Breakdown cuts to Josh Matthews standing there with a massive goofy smile on his face, as the crowd are already cheering in case they see any big superstars such as the men in our main event, Randy Orton or CM Punk. Instead, at first all they get is Matthews' face.

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 477129-josh_matthews

[Josh Matthews]
Please welcome my guest at this time, he is a member of the so called "Resistance", Tyson Kidd!

The crowd are already booing and jeering by the time Josh has said "Resistance" knowing they'll hate whoever this is, but their boos don't intensify once Tyson Kidd is mentioned or he appears, as though their hate is reserved for the members that appear to be leading the charge. Tyson looks around idly before eventually turning to Josh with that annoying smile on his face.

[Tyson Kidd]
Hey Josh, been a while, hasn't it? How are you?

Josh looks pleasantly surprised.

[Josh Matthews]
Well, Tyson, I-

[Tyson Kidd]
I was just kidding, Josh, I don't care. And why would I? All you're here to do, is hold the microphone while the grownups are talking, so kindly do your job while I do what I like. I bet you're going to ask all about what happened with John Morrison earlier in the night, right? And you think I'm going to say that's what happens when you mess with the Resistance? Wrong, that's what happens when you stick your nose into MY business. I'm just one guy, The Resistance is going to be one of the most changing and saving forces to ever come along in this business, we aren't like DX, or the NWO, or anything like that. We aren't in this because we just want what we want. We're in this to get what we DESERVE. Cody, myself, Chris Hero, Brian Kendrick, all of us should have had an opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship by now. Mick Foley has poisoned this brand long enough, we've already explained what we're going to do, and why we're going to do it, and when Cody beats Mick Foley to an inch of his life and has him screaming to end the match, when Cody earns himself and Chris Hero new contracts, that's when a new age is starting for this brand, for this company, for this industry. You're another bottom feeder, you won't understand what this is all about, but once it's done, maybe I'll explain it to you and use an "English to Incompetent" dictionary, so you, and the backwater people of Colorado...

The crowd begin to boo, as Tyson has begun hunching forward and intimidating Josh, and he now turns to the screen with a sarcastic look on his face.

[Tyson Kidd]
Yeah, that's right, you and you're going t-

Matthews works up all the testicular fortitude he can muster and proceeds to interrupt Tyson Kidd.

[Josh Matthews]
Tyson, I'm sorry to interrupt you but I have to ask, you've now experienced a loss to Stone Cold Steve Austin since earlier tonight, do you think now that your momentum's been halted that'll have a negative effect on you?

[Tyson Kidd]
Josh, come on, do you really have to ask that question? That's nothing. I'll-

[Crowd]
WHAT?!

Tyson Kidd stares blankly at Matthews as the infamous "What?" of the crowd suddenly sparks off and Kidd slowly rotates himself towards the camera.

[Tyson Kidd]
I said, that's nothing.

[Crowd]
WHAT?

[Tyson Kidd]
Insignificant!

[Crowd]
WHAT?

[Tyson Kidd]
Absolutely worthless!

[Crowd]
WHAT?

Tyson starts to walk around his circles, with his fingers in his ears and his eyes closed.

Tyson Kidd]
La la la la la! I'm not listening, I'm not listening!

[Crowd]
WHAT?

[Tyson Kidd]
Disgusting fat guys who fantasize about their own mothers say what?

Tyson does a Hulk Hogan-esque listening pose to the camera as the crowd didn't fully process what he's said.

[Crowd]
WHAT?

Tyson grins smugly at the camera as the crowd realise what he's just done as the boos start to increase dramatically. Tyson shakes his head with the smile on his face as he turns back to Josh.

[Tyson Kidd]
Like I was saying, Josh. That's nothing. One fluke loss to one guy who'll just use it to continue with his dead career, not long before he ends up hurting himself once again, keeping it dead. In the end, it won't matter. These people don't matter, Austin doesn't matter. All that matters is-

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Kidd gets thrown forward and shoved to the ground as he is hit full force in the back from behind. He lands on the ground and looks around to see who just hit him. He looks up to see a familiar face but yet, is surprised. As the camera zooms to see the shock in the face of Kidd, he is met with a quick boot to the face. Now lying on the floor, he receives a flurry of punches and jabs to the side, stomach, and face as his attacker appears to be angry. The person's legs straighten as they appear to stand up. This attack seems to be over, when the person leans over and strongly slaps Tyson in the face, showing the height of disrespect. The camera zooms out slowly and begins to rise to reveal the body of the attacker.

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 Normal_vlcsnap-00024

The camera scrolls up more and more to show the face of the one and only, Dolph Ziggler.

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 Normal_vlcsnap-00025

[Dolph]
Didn't expect me, Tyson? Well I couldn't listen to another word. You talk about "The Resistance"? Gimme a break. You guys feel like you're not getting what you deserve so you band together, that's about right, yeah? Please, I'm in the exact same boat. Difference is, I don't need help. I'm doing it on my own, and I'm showing everyone what's in store. You've seen my matches since I recently declared my return to greatness. I've faced Kane, I made him tap. I faced Curt Hawkins, I made him tap also. Next week, I face HBK.. and guess what? That old loser is gonna tap just like the rest. It's only a matter of time before it's your turn Tyson, so I suggest you stop whining, and stop taking up MY tv time.

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 Normal_vlcsnap-00028

[Dolph]
So alongside your beating, I'll leave you with this. You wanna talk about what matters? What matters.. is the fastest rising star in this company. What matters is the heel. What matters is perfection. What matters.. IS DOLPH ZIGGLER.

Dolph looks down at Kidd with a smirk before stepping over him and walking out of the camera's view. XWL then fades to commercial.

**As we return from the commercial break, the arena turns to darkness. A short hype video begins to play on the screen. **

** Narrating the video is a deep, husky voice, aggressively but quietly saying the names of previous 'big name' opponents that he has defeated in his career. **

:: Goldberg ::
The Rock.. Hogan.. Sting..

** As each name is said, it appears on the screen in bold letters, and a short clip plays in the background, showing them lying helpless.. defeated.. at the hands of the former WWE & WCW World Champion. **

:: Goldberg ::
Lesnar.. Triple H.. Nash.. Jericho..

** The same theme continues as more names are mentioned, and clips from WrestleMania XX and Unforgiven '03 feature in the video. The video concludes with the opening pyro of Breakdown and Redemption playing on screen, merged together - half of Breakdown on the left, and half of Redemption on the right, indicating that the XWL's latest acquisition could be appearing on either show. The final scene shows a closeup of the lionesque Goldberg, slowly zooming in towards his daring eyes. The screen goes black, and the assertive voice of Goldberg has one last thing to say. **

:: Goldberg ::
Who's next?

** The lights come back on and normality continues on Breakdown. Around the arena, a familiar chant of "Goldberg... Goldberg... Goldberg.." can be heard echoing from wall to wall. **

(Purposely made short for dramatic effect and since I'm not entirely sure what show I'm on just yet haha! I figured I'd just try to hype Goldberg up as I won't be able to play any matches until WWE 12 is out. pale )

No dude, that was good, that was an example of a really well made short simple promo that served it's purpose effectively. Can't wait to see something longer when you finally debut him, that was really detailed and well written.

*As Breakdown is expected to return from a commercial break, the camera's instead fade into the title screen of the Late Show with David Letterman*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 1-2

*As the title screen ends the camera does a quick swoop around the stage with the camera shot ending on David Letterman sat behind his desk*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 2-2

David Letterman: I'm not sure if you've been tuning into XWL's Breakdown recently, but they have a character on their show that really takes you back. He was one of the true stars of pro wrestling in the 1980's, and he's looking great and he's doing very well for himself lately, that of course being Macho Man Randy Savage.

*The crowd applaud a little bit as one person shouts "Woo"*

David Letterman: He was best know for his flamboyance in what he wore, and he's still wearing the same clothes now, and he really brings a breath of fresh air into wrestling, and I truly recommend checking it out.

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 3-2

David Letterman: Anyway it's time for our Top Ten, and this weeks category is "Top Ten things Macho Man Randy Savage needs".

*The audience applaud for a few seconds, then Letterman continues his monologue*

David Letterman: The XWL is just about to celebrate it's third birthday with a HUGE supershow combine both Breakdown and Redemption talent, and then the week after it will be the November to Remember Pay-Per-View, and presenting the Top Ten things Macho Man Randy Savage needs, is well the one and only Macho Man Randy Savage!

*On queue the live band begin to play a rendition of Randy Savage's theme music*

*As Macho's theme plays, Savage walks out onto the set in a black and white costume turning around showing off the design on the back of his jacket*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 4-2

*As Macho's theme fades out, he turns out facing David Letterman*

Randy Savage: Thank you for having me, yeah. The Madness is spreading to CBS and the Late Show, yeahh. When they told me I was going to be taking the week off from wrestling to hype up this very prestigious event they told me I would be appearing on the best of the best and to hell with the rest. And I guess that fell through, and now I'm here, yeah.

*Letterman sarcastically chuckles to himself*

David Letterman: It's a pleasure to have you here Macho Man. Ok so Top Ten things Macho Man Randy Savages needs, at number ten.

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 1-3

Randy Savage: A translator. YEAH, a lot of people have told the Macho Man they they can't really understand what I'm sayying, but that's ok!

David Letterman: Exactly as long you you know what you're saying then what does it matter?

Randy Savage: My point precisely, yeah, if they're not down with the Macho Man then what does it matter? It's not my problem that they don't get my machismo, but if they wanted too, then they would, and that's all there is too it.

*As the crowd clap the Macho Man, Letterman laughs*

David Letterman: And at number nine.

*A small drum roll starts in anticipation of the next item on the list*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 2-3

Randy Savage: A trip to the GAP.

*The audience laugh a little*

David Letterman: That could come in handy.

Randy Savage: Yeah, buy some new socks, nobody likes holey socks, need new ones YEAH!

David Letterman: Socks would be useful. And at number eight.

*The drum roll starts again as Macho announces number eight*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 3-3

Randy Savage: Better offers then doing the top ten list on Letterman.

*The drummer of the live band performs a rimshot, as Macho delivers a classic top ten item, and Letterman chuckles*

David Letterman: Don't we all? And at number seven.

*The drum roll begins*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 4-3

Randy Savage: Anger management.

*Macho looks around the set as the audience laugh*

Randy Savage: Lots of pent up aggression has the Macho Man, that makes sense. But I'd prefer a jet ski.

*Letterman chuckles to himself*

David Letterman: Who wouldn't love a jet ski? And at number six.

*Once again the drum roll starts up*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 5-2

Randy Savage: A title shot.

*The crowd applaud as Macho nods in agreement*

Randy Savage: Oh yeah! Macho Randy Savage Intercontinental Heavyweight champion of world. Has a nice ring to it, or even the World title, yeah, that would be sweet like sugar and so is honey, YEAH!

David Letterman: And at number five.

*As Letterman requests number five the drum roll begins*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 6-2

Randy Savage: His own talk show.

*The audience laugh then applaud as Letterman shares his views*

David Letterman: Could you imagine?

Randy Savage: Yes I could imagine, should be happening, want that to be happening, Macho Man has a lot of opinions on a lot of topics, need to be expressed to the world.

David Letterman: And we can't wait to hear them.

Randy Savage: The Late Show with David Letterman hosted by Macho Man Randy Savage, has a nice ring to it, don't you think David?

David Letterman: Anything you want Randy. And at number four.

*The drum roll starts*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 7-2

Randy Savage: A lifetime movie.

*The crowd applaud as does Randy Savage*

Randy Savage: Yeah, a movie about the Macho Man, would be very...interesting, but I'm not quite sure they could an actor with my natural charisma, BUT luckily for them Macho has an acting background himself, so I could just play myself. Maybe even all the roles, an all Macho production, has a nice ring to it. YEAH!

David Letterman: It would certainly be different. And at number three.

*The drum begins yet again*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 8-2

Randy Savage: For joke number three, tune into the XWL Supershow next week.

*The crowd laugh at yet another classic top ten joke*

Randy Savage: Oh yeah, Supershow next week, all the talent from Breakdown and Redemption all on one show, celebrating our third anniversary, and who's headlining that show? The Macho Man of course, first mainevent in the XWL, going to be historic, wouldn't want anyone to miss out, make sure you tune in, next week, yeah.

David Letterman: I wouldn't miss it. And at number two.

*The drum roll starts again*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 9-2

Randy Savage: Time in a mental asylum.

*The crowd and Letterman laugh at Randy Savage*

Randy Savage: Already spent some time in one, and they said I was OCD, One Cool Dude, and I went on my way, STRAIGHT TO THE TOP of the X-Treme Wrestling League, and that's where I'm going to stay.

David Letterman: And finally, the number one thing Macho Man Randy Savage needs is?

*As the drum rolls for a final time, Macho waits a few more seconds be he reveals the number one thing*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 10-1

Randy Savage: Decaf. Cup of coffee, YEAH. I AM the cream, and the cream rises to the top, the top of where, the top of the X-Treme Wrestling League, that's where. The cream of the crop, the best of the lot, Macho Randy Savage. And nobody does it better! OHHHH YEAH!

*As Savage finishes the top ten list, the live bands begins to play his theme again as the crowd applaud*

*David stands up and walks over to Macho Man and shakes his hand*

David Letterman: Well you have it ladies and gentlemen, we'll be right back after these messages.

*With those final words the screen fades out to black*

Randy Orton vs CM Punk

*Randy Orton pounds on the mat, stalking CM Punk. The crowd is on their feet for this great main event as Punk has no idea what's going on.*

Jim Ross: Orton's thinking RKO!

*Orton and Punk are both on their feet, Orton looking for the RKO, but suddenly -*

[???]

ATTENTION PLEASE.

*The crowd just pours heat as Cody Rhodes is seen on the stage. Randy Orton and CM Punk stop in their tracks and look up at Rhodes.*

[Cody Rhodes]
IT'S CLOBBERING TIME!

Jim Ross: What the hell?

*Rhodes drops the microphone as Punk and Orton stare at each other confused. As Cody keeps pushing down the ramp, Tyson Kidd, Brian Kendrick, and Chris Hero emerge from the crowd! They surround the ring as Orton and Punk get ready in the ring.*

Jim Ross: Uh-oh. This looks bad, Resistance like a wild pack of dogs!

*Cody hops on the apron and nods at everyone else. They all enter the ring, but Punk and Orton strike first! They take down Hero and Kidd, but Rhodes and Kendrick cheap shot them from behind. Cody pounds on Punk while Kendrick kicks Orton in the head. Kidd and Hero slide back in as Cody backs off. The three do all the damage then can to Orton and Punk as Cody watches on smiling.*

Jim Ross: Bah gawd! Somebody needs to stop The Resistance!

*The Resistance gets a bit cocky and they taunt to the crowd. This allows Orton and Punk to regroup, and they throw Kidd and Kendrick out of the ring! The crowd cheers as Hero turns around into a huge RKO!*

Jim Ross: Bah gawd they're fighting back!

*The crowd goes insane as Cody is trapped in the ring! Rhodes tries to leave, but Orton blocks off his path! The crowd cheers as Rhodes turns around, but Punk lifts him again! The crowd anticipates yet another G.T.S. to him, but Layla slides in the ring and smacks Punk in the back with her briefcase. The crowd boos as Orton rushes over to help, but is quickly jumped by the rest of The Resistance.*

Jim Ross: The number have finally caught up on Orton and Punk.

*Tyson picks up Orton and begins to hit shot after shot. Randy drops to a knee, and Tyson goes for a kick, but Orton grabs his foot! The crowd cheers as he goes for the RKO, but Kidd pushes him off into a Beautiful Disaster from Rhodes! The crowd boos as Orton tumbles to the floor on the outside.*

Jim Ross: Oh my god what a kick from Rhodes!

*Rhodes glances over to Punk and points at him. Hero and Kendrick walk over to him and stomp him into the corner. The crowd boos as suddenly Rhodes comes charging and hits a huge boot to the face! Punk hangs on the ropes while the crowd boos. Layla is seen on the outside and she slaps Punk right back into the ring!*

Jim Ross: Oh come on! That is just uncalled for!

*Rhodes sits over Punk and grabs him by the head. He hits multiple jabs into the skull before finally stomping his head into the mat. The crowd continues to boo as Chris Hero comes over and hits a huge elbow drop on Punk. Tyson Kidd comes over and locks Punk in the Full Nelson as Hero and Kendrick take turns punching him in the gut. Eventually Kendrick and Kidd hit a Superkick/Leg Sweep combo sending him to the floor. Chris goes to the outside and grabs a water bottle before leaning over Punk. Chris takes a sip of it before spitting right in Punk's face! Hero smirks before dumping the entire thing on Punk. Chris slaps Punk a few times as he uses the ropes for leverage to get up. As soon as he does, though, he gets hit by the rolling elbow!*

*Tyson Kidd is the next guy up is he grabs Punk by the tights. He gets a could grip on CM's shoulder before throwing him straight into the ring post! The crowd boos as Punk is left dangling in between the ropes. Kidd smiles before heading onto the apron, measuring Punk. He charges and kicks Punk's head right into the ring post! You can hear the thud, but there is rest for the weary as Kidd strikes Punk head again. He tosses him back into the ring, allowing Cody to go to the top rope. Rhodes scans the crowd for a moment before taking a huge leap and hitting the Moonsault on CM Punk! Punk holds his ribs as Tyson hits a huge springboard elbow drop! Kidd laughs before dragging Punk into the center of the ring. The crowd boos as Kidd locks in the Sharpshooter once more! Rhodes gets in Punk's face and taunts him, but is pulled out by Orton!*

Jim Ross: Cody is in for it now!

*Orton stalks Rhodes as he crawls backwards, trying to flee. Tyson tries to help Rhodes, but Randy turns around just at the right moment to hit a huge clothesline! The crowd cheers as he picks Kidd up and throws him off the announcers table, just missing JR! Hero and Kendrick then try to help Cody, but Orton grabs a chair and they stop dead in their tracks. Hero tries his luck anyway, and gets stabbed in the gut before Randy smashes it over his back! Orton has gone wild on The Resistance, brother. Randy eventually turns his attention back to Cody, who is now hiding behind the timekeepers barricade. He grabs him, but "The Dashing One" has lured him into a trap and smashes him with his protective mask!*

XWL Breakdown: 11/6/2011 - 11/13/2011 - Page 3 KqoCQ

*The crowd boos as Rhodes steps over Orton's lifeless body. He slides in the ring with Kendrick, despite Kidd and Hero being taken out. Punk had just gotten to his hands and knees, but that is stopped when Kendrick kicks him in the gut. Punks starts to cough as Kendrick picks him up. Kendrick whips him off the ropes, right into a bulldog from Rhodes. Cody does the same, but this time it leads into a dropkick from Kendrick. Cody than drags Punk over to the corner before stomping on his head again. He places him on the top rope before getting in the center. Kendrick ascends to the top; hitting a hurricanrana which is intercepted by Rhodes into a power bomb! Cody holds onto his legs before he starts to spin him around. Eventually he hits a catapult, which is intercepted by Kendrick leading into the Slice Bread! Punk is down on the mat as Kendrick flaunts around the ring.*

Jim Ross: Somebody get security out here!

*On that note, security and Mick Foley make their way out to the ring. Foley orders for security to stop this, but the five men are attacked by Chris Hero and Tyson Kidd! They throw the first two into the barricades and Layla takes one out with a low blow! Hero throws the fourth man into the steel steps and Tyson Kidd hits a DDT on the last guy! Foley gets involved himself, hitting multiple shots on Hero! He throws Hero head against the steel steps, but Tyson Kidd comes off the apron and connects with a giant kick to the skull! Foley is knocked out cold and he falls to the mat.*

Jim Ross: Things have gotten even worst! Who can stop these five?

*Back in the ring Kendrick and Rhodes keep on the assault to Punk. Hero and Kidd get back in the ring and the all circle Punk. CM gets to his knees as The Resistance swarms him. He is met with shot after shot until Kendrick nails a huge super kick! He falls into the arms of Rhodes and says "GO. TO. SLEEP!" He lashes him into the corner and he bounces off into a double DDT from Rhodes and Hero. Cody does a cut throat taunt and signals to finish him. He orders Layla to give him a chair, which she hands to Kendrick. Brian sets it up in the center of the ring as Cody drags him over there. He smiles before hitting a Cross Rhodes right onto the steel chair! It dents as Punk's lifeless body is left on it.*

Jim Ross: Oh my god! Look at this carnage! Randy Orton, security personal, Mick Foley, and the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk have been lade out via the hands of The Resistance!

*Layla slides back into the ring, this time with paper bag and world title in hand. Hero and Kidd pick up Punk as Rhodes bags his head. He throws Punk to the floor before taking the World Championship. Cody looks at before raising it high in the air, smiling. He drops it on Punk's stomach before standing tall with the rest of the Resistance. Rhodes gets down on his knees and looks down on Punk, mocking his "Go to Sleep" taunt; Breakdown goes off the air with the sound of disturbing laughter from Rhodes and the rest of the Resistance.*
