XWL Breakdown goes on the air and the opening pyrotechnics go off at the top of the stage as the crowd excitedly cheers
The cameras pan around the audience who seems to have a mixed reaction, we find out why when the Breakdown theme finishes and we hear Layla's music.
JR: Welcome to Breakdown everybody, tonight is going to be a great show including an X-treme title defense, and a big main-event between Batista and The Rock in a no-disqualification match! But before we can get to that it seems as if Layla has decided to open the show.
King: Why is a diva opening the show? Unless shes going to do one of those dancing exhibitions like she used to I have no need to see her this early into the broadcast.
Joey Styles: King you really should be more respectful, for all you know she could be our new number one contender if she can defeat Maryse!
King: Key word if, and she won't because my Maryse doesn't lose to anyone .
JR: Didn't Trish Stratus defeat her to become Divas Champion in the first place?
King: That doesn't count.
Joey Styles: How...?
King: Because it just doesn't!
We then go to the ring where Layla is shown standing in the ring already and oddly seems to be in a good mood.
Layla: Calm down, I know we haven't exactly had the best relationship but you act as if you're not happy to see me! I mean sure I may have blasted you guys just a bit before my match at Sadistic Conquest, but to be fair you did kind of deserve it.
The audience begins to boo even more and she places her finger at her mouth
Layla: Shhh!!
They seem to dislike that even more and continue booing
Layla: See this exactly my point, you sit there on your cheaply bought seats stuffing your faces with nachos, hot dogs, and anything else that once had legs and no longer moves. Then while you add to your cellulite and increase your obesity one pretzel at a time you continue to judge the superstars and divas! How in the hell you see nothing wrong with that baffles me, it honestly does.
Layla: But of course whatever I say automatically translates into something negative with you people. I could say wow the weather sure is great outside, and you all would still boo me. And lets face it there is nothing lovely about this weather here in St. Louis! Not to mention this pathetic city is barely famous for anything! ! I feel like I'm practically in the middle of nowhere! Sure you're responsible for the creation of 7-Up, but even still thats hardly anything to boast about. Oh you created a lemon-lime soda, how impressive? And I suppose the chocolate on your pillow bit is another thing you're proud about? In fact I think we may have just solved the cause for the obesity level in this place!
The fans begin a "Layla sucks, Layla sucks, Layla sucks!" chant
Layla: Oh no no no, I don't suck, it's you chocolate stuffers that suck!
Boos continue to rein in from the crowd and Layla shakes her head
Layla: Nu-uh it's you! How in the hell do I suck? Huh? Answer me that, oh wait, you can't because it's impossible for someone so flawless to suck. So zip your lips, and show respect for your future Divas Champion!
Layla: Oh it's happening, tonight I will face the current contender Maryse and she wisely accepted my challenge last week so good for her. Now she won't be taken out, she won't be injured and she will be famous not for her boring title reign, but for being the diva that lead to Layla taking back her rightful spot on top! Yeah say what you want but I guarantee it's happening! So Trish I want you to shine that title up real nice for me, and please do try to refrain from staining it with your excessive amounts of spray tan covering your body!
Layla: Hey I'm just trying to protect the image of something that will soon be mine. Would you want something to be in bad condition when you got it? Like if you went to the shops and bought a sub with everything on it and then some, wouldn't you be annoyed if it had a bite taken out of it? Sure you'd be annoyed but looking at all of you that wouldn't stop you from pigging out and having a good ol time now would it?
Layla: Well you know it's true! Just looking out from this ring I can see stains galore over your hand me down clothes and aged XWL wear, and I see people getting up from their seats for more food, already?!
She pauses waiting for the boos to die down.
Layla: See the problem isn't me, because what I'm simply doing is being honest! You boo me for telling the truth, talk about a bunch of low lifes! Would you prefer if I came out here like Fattie Nattie, Frail Kim, or Piggie James and just lie to you straight to your faces?! So just shut up and stop speaking, don't chant anything stupid and simply listen. You think you can handle such a simple task? Because this isn't about any of you, it's about me! It's about my eventual title reign, my match tonight and a mystery woman. Yes I didn't forget about you and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing me how much of a coward you are! Any idiot could put a mask on and attack people from behind, it doesn't take skill it just shows lack therefor of. Attacking me on my way to my car, screwing me out of a title match, attacking me after a loss in a tag-team match and then attacking me mid interview. Do you think thats cute? Do you think it makes you special? I bet I know the reason for your "masked" appearance. you're too ashamed to show your ugly face to all of these people, and you're jealous of my stunning looks. Thats it isn't it? You're nothing but a jealous, pathetic, unsuccessful, idiotic, sad excuse of a person!
Layla: And that's real talk sweetie!
Layla: I thought long and hard about what to do about this problem and you know what I'm going to do?
Layla: Absolutely nothing! You heard me you little bitch, I have way more important things to deal than the likes of you! I have waited two and a half long years to be Divas Champion and I am not going to let ANYTHING stop me! So I suggest you find another target, because this fish isn't biting!
She stares for a moment at the half silent half booing crowd then raises her microphone back up.
Layla: Real talk!
Layla: Now you can boo me.
She places her microphone down then throws her arms up and spins back smirking while the boos get louder and louder.
JR: Layla definitely can talk the talk but can she walk the walk when she collides with Maryse later on tonight?
Joey Styles: I don't know, for one i'm not positive she will even make it to the match. She insulted the masked woman in some very harsh ways and a before match attack causing Layla to not even be able to compete wouldn't surprise me.
King: You've officially gotten my hopes up so it better happen!
JR: Anyways we've got to go to our first commercial break of the evening stay tuned for more of tonight's episode of Breakdown!
We switch cameras views and see Layla walking away from the ring and she mocks a fan in the front row. Then before we cut away to the commercial break, with an arrogant grin she face palms another one of the audience members obviously mocking Maryse now.
Breakdown needed an opening so thought why not have it open flawlessly?
Anyways would appreciate any comments/thoughts if you have the time.

Layla Opening Breakdown.
Good opening commentary once again setting the show up for the main event later. Layla pulling the heel card of slagging the city she's in, lol, don't you hate on 7-Up. Hyping your match for tonight is the way to go, Layla showing how frustrated she is in the whole attackings on her which was played well. Interesting to have Layla just dissmiss the attacker but I don't see that working Great promo to start the show that gets the job done for all the things going on now for Layla.

Great opening promo from Layla. Firstly I like how you had King mention Layla being in Extreme Exposure. The comments about St Louis are great, and good heel work.

**Daniels theme hits as he makes his way down the ramp as he climbs into the ring and calls for a mic the crowed repetitively chant for Joe.**
[Daniels] Last week I came out here for a match that ended in a double count out, now I don't know what you people think but all I know is that I'm still unbeaten now Samoa Joe you are a waste of space you had no chance last week if you weren't so fat you could be as good as me one day but I know you we have history you will never be on my level you will never be a champion in this company and you will never beat me.
**The crowed boo then start to chant Joe's gonna kill you**
Shut up you people are just like him fat lazy and will never achieve greatness, now im also out here to demand a title shot that is rightfully mine I have walked through anybody that was put in front of me and granted last week there was a double count out but I never lost I'm still unbeaten if that doesn't deserve a title shot I don't know what does
**Daniels drops the mic and starts to walk out of the ring but then.....
**There is a big pop from the crowd, they seem to be warming more to Samoa Joe now. Samoa Joe appears on the ramp and wasting little time starts to walk down to the ring.
Daniels steps back into the ring and to the opposite ropes, just in case a quick escape is needed. Joe climbs the ringsteps and enters through the ropes, he grabs a mic from the ringside assitant and begins to talk.**
[Samoa Joe] You know what Chris, your full of shit? You think that I am a waste of space. You think I am just something you can discard as a slight tarnish to your streak? Chris, last week I answered your call, because of two things. One because I know that I could have a great match with you and show these fans what real wrestling is about. Two because you are getting to big for your boots, your unbeaten record is waht you hold onto, you are obessesed and I knew that I had to end it.
Chris, you use to come out here and perform and show the fans how great you are, now you do it for what? For the money?For your own personal glory? I don't care what you do it for, but I can tell you last week me and you took it to the limit, we gave fans what they wanted to see. The only thing what was wrong last week is that it ended it the way it did. I could of beat you, you could of beat me, but no-one got to find out....
**Daniels holds up his hand to interrupt Joe, he puts the mic to his lips and begins to talk**
[Daniels] First off Joe how dare you interrupt me do you know who I am you come out here talking about how great our match was and that we gave the fans what they wanted but there's just one thing I don't care, I don't care about you and your weight issues and I don't care if these fans hate or like me my only interest is keeping my streak going.
**The crowd start to boo Daniels**
[Daniels] Then you start bitching about how I used to pander to these idiots well let me fill you in on a little secret Joe things change get used to it, but I can agree with you on one thing we did take it to the limit and i could've beat you you are nothing compared to me you are just another win to my streak and I will prove that tonight.
Samoa Joe Tonight Chris, you will prove one thing, that this streak will become your downfall, because I will get in that ring tonight, I will wait for that bell to be rung, then I will fight, I will battle, I will war to end your streak and prove to you that last week, you were lucky. Chris, like I said last week and like you mentioned, we have had our history, that means you know who I am, what I am capable of. To date I have been a warrior, I have been going into this ring and giving it all. Alot may say Joe seems like he has been humbled, that he is not the Samoa Joe of the past. Well I say to them and I say to you, I will unleash that side from my past and you will be sorry.
So Chris, tonight there is just one thing that stands in our way and thats Booker T, it ain't just me and you, he is involved in this match, so thats 2 times the chance of you losing that streak and I'm sure as hell know Booker will be looking for the win tonight also, so in the end, tonights going to be one hell of a headache, and your looking at the reason and that means its going to get a hell alot worse.
**Joe drops the microphone and goes right in Daniels face, Daniels drops his mic and pushes his face back into Joe's. Joe steps back with a smile on his face and turns his back and goes to exit through the ropes. Daniels quickly moves towards Joe looking to attack him from behind. Daniels goes to hit Joe with a forearm, But Joe turns back quickly which forces Daniels to backstep qucikly and fall to the canvas. Joe mouths the words "Don't even think about it", then leaves the the ring and walks backwards up the ramp not taking his eyes off Daniels, who is looking back with an angry look on his face.**

I'm glad to see Kid being more active in XWL, not too shabby. Daniels runs his mouth about last week and Joe but Joe comes out to represent those fatties! I liked Joe's part about how Daniel has become obsessed with his streak and how he's all about wrestling. Daniels with his new attitude which the fans certainly don't like as things get heated in the ring. Daniels trying to attack Joe and Joe shrugs it off like it's nothing, good co-promo from you guys.
Orton vs Kofi.
It was a pretty entertaining match with Kofi trying his best to hold his own but Orton just stays one step ahead of him. And my god that finish was a thing of beauty, looked so cool. Good showing on both sides.

Why's she back? Didn't she quit? Wasn't she forced to quit because of Vickie Guerrero constantly overlooking her for title shots and overlooked her when it came to booking actual talented wrestlers, and instead made her waste her talent on beating up losers and failed models. And for once, you people are actually right. And in the time that I've been gone, I've beaten everyone around the world that's worth beating. First I went to Canada, where they had me face allegedly a greatest female brawler of this generation Jamie D, and though she looks exactly like a pre-op transsexual, I walked in there and beat her slash him, I beat that shim at their own game. Then I thought maybe there's someone over in merry old England that might be able to even challenge me. And I found someone I heard a lot about I found Gladiator Star "Inferno", and I'm ashamed to say that I feel victim to all of her hype, because when I stepped into the ring with her, I saw that she wasn't great force she was made out to be, all she was, was just another women who thought wrestling would be a shortcut to stardom, and hopefully I slapped some sense into her.
And when I was about to head out I bumped into someone else I thought I recognised, and she walked up to me and asked for my autograph. She told me her name and then it clicked. Her name was Genevieve El. And the funny thing is, she told that I'm her favourite wrestler. She told me that the fact that her own sister getting a title shot while I didn't, is a disgrace to this sport. And then I signed her photograph, and made my way all across Europe. I went to France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Russia, and there wasn't even one person even worth stepping into the ring with, so I packed my bags and I went to Mexico and beat La Amapola and Sexy Star, and if she was either of those things maybe she'd of made it to the big time instead of hiding behind a stupid mask, working for a company of poor and low in quality all of their shows and done in the same old tiny arena each and every week. Then after that, I flew to other side of the world to Japan where everyone was speaking about one woman, who's supposedly the greatest female wrestler of all-time, Jaguar Yokata. And everyone's said...well I don't know what they said because I don't speak the language. But I went into her arena, under her rules, and after forty-five gruelling minutes I walked out once again with my hand held in victory, as I proved to the entire world that I am truly the greatest female wrestler alive today. And three nights ago I made my heroic return to where it all began for Madison Rayne, the Eagles Club in Berwyn, Illinois, at the latest SHIMMER event. Where I took on the champion, my namesake Madison Eagles. And surprise surprise, guess who came out on top once again. ME.
And then directly after that, in my private locker room, my phone started ringing, and it was Mick Foley, pleading with me, to come back to XWL, as part of the Breakdown brand. And he guaranteed me, that it won't be the same as last time, because unlike Vickie. Mick Foley actually cares about this company, and obviously he wants the top talent to be on the top brand. And that's exactly where I come in. As I'm undoubtly the greatest female wrestler around today, Mick new that he needed to get me on his show, and he assured me, that in due time I will get that title shot that I truly deserve, and as XWL's number one undefeated "Diva" I can tell you that I truly do deserve that title shot, but I guess that's why they call me the Queen Bee of X...W...L.
***As Madison finishes talking she exits off the camera left, as Breakdown goes to a break***
Oh wtf Madison is back! :O Odd seeing Madison seemingly being nice to Hemme, nevermind. Classic bitchy Madison being a bitch bitch, I like the way you did that showing off her bitchy personality. Awesome way with Madison explaining what she's done in her time away from XWL, very creative. As a whole this is a fantastic promo showing how well you capture Madison's personality and even going through all of the people she has beaten while she was gone. Looking forward to seeing what's next for Madison.

Here with me at this moment of time is non other than Mr Paparazzi himself, Alex Shelley. Alex, congratulations on a great comeback to this company. Can we get your thoughts on your return to XWL last week and your thoughts on your match?
[Shelley]: What a return it was huh? Who would've thought that so many people would remember little ol' me, but the fans showed their appreciation and welcomed me back with open arms as I made my way down to the ring. That's when it hit me, the fear set in, the hairs on the back of my neck stood to attention... I'm not going to lie, my bowels released a little... Not proud of that. All of this was thanks to the sight of my opponent slowly making his way to me... Every step he took made me feel stick to my stomach... My opponent, non other than the rat Boy Wonder himself Connor O Brian
[Shelley]: I don't know if you have ever faced somebody that shares similarities with rats, but it is very distracting. You don't know what he has been nibbling on before the show, with his furry bits getting everywhere eurgh... Anyway, it turns out that all my worries were not necessary, as I put on a performance that the Pied Piper himself would be jealous of. Not only did I defeat Connor O Brian, but I did it in typical Alex Shelley Fashion. To be perfectly honest with you, I was expecting a lot more of a fight from O' Brian, but it turns out he couldn't cut the cheese.
[JB]: Cut the cheese? That is just awful
[Shelley]: Yeah I suppose it was a little cheesey. Oh I did it again!
[JB]: Let's move on to a new topic. I've heard some rumours backstage that you're working on a little something to bring to XWL and that you have an announcement for all of us. Alex, can you tell us what it is?
[Shelley]: There will be more on my announcement in the coming weeks, I can't say much yet as nothing is set in stone. But the ball is rolling, word is spreading and heads are spinning. Once this information is released to the World Wrestling Universe, y'know what scratch that; the ENTIRE Universe will be turned upside down. The streets will go crazy with excitement. All of the fans, marks and smarks scattered across the globe will flood these shows, with praise and love... It truly is a wonderful thing that we are doing. In fact, I've overheard that I am being considered for a Nobel Prize... Just throwing that out there.

*Both Shelley And JB Look to the side of them, to see a very familiar face walking towards them*
[Nash]: Wait a minute! Now this isn't where I parked my car.
[Shelley]: Maybe you should've made that left turn at Albuquerque.
[JB]: Kev, we haven't seen you in XWL for a while. Wait, are you part of the announcement? What exactly are you two working on?
[Nash]: Wow, this guy is a sharp one. JB, you need to stop worrying about this, all will be revealed in the next few weeks. What we're doing is all in the best interests for XWL, rating will go through the roof and merchandise will sell like hot cakes. Hell, we might even be able to get you a date! But don't quote me on that, I am afterall not a miracle worker. Oh... And you don't need to worry about me being here , as my appearance here tonight is 100% Authorised.
[Shelley]: As a matter of fact, after I finish my match with Shelton Benjamin tonight, we are going to come backstage and discuss the possibilities for our little project. So you're just going to have to sit tight and wait just like everybody else. No sneak peeks, or leaks of information. Now if you would excuse us, I have a match that I need to be getting ready for and big Kev has some errands of his to run.

First off I wanna say yaaaaay Alex Shelley! I know how big of a fan you are of him so of course your promos as him will be as good as possible which this was. You capture Shelley's eccentric personality perfectly, and I loved the bit where he was talking about the monster that is Conor O'Brian. I didn't expect to see Nash there but it seems there's a big project in the works behind the scenes, I wonder what that is Great promo Shuggz, as usual.

*Breakdown returns from commercial to see Randy Orton stood in his locker room after his victory over Kofi Kingston earlier tonight* *Orton is pacing back and forth when somebody knocks on his locker room door, and enters the room. Orton turns around to see who it is*

*The camera pans and reveals breakdown General Manager Mick Foley*
[Mick Foley] Randy Orton...Impressive win over Kofi earlier. But I'm not here about that. I'm sure you've heard that at Unforgiven Wade Barrett is defending his Intercontinental Championship in a gauntlet. The XWL Management will be picking the top 5 contenders to face Wade Barrett for the title.
[Randy Orton] Whats your point?
[Mick Foley] Well, My point is over the recent weeks you've notched up some impressive victory's. Including the one tonight, right here in your home town of St Louis,Missouri. All of us in XWL Management have come up with a shortlist of names of who will be taking on Barrett at Unforgiven. It was a long and hard process to narrow it down to the most deserving contenders. We believe due to your recent win streak over the last few week, that you are a top contender for Wade's Intercontinental Title. Therefore, I congratulate you and want to wish you good luck, in the gauntlet at Unforgiven.
*Orton doesn't say anything, but instead smirks as he knows this his chance to get at rival Wade Barrett*

Randy Orton Promo.
A short promo that did what it was supposed to, delivering the news that Randy Orton is going to be in the Gauntlet for the IC title at Unforgiven. Good reasoning to give Orton the title match which should be interesting, it should be cool to see Barrett and Orton finally go at it possibly after all of the back and forth attacks and wars of words.
