[[Punk]]:: October 2nd 2011, some of you might remember that date, others might not. Allow me to remind you that October 2nd was the night of XWL Pay-Per-View “Eye for an Eye”. That was the night that I walked into the most sick and twisted structure that has ever been conceived, that was the night I walked into the Elimination Chamber against five of the best that this company had to offer. Now despite being forced to be the first entrant in the Chamber, despite being beaten, battered and bruised for almost an hour and more importantly despite all of the people that doubted I could achieve it, that was the night I left with the World Heavyweight Championship. That was the night when I forced people to realise that CM Punk isn’t all hype and that I am what I say I am and that is the Best In The World!



[[Punk]]:: Month after month it’s been the same old song and dance. Whoever they keep putting in front of me, I keep knocking them down. Despite this, whenever it comes to a World Championship match, people once again doubt my abilities. Two people of recent have made the same mistake, they are Dwayne and Chris Jericho and just look how everything worked out. Dwayne doubted my abilities and then I went on the defeat him, when he finally realised that I am in fact better than him it drove him over the edge and caused him to turn on his millions. Then there is Chris Jericho, a man that quite literally bought into his own hype. Now thanks to me, he’s sitting at home nursing a broken nose. Silver lining though Chris, you’ll have more chance of landing a spot on dancing shows with your new nose.



[[Punk]]:: Month in, month out it’s the same end result, with me standing in the middle of this ring and holding this Championship proudly for the World to see. I have done what so many people failed to do, Dwayne couldn’t do it, Jericho couldn’t do it and even the almighty Evan Bourne couldn’t do it. What I have managed to do is make the World Championship interesting again, when I come out here holding a microphone in hand, the whole World hangs on every word I say, then I do what so many people fail to do and that is go out to that ring and back up everything I say. Nobody can ignore this and as much as some people hate to admit it, I’m the Champion that this company has been begging for, somebody who is not afraid to say what’s on his mind and somebody who is willing to take on any and every challenge. Now, when time comes for X-Treme Xmas I have to face one of my biggest challenges yet.



[[Punk]]:: Just let me take a seat right here. Now for any of you who missed Vickie Guerrero’s little announcement due to falling asleep, I know I was struggling in the back to keep my eyes open, but if any of you missed that then let me repeat what she had to say. It appears that Vickie Guerrero and the cowardly weasel that is now apparently GM of Breakdown Cody Rhodes came to some mutual agreement that I will defend my Championship in a Fatal 4 Way at the next PPV. Not only that, the match will be contested in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs match. My opponents? They are none other than Justin Gabriel, the current Intercontinental Champion: Wade Barrett and “Macho Man” Randy Savage.



[[Punk]]:: I know what you’re all thinking and you’re right, it’s that time of year again where I tell you all exactly what I think of my opponents for the PPV. Let’s start with Justin Gabriel shall we? I have made my opinion on Justin very clear in the past; he was one of the six men inside the Elimination Chamber when I became World Champion. He’s never really made his impact in this company and because of that people will not look at him as a threat; I on the other hand am smarter than that. I know what it’s like to try and prove yourself against the people that doubt you and I know he will be coming into this match, willing to do anything he possibly can to either get his hands on the World Title or to shut the mouths of the doubters out there.



[[Punk]]:: However I am a tad confused with the decisions by management once again, because whenever it comes to Justin Gabriel and the World Championship there always seems to be more than one contender involved. Firstly there was the Elimination Chamber, then when he had his chance to become #1 Contender he was placed in a triple threat and now he’s forced to share his match with two other guys? I personal don’t understand the decisions, maybe it’s just their way of telling us they don’t have faith in him, maybe they don’t see him as Championship material or maybe they’re waiting for him to prove himself against all odds. I don’t know the answer, I’m sure Justin doesn’t but what I’m puzzled by is why he’s never chose to question it. That’s his deal I guess, but if he wants to be stuck sharing his spot, that’s his choice.



[[Punk]]:: Next we have Wade Barrett, the current Intercontinental Champion. I have respect for Wade, for one simple fact and that’s he has earned his spot. No matter how much you dislike the man, you have to admit that he’s been on a roll lately and certainly deserves his chance at the World Championship, but it does raise one question. With both Gabriel & Barrett in this match, will they try and put their petty differences aside for one night? Will we see The Corre reunite for the sake of the World Heavyweight Championship, maybe if Justin Gabriel is stupid enough to fall for that trick then it might just happen. But let’s face it, The Corre was never about both men, it was about Wade Barrett and Gabriel blindly followed his every action.



[[Punk]]:: Wade will use any means necessary to get to the very top of this business and if that means using a few people along the way, he will. We’ve seen it many times before, The Nexus, The Corre, all used to push himself to bigger and better things in this industry and every member fell for it. They truly believed they were sharing the spotlight with him, when in truth they were just doing his dirty work and making life easier for him. Those kinds of tactics will get you places in this industry, but now that Wade has nobody watching his back, will he be as successful? Maybe he will, maybe he won’t, I can only assume we will find that answer out at X-Treme Xmas.



[[Punk]]:: Then we come to my personal favourite, “The Macho Man” Randy Savage. Ooooh yeah, this man is a true icon in this business and I admit I am a huge fan of Randy Savage. Which makes it all the more difficult to say these next things, you see management is making the very same mistake they did with Dwayne, it’s like déjà vu. Despite being a legend, Randy Savage has achieved absolutely nothing in this company and as much as it pains me to say it, he does not deserve a World Championship match. He’s been in this company for a few months, he’s beat one or two notable guys, but is that really enough to earn yourself a spot in this match? I certainly don’t think so, I’m actually disappointed it’s played out this way.



[[Punk]]:: Look at everything you see around you now, despite being new to this company he’s already being pushed like crazy. He’s in the main event, get’s ridiculous amount of TV time, hell even go to the website, they have even felt he deserves to be on the background. As much as it pains me to say it, I don’t even think Savage has done enough in this company to even be considered for any kind of Title match, let alone A World Title match. Maybe management didn’t feel anyone else deserved it, but what about John Cena? What about Dwayne? Hell even Cody Rhodes has done more to deserve a Title match, but no. We have to go with the legend because he has the name that can bring in all the money.



[[Punk]]:: It didn’t take long for an undeserving person to worm their way into a Title match, why don’t we just throw in Alberto Del Rio for old time sakes while we’re at it? Despite this, you can see the odds are clearly stacked against me when it comes to defending my Championship, but I thrive in these situations, I want to go out there and prove that I am the best each and every week and I intend to do so at X-treme Xmas. I have defeated the innovator himself Jeff Hardy and I will use what I learnt from that match to once again retain my World Heavyweight Championship and prove without a shadow of doubt that I am the Best in the World!

*The cameras cut to the backstage area. Wade Barrett is shown with a smirk on his face and he appears to be much more smug than usual.*



*As the crowd acknowledges Barrett with their usual boos and jeers, the camera pans outward to reveal Matt Striker standing by with a microphone in hand.*



[Matt Striker] Wade, earlier tonight you were announced as one of four competitors who will compete for the World Heavyweight Championship at X-treme Xmas. What are your thoughts on heading into the biggest match of your career in just three short weeks, and how do you feel about facing off against current champion CM Punk tonight live on Breakdown?



[Wade Barrett] My thoughts are that this is a long time coming Matt. Ever since my debut here in XWL I have proved time after time that I should be in the main events and that I should be competing for the World Heavyweight Championship. I have had the greatest debut year in XWL history and everybody has paled in comparison to Wade Barrett. That's why I walked away as the Slammy Award Winner for Newcomer Of The Year. I have dominated in that ring more than anyone and I've been entertaining in my interviews and segments every single week. Not even CM Punk rivals me. He's only been relevant since the summer, whereas I have been more than relevant since the very second I stepped through that curtain for the first time in January. It's about time that my efforts are noticed, and finally I get to headline a Pay-Per-View for the grandest prize in this industry. Tonight Punk will get a small preview of what's to come at X-treme Xmas, and I can't think of a better way to build momentum heading into that match than by defeating the World Champion myself in a one-on-one situation.



[Matt Striker] There's no doubt you've had one heck of a year Wade, but in this match at X-treme Xmas, there will not only be CM Punk and yourself. You will also be stepping into the ring with none other than the legendary Macho Man Randy Savage and your arch-rival Justin Gabriel. Not to mention that the match will be contested under Tables, Ladders and Chairs rules! This will be the first TLC match of your young career. Are you at all intimidated about stepping into such a hazardous environment with the champion, a legend and the man who knows you better than anybody? It's quite a stacked deck if I may say so myself...



[Wade Barrett] Honestly, I don't care if the deck is stacked. I've been up against seemingly impossible odds before and still walked out the victor. Just go back and watch Unforgiven and the 5-man Gauntlet match where I defeated 5 other men one after the other with no intervals. I don't care if the deck is stacked, and I'm not at all intimidated by competing in my first ever Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. The match type just provides me with more ways to hurt my opponents and that's only a good thing in my book. The only threat in the match is CM Punk, but the threat posed by him is minimal which I'll prove tonight by pinning his shoulders to the canvas. Macho Man is just your typical case of a washed-up has-been who people have long forgotten about, grasping at straws to try and get a few more minutes of fame before shriveling up and being forgotten like the fossil that he is. And Justin Gabriel... well, I've already said a lot of things about Gabriel. And this past Sunday at November To Remember, I kicked a door into his head. I gave Justin Gabriel a severe concussion and a fractured skull, and I know for a fact he has been hospitalized indefinitely. I'll be surprised if he even makes it to X-treme Xmas, and if he doesn't that will just make the formality of me becoming World Champion even easier than expected.

[Matt Striker] Well, Gabriel has actually been scheduled to compete against R-Truth this week on Redemption...

*Wade seems surprised by this and the smirk disappears from this face.*



[Wade Barrett] Really? Has he actually showed up at the arena yet? Has the match taken place?

[Matt Striker] Well no, not that I'm aware of...

*Barrett appears somewhat relieved by this and the smirk slowly creeps across his face once again.*



[Wade Barrett] Exactly. And even if Gabriel does compete on Redemption he will be nowhere near 100%. Not even 10%. I'll be surprised if he even knows his name after what I did to him, let alone be able to compete in a wrestling match. He's nothing more than a vegetable at the moment and I hope he stays that way. It's what he deserves.



[Matt Striker] Well that's... nevermind. I'm not one to argue. Ok, moving on. There have been many comparisons drawn between yourself and Shawn Michaels as of late in regards to your success. Both of you have been great Intercontinental Champions in your own right, and you've even set yourself the target of surpassing his 13 month record as Intercontinental Champion. However, you now have the opportunity of becoming a dual champion if you become World Champion and retain your Intercontinental Championship at X-treme Xmas. Something which Shawn has also accomplished holding those very same titles. How do you feel you compare to Shawn Michaels who many consider the greatest of all time, and how do you feel about the possibility of becoming a dual champion in XWL, the first since Evan Bourne held both the World and US titles simultaneously?



[Wade Barrett] I've said before that I have no comparison. Not even Shawn Michaels can compare to Wade Barrett. You can call him the greatest performer of all time all you want but if I was to face Shawn tonight he would lose. If I was around when Shawn was in his prime, I would've beaten him and put him in his place. And Evan Bourne? Well, we've all seen that he was just a flash-in-the-pan. He had a few title reigns and now he's faded off the radar into obscurity and mediocrity. Unlike me. I will never settle for anything other than being the best. And I now have that opportunity.



[Wade Barrett] Being a double champion would just be the exclamation point on 2011 for Wade Barrett, and I have absolutely no intention of walking out of Xtreme X-mas with no less than two championships. I have always sought the World Heavyweight Championship ever since lacing up a pair of boots for the first time, but make no mistake about it, my Intercontinental Championship also means a lot to me. If you look at the list of all the greats who have held the Intercontinental Championship, the name of Wade Barrett is right at home alongside them. But the World Heavyweight Championship is the ultimate prize, and by winning that I cement myself as the greatest wrestler in the world today. And not only that, I become the first ever British World Heavyweight Champion. That is an amazing honor and accolade to achieve and I now have my chance to attain that. I'm done messing around with the likes of Ted Dibiase, Kurt Angle and Christian... they're no competition for me. Now it's time for Wade Barrett to step up to the plate and finally show the world what he is capable of by becoming World Heavyweight Champion. And trust me when I say that will happen...

[Matt Striker] Thank you for your time Wade.



*Wade appears to be deep in thought, pondering what he just said as the camera zooms in on him slightly before fading away to a commercial break...*

**Dolph Ziggler's theme begins to play through the speakers and all the standing fans in the arena sit down, displeased with the arrival. The arena fills with a mass of boo's as Dolph exits through the curtain.**





**Dolph, wearing his usual cocky smile across his face, slowly makes his way down to the ring, ensuring that he taunts the fans as much as possible on the way.**





**As he gets closer to the ring, he stops and tells an idle camera man to go get him a microphone. Cauciously, the cameraman runs to the announcers desk, gets a mic, and hands it back to Dolph. Ziggler takes the mic, shoves him aside, and slides into the ring. He stands in the center of the ring until the crowd gets quieter before he begins to speak.**





[Dolph]
Ladies, Ladies! Please, contain yourselves! There's enough Dolph to go around. Actually no, there's not. Not a single person in this crowd even deserves to be in the same ROOM as me. You should all count yourselves lucky as hell to be here right now, because it's most likely already the best night of your lives thanks to the presense of yours truely. Yeah I know, I know. I'm cocky. But when you've got the talent to back it up then you can say anything you like. Of course, none of you know what that feels like and none of you ever will. As for me, how I live isn't just a way of life, it's a destiny. You don't become as great as I am, it's not possible. Me.. I was born, perfection.





[Dolph]
Five weeks. It's been five mere weeks since I came out infront of you people, the people at home, the wannabes in the back, and the corporate minions that run this company. I told you all that there was a new Dolph Ziggler in XWL. Improved if you will. Since then, I've been unstoppable. Week after Week I've stormed out of that curtain, made my way down that ramp, and stood in this very ring. Not because I had to, not even because I wanted to.. because I needed to. How I've been treated in XWL since day one is unexceptable, and that's quickly changed. I'm the best young talent that the industry has to offer. If anybody deserves respect, it's me. Yet, I didn't get that respect, did I? Instead I was met with boo's and jeers from you hypocritical losers sitting on your asses watching ME take names and kick asses. When you're not respected, when you're not appreciated, you take action. And I've done exactly that.





[Dolph]
From week one I've been unstoppable! The people that I've faced haven't just been defeated, they haven't just been embarrassed, they've been changed. Their life will forever be an afternote of their defeat. It will play over and over in their head, what could they have done to defeat Dolph Ziggler? What was the turning point of the match? You're wrong. You see there's never any "turning point" in a Dolph Ziggler match. The match is one-sided, it's simple. You step in between these four corners, and you pretty much play a waiting game to see how long you can stay on your feet. Trust me, the waits not long. Each time I'm told my opponent, I already know what they're doing, they're strategizing. That's an instant downfall, because you see Dolph Ziggler doesn't need to strategize, that's just weak. No, Dolph Ziggler comes out here and he kicks ass, it's easy. You can study my matches all you want, study my training, hell you can study my damn shoe size for all I care. It doesn't matter, 'cause you see as soon as you figure out a way to possibly take me down, you've already been submitted.





[Dolph]
When you're on a streak.. nothing else really matters, it's all about winning. I've been asked so many questions recently about my recent streak. Most people win every second match, things are usually pretty even around here. But I've neer been a "usual" kinda person. I've never been normal. You think of your dreams, of what you aspire to be. I'm not even on the same level as that, hell I'm not even on the same scale. I'm at a point in my life where I've taken my skill, my looks, my talent, and I've moulded them into a force that just can't be surpassed. The bar remains with me wherever I go, and not a single person back there could raise it. I'm untouchable! You may all be stuck in your dead end jobs with your meaningless asirations and nobody families, but not me. And there's not a thing on this planet that would make me give up everything that I've fought for just to feel "liked". I've got an ego, I'll be the first person to admit that, I've got a hell of an ego! Is my career just a way to feed that ego? Maybe it is, maybe it's not, I dunno. But what I DO know, is that my ego is quite happy as it is, and trust me.. it's going to remain there.





[Dolph]
I'm not even going to keep talking about "perfection" because that's not all that stands here. Granted, I AM a sight to see, but we all know that. No no no, I may have been born and raised as perfection, but that didn't get me where I am. You can say what you want but I've worked my ass off for years to get to this point, I've fought through injuries, I've missed occasions and time with people that I may never get the chance to regain. But do I regret it? Not for a second. Trust me when I tell you that I may be telling you this, but I'm not just like every other guy who says this. They say it's about the adrenaline, the personalities that they meet, or the fans that they please. If I knew for a second that I was changing a fan's life for the better, I'd be out of this company quicker than you could get out of your chairs. Well, that's an incorrect comparison, most of you slobs have to start getting out of your seats half way through the show so that you can nearly be able to walk out of the arena when the show ends.





[Dolph]
But back on topic, I don't give a crap about you people, you know that! I don't give a crap about the people in the back, if that wasn't painfully obvious either. Most feel good stories say that the person loved working their way up the rankings, from company to company, with their eye on the ball. Working through the small arenas, the sports halls, the damn bingo halls. Me? I hated it, I hated it all. I've never been a team player, where's the gain in that? It's non-existant. I didn't care who I worked with, I didn't care where I was. The arenas disgusted me. The bookers disgusted me. The hometown fans disgusted me. I never wanted to work my way here, I was BORN to be here. I was ready, I had the talent. But I wasn't appreciated. There was no other option, I was always going to end up here, it was just a matter of time. But look at me, look how young I am. It didn't take long, did it? I set my goal, I completed it, and I surpassed it. The effort involved? Don't even bother asking me. What effort? I'm the best in the world damnit! I'll be more than happy to admit however, that I did go through pain, a whole lot of it. I persisted, I'm not weak. I don't know the meaning of the word. And that's just why I'm standing in this ring with you losers watching me and it isn't the other way around. You couldn't live a day in my life, you couldn't handle it.





[Dolph]
Now hit my music. Wait, hit my new music. Because I'm not just the best this company has the offer, I'm the new best in the world. I'm the HEEL, I'm PERFECTION. And I.. I'm here to show the world.

Gene Okerlund: Ladies and Gentlemen, you heard it earlier tonight in a simultaneous broadcast on Breakdown and Redemption that at X-Treme X-Mas there will be a Fatal Four Way match for the World Heavyweight championship. The champion CM Punk who defeated Chris Jericho last week at November to Remember will have to pull out all the stops to make sure he remains the champion at the end of the month, as he will be challenged by dominant Intercontinental champion Wade Barrett who is more then confident that he can walk out as a double champion at the Pay-Per-View, and in a little sample match, we will take on CM Punk in tonight’s main event.

*The crowd can be heard cheering for tonight's Main Event*

Gene Okerlund: And then there's Wade Barrett's long time rival and former ally in The Corre, that of course being the South-African Warrior Justin Gabriel, and he'll be hoping that this time will be his time, after he left disappointed from Eye for an Eye in the Elimination Chamber. And then there's the last challenger. Macho Man Randy Savage! Since debuting just a few months ago he's been of a heck of a role, quickly becoming a main feature of XWL programming. Oh, and the match at X-Treme X-Mas, will be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match!

*As the crowd cheer again for the TLC Match, Macho Man can be heard shouting off screen*

Randy Savage: OH YEAH!

*Savage then walks into camera shot to a huge ovation from the crowd, as he faces Gene Okerlund*



Randy Savage: Tables, Ladders and Chairs, TLC, yeah. Freak out, freak out, number one contender of the World heavyweight championship of the world, Macho Man Randy Savage coming straight into all the homes around the world via their television screens. YEAH!

*Macho pauses, and turns around taking a step closer towards the camera, looking directly into the lens*

Randy Savage: And I will win the World heavyweight championship of the World match and I will become the new World Heavyweight champion of the world, and you cannot doubt that for a second, because I am Macho Man Randy Savage, I cannot be stop, and will not be stopped and that cannot be denied.

*As Gene starts talking Macho takes a step back, and slowly turns around with his arms raised in the arm, then as he faces the camera, he stops lowering his arms, then quickly turning to face Gene*

Gene Okerlund: Well Macho Man you'll have to go through three men to achieve that goal including two of the greatest champions in XWL history, and two of the biggest stars in the company today, in current World champion CM Punk, and Intercontinental champion Wade Barrett, your thoughts?

*Before replying Macho turns around again facing the camera*



Randy Savage: Intercontinental World heavyweight champion Wade Barrett, yeah, let me tell you something about Wade Barrett, he can walk around talking about how he is the greatest Intercontinental Heavyweight champion of all time, but that is a lie, because he is not. NOT EVEN CLOSE February 8, 1986, Boston, Massachusetts. Macho Man Randy Savage vs. Tito Santana, I climbed on to the top rope and delivered the flying elbow, and I pinned Tito Santana, one two three, and that was that. Finished, it was over, and the Macho Man began to make history onwards and upwards as the most decorated Intercontinental Heavyweight champion of the world of all time! OF ALL TIME! OF ALL TIME!

*The crowd cheer as Macho empathizes his words, then he looks up to the ceiling turning around. Then looks out of shot to his left, then to his right, adjusts his glasses, then goes back to speaking*

Randy Savage: So when Wade Barrett talk about the greatest Intercontinental champion of all-time, tell him Macho Man said thank you, and he IS welcome, but I don't need the compliments, NOT that they're not welcome, and I'm sure he has better things to do then praise the King of Madness, Randy Savage yeah.

*Macho turn turns to Gene Okerlund almost blocking him from the camera as he continues to speak*



Randy Savage: And then there is Justin Gabriel, The South-African Teen Wolf, yeah, but unlike the original Teen Wolf he's going to need to the superhero powers that he can get if he's going to stand any chance of becoming the champion at X-Treme X-Mas, because as a standard normal person before he turns into that Teen Wolf, he is not that special, and all the self belief in the world will not, and does not matter, because that just won't cut the cheese, yeah. No it will not, not even a little bit, not he might be a very good wrestling superstar, but being good is not good enough, and he will never be good enough, because he doesn't have what it takes to become great...YEAH!

*Savage turns around again, now facing the camera*

Gene Okerlund: And then there's the champion, CM Punk.

*As Macho mentions Punk's name the crowd cheer for the champion, as a "CM PUNK" chant starts for a few seconds*

*Macho turns around and stares into another camera lens talking directly at it pointing into the lens*

*Somewhat baffled at what Savage just said, Gene Okerlund appears to be rendered quizzical as he talks*

*As Mean Gene changed the subject, Macho turns around facing Okerlund*



Randy Savage: Hold the phone for one second Mean Gene, you're all business tonight, there's no flow, no conversation with the Macho Man, and I do not like it, not one bit.

Gene Okerlund: Well Macho I assume you'd have a lot of get off your chest.



Randy Savage: It's ok, I will forgive you. I'm guessing you're a little bit upset with the Macho Man right now. And I bet you're wondering where Elizabeth is right now, aren't you?

*As Macho mentions Elizabeth's name Gene perks up excited to see her*

Gene Okerlund: Elizabeth? Is she here? I'd love to speak to her.

Randy Savage: Unfortunately she is not. She was away on important business, and could not make it here on time tonight, but it's OK, I'll just have to make up for it, in the only way I can, yeah.

*As Macho tells Okerlund that Elizabeth isn't in the arena tonight, Gene looks a bit disappointed*

Gene Okerlund: That's an awful shame, it's a huge night for you, and I would of loved to get her thoughts.



Randy Savage: And so would I. But back onto the matter at hand. Tyson Kidd. Hart Dungeon graduate, Resistance member and number one contender, that's a lot of words and little meaning behind them, sure he might be tough, and he might be a lot more then he looks and that is why he is number one contender for the Intercontinental championship, he might be one thing, but I am many things such as the greatest wrestling superstar legend of all time. *Macho quickly turns to face Gene Okerlund, then just as quickly turns back starring into the camera*
