We cut backstage to where Torrie Wilson is being interviewed ahead of her match tonight with Maria and her thoughts on the first ever diva’s elimination chamber last night.



Interviewer
Well Torrie, last night we saw the first ever diva’s elimination chamber match where you unfortunately found yourself the third competitor eliminated at the hands of Kaitlyn. Can I get your thoughts on the match as a whole and what this means for the diva’s division from this point onwards?

Torrie Wilson
Well I’d be a liar if I said I wasn’t slightly disappointed that I failed to reach the final three of the match because that was my minimum target I set myself beforehand. But I can’t be bitter, I watched on from my dressing room to see Layla over come yet another massive hurdle when she took out Kaitlyn and became the first ever diva’s elimination chamber winner and the new number one contender for the diva’s championship. I gave everything I had in that match and it just so happened that it wasn’t enough, so I don’t see the point in dwelling on it any longer and instead taking the positives out of the situation. The obvious one would of course having the bragging rights over the bella’s. Nothing feels better than knowing you’ve done better than they have just on the sole reason to how they walk around the company thinking that they own the place. But aside from that I got to be a part of history. I got to be one of the first diva’s to compete in a elimination chamber and that alone will get my name down in the history books regardless of where I finished in that match. Now of course I will one day be in the history books for having a reign as diva’s champion but it just looks like that time isn’t right now, instead it looks like its Layla time to step up and face the newly crowned champion Aj Lee at November to Remember.

Interviewer
You just touched that Aj Lee is the new champion, tonight Torrie we’ve seen three new champions crowned in an epic week for XWL fans all over the world as the new McMahon take over kicks off with a big impact. Care to share your thoughts?



Torrie Wilson
Well I openly said to everybody that when Hogan’s job was under review I of all people was one of the few that felt he deserved to keep it. Hulk believed in me and he gave me the opportunities we both felt I deserved and I can’t thank him enough for that and I hope he realises just how appreciative I am of that. But, on the other hand the McMahon’s new takeover could be the start of a whole new era here in XWL and I know for a fact I’m not alone when I say I’m super excited to see just what unveils over the coming months. I mean, c’mon, let’s face facts, they’ve been in charge officially since last night and already we have three new champions! I believe the McMahon family have the right attitude XWL needs to send the company in the right direction. It also gives all superstars and diva’s a clean slate, any grudges or any history anybody had with the previous owners and general managers is gone, and that means that right here and now is an open opportunity to showcase exactly what you can do and build yourself a good reputation right from the get go. And that is exactly what I intend to do tonight when I go up against another elimination chamber participant Maria.

Interviewer
Maria was the diva who was eliminated just before you last night, do you believe that will have any effect on tonight’s match? Taking into consideration fatigue and any injuries sustained or maybe just in the general sense that you believe that by outlasting her it means you have the upper hand because you’re of a higher ability than she is.



Torrie Wilson
Well, I can’t say I agree with that entirely no. You see, every diva whether eliminated first or last will be carrying some sort of injury or still be feeling the effects of last night because every single one of us went through a lot. Now to the extent in which that effects you in a match a day later totally depends on the individual and the injury itself and what body parts are effected, so no, I believe me and Maria are in the same boat here tonight. And the point you made on me outlasting her? I don’t believe that will have any kind of impact tonight either. Just because I lasted longer than her doesn’t mean I think I’m better than her, it just means I was that little bit better on the night. Considering I was the next to be eliminated to I wasn’t that much better. Who knows, tonight Maria may bring her A game which last night would of won her the elimination chamber, you can’t foresee these kind of things. You just have to make sure that you’re as ready as you can be and that when the time arrives you give it your all and can walk away knowing that you couldn’t have done anything more.

As Torrie finishes her interview an XWL worker whispers in her ear and takes her off camera to what we can only presume to prep her ahead of her match which is set to get underway very shortly.

**Breakdown returns from a short commercial break to the sight of Wade Barrett walking along a backstage hallway, As the cameraman struggles to keep pace with Wade he begins to speak.**

Interviewer
Excuse me Wade can you please tell us why you attacked Zeb Colter at The Monster's Bash in what many people are calling an uncalled for assault to Jack Swagger's fellow patriot.

Wade Barrett
Last week I made my return to XWL by making a statement. I made an example out of Zeb by doing what I did, Not that he didn't deserve it for praising a failure like Jack Swagger and claiming that there's not a single thing on earth that can stop Swagger. Now clearly when he made that rather bold and quite honestly ridiculous declaration he wasn't expecting someone to bring the fight to him and his little buddy, Last week I showed everyone that without Swagger Colter's nothing other than a broken down old man. Some people have called me a thug because of that attack, But I stand by it because the day I let a disgrace to this industry hold the championship that I ended careers to earn. When you think about it Zeb and Swagger will be gone soon, Yet another failed attempt by Swagger to be anything more than a failure.

Interviewer
Aren't you worried about some form of reprisal from Swagger, After you brutalized his closest friend in such a manner?

Wade Barrett
Of course not, You're talking to the man that destroyed the careers of both Jeff Hardy and Ezekiel Jackson in the same month. I couldn't care less what Swagger does now because weather he comes after me or not he's still going to leave here with his tail between his legs. The way I see it he has two options: Number 1 is that he could come after me and recieve the single greatest beating of his life in front of the entire world, or he could select option two which is where he quietly slinks back into unemployment and never bothers anybody with his "We the people" nonsense. Either way Swagger will reveal himself for the weakling he is. Make no mistake when I returned last week, I fully intend to follow up and destroy not just Swagger's championship hopes but his entire career.

**Wade walks past the camera towards his dressing room before being speared in the side of his ribs by a man with blond hair, As the camera man rushes to get closer to the action the man is revealed to be Jack Swagger as most of the audience had already assumed. Jack's now laying punches as fats as he can move his arms as Wade covers up with his back against the wall. after a few moments of this Wade manages to adjust his positioning enough to shove Swagger off him before leaping up and landing a devastating right hand. Swagger briefly shakes his head to get rid of any effect the blow had on him before he raises his hand and prepares to strike with Wade, Swagger lands the first blow of what now resembles something of a boxing match as he lands a quick body blow before quickly backing off, preventing Wade from returning the favor. Once more Swagger goes for the same punch, but Wade's ready for him and lands a heavy right hand. Wade doesn't give Swagger a moments respite as he charges after Swagger hitting a devastating shot to every part of Swagger's body left unprotected. Suddenly Swagger receives a burst of energy and catapults himself forward tackling Wade to the floor along with himself, Both men rise to one knee before exchanging blows with one another. As they gradually make it to their feet several officials and other wrestlers can be seen huddled around them in excitement, Once both men are on their feet several members of security rush forward to prevent any further violence and with the aid of the people watching are able to keep them separated.**

Del Rio storms out with an intense look and a prepared mind as he enters the arena where his sore body will defend his newly won World Heavyweight Championship.



He slaps his chest and yells to the crowd whoe cheers and applause quickly rise to a roar to match their champion's intensity as he reaches the base of the ramp.



He storms up the steps and quickly ducks into the ring where in one motions spins and unsnaps the belt from his waist and raises it into the air and starts parading around the ring showing it to all the fans! He calms down and stops in the center of the ring, only to let a big grin overtake his face as he suddenly points to the ramp where his best friend Ricardo Rodriguez takes his place with a microphone!

Señoras y señores, mi orgulloso introducen a todos en el nuevo Campeón Peso Pesado del Mundo y mi mejor firend! ALBERTOOO DELLLL RRRRIOOOOO!!!!!

The crowd does the introduction along with Ricardo and after he finishes Del Rio and him nod to each other before Ricardo slips back into the backstage area and just as the fans start dying down.......

AWWWSOOOOOMMEEEEEE

The Miz’s theme hits and out he jumps from behind the curtain with a smirk on his face and an extra bounce in his step as he makes his way down to the ring with a possibility of walking back out of this arena the world heavyweight champion.



Lillian Garcia
And his opponent, weighing at 221 pounds from Parma, Ohio, Theeeeeeeeeeee Mizzzzzzzzz!

Michael Cole
Here we go, Breakdowns main event is right here and now folks! And I can’t wait to see the Miz walk out the new world heavyweight champion.

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
I don’t think you should be getting to ahead of yourself here Cole, Alberto Del Rio if you recall eliminated the Miz in the very elimination chamber he won in order to earn the shot he had against Christian last night. Which of course he won!

Jim Ross
And what a hell of a match that was. But, if any of these two superstars are not at 100 percent after both competing last night it’s inevitable to make an impact here tonight.

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
Exactly JR! Although you have to think about the fight inside the superstar not just the fights they endured last night! Del Rio has finally made it to the top and there’s no way I can see him letting that title slip from his hands tonight.

Michael Cole
Oh please King give it a rest. Del Rio is at a disadvantage because the Miz is what’s best for Mizness. You heard him say it himself here tonight! And now he’s been given the chance to prove it I know he won’t let the McMahons down.



Jim Ross
Well just take a look in the Miz’s eyes, he looks fired up and ready to go! Him and Del Rio haven’t looked away from each other since being in the ring!

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
Well there’s certainly no love lost between these two superstars JR! But I think we’re missing the point on how this is Del Rio’s first run as world heavyweight champion and only becoming champion last night he’s going to be more than willing to put everything on the line tonight to ensure it’s his arm that gets raised when the dust settles.

Michael Cole
Oh please.



Jim Ross
Well looks like we’re about to get this match on the road and I for one cannot wait to see how this plays out. Good luck to both men for what has the potential to be one hell of a match.

The two men circle each other intensely trading insults to each other and telling one another just what’s about to happen to them in the coming seconds. The crowd are anticipating this match up just as much as the two superstars are and are definitely letting the voices be heard and showing which way there support is swinging with the chants of “ MIZ IS AWFUL” and “SI SI SI”.





20 Minutes into the match

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
The Miz is going to tap! He’s going to tap! It’s just a matter of seconds before this one is over folks!

Jim Ross
It’s certainly not looking good for the Miz, Del Rio has that armbar locked in tight! It’s just not natural for the arm to bend that way and I can’t see the Miz holding out for much longer.

Michael Cole
His only way out of this is to get to the ropes, that armbar is locked in tight and there is no way he’s getting out of it.

The Miz is trapped in a firm cross armbreaker by the current champion Alberto Del Rio, the Miz is fighting with everything he’s got to get to the ropes. He’s moving inches at a time and with only a few more feet to go until he can tough the bottom rope it’s got to feel like a lifetime away as Alberto continues to apply the pressure and the referee is in the Miz’s ear asking if he wants to give up. With Del Rio’s face reddening now due to the amount of pressure he’s putting on the Miz’s arm it’s looking like he’s going to give up or let his arm snap. As the Miz raises his hand in the air some of the audience let out a cheer as they expect it to come crashing back down and witness the Miz tap out, but instead it propels to the bottom rope and with everything he has the Miz manages to shift his body just that little bit needed to get ahold of it. Rope break is called by the referee and Alberto Del Rio lets go immediately and steps back as the Miz rolls out of the ring and hits the floor on the outside clutching his arm.

Michael Cole
There we go Miz, that’s what we needed, he got to that rope when everybody here doubted him.

Jim Ross
I must admit Cole, I didn’t think he was going to get it, the Miz looked like he was ready to tap at any point.

Michael Cole
Well then JR you don’t know the Miz like I do, I know just how tough he is and just how determined he is to win the title tonight. No way in hell is he going to tap. The only way he’s going to lose the match is if he’s stretched out and put into an ambulance.

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
Well that might still be an option Cole! Look at the Miz holding onto his arm! That was some hold Del Rio had on him and that’s going to affect him for the remainder of this match up! And judging by the look on Alberto’s face I think he’s just as, if not more determined to win this match than the Miz is!

Del Rio wastes little time in letting the Miz regain his composure and rolls out of the ring looking to get right back on the attack. As the Miz uses his good arm to help balance himself out as he leans on the edge of the ring Del Rio comes steaming in, unknown to the Miz, and lets go a veracious boot to the mid section sending the Miz toppling over and lay out on the steel steps. Del Rio stalks his prey as the Miz clearly the more beaten of the two opponents shows minimal signs of life as he tries to stand up. Del Rio reaches out and pulls the arm he previously had in the cross arm breaker and lays it out on the top of the steel steps. The Miz, still weary from the gruelling match and countless efforts of his opponent to put him away is unable to stop Del Rio from marching up onto the steps himself before jumping up and stamping hard on the said arm as the Miz shoots back and rolls around in pain on the outside.

The referee’s count now reaching a five count Del Rio steps inside the ring looking to catch his own breathe now knowing in the back of his mind that if the Miz doesn’t make it back into the ring then he will still retain his title. Del Rio begins to slap his forearm getting the electric Mississippi audience on their feet and behind their champion. As Del Rio walks up and down the ring the ref’s count now reaches a worrying 8 count before the Miz rolls inside the ring to the disappointment of the audience. As the Miz slowly struggles to get to his feet clutching his arm once again, Del Rio lines himself up for his finishing super kick. As the Miz gets to his knees he looks up and before he can even acknowledge where he is Del Rio skips down the ring and attempts his super kick. Not only to his surprise but to the surprise of the whole arena the Miz drops his shoulder and leans back not only avoiding the kick but grabbing ahold of the outstretched leg as he does so. He then proceeds to roll over to his right sending Del Rio crashing down on his back and reaching to his knee where the impact is clearly affecting. The Miz however doesn’t stop there and still with Del Rio’s right leg in his grasp he jumps to his feet and the boo’s begin to reign is as they know what’s coming and before anybody can stop him the Miz soon has the figure 4 leg lock, locked in and in the centre of the ring with nowhere Del Rio can go.

Michael Cole
It’s locked in! In the centre of the ring! This one’s all over we’re going to crown a fourth new champion right here and right now!

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
Don’t get too ahead of yourself Cole, the Miz overcame the cross armbreaker just moments ago through grit and determination to become the new champion, I’m backing that Del Rio can overcome this through grit and determination to stay champion!

Michael Cole
Oh please come on King stop being such a kiss ass and face the facts! Del Rio is trapped and it’s all going to be over very soon!

Jim Ross
Well Del Rio is trying to spin himself over as we speak! If he can then the pressure on his legs will transfer onto the Miz and then he will be the one in danger.

Michael Cole
That’s not going to happen because Del Rio is going to tap right here and now!

The chants for Del Rio get louder and louder and just as it looks as if things are all over for the champ he digs in deep and with all his energy rolls over and reverses the hold now applying the pressure to the Miz who squirms and wriggles in pain. As Del Rio arches his back looking for more leverage on the hold, the Miz using his available arms drags himself to the bottom rope yet again breaking a hold that could have potentially ended the match. Both men stay down as the referee looks at them both before beginning his count to 10. He reaches the count of 5 before both men with the help of the ropes at either side of the ring make their way to their feet almost in sync. As the Miz looks across as Del Rio who is yet to turn around he looks to make the most of the situation and stumbles across the ring and puts his hands on Del Rio’s shoulders. Quick to react Del Rio turns around breaking the hold while backing it up a few left and right hands until the Miz stumbles back looking dazed before Del Rio capitalises and whips him into the corner. Del Rio takes a few steps back and puffs out his chest while taking in a deep breath as he runs towards the Miz looking to hit his signature enziguri. To no avail Del Rio misses as the Miz ducks the outstretched foot and rolls to the outside before leaning on the security barrier catching his breath.

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
I just can’t seem to call this one! Once the match looks to be in the favour of one superstar it takes an unlikely turn and flips on its head!

Jim Ross
I couldn’t agree more King, whenever you feel like one superstar has the match won the other finds a second wind and retaliates with momentum of their own!

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
It’s fair to say that with all other three titles finding new owners already tonight it would great to see Del Rio retain here against the Miz and not only because of all the effort he put in to earn the shot and then follow that up with a victory last night. But solely on the effort he’s put in tonight. He’s shown a real champions fighting spirit and I hope he gets what he deserves.

Michael Cole
Save your sob stories for your own time King, nobody is more deserving than the Miz, he’s been overlooked his whole career here in XWL and now he’s finally got his chance against a fluke of a champion he won’t let it slide.

As Del Rio gets to his feet holding his leg as he seems to of took a harsh landing when he missed the enziguri the Miz creeps up behind him inside the ring and hooks underneath both arms and looks to hit the skull crushing finale! But no! Del Rio fires away with elbows to the side of the Miz’s head until the hold is broken before executing a side headlock takedown putting his opponent on the mat. Rolling away Del Rio looks down on the Miz wondering what it’s going to take to put this match to rest. Without a second thought Del Rio begins to stomp away at the Miz until he manages to palm off a few strikes and just enough to find his way into the corner of the ring and with the help of the ropes get to his feet. As he turns around Del Rio is getting closer as he runs towards the Miz and just as it looks as a clothesline is about to be hit the Miz grabs the referee and pulls him in front of himself protecting him from Del Rio. Del Rio just about managing to stop pushes himself away from the referee who tries to fight the hold from Miz at the same time as Del Rio is reaching around trying to get a hold of the Miz himself. The Miz then pushes the referee into Del Rio who side steps the poor official as he watches him crash to the mat. As Del Rio’s attention is focussed on the downed referee who is now getting to his feet he receives an unethical low blow at the hands on his opponent and immediately falls to the mat where the Miz follows up with a cover.

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
Now come on that’s not how this match is suppose to go! He should be disqualified! Del Rio should have successfully retained the title right here and now!

Jim Ross
With such a great match on show for us already what a real shame for the Miz to stoop that low to actually cheat in trying to gain a victory here tonight. Well I hope Del Rio kicks out and gives the Miz what he has coming to him.

As the ref turns around noticing that Del Rio is being covered he hits the mat and begins his count. Just as the ref begins to count and his attention on the shoulders of Del Rio the Miz then places his feet on the second rope giving him extra leverage making it even harder for Del Rio to kick out.

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
Now come on, not like this!

Michael Cole
Ladies and gentleman you are watching a genius in work! I hope you appreciate this.

Jim Ross
Not only has the Miz just given Del Rio a low blow but now he has his feet on the ropes and you call this man a genius? Well I call this man a cheat. It will be a real shame on behalf of the entire company if this is the way Del Rio loses his title.

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
Not only did Del Rio work hard for that title he’s put everything on the line tonight to defend it! I can’t bear to watch!

The referee’s hand comes down as the audience look through their hands and fans turn away as their champion lies lifeless on the mat.

That’s it! My god it’s finally happened! We have a new champion everybody! The Miz is your new world heavyweight champion!

Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler
I can’t believe my eyes.

Jim Ross
It shouldn’t happen like this, it’s not fair on Del Rio or the fans.

Michael Cole
Are you guys kidding me! This is great! The Miz used his head! He was smarter than Del Rio and took advantage of his situations and now look who the champion is. That’s right! That man right there in the ring!

Lillian Garcia
And your winner of this match by pinfall, and NEW world heavyweight champion! THE MIZZZZ1

The Miz rolls Del Rio out of the ring and watches his numb body crash to the outside along with his hopes of a world heavyweight title reign as the Miz takes it away just one day after taking it from Christian. The Miz urging the time keeper to pass him his new championship and as he receives it in the middle of the ring he drops to his knee’s staring at his new possession before looking out into the audience almost in shock that he’s just become the new world heavyweight champion.



It doesn’t take long for the reality to kick in and within seconds the Miz bounces up to his feet holding the title in the air and pointing at it as he rushes around the ring hitting the ropes and slapping the title and just letting out all emotion to how much this means to him. Just as the referee looks to leave the ring the Miz stops him and asks for his arm to be raised. Complying the referee raises the Miz’s arms and is immediately hit with a flurry of boos and hisses obviously from the way in which he won the title was not a big hitter with the fans here tonight.



The Miz snaps his arm away from the referee who now exits the ring and looking oblivious to the hate he’s receiving the Miz is still ecstatic that he is now the new world heavyweight champion. As some fans can even be seen leaving the arena early none of this seems to have an impact on the Miz as he jumps onto the second rope and raises his title in the air as proud as he will ever be as the show comes to an end and Breakdown fades out.
