*James Storm walks onto the stage dressed in street clothes, following his match-up with Bobby Roode he has a big grin across his face and he marches to the ring with a microphone in hand and a beer in the other, chugs what's left of his beer and tossed to bottle into the crowd.
*He then slides into the ring. He calls for another beer, and begins drinkning the beer. Then begins to speak.
{James Storm} Did you all see that?! I WHOOPED ole Bobby from corner to corner and final gave him that Last Call to finish it up. The ass-kicking I gave him was almost as bad as the one Steve Austin got at X-Treme X-Mas from moi! Some subtle differences in these beat downs, Roode's was for fun but Austin's had a goal, a common good that was the result of it. As I've reiterated before Austin need to be put out for his own good. He was putting not only his health, but his legacy in danger and this good samaritan made sure to do the right thing and correct that. You fans boo at that but that cheering you fans do is the reason Austin is still around is why he hurts every night, chugging 30 packs in his hotel room to dull the pain of wrestling. Why can't you idiots just let him go?
*The XWL Universe boo's Storm who continues to attempt to explain his actions to them.
I told you last week it's your fault and you still don't get it! If you do what you did to Austin to your hero's now they won't last! If you keep cheering CM Punk, John Cena, or say me? We won't last! *The crowd erupts as Steve Austin's music hits and continues to play. Storm garners a look of fear on his face and starts flipping out, kicking the bottom turnbuckle out of anger.
As more time passes no Austin enters the ring and the crowd begins to grow silent and even some boo's.
HAHAHAHA! You all are idiots! God, such gullible idiots! You all are probably the people I hustle nightly at the bar! Good god you people are fools! WOO! But seriously that will probably be the last time that music is played in XWL and you people need to accept that. But onto other things, past Stone Cold, things like Wade Barrett. I defeated Bobby Roode this week, decimated Alex Riley last week after I showed he didn't deserve to share a ring with me by getting DQ'd and next on my agenda is whoever gets in my way of championship gold will suffer. I'll admit that Wade Barrett is one bad ass man, defeating Tyson Kidd to retain his Intercontinental Title and then going on to win the World Championship later that night in TLC. But he has yet to encounter a man like me, "The Tennessee Cowboy" James Storm, whenever I get a shot at whatever championship, Intercontinental or World, I will come out on top James Storm will be champion. I'm on the path for greatness and not even the top superstar in XWL today will stop me.
He is impressive, from watching he had the most impressive 2011 of any superstar and the best start to 2012 of anyone here, except for one man. ME. He didn't take out a legend, a man thought as the toughest person in the business, I literally threw him out of the industry. Barrett can claim his the best for now but wait till I get that chance, wait till this redneck gets his shot at glory! And that's true. I can't wait to say to Barrett just as I want to say to Austin, sorry about your damn luck!
I have the best look in this industry; I mean look at this face, the best ability to talk in this industry, I'm the most charismatic person in XWL, and of course I can go in that ring better than anyone else! Ask Bobby Roode! He has been a rival of mine and a friend of mine for years. He'll tell you just how good I am, how deadly I am. James Storm is not someone to be screwed with! I will be the man you people love to hate and I will be the man that is who you look upon as champion! *Storm tosses the mic to the ring announcer as his theme begins to play, he walks from the ring to boo's and enjoying his beer with a grin across his face. Following him walking to the back the show fades to the next segment.
*XWL returns to the imagine of two feet which appear to be in the air, side by side. This strange image confuses the fans in the audience that look on in wonder of what's going on.*
*The camera slowly scrolls backwards to show the full figure of Dolph Ziggler leaning against the floor with his hands and head with his feet held high in the air, doing his signature headstand.*
*Josh Matthews can now be seen standing beside Dolph with a mic in hand, and by the looks of things, he is awaiting Dolph's attention so that he may ask him some questions.*

[Dolph Ziggler] Don't caaaaaaare Josh, being awesome over here! So no, you can't.

*Dolph leans further down to get a good grip of the floor, before shoving himself upwards and throwing his legs backwards.*
*After he throws himself into the air, he leans backwards and lands on his feet. Feeling cocky, he pulls himself up to an upright position, with a smirk wiped across his face.*
*Once on his feet and standing upright, Dolph spins around until he's facing the camera and Josh Matthews.*
[Dolph Ziggler] Oh, hey there.

It should be shoved in people's faces, which it will be when I win it, letting each and every loser know exactly how good I am! It'll complete what I define. *Dolph smiles at the camera with his usually cocky look and throws his mic into the distance where it can be seen disappearing into the crowded backstage area. Dolph turns and begins to walk away.*
*Dolphs continues walking away until he is completely out of the camera's view. The cameras then turn back to show the empty interview area. XWL fades to a commercial break.*

But great promo, loving the verbal exchanges between Dolph and Ryder in each's promos, turning out to be a cool entertaining feud. An all too familiar theme hits and rings through the arena but in an unusual twist there isn't the familiar sound of boo's, people are actually cheering for The Rock?!
The Rock bursts through the curtain with a visible bounce in his step but stops in his tracks about half way down the ramp as he notices something different.....The Hawaiian crowd are actually cheering for him?
The Rock shakes his head and walks down the ramp, he climbs up the stairs and through the ropes into the ring before getting a microphone handed to him from the side, the lights go down as he begins to speak, the crowd still cheering and chanting....
[The Rock] You people?.......
The Rock stops as another wave of cheers spreads over the arena cutting him off.....
[The Rock] You people actually cheer for The Rock?
Another massive cheer gives The Rock his answer and he actually smiles for the first time in a long while....
[The Rock] Well in that case, right now I would like to speak to you people not as The Rock, no, as myself, as Dwayne Johnson, the same little boy who grew up here with nothing but sheer determination and the passion, the passion to follow in the footsteps of those who came before me! Just moments after Rock lowers the mic Cena’s theme blasts out of the PA and out comes John Cena! The crowd are on their feet as the leader of the CeNation makes his way out onto the stage smiling.
After a few moments Cena quickly raises his arm to his head and strikes a salute, paying tribute to fighting troops. He runs down the ring and slides in before quickly getting to his feet and taking a few paces back from The Rock making sure dosen’t have his back towards him. He walks over to the far side of the ring and grabs a mic before heading over to the corner and looking to rest on the side.
Rock looks on at Cena for a few moments not speaking as Cena moves off the ropes and raises the mic looking to speak.
John Cena Well Dwayne you gave a nice little speech just then, it looks like you are still about as much full of crap like you were ever since this whole little charade began. You come out here and live up to what these fans, these amazing fans who bring together this company and give guys like us the chance to do what we love to do each and every week and no Dwayne I don’t mean star in cheap 2 star rated ballet films but out in this ring wrestling! Now when you first came out tonight I was shocked, I thought maybe the old Rock was still in there somewhere, The People champion, The man who these fans loved and cheered for but no. As always you did have a little trick in your sleeve and well the new you did come out. Now I couldn’t help notice you called me out on my catchphrases and words that I live by. Rock just because you and a few others in the back may think there stupid or silly, I know there are over a million CeNation members who live by these quotes and I do too so I will not take crap off somebody who asks people to smell what he is cooking.
John Cena Rock you want to ask me about Rise above hate? Well I have proven to you that I rise above hate each and every week, I proved to Cody Rhodes I rose above hate. John Cena Now I’m not one for this game you try to play, hating on the fans, attacking superstars and pretty much doing absolutely everything to try and get the win and two weeks ago at Xtreme Xmas we both took each other to the limit but if you remember you got AA’ed off the stage. Now I agree, inevitably we both have got a pinfall over the other and we do need to find out who the better man is, now I have proved time and time again I am a threat to you and you shouldn’t take me lightly, you almost said I quit two weeks ago and there have been occasions where I have made you piss your pants and tap out quicker than a little girl! Now at Over the Limit, one final time…The Rock vs John Cena. I like the sound of that but if we are going to do this and make it big we do need to make it really big! Dwayne at Xtreme Xmas neither of us said I quit and never in our history have we said it. I made a promise to make you say I quit and damn sure want to keep it. [Cody Rhodes] Attention please.......
Both competitors turn their attention to the screen as The Rock cracks a smile, John Cena however looks on very pissed off, still remembering the Resistances involvement at X-Treme Xmas..
[Cody Rhodes] Now, now John. I know you're still mad about what happened at the PPV but I can assure you that was strictly business. Next on my list of business is to stop you two from killing each other before the rematch, so to make this match official, you two play nice and shake hands right now or I will personally see to it that you two never get your one on one rematch that you both desire.
The crowd boo furiously down on Cody Rhodes while cheering for John Cena to knock The Rocks block off, Cena weighs up his options but decides that he'd much rather get his hands on The Rock at the ppv, he reluctantly extends his hand out and is met with the reply "Good little Bitch" from The Rock, who accepts the handshake as both men stare a hole through each other as Breakdown cuts to commercial.....

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Classic Wade Barrett with a surprise attack... but you're right JR. This is ugly. Someone needs to stop this.
*After what seems like an eternity. Barrett relents and stands before looking down at his prey intently.*

*Barrett smirks menacingly and absorbs the crowd's hatred for a few seconds before continuing.*
[Wade Barrett] That - ladies and gentlemen - is a preview of what's to come at Over The Limit. Just like that, I was easily able to incapacitate Justin Gabriel for the 10 count, showing that there is a severe gap in talent and durability between us.
*The crowd begins a resounding "You suck!" chant. They aren't stupid - they know Gabriel was already incapacitated after being defeated by Christian. Barrett just picked up the scraps and destroyed a man who was already down.*
[Wade Barrett] If I'm able to knock Gabriel out for a 10 count with just my bare hands tonight... just imagine the possibilities at Over The Limit where everything goes in our Last Man Standing match. Personally, I can't wait to put this annoying little weasel in his place once and for all. With a bit of luck, I'll be able to remove him from the XWL roster permanently.
*The boos intensify.*
[Wade Barrett] I could finish the job right now, but I'm actually relishing the chance to punish Gabriel at Over The Limit. I'm not going to deny myself the chance to earn big money on Pay Per View by eliminating my so-called "competition" early. But make no mistake about it, come Over The Limit, I will be pulling out all the stops and using whatever I can find to ensure that Justin Gabriel can not only answer a 10 count, but to ensure that he won't even be able to leave the ring on his own.
[Wade Barrett] And if anyone has a problem with that... if any of Gabriel's buddies want to try and help him out... they're more than welcome to join in the match and get their own serving of injuries. Personally, I couldn't care less about anyone on this roster and the more people I have to hurt, the better.
[Wade Barrett] I told Gabriel last week that agreeing to this match would be the biggest mistake of his life. If he's not convinced after tonight... he soon will be. And no matter what... after Over The Limit... I will still be World Heavyweight Champion as the Barrett Barrage rolls on to the main event of the grandest show on earth... Final Stand. The fact is, 2012 is the year of Wade Barrett. You are now all living in my era. It's about time you stopped jeering me and accepted that fact. The sooner you do that, and the sooner everyone in the back accepts it... well, there won't be any need for anyone else to end up like Gabriel...
*Barrett drops his mic and an evil smirk creeps across his face as his music begins to play.*
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Well, I guess that was symbolic. Wade Barrett has been one of the most if not the most dominant member of our roster for quite some time. And he basically destroyed Gabriel tonight.
[Jim Ross] You're forgetting something King. Gabriel was already down and out after his match with Christian!
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Yeah well... I may not approve of Barrett's methods, but I think it would have been the same end result either way. If Gabriel had won, he'd still be a bloody mess at the hands of Wade Barrett.
[Jim Ross] I wouldn't be so sure about that King...
*As Barrett angers the already infuriated crowd further by raising his arm in triumph, the cameras cut to a zoomed in shot of the face of Gabriel, which is now nothing more than a crimson mask. The screen slowly fades to black as a commercial begins to play.*

*As Limp Bizkit's Rollin' begins to blast throughout the arena, The American Bad Ass rolls out onto the stage on one of his many motorbikes dressed to compete, then begins to drive down towards the ring*
Lilian Garcia: Making his way to the ring from Houston, Texas, weighing in at 299pounds, The Undertaker!
Jim Ross: You heard that correctly folks, The Undertaker is now on Breakdown, and what a coup it is truly is!
Jerry "The King" Lawler: You can say that again JR, it's great to have the Deadman on Breakdown and I'm sure the fans agree, but I'm sure there are more than a few guys in the back that aren't too pleased.
Jim Ross: And I can't really blame them for that, you heard him last week he doesn't care about getting titles and being considered the best, he just wants to hurt people. And with the punches Undertaker can throw I think he's going to get what he wants.
*As Taker finishes his circle around the ring, he parks his bike facing up the ramp, and he's off it as he walks towards the ring and rolls in under the bottom rope*
Jerry "The King" Lawler: I just feel sorry for whoever has to go up against him, when he's in the kind of mood he is now, going one on one with The Undertaker is just signing your own death certificate.
Jim Ross: You can say that again King, it takes either a brave man, or a stupid man to tick off The Undertaker and thanks to Miz and R-Truth, The Undertaker is just that.
*As Undertaker goes to each side of the ring, he raises his arms up above his head each time eliciting a cheer from that side of the crowd*
Jerry "The King" Lawler: You know, ordinarily I'd relish the chance to get in the ring again, but I certainly wouldn't want to be in Eric Young's shoes tonight.
Jim Ross: But he did get a huge win over Daniel Bryan last week, although that said The Undertaker is a very different type of beast then the American Dragon, and I'm not sure if I like Eric Young's chances.
*The timekeeper then approaches the ring and hands Undertaker a microphone through the ropes, then Undertaker walks to the middle of his yard and his theme fades out*
The Undertaker: Now I'm not going to waste a lot of time talking, because when it come's down too it there's been a whole lot of time dedicated to talk and not enough time for some ass kickin'. And there's nobody that's kicks more ass or kicks ass better then The Undertaker. Last like I said last week, tonight the pain and suffering will begin, whatever the status quo used to be on Breakdown can now be thrown out of the window because now that The Deadman has arrived there is a new dog on the top of the food chain and there's not a damn thing anybody can do about it. And whether the boys backstage like it or not nobody and I mean nobody is safe from The Undertaker, if you cross my path I will beat you down like no other and I will put them in their place along with everyone else that's crossed my path in the last twenty years of my reign of destruction. And as it just so happens tonight that man is someone by the name of "Showtime" Eric Young, now I saw you last week kid and I guess congratulations are in order, kid. You beat Daniel Bryan, sure that might impress a lot of people, but I ain't one of them.
The Undertaker: You see Eric, tonight just isn't your lucky night, 'cause I'm here tonight to whoop somebody, and it turns out that somebody is you and trust me when I say tonight you ain't going to have anything to write home about. Tonight Eric you become the first of many to fall before The Deadman here on Breakdown, it isn't personal, it's just business. So when you step into my yard in a minute don't go expecting me to take it easy on you, because I will make you famous. See tonight I make a statement, a statement that I intend on making each and every week, and that statement reads The Undertaker is still the judge, the jury and the executioner of the XWL. And it's been a while since I fulfilled that role, but I don't see any better time to pick it up again then right now. Sure my methods might not be pretty and aren't going to be featured on a highlight reel, but they damn sure are effective, and there ain't nobody who can tell me to do it differently. It might not be my show, but this is MY yard.
The Undertaker: Sure for the past few months people have split the ropes and stepped into my yard, and the big dog didn't bat an eyelid. And then they stepped in, and the big dog didn't take notice. And then they stepped in a bit further, and they got bit. It turn's out all along, it's just what the dog wanted, and tonight Eric, you get the feel what it's like when you step into the big dog's yard and get bit. And then go to the back and warn all the boys what waits for them when they face The Undertaker, and make sure you tell them that there's no point in running and hiding, because their judgement day is soon to come, and there will be no mercy, I might not dress like Satan anymore, but I'm still down with the devil, and I'm not afraid to go medieval on their asses, and they will find that out the hard way.
*As Undertaker pauses the crowd cheer for him, then he turns to face the titantron and raises the microphone back up to his mouth*
The Undertaker:But you know what, I'm done with talking. So get your sorry ass down to this ring, before I go back there and drag you out here and beat you like you've never been beat before, and that is a promise.
*As Undertaker finishes talking, he throws his microphone back down to the mat and waits for Eric Young to come out*

**Breakdown returns from a video package building up the next PPV, "Over The Limit". We are now in the ring with "The American Wolf" Davey Richards. Davey grabs a microphone from ringside then slides back into the ring. Davey starts to walk around the ring looking a little bit puzzled. Davey lifts the mic to his mouth and begins to talk.**
Davey Richards: So I was actually hoping to come out earlier and talk about this but hey better late than never. I wanted to talk about what happened last week on the New Years Special of Breakdown. I mean I had myself a match with Mr Anderson which I was dissappointed with the outcome. I mean I fought and fought to try get the victory until somebody had to stick there nose in and the ref calling it a no contest. But that is far behind me, that is not event he problem. I mean I about to leave and I get jumped, by at first I thought was a over-excited fan who wanted a little bit more of me. What I wasn't expecting that this supposed fan to take me down like he did. Well we all know that was no fan, that was a big man beast that was somebody we all know as Rhino.
**The crowd have a little pop at his name but there are also a few boos heard throughout.**
Davey Richards: He hit me with that GORE of his and took me down with ease. I was lay there as the EMT's came out and help me to the back. I thought I was broken in half, I thought that I was going to have to take a trip to the local hospital but for all my fans out there it didn't have to come to that. I was analysed by the XWL doctor who said it was a lot of brusing around my mid-section and my back but I would be fine. I took his advice but that wasn't the end of the night for me. I took a stroll around the arena looking for that son of a bitch but surprisingly enough he had vanished into thin air. Rhino, I know who you are, I know what you are capable of doing in this ring and out this ring. I remember you in ECW, I remember seeing you around the Indys and I knew you was one tough bastard. So I have spent the week racking my brains onto why I was your target, why you decided to make your impact by attacking me. But I couldn't come to any conclusion that made much sense. You see I have gone from one guy who thought he could get the upper hand over me and I showed him that I would not settle for it, I would not lie down and take it. I will and I still will fight back to anyone who wants a piece of this Wolf. One of the things that really confused me thought Rhino, was why would you attack a Breakdown superstar, I heard during the week that you were officially signed to the Redemption brand.
Davey Richards: Rhino you have the whole of that roster to pick apart, you have the chance at going for the United States championship over there but you decided to attack me. Well Rhino, I know that I am not going to get an answer from you tonight because you are competing in a match over on Redemption. I knew that even though I picked up this microphone that I was going to just ramble and get this off my chest. Like I said the answer was never going to get answered tonight, but this is a little warning aimed at your direction. I hope that next week that you make a little trip over to Breakdown and come see me face to face, come try and GORE me when I stare you in the face. You maybe the man-beast known as Rhino but has the man-beast ever stood toe to toe with the vicious wolf, the wolf who has been attacked and is ready for revenge? I doubt it, so Rhino if you don't show up next week, I may have to make a trip myself over to Redemption and HUNT YOU DOWN!!!!
**Davey drops the mic and starts to clap to his fans in the middle of the ring before he slides out. He walks over to some fans at ringside, he gives the fans some high fives all around the ringside area. Davey makes his way up the ramp and into the back, the camera man follows Davey to his locker room he opens his locker room and.....GORE!!!!! Davey Richards just got destroyed by Rhino!**
J.R: I thought Rhino was at Redemption?!
King: How the hell did he get here?!
**Rhino squats over top Davey Richards, grinning about the assault, the grin slowly fades and he begins yelling "GORE! GORE! GOREEEE!" and he then walks off around the corner leaving Davey holding his ribs just outside his locker room as the show fades to commercial**

[Cody Rhodes] Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please. This has been a very, very special night. There is a certain atmosphere in the air, and it can not be touched. You can feel the magic. I can feel the magic. And this is all because of one very special man in this business. A man that has lead a revolution. A man that is seen as an innovator in this business. He is held in the highest regard. Millions of adoring fans around the entire world love and respect this man. He is currently the Co-Breakdown General Manager. Perhaps, I am talking about Mick Foley? The "Hardcore Legend." The former WWE Champion. The man that is large, literally, and in charge of this company. The man that has had this entire night dedicated to him. Now, I have played many of his greatest moments throughout the night. Yet, I've saved the best for last. What can it be? Will it be his victory over The Rock to win his first world title? Will it be when he won the World Tag Team Championships at Wrestlemania with Terry Funk? Will it be his infamous battles with Tommy Dreamer? Or the highest rated segment of all time..... "This is Your Life?"
[Cody Rhodes] Well, it speaks for it self......
*As Cody points to the titantron, an image of the November to Remember poster shows.*
*The song "Elective Amnesia" by Rise Against plays as Madison Square Garden shows. Mick Foley is the first to appear on the scene, followed by the arrival of Cody Rhodes and their brawl on the ramp. The video continues to play and shows many highlights from the match. From the two beating each other with kendo sticks and trash can lids. The Double Arm DDT onto the chair. Mick Foley using Mr. Socko on Layla. The Resistance doing a beat down on Mick Foley, only for Edge to spear Chris Hero through the announcers table. Followed by Mick Foley putting Cody through a table with an elbow drop. It shows more chair shots, Beautiful Disasters kicks, and the brawl through the crowd. The video finally comes to the part where Cody knocks Mick off the stage with his mask! The video ends with Cody beating Mick and having his hand raised.*
[Cody Rhodes] What you people just saw, was the greatest moment in Mick Foley's career. As for the man I was talking about? Well, it's not Mick. I was talking about me. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes. The fact is, every week is MY tribute show! I saved this show from utter disaster and despise! The evil was defeated! All because of me! You all can thank me for that. Of course, I give credit to both Layla and Chris Hero. Not those worthless and talent less wastes of space like Brian Kendrick and Tyson Kidd. Those despicable and hideous ingrates. Refraining myself from thinking about those vile human beings, I would like to go back to Chris Hero. This man is the future of my company. Even after being injured by that fool Edge, he came back and is still fighting the good fight. He is a much more honorable man than anyone in the back, or any of you people, could ever wish to be!
[Cody Rhodes] A lot of rumors have been spreading around like wildfire recently. "Resistance is dead." "Who?" "Burnt out quicker than they lit." The fact is, all you of people couldn't be more wrong. You all share a common misconception. You think of us like some "stable" or "Faction." I've said this before, and I won't say it again. So I hope you all get this through your hideous thick skulls. We are much greater that a stable of wrestlers. We are a revolution. Their are many more in the back there who believe in our cause. Chris, Layla, and myself are just the front runners. Chris and I proved that last week. We destroyed and mutilated Edge and Mick Foley in this very ring last week. I hear even more rumors in the back that Edge and Mick Foley already have a plot of revenge in their ego filled minds. Yet, I bet you that plan has hit a road block.
[Cody Rhodes] This is because, tonight, Chris Hero will face Edge one on one. This is not the same Chris Hero before his injury. You all saw the fire in him last week. It is a fire that will never quit burning. Mick Foley was the first one to learn that. This, week, it's your turn, Edge. Two weeks ago at X-Treme X-Mas I told you that you were messing with the wrong fight. This wasn't your business, and you should have stayed out. For some reason, you didn't heed my advice. Now, you will be punished once more in your match against Chris Hero tonight. Maybe, just maybe you will learn your lesson. Also, I bet you will learn another lesson. "Kings Reign Supreme." It's almost as truer words have never been spoken, tell them, Chris.
[Hero]: To all of the doubters and naysaysers, who didn't believe in our cause, who thought that the Resistance would never be able to recover, just take a look at what you see before you. We have Layla, a future Diva's Champion, Cody Rhodes, the future GM of Breakdown and me, Chris Hero, the future of this company. Last week we proved that we are back to 100%, we are back to our full force and we did that by making an example out of Mick Foley and Edge. Tonight, I go up against the one trick pony himself. Edge has this misconception that everyone around the World should "Fear the Spear", that the Spear is the end for anybody who happens to be on the recieving end of it. Well I have news for you and I know this is a bitter pill for you to swallow, but I happened to be on the recieving end of a spear and although it may have cost me a few months off of my career, Chris Hero is alive and kicking.
[Hero]: Last week, Edge had a few words he had to say about yours truly and I couldn't help but get the feeling that I am being overlooked. Maybe it's due to an over-inflated ego, maybe it's due to him being able to injure me once before... I don't know, but I do know this, it is a grave mistake to over look Chris Hero. What he fails to recognise is during my tenure away from this company, I was training harder than ever before. I trained with a very good friend of mine, who is one of the very best in this industry... A King of his craft if you will and he pushed me to the very limit and thanks to him I am 100%, I am better than ever and I learnt the secret of how to perform a decapitating European Uppercut. I am not coming into this match to win Edge, I am coming into this match to make a statement, that there are none better than Chris Hero.
[Hero]: I've been in the ring with you before, I know your tactics, but more importantly I know your down fall. Tunnel Vision, you believe so blindly in the Spear that you do not try to catch your opponent off guard, you do not try anything else, you always without fail resort to the Spear. It may have brought you success in the past, but I shall not be a victim of the Spear again. Your biggest weapon is your biggest weakness and unlike you I have so many tricks up my sleeve. I will break your jaw with my Elbow, I will kick your head off with the Cyclone Kill, I will snap your spine with the Cloverleaf and then when all is said and done, I will drive your skull into the mat with the Hero's Welcome. I, am not a one trick pony and I intend to take full use of my arsenal against you, so for your sakes I hope you've done your homework, I hope you've studied for hours to prepare for tonight.
[Hero]: Like I said before Edge, this isn't the Chris Hero you have faced before, this isn't the Chris Hero of old... This is the new and improved Chris Hero. Tonight, you're not going up against the same man who was put on the shelf by your hands, tonight you're going up against the Knockout artist, the hard hittin', never quittin' King of Wrestling, that is known as "That Young Knockout Kid" Chris Hero. Not only do I intend to hurt you, not only do I intend to humilate you, but I am going to prove to you and the World the power of the Resistance... But more importantly than that, I will show you that no matter what you and Mick Foley do, no matter what you both try, it is all hopeless, you will always be fighting a losing battle that you can never win... Why? Because Kings Reign Supreme...
[Layla] Edge is just like Trish Stratus...Just like she makes the mistake to return as if it's some big deal every couple of months with the same tired act every time...Edge has made the mistake in siding with the wrong cause. Do you honestly think Mick Foley is the saint in this, Edge? The very same Mick Foley that made me, me! Compete in a Hell in a cell match? A match that was not designed for someone of my stature, a match that he would name himself the special referee in....A match where my Money in the bank contract would be on the line, as well as my contract on this brand! That is not the makings of a respectable general manager, that is the act of an old broken down man that is still living in the olden days. He wants to have this exciting life style, making decisions that further prove his stupidity...But he's no longer this "hardcore legend" he's simply a feeble old man that needs to finally call it quits!
*A rather large "Mick Foley!" chant breaks out in the audience, Layla simply rolls her eyes at it before continuing.*
[Layla] Do you people not see what you're doing? You're cheering a man that should not be cheered, he should be shunned! Shunned for all of his heinous acts against his superstars and divas on this brand. Shunned for providing a number of things that no one should be subjected to. An unsafe working environment, abuse of power, frivolous firings by the number, and an overall lack of consideration for every decision he made! Edge, it's superstars like you why nothing changed and simply got worse and worse over time... Superstars that didn't speak up, superstars that simply learned to live with the hell that was brought upon them by a senile general manager. But we didn't, we sat back long enough, and now here we stand, a difference made. Do you see Mick Foley here? I don't think so...Do you see undeserving champions? Well besides Kaitlyn as Divas Champion, but I'll change that soon enough...
[Layla] We've provided a brand that ensures that each and every person, man or woman, will get the equal opportunity they deserve. We present opportunity, they cease it. Look at Wade Barrett, dominant as he was, he was never granted a World Heavyweight Championship match, we made it possible, and here he stands World Heavyweight Champion. Look at Dolph Ziggler, he was given a contenders match and now at Over The Limit we will see two deserving and talented men collide one on one for the Intercontinental Championship. When's the last time you could say that? This brand is stronger, it's superstars are progressing more than ever before, and whether you like us or not, The Resistance have backed up everything that they said they would.
[Cody Rhodes] Layla, I would like to stop you right there. You make a great point. We have backed up everything that we said we would. I said I would beat Mick Foley and Edge. I did that. I said I would free Breakdown from it's terrible management. I did it. Chris Hero says he will beat Edge tonight, and he will do it. Layla says she'll be the Diva's Champion. And she will be the Diva's Champion. A real one for once. Not like AJ Lee. Not like Kaitlyn, the man trapped in a woman's body. While speaking of backing up what we say, the people I mention, they do not. This place is full of hypocrites and losers. People talk, and talk, and talk, but when it's time to walk... they fail. They blame their own shortcomings and failures on other people, and it's sicking. That is something Mick Foley does, but not me. Not Chris. And not Layla. We are true to our word, and plus. When have we ever experienced failure? In 2011, The Resistance lost less times than anybody else in XWL. That is a FACT.
[Cody Rhodes] Failure is not a word in out dictionary. Lying is not in it. With words like that out of dictionary, we have proven why we can run this show like no other. We have proven why we are not grouped with the hideous and ignorant "superstars" in the back. We have proven why we out shined those mockeries of life forms known as "The" Brian Kendrick and Tyson Kidd. Yet, I admire that there is hope with guys like Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler. There is indeed hope that one day we will restore Breakdown's image. There is hope, because we say there is. We have never backed out on our word, and I assure you we have only begun. Last week, last week was the true birth of the Resistance. The words "less is more" have never been more true. Much like in the case of the nWo, the three of us are stronger than an other number there could possibly be. Mick Foley and Edge can vouch for that, and soon will everyone else who tries to step out of line.
[Cody Rhodes] Speaking of Edge. If you recall, two months ago at November to Remember. He put Chris on the shelf with a reckless spear through a table. Quite frankly, I'm surprised he didn't do the same to me at X-Treme X-Mas. With that action, it has come to my attention that Edge is a dangerous human being. Seeing as he has a match with Chris Hero up next, I have come up with a decision. I have decided that Edge has been BANNED from using the Spear. I have to assure the safety of my superstars. I'm not like Mick Foley. I just don't thrown them into random Hell in a Cell matches for no reason! Well, come to think of it, it would be much safer than to face Mick Foley or Edge. Bottom line, Edge, if you use the Spear, you will be FIRED. With that in mind, good luck in you match tonight.....
*Cody laughs out loud to himself as the crowd begins to jeer The Resistance. Layla smirks, but suddenly the theme of Edge hits to a loud pop.*
*As soon as the music hits, Cody scrams from the ring. Edge comes out, and Rhodes flees through the crowd as Edge can be seen laughing on the ramp. Edge follows with his regular entrance routine and the match begins.....*
