The People rise to their feet in the thousands as The Rocks theme hits and The Great One launches himself through the curtain, hyped for later, pissed from earlier and all in all ready to whoop some candy ass. He makes his way down the ramp before taunting on the turnbuckle and jumping in the ring to get a mic from the side....
The Rock: FINALLY! THE ROCK! HAS COME BACK!
The Rock: TO NEWARK!!!.....Let The Rock say this first and foremost, damn! It feels good to be back here, The Rock is excited, very excited, tonight is the last Breakdown that you guys will see him WITHOUT The World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder and what better way to celebrate than to be in a match very personal to The Rock. A lot of you people will not know this but The Rock has a daughter, her favorite movie is a Disney classic! Tonight The Rock has a chance to go out there with RVD and lay the Breakdown on Snow white and His favorite dwarf!!!
The Rock: You see, fun and games and jokes aside for a second, last week The Rock fought hard, he brought it to Batista but simply put, Batista needs MVP in his corner to fight his battles for him and The Rock will get revenge sooner or later guys because just like Batista, Karma is a BITCH! Now tonight on the way into this arena The Rock was talking to a lovely lady, helping himself to some pie for later on tonight and what happens? He is given pictures from Sheamus of MVP hitting me with a sneak attack kick! You think that's funny big fella? You think The Rock being kicked across the face while he's down is FUNNY?! Huh? You like that well then you're gonna find this hilarious..
The Rock: Tonight, in front of aaaaaalllll these people! The Rock and RVD are gonna come out here and not only kick your teeth so far down your throat you will have to chew your dinners with your ass! Not only that, The Rock is gonna take your right boot! RVD is gonna take your left boot! We are gonna shiiiiiiine both boots up real nice, turn them sum' bitches sideways and shove them straight up YOUR APPLE EATING, PICTURE SENDING CANDY ASS!!!
The Rock: Another issue The Rock wanted to address here tonight is a simple one, yet somehow the entire XWL roster cannot comprehend it so let The Rock say it slow and clear. DO. NOT. STEAL. THE. ROCKS. CATCHPHRASES! God damn people, get your own lines makes your own jokes but for the love of all that is holy, stop it! RVD, we're cool so The Rock will forget you ever even tried it, you get away with a warning since tonight we are gonna dance all over the faces of Sheamus and........Evan Bourne......You my friend will not be so lucky!
The Rock: Ever since The Rock arrived here at Breakdown he has stayed out of your way. Why? Quite frankly The Rock had no intention of ever crossing path with a pre-pubescent man child in a wrestling business but tonight you went out of your way to make this personal. You stood here slap bang in the middle of the peoples ring and you mocked The Rock, you mocked The People and now tonight your gonna have to pay for it by meeting The Rock in the main event where you will be hit with a Rock Bottom then BAM! Peoples Elbow and right here and now The Rock guaran DAMN tee's that tonight you will be pinned and The Rock and RVD will be stood on the turnbuckles basking in our victory
The Rock: After all that has transpired, after Evan just Born has been pinned and Sheamus has his boots surgically removed from his anus, The Rock and RVD will part ways towards Unforgiven where he will retain his briefcase and The Rock will be part of a fatal four way elimination match for The World Heavyweight Championship. Now The Rock says this, he doesn't give a porcupines nipple who the hell he eliminates to win that title, the fact of the matter is this if you are in his way, The Rock will go straight through you in order to win. The Rock doesn't care if he has to beat Sheamus, which means calling the ghost busters to come and suck his candy ass up a vacuum and ridding us of that pest once and for all. The Rock doesn't care if he has to beat Alberto Del Rio because hell he's done it before and he'll do it again in a heartbeat, even if it means he has to end Del Rios career, don't worry about him anyway he will find work as a gardener or a pool boy or even better yet a pretty little maid. The mention of Jerichos name sends the crowd into an uproar of cheers as the entire arena synchronize in Y2J chants

Another resounding roar from the crowd confirms this for The Rock

The Rock trails off when he notices the camera man scoffing and losing focus, The Rock notices the man is wearing a Sheamus shirt
The Rock: WHO IN THE BLUE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!
The Rock: This Roody Poo with the crappy shirt, has the audacity to scoff during The Rocks promo?! You got a problem with The Rock? Tell The People why you have a problem with The Rock?
Cameraman: Sheamus is....
The Rock interrupts him with a mocking tone
The Rock:Sheamus is what? Your boyfriend? Your hero? Don't you ever disrespect The Rock again, you stand there, you know your role and you shut your mouth!........In fact you know what? The Rock isn't gonna let this one slide, he is gonna report your shoddy work to Mick Foley! What is your name?
Cameraman: Mar.....
The Rock: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS! The only thing that matters is that you do your job correctly but since you have proven you can't even do that, you know what, give The Rock your camera... come on MOVE IT!
The man nervously hands over the camera to The Rock...
The Rock: You see how much better The Rock is at your job? Already, The Rock has had this camera for two seconds and more and more people are tuning in to see the very first XWL Rock cam! We got loads of people in attendance! The Rock looks over to the announce table to see a laughing J.r and Joey Styles sitting next to a sulking King Hey guys, you enjoying The Rocks show so far? Looking forward to getting some strudel after the show King?
King: Oh does he think he's funny?! This is immature and un professional that man could lose his job over this
J.R: For once will you please just shut up and have some fun King
King: FUN!? Whats fun about this the mans an i...
Back in the ring The Rock is taking shots of the fans when he notices a sign....
The Rock: Hey! Look at this feisty young chicka! You wanna know what The Rock is doing after the show? The Rock turns towards the ramp, Get somebody out here to take this lovely lady to The Rocks locker room!
Literally seconds later a security gaurd comes down the ramp and escorts the excited woman towards the back
The Rock: Yeah baby! The Rock will see you later tonight!
The Rock turns to see the camera man still standing behind him
The Rock: Why are you still here? What could you possibly want? The Rock isn't gonna give you no autograph and you sure as hell aren't getting this camera back but since The Rock is a nice enough guy he will give you some screen time for shout outs and the like, go on, you have one minute. Don't forget to say hi to your husband.
The camera man remains silent with a stern look on his face as The Rock begins to speak again....
The Rock: The strong and silent type are we? Well let The Rock say this, if you wanna keep your job then you better waddle on out of the peoples ring before The Rock gives you the beating of a lifetime!
The crowd go nuts and start Rocky chants as the camera man leaves ringside with his tail between his legs
King: He is nothing but a bully! I can't wait to see Sheamus and Evan Bourne destroy him tonight!
Styles: You are such a hypocrite King! You are rooting for two people who made careers out of bullying people around
The Rock: Now The Rock has to go and get ready for his match tonight. Enjoy the rest of the show and The Rock will see you later tonight when him and RVD are handing out goodybags of ass whooping and The Rock will see you next week when he stands in this ring with The World Heavyweight Championship around his waist and we will celebrate Rock style! Like only The People can!

[Interviewer] Ladies and Gentlemen, my guest at this time.. The Gold Standard, Shelton Benjamin.
[Shelton] What's up man.
[Interviewer] Now Shelton, we haven't really seen much of you the past few months. You've been "fading to the background" some people have been saying. Can I get your thoughts on this?
[Shelton] Well I'm not gonna lie, I've had a hard time making myself noticed the past few months. I've had some wins, I've had some loses, but nothing that really mattered to anybody. One thing I wanna say though is that I'm thankful for these fans, who have still been behind me through this rough patch in my career. Without the support you guys give me week in and week out I wouldn't be able to continue doing the things that I do, setting the standards that I set, accomplishing the goals that I've accomplished.
[Shelton] But now, now it's time to bring the old Shelton Benjamin back into play. The Shelton that came through the curtain each week and amazed everyone here in this audience with the kinda stuff you just don't see anywhere else! That Shelton who was a former United States champion. That very Shelton who made a difference and became THE GOLD STANDARD.
[Interviewer] Shelton, what exactly is it that makes you, the Gold Standard?
**Shelton lets out a little laugh, then smiles and nods his head**
[Shelton] What is it that makes me the Gold Standard? Dude, come on. Well how bout we ask the fans why they think I'm the Gold Standard? What do y'all think, huh?
**The fans erupt in cheers and chants of "Shelton, Shelton, Shelton"**
[Shelton] Naw but really, What makes me the Gold Standard? That's a good question. The simple answer? ..It's me! I am THE Gold Standard! I entertain the fans, I defy gravity, I beat my opponents, I win titles, and I don't even break a sweat doing it. What can I say, I'm the best at what I do and I do it with a smile on my face. If there's anyone out there who doubts that, I'd be more than happy to step in the ring and show you what I've got, give it my all. Difference between me and most of the guys here, They're here for the money. They're here cause they have to be. Me, I'm here cause I WANT to be. I'm here cause wrestling is my life, wrestling is what I do best, and wrestling is what I'll continue to do here till I can't wrestle any more.
[Interviewer] What can we expect from the "new" Shelton Benjamin?
[Shelton] What can be expected? Well the same as always, nothing! I'm one of the most unpredictable dudes you'll ever meet, and that's a fact. But, career wise? Y'all best be expecting only the best for Shelton, cause that's what I'm gonna get. I'm at the top of my game now, I've trained, I've become what I used to be, and hell I'm giving it all I've got.
[Interviewer] So Shelton taking this into concideration, how does it feel to be the "Gold Standard" but not actually hold any gold?
[Shelton] Took some nerve to say that, I'll give you that, Haha. Kid you're talkin to a former United States champion! Who did I win that title off? None other than the former World Heavyweight Champion. Does that mean I could be World Champ? Hell, you do the math. But I'll tell you this.. Shelton Benjamin is back at his best and I promise to all my fans out there that I will once again prove.. just why they call me.. The Gold Standard.
[Interviewer] Finally, what is next for Shelton Benjamin?
[Shelton] Good question. Honestly, wherever the fans take me is where I go. But I'll tell ya this, Shelton Benjamin will be more successful than ever before and I promise every one of my fans that. Ya know.. I've been hearing alot about an Intercontinental title gauntlet match. Hey, who knows? I mean, I've wrestled all over the world, I've fought in numerous companies against what must have been hundreds of people. I'm a former United States Champion. What's next on my list of accomplishments? Well, I've got room for another title in there. So will Shelton Benjamin make an appearance during the Intercontinental Championship gauntlet? Well, you'll just have to watch and see.
**Shelton looks at the camera, smiles, and winks.**
[Interviewer] We'll hope to see you there. Ladies and Gentlemen.. Shelton Benjamin. Shelton, thankyou for your time.
[Shelton] Thanks man, any time. I'll catch ya later.
**Shelton nods his head and walks out of the cameras view. Breakdown then cuts to commercial.**

Normal Diva Match Madison Rayne vs Maryse
*Spoilers*
Jr: Quite a competitive match. There was one point where Maryse was just plain schooling Madison Rayne, but at around the borderline time point she turned it back around on the former divas champion.
Style: Yeah, for a little bit anyways. Maryse just sort of went berserk toward the end, but still Rayne did do well. But then again, for some people doing well isn't quite enough to get the job done. I wouldn't be surprised if she still claimed to be undefeated after this match!
Jr: Well that’s another story. In the end it was lights out for Rayne, and Maryse stands tall. Moving south a bit, Later tonight there will actually be a contract signing between Trish, the divas champion, and Maryse for the diva championship match that will be held at Unforgiven.!
Style: I can’t wait for that. I’ve been itching to find out the match that they will compete in all month.
King: You know what I can’t wait for? I can’t wait to see the look on your faces when Maryse destroys Trish during that signing. I finally got it guys. She’s acting semi-nice so Trish can hold her guard down just so she can get the upper hand. Very smart and devious strategy because that’s the Maryse we all the love.. the devious one, right?
Jr: Well we won’t know what will happen until the signing takes place King.
King: I know for a fact that it will go down like that.. I loved the old Maryse, not this quiet nice one who threatens to kick me in the head whenever I get close to her.
Style: Story of your life King.
