Following the commercial break, a video begins playing of the events that occurred between Eddie Guerrero and Alberto Del Rio. We see Eddie calling out Alberto, his car drives out, with the annoying horn sounding, then the numerous shocked filled fan faces are focused on as Ricardo Rodriguez steps out instead. Then the screen changes to a black and white effect for a second as Alberto attacks the unsuspecting Eddie from behind by slamming his arm against the mat. It goes back to the regular effect, then the screen shakes a bit as dark music plays in the background as Alberto snaps Eddie's arm over the ropes and smiling as Guerrero holds his arm in agony. We then cut then to the moment that Alberto issued his challenge to Eddie. "At November To Remember, you make your long awaited return to the ring, against me! " it then skips straight to the next line "Eddie, you chose to come back at my expense, and now I'm going to make a name for myself, at your expense! " boos are heard following his last statement, but it doesn't end there, we hear "By ending your career, permanently! It's nothing personal, it's just your destiny!" as Del Rio winks and the footage concludes and we're taken backstage where Alberto Del Rio is standing with a smug look on his face.



Mild boos from the live audience can be heard at the instant sight of him. The camera's focus then pans outward showing XWL interviewer Josh Matthews standing beside him.



Josh Matthews: Alberto, we just saw you savagely attack Eddie Guerrero, why did you do it? What has he done to make you do such a thing? It's not even about being a wrestler at that moment, because Eddie's been retired for years...A lot of people including myself just don't understand why you sadistically attacked him like you did.

Josh extends his microphone up towards Alberto's face, who just stares at him with an amused look on his face.



Alberto Del Rio: Why did I do it? The same could be said for Mr. Eddie Guerrero. Why did he choose to come back and interrupt me? Why did he marry such a porker of a woman? Or better yet, why is it such a crime that I attacked him, yet not one ounce of compassion went out to my ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez when Eddie attacked him in an uncalled for manner. I've got questions of my own, yet the only ones that are asked, are the ones that attempt at making me look like the bad guy. I'm not the one that lived his career by three dishonorable motos...Lying, cheating, and stealing...Three things that I have never, nor will ever follow. Yet I'm persecuted for giving Eddie a taste of his own bitter medicine? Is that really how a man of class is to be treated?

Josh Matthews: I don't know...

Before Josh can continue Alberto stops him.

Alberto Del Rio: Exactamente! You don't know, yet you know for a fact that what I did was such a crime? That my one attack on Eddie, was not provoked or to prove a point? A point of a bias between you and everyone else. What I did was get revenge, now if that makes me the bad guy, then what does that make Eddie? He struck the first blow, he attacked my employee, yet no repercussions were to be had...But I take matters into my own hands, and I'm persecuted for it?

Josh Matthews: I guess we just have different views on things.



Alberto Del Rio: Once again you're exactly right! There are different views, Eddie put himself in the position to be attacked, he could have kept playing shuffleboard or bingo at the retirement home, but instead he came out to that ring, struck me, and assaulted my ring announcer! I'm not the bad guy in this situation, but if people want to make into something that I am not, well then they need to take a good hard look in the mirror, and see themselves for not what they aren't, but what they are...Liars, hypocrites, bias outlaws...The list goes on, and the list is very honest...But that's not commended in the wrestling world now is it? An honest man is a man that is made out to be the villain in situations such as this. While the real malo de la película, is praised and rewarded!

Josh Matthews: Alright, so why did you challenge him to a match after attacking him? Why not just finish the job and then a match wouldn't be needed.

Alberto Del Rio: Because there was no job to be finished...What I did was merely a statement, it proved my point, you and others insist it was a bitter act of malice intent, yet Eddie's was not? I'm not the one that should be questioned, it's people like you that need to answer questions...What makes Eddie such an admirable man? Why do you choose to overlook the things he does, yet every little thing that I or someone else does is unfairly picked apart?

Josh Matthews: It's just comparing two different situations though...

Alberto Del Rio: ¿En serio? And what pray tell makes these situations differ so much?

Josh Matthews: Well Eddie hasn't been in a ring in so long, it's just unfair of you to attack an obviously rusty man.

Alberto Del Rio: See! That's my entire point, he chose to come out of a long retirement, he chose to strike me, and he chose to attack my ring announcer. No one made those decisions for him, it was all him, and he should have thought about the consequences of those decisions. If he's well enough to attack me or Ricardo, then he's well enough to be bitten by the karma mosquitoes that infest life. Karma, fate, destiny, it all falls under the same path, do good things like me, and good things happen. Do bad things, such as lying, cheating, and thieving, like Eddie, and bad things happen. After all of these years, Eddie's pushed his luck a little too far, karma has finally caught up with him, and it will not rest until he pays for all of his transgressions.

Josh Matthews: Anyways you have a match up next against Bryan Danielson, he ended Batista's very long winning streak last week, do you have any worries going into a match with another submission expert?

Alberto Del Rio: Ah, the man of a thousand name changes, honestly facing him doesn't phase me one bit...I'm the submission expert here, Daniel is just way out of his league, and he'll see by the time I'm done with him.

Josh Matthews: Alright back to this situation with Eddie...To me it just seems like an excuse...

Alberto Del Rio: An excuse? So you're saying a man that has lived his life going against the laws of right and wrong, would not have all of that come back to bite him in the end? He tempted fate a little too much, he left the business before his luck could run out, but now that he's returned, destiny has it's plans for him, and it involves me breaking that little arm of his and putting him back in the retirement home where he belongs! At November To Remember, you all will witness a night that no one will ever forget! Destiny's tab is due, and he's going to pay...The lying...The cheating...The stealing...He's going to regret it all, he's going to have every moment of those acts flash through his head as I'm tearing his arm apart, ligament, by ligament...He'll beg for mercy, but mercy's door is long closed...As I've said before, and I'll say it again, what I will do won't be personal, it's just destiny!



A grin forms on his face following his last statement before we fade out to a commercial break.

*Cody continues to make his way down to the ring to much heat. He climbs onto the apron before holding the rope up for Layla. He takes a microphone and enters the ring.*

Jim Ross: Looks like Cody has something to say or two.

Jerry Lawler: I'm deeply shocked and excited, JR.

Ladies and Gentlemen all eyes on me and ears on me please. Thank you very much. Now that I no longer have to share the spotlight with the insane General Manager Mick Foley, I have a few things to get off my chest. As you all know I am once again being force to compete and in a very dangerous match at The November to Remember pay per view. This time; it will be an Extreme Rules match against Mick Foley. Yet, being the fool that he is, Mick had to go on to add another ridiculous stipulation to our match. If he can somehow beat me on that very night; not only will Chris Hero and myself be out of jobs, but so will Layla, Tyson Kidd, and The Brian Kendrick! Can you people not see what Mick is doing to this company? He is firing people left and right like it is going out of style. How are we supposed to pay our bills or afford food? Mick is a heartless creature, and at November to Remember I will be forced to destroy him once and for all.

Now, also, there is another stipulation. Once I beat Mick Foley myself and Chris Hero will be granted contracts to return to this company. Yet, they will not be any ordinary contacts. We will have our own locker room, a easy working schedule, and a creative control clause. In case some of you don't know that last thing is, let me explain it to you. It is where I have power over my own matches. It is where all of Mick's decisions concerning me will have to be run by myself and I would have to approve of them in order for it to go into effect. It would also mean I would have a level of power that no other superstar in this company has. Mick will not longer be able to put my body in danger with is reckless decision making! No, my fate will be in my hands. I will no longer have to risk my lively hood for stupid and meaningless things. It would mark one step froward in removing Mick Foley from his undeserving spot of power.

Now, most people will instantly doubt my credibility for this match. They all like to think I'm not "extreme" enough to face Mick Foley in this kind of match. That just makes me laugh. Isn't that the same thing people said about my match with John Cena? Sure, I lost the match, but that was to do the conspiracy! I had Cena down with brutal shot after shot. How about when I handcuffed Cena to the ropes and gave him the beating of a lifetime? What about when I leaped over ten feet in the air and put Cena through the table with a Moonsault? Actually, I have a better example. Four months ago at Digital Decision I had a match with "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. This was no ordinary match, not it was an iron match. This was also a match where people gave me not even a single chance. People always talk about how he beat Bret Hart in the first ever Iron Man Match and my chances were down the toilet! Well guess what..... I defeated Shawn with a rather dashing Sweet Chin Music and Cross Rhodes combination.

What I'm saying is that I should not be doubted in this match. I think I have already proven I will do and risk anything for a shot at dethroning Mick Foley from power. I have to sacrifice my body to do what is right for this company and all of the guys in the back at November to Remember, I will do it. Now, I'm expecting Mick to bring out all his usual tools. I expect barb wire, thumbtacks, steel chairs, tables, kendo sticks, and hell, even fire. Just let it be known I am ready for anything that will be thrown at me in two weeks time, Mick. If you are going for an elbow drop, I will move out of the way. If you go for a double arm DDT, I will slip out and hit the Cross Rhodes. If you go for that vial and disgusting move known as the Mandible Claw with or without that dirt sock called "Mr. Socko"; I'll be sure to avoid it as much as possible.

*Suddenly, Cody mentions to Layla to give him the paper bag. The crowd boos as Layla hands it over. He stares at it, smirking. He raises the microphone again to speak.*

Does this ring a bell, Mick? I don't know if you could remember because I knocked you out cold last week with a Cross Rhodes much like a will at November to Remember. So why don't we take a look to refresh your memory?

*A reply is shown on the titantron of Cody Rhodes, Chris Hero, and Layla attacking Mick Foley at the end of the show last week. It closes with Cody bagging Foley with the three Resistance members laughing.*

And there we have it! Mick, that was only a sign of things to come. I promise you very soon that the paper bag with fall over you and your reign of terror as the Breakdown General Manager of Corruption. Let it be known I will take great and huge pride in being the man that ended Mick Foley's reign. Now, of course I want to give it up to my fellow Resistance members. Without their help none of this would and will never happen. This has been a team effort, and at November to Remember this will all pay off. Now, last week Mick Foley talked to me about "manning up." So, you know what, I'm going to ask Mick to come out. As long as he isn't hurt too bad, because we all k-



*The crowd pops as the theme of Mick Foley blasts over the PA System. Cody and Layla stand in shock, thinking Mick wouldn't be here tonight!*

Jerry Lawler: Finally, someone is coming out here to shut up him!

Jim Ross: Where is he, King?

*Another minute passes by and no sign of Foley. Eventually his theme stops and Cody and Layla are shown laughing in the ring. Cody raises the microphone and beings to speak.*

You all fell for it! What a bunch of idiots! This is just one of the..........








































*The crowd jump to their feet and let out a huge cheer as soon as the sound of CM Punk’s music can be heard. Punk walks out onto the stage with a smile on his face, he stops in the middle of the ramp to look around at the capacity audience. He then walks up the stairs before leaping onto the top rope, raising his arms in the air and screaming “Best in The World!” Punk then grabs a microphone and stands across from Cody, waving at him.*



[[Punk]]:: I hope you people aren’t disappointed, I know I’m no Mick Foley but I like to think I have my own personal qualities. Look what we have here, hi Cody! You seem surprised to see me; it’s unlike me to come over to Breakdown. Why oh why could I be here? Whatever could have brought me over to this show? Well for starters it’s not your personality, so we can scratch that from the list, what could it be? Wait, I think it’s coming to me now. That’s right; a little birdie told me about your little movement here Cody, your group of Superstars that are fighting management and in the process injecting some anarchy into XWL.



[[Punk]]:: Everyone is talking about this Cody, the whole World now has their eyes on you, hell you’ve even managed to catch my attention and that’s no easy feat. Believe it or not, I actually like what you’re trying to do over here. The idea is different, it’s interesting, but with that being said I do have one little problem with it. Where was my invitation? You seem to be fighting for change and that’s what I’m all about, I’m a little disappointed that I was overlooked when it came to this. Then again I suppose it’s a good thing that I was never confronted about being a member of this little group, because how would it look it the all-mighty Resistance got rejected by the World Heavyweight Champion?



[[Punk]]:: Like I said, I like “the idea”. However, you and all of your little mindless drones are going about it all the wrong way. If you want to make the management in this company change, then you’re going to have to step up your game. Last week was your big moment, the whole world was watching and how did you respond? Your very first act was locking Mick Foley inside his office… That’s gripping television I will admit, I can guarantee nobody saw that coming. Everybody, including myself was expecting you to do something that would change the face of this company; instead you let as all down. Which seems to be a huge problem in this company, everybody guarantees to make an impact and then when the cameras are finally on them and everyone has took notice, they let everybody down.



[[Punk]]:: It’s a hype thing Cody; you come out here week in and week out claiming you’re going to bring change, whilst hyping The Resistance. I get it, that’s what you have to do to make it in this industry. But when all is said and done Cody, can you and your cronies live up to that hype? Can you make good of all of your promises or will you fall short live every other hot topic? My personal opinion is that you will fail at your goal. Try not to take it personally that is just my views. I mean if you think about it, The Resistance is supposed to be this unstoppable force right? A group of superstars that won’t stop until they get what they want, I won’t deny it, it sounds good. But then you take a little look at the roster and it doesn’t quite scream “Unstoppable”.



[[Punk]]:: First you have Tyson Kidd, who hasn’t exactly achieved much with his career but he does have a claim to fame that he clings onto for dear life, as though he won’t obtain anything better. Firstly he was trained by Bret Hart, which is huge, being trained by “The Best There Is, The best There Was and The Best There Ever Will Be”. Now while we know that nickname isn’t true, Bret is most certainly one of the best. It’s just a shame that one of the best can’t produce the best. I give him credit, Tyson is a good athlete, but he is not exactly somebody you would want with you during a revolution. The fact that you have belief that he will be able to see it through to the end is idiotic, he may share your disagreements with management, but that is all he is good for. Tyson Kidd will be nothing more than an echo, to repeat what the other members have already said.



[[Punk]]:: Then we come to Spanky, who I will admit I am a fan of. When he was touring the World in the independent circuits nobody could deny that he was one of the best performers each and every night, he would even be able to give Bryan Danielson a run for his money. But with age his qualities have seemed to have disappeared into thin air, take a look at his last major run in this company. He drugged Triple H, won the World Championship and then got kicked out of the company for being on drugs himself… You do know how to pick them Cody I will give you that, why don’t you bring in Jeff Hardy while you’re at it? How can you be so sure that Spanky has any idea what’s going on around him? As far as you know, he could think he’s on some psychedelic trip and you could be the Easter bunny. There is no way you could know and because of that, I wouldn’t expect Kendrick to be a major threat to this company.



[[Punk]]:: Now we come to Chris Hero. Who has been a threat in every company he has been involved in. He has won Championships in ROH, NJPW, PWG, hell he was the only person o hold the European Championship in SOOL. Nobody can deny the man has had success, everywhere except here. Maybe I’m just being a bit harsh and not giving him time to get comfortable and get into his stride. But it seems to me that he could’ve put a lot of this time spent whining about XWL Management, to try and climb the ladders and earn himself a Title shot. I could see why you want him around, I could see how we could potentially help in any situation. But in my honest opinion, if it’s not the Kings of Wrestling, I don’t see Hero giving it his all.



[[Punk]]:: Then we come to Layla…. Moving on…. Oh it’s not because you’re a diva, it’s because the things I have to say aren’t exactly the nicest of things and I fear the guy’s hand who works the beep machine in the back can’t move fast enough. So I’m just going to skip right on ahead to you, the fearless leader Cody Rhodes. You have my attention, for one good reason. You remind me of me, when I wanted something I didn’t give up after I didn’t get it. I was persistent in achieving my goal and because of that I am standing before you as World Champion. You seem to have that quality, but with one difference that makes it all redundant. Where I would go out and take what I wanted, you seem perfectly content with standing in the middle of this ring, bitching and moaning, and bitching, and bitching, and bitching, and bitching, and bitching, and bitching until you get what you want. Now that’s not a person I would put my faith in, I would put my faith in somebody who would be willing to do literally anything to obtain his goal. Not a person who wears a mask to hide his face, yet the mask itself is see through, talking through his nose, crying night in and night out little bitch!

Wait a minute, who are you to downgrade me for standing in this ring and talking and as you claim "bitching?" Let me take you back, Punk. All the back to this past summer, July to be exact. I think you were the one was bitching and moaning. You came here week after week and talked down to all of this hideous and disgusting creatures in the crowd and watching at home. Hell, even even decided to boycott the up coming pay per view, Digital Decision. You try and act like a man, but the fact is on that night you were nothing except a coward! I was actually out there that night sacrificing myself in an IRON MAN match against Shawn Michaels. Then, for that World Heavyweight Champion you boost about? You stole that right from under Dwayne's nose. The fact is you would not be standing here tonight with the title unless it was for Ted DiBiase and Chris Jericho screwing him over in that Elimination Chamber match! In fact, I think if they hadn't done that, Dwayne would have shoved his boot straight up your candy ass.

Now, secondly, you want to talk about doing stuff? Look, Punk, I have stirred up more controversy in one night than you have in an entire year. By the way I can see you and Mick have a lot in common! The Resistance single handily took over Breakdown in ONE night last week, and at November to Remember I will seal the deal when I defeat Mick Foley. Now, as for you, what did you exactly do? Oh, that's right, you cheeped your way right through the King of the Ring. Big congrats there, Punk, you beat Evan Bourne. Of course later that night you tried to cost Dwayne the title, but that's not the issue you did that a month later. Now, when I finally get a shot at Chris Jericho's World Championship, and it's going to be Chris because let's be honest you're here this week because you're too afraid to face him like a man. Anyways, I am going to do it the way you could never do it. I am going to do it like a man. I am going to do it, the dashing way!


[Cody Rhodes]
Let me tell you something else, I lead by example unlike you. For the past six months I've done everything I said I could do without Mick Foley screwing me over. I have beaten all the legends from Shawn Michaels to John Cena, and I've beaten all the scum like Mark Henry and Dolph Ziggler. Punk, you are making a very bad decision for yourself right now. You are underestimating The Resistance. What we did to Heath Slater, Hurricane, and Mick Foley last week was the beginning of the end. John Morrison had just suffered the consequences at the hands of Tyson Kidd earlier, and I can assure you that you will have the same fate if you continue to run your mouth. You know what, you can run your mouth about us all you want. You can predict we won't be successful, you can poke fun at us, but I know why you're doing this. You're jealous. You're jealous your little group, The Straight Edge Society, went no where. Do you guys remember all the members in it? I bet you do, all two of them! CM Punk and Luke Gallows. Now, what exactly did you two do? Oh, that's right, get your ass kicked by Stone Cold week in and week out.

You want to say I'm not willing to do what ever it coasts for my cause? You do sound a lot like Mick Foley, John Cena, Randy Orton, and everyone else. The fact is two weeks ago a put my life on the line in that Last Man Standing match at the Monster Bash. And it wasn't just there. I have been put through tables, smacked with cheers, dropped fifth teen in the air, I've been thrown off a staircase onto a car, and I've been thrown out of the building by all the blind people in the back who riskily follows Mick Foley and his dictatorship. I will not rest until Mick Foley is out of power, and until all the non-believers are allowed to take the paper bag off their hideous faces and finally open their eyes. Also, Punk, I think it's time I finally remove the paper bag from your head and open your eyes. Punk, I think it's time that I finally.....

*Cody tries to continue speaking, but Punk lowers Rhodes' mic. The crowd bursts out laughing as he makes a "SSH" sign with his finger. Cody is enraged as he raises his microphone.*

*The crowd boos as Punk laughs at Rhodes' anger. He quickly stops laughing though and puts on a straight, yet sarcastic, face.*

[[Punk]]:: You think you would learn from Vickie Guerrero and realise that doesn’t work. Seeming as these people don’t seem to want to hear your monotone voice anymore, I think I shall save them and interject. First of all I want to say that I am familiar with my history, you don’t have to remind me of things I have done. Yes, I was the guy that came out here and claimed I am better than everybody and the fact remains that I have yet to be proven wrong. I used to talk down to everybody, I acted as though as was holier than thou, but do you want to know why I gave that up Cody? It was because it was getting old, half the roster was coming out here doing the same thing I was.



[[Punk]]:: I quickly realised that it became boring for everybody to see, so I made a change and made it my mission to make this company exciting again. Sure, I boycotted Digital Decision but for one good reason Cody, to make everyone take notice of CM Punk. Nobody expected me to interrupt Dwayne that night and when I did all eyes were on me, I let my voice be heard and I stated that I was going to become the World Heavyweight Champion. Then, with everybody watching, I made good on my promises and became World Heavyweight Champion. You can claim it was due to Dwayne being eliminated by Jericho, but riddle me this, if that’s the case how did I ever manage to defend my Championship against him at Monsters Bash?



[[Punk]]:: You can claim to be this and that Cody, but at the end of the day you’re nothing but a drama queen. You say you sacrificed yourself in an Iron Man match and that you put your life on the line in a Last Man Standing match. Well boo hoo, you’re a Wrestler you moron it’s expected of you. Maybe if you didn’t want to be in those types of matches, you wouldn’t rustle everybody’s feathers. Then maybe, just maybe they wouldn’t be looking to take you out permanently. Everything that has happened to you Cody, you have brought on yourself. You can claim that management is out to get you and that there is some kind of conspiracy in the works, but the truth is you have nobody to blame but yourself.



[[Punk]]:: But now you have a feeling that you’re better than everybody else. Despite having no reason to do so, apart from beating all of the legends like you have claimed to do. You have defeated legends like Shawn Michaels and John Cena, John Cena is hardly a legend but hey it’s your claim to fame, who am I to take that away from you? That’s an impressive list Cody, in 6 months you have managed to be two people of worth. Now let me tell you what I have been doing for the past six months. I have defeated the former World Champion Jeff Hardy in his trademark TLC match, I have defeated the former World Champion Chris Jericho to continue in the King of the Ring tournament, I have defeated the former World Champion Evan Bourne to become King of the Ring and then I went onto win the World Heavyweight Championship and then defend it against the former World Champ, Dwayne Johnson.



[[Punk]]:: You see, while you were defeating two people of worth and “scum” as you like to refer to the other, I was defeating World Champions on a weekly basis. I have defeated Edge, Hardy, Jericho, Bourne, Dwayne, I have beaten them all and proved that I am the best out of the bunch. But I guess they don’t compare to Mark Henry right? You see it’s easy to pick certain parts out of anybody’s history and compare them to your own to make yourself look good. But when the rest of that story comes out, you look nothing more than a pathetic fool, who is clutching at straws and hoping, just hoping that they will one day become relevant. Well I hate to tell you this Cody, but you’re not yet relevant in this company or this industry. For now, you’re still known as the son of Dusty Rhodes and the brother of Goldust.



[[Punk]]:: I want to point out something else you said, that I’m jealous that the Straight Edge Society will never compare to the almighty Resistance. You sure know how to hit me where it hurts Cody, the SES obviously fails in comparison because there were only two members. This might sound like a flashback to you Cody, but it’s not the size that counts. Despite only having two members, we made everything we did entertaining. It may have only been myself & Luke Gallows, but I knew I could trust him, he was a personal friend of mine. Can you say that Cody? No, you can’t. What you have is a thrown together stable of disgruntled employees who are looking for power and where are they eventually going to turn to get that power? To the pack leader, once they realise they could take your spot and have the run of the place, your idea will be over as quickly as it started. What you believe to be an iconic movement that you have started, will eventually destroy itself from the inside.

Here we go again, folks! CM Punk has one again doubted myself and The Resistance. You want to say I can't trust my fellow crusaders? You know why we joined together as this united front in the first place? It was because when we were by ourselves we were out spoken. Our voices weren't heard. No one gave a damn about us and Mick Foley continued to ruin our careers. Together, Mick can not do that. Together nothing can penetrate us. We have more of a bond than you and Luke will ever have. You want to make claims that soon we will all be enemies? Guess what, Punker. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. You can be like all the other creatures and continue to doubt us, but soon enough you will believe, Punk. Mark my words, you will believe in the power of the Resistance sooner than you expect.

Now, Punk you can be smug about beating PAST world champions all you want. Hell, I admit beating Chris Jericho, Evan Bourne, Jeff Hardy, and The Rock is an impressive list, maybe even more impressive one than mine. Yet, the fact remains they are the past. You wouldn't hear guys come out here now and boost about beating Ricky Steamboat or Hulk Hogan, right? They are all the past, and you, Punk? You're the present. You're the face of this company. You see your name in the stars and you carry around the title as your big gold trophy. The fact is Punk, everything in the present dies in the future. The Resistance might not be forever, but neither is CM Punk. Neither is the great and almighty CM Punk World Heavyweight Championship reign. All of that will come to an end and die in the future. And do you know what the future is? The future is me. The future is Cody Rhodes. You know what else is the future? CM Punk laying on the mat with Cody Rhodes basking in glory with the World Heavyweight Championship.

Wait, what did you say before? I will forever be the son of Dusty Rhodes and the brother of Goldust? Of course I will, but that will not be my title. My family has a great history in this business, but what they are missing is that one World Championship. I am going to bring the gold to Rhodes name, Punk. I would like to think I have already broken the shell of that title, but obviously with moronic fools like you running around gloating, you can forget. You just need to open you eyes. You need to see the light as you used to say. You also need to shut your mouth for once and let go of your grip on the past. You can hold on to the feeling that the world revolves around CM Punk and that you in fact are "The Best in the World", but sooner or later you will have to face reality. Reality is The Resistance. I can promise you that one year from this date, CM Punk will not be standing before us as the World Champion. You will not be "The Best in the World." You will just be the fool with a ridiculous hair style. One year from now DASHING CODY RHODES will be standing here in the spotlight. The stage will be mine and The Resistance, Punk. I will be the World Heavyweight Champion, and you need to get that through your sick skull.

You know what else you need to get through your head? You're not a messiah. You're not the man of the people as you think you are. You are CERTAINLY not the best in the world. The Resistance is not only fighting Mick Foley and his injustice ruling, we're fighting people like you. People like The Rock. People like John Cena. People like Chris Jericho. People that refuse to let go of the spotlight. The ones who have to hold onto the torch and will sacrifice everyone else below them as long as they don't have to pass it on. It is people like you who will do anything for money, spotlight, and power. It's a shame that all of these people can't see through the flurry of lies that guys like you pump out week after week. I guess your skull is so thick and your talk is just as thick so that people can't see through them. It is time that the Revolution expands against people like CM Punk and Mick Foley. It is time that it is a safe and fair environment to work in. We all have a passion, but people like you and Mick cripple us over and over to the point of no return. It is time the "Dark Age' comes to an end and the light spreads. The bright white light known as The Resistance.



[[Punk]]:: Your threat right now just pointed out your huge downfall Cody. You stand that and say that eventually my reign as Champion will come to an end, it seems you’re still allowed to state the obvious while being a fearless leader. Of course it will eventually end, nothing lasts forever and you seem to have a shed of sense to realise that The Resistance will never last forever. But then you go onto say that next year, CM Punk will no longer be the World Heavyweight Champion, might I remind you they said the exact same thing to Shawn Michaels with the Intercontinental Championship. But not only that, also that CM Punk will no longer be known as the “Best in the World”. Next year we will see Cody Rhodes as World Champion, well that’s your problem Cody. You say I like to clutch onto my past achievements? That may very well be, but you seem to live in the future. You’re making all these claims that are EVENTUALLY going to happen and I want to know why you’re not making your plans for now, this year, this month, maybe even tonight.



[[Punk]]:: Maybe you’re right, maybe in a year you will be World Champion. But we don’t live in the future Cody, we’re in the present. Where as far as I’m concerned I am the World Heavyweight Champion and by god, I am the “Best in the World”. You say you’re fighting for change, that Mick Foley needs to see the error of his ways and change. But the only people that seem to benefit from this change are you and your sheep. You’re not fighting for anybody but yourselves, you can claim that you’re doing it for everybody in the back, but everyone can see that the claim is nothing more than a lie, a façade, a fake because we know the people involved too well. You all feel overlooked and I can understand that, I was in the very same position a few months ago, so I started to cause some chaos of my own and look where that got me. My actions are the success story that you can only wish to emulate and time can only tell if they can work out for you.



[[Punk]]:: I want to ask you something. If you miraculously cause this company to change, how long do you believe it will last for? No matter who is in charge, they’re going make decisions that are not to the benefit of everybody on the roster. Then what huh? Are we going to have another repeat of this? Each and every time someone makes a bad decision, are we going to be seeing more of the same? If you somehow make change, it will be a note worthy accomplishment, but like you said yourself, nothing lasts forever. You seem so blinded by your “Crusade” that you’re living in a World of contradiction. You say Mick Foley is making this an unsafe working environment and your way of tackling that is by assaulting members of the roster. Makes sense right? You’ve even just said to me that I will not be relevant in the future, but tell me, what does that mean for the fearless leader Cody Rhodes?



[[Punk]]:: You claim that you’ll be a World Champion, but while you’re making your plans for the future World Championship reign, you seem to be forgetting the most important thing and that’s making strides to accomplish that task. The World is watching you Cody, but apposed to making an impact, you chose to tell them you’re going to make an impact, somewhere in the near future. Each and every time you do that Cody, each time you do that Cody, that torch that you want passed becomes dimmer and dimmer, until eventually it burns out. What then Cody? What is your emergency plan for when people stop caring about The Resistance, when people stop caring about Cody Rhodes? Let’s face it, it’s only a matter of time before the attention you’ve gathered moves onto the next “big thing”, but will The Resistance have done enough by that time to remain relevant? Or will all of the members just fade into obscurity like we have seen in the past with these stables. That will mean there will be no change, but more importantly, that will mean no World Heavyweight Championship for Cody Rhodes. The question is how exactly will everything play out? I can’t claim I know, because unlike some I can’t see into the future. But maybe I’m wrong, maybe all of this future planning is all smoke and mirrors and there is some hidden plan in the works, who knows? All I know is if you continue on your same route of future planning, all of your hopes and dreams will go up in smoke and I will personally be there to tell you I told you so.


[Cody Rhodes]
Don't you worry about me, Punk. I'm all booked up tonight. Tonight DH Smith will hit a Cross Rhodes and I will show him that his former partner Tyson Kidd has ended up in a much better position. Next week? Well, next week I face Ted DiBiase and Randy Orton in a triple threat match. The very match where I get to show what exactly what is in store for the future when I defeat both Randy Orton and Ted DiBiase. The past and the present. Now, you want to challenge me to make an impact? I also thought that last week destroying Mick Foley and taking over Breakdown was big enough, but I guess it wasn't. I guess tonight The Resistance will have to make an even bigger impact as you dare as too. Also, I wouldn't worry about The Resistance not being relevant anytime soon. We will be here until Mick Foley is gone and nothing will stop us. Not John Cena and not you, CM Punk. Tonight, I want you to go out there and put on the best damn match that you can against Randy for all of these hideous and bagged creatures. Give all you got into your match tonight, Punk, because you shouldn't be worrying about me. You shouldn't be worrying about The Resistance. Hell, you shouldn't even worry about Randy Orton. The only person you should worry about, Punk, is yourself.

*Cody drops the microphone and smirks as CM Punk has a bit of a confused expression on his face. Rhodes suddenly goes for a cheap shot, but Punk ducks and grabs Cody! He lifts him onto his shoulders, and G.T.S.!*



*Rhodes lays flat out on the mat while Punk smiles. He waves goodbye as Layla tries to wake Cody up. He blows her a kiss before picking up his title and stepping out of the ring.*

Jerry Lawler: Well, that backfired, JR!

J.R: You're right about that King! I have a feeling Cody and Layla won't let this go, though.

Jerry Lawler: That's the future, JR, and right now is the present as Punk said! And in the present, Cody just got knocked out! I love it!



*Punk walks to the back before glancing over his shoulder. He smirks as he still sees Cody on the mat with Layla trying to get up. He shakes his head and continues walking up as Breakdown fades to a break.*

*We return from a commercial break for ”Saints Row: The Third.” We are brought to the backstage area where Matt Striker is standing alongside Randy Orton, the fans greet Orton with cheers.*



[Matt Striker] Ladies and Gentlemen, here I am with Randy Orton. Now, Randy. Last week you and Batista both pulled the wool over the eyes of everyone! You and Batista put on the act of you having problems together, leading to the both of you costing Christian his Intercontinental Championship Match! Would you care to shed some light on this situation?



[Randy Orton] Well, it's very simple Matt. Batista and I both agreed that there was no way in hell that Christian deserved that Title match, as much as I like Mick Foley that was a bad call on his part. Don't worry Mick, we're still on good terms. I'm not planning on forming any secret groups to single you out or anything.. Everyone makes mistakes, Mick. But that also includes Christian, he made the mistake of believing the little thing that Dave and I set up. We knew that if we led people to believe that we had hatred towards each other that Christian, being his selfish self would just forget about us and go on as normal with his title match. I would never turn my back on these fans like that, I can assure you on that. So just to clear things up, I have no problem with Dave at all. We're on the same page and we set up that trick last week to give Christian what he deserves. Nobody should get their way by whining and complaining, and trust me, we all know that's what Christian does week in and week out.

[Matt Striker] Well he did more then that tonight, he took out his own Problem Solver, Mark Henry! I think that you costing him the title has made him go off the deep end, what do you think about that?



[Randy Orton] If anyone knows what it's like to “go off the deep end” or lose your temper, it's me. If Christian wants to try and fight fire with fire then he can go right ahead because the consequences will not be good on his part. Honestly he was just doing himself a favour, him taking out Mark Henry was him taking down his barrier. Taking out the person that he hid behind, he used Mark Henry and took his title like the coward that he is. But now that Mark Henry is finally out of the equation.. He's got no-one to turn to, all that's left is for him to eventually face me. I don't care if he's going to be more angry, or if he'll suddenly think he can take me on just because he showed some balls for the first time in his life. No matter what, Christian can not beat me. Christian being the X-Treme Champion right now might not be such a bad thing, ever since I lost my Intercontinental Title I've been itching for some gold around my waist again. Maybe November To Remember is just the right time for that?

[Matt Striker] I'm just saying, Christian seems like a really dangerous man at the moment..



[Randy Orton] If Christian wants dangerous, then he's got dangerous. All of what you've seen recently, the match at The Monster Bash, the RKO last week, I will do anything to take Christian out. You might have thought that was dangerous, but it can always be turned up a notch.. No amount of chair shots to Mark Henry is going to set in a single ounce of fear in my body. He can bring all the weapons he wants, titles he wants, but all in all when we face again it will be one result and one result only. RKO, 1, 2, 3. It's that simple, that's all it comes down to. I'm growing tired of his charades, I think the time is coming to put a permanent end to Christian's XWL career.. as soon as possible. For all he's put me through I think it's the least I can give him.

[Matt Striker] Moving swiftly on, tonight you face the World Heavyweight Champion; CM Punk. *Fans are heard cheering at the mention of Punk's name.* This has been a match that has been anticipated highly, how do you feel going into your match tonight?



[Randy Orton] I've been anticipating this match myself for quite some time, for a long time Punk has talked a big talk but he has proved that he can back up his words. We had a sketchy history before but he seems to be on the right track. He had a little confrontation with Cody Rhodes earlier tonight and I must say, thank you CM Punk. Thank you for shutting up Cody Rhodes, ever since Cody started picking on a much older man then him he feels like such a big man. It was nice to see him get taken down a peg or two tonight. But tonight isn't about Cody Rhodes, tonight isn't about The Resistance, as much as they want it to be. Tonight is about Randy Orton and CM Punk, going toe to toe in the main event of BreakDown. You and I have a long history and I admit that you're a favoured opponent of mine, but you know better then anyone else. Now that you're the World Champion, you have that target on your back. I've been in your shoes before, I know what it's like. Everyone's gunning for you and tonight is no different, I'm going to be giving you my absolute best tonight. I expect no less from you as well.

[Matt Striker] You seem to have a strong hatred for The Resistance, I don't blame you. Next week you face off with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, could I have your thoughts on each of these superstars?



[Randy Orton] Trust me Matt, it's not just me. Every one of the boys in the back share the same feelings towards The Resistance. As far as Cody Rhodes goes he's the worst. Ever since people like Chris Hero and Cody Rhodes started picking on Mick Foley it made me sick to my stomach. Before you go out and call me such a hypocrite, I've been down that road. I've had my share of wars with Mick Foley, we hated each others guts. But now we have a friendship that's built on respect, that's something that each and every one of The Resistance members need to figure out. If you have such a gripe with this company, don't take it out on the man who is just doing his job. Try pick on someone who is on the roster.. try pick on someone who is contracted to wrestle.. try pick on someone like me. Cody Rhodes said he's going to defeat myself and Ted and I have never heard such an untrue statement, whether it's Ted or whether it's me. Cody Rhodes will not win next week, I can guarantee it. Now speaking of Ted, I find he's a lot like me. He used to be this young brash kid who the fans hated, and he loved it. But sooner or later he saw what was true in this business and he's on the right track, he's a changed man for the better just like I am. I have the upmost respect for him, but that doesn't change a thing in the ring. Just like CM Punk I expect the very best of Ted DiBiase, and I will give him no less.

[Matt Striker] Well, thank you very much for your time Randy. Best of luck tonight.

*Matt Striker extends his hand, Orton accepts it and shakes it. Orton then nods at the camera and walks out of sight. We then head to a commercial for an epic Irish show which none of you apart from Alan and Reece know of.*

XWL Breakdown returns from a commercial break and we immediately go ringside to JR & King

King: Ladies and gentlemen, Breakdown has been explosive thus far, and we're going to take a quick break from that with a very special interview.

JR: That's right, the Miss money in the bank, Layla, stopped by the WKQQ station for a radio interview early this morning, and our XWL camera crew showed up just in time to get the whole thing on video. So with that said let's go to that now.

The screen then fades out until the video begins playing and a radio host is the first thing we see.



Dead Air Dennis: 100.1, WKQQ, dead air Dennis, and with me in the studio is the one and only Layla. She's a diva for the XWL wrestling company, and from what I hear she could kick anyone's butt at a moments notice!

We see Layla lightly chuckling then she smiles



Layla: Hi Dennis, and how are you?

Dead Air Dennis: I'm sitting across from the definition of the word beauty, I'm doing just great!

Layla: Aww, you're so sweet, my view isn't too bad either.

Dead Air Dennis: Oh stop it my wife's going to kill me when she hears this. So anyways let's tell our listeners about you shall we? You're an XWL diva, and you've got that nifty little briefcase over there which I understand gives you a title shot at any time of your choosing? Wow now that must be nice.

Layla: That's right, I hold an opportunity that pretty much grants me my moment of becoming Divas Champion whenever I decide to cash this in.

Dead Air Dennis: And what did you do to get such an opportunity? I imagine it can't be easy to get a hold of what seems to be the holy grail in XWL.



Layla: Not easy at all, actually it's funny because I was in the original match this case was a prize in, and due to some cheating I came up short. But I did not let that get me down, I worked harder than any other diva in this company and it all paid off for me. The original winner tried to rid me from XWL, but the irony of it is that she ended up ridding herself, of course she had a little bit of help from me.

She lightly laughs.

Dead Air Dennis: Wow it's just so amazing how someone as pretty as you can be so feisty too.

Layla: Don't let this sweet exterior fool you, under this gorgeous face, and behind these stunning eyes lies a chick that can hang with and outshine the best of them.

Dead Air Dennis: One again ladies and gentlemen, with me in the studio is XWL diva, Layla. Layla, tell me about XWL? What sets it apart from other companies? What makes this place the best?

Layla: For starters it has me on their roster and well, do you need any other reason other than that? But seriously it's so entertaining in every way, that's what people want when they watch wrestling. They don't want boring personalities and a stale product, and XWL never has any of that. We've constantly got new supers being made every day and an ever so changing product. I mean just recently myself, Cody Rhodes, Tyson Kidd, The Brian Kendrick, and Chris Hero all went against the grain and formed the biggest stable in XWL history.

Dead Air Dennis: Wow that sounds exciting!

Layla: Oh believe me it is, but it's not without cause. We're not just disgruntled workers, we've got a purpose that will be heard, and will be rectified.

Dead Air Dennis: Tell me though, if you've all got a problem with XWL, why are you there?



Layla: Our problem isn't with XWL, it's with one man, one man that refuses to show us the respect we're in entitled to. Breakdown General Manager, and "legend" Mick Foley constantly abuses his powers and we're sick of it. We won't just pack our bags and leave, we shouldn't have to.

Dead Air Dennis: Well then it sounds like you're all doing a very noble thing.

Layla: It is, some people see it as complaining, but it's not that at all. We've got a purpose, we all came together to right the wrong in the managerial position that Mick Foley has. I mean a clear example is most recently what he did to me.

Dead Air Dennis: For our listeners that don't know, what is it that he did?

Layla: Obviously I'm quite the amazing diva, from looks, to talent, to impressive wins. Well we had this woman that had one too many screws loose and I beat her one on one, with her own signature move at that. Mick Foley then makes me face her in a rematch in a match that had no rules...She literally could do anything and I was helpless. This woman once ended a career before, it was just uncalled for. She managed to pull off a victory ending my very long winning streak and then when I come out to complain and rightfully so...Mick Foley doesn't fire her, he instead rewards her and punishes me...He not only put my money in the bank contract on the line, he put my job as a Breakdown diva, and my lively hood on the line as well. He booked us in the first ever hell in a cell match in the history of wrestling that involved women!

Dead Air Dennis: Wow that sounds horrible.




Layla: It was, there's a reason why women never were in that type of match before, and to make matters worse, he appointed himself as the special referee for that match. He not only had no right to go outside his jurisdiction, but he abused that position as well. During the match he'd randomly pull me away from her, yet when she would attack me like a mad woman he didn't do anything. The final straw had to be what happened mid ways in the match though, I had just evaded Mickie's dive off the top, and she was out...I could have easily gotten a three count then, but what did Mick Foley do? He shoved me aside, and called for medical attention, did I get attention when I was thrown off the top and through an announcer's table? I don't think so... Anyways I tried to get at her anyways and he dragged me by my arms away from the medics, while Mickie was getting up and pounced on me with all of her weight! My ankle buckled under me and I was injured that very moment, because Mick Foley stuck his nose where it didn't belong, I couldn't protect myself. While I may have won that match, and he had no choice but to count the three, he still abused his position of power, and that's when we had had enough.

Dead Air Dennis: Just tell me where to sign up because after hearing that story, I think my listeners will agree, I'm on your side. It sounds like he did abuse his position and someone as sweet as you did not deserve that.

Layla: Thank you really, I hate it had to come to this, but between him putting his hands on Cody and myself, and making an unsafe working environment, or by not giving Kendrick or Kidd the title shots they clearly deserve, or by firing one of the most talented men in XWL today, Chris Hero...It's time we take a stand for this injustice that's going on and we're going to. Last week was just the beginning, it's not just about us, it's about everyone. To anyone that's ever been mistreated, or abused by a higher power, we're doing this for them. We're not the villains, we're the unlikely heroes.


Dead Air Dennis: Again everyone, in the studio with me is XWL diva, Layla, she's told us about her accomplishments, and her struggles, and I've just got to say I admire a woman with such an outlook. So tell me what's going on tonight?

Layla: Breakdown, which is the brand I'm on, is visiting Colorado Springs tonight. It's located on the southern end of the Colorado Springs business district, adjacent to exit 138 on Interstate 25 near Circle Drive and Venetucci Boulevard. We've got Randy Orton, Christian, Batista, The Rock, and the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk appearing so it's got all the star quality you could ask for! Plus Cody Rhodes, myself, Brian Kendrick, Chris Hero, and Tyson Kidd will all be appearing, sadly due to my grade two high ankle sprain I will not be in action but you'll still see me in some capacity.

Dead Air Dennis: That does sound like a really good time to be had tonight at Breakdown.

Layla: Oh it will be, our main-event is Randy Orton taking on CM Punk in a non-title match, so you don't wanna miss it.

Dead Air Dennis: So I'm wondering, every fan has their favorite, so I'm sure you have to have one too, who is your favorite superstar?

Layla: Oh, yeah, you know it's just not possible to pick. They're all so great, that's what makes XWL stand out from the rest. We've got the most talented superstars in the world and it's just impossible to pick just one.

Dead Air Dennis: So I understand you have quite the big show coming up next week?

Layla: That's right, next week in Jacksonville Florida, XWL will host the Slammy awards which is a night where superstars and divas are all awarded for their hardwork.

Dead Air Dennis: That sounds like quite the concept, what kind of awards will we be seeing?



Layla: Just off the top of my head we've got superstar of the year, diva of the year, and match of the year too.

Dead Air Dennis: If it helps you're so my pick for diva of the year.

Layla: Oh thank you Dennis, that's very sweet of you, last years winner was my best friend Michelle McCool, so it'd be amazing to win it too.

Dead Air Dennis: So that'll be in Jacksonville then?

Layla: Yes, it'll be at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, tickets are sold out, so if you didn't get a ticket you're going to miss out on a huge show.

Dead Air Dennis: Seem like it, do you know of any matches that people will see at such a huge show?

Layla: Let's see, The Resistance's leader, Cody Rhodes, will take on two third generation wrestlers, Randy Orton, and Ted DiBiase. All three have wrestling literally flowing through their blood, it's a must see match. Also appearing will be all of the top superstars, of course the names just listed, and The Rock, CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Christian, Batista, Justin Gabriel, John Cena, gosh there's just too many to list..

Dead Air Dennis: Sounds like the Jacksonville natives are in for quite the treat next week.

Layla: Next week will be huge, superstars and divas being presented prestigious Slammy awards, exciting match-ups, it's going to have it all and you really don't want to miss it.

The reason why I took out Mark Henry is because he failed. He failed me! He was not able to protect me from Batista and Randy Orton! I'm the reason why Mark Henry was on the top of the mountain, I brought him there and I shoved him off again! Without my help Mark Henry would be nothing but a big fat slow ass with no accomplishments! I'm sure Mark Henry regrets his decision, right now, I gave him a concussion and for those who don't know yet I also took away the only thing that he can remembered for, and that's being the X-Treme Champion! There won't be co-holding any longer, ladies and gentlemen! The Championship will be held by one man. It will be held by the man who should be holding the Intercontinental Champion too! And that's me! Christian is the X-Treme Champion and I'm never losing this Title!

*Christian looks at the crowd as they boo him once again. Then Christian turns his attention to the stage.*

*Christian takes a few steps back waiting for Batista to enter the arena.*







*As Batista’s theme hits the fans rise to their feet cheering for Mr. Money in the Bank!
He doesn’t perform his usually entrance but instead just walks straight down to the ring with a more serious look on his face.*



*As he enters he picks up a mic which was laying down on one of the seats. He picks it up and then looks around as a few Batista chants can be heard throughout the crowd.*

Christian I couldn’t help overhear while I was in the back about you going on and on about Mark Henry and just talking him down like he was nothing. Now I knew this little thing between you and him would just spiral out of control sooner or later but as I said earlier it came a little earlier than I expected. You see just like Randy said earlier you now have no where to hide, you’ve let down your barrier protecting you that you could just run behind and when you’re dealing with a man like Randy well lets just say that’s not always the best idea. Now I don’t know what’s your problem because I have actually opted to stay out and let you two fight one on one, now that Mark is out of the picture Randy dosen’t need me to help him fight his own battles. He’s a big boy now and can handle himself against a stumpy little Canadian like yourself. Now you called Mark Henry a big fat slow ass? But the fact is everytime danger was near you would hide behind him and I’m sure you wasn’t saying crap like that when you and him made that little deal.

Christian you are nothing more than a whiney little bitch. That is exactly why me and Randy did what we did last week. We both agreed you could not be a champion and well we still feel that. So don’t get too comfortable with that X-treme title there because it won’t last long. I hear Randy’s got his eyes set on taking it from you and well we all know what that means…RKO. Now don’t look so scared Christian, I can see it in your eyes, you look a little nervous. C’mon now that can’t be true can it? You’re nervous of a guy who you have said you are going to take out? I mean really?
Now Christian don’t get me wrong, you did take out Henry and give him a concussion but me and Randy we aren’t like Mark Henry. You caught him off guard whereas with us it’s been the other way around. Last week me and Randy we gave you a false sense of confidence going into your title match, we wanted you to think you actually stood a small chance of going against Wade. Now I don’t mean to toot my own horn here or anything but only a small handful of people have beaten me, and only one man has beaten me twice, Wade Barrett. Now even if me and Randy didn’t interfere I’m sure we would have seen the same results never the less. Christian there is a small pecking order here and you need to realise it takes hard work to get to the top and I’ve busted my ass for months to get to where I am and now Rock’s gone off the high wire I’ll be damn proud to say I’m recognised as one of the top superstars in this brand today! But anyone look at me just going on and on, this is your show, and I’m sure you have something to say so go on, spit it out dude don’t keep everyone waiting.

*Christian waits a few seconds and then raises the mic to his mouth.*

I never needed Mark Henry, Dave. I'm sure I don't need anyone to kick your ass! Dave, it's sad what you've turned into. But that was the worst thing you could do. I know you want to be in the spotlight and that's why I didn't do anything after you attacked me at the Monster Bash, but you ruined the night of my career. Instead of walking away to let me become the Intercontinental Champion, you were completely under Randy Orton's control. Randy Orton will never get this Championship and you wanna know why? Because I refuse to have matches! I refuse to have a single match untill Mick Foley gives me a re-match for the Intercontinental Championship against Wade Barrett and bans you two jackasses from ringside! I will never ever defend this Title if I don't get what I deserve, and I deserve to be the Intercontinental Champion.

Now now Christian don’t get ahead of yourself because what I see you deserve is a first place ribbon for stealing other peoples lines because all that bitch talk I heard that when I first came here The Rock was saying that so don’t try steal material, these people have heard it all before and so have I. Now Christian, I like to have a little fun, and this is who I really am. When I was attacking people and when I was with Montel my heart wasn’t in it and I wasn’t enjoying what I was doing. Now I am having the time of my like and unlike you I get a good reaction from this crowd, you see that must eat up at you, you actually had a good run with these fans, and they loved you. But now they, just like me want to rip that skinny little head from that body of yours. Christian do you know why I am called the animal? I’m very unpredictable, and although I can seem nice when someone itches away taunting and teasing trying to get a reaction I will give one, and if you continue to do so I’ll do Randy a favour and give you the worst beating of your life.



*The theme song of General Manager Mick Foley hits as he walks out onto the stage, the fans give him a warm welcome.*



*Christian begins shouting towards Foley's direction, Foley's music stops and he begins to speak.*



[Mick Foley] Whoa, Dave. Hold the phone! As much as I'd like to see you beat the snot out of Christian, that can't happen right now. Christian, I've had it up to here with your whining and complaining. I have enough people on my back on this brand and I'm not going to take it! I gave you what you wanted last week and you lost, no matter how. But you still lost. That means you're at the back of the line for a title shot, you're gonna have to work your way back up. You're taking things for granted, I'm sure people would kill to be in your position yet you just want more and more! You're the X-Treme Champion for crying out loud, you should be taking on all comers, not refusing to compete in matches. I must say I've never seen such a coward of a champion, and one type of person I can't stand in this business is a coward!

*Batista is shown smiling at Foley's rant on Christian, the fans give out a "Foley!" chant over and over. You can tell it's hyping up Foley as he continues.*



[Mick Foley] If you refuse to compete in another match, I will not hesitate to strip you of that fancy title of yours and if I have to go that far you will never get a title shot in XWL ever again. If you don't believe me then try me. But as for next week, I'm going to book you in a match. Next week I'm going to put you in a match with someone.. *Batista raises his hand as the fans cheer and laugh.*

*Foley waves goodbye to Christian and walks to the backstage area as Christian looks to Batista with a disbelieve written in his face.*

*The crowd reacts with a loud "Ohh!" towards Christian's insult to the Animal.*

*Batista snatches the mic out of Christians hands as the crowd begin to cheer as Christian looks annoyed.*

I'm tired of hearing all this whining and next week i cannot wait to take that title away but first of all Randy, sorry man but well I didn't ask for the match, I practically got it offered to me. Now next week Christian you are going to wish you haven't been such a whiney little bitch for the last few weeks. Cause i'm sick of it, all these fans are sick of it and pretty much everyone in the back is sick of it. So now that I have your mic you cannot continue to complain and drive everyone up the wall. Christian you have been thinking this show is all about you and well you're not the only one but I am going to have to teach you a lesson and I have no problem being booked in a match with you next week...

*Christian slowly walks to the corner and requests another mic and then turns to Batista.*

*Christian quickly hits Batista with the mic and starts punching him several times with it. Then Christian grabs the dazed Batista and puts him into the position of the Killswitch, but Batista pushes Christian away! Christian runs to Batista, but Batista kicks him in the gut and lifts him up quickly as the crowd cheers loudly. And he drops him with a Batista Bomb!!!*

The Batista Bomb!!!!!!! Looks like Batista is the one who teached Christian a lesson.

*Batista picks up his sunglasses and puts them back on and then takes a few seconds to look down at Christian.*



*The audience bursts out in cheers as Batista looks up again with a smile on his face. Then he slowly leaves the ring and makes his way to the back leaving Christian hurt in the ring.*

*The camera slowly fades while Batista stands on the stage and taunts to the crowd.*

**Breakdown returns from a commercial break and to the announce table with Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler.



Jim Ross: Welcome Back Folks, to XWL's flagship show Breakdown. We still have some great matches for all of you tonight, we have Batista taking on the former World Champion, The Rock and that big main event, Redemption's and XWL's World Champion CM Punk vs Randy Orton.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: That's right, and we have some other noticeable matches you should look out for, Heath Slater vs Davey Richards and Bryan Danielson takes on Alberto Del Rio.

Jim Ross: Jerry, as you mention Davey will be in action this week after that heinous attack by Bryan Danielson. Folks we are going to show you a video package of how Bryan Danielson attack came to happen.

**The video package starts and it shows Bryan Danielson in the ring at Eye for an Eye receiving a great reaction from the fans. He shows him telling the fans that he is going back to what made him who he was in the wrestling business. The video package then goes in slow motion when Davey Richards interrupts Bryan Danielson with a great reaction from the fans. The package continues with Davey talking and showing his respect for Danielson. It that part of the video package stops with a slow motion handshake between the two. Next it shows highlights of their first match the best bits, then the video packages ends with both of them looking exhausted on the outside just been counted out. The video package then shows the announcement of a rematch between the 2 at Monster Bash, then we get partial highlights of that match, it then shows Davey with his hand raised in victory and Bryan Danielson out cold amongst the carnage of a broken table. The video package then highlights last weeks show and then it turns red and shows the vicious attack made by Bryan Danielson and then it cuts as Davey is out and being tended to by EMTs and Jerry Lawler, then fades to black and we are back with JR and King.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: That was a horrible attack and in my eyes uncalled for. Davey Richards respected the hell out of that man even said so on many occasions and then we comes out and does that to him. I wonder if Davey will.......

**King is interrupted by a familiar entrance music played out through the P.A system.





A few moments pass, then Davey Richards appears on top of the ramp. The fans roar with cheers for the American Wolf. Davey looks serious as hell as his eyes are focused on the ring ahead of him. He stands on the ramp for a few moments before he makes his way down.



As he passes he high fives a few fans but not looking at them and still focused. Davey makes it to ringside and walks around the ring by the announce table where he nods towards Jerry Lawler. Davey climbs the apron and waits on the apron for a few moments staring towards the crowd who begin to chant.

"Davey Richards, Davey Richards, Davey Richards"



Davey steps through the ropes and throws one arm a loft as he circles the ring. Davey walks over to the ropes and is handed a microphone and taps it to make sure it working. Davey stops dead in the center of the ring and stands there with the mic by his side as the fans start to chant once more.

"Lets Go Davey,Let's Go, Lets Go Davey, Lets Go."

Davey still has not changed his facial expression, he actually looks anger and ready to blow. Davey lifts the microphone to his mouth to talk.**



Davey Richards: BRYAN DANIELSON!!!!!!! The best in the world? Yes you may well be the best in the world, I mean I even said you was one of the best. I respect the hell, actually scratch that, I did respect you. I remember watching your matches when back in the minor leagues when I was trying to make a name for myself in the independent scene. I watched you take on all competitors, big or small, technical or brawler, powerhouse or submission and you took them to the limit and won some of the best matches in the world. You proved that you don't have to be some big guy, some roided up asshole to succeed in this business. I am not going to lie, I am going to be totally honest, I looked up to you, I want to emulate your career but not right to the line. I wanted to be the type of wrestler you was, but that was just the beginner, you gave me a base to work with and I bettered myself in all aspects of combat. Bryan you left and many said I took the torch, but I disagree because there was not just once torch, there wasn't a torch as there was great wrestler back then. Bryan, I told you on many occasions how I interrupted you because I thought we could show these fans why we are the considered the best "wrestlers" but you saw that as disrespect?Bryan if anything I was showing you respect, when I shook your hand I was showing respect.



Davey Richards: Bryan, last week you took it upon yourself to attack me, I could not believe what you did, I was speechless, I was in shock of what you did to me. I could barely compete, but I did and I showed that whatever you do to me, whatever anyone tries to do to me, I will get up and carry on fighting, I will fight through pain and suffering to show that I am the best wrestler in the world. Bryan, the hunt will never be stopped, you may try to derail it but you will never kill it off. Last week what you decided to do is PISS this Wolf up, you decided to light a fire under this Wolf's ass, you aggravated this Wolf and this Wolf isn't tame, this Wolf will BITE back. Bryan, you said to Jerry Lawler that I wasn't better than you, you said you was the best in the world and you should be treated as the best. Bryan you lost all privileges to demand respect from anyone when you lowered yourself and attack me from behind and try to hurt me.



Davey Richards: I never got chance to hear what you said about me after your attack as I was busy trying to shake off what you did to me and man the fuck up and fight. But I did catch it the next day. I watched it over and over and I saw something in your eyes. I saw jealously, I saw disrespect and I saw fear. I saw your fear for what the future holds for you, the future is that I may just be better than you. So in your anger and frustrations you did something you may live to regret. What you did was challenge me to ONE MORE MATCH at November to Remember!!! You made the wrong choice, you signed your fate when you asked me for this match. The thing is Bryan, the other two matches we had on Breakdown and at Monsters Bash were great matches where RESPECT was something that was a big factor. But this time I have no respect for you, I have hatred towards you, I have anger towards you and Bryan I accept your challenge, but why wait until November to Remember, why would I wanna wait until then when I want to kick your face in, why don't you be a man, why don't you prove that your the best wrestler in the world and get you FUCKING ASS TO THIS RING RIGHT NOW!! **Davey drops the mic and is getting pumped up with anger, he is signaling towards the entrance for Bryan Danielson to come down and face him. Davey starts to walk back and forth awaiting the arrival of Danielson. Whilst this is happening there seems to be a little bit of a pop in the crowd behind the announce table. The camera zooms in and shows BRYAN DANIELSON running though the crowd unknown to Davey. Bryan is nearly by the barricade.**

Jim Ross: Thats Bryan Danielson, I think he's trying to sneak attack on Davey again.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Not this time JR, not this time.

Jerry Lawler gets up and takes his headset off and walks over to the barricade as Bryan Danielson jumps over. Jerry goes to grab him but is met with a hard hitting forearm to the side of the head. Jerry grabs Bryan by the hair but is met with another forearm shot flooring Jerry Lawler. Meanwhile Davey hears the commotion and turns to see Bryan kicking at the downed Jerry Lawler. Davey runs at full speed at the opposite ropes then at full speed runs towards the ropes and.........



HOLY SHIT, dives through the ropes and takes Bryan Danielson out, Davey is up and roars to the crowd who chanting.

"Holy Shit, Holy Shit, Holy Shit"

Davey gets on top and starts to furiously throws lefts and rights to the skull of Bryan who is trying to guard himself. When it looks like Davey has the upper hand Bryan gets a thumb in the eye which causes Davey to jolt back and in seconds Bryan Danielson runs at Davey and spears him into the barricade and but Davey manages to stay on his feet. They start to exchange hard hitting forearms. The crowd are going crazy at this fight that has broken out right here, but it is soon stopped as security rush to ringside and drag Davey and Bryan apart, both are trying to get to one another and on occasion nearly break free but more security come down and start to take away both wrestlers, Davey up the ramp and Bryan through the crowd. EMT's are also at ringside tending to Jerry Lawler who waves to them to say he is ok. Jerry gets up and walks back over to the announce table in seemingly dizzy and before he makes it, he collapses. EMTs rush over to him and before no time and stretcher is at ringside and they are loading Jerry Lawler onto it.**



Jim Ross: Folks, what just happened there was a sickening act on Jerry Lawler, I hope he is going to be okay, I will update you on his condition as soon as I hear. But Folks BAH GAWD Bryan and Davey just want to tear each other apart, and I say lets not wait until November to Remember let them fight now.

**JR stops talking as we the cameras show Jerry being taken away up the ramp on a stretcher. We fade to a Video Package of Randy Orton.**

THIS MATCH WASN'T ON THE CARD AS WELL BECAUSE BOTH MEN HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH TYSON KIDD.

Jim Ross: Well folks impressive victory from Cody Rhodes.

*Layla, Chris Hero, Tyson Kidd, and The Brian Kendrick eventually come down to the ring and they hop inside. Layla holds a paper bag as Cody instructs Tyson Kidd and Hero to pick Smith up.*

Jim Ross: What the hell are they doing?

*Cody slaps David in the face before Hero nails the rolling elbow! Smith falls down to the floor as Tyson and Kidd begin to stomp on him.*

Jim Ross: Oh come on! This is uncalled for!

*Rhodes yells to lift him up again. Cody follows that act up with a huge kick to the gut, allowing Kendrick to nail the Slice Bread!*

Jim Ross: Someone needs to get out here and stop this right now!

*Cody keeps a sadistic look on his face before grabbing Smith violently. He holds him up allowing Layla to take her briefcase and smashing him in the skull! He falls right back into Rhodes' arm, hitting the Cross Rhodes! The crowd boos as to the canvas.*

Jim Ross: Enough is enough!

*Just when it seems like The Resistance is finished, Cody whispers something in Tyson's ear. He smiles widely before grabbing Smith and locking in the Sharpshooter! The crowd boos as Smith taps out in the ring.*

Jim Ross: Oh no! Not the sharpshooter!

*Rhodes takes the paper bag and puts it over Smith's head as he is still in the Sharpshooter. The crowd boos and starts a "Cody Sucks!" chant. He ignores them and pats Kidd on the back before he lets go. The Resistance stand in a line before raising each others arms to large heat. Cody laughs before exiting the ring first.*

Jim Ross: That is just insult to injury! We'll be right back after this break.

*Breakdown cuts backstage to see Eddie Guerrero standing by with Josh Mathews*

Well folks we're back and getting ready for Rosita to take on One half of the Bella Twins, Brie Bella.

Well JR I ust hope this match won't end up like the last one. I think its a little unfair that Nikki is allowed to accompany Brie after Brie help her sister in her match a while ago.



*Bellas theme hits and they are seen coming out together with the crowd now in boos*



*Brie & Nikki stop at the top of the ramp and do their dance before continuing*



*Bellas continue to make their way and put their arms around eachother while making faces as Rosita*

*The Bellas grab the rop and jump on the apron staring out and making fun of the fans. Then do a standing backflip over the ropes and the ref tells Nikki to step out if the ring*



*Brie warms up a little before going into a lockup with Rosita*



*Rosita & Brie start out with noth in a grapple. Brie is able to get in and put Rosita in a headlock, but Rosita quickly gets out of it and pushes Brie almost hitting Nikki who is standing in the corner watching.*

Woah, that was sure a close one. Nikki almost got hit by Brie. And look at the Bries face. Shes inshock JR!!

[[JR]]
Yes she is King. Brie has been mocking Rosita for her height and it looks like Rosita showed her a thing or two. But Rosita has got to keep a close eye on that 'Twin Magic' of theirs.

*Brie & Rosita yet again go into another grapple. Again Brie is in control and turns it into an armbar. Rosita tries to get out, but brie flips her using a Snapmare followed by a knee to the back. Brie pick Rosita up by the hair and begins to call her names. Rosita trys to get out, but Brie slams her down by her hair and the ref yells at her. Brie gets in the refs face saying "Whats you gonna do about it?" Brie turns around to be hit by an elbow from Rosita who looks to gain control.*

*Rosita follows up with a few more elbows before Brie pushes her away. Then Rosita runs at her and gets hit with a clothsline. Brie looks at her with a nasty look and flips her hair. Nikki yells "stay down bitch!".*

My god King. Thats not very polite.

I agree JR. But their the Bellas and the ref can't do anything about trash talking sadly.

*Brie lifts Rosita up and irish whips her into the corner to do a clothline, but Rosita counters with another elbow to the face. Brie holds her jaw and attempts another clothsline, but she runs into the turnbuckle pad. As she turns around Rosita hits Brie with a dropkick knocking Brie out of the ring and onto the canvas floor. Nikki runs over to try and help, but the ref tells her to back off. Rosita gets out of the ring and picks Brie up, but Brie grabs Rosita and throws her into the the crowd. She gets back slowely and gets over the barracade holding her ribs, then Brie whips her into the side of the steel steps.*

*Brie runs in the ring and into a clothsline from Rosita*

*Nikki yells at Brie to get up*

Brie gets hit by a Enziguri dropping her to the mat hard. Rosita proceeds to climb to the top of the turnbuckle. Brie makes a commotiona dn the ref goes over to make sure shes ok. Nikki sees the distracted ref and runs over and pushes Rosita down off the turnbuckle and quickly going back to her corner. brie sees she is laying on the ground and quickly goes over to her. Brie picks her up and kicks her in the mid-section then hitting her with the BellaBuster, she then goes for the cover*

*Brie makes her way out of the ring and is met up with her sister Nikki*



*As they make their way back up the ramp Brie puts her hand on her forhead ahe loser sign and Nikki yells at Rosita*

*The bell rings after Zack Ryder has tapped out to Kurt Angle's signature Ankle Lock, and the Olympic Hero starts to jump about the ring in celebration of his victory as his theme blares through the P.A. in Colorado.*



*Kurt Angle requests a mic as the grounded Zack Ryder holds onto his ankle.*

It's been quite a few weeks now, but you see, just like before, I've become a winner again! Sure, I had a few weeks where I was off a little, but I've returned to the true, Olympic Greatness I am! But this time, I've got a special little thing I was saving to return, just for an occasion like this! I'm sure you're all going to love this.... Well, Zack, you'll be my first example.

*Kurt Angle drops his mic for a second and stares down at Zack Ryder's ankle looking intently to inflict more pain on it, before picking up the mic and beginning to speak again.*

Obviously, Zack, you don't have the Integrity to take your vitamins, or train! Because by the size of your now broken, small ankles, you haven't used them other than to switch sets in your youtube show! And you don't have the intelligence to know when you're done. Because you should've tapped out to my first ankle lock in that match! Because anyone with intelligence knows there's no way to beat an Olympic hero. And I think I speak for all of Colorado, and even the United States, when I say that you should be honored I let you out of three ankle locks and gave you some time to show what you have in the ring before finishing you off!

Zack, that match was a whole twelve minutes... A whole TWELVE minutes, the average match in XWL is twice as long as that! And I think you know where I'm going with this Zack... You have the intensity of a grandpa playing dodgeball in a high school gym class! You didn't even stand a chance! Woo woo woo, it's true!

*Kurt Angle pauses as Zack Ryder slides out of the ring and walks up the ramp, and Kurt Angle then continues.*

All of you here watching me in attendance right now, I just want you to know, you can put your trust in me. Because unlike those Colorado Rockies you have, or the Denver Nuggets. Because every time I come here I have to make up for the failure that are the Nuggets, I have to make up for the Rockies, and the Denver Broncos. When was the last time any of them won a championship? No one really knows it's been that long... But when was the last time Kurt Angle won a championship? Just a few months back, that's when! It's true, it's true. And I even won a gold medal with a broken freaking neck! I bet if John Elway had a broken neck in that super bowl all them years ago, he would've lost!



*A small You Suck chant starts up,*

*The fans begin to boo rather than chant.*

And don't boo them either! But anyways, I didn't ask for extra time after my match to talk about Zack Ryder, or the Denver Broncos. No, I want to talk about one man, and one thing only. That man, of course, is the man whose been trying to steal my rightful place as Number One contender, and that thing, is the Intercontinental Championship! Shelley, I understand you have an obsession with getting what you want, but you've crossed the line when you try to take from me what I want! These fans, they don't want you as Intercontinental Champion! They want an American Hero, someone their kids can look up and want to be like when they grow up! Shelley, I've made more people tap than you have strands of hair. And you're not going to stop me from taking whats mine, the Intercontinental Championship! So I want to challenge you to a match, at November to Remember, I want all these fans to remember me kicking your ass all around this ring! I want a match, me versus you!

And after that match, I'll be celebrating with my fans in the cafeteria, grabbing myself a nice glass of milk! And after I drink that, I'll hop right on E-Bay, and I'll buy my very own plane ticket straight to X-Treme Xmas! And Shelley, if you had any Integrity, you'd make sure to reserve a spot in the nearest hospital for the night of November to Remember, because I hear they fill up pretty quick and we wouldn't want you left with a broken ankle and no place to stay! So Wade, after I beat Alex Shelley and reclaim my Number one contender spot, it looks like I'll be taking your title from you at X-Treme Xmas! It's true, it's damn true! But until then... I'll be drinking my milk and taking my vitamins!

*Kurt Angle walks outside the ring, and goes to the announcer table where he takes a quick glance at JR and Jerry Lawler, before taking a milk jug from on top of the announcer's table and removing the cap. Angle picks it up high above his head, and then begins to chug it, after a good amount of it has been drank, he places it back down on the announcer's table and his theme hits signalling his exit.*



*We then head to a hype video for Breakdown Superstar, and new X-Treme Champion, Christian.*
