As the cameras start rolling Stephanie McMahon is in her office on her cellphone to an unknown caller discussing the on going’s in XWL

Stephanie McMahon: It's going very well. November to Remember is lining up to be a great pay-per-view, and with the Slammy's next week? This couldn't be a better first month for the McMahon regime in XWL. Just think about it, we've already crowned four new champions! Four! Things have really been shaken up around here...

Midway through her telephone call Madison Eagles storms into the office standing right in front of Stephanie waiting impatiently for her to end the call as Stephanie holds up a finger signalling that she'll be a moment

Stephanie McMahon: Hold on a minute, I'm going to have to call you back.

As Stephanie acknowledges Madison's presence, she hangs up the call and begins to address the former champion

Stephanie McMahon: And you must be Madison Eagles, you know I have to say I was expecting to be hearing from you a lot sooner than this, what has it been a week since you lost the Diva's championship?

Madison begrudgingly smiles not wanting to get on her new bosses bad side

Madison Eagles: Then I guess you know exactly why I'm here then, I want answers, Stephanie. I didn't deserve that last week, and you know it. I shouldn't of been forced into defending my championship when I wasn't prepared so it. I should STILL be Diva's champion and you know it, but instead there's a pathetic little girl skipping around here with my title and I want it back!

Stephanie McMahon: Actually Madison, I don't see it that way. In fact from what I heard a lot of people thought you didn't deserve to be champion in the first place, besides it's not as if any of the other former champions are in here complaining right now is it?

Clearly not sharing the views of the General Manager, Madison quickly retorts her opinions

Madison Eagles: The other former champions? I don't care about those guys, all I care about is ME! And last week you screwed me and I want it to be put right. I will do ANYTHING I have to do to get my title back. Back to where it belongs, and you don't want to know what I'm willing to do to make that a reality. I want my rematch, I want AJ next week on Breakdown for MY title!

Stephanie McMahon: Actually Madison, that's not going to happen. See since next week is the Slammy awards, so I've decided that next week the show will feature a number of rematches from past pay-per-views one of which involves you, when you go one on one with Torrie Wilson.

Madison Eagles: You're kidding me, right? Torrie Wilson? Again? Seriously Stephanie? A Hangman's Horror match? Don't you know what happened last time?

Stephanie smiles knowing full well what happened last time Torrie Wilson and Madison Eagles faced each other

Stephanie McMahon: Actually Madison, I know exactly what happened the last time you two faced, and that's why I wanted to see this match happen for my own eyes. Didn't Torrie beat you last time? That did happen right? You know, I heard what you said last week Madison, and if you really are the most dominant woman around here, then Torrie Wilson wouldn't be a problem for you.

Madison Eagles: Believe me, Torrie won't be a problem next week, and sooner or later I WILL get my title back no matter the cost, and no matter who I have take out to get my rightful rematch, nobody is going to stop me until a get what's mine.

Stephanie McMahon: That's good to know, because next week it's going to be a rematch from Digital Decision, in a Hangman's Horror match. That means Madison, anything goes. So the question is Madison, are you really willing to do whatever it takes?

As Madison starts speaking she seems really pleased at Stephanie's call on her match next week

Madison Eagles: You know what Stephanie? I really don't like you that much, but when you go ahead and do something like this? You have no idea how much I want to show Torrie a thing or two, and next week you're giving me the perfect opportunity to do that...I really start to think we might become friends.

Stephanie McMahon: It's good to hear that Madison, because god forbid you lost next week, that wouldn't be very good for you now would it? First losing your title to AJ, then to Torrie Wilson, maybe you're not as good as you think you are. Then there's Layla later tonight too, and then there's countless other matches in recent memory that haven't gone your way, and I can't have a Diva's champion who doesn't deliver on a daily basis.

Madison Eagles: Layla? If you actually think Layla's going to cause me any problems, then you seriously need to reconsider. I don't care who she beat in the Elimination Chamber, I don't care that she's the number one contender, tonight she's facing ME! And that means she's going to lose to me, and it's as simple as that. Everybody knows that she doesn't compare to me and tonight I'm going to prove it.

Stephanie McMahon: For your sake Madison, you better impress me tonight, or else maybe you won't be getting your rematch any time soon... Oh and Madison. I will be watching, good luck.

As Stephanie finishes speaking, Madison quickly leaves Stephanie’s office as she pulls her phone back out and starts to redial her phone as the segment comes to an end

*As Breakdown cameras cut to the next segment we are taken to a backstage area where we see Seth Rollins in a gray tank top, he looks like he's about to interviewed and moments later we hear an unfamiliar voice speak.



[Interviewer]
Seth, thanks for taking the time to do this interview.

[Seth Rollins]
No problem I have a few more things to get off my chest after what happened at Monster's Bash.

[Interviewer]
Speaking of Monster's Bash, How do you feel after your return was sort of, well "ruined" by Roman Reigns?



[Seth Rollins]
I wouldn't call it "ruined". I mean I went on that expecting the crowd to hate my guts and think I was lieing when I said I was sorry to them, but they took me in with open arms and forgived me, so I would like to thank each and every single one of my fans and we will fight and take this company by storm. I also wanted to make my point across to Dean Ambrose and I hope he doesn't think he's safe just because I'm distracted by Roman Reigns, because he will pay for what he did to me.

[Interviewer]
Interesting you say that, there are rumors going around on the internet saying that Dean might have paid off Roman to take you out. Do you believe that?

[Seth Rollins]
Honestly, I don't know. And I don't care. I mean his hit list is pretty random but you could connect the dots with a few of them being Corey Graves and John Morrison so I wouldn't rule that out.

[Interviewer]
Speaking of random, no offense, but you could say the same word about your Pay-Per-View record after returning back in December of last year. As you prepare to face Roman Reigns at November To Remember does that cross your mind at all?

[Seth Rollins]
No it doesn't matter. I mean, it's not like I've lost all of my matches or I've never been in any big matches. I've had two Intercontinental title matches in the span of two weeks, I've beaten the current World Heavyweight Champion in the first round of the King Of The Ring. I don't mean to sound rude but people need to stop writing me off. Especially Roman Reigns. He's big and strong, but he can't beat me because he has twenty Lamborghinis or fifty Rolex's or whatever kind of crap he spews out of his mouth. He's going to have to spear me more than once that's for sure because I'm going to give it my all and I will not give up.  

[Interviewer]

The victor's theme hit's the P.A, and the fans let out a pop as none other than the number one contender Layla has emerged victorious over the former Divas Champion!

Layla wins!

[King]
If there was ever any doubt about the condition of Layla's knee, I think she's silenced all doubt with this impressive performance tonight.

[Michael Cole]
I still think she's in a lot worse off shape than she let's on, but there's no denying she's picked up a very big win just now.


Layla rises up off Madison, throwing her hands in the air, letting out a smile, and soaking in the feeling of victory.



[King]
Perhaps Madison was too consumed by losing The Divas Championship to be as focused as she needed to be.



[Michael Cole]
She put up one hell of a fight, but Layla's sound kicks win her another match, building momentum on the way to her title match in just two weeks against the new champion AJ Lee.


Layla rises up, cupping the back of her head and extending her arm out with a confident glow. "I'm back!" she screams, making mention to her two recent big wins, and perhaps a possible third when she meets AJ Lee for The Divas Championship at November To Remember.




[JR]
It's been quite the night for Layla, she got one up on the woman she'll challenge very shortly for The Divas Championship, and she defeated the woman she originally would have faced at November To Remember. Quite the statement was made, but will it be enough to add another Divas title reign to her impressive resume?


[King]
There's only one way to find out, Layla meets AJ for The Divas Championship at November To Remember, AJ's in for quite the challenge in Layla.

With Breakdown continuing Josh Matthews is stood by backstage in the interviewing area



Josh Matthews: Joining me at this time, the new United States champion, Antonio Cesaro.

As Cesaro walks into camera shot the crowd start to boo the newly crowned champion as he stands tall with his championship over his shoulder next to Josh as the crowd can be heard booing in the distance

Josh Matthews: Antonio, last week you recaptured the United States championship when you defeated Kenny King on Breakdown for the second time in XWL, can I just get your thoughts on what transpired last week?



Well Josh, how do you think it feels? I deserve this, I have defeated superstar after superstar after superstar, I have defeated champions and champions elect, and now I have got my reward, I am the new United States champion, for a second time, and now there finally America has a champion that has earned the right to call themselves a champion. I am that champion, a people of the people. A champion that each and every person in this country, no the entire world can be proud of, and that is something this company has not been since the last time I had this belt before it was wrongly taken from me when I was attacked from behind and put on the shelf by a coward. A coward who knew that he could not beat me if he faced me like a man, because I am a superior athlete. And that man just happened to be a Canadian, who as the people that I now represent like to say it is typical of Canada to not man up, they're nothing but cowards, eh. But see Josh, that is just a silly stereotype, Canada has had more than their fair share of great wrestlers, The Hart Family, Christian, Edge, The Vachons, the Rougeau Brothers, and the coward who attacked me Chris Jericho.

As Cesaro quickly switches into speaking French the crowd start booing him again, unfazing the Swiss born superstar

When he finishes speaking Cesaro turns back to Josh, who then starts to ask his next question



Josh Matthews: Antonio, some people are questioning your methods used in your match last week, you were very aggressive from the get go...

Before he can go any further, Cesaro cuts him off, correcting Matthews' presumption

Josh, I must stop you right there, I did exactly what I had to do, to become champion, you cannot blame me for doing that. Just like you cannot blame me for doing that at November to Remember when I defend my new championship for the very first time, and I defeat whoever it may be, whether it's Joey Ryan or Triple H, the outcome will be the same and I will beat them in the middle of the ring.

Josh Matthews: While your first defence of your championship is two weeks away, tonight Antonio you're in the all champions main event, as you go up against the new Intercontinental champion Shawn Michaels and the new XWL World Heavyweight champion The Miz, now obviously you and Michaels have your history, but..

History? That's funny Josh, because if I'm not mistaken that is exactly what Shawn Michaels, the Heartbreak Kid, should be right now thanks to me. He should be retired, but instead he is a champion? How on earth did this happen? Who let this monstrosity happen? His career belongs to me! He shouldn't be parading around degenerating with his buddy, he should be back home in San Antonio, a city with a very fitting name, considering he belongs there thanks to me, with his wife and children, embracing his twilight years with dignity, not playing insolent pranks with Triple H, and the Miz? Why is he the one who got the opportunity at the title? Why not a man who defeated the World champion in Madison Square Garden? Why not the Über American, Antonio Cesaro, the world reknowned Antonio Cesaro, who can address all of his fans around the world in many many languages, but The Miz?

Again Cesaro starts to speak in different languages, the crowd start to boo again as Antonio transitions rapidly through some of his many tongues

Really? I am a superstar who speaks more languages than The Miz speaks full sentences, I am a man of strict discipline and honor, he is a man of TMZ and reality TV. He is not a champion, he is a joke, and not a very good one at that, and tonight I will prove that to the world.

Not entirely sure if Antonio Cesaro has finished speaking, Josh Matthews takes a moment before saying another word until Cesaro stares at him prompting him to speak up

Josh Matthews: Of course we'll find that out later on tonight, as well as the man you face at November to Remember for the United States championship, when the two men you previously mentioned Triple H and Joey Ryan will go one on one for the number one contendership, do you have any preference as to who you face for the title?



I don't know how I can put it any more clear than what I have already, I, Antonio Cesaro will take on all comers, and I will defeat all comers, whether it's The Game or Hollywood Submission Machine, it does not matter to me that matter of fact is if I had to, I could beat both of them at the same time, and I guarantee to you and everybody around the world, that I will walk out of November to Remember still your champion. But it should matter to them, as they will be stepping into the ring with the most dominant man to ever lace up a pair of boots, the pound for pound strongest man in XWL. I'm not just one half of a silly double act, I am Antonio Cesaro!, and I am very, very European.

Then when he's done talking, Antonio Cesaro walks off leaving Josh Matthews standing there as the cameras slowly fade out to a commercial break

**We are back after commercials and we are backstage with Austin Aries.**

Aries, Aries is there any chance I can get a few words from you about what just happened out there?



Austin Aries
What happened out there? I will tell you what happened out there, I beat somebody clean in the middle of that ring to show everyone that I am on the up and up here in XWL. But I wasn't aloud to celebrate my first win back was I? I mean I had Dolph Ziggler do what he is good at and that's try and sneak attack me again. But thats not just what has pissed me off right now. I am pissed off because when he then lost his chance to sneak attack me he couldn't take the beating he deserved.



Austin Aries
Dolph, look into these eyes, do I look like I am just going to let this slide?Do you think that you can just try and attack me week after week and expect me just to accept it? Well that isn't going to happen. Do I need to come find you right now and beat the shit out of you?I doubt that's going to happen thought because your probably hiding somewhere with your panties in a bunch. Dolph you thought you was going to get the upper hand again didn't you? Well tonight when I learned I had a match, I knew it was likely that you was going to come out here and try something. Your predictable Dolph but this time you got lucky you got really lucky. I hope your watching this from wherever you are. Next week how about you put up, shut up and face me in that ring one on one?Or are you worried that I am going to drop you on that pretty head of yours?

**Aries walks off looking all pissed off as we got back to ringside.**

Breakdown returns from commercial break following the match-up between Kaitlyn and Torrie Wilson and in the ring stands the winner of the match, Kaitlyn, along with Matt Striker who holds a microphone in his hand.

[Matt Striker]
First of all, I’ve got to say congratulations on the big win against Torrie Wilson here tonight, Kaitlyn. Secondly, a lot of people are wondering, but why did you say “No” to Maria’s challenge last week? It was the chance to get rid of her and seek revenge but you pretty much declined it. Could you explain?

Kaitlyn lets out a little laugh before speaking.

[Kaitlyn]
When all of this started, this was about me getting revenge on her for costing me a rematch at the championship. Did you hear what I said; this is about me getting revenge. Not her revenge because I pinned her in the elimination chamber, this is my revenge after she screwed me out of getting a rematch for the Divas Championship and costing me a month of my career.

[Matt Striker]
That kind of makes sense but I mea-

[Kaitlyn]
It’s hard for you to understand it. It’s hard for these people to understand it. It’s probably hard for even Maria to understand it. But to me, I perfectly understand it. I like her little challenge, I like what she suggested. But this is my revenge on her for what she has put me through and if anyone is going to be the one to make a match, it is going to be me. She comes out here and complains about being eliminated from the chamber by me and apparently it’s a big deal for her. I’ll admit, it is a big deal when you’ve amounted to nothing in the near five eyars you have been here. In a career where you have no championships, accomplishments, being eliminated like that can be seen as big to you. To me, losing to Layla sucked big time, but I have other things to focus on before I once again become champion.

[Matt Striker]
So are we going to be hearing you lay out a challenge to Maria?

[Kaitlyn]
Of course, and considering I liked what she suggested so much, I’m willing to challenge her to a No Disqualification match at November to Remember. If she wants to put her contract on the line, that is just an additional plus to me because it makes my job a lot easier. So this is just for Maria to accept, even though I’m sure she will accept it, I’m laying out the challenge now. It will be Kaitlyn vs. Maria; No Disqualification match at November to remember where Maria chooses to put her contract on the line.

[Matt Striker]
It should be an interesting match to say the least.

[Kaitlyn]
You’ve got that right, all the things that I could do in there. It’s hard to wai-




Suddenly Maria's theme blasts through the arena causing blaring boo's to take over the fans. Maria makes her way out from behind the curtain and onto the stage with a microphone in hand. She stares right down the ramp and into the ring at Kaitlyn as she awaits for her theme to die down before raising the microphone to speak.

{Maria}
Kaitlyn, I have sat and watched long before I came back into this company at how you were draining the very life out of this division. I picked you out as the reason I came back to XWL, you were my target long before what went down and I plan on ending your career. So I accept your challenge, and I'm actually letting you know now.....

She pauses for a second and a cold yet evil little smile appears on her face as she begins to speak once again.

{Maria}
After November to Remember you'll never be able to wrestle again...

Maria continues staring down Kaitlyn as she lowers the microphone and begins to back her way back through the curtain. The segment then comes to a close as we fade to the next segment.

First i just wanna say i walked out with a lucky Victory tonight and everyone and the back knows Goldust still has is it. Tonight marks the era of gold for xwl and theres more gold to come each week so with that being said do i think i had a great match hell yea i do. do i think that i kicked some ass yes i do.


*As Goldust trys to leave the ring he hears..*



*As Chris Hero stands at the entrance looking at Goldust, Scott Hall picks up a chair wait for goldust to turn around*

Jerry Lawler: OMG JR.. Scott Hall has taking Goldust out with that chair and now Hero is walking down to the ring.



*As Scott Hall hits Goldust with the the chair once more Chris Hero picks up the mic and starts to speak.*

Well well well look who actually won a match Goldust wow you seemed steamed out there looks like you should of stayed back in nxt or whatever hell hole you came out of.-Hero puts hand through hair- You know you make me sick that you come out here and actually kiss up to these fans like they actually care about you Goldust when are you gonna stop following the footsteps of your own man and stop failing and actually make a name for yourself. For example the n.w.o everyone in here have been succesful in any way or matter for example Scott Hall,Chris Hero,Generico or "sami zayn"i could go on and on and on but i'm not going to do that you people dont deserve you hear me talk Scott you want to take over?

*Hero puts mic on the ground and leaves the ring*

Later in the Match...


Jericho is lining it up! Del Rio slowly gets to his feet and turns, Jericho leaps and goes for the Codebreaker!! But Del Rio widens his base and blocks the move. He drags Jericho from that position, up onto his shoulders before tossing him up into the air while dropping onto his back putting both knees into the air as Jericho comes crashing down onto them! Del Rio tries firing himself up and the crowd joins in as they start clapping along and Alberto gets to his feet. He starts slapping his wrist as the crowd switches from clapping to chants of "Si!". Jericho staggers to his feet and turns right around into Alberto, who grabs Jericho's arm and tries for the Cross Arm Breaker! Jericho locks his hips and it's his turn to block a hold as he keeps Del Rio from cinching in the submission. They continue to struggle an-!


{Jim Ross}
What is he doing?!

{Jerry Lawler}
He's not even an employee for this company!


The commotion is over Brad Maddox jumping over the barrier behind the announcer's booth! He grabs a steel chair as security jogs over and he swings! Security backs up and away as he sprints through them and dives into the ring where the match is taking place!


{Michael Cole}
What's he going to do?!


Maddox swings and slams the chair over the back of Alberto! Alberto's hold on Y2J breaks as he falls to one knee. Jericho rolls from out of the ring as the referee calls for the match to be thrown out. Maddox starts smiling and waving the chair in the air as if he's won the World Championship or something. He turns away from his target and towards the fans and starts trying to cheer over their boo's but to no avail. Behind Maddox, over his shoulder, Del Rio's enraged face appears over it drawing an enormous reaction from the crowd! Maddox smiles hugely thinking the fans have shown him support only to think for a moment and look down towards the mat and draw a look of despair on his face. He slowly steps back until he bumps into the chest of Del Rio which causes him to turn and face him but backs himself into the ring corner.


{Jim Ross}
It looks like Maddox is the Miz's next assassin, and he's clearly in trouble now!


Del Rio takes several steps back and stares down Maddox who drops to his knees and starts begging Del Rio for mercy. Alberto grins and out of nowhere blasts Maddox with a Super Kick!! The fans erupt as Del Rio starts slapping is chest in pure excitement and struts around the ring. Suddenly, he stops and his expression goes blank as he looks towards the stage. Alberto sprawls from the ring to the outside and storms to the back as the fans cheer and the segment ends.

Backstage, an interviewer is standing by but there’s no one around for him to interview. He must be yet another victim of the struggle that has plagued so many in the world since the beginning of time when cave men drew on walls and Shawn Michaels was just starting out in the business. You know, back when suplexes and simple DDTs made for a convincing finisher and fancy flips from the top rope were as likely as an alien invasion. Realizing that he’s now being recorded just standing there awkwardly, the interview runs a hand through his hair, adjusts his tie and clears his throat before finally speaking.

Gaz the Interviewer
Ladies and gentleman, this is a tad awkward, but I was supposed to be interviewing Paul Heyman tonight but he hasn’t showed up and I just received word during the break that he may not be in the building tonight. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience and the disappointment as there was so much I wanted to ask him about, from his plans to take Curtis Axel’s career to the next level, to the challenge his laid out on behalf of Brock Lesnar against Sangriento, but I guess we’ll just have to take a rain check on this. Hopefully things go better next…

Don West
Paul Heyman isn’t in the building, huh?

The cameraman spins around and the mystery voice belongs to none other than Don West! Sangriento is right behind him, and together the two men approach this scrawny looking interviewer and stand on either side of him.

Don West
Are you gonna answer my question or not?

Sangriento
¿Sí o no?

Gaz the Interviewer
S—sorry, no, Paul Heyman never showed up tonight.

Don West
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Sangriento

N-no I’m not. Apparently, from what I’ve been told through my ear piece, he took the night off because he has big plans for next week and the pay per view.

I bet you thought I was going to go for a cheap shot and make a fat joke, didn’t you?

Paul Heyman may have you believe that he took the night off because he needed some time to prepare, but I bet the real reason is because last week, when he had the cojones to challenge my client to a match… How was that, Sangriento, did I say it right?

Why, grass-e-ass, to you. Anyway, last week, Heyman wrote a check that his client won’t be able to cash. He thinks that Brock Lesnar is going to just wipe the floor with my client, and that’s where he’s wrong. Brock Lesnar may be bigger, he may be stronger, he may be older and a little rounder around the edges, but he is not, I repeat: not better than Sangriento. And next week, he better show up because I’d love to say all of that to his face.

With that said, West walks away leaving the interviewer standing there by himself with what looks to be a piss stain running down the length of his pants. Poor guy.

MAIN EVENT



15 MINUTES LATER

As all three men lie flat out in the centre of the ring for what has been a back and forth brutal match so far, HBK kips up in a signature fashion to much delight of the audience. HBK is pumped and is really feeling it tonight as he makes his way over the corner and starts to ‘tune up the band’. The crowd really get behind HBK and it looks as if he has his options wide open as Cesaro slowly gets to one knee the Miz is using the ropes behind him steadily getting to his feet at the same time. As Cesaro does regain balance and stands in the middle of the ring unsuspecting of HBK just to his right he turns around and inevitably HBK is down his throat in seconds and fires a sweet chin music his way and by instinct only Cesaro ducks and moves out of the way, however the Miz turns around and takes the full blow instead and is cleaned out on the mat. HBK looks to Cesaro then back to the Miz and in a few seconds of confusion HBK has let the Miz roll out of the ring and drop to the outside and no hereby focuses his attention back to Antonio Cesaro who stands opposing him with a sinister look on his face.

Well would you take a look at that! Cesaro avoids the blow and HBK still manages to take the Miz’s head off instead!

This match has been incredible so far! All three new champions earning their stripes against one another here tonight in my opinion!

Cesaro thinking on his feet to get out of the way just like the Miz did rolling out of the ring because now he can’t be pinned!

Jerry Lawler
Yeah but now that leaves just Cesaro and HBK in the ring to fight this one out and there’s nothing he can do by the looks of his condition right now!

Cesaro and HBK both square up as they circle each other before engaging in a collar and elbow tie up which Cesaro shows his superior strength by easily overcoming HBK before dropping to one knee and swerving behind his opponent lifting him up and slamming back down hard on the mat. Cesaro rolls him over and proceeds to grab a hold of his legs before dragging HBK into the centre of the ring as it becomes clear what’s about to come next. Cesaro then begins to slowly swing HBK around and around in his signature fashion before lifting him higher and higher. He continues to do so until he reaches roughly 20 spins until he lets go and watches as HBK crashes hard on the opposing side of the ring. Clearly affected himself by this move Cesaro stumbles around before he is taken by surprise as the Miz rolls him up and looks for the quick win.

Cesaro somehow manages to get his shoulder up as the Miz looks on in disbelief. The Miz now backs up and looks at the two other men in the ring, HBK still out on the mat, Cesaro getting up to his feet. It’s at this point the Miz raises both his hands and signals for the skull crushing finale and as he slowly creeps up on Cesaro he is soon taken out by a flying forearm smash from HBK who seemed to appear from nowhere!

That’s the beauty of a triple threat match right there ladies and gents!

You just never know what’s going to happen next, I love the unpredictability if I must say so.

There’s nothing unpredictable about this match, the Miz and Antonio Cesaro are the superior superstars in this match up and it’s between them who’s going to be the victor.

I think it’s fair to say that this one’s wide open from what we’ve seen so far Cole, I wouldn’t rule anybody out right now.

Now Cesaro turns around to see HBK stood up and the Miz down and not fazed by the event Cesaro makes a lunge for HBK who is quickly pushed into the corner. Cesaro slowly walks towards him before grabbing his arm and forcefully pulling him out of the corner and straight into a massive clothesline nearly taking his head off his shoulders. Cesaro looks around clearly in control at the moment and takes the time out to taunt. He looks to be waiting for HBK to get to his feet and doesn’t notice the Miz climbing the turn buckle behind him. Just as he looks around he sees the Miz about to make his jump from the top rope and as the world heavyweight champion comes crashing down in hope of landing his signature axe handle he quickly eats up a huge uppercut from Cesaro instead with a huge impact echoing throughout the arena causing the majority of the audience to ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’. This small set back seems to of given HBK enough time to get to his feet but unfortunately it’s not enough time to escape the grips of Cesaro who soon forces his head between his legs and slowly lifts him up looking for the neutralizer. Just as HBK his lifted into the air the Miz stands up looking to intervene before dropping back down into the corner.

I have no idea King but it looks as though Cesaro is about to put this one away if he doesn’t act quickly!

Cesaro then sends HBK back down landing hard on the mat as he hits his finishing manoeuvre. Before rolling him over for the cover Cesaro stands up and slaps his chest shouting at the audience about how to get the job done properly. Then, within seconds the Miz appears behind him and quickly hits the skull crushing finale!

He was playing possum! The Miz was waiting for the right opportunity to strike all along!

I’ll have to give him credit for that, it was a smart move.

The Miz quickly looks to cover HBK who seems to be the nearest opponent to him.

HBK manages to kick out showing great resiliency and the Miz throws his hands onto his head looking around as if to say what to do next before quickly realising a close to unconscious body belonging to Antonio Cesaro just inches away from him and quickly scambles over on his hands and knees before hooking both legs.

The Miz! The Miz has done it! What a great start to the era of the Miz this is!

I wouldn’t quite go as far as that Cole but I will hand it to the Miz that was a good and well deserved victory.

The Miz is quickly handed his title to which he holds proudly above his head as he overcame the other two newly crowned champions in an intense triple threat match up. The other two superstars slowly make their way out of the ring and back up the ramp respectively as the Miz continues to show boat and hold up his title in the air.



However the Miz’s celebrations are cut short as an uproar in the crowd seems to take him a back slightly but there not cheering for him but the man who’s running up behind him that is none other than the number one contender Alberto Del Rio! Del Rio seemingly hopped the security barrier and knocks the Miz off the second rope with sharp axe handle to the back. The Miz falls back and is quickly followed up on with some harsh stomps which Del Rio is relentless in stopping. Trying to fight Del Rio off with all he’s got the Miz fails miserably but does however manage to roll out from underneath the bottom rope holding his head leaning against the security barrier on the outside. Del Rio is soon in hot pursuit as he also slides under the bottom rope and begins to hammer away the Miz’s skull with hard right hands before rolling him back into the ring as Del Rio is letting off all the steam he’s seemingly built up from the two arranged attacks he’s been a victim to tonight. The Miz again helpless to this attack after just competing in a gruelling triple threat is slowly getting to his knee’s as Del Rio is getting the crowd behind him waiting for the perfect moment and just like that skips down the ring and lands a super kick right to the temple of the Miz.

The Miz’s body drops in a worrying fashion as Del Rio raises his arms up much to the delight to his fans who seem to be out in force tonight. Not done here Del Rio signals for the cross arm breaker and without further ado rolls the Miz over and locks it in! Within seconds the Miz is seen squirming and wriggling in unimaginable pain and begins to tap out! Still not letting go Del Rio is on a mission right now but is quickly stopped as he is pulled back by two other superstars who soon become clear to be Brad Maddox and Alex Riley. Both Maddox and Riley begin to stomp away at Del Rio before lifting him up and tossing him over the top rope before checking on the world heavyweight champion who is lay lifeless in the middle of the ring.

Del Rio seemingly happy with his work begins to walk slowly back up the ramp shouting down to the Miz “just you wait until I get my hands on you in two weeks!” Maddox and Riley slowly help Miz hobble to his feet barely able to walk the world champ is stumbling around the ring and just as things seemed to of looked to be over a familiar theme song suddenly hits out and things are looking to get from bad to worse right now for the Miz.

The theme of the Mr. Money in the Bank brings about a tremendous pop from the fans, Alberto's head turns around, he's supposed to be the one taking the title from The Miz, not Ted...DiBiase bursts out from behind the curtain, a referee keeping up behind him, his briefcase in his hands, this is not a drill, it's actually happening!

Oh but it is, and would you just listen to this arena?!

They're ready to see a new World Heavyweight Champion, and for the third time in three weeks!


Ted zooms past Alberto, sliding into the ring, Miz swings for a clothesline, but Ted ducks under his arm, tossing his case down to the mat, hooking The Miz in an instant and slamming him down with The Silencer! The fans pop once again, getting louder and louder, Ted's eyes lower to his case, Riley and Maddox start to creep closer, but Ted raises his briefcase up, holding it ready to fight, and they back off, realizing this will end badly for them if they don't let him go about his business.

DiBiase hits The Silencer! The Miz is out, this is the moment Ted's been waiting for!

Stephanie told Ted not to miss his opportunity when it came along, and if this isn't the perfect time to strike I don't know what is.

Someone do something! It can't end this way, The Miz just won it, how is this fair?!

It wasn't exactly fair for Alberto last week either but I didn't see you saying anything then.

That's different! Alberto wasn't assaulted beforehand, The Miz never even had a chance!

He had two goons doing his dirty work!

Exactly!


Ted feels it, this is it, the World Heavyweight Championship is just seconds away from being his again! Ted looks at his contract filled case, his eyes meet the referee's, and he extends the case out to him!






Michael Cole
YES!


Just as the referee reached for the case, to make this official, Edge's theme hits immediately getting an overwhelming amount of boos in response. Ted's eyes bulge out, his face reddens, his excitement fades, his head turns, and there he is...Edge is on the stage! Edge waves at DiBiase, knowing he's got his attention....but will Ted let this stop him from seizing the moment? DiBiase looks at his case, he looks at Edge, he looks at the downed Miz.....and after letting out an angry roar, Ted charges out of the ring and hightails it up the ramp!

No! That's what he wants Ted!

Edge is running to the back!


Edge smirks, jumping through the curtain and out of sight, Ted's a man posessed by anger and the need to have revenge on Edge...so much so that he's perhaps thrown away his big opportunity to regain The World Heavyweight Championship tonight.

Miracles do happen! Everything went better than expected!

Talk about taking the road less traveled, Ted's opted not to cash in, and instead chase after Edge....something tells me this was Edge's plan all along, he knew Ted would go after him, and I bet he's got a quick escape plan to make this all a big mistake on Ted's part.

Man what a show it was, but that's all the time we've got...next week XWL presents The Slammy Awards, good night!



The camera zooms in on a delirious Miz clinging to his title, it almost went wrong for him tonight, but somehow he's managed to escape tonight with his title in tact...all thanks to a little distraction from Edge. The show comes to an end as Del Rio stands on the ramp, staring at The Miz, shouting "You won't be so lucky at November To Remember!"
