Jerry "The King" Lawler: Just how I want to start off the night.....

*As Cody Rhodes enters the ring, he calls for a microphone, and he wastes zero time in speaking.*


[Cody Rhodes]
First off, I would like to thank you all for not illegally sneaking into my country unlike all of your friends in family. Last week The Resistance proved how strong we really are. Chris Hero destroyed Edge right here in this very ring. We have once again backed a word, as I will continue to do to prove why I should be the Breakdown GM. Now, I would like to say a few things. Recently, a lot of things have been going around here. The nWo has come to our company! Justin Gabriel has earned himself a World Heavyweight Championship match. Superstars like Christian, James Storm, and Davey Richards continue to break out! Rhino has made his way over to XWL, and Kurt Angle continues to embarrass himself by getting arrested. I mean, even The Undertaker himself has signed over to Breakdown! The former United States Champion! The former Intercontinental Champion! The former Mr. Money in the Bank! You know what all of these things make me think?


[Cody Rhodes]
I think it is absolutely hideous and disgusting, just like Mexico! I mean, let's take a look at the differences. Your government is corrupt, just like Mick Foley's management! Well, I bet you people are too "stupdio" to know what I'm saying. So let me speak in your language. *Cody talks very slowly as the crowd continues to jeer him.* El corrupto! El stupido! El loco! Rick Perry has more logical ideas than you people! It's appalling! You know who else is stupid? Edge! Week after week he comes down to the ring and disrespects me. Then, either I beat him, or Chris Hero beats him! Edge just simply won't learn his lesson. Then, guys like John Cena think then can just come down to my show, and try to attack my superstars like The Rock? You know, I bet you people like John Cena. I bet you people LOVE John Cena! Yeah, doesn't surprise me. Your brains are so simply and undeveloped like America's children, so you eat up all his little catch phrases and corny jokes. It's dirty and filthy countries like this and stupid people like all of you that make me fear my safety. Speaking of that, another similar thing between Breakdown and Mexico, is the unsafe conditions! On this show, guys like Edge are trying to injure me, and here? Well, quite frankly, I'm surprised I haven't been kidnapped yet.

*The crowd continues to furiously boo Cody as he calls for a bag from his bag giver.*




Jerry "The King" Lawler: What does Cody have planned now?


[Cody Rhodes]
I just wish..... I could put a paper big over this entire nation. I wish I could put a paper bag over this show. I have tried and tried to save this show over the past few months, yet, the superstars here continue to resist it, no pun intended. You people try and do the same. To be honest, it's a shame I have to waste all of my"Dashing" breath on you people. Because, let's face it, you people have far from pleasant breaths. I need to put on extra fragrance and deodorant to make sure I didn't have to smell any of you. Yet, back to my main point. I am beginning to watch my show crumble underneath my feat. Guys like The Undertaker, Justin Gabriel, and John Cena think they can come over from Redemption and own it. This is my show! This is the Resistance's show! This is no longer Mick Foley's show. Things are run much differently now. Just ask Edge, who I plan on finishing off at Over the Limit.


[Cody Rhodes]
As for this paper bag, it is to represent the darkness that has fallen over my show. I plan to cover it up. I plan on cleansing this show of people like Mick Foley and Edge. I want the lights to shine here again. I want the birds to sing. I want the grass to grow. I want the sun to sparkle. I want to restore hope in the minds of our superstars. I want to ensure the safety of our valuable talent like The Rock, Dolph Ziggler, and Wade Barrett. I want to exterminate the termites like Edge, Justin Gabriel, Brian Kendrick, Ted DiBiase, and The Undertaker. Of course, there is hope. There is always hope when The Resistance is in charge. I just hope John Laurinitis realizes that, even though that vermin CM Punk is a disrespectful ingrate to him. At Final Stand, it will be time for Mr. Laurinitis to make the right call, but for now, it is time to prove it. By doing so, I will eliminate each and every single one of those superstars. Starting with the one that just won't go away; Edge.

[Cody Rhodes]
Yet, I won't just stop with my superstars. I will also have a crusade to cleanse the XWL Universe. Baggers, pull out the worst one you can find in the crowd, as broad as that is.

*Most of the crowd boos Cody as his baggers search around ringside to find someone in the crowd to bring in the ring. A lot of fans in the front jump up and with their arms in the air, trying to get picked. Eventually, they pick out a man wearing a Ted DiBiase t-shirt and they have security escort him to the ringside area. The man walks up the steps, and raises his arms and smiles before entering the ring. Cody fires away with a command.*


[Cody Rhodes]
Put this bag on him.

*The baggers take the bag from Cody and give it to the fan. He shrugs and puts it on.*


[Cody Rhodes]
It's nice to see one of you people is somewhat intelligent. Now, I have a few questions for you. I'll try to keep it simple, so you can understand. First, what is your name?

[Fan]
Carlos!

*The crowd cheers Carlos as Cody doesn't seem impress with the man, not surprisingly.*


[Cody Rhodes]
Judging by your t-shirt, you're a Ted DiBiase fan, for some reason, correct?

[Carlos]
Si.

*The crowd cheers for Ted DiBiase as a smirk from Carlos can be seen from the mouth hole. Suddenly, Cody is seen talking to one of his baggers. It seems like he says something and Spanish, and Cody begins to ask his next question.*


[Cody Rhodes]
Why on earth would you be a fan of him? Or ¿Por.... qué.... ibah... a ser... un fan de él?

[Carlos]
Debido a que Ted es el mejor!

*The crowd pops for Carlos, and Cody clearly has no idea what he said.*

[Cody Rhodes]
Mark, what did he say?

[Bagger-Mark]
Because Ted is the best! For you're next question, Cody......

*Mark whispers something to Cody.*


[Cody Rhodes]
Why? Do you think Ted is the better half of our old team? Or..... ¿Por qué? ¿Cree.... usted.... que... Ted.. es el me-dio mejor de.. new-stro equipo... vie-jo?

[Carlos]
Él no es un quejica como oyu!

*The crowd pops as Cody is once again confused.*

[Mark]
Cody..... he said he's not a complainer like you.....

*Rhodes is outraged by Carlos's comment and gets right in his face. He throws off his bag and slaps him in the face. He orders security to escort him out of the ring, and they follow orders. Carlos is surprised by Cody's actions, who is still outraged in the ring.*


[Cody Rhodes]
How the hell do you think you are? I'm Cody Rhodes! It's bad enough that my own superstars disrespect me, but now the fans? Maybe I shouldn't be slapping the fans, but you shouldn't be making a mockery of me and my career! This is my show, and I'd be damned if any of you Mexicans ruin it! There should be tighter border patrol up north, to keep people like you and Edge out of my country! I've had enough with all of you people! Let me put it this way. Estás todos inútiles, horrible, y derrochadores lifeforms! Soy el rey de este espectáculo, y que las personas estén mejor aprenderlo!

*Cody drops the microphone in fury as the crowd starts a "You Suck!" chant. As he leaves the ring, he walks over to Carlos. He begins to threaten him some more, but suddenly.....*



*Cody's jaw drops as he glances over to the stage, but quickly hops the barrier. This mistake was costly, because Edge wasn't coming out from the stage. In fact, he was sitting in the crowd! The crowd goes insane, and Cody doesn't even realize it. As he walks up some steps, Edge finally stands up and waves at him. Rhodes's eyes get even wider, as he tries to start the other way, but Edge quickly catches up to him and hits him in the head!*

Jim Ross: Edge is a pissed off man, and he's coming after Cody Rhodes tonight!

*Edge throws Cody over the barricade, and he flops on the floor. The GM rolls into the ring, but of course The "Rated R Superstar" is right on his tail. Edge stands over a down Cody, who pleads with him. Edge nods his head and extends his hand. Both men smirk, and Cody has a sigh of relief.*

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Wait! This can't be happening!

*The crowd begins to boo as Edge raises Cody's hand, but in vintage fashion, he throws it down and kicks Cody in the gut! The crowd pops and Rhodes gets drilled with the Edgecution! Edge has an angered look in his eye as Cody is left down and out of the mat. Edge brushes his hands through his hair and stares at his rival. He looks around the to the crowd, who are going nuts. He then walks back to the corner and sets up for the Spear.....*

Jim Ross: Don't do it Edge! You'll be fired!

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Come on Edge, just this one time!

*Cody just begins to stir and Edge is getting ready to strike, but Layla rushes down as fast as she can! She rolls Cody out of the ring leaving the crowd disappointed. The Resistance flee from the scene, leaving a crazed Edge in the ring.*

*Breakdown returns from a commercial break and is quickly taken where JB is standing by.*

JB: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome my guests at this time, the team of AJ Styles and Kazarian, Fortune. I just want to say congratulations on your impressive win last week against Carlito and Hunico. My question is after a win like that, are there doubters and naysayers that say that this team was a one-off thing and nothing more?

AJ Styles: First things first, Kazarian and myself are still a team. Even though we aren't in tag team action this week, we are still are still a well-oiled machine and nothing or nobody is gonna get in the way of that. We are Fortune and we are here to stay whether the XWL Universe likes us or hates us.

Kazarian: Me and AJ my have different views and see things differently but the one thing that we agree on is that we do what ever it takes to win the match. We do have each others back and we can count on each other when things get tough.


JB: My next question is for you AJ, what are your thoughts on your opponent tonight, Davey Richards?

AJ Styles: Not much to say other that the fact that he's as brutal as they come. One thing that does work in my favor is that Rhino comes out of nowhere and delivers the Gore to him like he's done in the past week. If Davey doesn't keep his eyes on “The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles, he will know know what it feels like to be “Phenomenal.”

JB: Kazarian, what are your thoughts on Kofi Kingston, who just happens to be your opponent tonight?

Kazarian: Well, I think Kofi is a good competitor I have seen a few of his matches. His trouble in paradise is devastating but that’s why I have a plan to stop that. As long as i can wear him down, he won't get his chance.

JB: My final question to the both of you is regarding the tag team division or lack thereof. Why are there not much teams for you to challenge, let alone championships to challenge for?

AJ Styles: Well, to be honest, shouldn't you be asking the higher ups that question. If you want an answer from me then I'll give you my opinion on the matter and I'm pretty sure that Kazarian will agree with me. The reason there aren't many teams is because people are scared to fight against Kazarian and myself, as the old saying goes, “Alone we are great, together we are Phenomenal.”

*Before Kazarian can respond, he is cut off by JB.*

JB: That's not how that goes.

*Both AJ and Kaz look at each other and back at JB, both with serious expressions on their faces.*

JB: Nevermind.

Kazarian: Now back to what I was going to say before I was so rudely interrupted. I couldn't agree more. Here's another way to look at it, “Alone we are tough but together we are unbeatable.”

*Both men nod at each other in agreement.*

JB: Thank you for your time.

*AJ and Kaz walk off camera as Breakdown goes to a quick commercial break.*

[When Breakdown returns from a commercial break, Alex Shelley’s theme hits and the pumped up crowd shows their excitement by letting loose with some near deafening cheers as one of their favorite superstars prepares to make his way out.]



[Alex Shelley steps onto the stage still donning his mask to hide the effects of Kurt Angle pouring dye on him, and he stands there for a couple of seconds taking everything in. The people cheer even louder when he does his signature gun taunt with pyro exploding behind him as he shouts ‘bang’. He slaps a couple of high fives while he walks down the ramp and when he gets to the ring side, he hops onto the top rope and taunts again pointing to the palm of his hand and you can see him grin under his mask as the fans continue to cheer in support. He climbs down from the ropes and gets into the ring and once he’s handed a mic he waits a little for the noise to die down before he begins to say whatever it is that’s on his mind.]

{Alex Shelley}
So tonight... on this very night I was ordered to attend some type of counseling session because this Canadian Judge thought it would be the best way to settle this little dispute between Kurt Angle and I. But what the Canadian Judge doesn't seem to get is that we're wrestlers and unless you’re Edge and Lita, non-sexual affairs are typically handled inside of the ring, not in some cramped room with walls covered with paintings of nature and motivational posters and a boring therapist who just drones on and on and an admittedly comfy couch, but in this very ring. But that Canadian Judge was right when it came to one thing: this little feud of ours has gotten out of control to the point where we might as well be in one of those wild and crazy soap operas with the hot lead actress and her weird looking husband. And I'm not just saying that because I was a very successful actor in a past life, but I say it because for one reason or another no one seems to be taking us seriously as wrestlers anymore. They’ve gotten fed up with our hijinks you see, what used to be a humorous couple of minutes during a show full of serious business, is now a groan inducing couple of minutes during a show full of serious business. You see what appears to be the norm around these parts isn’t the standard we upheld while going about our business and the lines people drew and the boxes they expected us to remain inside of weren’t strong enough boundaries to keep us contained and that’s what the problem is. They want us to be like them, perfect mirror images of them, yet at the same time we want to be doing our own thing away from the mirror and far away from them and the conflict of interest that those conflicting interests causes is what causes us to get those sideways glances when we walk down the halls. Are all of you people following me right now?

{Crowd}

To put it simply for you all, if you aren’t talking about sticking your foot up someone’s ass…

or in lieu of words, just walking around with a look on your face that says: ‘severely constipated’ …

then you aren’t operating within the norms set, and people don’t like that. Somewhere along the way having fun was frowned upon, but after losing my Xtreme Championship to Chris Sabin way back when and having my brief taste of success, fun was really all I wanted to have. And I was having it, I won’t lie. Tic-tac-toe, races, intense debates about Santa Clause, those were the days we’ll all laugh and reminisce about as we watch the ‘Best Of Alex Shelley’ DVD. But to have it come to the point where I’m getting arrested and Canadian Judges are trying to have me counselor’d? That just can’t work, because if there was ever a man to walk this Earth that didn’t need a criminal record in foreign lands or counseling, it would be myself. I can see what the problem is though, it’s as clear as a sunny Sunday morning on a tropical island somewhere out there in the tropics: it’s you Kurt. This whole thing between us used to be enjoyable, we had our laughs… but then you just had to take it too far, Kurt… you just had to do this to me. You forced me to walk around this place with this mask on after you completely ruined my hair and face with that damn dye of yours at Xtreme Xmas for no reason at all. After months you finally let your true colors show, and they weren’t red, white and blue because everybody knows by now that you just don’t care about this country and its people, but the color was just green. Green with the envy that’s been bubbling inside of you ever since you first laid eyes on me and it’s not just because of the way I excel at children’s board games and it wasn’t only because of the way I could make my hair look amazing without having to repeat after I lathered and rinsed, there was something else that bothered you: I’m young, Kurt, and let’s face it, you’re not. I have father time on my side, while the ticks on your clock are running out. But I’m not going to pity you for being old at least not anymore, because you crossed a line that you shouldn’t have been and I’m going to get my revenge, and it will be sweet. Not as sweet as Mother’s homemade apple pies, but sweet nonetheless. And before the show I was able to put together a picture of what you will look like after I’m done with you at Over the Limit:



{Alex Shelley}
I’m challenging you to a match, Kurt, because this feud… this rivalry… this whatever the hell it is that you want to call this thing has to end at some point and it needs to end sooner rather than later. And at this point we each only want one thing: to embarrass each other in front of thousands. You want to get this mask off of me so the world can see what you’ve done and laugh at me as much as they’ve laughed at you for all these months, and I want the rest of your hair off your head because I want to make you feel and look as old as you are, and the winner of our match will get their desires fulfilled. There was once a point when the only thing I wanted from you, Kurt, was your title match against Wade Barrett because we all knew that you would just go on to lose to him at a pay per view for a second time in a row and it was about time that someone with talent try their hand at ending his reign, but you didn’t want that. You wanted to go on and just let Barrett beat on you again, because maybe you actually thought you would win? Well that’s just silly, it’s far more likely that you enjoyed the first beat down he gave you so much that you wanted seconds, and there’s nothing wrong with wanting seconds. Sometimes you’re just still hungry. But just like a fat kid reaching for a second piece of cake, you reaching for that second title match just had to be stopped, it wouldn’t be morally right for me to just sit back and let you satisfy your greed, but you refused my help. It’s that selfishness that led to Tyson Kidd being stuck into our match at November to Remember and we all know how that turned out. And it’s that selfishness that has brought us to where we are today. Funny thing is…



[Kurt Angle’s theme starts blaring through the speakers and the people instinctively boo to show their dislike for the Olympic gold medalist. But Shelley scowls clearly not appreciating being interrupted by Angle.]

{Alex Shelley}
Cut that damn music off!

[The music stops and the boos end along with it and ‘Thank You Alex’ chants arise. Shelley begins pacing back and forth in the ring and it seems that Angle attempting to interrupt him rubbing even worse than we originally thought. He finally manages to calm down enough to continue with the promo.]

{Alex Shelley}
And that is why these people just can’t stand you, Angle, and it’s not because they think you’re a bad guy, it’s because you try to be the bad guy and you fail so badly at it that it brings a tear to my eye, it really does. What were you trying to prove by interrupting me just then? That what you had to say was more important? That you were bored and had nothing better to do than come out here? Well newsflash! Nobody really cares what you have to say when the only thing that comes out of your mouth is something condescending and negative. You come out here almost every damn week and insult the people who were once on your side, Angle. They used to like you, they used to respect you and look up to you and idolize you, but out of the blue you decided to turn on them and spit right in their faces for no better reason other than ‘duh… I just felt like it.’ You come out here and put them down with your weird faces, corny lines, tired phrases, and faux bad boy shtick almost as if you were reading from a handbook written by The Rock or Dolph Ziggler but you just can’t pull it off. And if making you go bald is what it takes to knock you off your high horse and destroy your superiority complex, then so be it. I’ll do it for the people and I’ll also do it for the laughs.

[Shelley points to the crowd as he says that and they cheer to show that they’re behind him. Just then Angle’s theme hits once again:]



[The crowd boos the impending entrance of Angle but Shelley once again comes to the rescue:]

{Alex Shelley}
I said cut that music off! Angle don’t you get it? How could you possibly be this dense and this slow? I don’t want to hear what you have to say because I don’t care about what you have to say because what you have to say is most likely nothing but a bunch of senseless ramblings that only a man of your age could pull off. The only thing that matters is what you have to say in regards to my Hair vs. Mask challenge, but you don’t have to come out here to respond to it. You can slip a note under the door of our General Managers office while he shaves his legs, or if could spray paint it on the side of a building to show how much you really care. But let’s not kid ourselves here, Kurt, because if there’s anything you love as much as milk, extra-marital affairs and excessive drinking, it’s proving that you’re better than everyone else, and you want to prove that you’re better than me because no one takes your ‘victory’ at Xtreme X-mas seriously. At Over the Limit you’ll have the chance to show everyone that you are actually better than Alex Shelley and in the process you may get to de-mask me and bring down upon me the ultimate shame. But that’s a pretty big if, because the last time we faced you had to cheat to win after I nearly had you beat, and the time before that Tyson Kidd stole what would have and should have been a sure victory for me. What I’m trying to say is that I have your number, Angle, and I’m wise to your tricks and come Over the Limit, you will be bald, there’s just no way around it.

[This time Kurt Angle comes out and then his music starts up when he gets on the stage:]



[Angle pauses at the ramp, letting the "You Suck" chants soak in, not affected by them. Angle then pulls out a mic from his pocket and begins to speak, not moving towards the ring.]

[[Kurt Angle]]
You think you can hold me back Shelley? You can stop me from coming out here? Well you can't because I'm coming out here to tell the truth and nothing can stop the power of the truth, it's true, it's true. While you may think that you're swaying the people over to your side, I'm sure that the people still see things my way. I am an Olympic Gold Medalist ever since 1996 when I represented this very country and won a gold medal, Shelley, I didn't get a 'lucky' victory over you at X-Treme Xmas, I'm just better than you. And all of these fans know as well as I do that I AM better than you.

[The fans are booing, clearly not agreeing with Angle but Angle carries on as if they were agreeing with him.]

[[Kurt Angle]]
See! Those are the boos of a winner. These people love me, Shelley, and you think I'm jealous because you're younger than I am? My past years are behind me now Shelley, I made use of them while they were still around. I accomplished more than you ever will in those years, but now I'm even better than I was then. The saying that you can't teach an old dog new tricks couldn't be more wrong because with every year I learn more moves and improve the moves I already know Shelley. I figure at this rate, in 2020 I'll be one wrestling machine!... Not that I'm not already one. Alex we both know that the only reason you want to shave me bald is because you want all the ladies that surround me after each show, but I hate to ruin this for you, but, I will still look better than you even if I do go bald!

[The fans laugh as an image of Angle bald pops up on the screen, clearly edited to make Angle look fat. Angle turns around to see it as well and his face turns red with anger because he lifts the mic back up.]

[[Kurt Angle]]
That is not me! That man or thing is obviously someone else, look at this body, I drink more milk than a cow could produce to make this, I don't look anything like that guy! Shelley no one here is amused so whatever you're telling the people in the back to do, you can stop it right now because no one is enjoying this. Let's just take a look at something people do enjoy!

[The tron quickly switches to the end of the match at Xtreme Xmas. We see the bag of die burst open onto Shelley and we don't get a clear glimpse of his face, but we do see him with the die on him more than we have before and Shelley is not pleased.]

[[Kurt Angle]]
Now that is entertainment! Why do you look so mad, Shelley? I thought you liked to entertain the fans and they clearly look entertained to me!

[The camera gets some quick shots of the younger fans in attendance tonight:]



[And contrary to Angle’s claims they don’t seem to be very entertained by his shenanigans in the slightest.]



[The camera’s back on Shelley now who is currently pacing the ring while he pieces together what he’ll say next.]

{Alex Shelley}
Kurt, if there was ever a reason for me to be mad at you it would be because of how I allowed you to come out here, on my time mind you, to talk and you didn’t say absolutely anything worth hearing. I mean how is that even possible? You were speaking for… what, one maybe two… three minutes? Well, I really wish I could get those handful of minutes back there’s plenty of more productive things I could have done in the meantime: watch paint dry on a tree, watch a candle burn out, watch a watch tick the seconds away... and none of those things would even come close to being as boring as listening to you talking about whatever it was you were talking about. I’m pretty certain now that one of your ‘I’s’ doesn’t stand for interesting, that’s for damn sure. Let’s consult the jury on this one: Do you people care about the number of women Angle supposedly has on the side?

{Crowd}
No!

{Alex Shelley}
Or how much milk he has to drink and eat because he can’t afford solid food on his salary?

{Crowd}
No!

{Alex Shelley}
Or the new tricks he does to old dogs?

{Crowd}
No!

{Alex Shelley}
Well I think… I think we should be a little concerned about that bit… that doesn’t sound ethical at all, PETA should definitely be given a call. But the point still stands, Kurt, there’s only one thing these people and myself care about and that’s whether or not you’ll actually agree to go one on one with me, Alex Shelley, in a Hair vs. Mask match at Over the Limit. But before you agree to it, because we all know you will, but before you do agree I want you to realize that you’re basically agreeing to the death of the rest of that precious thinning hair of yours that you have sitting on your head, and it’s a real shame too… just when that bald patch was starting to fill in again. But that’s life for you, Kurt, we all experience a few disappointments here and there. But the biggest one for you will be that you’ll never know what I look like under this mask until all the dye is gone, and that unknown will cause you to never be fully satisfied with what you did at Xtreme Xmas.

[[Kurt Angle]]
Shelley. I'm going to accept your match. But it is not because I'm going to lose, it's because the match will be an exact repeat of Xtreme Xmas and when I unmask you you'll be filled with shame. And I've been bald before, Shelley, and it does not feel good so that is why I'm going to make sure that it does not happen again! Shelley, we've had more competitions than I can even count, but do you remember the result of all of them whether I won or lost? You ended up in pain Shelley. So whether I win or lose at Xtreme Xmas you're going to be left on the ground suffering. So if you really want to go through with this match, I'd like to inform you I'm not going to be attending your funeral!

[Shelley doesn’t respond immediately and instead looks at Angle for a few seconds and then he looks at the people before rolling out of the ring. He slowly walks up the ramp as he says his next bit and heads right towards Angle who still stands on the top of the stage.]

{Alex Shelley}
There was a time, long long ago, when I respected you, Kurt, I know it’s hard to believe but it’s true, oh it’s true. But after spending so much time with you, well I’m sorry to say it, but the respect that I had for you is fading faster than your glory years did. But you redeemed yourself a little bit by accepting the match, and now I kind of feel sorry for you a little bit. But then I remember that you’re the reason I have this mask over my head, and that pity transforms into a sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach that I don’t think will go away until I can see the sunlight shine off your bald head. And I’m sorry to say it but these people are right when it comes to one thing:

[Shelley is at on the stage now and he gets right in Angle’s face to say this next part]

You suck.

[Shelley walks by Angle to leave it at that but Angle’s words stops him in his tracks.

Where do you think you're going? You're going to insult me and then... leave? You're as much of a coward as I thought you were then. Clearly you can't back up your own words or you'd be doing it. My head won't have any sunlight shining off of it because even you said it I PUT you into that mask and I forced you to have to wear it. If it wasn't for me your hair would still be perfectly fine, it's true, it's true. And the fact is I am better than you Shelley, you can make all the excuses you want and ask these people any questions you want but that doesn't change that when we step face to face in the ring I'll kick your ass. I'm not getting worse because I'm older, I'm getting better. I have had to compete with the type of people you'll never get the chance to step in the ring with. Shelley when I make you tap out to my ankle lock and beg for mercy, you're going to be eating every word you're saying right now. It's true, it's damn true!

[Shelley turns back around and gives Angle a hardened stare, and when he speaks his voice is barely above a whisper.]

Believe whatever you want, Angle, but when the dust settles at Over the Limit the better man will have his hand raised and the loser will have his head shaved. I’m sure you can figure out who is who.

[This time Angle doesn’t stop Shelley when he walks away and he stands on the stage looking irritated with the Shelley chants that have arisen as the screen fades to black.]

Santino v.s Alex Riley

Santino hits the ring. Hes power walking , as usual. And the crowd loves him. chants of san-tin-o can be heard in the crowd.

Santino , then plays the trumpet for the crowd. The crowd replies with trumpet playing of their own. Soon Alex Rileys music hits.

**Both men are now in the ring facing off. The bell rings , and they beging to circle eachother. They lockup , but santino quickly grabs a side headlock on Riley. Riley tries to throw Santino off , but Santino just clinches around the head even tighter. Riley goes down to 1 knee. He quickly pops back up , and throws Santino. into the ropes. Santino bounces off , and bounces back right into a huge clothesline. Riley smiles at the crowd. Then riley grabs Santino by the arm , and applies a side armbar. Santino screams in agony , As Riley wrenches the arm even more. Santino crawls twoard the ropes , but Riley pulls him back to the center. It seem santino is going to tap , but just then Santino Rolls through , where hes facing A-ry. He kicks Riley in the head from the prone position. Riley is dazed , but hes still holding on. Santino kicks again , and this time Riley lets go . Riley shakes it off , and kicks Santino in the stomach , as Santino throws a right hand. Riley lifts Santino into a suplex , but santino falls in behind Riley and stirkes with a dropkick to A-ry's back. Riley drops to a knee , as santino bounces off the ropes , and into a dropkick to the side of Rileys head. Santino hooks the leg , and goes for an ealry victory. Riley kicks out at the sound of 2 from the Ref. Santino then grabs a dazed A-ry , and connects with a northern lights suplex. Santino saultes to the crowd with his arms in a superhero like position. Riley gets to his feet , while Santino has his attention on the crowd.



** Santino still has his back to Riley , and Riley runs up beind Santino , and tosses him over the top. Santino lands hard on the outside. Alex Riley goes up the top rope. As santino struggles to his feet. Riley goes for a cross body off the top , But santino rolls out of the way. Which makes Riley land face first on the barricade. Santino points to his brain , as if to say "out smarted you on that one". Santino then lifts Riley up and tosses him into the barricade one more time. Riley is on the ground holding his throat , coughing for air. As the ref hits a count of 7. Riley gets back to his feet , and basically throws himself back in the ring. Santino is setting up for the Cobra. He starts the Cobra motion , and when Riley turns around , Santino goes for it , but misses. Riley ducks under , and he in return lifts Santino up for the Driver move that he has been calling the A-Bomb. It connects. He goes for a pin. 1...........2........................................




*KICKOUT* at 2 & 1/2. Riley seems frustrated that Santino got the shoulder up. Santino showing the size of his heart. Riley has a look on his face, as if hes thinking of what to do next.. He goes for the top rope. Riley salutes the crowd then leaps off for a diving elbow. Santino rolls out of the way right before impact. Riley clearly had the wind knocked out of him. Now Santino is going to work. He lands a few stomps to Rileys gut , before hitting a fisherman suplex on A-ry.



Santino goes for the pin 1.......2.....kickout. Another nearfall , as now it seems Santino is the one frustrated. He pulls the Cobra sleeve out of his tights , and slips it on. He begins screaming "COBRAAA" , As riley gets to his feet he turns around , and Santino is charging him. Riley barley gets out of the way , and hits Santino with a drop toe hold. Santino struggles to get to his feet. He reverses a Riley kick , and throws him hard into the turnbuckle. Santino sets up in the opposite corner. He starts to charge Riley , but riley sidesteps the attack , and when Santino turns around dazed. Riley tosses him up onto his shoulders and connects with the move he's been calling the A-Ryde. Riley hooks the leg for the

ITS MY 1ST WRITEUP..I THINK I DID PRETTY GOOD. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK???

Some extremely short reviews over the last couple segments.

NWO Segment:
As the others said; with X-Pac on Redemption it doesn't make sense as the shows are in two different cities. And it's to complicated and hectic to do open promos like that in this type of set-up, but I like the idea and maybe with some ironing out and info regarding place, time, etc. it'll good. Just a honest mistake on the location deal and promo type!

Riley vs Santino:
Good first write up. Not to short or to long for a lower card match up on the weekly show and had decent action. Maybe explain which finisher is which as we as readers don't know what the Riley Bomb is in comparison to the A-Ryde. I'm assuming the A-Ryde is the TKO move. Besides that just some grammar things like capitalization and some formatting things but all in all a firs good attempt.

**Breakdown returns from a commercial break and we are backstage with "The American Wolf" Davey Richards. Davey is standing in the corridor backstage with a towel around his neck and is staring straight into the camera. Davey stares for a few moments before he opens his mouth to talk.**



Davey Richards:
Rhino, once again you decide to attack me for a reason that is unknown on Breakdown. I was scheduled to have a match but due to unforeseen circumstances the match didn't happen. I came out and I decided to talk about what you did to me the week before. I thought I would say a few things a hopefully you would get my warning, hopefully you would see it before this weeks show. After you signed for Redemption I thought that I would have a night free of Rhino attacking me from behind, or from the crowd, but I was wrong. I was GORE'd once again by you and I never expected it. I was once again taken backstage to the doctors room, I was told that I had suffered a lot of bruising to the ribs but I was told to go to the hospital to have an X-Ray to make sure that were not broken. I was just going to forget and go to the hotel to think about what happened, but I thought I should take the advice and go to the hospital. I had a X-Ray, and lucky enough it wasn't broken ribs, it was severe bruising. The doctor said that I should go rest and he would inform the XWL doctor about the results and he said something on the lines of me not being cleared to compete tonight. I was shocked, but I was angered that you could of cost me a few weeks of competing maybe longer, I was seriously pissed off at the possibility of you cutting short my XWL career. This Wolf is not ready to put on the shelf, this Wolf is not ready to sit on the sidelines and watch other wrestlers take my spot and my chances of glory.



Davey Richards:
Rhino, last week you may have Gore'd me, you may have hurt me, you may have got the upper hand on me for a second week but I just want you to realise that the warning I gave to you was not a joke, it was not some whisper in the wind, it was real and after my match if you do not show up when it ends, I will be making my way over to where Redemption is being held and I will get answers Rhino, I will get my revenge, if I have to kick your teeth down your throat, I will get what I came for. Rhino, you think you have got the better of me, you think that maybe I am some small fry that is going to show you off to be some beast, some man-beast you claim to me, but I am not, I am "The American Wolf" Davey Richards, I am one of the best wrestlers in XWL, I am one of the best wrestlers in the world and this Wolf will BITE BACK!! Rhino, I think you have got this food chain the wrong way around, I am not the prey, I am the predator and once more if I don't see you here on Breakdown, I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN!!!



Davey Richards:
Tonight, well in a few minutes I will stepping into that ring to face a top competitor in XWL, I will face AJ Styles. I heard what he said about me being hurt last week could give him the advantage, Well AJ I would like to think you are much smarter than to think that, yes I may have been hurt over the past couple of weeks, I may have gone against the doctors advice to pull out of my match tonight, I may have bruised ribs which will put a huge target on me, but don't think for one second that I am going to be any less of a challenge for you AJ. An Injured Wolf is still strong, an injured wolf is still a dangerous wolf and AJ I will show you just how strong I am when I take you to your limits tonight. AJ, I know in the past you have proven how strong, how resilient you are, I mean what you went through with Kevin Steen and how you came back after all that, I applaud your strength, I applaud your courage but tonight I will defeat you to continue the hunt. AJ be prepared as the HUNT IS ON!!!!!!



**Davey looks into the camera for a few moments before he starts to walk off, The camera follows Davey down the corridor and Davey's name is called out by a few agents, as it is time for Davey's match with AJ Styles. The camera follows Davey until they reach the the Gorilla position, we suddenly cut to ringside.**

** "The Phenomenal AJ Styles, entrance music plays throughout the arena and the fans start to cheer loudly for AJ. A few moment pass and AJ arrives with a big pop from the crowd. The pyros rain down as AJ starts making his way down to ringside. AJ handclaps a few fans before he makes it to the ring. He slides into the ring and climbs the turnbuckle and opens his arms out wide before he steps down and removes his jacket awaiting Davey Richards.









The fans roar with the sound of Davey's music, and a bigger pop is heard when Davey steps out and makes his way towards the ring. Davey casually handclaps a few of the fans before he makes it to the ring. Davey grabs a chair from by the announce table before he sets it up in the corner of the barricades. He climbs it and then the barricade and points to the sky as the fans chant his name. Davey turns and gets down and slides into the ring. Davey removes his towel and puts it on the top turnbuckle and the match is ready to begin.**

**Davey celebrates his win over AJ Styles. Davey climbs the turnbuckle and points to the sky once more as the fans cheer and chant for Davey.



Davey climbs out the ropes and jumps down off the apron before making his way up the ramp but he looks around checking to make sure there is no sign of Rhino. Davey then makes it the entrance before exiting to the backstage area. Davey is being followed by a cameraman all the back to the locker room. Davey turns around to talk.**

Davey Richards:
Looks like that son of a bitch isn't going to show up tonight, so it looks likes I am going to have to take a little trip over to Redemption to kick some ass and get some answers.

**Davey walks into the locker room and closes the door behind him as we cut to a video package of Dolph Ziggler.**



**We return from the video package and commercial break and we are shown a video of what happened during the break. It shows Davey Richards leaving the locker room then on his way to the parking lot before getting in his car and leaving the arena.**

Jim Ross:
Well King it looks like Davey was serious about getting some answers looks like he is going to tackle Mexico City traffic to get some answers and a slice of revenge.

Jerry Lawler:
Well he is a braver man than me JR, I wouldn't wanna tackle that traffic right now, plus I wouldn't wanna go mess with the Man-Beast Rhino. But Davey has got all the reason to do so.

[Rhodes Opener]
It was great how throughout the promo Cody had no regard for the feelings of the audience members with the way he just kept slamming them. The putdowns were good, and the bit with Carlos was funny and you slipping some Spanish into the seg showed effort and dedication. Nice twist of sorts with Edge showing up in the end and great to see that Resistance is still about with Layla popping up for the save.
Curious to see how Cody will respond to the attack.

[Fortune Seg]
Felt that Styles was the stronger of the two throughout the bit, but I appreciate you two keeping the tag team spirit alive by going as far as to mention in your seg that there isn’t much a division to compete in. Like how you were able to twist the reasoning to make it about you, by saying that teams are afraid of you. Didn’t quite understand this line unless I’m missing something: If Davey doesn't keep his eyes on “The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles, he will know know what it feels like to be “Phenomenal.” Though I did like the variation you put on an old saying by saying: “Alone we are great, together we are Phenomenal.” Good job by the two of you and hope you stick around as a team/alliance.

[Shelley/Angle Bit]
Great to see you two do a regular promo for what feels like the first time ever, but I feel like it was too little too late. I hope Over The Limit is the end and that both of you drop so that someone more respectable can have Shelley and Angle. I did like how Shelley poked fun at himself and Angle when he referenced the way people are feeling about what has been going on between the two of you and how it got out of control. I honestly feel that things were going great in the seg up until Angle came out, but I was able to make it through his part after what felt like forever. Interesting match announcement for Over the Limit as I can see the result going either way.

[Hogan & Pac]
It did feel rushed a bit and a promo like this would have worked better if you and X-Pac worked on it together or did it in a way where Hogan could make the proposition on Breakdown with X-Pac responding on Redemption. But other than that I did like where it was going with NWO seemingly in the recruiting phase so let’s how X-Pac responds to this.

[Richards on the Prowl]
Really enjoyed the promo with my favorite being the second paragraph where Davey got all aggressive. Loved the prey/predator part and I hope you both continue with the animal references (Rhino/Wolf) because that makes things fun to read. Great way to make Davey look tough by saying he’s competing against doctor’s orders, and also somewhat humble by giving Styles props. And now with Davey heading to Redemption business will surely pick up.
