XWL November To Remember: 11/20/2011 - 11/27/2011

*The words "Earlier Today" flash across the screen and a video begins to play. It shows Wade Barrett sitting in an empty arena, with the November To Remember ring set up in the background. An off-screen interviewer is also present which we are made aware of by a voice beginning to question the Intercontinental Champion.*

[Interviewer] Wade, tonight during the November To Remember pay-per-view you will face off against your former friend and partner during your time together as The Corre. What are your thoughts on entering a match against an opponent who probably knows you better than anyone?



[Wade Barrett] Justin Gabriel may well have some knowledge of me, but ever since The Corre disbanded, I have been on as big a roll as I have ever been. Gabriel only saw a portion of what Wade Barrett is capable of, and tonight I'll make sure that I don't play any tricks that he's aware of. I'll give Gabriel credit where credit is due, he has made something of a name for himself since splitting from The Corre... but I am the one who gave him the opportunity to do that in the first place. When I debuted in XWL, I was the one who approached Justin Gabriel with the idea of The Corre, when at best he was a card-filler and an enhancement talent. Nobody knew who he was or cared about him in the slightest. I changed all that when I took him under my wing, and together we formed the greatest stable XWL has ever seen. I made Gabriel into the man that he is today and into the main event talent he is now seen as... but despite everything I have done for him he decided to attack me a few weeks ago for no reason whatsoever. And I am definitely not the kind of person you want to mess with.

[Interviewer] The match will be an entertaining one that's for sure and I wish you the best of luck. One more question before you go, I know you're a busy guy. Last week you were voted the Slammy Award winner for Newcomer Of The Year 2011. What's next for Wade Barrett in 2012?



[Wade Barrett] I think that I made that perfectly clear last week. It'll be more of the same. You'll be seeing pretty much a mirror image of 2011 in 2012... I will be the most dominant man on the roster and I will have unparallelled success. I will also surpass Shawn Michaels' 13 month record as Intercontinental Champion. I'm almost 2 months into my reign already and I expect the next 11 months to be just as easy as the first 2. To be honest with you, I'm kind of hoping some real competition steps up to the plate soon. I'm tired of wasting my time with jokers like Ted Dibiase, Randy Orton and Justin Gabriel. I just hope that after tonight Gabriel gets the message and stays well away from me and doesn't bug me for months like the other two did.

[Interviewer] Thank you for your time Wade.

*The screen fades to black as November To Remember continues...*

[XWL returns from a commercial break and the camera scans about the arena giving the people at home a good look at this jam packed arena filled with people having the time of their lives here at Madison Square Garden. As men cheer, kids hold up signs and women try to get as much TV time as they can, the camera ends its journey around the arena and makes its final stop at Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross at the announce table.]

{JR}
And we are back folks and I do think it’s safe to say that November to Remember is slowly picking up steam. If last month’s exhilarating pay per view was any indication of how future shows will play out, then we are definitely going to be in for a ride tonight.

{Cole}
With this being the penultimate pay per view before the year’s end, you can expect some big things to go down as XWL looks to finish this year on a high note.

{King}
Easy there Cole, we’re a long way off from the end of the year. Let’s take this one show at a time.

{Cole}
I’m sorry if you can’t handle all of this excitement at your old age, but I’m looking at how promising the future appears. I’m talking about a future led by the captivating and one of a kind announcing of me: Michael Cole, as he leads all his faithful Cole-Miners into a new era in XWL.

{JR}
Would it kill you to be a little more humble, Cole?

{Cole}
Would it kill you to be a little less boring, Jim? I mean really, I could do this whole thing by myself if I wanted to. But I don’t think you guys could handle it or deserve to hear my enchanting voice all by its lonesome for a full show.

{King}
An entire show filled with the rants, raves and biased statements of Michael Cole? I wouldn’t think any less of someone who couldn’t stomach all of that garbage.

{Cole}
Are you kidding me? You’re addressing the most must-see announcer in the world!

{JR}
I can’t argue with that; a man with a head that far up his ass is truly a sight to behold.

{Cole}
Make all the jokes you want, but that doesn’t change the fact I’m the reason people tune in to XWL.

{King}
People tune in to see matches like the contest we have coming up next between Alex Shelley and Kurt Angle for the intercontinental contendership.

{Cole}
You can’t be serious, you mean the match that started over a game of tic tac toe? Who the hell really cares about this match?

{JR}
Well, Wade Barrett, should definitely be interested considering one of these two men will be challenging him for his belt.

{Cole}
Neither of these two men will be worth Barrett’s time. He already put Angle in his place last month and Shelley has been a…shell… of his former self since dropping the X-Treme championship. I just wish someone would come along who would really pose a threat to Barrett’s title reign, now that’ll be a sight to see.

{King}
Unfortunately for you, I doubt that’ll happen so for now you’ll have to deal with those two.

{JR}
For those of you who are just joining us, this whole thing between Alex Shelley and Kurt Angle began when Shelley tricked Angle into signing a makeshift contract. That night ended with Angle putting Shelley in an ankle lock.

{Cole}
And that’s another knock against Shelley. A real man would have earned that title contendership, not had a little .

{King}
You mean like how Angle whined to Foley until he gave him the shot?

{Cole}
All I’m saying is that I wouldn’t mind in the least if neither Shelley nor Angle walked out with that title contendership.

[Alex Shelley’s new theme fills the arena immediately inciting a positive reaction from the crowd. After a one week disappearance the people are clearly happy to have one of their favorites back. And with the rough journey Shelley has had since dropping his belt, his fans are hoping he finally catches a break and picks up the big win over Angle here tonight. Shelley finally steps onto the stage and takes a look at the thousands in attendance cheering for him:]



[The cheers drop noticeably in volume as the fans are taken aback by the sudden serious demeanor shown by Shelley? Has the losses finally gotten to him? Is a heel turn on the way? These are the questions that have to be running through the mind of Shelley loyalists, as they watch their idol clench his jaw and take two slow and deliberate steps across the stage. As he reaches the ramp Shelley…. smiles and starts slapping some high fives on his way down. You can almost feel a gust of wind as the fans collectively take a deep sigh of relief. As Shelley continues to mingle with the fans, a video begins to play on the titantron of an interview Shelley had sometime during the week.]

[Shelley is shown standing next to an XWL interviewer as he gets ready to ask a few questions.]



{Interview}
Alex, on the heels of what Kurt Angle said on Breakdown last week, how do you…

{Shelley}
Whoa whoa whoa, hang on there a second Mr. Interviewer Man, both you and I know that nobody watches Kurt Angle promos. I’m sorry that you had to so you could prep for this shin ding, but I honestly don’t care what care Angle said. But then again, Kurt Angle is also a very predictable man, so let me see if I can guess what he said. Did he say I didn’t deserve to be in this match?

{Interview}
Yes, he did and…

{Shelley}
Did he also say that he would beat me in that ring tonight without breaking a sweat?

{Interview}
Well, something alone those li…

{Shelley}
And did he also compliment on my hair?

{Interview}
I don’t think h…

{Shelley}
Exactly! Everything I thought he would say is what he said; so why sorry about what he’ll say when you already know what he’ll say? You following me here?

{Interview}
I’m trying my best, Alex.

{Shelley}
Good because as a natural born leader, I need to make sure my people are with me every step of the way. I’m leading into a new era, or perhaps an eerily familiar one. I’m talking about a world where Alex Shelley is once again a champion. All I have to do it get past Kurt and I’ll be one step closer to taking down Barrett. I took the week off just make sure I was 100% ready to go once that bell rung. He messed with my ankle which directly caused me to throw my match against Kendrick away when it hurt just standing up. But I’m not making excuses for my past, I’m making strides in the present to leave my mark in the future. Talking isn’t what gets you to the top, your actions speak louder.



{Shelley}
You can’t hurt people with your words. Sure you can make them cry, but I’m talking about physical scarring pain. The kind where you wake up a minute later and still feel the pain as if it only happened a minute before. You can’t pin people with your words, I can’t take Angle’s face and drive it into the ground with a Shellshock using my words which is why I have to get my hands dirty. I don’t hate you Angle, you just have something I want, and since you didn’t hand it over when I asked nicely I had to resort to some questionable measures. I’m hoping that when this is all over you can come over to my house and play some Guitar Hero or watch the game with me. I’m sure a long while from now we’ll look back at this and laugh.

[Shelley looks at the camera and has a huge smile on his face.]

{Shelley}
But as of right now, there’s nothing to laugh about.

[The camera cuts back to the present time with Shelley standing in the ring watching the video.]



[He asks for a microphone, and when he gets it he waits a sec for the noise in the arena to die down for a bit before he begins to speak.]

{Shelley}
I know my match isn’t until later tonight, and I honestly was planning on leaving it at that snazzy little interview, but something’s been bugging me and I need to confront Angle face to face before we get face to face in that ring tonight. So Angle, get out here.

[After a couple of seconds, Angle’s theme hits and the mood in the arena quickly turns sour as the boos begin.]



[Angle steps out and gets ready to do his signature taunt, before he’s interrupted.]

{Shelley}
I almost forgot! Angle I have a surprise for you, but you have to go back backstage before you can get it.

[Angle looks confused and it doesn’t seem as though he want to listen to Shelley, but after further pestering from the crowd, he finally obliges and returns to the back.]

{Shelley}
Alright I was saving this for just the right moment, and I think now is as right as it’s going to get. So ladies and gentleman I present to you Kurt Angle’s new theme specially performed by The High Crusade:



[[Kurt Angle]]
What? That is not my theme! Play my theme right now! Do you think you're funny Shelley? Because that's not amusing anyone here, or me! And if anyone here knows what's funny, it's Fat Albert over there in the front and by the looks of things, he's not laughing too much. No, in fact now he looks like he wants to punch someone. See what you did Shelley? You're causing mayhem! What kind of a person are you that comes out here, and tries to ruin the experience of being here, live at an awful XWL Pay Per View like this one! I mean, it was bad enough already, and then you just went and took it over the top Shelley!

{Shelley}
Now that was uncalled for, Kurt. Just because the man can pack away enough food to feed all the starving people in your house doesn’t mean you have to call him out on that. And if you’re going to be insulting people like that, then you’re the one who’ll be causing mayhem. I mean, yeah my presence can incite riots as people sacrifice life and limb to get autographs, pictures or a lock of my hair, but that’s just the way it is. I can’t help that I have fans, that’s just the price of being Alex Shelley, but I can’t say I’m eager to have everyone despise me. I don’t know how you do it Angle, and I’m not just talking about you having no fans, I’m talking about you living with that bad haircut, those chocolate gold medals, the six i’s that you pretend to live by… everything about you is just…. eh.

[[Kurt Angle]]
No, there's 3 I's, Shelley. And these gold medals are not chocolate! Big Show would know from experience how much these aren't chocolate... And if anything, these fans love me, Shelley. Can't you tell, everywhere I go they chant my name, they try to get as close as they can to me, these people adore me! But I'm not so sure about you, Shelley. That Fat Albert over there is still looking at you like he wants to knock someone out!

[The camera zooms in on the man’s face and he does seem to be visibly upset.]



[The crowd is booing Angle in response to his verbal attack on ‘Fat Albert’ and Shelley gives Angle a disappointed look before he speaks again.]

{Shelley}
You’ve got it all wrong Angle, he’s not looking at me like that because he doesn’t like me… it’s because he thinks I’m afraid to say what I called you out here to say. He thinks that I’m not going to mention the rumors that have been floating around backstage and on the dirtsheets. You know what I’m talking about Angle?

[[Kurt Angle]]
You're talking about me winning the match tonight!

{Shelley}
I’m talking about the rumor that you won’t be renewing your contract with XWL. That you expect to beat me here tonight, take that intercontinental contendership to a different company, throw it in a trash can and set it on fire as you embarrass XWL on live TV. People are saying that you’ve given up on XWL, that you’re tired of the hair jokes, and not getting the respect you deserve, and never getting first class seats on flights.

[The crowd’s noise level drops a bit as some are shocked at what Shelley just revealed. Has Kurt Angle really had enough with this company? It could be possible given everything that he’s been through, but nobody has an easy road to the top.]

{Shelley}
Well Kurt, it’s a shame that y—

[Without warning Shelley lets out a big burp, and some fans laugh a bit at the abrupt death of the mood. The camera cuts over to Angle, who doesn’t seem too amused.]

[[Kurt Angle]]
I'm not amused... Shelley you think it's funny for you to mock me and say that I'm leaving the company, but the fact is this company pays me way too much for me to ever want to leave. I'm paid at a rate of 2 gold medals per show, I mean come on, where else would I be paid like that! While you over there Shelley, you don't even get a paycheck sometimes. That's why you try to be friends with all of these people to try and bum their money off of them. I'm clearly a fan favorite here Shelley, and as a fan favorite I know exactly what the fans want. And Fat Albert over there does not look like he's in the giving mood. So I think if you want food you should go back to the homeless shelter you came from and go back to hitting on the hobo ladies you live with! It's true, it's true.

[Shelley ponders Angle’s request for him to leave for a few seconds, and then he finally gives his response.]

{Shelley}
Okay.

On this Thanksgiving night, I'm thankful that we've finally got a match!

Alberto Del Rio has it locked in! The cross armbreaker, many of men have fallen to this maneuver but Eddie seems to have more fight in him than Alberto's previous opponents.

{Joey Styles}
But after the physical dissection the entire match, Eddie can't have much fight left in him. It seemed like he was going to have Del Rio's number with that brainbuster attempt, but Alberto showed his talent by countering into the predicament we see before us now.

{Michael Cole}
Tap out already!

Alberto continues to tightly pull the arm yelling at him and repeatedly shouting "just give up Eddie!" which Eddie continues to scream "No!!" the referee gets down to Eddie's level, he asks him if he wants to quit, but he keeps refusing to. Alberto then tightens his grip over his arm pulling back on it and continuing to shout at him.

{Joey Styles}
My god Eddie's arm is going to be torn out of it's socket if he doesn't get out of this soon! There's only so much pressure that an arm can take before extreme damage is done.

{Michael Cole}
See, this is why his "grand" return was a big mistake. He refuses to give up, yet because of that same stupidity he's going to be injured after this match.

{JR}
I wouldn't say that for sure, I mean maybe Eddie just has that much fight left in him, he hasn't competed in years, maybe he's still kept himself in great shape during his absence.

Back in the ring the hold is still tightly applied, Alberto seems extremely annoyed at Eddie's refusal to give up, he tightly pulls more and more, he shouts one last time for him to just give up, but Eddie responds by trying to use his free arm to get in any blows he can but they don't do much, Del Rio tries to re-tighten his grip, but Eddie uses his legs to bridge off the mat, then pushes off and manages to turn the hold while still applied, into modified pinning predicament against Alberto.

{JR}
Bah gawd, now that's one way of getting back in this.


The referee quickly counts

But Alberto releases his hold and rolls back to his feet, as Eddie lays on the mat holding his arm wincing in pain. The cameras show a very frustrated Alberto Del Rio, he glares at Eddie, then raises his boot up, attempts to stomp on the targeted arm, but Eddie moves out of the way just in time, causing Del Rio to tweak his leg and hold it in pain for a second, Eddie gets to his feet, then sees an opportunity, charges at Alberto with a clothesline, but Alberto ducks it at the last second, and Eddie accidentally nearly takes the referee's head off with a huge clothesline!

{Joey Styles}
Oh! What a shot! And The referee is down!

{JR}
Good thing Alberto was able to duck that, it had such power behind it that this match could've been over just like that.


Eddie throws his arms up in concern, he tries to check on the referee quickly, but he seems to be out of it. Eddie then turns around only for Alberto Del Rio to charge at him connecting with an enzuigiri at the top of the skull! The sound is heard all around the arena, Eddie slowly drops down, clearly knocked out, Alberto then covers him hooking the leg ....

{Joey Styles}
This could be it! He's knocked out cold, but so is the referee!


{Michael Cole}
Wake up ref! Alberto's got this match won right here!

{JR}
It certainly does seem like it could be over right here.

Alberto keeps his cover for a few seconds, he then lets go of his leg, and sits up with a pissed off expression on his face, as he glares at the still lying unconscious referee. He gets off the mat, walks over to the referee, grabs hold of the collar of his shirt, and and begins to shake him repeatedly, he shouts at him to wake up! But no dice, meanwhile, unbeknownst to Alberto, Eddie had come to, he shakes his head then notices Alberto doesn't know he's up, so he stands up, looks at the audience, then pulls his finger up to his lips tell them to not let him know. He then drops down and rolls under the ropes, and pulls the ring apron up, then grabs a chair out from under the ring. The fans cheer, Alberto seems to have given up on his quest to wake up the referee, and turns around only to see Eddie Guerrero standing right in front of him, and with a chair in his hand. Alberto looks at him confused, and shouts "What are you doing?!" "Are you going to hit me?" "You're not going to hit me, and we both know it!" "You don't have the Cojones to do it!" Just then Eddie swings but purposely misses, Alberto flinches, he then glares in anger, all while the referee has finally started to come to. Eddie then looks at the fans, and gives them a vintage smile and then strikes the mat with the chair! Del Rio seems even more confused, and before he knows what's about to come next, all while the fans excitedly cheer for a vintage Eddie Guerrero moment, he throws the chair at Alberto, who like a fool catches it, then falls back on the mat acting as if he were unconscious.


{Michael Cole}
What the...

{Joey Styles}
Since you won't say it, I'll just have to, Cole....Vintage Eddie Guerrero!

Alberto's still holding the chair with both hands, all while with the most confused expression on his face, and the referee finally comes to fully, he looks around, Alberto turns around insisting he didn't do it, but the evidence is in his hands, the referee sees Eddie seemingly knocked out, and much to Alberto's continued insistence that he did nothing wrong, the referee signals for the bell ring as he disqualifies Alberto Del Rio!

{Michael Cole}
You've gotta be kidding me!! He did nothing wrong...

{JR}
He lies, he cheats, and he steals, and he's just technically won his return match here in XWL!

{Michael Cole}
I cannot believe the stupidity of that referee, Alberto did nothing wrong! NOTHING!




As his theme sounds, Del Rio flips out, he grabs the referee by his shirt, shouts at him to reverse his decision, but he refuses and informs Alberto that he better he get his hands off of him, he raises his fist at him, threatening him while continuing to insist he reverses his decision. Eddie can be seen opening his eyes carefully, he sits up and notices Alberto bullying the referee, then grabs the chair off the mat, and bangs it against the mat, Alberto turns around letting go of the referee. He gives Eddie an intense stare then shouts "How dare you embarrass me like this!" Eddie simply smiles then swings the chair at him, but Alberto drops down quickly rolling under the bottom rope just in time to avoid the shot. Alberto points at him and yells "You almost hit me!" all while Eddie looks at him with a look of "concern" but then a smile comes across his face.



He then drops the chair and takes to the second rope playing to the fans while Alberto shouts at Ricardo for not doing anything as we're taken to an advertisement for X-treme X-mas next month.

*Following a short promotional video for rising star Dolph Ziggler, the sound of Chris Jericho's music can be heard as November To Remember continues.*



*On cue, the number 1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship makes his way out on to the stage and begins his descent down the entrance ramp. He's wearing a suit as usual, and the same cold emotionless expression to go along with it. The fan responds with the same array of boos, jeers and insults Jericho has come to expect.*

[Michael Cole] It looks like it's time for The Highlight Reel! I can't wait!

[Jim Ross] It'll no doubt be compelling television as shortly Chris Jericho and his guest CM Punk will be squaring off for the richest prize in this business today.



[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Jericho doesn't look too happy despite having such a huge opportunity... but then again, when is he every happy?

[Michael Cole] I'm sure he'll be happy when he leaves this arena tonight as World Champion. He deserves it as much as anybody and I can't wait to see CM Punk finally left speechless at the hands of Chris Jericho when he proves to him exactly who is "the best in the world".

*Jericho climbs into the ring and picks up a microphone which has conveniently been placed on one of the Highlight Reel stools set before the obscenely expensive Jeritron 5000 HD screen. Jericho then stands in the middle of the ring and looks around at the sea of fans before him, from his right to his left with a cold stare.*



*His music eventually dies down and there is a large increase in the volume of the boos for a few moments before Jericho begins to speak over them.*



[Chris Jericho] I would welcome all of you parasites to this very special edition of The Highlight Reel, but it's obvious to me that you don't exactly appreciate it for what it is. Tonight's edition is special because it's the inaugural Highlight Reel before I become XWL World Heavyweight Champion for a record fifth time. I will once again be written into the history books of this business when I capture the greatest prize it has to offer. But this time will be different. This time I am the best possible version of Chris Jericho... this time there are no distractions, no fun and games.... no backstage politics. The Chris Jericho standing before you is 100% focused on being the very best that I can be, and I know and I believe that on any given day, on any given night, in this mindset... that I have no equal in this ring or on this microphone. I simply am, the very best in the world at what I do.

*The crowd begins a "You Suck" chant mixed in with an assortment of other insults and boos.*



[Chris Jericho] You can boo and you can jeer all you want, but the fact remains that I have proven time and time again since Unforgiven that you people cannot change that. You think that by booing me you'll somehow magically cause me to fail, but you can't stop pure talent and ability. Your boos are just white noise in the background as I continue to achieve greatness. I could ignore you people every week, but I'll be honest... I'm amused by the XWL Universe's idiocy and I enjoy belittling you and your sad pathetic lives every week. Because I know that I am a better human being than each and every single one of you, and the only reason you hate me so much is because you're envious of the man that I am.



[Chris Jericho] You know it's true and that's why you're booing even louder now. But I really don't care. After tonight, I will be on top of the world once again, where I belong. I have been one step ahead of CM Punk ever since I became number 1 contender... from repelling his flawed mind-games to blindsiding him backstage... he hasn't been able to cope with Chris Jericho and tonight will be no different. CM Punk is back there right now, trying to calm his nerves, shaking with fear... knowing that in just minutes he will be exposed as a paper champion and the most worthless, undeserving World Champion in XWL's history when I dominate him in this ring. CM Punk is back there right now worrying about what the future holds when he's labelled inadequate and the biggest waste of time and money this company has ever seen... and I couldn't care less what happens to him. He deserves all the failure heading his way.



[Chris Jericho] So before I invite my "guest" out here so you can see his nerves and fear for yourselves first hand, let me-

*Jericho is cut off as familiar music begins to play...*







[[Punk]]:: Whoa, stop cut the music! Stop it. Before I come down to that ring I just wanted you to know that I’ve seen this picture before. It’s very similar to something that happened a very long time and I just know how this is going to end. Here we are, Live on the Highlight Reel and your guest is non-other than me, CM Punk, a man that you have stated you despise on several occasions. I can see a lot of you are a bit confused, well it might help if you thought of me as Shawn Michaels in this scene. He was also somebody you had a strong disliking for and his appearance never ended too well on this talk show of yours, did it Chris? The only thing I am curious about, is how long would it actually take you to try and shove my head through that Jeritron 5000?



[[Punk]]:: I can only assume it wouldn’t take long, maybe I’m wrong and I’m just being paranoid about nothing. But I’d rather not take my chances, to me this is the exact same scenario that led to that event. The only difference this time around, is that the Jeritron 5000 now comes in HD! My how far technology has brought us. But if you don’t mind Chris, I’d rather be safe than sorry. Don’t worry though, we won’t be conducting this interview of sorts like this all night. See I’ve hired myself some help, some what of a bodyguard if you will. In fact, it will make this Highlight Reel that little bit more special, because believe it or not, you know the guy Chris. We can think of it as a wonderful reunion for the both of you… So Ladies & Gentlemen, please put your hands together for my bodyguard for this evening… Ralphus!



*CM Punk’s theme plays over the speakers again and after a few seconds pass, Ralphus walks out onto the stage. Jericho stares down at the two men and he looks less than impressed, Punk however thinks it’s great as he stands chuckling to himself. The two men then walk down the ramp and get inside the ring, where they stand across from Jericho*



[[Punk]]:: Hey Ralphus, I don’t like the way he’s eye-ballin’ me. So if you could be so kind and keep an eye on him for me, it would be appreciated, thanks. Well this is nice isn’t it, I’m sure you two have so much to catch up on. I don’t even feel I should be here, the reunion between the both of you would be able to sell out arenas on it’s on. But alas I am here, so I suppose I should interject my thoughts about all the colourful things you had to say about me. I can admit you were right, I was sitting backstage fearing this moment. Not for the reasons that you might think, but simply because now I am forced to interact with you. I have to stand here and listen to you drivel on about the most cliché nonsense and the worst thing is you actually believe it. You stand there with a serious face the whole time, either you actually buy into the garbage you spew or you have the World’s greatest poker face.

If that were the case, you never would’ve lost this Championship would you? *Jericho stands there for a moment staring at Punk with absolutely no emotion showing in his face. Punk stares back with a huge smirk on his face. Suddenly, Jericho darts at Punk and swings the microphone at his head. Punk ducks and lifts Jericho up onto his shoulders, setting him up for the GTS! The crowd goes nuts. Jericho however, somehow wriggles free and ends up behind Punk. Jericho pulls his fist back ready to nail Punk over the back of his head, but he is held back by Ralphus!*

[Michael Cole] What is this goofball doing?

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Well he is a bodyguard you know...

*The crowd begin chanting Ralphus' name as CM Punk slides out of the ring with his title. He looks back with a Cheshire cat grin on his face at Jericho who is now free of Ralphus' grasp and is right in his face.*

[Chris Jericho] After everything I've done for you... I made you famous... you son of a bitch!

*Jericho knocks Ralphus down to the canvas with a huge right hand. He then stomps away at a defenseless Ralphus as CM Punk looks on laughing to himself from the entrance ramp. The crowd are now booing Jericho louder than ever. Jericho picks up his former bodyguard who is now nothing but dead weight and forcefully throws him face first into the Jeritron screen. Sparks, glass and metal fly everywhere as Ralphus' head makes contact with the screen.*

[Jim Ross] No goddammit! Someone get help! Get some EMTs out here!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] That was just sickening! Jericho is an evil, evil human being. Ralphus isn't a competitor!

[Michael Cole] You're right he isn't. But he got involved in Jericho's business and in my mind he got what he deserved.

*Jericho looks down at Ralphus who is now spouting blood from his face and forehead like a fountain and spits on him. The crowd are silent in concern for Ralphus and in shock at what they just saw. CM Punk is no longer smiling.*

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] How could anyone deserve that?...

*Jericho finally diverts his attention to the entrance ramp where he locks eyes with CM Punk. The two share an intensity filled stare as the screen fades to black for a slight break in programming. The last image before a hype video for Alberto Del Rio begins to play is that of CM Punk raising his title in the air as Jericho looks on with his steely stare.*

**The Alberto Del Rio video package comes to an end and we are backstage. We are in the locker room area but it seems empty, there seems to be no-one around as the cameraman pans around the room to search for someone. In the background there is the sound of someone talking on the phone. The cameraman starts towards another door and pushes it open and reveals the person on the phone. That person is Kevin Steen. Kevin Steen turns and stares at the cameraman with disgust. Kevin puts the phone down and walks towards the cameraman as he steps back slowly. Steen raises his hand as he looks to punch the cameraman but he stops and starts to laugh. He pats the cameraman on the shoulder and starts to talk.**



Kevin Steen: Fucking hell you shit your little panties, what you thought I was gunna drop you like a bitching wife? Nah I wouldn't do such a thing. Why are you looking at me like you have just discovered the secret of getting laid when your ugly. This phone call right here was just me ordering a celebration later on. No I ain't talking about a hooker, I mean I just go ask your mother if she want a fuck and she loves it. Anyway I was ordering a big ass pizza to my hotel room with a few beers to go with it. The ref raised Maryse's hand victorious, but Maryse apparently had unfinished business to tend to before she left. Maryse ran at Eve and knocked her in the back of the head, pushing her down onto the mat

JR: That's just uncalled for, the match is over.

Styles: What's this about?

Cole: Maryse is obviously just looking for some retribution here. A month ago Eve took Maryse out of action when Maryse injured her ankle in a match at our Pay Per View, The Monster Bash!

JR: She already won the match, this is not necessary.

Cole: But it is JR! Eve deserves to pay for what she did to Maryse!

Then Maryse drug her to the ropes, and pushed her midway throw the bottom rope, then grabbed her by the hair and pulled her up through the second, also applying pressure from her knee to the back of Eve, resulting in a more extreme attempt of her one of her regular moves



JR: Good God! She's going to break her back!

Styles: Somebody has to stop this!

JR: The official is trying to get in there, but there's only so much he can do at this point!

Cole: Pfft, she deserves it.

Styles: What?

JR: How can you say that Cole? Eve is a role model for young women everywhere, Maryse doesn't care about anybody but herself, and now she's tearing this woman apart!

The ref was furious with Maryse's behavior and yelled at her, but she simply shunned him with her "talk to the hand" pose, and dropped Eve in the ropes. Maryse ran to the opposite end of the ring, bounced off the ropes, and flew back towards Eve, slamming her knee into the side of Eve's head, causing Eve to spill out of the ring



Maryse took the time to gloat, as she grinned towards the crowd and flipped her hair

Cole: You got this Maryse!

JR: Are you kidding me Cole?

Cole: No! Maryse is awesome, she can handle this, I'm just showing support.

JR: It's wrong Cole. Maryse shouldn't be doing this to Eve, what did she ever do to anybody?

Cole: She injured Maryse and caused her to be out of action for a number of weeks!

Styles: It doesn't matter, this isn't right Cole.

Cole: Will you two shut up so I can watch this!



Maryse laughed and made her way out of the ring, down to the corner where Eve was struggling to get to her knees. Maryse saw this as an opportunity and readied herself, then went for a high kick at Eve's head, but Eve ducked, causing Maryse to slam her previously injured ankle into the steel post!



JR: Bah Gawd did you hear that?!

Cole: That's Maryse's previously injured ankle! Somebody get in there and stop this!

Styles: I think the whole arena heard it JR!

The crowd gasped as a loud thud was heard from the impact, and Maryse screamed, falling to the ground clutching to her injured ankle



Cole: This is nonsense! Somebody has to get in there and stop this!

Styles: Oh, now it's nonsense.

JR: It was nonsense when Maryse started this Cole!

Cole: How can you say that about this woman when she's lying on the ground screaming it pain, this is crazy!

JR and Styles looked and each other and shook their heads at Cole. Meanwhile, Maryse crawled a little trying to distance herself and Eve, who was now to her feet. Maryse peeked over her shoulder to catch a glimpse of Eve, only to find Eve charging at her. Maryse let out another yelp and tried to hurry away but her ankle kept her from going anywhere. Eve grabbed Maryse by the hair and slammed her face into the side of the ring apron. Eve went for another attack on Maryse but the referees and security guards had come out by what seemed to be the dozens. They pulled Eve off of Maryse, and checked on Maryse and her ankle. Eve backed away and raised her hand to the crowd who cheered for her, then slowly took the long way out and walked around the other side of the ring, heading backstage. Meanwhile, Ted DiBiase is seen running down the ramp, he weaseled his way through the security guards to Maryse and checked on her. The two communicated for a minute and Maryse seemed very unhappy and in pain. Ted picked her up, putting her arm around his shoulders, and helped her up the ramp as the cameras fade on the two
