XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 9kYzRAi

Following the flashing blue and pink pyro, the show dims down to a completely black arena. Occasional camera flashes setting off in the stands remind us that we are on the right program. The chitter chatter of the XWL Universe in attendance is silenced only for a second when the titantron begins to glitch while white noise crackles and pops in and out of the speakers. The crowd instantly gets onto their feet, screaming in anticipation for XWL’s monthly presentation, this time dubbed “Downpour.” The crowd is soon drowned out by the sound of thunder and heavy torrential rain pour. Gradually, through the heavy rain, we hear the beat of the musical selection for Downpour performed by Billie Eilish, mixed with an old, broken tune of a carnival theme which begins to echo ‘round the scene on a seemingly endless loop. Childish laughter fades in an out as the camera steadily moves down onto the scene. As it does, we see the somewhat burnt out and aged lights of a semi-functional and decomposing abandoned carnival. Cutting right through the center is a road made up of broken pavement with weeds and tufts of dead grass peaking through the cracks.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 D7uaLHa

The camera finally stops just above the pavement itself, focusing on what appears to be the head of a sledgehammer. The hammer is being dragged across the pavement beside the right leg of the individual, creating a painful but slightly tolerable screech. The footsteps of a pair of scuffed, muddy Air Jordan’s echo through the park. As the camera makes its way up north just a touch more, we see that the figure is wearing an over-sized, bright yellow rain jacket. It is only when the camera reaches the top of the figure that we can confirm without a doubt just who exactly it is inside of the jacket. For a reason beyond our knowledge, and even more likely for no reason at all, the hood of the yellow coat is down, despite the pouring rain. Thanks to this poor decision making, we can confirm that the soaking wet cotton candy colored locks accompanied by the signature baby pigtails belong to the sledgehammer-wielding poster girl, Liv Morgan. With her left hand, Liv is holding the stick of a blue raspberry lollipop while she twirls it around inside of her twisted grin. Her mascara is running down her saturated cheeks in the form of two harlequin-esque points. Her piercing blue eyes survey the landscape as she continues down the path. When she glances to her right, the camera catches focus of a creaking and swinging pirate ship attraction. At the top of the support arms is a statue of Kairi Sane. The wooden wheel of a ship rests on her shoulder, while her other arm is hoisting her coveted Women’s Championship high into the dark and stormy sky. Seated on the swinging ship are the bodies of former Women’s Champion Tessa Blanchard, Becky Lynch, Asuka, and last minute entrant Io Shirai. All women are trying desperately to weasel their way out of their seating constraints and reach up to grab the coveted XWL Women's Champion in Kairi's statuesque grasp. This scene brings a childish and disturbing cackle to our tour guide, Liv Morgan.

As Liv continues passed the pirate ship, she stumbles across a new attraction to her right. This time, a savage and brutish Drew McIntyre is depicted as the cliché “Strong Man” with the World Heavyweight Championship securely fastened around his waist. In his hand is a large mallet, and behind him in an orderly line are the contenders for his World Heavyweight Championship. Just before Drew raises the mallet and sends it smashing down onto the bell, practically shattering the meter off of the top of the scale, we see Aiden English stroking his facial hair, Daniel Bryan securing the tape around his wrists, Aleister Black standing perfectly still, almost like a highly vigilant and sinister mannequin, Tyler Breeze admiring his own image on the screen of his iPhone, and Velveteen Dream tapping his foot impatiently. The Champion lets out a primal yell as his mallet connects with the bell. Morgan’s pseudo-innocent baby doll eyes widen at the sight as she quickly scurries along further to the next exhibit, not wanting any part of that action.

The next thing we come across is a booth with a shelf lined in empty glass bottles lined all the way across. Standing in front of the booth are current World Television Champion and face of Anarchy, Dolph Ziggler, and his challenger, Kyle O'Reilly. Both men have fists full of baseballs, and the grand prize is displayed overhead as the World Television Championship is placed above for all to see, nailed to the top of the wall above the bottles. Dolph is lining up to shoot his shot when Liv trots along and taps him on his left shoulder, causing him to fumble and miss the bottle. When Ziggler spins around to see who was there, Liv was already long gone. Naturally, he turns his anger towards O'Reilly, who insists that it wasn't him, but who would you believe? Both men begin chucking baseballs at each other before finally engaging in a brawl that spills over inside of the booth. Meanwhile, the Problem Child skips away from the scene with a silent and guilty as sin snicker.

While continuing her journey, the Juvenile Delinquent happens across a gypsy-like tent. As she skips over and peeks inside, she (and we) are treated to the sight of Alexa Bliss draped in full fortune-teller garb. In front of her is a crystal ball. Across from her sits a beautiful head of golden blonde hair, with a spotless and polished North American Championship on her shoulder. The camera makes its way to the young woman seated across from the fortune teller, which is revealed to be Mandy Rose, of course. Rose holds her freshly manicured nails up in front of her face, sighing impatiently as Bliss works her hands across the glass ball. Mandy sits up and leans forward curiously as an image appears in the midst of the purple fog. The image is of Alexa Bliss, raising the North American Championship victoriously in one hand with her foot placed on the tanned and toned abdomen of the Golden Goddess. Mandy seems to roll her eyes in response, but Alexa gestures for her to take a closer look. As she does, crystal ball Alexa raises her second arm, a fist full of blonde hair similar to that of the current North American Champion’s. Mandy cocks a suspicious brow as the blonde ball of hair slowly turns around and we realize that it is the decapitated head of Mandy Rose herself! “Don’t lose your head!” Heeds Bliss, as The current Champion let’s out a blood-curdling scream and jumps up from the table, dashing out of the tent and brushing right passed Liv Morgan in the process. Liv sports an exaggerated frown as she pretends to wipe away her tears with a balled fist and a sarcastic: ”Awww!” After she has her fill of giggling and teasing, the Problem Child continues out of the time ent and down her merry way.

Further down the line, Liv encounters what looks to be the Undisputed Era, Intercontinental Champion Buddy Murphy front and center, as Adam Cole and Roderick Strong cheer him on from either side. Upon closer inspection we realize that Murphy is playing a nice wholesome game of Whack-A-Mole, only instead of a mole’s head that is continuously popping up and antagonizing the player, it’s the many faces of Matt Sydal! Buddy’s face is red and laser focused as he harshly hammers away at the spring-loaded faces while his two comrades shout encouragements his way. Finally, it appears that Murphy has successfully taken out the final head, and turns to celebrate with his partners. Just after all 3 men join in unison in a haughty high five, ALL of the Matt Sydal heads in the machine spring out towards them at once, causing all of the collective Undisputed Era to take off out of the shot, Intercontinental Championship in hand! Morgan pulls her blue lollipop out of her mouth in order to point and laugh before popping it right back in and trotting off further down the wet and tattered pavement.

As we continue to follow young Liv Morgan through the relatively abandoned carnival, the Juvenile Delinquent's eyes light up as she finds a functioning carousel. Morgan runs over to get a closer look, biting at the tip of her index finger curiously as she bends forward and her eyes spin back and forth while she follows the stationary characters, impaled by the swirling golden pole that holds them in place. Inside of the engine room and centerpiece of the carousel are the longest reigning Tag Team Champions, Chris Sabin and Chad Gable, the Trash City Stupid Idiots. Both gentlemen have their feet propped up on the control panel as they chow down on some carnival popcorn, watching what appears to be- the Golden Lovers and the Cut Throat Era spinning around in circles! Only, these gentlemen aren't riding one of the majestic (and in this case aged and abandoned) horses or carriages, they ARE the horses and carriages. Sami Zayn, Jay White, Kota Ibushi, and Kenny Omega are all squirming and desperately trying to maneuver out of the pole holding them in place. Liv cocks her head to the side curiously, observing the sight before kicking the bottom of her sledgehammer up and propping it over her shoulder. On the turn of a heel and with the shrug of her shoulders, Morgan keeps venturing down the path.

The next attraction that Liv finds on her journey appears to be a mirror maze. Being perfectly in her element and without even a second thought, Liv heads right inside, swirling her lollipop around in her mouth. Once inside, Liv begins humming a strange tune to herself, having no trouble with the countless reflections of herself around every corner. It was almost as though she had been here before, several times, and knew the exact route like the back of her hand. That familiarity all went down the sewer when suddenly she stops dead in her tracks. In front of her stands none other than her former best friend, partner, and mentor, Sasha Banks! Liv and Sasha have a tricky history to say the least, but there current standing is made abundantly clear when Liv spits out her lollipop and wipes her mouth off with the back of her wrist. The Delinquent wipes both of her feet off on the floor like a bull with a red cape in front of its face. Morgan winds her sledgehammer back like a baseball bat and lets out a shrill scream before swinging it right at the Boss! Thankfully, for Banks at least, the glass shatters and Liv stumbles back, dropping her sledgehammer onto the concrete floor with the thousands of bits and pieces of glass. With that pane of glass out of the way, the last stop for Liv is finally revealed. The Blue-Tongued Brat steps through the broken glass pane and walks towards the final destination.

As Liv's Jordan's crackle over the glass shards and she exits the mirror maze, our cameras finally catch a glimpse of the massive tunnel in the form of a clown's mouth. The sight is any normal child's worst nightmare, but to Liv, it's directly up her alley. Drawing closer to the tunnel, somebody steps out of the mouth of the clown. Dressed like a well-fitted magician, the purple locks of this superstar soon tip us all off to exactly who it is. The real Sasha Banks makes her presence known this time, which instantly puts Morgan back into fight (or flight) mode. Before she can attack, however, the Boss pulls her top hat off and flips it upside down, capturing Liv's childlike attention span with a little magic trick perhaps. Out of the hat, Banks pulls out a fist full of blue raspberry candy. On a whim, Liv's entire demeanor shifts, and she's like a love-struck puppy all over again. Banks turns her back to Morgan and kneels down a bit, while Liv sprints and jumps right onto her back. Before the two start their journey down the "tunnel of love," Sasha reaches over and pulls a large, brass lever just inside of the clown's cheek which causes a few sparks to fly out. After a couple of seconds worth of delay, a massive, previously unnoticed sign composed of countless vanity lights flickers to life, reading: "DOWNPOUR." As the sign comes to life, the volume of the carnival music intensifies, drawing the attention of all of the aforementioned superstars and then some. The Boss 'n' Brat take one final look back at the drenched and deteriorated park, which is now lit enough to show the figures of several superstars all making their way towards the tunnel. Sasha and Liv both smile at the sight, and then to each other. With a naughty and devious grin, Morgan squeals: "IT'S SHOWTIME!" and with a juvenile laugh echoing down the tunnel of the clown's mouth, Sasha carries Liv inside. As the rest of the roster begins to file in behind them, the camera pans back up to the unsettling flicker of the Downpour sign until it covers the entire surface area of the titantron.

LET THE SHOW BEGIN.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Iddvmt10

The show opens with a graphic advertising the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match set to take place later on this evening. As the image fades out of the image, it transitions into a pre-taped series of promos by each contestant. First up, we see Aleister sitting on the ramp leading to the chamber, head down as the camera pulls in and he lifts his head looking directly into the camera.

Aleister Black
Change. Destruction. Suffering. All will be found within this structure. The balance will be shaken. The foundations...cracked. I see struggle. I see pain. What comes next is not for the faint of heart.

Aleister stands as the camera pulls back to stay with him.

Aleister Black
You see, regardless of the outcome the ultimate destination is the same. Pain and suffering for the XWL. Cheer on your heroes. Because I am here to kill their dreams where they stand, and burn the rest to the ground.

The camera then switches. The background stays the same. The chamber standing high and ominous behind the man who sits in front of it now. That man being the one and only, Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan
For the first time in my career, I'll be stepping into the ominous structure known as the Elimination Chamber. It's no secret that it shortens careers, that there's this sense of desperation that causes our primal animalistic tendencies to rear their head for a single goal: Survival. It's quite the price to pay all things considered, but the prize for surviving? It's not just the World Heavyweight Championship, it's not just having that accolade that you were one of the unlucky souls that had to endure not only the physical pain, but also the mental and emotional anguish that comes with it. The prize doesn't have a physical form like the World Heavyweight Championship, the prize can't be bought, it can't be stolen, it can't be taken, it has to be earned. And while the Championship is a good physical representation of it, it is much more valuable than material objects. That prize... is immortality.

Daniel Bryan
Last year, we saw Natalya's rise in this event. We saw someone who after nearly three thousand days finally became a Champion once again. And where was her first defense? Inside the Elimination Chamber. She not only started the chamber as the Women's Champion, she would walk out of it with her reign still intact, while picking up some eliminations along the way. That would solidify her as a force to be reckoned with and the year that followed would cement her as the greatest reign this company has ever seen.

Daniel Bryan
Since my return, I have set two goals for myself and for the past few months, I have tried to accomplish those goals but unfortunately for me, neither of them have been attained. A moniker that was once synonymous with Daniel Bryan is “The American Dragon.” When I was at my best, that was the name I went by, a name that would drive fear into the hearts of my opponents, a name that told anybody I was facing on any given night that I was the biggest threat they have ever come across. It seems like a distant dream now but in my head, if I wanted to be the best like I once was, I had to go back to the man I was before and the way to do that was to once again become worthy of that moniker.

Daniel Bryan
I've been back for five months and I have yet to have a Pay-Per-View victory. That's a tragedy on its own. It started at Breakthrough against Tyler Breeze, one of my five opponents inside the Elimination Chamber, where I lost through some questionable means but at the end of the day a loss is a loss. Then we head into Final Stand and the Fatal 5 Way Elimination Intercontinental Championship match. I made it to the final two in that match and was put through the announcer's table for my troubles. Matt Sydal would walk out with the Intercontinental Championship still in his possession and I would walk out with another loss. International Incident was next and after a phenomenal match, no pun intended, with a returning AJ Styles, The Undertaker would complete his trifecta of attacks on me by ending the match in a no contest. While that wasn't a loss per say, there was no winner so I consider that a loss. And finally, here we are.

Daniel Bryan
As I've said previously, I have yet to compete inside the Elimination Chamber. Normally, that would put me at a disadvantage but fortunately for me, no one else in this match has competed in one either so that puts us on a leveled playing field. The first of my opponents is an old rival of mine in Tyler Breeze. He's someone that's more concerned with his physical appearance than his in ring prowess, someone who is the epitome of a “Superstar.” The difference between us is that he came here to get famous, I came here to be the best wrestler in the world because at the end of the day, Daniel Bryan isn't a “Superstar,” I'm a professional wrestler.

Daniel Bryan
Then there's Aleister Black. While I don't agree with the things he says, it's hard to deny his ability in the ring, and on top of his impressive arsenal, the amount of force he puts behind his strikes is on the precipice of legendary. You saw it in the gauntlet match, all it took was one well placed kicked to put me down for the three count. However, that one kick was after I had already been in two matches previously and I'm not saying that to take away from his victory, it's just a fact of the situation. He had the advantage at Anarchy, he won't have that advantage again and lightning, or in this instance, Black Mass won't strike twice.  Next is Aiden English, a former World Heavyweight Champion and someone I respect. He put in the time and effort and his reward was becoming the World Heavyweight Champion when he cashed in his Money in the Bank Briefcase. While his reign was short lived, he didn't let that stop him and now here he is, inside the Elimination Chamber with the rest of us.

Daniel Bryan
Velveteen Dream. Take everything you hate about Tyler Breeze and add showboating to it and you end up with Velveteen Dream. He likes to hear himself talk but unlike Breeze, he at least tries to back it up in the ring. He'll be the lucky individual, if you can call anybody in this match “lucky,” to enter the Chamber in the coveted number six spot. He'll have the clear advantage in this match but if he'll be able to capitalize on that is a completely different story. Finally, we have the defending World Heavyweight Champion in Drew McIntyre. He is in an inevitable position, not only is he the main target in this match, he's starting it alongside me. The confidence in his ability to emerge victorious is well documented, and he does have history in his corner. I mentioned her earlier, Natalya was in the same position that Drew is currently in, a position he put himself in no less. I admire his decision, I respect it, the issue I see with it is that he's starting the match with me. Tonight, I will shatter the preconceptions that I don't have it anymore, I will start the Elimination Chamber and I will end it. Daniel Bryan WILL become World Heavyweight Champion, and it's not a matter of luck, it's just a matter of time.

We see Aiden English, slowly walking toward the camera, fingers brushing along the side of the Chamber. As he passes over each part of the chainlink structure, we hear the metal reacting to his fingers, as each footstep sends heavy echoes throughout the room. Eventually, he finds himself directly in front of the camera.

{Aiden English}
What does winning the Elimination Chamber mean to me?

Aiden looks back at the Chamber, placed menacingly behind him. For many men, this face to steel confrontation with the structure that could make their life a living hell here tonight would be frightening. But apparently not so for Aiden English, who simply smirks and turns back around to face the camera once again.

{Aiden English}
It means a rebirth. A chance to start everything over again, to put everything behind me. All the doubts, all the worries, all the nagging little thoughts. When I walk into that Chamber and win the World Heavyweight Championship, all of that will be cast aside for a new Aiden English, one who stands to be a fighting champion and to bring prestige back to the title.

{Aiden English}
It means that after I put my body on the line, there will be no doubts as to who is the best in XWL, and the best in world. Because I will show that the rest of these men, the supposed best, can't hold a candle to Aiden English.

{Aiden English}
Most of all, it will mean that the world championship is back where it belongs.

Aiden English stares intensely at the camera as his portion concludes.

The camera swiftly shifts to a slow montage of the King of Cuteville, Tyler Breeze while his gorgeous voice begins to tickle and please our eardrums.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 XVd49O2m

[Tyler Breeze]
What does winning the World Heavyweight Championship mean to me?... Well, I think it’s unavoidably obvious. When I capture the World Heavyweight Championship at Downpour, I will become THE face of professional wrestling, and I think we can all agree that there isn’t a face more worthy of that title than mine. Uggo Champions have plagued this company throughout its history and I think it’s a bit overdue that the XWL Universe has somebody to remind them that not just any uggo can be THE Champion. They need somebody that can snap them back into reality. Somebody they can look up to and realize is far out of their reach. Somebody they can dream that they looked like, walked like, talked like, and dressed like.

The montage switches to a pre-taped shot of Prince Pretty staring at the construction of the Elimination Chamber from ringside.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Xxuw4hAm

[Tyler Breeze]
5 other men inside of an Elimination Chamber? I’d say my odds are exquisite, because if there’s one thing Tyler Breeze consistently does, it’s defy the odds. Just take a look at me, I defied the odds of Mother Nature herself and common human genetics when I was born looking like THIS. Trust me when I say that there is nothing pretty about the Elimination Chamber structure. Well, until this week that is, when I step inside of that pod gorgeous, and step outside of the Elimination Chamber as the most gorgeous XWL World Heavyweight Champion in history.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 A5MaTcLm

[Tyler Breeze]
In the unfortunate case that the mass population of uggos hasn't caught onto this trend yet, and it is rather typical of them to be behind on anything trendy might I add, then I would advise them to do one thing this week...: Always bet on Pretty.

Next up, the camera transitions into Dream as he comes rolling out to the ring on his couch with a microphone in hand. The gigantic 16-foot tall, 10 tons of steel structure hangs in the balances above the ring.

{Velveteen Dream}
Ladies and Gentlemen of the XWL Universe, tonight you get to see the rise of XWL’s greatest up and coming star, while also seeing the fall of the Scottish Empire. Tonight.. You see tonight, these 5 men get to witness the Velveteen Dream Experience up-close and personal. What does it mean to be the XWL World Heavyweight Champion? It means everything in the world to me. It is everything I have ever dreamed of being, and I will become XWL’s youngest ever World Heavyweight Champion tonight.

Dream begins to laugh as the two women that rolled out with the couch rub his shoulders

{Velveteen Dream}
I signed my very first XWL contract just a few short months ago, and I have already done something these 5 men cannot say they have done. I put down the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels at Final Stand. I won my qualifying match in the fastest time of any of these men. And to top it all of, I earned my first World Heavyweight Championship opportunity at a faster rate than any of these men did.

Dream looks out into the crowd before setting his gaze upon the Elimination Chamber in front of him

{Velveteen Dream}
The only thing that stands before me and history tonight, is that steel structure and 5 other men. 5 other men that cannot hold my jockstrap even on The Dream’s worst day. I hope that you all are ready for the ascension of The Dream, because tonight I am all of your worst Nightmares.

Then another swift change. This time to another figure stood inside the chamber. This time he holds onto the chains, looking around at it. Drew McIntyre, World Champion, stands inside of the hellish structure. He's atuning himself to it.

[Drew McIntyre]
What is hell to the Devil himself?

Drew grabs even tighter onto the steel, looking to the camera with determination in his eye.

[Drew McIntyre]
What are you willing to do to stay at the top of the mountain? What are you willing to do to survive? For me, it means everything. It means everything to be the champion that everyone needs. That this company needs. That I need. I have to set the example. I have to be the man. I have to show what it means because those before me haven't.

Drew releases the steel, looking to the camera, talking a lot more calmly now.

[Drew McIntyre]
It's hard to defend in a singles match. Harder in a triple threat. Inside of the chamber, with six other men, is one of, if not the hardest way to defend. Coming in first, it gets even harder. Why would I set myself up for failure? Because when I win, it'll be that much more damn impressive. I'm not here to make allies, or to pander. I'm here to win. I'm here to be the man, and to do that, I have to walk out of the Chamber still your World Heavyweight Champion.

Drew raises the title in triumphant victory.

[Drew McIntyre]
And when I do, everyone will bend the knee to the One True King.

The camera fades out one last time on the Champion, letting his words resonate in the minds of each of his contenders and the hundreds of thousands of fans watching worldwide as we head into the next scheduled segment for Downpour.

The scene opens up with a tall and muscular stocky framed silhouette standing at the top of an arena rampway. The white hot lights are beaming on what now appears to be a male, they are beaming on him and he’s taking it all in.. in this one spot.

A confident voice can be heard over this image as it becomes still and the text below reads out. Each of the quotes toppling over one another to take over.

“There’s not one man who decides the fate of a future other than the specimen before you in the mirror.”

“The chance of success is in the devotion, that is the potion you seek my friend.”

“The many ways to achieve is to believe in.. yourself.”

The silhouette then becomes less of one and more of a competitor who has set his sights on this company. Those white lights now gold and he puts his hand slightly over the beginning of his hood flat. The hood is then pulled off and a zoom in on his face. A curved smirk that symbolizes he’s a big deal.

Stepping out into the gold display, he makes eye contact with the camera and folds his hands, walking towards the ring ominously in a slow stride.

  “GLORIFICATION IN DEMONSTRATION

Kings and Queens roamed the land to retrieve loyalty of their subjects. Not only did they reign with a mighty fist, their will was untampered with. Above all, they had the fortune to set the tone of their entire life line. They were given that scepter, the golden throne and given that by a birthright.

The cameras cut to the announce table as Keith Lee makes his way up the stage and through the curtain while his theme song plays.

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
That was something else! I can’t wait to see more of Keith Lee and bask in his glory!!

[[Corey Graves]]
What a way to start off the show!! Liv Morgan and The Boss, The World Heavyweight Elimination Chamber Match participants, and Keith Lee!! How can this show get any better!! What other surprises are we in for??

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
Well speaking of surprises, I was told that XWL booked a special music act to perform before our first set of matches!! And that’s coming up next!!

[[Rene Young]]
A music act!! I think I saw Taylor Swift in the back!! Maybe it’s her!!

[[Corey Graves]]
God I hope not.. You know Machine Gun Kelly is in attendance tonight. Maybe it’s him!!

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
Who?? Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin?

[[Rene Young]]
No!! Not the Motor City Machine Guns silly!!

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
Well whoever it is, I can’t wait to find out!!

We are shown a quick video package hyping up the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match. As the video comes to a close the camera returns to the ring where we see a ring announcer standing by, mic in hand.

[[RING ANNOUNCER]]
Ladies and gentleman, please silence your cell phones, ready your video cameras, and direct your attention to the stage...

The crowd begins to buzz in anticipation

[[RING ANNOUNCER]]
Please join me in welcoming to the ring…

[[Rene Young]]
Who is it?!?

[[Corey Graves]]
I don’t know Rene, I’m sitting here just like you.

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
Enough you two!! I want to hear who it is!!

[[RING ANNOUNCER]]
It’s......

[[Rene Young]]
Who?? It’s who??! The tension is killi-

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
Shhh!!! Watch!!

[[RING ANNOUNCER]]
Nelly!!!

The crowd goes wild as the music of their hometown artist plays from the loudspeakers

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
Nelly!! Wow!! This crowd is going wild!!

The cheers continue as the crowd awaits the St Louis native

[[Rene Young]]
...Where is he??

The crowds cheers slowly start to fade.

[[Rene Young]]
Should we cut to commercial..??

[[Corey Graves]]
Very professional Rene…

All of a sudden the lights go completely dark in the arena.

[[Rene Young]]
Maybe we should have cut to commercial…

[[Corey Graves]]
Be quiet!!

The arena stays dark for a few more moments until a single spotlight suddenly lights up the center of the ring where...

[[Corey Graves]]
It’s Elias! And he has his guitar with him too! Who needs Nelly when we have Elias!!! We sure are in for a treat!!

[[Rene Young]]
Really?!? Elias?? All that build up just for Elias??

[[Corey Graves]]
What are you talking about? Elias is the single greatest musical performer in XWL!! Maybe even the world!!! I couldn’t be more excited that Elias is finally back!!

The crowd lets out a loud chorus of boos

[[Rene Young]]
Well the crowd sure doesn’t agree with you!!

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
They remember him from the last time that he was here. I’ll tell you, no one knows how to get under the XWL Universe’s skin more than Elias!!

Elias begins to loudly strum his guitar, trying to drown out the boos from the crowd.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Ed599e10

[[Elias]]
Hello I am Elias… And you’re going to remember this forever… I was born a drifter… And my highway is the sky…

Elias looks out at the crowd. His spotlight is just bright enough to show a few of the booing fans from the front couple rows.

[[Elias]]
Nope…

Elias begins to shake his head in disappointment

[[Elias]]
Nope, nope nope. This won’t do..

Elias sighs heavily

[[Rene Young]]
What’s his problem?

[[Elias]]
How do you expect me, ME, The Hardest Working Man in Show Business to perform like this??

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
Did he just compare himself to James Brown??

[[Elias]]
They didn’t make Elvis play in a dump like this!! They never forced Billy Joel to waste his talents on such garbage people!!!

[[Rene Young]]
Really? Billy Joel, Elvis. Who does Elias think he is??

[[Elias]]
This arena still reeks with the stench of defeat!! Yeah that’s right!! I’m talking about that pitiful hockey team of yours; the St. Louis Blues!! As a matter of fact, I have some close personal friends who play for the Boston Bruins, and I called them up before the other nights game and I said; “Hey Jake Debrusk, do me a favor tonight will ya’? Kick the St. Louis Blue’s asses for me!! This city doesn’t deserve a Stanley Cup!! Do it for Elias!!”... And guess what!! He he did just that!!! So you have me to thank for your team blowing it 2-4 the other night!!

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 77aa6210

If there was even just one fan who was on the fence about liking or hating Elias, that decided it for them. Each and every single man, women, child, and even service animal of the sold out Arena in St. Louis is now on their feet booing, cursing, and screaming towards Elias.

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
I hope that there is enough security here tonight!! Some of these fans are getting rowdy!!

Almost on cue one of the fans jumps the barricade, but is immediately stopped by security. Elias laughs as the man is dragged away.

[[Elias]]
Yeah that’s right buddy!!! You’re lucky security stopped you, otherwise I would have given you a hospital bill bigger than your life savings!! I know that you live in a broken city, but I would have had you leaving with broken bones, and a broken pride!! The only good thing that could have came out of it for you, is that you would have been able to say that you got your ass kicked by THE Greatest Performer in XWL History!!!

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
That’s a stretch..

[[Rene Young]]
That’s a lot more than a stretch, that’s just a bold faced lie!! There are tons of talent that have graced the XWL locker in the past and present!! CM Punk, Abyss, The Rock, Ted DiBiase… For Elias to claim to be the greatest performer, well, that’s just disrespectful!!

[[Corey Graves]]
But he is the best performer!! Have you ever heard him play?!?!! There is no better performance than an Elias Performance!!!

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
Well, maybe when it comes to music..

[[Corey Graves]]
You always take things the wrong way. Lighten up a little. We’re in the presence of Elias!! This is a huge deal!!

Elias is still smirking

[[Elias]]
And guess what?? There are no refunds!! So if anyone else so much as hops that barricade then they’re getting taken away from here and not getting a single penny back!! And I know that none of you can afford that!! I drove here, I saw where you live. It’s no wonder that this place is ranked “the worst city to live” by 24/7 Wall Street!! JBL’s buddies knows what’s up. They know that the likes of Elias should never have to perform in a dump like this!!

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 A0866210

A friend of the fan who got taken away can be seen shouting at Elias from the front row. Elias notices him and scowls.

[[Elias]]
What are you going to do? Huh? What is your beer belly, triple chin, ketchup stained t-shirt wearing ass going to do pal? You’re going to jump that barricade and get kicked out just like your buddy? You’re going to lose out on the ticket that you’ve been saving all year to buy? Yeah! That’s right!! You’re going to do nothing!!! Because you are nothing!!! Just like that stupid baseball team on your dirty T-shirt!! Cardinals? Why don’t you support a team that actually matters!! Like the Chicago Cubs!!!!... Let’s go Cubs!! Let’s go Cubs!!!

The crowd is losing their minds now as Elias just laughs and keeps on chanting for the cities rival baseball team.

[[Elias]]
… Anyways… Like I was saying.. I was going to come out here and give you all an exclusive Elias Concert to celebrate my returning to XWL.. However it’s clear to me that you people do NOT deserve it.. However as far as ONE single song goes.. Wellllllllllllllllllll…

Elias holds the “lll” in “well” very long as the crowd groans.

[[Elias]]
You dooooooooooo..

He does the same with the “o” in “do”

[[Elias]]
-ooooo Deserve one!!!

The crowd seems not to care, continuing to boo Elias.

[[Corey Graves]]
What an ungrateful bunch of people!!! Elias just deemed them worthy of a song, and they dare boo him!!!! What a disgrace!!

Elias strums his guitar and clears his throat.

[[Elias]]
Now before I start.. I’m going to have to ask the lighting crew to please dim my spotlight. I don’t want to have to look at these disgusting slobs while I play my masterpiece!!

The crowd boos as the lights dim so that the front row of fans are engulfed by the darkness.

[[Elias]]
Better..

Elias strums a few chords.

[[Elias]]
I’ve been gone for a little bit now..

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 3964dc10

He tunes one of his strings and strums again

[[Elias]]
But I was able to catch last week’s episode of Anarchy..

He clears his throat again and hums a low note

[[Elias]]
I have to say, I wasn’t impressed by much.. The Undisputed Era however was new to me, and I have to say I approve.

The crowd lets out their negative opinions of both Elias and the Undisputed Era.

[[Elias]]
Mandy Rose is also new….. Damn..

Elias shakes his head and smiles to himself.

[[Rene Young]]
What a pig!!!

[[Corey Graves]]
Can you blame him!?!?

[[Elias]]
But still, some things haven’t changed….. Matt Sydal still sucks..

The crowd lets out a loud chorus of boos, clearly not happy about Elias making fun of their hometown hero.

[[Elias]]
Silence!!!

The crowd lets out a noise anything but silence.

[[Elias]]
I SAID SILENCE!!!

The crowd’s boo grow even louder.

[[Elias]]
If you don’t shut up I will leave!!!!

The crowd lets out a cheer finally.

[[Elias]]
That’s more like it!! You cheer when you see Elias with a guitar!! I knew that you would all finally appreciate my talent!!

The crowd’s cheers turn right back into boos like a flick of a light switch. Elias just stares the crowd down until they finally begin to settle back into their seats.

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
That took a while..

[[Elias]]
Ehhemmm....I call this one… “Last week on Anarchy”..

Elias begins to slowly strum his guitar as he sings..

[[Elias]]
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin returned
to the crowd’s moronic cheers,
To tell us how he furthered his alcoholism
over the past two years.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 6616ae10

[[Corey Graves]]
Well “Stone Cold” Steve Austin has been known to drink one too many beers..

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
There’s no such thing as too many beers for “The Rattlesnake” Corey!!

Elias strums the guitar once more and continues

[[Elias]]
He poked fun at Hawkin’s cane
proving he’s both a bully and a prick,
Even though that bum-knee-having redneck
is the one that needs a walking stick.
The Rattlesnake claimed that he is back
regardless of his osteoarthritis,
To drink beer, say “what”, and to not walk,
but to... Job for Elias.

[[Rene Young]]
Elias must be delusional..

[[Elias]]
That brings us to a man who I wouldn’t allow to open for me; Aiden English,
Being XWL’s best music act is a title that he just relinquished.
He says that he hears voices in his head
and blames it on JBL,
If he stepped in the ring with me he would hear; “1, 2, 3” followed by the bell.
His last name is English but I can’t understand what he tries to say,
He should leave the singing to me and either Walk With Elias.. or get the hell out of my way.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 069b8510

The crowd begins to laugh at some of Elias’ jokes, but as soon as it is noticed he quickly stops playing the guitar and looks angrily out at the crowd.

[[Elias]]
WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!!!! Who do you think you are interrupting the music of Elias!!! You don’t deserve to listen to this!! I am doing you all a favor by even being out here!!

Elias clears his throat and takes a deep breath

[[Elias]]
Where was I…. Oh that’s right… Ehhhhhem..

Elias begins to play once more.

[[Elias]]
Next that awful music played
to the cheers of the Cenation,
Out came Cena dressed like a fool
as if it’s his obligation.
He called himself XWL’s welcome mat
but I’ll take on anyone I’m not biased
I never wipe my feet so that everyone can see my footprints and... Walk With Elias

There are an extra loud set of boos at the mentioning of “Walking With Elias”.

[[Elias]]
Then out came Walter “der ring general” to talk about downpour,
I missed what that ogre had to say I was booking my next tour

Elias smiles as he looks out at the crowd

[[Elias]]
That’s going to be July 3rd to the 9th at Harbor Yard.. Tickets go on sale tomorrow…

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 1c484710

[[Rene Young]]
Wow! Talk about a cheap plug!!

[[Corey Graves]]
I’m buying my ticket as we speak!!

He keeps strumming his guitar and goes back to singing.

[[Elias]]
Matt Sydall was next talking about rising from the ashes like a Phoenix,
Speaking of ashes his hometown smells like an ashtray, and no one cares enough to clean it!!

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 E539b710

The crowd goes crazy, booing the ill-mention of their home. A few Matt Sydall chants break out, referencing their hometown hero.

[[Elias]]
He thinks that he got cheated out of his Intercontinental strap,
Like he cheats us out of entertainment when he steps onto this mat.
No one is interested in watching him flip around the ring,
The XWL Universe would rather Walk With Elias... and hear me sing!!

[[Rene Young]]
Speak for yourself Elias!!

[[Elias]]
Buddy Murphy doomed us all by picking an Iron Man Match,
Because now we all have to deal with a whole hour of Matt Sydal and who wants that?!?
Hopefully the Undisputed Era takes care of Sydal before it starts,
And instead we could have an hour long Elias concert… but only with a hefty charge!!

[[Corey Graves]]
I would pay it!!

Elias stops playing.

[[Elias]]
Speaking of The Undisputed Era. Starting today this is a new Era. The Era of Elias.. Years from now everyone will look back on this day as the first time that the XWL.. Walked With Elias!!!

The crowd shows their disagreements in the form of boos.

[[Elias]]
After Matt Sydal wasted way too much valuable TV time the beautiful Mandy Rose was next to appear. Now, I didn’t write anything in my song about this segment because, well…

Elias gives off a devilish grin

[[Elias]]
I wasn’t paying any attention to what she was saying!! I mean can you blame me!! How can anyone care about what’s going on up here..

Elias motions to his mouth

[[Elias]]
When there’s so much going on down there!!

He motions lower

[[Rene Young]]
Disgusting!!

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 3ea95a10

[[Elias]]
I can watch Mandy Rose and Alexa Bliss in a pillow fight or a bra and panties match all day!! But to expect them to entertain us by blabbing their mouths, or even worse… by wrestingLike the men… Let me just put it this way… Expecting a women to be good at wrestling is like expecting a women to be good at politics!! I mean look at the joke of a mayor you all have in office!! If she was a man maybe this city wouldn’t be such a dump!!!

This causes two more fans to jump the barricade in an attempt to get at Elias. Both are thwarted by security. The rest of the crowd could not get any louder with their boos even if they wanted to.

[[Mauro Ranallo]]
I’ve never heard so many unhappy people in one place!!

[[Elias]]
Don’t get be wrong, I’d pay good money just to stare at Alexa Bliss. So I’m not complaining about her being on my big screen TV twice tonight due to having to pull double duty, but I’d rather see a Mandy Rose photoshoot than a women’s elimination chamber match!! But I digress… Aren’t you ready to hear the rest of my song!! Aren’t you ready to Walk With Elias!!

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 48baa710

The crowd let’s out a deafening “No!” Chant.

[[Elias]]
Oh? Don’t act offended!! What? Natalya main events one Final Stand and all of a sudden women’s rights matter? How about you make yourselves useful and shut your fly catching traps so that I can finish my masterpiece of a song!!!

[[Rene Young]]
Security is about to have to drag me out of here if he doesn’t stop talking soon!!

Elias strums his guitar over the boos and continues.

[[Elias]]
Next we saw Chad and Sabin looking backstage all around,
But even after all that searching an ounce of talent could not be found.
Kenny Omega claimed that the “Golden Lovers” would soon be stars,
As if anyone cares about a duo that’s not Elias and his guitars

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 1d1c0610

[[Rene Young]]
I think I hate Elias.. I think I might actually hate him..

[[Elias]]
AJ Styles called out The Phenom and had the crowd resting in peace,
And the talented Adam Cole got attacked out of jealousy,
Now I’ll have to watch my back too since I’m full of talent just like Tyler Breeze….
Which is why he won his gauntlet match with both brilliance and ease!!

Elias let’s the last notes of his guitar linger.

[[Elias]]
And that ladies and gentleman, is “Last Week On Anarchy”, by the great Elias… Now will someone call me a car so that I can get the hell out of this garbage disposal of a city!!

The spotlight goes out, engulfing the arena in darkness once again as the ring announcer tries to speak over the crowds boos.

[[RING ANNOUNCER]]
Ladies and Gentleman… Elias…

Elias’ theme plays in the darkness before we go to a hype up video for The Elimination Tag Team Match.

PostSubject: Re: XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019   XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Icon_minitimeThu May 30, 2019 9:46 pm

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Iddvmt10

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Giphy

As Velveteen Dream is wheeled out on his couch onto the entrance ramp, the crowd begins to loudly chant “Velveteen Velveteen, Velveteen.” Dream stands on top of his couch egging the crowd on. Miss Strum and Miss Veronica take off The Dream’s Purple and Black cape and he steps off the couch. He begins to walk down the ramp shooing away the hands of fans extending for a high-five.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Tenor

Dream stops short of the chamber steps and gazes up at enormous structure in front of him. He slams his hands against the steel steps and enters the chamber. He walks around the ring, stopping at each turnbuckle to examine each empty pod. The ref begins to point Dream in the direction of his pod as the door slides open. Dream reluctantly climbs into the pod.

The lights go out in the arena as smoke begins to cover the stage. Soon after the titantron lights up.

Aleister Black rises from next to the stage, looking around at the crowd as he steps down. He walks through the smoke as he sees the structure of th elimination chamber in front of him. He walks up the steps, finds his pod, and as he steps in drops to a cross-legged seat as he looks around the structure and awaits the remainder of his opponents.

The lights in the arena go black save for a few blue lights pointed towards the stage.

LOOK, LOOK EVERYONE...! IT’S TYLER!

The camera focuses in on a couple of luxury, high-fashion, and authentic chinchilla fur boots that are sashaying their way onto the stage. We switch to a new camera angle which is focused on the stage as the fur boot-wearing vandal spins around and the lights come up, allowing Tyler Breeze to take a quick look ahead at the Elimination Chamber for only a short couple of seconds before Prince Pretty’s attention refocuses on his own appearance in the front-facing camera of his iPhone.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at the winner of the gauntlet match that took place last week between all of the entrants in tonight’s Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship, but can lightning strike twice for Prince Pretty tonight?

[Renee Young]
I mean I think so, he might have a detestable ego but Tyler Breeze has proven that he can hold his own and even come out on top in the big leagues.

[Corey Graves]
The Definition of Delish did win the gauntlet match last week, but he did so by only pinning Aleister Black and the Velveteen Dream. Now it could come down to Breeze only having to pin 1 man tonight, but the likelihood of the situation is that Tyler Breeze is going to be in that Chamber with 5 other men who all want him out of the way after his victory last week. Sure, he gained some momentum, but he’s also proven himself to be a valid threat to Drew McIntyre’s throne, and I don’t think the Scottish Psychopath is going to take too kindly to any competition.

With Velveteen Dream already stationed inside of his respective pod, the Definition of Delish and winner of the gauntlet match just last week on Anarchy, starts making his strides down the ramp. The crowd boos him significantly, but Breeze isn’t fazed in the slightest. Such a response is expected to be thrown out o to the most brash and gorgeous superstar to ever do it. After tucking a strand of blonde hair back into place, Breeze fluffs up the color to his matching fur vest while he glances up at the intimidating structure. No doubt all of the ways that the beautiful Breeze could walk out of this contest severely disfigured are running through his pretty little head as he shakes it off and trots up the staircase and through the door. Breeze floats by the already sealed Velveteen Dream, not even giving him the slightest glance as his eyes remain locked on the prize, which in his case would be his own face within the border of his camera phone.

[Mauro Ranallo]
And there again ladies and gentlemen you see one of the contenders in this match tonight, Velveteen Dream, who as you mentioned Corey, was pinned by Tyler Breeze just last week in the finals of the gauntlet match.

[Renee Young]
Not even a shred of doubt or concern on Breeze’s face, that’s Prince Pretty for you! I’m not sure if that’s wise or not in this particular match, but we’ll find out which one soon enough.

[Corey Graves]
And this is precisely what I was talking about. Breeze already has explicit enemies going into this match after the gauntlet on Anarchy last week. He made an enemy in both Aleister Black and Velveteen Dream, we ALL are aware of his history and bad blood with Daniel Bryan, and as I’ve said already the World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre is surely going to want Breeze out of this match as soon as possible, and although we haven’t seen it play out just yet, I’d dare to say Aiden English isn’t a fan of the King of Cuteville right now either. Good luck, Tyler Breeze.

Once he has successfully arrived at his own pod, Tyler steps inside and shrugs nonchalantly, stroking his defined chin as he leans back against the back wall, snapping a few money shots to post and let others salivate and envy him over after he wins the World Heavyweight Championship shortly, in his mind at least.

The third entrant in the match and the fourth to make his entrance, Aiden English, comes out from the back with high energy, empathetically slapping his chest and yelling to the audience, hyping up the fans. The reaction is positive, but notably quieter than it has been in the past, as it seems many fans may not be as excited for Aiden English after he has lost matches for the championship twice now. Despite this, Aiden appears more confident than he did before either of those matches, yelling out to ear crowd and grinning ear to ear, attempting to assure those in attendance that tonight is his night.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Well, ladies and gentlemen here comes Aiden English, and you have to think, for Aiden this is definitely a do or die situation.

[Corey Graves]
Absolutely. Aiden has been handed opportunity after opportunity, and if he blows yet another one, it stands to reason that he probably won’t receive another one for quite some times, if ever again. He’s at the back of the line.

[Renee Young]
“Blows another one”? Corey, we’ve all seen how his previous opportunities have gone, Aiden English has been screwed out of the title time and time again. But with his guarantee last Monday that he’s ready to pull at that behind him and focus on capturing the championship back, I believe tonight will be Aiden English’s night.

As Aiden makes his way into the chamber, he moves first to the three pods that are already filled. He stares down Velveteen Dream, Aleister Black, and Tyler Breeze, each for some time, each time taunting them and sizing himself up, clearly playing into some of his theater antics we have not seen in some time, trying to gain a psychological advantage. Finally, Aiden moves into the fourth pod, as we await the two men who will start the match off.

As soon as the theme of our Goat Faced Hero, the man that will start this match against the current World Heavyweight Champion, a resounding “Yes!” chant fills the arena, causing a single word to repeat in unison courtesy of the live audience in attendance. As they eagerly await the arrival of one of the two men that will have to go from bell to bell if they want to emerge as the World Heavyweight Champion, the crowd's patience is rewarded when Daniel Bryan makes his way out to the stage, the aforementioned “Yes!” chants growing in volume, if that were even possible to begin with. Bryan's response to this is a simple nod before bending his knees and throwing his fingers up into the air, causing the live audience in attendance to synchronize their motions and verbal support with their fearless hero.

Bryan pushes himself off the stage and begins his descent down the entrance ramp, throwing his arms into the air as the crowd happily obliges by throwing their own arms into the air to mirror him. Almost as if wasn't expecting to reach the chamber as swiftly as he did, Bryan nearly collides into the steps, managing to stop himself before then. He takes a step back and allows his eyes to scan the ominous structure known as “Satan's Structure,” making note of not only its dimensions but also the steel intertwined with steel layered throughout. As he shifts his focus from the chamber to the participants themselves, each locked into a temporary prison in opposite corners of the structure, each houses a facade of confidence but behind their thinly layered outer shell lies genuine fear. Bryan takes a deep breath and begins to scale the ring steps, entering the chamber itself shortly after and making his way through the ropes and into the ring within. He walks into the Elimination Chamber as a mortal man and by the time he walks out, he hopes to take immortality in the form of the World Heavyweight Championship.

The lights dim except for a single spotlight that drops to the stage. Illuminated in the light is a figure with a title around his waist and hair in his face. He throws it back which sends the arena into light, revealing Drew McIntyre looking around at the crowd. They cheer for him, though the reaction is mixed as he shows the look of determination across his face. He smirks slightly before setting his sight on the ring which now holds Daniel Bryan.

[Mauro Ranallo]
There he is Ladies and Gentlemen, the Titanium Tyrant from Ayr, Drew McIntyre! The first entrant into the Chamber and our current World Heavyweight Champion.

[Corey Graves]
That's the last time you will ever say those words. Tonight is the night he loses the title. I'm calling it. He can't survive this chamber.

[Renee Young]
I don't agree. I think that there's a chance of him surviving as the Champion. If anyone can, it's Drew McIntyre.

Drew carries himself to the ring, stopping before entering the chamber. He reaches out and shakes the cage, then steps inside. McIntyre moves to his left, finding the first of his opponents which he raises his title to. Then to the other members in the pods. None looking impressed, and all ready to fight. Or at least hold out until the last minute. Then, he meets Daniel Bryan. The two stare off as McIntyre holds the title high above his head. Daniel smirks as he signals that he's walking out champion. A ref retrieves the title and takes it away so the match can finally begin.

We quickly are brought to our next segment, where all that we can see is a room. The lights in the room are very low, making it impossible to make out anything more than a silhouette standing in the shadows.

[[???]]
Broken bones..

The man’s words come out in a low growl, making it impossible to tell who’s voice is coming from the darkness.

[[???]]
Busted eye sockets..

The lights in the room go completely dark, so that even the silhouette of the man becomes invisible to the naked eye.

[[???]]
Torn ligaments..

You can hear the shattering of glass in the background.

[[???]]
Cuts, bruises, scrapes, burns…

The sound of something crashing to the floor can be heard.

[[???]]
I used to live for that stuff… Hell, I used to enjoy it.. And where did that get me?

We now can hear the sound of wood smashing against wood.

[[???]]
Money.. Fame.. Fortune..

The sound of water dripping on the floor now can be heard.

[[???]]
Keep it..

The lights return, but only enough to show the featureless silhouette of the man once again.

[[???]]
I don’t want it anymore. I don’t want anything to do with it.

The man turns his back to the camera

[[???]]
It broke me.. It ruined me.. It almost killed me..

The lights finally brighten, showing a living room full of debris. A trophy cabinet is shown front and center, completely destroyed. XWL Title plaques, Slammy Awards, and memorabilia can be seen scattered across the floor.

[[???]]
Almost..

The camera finally returns its focus back to the silhouette. All that we can make out are the three words on the back of his jacket; “Explicit Ambrose Violence“.

[[???]]
My name is Dean Ambrose..

The man turns around revealing himself to be none other than the former XWL World Heavyweight Champion; Dean Ambrose.

[[Dean Ambrose]]
This company has brought me nothing but suffering..

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 44d9a510

The camera focuses on a picture laying on the floor in a broken frame. We zoom in even closer and see that the picture is of Ambrose as a child, revealing that this is in fact Dean’s own living room.. He slowly motions towards all of the debris laying around him.

[[Dean Ambrose]]
Sure I got all of these gold “accomplishments”, and tons of title reigns, and because of it this big house, and a bunch of fancy cars, and dinners at expensive restaurants. But none of that is going to give me back what I already lost, and continue to lose because of it… The truth is, I’m most likely going to miss my future kid’s graduation, due to health issues. And that’s if my broken body can still even have kids anymore. Hell that’s if anyone even wants to be with “crazy Dean Ambrose” in the first place; mentally and physically broken by too many years in the professional wrestling industry. My body is decaying in front of my very eyes. Every day that I wake up it’s a struggle to just roll out of bed..

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 7e4ad610

[[Dean Ambrose]]
I don’t mind the pain.. I’m used to the pain.. I can take the pain.. But when I go to the doctor and they tell me that I’m going to need knee surgery, and neck surgery, and elbow surgery, and surgery after surgery after surgery to the point where my body isn’t even going to mine anymore THAT, THAT, that…. That’s where I draw the line..

Ambrose spits angrily, paces for a few moments, before continuing where he left off

[[Dean Ambrose]]
It wasn’t worth it… I finally realized that all of this.. Performing in front of the XWL Universe.. Competing for the XWL World Heavyweight Championship.. None of it was worth it..

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 D3742a10

[[Dean Ambrose]]
So I think to myself.. What made me do it? Why did I put myself through hell night after night, week after week, year after year… Why did I do it? Was it me?.. I thought for a long time that it was my fault.. So, that’s why I left XWL. I thought that I was broken. I thought that there was something inside of my brain that just wasn’t working. I thought that I was the problem… I mean why else would I do what I did to my body? Why else would I risk my future, my well being, my happiness… What was wrong with me??

Ambrose shakes his head in disgust.

[[Dean Ambrose]]
But then I learned the truth.. As I watched XWL Anarchy each and every week I realized what the problem really was.. It wasn’t me.. It’s not the performers.. We simply can’t help ourselves…

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 39eba310

[[Dean Ambrose]]
It’s you!! Each and every one of you!! Begging us to climb one step higher before we jump off that ladder. Cheering us on as we set up table after table. Pretending that you’re on our side!!! It’s sickening just to think about what goes on in your demented little minds!! The way that you feed off of our pain!! Watching at home I was able to realize that it’s the people sitting on their couches with their laptops propped on top of their overgrown bellies, tweeting about how “awesome” it was that an XWL superstar just did something “so extreme” that it almost ended their career.. The people sitting in those stands in the arena right now hoping that one of the Elimination Chamber participants has to be brought out of the ring on a stretcher tonight. Those people, you people, it’s your fault!! My neck surgeries, my bum knees, that’s not on me, that’s on you!!

Dean angrily kicks some of the debris across the room.

[[Dean Ambrose]]
You can’t blame us for wanting to make money. You can’t blame us for wanting to do our job well. You can’t blame us for letting our adrenaline take over when we hear you chanting our names.. That’s just human nature.. What isn’t human nature is chanting “This is Awesome” at the expense of another humans well being. You people are sick!! Wrestling fans are the worst types of people in the world, and the worst part about it is that none of you even know it!! None of you will ever know it until you lace up a pair of boots, step in a ring, and take the biggest ass whooping of your life.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Ae8b2310

[[Dean Ambrose]]
So you must be wondering why I’m back.. If I hate you all so much, and I hate this business, and this company and what it does to its competitors so much, then why am I here?.. Well it’s simple.. I’m here to break the wheel. I’m here to ensure that you people can’t ruin any more lives. That’s right, not careers, lives. Because my fellow locker room mates lives are more important than their careers.. They just don’t see it yet.. And they won’t see it until it’s too late. … So what’s my plan? How am I going to ensure that the XWL universe is put to a stop once and for all?? Well it’s simple.

Dean chuckles to himself.

[[Dean Ambrose]]
I’m going to destroy this company from the inside. I’m going to pick apart XWL one superstar at a time until there is no one left for you to cheer. No more lives for you people to ruin… You might be wondering; “hey Dean, how is destroying XWL going to save anyone?” Well you know how the phrase goes.. “You gotta do a little bad to get a whole lot of good done”.. Or something like that.. I’m not looking at the present, these guys are already too far gone.  I’m looking towards the future. I’m looking out for all of you kiddos watching this show tonight hoping that one day you’ll be the next Matt Sydal.. I’m going to destroy your dreams. I’m going to destroy XWL.. I’m going to end professional wrestling... And I’m doing it for all of the innocent kids who don’t know better. Who only cheer or boo because their idiotic parents tell them to. Who don’t know that if they “follow their dreams” and become an XWL superstar, that they most likely won’t make it past the age of 50!!

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Cdaaf310

[[Dean Ambrose]]
It’s the ugly truth.. I’m living proof.. The demise of Dean Ambrose is over... This is the demise of XWL.. This is the demise of professional wrestling as you know it.. This is the demise of everyone and everything that you know, and claim to “love”.... The question is.. Who’s first..

Ambrose slaps the camera which seemed to be on a tripod, toppling it to the floor. All we can see are his feet stepping over broken glass as he walks away. The camera slowly fades to black before showing a few highlights from the grueling World Championship Elimination Chamber Match.

We cut backstage where we see an unfamiliar face walking down a hallway while talking on her phone. She is wearing a tight blue dress, high heels, and has her long blonde hair tied back in a ponytail.

[[???]]
I know right!!! How lucky am I?!? My first show, and it’s right here in St. Louis!! I’m so happy to be back in my hometown!!

The crowd pops at the mention of their city, happy to see a fellow St. Louis native.

[[???]]
Yep!! My whole family’s here in the audience tonight, I was able to get them great seats with my discount!!

She turns a corner, and the cameraman follows her

[[???]]
I love it so far!! It truly is a dream job!! I have my first interview right now actually. Make sure you’re watching!!

The lady stops at a locker room door.

[[???]]
Her name is Nia Jax.

The crowd boos at the mention of Jax, still not over what she did to “her best friend” Alexa Bliss all those months ago.

[[???]]
Yep.. That one..

She knocks on the door

[[???]]
Okay, thanks!!.. Bye!!

The lady hangs up the phone as the door opens.

[[Nia Jax]]
You must be the new interviewer.

The lady smiles and extends her hand.

[[???]]
That’s me!! I’m actually from St. Louis!! This is my first interview!! My name is-

Nia turns her back on the interviewer without shaking her hand.

[[Nia Jax]]
Look, I agreed to an interview, not an icebreaker exercise.

Nia takes a seat and invites the interviewer to sit down next to her.

[[Nia Jax]]
Sit.

The interviewer skips over to the chair and sits down, not letting Nia’s negative attitude ruin her first day at her dream job.

[[???]]
So Nia, last we saw you on XWL television you had not only lost your best friend, but you lost your Final Stand Match against Alexa Bliss and Kairi Sane. And on top of all that, you were the first to be eliminated in that match…

[[Nia Jax]]
.. Yeah.. okay, so?

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 36762c10

Nia glares at the interviewer who meets her stare with an innocent ear to ear smile.

[[???]]
Well some people are saying that choosing yourself over Alexa Bliss was not only greedy, but it was possibly the worst decision of your career.. At least that’s according to what people are saying on Twitter.. Do you agree? Do you think that everything started going downhill for you the minute you chose a victory over helping your own friend? And if so, are you back to apologize? Is that why you retur-

Nia connects with a huge backhand to the side of the interviewer’s face, knocking her out of her chair. She then picks up the much smaller women by her hair before tossing her into the air, sending her crashing into the metal lockers with a cringe inducing sound. But The Irresistible Force isn’t done there. She quickly lifts her helpless prey onto her shoulders and delivers a bone shattering Samoan Drop on the unforgiving locker room floor… Nia gets to her feet, dusts herself off, and looks at the cameraman.

[[Nia Jax]]
What??

She shrugs her shoulders before unremorsefully making her way out of the locker room as the screen goes black.

A void of darkness plagues the screen. The talking in the crowd hushes as the camera rushes forward towards the darkness and it overtakes your screen. From that point out the blackness starts to lighten and become smoky. And a hand emerges from that bleak visual

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 AnyAjarDaddylonglegs-size_restricted

Bray Wyatt
...Welcome to history. Welcome to a change of things to come. Welcome to...DOWNPOUR! Downpour...what a curious date. It is an important one I promise you. Important to the mythos of not just Bray Wyatt but XWL as a whole. Tonight it represents pain and agony. Agony that is the elimination chamber. Tonight you all will watch entertained as people bleed. As their bones shatter against metal and steel. As their flesh is ripped apart. But I will not judge you all too harshly! I mean after all...It's what we want right? Yeah man, it is. Like hamsters on a wheel we wrestler, no, we human being continue a cycle of self harm. Putting ourselves in harms way hoping and begging for a better life only to fail, be harmed, and repeat that cycle. I could have been apart of Downpour. But at the moment I am too weak. I could not stop any of this as I am. But if there is one thing we humans are good at it's adapting. And like a shape shifter I adapt to XWL and this world more and more with each passing day

Bray Wyatt
I watch and I watch. I make mental notes of humans that interest me. And the World Championship Chamber interested me so much. So many different personalities yet so similar. This world has shaped us to hate each other. Tyler Breeze and Dream may say they hate each other and mean it but could it not be simply because they remind each other of themselves? And we hate what reminds us of us because deep inside we hate ourselves. Our Aiden English and Daniel Bryan so different? Men who the world has kicked around and told they will never be anything? Underdog who just want to prove their worth to everyone. And Alister and Drew...Men who walk in darkness. Silent men who unleash their fury on every poor unfortunate soul who crosses their paths. Does't anyone understand?! We've spent so much time hating ourselves and each other and it never stops. This is why I'm here. This is why I'm needed! Because I can stop this. And after Downpour...I will. Starting with one of those men. We will exchange philosophy and I will pull you to my side. For the sake of peace...

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 JointYellowishHorse-size_restricted

Bray Wyatt
...People have asked me lately...They say "Bray do you really believe you can bring peace?" They ask "How do you know you won't just fail like every other time?" And I don't blame them for it. Because failure has defined Bray Wyatt for years. It takes a strong me to believe he's right. But it takes a stronger man to admit he's wrong. And in the past I have been wrong. In my goals and my methods. You learn nothing when you pain others for pleasure. When you feed off of chaos as if its just a fun past time. But when you pain others for a purpose...When you hurt for a reason...then you may be onto something. I don't fight for my own selfish agenda anymore. I have given myself as a sacrifice for the betterment of the world we live in today! I sometimes want to be a normal man. I want a wife and kids too. I want a stable life of peace and harmony like anyone else. But to do that would be to damn this world. To do this is to turn my back on Abigail and all of you people and I can't be that selfish. In my way of thinking I came upon one truth i will always know to be universal...

Bray Wyatt
And that truth is pain. Pain is a concept that every human can understand. And through pain their is understanding. The pain of breaking a bone. The emotional pain of losing a loved one or lost love in general. The mental pain of losing yourself to this world. We will all experience it at some point if you haven't now. So if everyone can understand pain...we can understand each other. We fight over religion, over money, over politics, over our professions! At some point we must all take a step back and access what is truly important. Togetherness. Understanding. Love. We must get our acts together and if it takes me ripping apart the fabric of your reality to get it then that's just the way it will be. I will become your nightmare and your grim reaper but you will thank me for it! You will thank me and acknowledge that I was in the right all along! And tonight marks the start of things to come

Bray Suddenly gets very serious. He stares into the camera and his eyes look empty. An uncomfortable amount of silence and Bray just staring with a vacant look in his eyes comes and goes before Bray starts to talk again like nothing every happened

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 CompleteScientificDegu-size_restricted

Bray Wyatt
I said that four horsemen would bring apart the end of this world and start anew. Tonight will be the start of that. And the Irony of the date. I loved this person. I tried my best but some times your best is no enough. I failed at my plans and that failure had waves of consequences that are still being felt today. A single pebble can create ripples in water and that is exactly what happened. I failed and the way it changed XWL can still be felt in ways. I wondered for years where I had gone wrong. Was I too tough? Was I not tough enough? I tried to carry on with my failure. But Their existent wasn't something I could ignore. I tried to fix what I failed at but I was always blocked. They were strong. And they had a stronger friend that always kept me away. But things can and will be different this time. This time it will go like it was always meant to be! I will not fail this time!

Bray Wyatt
There is a poem Abigail used to say to me

Suffering is universal
Human can be so cruel
Empathy and understand is dead

Will and fortitude has been sucked away
Ill will and misery has been replaced
Love and joy cannot be sustained here
Lives have no meaning in recent years

Raped of our purpose and goals
Even our childrens have forgotten the ways of old
Truth and lies dance as one of the same
Urns line the street holding memories and pain
Reality bends to the wills of the strong
Never forget to spread my message when I'm gone

Bray stops talking and closes his eyes. Almost like she's meditating. He opens them again and smiles into the camera

Bray Wyatt
Did you understand that people?

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 D164b810

{Michael Cole}
Hello and welcome everybody to this very special interview on XWL’s very own pay per view event, Downpour, live from the Enterprise center right here in St Louis, Missouri. Without further ado, please help me welcome my guest at this time, P......

Suddenly Michael Cole stops mid-statement by a hand waving frantically back and fourth in front of his face. Michael looks across to the man seated in front of him, still out of the cameras frame in a bit of shock and disbelief, aswell as a pinch of embarrassment.

???
Thank you Michael but I am quite capable of performing my own introduction. Ladies and Gentlemen my name is.....

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 8891b810

{Paul Heyman}
Paul Heyman, and I am the Advocate for THE BEAST. The Beast that is a former NCAA champion with an un-comprehendible one hundred and six wins and five loses. The beast that has been inside the hellacious structure that is the UFC Octagon and came out triumphant as the Unified UFC Champion. A Beast that has been across the sea to not only compete, but dominate the competition, ultimately winning the esteemed IWGP Heavyweight Championship. A beast that did nothing but conquer and leave a trail of bodies and destruction in his path starting in OVW, then WWE, and ultimately leading to where we are today, XWL. A beast that in his debut, was seen as the hottest commodity in the history Professional Wrestling. A Beast, Michael Cole, that goes by the name.....BROOOCK LEEESNAAAR!

{Michael Cole}
Well Paul, that brings me to my first question. Why is it that you wanted this interview right here tonight, and this may be more of a personal question, but why did you want me to conduct this interview of all people?

Paul grows a saddened look upon his face as he looks across the table to the man seated before him.

{Paul Heyman}
Oh come now Michael Cole. You can’t have that low self of steam. Why wouldn’t I want you? You may have never been cut out for live broadcast commentary, but your a semi decent interviewer. You may not have nearly the qualifications, experience, vocabulary, or thought process of the business, but your decent. Don’t be so hard on yourself.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 A7049310

{Michael Cole}
Thank...you?

{Paul Heyman}
Your welcome Michael. Now back to the first half of your abstained question. I’m here speaking on behalf of my client, what else would someone such as myself be doing in the same proximity as someone like you?

{Michael Cole}
And Id have to take the educated “guess” in saying that you can only be referring to your client, Brock Lesnar seeing as you stated earlier on, Brock Lesnar truly is the “measuring stick” if you will for the XWL. No one can argue that He is one of the most decorated superstars not only in XWL history, but the history of professional sports and entertainment. That being said, I don’t think anyone could ever forget your client, nor yourself for that matter. Simply put, without a Paul Heyman there probably never would have been a Brock Lesnar.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 C0bbe610

{Paul Heyman}
Is that it?

{Michael Cole}
I uhh, I th.....

{Paul Heyman}
No Michael Cole, you don’t think. Now I asked you a question. Are you done?

{Michael Cole}
Well yes I suppose so?

Paul begins to nod his head slowly, as he simmers on whatever idea is in his brain before he continues to speak.

{Paul Heyman}
The reason I ask is because that isn’t a question Michael Cole. I’m here for an interview. I’m here to discuss subject of great importance. He here to address the XWL Universe with news that they may, or may not have known, but do in fact NEED to know. But you sit here, and you attempt to prove me wrong, not even five minutes after I give you praise for the limited amount of mediocre talent that you do have. You sit here and take “guesses” at my agenda. You sit here and you don’t ask me questions. You make statements. Statements that aren’t even factual. You stated that my client Brock Lesnar is some sort of “measuring stick” here in the XWL. That he is the one that measures ones merit. When you see Michael, Brock Lesnar couldn’t care less. Brock Lesnar couldn’t care less, BECAUSE, There is no measuring stick for stepping into the ring with a beast. When you step into the ring with a beast, your lucky if he allows you to walk out at all, much less with having somehow “proved something” more than you don’t have what it takes to step in the ring with my client, Brock Lesnar.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 E8a1e310

{Paul Heyman}
You then go on to spout even more nonsense saying “without Paul Heyman there would be no Brock Lesnar”. Are you an idiot Michael Cole? Are you the feeble-minded, birdbrained, dimwit your making yourself out to be? I mean honestly, that has to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Paul Heyman May have helped Brock Lesnar get to where he is today is sports entertainment, but know this to be without a shadow of a doubt one hundred and ten percent true. Brock Lesnar made Brock Lesnar. I didn’t win the UFC Heavyweight Championship. Brock did. I wasn’t a NCAA champion. Brock was. Im not a former champion in WWE, NJPW, and XWL. Brock is. Since his wrestling debut back in 2000 in the developmental system of WWF, absolutely everyone knew It was only a matter of time before Brock Lesnar was a star. It was only a matter of time before Brock Lesnar was the champion. It was only a matter of time before Brock Lesnar was Main Eventing PPV’s, his face plastered on the posters, on the cups, on the shirts, the pillows, the action figures, the video games. Whatever Brock Lesnar wanted was well within his grasp and it was only a matter of time before everything he ever could have wanted was his. Fast forward nearly twenty years, and it still reigns true. Brock Lesnar is still THE BEAST!

Michael begins to become slightly agitated, not sure what’s the “right” thing to say. So he simply looks up to Paul in a final effort.

{Michael Cole}
Okay then how about instead of me insulting you even more we just get straight to the point. The question everyone has on there mind. When will we see the return of your client Brock Lesnar?

{Paul Heyman}
You won’t.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 24d23010

{Michael Cole}
Excuse me? What do you mean we won’t Paul?

{Paul Heyman}
Exactly what I said Michael. You won’t. At least not anytime in the near future.

{Michael Cole}
But I thought you said your client Brock Lesnar was why you were here today. I could have only guessed this meant a return to XWL.

{Paul Heyman}
No Michael, if you had actually done your job, you’d have realized I NEVER Said Brock Lesnar was returning to XWL.

{Michael Cole}
Then who is?

A sadistic smile stretches across Paul’s face as he looks from Michael Cole to directly into the camera, as this is obviously the question he’s been waiting for. His smile fades as he begins to speak with emotion in his facial expression.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 25f22410

{Paul Heyman}
She is known around the world as the arm collector. She is a Former UFC fighter and first ever UFC women’s champion. She is my newest prodigy, and the next mega star in the XWL women’s division. She will soon be making her much anticipated return to an XWL ring, Ladies and Gentlemen I am talking about the one, the only.....ROOONDAAA ROOOUSEEEY!

{Michael Cole}
Wow, I’ve got to say I wasn’t really expecting that. I mean, the last time I, or anyone in the XWL Universe for that matter saw Ronda Rousey was right before Final Stand while she was feuding Rosmary before she simply vanished. Surely she’s got some kind of explanation? Reasons for the disappearance?

{Paul Heyman}
Do you for some reason feel she owes you, or anyone an explanation Michael?

{Michael Cole}
Well yes actually I do, and I feel like XWL owner Vince McMahon probably feels the same way. Along with every one of the fans that paid for a Final Stand ticket expecting a Ronda Rousey Match.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 783b6410

{Paul Heyman}
Aww, is Michael Cole going to cry? Is he upset that he didn’t get what he wanted for Final Stand? Is he sad because someone stood up to “big daddy Vince” and got away with it?

Paul stands up out of his chair and makes his way over to Michael Cole before hugging his neck and patting his back.

{Paul Heyman}
Your gonna be okay. Everything is fine. Don’t worry about it. Just sit here, suck it up, and let’s finish this interview.

Michael looks slightly disturbed and embarrassed as Heyman stops and makes his way back to his own seat.

{Paul Heyman}
Anything else?

Michael Cole looks almost as if he can’t speak. His face begins turning red with anger and embarrassment at the same time. He is obviously flustered, which Paul can easily sense so he chooses to “help” him out.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 2ac31d10

{Paul Heyman}
Then let me finish this interview for you Michael Cole. You see, there’s something you, Vince, and everyone else need to understand. Ronda Rousey doesn’t play by XWL’s rules. Ronda Rousey plays by Ronda Rousey’s rules. My client felt like Vince was not giving her what she deserved. Weather it be her salary, championship contention, or Main Event spots.  My client knows her worth, and when XWL attempted to screw her, she screwed XWL. Right before the biggest show of the year, Final Stand eleven, she was scheduled in one of if not the biggest match on the card. “The Arm Collector” Ronda Rousey versus “The Mentally Insane” Rosmary, which of course as everyone knows didn’t happen. She did what she needed to do. She walked out.She walked out to prove a point. That point is that Ronda Rousey doesn’t need XWL. XWL needs Ronda Rousey. My point being proved with her return. She was made an offer unlike any other. One of the largest salaries for any member of the XWL female roster, ever. An opportunity that I unfortunately am not at the liberty to discuss...yet. And the respect that she has earned her entire life. You see, she isn’t some no-name Hollywood actor that’s come to try their hand in wrestling. She’s a former Fighting Champion that’s come to take the gold in a different fashion. So mark your calendars and set your alarms. Next week, is the return.....of Rousey.

And with that Paul Heyman stands up and fades from the screen leaving Michael Cole alone and Downpour moves on to its next segment.

A dark figure emerges from a dense fog, walking along a stormy beach, towards the camera. Waves crash behind her, spraying the camera with drops of salt water. The wind howls as figure draws closer and the camera begins to focus. We see her profile, blonde hair dripping with seawater, looking out towards the oncoming storm, with a determined and confident gaze. Her voiceover begins, the beach sounds fade slightly as she begins to speak.

Rhea Ripley
I've been waiting....most people wait their whole lives, wanting to do what they always thought they were supposed to be doing....

The scene shifts into a view of the ocean, the water reflecting the dark clouds above, obsidian waves crashing into themselves, rushing over the sandy shores.

Rhea Ripley
What most people see as the horizon, I see beyond that.

We now see further from the beach, the fog lifts slightly, the camera zooming in slowly towards the edge of the sea, where the water is calmer and light peaks from the storm clouds, radiating down onto the dark ocean.

Rhea Ripley
The women of XWL have long been awaiting a reckoning that is the Elimination Chamber, but I'm from a land where the rocks cut deeper than steel, the sun melts glass and the water rubs salt in the wounds. I am the salt of the earth, the real reckoning of the Women's Division. When high tide comes, there will be no pods to hide in, no water to swim away, no rocks for cover, and there sure as hell won't be any sunshine.

The camera travels up the coast, focusing in on treacherous rocks peaking from the water and jutting out from the sandy beach, the waves crashing especially violent against them

Rhea Ripley
To everyone in XWL, I am your dreams turned into nightmares, I am the void beyond the horizon, the cuts deep inside, the salt in your wounds, your day of reckoning and I am

The view turns around slowly, focusing in on the dark jagged rocks and we see her black boots standing strong atop the rocks. The camera pans up her body to her face, and she smirks confidently, eyes fixed on the camera. Waves continue to crash and spray around her as the scene begins to fade to black.

The Reckoning
Rhea Ripley

Really enjoyed that Rhea promo, honestly all the promos so far have been great, nice to see Pats/P1 come back and not skip a beat or in Pat's case come back even better than ever. Cool introduction to Ronda coming back to the division, Nia making her bullying return...and Keith Lee. A lot of fresh/returning talent. Also awesome Bray promo, let's keep it up! cheers

As the scene opens up, we get a shot of what seems to be a rundown liquor store. A sign hangs above the door that reads "Diaz Downtown Liquor". Instead of letting light into the store, the windows are covered in alcohol and tobacco ads that show off low prices that “can’t be beat!” The store has a single door that once had glass that scaled the door top to bottom, but now that glass has been replaced with a large sheet of plywood as it seems someone tried to get a free drink a night or two before. As we begin inching our way toward the store we notice dirty, dejected man sitting on the ground in front of the store. He is seated against a large ice cooler that is flush with the right side of the building.

The man has long brown hair that doesn’t appear to have been washed in months. His beard looks like shit, but only because he lacks the ability to grow a decent one. The man is wearing a dirty, oversize pair of Zubaz pants. He sports a bright yellow Ultimate Warrior tank top and white mustang sunglasses. In his right hand, he holds a cracked glass jar that contains a single dollar bill inside. In his left hand, he holds a lit cigarette.

A customer is seen leaving the store. Quickly, the dirty man leaps from the ground and rushes over to the leaving customer.

?????
“Hey! Hey!”

The customer begins to walk faster toward his vehicle, but he is too slow for the dirty man. With a hand grabbing his shoulder, the customer turns around.

Customer
“Please! I don't want any trouble!”

The dirty man chuckles.

?????
“No man, not that. I just need some help. You see, it’s my son. He’s had a faulty kidney since he was born and I’m trying anything to raise funds for...”

The customer interrupts the dirty man.

Customer
“Holy shit! Are you Joey Janela?”

The dirty man smiles and throws off his sunglasses, revealing that he is indeed Joey Janela.

Joey Janela
“You bet your ass I am.”

The customer looks shocked, not expecting to find one of his favorite wrestlers hanging out in front of a liquor store. He pulls out a phone from his pocket.

Customer
“Could I get a picture, Joey? My friends won’t believe me if I don’t.”

Joey Janela
“Yeah, but it’s gonna cost you. I usually charge ten-bucks for a picture, but shit… for you? How does five sound?”

Joey’s request of payment for a simple selfie confuses the fan for a moment, but it’s not every day you run into Joey Janela. The fan begins searching around for his wallet. After a few seconds, he pulls it out and retrieves a five dollar bill. The fans hands the bill to Joey and places the wallet back into his right pocket. Joey positions himself on the left side of the fan. As the two pose for the picture, we see Joey Janela’s hand reaching behind the fans back and slowly dipping two of his fingers into the fans’ pocket in an attempt to steal the wallet. Before Joey is successful, the fans snaps the picture and turns toward Joey.

Customer
Thank you so much, Joey! You made my fucking week, bro. I’ll be sure to tag you in the post.

Joey shines a fake smile toward the fan as he takes a few steps back.

Joey Janela
For sure, man. See ya.

Joey turns back toward the liquor store and begins talking to himself.

Joey Janela
Fuck, man… Fuck. I almost had that fucking wallet. Stupid little pussy fingers Joey can’t snag a simple fucking wallet. What a shitty fucking day….

Joey shows a puzzling look as he recalls what the fan just said.

Joey Janela
Post? Like online?

Joey’s eyes grow wide as he fears what his fans will think seeing him in his current condition.

Joey Janela
"Fuck it.."

Joey counts up all six of his dollars and heads toward the liquor store door to buy himself a drink. As he reaches the door, it swings open. Quickly, a large Cuban-American man with grey hair steps out and confronts Joey Janela. He looks to be the store owner.

Owner
“Listen here you low life motherfucka! I’m tired of you homeless fucks lounging around in front of my store. Ya scaring off my customers with your stinky fuckin' feet and your shitty fuckin' breath, alright?”

Joey looks down to his bare feet on the sidewalk. He nods his head, agree with the old man.

Owner
“Listen, bitch. I wake up at six in the morning every fuckin’ day and get to fuckin’ work. Where the fuck is your job, huh?”

As Joey is about to answer, he is interrupted.

Owner
“Rhetorical you little shit. You don’t have one and you ain’t gonna find one looking and smelling like that. Look at that hair! You look like a fucking punk! Cut that shit, shave those fuckin’ pubes off your face and go get your shit together.”

Joey smirks and holds up his six dollars as if he’s some sort of big shot.

Joey Janela
“I appreciate the advice old man, but I just want to buy a drink.”

Owner
“Nope, you ain’t coming in my store looking like that, you dumb motherfucka! I built this fuckin’ store with my own two fuckin’ hands and I’m not about to let some stinky five foot nothing dickhead with no shoes inside. Besides, where the fuck are you gonna drink it? I know you weren’t planning on drinking in front of my store! You know what? Why don’t you get the fuck out of here before something bad happens to you, alright?”

Joey smirks once more but this time, the smirk is followed up by a push to the shop owner.

Joey Janela
"YOU WANNA GO, OLD MAN?!"

Owner
Wrong fucking move.

The shop owner steps forward with his right fist clenched. The shop owner connects with a clean right hand to the jaw of Joey Janela. As the dirty man falls to the ground, we see the shop owner now.

Owner
Shit, man. What the fuck?! Look what you made me do!

All we hear is snoring from the ground below as the video fades out.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Empty
PostSubject: Re: XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019   XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Icon_minitimeWed Jun 05, 2019 8:31 pm

We're live in St. Louis, and a video package highlighting the recent rivalry between hometown hero Matt Sydal and Intercontinental Champion Buddy Murphy finishes playing, the audience grows loud as they realize that match is indeed next. But while they are team Sydal through and through...they know that at least two men in the arena tonight are team Buddy Murphy. Because those two men are responsible for Buddy's crowning at International Incident when thanks to the assistance of Roderick Strong & Adam Cole...Matt Sydal was held within the rungs of a ladder as his Intercontinental Championship was pulled down by The Undisputed Era's newest chosen one Buddy Murphy. Tonight is Matt's rematch, a match that not only favors him, but practically defines him. He is The Iron Man of XWL...and Buddy Murphy not satisfied with taking Matt's friends, and his title...now looks to try and take the last thing he has left...his moniker as XWL's Tony Stark.

The lights in the arena dim, as without much delay a gold spotlight casts down over the top of the stage...and standing under that spotlight is a man that brings the cheers within the arena to an explosive pitch. For this man, this figure is wearing a red baseball cap, with black letters that have been outlined in white that have the letters "SLT." Clearly letters that resonate with every fan in the arena tonight. But what resonates doesn't stop at just the hat...no it's hard to miss the pure white classic St. Louis Cardinals pants. What's even harder to miss, is the Red jersey tucked into those pants with a "gold" bat that has two Red cardinals on each side of the bat. However the details of this do not stop there...no, if you needed any confirmation that this was in tribute to The St. Louis Cardinals baseball team...well it says Cardinals underneath the bat, with the number "10" written in gold.

The figure lifts his head, staring out into the frenzied St. Louis crowd, then flashes a smirk, as his hand pulls his cap down, and his other hand...slowly lifts a gold bat that was at his side. "Home plate" underneath him, starts to light up...but it's not white, it's not "gold"....it's literally in the image of The Intercontinental Championship.

He sweeps both feet against the floor, getting traction, and bringing the bat within both of his hands as if he were in an actual baseball game, and he was up to bat. Laser focused, he stands there, as the camera quickly pans down the ramp and to the ring...where a shadow figure stands in the ring, with a baseball that isn't exactly typical by any means. It's black with an obnoxiously multiplied "Undisputed Era" logo. They give a nod towards Sydal, who as the camera pans back to him...turns slightly to see a rather large burly figure behind him, wearing an Undisputed Era t-shirt, and baseball cap.

His eyes veer down to the "plate" under him...he aspires to regain his title tonight, to "steal" home plate back from the man who stole it from him. Again his focus intensifies, as both hands firmly grip the bat, slightly swaying it as he anticipates the ball being thrown his way. The pitcher suddenly throws his ball, and it comes flying up the stage...Matt stands there for a moment keeping his eye on the ball until he SWINGS....and the ball cracks off the edge of the bat and is sent flying as the arena feeling like they're now being transported to a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game, somehow gets even louder as they see the ball zoom out of the confides of the ringside area until it is no longer visible!

Upon admiring his "outfield" hit...Matt tosses the bat to the floor, and with the fans rooting him on dashes down the ramp, turning the corner as the "Undisputed Era pitcher" has hopped the barricade to retrieve the ball. We now notice that the name "Sydal" is written on the back of his jersey with the same number "10" under it. He sprints past the commentary team who have remained silent during all of this, Renee and Mauro jumping out of their seats rallying behind him...as Corey sits in his chair arms crossed and a sour expression on his face. Clearly Corey isn't enjoying this elaborate entrance...but we don't see his disgust for long as Matt's run extends beyond the announce area and he turns the corner again running back towards the area of the ramp. He takes this time to touch the extended hands over the barricade, running as fast as he can to return back to home plate. But, in classic Undisputed Era fashion...as Matt returns to the ramp, ready to complete the last step in his home run...the burly umpire tries to stand in his way lifting his foot up to connect with some sort of big boot...but Matt ducks underneath it, and slides forward as he reaches the top of the stage....and LANDS ON HOME PLATE!

Again the arena erupts as fans on all sides scream, jumping up and down as if he just won already...because this is what you call symbolism. This is what this upcoming match is, a baseball game that Matt is looking to win, he doesn't want to strike out, he wants to hit A HOME RUN AND REGAIN HIS INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

As Matt rises up, safely on home plate, his hand touches the digital graphic of The Intercontinental Championship that acted as home plate. His other hand reaches up to his hat, slowly pulling it off as he tosses it into the crowd, and his head raises..as we see his "game face" is indeed ON.

[Renee Young]
Talk about hitting it out of the park, THAT is how you make an entrance...would you just listen to this arena?!

[Corey Graves]
A bunch of obnoxious Cardinals fans screaming at the top of their lungs for an obnoxious Superstar that refuses to make an entrance like a NORMAL person? I'll pass on both accounts thank you.

[Mauro Ranallo]
What are you talking about? That was an incredible way to pay homage to his hometown of St. Louis tonight.

[Renee Young]
I think it's very clear that he doesn't intend on "striking out" tonight.

With his infectious tune now making its rounds through our ears, Matt Sydal stands at the top of the ramp and points to the number "10" on his custom Cardinals jersey. You see a determination in his eyes, and a certainty in the way that he points to this number.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Perhaps one of the most symbolic details about this entrance tonight is his jersey. Matt Sydal is a two time United States Champion, a three time World Heavyweight Champion, a one time X-treme Champion...and a THREE time Intercontinental Champion.

[Corey Graves]
Okay so apparently neither of you can count, THAT'S NINE!

[Renee Young]
Corey, you seriously cannot be this consumed with your disdained for this man to be THIS blind?

[Mauro Ranallo]
The number TEN representing the number of reigns Matt Sydal will have had after tonight should he regain The Intercontinental Championship.

[Corey Graves]
Clearly someone's overconfident...remember what happened the last time he led with his confidence? Oh, that's right...he LOST his Intercontinental Championship.

Matt's hands drift to his waist, as he motions around it and shouts "NUMBER TEN TONIGHT ST. LOUIS!" Again he directs the focus to the number on his jersey, this time pounding it with his fist before beginning his descent down the ramp. He may be Iron Man but tonight he heads into battle as a St. Louis Cardinal with the home field advantage. Not only is he competing in front of his people, he is competing in HIS match. For the last year Matt Sydal has redefined himself as The Iron Man of XWL. That wasn't just a fancy moniker he suddenly called himself, it was a name he earned when he repeatedly competed in Iron Man matches, and WON. Perhaps most impressive of all was his first defense as Intercontinental Champion in the first Triple Threat 60 Minute Iron Man Match. But can he defend that name and walk out a 4 time Intercontinental Champion tonight? He runs down the ramp past the fans extended hands slapping them as he passes by, then stops as he reaches the end of the ramp. Surveying the very ring where it will all go down. Where 60 Minutes will appear on a clock, and pin-falls and submissions will be called within its confides.

[JOJO]
The following is a 60 MINUTE...IRON MAN MATCH FOR THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first...

The Enterprise Center was already buzzing, but before the announcer can even say his name, or where he's from they get louder.

[JOJO]
From right here in ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI...weighing in at 165 lbs...MATT SYDAL!!

Matt looks around as St. Louis gives him one hell of an ovation, which certainly calms any nerves he may have the instant the reaction is in full swing.

[Mauro Ranallo]
This may be Matt's match...but for Buddy Murphy to decide THIS would be the match he defended his title in...that has to come with a reason. And that reason isn't because he plans to lose.

[Renee Young]
It's puzzling that he would challenge IRON MAN...to an IRON MAN match. He's taken Matt's friends, he took his title...and now he's coming for The Iron Throne.

[Corey Graves]
He has his crown, and after tonight? Buddy will have his throne, and Matt Sydal one of the most decorated Superstars in XWL....will be left with NOTHING to his name. That is the impact of Buddy Murphy a man who has taken this company by storm.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Hurricane Buddy Murphy has left Matt's very identity in shambles...but I question whether or not he's too focused on trying to take the last thing Matt has to even realize the tough challenge ahead of him tonight. The last Iron Man Match Matt was apart of saw him not only not suffer a single pinfall against him in 60 minutes, but saw him score THREE within those 60 minutes. Buddy is going to have to be exceptional tonight, and not that he isn't...but the pressure is on and as Matt has proven many nights before now, he thrives under pressure.

Matt slips off his Jersey and spots a fan close to the barricade as their father holds a sign that reads "IRON MAN IN THE MAKING!" with an arrow pointing down, presumably at the little boy. Matt approaches them and extends the jersey to the kid with a smile who looks up to their father with shock and amazement. Their father nods with a proud gleam in his eye as the kid snatches the jersey out of his presumed hero's hands and starts screaming excitedly as Matt shifts his focus back to the ring. Both hands grip the front of his white "Cardinals" pants and they soon pull away from his legs revealing his classic "IRON MAN" gear that seems to be slightly updated with darker red tights. A subtle change that we notice as he sprints forward, leaping off the floor and sliding under the bottom rope entering the ring and immediately propping up onto the second rope as he again motions around his waist that he's leaving tonight as the NEW Intercontinental Champion.

[JOJO]
And introducing the Intercontinental Champion… from Melbourne, Australia… weighing in at 227 pounds… representing the Undisputed Era… BUDDY MURPHY!

The Intercontinental Champion was stepping into enemy territory. The crowds were normally against him but this crowd was different. This crowd loathed the Australian superstar. This was the hometown of the former champion and his opponent tonight. Murphy stepped through the curtain with his championship wrapped around his waist. His steps are slow as he makes his way out onto the stage. There wasn’t a look of fear in his eyes. That confidence was in fact still there as he reached the top of the steps. Murphy scans the crowd, looks down the ramp to see Matt Sydal in the ring, and then he… laughs. The Intercontinental Champion laughs as he says the words “something is missing” before he turns around and begins to walk back behind the curtain. Matt Sydal is confused and so is the commentary team.

[Renee Young]
What’s going on? Doesn’t he know the ring is this way?

Matt Sydal questions the referee and then checks his back to make sure this wasn’t some elaborate distraction for Roderick Strong to attack him from behind. A moment later, Buddy Murphy would come back out from behind the curtain. This time he is wearing a baseball jersey of his own on his upper body except it’s not a St. Louis Cardinals jersey. It’s a jersey of the rival team. It’s a Chicago Cubs jersey which sure enough is enough to get the crowd to hate him even more. Who would’ve guessed that’s even possible?

[Corey Graves]
This is brilliant on behalf of the champion! If these fans want to hate Buddy Murphy then he’s going to give them a reason to. What better way than to support the home team’s rival?

Murphy approaches the camera as she shows off the jersey which he was wearing. He even says “I have no idea who number twelve even is” which makes it even more obvious that he’s not even a Chicago Cubs fan. He’s only wearing it to get a reaction out of the crowd. The Intercontinental Champion decides now to continue one with the rest of his entrance. He steps to the top of the ramp and begins to pound his fist on the ground a couple of times before throwing his hands up and spreads his arm out wide.

[Mauro Ranallo]
He’s chosen to wear the jersey of a Chicago Cubs player and for those of you unaware, the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals have been locked in a heated rivalry for years now in baseball. Is this mind games or is this our champion sticking it to Sydal’s hometown?

[Renee Young]
You want to know what I think this is? I think this is a show of overconfidence. I don’t trust Buddy Murphy one bit because he could have a trick up his sleeve for all we know. I’m crossing my fingers that we go into Anarchy with a brand new Intercontinental Champion. I’m over Buddy Murphy and I’m over this new Undisputed Era led by Buddy Murphy.

[Corey Graves]
Get the facts straight, Renee. Buddy Murphy might be the one with the championship but he is not the leader of the group. He’s made himself clear when he’s said that they are equals. No one superstar is above the other unlike when Matt Sydal was in charge of things. If you’re going to try to insult someone then at least get your facts straight.

[Renee Young]
I don’t care if he’s the leader or not. We deserve a better champion. We deserve a fighting champion. A fighting champion who will fight anyone and not just pick and choose his opponents. That’s the kind of champion Buddy Murphy has been his entire reign.

[Corey Graves]
You are delusional. He’s tried to give championship matches to the superstars who have been wronged. The superstars who have been passed by and been forgotten about. I’m sorry that you don’t see it like some of us do but Murphy has been trying to give people a chance.

Murphy continues to step down the ramp with his arms spread wide and his Chicago Cubs jersey on full display for all the fans to his left and right to see. Most of them boo him. There were a few who didn’t seem to care but those people must not have been baseball fans. Regardless, most of the fans of booing Murphy and throwing a thumbs down at him.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Would you two stop bickering? We have a 60 minute match to get ready to call!

Murphy charges at the ring and slides beneath the bottom rope and ends up on the apron closest to the hard camera. The Intercontinental Champion looks back at his challenger as he removes the championship from his waist and points to it while yelling the words “This is mine!” at the game Matt Sydal. Murphy turns back to the crowd and extends his arms and poses for the crowd which wasn’t in the mood to take pictures or anything. Murphy turns and enters the ring and begins to remove his jersey. Rather than tossing it to the crowd, he chucks the jersey at Sydal’s face which causes the champion to laugh as he hands his championship over to the referee who holds the championship before the match begins.

The audience looks on as Matt Sydal has ascended to the top rope, and pulled a dazed Buddy with him in his dazed state. This is a scary predicament for either man, any sudden slip and this could go horribly wrong, and with less than a minute and a half left on the clock, with a tied score? That would surely bring this to an unsatisfying end. But Matt is no stranger to the big stage, he knows that for a big pay off? You have to be willing to risk everything, and as he tempts fate, with both men's feet somehow resting on the top rope the next move has to be precise, so Matt with all of St. Louis rallying behind him...propels himself into the air, leaping off the very unstable perch he was on, and his legs begin to wrap around Buddy's head, setting up for a top rope hurricanrana with such height behind it that Buddy's liable to go splat the second he hits the canvas. But as things seem to be going according to plan, Buddy Murphy spoils it in an instant. Rather than going for a horrible spill to the mat...his hands reach forward latching around Matt's legs, and he starts to use his impressive strength, in this very dangerous position to PULL MATT BACK UP TOWARDS HIM...HAVING HIM IN THE POWERBOMB POSITION! The audience gasps, but before their grasps can even finish, Buddy leaps off the top rope, bringing a helpless Sydal with him, and the two Superstars crash into the canvas in a disastrous SUPER POWERBOMB!

[Mauro Ranallo]
MA-MA- MIIIIIIIIIIAAAA!!!!!

[Renee Young]
OH MY GOD!

An instant "HOLY SHIT!" chant echoes through the building as Matt Sydal was driven with such velocity that he literally flew nearly to the other side of the ring. While Buddy himself may not have had as bad of a landing, with 59 minutes exactly now having passed, and one minute left being on the clock? Having the back of your spine make contact with the canvas from that height? Is going to leave you with your own instant dose of agony. Fans are both amazed by what just happened, and horrified because with the clock ticking down, and barely a minute left? HOW does their own hometown hero come back from this, much less make it back to his feet in such a short span of time? The "Holy Shit" chants continue to overtake any other sound as both men lie on the mat, their will to win and leave as Intercontinental Champion, for this final minute seemingly destroying them.

[Corey Graves]
Look at the two Superstars in the ring, and then look at the timer, IT IS DOWN TO 50 SECONDS! One of these men has to score a pinfall in the next 50 seconds to be the winner. How is that even going to happen?

[Renee Young]
I am utterly stunned, and honestly I have no idea. Buddy Murphy may have turned that around at the end there, but...they've both put each other through so much in this match, how can there be anything left in the tank?

[Mauro Ranallo]
This match isn't named for the purposes of being cute, it is to determine THE IRON MAN, the man that can overcome everything and withstand anything. They've got 42 seconds to do that.

Suddenly Buddy's body begins to slowly lift itself off the mat, he's in a lot of pain that much is clear just by looking at his face...but what he saw as he rose up, was the clock being on 42 seconds. The score being TWO TO TWO. There is no time to waste, there is no moment to lick your wounds, because for him especially he challenged Matt to this match, he wants to beat him at his own game, and that isn't by being satisfied with a tie that potentially goes to sudden death. No, he said he can beat him, and he is going to. He digs his fingers into the mat, grunting loudly as he grimaces. With determination fueling him he quickly crawls over to Matt who hasn't moved an inch since making contact with the mat. Matt laid on stomach, ripe for Buddy's taking. We've seen Buddy's power on display before, but what comes next? Shows it at a new level. He bends down, on spaghetti legs, places one hand on Matt's ankle, then the other around Matt's arm, as he pulls it closer to Matt's body, and with another loud battle cry he DEADLIFTS MATT'S BROKEN BODY OFF OF THE MAT INTO THE TORTURE RACK POSITION! The audience is again both amazed and horrified for their hero as Buddy has "IRON MAN" up for Murphy's Law!

[Mauro Ranallo]
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! HOW DOES HE HAVE ENOUGH IN THE TANK TO DO THAT?!

[Corey Graves]
Determination drives you to do incredible things, like Buddy is about to do.

19 seconds are on the clock, and Buddy Murphy turns, seeing this and starts to laugh, because he knows...once he hits this? THE ILLUSION OF IRON MAN IS OVER! AND WHATS MORE? HE DID IT ALL ON HIS OWN! With a second wind of arrogance sweeping over him, he turns to spin Matt out and complete the law that will expel Matt's "Iron Man" moniker once and for all...when suddenly Matt connects with a back elbow to the side of Murphy's head, stunning him, causing his grip to slightly waiver, and that is ALL Matt needed. He rolls himself off of Buddy's shoulders, landing behind him, then uses all of his weight to exploit Buddy's suddenly unstable state and flip him down to the mat with a Sunset flip! THE CLOCK STRIKES 10 SECONDS AS MATT'S FEET KICK OFF OF THE MAT TO FLIP OVER BUDDY'S BODY AND BRIDGE OVER HIM INTO THE PIN!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!!

00:02

The audience jumps to their feet SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS IN EXCITEMENT AS MATT SYDAL, WITH TWO SECONDS TO SPARE HAS SCORED THE FINAL FALL OF THIS MATCH, AND REGAINED THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!

00:00

[Mauro Ranallo]
IF YOU BLINKED I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU JUST MISSED ONE HELL OF A COME FROM BEHIND VICTORY BY IRON MAN HIMSELF MATT SYDAL! OTHERWISE NOW KNOWN AS THE NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!!!

[Corey Graves]
I legitimately have no words...HOW?!

[Renee Young]
Matt says it quite often, and I'll echo those words right now. If you make the mistake of daring to underestimate him? He'll happily rub it in your face when he proves you wrong, just as he has at MANY points in his career, one of them being tonight.

Buddy sits up on the mat stunned at how quickly it all went away, as Matt lies face first on the mat, breathing heavily as his infectious tune serenades the crowd. Buddy frustratedly pounds the mat
before falling to his back due to the exhaustion setting in. He just had to deliver that last move, and he would have retained...but instead, Matt being ever the opportunist, found his opening, took it...and turned everything around in the final moments of this match to REGAIN his title. The referee retrieves The Intercontinental Championship from the timekeeper, then returns to Matt's side who upon approaching him The NEW Champion looks up with a smile as he sees his title presented to him. He's not able to physically stand on his own right now so with the referee extended his hand, he's soon pulled to his feet and stumbles a bit as he's handed his title. He takes it into the other hand then thrusts it into the air as the official raises his arm and the arena exudes nothing but love and happiness for St. Louis' own recapturing The Intercontinental Championship here tonight.

[Mauro Ranallo]
A lot of Superstars in XWL refer to themselves by many things, typically those are "nicknames" or character elements that they identify with. But when we refer to Matt Sydal as "IRON MAN?" That is not fancy branding, that is not a statement that is delivered loosely, that is the UNDISPUTED fact of the matter. This man can dig deep on a moment's notice, when he seemingly has nothing left to give, he finds more and utilizes the scraps of his will to do INCREDIBLE things.

[Renee Young]
Buddy Murphy and Matt Sydal left it all in that ring, and outside it for 60 minutes, and in the end? You don't come for Iron Man's throne...unless you're going to take it. Which credit to Buddy, he came close...but close is not good enough against a man of Matt's caliber.

[Corey Graves]
I just can't believe it...his reign seemed to never end, it FINALLY does...and then he just wins it back? Ugh.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Superstars make the mistake of believing that beating someone once, means you'll do it again...which for Buddy, he didn't exactly beat Matt to begin with, he had his buddies of The Undisputed Era hold Matt within the confides of a ladder as he STOLE Matt's title. Well Matt stole it right back in the final seconds of this match, and all is again right with the world.

Matt stands there victoriously raising HIS Intercontinental Championship to a tremendous ovation that only grows as it continues. He's beaten, he's exhausted, but the only thing he is that matters to him right now? IS THE NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION! He flashes a merge of a smirk and a smile as the official shows him off to St. Louis, and the entire world watching at home. As if the reaction couldn't get any better, an "IRON MAN! IRON MAN! IRON MAN!" chant picks up steam quite quickly as Buddy has rolled out of the ring to escape the shame of his defeat.

[Renee Young]
The Golden Avenger has avenged his loss at International Incident, and now stands proud once again The Intercontinental Champion.

[Mauro Ranallo]
It's not the most decisive victory by any means, but in an Iron Man Match, it's not about beating some once and that being the end goal. In an Iron Man Match you could potentially have to beat them twice, and no one falls for the same tactic twice you have to be creative.

[Renee Young]
You also have to work with what you have, Matt evaded Murphy's Law and didn't have enough time to go for The Here It Is Driver, or even think of climbing the corner for a Golden Star Press. He had to trust that he could trap Buddy in a pinning predicament for 3 seconds, and that is what he did.

[Corey Graves]
But does that prove he's even the rightful winner?

[Mauro Ranallo]
If Buddy and you could act like him climbing a ladder as Matt was held captive by Roderick Strong & Adam Cole, and pulling the title down was proving he's the "rightful winner" then how on Earth is Matt doing what he did on his OWN not doing that?

Typically this is the point where a Superstar would pull away from the official and mount a corner to celebrate, but Matt as he pulls away backs up against the ropes, then slips backward through them as he stumbles to the outside then reaches for an extended fan's hand and gets pulled up onto the barricade where with that fan's hand still helping stabilize him, he rises to his feet standing on top of the barricade. Temporarily in control of his balance he thrusts his championship into the air with both hands and shouts "THIS IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT!"

[Renee Young]
Matt's always taken great pride in being Champion, no matter the title...but his victory tonight does lead me to wonder if he'll try to continue what he was building before his reign was temporarily interrupted by Buddy Murphy?

[Corey Graves]
If you're talking about this whole "defend AFTER JUST DEFENDING ON A PAY-PER-VIEW THE NIGHT BEFORE" thing...for his sake I seriously hope he's not that stupid to even consider bringing that back. It's a new reign, I may not like it but cut your losses because look at him right now. He is not going to be one hundred percent in time for Anarchy.

[Mauro Ranallo]
That's never stopped him before. Remember, after his incredible Fatal 5 Way Falls Count Anywhere Elimination defense at Final Stand, he came out the next night issuing an Open Challenge which saw Buddy Murphy debut, and suffer defeat which kicked this entire saga between them off.

[Renee Young]
Matt believes his job as Champion is to give it his all and nothing less. He doesn't want to take a single moment for granted, because he believes his purpose as Champion is greater than himself or his own well being. He knows these matches bring excitement and unpredictability which in turn bring eyes to the title, and I greatly respect him for that.

[Corey Graves]
Well to go back to the awful baseball puns being thrown around earlier, he's gotta be careful of striking out one of these days. And let's not forget just like he had a rematch clause...so now does Buddy Murphy.

With his celebration waging on, suddenly he feels a pull on his tights and he looks down to see the fan that caught his hat when coming out earlier extending it to him with a giddy smile. He responds with a warm smile of his own and takes the hat putting it on his head with The "SLT" on full display then carefully lowers into a seated position on the barricade and once again raises The Intercontinental Championship proudly. The audience gathers around him pointing to him, cheering at him, and patting him on the back signifying he did St. Louis proud tonight. He represented them in his entrance when he rocked The St. Louis Cardinals gear, and now as he sits before them as THE NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION...rocking The SLT hat he first came out here with, it's a feel good moment for all of St. Louis and it acts as the final thing we see before the cameras fade out to an advertisement promoting the next Pay-Per-View, Coronation.

Before we head towards the next match-up or segment of the night, the cameras show a scene backstage where it's Sasha Banks and Liv Morgan speaking with one another. It looks as though the two are going back and forth with ideas but we aren't able to hear what they are saying but the two look to be rather excited about whatever this is about. The audio is turned off so that the announcement set for later on in the night isn't spoiled and the fans could focus on the commentary team is saying.

[MAURO RANALLO]
I don't know what exactly they have planned but it's been advertised that Sasha Banks and Liv Morgan have an announcement to make tonight. I'm not so sure if this is something serious of if this is something to boost their own egos. I could see either one of them from the both of them.

[COREY GRAVES]
Could you please be a little more excited about this? It's been a rocky couple of weeks for the Boss 'n' Brat duo but it looks as though they are back on the same page and are speaking with one another and being civil about it. The Woman's Division is about to get rocked if this is the case. These two women have proven to be dangerous by themselves but they might as well be unstoppable when they're on the same page. Here's what we really need to be asking: how long before Sasha Banks turns on Liv Morgan again?

[RENEE YOUNG]
I hate to say it but you might be right. I don't think I'd trust either of these women as far as I can throw them... but back to whatever this announcement is that they are going to make. I've heard some rumblings about what this could be. You know, I'm in the women's locker room sometimes and sometimes I'm in the same room as the two of them. I might've heard some words be thrown around. I heard something about eight women and a championship match but I don't want to say much else in case I'm wrong.

[MAURO RANALLO]
I think I might know what you're getting at Renee but we will just have to wait and see. It looks like it won't be long before those two are out here informing everyone of what's to come.

[COREY GRAVES]
Renee, I have to ask... did you hear anything about Mandy Rose's name involved?

[RENEE YOUNG]
What? No! I didn't hear her name mentioned.

[COREY GRAVES]
Good. I want her name kept out of their mouths.

[MAURO RANALLO]
Speaking of what's to come, along with that announcement, we have two championship matches in the Woman's Division. Alexa Bliss is going to be pulling double duty. We have an action packed night ahead of ourselves in the woman's division and I for one can't wait.

The show would then move to whatever segment or match is next.

As the cameras go live from the backstage area, we see the usual interview backdrop, and none other than Charly Caruso standing by...but she's not alone, as interviews rarely are. No, to her left is The Women's Champion Kairi Sane who will be defending her title inside The Elimination Chamber tonight...and beside The Pirate Princess is her best friend Alexa Bliss, decked out in a gold and black attire, complete with a gold headband atop her head. No doubt a petty dig at Mandy Rose who she'll compete against later tonight after The Elimination Chamber has come and gone. Meanwhile Kairi is wearing the very gear that won her the title at International Incident perhaps hoping to bring the luck of that night with her into this very difficult challenge ahead of her this evening.

[Charly Caruso]
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time the woman who will compete for not only the Women's Championship here tonight, but also the North American Championship, Alexa Bliss and the woman who looks to defend her Championship inside the Elimination Chamber and follow in the footsteps of Natalya before her, the current Women's Champion, Kairi Sane. As we learned exclusively on XWL.com in the days leading up to this Pay-Per-View, an off camera assault courtesy of one of the women competing inside the Elimination Chamber would target the current Women's Champion in Kairi Sane. The woman in question was none other than Kaitlyn, who recently made her return at the expense of the very same woman she attacked. Lightning would not strike twice, however, as her assault was thwarted by one of Kairi's closest friends in Alexa Bliss, which would lead to Kaitlyn sustaining an undisclosed injury in the process. Can you talk us through that moment?

Kairi Sane
After suffering a second consecutive loss, the first being to Asuka in the Six Women Tag Match to determine the order we would enter the Elimination Chamber, then the second being to the former Champion in Tessa Blanchard in the Triple Threat Match, it was a bad couple weeks as Women's Champion but I knew I would have my chance at redemption inside the Elimination Chamber. After I pinned her in the Six Women Tag Match I mentioned a second ago, it's clear that she wasn't happy with that outcome and decided to attack me a second time just days before my first defense. Her intentions were more than clear, she wanted me as far away from this Championship, from the Chamber, she wanted her biggest threat removed from the match. Unfortunately for her, lightning struck twice, just not in the way she wanted. Just like she failed when she attacked Natalya once upon a time, she failed once again. Maybe she would have succeeded if Alexa wasn't there, maybe she would have failed like she's done in the past, but all I know is that if it wasn't for my best friend coming to help me in my time of need, I might not be standing here, ready to defend my treasure.

Kairi looks to Alexa with a sincere smile who returns with her own smile as she starts to speak.

Alexa Bliss
I would never let anything happen to you, Kairi. I know we've both had our own problems to deal with this past month, but when push comes to shove I'll always be there for you because that is what you've done for me. You've sacrificed, you've prioritized, and honestly I...wouldn't be here if not for you. When all of that went down at the end of last year? You saved me, and I am forever indebted to you for that. So anytime I can show a fraction of the courage and compassion you showed me? I will be there and you will know that you can count on me just as I have been able to count on you.

[Charly Caruso]
Upon this news reaching Mr. McMahon, he would make the decision to replace Kaitlyn in the much anticipated Women's Elimination Chamber match with the woman who would make her main roster debut after an impressive showing at International Incident, Io Shirai. Does this help or hurt your chances inside the Elimination Chamber considering this isn't the original six women that were announced to be in this match and has your game plan heading into his match changed at all following the announcement?

Kairi Sane
Io Shirai is one of greatest wrestlers to ever step into the ring, male or female, and her addition to the match alone forces everybody in this match to adapt to what she brings to the table or get eliminated because of it. She is a master of aerial offense, her strikes are second to none, her speed and her ability to attack you from any angle is unmatched. I've had the pleasure of facing her in that ring before but we've never had a match against one another in this company. I look forward to what she brings tonight. Before Io and Alexa were added to the match, I had beaten just about every other woman in that match. I eliminated Kaitlyn and Allie in the Six Women Tag Match, I pinned Tessa at International Incident to become Women's Champion, I pinned Becky before that in our Beat The Clock match, do you notice there's someone missing? Asuka.

The name definitely unnerves Alexa who surely can't be too thrilled about being locked inside of a Chamber with the woman who unfortunately has had a change in character herself since their last meeting.

Kairi Sane
Up until last week, she was the only woman to pin me, and not only that, she did it twice. With the addition of Alexa Bliss and Io Shirai, Alexa is the only other woman in that match to hold a pinfall victory over me. With that, you might think that Asuka is the biggest threat to me in that match and you couldn't be further from the truth. I've experienced firsthand what Asuka is capable of when she has the Women's Championship in her sights, I've seen what Becky Lynch is willing to do to become Champion, I've been in the ring when Tessa Blanchard is incapable of accepting defeat, I've stood alongside Alexa when she's had to put her body on the line to rid herself of she who shall not be named and I've known Io Shirai longer than anybody so trust me when I say that she won't let this opportunity slip through her fingers. As you can see, no single woman is my biggest threat, they all are.

[Charly Caruso]
Speaking of those threats, one of them...is standing right beside you. Your best friend, Alexa Bliss was added to this match last week on Anarchy, and now your friendship faces perhaps its most difficult challenge yet. You both want the same thing, doesn't it worry you that your friendship might be impaired by a Championship as many, many, MANY friendships in the past have been?

Alexa defiantly shakes her head within a second of Charly even insinuating such a thing would turn out like that with regards to their friendship.

Alexa Bliss
If we were talking about myself and Nia? Absolutely, we saw how in my darkest hour of need...she wasn't there for me. So absolutely she wouldn't have thought twice about destroying our friendship in the name of becoming Women's Champion. Because she barely thought twice about siding with she who shall never be named from my lips. But Kairi is different, and in that...she's made me different. I could never forsake our friendship for anything after the loyalty and sacrifice she has made for me. There is no betrayal in the air, that much I can promise you.

[Charly Caruso]
Do you feel the same way, Kairi? Your situation as we've said is quite different because really you're facing off against Io a long time friend of yours, someone you introduced to XWL at International Incident last month...then there's Tessa Blanchard who you've developed quite the mutual admiration for...and of course your best friend Alexa Bliss. Do you believe those bonds are not in jeopardy tonight seeing as they're all ultimately vying for what you are currently in possession of?

Kairi Sane
I'll start with Tessa. At International Incident, we faced each other in what might be one of the greatest women's matches this company or any other has ever seen. I was able to do what many thought was impossible and pin her in that ring to become Women's Champion. After the match, she had the opportunity to show me what I believed were her true colors, she could have attacked me in a fit of rage, she could have thrown a tantrum, she could have called it a fluke but you know what she did? She took the Women's Championship she just lost and wrapped it around my waist then shook my hand. When your first interaction with someone is getting put through the announcer's table by them then they claim to have turned over a new leaf, my skepticism was justified but she proved me wrong that night and since then, we've had a mutual respect for one another. And while we wish no ill will towards each other, when it comes to this Women's Championship, that's where our competitive nature shines. I understand that she wants to regain this Championship, more than anybody else, and I know she'll preferably like to pin me for it, but she knows that it'll be easier said than done to take this from me. But in the event that she does pin me, I'll know that on this night she was the better woman just like I was at International Incident.

Kairi Sane
When it comes to Io Shirai, we have a storied history. We've traveled the world together and fought one another for various Championships and accolades along the way. She knows as well as I do that when the bell rings, our friendship is put on hold for the time being and tonight will be no different. She, just like every other woman in this match, wants to become Women's Champion and who am I to blame her? I was in the same position she was in and now I stand here as Champion. We've fought many times before and we'll fight many times again but regardless of the outcome, when the match ends, we'll still be friends just like every single time before. And finally, Alexa Bliss. We've been through a lot together, haven't we? From making my debut at your expense to our Trading Places Match to me saving you from she who shall not be named to being victorious in the Last Team Standing Match at Final Stand to me becoming Women's Champion and you winning the North American Championship later tonight. It's quite the story we've had. Despite our rocky start, not once have I ever thought about turning my back on you. We've been there for each other since nearly the beginning, even if you didn't think you needed my help and tonight, we stand as opponents. Our bond isn't built on using the other to get to the top, it isn't based around Championship goals or using a numbers advantage to gain an edge, it's about being there for the other, even if we aren't needed. I've been there for her and she's been there for me and when the Elimination Chamber comes to an end, our friendship won't.

[Charly Caruso]
Now Alexa, of course you have an opportunity at Kairi's Women's Championship coming up inside The Elimination Chamber...but your night won't end there. You after well over a month of campaigning for a North American title opportunity were finally presented a proposal in which that would be approved. You would have to agree to compete twice tonight, by filling in for an injured Allie, starting off The Elimination Chamber...and then regardless of the result your ultimate reward would be the title match you've sought after later on in the evening. How do you prepare for a night like tonight?

Alexa Bliss
To be quite honest with you? I don't think you really can. This wasn't what I envisioned when I began pursuing The North American Championship...I mean of course as the weeks passed, I knew it wouldn't come easily, and there would end up being another hurdle I'd have to get over before I could get that match...but it's a difficult position to be in. Because obviously all of our goals in our careers is to be Champion, whether that's North American...or Women's Champion. So this is a tremendous opportunity for me, and opportunity is something I've never really been afforded through my career here for the past what, 4 years? But to know that me winning The Elimination Chamber tonight, means Kairi loses? That's difficult as her best friend to be fully okay with. But what's great about our relationship is that we have each other's support. We know that regardless of how this match goes, the other will be right there to congratulate whoever leaves as Champion.

Alexa's sights shift to The Women's Championship currently held by Kairi Sane.

Alexa Bliss
What's also difficult about tonight is that, after no doubt a grueling match where I either win or lose, I have to get ready to go back out there and compete a second time with every bump and bruise I surely will acquire in my first match. I've never been Champion in XWL, and to have the opportunity, even if it's an obvious attempt to ensure I fail against Mandy...but to have the opportunity to potentially not just win my first title tonight, but to win my first AND second? That is the thing that dreams are made of. It's not going to be an easy night, but ultimately this is what I've been fighting for. I am ready for this, I am aware of the risks involved, but I refuse to let this pass me by because who honestly knows when my next opportunity will be?

[Charly Caruso]
Kairi, you've been dealing with the perils that come with being Women's Champion for the past month but I wonder what are your thoughts on what Alexa herself has been dealing with when it comes to her quest to face The North American Champion Mandy Rose? She's been very outspoken of how she believes that Mandy is receiving preferential treatment, as well as other things...and some would say this was a calculated decision to throw your best friend into your title defense to drive a rift between you, and hinder her chances of walking out as North American Champion later on. I was just curious what you think is really going on?

Kairi Sane
It's really quite obvious what Mandy Rose's intentions are, they're almost as shallow as she is. She thinks she can cause us to turn on each other just become, or in my case, retain the Women's Championship. She thinks the allure of being a Champion or keeping the Championship is enough to sway us to do the unthinkable. She's wrong and she'll learn that firsthand when she loses the North American Championship later tonight. As for it being a “calculated” decision, there's nothing calculated about it. That's implying Mandy took the time to come up with this plan instead of taking pictures of herself on a beach. What was the old saying? Two Championships, one Bliss? I don't know about you, Charly, but I think it's possible for Alexa to be a dual Champion by the end of the night and the first woman to hold both Championships simultaneously. And if that happens, I can't wait to see the look on Mandy's face when she realizes that this was her doing.

Alexa Bliss
It's like I told Mandy on her adorable attempt at replacing me as a host on A Moment Of Bliss...I look forward to sitting on that stage as her guest again, with either one, or two titles over my shoulders as she has to accept the fact that she made all of this possible, such a giving goddess isn't she?

[Charly Caruso]
For my final question there is one Woman inside tonight's Elimination Chamber who, despite your previous answer regarding "threats" tonight Kairi...could perhaps be the biggest of them all, Asuka. Now you both have history with her, Alexa yours is obviously far more complicated and disastrous...while you Kairi, have been defeated by her twice now. She single-handedly eliminated every single person on your team in The Six Woman Tag to earn her the 6th entry tonight. Alexa let's start with you, this will be the first interaction match wise that you two have had since she returned from being defeated by you in a very controversial Submission Match where the loser had to kiss the other's boot, and then get the boot from XWL. Since returning she is far more ruthless, while you...have become the opposite, changing your ways and becoming a better person. But as they say, your sins have a way of coming back to haunt you, and tonight Asuka looks to reign terror on The Women's Elimination Chamber, especially on you Alexa.

I mean sure, we're all thinking it...but way to remind Alexa that she's being locked inside Satan's Structure with a vengeful Asuka.

Alexa Bliss
Look I won't try to justify my actions back then, but towards the end Asuka had long since gone off the deep end. What I did? Was not great, yes...but compared to things I've had to endure since? That isn't worth having this lifelong grudge over. If she wants to target me tonight, let her. Because what was apparent before, is still true. I'm not afraid of Asuka. Yes, she's vicious, yes, she is a force like no other...but I stood up to her and held my own once, and I can do it again. I'm not the same Woman I was last year, but that goes both ways. She is possessed by this need for revenge. And that obsession could very well cost her the title tonight. I've said my peace about our history, I am sorry that it got so out of hand...but I'm not going to spend every single night apologizing for the same thing. Either you accept it the first couple of times, or clearly you have no interest in it. And that is completely fine, she doesn't have to forgive me...I will never forgive you know who for what she put me through. So if what our issues were somehow equal the issues I faced earlier this year? More power to Asuka to seek revenge. She is going to be entering this match last, after defeating a lot of Women on her way to the chamber tonight. She's a threat, perhaps as you say the most terrifying out of everyone...but I was ready for Asuka last year, and this year? Let's hope she's actually "ready" for ME.

[Charly Caruso]
Very bold words, Alexa. How about you, Kairi? She's pinned you twice now, and tonight the third time could be the charm that crowns her Women's Champion. What is your strategy for dealing with destruction in living incarnation? Can you actually defeat her? Or do you hope that someone else can so you don't have that threat looming over you for the duration of this match?

Kairi Sane
I won't deny it, she has pinned me twice, I've accepted that and in that defeat I've learned what she's capable of. But where she sees strength in those victories, where she sees momentum, where she sees a predetermined end, I see the ability to learn from my mistakes, to see where everything went wrong, I see weakness, complacency. Asuka thinks she can pin me again because she's done it twice before and maybe she could, maybe she will, but you better believe I'm going to make her work for it.

The two best friends turn to each other with a confident look on their faces, then bid farewell to Charly heading off to prepare for their Elimination Chamber Match as Downpour continues.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Empty

As Downpour returns from a promo hyping up the Women’s Elimination Chamber, the camera shows a shot of one person’s name. Vince Mcmahon. The Chairman of XWL and the general manager of XWL. As the camera zooms out, we see that it’s the door of Mr. Mcmahon’s office that the door is placed on, while we see Charly Caruso once again, standing next to the door. She looks confused, as if she has been summoned here unexpectedly. Eventually, the door opens wide, and the man who walks out is one of the competitors who came up short in the Elimination Chamber match earlier in the show, Aiden English. He immediately turns to Charly, who begins to speak.

[Charly Caruso]
Aiden, you just messaged me and asked to come to Vince Mcmahon’s office for a “special announcement”. Well, what is that announcement?

Aiden looks down for a second as if he’s pondering something, before turning to face Charly and answer her question.

{Aiden English}
I have just finished a meeting with Mr. Mcmahon in which I requested a termination of my XWL contract effective after tomorrow night. And Charly, that request was granted. Tomorrow night on Anarchy I will make my final XWL appearance, in which I will compete in my final match and give a speech explaining why I’m leaving. Thanks for coming here so the fans can know.

[Charly Caruso]
Wait, Aiden-?

But before Charly can continue talking, Aiden has already walked away, likely still feeling the effects of the grueling Elimination Chamber match he had to compete in. The last thing we see as Downpour continues is Charly’s face, as the shock of what Aiden said begins to set in, and the XWL Universe is also audibly unable to process what he said.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 V6ggzq10

As the match comes near the end and both superstars have given their all there is controversy in the cage. As Ziggler goes to get up Kyle goes to hit him with Dolph Zigglers patented Super kick but just before it connects, Ziggler pulls the referee in front of him who gets clocked by the boot of Kyle instead. Whilst the referee is knocked out on the canvas, Kyle proceeds to attack Ziggler and hits him with a chair that Ziggler brought into the cage with him, he then escapes the cage through the door much to the joy of all the fans. As he is celebrating his win outside the ring, Ziggler starts to come around and gets to his feet. He sees that he has lost the match and looks around the arena with nothing but anger on his face. He then stares into a camera with a smile on his face and proceeds to get out of the cage, and sneak attacks Kyle, before hitting him with another chair and then puts him through the announce table. Ziggler quickly drags Kyle to the cage door and lifts him into the ring and drags him into the far corner opposite the door. He rubs his hands together in a 'job done' manner and walks over to the door and hips out of the ring. At this moment, the referee comes around and sees that Ziggler is standing outside of the cage and calls for the bell and declares Dolph Ziggler to be the winner. Ziggler grabs his TV Title and celebrates his way up the ramp whilst the crowd are booing like crazy. He walks up to a camera and screams "it's all about thinking baby!" before he laughs down the camera and walks out of the arena as his music is still playing!

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Walter10

Corey Graves
There it is, the AA!! This one is the one to put WALTER away!

Mauro Ranallo
After countless attempts of trying to put The Ring General away, John Cena successfully executing an AA which is seemingly going to do the trick.

The referee goes to the mat for the three count.

1..

2..

WALTER KICKS OUT AGAIN!!

Renee Young
What is it gonna take to put this man down?

Corey Graves
Time, time is of the essence here. John Cena is going to have to continue at this pace to be able to take WALTER out of the equation. But I don’t think John Cena has it in him.

WALTER rolls out of the ring after kicking out of a second AA regaining his balance on the outside. John Cena absolutely gassed rolls out of the ring continuing to brawl with WALTER.

The referee begins counting as both men are out of the ring.

1..

2....

John Cena kicks WALTER in the gut and lifts him up onto his shoulders and slams WALTER down with a thunderous AA. The sound of the crowd along with the table breaking, microphone feeds cutting out, the crowd ecstatic at the physical contest.

John Cena rolls into the ring as the ref continues to count

3.....

4......

5......

6.......

WALTER beings to stir despite taking a third AA, this one through the announce table despite the effort of John Cena

7........

WALTER is now to his knees slowly wobbling regaining his balance. John Cena is dumbfounded in pure disbelief that he has not been able to fully put WALTER away.

8......

Walter is on his feet but not all the way stood up but he is up enough for John Cena as he exits the ring once more to AA WALTER one last time to fully finish him off. The ref restarts his count.

1..

2....

3.....

Cena goes to kick WALTER to set up for one last AA but WALTER hits Cena with a clubbing blow bringing him down to one knee.

4.....

5......

Walter put’s Cena’s head in between his legs powering through lifting him up in the position for his thunderous powerbomb.

6.......

7........

WALTER continues to power through walking with Cena over to the next announce table.

WALTER pummels Cena through the next announce table leaving him lay lifeless as the ref continues counting.

8.......

WALTER walks around the other side of John Cena and poses up in the very familiar military like stance as the ref count continues.

9......

10..........

The referee calls for the bell as the ruling of double count out as the crowd stirs at the carnage from the match that ended in true unexpected fashion.

The feed cuts to the next segment as the crews clean up and repair in preparation for what’s to come.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Yigfrd10

As we come back from a commercial break, the freshly reunited pairing of Sasha Banks and Liv Morgan are standing in the ring and are surveying the fairly mixed, but mostly negative crowd. Liv can't help but crack a smile as she trots around all 4 sides of the ring with her hands clasped behind her back with a live microphone between them. In the center of the ring is a white, column-like pedestal with a mysterious shape on top. The shape is mysterious due to the fact that it is covered by a deep, Anarchy red, velvet cover concealing whatever it is that is placed underneath and will no doubt be unveiled at some point in this scheduled announcement. Once the crowd finally dies down slightly, Liv whips her mic around and raises it up to her lips, maintaining that same twisted smile.

[LIV Morgan]
Did'ja miss us?

The crowd erupts again in a wave of boos, which only makes the quirky pink-haired superstar cackle like a middle schooler.

[LIV Morgan]
I know you guys must have a load of questions and concerns about the Boss 'n' Brat reunion. Sash and I have had lots of ups and downs in our relationship, but y'know what else has lots of ups and downs...? Rollercoasters! And who DOESN'T love rollercoasters, am I right?.... When Sasha betrayed me, it really did cut me deep, and when I betrayed Sasha back, I'm sure it hurt her just as bad. But you really never notice what you've got until it's gone, and after I lost you Boss, I realized how much of a- wait, what's that word?... Starts with a V, ends with a- OH, void! That's it, void. Now, what was I saying again?... Right, when Sasha and I split up I really had to learn to live with the void that I was left with, because the truth is, nobody gets me like you do, Sash.

Liv places her hand on Sasha's shoulder as she turns and faces her newly reunited partner.

[LIV Morgan]
When everybody in the entire women's locker room turned their backs on me last month at International Incident, YOU were the one who came to my rescue, even if we weren't on the best of terms. So y'know what? I really don't even a TEENSY bit bad for all of the chaos that is about to rain down onto the women's locker room now that the Boss 'n' Brat are back together and better than ever. After months of being at each other's throats and not being on the same page, you were there for me when I needed you and we walked out of International Incident victorious. BUT, we'll have plenty of time to catch up on all of that later because tonight, Sasha and I have a little announcement to share with all of you, and with all of the women in the back who turned their backs on us. Isn't that right, Boss?

The Delinquent lowers her mic and cartoonishly leans closer to the Boss on one foot, popping her opposite out behind her as she bats her doll-like eyelashes repeatedly, making sure to show of the custom Air Jordan's that Sasha had previously gifted her in a segment on Anarchy just a couple of weeks prior.

[SASHA BANKS]
Look. I know I've done some nasty things but all I want is a friend. I had a friend a while but I decided to throw all of it away because I was obsessed with becoming the XWL Woman's Champion. I was obsessed with being the best. I've learned that obsession can drive you to do the craziest things like turn on your best friends, put them through hell, and even join a boy band that couldn't hang because none of them wanted to keep up with me.

She pauses for a moment and then she holds up her hand and has her ring and middle pressed against her thumb. A 'too sweet' being held up in the air as she flashes a smile at the camera.

[SASHA BANKS]
And now, I have a friend. This woman right here is my friend. It's genuine and I know that no one in this building has any reason to believe that but lemme tell you right now, I'm not about to pull a fast one on her... but if I was then lemme just say I would make sure there are no sledgehammers nearby because I've learned that they hurt and they hurt even more when your best friend is the one using them against you. I'm trying to make things right and I'm trying to be the person I know I am deep down and Liv is giving me that chance. We're having some ups and some downs but girl, I'm not giving up on you. That's why I asked that we make this announcement together. Not me. Not you. But us. Doing this together. Side-by-side. Like real friends would. Ain't that right?

[LIV Morgan]
Couldn't have said it better myself, Boss!

Liv wraps her arms around Sasha's midsection from the side and rests her cheek on the shoulder of the Boss with a gleeful grin that is reminiscent of a child.

[SASHA BANKS]
What happens though when it's you and me against each other with everything on the line?

The Boss' expression changes slightly. Her tone has grown more serious and the smile on her face is gone. Her brown eyes stare bullets at the pink-haired female... until Sasha shakes her head and starts laughing.

[SASHA BANKS]
I'm just playing with you, girl. We'll get there when we get there. Liv, hit 'em with it.

Liv takes a step back and straightens up, clearing her throat dramatically.

[LIV Morgan]
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, we are gathered here today to bear witness to a monumental announcement. Sasha and I got word from a little birdie straight outta Mr. McMahon's office. That birdie told us all about this year's Queen of the Ring tournament, and it's contestants, who will compete in a series of matches over the next several weeks. The two finalists in this tournament will compete for the title of Queen of the Ring 2019 at XWL's next Pay-Per-View event, conveniently named Coronation. BUT WE'VE HEARD ALL THAT BEFORE, haven't we Sash?

The Delinquent begins to prance around the ring eagerly, taking her spot behind the covered pedestal while she licks her pearly white teeth.

[SASHA BANKS]
Don't keep them waiting any longer. Show 'em what you got.

Liv bites down onto her tongue diligently as she grips onto the edge of the velvet cover and rips it away right on Sasha's cue, revealing a beautifully etched crown that is freckled in diamonds and fine jewels. It's truly an exquisite sight, which is made obvious by the way that Liv's eyes brighten up like a cat burglar with sticky fingers.

[SASHA BANKS]
Let's run through what this tournament is and how it works. Eight women in this division will enter a single elimination tournament with the finals happening at Coronation. There are two sides to this which we have conveniently named the Boss side and the Brat side. Now, I bet you're wondering what the winner gets if they win this? Well, obviously, they get this crown... but what does this crown mean? This crown means a championship match anywhere they want at just about anytime they want. The power is in your hands... or should I say on your head. It's sort of like Money in the Bank but you have to give your opponent at least a week's notice. That shouldn't be much of an issue. If you're truly the best then you don't need to beat someone when they've already been beaten down. That's just my two cents. I'm gonna pass things back to Liv so she can run down her side of the tournament.

[LIV Morgan]
Kicking off MY half of the tournament, the Brat bracket, we will see one of the all-time great (grandmas) of professional wrestling, Mickie James, versus...!

The duo of Banks and Morgan both begin to “drumroll” on their thighs with all four of their hands until Liv finally springs up into place, presenting herself with her arms out wide and a smile that’s even wider.

[LIV Morgan]
ME!

Childish laughter escapes from Liv’s lips and is semi-magnified by her lowered microphone while she clears her throat and gets back into position to announce the next half of her end of the tournament.

[LIV Morgan]
The next match on the fun side of the tournament will be Ember Moon, versus—

Liv hesitates, furrowing her brows while she places her microphone between he upper arm and rib cage to hold it in place and makes a pair of binoculars out of her hands, squinting aggressively towards the titantron.

[LIV Morgan]
Ronald-, Rhoda-, Rwanda-, RRRRooooooonnnnd—

Liv’s suddenly lowers her “binoculars” to reveal a bewildered and shocked expression, with her baby doll eyes as wide as a couple of pizza pies. The Juvenile Delinquent suddenly shakes it off, blinking a few times before checking again.

[LIV Morgan]
Wait a minute, this has to be a misprint...! Ronda Rousey?... Boss, are they serious right now? Don’t they know that the last time “Lousy” Ronda Rousey stepped into a ring with the Boss ‘n’ Brat, she found herself sky diving off the stage without a parachute?

Liv tilts her head to the side curiously, scrunching up her face while placing one of her hands on her hip. The Boss is acting like she's gagging at the thought of Ronda Rousey being back.

[SASHA BANKS]
I wonder how long it's going to take her to quit this time. I wonder if she's even going to show up for her match. I guess there's some benefits with being a failed UFC fighter. The company hands chances to you on a silver platter while us hard working women are out here week in and week out. Now, up next, we have ourselves a REAL Mixed Martial Arts fighter. Not someone who tucked their tail between their legs when they lost but a true fighter. We have newcomer Sonya Deville going one-on-one with...

The Boss waits for the graphic to change before saying the next name.

[SASHA BANKS]
PEYTON ROYCE!

Sasha pauses and she smiles as the next graphic emerges on the screen. It's a picture of the Boss herself.

[SASHA BANKS]
And to save the best for last, we have me...

The anticipation is building as she waits to see who she's going to be facing.

[SASHA BANKS]
...going up against...

And then, once the picture changes, the smile changes into a look of disgust. The camera doesn't show it at first as they are focusing on the Boss and her friend but when the camera man moves himself and navigates around the ring, he looks at the titantron from over the Boss' shoulder.

[SASHA BANKS]
...Nikki Bella? Well, I taught that Bella a lesson once. Don't mind doing it aga-

As Sasha is mid-sentence, she is interrupted by the music of the aforementioned Nikki Bella

Renee Young
Oh, now what?

Corey Graves
Doesn't Nikki understand that The Boss was talking? Now we'll never know what she was going to say!

As her music plays Nikki walks out onto the stage to a chorus of cheers from the female parts of the crowd with a mixture of boos and cheers from the rest. As Nikki stands on the top of the stage, with a microphone in her hand she waits for her music to fade out so she can begin to speak

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 SpDmY2D

Nikki Bella
I'm so sorry Sasha, I didn't mean to cut you off, but well. I think pretty much everybody has had enough of listening to you two, and whatever this whole thing is. But it's so cute that you guys managed to convince Mr McMahon to allow you to announce the Queen of the King, but unfortunately for you two, that's about as far as it goes for you, because once Coronation comes and goes you'll still be a brat, and you, you'll still be able to call yourself The Boss, but only one will be able to call themselves the Queen, and that woman is me.

As Nikki finishes that last sentence the camera quickly cuts to Liv and Sasha in the ring clearly disagreeing with Nikki's prediction for the Queen of the Ring tournament

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 R7fks7W

Nikki Bella
But before all of that starts next week, there's something we need to talk about, because forgive me if I'm wrong but just before I came out here, Sasha, you said you've already taught me a lesson once and.... I can't quite remember, but was that the lesson where you jumped me backstage then ran away? Because if that's the lesson you taught me, I'm not really sure what I was meant to learn. What was it you said again? Keep Liv's name out of my mouth? That was it wasn't it? Or what? What are you going to do about it, Sasha? Are you going to attack me from behind again? Or are you two just going to keep talking and bore myself AND everybody else to sleep?

As Nikki continues to mock the Brat 'n' Boss Connection the camera cuts back to them in the ring, who are clearly not impressed with what Nikki has to say for herself

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Q6rZ8Q6

Nikki Bella
And personally, Sasha I can't wait to beat you in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament, just to have the chance to shut you two up once and for all... actually  if you're wondering what to expect when you step into the ring with me, just ask your little friend Liv there, what it's like stepping into the ring with me. Actually just in case neither of you remember, I've brought a little clip of what happened, so if you'll please bring your attention to the titantron, play the clip.

When Nikki gestures towards the titantron, a clip from Nikki Bella vs Liv Morgan a few weeks ago of Nikki hitting Liv Morgan with the Rackattack

When the clip finishes the camera switches back to Nikki who is still stood at the top of the ramp and quickly highlighting Liv Morgan clearly not happy with the reminder of what happened they they met

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 GFM4tJS

Nikki Bella
Oh look at that, what a Rackattack, that looks like it hurt, I'll tell you what, I'm sure glad that didn't happen to me.

The camera cuts to Sasha and Liv Morgan who are irate at Nikki's disrespect for the duo in the ring

Nikki Bella
I'm sorry, I have another clip, let's take a look.

Yet again Nikki gestures to the titantron to play another clip this time of the immediate ending of their match as Nikki counts along with the referee's count

Nikki Bella
ONE

TWO

THREE!

There it is, your winner Nikki Bella!

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 R1vOnSN

Nikki Bella
And not only is that exactly what's going to happen when I get my hands on you Sasha, but if, and I really hope you do Liv, if you make it all the way to the final at Coronation, that's exactly what's going to happen again. But that's not going to start until next week, and I just happen to have nothing to do tonight.

Nikki pauses briefly, and then starts to slowly begin to make her way to the ring as she rips for t-shirt off

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 FLgMyu6

Nikki Bella
So why don't we see just how tough you two are when you don't jump me from behind...

Before Nikki can get any closer, Liv holds her hand up to signal for Nikki to stop as the Boss 'n' Brat both back up a few steps and the Problem Child takes control of her mic.

[LIV Morgan]
WOAH, WOAH, WOAH! Back it up, alright? Not so fast! What're you all worked up about anyway, Nikki? Huh? You really out here trynna step to the Boss 'n' Brat like that just because you took advantage of me when I was emotionally traumatized after the return of my best friend? Are you "Divas" always this serious? SHEESH! Before you start ripping any more of your clothes off, haven't you realized that you're a little bit outnumbered here? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Sasha doesn't have a problem with beating you down just like we did to Ronda Rousey and Natalya, and I know I for one don't have a problem with it, but is that really what you want all of these little girls in their "Fearless" shirts and hats to see? One half of their favorite tag team get beat down all the way back to reality television by the BEST tag team this division has to offer. So I mean, maybe I'm overlooking somebody but, I don't see your partner...?

Morgan places her hand up over her brow, squinting her eyes and scanning all around Nikki Bella dramatically.

[LIV Morgan]
It's no secret that your sister doesn't have what it takes to step in this ring anymore. That would probably put you at more of a handicap than you already are, so... Here's an idea! Why don't you just back it up before you do something you're gonna regret, and go wait in the back like a good little Bella until Sasha's ready to beat you down AGAIN in the Queen of the Ring tournament next week?

Liv begins to laugh hysterically at her own words as she leans against Sasha, placing her arm on the Boss's shoulder while the two smile patronizingly down towards Nikki who remains stopped on the ramp.

Peyton and Billie Kay make their way out onto the stage with microphones in their hands

{Peyton Royce}
Well Well Well what do we have here, ladies. Oh we have the model of perfect friendship Sasha Banks and Liv Morgan.

{Peyton and Billie}
YUCK

{Peyton Royce}
Sasha what you need to understand is that I do not respect you talking about how strong your “friendship” is, because what you and Liv have is not what Billie and I have, and nobody will ever compare to my wifey. You guys are out here running your mouth as if you are the greatest two in-ring women competitors that have ever graced the XWL ring. Unfortunately my wifey Billie is not cleared to compete yet, otherwise it would be her and I tonight to prove you two wrong…

Peyton eyes up Nikki from head to toe and rolls her eyes.

{Peyton Royce}
So Nikki… I guess if you really NEED a partner for tonight, I, Peyton Royce, will show you what it is like to be a part of the greatest women’s tag team, even if it is just for a night.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 Yb0ai110

Mauro Ranallo
And it's now time for the Women's Chamber! This has had bad intentions all over it

Corey Graves
Feuds and bad blood have been the story of this build up and I for once can't wait to see it all settled in the ring tonight

Renee Young
And the last to enter the chamber because she was the last one standing in the epic tag team match between the six women!...

The crowd jeers as Asuka's theme hits but the confident strut that Asuka comes out with shows that she couldn't care less

Renee Young
You don't have to like Asuka but you have to respect her. In that tag team match her team was at a disadvantage a lot of that match. And she didn't just come out on top by pinning one woman or two woman. She pinned all of them

Corey Graves
Asuka has pinned both Kairi and Tessa twice in a row and now her rival Becky Lynch. The momentum has been in her hands during this road to the chamber

Mauro Ranallo
The chamber is unpredictable as it is dangerous though. Who knows what will happen to Asuka during this match

Asuka slowly approaches the steps before taking off her mask. She steps to what could be considered her greatest failure as the last time she stepped into it she was the first eliminated. But this year will be different. She's chnaged. Gotten faster, stronger, more dangerous! Asuka nods to herself and boldly climbs the steps, stepping into satan's workshop. Asuka is guided to her pod where her eyes bore straight into the camera. She licks her lips slowly before the sound of someone's entrance music tears her eyes to her future prey

Cheers emanate for the defending Women's Champion in Kairi Sane as her theme begins to play throughout the arena, the positive energy being released by the live audience in attendance being enough to cause her to walk out from behind the curtain and out onto the stage, the Women's Championship wrapped snugly around her waist, slightly hidden by the trademark coat concealing both herself and her ring attire. The Pirate Princess takes a hold of the bottom left side of the aforementioned coat and brings it up to her face, the only visible feature being her eyes as the remainder is hidden by her signature pirate hat. After this impromptu game of hide and seek, she releases her grip on the coat, swinging it downward and turning her head away, keeping the game going for just a few more moments before she slowly turns her head back, a smile etched on her face despite her impending defense inside the Elimination Chamber.

Kairi reaches into her coat with her right hand, fumbling for something within for a brief second, pulling something out in her hand. The object is revealed when she extends it to its full length: A miniature telescope. She brings it to her eye and leans forward, getting a better view of not only the Chamber itself but the only other participant within it in the final entrant, Asuka. One quick nod later and she retracts the telescope to its former glory, returning it to its former compartment within the coat before the Women's Champion begins making her way down the entrance ramp. Kairi slaps the hands of the XWL Universe on either side of her as she begins to rapidly approach the bottom of the ramp and the awaiting ring steps to enter the Chamber itself.

Upon reaching the bottom of the ramp, she stops in her tracks and shifts her focus to the ominous structure known simply as the Elimination Chamber. This will be her first time entering the contraption of steel as well as her first defense as Women's Champion. Quite the test stands before her, much like the test that stood before Natalya at last year's event. We've already seen the World Heavyweight Championship defended inside this very structure earlier in the evening, could Kairi be the second Champion to do so on this night? With that question remaining persistent in the back of her mind, she removes her coat and folds it up, handing it to the referee standing near the ring steps before doing the same to her pirate hat and placing it atop her folded coat.

Kairi brings her arm around her back and begins undoing the Women's Championship wrapped around her waist, tucking the straps behind the main plate and handing it over to the referee. She reluctantly releases her grip on her most prized treasure, keeping her eyes on it for a few moments before shifting them towards the Elimination Chamber. Kairi takes a deep breath and begins to scale the ring steps, breaking the threshold when she steps into the confines of the Chamber, looking at a smirking Asuka who seemingly can't wait to get this match started. She walks into the closest open pod and waits for the referee to close it, not taking her eyes off the only other woman currently inside the ominous structure.

The Genius Of The Sky Io Shirai steps through the curtain and into the view of the XWL Universe who is extremely excited to see the Japanese sensation enter her first ever Elimination Chamber match with a chance of walking out of said structure as the new Women's Champion. Nothing to lose, all to gain for Io here tonight as she makes her way down the shortened ramp that leads to the chamber door, she takes off her mask and her jacket before entering the chamber and sizing up the two other Japanese competitors currently locked within their pods, the dangerous Asuka, and the Women's Champion herself, Kairi Sane. Io nods her head almost as if she's saying to herself, "I'm ready, I can do this, tonight is my night!" a referee guides Io to her pod and she enters without hesitation, within moments the door is shut and secured and before long Io's theme has died out, paving the way for the next competitor to make their way out.

The XWL Universe let out a massive pop as the theme of the former Women's Champion Tessa Blanchard begins to blast within the arena. Tessa's coming off of a massive statement win this past week on Anarchy when she delivered back to back Buzzsaw DDT's ON A LADDER to both Becky Lynch and Kairi Sane AND managed to pin the very woman who took the Women's Championship from her at International Incident, Kairi Sane. It brought an end to a rapid downward spiral from Tessa that had lasted from that fateful night in Scotland up until that moment last week when the referee raised her hand in victory, she looks to ride that wave of momentum into tonight where she'll be competing in her very first Elimination Chamber match.

This however, is no ordinary match for the Undeniable Diamond, this is her contractual rematch that she CHOSE to take here tonight INSIDE of a sadistic structure that she has never stepped foot in before, a massive gamble by anyone's standards, but for Tessa? this is the way it always had to be for her once she lost that championship in her first defense. In Tessa's eyes? seeing as she didn't make a successful defense of that championship? she felt as though she should have to EARN that title back in the most difficult of circumstances and PROVE to the XWL universe that her win at Final Stand? the win that ended an all time great title reign in this company from Natalya? it wasn't all a FLUKE, and in a matter of moments? she's gonna get her chance to prove that the rise of Tessa Blanchard didn't peak at Final Stand, it's not gonna peak tonight or tomorrow either, the rise of Tessa Blanchard? it's simply UNDENIABLE.....

As the XWL universe awaits the arrival of Tessa out onto the stage, they notice that her titantron and side trons graphics package has gotten a makeover, the background of the tron is a dynamic white pearl color as cursive style writing in a bold italic style covers the screen, "Tessa" spans the top line colored in gold with the "a" in Tessa being shaped as a diamond, beneath the top line is "Undeniable" colored in black with gold trim, once again the "a" is a diamond, finally the bottom line spells out "Blanchard" colored in gold, and the two "a's" in it are diamond shaped. As the XWL universe continues to admire this sleek new design for Tessa, they hear a beeping noise, very similar to the sound that a truck or heavy machine makes when they go into reverse, matter of fact? it's not "similar", it IS indeed that very noise, and within moments we see exactly the cause of said sound as an older model International armored truck backs into the arena from the entrance just to the side of the ramp. The truck is not your typical fleet style armored truck that a bank would use, this thing is customized to no end, it's white with black and gold trim with diamond encrusted rims, the sides of the truck which would normally display a major name such as well's fargo is currently displaying a new name, also donned in a cursive stylish font, when the XWL universe gets a more zoomed in look at the writing on the truck, they begin to lose it with excitement as they realize what's occurring....

"Tessa Blanchard Enterprises"

An armed guard steps out of the passenger seat of the truck and makes his way to the back, he goes through the various stages of unlocking the rear doors as no door towards such precious cargo should be easy for anyone to gain access to. After a few moments the  guard finally gets the doors open and out pops XWL's Undeniable Diamond to a great pop, she's donned in metallic style gear that's very reminiscent of a diamond sort of theme, her traditional entrance jacket also reads "Tessa Blanchard Enterprises" on the back. Tessa executes her "Tessa Pose" to perfection directly behind the armored truck she just stepped out of. Seeing as the ramp to the ring is short tonight due to the chambers, she hands the guard her jacket and shades before stepping up onto the ramp and heading down towards the structure. She slaps the hand of a few lucky fans along the way before stepping through the door and into the sinister structure for the first time in her career, she looks around at the three women already locked in their pods, one of them? Asuka, the same woman who's pinned her twice in the last month alone, Tessa will certainly be out to rectify that tonight, but she can't let it take too much of her focus or she'll lose this match before it's began, she has to stay locked in.

Her eyes then shift towards the current champion, the woman who took her championship at International Incident in Scotland, the history between these two? it's grown deeper and deeper by the week, once bitter rivals, turned competitive friends for once, but friendship is out the window between these two tonight, they both wanna leave this chamber with the championship in their grasp, and they know that one will more then likely have to go through the other to do so, all bets are off between these two tonight. Last but not least, she spots Io Shirai in the other pod, they've never squared off before but Tessa knows just how world reknown Io and her abilities are , she won't take her lightly, especially in this environment where it's anyone's game tonight. The referee guides Tessa to the last available pod that she'll be occupying, she touches it and takes in the magnitude of the match that will be starting in a matter of minutes, knowing full well everything to gain, and everything to lose, she enters the pod and the referee seals the door, Tessa's theme dies off and it's time for the two women who'll start this match in the ring.

An unfamiliar theme blasts around the arena, the fans wonder who this could be. They get their answer as the words "The Man" appear on the titantron. Much to the fans excitement, we see the words DEVIL TRIGGER flash across the screen until the lights go out...

Renee Young
Looks like Becky ditched her normal theme for this match!

Corey Graves
Who cares about the theme! She's here to fight!

The arena grows dark, the only lights coming from the cell phones in the arena and just as the song picks up a spotlight shows us one woman standing on the stage with her back towards the camera wearing the trench coat "Nero" from the DMC series is known for and wielding a replica "Red Queen" sword. She extends her arm with the sword into the air as the fans shout "BANG BANG BANG!"

Mauro Ranallo
The Man doing a little cosplay here tonight!

Corey Graves
This is the nerdiest thing I've ever seen, she needs to leave.

Becky in one confident motion plants the sword tip onto the stage as the fans yell "PULL MY DEVIL TRIGGER" she revs the Red Queens handle which sounds almost like revving a motorcycle that causes the admittedly outstanding replicas blade to light up and a small fire display to shoot from the exhaust pipes on the handle. None of the women in the ring look very impressed but, Becky doesn't care. We see she's wearing her normal shorts and "The Man" shirt under the trench coat as she swings the sword and points it at the ring straight at Asuka who just looks away unimpressed, she then swings the sword over her shoulder where it then rests.

Renee Young
Corey, you have to admit this is pretty cool, Becky is showing her nerdy side here in a very creative way!

Corey Graves
I hope she gets pinned first...This is what is wrong with wrestling.

Becky soaks in the fans excitement and struts down the ramp with her sword in hand, the camera zooms on her right boot showing the words "Devil Trigger" as she hands her coat and sword to the ringside attendant.

Corey Graves
What the hell even is a "Devil Trigger" anyways? None of this makes sense!

Mauro Ranallo
Well, apparently Becky Lynch is such a big DMC fan she named her Rocket Kick move "The Devil Trigger", Corey.

Renee Young
Hey, I'm down! Great name for a great move, and how awesome was that entrance?!

Becky smirks and steps into the ring, Kairi claps at the entrance a little before noticing Tessa shaking her head no, which causes Kairi to stop clapping. Becky now awaits Alexa Bliss...

As Becky Lynch lies waiting inside The Chamber, and the other four Women including The Women's Champion have been locked inside of their pods, it now left the final competitor to make their entrance. Alexa's music garners a loud positive response, as she steps out from the back dripping in gold from her headband to her gold kick pads.

Corey Graves

Excuse me, what is she wearing?

Renee Young
She's got gold on her mind, and that has spread to her gear tonight.

Corey Graves
Blasphemy, there is only ONE Golden Goddess, and that isn't this knockoff.

Mauro Ranallo
Oh don't start...you act like Mandy owns the color gold.

Corey Graves
Of course she doesn't, god does...which he bestowed upon to her when he created her, keep up Mauro.

Renee Young
Perhaps it's just a message that she hopes to leave tonight with the gold, whether that be The Women's title in this match, or The North American Championship later. But I'll be honest she's totally being petty and wearing this to spite Mandy, and well...I kind of love her for it. I mean Mandy stole her show last week, and has been petty on all accounts from overshadowing Alexa's victories to costing her matches with voice-overs...I live for the payback of pettiness.

Alexa stands at the top of the ramp raising both of her black gloves up toward the camera, showing off the special gold skeletal designs that are usually white, before clenching her fists and proceeding down the ramp to head into her first of two title matches tonight.

Mauro Ranallo
We've asked what many of the competitors tonight have to do to emerge victorious tonight...but given Alexa's special circumstances, what does she have to do?

Corey Graves
Give it everything she's got in this match because either way she's just coming back out here later to lose to her celestial superior The North American Champion Mandy Rose.

Renee Young
You're just saying that because you want Alexa to have nothing left in her by the time she faces Mandy so that Mandy retains. Which is obviously the intention behind having her agree to be in this match, starting The Elimination Chamber, in order to even get the North American title match she's been after for almost two months.

Corey Graves
She scratched their back by being a last minute replacement for an injured Allie, and they scratched hers by rewarding her with the match she's so sure she's going to win how is there anything foul about that?

Renee Young
Anyways Mauro, I think she has to be smart, which we know she is. She's very cunning...and she has to avoid giving too much, but also too little of herself. She'd love to leave Downpour as Women's Champion AND North American Champion, winning her first and second titles all in the same night...and to do that, she has to pick her spots and pick them well.

Alexa reaches the short trek to the bottom of the ramp and now comes face to face with Satan's structure itself, The Elimination Chamber. The gates of hell are open, and she's now left to invite herself in, and face the carnage that no doubt awaits her within. Being in a match like this is difficult, but starting a match like this is an entirely different beast. But Drew McIntyre was able to earlier tonight in the opening contest, and he went on to win the entire thing retaining his title. Natalya herself in The Women's Elimination Chamber did so last year...but Alexa isn't as experienced as them in matches as brutal as this one. Does that work against her or can she follow in their footsteps? With a deep inhale, and a slow exhale, she makes her way up the couple of steps and steps inside The Elimination Chamber, no doubt overwhelmed by how big it is, and how little she is.

Corey Graves
A tall order tonight that's for sure.

Mauro Ranallo
She's often said she's small but fierce, so I'm not sure size is a factor tonight.

Renee Young
She's ready to unleash all five feet of her fury and maybe walk away The New Women's Champion.

Alexa's eyes shift to her left, where Asuka stands foaming at the mouth, pounding on the Plexiglas no doubt dying to get her hands on the woman she had quite the rivalry with last year, which ended with a sour taste in Asuka's mouth as she was forced to kiss Alexa's boot, and then got the boot from the company. Alexa's a different person now...but unfortunately, so is Asuka. She then looks to her right, and sees Io Shirai the woman she fought in Scotland last month in an impromptu match one of Kairi's old friends that really showed she's a future Champion in the making in their match, and would no doubt like to avenge her loss tonight by potentially eliminating Alexa.

Alexa's eyes shift forward to where The Man Becky Lynch is stretching against the ropes, eyeing her with a smile as she knows shes beaten Alexa before and the fact she's starting with her could perhaps favor her because she could make short work of Alexa. Little Miss Bliss sees Tessa in the pod on the upper right section of the chamber, a woman that once upon a time ago she helped Kairi defeat, a Woman that has since defeated her and if history is anything to go by could prove a huge threat to her chances of winning tonight. Because after all this is the woman who ended Natalya's historic and unstoppable reign...she's going to be tough to combat.

Lastly, Alexa approaches the corner in the bottom right where The Women's Champion Kairi Sane stands with a smile. This is her best friend, and while they had a great interaction later when they were interviewed about their night ahead...this match is hard to guarantee that either of them will keep their word other than the trust they may believe exists between them. Alexa was so happy for Kairi when she won the title and claimed her treasure at International Incident, practically tackled her as soon as she stepped through the curtain to hug her and celebrate her. But now, she's one of the first challengers to her reign...and while Alexa would love to win tonight...winning means Kairi loses. Can their friendship survive this chamber as they believed it would? Or is this the last time they will look to one another with smiles on their faces, and love in their hearts? The chamber door is locked shut, and Alexa makes her way to her corner as she and Becky prepare to start this match.

Becky's on the top rope looking down at a proned Kairi Sane, Tessa recovers in the corner and Alexa leaves the cage as Becky is set to leap off the top rope for a leg drop that is until we hear the crowd pop for some unknowable reason, the camera pans to see Alexa laid out and Asuka fighting her way through the cage attendees to bulldoze into the devilish structure once more. Becky hops off the top rope as the both go straight for each other landing heavy punch after heavy punch gripping each others head as they do. Becky gets the upperhand and knocks Asuka down to one knee,  seeing her moment she runs off the ropes and attempts to go for the Devil Trigger, bit Asuka has it scouted as she grabs Becky's legs and hits her with a double stomp but shes not done yet...She picks Becky straight up deadlifting her into her new butterfly cutter! Becky crashes hard into the mat and is out. Asuka leaves the cage after what seems like costing Becky the match.

As Asuka begins to leave the threshold of the Elimination Chamber and a downed Becky Lynch in her wake, Kairi, who has made her way to the top rope is in perfect position to eliminate “The Man” from this match and make it a rematch from International Incident between herself and the former Women's Champion in Tessa Blanchard. As Kairi raises her arms into the air above her head, signaling for the precise yet deadly InSane Elbow, her elimination is thwarted by Tessa, who begins motioning towards the pod behind the Women's Champion. The Japanese native looks over her shoulder and spots the battle tested pod behind her, the shattered Plexiglas resting within the pod after Alexa Bliss was sent into it against her will courtesy of Asuka earlier in the match but the infrastructure itself remains true. Kairi shifts her focus from Becky and places her foot on the ring post, using it as a launching pad to throw herself atop the pod. Cheers begin to grow in intensity as there's only one thing she could possibly try from the elevated structure. Kairi makes it to a vertical base and inches closer to the edge, the live audience reaching their breaking point as the anticipation continues to rise. Once again, Kairi throws her arms into the air and takes a deep breath before swinging her arms downwards and sending herself flying of the pod. As she soars through the air with calculated precision, time seemingly slows down immensely, a myriad of flashes and excitement from the live audience in attendance takes its place until time is restored when Kairi's InSane Elbow is driven into Becky's heart. The impact of the maneuver causes Kairi to sit up for a single moment before falling back down, her back landing across Becky's chest, causing the referee to drop down to his knees and begin making the count.

BECKY LYNCH HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!

After a long and grueling contest full of twists and turns, we have finally arrived at the final two: The former Women's Champion, Tessa Blanchard, and the defending Champion, Kairi Sane. With the latter still recovering from her high flying adventure, Tessa walks up to a downed Kairi Sane and begins to lift her to her feet. One has to believe that this was Tessa's plan all along, trick Kairi into using everything she had left to eliminate Becky then like a vulture, pick up the pieces and the Women's Championship in the process. As Kairi makes it to a vertical base, albeit doubled over, courtesy of Tessa, she's in prime position to put an end to this match in one swift motion but instead helps her over towards the nearest corner? Perhaps the Tessa Blanchard of old would do such a thing, do anything and everything she could to ensure that the Women's Championship returns to her possession but not this version of her. This mutual respect between them was earned at International Incident and she'll be damned if she loses it a month later like that. Tessa begins to back up to the opposite turnbuckle, giving Kairi a few precious moments to regain her composure and her breath before she pulls herself away from the turnbuckle, causing Tessa to do the same, the long awaited rematch between them now underway.

These two waste no time in going at it, they're battered, beaten, fatigued to no end, but deep down in their hearts, these two knew that one would have to deal with the other in this match eventually, and as fate would have it, they have to deal with one another as the final two participants in this match, it's win or go home right now, everything's on the line, and these women are gonna fight until they can't fight anymore, that's just how they're programmed. They both use their energy reserves to unleash a striking barrage on one another, Tessa CRACKS Kairi with a nasty forearm that's sent her reeling all the way backwards and onto the ropes, Kairi turns a negative into a positive by using the momentum from the ropes to charge at Tessa and CONNECT with the Interceptor basically breaking Tessa in half.

Kairi's running on empty but she knows she has to do more to get a three count on Tessa, so she begins to ponder another trusty move in her arsenal, those plans are put into action as she drags Tessa off the mat and places her in position over her head which can only mean one thing, an Alabama Slam is in Blanchard's future OR IS IT BECAUSE TESSA JUST COUNTERED INTO A CANADIAN DESTROYER!!!!

Kairi is on cloud nine, this is one of the moves that led to Natalya being dethroned at Final Stand and it's just ROCKED the Women's Champion, Tessa springs into action directly after impact, so quick as a matter of fact that she almost lost her balanced and stumbled down to the mat due to the hell she's been through tonight, she approaches Kairi who's still sitting upright in a seated position with her head leaning back in the air, she might be knocked out right here, but Tessa is taking no chances in hoping for a referee stoppage, she's going for the kill, she gets a grip on Kairi's neck with a ddt style hold and uses that leverage to lift her out of the seated position and to her feet, she then proceeds to grab ahold of Kairi's arm and spins her around to apply the Hammerlock that'll lead to Buzzsaw and a three count and a second Women's Title victory for Tessa BUT WAIT JUST A DAMN MINUTE BECAUSE KAIRI'S JUST SPUN THROUGH THE HAMMERLOCK ATTEMPT AND ADDED ANOTHER ROTATION TO IT AS SHE'S SHIFTED HER ARM POSITION AND GAINED THE COMMANDING AND CONTROLLING GRIP OF THIS HOLD, WHAT A COUNTER BY KAIRI, SHE HAS TESSA SPUN TO HER SIDE RIGHT WHERE SHE WANTS HER, IN PRIME POSITION FOR THE CUTLASS, THE VERY MOVE THAT WON KAIRI THE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP, SHE MAINTAINS HER GRIP ON TESSA AND SOARS UP INTO THE SKIES!!!!!

CUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTLLLLLLLLLLLLL-------------

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TESSA'S MANAGED TO SOMEHOW SHIFT HER WEIGHT AND HAS AVOIDED COLLAPSING DOWN TO THE MAT TO COMPLETE THE CUTLASS, WHICH MEANS KAIRI IS SOMEHOW BALANCED ON TESSA'S RIGHT SHOULDER WITH THE ONLY THING KEEPING HER FROM FALLING DOWN TO THE MAT BEING THE GRIP SHE HOLDS ON TESSA'S ARM!!!

Tessa slowly gathers the strength in her left arm to raise it over her head and somehow gets a light grip over Kairi's neck with it!!! All of a sudden Kairi's spectacular counter of Tessa's Buzzsaw attempt has turned into an absolute nightmare!!! Kairi fights with everything she has to squirm from side to side to try and break out of this precarious predicament she's in atop Tessa's right shoulder, a serious look comes over Tessa's face as Kairi squirms helplessly, she tightens the grip of her left hand around Kairi's neck as tight as she possibly can from the angle she's at before corking her body to the left and delivering one of the sickest maneuvers we've ever bore witness too, a Buzzsaw DDT across her body from the top of her right shoulder using Kairi's own grip from the Cutlass attempt against her as a hammerlock style hold that gave her just enough leverage to raise her left hand over her head and into position to grip Kairi and subsequently send her crashing down from the skies and back down to earth HEAD FIRST in a twisting style motion. Tessa makes the cover....

3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE UNDENIABLE WOULD NOT BE DENIED YET AGAIN!!! Tessa Blanchard is now a two time Women's Champion!!! She's outlasted five other competitors and managed to eliminate three of those five in her first ever Elimination Chamber match to reclaim the title she lost just over a month ago. Tessa lays on the mat next to Kairi as she's physically and mentally exhausted, in the end, Kairi Sane gave it EVERYTHING she had, but on this night, Tessa Blanchard emerged victorious, very similar to their International Incident encounter in the sense that it could've gone either way at the end, but a split second moment of brilliance from Kairi that seemed to have her en route to her first title defense, went horribly wrong due to a split second moment of brilliance from Tessa which led to her getting the victory night, it's tit for tat with these two, their battles have proven that they can go either way and be decided on a moment's notice, it's absolutely incredible and the XWL universe is showing their appreciation for not just these two, but to ALL the women who showed up and showed out in this chamber match tonight.

The ref receives the title belt from an assistant who was outside of the ring, he takes it to Tessa who's used the ropes to help her rise to her feet, she stares at the title for a moment before grabbing it with both hands and bringing into her chest and hugging it like she hadn't seen it in years, it's only been a month, but for Tessa, this is more then just time apart, this is vindication, this is redemption, this is PROOF that Final Stand wasn't a fluke and that the rise of Tessa is indeed UNDENIABLE. One can imagine that Natalya is watching from somewhere with a huge smile on her face at Tessa's huge victory tonight, over one year after Natalya herself made some history of her own becoming the first ever champion to retain their title inside of the Elimination Chamber, and whilst Tessa can't say she retained the title in this structure, she can say that she eliminated three of it's participants just like Natalya did in her historic win last year, all in all, a grueling but incredible night for Tessa.

Tessa raises the title to the applauding crowd as the referee's check on Kairi after that massive and nasty spike into the mat, she appears to be okay though as she's seen responding to their questions and nodding her head as though she's okay. Tessa turns towards Kairi and extends her free hand to Kairi to attempt in assisting her to her feet, Kairi sits there in contemplation for a few moments as Tessa insists on helping the Pirate Princess to a vertical base, eventually, she grips Tessa's hand and is pulled to her feet. Tessa attempts to pull Kairi for a hug but the Princess places her hands in the way and blocks the attempt as a look of disappointment and frustration engulfs her face, she rips the title out of Tessa's left hand and stares into it, seconds go by and they feel like minutes as you can cut this tension with a knife, Tessa has a look of "oh ok, it's come to this hasn't it" that's come over her face, but then, before things can explode, Kairi steps behind Tessa and wraps the title belt around her waist, just like Tessa did for her a month ago, she then initiates a hug with Tessa and the two share a tearful embrace in the center of the ring where they left EVERYTHING they had in tonight. The two ladies help each other out of the chamber and slap fans hands on their way up the ramp and to the top of the stage as these fans give them the ovation they deserve after tonight's performance. Tessa raises the title over her head with one hand as Kairi raises Tessa's other in victory for a few moments before the two disappear into the back which leads the show into an advertisement break.

As Alexa's music sounds, there's not a long delay, if any really before she steps through the curtain, her hair not exactly in its best state after the grueling Elimination Chamber Match she dealt with earlier. But her body seems worse for wear itself, her left arm is wrapped pretty high and heavily with tape, her mid section is wound with tape as well, and there's even a bit of tape peaking out from under her right knee pad that tell us all we need to know about the wounds of war she'll be heading into this match with. She stops at the top of the ramp trying to raise her arm to do her usual pose, but winces halfway through and opts to just raise the one hand toward the camera before clenching it and letting out an exhale.

[Corey Graves]
LOOK WHO IT IS GUYS! THE NEW WOMEN- OH WAIT...

[Renee Young]
You're taking the fact that she's still wearing her all gold gear very personally aren't you?

[Mauro Ranallo]
Quite indeed, while Alexa Bliss may not be The New Women's Champion...that honor goes to Tessa Blanchard who in her rematch clause within The Elimination Chamber dethroned Kairi Sane, the woman who dethroned her the month before. But Alexa Bliss certainly had an impact all on her own in that match. Can we talk about that TWISTED BLISS FROM THE TOP OF THE POD?

[Corey Graves]
Actually, yes...CAN WE? WHY WOULD SHE BE SO STUPID TO DO THAT KNOWING SHE HAD TO COMPETE LATER?

[Renee Young]
She nearly eliminated Asuka with it and you know what they say go big or go home and she went BIG.

[Corey Graves]
And home a loser.

[Mauro Ranallo]
That depends on how you look at it, Corey.

[Corey Graves]
Well Tessa eliminated her, just like she eliminated Io Shirai, and ultimately Kairi Sane...so there's only one way to look at that.

Alexa starts to descend down the ramp, not nearly as much pep in her step as earlier in the evening, but despite not being one hundred percent she's been waiting for this opportunity for a while, had to jump through all sorts of hoops to get it, and she's not going to complain about being hurt, or ask for it to be postponed...because she knows that tonight is it for her. She only was granted this opportunity because they knew she wouldn't be at her best when competing against Mandy, they wanted to ruin her friendship with Kairi by making them "enemies" but that failed. Because the two best friends didn't lay a single finger on each other for that entire match just as they said they wouldn't until it came down to them in the final two. Alexa's coming out with a several bones to pick with The North American Champion, and that is what fuels her to fight through the pain because nothing will make the pain go away quite like standing over Mandy with her title above your head.

[Corey Graves]
Isn't it bad luck to compete in the same gear you lost in earlier in the same night?

[Renee Young]
I think Alexa's concerned about more than gear choices right now, Corey.

[Mauro Ranallo]
She was in the trainer's room for quite some time after her elimination in The Women's Championship Match earlier, as you can see she's bandaged on her arm, her knee, and her stomach.

[Corey Graves]
Maybe don't jump off a pod, or get speared through one for that matter then.

[Renee Young]
Actually she wasn't at all concerned with her injuries she had to go through the process in order to be cleared for this match because knowing how things have gone her way as of late? I wouldn't have put it past Mr. McMahon to cite Alexa was unable to compete and declare Mandy the victor by forfeit. I had a quick word with her during a break earlier and that was pretty much Alexa's sentiments. She refused to give them any excuse to go back on their word, which is also why she was heavily watching the clock to ensure that the match didn't happen sooner than planned just so they could again say she forfeited via not showing up.

[Mauro Ranallo]
It's been a very interesting story to follow, Alexa feels like her back is against a wall and she's been struggling to not get squashed by the obstacles put in her way in her path to get this match.

Little Miss Bliss reaches the bottom of the ramp and rather than pulling herself up onto the apron for her "showy" entry into the ring as she does any other night...tonight, given her injuries she opts instead for the stairs. Carefully taking each step as not to aggravate her knee any further until she reaches the apron and again gingerly steps inside.

[Corey Graves]
Let's be honest the only reason Alexa's out here looking like The Mummy is because she wants an excuse for when she loses. Because there's always gotta be an excuse with her, and tonight will be no different. She'll be out here on Anarchy crying about her "owies" and have the nerve to demand another opportunity. Because Mandy Rose forbid she actually accepts when she's beaten.

[Renee Young]
Di-did you just...did you really just say Mandy Rose forbid, instead of god forbid?

[Corey Graves]
I mean she's the one true Goddess of this division, why would I say anything else?

[Mauro Ranallo]
Anyways...we asked earlier tonight what Alexa had to do in order to leave The Chamber as Women's Champion...but while that didn't happen, she now faces her second title match of the night against a fresh Mandy Rose who hasn't competed for the last month since her defense against Nikki Cross in Scotland. What does someone who isn't at her best need to do to tip the sales in her favor?

[Renee Young]
I think going back to it, she has to pick her spots wisely. Every move needs to be with the intention of setting up her victory. Don't take any risks unless they're going to pay off, because say what we will about Mandy...she's very smart when she competes. And from my counts, she's got three direct targets to aim for on Alexa...and that's a tough position for a challenger to be in.

[Corey Graves]
I'll tell you what she needs to do, get on her hands and knees, beg for Mandy's forgiveness and then lie on her back, accept her holiness into her heart just as I have accepted her in mine, and pledge her allegiance to never blaspheme her name ever again. THAT is how Alexa wins, by losing with grace.

Alexa backs herself into the corner, pulling her gold knee pad up higher over the bandaged knee ensuring it's going to do its job. She knows the upcoming match might even be more difficult than The Elimination Chamber because of what damage the chamber did to her. Because Mandy is in tip top condition with not so much as a broken nail. But that isn't going to stop her from giving this everything she has, from taking advantage of this opportunity she had to repeatedly demand. Can she dethrone God's Greatest Creation? Or will she be smited down for daring to try to?

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 BU3XBop

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 VucILN9

[Corey Graves]
Mauro, Renee, ON YOUR FEET! God's Greatest Creation is HERE!

Corey's voice is practically inaudible over the overwhelming amount of boos. Not only is it the majority that are avidly protesting Mandy, but it's the passionate majority. Despite their tireless booing, the entire arena is filled with iridescent gold while the North American Champion's theme song enters the ears and warms the cold hearts of all in attendance. The edges of the screen are softly blurred out to draw focus onto the center, which is a position soon occupied by none other than Mandy Rose who steps out onto the stage with her Championship held high in her signature pose. The Golden Goddess smiles haughtily as her left hand slowly falls back to a resting position behind her head.

[Renee Young]
How can Mandy do this? How can she sleep at night knowing that she has taken every step that she can to completely derail and potentially end the career of Alexa Bliss? Bliss is clearly worse for wear after the Elimination Chamber match as we've mentioned, but how can Mandy always look so pleased with herself when carrying out these types of actions?

[Corey Graves]
Excuse me, Renee? Ask and ye shall receive. Alexa has been trying her absolute best to soil the monumental and unparalleled reign of Mandy Rose every chance she gets. She's been going on and on about opportunity for weeks, and when Mandy graciously and selflessly makes her wildest dreams come true, now SHE'S the bad guy? That is some of the most backwards thinking I have ever heard. You need Mandy, Renee. Maybe if you followed her as faithfully as you follow all of these gossip blogs that do nothing but spew nonsensical and unfounded rumors about the Golden Goddess, then you'd be able to bring something a little more meaningful, insightful, and positive to the table.

[Renee Young]
Excuse me? I'd like to think that I bring plenty of insightfulness to the conversation at hand, maybe a little too much insight than you'd prefer since I, and the rest of these fans, don't seem to being buying into your "Mandy Cult."

[Corey Graves]
"CULT?" Following Mandy is not a "cult" Renee, it's a simply a superior way of life.

As Mandy approaches ringside, she fluffs up the feathery collar of her high-end, custom-made jacket. The sight of her competition for the evening being all bandaged and bruised brings a slight smirk to the heavenly face of the Champion. She hooks her fingers around the ring post, using it for leverage to swing herself around to the side of the ring where she gracefully propels herself up onto the apron, rotating until she comes to an abrupt halt in her signature post once again. This time, she gives a slow and sultry wink towards the camera before easing her way under the bottom rope in a risque backwards crawl.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Nonetheless you two, Mandy Rose is set to defend her North American Championship here against a tattered shell of Alexa Bliss. While Rose's professional wrestling career has had no shortage of controversy, even applying the way that she received the Championship, one thing that is for certain is that when she does actually defend her Championship, we've seen Mandy pull out all of the stops in order to successfully retain her title.

[Renee Young]
I have no problem giving credit where credit is due, Mandy had an incredibly first defense against Nikki Cross at International Incident, but that's the last time we've even seen her in the ring! I don't mean to be the whistle blower here, but there's obviously some degree of favoritism at work.

[Corey Graves]
Oh, so now it's Mr. McMahon's fault! Is that what you're saying, Renee? Go ahead, blame everybody but Alexa Bliss. I'll have you know that my sources have confirmed that Mr. McMahon and Mandy Rose have a STRICTLY professional relationship, and nothing can be or has been proven otherwise because it's nothing more than a fabrication to try and sully the reputation and accomplishments of the greatest, most magnificent North American Champion of all time.

As Mandy stands back up to her feet, now inside of the ring, she skips her usual pose and opts furrow her brows together in a false look of concern. She rubs the parts of her body where Alexa is taped and mocks her with a patronizing: "ARE YOU OKAY?" The Golden Goddess scoffs to herself as Alexa seethes in the corner, eagerly awaiting the chime of the bell so that she can finally get her hands on the elusive Mandy Rose.

[Jojo Offerman]
The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the North American CHAMPIONSHIP!... Introducing first, the challenger, from Columbus, Ohio: Alexa, BLISS!

The crowd gives a yet another surprisingly enthusiastic pop in support of the wounded warrior, Alexa Bliss, while Mandy leans back in the corner and yawns nonchalantly.

[Jojo Offerman]
And her opponent, she is the current North American Champion, from Yorktown Heights, New York... She is God's Greatest Creation: Mandy, ROSE!

While the crowd comes down on Mandy once again in full force, it all rolls right off of the toned back of the Champion as she holds up her title high in her right hand and rests her left behind her head one more time in the trademarked Goddess pose. The smile on the face of Rose radiates confidence and elegance as she hands her title off to the official, who raises it in the air for the camera one last time before calling for the bell to begin the match.

After grabbing the bottom rope and successfully calling for the break of the count, Mandy Rose swiftly rolls out of the ring, spilling out at ringside barricade. Alexa takes a few deep, heaving breaths to blow off some visible steam before attempting to follow after the fleeing Champion. As she does though, she's halted by the referee who steps in her way and blocks her from exiting the ring to reach Mandy Rose! Alexa's expression says it all as she looks up at the referee with a face that is shockingly not surprised. As she argues with the referee who persists in stepping from left to right, and any which way that Alexa tries to dash around him, Mandy is beginning to pick herself up with the leverage of the barricade wall, watching the scene unravel from ringside. Back in the ring, Alexa lets out a shriek: "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Little Miss Bliss begins to verbally berate the out-of-line official accordingly, allowing that side of her to creep back out once again, the same side of her that we saw a sneak peek of when Mandy Rose originally guest starred on her show, A Moment of Bliss. While the altercation between the challenger and the referee continues to get heavier, the camera flashes to Rose who is now leaning against the barricade, taking a much needed breather after the clinic that she and Bliss have both been putting on each other for the duration of the match up until this very moment.

Suddenly, the right hand side of the camera's lens catches a mysterious and cliche hooded figure handing something to Mandy Rose from over the barricade! Rose quickly conceals the item behind her back, potentially playing possum at this point as she proceeds to collect herself and level her breathing. The surrounding crowd who bore witness to the exchange are all leaning over the barricade, shouting at Alexa and pointing to the Champion who at this point is lying in wait. As if having received the verbal cue in his ear from Mr. McMahon himself, the referee willingly steps aside while Bliss rolls her eyes and ducks down under the ropes to hop out at ringside. Alexa walks with a purpose in each step, marching over to the questionably wounded Mandy. The crowd is desperately trying to warn the challenger, but unfortunately all of her focus is exclusively belongs to the Champion in this moment. The second that Bliss steps within range, Mandy snaps out of her dazed state and whips the weapon around to strike Alexa straight in the side of the ribs!

THWACK!

Bliss buckles over in response to the blunt force by what is now revealed to be-... THE BLISS STICK! Rose lays a few more solid and strategic shots onto Bliss's body until Five Feet of Fury is now leveled onto the ground and writhing in pain. Mandy's hooded companion didn't just hand her any old weapon to put her challenger away, no, she opted for Bliss's signature piece! Mandy adorns an elegant grin as she holds her hands out wide to bask in her own glory as the referee immediately calls for the bell to signal the end of this contest via disqualification.

[Jojo Offerman]
Ladies and gentlemen, as a result of a disqualification, here is your winner: Alexa Bliss. However, STILL your North American Champion and God’s Greatest Creation: Mandy, ROSE!

Mandy points at herself with both extended hands and drops the Bliss Stick on the mangled carcass of Alexa Bliss before she starts walking over to collect her "successfully" retained North American Championship. She dusts off her hands and flicks her hair back over her tanned shoulder as the referee hands her the title. She doesn't even bother holding it high into the face of the fans, instead Mandy simply slides it onto her arm like a Chanel handbag and begins to strut off, stepping right over the frame of Alexa in the process. "AT LEAST YOU TRIED!" She shouts out in a demeaning manner before continuing to walk up the ramp, passed the walls of booing fans. The Golden Goddess doesn't seem the least bit bothered though, she feels as though she has nothing to prove to Alexa or to these people. With the "Mandy's Little Helper" having vanished from ringside by this point, and Bliss still barely showing signs of life.

Everyone turns their attention away from the spectacle that is the result of this match and towards the stage as the General Manager of Anarchy himself begins to strut out onto the stage. People naturally start to boo him for his alleged “affiliations” with the current North American Champion, Mandy Rose. With a mic in his hand, Mr. McMahon signals for his music to be cut and nearly immediately after, it fades out abruptly. At this point, we’re not sure if he’s here to scold or applaud God’s Greatest Creation, but considering this is the first time we’ve actually seen the two in the same room together since Rose was awarded the Championship, it will be telling to see just how much Vince approves of his “chosen one.”

[Vince McMahon]
Mandy Rose, know that when I say what I’m about to say, I speak not only for myself, but for all of these people who bought tickets to finally see GOD’S GREATEST CREATION defend her prestigious North American Championship against Five Feet of Fury, Alexa Bliss... This is NOT the outcome that we wanted! After earning your Number One Contendership, rightfully being gifted the North American Championship, and successfully defending that title against Nikki Cross at International Incident, do you really want to soil your history-making reign by retaining your title off of technicality and disqualification?

Mandy glances down at the ground between her metallic golden boots, seemingly hanging her head in shame as though she is coming to terms with her own underhanded tactics in this moment. Perhaps that rumors aren’t true, perhaps Mr. McMahon is going to set the record straight and right this blatant injustice of—

[Vince McMahon]
That’s why I’m officially restarting this match, RIGHT NOW! Gentlemen?

Mandy cuts the crap and laughs in an angelic fashion, placing her hand over her chest in an effort to contain herself after the display that’s clear now to have been nothing more than an elaborate act. On Vince’s cue, two security personnel equipped with black polos and slacks run down to the ring from backstage, and approach the still unconscious Bliss and the confident Rose. Mandy strokes and combs her perfectly manicured fingernails through the ends of her golden blonde hair as she gestures for the men to move the unresponsive body of Alexa Bliss inside of the ring. “GET HER IN THE RING!” The Golden Goddess barks. Vince watches on like a proud “daddy” while the expressions on the two staff member’s faces clearly displays the internal and ethical battle being waged inside of their minds. But, a paycheck is a paycheck and what the boss and his golden girl want, they seemingly tend to get. After one grabs her legs and the other grabs her arms, the two successfully hoist Bliss into the ring with relative physical ease. Their task was not yet complete, however, as Mandy Rose claps her hands together twice and holds her arms out, presenting herself. The men then place lift the Golden Goddess up by her arms, gracefully placing her into the apron. Mandy smiles like only a true vixen can while she shoos them away and ducks down between the ropes. With Vince’s watchful eye still close on the scene, the referee makes the morally challenging decision to declare Bliss ready to compete and calls for the bell.

DING

DING

DING!

[Jojo Offerman]
Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a rematch and it is for the North American Champ—

Before Jojo can even finish the introduction, Mandy drops down to the mat and doesn’t even bother hooking either of Alexa’s legs. She simply lays out in the form of a Greek goddess, placing her toned and tanned arm over the torso of Bliss while resting her full head of beautiful blonde hair in her palm and smiling at the camera.

Here is your winner, AND STILL your North American Champion and God’s Greatest Creation: Mandy, ROSE!

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 QaqJaoa

Mandy stands up off of the mat as if she just won prom queen for the 4th consecutive year. She holds out her hand and collects her Championship from the official who raises her hand accordingly. After holding both hands high in her signature pose, Mandy lowers one arm and points towards Vince, who is applauding the record-breaking briefest match in history. The Golden Goddess winks in the direction of the General Manager, who makes his way backstage, presumably to his office to let Mandy have her moment. Rose uses the midsection of Bliss as a stepping stone instead of walking around her, and the body of the bested challenger was still in such an unconscious state that she hardly even flinched from the sudden weight on her gut. The crowd are completely over it, hanging over the barricades at ringside just to boo the North American Champion, who is too preoccupied with her own self-inflicted praise to notice, as she makes her way out of the arena.

XWL Downpour: 5/27/2019 - 6/10/2019 HxYM

As the sands trickle down into the bottom of the hourglass, the camera zooms out to reveal a chair facing a large glass window, the sight of expensive Gucci shoes kicked up on the windowsill as an arm reaches behind the chair, someone grabbing an iPhone, pressing a few times on the touch screen before bringing it up towards their ear.

[???]
Haha...big man! It's almost time. Next week, you and I, the two of us? We're going to take this place by storm and rule it with an iron fist. But you see...they ain't just gonna hand it to us, big man. We gotta go through a bunch of other scrubs to get what we want.

[???]
I know, big guy, I know. Ain't none of these wannabes ready for the two of us, and we'll prove it next week. What? Of course I'm ready, dawg! I've been hitting the gym, I've been lifting weights, I've been preparing, man! I know this is a huge opportunity to get not just my name...but your name in the mouths of a worldwide audience! You're going to be the biggest name in the business. With your God-given talent, and my incredible one of a kind business savvy? We're going to make the most unstoppable team that XWL has ever, ever seen.

[???]
We're going to make those two dorks wish they never even got to lay a fingertip on those titles by the time we're done wrecking these nobodies. Because with me by your side? My man! You are destined for greatness. Just think about you holding that World Heavyweight Championship once we're done making a joke out of this so-called tag team division! That belt was practically crafted to be around your waist, big man. And all we gotta do is get our foot in the door by winning this little tag team tournament nonsense. It's going to be a walk in the park compared to how hard you go in the gym, dawg. Ay, I'mma let you go, a'ight? I got to get on the phone with one of these XWL suits and make sure they're paying you what you're worth. A'ight, catch you next week, big man.

The man presses another button on the touchscreen phone to end the call, sliding it back onto the desk before turning the chair to face the desk, revealing the newest XWL signee, Lio Rush. Lio chuckles to himself before kicking his feet up on it as he grabs a very sleek looking Rolex watch, strapping it on his right wrist. He points to the watch before glaring into the camera, a confident smirk on his face.

[Lio Rush]
XWL Universe...next week the Man of the Hour, the 24 Year Old Piece of Gold, the future of XWL will finally grace your television screens. And he ain't coming alone. So get ready...because it's time...to feel the rush.

Leaning back in the chair, Lio kicks back and laughs confidently as we fade into our next segment.

As we return to the ringside area, a video begins playing on the Titantron, highlighting the events that transpired in the first of three Elimination Chambers for the evening. The first of the many montage of pictures appears, showing the two unfortunate men who started this ominously destructive match in the defending Champion Drew McIntyre and one of the five men who plans to remove the World Heavyweight Championship from the Titanium Tyrant's grasp in Daniel Bryan. After the shot of them fighting one another, a new picture takes its place, showing the third entrant of the match in Aiden English making his way out of his pod and entering the match, his unmatched symphony allowing him to better the two men that started this contest. Then we cut towards the next picture, showing Aleister Black entering the fray and unleashing a barrage of strikes to both men. The next picture fades into view, showing Prince Pretty himself now being forced to “mingle” with those he believes are below him, taking control of the match himself. With the final entry now on screen, Dream enters and adjusts the ambiance to his preference.

With every man in the ring, the next shot shows the first elimination of the match as Tyler Breeze hits the Unprettier on Aleister Black to attain first blood in the match. The next picture takes place shortly after as Drew McIntyre soars through the air, catching Breeze across the jaw with the dreaded Claymore and claiming his first elimination for the match. We then cut to the next elimination as Dream has Aiden in a precarious position before connecting with the infamous Rainmaker DDT, denying him his goal of regaining the World Heavyweight Championship. Next on the docket is Drew's second elimination of the match at the expense of Daniel Bryan, making lightning strike twice with the Claymore. With the final two men left inside Satan's Structure, the Champion that entered the match first and the challenger that entered the match last, stand across the ring from one another, beaten, battered and bruised but still ready for a fight. The next picture shows Dream in position to hit the Rainmaker DDT and to add a second elimination under his belt but a rapid fire change shows that this isn't the case as Drew reverses out of it and hits a DDT of his own: The Future Shock DDT. With his third elimination in the contest and a successful defense now in the record books, the final picture shows Drew raising his World Heavyweight Championship into the air, the Titanium Tyrant clearly ready for any and every challenge that is sent his way.

As that quick recap of the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber comes to an end, we're taken backstage to where the unsuccessful Daniel Bryan is shown sitting on a bench at an undisclosed locker room, the look in his eyes reading a mixture of disappointment, anger and almost a sense of familiarity. Another Pay-Per-View appearance and another loss added to the record books. The night he was supposed to reverse his fortunes and climb to the mountain top, the night he was supposed to prove that he still had “it,” the night that he was finally supposed to become a Champion, has become nothing more than another night of failure. He takes his left hand and begins undoing the tape wrapped around his right wrist, continuing the circular motion until there is none left and rolling it up into a ball in his left hand. He mirrors the gesture to get the tape on his left wrist as well as the circular motion and combines the two balls of tape into one singular ball before tossing it into the nearby trash bin.

He places his head into his open palms, almost as if contemplating not only his future in this company but his career in general. Despite an impressive showing in the Gauntlet match previously, managing to pin the World Heavyweight Champion in the first match and a former World Heavyweight Champion in the second match in Aiden English, as well as him making it to the final three in the Chamber after he and the eventual winner would start it, one has to believe that the losses are more indicative of his return than his victories seeing as he has yet to attain a Pay-Per-View victory since his return towards the end of last year. These and many more of this thoughts run in circles through Bryan's head as the sound of an unknown voice echo throughout the previously empty room, but despite its intentions, Bryan's head remains in his hands.

BRIAN!!!

The voice booms across the walls but it does little to improve the mood of Daniel Bryan as he's still got his head in his hands. He can't see the man who just called his name, but we most certainly can, and it's a suited and booted Cesaro who's just recently made his return to XWL within the last month or so with his only match to date since his return being a win over Curt Hawkins on an episode of Anarchy. Nonetheless he appears to be trying to get Daniel's attention to no avail, for what purpose? we do not know as of this moment.

(Cesaro)
So this is him huh??? THIS is the OH SO GREAT Daniel Bryan??? it's even worse than I thought. I thought it was just excessive pandering or your wife turning you into a full blown uncontrollable hippy or something, but THIS? this is much worse. Lemme tell you a story Daniel, I knew a man once, a great man, pride in his heart, wrestling in his blood, fire and desire flowing through his veins, he was by all accounts the PERFECT WRESTLER. He had everything you needed AND more to succeed in this business, was he a jacked roided out of his mind freak who was juiced to the gills 24/7 to put asses in seats and grace magazine covers for checks? HELL NO, he was a man's man, a through and through WRESTLER.

(Cesaro)
He didn't care about looks or popularity, he didn't crave attention or demand fame, he demanded EXCELLENCE out of himself EVERY SINGLE TIME he stepped foot in the ring, he took pride in his craft and took every opportunity he could to tweak it and improve it. He slept in cars, gym floors, he cleaned toilets and scraped by every single day on mere pennies, he drove hundreds of miles night after night to make just enough profit to put gas in the tank and order off Mcdonald's dollar menu to get by, but goddammit he did it, and he was ALL THE BETTER for that struggle that alot of these guys these days simply can't grasp because they're spoiled and coddled to no end and don't understand the hustle that me and guys like this guy I'm speaking of went through to pave the way for them to get these opportunities that they're getting nowadays. You know who that guy was Daniel? IT WAS YOU!!!

The stunning revelation causes Daniel Bryan to remove his head from his hands and look up at Cesaro still looking like a broken man, but he also displayed a look that signified that Cesaro's words may be affecting him in some way, could be going in one ear and out the other, or he could be taking it dead serious, maybe somewhere in between, if we were in Daniel's head we'd be able to answer but alas we're not, one thing's for sure tho, Daniel's at least hearing what Cesaro has to say at the very least right now.

(Cesaro)
It was the American Dragon Brian Danielson, and make no mistake about it, it WAS you, it's NOT YOU NOW, not even close, you don't even resemble the torn up boots that he used to lace up night after night to tear down houses and blow roofs off buildings with, matter of fact I don't really know who I'm looking at right now other then a pathetic, broken down, self loathing, and all around pitiful mess of a person right now. I see is a broken man who sold his soul for popularity and forgot who he truly was, you sold your passion for that ring, for PURE WRESTLING, you sold it for clicks, likes, and follows, and you lost yourself Daniel, and now it's beginning to seriously take a toll on your career, how much worse does it need to get for you to wake up and realize that?

(Cesaro)
The BRIAN DANIELSON that I knew? he would've unleashed his rage inside that sinister structure tonight when EVERYTHING was on the line, your livelihood, your career, your WORLD was up for grabs, and you know who left with your world? the same guy who entered with it, Drew McINTYRE. I knew the DRAGON that lived within you a long time ago, an American Dragon who BURNED any threats to him and his rule of the pro wrestling world with the fire that flowed through veins, and for some reason, when you sold your soul to focus on pandering to people night after night on your rise to superstardom? You killed the dragon. You killed the very thing that opened the very doors that got you to this stage in your career. The American Dragon made you a beloved indie darling, it made you a worldwide sensation as one of if not THEE best PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER in the world, and then you disposed of it for ONE WORD CHANTS and god awful T-shirts of said chants and now here you are, a shell of your former self, no killer instinct to be found. I'm here today to tell you to WAKE UP and smell the coffee or whatever you vegan's drink, you need to realize that you've become a damn robot, repeating the same cycle's over and over and getting nowhere as a result, you're numb to reality, and the reality is? Brian Danielson? "THE AMERICAN DRAGON"? he would've walked out of that chamber with the World Heavyweight Championship.

(Cesaro)
I care about the man I once knew, I called that man a BROTHER once, us indie guys? we had a brotherhood, and people like you sold that brotherhood for fame. Maybe that guy I once called a brother is still somewhere deep within you, then again maybe he's long gone, there's only one way to find out. You wanna keep this cycle going? You wanna keep spinning the wheels of irrelevance and constant disappointment? then you go right on ahead, and I'll keep walking the other direction and not spend a single ounce of my pity on you, but if you've had enough, if you feel it's time to awaken and make a change, then here's my number...

Cesaro extends his hand towards Daniel, it appears as though he's attempting to hand him some sort of business card, Bryan stares at it reluctantly for a few moments before slowly grabbing it.

(Cesaro)
Give me a call sometime, let's a have a chat in a more formal environment, if I don't receive a call, then my worst fears will be confirmed, the man I once called a friend, the man I once called a brother, is truly dead and gone....

Cesaro places his shades back over his eyes before walking off down the hall with a coffee in one hand and his luggage bag handle in the other. Daniel just stares at the card as he ponders his future and Downpour heads to a break.
