| XWL Press Release Regarding World Heavyweight Championship Match At Digital Decision
The Rock defeated Sheamus, Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio at Unforgiven to become the XWL World Heavyweight Champion. Since claiming this prestigious title, numerous superstars have expressed interest in being his next challenger. CM Punk expressed interest, but he of course has chosen to not be a part of this event for personal reason which XWL has respectfully accepted. Sheamus has thrown a few verbal jabs at the new champion, however even with his recent streak of wins as of late, we've decided against him receiving a shot. Instead we've taken a deep look at the XWL roster, seen numerous superstars' interest in getting this opportunity. But we've also looked at some personal obstacles The Rock has had to overcome. Superstars MVP & Batista have been more than vocal about The XWL World Heavyweight Champion, so much so that we feel the fans would love to see MVP & The Rock go at it one more time, but this time for the most prestigious title in all of XWL.
So with the general managers in agreement, we're announcing as of now MVP will meet The Rock at Digital Decision for the XWL World Heavyweight Championship! With this announcement we understand a normal XWL official will just not do. Batista, and MVP have both interfered in matches involving the champion when it involved the other individual. Our referees' haven't been able to keep this action under control which is why we've enlisted the best referee candidate that we feel will be unbiased and be able to keep the situation under control should it need it. We're now announcing Mr. Money In The Bank, Rob Van Dam will be the special guest referee! But this leaves one last question, what will YOU the fans have as voting options? We've spoken to both men as well as the Breakdown General Manager, Mick Foley and we've come up with three options for a diverse and unique selection.
A. MVP's associate Batista will be banned from ringside
B. Only MVP will be allowed to use weapons
C. The match will be under a 2 out of 3 falls stipulation
