As the Grand Master Sexy celebrates the first victory of the night we are brought backstage where we see the returning Austin Aires.

August Fifth, Boston Massachusetts, Supremacy, I challenged any two XWL wrestlers that thought that they were the best that this industry had to offer to prove it by wrestling A Double... Their names aren't important because the fact of the matter is they didn't win, I did. Each and every person in this arena remembers my hand being raised on that night but do me a favor and try racking your single track, short term, sad excuse for a memory and tell me who the two men that fell victim to the inevitable were? Not that easy huh? You see no one remembers the loser because there's no such thing as second place in this business. Everyone knows this, but there are only a handful great enough to do something about it, and well, I'm the Greatest Man That Ever Lived, so I choose to do something about it, I choose to train day and night and become the greatest at every aspect of professional wrestling, I choose to win and keep on winning and winning and winning some more until I was practically handed a World Title shot. Some people said that I didn't deserve that shot, other said that I wasn't ready, but I didn't listen to the talk because that's all it was, talk, factless talk, and the fact was I refused to lose. So as soon as I entered that Elimination Chamber and looked around at my opponents all dressed up in their cowboy hats, branded wristbands, and flamboyant scarves I knew that I not only deserved that title shot, I was the only one who deserved it. I was the only man in that chamber that truly represented what a champion should be. So when my pod opened up I wasn't surprised that it took the collaboration of John Cena, Joey Ryan, and James Storm to stop my momentum. I wasn't surprised that I had to do all the work, taking out Cena, pinning Rhodes, only to turn around into a cheap shot super kick from Joey Ryan to be eliminated. But that's just apart of the game right? Sometimes the best man doesn't win. And you know what? I don't even need a title to prove that I'm The Greatest Man That Ever Lived.

All it takes is one look to know that I'm the real deal. One suplex, one armdrag, one move and you'll know just how good I really am. So pay close attention tonight when I go one on one with Samoa Joe, because there's always something to be learned from A Double, Austin Aries.

As the supershow returns from a commercial break we’re taken to a dark arena backstage where MsChif awaits to deliver what will no doubt be a chilling message. MsChif has been hunting Nikki for months for her antics with her twin sister Brie, and after single-handedly doing away with Lita by giving her a concussion and Michelle by making her disappear into the darkness. Nikki now has no one else to distract this twisted women from getting her hands on her final victim. Though Nikki doesn’t see herself as such and she believes that MsChif will forever regret the day that she went after her.



MsChif
Nikki Bella, this little game of cat and mouse has been dragging on for FAR too long. I’ve gotten tired of allowing you to roam these hallways with that smug little smile on your face thinking that you’re the greatest thing to happen to women’s wrestling… fooling yourself into thinking that you’re safe. But I see the fear behind that smile, I can see that every moment that you’re allowed to live in peace is one that you’re grateful for because you never knew what it meant to be afraid of the dark until you crossed paths with me.



MsChif
I got Lita out of the way, Nikki, I gave Michelle I little vacation… what makes you think that you’ll be okay? What makes you delude yourself into believing that you won’t end up being just another tormented soul? You’re time has come, and your days of meddling will be over once I’m finished with you because at X-Treme X-mas we’ll be going to head to head to settle this once and for all. You want your freedom? You want your safety? You want your life back? Then you’re going to have to EARN it in the fight of your life.



MsChif
And don’t misconstrue what this is, because it’s not a challenge, Nikki, I’m TELLING you what will happen and if you know what’s good for you then you won’t risk the danger of me having to come find you. At X-Treme X-mas we won’t be in the ring, no, there’s too many exits Nikki, too many ways out and when your fears brews a concoction with your adrenaline then there’s no doubt that you’ll try your hardest to seek a way out and I won’t give you that opportunity.



MsChif
There’ll be a room backstage, Nikki, just for the two of us. It’ll be as barren as your heart and as cold as mine and we will fight until one of us can’t stand anymore. The walls, the floor, your body…. Those will be the only weapons available and they’ll serve their purpose well. There won’t be anywhere for you to hide, Nikki, nowhere for you to run, no referee for you to hide behind and no sister for you to ask for help. This will be our final encounter and I’ll do everything in my power to make sure that I craft an experience that even in the new year will haunt your dreams and paralyze you in dread when you’re awake. Mercy is no longer an option.

The screen fades to black and only the sound of MsChif’s voice is heard speaking over some bone-chilling music.

The blood drips in the hourglass foreshadowing an event most satisfying.
No longer will the line that separates right and wrong at your will be bent.
A demise brought to those being led to their graves full of sorrow and crying
Their souls all gleefully sentenced to an eternity of suffering and torment.

*This weeks Breakdown Supershow returns from a video package highlighting tonight's matches before a video begins to play on the Titantron. Whether it was recorded moments ago or earlier in the week is still a mystery, but it show Dean Ambrose staring intently at the camera before beginning to speak.*



{Dean Ambrose}
It's always something, isn't it? You always have something up your sleeve. If it's not security guards, it's taxis waiting for you outside of the arena. I have devised a plan to get my hands on you, Ziggler, I have devised a plan that has already been set in motion. You won't know when, and you won't know where, but I will hurt you went that moment comes. I will give you credit where credit is due though, you have been successful in evading me these past few weeks. Is that the best thing you do, run like a coward? We know “wrestling” is the fifth best thing you do, if you can even call that wrestling.



{Dean Ambrose}
Vickie can't save you, security guards can't save you, taxi cab drivers can't save you, the second I have you in my cross hairs, there is no escape. You can only hope to delay the inevitable but even doing that won't stop you from feeling the pain I felt from twenty seven years of having the world kick me when I was down. I will unleash all the pain, and all the hate that I have bottled up inside, so keep running, run as far as you possibly can, it'll make the moment I end your career a lot better.



{Dean Ambrose}
When I was growing up on the streets of Cincinnati, I knew this guy, well, more like I hated him. That didn't come without reason, I'm not going to sugarcoat it, he was a drug dealer, and everyday I would have to walk past him to make it to my home and every time he saw me, he would try to make me push his drugs onto other blocks. If I were to try to decline, he would beat me up and force me to do his dirty work. Then one day, when I was in a bit of a bad mood, he decided to push me a bit too far and I snapped, he got a bit overconfident and I hit him across the skull with a brick. Let's just say that no one messed with me since then. He may not remember me, but I sure as hell remember him.



{Dean Ambrose}
I wasn't sure if you were just scared of taking an ass kicking from me or if you were just a few steps ahead, last week, that was put to rest. The split second our eyes met, I saw something in your eyes that told me what I needed to know about you, Ziggler. Your charade almost worked, but what I saw in your eyes wasn't confidence, it was fear. Fear is the mind killer, or so I'm told, I have never experienced fear in my life and judging by how it looked by your reaction last week, I'd say that's a good thing.



{Dean Ambrose}
Your pride has blinded you from your future, your pride has betrayed you yet again. It doesn't allow you to see what I see, what other people see. Your pride was always going to lead to your fall from grace, and I have decided to take it upon myself to make sure your fall back to reality will be as brutal as possible. You fail to realize that fate has already dictated your demise, or maybe you already know and you continue to lie to yourself and say that it's not going to happen.



{Dean Ambrose}
All it's going to take is one bullet, just one, and your pathetic career will cease to exist. The record books will show that Dean Ambrose single handedly ended the career of Dolph Ziggler. If you and I were to step into that ring one on one, I know, you know, and everybody knows that you're screwed, there's no way around it. Just give up now, quit while you're ahead, if not, you're career will come crashing down fast, and there isn't a damn thing you could do about it.



{Dean Ambrose}
The clock is ticking, Ziggler, the sand in the hourglass is running out, and time is not on your side. Your career won't end with a bang, it'll end with a whimper, I'll make sure of it.

*Ambrose walks out of the shot before returning to where he was standing a moment ago and looking at the camera.*

Show... Off!



*He continues looking into the camera before walking out of view as the video continues to play for a second before abruptly ending and fading into a video package for XWL's Foxy Diva, Alicia Fox.*

Returning from a short break XWL returns with the theme tune of a superstar that is greeted with a reception of boo's





After entering the ring Carlito simply waits a good 30-40 seconds until there is no noise coming from the audience.

[{Carlito}]
Thats right, when I speak I expect silence because thats respectful to those greater than you. I thought it would be nice for you all to see me once again before I come out later on tonight for my match with David Otunga. First things first who even is David Otunga? Were shortly coming up to X-treme X-mas and yet again i've been put up to fight off another jobber. I signed my contract here at XWL on the week of the last PPV so even I justified not being placed on that one. But a little caribbean birdy told me that Carlito wasn't booked for this PPV aswell. Well, if anybody has been hibernating this past month due to us coming up to winter i'll remind you of the events you have missed. Firstly. Carlito came out here to the XWL universe and was given as much respect as a guy who's walked into your house on christmas day and taken a piss all over your tree. Then. I made my presence heard in the ring when I brushed Epico off quite easily and even untill now I don't think I've heard anything from him. Then I was given Evan Bourne the washed up has been thinking that my calls had been answered so I brushed him off with ease aswell showing just everyone what I could do to a former XWL world champ. Then we all saw the XWL universe reunite there lips to the backside of MVP when he intruded me on my air time. So after asking him to settle it like men and being denied I had to slash his tyre's which he then went on to make a mockery of Carlito by buying a new car instead. So then when I stepped in the ring with R-Truth I sent a message to MVP who when asked to step in with me after I'd just competed and wasn't at my best he still refused.



[{Carlito}]
So not only acting like a coward, MVP seems to be trying to play games with Carlito. Well if thats how you want to do it MVP then I say lets do it. But just a warning for when your put into rehabilitation because you can't remember who you are and because your spines broken in two. Don't say I didn't warn you. But back to my original point, we will come back to that little pest in just a short moment. My point of reminding you all of what I've done in such a small amount of time is to what avail has it come to? I have constantly come out here and given up my time to stand in front you creatures and trying my hardest not to puke everywhere I should be given some sort of reward. But seriously, this little win streak I have going may not seem like much now but it continues to grow maybe then will everybody start to realize that I'm a growing and unstoppable force here in XWL. So I'm going to warn you all now, even you the board of XWL, I'm coming here at X-treme X-mas if I'm booked or not, and if you make the foolish decision not to book me. I'm going to make my presence known in a different way.



[{Carlito}]
Now, yes now thats off my chest we can return back the annoying pest you idiots for some reason hail the ground he walks on. He probably bribes you with all his money he constantly brags about. I think maybe just one day soon he may realize that money isn't everything, and if he doesn't realize that soon enough my god I'll show him instead by proving that money can't help you beat or stop Carlito. But yeah thats right. MVP doesn't want to fight Carlito does he. I mean I found this picture the other night when I was driving home from the gym and I think it fits MVP's attitude towards me just perfectly. Here take a look.

Carlito turns to look up at the titantron where a picture he has badly edited himself appears.



Some of the audience can be heard laughing but it is soon drowned out by Carlito making chicken noises and laughing to himself as he seems to be proud of his work.

[{Carlito}]
You see, everybody can see just how much of a chicken MVP really is and it's not just me. However, I have come up with a very reasonable conclusion that mirror his absence of integrity to actually come and fight me. The conclusion starts with how much MVP likes to shout that he is much better than me and that he doesn't want to lower his standards in order to fight me. Well the matter of the fact is that actually MVP has noticed that I've only been in XWL for a month and i'm already growing into one of the most promising superstars there is. He's seen how I can handle the mic and how I can handle any opponent thrown at me, I know for a fact that he is simply buying time to try get his fat ass back into shape because while i've been here being a god of the wrestling world he's been sailing on his yachts and drinking himself into an early grave. Well if thats the reason MVP just tell me. I'm a fair man and I'll give you the time you need but please bare in mind that i'm not going to reach any sort of plato any time soon. You've seen me back my words up each week with my performances and now realized that i'm not just out of your league i'm at least 10 leagues above you. And your not going to worm your way out of Carlito's way that easy. Oh no don't you worry, so once again this week if I need to grab your attention I will do and I have done. Thats right, your car may be easily replaced but your custom made bling which during my research I stumbbled across that the tack you wear around your neck is a one of a kind and only one in the world. Thats why if you would all ever so kindly look up at the titantron for me I have put together a small film for everyone before I go.

Carlito walks back into the back where he is followed by a camera crew recording his every move which is projected live onto the titantron for everybody to see.

Carlito is seen walking backstage and violently pushing anybody in his way to the ground. He continues to walk to where some construction work is undergo and it seems that a local building company are replacing a few XWL lights. Carlito takes a hammer from the toolbox and smiles at the camera. Carlito is continued to be followed until we reach a dark area where the nightvision settings on the camera are needed. Carlito knocks on a door and waits for a response. When there is none he slowly opens a door we can now see is MVP's changing room which is currently vacant. Carlito is seen looking through a few of MVP's bags and dressing room cabinets until he walks out with the 'bling' earlier talked about is around his neck. The camera crew follow Carlito out into the parking lot where the sound of Carlito is not fully picked up but we lip read him saying 'This is a message for you MVP' and Carlito throws down MVP's 'bling' and uses the hammer he picked up earlier to repeatedly smash it into tiny pieces untill he walks up to the camera and we hear every word he has to say this time

[{Carlito}]
NOW THATS COOL

Carlito can be heard laughing to himself as he walks back inside the XWL backstage area as the show cuts off to the next segment of the show

*Breakdown returns from a short advertisement for X-treme X-mas before being taken backstage where Chris Sabin is shown sitting in a chair, looking away from the camera, almost as if his mind is wondering somewhere else, before shifting his attention and begins to speak.*



{Chris Sabin}
I wasn't going to do this but there's a few things I needed to get off my chest. For those of you who don't know, I'm Chris Sabin, half of the greatest tag team this world has ever seen, the Motor City Machine Guns, and half of the XWL Ersatz Tag Team Champions. I don't normally do these interviews by myself but Alex is busy preparing for his match against Daniel Bryan later on in the evening and I decided to sit here and address you, the XWL universe.



{Chris Sabin}
A lot of people may not remember what happened at Supremacy back in August but I, I will never forget it. It's almost as if the lasting image of that night will never go away, no matter how much I try to block it out. What I'm talking about is how my opponent tonight, Antonio Cesaro, and his former partner in Kassius Ohno, then known as the Kings of Wrestling, took me out before I could be revealed as Alex's partner in the tag match later on that night.



{Chris Sabin}
Alex tried his best to find a partner but unfortunately, he couldn't, and was forced to take on the Kings by himself. He has a lot of heart, a lot of passion, but that couldn't stop the vicious beatdown delivered by the Kings. I watched the events from the trainers room, helpless, there was nothing I could do but watch. From that day, I made a promise to myself that I would not let what happened to my best friend that night, happen ever again.



{Chris Sabin}
Tonight is the perfect opportunity to return the favor to Cesaro. You tried to end my career back at Supremacy and as you can see, you failed. Tonight is not about fun and games, it's not about jokes, it's about getting revenge on you from not only making my life a living hell, but also for all those unprovoked attacks on Alex.



{Chris Sabin}
Tonight I get to an opportunity to right the wrongs, an opportunity for a bit of revenge on Cesaro for trying to take me out, an opportunity to clear my conscience for not being able to help Alex all those months ago. A loss tonight to you will mean nothing, I'm not going out there for a match, I'm going out there for a fight.

*Sabin removes the small mic on his shirt collar and rises to his feet, walking out of the view of the camera as the video fades to black.*

The Supershow returns from wherever it once was before this segment gets going and MVP is seen talking off-screen to somebody.

MVP
…this isn’t me trying to brag because I let my actions do the talking for me, if you know what I mean. I’m sure you’ve heard this before but I’m unlike any other man you’ve ever had the pleasure to lay your eyes on. Keyword: man, because from what I’ve seen in my few weeks back in this company we’ve got a lot of boys up in here trying to act tough but when push comes to shove they shrink under the pressure and the glare of the spotlight and eventually they fade away opening up some room for stars like me to shine.

MVP smiles at the person he’s looking at out of the camera’s view as he adjusts his glasses and runs a hand over his head.

MVP
I bask in the spotlight; I LIVE for the spotlight because guys like me were born to preform and when the ball ends up in my court I sink that game-winning three. I know what it takes to get to the top in this business, I’ve been to the top and I won’t rest until I get to the top of the mountain. I know, I know, that sounds cliché, but it’s the truth. A man of my caliber belongs nowhere BUT at the top, and once I get going there won’t be a man alive who will be able to slow me down. It’s a shame that Carlito can’t quite understand that and so he keeps begging and pleading for me to have a match with him when I’d just as soon wear a wrinkled suit to a red carpet affair.

MVP shudders at the thought and the camera finally zooms out so the audience can catch a glimpse of who he’s talking to and it ends up being two models. The women run their hands along the length of MVP’s arms to comfort him.

MVP
Just look at the guy-- his hair, his clothes-- it’s clear he’s in the wrong profession. He won’t get anywhere in XWL with his abilities BUT all he needs to do is throw some face paint on and parents will blow up his phone trying to get him to book him for their kid’s birthday party. Now that’s a job that would be perfect for a guy like him. As for me? I’m right where I belong where I can kick some heads in by day and hang out with lovely ladies like you two by night. As XWL’s highest paid athlete I can take you to five-star restaurants, beautiful hotels, and by you the kind of jewelry that beautiful women like you deserve.

The women giggle as MVP lays on thick. They continue running their hands all over him until he clears his throat as something pops into his head.

MVP
Speaking of jewelry, there’s something that I need to get from my locker room and then we can be on our way to begin the greatest night you will ever have. This way, ladies.

MVP leads the way as he walks down the hallway towards his locker room unaware of what Carlito did to his chains. They get to his locker room and MVP goes to put the key in the lock only to find out that the door was left slightly ajar. MVP tucks the key back into his pants pocket and slowly removes his glasses and hangs them off his suit jacket. MVP tells the women to wait outside the room and when they try to stop him from entering the room, MVP tells them to be quiet and assures them that everything will be okay.

MVP opens the door slowly and switches on the lights. The main room is empty and MVP walks through and peaks into the bathroom that appears to be all clear too. MVP lets out a big breath as everything appears to be okay and he doesn’t look as tense as he did before. He walks over to where he has his bags rested and he shuffles around inside but doesn’t find what he’s looking for. He searches in the outer pockets of the bag but to no avail.

Getting a little frustrated now is MVP as he takes the bag and holds it upside down spilling out its contents all over the locker room floor. Out falls MVP’s attire, a pack of the tape he keeps over his nose, a beard brush, a backup pair of sunglasses, and various other electronic appliances, but not what he was looking for: his ‘bling’ as Carlito likes to call it. By now MVP knows what’s up. He chuckles and shakes his head then he throws down his bag and storms out of the room. The two models follow him down the hallway until MVP stops abruptly and turns to face the camera.



MVP
So this is what it comes down to Carlito? In your sad sad attempt to get me into the ring you go and steal my one of a kind customized chains? I guess you expect me to storm over to Vickie Guerrero’s office and demand to fight you right here, right now to get my revenge, huh? Well that’s not the way it works when you deal with MVP. You keep talking about how I’ll just be another victim and it’s that kind of talk that makes me not want to get into the ring and embarrass you. I’m not out here to partake in some petty little feud, I’m here to get paid and win titles and I can’t accomplish either of those by wasting my time with you.



MVP
I’ve scratched and clawed and fought and bled my way through my nine year stint in prison and then I moved on to become one of the most prominent and dominant figures in pro-wrestling and I’m supposed to be impressed and intimidated by a guy who’s claim to fame is beating a washed up Evan Bourne in a match nobody was watching? I’ve faced and beaten the best on both U.S. soil and overseas in Japan and when I look at you I don’t see a threat, I don’t see someone who could give me a run for my money, I see a joke, a disgrace. I see a man who got his 15 seconds of fame when I interrupted what was probably the most painful segments of the year and now that you’re starting to get some attention around here you’ve latched onto me like a possessed ex-girlfriend because once I’m out of the picture nobody will give a damn about you.



MVP
When you came back people thought you were just another waste of a roster spot, they were waiting for the news of your firing a month or so down the road. Nobody was impressed by your wins; nobody was listening to you speak; nobody thought that you’d amount to anything. When I came back ratings spiked and people were talking about how I was destined to be a champion. That’s the difference between you and me, Carlito, I’m held to a higher standard because I compete at a higher level and whether you want to admit it or not you’ve hit your peak and there’s not a single person that would miss you if you packed your bags and left XWL right now.



MVP
I’m not going to give you the opportunity to use me to make a name for yourself, so you can keep my chains. Hang it on your wall as a reminder of the greatest two weeks in your career when you actually mattered. Now that people realize that a match between the two of us will never happen they’re going to stop paying attention and start clicking through the channels whenever you pop up on their screen… just like old times.



MVP
I’ve wasted enough of my breath on you Carlito and now it’s time to just accept that me being MVP of this company means that I’m better than you. I’m not afraid of you, I’m not threatened by you… if anything I’m amused by your little childish games. I was under the impression that I would be dealing with men, but I guess that would be too much to expect from someone like you. Carlito, you can keep on plotting, in some dark basement by candlelight, ways you think you’ll get me to fight you but as you can all see I have two fine women to keep me entertained tonight and much better things to do than worry about you.

MVP smiles and walks away with the camera continuing to tail him. The ballin’ superstar steps into the parking lot and something he sees out of the corner of his eyes stops MVP dead in his tracks. MVP walks to where the remnants of his chains lay broken in pieces with in the middle of the road. MVP kicks a hammer to the side and drops down to his knees and picks up the pieces of his chains and stars at them in the palm of his hand. The camera pans over so that we can see MVP from the front and something flashes across his face: a look of anger… of pure fury… and then just like that it’s gone. MVP gets to his feet with a smirk on his face and dusts the dirt off his knees then he wraps his arms around the models and walks to wherever his car is. The screen fades to black with the last thing being shown on the screen are the pieces of the destroyed chains.

*As Breakdown continues Justin Roberts is stood in the ring*

Justin Roberts: Ladies and Gentlemen, put your hands together for Santa Claus!

*As he finishes introducing him, Christmassy music begins to play through the PA system*



*As Santa Claus walks out on to the stage he's carrying a large red bag over his shoulder as a section of the crowd cheer for him*

Jim Ross: Well it's the final Breakdown before Christmas, and now we're being joined by Santa Claus.

Michael Cole: Now I love Santa as much as the next guy, but he's a week early.

*As Santa walks down to the ring he starts handing out the latest XWL DVD's and t-shirts of various XWL stars to the fans*

Jerry "the King" Lawler: Do you think he left his Reindeer outside?

Michael Cole: I'm guessing he took the bus.

Jerry "the King" Lawler: You're probably right, I doubt he'd be able to get a parking permit for them anyway. But it's great to see Santa nonetheless. Do you think he's brought any of his little helpers with him?

*When he reaches ringside Santa walks around the ring making sure all the fans in the first row gets a present*

Jim Ross: Little helpers or not, Santa's spreading the Christmas joy tonight, giving gifts out to the crowd.

Michael Cole: Why haven't we got any?

Jerry "the King" Lawler: Well I know why you haven't got anything Cole.

*When Santa enters the ring Justin Roberts hands him a microphone as the Christmas music fades out*

Santa Claus: Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas everyone!

*Santa gets a cheap pop from the crowd*

Santa Claus: Even though Christmas isn't until next week, jolly old Saint Nick thought now was just as good of a time as any to spread some holiday joy here in Seattle. Now I know that in XWL you celebrate the holidays a little differently, but that's not going to stop Santa from coming out here and shaking my belly like a bowl full of jelly.

*A small section of the crowd start to chant "Santa, Santa, Santa" however it's a very small section of the crowd and can barely be heard*

Santa Claus: But first Santa needs to know who of all of you boys and girls have been nice and who has been naughty...

*At that moment Santa is cut off by the theme of the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels blasting through the PA system which is met by a sea of boos from the crowd*



*As Shawn walks out onto the stage the boos only grow louder for HBK*

Jerry "the King" Lawler: Well he did mention the naughty list, and well Shawn's always said he's the headliner hasn't he.

Michael Cole: Is that supposed to be funny, Jerry? I bet Shawn's just coming down to spread the Christmas cheer, yeah I'm sure that's what he's doing.

*Walking down to the ring Shawn holds his arm up above his head and pointing at himself with the other*

Jim Ross: After the past week weeks I'm not so sure he has any cheer left to spread, ever since November to Remember Shawn hasn't bee able to shake DiBiase. And even though DiBiase is without a contract, he still managed to cost Shawn his match last week.

Michael Cole: Wrongfully too, Shawn had that match as good as won, then that little jerk stuck his nose where it doesn't belong!

Jerry "the King" Lawler: The same thing could be said for Michaels at November to Remember when he cost DiBiase his contract.

*Shawn enters the ring under the bottom rope and brushes past Santa to get a microphone of his own*

Michael Cole: You could say that King, but you'd be wrong! Shawn's had very right to do that, let me assure you. As my best friend, Shawn let's me in the little details that guys like you two just aren't privy of.

Jim Ross: Well why don't you just let us in on this information then Cole.

Michael Cole: I'd love to JR, but I pinky swore that I wouldn't.

*When Shawn's music slowly fades out the boos continue from the crowd as Shawn stares at Santa*

Shawn Michaels: You're just the guy I've been looking for, of course you're here in Seattle, because as everyone knows Santa Claus has a soft spot for the Rainy city.. Well I guess somebody has to.

*The crowd boo as Shawn slates their hometown*

Santa Claus: Well it is the gateway to Alaska.

*Shawn looks confused at Santa's comment by but he just blows it off, focusing on why he came out to the ring*

Shawn Michaels: No, it's ok, I get how this works...I know your secret.

*Unknowing the what HBK to referring to Santa replies in confusion*

Santa Claus: Secret? What secret?

*Shawn looks unimpressed as Santa keeps to his secret and he tries to trick it out of him*

Shawn Michaels: You know... THE SECRET.

*Santa stands there befuddled still not knowing what he's alluding too*

Shawn Michaels: You know, that you're not real. Santa isn't real.

*Santa looks offended at Shawn's outrageous accusation as the crowd boo HBK for his Grinch like attitude*

Santa Claus: But I am real, I'm standing right here.

*The crowd cheer for Santa's defiance*

Shawn Michaels: Well you're not going to admit it, and I can't blame you after all who are we to take that away from these nimrods in Seattle? I didn't want to be the guy to take the only thing they have to hold on to, besides the possibility of ever leave this hell hole of a place and going somewhere like, I don't know, let's say Oklahoma...

*The crowd boo Shawn again as he reminds them of their former NBA franchise*

Shawn Michaels: Hey, it worked for the Supersonics, it could work for you too... But that's not why I'm out here, I'm here for you Santa. Santa, you know as well as I know that I'm on your good list this year, hell I am the good list, I am the Superstar of the year so to call me good is nothing but an injustice, Santa suffice to say we both know that I deserve the biggest gift of them all.

*Shawn extends his arms to show Santa just how big he means*

Shawn Michaels: Unlike these idiots here tonight who... you know what, if you keep booing me, naughty list FOR LIFE! That's right, for life! He has the power to do that, you're upsetting Santa! He'll put you on the naughty list, he'll do it too!

*The crowd boo HBK again as he threatens them*

Shawn Michaels: But here's the thing Santa, I know it's going to have to be a belated gift, but I'm willing to wait, and if you think about it I deserve this, after all I did give all of these people the greatest gift there is to be given. I gave them the gift of no more Ted DiBiase! And clearly this place is better off for it. Oh and on that note Santa, when you fly over Madison, Mississippi on Christmas Eve, make sure to give old Teddy Bear an extra big lump of coal this year, we don't want him wasting his income allowance on the heating bill now do we? It's just the gift that keeps on giving, no need to thank me for that by the way. This, this will be more than enough, and really it's not a gift for me either, it's a gift for everyone. Actually it's not even a gift, it's just the right thing to do. Santa what I want from you is to be named number one contender for the soon to be Unified World Heavyweight championship.

*Santa ponders Michaels request for a gift for a few seconds causing Shawn to chime in again*

Shawn Michaels: Take your time, take all the time you need, I'll be right here.

*Santa continues to think for a few more seconds then gives HBK his verdict on his gift*

Santa Claus: Is that all you want Shawn? Santa can do that for you no problem...

*Shawn nods, approving of his gift from Santa as the crowd boo them both, thinking Santa has sold out, then as a few seconds go by Santa lifts his microphone back up to his mouth*

Santa Claus: But I won't.

*The crowd cheer loudly as Shawn flips out, starting to yell at him*

Shawn Michaels: What do you mean you won't!? I am THE MAN! And that's what I deserve! I've been through everything this company has had to throw at me, and I'm still standing, I'm the biggest assets this company has to offer! You name it and I've done it this past year! Name any superstar, I've beaten them! And this past month? The way I've been treated, I deserve something good to come my way for a change! I was screwed out of my United States championship! I still have yet to get a one on one chance at the big one! And to top it all off some moron from the unemployment line has been following me around the country trying to attack me! That's not right Santa! Tell me, tell me why you can't give me my title shot.

Santa Claus: See Shawn, it says here you're on my naughty list, and you know what that means...

*Shawn grabs out and tugs Santa's beard clean off*

Shawn Michaels: Aha, I knew it! You're a fake! I knew you weren't rea...


*Suddenly Shawn flies back and tumbles to the mat as he's struck by a hard right hand from Santa Claus! *


Michael Cole: What the?! That's not Santa Claus!

*The fans are going crazy, Santa's beard lies on the mat right beside a dazed Shawn, and that's when "Santa" grips the top of his hat yanking it off revealing a sickly grinning Ted DiBiase! *

Jerry "the King" Lawler: That's Ted DiBiase!!

Jim Ross: And Shawn is taken a back, he knew that wasn't the real Santa Claus, but I don't think he even imagined it was Ted DiBiase!

Jerry "the King" Lawler: The look on his face would tell me you're right, JR! Shawn doesn't know how to react, Ted keeps finding a way into the arena every week despite Shawn costing him his contract last month, this is one determined kid!


*Without a moment's notice Ted throws his hat to the canvas and pounces on Shawn firing away at with him with a flurry of rage releasing shots to the temple. Shawn tries to block his face but Ted doesn't care what he hits, just who he hits, and right now that person is none other than Shawn Michaels! The fans still cannot contain their excitement, they know the struggles Ted's been through, and they know all too well how badly Ted's been waiting to unleash all his anger and frustrations on this man.*

Michael Cole: Someone's gotta stop this!

Jerry "the King" Lawler: But there's no one that can save Shawn now, he's made his decisions, and now he's gotta suffer the consequences, one pissed off redneck!

Jim Ross: Ted's gone mad!


*In middle of this chaotic mauling, a loud "Let's go Ted!" chant breaks out, making Ted lose his focus for just one second as he looks out into the crowd feeling the electricity, then as he turns back to Shawn he's met with a thumb to the eye temporarily blinding him and allowing Shawn to turn the tide. He pushes Ted off of him then as he's seated on the mat trying to regain his vision, Shawn nails him with a hard big boot right in between the eyes knocking him back down. Immediately the audience boos Michaels for this but he doesn't seem to care, instead he drills DiBiase right in the ribs with a hard kick sending him rolling on the mat now holding the targeted region.*

Michael Cole: Yes! That's right Shawn, show him who's boss!

Jerry "the King" Lawler: More like who's a coward.

Michael Cole: Ted's the one sneaking in every week!

Jim Ross: Because Shawn kept him from getting his job back at November to Remember, it's either sneak in or give up, and Ted's never been one to quit.


*He keeps hold of the the side of his body, and that's when Shawn being the type of man that he is runs to kick him again, but Ted dodges it then takes Michaels down with a hard clothesline! He pops back up to his feet instantly and he's nailed again by another wicked clothesline! Shawn's back up in no time swings at Ted, but misses, Ted grabs hold of him from behind, holding his own arm firmly against him, it looks like he's going for Dream Street!! But Shawn's not having any of that, he throws DiBiase forward that next second, then comes charging right at him! The fans try to warn Ted screaming out whatever they can, he slowly turns around, then just as Shawn was inches away launches him overhead with a huge backbody drop! Shawn's back meets the mat in a brutal collision, and right away he rolls under the bottom rope and to the outside wanting no more of this.*

Michael Cole: That's right Shawn, leave, you have nothing to prove, you've still got a job here, unlike him!

*Ted shakes his head over and over as he notices Shawn's now on the outside, then picks up the microphone that was at his feet and raises it up.*

Ted DiBiase: What's the matter, Shawn? You can sure dish it out, but you can't take it? You can cost me my contract, but when met by the consequences that follow, you just run away like some common coward? Why don't you stick security on me, that'll be something new. Or you could actually face me like a man, that is, unless you've forgotten what it's like to be one?

*The camera cuts to Shawn on the ramp, looking back down at DiBiase in the ring*

Shawn Michaels: I don't know what's it's like to be a man? I've got news for you Teddy, I am THE MAN around here! And more importantly than that, out of the two of us I'm the man with the contract... You know what though I shouldn't even be surprised that you managed to find a way to weasel your way into the arena tonight, even less surprised that you hid behind a beard to do so. And as for this match you want? You can forget about it, you don't have a job here, you don't get to call the shots just go home and try to enjoy your holidays.

Ted DiBiase: No see I think you're confused, and I guess we'll blame it on your age, I mean you're like eighty now right? But you haven't been "THE MAN" in a LOOOOOOOONG time, buddy! I should have expected this of you though, because the reason you're not "the man" is because you run away from fights, you take every shortcut you can, and you've got absolutely no shame in how you get ahead, so long as ol' Shawn Michaels ends up on top, ain't that right? But see that's where we differ, and that's what makes this so easy. You don't wanna fight me? That's fine, be that guy, be the legend afraid that he's gonna get his ass kicked by a young gun, say no all you want, because whether you agree to fight me or not, it doesn't matter! I'll keep showing up, every show, whatever way I have to, how I have to, I will not rest until I see to it that I make your life a LIVING HELL!


Ted's fired up and the fans are loving every second of it, responding with loud cheers and chanting his name.


Ted DiBiase: You don't have to believe me, you can laugh, you can shrug me off like I'm nothing, but that'll be your mistake, not mine. I don't know what your deal with Vickie is, and I don't care, you cost me my job, a job that I love, a job that I was born to do, a job that I never should have lost in the first place! So go ahead, run away and hide, promote yourself as "The Man" and then decline a challenge from me in front of the entire world, let them see you for what you are, not the legend we all grew up with, but this sad excuse of a man that now walks around claiming to be what he hasn't been in a very long time!

Shawn Michaels: Teddy, Teddy, you've got it all wrong, I am the man and it's because I have the guts and I have the talent to do what it takes to get the job done, call it taking shortcuts, call it cheating, you can call it whatever you want, but you know just as well as I do that if you want to be a great in this business or in your case if you even want to be in this business, then that's exactly what you've got to do and it's exactly what you never had the stones to do.

*The crowd boo as Michaels continues to berate DiBiase*

Shawn Michaels: You want your match so badly Teddy, well give me a reason. I'm begging you Teddy give me a reason to kick your ass, maybe that could be a good resting place for the silver spoon you've had in your mouth since birth, but as of Supremacy you've been nothing but a fan and when a fan like yourself gets involved in this world only bad things can happen and to make things matters worse you'll only get arrested when the only thing you had to do to avoid it was to simply let go. Just let go of your little pipe dream of coming back to the XWL, because it's never going to happen. Because until you make facing you worth my while, you getting your job back is going to remain just that, a pipe dream.


Ted DiBiase: Let go? You expect me to just give up like that? Oh you're not getting back in XWL, give up, find a new career, is that what you think I should do?

*Shawn starts to respond but he's stopped as Ted cuts him off immediately.

Ted DiBiase: That was a rhetorical question, I really couldn't give a damn about what you think, especially not when I've had people telling me my entire life that dreams are only just that, dreams. Incapable of happening, too far out of my reach, and just plain old impossible. But I've proven that's nothing but a load bull, because my dream was to be World Heavyweight Champion, and despite you and every other jackass trying to bring me down, I lived that dream, and you know what? I'll live it again! Because while you say it's never going to happen, it's like they say, never say never in the wrestling biz. Anything can happen, and I promise you, it will happen! I don't know how, I don't know when, but I'll get that match with you, and then I'll get my job back, and while you're still going on about your boring ass title reigns that no one remembers aside from how incredibly long and dreadful they were, I'll go on to become World Heavyweight Champion again! A champion the fans can be proud of, a champion who won't cower in the corner at the presence of a challenge, a champion that will reign with honor and integrity, something you lost a long time ago!

Shawn Michaels: Sorry Teddy, I fazed out a bit there so I didn't quite catch all of that, I guess your skills on the microphone are about as memorable as your woeful title reign, luckily though this champion had a champion they could actually be proud of, who actually stole every and every show they were on so they didn't feel completely ripped off when you came out with the big gold belt and bored not only the entire of the arena, but also all the boys in the back to sleep. It's called being a team player Teddy, so you don't have to thank me, I was just doing my job... and winning the Slammy for champion of the year. Yeah, that's right I was voted champion of the year, not most boring but the very best.

*Shawn briefly smirks to himself as the crowd boo which he just shrugs off and keeps talking*

Shawn Michaels: Sure maybe some people might think my historic and legendary reign as United States champion was boring, but luckily it's just you and all of those nimrods in Seattle that think that.

*The crowd start to boo loudly, but Shawn quickly starts to talk again*

Shawn Michaels: Save it for somebody who cares. The point is Teddy, I'm not the boring one here, you are. You think you're that fun, everyday guy living the dream, defying the odds, sticking it to the man right? Did you not meet your father? The Million Dollar Man, Wrestlemania 4 maineventer Ted DiBiase Senior? Ted, I hate to break it to you but you're not the every man that you want to be, and you're not the everyday man these people think you are. You are a third generation superstar, you were born into this business. And it's that lame duck of a gimmick that got you fired in the first place. See Teddy, I was the champion that won awards, the champion that stole shows, wrestled the best matches and talked the best on the microphone, whereas you were the champion who had people campaigning for you to be fired because they couldn't stand to listen to another minute of you. And thank god they got their wish, and yet you're still sticking around, standing in my ring, while the security from some reason haven't escorted you from the building. You're just a fan, kid, get used to it. Challenge me all you want, I'm not budging, hell if I was going to fight you.

*Shawn points at a guy in the crowd*

Shawn Michaels: I might as well fight this guy too.

*He then points at another member of the crowd, this one much smaller then the previous*

Shawn Michaels: Or that guy.

*Shawn smirks as he lays his eyes on a third member of the crowd, this ones wearing a DiBiase Posse Party t-shirt*

Shawn Michaels: I'd definitely fight this guy, he's got one of your crappy t-shirts on, he needs to get his butt whooped.

*The crowd rampantly boo Michaels as he insults them and DiBiase*

Shawn Michaels: Last time Teddy, you're not getting your contract, you're not getting a match, but if you don't get out of my ring soon, I will get you out of it myself.

Ted DiBiase: I'm sorry I might be able to take you a bit more seriously if you weren't saying all of that all the way out there.

*Ted pauses as he locks eyes with Michaels*

Ted DiBiase: Look I get it, my career isn't as decorated as yours, I only just started attaining success a few months before my firing, so you don't think I'm worth your time, but you know who else thought that? You know who else tried to walk all over me, who tried to throw their legendary status around and get away with disrespecting me? The Undertaker!

*The mention of The Undertaker gets another loud response from the fans.*

Ted DiBiase: He saw me just as you see me, some punk kid that has dreams he'll never reach, talent that doesn't match yours, and a complete waste of your time. But just as I proved then, I'm here to prove now, that I do belong here, and I'm not backing down! You think I wanted to face Vickie to get my job back? I'd have much rather face someone like you, an actual wrestler, but I wanted my job back, that was my only chance she said, and you cost me it! This isn't going to just go away, you can't sweep it under the rug, I WILL NOT allow you to play me like that, Shawn. The Undertaker tried to pull that crap with me, and I put him six feet under, in a match no one saw me winning. Just as you don't think I could beat you, you think you're so superior to me? Prove it! Give me the match I want, face me this Sunday, and let's just see how much of a waste of time I am!

*The fans agree with cheers, while Shawn still doesn't seem to budging*

Ted DiBiase: What have you got to lose? You had no problem sticking your nose in my business, but you can't one measly match with me? You can't put the final nail in the coffin? You don't think you can beat me and send me packing once and for all? Is that it, Shawn? It's not that you think I'm a waste of your time, but that you don't think you can beat me! You don't think the mighty Shawn Michaels is capable of it, do you? I guess I can't blame you, I mean after seeing what a guy like me is able to do to a phenom like The Undertaker, what kinda of chance could you stand?!

*Shawn seems to be getting irritated at the recent remarks by Ted, while the fans are loving every second of it*

Ted DiBiase: I mean you're old, old as hell, your hairs falling out a mile a minute, your backs giving out, you're an absolute embarrassment to what you used to be! But that's good, it's good you know your place, you're not the future, but ancient history! You're just the past, the old, tired, and worthless past...the past that no one cares about anymore, the past that simply doesn't measure up to the standard that's upheld today. No I completely get it, you can't have some young star like me kicking your ass and making a fool of you, you've gotta milk this "legend" thing for all it's worth. Because in a few years, when the name Shawn Michaels come up, they'll be like, who? Sexy what? Heartbreak for who?!

*Shawn remains standing on the ramp clearly not impressed with what DiBiase has to say*

Shawn Michaels: How many times do I have to tell you Teddy, you're not a young star, you're just common trash, just like the rest of the fans, the only difference is they know not to interfere with the show, you don't jump the barricade and you don't lay your hands on the talent.

*As that moment the theme of Breakdown General Manager begins to blast through the PA system to the delight of the crowd*



*As the Hulkster walks out onto the stage, microphone in hand, his theme fades out and Michaels quickly addresses him*

Shawn Michaels: Oh great, I didn't actually think one segment could be filled with any more stupidity, but clearly I was wrong!

*Hogan ignores Michaels as the crowd chant "Hogan, Hogan, Hogan" then he raises his microphone up to his mouth to speak*

Hulk Hogan: Whoa, whoa, whoa, just hold in a minute, dudes. This has gone on far too long and I'm not going to stand for it, you might be able to get away with this kind of stuff on Redemption, but you're on Breakdown now and what I say goes, you got that, brothers?

*The crowd cheer as Hogan stamps his authority on the show as Shawn claps sarcastically telling Hogan off microphone to have DiBiase removed from the arena*

Hulk Hogan: Now Ted, I feel your pain, and I hear you, and if I could I would rehire you in a heartbeat, but unfortunately my hands are tied on that there's not enough room in the budget, but just because you feel wronged doesn't mean you can just invade my show whenever you like, even if it is to get your hands on Michaels. You just can't do that without a contract, as much as it pains me to say it, Shawn has a point. Currently you don't belong in an XWL ring, you don't have a job here, and frankly if you continue down this path you could find yourself on the end of a lawsuit.

*Shawn nods to suggest he'd sue DiBiase as the crowd boo him*

Hulk Hogan: Now I can't make you do a thing around here... but as for Shawn...

*The camera cuts to Shawn's face who’s clearly annoyed at Hogan's apparently power play as the crowd cheer for Hogan's actions*

Hulk Hogan: See dudes, one of the special powers I have as General Manager of Breakdown is that the Hulkster gets to book whatever matches he wants to see, that's why next week at X-Treme X-Mas, Shawn Michaels will be going one on one with Ted DiBiase.

*The crowd erupt in cheers at the announcement of the match as Michaels flips out o the stage whilst DiBiase seems delighted that he's got his wish*

Shawn Michaels: What?! You can't do that! You can't make me face him! He doesn't even have a damn job! There's no way the board will approve this!

Hulk Hogan: You're right, the board won't approve this, which is why this match will NOT be sanctioned by XWL, and Shawn just so we're perfectly clear, if you beat Ted DiBiase, next week. Well then you've got nothing to worry about, but if you lose? That's a whole nother story, because Ted won't be the one without a contract here, it'll be you! That's right brother, if you lose, your contract goes to him.

*Shawn erupts once again, but he's drowned out by the overwhelming cheers of glee. Ted's finally got his match with Shawn, his chance at revenge, and if he can beat him this Sunday he'll not only be back on the roster, but he'll have Shawn's contract! Although Ted was just told that his struggles could soon be over, you can tell he's hesitant to get excited, he's been through a lot since that dark night at Supremacy, and just when things seem like they're about to brighten up, they become darker than they ever were. Ted could finally get his job back, and sweet revenge, but one man stands in front of all of that, Shawn Michaels.*

Michael Cole: How could Hogan do this?!

Jerry "the King" Lawler: It's about time someone did! Ted was wrongfully fired over four months ago and you know it, Cole. Vickie fired him just because he lost one match, a match he was cheated out of winning in the first place!

Jim Ross: We know all too well what Ted's been through since that dark night, he went in on top of the world, and he left broken, defeated, and absolutely crushed. No man deserves that, especially not one as dignified and passionate as Ted DiBiase is.

Michael Cole: I just can't believe it, Ted DiBiase versus Shawn Michaels, an unsanctioned match, and if Ted wins, he gets Shawn's contract! Talk about unfair, why should Shawn have to go through this? By some fluke that Ted wins, all of Shawn's hard work goes down the drain because of one loss!

Jerry "the King" Lawler: Do you hear yourself, Cole? That's exactly what happened to Ted!

Jim Ross: Nonetheless folks, this Sunday it all goes down, XWL will not be held liable for what happens at X-treme X-mas between these two men, and with absolutely no rules binding them in any way, you just know things are going to explode when these two men go face to face, all for the extremely important victory. The winner leaves with a contract, while the loser leaves with absolutely nothing, the stakes could not be higher, and I for one can't wait.


*Shawn's pounding the announce table screaming and yelling about the situation he's found himself in, and Ted just stands firmly in the middle of the ring looking at Shawn more focused than he's ever been. He's not going to let this opportunity pass him by, failure is not an option, he's got to defeat Shawn, because if he doesn't, it will officially mark the end of his career.*

As The Supershow returns we are shown a highlight reel of Jeff Hardy's United States Title win against Damien Sandow before returning to ringside.

Hardy hops down from the turnbuckle as his theme begins to come to a close. He requests a mic and waits for the fans to settle down before speaking.

You know, I've made some pretty dumb decisions in my past and wasn't sure if I'd ever experience this feeling again, being champion. For the past year I've had my doubters, I've heard what people have had to say about me. I've been called a reject, a screw-up, an outcast and I'm fine with that, because now? You still might be able to call me an outcast, you still might be able to call me a reject or a screw-up, but despite all of that I gave everything but up, so that you can also call me your new United States Champion!!!

Hardy smiles as the crowd begins a "Hardy" chant.

But you know what feels even better than being United States Champion? Knowing that I shut Damien Sandow up once and for all!! Over the past few months Sandow has been trash talking me, The X-Treme Title, and all of you. He tried herding you like a bunch of sheep but instead of listening to him, instead of doing what you were told, you joined me in saying "no" to being force fed his point of view. Because the fact of the matter is, if everyone lived life like Damien Sandow, then imagine what a boring world this would be. Everyone would be walking around in the same bathrobes, talking the same talk, eating the same food, listening to the same music, and in doing so getting rid of everything that makes each individual unique.. So thank god that their vision is not the reality, and that the true reality is that this will be a new era for the United States Championship, a more Extreme era, tonight's about living in the moment, and Damien Sandow is a thing of the past. But this right here, me standing in front of you with the United States Championship over my shoulder, that's the future. Extreme Matches, ladders, tables, cages, chairs, all of this is the future now that I'm champion.

And to me that's pretty Extreme!

It looks like Alberto Del Rio got tired of hearing Jeff Hardy talk!

Hardy rolls his eyes and tosses the mic as Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio.



Del Rio slides into the ring and wastes no time, tackling Hardy to the ground and following with an array of mounted punches. The ref signals for the match to start, as the two competitors continue to brawl on the canvas floor. Hardy finally is able to kick Del Rio off and the two slowly get to their feet, shaking off the cobwebs... The two continue to do battle, the advantage going back and forth for a few minutes until Del Rio Irish Whips Hardy into the corner! Del Rio charges at Jeff and leaps into the air to hit the corner enziguri, but Hardy is able to dodge out of the way sending ADR into the corner! Jeff charges at Del Rio who dodges out of the corner only to be hit by a Whisper in the Wind!!!...1.....2... Kick Out! Hardy goes to pick Del Rio up but is gouged in the eye in the process, sending him stumbling backwards. Del Rio plants one foot on Hardy's midsection to get leverage as he brings his other foot straight into Jeff's skull for an enziguri!!....1.....2.... Kickout! Del Rio looks frustrated as he picks the champ up and locks on the deadly cross arm breaker!!!!! Hardy has no where to go!! Will he tap!!?!?! No! Hardy is able to make it to the ropes!! Del Rio drags Hardy back to the middle of the ring where he picks him up to lock on the cross arm breaker once again but is hit with a jawbreaker!!! Del Rio stumbles backwards, dazed from the jawbreaker, propelling off of the ropes straight into a Twist of Fate!!!!! Hardy slowly climbs the top rope as the crowd goes wild, waiting for the Swanton Bomb. But as Hardy reaches the top Del Rio has the wherewithal to roll out of the ring, thwarting the attempted finish!

Oh no, is that..?

Hardy gets pushed off the top rope and into the ring with a thud by none other than Wade Barrett, who ran in while Hardy had his back turned to the stage! The ref signals for the match to end in DQ as Wade enters the ring and begins to stomp on every limb of Hardy. Del Rio slides back into the ring and joins in on the beat down as Ricardo cheers them on, throwing in the occasional stomp himself. Wade lifts Hardy high into the air and brings him down hard with a Wasteland!!! Del Rio then locks on the cross arm breaker!! Refusing to let go! Hardy's arm will break any second now!! The crowd's boos turn to cheers as...



Big Zeke charges to the ring! Del Rio lets Hardy out of the submission maneuver and quickly slides out of the back of the ring, clearly wanting nothing to do with The Personification of Domination! Wade sees Del Rio exit and follows suit, leaving Ricardo alone in the ring. As Big Zeke enters Ricardo has his fists up and is trash talking Jackson, clearly thinking that Wade and Del Rio are right behind him. As the giant nears him Ricardo swings and connects with a loud slap to Big Zeke's face, which to Rodriguez's surprise doesn't even phase Jackson. Ricardo, takes a few steps back, feeling behind him where he thought his back-up was. The crowd laughs as Ricardo sees Del Rio and Wade at the foot of the ramp and slowly looks back and realizes for the first time that they aren't behind him to back him up. Ricardo cringes, and tries to make a break for it but is caught by the giant hand of Zeke. Jackson hits Ricardo with the Book of Ezekiel!!! Del Rio and Wade drag Ricardo out of the ring and angrily begin to retreat up the ramp. Back in the ring Ezekiel Jackson is helping Hardy back to his feet. The giant then picks up Jeff's United States Championship and looks at it for a moment as the crowd begins to buzz in anticipation as to what will happen next. Zeke walks back to Hardy and after a few moments, hands over the United States Championship and lifts Hardy's hand in the air as the crowd goes wild! Jeff thanks Zeke for the save by shaking his hand but as he goes to turn away the giant pulls the champ close and stares at the United States Title in Hardy's hands. Jeff looks from the belt to Big Zeke and back before nodding his head.

Zeke looks satisfied with Hardy's answer and shows it by nodding and exiting the ring. Hardy watches Zeke go before climbing the turnbuckle and soaking up the crowd's cheers.

Antonio Cesaro vs Chris Sabin

*Breakdown returns from a commercial break before being taken to the ring where both Antonio Cesaro and The Motor City Machine Guns are standing across the ring from each other. The ref motions for Shelley to exit the ring so the match can officially begin. Shelley and Sabin do their secret handshake before Shelley does what the ref asks and exits the ring as the ref calls for the bell.*

*This is the moment Sabin has been waiting for, four months of wanting to get his hands on Cesaro for assaulting his best friend various times. Both men begin to circle one another, Cesaro tries to go for a grapple but Sabin, knowing full well that he wouldn't survive having a war of strength with Cesaro, delivers a swift kick to his leg. He follows up with another as Cesaro tries to catch Sabin's leg to no avail. Sabin gets a little too cocky and goes for a kick on the body but Cesaro manages to catch it, leaving Sabin wide open for an attack. A smile appears on Cesaro's face before it quickly fades as he pulls Sabin towards him and levels him with a huge clothesline.*

*Shelley begins to shout words of encouragement to Sabin, who begins to lift himself off of the mat, but before he could make it to his feet, Cesaro hits him in the back with a hard kick. The expression on Sabin's face after that kick says it all. Before he can even consider getting up, Cesaro has already wrapped his arms around Sabin's waist and lifts him up with ease. Cesaro walks around the ring as Sabin tries to escape the Swiss superstars grip, before he can break it, Cesaro throws Sabin across the ring with a Gutwrench Suplex.*

*Shelley runs around the ring to where Sabin is to make sure he's okay. Sabin is show looking up at the bright lights on the ceiling of the arena, almost as if he's watching his chance at revenge slowly slip away from him. Cesaro walks over to Sabin and drags him to the center of the ring. He lifts him up and sets up what appears to be the Gotch Style Neutralizer, his finishing maneuver. He signals for the end to this match by doing his signature neck snap but before he can attempt it, Sabin manages to escape by dropping to the mat and quickly crawling through Cesaro's legs. Cesaro turns into a spinning back kick by Sabin, who runs towards the ropes and ricochets off of them before landing a running dropkick on Cesaro.*

*Almost as if Sabin has caught a second wind, he picks up Cesaro and tosses him into the turnbuckle then quickly follows up with a big boot to Cesaro in the corner. Slowly gaining the upper hand in this match, Sabin climbs out onto the apron and begins measuring Cesaro for who knows what. The second he makes it to his feet, Sabin launches himself off the apron and onto the top rope before jumping at Cesaro for what appears to be a springboard clothesline. Cesaro is one step ahead, and lands a huge uppercut on the incoming Chris Sabin.*

*Silence fills the arena as they are unsure of Sabin's condition after a move like that. A few moments pass before a “That was awesome” chant begins to echo throughout the arena. Cesaro begins shouting something towards the crowd in one of his many languages as Shelley checks on Sabin again. The ref motions to Cesaro to take a step back as he checks on Sabin's condition. Just when it seemed that Sabin couldn't continue the match, he slowly begins to show signs of life. The ref asks him if he's able to continue, but Sabin ignores him and motions to Cesaro, telling him to bring it.*

*This is more than a match to Sabin, it's an opportunity at revenge not only for him, but for his best friend. Cesaro charges at him but Sabin manages to move at the last second, causing Cesaro to crash into the turnbuckle. Sabin runs to the opposite corner and jumps off the middle turnbuckle before running back at Cesaro and hitting a huge jumping back elbow. Cesaro staggers out of the corner, barely on his feet. Sabin runs towards the ropes, before bouncing off of them and catching Cesaro with a huge Springboard Tornado DDT. The momentum has drastically changed and it shows. Sabin motions to the crowd that he's done playing around and begins to set up what looks like his finishing maneuver, the Cradle Shock.*

*Sabin manages to raise Cesaro up onto his shoulders but the Swiss Superstar was one step ahead and lands a few stiff elbow shots to the side of Sabin's head and spins him around to set up his Gotch Style Neutralizer a second time. This time he locks it in and raises Sabin up but little did he know that Sabin would use his strength against him. Sabin launches himself upwards into a powerbomb position and begins to unload a series of rights and lefts to Cesaro's exposed face. Sabin returns to the position he was at before and lifts Cesaro up to his shoulders again, this time driving him into the mat with a Cradle Shock. He follows up with a pinning combination as the ref drops down to make the count.*

*The theme of the Motor City Machine Guns begins to play as Sabin is on his knees in the center of the ring. The realization sets in as Shelley slides into the ring under the bottom rope, it's almost as if a weight has been lifted from his shoulders, he has managed to not only get revenge for himself but also for Shelley. Sabin looks up when he feels a hand on his shoulder and sees Shelley nodding his head before he hands Sabin the XWL Ersatz Tag Team Championship. Sabin takes it and rises to his feet as the ref raises his arm into the air. That is the last image shown before Breakdown fades into a short commercial break.*

[Lillian Garcia]: The following contest is set for one fall. . .



[Lillian Garcia]: Introducing first, from Scottsdale, Arizona, she is one half of the Bella Twins, accompanied by her sister Nikki, Brie Bella.

*The Bella Twins come out from the back with their vintage black catsuits and although Nikki is not scheduled for action, she has her attire on, she's here to support her sister. The two divas stop at the top of the ramp and do their signature twirl, this time putting a little extra shake in it.*



*Brie and Nikki head down the ramp with their heads held high and their confidence has to be off the charts. No matter who they face, Nikki and Brie are always determined to win. Brie points to Nikki to show the crowd that she's all she needs in support, the fans don't matter at all to her.*



*XWL's only identical twins, Brie and Nikki, hop up onto the apron and pose as some of the fans jeer and some whistle at them. The twins flip over as they pose and await Brie's opponent for the night. . .*







*The theme of Alicia Fox begins to play, signaling an array of cheers for the Foxy Diva.*



*A few moments pass before Fox appears on the entrance ramp, donning her signature fox hood. She begins to walk down the ramp with her arms extended as far as they could go before stopping at the bottom of the entrance ramp to lock eyes with her opponent for the evening, Brie Bella.*



*A smile comes on her face before she hops onto the apron and enters the ring.*



*Once in the ring, she removes her foxy hood and begins to swing it above her head for a few moments before placing it on the steel ring steps.*



*Fox motions to Brie before saying something that isn't picked up on camera as Brie is shown with a look that says she couldn't care less what Fox has to say. The two divas walk to opposite corners as they await for the ref to call for the bell.*

Brie Bella vs Alicia Fox



*The ref signals to the time keeper to ring the bell, he does and the match has now officially started. Both divas circle one another for a few moments before engaging in a lockup. The battle for control begins and there appears to be no clear winner until Fox begins to slowly but surely gain control of Brie, locking in a headlock in the process. Brie quickly escapes it by shoving Fox into the ropes. Fox bounces off the ropes and drops Brie with a shoulder block before running towards the ropes on her left. Brie rolls to her stomach as Fox jumps over her and ricochets off the ropes on the opposite side before being sent to the mat with a back body drop. Brie takes this moment to taunt the audience as Fox holds her back in pain.*



*Fox sits up while still on the mat, only to be kicked right in the face. Brie follows up by grabbing Fox by her hair, raising her to her feet. The second Fox is up, she breaks Brie's grip and hits her with a forearm. She follows up with a second, then a third. With Brie slightly dazed, Fox grabs her arm and slingshots her into the ropes.*



*Brie uses the momentum from rebounding off the ropes in her favor and attempts a clothesline, but Fox is one step ahead and avoids contact with a matrix like counter. She then drops down to on the mat, kicking her long legs up, wrapping them around Brie and hits a modified Headscissors Takedown, sending Brie crashing onto the mat.*



*Fox begins to walk towards a slowly rising Brie Bella, who was playing possum and catches Fox with a swift Snapmare, then follows up by launching herself over Fox, grabbing her head in the process, and slamming it onto the mat with a neck snap. The momentum has shifted back to Brie and it shows. It is now Brie who walks towards Fox, who is slowly making it to her feet, and falls prey to a quick Northern Lights Suplex, as Fox follows up with a flawless bridge.*

Kickout!

*Brie manages to get her shoulder up at two, keeping this match alive. Fox begins to measuring Brie up for what looks like her finishing maneuver, the Fox Drop. With Brie now in perfect position, Fox charges at her and tries to hit Brie but wildly misses and crashing onto the mat, as Brie rolls out of the way, allowing her to setup her finishing maneuver, the Sitdown Facebuster known as the Bella Buster. Brie kicks Fox in the gut and attempts to hit her finisher but Fox spins out of it and returns the favor, landing a gut kick of her own, before tripping her and quickly following up with a huge Fox Drop, almost knocking her unconscious. Just as Fox is about to go for the cover...*





*The theme of the anti-diva herself begins to play throughout the arena, signaling an array of boos and small pockets of cheers directed at her. Paige walks out from behind the curtain, wearing her usual gear, and stands on the stage for a moment, as Fox turns her attention to her new rival. Paige is still showing signs of being annoyed about her loss to Fox last week as she begins to walk down the ramp and towards the ring. Little do the ref and Fox know that Nikki has taken Brie's place in the match. Nikki charges her from behind and drops her with a clothesline as Paige looks on with a smirk on her face. Nikki goes for the cover.*

Kickout!

*Fox gets her shoulder up off the match before the three count, forcing Nikki to argue with the ref. She begins to mercifully stomp on Fox as Paige looks on with a smirk on her face and Brie is shown still holding her head, obviously still feeling the effects of the Fox Drop, outside the ring. The ref pulls Nikki off of Fox and while that was going on, Fox was about to use the bottom rope for leverage but before she could, Paige delivers a hard slap to Fox that is heard all the way to the cheap seats, but surprisingly, not to the ref. Fox holds her cheek as the ref goes to check on her to make sure she can continue the match, she nods her head and the match continues.*



*Fox makes it to her feet and runs at Nikki, who does the same. They both dive at each other, with the same thing in mind, and both come crashing down onto the match while holding their opponents hair. Nikki makes it to her feet first and tries to pick Fox up by her hair but gets pushed to the ropes behind her the second Fox makes it to her feet. Fox grabs an incoming Nikki Bella and lifts her up, only to drop her down with a tilt a whirl backbreaker. Fox keeps Nikki on her knee before forcefully slamming her on the mat then going for the pin.*

*Nikki gets her shoulder up just in time as Fox shows a bit of frustration with the ref. She picks Nikki up and attempts to throw her into the turnbuckle but Nikki manages to reverse it and throws Fox into it instead. Fox hops onto the second turnbuckle before jumping backwards and hitting a back elbow on Nikki. She holds her jaw on the mat for a moment as Fox rolls through it and is now on her feet almost instantly.*



*The second Nikki makes it to her feet, she gets dropped back down with a beautiful dropkick from Fox. Nikki hits the mat and quickly gets back up, only to get dropped again by a second dropkick. The momentum is now in Fox's corner as the edge Nikki had is almost nonexistent. With Nikki somewhat dazed, Fox gets back to her feet and takes a few steps back, perhaps going for her other finishing maneuver, the Scissor Kick. Just as she's measuring Nikki, Paige climbs up onto the apron and begins shouting at Fox. She turns around as the ref tries to get between them. Fox looks at Paige for a moment before slapping the taste out of her mouth, knocking her off the apron and onto the floor. Unbeknownst to Fox or the ref, Brie has rolled Nikki out of the ring and reentered the match. That doesn't seem to matter as Fox manages to hit the Scissor Kick on Brie before she could make it to her feet. She goes for another cover.*

*No! Nikki manages to put Brie's foot on the bottom rope, without the refs knowledge, before he could make the three count. With everything seemingly against her, Fox begins shouting at the ref, telling him that it was supposed to be a three count. The ref tries to plead his case but Fox is having none of it. She notices Paige reaching for her signature Fox Hood before climbing back up on the apron. Paige raises Fox's hood above her head and begins twirling it, almost imitating the Foxy Diva. With the ref having his attention directed at Paige, The Bella Twins take advantage of the situation and hit a combination Wheelbarrow Facebuster on Fox. Nikki quickly slides out of the ring as Paige motions to the ref to turn around. He does and sees Brie going for the pin on Fox.*

*Before the refs hand hits the mat for the third time, Fox manages to get her foot on the bottom rope, breaking the count. Brie can't believe that it didn't get her the three count and begins to argue with the ref. The ref tells her that Fox got her foot on the bottom rope and Brie turns her focus back on Fox, while holding her head as she is clearly still feeling the effects of not only the Fox Drop, but also the Scissor Kick. Fox slowly makes it to her feet and reverses an Irish Whip attempt from Brie and sends her into the corner instead. Before she can capitalize, Paige once again climbs onto the apron with Fox's hood and begins to shout at her, and twirls the hood above her head again. Fox walks towards her but before she can react, Brie comes up from behind and rolls her up.*

*The Bellas theme begins to play as Nikki slides into the ring to celebrate her sisters victory. Fox quickly exits the ring under the bottom rope and is now face to face with Paige. The Bellas continue celebrating in the ring as they look on at what's about to happen outside the ring. Fox is obviously annoyed that Paige cost her the match and begins shouting at her. Paige, with Fox's hood still in hand, tosses said hood at Fox's face before letting out a laugh. Fox retaliates by shoving Paige back first into the steel steps then slaps her in the face. Paige drops down to a knee before grabbing Fox and slamming her into the ring apron a few times. She holds her back for a second then proceeds to trash talk her straight to her face. Fox pushes Paige back for a bit of breathing room but Paige charges at Fox, only for her to sidestep Paige, sending her crashing into the apron and falling down to the floor. Fox tries to pick up Paige, but the anti-diva is one step ahead and kicks Fox's knee, forcing the Foxy Diva to drop to the floor. Paige begins unloading an array of stiff forearms to Fox's back before Fox manages to push Paige off of her and back first into the steel ring post. Before anything else can happen, a screeching voice is heard, sending the live audience in attendance into a booing frenzy. The voice is easily recognizable as none other than Redemption General Manager, Vickie Guerrero.*

*It's almost as if her voice angers the live audience, which in turn annoys Vickie even more.*

I said, “Excuse me!” I have something to say. Due to the both of you not being able to mind your own business and starting a catfight every time you are within 10 feet of each other, I have decided to put the both of you in a match at X-treme X-mas, in a special guest referee match to be exact, and to make sure that there is a clear winner, the referee will be none other than myself. Now, leave the ringside area, we still have a show to continue.

*Vickie turns around and walks to the backstage area, leaving both Fox and Paige engaging in a staredown as Redemption fades to a commercial break.*

The camera cuts to the backstage arena where XWL backstage interviewer, Josh Matthews, stands by with one of XWL's champions.



[Josh Matthews]: Ladies and gentlemen, at this time, I'd like to introduce to you the Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison.

The Intercontinental Champion steps into the camera with a smile on his face, probably happy to be free from Damien Sandow and that the Saviors of Society are no more.



[John Morrison]: Josh, how are you? It's always a plesure to be in my presence, yes I am aware of that. But seriously, what a nice day it is today.

[Josh Matthews]: Indeed it is a pleasure John, I'd like to talk to you about last week after your match with the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels, more specifically when Damien Sandow came out. What did you expect him to say when he came out?

[John Morrison]: Josh, to be honest, I thought he was coming to congratulate me on a job well done. I just beat the Superstar and Champion of the year for this year's Slammys, I defeated an icon. But instead, Sandow comes out to berate me for not helping him retain his United States Championship but you know what's funny Josh? I didn't need his help to win my match last week but he needed mine, that tells you a lot. We all know he carried that team.



[Josh Matthews]: And who carried the team John?

[John Morrison]: I don't like dumb questions but since you insist on ask, I carried that team. Without me, Sandow would be an irrelevant bastard, I took him to places he could never go by himself. Answers these questions for me Josh and be completely honest. Who held the X-Treme title?

[Josh Matthews]: You.



[John Morrison]: And who couldn't capture the X-Treme Championship?

[Josh Matthews]: Well I can't exactly answer. . .



[John Morrison]: Easy answer to an easy question Josh, the answer would be. . . drumroll please. . . . Sandow. I teamed with Sandow to form the Society of Saviors with hopes that we could help turn XWL around, educate the people but last week out there made me come to a conclusion. That mission was never mine, I never wanted to speak the way Sandow spoke, though I will add that I certainly outsmarted Sandow with my words, I never wanted to educate the fans through words of wisdom, all that I've ever wanted to do was entertain the fans, show the people out there what I really do best and that happens to be two things, wrestling and having the best physique is this company, move along Dolph Ziggler.

[John Morrison]: Sandow turned me into something I wasn't happy with being, that person you have seen for the past few weeks, is not the John Morrison all the fans, and especially the ladies, love. Now that I have Sandow out of my way, I can go on to be the best I can be, no more people riding my coattails, I've lead enough people to championships, now it's my time to be the best Intercontinental Champion I can be, no doubt that I'll be one of the best.

*Almost as soon as John Morrison stops talking we hear clapping, this then causes both Morrison and Josh Matthews to look where the claps originated from. They both have quizzical looks on their faces as the cameras pan over to reveal that the person clapping is Seth Rollins! wearing a simple wife-beater, camo pants and a MLB cap the rebellious upstart then begins to speak.

[Seth]
Oh, I'm sorry, did I ruin your little interview? I'm pretty sure it was over, thank god I mean we don't need another "Bad guy turns into mega goodie-goodie" now do we?

*Morrison then wants to interject but Rollins cuts him off.

[Seth]
Nah, it's fine I think that we both would agree that that's the last thing this company needs, another weak, spineless champion who turns to the "People" so they can save his spiraling career. That's right John, you may have won that shiny belt and beat HBK last week, but the end is near, and your career is about to spiral out of control. First, you start pandering to the majority, then they start to love you and soon you start listening to them everywhere. Twitter, Facebook, XWL.com, Denny's, once you get hit with a big boot right between the eyes, you start to hear them and yeah, they might lead you to victory a few times but sooner or later you start relying on "THEM" to do all of your dirty work, and then the next thing you know John, you'll be on the side of the road staring at the pink slip that was just given to you 3 hours ago. But I think we've all heard a lot these days about the effects of getting canned, let me get to the point.

*Seth then takes a few steps forward and stares right in the face of the Intercontinental Champion.

[Seth]
I talked to a few people and saw that we both don't have a match tonight, how about we see if my prediction was wrong.



[John Morrison]: Josh, you've got to be kidding me, just look at this guy. He interrupts my interview just begging to be catapulted to the fame and glory that I've earned, poor Seth. One King of the Ring win doesn't make you the hottest thing around or give you the privilege to interrupt me. But Seth, the thing is, I didn't just turn to the people when things got rough, I turned to them because I knew what I was once before wasn't what I wanted to be. That savior schtick isn't for me, using all those gigantic words in one sentence isn't for me, now being the best Intercontinental Champion, that's what I should be doing. Now, since you're practically begging me to lead you to stardom, I guess I'll just give you this one shot, one shot to prove that you aren't like any arrogant guy who says what he wants, but to prove that you can actually back it up. [Jim Ross]: Bussiness? I think he's lost his mind, I thought he said that he was gonna fight for these people and now he's saying that their the reason people lose matches.

[Michael Cole]: Personally, I think this is great! This kid has finally realized what it takes to make it in XWL and I hope he proves a point to John Morrison and these idiots in Seattle!

[Jerry " The King" Lawler]: Now hold on for a second guys, Seth said last week, that he's fighting for the "outcasts" of the world, not the "People" but I don't get what's the difference. Fans are fans.

[Jim Ross]: Well, whatever he means, that doesn't matter for the moment as right now he faces the Intercontinental Champion John Morrison!

*As Breakdown's cameras pan away from the commentators they head to the stage where the theme of this year's King Of The Ring has already hit. He then comes out focused, prepared and nowhere near as pumped or emotional as he was when he won that said tournament. Seth has his usual ring attire on, but on the back of his trunks it is black with a crest that is red with green lettering that says "Your Last Gift" Seth is now near the ring apron. He climbs up it and strolls in the ring, the crowd has reacted to him in a mixed way with many people still believing that he is a good soul. Seth then goes over to the other corner and waits for John Morrison to arrive.




[Justin Roberts]: And introducing his opponent, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is the Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison.

John Morrison comes out with the Intercontinental Championship around his waist, although not visible due to his jacket. John is ready for some action tonight as he has a huge smile on his face that no one can take away.



As John walks down the ramp, he stares at Seth Rollins who stands in the ring as they are about to start this impromptu match that Seth Rollins wanted. Before John Morrison was jeered as he walked to the ring, but now, John is a different man, and with a different man comes a different crowd reaction. The crowd is cheering for their Intercontinental Champion.



Morrison walks up the steel steps and onto the apron while he still stares at Seth Rollins, is he trying to scare him or is he just looking for fun? John enters the ring, takes off his robe and he is ready for some action.



The bell rings and these two men are set for some one-on-one action. Rollins and Morrison begin to circle each other and they lock up. Morrison gets Rollins in a headlock but Rollins backs up into the ropes and slingshots Morrison off thr ropes. Morrison rebounds on the ropes but Rollins leaps and then ducks followed by a dropkick to the rebounding John. He goes for the cover

Kickout by John Morrison. Morrison springs up and the two have a staredown. They begin to circle each other again and lock up. Rollins gets the upperhand this time putting Morrison in a headlock but Morrison backs him into the turnbuckle. The ref begins to count and Rollins lets go. Morrison goes charging at Rollins but Rollins moves and Morrison hits the turnbuckle. Rollins goes for the roll up

Kickout by John Morrison again. Morrison goes after Rollins with a series of forearm shots and Irish Whips him into the ropes and hits a calf kick after the rebound. Morrison then goes for a standing moonsault and connects

Kickout by Rollins. Rollins rolls out of the ring to regroup by Morrison is hot on his pursuit. Morrison runs and hits a corkscrew plancha on Seth Rollins to which the crowd repsonds loudly to. Morrison does his signature pose as the camera focuses on him. Morrison picks Rollins up and rolls him into the ring on his back. Morrison hops up onto the apron and hits a springboard 450 splash and goes for the cover

Kickout by Rollins, Morrison is wondering what he has to do to take him out. Morrison picks Rollins up and hits a suplex followed b a float over cover. And still a kickout by Rollins at the two. John steps in the gut Rollins and goes for the Knee Smash but as soon as Morrison is about to hit the Knee Smash, Rollins ducks and goes for a roll up. Kickout by Morrison at the one. Rollins hits Morrison with a clothesline and another clothesline and he's pumped up. Morrison gets up and tries to hit a gut kick but Rollins catches his foot and goes for a lew sweep. Rollins picks up Morrison and puts him in the corner by the turnbuckle. He runs the other turnbuckle, stalks his prey for a little, and then hit the corner forearm smash. He goes for the cover

Kickout from John Morrison, he's still in this. Morrison slowly gets up and is on his knees, could Seth Rollins be going for the Curb Stomp? Rollins bounces off the ropes an goes for it but Morrison gets up quickly and Rollins turns around to a Pele Kick to the head. Both Morrison and Rollins are on the ground now, who will get up 1st? Both superstars get up slowly but Morrison gets the upper hand, looks like he's going for his comeback. One clothesline after the next, and then a calf kick, Morrison is pumped up. Rollins gets up and Morrison kicks him in the gut and goes for the Moonlight Drive successfully, he covers Rollins

Kickout and this match is still going. It looks like Morrison is about to go for the C4 as he stalks Rollins. As Rollins gets up, Morrison hooks him but Rollins reverses that and backs Morrison into the turnbuckle corner and hits a reverse STO on the turnbuckle pad. Rollins gets up and as Morrison turns around, he hits the Avada Kendavra. He goes for the cover

Morrison gets his foot on the ropes and the count is broken. Rollins is arguing with the ref and Morrison rolls out of the ring to recover. Seth goes after him and picks him up. He suplexes Morrison on the ground and ignores the refs count. He picks Morrison up but the will inside of Morrison allows him to counter and he drives Rollins straight into the baricade. Morrison goes on top of the barricade to which the crowd cheers and the ref is up to the 5 count. Morrison does a Starship Pain on Rollins who is on the ground, neither man can get up as the crowd cheers "This is awesome"

And the bell rings, this match goes to a double countout and neither Morrison or Rollins can win the match. Rollins happens to get up first and heads to the back slowly. Shortly, Morrison sees Rollins heading to the back and decides this isn't over.

[Jim Ross]: No, John, you're hurt, just leave it alone, just relax..

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]: These two young men put on a spectacular match but they're obviously hurt right now but I doubt Morrison is having any of it.

[Michael Cole]: It was electric in this arena but I wonder what Morrison is trying to do.

Morrison walks up the ramp and into the back looking for Rollins. He's running around despite being hurt as he wants to look for Rollins for some reason, no one knows why.


[John Morrison]: Rollins! Where are you?

John Morrison contiues to run around looking for Seth Rollins, what could he possibly want from him?



Morrison stops running and begins to walk around shouting Rollins, he can't find him anywhere. Morrison is obviously fatigue, all of a sudden, a mysterious figure who can't be seen just as yet in the camera attack Morrison from behind with a kendo stick. The cameraman finally gets a good look at the assaliant and it's Christian. Christian continues to strike Morrison again and again with the stick as Morrison's skin begins to turn red. He gets down by Morrison's ear and says "I told you I was coming for your Intercontinental Title" and strikes Morrison one last time before referees and doctors break it up and come to the attention of John Morrison who must be in so much pain.

After XWL returns from a short ad break The Miz and Dolph Ziggler are seen to be just taking off the last bits of there entrance attire and stretching off one last time.

So here we are Cole, The Miz has finally returned after loosing his match last month in his title shot against Jericho. Do you have any initial thoughts before we start this match-up to why we havn't seen anything from the miz since? Cole, do you think that Jericho beat him so badly that he hasn't been fit to compete untill now? Or maybe he's been suffering from the sheer embarrassment of not backing up his words with actions because we all know just how much of a cocky son of a bi...

[{Michael Cole}]
Thats enough King! Don't talk about Miz like that you know he is the most must see superstar in XWL history. He is current and future of this business and if you watched the match properly like myself you would of seen he wasn't at all beaten to a pulp or embarrassed by Jericho he was cheated out of his title shot.

[{Jerry Lawler}]
Cheated!! HA! Don't make me laugh Cole. The Miz was not at all cheated out of his title shot, Jericho showed him just how much better he was than the Miz by giving him the beating of his life and making a mockery off him infront of the millions of spectators and my theory is that he was so ashamed of his performance after all his big talk that he would win we've not seen him untill now. And I think after taking that time out the Miz is just going to make an even bigger fool out of himself by standing in the ring with the Show Off Dolph Ziggler. I mean, quite frankly I'm not a big fan of either superstar but you have to respect what abilities Dolph has and the Miz would have to step up his game to even compete on the same level and i'm afraid he is just not up to scratch right now.

[{Michael Cole}]
How can you be so critical Jerry? Please tell me? He was cheated out of that title shot and you have your head so far up Zigglers backside at this moment in time you can taste what he had for breakfast at last years X-treme X-mas. Now why don't we sit back and enjoy this spectacular match-up we have in front of us right now and let you eat your own words when the Miz. Let me repeat myself. When THE MIZ shuts you up and all the other critics out there thinking that he is not at his peak at this very moment in time because when he wins tonight let me be the first to laugh in your pathetic face King.

You talk nearly as much crap as the Miz himself Cole. But you have a point. So I will indeed just sit back and enjoy the match-up and we will find out soon enough who wins and who will be laughing in who's pathetic face.

The camera pans out so the audience have a good view on the match-up ahead and as the bell rings the two superstars lock up

The match-up starts with both superstars locking up and the Miz gaining the upper hand early on. He has a hold of Dolph by the back of his head and pulls him towards himself bringing up his knee right into Dolphs gut dropping his opponent to his knees. The Miz looking to waste no time on his opponent and try to rebound from his defeat to Jericho and starts to fire hard and fast right hands down onto Dolph until he is lay fully on his back now on the mat. The Miz then reigns down hard right stomps until the ref intervenes and tells the Miz to lay off a touch. Taking no notice whats so ever the Miz pushes the ref out of the way and continues to stomp away at Dolph. Miz then grabs Dolph by his hair and gets him onto his feet and looks like his is going for a front suplex but is quickly countered by Dolph with a neat leg takedown showing his amateur backgroud wrestling skills. With the Miz grounded Dolph spins himself into a more comfortable position and locks in a side headlock looking to slow the Miz down and regain some momentum himself. With both men looking the control the match-up early on it looks like this could turn out to be a close one to cal

Looks like your going to be eating you words tonight King, the Miz looks fired up and ready to rumble tonight. He showing his aggressive side and I can already see his arm raised in victory.

[{Jerry Lawler}]
Well Cole were only a few minutes in and look who is currently in a neat side headlock with no answers to Dolphs technical ability already. I can already see Dolphs amateur background being the decisive factor in this one.

The match continues with Dolph still in control of the match with the side headlock. Early on the Miz has failed to provide answers to such a simple move with critics quickly jumping onto the bandwagon that the Miz is still suffering from his defeat to Jericho and is effecting him mentally. And right on cue the Miz manages to raise his body ever so slightly and flip Dolph over his shoulder and both competitors stand stalemate in the center of the ring. They circle each other once, then once again until the Miz rushed at Dolph without giving him time to counter and hits him with a clothesline, then as Dolph gets to his feet he hits another one. This time while Dolph is getting to his feet the Miz irish whips him to the ropes and hits an inch perfect dropkick right to Zigglers jaw knocking him down to the mat. But the Miz isn't finished here and as he pulls a slightly dazed Ziggler to his feet he follows up with a snap suplex. Miz seems to be in control now and is show boating as he seems to be retaining some confidence. He waits for Dolph to get to his feet and again cheaply attacks before Ziggler can react by gripping his hair and pulling Ziggler down hard onto his knee with the thud of Zigglers back hitting Miz's knee echo'ing throughout the arena. The Miz mounts Ziggler and starts to unload with vicious rights to the temple. As the Miz gets to his feet he lifts a groggy Ziggler up to and whips him into the corner where he follows up with left hands this time.



[{Jerry Lawler}]
Before you start with your bullcrap Cole I want to admit that the Miz is looking on good form but i'm not about to sit back and let you patronize me early on because remember its not over until the fat lady sings.

[{Michael Cole}]
Well King get your microphone out because the Miz is going in for the kill anytime soon!

Dolph taking the lethal blows from the Miz pulls him in close and thumbs his eye forcing the Miz to drop off the second rope. To take advantage Ziggles perches high and hits a cross body from the top rope followed with a cover.

The Miz looking quite flustered doesn't seem to impressed that Ziggler is playing him at his own dirty style game. Dolph now seeming to be the one who's more energized waits for the Miz to charge at him and takes him down with an arm drag, jumping back to his feet then dropping a huge elbow down the ribs of the Miz. Dolph stands back and as the Miz slowly gets back up he quickly grabs him by the neck and hits a swinging neck breaker. The Miz seems to be breathing quite heavy already while Dolph looks like he is just warming up. As the Miz is looking down on the mat Ziggler runs and hits him two footed in the side of the face not only knocking him back over but outside the ring under the bottom rope. Ziggler is seen smirking in the center of the ring as his exits and picks a groggy Miz back up to his feet. Looking a little like he was playing possum the Miz strong irish whipes Ziggler towards the steel steps but showing great athletic ability Zigglers manages switch the momentum and send Miz tumbling into them instead. Lifting him back up he slams the Miz's face hard into the steps at least 3 times before rolling him back into the ring and hooking one leg.

Ziggler has all the momentum now as the Miz's neck hangs on the bottom rope and Ziggler is applying pressure choking him out. After releasing him Ziggler lefts him up and drops him straight back down with an atomic drop. As Ziggler once again grips ahold of the Miz its looks like Miz returns the favour of a thumb in the eye and rolls Ziggler up with a hand full of his trunks.

You see king! You see! Everybody thought that the Miz was down and out but he's just to god damn smart!

Ziggler and Miz are now both seen in the center of the ring which so far has been a very consistent back and forth event with Ziggler holding just about the upper hand at this moment in time. They both lock up with Miz pushing Ziggler into the ropes leaning down on him showing that he is the stronger of the two superstars. Quickly reacting however Ziggler hammers down two quick right stomps to the left knee of the Miz temporarily grounding him allowing Ziggler to spring back off the rope behind him and land a hard elbow into the chest of his opponent. Ziggler lifts the half conscious Miz to his feet and is met with a kick to the gut and the first sign of any life from his opponent and the Miz hits his signature DDT. The Miz hovers Ziggler taunting ready for the skull crushing finale. Ziggler slowly gets back up and Miz hooks both arms from behind ........


Could this be the end?

Ziggler counters and rolls the Miz infront of him and hits the ZIGZAG instead! He quickly goes for the cover!

[i]Ziggler and the audience all seem surprised to how this has panned out but the Miz is showing great fighting spirit to manage the kick out. Ziggler then lifts his opponent to his feet and shocked again when he is hit with a quick belly to belly suplex and the Miz is really showing that he wants this match right now. Both men eventually get to there feet around the same time at the refs count of 4. They stand up and Ziggler takes control once again with the arm of the Miz, he then brings him in close and a nice side headlock takedown pays off. Ziggler then unlike his usual self gets to the top rope and waits for his opportunity and when felt that the time is right he dives off the top looking for a hard elbow drop but NO! The Miz rolls out of the way and Ziggler hits the mat hard. Miz rolls over and manages to get his arm over Dolph.

The Miz seems exhausted at this point in the match and looks as though he doesn't have much left so its an all or nothing situation right now. He pulls Dolph to his feet and hits a slow right hand, Ziggler returns the same favour as each hit is followed with a noise by the audience not quite sure if its a cheer or a boo. Ziggler quickly shows a sign of life when he throws himself at Miz with a clothesline but the Miz has other idea's and catches his arm, rolls underneath it and could it be!!!???

YES!!

This has been one hell of a matchup so far and the look on the Miz's face shows just how much both men have put into this.





Eventually they both are standing in the ring just about and the Miz pulls Dolph towards him a big knee connects to the stomach. Ziggler lifeless some how manages to land an elbow to the side of the jaw of the Miz which forces him to turn around which is when Ziggler jumps onto his back and the sleeperhold is locked in tight!

Not so vocal now are we Cole! Once the Miz starts to turn red and falls to the mat this one is over! I will admit it has been a valiant effort from your corner but he just wasn't mentally ready for this bout coming out of the Jericho matchup against such a big named star.

The Miz slides down grabs Zigglers legs from underneath and manages to throw him off his back in a leapfrog motion. Just as Ziggler lands infront of him the Miz hooks both arms from behind and hits it!!!

First things first Miz congratulations on your comeback victory, we haven't seen you since your clash with Jericho and we was worried something was seriously wrong.

[{Miz}]
Really? Really?............Really Matt you was all worried? Well in fact I thought i'd take a short couple of weeks away from XWL due to the disgrace that went down last month in my match up with Jericho. But quickly back onto Dolph I don't need your petty congratulations of course I was going to win. I'm the most must see superstar to ever walk these corridors of XWL. I over heard critics, I also read that critics had doubted my mental stability before going into tonights bout? HA! Well i'll tell you a little something about my mental stability and thats its perfectly fine and the only thing that its set on right now is redeeming those god awful actions last month and rightfully wearing that gold around my waist.


[{Matt Striker}]
So Miz, you seem quite bummed out about what happened so and I mean the whole of the XWL universe is so intrigued on what went wrong when you were so confident you'd keep Jericho down for the 3 count? Care to share with us?

[{Miz}]
What went wrong? You ask me what went wrong!?
I'll god damn tell you what went wrong and maybe I was confident I'd keep Jericho down down for the 3 count. And I still am confident that i'd put him on his back for the 3 count on any given night in any city in any type of match. But this match was scheduled for a singles 1 vs 1 match up and what I saw myself facing was a 2 vs 1 handicapped match so how do you expect me to win that when i've focused so hard on preparing for that one match and concentrated on exposing Jericho's weaknesses. Damn it! If I was told it was going to be a handicap match I would of had a whole different approach to the event and that Matt is why The Miz lost at November to Remember.

[Matt Striker]
I'm sorry Miz, but I don't think i'm the only one here who doesn't quite understand what you mean by handicap match? We all watched and at no point in that bout did any other superstar even come close to interfering. Care to enlighten us all please?

My god Matt you are as stupid as you look arn't you? Well let me just stand here and think for a minute what yourself and every other person was so blind to see.

Miz has started talking in a real sarcastic tone and pulls a thinking pose to mock what he believes is a stupid question from Matt Striker

Well I guess I will enlighten you all on what really happened. Lets start out early in the match where I was choking Jericho out on the second rope. The referee's 5 count seemed a little fast to me. But in the heat of the moment officiating the PPV main event my only explanation for this outrageous action could be that it was nerves. But no. When this happened again and another time when I was thrown outside of the ring which may I add only occurred because one of the photographers flash blinded my vision and allowed Jericho to take advantage. And i'll continue Matt if that's ok? When the clocks had turned in Jericho being thrown outside when the ref had reached 5 I think I had counted to 35! So only then did I realize that I now found myself in the situation of a 2 vs 1 handicap match. The Miz vs Chris Jericho and the referee. I mean I almost had it aswell, if it wasn't for that fan sat on the front row shouting 'YOU SUCK MIZ', I never would of turned around ready to give him a piece of my mind and allow myself open to Jericho's code breaker followed by a quick 3 count. So there you go Matt! That's what happened last night and that is why I'am so angry right now.

[Matt Striker]
Well Miz quite frankly I hate to argue with you on something you feel so strongly about but I honestly think your the only one who feels like this. But surely the board here at XWL would of seen the footage of that?

[{Miz}]
Yeah you would think so wouldn't you Matt you fricking idiot. You obviously don't know how things work around here. You have problems you fix them yourself. And the only problem I have right now is not having that gold around my waist. I mean come on? Look at me? I'm tall, I'm handsome, I'm the most talented and prolific superstar this company has ever set it's eyes on. Women want to date me and men want to be me. Jericho screwed me over and there is no other explanation for it. So I've had to deal with it and so will everybody else. I mean I'm just as upset as you guys are that things had to turn out the way they did but if that cocky son of a bitch ever shows me the respect a superstar of my caliber deserves and gives me my rematch I'l show him exactly what I can do by unleashing a side of the Miz nobodys ever seen before.

[Matt Striker]
I think my time here is done Miz, but before I leave for the benefit of the viewers do you have a message at all for Chris Jericho and quickly explain what you mean by this new side of you.

The Miz begins to talk while pointing at the camera directing every word he speaks at Jericho

You listen Jericho and you listen good. I don't like how you cheated me out of my title opportunity but there is no time in this company to dwell and things like that. So I won't allow myself to involve in your petty little games. I just want you to know and every single viewer we have ever had to know that when I say I'm going to get my vengeance that I god damn well mean it. No more pretty boy Miz. I'm going to get in that ring and whoop your ass so much your going to be begging for me to stop. I'l have every bone there is in your body broken, every ligament torn and every muscle ripped. I'll embarrass you on live television by forcing a grown man to cry. And I won't even stop there, the only time I'll go for the cover is when your physically incapable to move for the rest of your life when I slam your skull so hard down into the mat that the vibrations felt in your neck travel down you spine and leave you paralyzed for the rest of your life. This is no longer a game Jericho, this is a war. And one I promise to win. And you know why I can make such promises like this?

The Miz takes a step back with a smug grin on his face

The camera fades out to the next segment of the show with The Miz crazily staring down the camera

The crowd pops when the theme of The Machine Guns blares through the speakers and Shelley rises to his knees after a hard fought battle where he was finally able to put Daniel Bryan away with The Automatic Midnight. Sabin gets into the ring and hands Shelley the Ersatz Tag Title and the two men raise their arms high into the air after what turned out to be a monumental night for the both of them. Chris Sabin was able to extract his revenge on old adversary Antonio Cesaro, and his best friend Shelley just defeated a man who has a beard similar to that of Kassius Ohno. The two men get ready to leave the ring when Shelley suddenly has a change of heart and steps back into the middle of the ring. Sabin watches from the outside of the ring as Shelley asks for a mic and prepares to get something off his chest.

You know a lot of people have been calling us pathetic… pathetic and weak and impatient and two big jokes who aren’t nearly as handsome as they think. Why? Because me and Chris got tired of twiddling our thumbs on our couches watching re-runs of Metalocalypse while waiting for this company to build a division around us; now we are the division. Too many times things have looked promising only to crumble before our very eyes. Too many times we had something special going and then it faded away before we knew it. Where did all those months of effort leave us? Nowhere. And what did it leave us with? Nothing. Declaring ourselves the Ersatz Tag Champs was the first step in letting the world know that we aren’t wasting any more time. The second step is showing the guys in the back what real teams look like when we defeat three of them back to back to back at X-Treme X-mas, and then we’ll see where we go from there.

You know, when people were calling us pathetic and jokes I was starting to think they were right. Especially two weeks ago when after a year since Kurt Angle screwed me out of my chance at facing Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship, I couldn’t beat Jeff Hardy in my first number one contenders match since. But I’m not down about that anymore and I think our recent success has made it clear that while we can dominate in tic-tac-toe and videogames and have a good time out of the ring, we know how to handle our business inside of it too. We get serious when it counts and when you least expect us to and that’s when we go for the fatal blow.

The Ersatz Tag Titles may not be officially recognized by the big shots in XWL, but we’re going to defend this Sunday as if they were the real deal because being a tag team means that much to us. Since day 1, Chris has had my back and even though things got a little shaky when The King of Wrestling and AJ Styles came to town, we got through it. I’m going to do everything in my power not to let him down by losing these belts, because if I can’t hold legitimate gold then there’s no other guy in the world I’d rather hold these titles with. So ladies and gentleman, prepare yourselves because the new year is looking bright for the Machine Guns and after a wild New Year’s day of partying and shenanigans we're going to lead you all into an era that this company has never experienced before.

Tonight's SuperShow edition of Breakdown makes it's way back from a commercial break, then we quickly head back to the ringside area where a familiar theme is in the middle of playing.




The cameras direct their focus right to the middle of the ring where the recently named 2012 Diva of the Year stands with her microphone raised up, and she just gazes out into the mixed, but mostly displeased audience.



{JR}
Here she is, the woman that proclaimed last week she'd address this situation involving Beth Phoenix, and I'm not sure what to expect. Layla's usually very confident, but she's been noticeably different in her way of acting with Beth.

{Michael Cole}
Because she's been attacked for no reason at all! She's been put through two tables, all for what?

{King}
Look Cole, you can't really call it nothing. Layla did cost Beth the Divas Championship, you might not want to admit it, but her attack on Beth left her in no shape to defend her title and that's why many believe she lost.

Her silence finally breaks as she clears her throat preparing to address the people of Canada.



{Layla}
So while Brie Bella gets a one on one rematch for the Divas Championship, something I should have, but never got...I'm stuck dealing with a woman who can't own up to the fact that she, on her own, failed to stay Divas Champion. That's what this is all about, can you believe that? Oh she gave me a concussion, she cost me the title, it's all her fault, I won't rest until I make her pay, blah blah blah blah!




{Layla}
It's funny, she said she'll save you all from my constant whining and complaining, yet she's the one throwing this big tantrum because I attacked her like a month ago, I mean really? Wah, she gave me a concussion, wah I lost my title, wah wah wah wah wah! For someone that's supposed to be this strong tough woman, she sure whines a lot. But I suppose if I failed to maintain the only success I've had in years, I'd cling onto every excuse I could to avoid facing the cold hard truth as well.



{Layla}
But that's exactly what she's doing, she's pointing the finger at me, when in reality, if I came out here tonight bitching about her assault on me, and how that's the reason I lost that tag-team match two weeks ago, you people wouldn't let me get a word in edge wise because of your judgmental booing. But she expresses how she can't move on from her own failures, and she's some freaking hero to the public? Look at me I can't accept my own shortcomings so I attack someone that's never failed in their life! That's really what this is all about isn't it? Not some petty revenge, but because unlike Beth, I've actually made a name for myself! I'm the longest reigning Divas Champion in XWL history, the only woman to be named Diva of the Year twice, let alone two years in a row, and making history is like a second nature to me. Where as Beth, well, she's had a few title reigns that no one remembers, never had a memorable match in her entire career, and is so insecure with herself that she blasts models one minute, then the next dresses sluttier than they do!


Instantly the silence in the arena is filled with nothing but loud boos, it's clear they didn't appreciate Layla's last remark, and the annoying smirk on her face just makes them hate it more.




{Layla}
I'm just saying if you wanna act as if you're big bad wrestler, it might be a good idea to cover up the girls a bit, I mean I know you've experienced issues with well, looking like a woman since the day you were born. But it's not your fault you look like a man, though it doesn't help your muscles are bigger than half of the guys on the roster. So maybe that's why you cake on all that gaudy make up, wear dragalicious apparel, and target beautiful women like me. You just can't stand that I actually look my gender, I actually have talent that doesn't involve showing the world just how much I can bench, and unlike you, people actually know who I am!


She shrugs garnering more boos from this increasingly bitter crowd.



{Layla}
Oh sure you're popular now, but let's face it, you'll be lucky to still be around in six months, let alone actually relevant!


The boos just get louder and louder with each bitchy remark from the British born diva.




{Layla}
But don't let my witty remarks fool you, I'm not going to just allow myself to be anyone's victim, I've never been a victim, and I'm sure as hell not going to start now! You think you can just attack me and that's that? You'll get this silly revenge that you've convinced yourself is what will make everything right? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but just as always, I'll have the last laugh, not you. I won't, no I refuse to be intimidated by the likes of you. You've done nothing, you are nothing, and when I'm through with you, you will be nothing.



{Layla}
So how about this, I know you're back there, and I know you won't be expecting this, so Beth, get your ass out here!



The music of The Glamazon hits in pretty much instant reply to Layla's request. Beth Phoenix appears on the stage with a smirk on her face, clearly not fazed by Layla's remarks one bit. The crowd shower her with praise as she makes her way down the ramp. She climbs the ring steps and stands across from her rival, who eyes her up and down...

{King}
Ask and you shall receive, The Glamazon has arrived and I hope Layla knows what she's doing.

{JR}
I'll give Layla credit, she did call her out, but I just don't see this ending well. Beth's not someone you wanna push around, and she will not hesitate to push back.



[Beth Phoenix]
Well here I am Layla. What do you want? Do you want to say all of the crap you just said to my face? Go on, go ahead. Break the mold of the cowardly, backstabbing little bitch that you are become and actually show you have some guts to back up what you say. Or did you want me to come out here to give you another beatdown? This time in front of the XWL Universe?

The crowd pops in a big way. Layla is clearly annoyed as she raises her microphone in response.

{Layla}
Sweetie, unlike you, I ALWAYS back up what I say. I said I'd become the greatest Divas Champion in history, and lookie there, I did it! I not only held the title for a record setting seven months, I helped bring the division back up from the slums it had sunk to, champions like The Chickbusters, Trish Stratus, Maryse....oh, and YOU! It's funny how you walk around being this badass good girl that the fans all love now, it's cute really...but you weren't always the belle of the ball were you? No you were underhanded, you did whatever it took to claw your way up to the top, and while you may have been champion, you never truly were a champion. I mean let's go back to June 6th of 2010, you cowardly assaulted the then Divas Champion at the time Trish Stratus, and not only that, you did it at the beckon of Vickie Guerrero....why did you do it? To be awarded the Divas Championship! Wow, you must really suck if even you didn't think you could win it legitimately huh?



{Layla}
But of course that didn't last, you went on to lose that title, to someone that sucks at being champion almost as much you do, Michelle McCool. Your championship woes looked to finally be a thing of the past when you defeated a nobody named Kana, but of course...like always, it was too much for you, and you lost it just days later to Brie Bella of all people! I mean Brie? How you can stand there and acting like you're some tough buff chick in charge after that huge embarrassment is beyond me. But that's why you've targeted me isn't it, not because I attacked you and gave you a boo boo, but because I'm the most talked about Divas Champion in history, and you're the least! You can't stand that I'm better than you, that I don't have to spend my entire life in a gym to be better, that I don't have to have the looks of an unsightly man to be tough, and that simply put, I don't have to attack people who are better than me to feel good about myself, because no one is! Especially not you, so I'll do you a Christmas miracle, I'll forget about your little attacks, and you go back to doing what you do best, nothing!

She laughs sending the fans into a booing frenzy, and then smirks right in Beth's face as if she really believes Beth is beneath her.



[Beth Phoenix]
Really Layla? I beat a nobody named Kana to become champion? Wasn't it YOU, who lost to Kana? Your long illustrious reign brought to an end by a relative unknown in XWL. How anti-climatic. In hindsight, it was the perfect end to your reign as champion, because you only ever defended it against nobodies. Now that you have someone like me standing up to you, you're scared. You want me to back off before I expose you as the talentless waste of space that you are, because you know that you're nowhere near my level. But I've got news for you Layla. I'm not going anywhere. Not until you've paid for what you did to me, and not until I'm once again Divas Champion. So as far as your little "Christmas Miracle" offer is concerned... consider it rejected! You and I, have a lot of stuff to settle. Christmas is supposed to be the time of happiness and joy, but for you Layla, it will be a time of pain and suffering. Because right now, I'm challenging you to a match at Xtreme Xmas!

The crowd goes insane.

{Layla}
Is that what all you people want? Beth Phoenix versus Layla at X-treme X-mas this Sunday?

They once again let out another loud pop.

{Layla}
Well then that settles it, sorry but as far your little challenge is concerned...consider it rejected!

She stops as the boos once again rein in, while Beth herself doesn't seem too amused, however before she can respond Layla continues.

{Layla}
It's not that I'm afraid, I mean really, you're more nauseating than you are menacing. But, I've got better things to do, so while bringing you into the New Year more embarrassed than ever would be nice and all, thanks but no thanks.

They once again boo but she returns the hatred with a simple shrug mouthing away from the microphone "It's for her own good."



[Beth Phoenix]
Same old Layla rejecting a legitimate challenge... well if you won't accept a match for Xtreme Xmas... how about we do this right now?

{Michael Cole}
What?!

Phoenix drops her microphone and smirks satanically as she steps towards Layla. The crowd goes crazy. Layla appears shocked for a moment before fear kicks in and she cowers into the corner. Beth lands big clubbing blows to her back followed by a few shoulder thrusts, before posing for the crowd who shower her in adoration. Layla is clearly out of it and completely taken aback by this sudden onslaught as she remains slumped in the corner. Beth leaves the ring and goes under the apron. She pulls out a table much to the delight of the fans, who remember the last brutal beatdown dealt by The Glamazon...


{Michael Cole}
She can't do this! Layla said no, no means no! No means no!

{King}
In Beth's mind, no means yes!

{JR}
I think Layla should have just accepted the match, because her verbal beatdown of Beth has only made her angrier!


Layla holds the side of her ribs as she's still slumped against the corner, and that's when Beth slides the table under the bottom rope, then follows right in after it eyeing Layla with sadistic smile, she's got something in mind, and it's not going to end well for the British born diva. Beth picks the table up lifting it above her head showing it off to the excited fans once again, but then finally sets it down pulling the legs out and positioning it right in the middle of the ring.


{Michael Cole}
Run Layla!

Beth then goes back to Layla who shrieks out as she nears her, Beth grabs her long locks of hair but Layla's not going down like this, she kicks Beth in the gut, but it does nothing! Beth stands there across from her now, her smile is now gone and Layla backs against the corner, nowhere to run and no way to avoid the incoming clothesline from Beth that drops Layla to her knees instantly. Beth quickly grabs hold of her arms hooking them from behind, then pulls her up to her feet, Layla screams bloody murder as the cameras zoom in on the horrified expression that's plastered on her face. The fans begin to chant "Glamazon!" repeatedly over and over, which just fuels Beth's desire to do this even more! She looks around, then lifts Layla up sending her into a pleading screaming fit, steps closer to the table with her held high in the air then just as the fans all rise to their feet to witness this horrific moment in Layla's life, Beth's head tuns and her eyes latch onto the top rope....what's she thinking? A devious look of delight appears on her face and she throws Layla back down to the mat before moving the table closer to the corner!


{King}
Is she thinking about doing what I think she is?!

{JR}
I think so, King! Layla's about to go for a ride, and the destination won't be pretty!


Her hand glides across the table then she goes to grab Layla once again, but Layla frantically tries to crawl away, but Beth grabs her foot not letting her escape so easily. Layla screams and claws at the mat, it's a real life horror scene and Layla's about to become the victim she claims she isn't, once again. Beth easily pulls Layla towards her, then grabs her arms tightly trapping them then backs into the corner using her leg strength to climb up onto the bottom rope and then with Layla being lifted up as she climbs, Beth gets both of her feet on the second rope, and she's now crouched with Layla just hanging down, staring at the table she's about to go through. Beth stands tall, and lifts Layla into horrifying heights, the fans let out another loud pop, then Beth calls out to them getting them even more excited if that were even possible!


{Michael Cole}
I can't look!

Cole covers his eyes as Layla's screams continue to echo throughout the building.

{JR}
Good lord would you just listen to Layla's screams, she sounds absolutely terrified!

{King}
And with good reason, she's about to go splat!


Layla screams getting louder, Beth screams out "It's payback time!" prepares to launch herself and Layla off the second rope, but suddenly Layla kicks her leg back out from under her causing her grip to slip away, and Layla does the only thing she can do at that point, grab a handful of Beth's hair and throws her forward sending her crashing through the table with a brutal impact!


{JR}
Good god almighty! She's been broken in half!

Cole opens his eyes upon hearing the screeching silence from the fans and his face lights up.

{Michael Cole}
Yes! Yes! Yes! I knew you could do it, Layla! I never stopped believing in you!

{King}
I did not expect that at all...say what you want about Layla, but that's what I call quick thinking.

Layla holds onto the ropes before collapsing forward breathing as if she just avoided death itself. Beth's not moved since she flew through the table, and the fans haven't uttered a single sound.

{JR}
I can't believe what we've just witnessed!

Seconds later Layla's head raises up with devilish grin on her face as she looks down at Beth and then wraps her fingers around a stray microphone crawling over towards her rival and over the table shards getting right in her face.


{Layla}
On second thought, I accept!

She flips her hair back before raising the microphone back towards her face.

{Layla}
Nothing would bring me more joy than to put an end to your pathetic career once and for all! You're nothing, and nothing will stop me from proving that this Sunday...because I'm going to beat you at your own game, you like using tables? You like putting people through them? Well, let's just see how it feels when the roles are reserved! You, me, tables match....what do ya' say, Beth?

She places the microphone right at her mouth but nothing is uttered, Beth's clearly not in any condition to respond right now and Layla knows it, that's why she did it. The fans boo once Layla moves the microphone away and back to her.

{Layla}
Perfect!

A thud from the microphone hitting the mat follows, and Layla gets to her feet smirking before placing her foot on Beth's chest, and then proceeds to mock her by doing her signature hands above the head taunt as her theme hits.



{King}
Layla and Beth in a tables match?! I hope Layla knows what she's gotten herself into...

{Michael Cole}
She knows exactly what she's doing, she's going to get revenge in the best way possible, by beating Beth at her own game, and it all happens this Sunday!


We cut away to another shot of Layla's arrogant pose before heading to a commercial break.
