7 Hungry Men
With one defense under his belt over Chris Jericho, last week The Intercontinental Champion Eli Drake came out to find out what, or rather who was next. But he was quickly interrupted by The General Manager who announced it was not Eli's decision who would face him, that critical decision was now in the hands of The XWL Universe. They will choose between James Storm, Roderick Strong, Pete Dunne, Daniel Bryan, Finn Balor, Kenny Omega, and JBL's new protege Drew McIntyre. How will these superstars react tonight to the news of their potential Championship Match at Cyberslam? All 7 of them will be in action, as they square off with each other throughout several matches all with an opportunity to secure your votes.

WHO truly is "The Baddest"
Last week Paul Heyman returned to XWL, signifying what we believed was the return of his infamous client Brock Lesnar. Except one critical detail, he interrupted Sasha Banks & Liv Morgan. He professed that he was here on behalf of his NEW cleint Ronda Rousey with a challenge to The Boss for her to be her first opponent in XWL, at Cyberslam! After a few choice words from The Boss and her new bestie the challenge was accepted. The question is, who's calling themselves the "baddest" and who actually is?


A "Ruff" Encounter
Matt Sydal's quest to once again become "The Golden One" landed himself against The Returning "Big Dog" Roman Reigns in singles action. Roman didn't see a challenge when he looked at The Longest Reigning World Heavyweight Champion in XWL History...he saw a "high flying chihuahua." After managing to defeat Sydal, Matt being the sportsman he is offered a handshake even after hearing Roman's earlier comments. But instead of shaking his hand, Roman patted him on the head like a child which led to a sudden Here It Is Driver from Matt Sydal, and a challenge for a rematch at Cyberslam. Will Roman accept?

Competition Bleeds Into Chaos
The saga between Number One Contenders Chris Jericho, and Johnny Gargano has been volatile to say the least, bitterness and anger have consumed Gargano ever since Jericho stole Johnny's #20 spot in The Final Stand-Off it's darkened him. Because after all he endured with The Miz he's not going to ever allow himself to be put in that position ever again. But on that night where he defeated Jericho and earned his spot into the match at Cyberslam making it a Triple Threat, he took that competitive edge he's displayed thus far and amplified it laying out The World Champion Dean Ambrose as a statement. But last week after a war of words between the challengers and things began to turn physical, suddenly the crack of a steel chair silenced everyone as standing over Gargano was The Champ himself. Dean vowed no more games, and that he'd tap into another side of himself and it's safe to say intends to make good on that promise based on his actions last week.

Time To Re-Visit The War
At Warzone in The Inaugural XWL Tag Team Championship match between The Trash City Stupid Idiots (Chad Gable & Chris Sabin) enemies turned allies. And The Alpha Club (Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens) two of the trio looking to prove their superiority in all of XWL. History was not without controversy as the third man in the group Sami Zayn interfered, leading to a handful of tights and the crowning of The First Ever XWL Tag Team Champion The Alpha Club. But last week with an opportunity for Gable & Sabin to each go one on one with Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn they made the most of that opportunity picking up victories that would set the course for what they would say after the fact. They wanted a rematch, and they want it at Cyberslam. With a post match attack by The Alpha Club following that challenge, have they accepted? We hope to find out tonight as once again they'll all square off in singles action, this time with both halves of the champions.

Bray's about to capitalize off of Sydal's high risk not paying off.

That Shooting Star Press has sealed the deal for Matt on countless occasions, but Wyatt rolling out of the way has perhaps secured him this victory.

As Bray pulls a fatigued Matt Sydal to his feet, he starts to scoop him in for what looks to be the end, The Sister Abigail. He holds this position very intently, perhaps sending a message to none other than Kyle O'Reilly that this is the fate he will suffer at Cyberslam. As he lowers his head to kiss Matt on the forehead, the emphatic kiss of death...Matt suddenly slips through his grasp, then as Wyatt turns around, Matt nearly caves in his jaw with a HUGE jumping high knee that immediately sends The Eater of Worlds crumbling to the mat.

Matt got ALL of that knee!

I think it might be more appropriate to say Bray Wyatt's the one that got ALL of that knee.

Matt's got Bray right where he wants him, it may not have worked out moments ago, but he's certain the second time will be the charm that ends this match. Matt steps out onto the apron then begins to climb the turnbuckle, ready go attempt The Shooting Star Press again. But as soon as he reaches his perch up high, Wyatt rushes to his feet perhaps off adrenaline alone and begins to pummel The Longest Reigning World Heavyweight Champion with fists that fly in faster than Sydal can even attempt to block. This fury is never ending, and it's causing Matt to slip lower and lower as each blow comes in. But the referee doesn't approve of this, he's got Matt technically in the corner and he needs to let him out. So he starts counting, ordering Wyatt to stop. He doesn't heed his count at first, seemingly out to prove a point with his massacre of O'Reilly's fellow Undisputed Era brother. But as the referee reaches 4, he doesn't ask anymore, he asserts his position pushing Wyatt back far from Matt nearly to the other side of the ring telling him off for not listening to him.

But as this goes on, KYLE O'REILLY comes out from under the ring, hops up onto the apron, and passes something to Matt who in his state of daze merely slips onto his hand perhaps out of sheer instinct. With a pat on his shoulder as if to say "give 'em hell" he drops back down unbeknownst to Wyatt or the referee and hides out of plain view as Wyatt finally pushes past the official to resume his mauling. But as he starts to charge at Sydal, Matt launches himself off the top rope....WITH A LITERAL SUPERMAN PUNCH!

AND WYATT IS OUT!

Bray out cold from Matt's wicked punch collapses to the mat as Sydal appears to chuck something out of the ring before hooking Bray's leg and the referee counts.

Almost symbolic in a way, Kyle O'Reilly has once again cost Wyatt against Sydal with the aide of no doubt a pair of brass knuckles when the referee was distracted.

If you ask me Wyatt brought it on himself, he attacked Matt before the match to send a message to Kyle O'Reilly, and Kyle sent that message right back at him with a blast from the past.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The Undisputed Era using this opportunity to send their own messages to their opponents at Cyberslam, it should be interesting to see how each of their matches go.

Matt quickly rolls out of the ring forgoing the referee raising his hand as Kyle pulls him in for a brotherly hug patting him on the back shouting "THAT'S RIGHT, BEST RIGHT HOOK IN THE GAME!" Pulling away to grab Matt by his wrist and flashing a grin. The two then make their way up to the stage before turning back toward the ring, and Kyle steps in front of Matt dropping to his knees, mocking Wyatt as he throws his arms out just as Bray usually does. And while his mocking transpires, Matt takes this moment to throw up The "U E" gesture with his hands as the scene closes out.

XWL cuts to backstage where we see New Jack sitting down sharpening a knife next to a shopping cart filled with weapons and a garbage can filled with weapons about to be approached by a brave Renee Young.

Renee Young
Excuse me New Jack do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions.

The camera pans to New Jack as a message appears at the bottom of the screen

THE VIEWS OF NEW JACK ARE NOT THOSE OF XWL OR THIS STATION.

New Jack
DO I MIND?!?!? DO I MIND?!?!?!

New Jack rolls his eyes and has a menacing look on his face.

New Jack
Go ahead ask ya questions. Cause just like always New Jack is gonna cut it to you raw and uncut.

The camera zooms out enough to where we the viewer see Renee and New Jack.

Renee Young
Alrighty i’ll be straight to the point then.  What are the plans for New Jack here in XWL.

New Jack
 The plan is to beat all these suckas in the locker room senseless.  I’ve been given my match type for multiple weeks.  Extreme rules baby.

New Jack smiles big as he is happy with the stipulations of his matches since he came to XWL.

New Jack
That’s right! NO RULES! And when you’re in a fight with New Jack, you just never know what you’re gonna get.  Whether thats a steel chair to the head or a baseball bat to the back.  The end result is gonna be the same. New Jack getting his.

Renee Young
You have been undefeated since you came to XWL.  Does that 0 in your record make you at all nervous in your matches.

New Jack
THE HELL WOULD NEW JACK GET NERVOUS FOR?  THE XWL LOCKER ROOM IS A BUNCH OF PUNKS, AND I’M CALLING WHOEVER WANTS TO GET THEY FACE BEATEN LIKE A BUTCHER OUT.  AFTER CYBERSLAM, NEW JACK IS ACCEPTING ALL REQUESTS, SO COME AT ME MOTHERFUCKERS AND YOU END UP IN A MORGUE.

New Jack face looks as though he is insane.

New Jack
You think New Jack ever lost a fight Renee?  HELL NO!  I May get pinned 1 2 3 one day.  But I ain’t ever going to be put down until the day I die.  There’s one thing that you always gotta remember.

Renee Young
What would that be?

New Jack
Whether I jump out of the bushes with a baseball bat or a frying pan, New Jack always has the last laugh.  Now, get this damn camera out of my face.

New Jack smacks the camera out of the camera guys hands as the screen goes staticy and goes to a camera of the ring.

Eli stands to his feet, and look of determination is glued upon on his face as he looks out into the crowd.

With Eli being on a roll this much whoever gets to face him at CyberSlam better be in for the fight of their life, because ladies, and gentlemen Eli si ready for anything..

[Mauro Ranallo]
I couldn't agree more Corey...

A ref walks over to Eli, and hands him his title. He stands in the middle of the ring, and raises it up high. His eyes look up the ramp as if he is waiting for something or someone.

They are to scared to come face to face!

The last thing we see is Eli laughing to himself as he is holding up his title looking up the ramp as the screen darkens to black thus ending the show.
