A lot of amazing looking matches for this week. Hopefully I can redeem myself this week. For one, Michelle has a statement to make after her last few matches. As far as Montel goes well, there's a lot of history between myself and my opponent. I do believe I won the title and then the very next month, he won it from me. So uh yeah, that match will and is, going to own. I'll be on the lookout for the rest of the matches. Let's make this week a good one folks.
*As R Truths titantron blasts through the arena the crowd are having mixed reactions due to him returning from his attack at the hands of Ziggler.*
*He gets in the ring and waits for Regals arrival.*
*As Regal makes his way down to the ring, the crowd are in an uproar of boo’s. He seems to just accept this and has a look of disgust on his face and does not take his eyes off R Truth.*
*Regal demands for a mic and his music to be cut off and holds the mic to his mouth but doesn’t talk. He then brushes his hair to either side and walks towards R Truth.*
[William Regal] Who exactly do you think you are sunshine? What makes you think you are going to beat someone like me, I’m on a victory streak while your back prematurely from the beating given to you by one Dolph Ziggler. I am going to make sure you know your place and that I am above you. You are nothing but a little fish in a big pond you need to know when it’s the right time to leave and do so accordingly.
[William Regal] Do you want to know another thing I hate about you? You are so full of yourself and make out that rapping is such a big deal. Well I’ve got news for you sunshine, rapping is extremely easy, anyone can rap it takes no skill.
*R Truth points and indicates for William Regal to rap.*
[William Regal] I certainly can rap, yes. Listen to this. Hit the music.
[William Regal] Straight out of Blackpool, I’m William Regal; My rhymes are so intense, it shouldn’t be legal; My style is refined not crude and crass; I’ll keep you grounded like volcanic ash; A real tormentor with a trifle of dash; A man of fine manners who likes to bash; If you besmirch my name you’ll pay the price; I’ll mark you up ‘cause I’m the king of vice; I’ll take you down, rung by rung; I’m just like British parliament, I’m completely hung; Straight up gangster trippin’.
[William Regal] Now enough of your nonsense I have just proved how easy it is to rap, lets just get on with this match so I can give you the pummelling of a lifetime.
*Regal drops the mic and takes off his robe and the match begins.*

We return from the first commercial break of the show, then head ringside where our usual team of commentators are smiling in the direction of the camera.
Styles: Welcome back everybody, so what do you think about what we just witnessed, JR?
JR: It certainly was interesting to say the least. I can't say that I expected William Regal to bust out a rhyme like that but more power to him because I know I couldn't.
King: He showed he is truly an underrated performer. Did you see the crowd during his rap? They were so speechless they couldn't believe how great it was!
Styles: Sure, we'll go with that.
JR: I know we've got a brand new week ahead of us but I just have to say how much last weeks show entertained me. We had so much packed into one episode it just left you wanting more which is always a good thing.
King: Look JR, I liked last week as much as anybody but we're in a new week for a reason so lets focus on tonight's show okay?
Styles: Okay then King, without being negative in any shape or form I want you to hype tonight's show.
King: You act as if I do nothing but act negative. But anyways, we've got a huge six man tag-team match tonight. Ted Dibiase and the debuting Paul London and returning Brian Kendrick, will take on the Intercontinental Champion Wade Barret, Justin Gabriel and the man who finally broke his silence last week, Edge! It's sure to be a huge match, not just because there are six men but because it's elimination style! That means theres not just one pin but three or maybe even more! Hows that?
Styles: I did say the entire show not just one match but alright then. I'll speak about two other matches that shouldn't disappoint tonight. Former rivals, and former World Heavyweight Champions, MVP and Evan Bourne will renew their feud for one night only when they collide one on one! Then we have Chavo Guerrero facing off with the X-treme Champion, Rob Van Dam. Many of you may remember how they had quite an interesting little feud leading up to the money in the bank ladder match at Final Stand III.
JR: Lets not forget about our main-event of the evening, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio will team up to take on the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho and The Rock! Rivals colliding in tag-team form but we also cannot forget these four men paired off in one on ones last week which all were simply great matches. One match that stuck out to me had to be Sheamus against The Rock. That man showed why he is a future XWL World Heavyweight Champion.
King: I think Alberto Del Rio showed that too! He went one on one with the XWL World Heavyweight Champion and nearly won! That is an accomplishment in it's own when you can go toe to toe with the current top guy.
Styles: Very true indeed, now it's time for our first divas match of the evening! Sara Del Rey evened the score last week by making Layla tap out in their second match. Of course Layla scored the first victory the week before but then Vickie dropped the bombshell announcement to Layla informing her of this series of five matches. In fact before her match last week she protested this best of five idea and told Vickie to have the number one contenders contract ready because she wasn't going to waste any more time on Del Rey after making her submit.
JR: But of course she didn't do that, now did she? Layla tapped out after a sickening piledriver followed by a dragon sleeper. Our cameras caught up with Layla earlier today for a quick interview. So lets go to that now and then it will be time for their third match.
Styles: Before we do, I just have to say I can't wait to see what they do in an Iron woman match, it's such a unique concept and the fifteen minute time limit definitely makes it a highly fast paced match.
The titantron begins to play a video taking us to a grey backdrop room, where Layla is shown in casual clothes for a sit down interview.
Interviewer: After last weeks loss to Sara Del Rey, how is your confidence level going into the third match of this series of five?
Layla: Are you kidding me? I'm as confident as ever, I didn't take her seriously and can you blame me? The chick never speaks, does she no speakie English? How can you take someone who never says a damn thing seriously? Not to mention, Vickie Guerrero riled me up before the match so I couldn't calm down enough to concentrate. In fact I think she did it on purpose because she is always trying to put Lay-Cool down!
Interviewer: Have you heard that it will be an Iron woman match?
Layla: Who do you think requested the match, idiot! If I have to face her until I get three total victories then I might as well embarrass her as much as possible.
Interviewer: Finally, what is your plan going into this match?
Layla: I plan to go for the pin as many times as possible because by the time those fifteen minutes of fame for her are up. I plan to have racked up quite a lot of points. In fact I may even make her submit! No, you know what, I will! She thinks she can get away with making me tap out last week? Ha! I'll show her that anything she can do, I can do oh so much better!
The footage concludes and then we switch back to ringside for the match
Iron Woman Match
3rd Match Of The Best Of Five
Sara Del Rey Vs Layla
After Layla snatches the ring bell out of Del Rey's hands, she charges at her but gets tripped up by a drop toe hold and face plants the ring bell. Del Rey picks up Layla throws her into the ropes as 30 seconds go on the clock. Layla rebounds by pulling Sara's arm down and flips over in a bridge going for a pin 1.....2.....but Del Rey shifts her weight into a modified crucifix pin 1......2.....but Layla breaks out with 20 seconds remaining. She charges at Del Rey but gets big booted instantly and Sara covers 1......2....but Layla manages to get the shoulder up again. She kicks Del Rey in the head then props up onto the second rope but Sara gets to her feet with 10 seconds left to go. She shoves Layla causing her to lose her footing then grabs hold of her arms while shes seated on the top rope and pulls her off with a double arm suplex and bridges upon impact for the pin 1.... but the clocks runs out and the referee has to stop counting!
Winner: Layla
Del Rey's face says it all with disappointment in her eyes, Layla rolls out of the ring holding her back in pain but also has a huge smile on her face. The referee exits the ring and holds up Layla's arm in victory as Del Rey just stares at her before we go to a commercial break.
*A video package is shown, highlighting the very intense rivalry between Wade Barrett and Ted Dibiase Jr. It all builds up towards the Hell In A Cell match at Sadistic Conquest between the two men where their grudge will be settled. The video then goes back to No Escape 2010, the main event of the show featuring Chris Jericho and Edge. In a Hell In A Cell match, the video shows Edge being pushed off a ladder, going off the cell and through the announcers table. Putting him on the shelf for many months to come, the cameras pan to a backstage area where Edge is shown.*
[Interviewer] Hello Edge, my name is Alan Murphy. We've asked for your time here to speak about the Hell In A Cell, first off, do you care to give us an idea of what you went through in your inactive months after the Hell In A Cell match with Chris Jericho?
*Edge lets out a sigh, seemingly re-hashing memories which he does not want to bring up. But he reluctantly talks.*
[Edge] *Edge clears his throat.* When I took that fall at No Escape 2010, falling roughly 40 feet or even higher. I thought that was the end, and I'm not going all clichè here. I'm 100% serious when I say that I thought my career was over, with all of my past surgeries I've had on my neck I just had a feeling that was it. It's safe to say that after Hell In A Cell, Ted Dibiase nor Wade Barrett will ever be the same. Because since that day I've been in constant pain, I was put on the shelf for Five Months and I'm still not at the best health I can be. Both of these men need to get in the right state of mind for this match or one, or both of them may have to call it quits after this one..
[Alan Murphy] We know you had to go through a large amount of physiotherapy for the injuries you sustained in what may have been one of the most brutal matches in XWL History. How do you feel about two people as young as Wade and Ted going into the hellacious enviroment?
[Edge] I'm gonna' be honest with you, it's not a wise move for either of them to go into that match. Wade is 30 years old, Ted is 28. They're shortening their careers by a shocking amount by going for it, hell, I know I'm on borrowed time because of it. Take a look at this companies owner, Mick Foley. If it wasn't for Hell In A Cell, he wouldn't be walking with a permanent limp! But if Wade and Ted actually hate each other as much as they do, and boy do you know it. I know nothing will phase them going into that match, I can guarentee you that one of them will not leave that ring under their own will, I just know it. When you have two man with such anger towards each other and lock them in a cage like that, you better expect fireworks.
[Alan Murphy] It seems to be a common trend in XWL when it comes to those matches, just like when Evan Bourne was put on the shelf for several months due to a Hell In A Cell. Give us your honest predictions going into this match.
[Edge] That's a tough one, because I know both of these guys can and will rip each others heads off at the drop of a pin. But I honestly think this one can end either way, a Dream Street onto the steel roof. A Wasteland through the cage, anything can happen. Anything will happen when it comes to Ted and Wade, but the thing is at this point the title doesn't really matter, does it? It's a much deeper thing than that because both men are still fresh in their XWL careers and as they head into the biggest match of their lives they have a lot to prove. A lot more is on the line than just a title.. That's for sure..
[Alan Murphy] You can say that again, thank you very much for your time, Edge. Back to ringside.
I'm going to start reviewing things because I'm bored.
William Regal Promo (***) I liked the gifs and "flow" of the promo... but that rap is severely out-dated. The hung parliament and volcanic ash incident was a year ago... lol.
Layla Promo (****) Short and sweet. Proof that quality is better than quantity. Really enjoyed this despite not being a fan of Layla in real life.
Layla vs Sara Del Rey - Iron Woman Match (*) Nice alternate attire for Layla. But you could pin off anything? It ruined the match to see both go for pins way too often. It just wasn't enjoyable to watch at all. Congrats to Layla all the same.
Edge Promo (****) Reeks of awesomeness as expected from Adam. It was unique with Edge's take on HIAC and it also brought up some history of what happened to Edge in a past HIAC in XWL that some people may not be aware of (I wasn't). Great format and interesting from start to finish.
*After a short video package highlighting the brawl last week between Ted Dibiase and the Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, the camera cuts backstage. A clearly less than happy Wade Barrett is shown standing alongside XWL interviewer Angela Fong. Barrett is dressed in a smart suit and wears a troubled expression on his face.*
[Angela Fong] Wade Barrett, as we just saw from the video package, last week you and Ted Dibiase were involved in an all out brawl which destroyed the ringside area. Both of you were put through a lot of pain at the other's hands and the brawl finally ended with you being put through an announce table after a devastating spinebuster by Ted. I have to ask you, what is your condition coming off of last week into tonight's big 6 man elimination tag match? Who will your partners be? Is Justin Gabriel one of them given the fact he didn't help you last week? And are you nervous at all for the Hell In A Cell match at Sadistic Conquest knowing that if last week was just a brawl, then an actual Hell In A Cell match between yourself and Ted could mean the end of your careers given how much damage was inflicted?
*Barrett continues to stare frontwards, emotionless...speechless.*
[Angela Fong] Wade?
*Barrett remains unresponsive.*
[Angela Fong] Talk to me Wade.
*Finally Barrett turns to Fong.*
[Wade Barrett] I have nothing to say to you...
*Wade Barrett walks away leaving Angela Fong speechless as the screen fades to black for a commercial break.*

Oh yeah, I missed it out somehow but I did watch it. lol
William Regal vs R-Truth (***) Nice dominant win for Regal. Cool to see him let R-Truth up a few times to give him a chance instead of just killing him, but that didn't stop Regal from doing so anyway. How will Truth bounce back from this?

CM Punk's theme blasts through the arena, which is met by thunderous boo's from the crowd.
Punk steps out onto the stage, staring out into the XWL universe.
He makes his way down to the ring and grabs himself a microphone.
Punk: I have not stepped foot in an XWL ring since Bad Blood, where I lost to the scum that is Rey Mysterio. Rey... I know you’re sitting at home with your family watching this, enjoying your little break from wrestling. I just want to make sure that you know we are far from over... Like I said, it wouldn’t happen easily, but eventually I would rid the wrestling industry from you forever. So I will wait for you to show your face here again and you will once again become a target. But until that time comes I have to find myself a new goal.
Punk: So I have set my sights on something... Or should I say someone. There is a person in the back who has had my attention for the past few weeks now and what brought him to my attention was his recent change of attitude. I am of course talking about none other than the Charismatic Enabler himself, Jeffrey Nero Hardy. Just a short while ago, Jeffrey was parading around this company and he was claiming that he was the “Anti-Christ of Professional Wrestling”. He claimed that he was sick of all of you people and who can blame him?
Punk: Then a few weeks ago... He changed his tune, how he wasn’t thinking straight and that he “apologises” and you all once again proved to me that not one of you have a single brain cell in you, as every single one of you bought into the charade. You see the Jeff Hardy that you think you all know and love is in fact a fraud and a liar... There were no gimmicks behind the “Anti-Christ”... THAT is the true Jeff Hardy and the only thing that has truly changed is his wallet size.
Punk: Jeffrey figured out that without you morons buying his piss poor merchandise that he gets less money going into his bank account. And less money of course means less... I don’t think I even have to say it, I feel enough of you know Jeffrey’s bright and colourful past to figure to be able to figure out the next word for yourselves. Normally I wouldn’t care if you fools buy into these portrayals but Jeff Hardy is a bad influence on you people.
Punk: I have devoted years of my life trying to help Jeff Hardy but I have come to realise that he is a lost cause. I assume some of you know that this isn’t the first time that Jeffrey and I have crossed paths. A time long ago we used to be part of a huge company; we were both part of the same brand. Back then he was most commonly known backstage as the “Smack head of Smackdown”... I guess that some things just never change... Despite pleas from his friends and family to stop, Jeffrey continued to do any and every drug that he could get into his system. So I have finally came to my senses and realised that Jeffrey Nero Hardy is a lost cause.
Punk: No longer will I try to help you stop Jeff; you have made it very clear to everyone in your life that you have no intention to stop your reckless ways. With that being said, I know that you are miserable. I know that all the bumps you have taken in your career have left they’re mark; you’re in pain every second of every day... So I think the best thing that anybody can do for you now is to end your misery... Jeff I hope you realise that you made this the only available option and when I do what I have to, I am not doing it out of hate or spite. I am simply doing it because it’s the humane option left... I hope you understand that is for your benefit.
CM Punk drops his microphone and slowly begins making his way backstage. Screen fades out to a short video to hype this weeks main event
