We're wasting no time getting Anarchy underway it appears as Ronda Rousey's theme begins to blast the moment the opening show pyro had finished. Ronda makes her way out onto the stage with her trademark smile with a hint of badassery thrown into it before making her way down the ramp and into the ring. She signals for a mic from ringside and receives one moments later, Ronda positions herself in the center of the ring as her theme dies down.
[Ronda Rousey] Roulette.... was something wasn't it? I once again showed the dominance I have over Liv Morgan. I had her running and crying for help. Not only did she result to using a weapon...Sasha Banks had to get involved. But by the fact, I'm standing here right now...by the fact I got up and walked out of that arena. They didn't finish the job. It took two of them, they threw me off a stage and I walked out of that arena. That proves I am something this division has never seen before. Being thrown off that stage wasn't enough to keep me down...I said from day one that I came here to be best. and I'm not going to stop until that happens. It doesn't matter what people do to me, I will keep getting back up. All my career I've proven that I can fight through any pain until I achieve what I want.
[Ronda Rousey] But I'm tired of playing games, I'm tired of this running away bullshit. I came here to be the best and to fight the best this division has to offer. From coming here, I've dealt with the bitches this division has to offer...now It's time for me to face the best. Now a division with two titles...I could call out Toni Storm. But with all due respect, what does that prove? What would it prove to beat someone who has to win one match in this company to call themselves champion? I need to prove myself against the best, and that only way to that is to become Womens Champion... Natalya has defended her championship for 5 months, she's beat every challenger and that is something I respect. She hasn't backed down from any fights.
[Ronda Rousey] But neither have I....I've stepped up to every challenge in my career. This is no different, There's going to be a lot of people who doubt me still. So here I am, Natalya...If you want a challenge...I'm right here.
In this moment, majority of the XWL Universe had probably expected the theme of the Women's Champion Natalya to hit, they were wrong, instead, the whole arena was shocked to hear the sound of a theme that hadn't played in an Anarchy arena for months now and that theme belonged to "Undeniable" Tessa Blanchard!!!
Tessa stepped through the curtain to a mixed reaction from the crowd, some members of the XWL Universe were happy to see Tessa resurface after all this time, others weren't as thrilled to see her as they remember what she did before she vanished from XWL TV, one of the last things we saw Tessa do was take out the Women's Champion Natalya months ago and stand over her posing with Nattie's Women's Title raised high above her head.
Tessa turns her back to the ring and the fans and executes her "Tessa" pose atop the stage to perfection before making her way down the ramp and towards the ring. She pays no mind to fans on either side of the aisle on the way down, her eyes are locked on Ronda Rousey the entire way. Tessa climbs the steps and enters the ring, she walks right past Rousey, coming mere inches away from brushing her shoulder against Ronda's which probably would've been a very bad move for the Undeniable one. Tessa calls for a mic from ringside and she immediately receives one, she struts right past Ronda once again, this time with a strut of confidence and sassiness almost. She turns to face Ronda and her theme gradually cuts off allowing her to speak in an XWL setting for the 1st time in months.
(Tessa Blanchard) Damn it's good to be back!!! Tessa invokes a mostly positive reaction from the XWL Universe by being excited about being back on Anarchy.
(Tessa Blanchard) It's so good to be back because sometimes in life, when you take a step back, when you step out of the firing line and stand on the outside looking in for a little bit? You realize JUST HOW DAMN GOOD YOU ARE!!!
And just like that some of Tessa's positive feedback from the XWL Universe has just evaporated, although some still cheer as they admire Tessa's confidence upon her return.
(Tessa Blanchard) Not just that, but you realize just how much a place like this NEEDS a REAL WOMAN like me around here to keep a BITCH LIKE THIS IN LINE AND PUT HER BACK IN HER PLACE!!!
The crowd immediately lets out an OHHHHHHH!!!!! as they take in the fire that Tessa just sent Ronda's way.
(Tessa Blanchard) I ain't gonna stand here and pander to all of you for sympathy, but I'll just say this about my sudden departure a few months ago, I was on the cusp of getting my chance to dethrone Natalya, I was right there ready to knock her off of her little pink maple leaf shaped throne, but life intervened, I had to go be a real woman and go take care of a member of my family who suffered a serious medical emergency, so trust me, me being on the outside looking in for awhile? it wasn't some arrogant choice I made to appease my ego, I didn't have a choice, but in life, you just gotta roll with the punches and in this case, all in all, I think my departure was the best thing that could've happened to me.
Tessa paces around in a mini circle as she continues.
(Tessa Blanchard) Because now, the thing is, all these "girls" running around backstage? they all have this false sense of fear of Natalya, they all think that she's some unbreakable, unbeatable queen of hearts, when in actuality, no ones truly unbreakable. We all have our weaknesses, she's not truly unbeatable, did ya see what I did to her the last time I was here? I'll say this though, maybe she is the queen of hearts, but guess what? that ain't gonna mean a damn thing when I rip your heart out and take your title Nattie. On another note, seems everyone wants to run around here sporting some card game nicknames, queen of hearts? queen of spades? I guess I'm the freaking queen of diamonds then, you however Ronda, you can be the JACK OF ASSES! for all I care.
Another OHHHHHHHHH!!!!! moment from the crowd as the look on Ronda's face intensifies.
(Tessa Blanchard) So here's the deal honey, you can stand there in your little leather jacket trying to play badass and attempt to intimidate me, but I wouldn't bother if I were you because your little "scare tactics"? they don't work on me. I don't like Nattie, but at least I can respect that she came from a wrestling family just like I did. We were born into this business, we're both third generation wrestlers, we're similar in alot of ways believe it or not, only major differences is she panders to these fans, the same ones who probably laughed her off like the joke she was for 8 years, and the other major difference is well, quite honestly, she's simply inferior to what's Undeniable, that's ME!
Tessa does a quick hair flip before inching even closer to Ronda as she speaks.
(Tessa Blanchard) And if she's inferior to me as a 3rd generation wrestler and a champion who's held that title for months on end now, then what the hell does that make you Ronda? I'll tell ya what it makes you, a joke!!! You're an outsider who joined this business because your little untouchable world in UFC land got shattered. And for someone who stands here and says that you always get up and keep going no matter what? I guess we're just forgetting about how you dropped off the face of the earth the moment someone exposed you for a good year or so, and then when you came back, you got exposed again, so what did you do? to salvage your brand, your name, your status, you decided to try and make a mockery of the wrestling world. You decided to step into OUR ring thinking you'd instantly dominate the professional wrestling world and all the females within it, I'm here to tell you that your little pipe dream of coming into this world, our world, the wrestling world, MY WORLD??? It ain't gonna happen sweetheart, not on my watch.
You could cut the tension with a knife right now as both of these women are sending death stares the other's way as they stand face to face.
(Tessa Blanchard) This is a wrestling ring, we ain't in no octagon, which means you're the amateur here, and I'm the third generation WRESTLER who's gonna put you in your place and give you a much needed humbling reality check. You wanna get to Natalya? You're gonna have to go through me, and I'm gonna warn you right now Ronda, I ain't no pushover like Liv Morgan and Sasha Banks, I'm the real deal sweet cheeks, and when our GM decides to put us in the ring to settle this eventually, I'm gonna knock you on your ass harder then Holly Holm did in Australia. I'm gonna use you for all you're good for, and that's you being my stepping stone to Natalya and the Women's Championship and that Ronda is UNDENIABLE!!!
Tessa drops the mic and winks at a clearly enraged but silent Ronda Rousey as she exits the ring. You can definitely get the feeling that when these 2 meet in the ring, Ronda is gonna look to tear Tessa Blanchard apart limb from limb, and if that does end up happening, you could very much make the argument that Tessa did it to herself, but at the same time, if you're in Tessa's shoes, what do you have to lose? Maybe everything, maybe nothing, I guess we'll find out soon enough as Tessa mocks Rousey on her up the ramp as Anarchy heads to it's 1st commercial break of the evening.

The match has come to it’s final bell, and both opponents are laid out on the canvas. Nia Jax sprawled out and Shayna recounting all the times in the match Nia had her in dire straits. Baszler begins to sit up and look at everyone around her, her arms now on her knees rested.
Shayna gets herself up to her feet and has a mild limp but yells at the referee to raise her hand, pointing to it. The Ace Of Spades took out The Irresistible Force by resisting the outcome she wanted. Her back arched and she begin to limp over to the ropes and reaches through it for a microphone, and then starts tapping it before turning it on.
Her hair covering half of her face, she smiles with her mouthpiece in it as the fans don’t receive her well much at all. Dismissing their opinions Shayna speaks into it with inflection.

Nia rolls out of the ring and Shayna dusts her feet off on the mat mocking her. Then turns straight into the camera and carefully lets these next words flow out.

A brief pause and some power is put behind this rant by Baszler, that smile gone with the wind.

Shayna slams the microphone down to the mat, and then does her Ace pose in the center of the ring as the camera focuses in on her fully. We fade out of this as we now have Toni Storm’s first challenger closing in on the title.

We go to a cell phone video of Kurt Angle in the back of a town car. he is in a basic neck brace. He looks lost in thought before facing the audience.
ANGLE 2 weeks ago, I put it all on the line. My blood, my sweat and my tears. It was a hell of a battle. but a battle i lost. It was a outcome I was not expecting. But, as much as it pains me to say it. The better man won in Scott Steiner. Also, another thing I was not expecting was this -points to neck-. I re injured my neck. I was able to convince my doctor to let me fill my obligation tonight to wrestle Aliester Black. However it is with great sadness, that next week on Anarchy i will officially announce my in ring retirement. Thank you.

[Corey Graves] Nikki Cross says she's absolutely fearless, but to show fear you first have to show some sort of sanity...which Nikki Cross lost a long, long time ago.
Nikki demands a microphone before taking a seat in the middle of the ring, looking into the hard cam as she begins to speak.
[Nikki Cross] Hehehehe....that was quite cute last week. Wrapping me up in a bunch of plants! Well...lucky for you? Sometimes I do tend to enjoy tying a girl up. All you had to do was ask!
Ever the one for mind games, Cross smirks into the camera as she continues talking.
[Nikki Cross] But the thing is, you have what I want...so if you want to tie me up? If you want to entangle yourself in my business? You damn well better tell me where April is after I'm done kicking your ass from here to St. Louis and back again...so get your ass out here and take the ass-kicking that you've been craving for so, so long now. [Corey Graves] I KNEW IT! PEYTON ROYCE IS BACK, THE VENUS FLYTRAP IS BACK IN XWL WHERE SHE BELONGS! What a fantastic homecoming!
[Mauro Ranallo] We all know Nikki Cross was looking for answers, but I'm not sure this one is going to end very well for the Sinister Scot. As we know from Peyton's past run here in XWL, she can be one of the sneakiest, most dangerous, and by far most venomous of anyone on the roster, male OR female!
With the Venus Flytrap out of the bag, the returning Peyton Royce finally makes her presence known in XWL once again. The crowd stands to their feet and oddly enough, they cheer the categorical villain. Perhaps it is simply that she comes off as the lesser of two evils, or perhaps it's the novelty of her rivalry with the missing Sister April, but nonetheless the crowd nearly blow the roof off of the joint with how excited they seem to be at the return of the Venus Flytrap. After the repeated signs and hints at Nikki Cross's expense over the last month, it suddenly comes full circle as all becomes clear. Only one woman is capable of this kind of mischief, and we know her by many names. The Venus Flytrap, Poison Ivy, the Vixen of the Vine, Mother Nature's Favorite Daughter, Peyton Royce. Peyton finally struts out of the curtain, looking absolutely better and more sultry than ever. The root of Nikki's torment blows her a subtle kiss as she descends from the stage.
[Corey Graves] Color me hypnotized, Mauro! Peyton Royce is back and looks better than we've ever seen her!
[Mauro Ranallo] Well we know she's got you under her spell, Corey, but the question now is: what has she done with the former Women's Champion, April?
The Venus Flytrap is all smiles while she makes her descent, but one thing is off with this picture.. Peyton isn't wearing ring gear. In fact, she's in 6 inch high heels. An awfully peculiar attire for one who's prepared for a fight. Unless of course, Royce has a different plan in mind, and as we all know by now, Peyton Royce always has a plan. She continues down the ramp before suddenly slowing to a stop dead in her tracks, her Colgate smile falling perfectly flat as she narrows her eyes at Nikki and gestures for a mic.
Peyton holds her hand out patiently, keeping her poisonous gaze locked onto Nikki until a referee runs up the remainder of the ramp and swiftly places a microphone into Peyton's grip before retreating back to ringside.
[Peyton Royce] Careful, Nikki, this isn't your game anymore.. I didn't bloom out of retirement just to play with some silly little Scottish pig. Of course not, I came here on much more crucial and sinister unfinished business. It was more than a year ago that I was sent to XWL to purify the women's division of an unnatural darkness that you seem to have grown so fond of.. "April," as you affectionately like to call her, was the root of every issue that plagued this division. I was doing a service to Nature and to all of you when I came here to do what no one else would. It might have taken some time, but I finally got my thorns in her, and I'm proud to say that your precious little "Sister April," that bayou abomination, is no more.
[Mauro Ranallo] What?!? How can she just eliminate one of the most dominant forces in XWL history? Is that even possible??
[Corey Graves] Of course it's possible, Mauro! Have you forgotten about the even GREATER force of Nature at work here? Peyton has repeated time and time again in the past that she would be the demise of Sister April and her darkness, and it sounds to me like the prophecy finally came true!
[Peyton Royce] The time has passed for you and everyone else who like to doubt Mother Nature's capabilities. As I told "April" last year, life will always find a way.. Now I know this all seems a bit cryptic and confusing for that sporadic squirrel brain but before you go getting all hot and bothered again because I know that you are just DYING to get your filthy hands on me, unfortunately for you Nikki, you're going to have to wait a little bit longer.. Tonight, I'm clearly not going to fight you. Instead, I thought it would be much more entertaining for this little game of ours if you faced off against the one person you THINK you used to love!.. So, without any further adieu, please welcome BACK to XWL.. The purified, AJ Lee.
[Mauro Ranallo] She can't be serious, you don't think-..
[Corey Graves] I'm certainly not one to call Peyton Royce on a bluff, so I wouldn't be surprised if she-
[Mauro Ranallo] Oh....oh my god...
[Corey Graves] What!? It's true?!
[Mauro Ranallo] What the hell is going on here!?
[Corey Graves] What’s going on here is Peyton Royce has outplayed Nikki Cross in this twisted battle of mind games!
[Mauro Ranallo] Mother Nature's Favorite Daughter is back with a vengeance, and she has her sights set on making Nikki Cross's life a living hell!
[Corey Graves] Yeah, and by turning Apr-...well, AJ Lee, the woman Nikki Cross loves, the woman who Peyton once tried to poison into her ally in this wicked war of mind games!
Nikki Cross stands jaw agape as AJ Lee slowly makes her way down to the ring, tentatively entering the ring. Nikki Cross appears to be in some type of strange trance as she stands in the corner opposite of AJ, eyes wide as she looks at the woman who Peyton claims was "cured" and the woman who Nikki Cross has been in love with for nearly a year.
The bell sounds as AJ Lee approaches the center of the ring, expecting Nikki to join her, only to look perplexed as Nikki Cross drops to her back and rolls out of the ring, sitting down on the mats outside. The referee attempts to get Nikki to participate in the match, counting until eight before AJ Lee slides outside, slapping Nikki Cross across the face.
This show of disrespect seems to wake Nikki Cross up as she immediately tackles AJ onto the mat, firing off forearm smashes to the side of AJ's head. Yanking her up to her feet by her hair before bouncing her former love interest's face off the announce table, then ramming her back-first into the apron.
AJ cries out in pain, holding her back while Nikki Cross uses her psychotic mind to innovate her own brand of violent offense, tying AJ's arms up between the middle and bottom ropes before blitzing the former Women's Champion with multiple forearms to the chest. The referee immediately tries to restrain Nikki while AJ attempts to free herself from the binding she suffered within the ropes.
After getting herself freed, the former champion has no time to rest as Nikki Cross rolls her into the ring, hammering away with right hands on the mat. Dazed, AJ finally uses both feet to kick Nikki Cross away while scrambling towards the ropes in an attempt to get back to her feet. As she turns around, Nikki Cross immediately boots her in the gut and drops her with a vicious DDT, spiking AJ on the top of her head! Nikki Cross covers her former crush, but yanks her shoulder up as the ref's hand comes down for three.
[Mauro Ranallo] Ever since that slap to the face, Nikki Cross has been like a wild animal in that ring, even if the woman she's facing is the woman who she loved!
[Corey Graves] I don't think Nikki Cross sees AJ Lee as "her beloved April" anymore, Mauro. I think she just sees AJ as just another opponent she has to dispatch on her way to the top.
Nikki lets out a psychotic laugh as she lifts AJ's dazed, lifeless body up to her feet. Tilting her head, Nikki wraps her arms around her former crush, planting a sloppy, wet liplock on her. Continuing to embrace AJ Lee in a rather disturbing showing of affection before suddenly locking AJ in position, driving her down with her Fisherman's Neckbreaker! However, Cross isn't done there, clutching AJ in the same position while rolling back onto her feet, connecting with a second, repeating the process before hitting her with a third! Nikki mercifully drops into the cover on her former love, collecting a three count and a victory.
[Mauro Ranallo] Well...I think it's safe to say that Nikki Cross has officially purged the former Sister April out of her life for good. And now? I think her targets are solely on destroying Peyton Roy-
Before Nikki even has the opportunity to rise to her knees after the pinfall, Peyton enters the ring and strikes Nikki Cross on the back of the neck with the heel of her shoe!
[Mauro Ranallo] Woah, WOAH! Peyton Royce has entered the ring and is going right after Nikki Cross!
[Corey Graves] It's never wise to let your guard down around a Venus Flytrap, even if you are as unhinged and unsettled as Nikki Cross!
Peyton keeps Nikki pinned to the mat by the back of her neck, continuing to utilize the 6 inch heel of her shoe as a weapon as she stands over Cross and watches her body squirming beneath her foot.
[Peyton Royce] Why won't you just STAY, DOWN! THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU!
Royce plunges her heel harder down onto the top of Cross's spinal column, prompting Nikki to cry out in blissful agony. Royce finally lifts her foot off of the back of Nikki Cross just long enough to punt her in the side of the head! This effectively knocks Nikki Cross's lights out momentarily. Peyton takes this time to stride around Nikki's body, eyeing the fans with her deadly glare as she circles her prey before bending down and yanking Nikki Cross up to her feet. At this time, she places her back against Nikki's and reaches back, locking her hands around her victim's neck before hiking her up and dropping her down into the Widow's Peak! Nikki's knees hit the mat hard as her already damaged neck snaps back off of Peyton's shoulder and she proceeds to fall flat on her face next to AJ. Royce gracefully stands to her feet and dusts her shoulders off, looking down at the pair in disgust before exiting the ring. The screen then fades out as we head to a much needed commercial break.

When the show returns from its commercial break, a video package begins to play, showing the events of last week, when Seth Rollins took to the ring to call out his mystery attacker. Just like the time at roulette, the lights went out, and Seth was attacked from behind with a weapon. The attack didn’t end there, as the mystery man took it upon himself to end Rollins’ career, wrapping a chair around his neck, and preparing to leap off the top turnbuckle, to break his neck.. But before he can jump down, he’s shoved to the canvas by a member of the audience who jumped the barricade. The young man chases off Rollins attacker and helps him to his feet, before being forcibly dragged out of the arena in handcuffs by Drake Maverick and his security team as a confused Seth looks on.

Mauro Ranello Hold that thought Corey, apparently while running that video package, we just missed something backstage, and I think you’re going to want to see this. Take a look what happened just moments ago.
The camera swaps to backstage, we see the young man from last week, accompanied by two smartly dressed men.
Smartly Dressed Man #1 We’ve gone over this a million times already, but let me just say it one more time and this time really try to listen. In any normal circumstance, you wouldn’t even be here right now, you understand that don’t you? You’d be locked up in a dark little cell waiting to be charged with assault. Frankly, I honestly don’t have a clue why you’re not. The evidence against you is astounding, there’s just no defence for assault when it’s broadcast on National TV. Now, I’m not entirely sure why Mr, Layfeild has invited us here tonight, but you need to be on your best behaviour, one misstep, one wrong word, and you could be on your way back to that same cell. If he wants you to pay a fine, you pay it, if he wants you to crawl on all fours and bark like a dog, you’ll do it. Do you understand?
The young man rolls his eyes, much to the annoyance of the smart men.

The young man snickers, which once again annoys the two men with him.
Young Man Listen guys, as much as appreciate the pep talk, which by the way, you’re both incredibly horrible at the whole motivation thing, but I have no intention of barking like a dog. I still believe that what I did last week was the right thing, and although my family may not be willing to see that yet, I’m sure all those people out there do. I saved a man who I’ve always looked up to from the beating of his life, so I don’t care what the consequences are, because if I could do it all over again, I would.
The second man shakes his head in disapproval, but the first can no longer control his temper.

The young man turns to face the two smartly dressed men.
Young Man Hey, hey, come on now guys, is that any way to speak to an official? I should have your tongues! Whether you like it or not, you work for me, and all it’ll take is one phone call and you’ll both be out on your asses. So how about you both just go find something to entertain yourselves and leave the real talk to the mature people in this room?
The two men scowl at the younger one, and reluctantly, make their way out of the room, making sure to slam the door on their way out.
Young Man I promise you, I’m not really like that. You know, the whole I should have your tongues thing? Honestly, I’m not even sure where it came from, maybe an episode of downtown abbey… or maybe it was game of thrones? I mean there must have been in a scene in there somewhere with those words right?
The young man waits, but it seems like the woman has no idea how to respond.
Young Man I’m sorry, was I rambling? I tend to do that a lot. Anyway, you were about to say something, what does good old JBL have in store for me?
The lady looks almost excited as she prepares to deliver the news.
Lady with Mic Well, Mr… Sorry, I didn’t catch your name.

Lady with Mic Well Tyler, I wasn’t sure how I felt about this, but after meeting you, I’m actually ecstatic to be the one to get to tell you this… By the order of the board of directors, and the general manager John Bradshaw Layfield, I’m pleased to announce, that you have been offered a talent contract with XWL!
Tyler can barely believe his ears, his whole life he’s dreamed of this moment, could it actually be happening? He can barely hold his excitement.
Lady with Mic Hold on, I’m not finished yet… You will be offered this contact, and Mr. Layfield himself will officiate the signing, under one condition..
Young Man (Also known as Tyler) Lay it on me, I’ll do anything to get that contract!
Lady with Mic You’ll be competing tonight in a match against an opponent hand picked by Mr. L:ayfield himself. And the winner of that match, will receive the contract.
First he’s offered a contract with XWL, and now he gets to compete and show off his talents in the ring. If Tyler was excited before, he’s ecstatic now. With a big smile on his face, he grabs the lady’s face and plants a kiss on her forehead, before joyfully skipping out of the room, leaving her lost for words as we return to ringside.

Mauro Ranello Calm down Corey, you’ll burst a blood vessel. Besides, he hast to earn the opportunity tonight, and I honestly hope he’s victorious, because this show could use someone like this young man.
Corey Graves There’s no way JBL would issue this contract without having some kind of plan in mind to pay this thug back for his actions last week, I just refuse to believe it.

What a kickout by Ronda Rousey!
The mixture of shock and disbelief is clearly etched on the face of The Pirate Princess, almost unable to process the feat that has been accomplished before her. Kairi's hands come up to her face, unsure of how to put away Ronda Rousey now that she's kicked out of her trademark maneuver, a maneuver that has won her many a match since her debut over a month ago. Still in a seated position, she turns her attention towards the referee of this match, extending her arms and asking if it was in fact a kickout. The referee motions that it was a kickout but Sane's attention is quickly removed from the official and is instead shifted towards the person who still has some fight left in her: A downed Ronda Rousey. Despite laying back first on the canvas, Ronda takes a hold of Kairi's extended arm, tightly wrapping her grip around it and doing her best to force The Pirate Princess' arm backwards and into prime position for whatever she has in mind.
Sheer panic and desperation fills Kairi's face, replacing the previous emotions, as she tries to do anything, everything within her power to either force her way out of it or avoid it entirely. Unfortunately for her, Rousey has done a masterful job of inflicting punishment upon Kairi's right arm, both to soften the blow from her signature InSane Elbow as well as for her own submission finishing maneuver. Giving Kairi the illusion of choice, Ronda flips The Pirate Princess backwards with relative ease, especially with the weakened arm giving minor resistance at best, and quickly locks in her infamous Armbar, causing Kairi to momentarily contemplate fighting through the pain but that quickly becomes a mistake as she rapidly taps shortly after.
Ronda's theme blasts throughout the arena, causing her to release her submission and make her way to her feet, getting her arm raised into the air as the victor of this contest. Absorbing the cheering emanating from the live audience in attendance, she takes a few moments to gaze out into the crowd before making her way out of the ring and up the ramp, slapping the hands of the nearby members of the XWL Universe, ultimately disappearing behind the curtain. Inside the ring, Kairi is carefully helped towards the side of the ring closest to the timekeeper's area, seated on the apron as medical personnel check on the severity of her possible injury after enduring Ronda's Armbar, even if it was brief. A slight hush falls over the arena as Sane is examined, words being exchanged between the doctor and The Pirate Princess momentarily before the near perfect silence change into loud boos, but who are they directed at?
Moments later, the cause of the sudden rain of vitriol is revealed as Ruby Riott rushes past the doctors, immediately mounting Kairi Sane and pummeling the injured Pirate Princess with vicious right hands! Doctors and XWL officials attempt to pull Ruby away to no avail, the "Voice of Anarchy" simply doing what she does best: causing as much chaos as she can. With them unable to stop Ruby Riott's vicious assault, officials are helpless to save Kairi Sane from this further punishment!
[Mauro Ranallo] Someone has to stop this!
[Corey Graves] Ruby Riott is hellbent on making Kairi Sane regret sticking her nose in business that didn't concern her.
Suddenly the theme belonging to none other than Alexa Bliss cuts through the boos and sends the fans into a reaction that Alexa's theme has never brought about before....CHEERS. Little Miss Bliss rushes out from behind the curtain and starts to dart down the ramp, coming to the aid of The Woman that came to hers last week.
[Mauro Ranallo] Alexa Bliss is coming to Kairi's rescue!
[Corey Graves] What in the world? Why?
[Mauro Ranallo] Why? Have you been completely blind to what's happened lately? Ruby's been targeting Alexa the same way she's trying to target Kairi right now, and Alexa may have been powerless to save herself...but like many people when it's about to happen to someone else, you find the strength you never knew you had.
The cheers continue as Alexa, very uncharacteristically runs down the ramp, rushing into the ring to stop Ruby...but as she slides in...and Ruby's gaze shifts away from Kairi, and to Alexa...suddenly, Alexa's heroic confidence completely deteriorates. Her stance softens, her eyes widen, this seemed like something she could do when she started running down the ramp, but now that she's face to face with The Woman that's terrorized her for nearly a month now...it's as if she's going back to when it all began at Roulette...frozen in fear.
[Mauro Ranallo] Oh no...
[Corey Graves] That's why you don't try to play the hero if you can't even save yourself.
[Mauro Ranallo] Well she had to try, Corey. Kairi didn't stand by and let Alexa suffer Ruby's wrath last week, Alexa seems to feel obligated to try and repay that bravery.
[Corey Graves] I get it, but when has Alexa ever been the "hero?" She's all confused right now we've all seen it...this isn't The Alexa Bliss we know, and Ruby has a hold on her. What she did, not only exposed Alexa's deep dark past...she destroyed The Alexa Bliss that was known for her five feet of fury.
Ruby inches closer, mockingly letting out a pout as she soon breaks into laughter over how quickly Alexa lost her fighting spirit. "What's the matter? Are you afraid? Is The Big Bad Bully making you feel like a scared little girl?" Alexa doesn't respond, or even change her expression, she's powerless...and unfortunately she's now delivered herself to Ruby, and what's about to happen surely won't be pretty...Ruby takes a dramatic step forward, as Alexa winces, shaking as Ruby gets closer and closer...filling her with discomfort the likes of which we can only imagine.
The XWL fans try to do the age old trick of rallying behind a Superstar to give them the courage and fight they need...but as the growing "ALEXA!" chant gains traction, it's ultimately no use, Alexa is too spellbound by her fear to hear them. And as Ruby stands there amused by their support for a Woman they supposedly despised she looks back to Alexa and says "Go on, they're rooting for you...hit me." while sticking her chin out, pointing to it as if offering Alexa Bliss a free shot at the cause of her anguish the past number of weeks.
[Mauro Ranallo] Ruby's just toying with her at this point.
[Corey Graves] I don't like this either but if you can't defend yourself then this is what happens.
[Mauro Ranallo] That's a little tone deaf don't you think? The power a bully has over their victim is crippling.
[Corey Graves] But it's so simple to stop it, just stop them.
[Mauro Ranallo] If only it were that simple...
Kairi slowly staggers to her feet, Ruby's back turned towards The Pirate Princess as she looks out towards the crowd cheering for both her and Alexa Bliss. Kairi ricochets off the ropes, charging towards Ruby for her trademark Interceptor spear, but Ruby is able to see Kairi coming! Miraculously for her, she grabs Alexa and practically heaves her into harms way, turning the former Little Miss Bliss into a human shield as Kairi accidentally nearly spears Alexa in half with her bad arm! Kairi cries out and holds her arm while Alexa clutches her ribs, both women down while Ruby Riott is the last one standing.
[Corey Graves] After saving her from being further injured by Ruby Riott, that's the thanks that Alexa Bliss gets!? An Interceptor that could've broken her ribs!?
[Mauro Ranallo] It seems pretty obvious to me that it was an accident, Corey...
[Corey Graves] It's a good thing you wear glasses, Mauro, because if you didn't see that coming, you need to write an angry letter to your optometrist! I have 20/15 vision, and it's clear to me that this was Kairi's plan all along! With friends like Kairi, who needs enemies!?
Ruby quickly rolls out of the ring and backs up onto the entrance ramp, wagging her finger and shaking her head with a confident smirk on her lips. However, as Ruby mocks both Kairi and Alexa...
Nia Jax has a predatory smile on her lips as she storms past Ruby, who looks on with a mixture of both confusion and...slightly being impressed by the stature of the "Force of Greatness." Meanwhile, Nia marches into the ring with a strut filled with purpose. However, as soon as she gets in the ring, the massive Samoan has a scowl on her face before she flattens a downed Kairi Sane with a monstrous leg drop! As boos rain down on Nia Jax, she rises back to her feet before practically yanking Alexa by the arm back up to her own two feet. Still clutching her ribs, a very confused Alexa tries to ask Nia what the hell just happened but Nia simply smiles that same predatory smile while gazing towards Ruby Riott, who also has a smirk on her face.
[Corey Graves] We thought Ruby Riott was the only one around here causing chaos in the Women's Division, but we might have forgotten about Nia Jax! If Nia's trying to get involved? Ruby Riott and Kairi Sane both have trouble coming their way. And change of heart from Alexa or not, when it comes to the Irre-bliss-tible Force? Nia and Alexa have proven that they will leave nothing but scorched earth in her wake.

The fans erupt in cheers as Becky Lynch makes her way onto the ramp, she seems to have a scowl on her face which is understandable after being attacked from behind last week by none other than Beth Pheonix. Becky has a mic in her hand as she b lines for the ring.
Corey Graves Becky doesn't look very happy tonight.
Mauro Ranallo Would you be happy if you were attacked from behind after a match Corey?
Corey Graves No Mauro, I wouldn't. I'd be prepared for anything just like Becky should've, Beth and Vickie made it clear they were out for anyone and everyone.
Becky climbs the steps and enters the ring. She takes a moment and stares out into the XWL crowd before lifting the mic up to her mouth.
Becky Lynch Last week I was in one hell-uv-a fight and came out on top by making the XWL Women's Money in the Bank holder tap out when I tried to take her arm for a trophy, but then after my match this coward Beth Pheonix decided to attack me to try and "make a statement". Now I wouldn't be so angry for just that but something that her handler said got to me...
Becky Lynch She told me to know my place...Now that's just funny to me, who the hell is she to tell me to know my place? I've made a name for myself all over the world while Vicki has been doing nothin' but luring some poor drunk bastards to her lair to try and get a little somethin' somethin'. Shortly after an advertisement promoting next week's Special Christmas edition of Anarchy...we cut somewhere backstage where none other than our NEW Intercontinental Champion Matt Sydal who successfully defeated Eli Drake, Pete Dunne, and Drew McIntyre at Roulette is staring straight into a camera.
[Matt Sydal] Typically, right about now a Champion such as myself would be interviewed by one of the many talented backstage corespondents that inhabit these halls...but I guess I'm not exactly someone that our dear General Manager wants to give that kind of platform to. But hey, that's okay...all I need is myself, this lovely Intercontinental Title, and a camera to get my voice to the masses that have tuned in for their weekly dose of..."WHY IS JBL STILL OUR BOSS? DOES VINCE EVEN WATCH THE SHOW ANYMORE?"
He allows the long title to be digested before continuing on.
[Matt Sydal] It's a working title, but I think it gets the point across, right? There's always "JBL SUCKS" but that's a bit cliche. For tonight's debut edition we talk about the travesty that is John Bradshaw Layfield's "regime." The fact that he only got this job because I whooped his ass so hard, it's literally the only thing he can do, and he can't even do it well. It's time to hang up the boots, and put the wheel chair in park, maybe in front of a nice beach front property?
[Matt Sydal] I'll personally pay for everything myself if it means we can finally be free of thee once and for all. I mean as previously mentioned in the title of this little segment. Does Vince McMahon even watch Anarchy? Does he tune in for our Pay-Per-Views? Is he blind to the fact that JBL at the last minute decided to The Intercontinental Championship Match at Roulette into a Fatal Four Way...and it so happens to land on his "chosen one?" The very same "chosen one" that he tried to rig the votes to put against Eli at Cyberslam? I get Vince allowed his daughter to dedicate the entire build of Final Stand at one point to the demise of one Superstar, but I thought those days were over? Whatever happened to a GM that just minds their business? Why does JBL need to insert himself in every situation? Why does he need to keep dragging the dead and decapitated horse with one of it's legs halfway attached that is The Cabinet around as if it's still a thing? Sorry it took failing your cash-in to find out JBL DOES pick favorites Carmella, but hey look at the bright side...at least virtually no one even acknowledges you were apart of The Cabinet, and that makes you the real winner.
[Matt Sydal] Like honestly, John? Is it so hard for you to just take a step back and I don't know, be a decent human being? You had a golden opportunity to become General Manager, you know because you're a scumbag that had to go and pull the same shit with Layla that you did with me...and Vince still being a pushover to the likes of you caved and gave you that fancy new position. But you could have stopped there, you could have simply taken it as a fresh start, and have a whole new lease on life. But instead, you bring corruption back to this show...and suddenly...we're all kind of secretly feeling disgusted with ourselves because it makes us miss The Authority! I mean sure Hunter and Stephanie were bad...like, REALLY bad...especially in the end, but they had a charm about themselves. You hated them, like REALLY hated them...but unless your name was Dean Ambrose they really weren't THAT bad.
[Matt Sydal] But here's what's funny about your corrupt leadership...IT'S AN UTTER FAILURE! Because despite positioning your boy Drew to swoop in and take this title, not once...but twice...HE'S NOT THE ONE STANDING HERE AS THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION! No, the man you despise more than anything else in this world, the man that put you in that wheelchair, the man that helped destroy The Cabinet on the grandest stage of them all is the one with the gold, while Drew's just busy collecting L's as you try to sweep them under the rug and present EVEN MORE opportunity his way. Ultimately it doesn't matter who you put across from me in that ring? Radiating intensity, he stares into the cameras as if he were looking directly into JBL's eyes...and you can see the determination in his gaze. His eyes remain locked on the lens of the camera, as if he's letting his words sink in before continuing, but...before he can continue... Eli Drake walks into frame, and looks at Matt Sydal, and then the title.
[The Elite Superstar of XWL Eli Drake] Hey Matt. I came over for two things one to apologize for last week. My rage couldn't be contained, and I wanted to get hands on Drew.. I hate how he keeps getting thrown into a match of the year candidate, but here goes JBL throwing his nose into this. Trying to shine up his boy, but the sad fact in reality for Mr. JBL he picked a loser to try, and carry to the top. Luckily he doesn't stand a chance against guys like me, and you Matt! Now the second reason... I wanna say congratulations for being one of the few man that can stand toe to toe with me in a ring. You took that title from me, but I know you wouldn't lower the standards of the title, but you better believe that I am not gonna go quietly without one less fight for the belt...
Eli chuckles to himself as he looks at Matt for a response
[Matt Sydal] Hey, if you wanna be beaten by me for a third time...who am I to deny you that? John can try to drum up this interest in Drew facing me, or whoever facing me, but the fact remains as the former holder of this title, as The Superstar that tried to make this mean something during his reign, you are owed and you deserve an opportunity to try and take it back. Keyword of course being "try" because I beat you when this wasn't on the line, and I beat you when it was...so if you think you're going to pry this out of the hands of The Greatest Gold Damn Superstar in this company? You're going to be coming down with a case of dejavu when the same thing happens that happened the last two times.
Matt looks to his title with a smirk as Eli just nods and listens waiting for his moment to respond.
[Matt Sydal] But see, you've earned that right...if you want to be the first of many to fall to my reign? Who is JBL to stand in the way of that? I want to face the best, and the fact of this beautiful life as Champion is this, you are among the best. I can't say the same thing about Drew, so while I would have loved to beat him last week, and I would have...I get why you came out there, and I commend you for sticking up for yourself and telling JBL you will not be passed over. And tonight when you beat The "Chosen One" You'll be the only one left that should face me, so I'd like to see JBL try and say otherwise.
[The Elite Superstar of XWL Eli Drake] Thank you, Matt. I appreciate your thoughts on me sticking up for myself, but when we cross paths again. I plan on the outcome being very different from our last two encounters. I can agree that you are one of the best XWL has to offer, and I am not gonna take that away from you, but what I will take back is the Intercontinental title. I mean you did have it the easiest in the match at Roulette. You had a partner while I was surrounded by people who were out to get me. I had it the hardest in the match, and you know what I am damn proud of how far I came in that match. Even though I fell short. I am still proud of what I did. I stood up to The Undisputed Era like no one has, and fought back as hard as I could. Only to eliminate Pete Dunne which you let happen, and that showed me you have the same respect for me, and that belt as much as I do. I think you are one of the few people I can trust as everyone showed their true colors once I became champion. So thank you Matt for remaining the same guy that I met backstage two years ago telling me I had potential, and I have come a long way haven't I?
Eli looks upon Matt with a slight smile.
[Matt Sydal] Indeed you have, good luck out there tonight...show Drew what it means to be ELITE.
The two share one final nod to one another before Eli heads off, leaving Matt to return his focus back to the camera.
[Matt Sydal] Tonight I myself have an interesting match ahead, a Champion versus Champion Match that isn't your typical "let's throw Champions against one another because EXCITEMENT." No, as the dawn of a new year is upon, tonight we go back to how 2018 began. When on the very first Anarchy of this year, I was apart of the opening contest with none other than Jeff Hardy. We had a classic, we escaped from our own little reality of hell and just dove into why we're apart of this business, THE WRESTLING. Competing, throwing the best you have at someone and facing their best right back. He was dealing with family drama, I was dealing with a jackass that tried to use me for relevancy...and you know, it felt like a great start...a new beginning that could put the recent stuff behind me. And emerging from that match as the winner? Gave me a reminder of who I am and why I am THE BEST.
He pauses, because while he won that match, all commentary or the interviewer that approached him in the ring after could talk about was JBL becoming The New Elite Champion.
[Matt Sydal] But that match proved to be meaningless, because as I for one moment felt like 2018 would be my year...it was just another reminder of why it wouldn't be, why I had lost myself, why I felt hopeless when I wasn't inside that ring. 2018 began terribly for me, I walked out of this company that night, literally an hour after that match I told Layla, Vince, and everyone that tried to stop me that I was sick of that asshole and if they wouldn't stand up for me then they deserved him. I was in a bad place, I felt like nothing I did mattered...that I was coasting along trying to find a solution when there wasn't one. Revisiting this match tonight is a chance to forget how my year began, and appreciate how it is going to end. I stand here Intercontinental Champion, as THE GOLDEN ONE...again...it's time to do what I do best, and that's beat...THE BEST.
As Sydal finishes the statement he gives the camera one last beautiful look with that cocky smile that has been gone for far too long. As he does so, it fades into a moment of disbelief followed with the camera tumbling over and a ruckus overtaking the audio. The camera bounces off of the ground as we see Sydal coming down right behind it. Sprawled eagle onto the concrete, Sydal lays, title laid off to the side of him. Standing next to him, all we see is a pair of boots. The figure in question kneels down next to the unconcious Sydal causing the crowd to erupt in a volley of boos.
"You know, it's funny..."
Drew McIntyre chuckles to himself for a moment, eyes locked onto Sydal.
[Drew McIntyre] Gold, is one of the weakest metals found on the planet. But, it does make sense for you, Sydal. It does indeed make sense for you. You and Drake have this ego about both of you and honestly it's getting old to me. You both seem to think that my respect for JBL has anything to do with what's happening to both of you but my boot has hit your face, several times now, no thanks to him. But hey, whatever helps you both sleep at night.
McIntyre stands up, his upper body moving outside of the camera. The entire scene kind of on it's side in a very interesting manner as Drew scoops Sydal up off the concrete and throws him over his shoulder. He takes a few steps away from the camera so his body is fully in frame as he steps up to an equipment box. He lifts the lid up on it and tosses Sydal in, almost lazily. He closes it, latching it closed and looking around. Apparently someone catches his eye as he shouts to someone off camera.
[Drew McIntyre] Hey! You! Bring me a lock! Aye! A lock and key, moron! Quickly before you end up like him!
Noise of someone scampering off can be heard before Drew jumps up onto the box, taking a seat as he awaits the lock he ordered.
[Drew McIntyre] You know, I like our little chats Matt. They tend to be very interesting. Of course, you don't seem to talk much but I guess it's the intimadation. Then again, what could ever intimidate the golden ticket of XWL. The heart and soul of this company. The staple, of XWL's legacy!
A few knocks can be heard as Sydal has come to in thebox, kicking the top of it, with no effect as McIntyre sits comfortably on top of it.
[Drew McIntyre] You see, Sydal, I'm not in this for Layfield. I'm in this for me. I'm in this to make your life, a living hell, and take that championship for my own. I'm in this to put XWL on notice, and cut out the laziness of superstars like you! Kick all you want buddy, it ain't moving! I'm here to fix this company and put it back on track. To finish the work of those that built this company from the ground up. Some would even argue that's your work, Matt. It makes no difference to me. You've become an obstacle and a hinderance to my work. So now, I'll make you a martyr. It's all the same to me. Ah, there he is!
The random backstage worker appears into screen now, handing over a lock along with a key. And, to Drew's surprise, a chain.
[Drew McIntyre] Aw, now you're just sucking up.
McIntyre, nudges the chain back to the worker who in turn takes it and wraps it around the box, meeting both ends back to McIntyre. Drew smiles, taking them and latching the lock on them before jumping off the box. He pats it, laughing to himself as the kicking and yelling inside grows more vibrant.
[Drew McIntyre] Now you let me know when you want to beat the best as you said, and I'll come running bud. Till then, enjoy your night from the best seat in the house.
McIntyre takes the key in hand as he chuckles, walking out of frame with it as the backstage worker looks sheepishly at the box, unable to help Sydal now as McIntyre disappears into oblivion with seemingly his only way of escape in hand.

The building erupts with excitement and love as the theme of none other than our Women's Champion Natalya sounds throughout the arena. Fans are extra supportive tonight due to the incredible showing she had on last week's episode in The Main-Event. Unfortunately the antics of Sasha Banks and her best friend Liv Morgan spoiled what was an amazing Champion Vs Champion Match...but what happened after, was the proverbial bell being rung to signal the end of Natalya's dominant reign when Miss Money In The Bank Carmella ran down the ramp to cash in. Natalya somehow had it in her to kick out of a Superkick, and when Carmella went for the well once more...Natalya caught her foot, and locked in The Sharpshooter which saw a struggle that spanned for minutes. Carmella refusing to give up, Natalya unable to apply as much pressure as normal, until Natalya gave one last ditch effort to retain by transitioning into the bridged variation of The Sharpshooter and Carmella was left with no choice but to tap. It's not long before The Queen Of Harts herself steps out from the back witth The Women's Title proudly over her shoulder.
[Mauro Ranallo] There she is, one of the most dominant Champions we have ever seen in XWL, Male or Female.
[Corey Graves] I still am in awe of her performance last week, every time I think she's proven her merit as Champion, she somehow exceeds it and proves how deserving she truly is to carry that title. I'm heartbroken for Carmella, but I've gotta give Natalya credit for something I didn't believe she could do.
[Mauro Ranallo] Natalya won The Women's Championship from Ruby Riott who of course gained possession of that title because of Money In The Bank, a contract she cashed in on then dominant Women's Champion April on the very first Anarchy of 2018. I think it was hard to imagine history not repeating itself.
[Corey Graves] When someone fails for as long as 2,945 days...you automatically assume they surely can't build much of a reign if they manage to turn things around. But, for 13 months now...Natalya has remained unbeaten on Pay-Per-View, become the only Champion in XWL's history to successfully retain inside The Elimination Chamber, she was apart of The First Final Stand Main-Event to feature Women, a match that earned The Slammy for Match Of The Year, where that rivalry was awarded Rivalry Of The Year...a reign that earned her not only Superstar Of The Year but Champion Of The Year on top of that. AND NOW, you can add successfully defended against The Money In The Bank contract to that ever growing list of achievements. No one has had a better 2018 than Natalya.
Beaming from ear to ear, she happily descends down the ramp, high-fiving as many fans as she can for all of their support and belief in her that even led to this amazing year. She nears the end of the ramp when she spots a sign that says "NATTIE'S #1 FAN" to which she makes an effort to approach the sweet little girl and give her a hug.
[Mauro Ranallo] Natalya's story connects with the masses of The XWL Universe, the struggle, the heart, and perseverance she had to keep going on in the face of defeat, after every time that she fell flat on her face. She is the success story that you want to see in real life, and the fact that she's living proof that nothing truly is impossible is just one of the many reasons these fans love her.
[Corey Graves] Beyond the support, she's shown she's a competitor unlike many others, overcoming obstacle after obstacle, and still finding time to try and empower the division...it's unexpected to see things last as long as they have, and after her defense last week against The Money In The Bank briefcase...I struggle to even believe that it's going to come to an end anytime soon.
[Mauro Ranallo] The division of course has undergone this transformation of it's own, incredible talent joining weekly, but up to this night anyways if someone hopes to truly be the one to end this reign it's going to take a lot of grit and determination to combat the grit and determination of our Women's Champion.
Natalya walks around the ring, touching hands with the fans that extended them toward her along the barricade, then steps up onto the apron and lowers her title off of her shoulder and into both hands as she longingly stares at it.
Joyously she plants a kiss on it, proud to still be able to call it hers, then grabs both ends of it with her hands, and thrusts it into the sky as the fans again let out loud cheers in response to this feel good sight.
[Mauro Ranallo] For 8 months Natalya has carried The Women's Championship, and with last week now behind her...you have to ask what...or specifically...who...is next to step up to challenge her.
[Corey Graves] We were supposed to find out that last week, but with the confusion of Sasha Banks and Liv Morgan coming out, and then The Miss Money In The Bank we didn't really get an answer.
[Mauro Ranallo] I for one find it hard to believe that JBL wasn't trying to set Natalya up for failure by throwing her against North American Champion Toni Storm in a match he knew would be grueling, to allow Carmella the perfect opportunity to utilize the contract she had because of him.
[Corey Graves] I think you're reaching, Mauro...
[Mauro Ranallo] He doesn't seem to appreciate Natalya's character like all of us do, so I wouldn't put it past him. But ultimately it doesn't matter because if that was his intention, it failed...so hopefully tonight we'll figure out what is next for Natalya's reign as Women's Champion.
Savoring the moment a few more seconds, Natalya lowers her title back down then enters into the ring, taking a step toward the ropes to ask for a microphone. One is quickly passed to her and she makes her way to the center of the ring, replacing her title over her shoulder, and slightly raising her mic as her theme dies down. But before she can think of uttering a word, the newfound silence is broken by a thunderously growing "YOU DESERVE IT!" chant.
As those endearing words echo through the arena, her smile remains as warm as ever, unable to take her eyes off of The Championship she's still so grateful to have with her tonight. It means everything to hear these words, to have The Women's Championship still in her possession, and after letting the fans express themselves for a little longer, she raises her mic to address them.
[Natalya] You'd think this would get easier...that I wouldn't find myself so awestruck by your support but honestly I'm glad it doesn't...I'm glad your chants and your love still feels as incredible as it did the night after Emergence when I stood her proudly as your new Women's Champion. I am so grateful that you have been along for the ride on this journey from the beginning...and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything...I would not be in this ring, with THIS...if it wasn't for all of you amazing fans!
They respond with mutual love right back at her as she continues.
[Natalya] For 8 fantastic months I have reigned as your Women's Champion and I still get butterflies when I'm about to step through that curtain, I still feel a rush of adrenaline when I have this title around my waist, or over my shoulder...it's the best feeling in the world, made even better when I get to share these moments with you. Last week was not easy, not by a long shot was what happened in the realm of things I expected, much less thought I would be able to overcome...but despite a grueling match, despite two Women spoiling that match...despite the beat down that followed, despite Carmella running down that ramp to cash in her Money In The Bank contract...despite The Super kick that still has my jaw reeling...I am STILL YOUR WOMEN'S CHAMPION!
Her passion filled words further rile up the fans into an excited frenzy as she briefly raises her title into the air.
[Natalya] Last week could have been the end of this...the finale of my reign that was 2,945 days in the making...but it wasn't...and it's not because of lack of competition, or "luck" it's because each and every time I step into this ring, with this title? I prepare myself for the inevitable night that this could all be taken from me. I ready myself to be ready for ANYTHING...to be strong enough to keep fighting even when my body begins to fail me. April taught me that, she was in this position, and with matches that are designed to push you to your limits, your body does begin to get aches, the pains start to intensify, butt your will exceeds any agony you may be in, because you may have to soak in an ice bath tomorrow, but so long as The Women's Championship is sitting on that shelf beside you, it's all worth it.
[Natalya] April was not only one of my biggest obstacles to overcome, she is my biggest inspiration because I never could have imagined I'd find myself following not far in her footsteps, and even leaving some of my own in her place...but with everything we went through, with how far she pushed me each time we faced in this ring, I grew. I may have fallen short every match but our last...but I took something with me every match. I took another piece of what I wanted my future to be. To be half The Champion she was, to uphold the standard she set...to try and push beyond that and somehow be better. When April fell victim to Money In The Bank...I had planned to march out here prior to that, and challenge her, to hopefully get the match that would bring forth this reign. But unfortunately she had reached her limit, and seeing a great reign like hers, a historic record setting reign come to an untimely end because of someone attacking her when she was down...it angered me. What did Ruby Riott prove by defeating a weakened Champion? What did it ultimately accomplish? She held the title for 85 days, every single day of which she ducked any actual challenge, and had the nerve to deem me "unworthy."
[Natalya] I don't admit it, but I had the biggest chip on my shoulder, I was livid that after everything April did...THAT is how it ended. So when I became Champion, when Ruby stopped ducking me, and had nowhere left to run...I made a promise to myself, and a promise to everything April built this title to stand for. I said that I wouldn't let it happen to me. I would do everything beyond my power to not let ALL of this, if I ever achieved success of this level...that I would expend every last piece of myself to survive what killed her reign. Because when you reach this stage, you have overcome so much, you have fought the best of the best, and when someone defeats you...it's supposed to mean something. They're supposed to prove themselves worthy not to me, but this title by defeating me. But not by doing it with help, or by picking up the scraps of someone else...no, they are face you WOMAN TO WOMAN...and best you.
Fans are fired up by what she's saying in full agreement, as they start a mild "NATTIE! NATTIE! NATTIE!" chant that she interrupts as she continues.
[Natalya] But when Carmella STOLE April's contract over a month ago...oh, that just riled me up even more. How dare she waltz back into this division and think she's just going to moon walk her way into being Champion. So when she ran down that ramp last week, when Toni tried to stand up for me...I looked at the chip on my shoulder, and saw how high it had grown in the near year since April's reign came to an end. I looked at it as motivation...the time had come, to defend my place as Champion, and show this entire division, Carmella included...that if you want this? YOU WILL ONLY GET IT WHEN YOU BEAT ME AT MY BEST! You will not try to steal this from me because I have worked too damn hard to get here and the days of easy field of flower journeys to get here are a thing of the past. This isn't THE DIVAS DIVISION...this is THE WOMEN'S DIVISION...and that means the only way to this title, is through hard work and a whole lot of dedication.
[Natalya] So Carmella, I'm sorry for what I had to do to you last week...I know how it feels to fail when you're in possession of a "guarantee." But speaking from experience, failure only makes your hunger grow...failure can be the greatest source of motivation. So when you're ready to pick yourself up, and dust yourself off? Remember that, remember that you have all the tools to be successful in this business, you just have to quit cutting corners along the way. I was barely strong enough to lock The Sharpshooter in, but when I did? When you were on this mat writhing in agony as I tried to apply as much pressure as possible. You showed something that you've rarely shown, and that was a whole lot of heart. You refused to give up, you endured the pain, you FOUGHT for your dream. Even though I do not respect how you tried to become Champion...I respect The Woman I fought in that final minute. The Woman that no matter how hard I pushed, kept telling that referee no, that you will NEVER give up. You may have had to tap in the end, and your opportunity may have slipped through your fingers...but that was not the end of your journey, it is merely a new beginning with a newfound grit you perhaps didn't even know you had.
[Natalya] Speaking of last week, a couple ghosts of my past seem to take interest in The Main-Event, a little too much of an interest because one of them couldn't keep their knuckle covered hand to themselves, and they decided to ruin a match where The North American Champion Toni Storm and I were leaving it all in that ring in a match that COULD have gone either way. But instead, you...Liv Morgan, along with my old pal Sasha Banks decided to shove your nose in my business, along with your fist into my nose...and as if costing me that match wasn't enough, you had to get a couple of licks in afterward, didn't you? Now I don't know if last week was just a passing fancy, maybe a walk down memory lane, Sasha? A memory that isn't so fond, huh? Whatever that was? Whatever the intent? I hope you were watching VERY closely what happened to Carmella...in fact Sasha, you know all about what happened to her because the same fate befell you at Final Stand. You know, I thought we were past this...I thought you Sasha were regretful of your poor choices, but perhaps Ronda also gave you a concussion to go with your broken arm because clearly you're not in the right frame of mind. I'm not interested in doing this whole story again with you, it was great, we won several Slammys, made history...but you...as far as I'm concerned? ARE history. So I hope you enjoyed watching, because that's as close as you're going to get to another match with me. In the words of Ariana Grande's latest smash hit...THANK YOU, NEXT!
Last weeks antics, coupled with the fact that Natalya was blamed by some for Sasha's absence the last several weeks before it when she tried to have a "come to Jesus" moment with Sasha at The Slammy Awards seems to have opened up old wounds. And Natalya has put all of that behind her, she doesn't want to think about Sasha again, because while she may have been her best friend at one time...The Woman calling herself "The Boss" is no longer that Woman.
[Natalya] Now, with that out of the way...I have a simple question, and the answer is just as simple...WHO would like to face me at Breakthrough for The Women's Championship?
WHO COULD IT BE?
IS IT BECKY LYNCH?
MAYBE IT'S BETH PHOENIX?
RUBY RIOT PERHAPS?
NOPE! IT'S SASHA BANKS!
All the excitement in the arena is seemingly gone. Another match between Sasha Banks and Natalya would deliver, without a doubt, but this crowd was clearly hoping for someone new. Someone who Natalya hasn't faced yet. Not the person who she's beaten more times than she can count. The Legit Boss made her return at Roulette to cost Ronda Rousey her match, then interfering in the champion versus champion match in the main event last week, and here she is now. Arms spread out wide with a microphone in hand as she steps out onto the stage to a less than welcoming reaction and for once, she's not tailed by Liv Morgan either.
Sasha Banks stops and throws her hands up, showing off those Legit Boss knuckles which sparkle in the spotlight that shines down onto her from the lighting rig above the ring.
And the Boss then pushes her hands to the side, executing her signature pose before taking her glasses from her face. Sasha tosses her glasses off to the side and glances to the crowd.
[Corey Graves] Here we go again. Sasha Banks wanting yet another shot at Natalya and her championship yet expecting a different outcome. Do you know what that is? That's called insanity. She's had plenty of chances to defeat Natalya and she's failed each and every single time. Sasha Banks should be banned from challenging for the championship as long as Natalya holds it. I don't care if they had the Match of the Year or even the Rivalry of the Year. We have a locker room full of women wanting a chance at the title and Sasha Banks is out here trying to get another.
This would about be the time where Sasha Banks would begin to walk down the ramp, but she doesn't. She stands by at the top of the ramp. Natalya, being the experienced wrestler that she is, makes sure to check her six to make sure Liv Morgan wasn't about to come from behind and clock her in the back of the head... but there wasn't any sight of her either. It was just Sasha and Natalya.
[Mauro Ranallo] Normally, I wouldn't agree with you on some things... but now isn't one of those times. I agree with you for once. Sasha Banks doesn't deserve yet another chance at the XWL Woman's Championship.
Sasha clears her throat and lifts her microphone. She waves at Natalya as she speaks.
[SASHA BANKS] Hey, sweetheart, how's it going? Long time no see. Last time I saw you, I was feeling pretty down. I was almost ready to quit. In fact, I think I did quit because I was so overwhelmed with all these losses... but I quickly realized that I couldn't just give up and I want to thank you for that. Thank you for always being so inspiring and always knowing what to say. I mean it when I say that. We've had our issues but I cannot stand here and say that you aren't an inspiration. I can't stand here and say that I don't respect you. I respect you. I respect the hell out of you and I respect what you bring to the table, baby girl. Remember Final Stand? You proved that you rightfully deserve to call yourself not only the champion, but the best there is, best there was, and the best there ever will be. And I'm not just trying to say what you might wanna hear so I can butter you up and get a championship match out of you. In fact, I've already spoken to our General Manager.
The Kansas City crowd boos as Sasha motions for them to settle down. They haven't even heard this idea of hers yet and Sasha knew the idea would be something that they didn't see coming.
[SASHA BANKS] Settle down, guys. I spoke to JBL earlier today and I presented him this idea to make the biggest woman's championship match possible at Breakthrough. I wanted something that people wouldn't soon forget. I wanted something that these people could look forward to... and that something is not Sasha Banks versus Natalya.
The Boss takes a step to the side and turns her body slightly. It was almost simbalism in a way. It's almost like Sasha Banks was removing herself from the spotlight and making room for someone else to enter the picture. Sasha Banks extends the arm which doesn't hold the microphone and points to the curtain where the men and women of tthe roster would emerge when coming out. Sasha Banks speaks into the microphone with her voice made louder than normal and has this confident smirk on her face as she keeps her eyes on Natalya.
[SASHA BANKS] I PRESENT TO YOU YOUR CHALLENGER IF YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT, FROM ELMWOOD PARK, NEW JERSEY...
The Kansas City crowd stood to their feet and stuck down their thumbs to welcome XWL's resident wild child, Liv Morgan. As if the crowd wasn't displaying enough disapproval at the mere presence of the Boss, the addition of the Delinquent and offering of her as Natalya's next opponent was enough to nearly blow the roof off of the arena after the despicable actions of the pink and purple-haired duo last week.
[Mauro Ranallo] The reoccurring alliance of Sasha Banks and Liv Morgan emerges once again! Where you find one, the other's sure to be not far behind. Isn't that right, Corey?
[Corey Graves] Spot on, Mauro, and what a clever suggestion from the Boss! She wasn't able to get the job done herself, so it seems fitting that she enlists superstar that she's taken under her wing, someone she can tell all of her secrets to, strategize about all of Natalya's weaknesses, and capitalize on them accordingly. You have to keep in mind Mauro, Sasha Banks may not have been the woman to dethrone Natalya, but she is without a doubt the most educated person in the world when it comes to Natalya's weak spots. Nobody knows Natalya in the ring better than Sasha Banks, and I'd wager that that factor alone is going to majorly swing this potential bout in the direction of Liv Morgan, should the Women's Champion choose to accept the challenge.
Liv pops out onto the stage, twirling swiftly as she plucks her suspenders from her shoulders and sticks her famously blue tongue out for the cameras. The Juvenile Delinquent from Jersey slides her hand across the Boss's shoulder, resting it there as she swings around to her side, sliding up her other hand, which is equipped with a microphone of her own, to wave at Natalya. After giving the crowd a moment to relax, Liv tosses a chunk of her bubblegum-colored hair back over her shoulder before raising the microphone to her mouth.
[LIV Morgan] HEY NATTIE! How's that jaw treatin' ya, huh?
Liv cocks her head back to let out a maniacal laugh at the Champion's expense, placing her free hand over her chest dramatically.
[LIV Morgan] Awww, it looks like it's healing nicely! Then again, after this year we all know just how PAINFULLY resilient you can be. Kinda like a cockroach, don'tcha think Sash?.. Now Nattie, I might not remember all that much from our little Elimination Chamber match earlier this year, but I'm sure that by now you've noticed that I'm hardly the same girl that you stepped inside of that chamber with.. I've overcome more adversities in 2018 than anyone else on this roster, and STILL I get sidestepped and snubbed around every corner. I'M a bigger success story than Toni Storm, I'M more inspirational than Kairi Sane, and I already proved at Roulette that I'm even more unstoppable than Ronda, friggin', Rousey! Yet SOMEhow, I'm expected to sit back and play nice in catering while all of those busted birdbrains are handed qualifying match after qualifying match. So if I've gotta act out, if I've gotta cause a little trouble to get somethin' going around here, then that's EXACTLY what I'm about to do.
[LIV Morgan] Y'see Nattie, after my injury there was only ONE PERSON who has had by back and recognized my true potential. ONE PERSON who didn't just see me as some "fragile," or "unstable" little girl from Jersey. And do y'know who that one person was, Natalya? Because it definitely wasn't you or your high horse! The slowly cracking face of our division herself, the veteran hag of the locker room, Natalya NOhart, didn't give two craps about little ol' Liv Morgan, but SOMEBODY did.. And that somebody, was Sasha Banks!
Liv smiles openly and leans over, giving the Boss a quick squeeze of a hug before continuing about her speech.
[LIV Morgan] Sasha's taught me more over the last few months than you've taught me over your entire sob story career. She taught me how to be a team, she showed me what it means to love someone so much that you'd put your body on the line for them without even thinking twice. She taught me how to win by any means necessary, and all of the steps I have to take in order to get me exactly what I deserve. But I saved the most important thing for last, Nat! Lastly, the most important thing Sasha ever taught me, was ALL of your weaknesses.. So unlike your other opponents, I'm not starting off at the bottom. I'm picking up right where SHE left off, and just like nobody thought I could finish Ronda at Roulette? I'm going to finish your title reign at Breakthrough.
Natalya digests Liv's BOLD statement and nods here head for a couple of seconds before responding.
[Natalya] Gee, you know...hearing how great of a friend Sasha is to you is kind of making me a little envious. I mean, where was all of this when we were friends? Doing all of that out of the kindness of her heart? No hidden agenda? No deep dark secret she's trying to keep hidden from you? By your side from the VERY beginning...it's like you and I were friends with two entirely different people. But, then again..maybe my memories just a little hazy? Maybe I don't remember all the good because of all the bad? You ever feel like that, Liv? Like one day you're going to wake up and everything will be different? I'm sorry look at me I'm rambling on about nonsense, right Sasha?
[SASHA BANKS] No. You’re right. Liv is going to wake up one day and everything is going to be different... because life changes when you’re the champion.
[Natalya] Yeah, that's totally what I meant...anyways, I must say this is a pleasant surprise. When the two of you intruded upon last week's Main-Event...i much like these fans jumped to one conclusion, Sasha was trying to position herself for another title match with me...which, not that it wouldn't be exciting...but it's kind of hard to top The Final Stand Main-Event. But Liv? Now that's shaking things up, I mean like you said...you know me better than anyone else in this ring, who better to groom The Woman that can bring about the demise of my reign than someone who can draw upon personal experiences to ensure she doesn't go down the same road you did? That to me feels like a real challenge, someone I've not had a whole lot of experience with, someone that's grown tremendously since our last encounter...but in that time they've been prepared for this very day right here right now to profess that they know how to do what many Women before you, including your "coach" have failed to do.
The Queen of Harts looks to her Women's Championship before raising it into the air for all to see, especially Liv Morgan.
[Natalya] A lot can change over time, there's no better proof of that than by looking at this title. It is mine because times DID change, and I proved there IS another way to the top of the mountain. So perhaps the same can be said of you? You're not the same Woman I defeated in my first defense 7 months ago. Which is kind of exciting in itself isn't it? You and I began The Elimination Chamber, and outlasted the likes of Bayley, Asuka, Nia Jax...and even, your dear pal beside you. If you could be good enough to do that then, what are you capable of now? So seeing as Sasha seems to have made all the arrangements, and all that's needed is for me to formally accept your challenge..I have but one thing to ask, because after all...I'm a bit of a traditionalist.
Liv Morgan arches a single brow suspiciously, her face not showing any amusement for a change. Instead, we get an incredibly focused, serious, and vaguely pondering mug sported by the Delinquent.
[Natalya] Before I get to that, I want you to hear me loud, and clear. This match is between us, Sasha is more than welcome to be ringside to support you like all best friends do...but she better mind her manners because as you both saw last week...when someone tries to take the "easy" route against me? It has a way of igniting a fiery determination within me, do not try and screw me out of what I have had to scratch and claw my way to not only attain, but continually retain. That is, unless you aspire to end up like Carmella. Got it? Good. Now call me old fashioned, but in order to commemorate things and make this Championship Match between us official, I'd like for you to join me in this ring...and shake my hand agreeing that our match will be by the books, and under no circumstance will you deviate from the rules. After all, if you're so well versed about me, you should have no problem beating me fair and square, right?
Natalya walks over to the ropes closest to the ramp, then places her foot on the bottom rope, and lifts up the middle rope as she directs Liv with an invitation to join her in the ring to make this official with a show of respect. Liv glances over to her best pal Sasha in disbelief, thinking Natalya's got to be yanking their chains. No way would be be bold, or foolish enough to invite the woman who cost her a match that was set to be an instant-classic just a short week ago!
[Natalya] Come on now, I don't bite, unless I'm provoked...but I'm sure Sasha's told you all about that too, right?
Her mic lowers and her hand holding it extends out beckoning Liv to come into the ring. Liv narrows her eyes towards the Women's Champion, dragging her blue tongue across her lower lip as she processes the audacity of Natalya. After a moment of this, she sucks her teeth and nods to her pal Sasha before beginning her walk down the ramp. Instead of taking the stairs, Liv opts to swiftly roll into the ring, propping herself up her knees as she stares up at Natalya. You can never be sure about the inner workings of Liv Morgan's mind, or when she might surprise you next, but one thing was for certain, Natalya wasn't backing down from those crazy doll eyes.
[Mauro Ranallo] Something about the eyes of Liv Morgan is just-... Deeply unsettling.
[Corey Graves] I'll have you know that I find Liv Morgan's eyes delightfully charming, Mauro.
[Mauro Ranallo] Naturally, Corey.
Realizing this, Liv snickers to herself before instantaneously hopping up to her feet and snickering to herself while she shoots her right hand out to meet Natalya's. On the Delinquent's lips lies a wide grin that we have become all too acquainted with in recent weeks. Natalya seems to hold the firm grip in place, staring into Liv's eyes for an extended period of time before the shake commences. As the camera pans around the two, we catch a shot of Liv's back. Per usual Liv Morgan fashion, her spare hand was resting behind her in a perfect and typical display of pseudo-innocence. Upon closer inspection, however, there was a little bit more going on behind that back of Liv Morgan this time. Not brass knuckles or another pair of the Boss's rings, which have become a staple piece for the Delinquent as of late. No, this time her hand was bare, but it was what her hand was doing that was the focus of concern. As the camera zooms closer, it reveals that Liv Morgan is blatantly crossing her fingers right behind her own back! I suppose we should have expected such from XWL's resident wild child, but Natalya seems totally unaware of Liv's slick mannerisms.
[Mauro Ranallo] Do you see that, Corey! Liv Morgan's fingers are crossed behind her back!
[Corey Graves] Of course I see it! What else do you expect? This is the Juvenile Delinquent we're talking about after all.
[Mauro Ranallo] One would think that after the unbelievable events we witnessed last week that Liv Morgan would learn not to try and play the Women's Champion for a fool. After all, the girl's from Jersey! Breaking the rules is practically part of their culture.
[Corey Graves] On the contrary, I'd argue that anyone who is trusting Liv Morgan to play by the rules of ANYthing has proved themselves a fool already!
With the shake still ongoing, sealing the deal and fating Liv Morgan and Natalya to a bout for the Championship at Breakthrough, Liv breaks her crossed fingers and grips her mic, pulling it back around to say something more to her newly confirmed opponent.
[LIV Morgan] But Nattie, I think you're forgetting one teeeensy weensy little detail.. It isn't Breakthrough yet..!
The Women's Champion didn't even have an opportunity to respond before Morgan drops her mic and snakes her hand behind Natalya's head. Liv jumps up off the mat and curls her knees up, bringing Natalya right down into the Jersey Codebreaker! The Champion's face crashes down onto the knees of Liv Morgan with forceful pressure, causing her body to snap back and lay flat out onto the mat once the move was completed. Fans are livid, immediately booing her cheap shot. Liv instantly rolls up to her knees and laughs, her blue tongue hanging out as she crawls over Natalya just enough to weasel the title right off of her shoulder.
[LIV Morgan] Don't mind if I do!..
Liv then proceeds to rise to her feet slowly over top of Natalya, raising the XWL Women's Championship high into the air with her free hand as the audience just roars with boos over her disrespect to their beloved Champion. Her chest rises and falls heavily at the excitement and pure rush that comes with holding this title for the very first time in her young career, even if it is not under the most honorable of circumstances. The fans continue to express their anger over Liv's actions, but all she continues to do is smile as if the title already has her name on it.
[Corey Graves] Is this a sign of what's to come at Breakthrough?
[Mauro Ranallo] I think that's a bit of a disservice to The Women's Champion who for 8 months has proven that it's not wise to bet against her.
[Corey Graves] Maybe so, but this is a pretty powerful sight...and you know what they say...seeing is believing.

The arena then fills with a superstars entrance music which receives a mix off cheers and boos from the crowd.
HBK comes out onto the stage as the mixed reaction gets louder which brings a smile to the face of HBK as he dances on the stage and does his suck it taunts to certain members off the crowd. He looks down to the ring and while it was clear he did not have a match this evening he was still here all the same as he moved, a slight sprint in his step as he made his way to the ring, sliding in as he would run against the ropes several times. A referee was with him as well and it was clear that HBK did not come out here to just talk, he came out here to fight and it was clear to everyone here who he wanted to fight this evening, Curt Hawkins and thankfully HBK did not have to wait long for the man to make an appearance.
ARE YOU READY TO FACE THE FACTS!
The man of the hour would walk out onto the main stage. He would twirl the cane in his hand as he would grin from ear to ear. He was not booked on the show tonight, but that did not mean he could not be here to speak his mind and dish out the facts to people.
“Look at you old fella. You managed to run down that ring without blowing out both your kneecaps, I am impressed. I really am. Now please - don’t get a microphone to speak,. I don’t what you wasting your breath, I know why you are out here. You have been going on and on how you want to face me, how you want to take me down, teach me respect? Well old man, let me tell you this - I WOULD LOVE TO FACE YOU, I WOULD LOVE TO BEAT YOU - HECK I WANT TO - I REALLY WANT TO, BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS - I HAVE A MATCH TONIGHT. I am good, I know it, you know it, the whole world knows it, but I will not risk myself injury by having TWO matches tonight, but HBK - before you throw a fit and give chase, I have made some arrangements for you, you came out here for a match - then that’s exactly what your going to get old man. I JUST HOPE THAT YOU ARE READY TO CATCH THIS MANS HANDS.”
The arena is plunged into darkness. There was not a single soul within until the fireflies started to appear -- to light the way for the monster that was about to come. The fireflies danced in the darkness as soon they were few and then many. The screen flickered as the monster among men voice could be heard.
I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU
He would scream. A powerful roar that almost shakes the entire arena as within the darkness he could be heard. The fireflies cast some light to reveal him, but it would be his heavy footsteps that would signal his arrival as he walked from the back and into the main stage.
THE MONSTER AMONG MEN would appear on the stage. The entire arena would shake as he steps out onto the stage -- he looked pissed, a look that suited that twisted face of his as he stared forward. His tongue would move slightly as he would lick his lips, he was ready for this, he was ready for what needed to be done. A growl leaving his mouth as he stands there perfectly still-- his entire body language, his presence told the world -- that he was ready for what he had to do tonight to walk out the victor. Looking forward -- right down to the ring -- this was a new land for him. Braun Strowman would stare right at the ring as he walks down the ramp. Thudding his way down as he never takes his eyes of the ring. He would stare forward as he slowly walked to the steps. Taking his time -- each step almost shaking the entire ring itself as he walked up the steps and onto the apron. One leg brought over the ropes and landing within the ring -- the other following as the MONSTER didn't even have to push the ropes down as he stood there. He was breathing heavily as looked forward pacing back and forward like a wild beast that was waiting for the prey to MAKE HIS MOVE.
The prey in question would be HBK as he stepped forward, ready to take on the monster among men, it was legend versus monster and only one of them would be left standing when this was all said and done.

Mauro Ranello Welcome back folks, it’s time for this young man to prove his worth in the ring
Corey Graves You mean it’s time for this young man to face the punishment for his crimes, Mauro.
Ring Announcer Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is an XWL Contract Match, and is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, Tyler!
Not exactly an impressive introduction, but no one really knows who he is yet, and it doesn’t bother him in the slightest as in his mind, he’s living out his dream. The crowd is cheering his name, and he loves it. Tyler lets out a loud ‘come on!’ and sprints up to the corner, leaping onto the second turnbuckle, he ceases his opportunity, and mimics one of his favourite wrestlers, raising his arms into the air and striking a pose, which the audience loves.
Corey Graves Would you look at this? This kid has no remorse for his actions, I can’t wait to see him brought down to earth
Ring Announcer And introducing his opponent, hand picked by the general manager himself…
The woman lowers her microphone, just as Tyler jumps down from the turnbuckle and faces the ramp, awaiting his opponent for the night…
WHHHHHEEEEEEEELLLLL
Tyler’s face turns pale as The Big Show’s entrance music hits.
Corey Graves Ahahaha! This is brilliant! This kid is what, 100 pounds soaking wet? The Big Show is three times his size, almost twice his height, he’s going to dominate him!
Mauro Ranello He’s also twice his age Corey, don’t count him out just yet.
Big Show makes his way down the ramp, his sheer size intimidating the rookie, he gulps as he awaits the giant, who steps into the ring and laughs in his face.

The Bell rings, and young Tyler doesn’t hesitate, firing a strike at the big man, but Show just blocks it with the palm of his hand, and still laughing, he shoves him to the floor. Tyler doesn’t take long to get back to his feet, backing up from Big Show, he stares at the giant obstacle standing in his way of becoming an XWL Superstar. Almost as if his spirit, his desire takes him over, he sprints toward Big Show, and fires a dropkick to his chest, but Big Show barely even staggers. Tyler tries again, with another dropkick, and another, and another. Big Show stumbles slightly, but still stays on his feet., but it looks like one more shot could topple the giant, Tyler goes for it once again, but Show is ready, he lashes out with a fierce chop across Tyler’s chest which almost breaks the poor boy in half, sending him down once more.
Tyler clutches his chest, which has a visible red mark across it, and Big Show doesn’t let up, he leans down and rips the leather jacket from the lad’s body, tearing it in the process. Throwing the jacket to the ground outside, Big Show looks down at his prey, steps on his back, pinning him to the canvas, then steps across it. Tyler writhes in pain, and instinctively pulls himself back into the corner and rests.
Corey Graves Just over a minute into this match and he’s already cowering in the corner. What a pathetic…
As corey is about to finish his sentence, Big Show slowly and clumsily runs up to Tyler, and attempts a hip splash, but Tyler ducks down under the ropes, causing Big Show to collide with the middle turnbuckle, Show comes to a halt in the corner, and Tyler takes full advantage, running to the other side of the ring, he charges the Big Show, and connects with a wicked leaping kick across the side of his head. Big Show is stunned, but still on his feet, clutching onto the ropes. Tyler knows this is his moment, and he doesn’t want to mess it up, it’s now or never! He continues to fire kick after kick at the Big Show, aiming for his legs, he manages to bring the Giant to a knee, and then focuses on the other leg, which eventually brings Show down to both knees.
Mauro Ranello Come on, you can do it kid!
The whole audience is behind him, and Tyler’s feeding off the support, he throws himself off the ropes, and on his way back, brings Big Show down with an incredible DDT, slamming the big man’s head against the canvas. Both men are down, but Tyler manages to crawl out onto the apron under the bottom rope.
This is it, this is his opportunity, his chance to make his name! Tyler can see through the ropes that Show is laid flat out on his back, panting slightly, but not moving much, and his eyes shoot straight toward the corner, almost as if it’s calling for him. He forcibly drags himself by the ropes to the corner, and when he gets there, he uses the turnbuckles to pull himself up to his feet. Looking out to the audience, the cogs start moving in his mind, and they know he’s going high risk, and they love it! The cheering is so loud, it’s almost deafening, and it’s all the approval Tyler needs.
Using the buckles as a makeshift ladder, Tyler climbs up to the top…
Corey Graves What’s he looking to do up there!?
Mauro Ranello I suppose he’s looking to put the nail in the coffin and end this matc— TYLER LOOK OUT!
But alas, Mauro’s cry couldn’t be heard by anyone that wasn’t watching at home, not even Tyler who was standing only a mere few feet away. And it would t matter even if he could, for it was to late. He was perched upon the top turnbuckle waiting for his moment to earn his XWL contract, before he is grabbed by his ankle and forced off to the ground.....BUT TYLER LANDS ON HIS FEET! Tyler takes no time to think, as his instincts kick in. He immediately turns to find just who he expected. The masked man that has caused Seth so much trouble, at least until he ruined his plans last week. Tyler jumps up and drop kicks the masked man sending him flying off the apron and stomach first into the barricade.
Mauro Ranello YES! Send him back where he came from Tyler!
Tyler looks now to big show who is propped onto his knee mating an attempt to stand. Tyler rushes to the top rope, watching big show with every move. He glances to see the masked man still on the ground outside the ring rolling in agony. He looks back to Big Show before jumping.....AND CONNECTING THE DIVING KNEE RIGHT TO THE SIDE OF BIG SHOWS SKULL! Tyler goes for the pin as the entire crowd counts along.....

Thr——SMACK!
The crowd is in shock. Tyler rolls off the Big Show, screaming in agony and pain. The referee calls for the bell announcing Tyler as the winner by DQ. The referee looks up, along with Tyler and everyone else in fact to see just who is responsible for this vicious attack with a steel chair. It’s not the masked man for he is still laying o the ground outside the ring. But, to everyone’s amazement, it is! And it isn’t at the same time!? It is a masked man, dressed exactly as the other, however it is indeed a second man! The second masked man raises the chair up bringing straight down onto Tyler’s chest, knocking the breath right from his lungs. Tyler coughs and gasps for breath as he rolls around the ring, the masked man just watching on. By now the original masked man stands and slides into the ring, and begins to viscously kick Tyler, obviously angry that he was bested just a few moments ago.
The two masked men both now begin to kick Tyler, continuously until it seems Tyler can no longer move, the crowd booing all along the way. Both men seem unfazed by this however. They look to one another for a few moments until the simultaneously look from the chair in the second mans had to Tyler. The man without the chair jumps into action first. He jumps onto Tyler, holding him still which doesn’t really take much since he has been beaten pretty badly now. The man with the chair kneels at Tyler’s head, meaning only one thing. A devilish act is about to occur. The man wraps the chair around Tyler’s neck, and holds it still with his foot before nodding to his partner. The original masked man crawls up the turnbuckle, looking to end Tyler’s XWL career before it can even get started. The man looks to Tyler and his partner before.....

Corey Graves Involving himself in others affairs I see.
Seth Rollins emerges from behind the curtains wasting no time at all as he sprints down to the ring. Both masked men turn and scurry out of the ring and off the top turnbuckle. The two men run from the ring and hop over the barricade into the crowd as Seth slides into the ring. Seth runs to Tyler carefully ripping the chair from around his throat, all the while keeping an eye on the two men. Seth tries to wake tyler from his unconscious daze as he stares into the dark eyes of the to masked men, but seen no remorse. Anarchy fades to a commercial break.

*The words "Earlier Today" flash across the screen momentarily. The scene is outside the arena in the parking lot. A hooded figure is shown from behind wheeling a suitcase behind him, heading towards the back entrance of the venue. Upon closer inspection you can see the World Heavyweight Championship around the top of the case. This is either Chris Jericho or Johnny Gargano arriving at the arena. Cathy Kelley is shown in hot pursuit, chasing after the champion to get some words. As the cameraman catches up to them, it is revealed that Gargano is the unidentified champion. He's wearing an expression of little emotion and it looks as though he hasn't slept in days, maybe even since the last Anarchy.*
[Cathy Kelley] Johnny! Johnny wait! Can we get a word on what happened last week between you and Tommaso Ciampa?
*Gargano doesn't even acknowledge Cathy's presence and continues his strides towards the arena.*
[Cathy Kelley] Johnny! Why did you attack Tommaso?
*Gargano is as cold as ever as he holds his silence.*
[Cathy Kelley] Johnny... anything?
*Cathy's request falls on deaf ears and she finally gives up, stopping her pursuit of Gargano and lowering her mic in disappointment with a concerned look on her face. Gargano reaches the arena door and smashes it open aggressively with his free hand, disappearing out of view. The footage comes to an end and Anarchy continues...*

[Interviewer] Toni Storm, last week in the main event of Anarchy you picked up a victory over the Women's Champion Natalya which is no mean feat...
[Toni Storm] You know, I did pick up the victory last week, but it was a little controversial. It wasn't a clear cut win. Everybody knows that the pesky Liv Morgan was the deciding factor in who won and who lost. Nattie and I were killing it out there... it was probably up there as one of the greatest matches of my career and I'm sure she feels the same... but Liv just had to stick her nose into something that she had no business being involved in to ruin it. I'm a little upset that's how things went down, but I think I showed that I can hang with the best of them and that the North American Champion is just as good as the Women's Champion. Plus my door is always open for Nattie to request a rematch against me at any time. I'd love for Round 2 to happen.
[Interviewer] You obviously have a lot of respect for Natalya...
[Toni Storm] Of course, I mean, how can you not? She's pretty much been the embodiment of this division for years now and she's in the midst of one of the most dominant title reigns of all time. I'm pretty sure that everyone on the roster, male or female, whether they admit it or not, has some respect for Natalya. She has the heart and the resilience that most can only dream of. Just look at last week when she survived the cash-in after wrestling me for over an hour... how can you not respect that? To be standing alongside her at the top of the division - both of us as champions - it just really still has not registered in my tiny little brain that this is actually happening. I know I'm good, but it's still hard to believe that I'm living my dream right now. I pinch myself every morning when I wake up to make sure that this is real and is actually happening.
*Storm beams and you can't help but love that she doesn't believe her current situation.*
[Interviewer] And earlier tonight we saw Shayna Baszler become #1 contender for your North American Championship. The two of you will face off at the next XWL special event Breakthrough, in what is sure to be a match to remember.
*The joy fades from Storm's face as she becomes all business now that her title and new-found contender have been mentioned.*
[Toni Storm] Congratulations to Shayna on emerging victorious from the #1 Contender Tournament. She did well to overcome Ember and Nia... but that feeling she has right now of being a winner... it won't last for long.
*The focus and determination on the face of the champion is clear as she continues.*
[Toni Storm] I've already beaten Shayna once to win the North American Title. I'll do it again at Breakthrough to defend it. I have her all figured out despite what she says about making a mistake at Roulette that cost her everything. The only mistake Shayna has made is by believing her own delusions that she has what it takes to take my championship away from me. You'd think pinning her to the mat once already would've given her a nice dose of reality but she continues to inhabit her own little fantasy world. It's kind of a shame because the whole tough-girl MMA gimmick with the playing cards... it has potential. I kind of dig it. But the delusions are killing me. Maybe Shayna can one day live up to being the dominant force she claims to be, but right now, she's living in my time. Toni... Time!
*Storm takes a moment to let her words sink in to the minds of anyone watching - the fans, the roster and especially Baszler. She wants everyone to believe what she just said as much as she believes it herself. Storm is full of confidence as she delivers her final words.*
[Toni Storm] At Roulette, I went all in and I came away with the ultimate jackpot at Shayna's expense. At Breakthrough it's going to the same again. The Ace Of Spades will be trumped as the Storm once again rolls into the arena. Lightning will strike twice as I pick up the W and remain THE North American Champion!
*Storm unstraps the NA title from around her waist and holds it up close to her face, staring intently into the camera with a glint in her eye as the scene slowly fades to black.*

Anarchy continues, and we are brought backstage where we see Mr. Money in the Bank Aiden English doing some stretches and…. Vocal warm-ups, presumably to prepare for his main event match tonight against one of the World Heavyweight Champions, Chris Jericho.
[Renee Young] I’m sorry Aiden, but could I get a moment of your time?
Aiden English sighs and looks to his right, and we see Renee Young walk into frame, microphone in hand, albeit looking cautious of Aiden.
{Aiden English} Renee, you never give up do you? It must be your goal in life to bother me while I’m busy. Oh well, if you must. An artist truly gets no rest. Your questions?
[Renee Young] Well Aiden, I wanted to get your thoughts on your match here tonight in the main event against World Heavyweight Co-champion Chris Jericho. Are you nervous in any way going into this match, and how are you preparing?
{Aiden English} Really Renee? That’s the best you have for me? I at least I expected a question more tailored to me, rather than a stock “big match moment” inquiry. I answer questions like that for IMDB all the time, I expected at least some higher standard here. Oh well. To answer your question, no I am not nervous about this match. It is set to be yet another great performance by yours truly, regardless of who it is. Though, of course, it may be a taste of what will happen soon….
Aiden grins and raises his briefcase before continuing.
{Aiden English} As for how I am preparing, same as always. Regular exercising, dieting, vocal warm-ups, the usual. Sorry my answer is not very exciting, but frankly, your question wasn't either. Anything more?
[Renee Young] I actually do, I wanted to get your thoughts on what happened last week between Tomasso Ciampa and the other co-champion, Johnny Gargano.
When Renee mentions what happened last week, Aiden’s eyes light up in glee, as if he’s been waiting for this exact moment.
{Aiden English} Now Renee, this is the level of questioning I expect from a journalist, good for you! What happened last week is certainly an interesting development, is it not? A classic tragedy, two childhood friends, who’ve done everything together, suddenly torn asunder by the promise of riches and success. How will this play out? How will it affect the match at Breakthrough? Why I’m just as eager to see how this great drama unfolds as the rest of the audience. I do have a feeling, however, that no matter what happens, I may end up benefiting someway.
Renee makes a ‘hm’ sound and nods her head, seemingly somewhat surprised by Aiden actually giving her a comprehensive answer, regardless of how bizarre its contents may be.
[Renee Young] Well, I actually do have one final question, didn’t expect to get this far honestly, usually, you’ve left at this point. During our interview last week, when talking about the Cabinet, when mentioning the name of your teammate Drew Mcintyre, you spoke of him in a bizarre tone than me as well as some others have been curious about ever since. Can you elaborate? Is there some sort of tension among the ranks of the Cabinet?
{Aiden English} RENEE!
Aiden’s sudden and loud answer to the question causes Renee to take a step back and sigh, realizing that Aiden seems to now be in the mood he usually is in during interviews.
{Aiden English} Renee, I have put up with quite a lot of shenanigans from you over the past months, but insinuating something like dissent between the Cabinet is frankly despicable. The Cabinet is a strong unit just like it always has been. We’re done here!
Aiden storms off, probably to go prepare for his match angrily somewhere else. Renee looks towards the camera and simply throws her hands up, no longer able to even pretend to be shocked by Aiden ending interviews abruptly, as we cut to a commercial break.

When XWL returns from commercial break, we are brought to what we can assume is the lair of Bray Wyatt, however, things are a little different than usual. Rather than us seeing just complete darkness at first, we instead cut to a shot looking at the floor, with two objects placed on the ground. One, of course, is Bray Wyatt’s signature lantern, providing the little light that exists in the room. However, placed atop the lantern is none other than Finn Balor’s demon headdress, taken from Wyatt back at Roulette when he defeated Balor. Eventually we hear the voice of Wyatt in the background, softly singing.
[Bray Wyatt] He’s got the whole world, in his hands…………..
Wyatt comes into view, and the camera shifts up to focus on him rather than the items below. However, they are quickly brought back into view as Wyatt picks the lantern up, bringing the headdress with it. Wyatt examines each item, before removing the headdress from the lantern and placing it in his other hand. Now holding both items in his hands, Wyatt continues to sing.
[Bray Wyatt] He’s got the sun and the moon, in his hands………
Now with both items in his hands, Wyatt turns his back to the camera, and walks away from it, out of his realm. Just as the cameras can no longer see him, we hear him one last time.
[Bray Wyatt] He’s got the whole world in his hands.
With that we are left with nothing but pure darkness, which we idle in for a few moments. However, we eventually are brought back out to the Sprint Center, where Seth Rollins is in the ring and his theme is playing, showing he has already made his way out to the ring and is ready for his match against Bray Wyatt.
[Mauro Ranallo] Well, ladies and gentlemen, I hope you’re ready because this should be an interesting one. Both men competing here have certainly been involved in some… interesting circumstances to say the least. Seth Rollins here, as we saw earlier, has had his return plagued with run-ins with masked attackers and XWL’s newest superstar Tyler Bates. Whereas the man who will come out next….
[Corey Graves] Mauro he’s crazy! You can call him crazy! I’m certainly no Seth Rollins fan, but all this stuff Wyatt’s been talking about, with the apocalypse coming to XWL, and spirits, and the singing, I mean, he’s crazy!
[Mauro Ranallo] Well, Bray Wyatt has certainly never been a conventional one, that’s for sure. And I believe here he comes now!
Right as Mauro says so, Wyatt’s theme signals his arrival out towards the ring. As usual, it takes some time for him to actually come out from behind the curtain, however unlike usual, once he does, not only does he have his lantern in his hand, but it also his the headdress over it, like we just saw.
[Mauro Ranallo] Bray Wyatt proudly displaying the demon headdress that he took from Finn Balor after their brutal match at Roulette.
[Corey Graves] I don’t know about you Mauro, but seeing the lantern of Bray Wyatt combined with the headdress of the Demon King? It just gives me the heebie-jeebies.
Despite Corey’s “heebie-jeebies’ Wyatt continues with his entrance as usual, minus the presence of the headdress. Eventually he makes his way into the ring and gives both the lantern and headdress to the crew at ringside, making himself ready for the match to start.

As the referee counts to 3 signifying the end of the match, Wyatt rolls off of Rollins’s body, an slowly stands up. He paces around the ring a few times, looking unsure of what to do despite his victory. Eventually he makes his way to the ringside crew and retrieves the lantern and headdress, yet still looks like something needs to be done. He then makes his way back over tingside and requests a microphone.
[Corey Graves] Oh god.
Wyatt is handed the microphone, but instead of beginning to speak he instead places the microphone upright on the ground. He then takes the lantern with the headdress on top, and separates them similarly to earlier, and places them both on the ground next to each other. After doing this he takes the microphone once again, kneels down, and finally begins to speak.
[Bray Wyatt] Finn Balor, your defeat at Roulette was an opportunity. A cleansing. A chance for you to start anew. And yet your own words, as well as the spirits within me tell this is not the case. That my job is not done. And while the spirits have certainly grown restless and the number of men who I have spent months of time on, it seems that the problems within the fools of this land are much more deep-rooted than I or even the celestials had thought at first. And that is why I was called upon to sacrifice myself last week so as to continue my quest. For while ruling the airwaves would certainly help others learn my of my quest, my power is truly strongest when on the path that only I walk.[/b]
[Bray Wyatt] And so Finn Balor, with all illusions of your “demon king” stripped away, your time of reckoning is finally here. You are nothing more than a man who claims to be “stronger than ever”. But is this really the truth? I guess we shall see.
After Wyatt finishes speaking, he throws the microphone and throws his arms out wide. After holding this pose for a few seconds, he begins to cackle, getting louder and louder as time goes on.
[Mauro Ranallo] Bray Wyatt boldly answering Finn Balor’s words from last week, though we shall see whose words ring true. Though one thing’s for certain, I don’t know if I have ever seen Bray Wyatt this dedicated, and a dedicated Bray Wyatt is a very scary individual.
[Corey Graves] You can say that again Mauro.
But before Mauro can repeat himself, the lights in the arena all go off.
[Corey Graves] Oh for…. not this again!
While the lights going off has certainly been commonplace in the war between these two men, when they come back, it seems that nothing has changed. Wyatt is still in the ring, and no one has appeared in the ring.
[Corey Graves] I guess that one may have actually been a malfunction…..?
[Mauro Ranallo] WAIT COREY LOOK!
As Mauro points out to the ring, it seems that Wyatt has noticed what caused Mauro to yell as well. While no man has disappeared from the ring, something certainly has. Wyatt’s lantern remains, but next to it, where Balor’s headdress sat, there is now nothing. As the titantron focuses in on this disappearance, the crowd in the Sprint Center begins to make noise in anticipation of what this may mean, while the last thing we before XWL goes to commercial break is Bray Wyatt, whose face shows a far greater sense of confusion than we would normally expect from him.

The XWL announce team are interrupted as the lights in the arena shut off. The audience is startled as it is now pitch black in the arena.
[Mauro Ranallo] Well this isn't good...
[Corey Graves] I think the arena managers forgot to pay the electric bill! We got a show going on here...
Suddenly, a voice is heard over the PA system. The voice is followed by an unfamiliar tune.

[Corey Graves] What the... Wait! Is that?!
[Mauro Ranallo] You hear the voice, Corey. I think it's time for 'The Bad Boy'!
The lights in the arena are back on now as we see the screens around the arena light up with the words "BAD BOY".
[Corey Graves] What's he doing here?! He's not scheduled to be here until after Breakthrough!
[Mauro Ranallo] This is an intro fit for a Hall of Famer. What's taking him so long?!
[Corey Graves] You obviously don't know Joey Janela. He's all about making an entrance!
As the intro to the theme song finishes, we finally see the man that has made everyone wait.
[Corey Graves] What a treat! We've got a couple weeks but partner, Christmas just came early!
Catching everyone's attention throughout the arena, a beautiful blonde woman walks out onto the stage.
[Mauro Ranallo] That's the woman from the video!
[Corey Graves] Show some respect, Mauro! Everyone knows that's 'The Bad Girl' Penelope Ford.
Hand in hand, Janela and Ford make their way toward the ring.
[Corey Graves] The XWL audience is about to be introduced to one of hottest stars in wrestling today! 'The Bad Boy' is one of the biggest risk-takers, one of the biggest rule breakers in professional wrestling today!
[Mauro Ranallo] Rule Breaker? I'm not sure that's an accolade you want to have in this business.
[Corey Graves] Well the thing about Joey Janela is he doesn't care what you or anyone else think. He's in it to win it and he will throw himself off a roof top or kick you where the sun don't shine to do so.
Janela acts as if he's going to high five a group of kids in the first row, before pulling away his hand at the last second. He makes out with his girlfriend Penelope Ford one more time before stepping up on the apron.
[Mauro Ranallo] I wonder what he's doing here?
[Corey Graves] He's dressed to compete!
[Mauro Ranallo] Looking at my notes here, it looks like just about everyone is booked for tonight.
In the ring, we see Joey Janela face down on the ring mat.
[Corey Graves] Is he... Is he ok?
Suddenly, Janela begins doing unspeakable things to the XWL ring.
[Mauro Ranallo] C'mon! He can't do that. We have children in the audience!
[Corey Graves] ..and Joey Janela does not care.
To his feet, Janela send Penelope Ford to fetch him a microphone. After a few moments 'The Bad Boy' is handed the microphone.
[Mauro Ranallo] I hope the network has their finger on the censor button.
[Corey Graves] Shut up! 'The Bad Boy' is about to speak.
Joey Janela looks out into the buzzing audience before lifting the microphone to speak.
"The Bad Boy" JOEY JANELA Ladies and gentlemen... my name is Joey Janela and I'm a BAD...BAD...BOY!
Janela laughs as he receives a mixed reaction from the audience. He holds out his arms taking in the fans' response. Suddenly, Penelope Ford shrieks in terror. We see fans jump out of their seats, each one cheering someone behind Joey Janela.
As Janela turns around, he is met with a vicious blow to the jaw. Joey Janela falls to the mat. He is unconscious.

[Corey Graves] V-TRIGGER!
[Mauro Ranallo] Good lord! Did you hear that!
[Corey Graves] I think he might have just broken Joey Janela's jaw!
Not even looking at Janela, Omega storms around the ring. He looks like he has a lot on his mind and a lot he wants to say as he picks up the microphone that was once in the hands of 'The Bad Boy' Joey Janela.
Kenny Omega This time a year ago, I told everyone that 2018 would be the year of Kenny Omega. I went into 2018 with a chip on my shoulder. I wanted to prove that the Superstars of XWL could not handle the style and techniques I was bringing with me from Japan. I went into 2018 feeling like I was untouchable... like no one could stop my from reaching my goal of winning the World Heavyweight Championship. I was all over the internet... all over television. Anyone who is anyone begged to interview me. I felt like I was on top of the world... but boy was I wrong.
We see the audience still standing, but they are silent now. Closely listening to what one of their favorite XWL Superstars has to say.
Kenny Omega Sure, I started the year off hot right out of the gate. I defeated Seth Rollins in a Best of Seven Series. I nearly swept him! I then went on to take out Broken Matt Hardy by throwing him off a roof, which I must say... was a tad too extreme! Apologies to Matt. After that is where it all started to go down hill. I ran into a man that in my mind would be a walk in the park. I looked at him as just another match. I lost to Eli Drake in yet another Best of Seven Series. On top of that, I lost my only friends in the Kyohi due to that son of a bitch Jay White! I have not been the same since.
Kenny Omega I was given so many opportunities... so many chances to climb that ladder of success and as you see, I am back where I started. The only difference now is that I have a much lower profile. Hell, just look at the last few events. I haven't been booked for WEEKS! This company has given up on Kenny Omega... but I haven't. Judging by that reaction a few moments ago, I know you people haven't either.
The fans begin to clap and cheer Omega's name. We see this brings a smile to Kenny Omega's face. He continues.
Kenny Omega 2018 will NOT define Kenny Omega. I am going to scratch, claw, FIGHT my way to the top in 2019... and unlike some on the roster with friends in high places, I am going to EARN my spot at the top of the card because I am the whole shebang, I am the alpha, I am the elite of professional wrestling, and I am THE BEST BOUT MACHINE! The time for games...
Omega looks toward the unconscious Joey Janela.

The theme belonging to The Undisputed Era’s resident back breaker Roderick Strong blasts throughout the arena as fans begin to cheer and boo for Strong’s return.
[Mauro Ranallo] Ladies and Gentleman the Messiah of the backbreaker Roderick Strong is back in XWL and he’s making a bold statement interrupting Kenny Omega tonight.
[Corey Graves] Sounds like a wish to get a knee to the jaw if you ask me, He has no right interrupting this man.
Roderick Strong stops at the top of the stage, microphone in hand begins to speak.
Roderick Strong Kenny, Kenny, first off, I want to congratulate you on having a mediocre 2018, you had a few good matches, you threw Matt Hardy off a roof, and you also lost two best of seven series. That’s not a lot coming out of 2018 for “The Best Bout Machine” But where does that put you going into 2019? Now if only you would have stayed with your Japan boys in “Kyohi” you might have had a better 2018. Now my 2018 hasn’t been the best either but come 2019 I will become champion. Even if that means having to go through you first Kenny. Now I have nothing but respect for you but I refuse to sit on the back burner any longer. So, in 3 weeks Breakthrough, Roderick Strong vs Kenny Omega. It’s time to move forward, no longer sitting in the back. What do ya say Kenny?
The crowd cheers at this blockbuster challenge laid out by Roderick Strong. Kenny Omega looks around the ring as the crowd cheers.

[Mauro Ranallo] Momma Mia! Roderick Strong just laid out the challenge of a lifetime.
[Corey Graves] Kenny has every right to not accept that match after the disrespect shown by Roderick. If it were me, I would have turned him down in a heartbeat.

The winning streak - was over. It had only lasted one week, but what a week it was. He had won and now he had lost, but that did not stop him at all, no - it pushed him to better himself more than ever as he was now going to step back into the XWL ring with the man that he had beaten when he made his return. He was going to face Scott Steiner and he was not only going to face him once more, he was going to do what he done all those weeks ago, he was going to beat him.

“Have we not been here before? I feel like - no really I feel like I am getting a little bit of deja vu here. I mean we have seen this match before.”
He raised his hand to his face, his fingers would tap against his chin softly as he allowed his mind to ponder and also with that - wonder. This match - he had done it before had he not? Why would he be right back to where he started, why would he be forced to face a man that he has beaten already.
“We have seen me fight this roided up freak before and we all know the result. I beat him once before and come on - we all know I am going to beat him again. I mean - seriously two weeks has only went by, what has changed. Sure he has pumped more roids into him, he has gotten bigger, but two weeks is not a whole lot of time for him to get better. I mean what has he done since we have parted ways? What has he done since the last time we faced one another, not a whole lot let me tell you that. I know he is a big guy, but come on - he is old - his prime was THIRTY YEARS AGO. Why on earth would i be scared of a man who needs a zimmer frame to get down to the ring. I mean seriously. Anyone else, ANYONE ELSE HERE WOULD BE SCARED, but me, come on now. I ran circles around him - CIRCLES! I was faster than him, better than him and in the end I beat him fair and square and true - I have lost since that match, but that does not mean like him I have become weaker. THE FACTS ARE THERE PEOPLE - I AM CURT HAWKINS, THE MAN THAT BEATS THE WASHED UP STARS OF THE PAST.”
He raised his voice, shouting now as he lost his temper for a moment. He was done with this, he had beaten this man before and easily at that as well, what else was there to be done with it, what else was needed to be proved, he won and he was the better man and yet here he was, instead of moving up the ladder, he was right back down at the bottom of it facing someone who was not worth is time.
“The facts are there people, just pull your head out of the sand and clean your eyes a little bit and you will be able to see them. I HAVE BEATEN THIS MAN BEFORE, I CAN DO IT AGAIN.”
He ran his hand through his hair, to slick his hair back. The lord can be cruel to him at times, he gives and takes away. This roided up monster had been his first victory in YEARS and then he went right back to doing what he became famous for doing, losing! He had turned it all around for himself and then the next week it all slipped through his fingers. He needed to get back on track, he needed to do what he done before, he needed to win. He was ready for this man, he was ready to go out there and do what he does best - beat Scott Steiner.

Curt Hawkins celebrates his victory over Scott Steiner yet again as his music plays and Steiner rolls out of the ring and in clear rampage mode Steiner comes towards the announcer table.
RANALLO Yet another upset by that man right there Curt Hawkins.
GRAVES I think its time to face fact Mauro. That was the 2nd defeat handed to Freakzilla by Curt Hawkins. Not much of an upset now. Steiner yells at the people at ringside who are heckling him yelling you suck at Steiner.
STEINER YOUR MOTHER SUCKS! Steiner grabs one of the steel chairs at ringside and slides by into the ring quickly. Curt Hawkins looking towards the XWL universe still celebrating his victory doesn't notice Steiner slide into the ring with the chair.
RANALLO Oh no this doesn't look good.
Steiner winds up the steel chair behind his head and booms an oblivious Curt Hawkins to the back of the head!
RANALLO Someone get in there and stop that man.
Steiner continues the onslaught by hitting a face into the mat Curt Hawkins in the back with 3 more chair shots. Steiner then deadlifts Curt Hawkins off the mat and german suplexes him. Steiner picks him up again and raises Curt Hawkins high above his head as if Curt Hawkins weighed nothing.
GRAVES Steiner has already put Kurt Angle into an early retirement. Not another XWL superstar. Steiner with Curt Hawkins lifted above his head hurls Hawkins over the top rope into the Announcer table.
RANALLO MY GOODNESS!
Steiner exits the ring towards the announcer table and picks up the very badly hurt Curt Hawkins one more time and climbs on top of the announcer table. Steiner positions Curt Hawkins to give him his signature move the Steiner Screwdriver (Suplex Piledriver). Steiner yells out before delivering the finishing blow to Curt Hawkins.
STEINER WHO'S WASHED UP NOW YOU SON OF A BITCH! Steiner delivers the Steiner Screwdriver to Curt Hawkins on the announce table. With a destroyed announce table and a lifeless Curt Hawkins with help on the way, Steiner yells once more at ringside.
STEINER GIMME A FUCKIN MIC!
Steiner is quickly handed a microphone from a man at ringside. Steiner then climbs the steel steps with the mic in hand and enters the rings. Steiner goes to the center of the ring and begins to talk in angry aggressive tone.
STEINER I come out here knowing I ended Kurt Angle's career. He announced that tonight. But see everyone knows that nobody was watching that bald headed bastard. See I just wanted to beat him up. I didn't want to end his career. But that's the consequences you could possibly serve when you step into the ring with me. This twig Curt Hawkins may be getting lucky and have my number as of late, but that's here nor there. See cause I'm the man with the Largest Arms in the World. I'm the Genetic Freak. I'm Freakzilla. I'm The Big Bad Booty Daddy and this is my asylum. I came here to XWL to get what's mine. That's Championship gold. I already ended the so called Olympic hero. So who's next? That's right I gave that bald headed bastard the worst defeat of his career too. See Curt Hawkins don't want no more of me after tonight as you can see.
Steiner looks over to the destroyed announce table and a lifeless Curt Hawkins as medics arrive.
STEINER So next week, whether my opponent is The World Heavyweight Champion or some Starbucks employee, I'm guaranteeing a beat down. And at the end of it all the Big Bad Booty Daddy will get his arm raised and all you freaks out there will be invited to my Freakshow after my performance.
Steiner tosses the mic as his music hits and XWL Anarchy goes to a commercial.

Suddenly as if it's a case of dejavu for The Scottish Psychopath, someone grabs his foot from outside the ring...AND ITS NONE OTHER THAN MATT SYDAL, THE MAN HE LOCKED INSIDE OF A CRATE TO ENSURE SOMETHING LIKE THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN! But seeing as The Intercontinental Champion has four friends to call upon in his time of need, it's no surprise to us that he's escaped his forced captivity and he's now here to spoil Drew's night. He yanks him by his foot tripping him up, then jumps up onto the apron catching him with a stiff kick to the temple that doubles him over.
Eli seeing his moment a slight smirk come to his face. He quickly picks up Drew to his feet. Eli then bends down reaching between Drew's legs then lifts him onto his back putting him in proper position for THE GRAVY TRAIN! Eli then hops high, and planting Drew for the The Gravy Train. Eli stands to his feet as he looks up to the top turnbuckle closest to him, and sees..
Matt Sydal has ascended the to the skies leaping off with The GOLDEN STAR PRESS crashing down onto Drew with great purpose. Fans cheer as Matt stares down with Eli with McIntyre at their feet as the scene ends.

[Corey Graves] Two incredibly gifted Superstars just tore the roof off this place in a rematch of the first match Anarchy had in 2018.
[Mauro Ranallo] Matt was able to defeat Jeff then when he went by the name "Nero" but now that Hardy is back in true form we saw an entirely different battle from two Men that are at the peak of their performance.
Matt's hand is raised high as his Intercontinental Championship proudly hangs from the other victorious but exhausted.
[Mauro Ranallo] Now back to his Golden roots Matt Sydal is really proving why he is still the Longest Reigning World Heavyweight Champion in XWL History. There's a fight in him that when he's able to channel it, he's virtually unstoppable.
[Corey Graves] It led him to defeat Eli back to back weeks proving himself against the then Champion, but the question is with Drew McIntyre hanging around can he maintain his grasp over The Intercontinental Championship? A title that unlike all the others he'd ever held...he's never successfully been able to retain.
[Mauro Ranallo] I'd say matches like this prove he can.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . *We are around 20 minutes deep into this match-up with neither man looking like they're tiring or about to be beaten any time soon! Suddenly, out of nowhere O'Reilly lands a stiff round house kick to the side of Gable's head, causing the tag team champion to fall to the canvas in a heap! O'Reilly turns to the fans full of confidence and arrogance and shouts "This is your tag team champion?" believing he now has Gable on the ropes for an inevitable victory. He turns back to the downed Gable and reaches for him, but as quick as a cat, Gable somehow hooks O'Reilly forwards and into a small package! The official slides into position:*

*The fans go crazy as Gable quickly rolls out of the ring with his arms held up high in triumph as O'Reilly regains his footing and is infuriated. He rounds on the referee and starts screaming at him in a rage. While all of this is going on Gable has retrieved his title from ringside which O'Reilly had been holding captive since Roulette. It's finally back in his possession! As he retreats up the entrance ramp, he turns and raises the title which only enrages O'Reilly more. He is so livid that he kicks the rope a few times and angrily beckons for Gable to get back into the ring. Of course, Gable does no such thing. He smirks as he revels in O'Reilly's anger, happy that he has one-upped one of his Undisputed Era rivals.*
