*The theme of The Rated R Superstar plays and the crowd erupts into a chorus of cheers as Edge walks through the smoke, and out onto the stage.*



*Edge walks down the ramp, skipping his signature ramp taunt, and heads straight for the ring. He reaches the end of the ramp and walks over to the stairs, he heads up them and walks along the apron.*



*Edge enters the ring and grabs the mic laying in the middle of the ring. He raises the mic and begins to speak.*



[[Edge]]
I bet all of you are asking yourselves, "Why is Edge here?" I would be asking that too if I was still a member of Redemption but now that I have been traded to Breakdown, I feel like that question has answered it self. Why is Edge here? Because Edge is the newest member of Breakdown and I have reasons for being here. You see, about four or five days before the Pay-Per-View, I received a call from Mick Foley basically asking for help. I know Foley personally and I could tell he was being serious when saying this.

[[Edge]]
To make it simple, Foley wanted some backup against Cody Rhodes and the Resistance who have been causing chaos week after week. I was a little unsure about getting involved so I told Foley give me some time to think it over, I want to make the best decision possible. And with that, my decision was made at the pay-per-view when Mick Foley was basically in a five versus one match when all of a sudden... You Think You Know Me...



[[Edge]]
Now that I'm here, I know what I have got myself involved in and that is going against the Resistance. The Hero versus The Villians... This will be a war that Cody wished he had never started...



*The crowd boos loudly as the theme of the Breakdown GM "Dashing Cody Rhodes hits. He comes bursting out onto the stage, with a huge smile on his face.*



Jerry Lawler: Oh no, after that handicap match, what could he be thinking next?


[Cody Rhodes]
ATTENTION PLEASE.

*The crowd boos, but Cody ignores them and he begins to speak.*


[Cody Rhodes]
Now, it has come to my attention that you, Edge, have been causing some trouble in the back these past few weeks. You see, Mick Foley would accept that, but "Dashing" Cody Rhodes does not! But, that is besides the point. I wanted to welcome you officially to Breakdown. You were on Redemption for a while, holding the X-Treme title for an impressive reign of a month? Hey, it's more than me, but there is a reason for that. That is because R-Truth didn't show up for our title match and Mick Foley never did anything about it. I never got my Intercontinental Championship match against Randy Orton either, and Mick did nothing about that! So you know what, I aspire to be the exact opposite of Mick Foley! That is why I gave you a fair shot at the X-Treme Championship last week. Sure, Tyson Kidd was involved in the match, but what would be the difference if it was an Extreme Rules match?


[Cody Rhodes]
Edge, I've wanted to change this brand for a long time now. I feel like I've done a pretty damn good job, hell that's why I'm not even wearing my mask tonight. I trust that you and all of my other superstars will show some respect and not lay their hands on me, unlike last week. Now, Edge, I see you being someone who can change things up around here. I no longer want to deal with troublemakers like Eddie Guerrero and The Rock on my show anymore. I want people like Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler to be the stars of this show. That is why, Edge, I hope you can be like Alberto and Ziggler. I want you to play by the rules. Not the rules of Mick Foley where the entire damn show is corrupt; but my rules. Now, my rules are very simple. I have three of them. One; no question should go unanswered. Two; every wrestler needs to wrestle by the book and show respect for each other. And three; don't cross the boss! Now, Edge, you have broken the last one. I will give you one more shot to redeem yourself and join the likes of Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, and Wade Barrett.



*Cody smiles as he waits for an answer from Edge.*



[[Edge]]
So your basically saying I either have to turn my back on all the fans and basically do whatever makes you happy or become the Chavo Guerrero of Breakdown? Being Chavo doesn't sound too good to me but having you on my good side isn't that good either, Cody. So I think i'll continue being me because I like being me. What is being me you ask? Simple, being me is being the best. Being Me is being The Ultimate Opportunist, The Master Manipulator, and The Rated R Superstar. Former XWL World Heavyweight Champion and X-Treme Champion, two things you have never done, Cody Rhodes.



[[Edge]]
Now Cody, quit your complaining how you didn't get an Intercontinental Championship match or a X-Treme Championship match. The past is the past and your hanging onto the past which from the looks of it, you are doing pretty good right now but Cody, sooner or later things are going to go on a downward spiral and all your little plans and schemes will be done with. If I have to be the man who will ruin your plans, well, i'd be happy with that because once I'm done with you, I'm going to become World Heavyweight Champion again... and Oh yeah, if my championship match doesn't happen, I won't complain like you obviously would.


[Cody Rhodes]
First of all, Edge, you don't deserve a World Heavyweight Championship match. What have you even done? You just expect to walk on over to my brand and get a title shot? Well, that is not how I run my show! People need to earn their spots. Take Wade Barrett. He has run rough shot through everyone thrown in his path this year, and that is why he has a World Heavyweight Championship match. You, on the other hand, have a year full a failure. You've lost to everyone from John Morrison to JBL. Oh yeah, that's right, three weeks ago you were tapping out at the hands of Tyson Kidd. In my opinion, you need to step up. You need to make a statement. Something other than hitting me with a cheap spear from behind. No. You need to do something much bigger.


[Cody Rhodes]
Edge, I'll be honest, I was looking forward to you coming over here on Breakdown. I thought we could have had a real special connection. Then, for some reason, you decided to side with Mick Foley? Hey, Edge, do you know where he is? He's in the hospital, because of me. Chris Hero was released the other day and will back on his feet in no time, but not Mick! Mick will never be returning to this company, and you all know it. I might as well not be the "Interim" General Manager, I should just be full time! If Mick Foley couldn't even run the brand before, how would he be able to after what I did to him? So, if I was you Edge, I would start to get in line. In fact, I will give you one more shot. Just say it, Edge.

[[Edge]]
You want me to say it? You want me to say what every superstar should say to you? Okay.... Cody..... you can kiss my ass.

*The crowd pops as Cody is enraged.*

[Cody Rhodes]
Edge, you stay right there!

*Cody then storms down the ramp in a fit of rage. He slides in the ring and gets right in Edge's face. Edge throws down his microphone and tells Cody to bring it, but Rhodes hits him with a low blow! The crowd boos as Edge drops to his knees, Cody raising the microphone.*


[Cody Rhodes]
I warned you, Edge! I told you to get in line! You will suffer the consequences, now. Let it be known, I take no pain in doing this.....


[Cody Rhodes]
Edge... you're... fir...



*The crowd goes insane as the theme song of Mick Foley hits. Cody's jaw hits the floor as Mick charges from the back. The crowd is going nuts as they chant "Foley." Rhodes tries to escape the other way, but is caught by a spear from Edge! The crowd pops even louder as Rhodes rolls out of the ring in pain. He holds his stomach as Mick Foley gets a microphone. Rhodes gets up to his knees as Foley speaks.*

[Mick Foley]
Hey, Cody, how are you doing? Right now I'm doing pretty damn good. Let me tell you something, though. I will be doing a lot better this Sunday! Because at X-Treme X-Mas..... Cody Rhodes will go one on one.... with Edge!

*The crowd pops as Rhodes shouts "NO!" at the top of his lungs. Mick drops the mic as his theme song begins to play.*



Jerry "The King" Lawler: JR... does this mean we have two GMs now?

Jim Ross: I don't know, King, but I can't wait for Cody Rhodes versus Edge this Sunday! That is sure going to be a slobber knocker!

Jerry "The King" Lawler: I just can't wait to see Cody got speared for the third time!

*Cody storms off to backstage as Foley and Edge embrace on the ring. The crowd cheers for Foley and Edge as Breakdown cuts to a break.*
