In the early running’s of this week’s breakdown we hear the announcement of a returning superstar to soon be making his way back onto the roster in the company so interviewer Mitch is sent backstage to the parking lot to where he is rumoured to be waiting. The crowd waits in anticipation to who this superstar is as the cameraman follows Mitch as the darkened corridors soon lighten up but nobody is to be seen.

Mitch
I’m sorry ladies and gentlemen, we seem to of *cough* errm, lost our guy.

As mumbles of confusion and disappointment murmur throughout the arena a figure quickly fires past on a bicycle but a little too quick to catch who the individual was.

Mitch
Sir! We’re here, your interview is this way come back!



Mitch can be heard mumble under his breath quite obviously less than impressed with the acts of the returning superstar.

Mitch
Where is he going and where the hell did he get that bike.

Superstar
Help help!! I can’t stop!



Superstar
Where are the brakes! Help me! STOP!!!



As the superstar’s face is shown clearly it is evident that the returning superstar is none other than Santino Marrela. He receives a welcoming pop from the audience who erupt in laughter at his inability to stop the bike he’s riding.

Mitch
Give me a break.

Santino Marrela

Mitch
Come on Santino we don’t have all night, come back here so we can get this interview done.

Santino eventually slows down and heads back towards Mitch before skidding to a stop with an extremely proud expression on his face.

Santino Marrela
Did you see that? That was a Santino skiddie, it’s what the professional bike racers do to stop. I taught them all.




Santino Marrela
So then, you say you want to interview Santino yes? Well Santino is right here so go ahead my friend.

Mitch
Ok, at least your here now, well this interview of course is about your return to XWL. But just before we do get onto that can I just ask out of personal interest where did you get that bike and why was you riding it around the parking lot?

Santino Marrela
Arrr, good opening question. Well you see, Santino was stood here waiting for you and your crew to come and interview Santino but I got a little bored, and as you can see this bike has lots and lots of gold on it. I think you say bling yes? This bike was bling and it caught Santino’s eye and Santino can ride a bike with training wheels but I couldn’t find any so I thought I will teach myself to ride a bike before my interview. And that is just what I did.

Mitch
Ok interesting, so yeah, moving on, your return to XWL. Can I get your thoughts and reasoning behind this decision?



Santino Marrela
Well you see, Santino has been out of action for quite a while now but he still watches XWL every week and last week he happened to see somebody and something that got him thinking. You see, a man named Stone Cold Steve Austin seems to be walking around like he owns this place. But not only that, Santino loves everybody and everybody is Santino’s friend but when he claims to be a rattlesnake that’s what ticks Santino off. You see there is only room for one snake in XWL and that’s Santino’s cobra!

Santino reaches into his pocket to find his cobra put pulls out nothing but thin air.

Santino Marrela
My god! Kenny where are you! Have you seen Kenny?

Mitch
I’m sorry you’ve lost me here. Who’s Kenny?

Santino Marrela
Don’t act like you don’t know. Kenny the cobra of course! Now where has that little guy slithered off to now I wonder.



Santino Marrela
That’s right! He is sleeping in Santino’s ring attire getting plenty of rest for next week. Yes next week, that’s when Santino makes his returning debut.

Mitch
Are you excited for your returning match then Santino? And do you not think you may have a little ring rust from being on the side line for so long?

Santino Marrela
Ring rust? What type of move is that? I don’t think Santino knows how to ring rust so I’m sorry friend Santino can’t ring rust next week. But I will tell what he can do. Santino can wrestle better than ever because he’s in the best shape of his life. This time out has made him a better man and a better wrestler. And whoever he faces next week will find out when Kenny and I knock him down to the mat and get the three count we need.

Mitch
Ring rust isn’t a move Santino. It’s an expression of making little mistakes you may not normally make because you’ve not wrestled in so long. But you do seem confident about your match, do you feel you could win no matter who it is?



Santino Marrela
Now come on, do I look like somebody who could lose? Wrong. Of course I can lose, because I knew you’re answer was going to be no. But of course Santino can lose but he’s going to make sure that he doesn’t. So whether he faces Christian the world champion, John Morrison the intercontinental champion or even Cody Rhodes, Santino and Kenny will win. You see, Santino is like a batman and Kenny is like a Robin. When Santino is in trouble and needs his good friend to come and help him, Kenny comes out and strikes my opponent in the throat for me. That is how we get the job done. And this ring rust you speak of. I have never heard of it but you heard me say before that I am in a lot better shape than before and I am a lot sharper. So all I can say is I wish a lot of good luck to my opponent next week. Now, I’m sorry sir but I do have to take this bike to where I found it because Santino is not a thief. Good day.

As the segment fades out Santino is seen pushing the bike up the corridor with his chest puffed out and his head cocked back as we roll on to the next segment.

[Josh Mathews] Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time. The man who goes one on one with Chris Jericho at The Monster Bash; Daniel Bryan!

*Daniel walks onto the camera as the fans can be heard cheering.*



[Josh Mathews] Daniel, tonight you have a match against Colt Cabana but you've got to have Chris Jericho on your mind after your confrontation last week. How are you feeling a week later? Many people are calling The Monster Bash a make or break opportunity for you..



[Daniel Bryan] That's.. that's actually pretty accurate Josh. You're right, it is a make or break opportunity for me. If I don't beat Chris Jericho and back up my strong words last week then I'm not just letting myself down, I'm letting each and every fan who believes in me and who have supported me for all of these years. That's why losing is simply not an option. I know that Chris Jericho is one of the best wrestlers in XWL, and looking at his records many would call him the very best. That's what is going to make my match at The Monster Bash even more satisfying when I beat him. Chris always has his permanent aura of cockiness no matter where he is and I can't wait to see him after The Monster Bash, that whole image that he's created for himself is going to be completely shattered.



[Daniel Bryan] A match against Colt Cabana is always something I like forward to, Josh. Colt is one of my best friends in this business and has been for a long time but tonight's not any ordinary night. As I said last week Chris Jericho lit a fire under my ass, he wants to try walk all over me and say my 15 minutes of fame are nearly up? Tonight I'm going to send a message to Chris Jericho through one of my very own friends to show him how serious I am about this match. Now I know what he's going to think, he's probably going to go around telling everybody that he's got in my head. He thinks he's some genius who can manipulate people like that, but all he has done is make things even worse for himself. For years now, I've been busting my ass trying to get a main spot in XWL. This is my one and probably only opportunity to cement my name. A win over a guy like Chris Jericho would mean everything to me.



[Daniel Bryan] Last week I was told by Chris Jericho that I need to stop living in the past, that I need to stop telling everyone my story. So let's do him a favour and talk about the present, right now you are looking into the eyes of a motivated man. You are looking at a man who has everything on the line. Now let's switch things up, instead of talking about the past or the present, how about the future huh? Okay, The Monster Bash.. October 20th 2013! It's nearing the end of a long match, Chris Jericho is tired, he's bruised, he's beaten! Daniel Bryan is on a roll, the roll of his career. Chris Jericho can't handle Daniel Bryan and all of his offense.. Oh, what's going to happen in the future? Daniel Bryan with the LeBell Lock.. or the Cattle Mutilation.. or the Guillotine.. Or any other submission under the sun! Chris Jericho has nowhere to go and he is forced to tap out.



[Daniel Bryan] That's what I'm living for. I am in tunnel vision and I'm gunning for The Monster Bash, once I lock you in a submission I'm not letting go. No matter how far you try to crawl to the ropes, I'll move back. No matter how much you claw at my fingers to try and pry my hands away, I'm not letting go. The Monster Bash is going to be summarized for Chris Jericho in three simple words. Tap or Snap. Once I get you in a submission there's not a hope in hell that I'm letting go. I've worked too damn hard for too damn long to let go. You've got two options, tap and show the whole world that I'm better than you, show the world that you really don't have what it takes and you bit off more than you could chew. Or the second option which is perfectly fine too, hold on to your pride, don't tap! But then you'll be leaving the arena with a broken arm maybe? Dislocated shoulder? Could be anything! The choice is yours Chris, tap.. or snap..



*Daniel stares into the camera with cold eyes looking as motivated as ever for his match against Chris Jericho at The Monster Bash. We fade away from this interview to a video package.*

With the show continuing on, we fade backstage where an excited Layla is shown in full view of the camera, and she doesn't appear to be alone, though we can't tell who she's with just yet.




{Layla}
I'm so glad I caught up with you! Congratulations girl, you totally deserve it. I knew you had nothing to worry about, time to rep it in the chamber with your girl L! Woo!!

The camera pans over revealing Torrie Wilson, who was revealed to be in the huge Elimination Chamber in just three weeks at The Monster Bash. Layla's giddy tone has Torrie smiling in response and she appears just as excited as she is.



Torrie Wilson
Oh my god! I know! How exciting is this? You know I genuinely did not expect to be back in it once I saw Eve announced as the second contender. I mean, it's not really my fault but I have been quiet recently and that gave the guys in charge every reason to replace me. But I guess I have the chance tonight to end all critics when I plant Nikki's face down into the mat for a three count later tonight.


{Layla}
Trust me, I know I may have let her get the best of me in the Queen of the Ring finals, but you've got this. I mean you've already got victories over the Divas Champion, your time is coming and people better get you on their radar soon or you'll just stomp the competition. But your time might have to come after mine....

Layla playfully laughs, somewhat serious, but mostly joking around with her friend.

{Layla}
Either way, this Elimination Chamber match is shaping up to be exactly what it is, history. I might not be fond of Brie....or Eve, especially after her sore loser of an attack last week, I mean really, you lost sweet heart, do better next time, don't attack me just because I got the better of you, you know?

Torrie Wilson
That's the problem with most people around here, they lack respect. I mean you're never going to make it in this company if you don't respect one another. You need to be able to get up after a hard fought battle and shake hands with you're opponent and say well done regardless of the outcome. Just like we will be after the elimination chamber. I just hope that it's my hand raised after it all.

Torrie shoots Layla a wink showing that she is just playing around with her and they both start to laugh.

Torrie Wilson
But on a serious note it is a shame half of the locker room aren't like us two you know. But I'm also fine with that and if Nikki doesn't have the guts to congratulate me when I beat her tonight then I'm totally fine with kicking her square in the face instead. I mean, the nerve of that woman. I don't think she understands that there is the possibility of all six contenders being in the ring at the same time at Monster Bash and if she keeps walking around like she's the queen B she'l soon find herself in a five on one attack. Am I right?

{Layla}
Not that she doesn't deserve it, because I mean her sister won the damn tournament, not her....but I don't really agree personally. Two wrongs don't make a right, that's a statement that's rung true to me since I had my epiphany and I'm trying to look at both sides of the equation, yes Brie and Eve are FAR too arrogant for their own good...but no one deserves to be ganged up on, that's just stooping to their level, and we're way better than that. I would be lying though if I said I wasn't a little nervous about those two unknown spots, I mean they could go to anybody. By the end of the night we could end up being the minority of this match, and it could be filled with self centered, over opportunistic, and underhanded people, that's a recipe for disaster for sure.

Torrie Wilson
I know, me and you both. What's scary is how many manipulative diva's actually lurk this company and who knows what would happen when put into such an environment like the elimination chamber. I mean some may be right at home and could cause unthinkable pain to either one of us. I mean I don't even want to think of what my body is going to go through that night. I mean, the only thing keeping me going right now is the thought that in just a few weeks I could be named the diva's number one contender. Something I have never been able to call myself. Now I know you've been there and done that so you're hungry to get your hands back on that title, so I want you to know that if I don't win that match I honestly,with all my heart Layla, pray that it goes to somebody as deserving as you. But with what you said about Nikki couldn't be any more true. She's living in her sisters shadow and she's too blind to see it. Maybe I can open her eyes tonight though right?


{Layla}
You've got that right, girlfriend! I don't wanna say she doesn't stand a chance, because you should never underestimate anyone...I mean I'm a clear example of that, hello do I look like someone that's done as much as I have? Anyone is capable of having that one breakout performance, and I think that if The Monster Bash isn't my night, it'll for sure be the night that you finally reach the top. You've had such a long career, overcome so much, and I know it'd mean the world to you to finally hold that title in your hands, and know it's yours.

Torrie Wilson
Thanks so much Layla! Means a lot to me honestly. But  hey I know not to underestimate anyone as I learnt first hand when both the bella's teamed up on me and beat me down. It just shows that allies going into this chamber could also be a danger we have to look out for. Anyway I can't hang around much longer I've got to get ready for my match I'm up soon. Good luck against Maria. I know you'll smash it! Catch you later girl!

Torrie embraces Layla before waving goodbye as she happily walks down the corridor and into her changing room to prepare for her match against Nikki Bella later on in the night.

You saw what I did to Matt Striker before right Josh?

Yeah.. Yeah, I did.

{{The Ryback}}
So let me make this clear to you. If you ask a question that I don't like, make a face I'm not fond of, or hell, even if your body language says something that I don't agree with.. Then the same will happen to you.. I'm bigger, stronger, and more powerful than you and most of the people in the locker room Josh, sooner or later you all will realize that I can do what I want, when I want, to who I want, simply because no one can stop me. Randy Orton couldn't stop me. Brock Lesnar couldn't stop me. The Intercontinental Champion John Morrison couldn't even stop me. I'm the biggest and baddest predator in this jungle Josh, and unless you want to turn out like Matt Striker, unless you want to become broken like The Brian Kendrick, unless you want to wake up in a hospital bed like The Hurricane, unless you want to have the same fate as Carlito, then you'll listen to me, and you'll do as I say. Got it?

Josh opens his mouth to speak but has to first swallow the lump in his throat that grew from the fear of what could happen to him in the near future at the hands of this Human Wrecking Ball if he makes one move that the monster doesn't like.

I didn't come here to watch you piss yourself and stutter you little puke.

Shut up. If you won't do your job and ask questions, then you know what, I'll do it for you.

I said, I'll do it for you. I'll interview you, since clearly you're worse at your job than Matt Striker was.

You're going to interview me?

{{The Ryback}}
Yeah. That's right. And here's your first question.. Josh Matthews, which one of these tables do you want me to put your incompetent puny body through?

But before Josh can finish speaking The Ryback picks him up and slams him through the nearest table.

The Ryback then turns his attention to the camera.

{{The Ryback}}
Eric Young. You saw that? You see what I can do to little pukes like you. You see what I'm capable of?.. What I did to the Hurricane last week, that was nothing. When I get my hands around your tiny neck I'm going to make you wish that you never watched all those cartoons and read all those comics, I'm going to make you wish that you never knew what a hero was. Because you're not a hero, no, you're an example. You're my prey. An-






~SMACK!~

The sound is vivid as Ryback crashes forward, causing the camera to back up. Ryback lays on the ground now, hands scratching for his back as he lays, in pain. Above him, with a steel chair in hand, stands Eric Young, a look of pure hatred on his face. Young raises the chair above his head and slams it down on the back of Ryback. Then again, and again as Ryback shouts out in pain each time. Young then throws the now bent chair onto Ryback as Ryback lays, no longer moving. Young begins to shout at him.

{{Eric Young}}
How's that, you bully!? This isn't so fun being on the same side of those who you've decided to powerhouse yourself over, is it? I am sick, and tired, of people like you, who can't get it in their heads that size, and what people say you can do, isn't everything. How about you get that through your head as you lay at my feet, big shot. I'm not scared of you. Hell, I'm not scared of anything! Got it, Ryback!? DO YOU!?

Young then picks the chair up, slamming it down yet again on Ryback, losing his cool as he backs up, breathing heavy. A few of the backstage crew come into frame, sent to help Mathews out of the fray, as well as The Ryback now. Young just stands there, staring down at the monster, unable to find anymore words.

Well it looks like the bully got a taste of his own medicine!

The camera shows the face of the two backstage crew sent to stop Eric Young. The faces of the two men who The Ryback bullied last week are shown looking down at The Human Wrecking Ball with hatred in their eyes.

{{JR}}
Look King! It's the two workers that were saved by The Hurricane! He risked his career for those two men, and paid dearly for it, what a true hero.

The crowd cheers as EY hands the chair over to one of the workers with a black eye from last week. The worker looks at the chair, then at The Ryback, then back down at the chair before smacking the monster across the back! He then hands the chair to the other worker who does the same as the crowd continues to cheer. The three men continue their revengeful onslaught on the bully as the crowd eats it up, clearly loving the beating. The Ryback lays motionless as he is continuously hit over and over but it seems that neither the workers, EY, or the crowd seem to care about the bullies well-being.

If this doesn't stop then The Ryback's going to end up just like The Brian Kendrick, The Hurricane, Primo, Epico, Carlito, and the other men that he bullied into the hospital!!

All of a sudden the crowd erupts with boos as Corey Graves and Sangriento come out of no where, taking out Eric Young from behind with swift elbows to the back of the head and neck!! The two workers quickly run off before Graves can get his hands on them. Don West walks into the camera's view, looking worried. Graves and Sangriento continue to stomp on Eric Young as West tries to help The Ryback back to his feet without much success.

Well it looks like the odds changed back into The Ryback's favor, but was it too late?

After a few more moments The Ryback begins to stir. West calls Graves and Sangriento to his side to help the armies powerhouse. The Ryback slowly puts one arm around Don and the other around Sangriento as he is hoisted to his feet. Graves looks down at Eric Young, who is still stirring, clearly not even feeling a quarter of the pain that The Ryback is. Corey goes to continue stomping on the downed hero but West calls him off, saying that they have "More important, more amazing, business to take care of then EY". Graves kneels close to Young and whispers "Stay Down", before the West Side Army makes their way off camera and we go to a commercial break.

When the cameras start rolling they show Breakdown GM Hulk Hogan and his assistant Vickie Guerrero stood in Hogan's office discussing the upcoming show as a look of deep concern is washed over Hogan's face



Hulk Hogan: We've got a heck of a show lined up this week Vickie, just look at that main event, Motor City Machine Guns vs. Edge and Ted DiBiase, that's going to be explosive.

Vickie Guerrero: Just look at the entire show, it should b a great show through out.

Hulk Hogan: I just don't know if it's enough, Vickie, with the new owners coming in, you never know what's going to happen, we need to make sure that we show our worth.

Vickie Guerrero: Actually about that, I have an idea...

Before Vickie can reveal her idea, in walks John Laurinaitis clearly looking happier than usual as he walks up to the pair and stands in front of them



John Laurinaitis: Ahh, just the two I was looking for, Vickie, Hulk, I've got a feeling tonight is going to be yet another historic night in XWL history. How have you been?

Hulk Hogan: I don't know what you're looking so happy about Johnny, didn't you hear last week? We have a new boss, that means all of our necks are on the line, and I mean everybody, me, Vickie, the camera guys, the merch sellers, all of the Superstars and Diva's, even you could be out of a job, brother. How can you stand there looking so happy? We don't even know who this guy is.

John Laurinaitis: Well thank you for looking out for my well being, but luckily for me, I have already met with the new owners of XWL and I must say they were more than impressed by my business credentials, which is why they offered me a position as a representative to the Board of Directors to evaluate every bodies performance here on Breakdown in the coming weeks and rid this company of all of it's dead wood as I see fit. That means every bodies job is indeed on the line, and that does include you job as General Manager of Breakdown, so I suggest that you do your best and make the next few weeks memorable or they might be your last.

Taken a back by the bomb shell dropped by Johnny, Hogan responds still in shock

Hulk Hogan: Whoa, hold on there Johnny.

John Laurinaitis: Actually that's Mr. Laurinaitis to you.



Vickie Guerrero: Of course it is Mr. Laurin...

Because Vickie can say another word Hulk Hogan quickly interrupts her, not even acknowledging that she was mid sentence as he passionately pleads his case

Hulk Hogan: Mr. Laurinaitis, Johnny Ace, whatever you want to be called dude, you need to take a look around, I've busted my rear end and make XWL thrive, brother, so look at what I've turned this place into and you'll see the improvements that I've made around here.

John Laurinaitis: I'll be the judge of that.

Trying to get her thoughts it Vickie starts to address the Liaison to the Board of the Directors

Vickie Guerrero: Actually Mr. Laurin...

Once again Hulk Hogan jumps in over what Vickie was about to say still trying to best to avoid the possibility of a performance review

Hulk Hogan: And just think about all of the Hulk-a-maniacs out there, dude, they're off their seats, excited for Breakdown every week!



John Laurinaitis: You don't need to tell me about excitement, I am Mr. Excitement and I know what the XWL fans truly want, I am the living embodiment of People Power, I give the people what they want. The people on the board of directors, that is.

Hulk Hogan: I know you've always had it out for me Johnny but you know that I've done a great job as General Manager, and Vickie has been a heck of an assistant, and you know that we deserve to keep our jobs.

John Laurinaitis stands there grinning still like a Cheshire cat clearly still over the moon at his job safety knowing that he holds Hulk Hogan's fate in his hands

John Laurinaitis: Well Mr. Hogan, I'll be the judge of that in the coming weeks. I'll be watching.

Johnny turns to exit before stopping himself and turning around to say one final thing to the dumb struck pair

John Laurinaitis: Oh and I just wanted the very best of luck... because believe me, you're going to need it.

Upon finishing speaking Johnny turns and exits the room as Hogan and Vickie stand their in shock as to learning their fate lays in Laurinaitis' handed as the cameras slowly fade out ending the segment

As Breakdown returns from a commercial break,  Ziggler seemingly has Sangriento right where he wants him, furiously dropping elbow after elbow on the masked marvel until he finally leaps high into the air then falls back on the ground driving the point of his elbow straight into Sangriento’s heart.

Sangriento’s right arm shoots into the air breaking the pin right before the count of three. Frustrated, Ziggler slaps the mat before rising to his feet. As Sangriento, stands, Ziggler pounces, kneeing and whacking him on the back, the momentum of the blows causing him to stagger into the corner. Dolph backs up, runs his hands through his hair, flicks the sweat into the air then he charges forward and after a big leap into the air he misses the stinger splash as Sangreinto gets out of harm’s way. On the outside of the ring, West is barking orders, and he’s beyond pleased when Sangriento bounces off the ropes giving himself a ton of momentum, then twirls all around Dolph’s upper-body before finally planting him with the satellite DDT!

Instead of going for the cover, Sangriento, quickly dashes over to the corner, waiting for Dolph to raise to his feet then he takes a leap and nails Dolph with a front dropkick! Sangriento kips right up to his feet as Dolph rolls back onto his and the masked man takes a running starts and looks to decapitate Dolph with a clothesline, but the Show Off ducks under and when Sangriento turns around Dolph damn near shatters his jaw with a superkick! Dolph crawls onto Sangriento hoping that enough to end the match:

Another kick out and the look of disbelief on Dolph’s face says it all. Not allowing Sangriento a chance to recover, Dolph quickly applies a side headlock and jerks his body around, applying wave after wave of intense pressure, but whether it’s his own will to survive pushing him ahead or the sound of West yelling from the outside, Sangriento fights his way to his feet and simply stomps on Dolph’s foot to force him to break the hold.

Sangriento quickly takes Ziggler by the arm, pushes him back into the ropes, then irish whips him to the other side of the ring. Dolph comes running back and Sangriento hops onto his shoulders looking to hit a hurricanrana, but Dolph’s able to block it, and he flips Sangriento backwards off his shoulder and the masked man is able to land on his feet. Before Dolph can capitalize on his reversal, Sangriento quickly goes for a spinning round house kick but misses as Dolph manages to duck under in the nick of time. Unfortunately for the Show Off, Sangriento does another spin and nails Dolph on the side of the head with the second attempt:

Dolph is just able to kick out and West can be heard screaming at The Ref to speed up his count. The two opponents stand to their feet at the same time, when Ziggler suddenly explodes with energy, leaping into the air and hitting the fameasser out of nowhere! Ziggler gets to his feet and he’s all fired up now as he signals for the end.

Suddenly, West gets onto the apron and stars yelling insulting remarks in Dolph’s direction successfully getting the ex-champ’s attention. Ziggler runs over to knock West off the apron, but West wisely hops off before Dolph’s within arm’s reach. Ziggler shouts at the promoter to stay out of his business and turns around to see Sangriento charging at him! Dolph tries to hit a preemptive clothesline, but Sangriento ducks under and races to the other side of the ring where he springboards off the middle rope and catches the unsuspecting Dolph with a cutter!

Sangriento quickly rolls out of the ring and heads up the ramp with Don West not too far behind as the crowd boos them every step of the way. Looking mighty proud of his newest client, West takes Sangriento’s arm and raises it proudly into the air.

The XWL ring has been completely transformed for what looks to be a special occasion happening at any moment live in front of this sold-out crowd jam-packed into the legendary sporting venue: Madison Square Garden. The mat, once completely white on an ordinary day, a blank canvas for the XWL men and women to tell any stories they please, is covered in a red fabric giving it a degree of fanciness.  

Red streamers have been wrapped around the ropes and even the outside of the ring is looking a little different if only because there are several large red roses surrounding it simply scattering all over the ring side area. In the center of the ring, facing the hard camera, is a rather large object covered by a black cloth that further thickens the air of mystery as it would take one hell of a guess to figure out what this elaborate set-up is for.

After a couple of seconds of nothing but the buzzing of the fans serving as a background track for this ambiguous affair, the lights dim and some somber, heart-wrenching music begins to play in the background. The music itself is barely audible, but it’s just enough to grab someone’s attention, a job it does to perfection because the buzzing that once filled the large room is nearly non-existent, as the people now sit at attention waiting in anticipation for the next shoe to fall.

Soon three figures appear on the stage, immediately recognizable as the current members of The West Side Army: Corey Graves, Ryback and Sangriento and all dressed appropriately for what seems to be a formal occasion in their ring gear… although their mouthpiece, their manager and their promoter, who all just so happen to be one person: the inimitable Don West is nowhere to be seen. His absence doesn’t last long because as the three men start walking down the ramp, West is next to appear on the stage with a microphone in his hand and surprisingly he doesn’t waste a second starting to speak.



Don West
Ladies and Gentleman, thank you all for joining me here tonight for a moment that will no doubt live on in history as one of the saddest events XWL has ever experienced. I say that because tonight… tonight we say goodbye. I wish it wasn’t so, I wish deep down in my heart of hearts that there was something more I could do, but the brass made it their mission to cripple me, to make The West Side Army look weak and though we put up the best damn fight that we could… those smug bastards were able to get in one lucky shot… and life for the West Side Army, life for XWL and life for any wrestling fan in the world, period, will be a little less… amazing.



West has made it down to the ring-side area, while the other three men have already entered the ring and now stand there patiently waiting. Before walking up the steal stairs, West grabs a rose, placing it right up against his nose and takes a long sniff, then carries it into the ring with him. While the crowd isn’t exactly giving West a respectful silence, there have been some boos scattered about, they’re not as loud as they usually are because they’re still not quite sure what to make of this.



Don West
Tonight we’re going to have a memorial in the honor of a man who gave everything a human could possibly give to XWL… and then some and the only thing he ever asked for in return… the only thing he ever asked for was to be accommodated accordingly with respect and championships. Was that too much to ask for? Is no man worthy of those two things? It would seem so, because those monkeys that run this company, that selfish-prick Hulk Hogan included, a man who egotistical he just can’t accept that the blinding truth that nobody wants to see him around here. Or that he was always worthless in the ring and it’s only gotten worse over the years to the point where now he can’t even hit his freakin’ leg drop without shattering his hip into a million pieces and he’s been operated on so many times they have a spot reserved for him in the hospital! But tonight isn’t about Hogan, it’s about the man Hogan gleefully screwed out of a job! A man you no longer have the pleasure of watching light up your lives with a breathtaking arsenal of maneuvers never before seen and never to be seen again now that’s he’s gone. A man known as…

West places the rose down at the base of the stand the unknown object is resting on, then he takes one end of the cloth covering the object, takes a deep breath and pulls it off to reveal… a portrait of Amazing Red!



The boos suddenly get louder now that everyone in the arena has caught on and West shakes his head somberly in response.

Don West
If we could please all gather in a moment of silence for one of our fallen brethren, it would be much appreciated.

The fans do the exact opposite of what West asked with the boos growing exponentially in volume. After several seconds with his head held down in a respectful silence, West raises it back up to stare at the sea of disrespectful people, but instead of giving them the satisfaction of acknowledging their blatant rudeness, West raises the microphone back up to his month to continue speaking.



Don West
I know the timing seems a bit off, what with Eye for an Eye being weeks ago but trust me, folks, there’s a method to my madness, because a little birdy told me that XWL would be coming to New York soon and I immediately thought that there would be no better place to hold this heart-wrenching event. Amazing Red once said to me while we were just cruising through the states with the Dontourage that while he may have Puerto Rican blood running through his veins, New York was like a second home to him. The likes of Hogan would love nothing more than for the name Amazing Red to be swept under the rug, but I absolutely refuse to have him be forgotten and with the number of incredible memories he’s given you, I know his real fans won’t forget him either. Now, while it was personally a pleasure working with Red over the months, my life was not the only one that he touched.

West motions to the other three men that make up his stable, but specifically goes to stand between Graves and Ryback.



Don West
Corey and Ryback are stellar athletes in their own rights, Graves doesn’t mince words, he doesn’t hold back, he doesn’t feel bad about hurting his opponents, and in just a few short weeks you’ll see him standing tall as your new Intercontinental Champion. Ryback is a monster, a beast, an animal and everywhere he goes destruction is sure to follow. As far as I’m concerned, Eric Young… well he should be grateful I even bothered saying his name. These two were already hell-bent on taking XWL by storm, but after seeing what happened to their good friend, they’re definitely not pulling any punches or holding anything back. Watching XWL dispose of Amazing Red so remorselessly, without a shred of compassion, made them realize that there’s no time to waste and is they want to taste success then there’s no better time than right now.

West hands the microphone to Graves so he can share his thoughts.

Corey Graves
Since day one it’s been us against the world… and we’ve been winning. As the weeks go on I’ve done nothing more than say that I’m a dangerous man that shouldn’t be messed with and I’ve backed that up every single week. I’ve beaten everybody that this company has thrown in front of me and John Morrison will be no different. I never got my fair shot in Men of Honor because I was surrounded by men who didn’t have the best interest of the group on their mind. But The West Side Army is different, I’ve finally gotten my chance to shine and believe me when I say that I’m only just getting started. Red was screwed, you all know it, he should be standing here with us today, but XWL decided otherwise. XWL decided that The West Side Army was getting too powerful and they went out of their way to weaken us. Little do they know that I’ve had the odds stacked against me my entire life, it felt like everyone made it their life mission to hold me down… but I always found a way to survive. With Amazing Red gone, we’re not going to roll over and die… it’s only going to get worse for XWL from here on out.

When he’s done, Graves hands the microphone over to Ryback who looks as intimidating as ever.

You see I'm no fool. I know that it's 2013, I know that people talk over the internet, so I took me a little look at XWL.com and well.. A bully? Really? You people have the nerve to call me a bully?.. The XWL Management are the ones you should be pointing your fingers at, they are the ones who prey on the weak without even giving them a chance to fight back and present their case. They are the ones who fire future stars because it's "best for business". They are the ones who watch our every move, waiting for us to slip, waiting for a reason to lower our contracts, a reason to implement a new rule, a reason to take our individuality... And you call me the bully? I fight a fair fight every time. Hell, sometimes I even let the numbers go against my favor. When I go into that ring although the West Side Army's always got my back, I go in there man against man, or in my case, machine against man. Although I'm a one man machine. When the XWL Machine takes on a superstar like Amazing Red, well it's one man against a whole company, and no man can defeat those odds no matter how amazing. The West Side Army is the victim here, we are the ones being bullied, and you people. You're just letting it happen. You're not a part of the solution, so you people are just a part of the problem.

Ryback gives the microphone to back to West who takes a moment to let the boos die down before he says a word. Finally, he motions towards the newest addition to the group: Sangriento.



Don West
We may have lost Melina and Amazing Red, but what we got in return more than makes up for that. What we have right here is the closet it gets to a real-life superhero and the way I’ve seen it you’ve been forced to deal with the knockoffs like Hurricane and Super Eric for far too long and you have Ryback to thank for getting rid of them both, single-handedly, in one fell swoop because that’s just the kinda considerate guy he is. With Sangriento on the scene, XWL is in for a treat because this guy does things that are absolutely mind blowing and you should definitely be disappointed and disgusted with yourselves for missing out on his work in Mexico. Even from across the border, Sangriento heard of Red’s exploits and I know he feels sorry that they were never able to meet face to face.

Por lo que he visto de Amazing Red, mientras yo estaba ocupado siendo una leyenda en México, era un hombre que debería haber ganado mucho más de lo que era capaz de hacerlo. No porque él no era bueno, no, él era uno de los mejores que he visto en mi vida, pero había gente por ahí que no quieren que tenga éxito en la empresa. Hubo gente que hizo todo lo posible para detenerlo y finalmente recibieron lo que querían cuando lo echaron de la empresa. Amazing Red será realmente puede perder, y voy a aprender de sus experiencias para asegurarse de que nadie me impide llegar a la cima.

The cameras cut over to the announcer’s table where Michael Cole is on his feet with a microphone in his hand a big smile on his face. The people boo the self-proclaimed voice of XWL, but he’s hardly phased

Don West
It would be an honor, Michael. Please share your thoughts with the people.

Michael Cole
Allow me to say that I was one of THE biggest Amazing Red fan in XWL, second, of course, only to you, Don. Every week I would sit at this announce table and be blown away by just how incredible that young man was and it didn’t take long for me to become a believer. I saw instantly that Amazing wasn’t just some kind of moniker, no it was a way of life for Red, and it brought tears to my eyes to watch him get screwed over at Eye for an Eye. I watched with my own eyes as he was moments away from winning until it was ripped from his hands and now he’s gone, possibly for good. Don, allow me to offer condolences for your loss and the loss of The West Side Amry, on behalf of myself and my colleagues here at the announce table. Amazing Red will now become one of the biggest “What-if” stories in XWL and we never get to see what amazing things, pardon the pun,  that he would have undoubtedly been able to accomplish had he not been screwed over.

Don West
Thank you, Michael. Is there anyone else that wants to take advantage of what can only be described as a once in a lifetime opportunity? Speak now or forever hold your peace.

After a few moments of silence, Don West begins to raise the microphone back up to his mouth before being cut off by the sounds of a gun firing repeatedly filling the air. The live audience in attendance quickly rise up to their feet and begin to cheer loudly as the theme of the Ersatz Tag Team Champions, The Motor City Machine Guns, begins to play throughout the arena.



A few seconds later, The Guns emerge from behind the curtain and stand on the stage with a mic in hand, taking in the crowd’s reaction towards them.

They stand back to back, with Shelley raising his left arm up into the air, while Sabin raises his right up to match his tag team partners, mirroring it. The Guns take aim at the ring and The West Side Army before both “shoot” at their targets in unison, causing a short burst of pyro firing up off the stage on either side of them. Both Guns turn around, almost confused as to why the pyro went off behind them. A few moments of confusion pass before both Guns regain their composure and stand on the stage, looking out to the live audience in attendance that has broken out into a “Motor City!” chant.



A few words are exchanged between Shelley and Sabin, and after a moment of them conversing with one another, a quick game of Rock, Paper, Scissors breaks out between them. After many ties between both men, a winner is declared when Sabin throws his arms into the air in victory. Shelley is shown mumbling something to himself while Sabin raises the microphone up to his mouth to speak.

Since no one, other than Michael Cole, decided to step up to the plate, The Motor City Machine Guns thought we would come out here and get the ball rolling, isn't that right, Alex? I guess I'll be the one to start. I've had some very fond memories of Not So Amazing Red, like when he tried to take my spot in the Elimination Chamber at Eye For An Eye, which he failed to do. It's not like he would have won anyways, but then again, it is “Amazing” Red that we're talking about. If he couldn't get the job done in a triple threat match, then there was no way that he was going to survive in the chamber.

It’s funny because I haven’t had that much interaction with Amazing Red, I guess that’s because despite the preaching of the “great” Don West he wasn’t only not good enough to be a contender for the World Title, but not even the Intercontinental Championship or United States Championship either. The same could also be said for Kenny King, especially since I went out of my way to put him in his place at Eye for an Eye, but looking into that ring, you don’t exactly have affirmative action on your side, do ya’ Don? Maybe that’s something you should consider next time you go around recruiting people to be in your cult that you were humble enough to name after yourself.

It’s great that you’ve gone through all this trouble to force us to remember a guy it didn’t take much effort to forget in the first place, but in the grand scheme of things Amazing Red was here for around five minutes or so and the fact that he wasn’t able to cut it just goes to show that maybe he wasn’t the future star you kept telling us he was. Where he is now, I hope he’s seriously considering a name change, and Not-So Amazing Red seems to be the popular option. Perhaps you could pass the message on when we’re done here. Us guys in the back? We didn’t care when Amazing Red got fired, we don’t really miss you. It’s pretty much the same way we won’t miss any of you guys in the ring, because when The West Side Army falls apart like every other group, it’ll just go to show, that you didn’t get to where you are because you’re any good, but because Don West just wouldn’t shut his trap!

Enraged that these two hooligans would come out here and say these slanderous and blasphemous things, West’s face has turned a bright shade of red in his fury and he starts screaming into his microphone with spit flying everywhere.



Don West
You two… you two idiots should be the absolute last two people in the universe to come out here and say anything! Especially anything about another man’s career or success when you two have been doing not a damn thing but hogging space on this roster for years! You two are the definition of mediocrity for as long as I could remember, and the only reason why you two are still relevant is because you’ve been lucky enough to be the best by default! Sabin you want to talk about not being able to survive the Elimination Chamber? Amazing Red would have put up a hell of a bigger fight than you did. I don’t know when getting your ass kicked from bell to bell became a reasonable gameplan, but buddy, you sure executed it to perfection. And need I remind you how Corey Graves went out there a couple of weeks ago and creamed you in front of your precious fans? You should be counting your lucky stars, and thanking Kenny King for being obsessed with you because now Corey will be ending Morrison’s title reign instead of yours!

The other members of The West Side Army surround their promoter and do what they can to calm him down. The cameras cut back up to the stage to show the Machine’s Guns reaction.

If Alex and myself are the definition of mediocrity, what does that make your “army?” You said it yourself, we're the best by default, so that makes us better than your “army,” doesn't it? That was already common knowledge but to hear it come from your mouth is much more gratifying. If you haven't realized it by now, we're not out here to “mourn” the loss of Not So Amazing Red, no, we're out here because you and I, and by association, The West Side Army, still have some unfinished business Mr. West.

A few weeks back, you did something that I thought no one would do, you sunk to an even lower level than you usually are at, and you were responsible for wasting perfectly good pancakes. I know you weren't the one who committed the deed, but you were the one that called for it to happen. When you mess with one Gun, you mess with the other, so without even doing anything to Alex, you've messed with him too. The Motor City Machine Guns have outlasted any and every team or faction that has stood in front of us, and your “army” will just be another name added to that list. You may have an “army” watching your back, Don, but we got The Guns.

And without guns, the only thing you have to fight your war are sticks and stones and those can’t break our bones. Here’s the thin…



Don West
And just how long did it take you two bozos to come up with that Not So clever line, huh? Every week you two go around acting like children and then cry in each other’s arms when you find out that nobody takes you seriously. You know something? It’s clear to me that you didn’t come out here to show Amazing Red some respect, so I guess we have no choice but to beat it out of you. Play time’s over, kiddies.

With that, Graves and Sangriento quickly exit the ring, and even the injured Ryback, stuck in crutches for the time being after the attack he suffered earlier at the hands of Eric Young, exits the ring and menacingly limps up the ramp. However, The Guns don’t even look worried, and it’s not just because the muscle of the group isn’t 100%. Finally, when the three men get to the middle of the ramp, Shelley finally relents and lets them in on the secret.

You may think we’re just a couple of snot-nosed brats, but we can still do basic math, which means we didn’t plan to fight this battle alone.

 

Don West
And just who would….












There’s a big pop from the crowd when the Intercontinental Champion’s theme blasts through the speakers and the camera specifically zooms in on the face of Corey Graves who doesn’t look too pleased. Morrison steps onto the stage and just like that the numbers game has drawn even and the six men find themselves in a stalemate. They begin drawing closer and closer, taking small, hesitant steps, and the cheers and chants of the crowd intensifies in proportion to the thickening of the tension and heightening of anticipation. Just when it looks like all hell is about to break loose here in Madison Square Garden…













Again the people explode in a passionate round of cheers as it’s now the General Manager of Breakdown, Hulk Hogan making an appearance. Boldly, Hogan walks out onto the stage and stops at the top of the ramp so that he stands between The Guns and Jomo and The West Side Army.

As much as I would love to see Don West get embarrassed because the dude never knows when to shut his pie hole, I can’t sit back and allow all hell to break loose on my show. So here’s what going to happen, brother. In two weeks, on the final show before The Monster’s Bash, the six of you will compete in tag team action! So I suggest you take some time to formulate your game plans and if you all know what’s good for you, you’ll keep your hands to yourselves.

With that said, Hogan turns on his heels and returns backstage leaving the six men, plus Don West, in the arena locked in an intense stare down. The crowd is buzzing at the news of the huge tag team match set to take place in a few weeks’ time and before Breakdown heads to a commercial break, there’s a cut to Don West whose expression says it all.

*The camera cuts to the backstage area where Todd Grisham is shown with a mic in hand.*

Ladies and gentlemen, in a few short moments I will be joined by the World Heavyweight Champion Christian, to get some thoughts ahead of-

*Suddenly Chris Jericho bursts onto the scene and interrupts.  He seems annoyed.*

Who cares about Christian?  He's not a true champion!  I should still be the World Heavyweight Champion right now!  So this is my interview time now Todd.  Ask me some questions!

Um, okay... I guess we could ask you about Daniel Bryan and what you think about what he said earlier tonight?  About how at The Monster Bash you have two choices: Tap or Snap.

*Jericho smirks as he starts to respond.*

Tap or Snap?  Tap or Snap?!?  Real cute Bryan.  Real cute.  You're just proving even further that you're the entertainer I said you are by coming up with a lame catchphrase.  Why don't you go ahead and stick that on a brand new Daniel Bryan shirt to pander to all the masses and line your pockets with the cash made from it as all of the hypocritical tapeworms buy into the fantasy that you're some kind of a submission specialist, and that you're this technical master with untapped potential here in XWL.  You'll need the cash Bryan, because it'll be you who will have something snapped at The Monster Bash.

*The devilish smirk has now faded as Jericho becomes deadly serious.*

I'm giving you your 15 minutes of fame kid.  It's not every day the opportunity comes around to step into the ring with the best in the world.  I'm giving you a chance to make more money in one match than you have in your entire career.  You should be thanking me, not threatening me.  And I don't deserve the disrespect or the slander you're aiming at me so trust me when I say this, that I will make you suffer at The Monster Bash.  There's no place for arrogant little punks like you in this business Bryan, and I'll have the privilege of teaching you how to respect your superiors.

You say that you know 1004 ways to make me tap out?  Well I've been in this business twice as long as you have Bryan, so just imagine how many submission holds I've learnt over the years.  Just think of how many ways I can bend and stretch every single limb in your body.  At The Monster Bash, as you're writhing around in agony and as your muscles strain and pop as they reach their breaking point, I want you to be the one to tap out and admit that I am better than you and that you will never be as good as I am.

And when you finally face reality, when you're down on the mat as a broken, battered mess, looking up at me standing triumphantly over you with my hand raised in victory, I want you and that ridiculous beard of yours to disappear back to the independent scene where you belong.

Renee smiles brightly as Bayley timidly pokes her head into camera shot, pouting as something's obviously upsetting her.

T-The Bella Twins aren't anywhere near, are they? T-They're really mean! They called my bow u-ugly!

Bayley suddenly flops butt-first to the floor, sniffling as tears begin to roll down her cheeks. Bayley lets out a wail as she rests her head in her hands. Renee sighs before sitting down on the floor next to her, putting a comforting shoulder around Bayley's arm as she continues to talk into the microphone.

[Renee Young]
Aw, come here, Bayley! It's okay. I think your bow is really, really pretty!

Bayley's head suddenly shoots up, showing a huge smile on her face as she tightly wraps her arms around Renee's neck.

[Bayley]
OHMYGOSH Renee! Is it really!? THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHA-

[Renee Young]
Uh, Bayley...air!

Bayley suddenly jerks her arms off the interviewer, gasping in shock.

[Bayley]
Oh gosh, I-I'm really sorry, Renee! I didn't mean it, it's just you called my bow pretty and it made me all happy, and...

[Renee Young]
Bayley, relax. It's alright! Come on, give Renee a squeeze...just not as tight this time, alright?

[Bayley]
Uh, okay...

Bayley smiles at Renee before gently wrapping her arms around Renee's neck once more, Renee wrapping an arm around her waist in return as Bayley stands up, helping Renee up to her own feet.

[Bayley]
Thanks for being so nice, Renee! See you later!

Bayley happily walks away from the set as Renee smiles in her direction as XWL Breakdown moves onto its next segment..

*Jericho runs to the ropes and springs off them in one beautiful motion hitting a picture-perfect Lionsault.*

What a Lionsault!  This one could be over right here!

*Jericho however, doesn't go for the cover.  Instead, he rises to his feet, looks down at Reigns on the mat and a sinister smirk comes over his face.  Jericho looks around at the audience before raising both his arms.*

*Jericho lowers his arms and raises them again.*

I think it's pretty obvious King that he's mocking Daniel Bryan.  If you ask me, he's wasting precious time when he should be capitalizing on this momentum he's built up over Reigns.  Reigns is no pushover.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]

*Jericho has now turned Reigns over onto his front, hooked his arm under his and applied a crossface variation, imitating the signature submission hold of Bryan, the Yes Lock!*

[Michael Cole]
The Yes Lock!  Jericho has it locked in!

[Jim Ross]
I haven't seen Chris Jericho become this distracted or hell bent on insulting an opponent in a long time.  At this point, we'd have normally seen a Codebreaker or a Walls Of Jericho and that would be all she wrote!  Reigns would be done by now!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Well, it means one of two things.  Either Chris Jericho is trying to get into Daniel Bryan's head, or Daniel Bryan is inside Chris Jericho's head...

*Reigns roars in agony as Jericho wrenches away, all while screaming "ASK HIM!" over and over.  The official questions Reigns who refuses to quit and instead uses his power to slowly edge towards the ropes.*

[Jim Ross]
This one's about to be over folks!  

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Reigns has to tap!

*Reigns appears to be fading despite being very close to the ropes.  He stops moving as Jericho appears almost maniacal as he continues to apply the pressure.  It seems like the official is about to end the match-up when suddenly with one final burst of strength, Reigns lunges forward and grabs a hold of the ropes!*

[Jim Ross]
BAH GAWD!  Reigns reached the ropes!  Reigns reached the ropes!

*The official asks Jericho to break the hold, but Jericho is like something possessed and continues to apply the pressure as Reigns screams out in pain.  The official has no option but to start the count...*

It's a clean cut disqualification whichever way you look at it.  Jericho's need to send a message to Daniel Bryan cost him here tonight.

*Jericho continues to keep the hold locked in despite the refs best attempts to try and break it.  Reigns has passed out at this point.*

[Justin Roberts]
Ladies and gentlemen the referee has called a stop to this bout as a result of a disqualification.  Therefore the winner of this match... ROMAN REIGNS!



*Jericho becomes wide-eyed as Reigns' music hits.  He finally releases the hold and infuriated, he stands and gets right into the referee's face, backing him into a corner while unleashing his rage.*

[Jim Ross]
It's a shame such a great match had to end this way, but on the positive side of things, the match between Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan at The Monster Bash will be interesting to say the least.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
You can say that again JR.

*Jericho, realizing his protests are getting him nowhere, decides to turn back and look to inflict more punishment on Reigns, but he has rolled out of the ring and is half-way up the entrance ramp with one arm held high in victory, his battle wounds showing as he looks hurt.*

GET BACK HERE!  GET BACK HERE!

*Jericho leans into the ropes and wails at Reigns as the screen fades away to a commercial break...*

XWL Breakdown cuts Backstage, to see Shawn Michaels standing by.


[Interviewer]
Shawn, Last week we heard from Triple H the reason why he attacked you two weeks ago, when it looked like Degeneration X was about to reform. Now you've had time to come to terms with everything...What's on your mind?


[Shawn Michaels]
You know, Me and Hunter have been friends for a long time, not just friends...best friends. We went on the road together, we flew together...We went through everything together. We've had our differences at times in the past, but our friendship was always stronger and by the end of all our battles...the friendship still lived on. Me and Hunter did indeed make a promise to each other, that when that time comes to head home...We'd make it known. Last week Hunter said that time has come for me, and I have to wonder if he's right. I've always trusted Hunter in the past, Trust me he's a man that's rarely wrong about this business.. but this... he is wrong about. I'm not ready to give this all up, I'm not ready to stop being the Showstopper. Triple H is a deadly man, I've been there for some of the brutal things he has done, and I've felt some of them first hand..but there's one thing Shawn Michaels has never done and that is lay down without a fight.

If Hunter wants a fight then he's going to get a fight. This business means everything to me, It's been my life for 29 years.... So if I have to fight my best friend to keep it all, then so be it. I've said, There's a reason why I've been called the Showstopper, The Main Event, The Icon. and that reason is still as valid as it ever was. I might not be the same man I used to be many years ago, but I'm still Shawn Michaels. I still have what it takes to be in this business and to be at the top of this business. Triple H thinks I don't, But what I've done best my entire life is prove people wrong. At The Monsters Bash, I will indeed face Triple H in an unsanctioned match. I know what you're thinking, it means Triple H an do whatever he wants to do to me. He can hit me in the back with a Sledgehammer again, he drive me through a car window again...But the one thing people are forgetting after all that I still came fighting back. But unsanctioned doesn't just mean Triple H can do whatever he want, it means I can do whatever I want. I can use chairs, I can use ladders... I can do whatever I have to do to prove that I still got what it takes.

I'm not going to lie, facing Triple H was the last thing I thought I'd have to do when I came back to XWL. Triple H got me through the worst times of my career, He stood by me through everything. There is no doubt that Triple H is the reason I became who I am today, that's why it will hurt my so much more when I have to kick his teeth down his throat at The Monsters Bash.

Kazarian walks out onto the stage as he receives a mixed reaction from the audience. He makes his way down the ramp.

[Justin Roberts]
"This next bout is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Anaheim, California... KAZARIAN!"

In the ring now, Kazarian waits the arrival of his debuting opponent. His theme song comes to an end as Justin Roberts begins to speak.

[Justin Roberts]
"...and his opponent, making his XWL debut here tonight in Madison Square Garden..."

Adrian Neville walks out onto the stage. The audience cheers him as he begins to walk down the entrance ramp.

[Justin Roberts]
"...from Newcastle, England.... ADRIAN NEVILLE!"

On the apron now, Adrian grabs the top rope. He leaps and sends himself over the top rope and into the ring. Adrian lands on his feet, then immediately jumps up to the middle rope. He looks out into the crowd. As he steps down, the referee checks to see if both men are ready to start the match. As everyone is set to compete, the referee calls for the match to begin.


The beginning portion of the match looks to be going to Neville as he lands a fury of offensive moves. The middle of the match looks to be going to both men, as they go back and forth. Near the end of the match it looks to be Kazarian in control, until Adrian lands a huge reverse hurricanrana that drops Kazarian on the top of his head. With Kazarian disoriented on the ground, Neville looks to take advantage with his signature move...

After a successful debut, Adrian jumps up to the middle rope in the corner. He faces the audience and points to a few of his fans in the audience. Some are holding signs, while others are wearing his T-shirt from his independent days. He hops off the turnbuckle and heads to the other side of the ring, where he ascends to the opposite turnbuckle. He motions to the crowd, pandering to them a little bit after a fantastic debut. The XWL Universe seems to already be warming up to Neville, and that stunning Red Arrow must have pulled a few fans to his side. As he hops off this turnbuckle, his theme stops playing and is replaced by one which we haven't heard in quite some time...

What on earth?

[Michael Cole]
YES! Finally!

Strangely, or even more strangely, rather than Fandango himself appearing, Summer Rae comes out to the stage, dancing all by herself. And if you really wanted to see something stunning, look no further. She wears another eloquent yet revealing dress, with her entire back and legs exposed. She continues to dance and shake her body on top of the stage, with every man in the building have their eyes glued to her. She stops for a moment, giggles playfully and plays with her hair as Neville remains confused in the ring.

[Michael Cole]
King, you haven't said anything since Summer got out here...

[Jim Ross]
I think he might be broken, thanks to that dress.

[Jerry Lawler]
I'm not looking at the dress!

Neville is still dumbfounded in the ring as he points to her and turns to the referee, Jack Doan, asking if he knows anything about this. Jack shrugs and assures him he knows nothing as Summer performs a split. She smiles and freezes, remaining like that for what seems like an eternity to many. Suddenly, the camera pans back over to the ring where Neville collapses to the mat and holds his head, kicking his right foot a little in pain. As the camera zooms out, we can clearly make out Fandango standing tall above him!

[Jim Ross]
Oh! Fandango with the attack from behind! It was a damn setup!

[Michael Cole]
Brilliant! I bet Fandango thought of this himself, that guy is quite the brainaic.

[Jim Ross]
Oh yeah, Summer Rae didn't mention having a plan like this two weeks ago or anything like that...

[Michael Cole]
Exactly!

[Jerry Lawler]
Where did Summer go?

Fandango stands over Neville, looking down at him with a cold face as the XWL Universe jeers him, clearly not pleased with him spoiling Neville’s debut.  Jack Doan acts quickly and  pulls Fandango away from Neville before he orders him out of the ring. Fandango ignores him and shoves him to the side, marching back over to Neville as he gets up on his hands and knees. Fandango quickly sends him back down to the mat, drilling him right in the gut with a swift kick. He continues with the assault, driving the boots  into the midsection over and over.  Eventually he forces himself away and rips off his jacket, tossing it aside to the floor. Summer Rae has now made her way down to the ringside and is cheering her man on through his vicious assault.

[Jerry Lawler]
Well, this certainly is a side of Johnny Curtis… or Fandango… that we’ve never seen before.

[Jim Ross]
Yeah, and I’m not liking it one bit.

[Michael Cole]
I think it’s great!

With Neville still out on the mat, Fandango steps over him and drops down to a knee, putting himself over Neville’s body. He jerks his head up off the mat and holds it up by the hair. allowing him to drill some hard rights into his skull. The blows start to become more rapid as the assault goes on, with each shot being a bit more vicious than the last. Once Fandango thinks he’s done enough, he takes Neville’s head and smashes into the mat  repeatedly, making sure he won’t be getting up anytime soon.  With Neville seemingly out for good now, Fandango points to the top rope. He does a little dance, stepping sideways back and forth with his arms out before he finally ascends to the top rope.  He takes his time trying to balance himself before standing up straight and shaking his body a bit.

[Jim Ross]
What is he thinking? Adrian Neville is halfway across the ring!

[Jerry Lawler]
This isn’t going to end well!

Fandango leaps off the top, soars over halfway across the ring, and creams Neville with a leg drop! Neville is done for and Jack Doan flips out, throwing his arms up into the air while his mouth hangs wide open. He quickly rushes to Neville’s aid as Summer Rae enters the ring. Fandango has remained crouched over Neville since hitting his move, but gets back up on his feet once Summer enters the ring. He takes her hand and brings it up, only to kiss his own hand before the two starting dancing.

[Jim Ross]
Well, Summer Rae promised Hulk Hogan something wouldn’t go according to plan, and now Adrian Neville’s big debut has been ruined thanks to Fandango or whatever the hell he wants to call himself.

[Michael Cole]
Show some respect, I think we’re looking at XWL’s next power… dance couple?

Fandango and Summer continue dancing over Neville’s lifeless body, ending it with a split from Summer and Fandango busting out his signature pose. Summer holds her arms out and smiles, while Fandango looks down at the mat, showing no expression. Breakdown heads to a commercial break, with XWL’s newest duo making a clear statement to Hulk Hogan, the XWL Universe, and the most important of all - Adrian Neville.

XWL Breakdown returns to see Eve Torres walking down a hallway.



She walks down with a smug look across her face ahead of her Triple Threat tonight when she comes across one of her opponents tonight... AJ Lee.



[Eve Torres]
Little AJ Lee...It's been quite a while hasn't it? But it's nice to see you're still the same crazy deluded poor excuse of a wrestler. I've seen you every week go to that ring, claim how you're overlooked by management...but for what? You don't deserve anything. You're not worthy of being in the Elimination Chamber like I am, You're not worthy of being Divas Champion like I am. You're nothing, AJ. You blame everybody else but yourself... but it's because of your crazy attitude why you deserve nothing. Nobody wants a nutjob with the divas championship, they want someone with class, with intelligence. But most importantly they want someone with talent... That's why tonight disposing of you and Melina will be just a stepping stone to the glory I deserve.

AJ, who was looking at Eve blankly suddenly returns to this reality.



[AJ Lee]
Oh Eve... why is it that whenever you open your mouth I drift off into a daydream.  I'm sorry, that's rude of me.  You can't help being boring.  How dare me not take notice of one of XWL's so-called "top divas"... What did you say?



[Eve Torres]
I didn't expect anything more from you. It's funny because this little act, all this over-confidence from you... will amount to nothing. Because let's look at the facts...What will you be doing at The Monsters Bash? Whilst I'm in that ring, competing in the first ever Divas Elimination Chamber, Whilst I'm out there becoming number one contender for the Divas Championship... You'll be nowhere to be seen.



[AJ Lee]
Um, no I don't think so Eve.  You see, I'll be at The Monster Bash one way or another.  Just like I was at Eye For An Eye last month despite not being scheduled to be there.  Because unlike you, I love this business.  It's all I ever wanted to do.  I wasn't some pretty model with no wrestling knowledge looking for a paycheck.  I didn't have to go through a Divas Search or appear on some TV show to get myself noticed.  I got into this business through my own hard work.  I got to XWL because I'm good.  I'm good at what I do.  But I'm always being held back.  It might seem clichéd or like some kind of gimmick, but I have a glass ceiling over me.  And when I break it, a lot people are going to get cut by the shards.  And you're going to be one of them Eve.

The bloodlust in AJ's eyes appears for a moment before it disappears as quickly as it came.



[AJ Lee]
But I made a promise to Paige that she'll be the first Diva to fall.  So we might have a triple threat match tonight with Melina, but I'll let the two of you live.  You won't win, but you'll live.  I can't let Paige down after all...

Eve laughs at AJs comments before continuing to speak



[Eve Torres]
You're as deluded as ever, I see AJ. You think I didn't work to get where I am today? I may have been on Diva Search but from day one in this business, I worked to get here. I wasn't just pushed to the top because of how I look...I'm a top diva in this business Because I actually earned everything I have had. I'm not like the Bella Twins, I'm not like Kaitlyn... I worked my way up from the bottom. I wasn't thrown to the top, I started at the bottom of this business and worked my way up. You might be good at what you do, You might be one of the better wrestlers in this diva division...but I'm better.



[AJ Lee]
Please... you don't know the meaning of hard work.  The only "work" you get up to is flashing your skin and doing "bootysaults" to keep people interested in you, because face it Eve, your wrestling skills aren't up to scratch.  You have to act like a stripper or prostitute yourself around to remain relevant.  You're a disgrace.



[Eve Torres]
A disgrace? You think I'm the disgrace? Take a look in a mirror, AJ. You think you're a true diva, but I'm the true definition of a diva. I have everything that it takes to be a diva, and I know that you don't and I know that it eats you up inside. But don't worry AJ, there's no need to be jealous of me. You've had your 15 minutes of fame, you've achieved more than anyone would've thought... I mean who would've thought that a little homeless geek would turn out to become a divas champion? Been here it's eating away at you AJ , it's effecting your mental state, it's time for you to give up AJ.

AJ becomes clearly annoyed.



[AJ Lee]
Who are you to comment on my personal life?  Who exactly do you think you are?  And for your information... Eve... I don't think I'm a "true Diva".  I'm the real "Anti-Diva".  I hate everything that being a Diva stands for and that's why it's my goal to redefine the meaning of that word and remove the likes of you from this business.

AJ's rage quickly turns into a happy smile.



[AJ Lee]
But anyway.  I have stuff to do before our match, so I'll see you later Eve.



AJ pats Eve on the shoulder in a friendly way before skipping off down the corridor as Eve tries to figure out what just happened.  The screen fades to black for a commercial break.

[Brie Bella]: Elimination Chamber, here I come and there's no diva in this locker room who is going to stop me, just look at Torrie.

[Nikki Bella]: That no good, pathetic scum. Did you see how she tried to fight back?

[Brie Bella]: I know right, that was truly the definition of a bitch slap, I barely felt it.

[Nikki Bella]: How many times do we have to beat her before she gets it through her thich skull that she'll never compare to us?

[Brie Bella]: Not with looks...

[Nikki Bella]: Or skills...

[Brie Bella]: Did I already say beauty?

[Nikki Bella]: You did but it's okay, it needs to be reiterated.

[Eva Marie]: Hi ladies!

[Brie Bella]: Oh look who it is, Eva Maria...

[Eva Marie]: Eva Maria, but it's okay, everyone makes mistakes.

[Brie Bella]: I wish I asked you to correct me but I don't think I did. Correct me if I'm wrong Nikki, did I?

[Nikki Bella]: You sure didn't.

[Brie Bella]: I thought so.

[Nikki Bella]: I'm guessing you're here like we asked you to be. Good, you can follow directions, one good skill, kudos to you.

[Eva Marie]: So what do I have to do...

[Brie Bella]: Yeah... I was just getting there, if you could wait...

[Eva Marie]: I didn't mean to...

[Nikki Bella]: There you go again, interrupting us. Speak when you're asked to. But anyways, tonight, I have a match against Torrie. Of course Brie will be by my side, but I want to see what you're made of so...

[Brie Bella]: You're going to accompany Nikki to the ring along with me and watch her back. This is your chance to show us you can be trusted. Got it?

[Eva Marie]: I won't let you down!

[Brie Bella]: You better not.

[Nikki Bella]: Anyways Brie, so I was thinking you and I need some new gear, you know something fresh, something never done...

[Eva Marie]: What about a pink attire?

[Brie Bella]: I didn't know you were still here, you can leave now, we'll call you when we need you. The exit is that way, you can't miss it.

How are y'all doing tonight? Good? I hope so, yeah, I'm good, heck, I'm great! You see. . . In case you didn't know, or in case you're just slow, Kenny King is getting another shot at his United States Championship in just three weeks time. That's right, Alex Shelley, against his best efforts, can't escape me that easily. Because I know what I want, I want MY United States title. The title that was so rudely kept from me, when Alex smashed this very steel chair into my back at Eye for an Eye. He took the cheap way out, the way that Kenny King never takes. But that's okay, it's okay because for our rematch I made sure that he wouldn't be able to slither his way out of it. I made it. . . A chairs match. Where the chairs are legal. Shelley is going to get a taste of his own medicine when I smash this chair over that pretty little face of his. And when I'm standing above him with the U.S. title around my waist, he'll know that he brought this upon himself. That he cost himself the championship. That Kenny King is just heads and tails better than him. I am the uncrowned United States Champion; but not for long. At The Monster Bash I will beat Alex Shelley, and you better believe that!

[Jim Ross] Beautiful snap suplex by Daniel Bryan! Oh wait, he's going up top!

*Daniel scales the turnbuckle as Colt is 3/4 of the way across the ring.*



[Jerry Lawler] There's no way he'll be able to make that surely?! Colt is all the way across the ring!

*Daniel stands upright on the top turnbuckle maintaining his balance as he opens up his arms, the fans cheers get louder and louder as he feeds off their reaction before diving across the ring catching Colt with a headbutt! He covers Colt but it's only a two count as Daniel looks up shocked. He moves to the corner setting up for his knockout knee strike, he raises his arms in the air signalling for the fans to chant YES as they do. He runs at full force across the ring for it but Colt ducks out of the way causing Daniel to land in the corner and Colt jumps quickly with the flying asshole! Colt kicks Daniel in the stomach and then hooks his arms for the Colt .45, he's about to lift Daniel up but Daniel spins out of it grabbing Colt's arm and he pulls him down to the ground. He hooks Colt's arm bending it back and then locks in the crossface for the full Yes Lock! Colt yells in pain but manages to get to the ropes. The referee begins to count much like he did when Chris Jericho applied the hold earlier tonight.*

*Daniel lets go before the DQ and rolls off shouting to the referee "I have till' five!" mocking Jericho's disqualification earlier. Daniel gets back up only to walk into a discuss clothesline from Colt, Colt stalks Daniel waiting for him to get up and then springboards with a moonsault to a standing Daniel. Colt hits a big leg drop followed by a pin but it's only a two count, Daniel is slowly getting back up to his feet but then he quickly sweeps Colt's legs! He turns him over as fast as he can and he locks in the Walls of Jericho!*

[Michael Cole] What the?!

[Jim Ross] Walls of Jericho! A little payback from Mr. Bryan!!

*Colt is locked in the Walls by Daniel for roughly ten seconds until Chris Jericho slides into the ring out of nowhere clobbering Daniel with a forearm from behind!*

[Jerry Lawler] Oh so it's alright for Jericho to do the Yes Lock but not for Daniel to do the Walls?!



*Jericho looks down at a grounded Daniel as the bell is rung and Colt is announced the winner via DQ, Colt is seen rolling out of the ring holding his back as Jericho slowly gets up to his feet. He waits for Daniel to get up to his knees and then kicks him full force in the stomach and shouts "You want to steal MY move?"*



*He turns to the crowd and mockingly chants "YES!" over and over prompting the fans to chant "NO!" to Jericho. He waits for Daniel to get up to his knees again and says "You're gonna tap out, junior!" He grabs Daniel by the legs and drags him to the center of the ring, he looks as if he's going to turn him over for the Walls but once he tries Daniel grabs a hold of Jericho's left arm. Once he has Jericho's arm he uses it to pull Jericho down and hook his arm between his legs and then fully puts on the Yes Lock in a brilliant reversal!*

[Jim Ross] What a counter!!

[Michael Cole] Oh no, is he gonna tap?!

*The fans burst into cheers as Jericho has absolutely nowhere to go, he uses his free arm to pinch and claw at Daniel's fingers but like he said earlier, he's not gonna let go. Jericho yells in pain as the fans now start to chant "Tap!" over and over, Jericho realizes he has nowhere to go and after an excruciatingly long time in the Yes Lock he taps out!*

[Jerry Lawler] He tapped! Daniel Bryan just made Chris Jericho tap out!!

*Daniel lets go of the hold once Jericho taps as a hurt Jericho rolls out of the ring clutching onto his arm, Daniel runs over to the turnbuckle and jumps up looking out at the crowd.*



*He points down to Jericho as the fans start to chant "You tapped out!" over and over as  a frustrated Jericho walks up the ramp holding his arm yelling at the fans to shut up and that this is far from over. Daniel is alone in the ring now as he gets down off the turnbuckle and raises his arms in the air shouting "YES!" celebrating his personal victory over Chris Jericho tonight.*



[Jim Ross] By god listen to the crowd! Could this be the sight we see at The Monster Bash?!

*The fans join in as Daniel rolls out of the ring high fiving fans, we fade away from this scene to a video package for former world champion, Dolph Ziggler!*

Renee Young is shown standing in front of the usual interview set-up, but she's not alone, she's joined by the duo of Kaitlyn and Layla, two women that have been brought together because of the recent drama stirred up by the sneaky actions of Maria.  


{Renee Young}
Ladies and gentlemen, I've got two very big guests with me right now, together they are the longest reigning Divas Champions in history, Layla and Kaitlyn!

The two look at one another with a light chuckle, then turn their attention back to Miss Renee Young

{Renee Young}
Thank you both for being here, you've had an interesting journey to the friendship that you now have, you didn't always see eye to eye, but after Layla turned over a new leaf, and Maria was unmasked as the mystery woman that had been plaguing you Kaitlyn. Things finally seemed to have fell in your favor, and it's nice to see you two resolve your differences, how do you feel about burying the hatchet so to speak?


Renee moves the microphone past Kaitlyn, and right to Layla, to get her thoughts.



{Layla}
It's such a huge weight that's been lifted off my shoulders, I'm overjoyed that we've been able to work through our issues, and she's been able to forgive me, as I've also forgiven her for the whole mystery attacker incident. It's hard to have friends in a business like this, everyone is out for that next opportunity that'll get them ahead, but Kaitlyn's different. She's one in a million, someone that thinks with their heart, as well as their mind, she's a true friend, and I'm glad that we could put the past behind us, and be there for each other now. We're both very independent, but it's nice to have that little cushion of support, someone that you can trust to have your back when you need it most, and that's exactly what I have in Kaitlyn.



[Kaitlyn]
I wouldn't say the hatchet is fully buried, probably close to ninety nine percent buried but there will always be that one percent that doesn't get buried. I've been through a lot and one thing I've learned is that no matter who it is, you can never fully trust them. I don't mean to offend Layla but in this business, it's about being at the top and two divas can't be at the top when their is only a single Divas Championship. Take for example AJ Lee, we were the best of friends. We would ride from show to show together, catch a movie together, grab a bite to eat together, but eventually something changed in her and our friendship kinda vanished. But trust me, I can trust Layla more then I could've trusted her a few months ago, but with all I've been through I don't think I could really trust anyone to a full extent again.

{Renee Young}
How does Kaitlyn's take on it make you feel, Layla?




{Layla}
We're just two different people, with two different views. I think we're in a far better place than we were previously, so I'm looking at that as a positive. Kaitlyn's been through a lot, when this whole mess with Maria went down she had no one stand up for her besides myself, people she thought were her friends just looked at it as an opportunity to finally breakout themselves, rather than aiding a friend in need. I've been responsible for a lot of drama throughout the years, but that also means that I've seen things from a view many normally don't. I have a positive outlook now because of being given another chance by the fans, and by people like...well Kaitlyn. So hopefully in time Kaitlyn's wounds will heal, and she'll be able to let this guard down that she's been forced to put up due to past experiences.

{Renee Young}
That's very deep, clearly Kaitlyn you do feel some sort of ties to Layla, given the fact that you came to her aid last week. So while maybe the hatchet might not be all the way in the ground, it's at least deep enough to build a trust you were unable to have before. So Kaitlyn, Hulk Hogan has strongly recommended that you accompany Layla out there tonight against Maria, so have you taken his suggestion under consideration over the last week?



[Kaitlyn]
I've taken it under consideration and trust me, I'm going to be out there. Not just cause of Layla, but because of Maria. Even if she wasn't facing Layla, I'm not going to let her get away with using that pipe of hers. She wants to have a friend having her back, Layla is going to have a friend having hers. If Maria chooses to pull out that weapon of hers, I won't hesitate to get in that ring and take her down a notch. I'd beat the smirk off of her face, the red out of her hair and send her back to the whore house she came from, right Layla?

{Layla}
Real talk! Maria better play nice tonight, or else my girl over here will do something that's NOT so nice.



{Renee Young}
I can't blame you with wanting to do that, but how about we move away from Maria for just a second. Layla, this question is more towards you. We've only got two spots left for the Divas Elimination Chamber and Kaitlyn here hasn't been confirmed yet and you haven't been told you are in yet, have you?

[Kaitlyn]
Nope, I haven't.

{Renee Young}
Layla, do you think Kaitlyn is going to make it into the chamber and if not, who do you think Hogan has in mind for the chamber?




{Layla}
If I had anything to do with it, Kaitlyn would've been announced with me, I mean like you said earlier, together our reigns in the last two years far out match any previous champion, that proves that we have what it takes to be on a level like no other, and that's what you need in a match like The Elimination Chamber. History is being made, which again is something that's no stranger to either of us, we make history. This match is that final last task for us to overcome as a division, to prove without a shadow of a doubt that we can actually be taken seriously, that we are on even grounds with our male counterparts. Don't get me wrong, we've got a great group of girls already, but it can become so much better with this one right here joining us for this wild ride ahead.



Layla looks to Kaitlyn with a friendly smile, whereas Kaitlyn starts to show a faint one in response, appreciative of what Layla had to say.

[Kaitlyn]
Yeah, the chamber doesn't really need me in it but I'm sure things would end up a lot different if I was in it. But I wouldn't guarantee things would be better with me in the match, Layla, considering you'd have to end up beating me to get that championship match and the record shows I've got the advantage over you.

{Layla}
But underestimation is a pretty big advantage in itself too, and record shows that I'm not exactly someone you should underestimate.



{Renee Young}
A little bit of competitive banter between you both, it's nice to see that between friends. Now Hulk Hogan  must have a lot of on his mind now with the news of XWL being under new ownership. What do you ladies think about the news that broke at the end of the show last week, when we all learned that the owner of almost five years now, had been bought out? Are you worried about any changes that could come? Do you see it as a good thing, or perhaps bad given the fact that there's so much mystery surrounding all of this?

[Kaitlyn]
I mean, a new owner could be good or it could be bad. We don't know who it is so we can't really judge it. It has to be someone pretty rich to buy out the company like they have so that takes a lot of people of of the equation. It really is too early to tell anything, it is too early to tell if it is good or bad, if things will be good or bad for,  us Divas and Superstars. If I had to take a guess on who it may be, I wouldn't have a single clue of what to say. Could be some rich guy who owns some other company or it could just be some guy who won the lottery, I don't know what to think. Let's just hope they don't go and cancel the chamber yet again.

{Renee Young}
That certainly would be quite the unfortunate decision, hopefully they see how hard you all have been working for this and how badly you want it so that another cancellation is the furthest thing from their mind. What do you think, Layla?



{Layla}
Much like Kaitlyn, I'm pretty on the fence about it, it could be a good thing, and I hope it is. But right now we know nothing other than the fact that they were rich enough to buy out the old owner, and that's either a power that could take this company to the next level....or that could present new challenges for us all to overcome. As long as The Elimination Chamber is still scheduled, and we women are still being featured highly on this product, then I think we'll be alright.  

{Renee Young}
Tonight you each have your own respective matches, of course you Layla will go one on one with Maria, and you'll have Kaitlyn in your corner. Which I assume you'll also be in Kaitlyn's corner as she heads into quite a big match herself. With the final Elimination Chamber participants being announced tonight, if you can defeat Madison Eagles, the current Divas Champion...it could do wonders for your chances at filling one of those last spots. What are you thinking heading into this match, Kaitlyn?

[Kaitlyn]
If it wasn't obvious enough, I'm going to go out there and do two things. Make an impact and then I'm going to defeat Madison Eagles. Simple enough, isn't it? I go out there tonight and I win, just to give Madison a little preview of what is to come at November To Remember, which don't forget, is the first Pay-Per-View I defended my championship at for the first time when I won it for the second time which also lead to records being broken. Managed to defeat Layla and Brie there in 2012 while in 2011 I defended my championship against AJ Lee in a ladder match. History shows I'm good when it comes to championship matches at November To Remember so Madison, if I do get into the chamber and I do win, it'd be smart of her to bring her A-Game.

Kaitlyn pauses for a second before speaking again.

[Kaitlyn]
But of course, I've got to be in the chamber and then win it before any of that happens. So I'm hoping when I win tonight, Hogan takes it as a little clue to say "Hey Brother, that Kaitlyn 'gal is pretty good and she should be in the chamber!" Sorry, my Hogan impression isn't exactly the best.



{Layla}
As you can see Renee, Kaitlyn's ready for more, she wants to get back on that horse so to speak just like I do...we may be different people, different personalities, but we a few key things in common, that aside from the Maria factor...bring us together. No matter what we accomplish, we're never satisfied with ourselves, because we know it can be topped and we practically beg people to do just that. Before my reign as Divas Champion started, I wanted to make a difference, to leave an impact that the next champion had no choice but to follow up. When I was hunting the Divas title, there wasn't that determination, or focus in anyone....it's a bit sad to say, but it's the truth. People were too complacent, and that's the exact opposite of what we both are. She did what I secretly hoped would happen when I eventually lost that belt, she shattered the record I set, and made a new one of her own.





{Layla}
I've made my history, I've left my mark, I know that....I've competed in so many firsts for the divas division, The Elimination Chamber being added to that list soon...but much like Kaitlyn, I want more. I miss having The Divas Championship around my waist, The Monster Bash was a big night for me three years ago, I competed in the very first, and still only Hell in a Cell match that this division has seen. I not only took part in a major moment for the divas, I was the one with my hand raised at the end of it all. If that can happen again in a few weeks...I could finally get the one on one championship match that's eluded me. It's not Kaitlyn's fault, but Brie lost that Triple Threat, not me...and then for whatever reason she got several other opportunities after that, while I wasn't granted the same luxury. So the stakes are high, all I've wanted is just that one chance, me and the champion, no one to get the way, and if I can do what I did in Hell in a Cell...I could finally get that.

{Renee Young}
You could, you just have to defeat five other divas which won't be an easy challenge I'd suppose. But from the looks of it, we have time for one last question. To put it plain and simple, what could we expect if it came down to Layla versus Kaitlyn in the final two participants of the chamber?



[Kaitlyn]
You can expect to see what you'd usually see whenever we'd face off. We've always had some intense fights and this one would be no different. You've seen what we are capable of and more so, it's been pretty unpredictable who'd win when you see Layla versus Kaitlyn on a piece of paper. She has wins over me, I have wins over her. I'm sure I think I'd win while I'm sure Layla thinks she'd win. I'm pretty sure the two of us are going to at least bring 110% to the table for this match if I get placed into the match because we both want this championship back pretty bad. It means something to us and not holding it just feels weird when you've held it as long as we've held it. It's probably more awkward on me considering I just lost it not to long ago while Layla lost it like, close to a year ago was it?

{Layla}
The Monster Bash will be one year ago exactly that I lost the biggest gauntlet ever held for The Divas Championship...it was a tough challenge, and unfortunately I just wasn't able to overcome it. I miss the feeling of being champion, when you hold it so long like we have, it feels like it's almost apart of you, and then when it's ripped away in that moment, it's like you've lost a piece of yourself. So this Elimination Chamber, the stakes are high no matter how you look at it, and should it come down to us in the finals...we know the title will be in good hands either way, but I do hope it ends up in mine again very soon...anyways we've got matches to get ready for, so shall we get going, Kaitlyn?

Kaitlyn nods and the two leave to prepare for the matches here tonight. We then fade to the next segment.

Maria is standing in one corner while Layla in the other after this back and forth contest. Both women charge back in grabbing each other by the hair with one hand and delivering punches, forearms, slaps, and scratches with the other. The ref starts warning them but they refuse to release each other! They work their way towards the ropes stumble over them refusing to concede a grip or break in the brawling to one another. The ref yells one last warning saying that if they don't stop and get back in the ring he'll end it but it falls on hollow ears as they continue around ring side. The ref calls for the bell telling the announcer to end it in a double disqualification.

Both women work their way to the barricade to the left of the announce table and Maria starts getting the edge. She fires a forearm that sends Layla staggering and closes in with another. She grabs Layla's arm and whips her as hard as she can into the barricade drawing a loud gasp from the crowd on impact. Maria stalks over Layla for second before dragging her thumb across her own throat and looking into the camera saying "You're next Kaitlyn!" Maria lifts Layla up and hooks her head for her finishing move bulldog and takes aim at the ring steps. She charges-.......!










Maria stops dead in her tracks releasing her grip on Layla and looks towards the ramp as Kaitlyn sprints down to ring side! Maria wonders from the left of the announcers table to the center of the ringside floor as Kaitlyn reaches the bottom of the ramp, Layla slowly recovers as well from where she was released and her gaze meets Kaitlyn's as they both smile finally having their rat trapped. Maria's expression goes to panic as the two friends close in on finally getting revenge. They lunge an-!

{Hulk Hogan}
Hold it right there ladies! I've seen enough.

Maria takes this moment of distraction to hop over the barricade into the fans and walk up into a higher section still looking on from there but creating distance between herself and her enemies.


{Hulk Hogan}
Now I've got way too much to be worrying about with John Laurinaitis nosing around here and threatening my job. I've got big things planned next week, but first things first I've got two spots left in this Elimination Chamber match, and you know what they say, if two people can't get along, lock 'em in a room until they're forced to work out their differences. Well ladies, that's just what I'm going to do. In case I'm not clear enough, Kaitlyn, Maria, you're both taking those last two spots!


The fans cheer at the fact that Kaitlyn's going to be included, Layla pulls Kaitlyn in for a tight embrace, excited for her because she knows she wanted in, while Kaitlyn seems ecstatic. Maria however isn't jumping for joy, but a shot at the number one contendership does interest her.



{Hulk Hogan}
But that's not all, Layla and Maria, you were supposed to have a match tonight, but instead you decided to go crazy all over the place, and I've got just the solution for your wild ways. Next week, on a very special episode of Breakdown, I'm pushing the envelope like nothing you ain't ever seen before, and you two have just given me an idea to add something extra special to that show. Maria about four years ago, you took part in history, and I hope you paid attention because it's going to be deja vu missy. Next week I'm ordering a rematch of tonight's match, but in order to keep the action inside the ring, that match is going to be a Steel Cage Match!


The fans go crazy for the announcement, while Maria looks like she's about to go out of her mind at the fact she's being thrown inside a Steel Cage again, obviously she has very bad memories of the last time she was in one. Layla seems quite pleased with this announcement, still wanting her hands on Maria, and she'll have the opportunity to do it again next week. Kaitlyn's amused by the situation and can be seen mouthing "Lucky" at Layla who just laughs in response.


{Hulk Hogan}
Consider it practice for what's to come at The Monster Bash, and prove to me and everyone else that you've both got what it takes to get the job done inside The Elimination Chamber. I am a man who lives with a heavy belief that honor and respect are two of the most important things a man can have, I respected Christian, I still do but what he did with that slap and those comments was challenge my honor. He questioned it and showed little respect to me and so when he slapped me, saying that's what to expect at The Monster Bash I decided to show him what he'd REALLY need to bring to stop me. These fans respect me, they have honor, they would never slap me.....question whether I deserve this shot. Not one hombre, no man deserves to be where he is at that pay per view more than I and him questioning that upset me a tad and then too slap me and think that's what it would take was the last straw. I returned the favor and laid him flat out and so this week if he questions whether I deserve this and his jaw starts hurting he'll already know my response.

Too many battles were fought and a deadly war was waged to get myself where I am. Although unintentional, innocent lives were at risk for me to continue my dream, and they wouldn't let me stop going for it. Ricardo here, despite all of Kane's actions and threats never once asked me to quit or to stop all he asked for was for me to avenge and show everyone that I am the best. Not just the best in this company, or this country, but the world. I refuse to accept defeat as you've heard a million times and I finally get what I've earned and that's my shot, my one on one fair shake at the championship and at The Monster's Bash I will earn that last three count, that last submission, and EARN my first XWL World Heavyweight Championship.

Not Christian, not CM Punk, not Shelley or Morrison none of those men are the best. The one true best "Mexico's Greatest Export", "The Mexican Aristocrat", me....will finally earn the championship and the designation to verify what I believe in the center of that ring every time I compete! I will beat you Christian, I don't have a single doubt in my mind or a single shred of disbelief in myself to do so and that leaves the only question left as this....should I kick your head in or break your arm?

*The intense Del Rio turns and walks from the camera man as Ricardo turns and quickly follows while the camera fades with the last image being the two friends turning down a new corridor.

*At the sound of the Dashingly Insane One’s theme hits, everybody in the US Airways Arena hops on their feet. Of course, they are in no way, shape, or form cheering for Cody, but rather they are jeering him out of the building. He steps out, holding his hood down over his face, and he practically leaps to the top of the entrance ramp with the large steps he takes. Once there, he bends his knees a bit and looks down, psyching himself up for what he has on his agenda tonight.*

I’m so sorry for trying to deliver unbiased commentary.

*As the commentators continue to bicker, Cody raises and rips off his hood, revealing a giant grin on his face, much to the contrast of his icy cold expression two weeks ago.*

Well folks, for once I might be interested in hearing what this kid has to say, his attack on the Rock two weeks ago left us with more questions than answers.

That’s for sure, JR. These two have been on top here at XWL for quite some time, it was only a matter of time before they finally collided, but why did Cody choose last week to make the first move?

[Michael Cole]
As far as I’m concerned the Rock deserved it, he’s taken cheap shot after cheap shot at Cody for the last two years! Enough is enough!

[Jim Ross]
Now if you missed when these two clashed in the ring last week, take a look at some of this footage we have for you.

*A big LAST WEEK graphic appears on the bottom left hand corner of the screen as the replay begins, starting off at the point where the Rock was looking for his signature Rock Bottom. Cody was able to fend him off with a series of elbow strikes, following up with the Beautiful Disaster kick! Rock was helpless now as Cody stalked his prey, lifting him up only to drive him back down into the mat with the Cross Rhodes.*

*Back live Cody has made his way down the entrance ramp, brushing off all the fans who reach out with their hands looking to get a high five.  He leaps up the stairs, only taking two steps as he gets on the apron. He wipes his feet and ducks under the middle rope, but stops and gazes at the crowd. He stares at the XWL Universe with no emotion for a few seconds before he does his signature cackle.  He enters the ring and takes the microphone out of Justin Roberts’ hand.*

[Cody Rhodes]
ATTENTION PLEASE.

*Cody’s famous last words elect more heat from the crowd, but “The Savior of XWL” ignores them and continues to speak.*


[Cody Rhodes]
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve come out here to this ring and spoken, a few weeks since I last told you all the truth. I just want to address the elephant in the room here, the truth is that I did say “I Quit” at an Eye for an Eye. I have no shame in admitting that, because Ted stooped to a new low that night.  He knew nothing he could ever do would break me, he knew I am the better man and he knew he could never beat me. So what did he decide to do? He decided to put my life in jeopardy. I didn’t say “I Quit” because I’m a coward, I said “I Quit” because I am a genius! I am smarter than each and every single one of you slack job mouthbreathers  out there! What would all of you do if your life was in danger like that? Would you just let someone put you through a SPOTLIGHT? The truth is I did was right, I did what I did so I could live to fight another day. I did what I did for me. And, just in case you people haven’t caught on yet. and I know you haven’t, there is one important aspect of what I did. I did what I did at an Eye for an Eye to save MYSELF for once.


[Cody Rhodes]
Because I have finally realized something I have been missing for my entire career . I have spent the last two years of my life dedicated to helping, saving you people. I wanted to open all of your eyes, enlighten you, and expose you all to the truth. I thought you were all blind, and that you were all too comfortable with being ignorant. Now, however, I realize I was the one who was blind all along. In a way I’m like Oedipus Rex, I devoted myself to the truth and justice I, wanted nothing more to find out who was the problem.  And, in the end, I was the problem all along. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Cody Rhodes was the problem for none other than Cody Rhodes this entire time. I called myself “The Savior of XWL” and I truly believed it. I truly believed in my cause, my quest to save all of you people. Now I see all my efforts were done in vain, and I just wasted my time.  I see that all of you people are unsavable, that nothing I could ever do will bring you people entire the light. If you people were so willing to follow men like Ted DiBiase, then what hope do you even have? I realized that I should no longer be concerned with saving you people, the only one I need to be concerned about saving is Cody Rhodes.


[Cody Rhodes]
Now, that just leads me to another question. How do I save myself? Leaving this company never seems to work, because I always end up finding my way back. The way I save myself is by ridding me of all you people. You people are just as big of a part of the problem as I am. Everything I’ve given to you, everything I’ve done for you, and you still turn your backs and shake your heads at me. You people are disgusting, remorseless abominations of nature. Let’s take a look at this example, because tonight we are in the WORST arena of all time, Madison Square Garden. Two years ago at November to Remember I marched into this arena to do battle with Mick Foley in an Extreme Rules. On that night, I was standing up for something I believed in. I was trying to help all you people, I was trying to lead all you people by example. I slayed Mick Foley that night like the best he is, and liberated you all from his reign of tyranny on Breakdown. Yet, you people did what you always did, you turned your backs and shook your heads. I should have realized that you people could never be saved, you would just desperately cling to your false idols because you lack self-confidence, but I was too naive then.


[Cody Rhodes]
It wasn’t until a few weeks ago where I finally realized how you people really are. Once I finally pulled the wool from over my eyes, I knew I had to do something to not only redeem myself in my own eyes, but I had to do something that would put a dagger in the hearts of each and every single one of you. So, what do I do? I go after, I take out none other than “The People’s Champion” himself, the Rock! The Rock is quite the character, isn’t he?  I guess we should ignore the time where he went corporate, because he is the hero to you people, right? You all look up to him as some type of a god, but two weeks ago I proved he was nothing more than a mere mortal man. I laid the Rock laying two weeks ago in this very ring, and he hasn’t been seen since. Of course, I’m no fool. I know that the Rock isn’t gone for good, and I know that he’ll be back. I’ll be waiting, however. In fact, I’m anticipating it. I look forward to getting the Rock in the ring, because each victory I get up on him will be another victory over you people. The next time I get the Rock in this ring, I will prove to you all that you have worshiped the wrong man.


[Cody Rhodes]
You know, the Rock and I have been on this collison course for quite some time. I remember the first time we met, back in July of 2011. Rock cracked some jokes and made fun of my appearance for your people’s enjoyment, and I regret that I let him get away with it. Because that was the old, naive Cody Rhodes. The Cody Rhodes of today, the Cody Rhodes of tomorrow, would never let somebody do that to him now. Then, a few months later, the Rock and myself started to team up a bit. I helped him out, and he helped me out. Or, that’s what I thought. at the time. You can go back and watch a show from late 2011, you might see Cody Rhodes lend a hand to the Rock and take out John Cena for him. Did the Rock ever pay me back, did the Rock ever return the favor? No, he didn’t. Because the only one who matters to the Rock is Dwayne Johnson. Yet, all of you people still idolize him and I just don’t get it. It infuriates me that you people would give a man like that everything, and somebody like me would get nothing but ridicule. I have given you people so much, and just like the Rock, you have given nothing back.

I guess you two go together well then. The Rock and all the stupid people, a match made in heaven. You all nothing but cowards, liars, hypocrites, and pardon my language, assholes. You people, just like your champion, don’t give a damn about anyone or anything else. You just make sure everything is going a-okay for yourself, and you bitch when nobody gives you a hand out. It sucks when you never get anything, right? It does, but you people don’t deserve to get anything. I am the only one who deserves a break, but I just can’t catch one. For all of my hardwork and dedication, I have nothing to show for it. The only thing I ever got was the World Championship, but I had to work for twenty-eight years to get that. And what happened when I finally got it, when my hard work appeared  to have finally paid off? Hulk Hogan sent out his goons in Ted DiBiase and Dolph Ziggler to steal the title away from me, and after I was screwed, I haven’t even been offered a rematch for that title. Everybody seems to have it out for me, from you people to XWL Management, but now I’m going to start fighting back.

I am once again on a quest, but this time I am on a quest for vengeance.  Vengeance against you people, this company, and the Rock. And what better way to do so than taking out “The Great One” himself. I get to destroy you hero, kill the poster boy of this company, and most of all I get to cripple the Rock for everything he’s done over the past two years since arriving in this company. My company.  The Rock is going to pay for everything he has done, he will pay for everything he has to XWL, this business as a whole, and most of all - ME. Randomly, Cody bursts into a heavy laughter before continuing to speak.* I’m sorry, I just find something kind of funny. For so long, too long if you ask me, I have been running around here as the savior of this company. But now that I’m abandoning that , who’s going to save this company from me?

BUSINESS HAS PICKED UP! THE ROCK IS HERE!

I think Cody has his answer!

Cody! Get out of there!

*The crowd go wild as The Great Ones theme hits the P.A and The Rock wastes no time in making his presence known. After two weeks ago he is ready to bring the fight to Cody. He charges down to the ring as Cody turns his attention to The Rock and eggs him on as he quickly slides in the ring. As he gets to his feet he grabs Cody’s right hand as he attempted a right hook. The Rock quickly fires back with vicious right hands of his own connecting each time knocking Cody further back until he is on the ropes. The crowd are cheering and egging on their hero as The Rock can feel momentum on his side. He knows that he is in control now. He irish whips Cody and attempts a clothesline but Cody ducks! He rushes to the opposite side and jumps up on the second rope, looking to hit The Disaster Kick which knocked Rock unconscious two weeks ago. He springs off the second rope and swings his foot around but Rock ducks. Rock was one step ahead this time and charges at Cody hitting him with a huge clothesline, Cody quickly gets to his feet but before he can do anything Rock hits him again and knocks him down.*

THE ROCK IS KICKING ASS AND TAKIN NAMES!

*The crowd are cheering and chanting for The Rock as help pushes Cody into the corner. He attempts an irish whip into the opposite corner but Cody counters, he sends Rock into the opposite corner and he hits it hard on his back but uses it as momentum and charges forward and hits a powerful clothesline which Cody stays down for this time. The Rock tenses and screams as he has the momentum on his side. He can feel the electricity in the arena and knows he can finish Cody off right now. He slowly begins to stalk Cody. A groggy Cody Rhodes is unaware that The Rock is right behind him and just waiting for him to get up. Cody is on one knee and is using the ropes to pull himself up. The Rock continues to stalk Cody and gets closer, looking more and more ready to hit Rock Bottom, Cody is on his feet and Rock is ready, Cody turns around in a daze when suddenly…*

CAN YOU FEEL IT? MADISON SQUARE GARDEN HAS COME UNGLUED!

*...Cody acts out of instinct and kicks, hitting the Rock with a low blow! The fans jeer as Rock hold his groin and drops down to his knees, leaving him helpless to a swift kick to the head! Rock is out, while Cody staggers and falls back to the ropes, with the ropes being the only reason to why he’s still standing. It’s clear that Cody is still dazed after the beating he took from the Rock as he leans against the ropes and holds his head, but the low blow and kick seemed to have bought him some time to recover. Rock remains out on the canvas as the fans begin a “ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCKY!” chant, enraging “The Dashingly Insane One.” Cody responds to the chants by yanking the Rock off the ground and lifting him up over his shoulders, sending him back down into the mat with the Alabama Slam! Cody wastes no time and gets him off the mat, driving him shoulder first into the steel ringpost!*

Cody has turned the tide, and it seems like he’s gotten the better of the Rock again!

Let’s go Cody!

*Rock remains wedged in between the turnbuckles, with his right arm wrapped around the ringpost. Cody steps to the outside and stops on the apron, pondering for a moment. Once he gets a sick enough idea in his head, he charges and grabs the Rock’s arm, leaping off the apron and slamming the arm into the ringpost once again!  This time the Rock bounces back and falls to the mat, holding his arm in pain while Cody lands on his feet on the outside, a devious smirk growing on his face. He gingerly slides back into the ring as he stalks the Rock, waiting for him to get up. He still has a smirk on his face, like he can’t wait for the Rock to get up just so he can inflict more pain on him. Once Rock is finally up on his feet, Rhodes hits the ropes and connects with the Beautiful Disaster, knocking the Rock out once more! Cody remains kneeled over the Rock’s fallen body, with the smirk returning to his face.*

I think the Rock is out cold, that Disaster Kick nearly took his head off!

*Breakdown heads to a commercial break as Cody exits the ring, leaving the Rock face down and knocked out on the mat. Cody Rhodes has once again gotten the better of the Rock, thanks to the Beautiful Disaster. It seems like something has snapped in “The Dashingly Insane One,” and he might even be more ruthless and sinister than before. The former, as it seems, “Savior of XWL” has turned his back on the people he once tried to save and now he is in business for himself. After taking the Rock down again here tonight, we are left with the question Cody asked before hand, who is going to save XWL from the Savior of XWL?*

Kaitlyn wins.

*After a tough loss to Kaitlyn, Madison Eagles is shown getting up to her knees in defeat. She angrily grabs her title from the referee and holds it, she looks as if she's about to get up and leave when all of a sudden..*





*It's Mickie James! The fans cheer as Mickie marches onto the stage with a microphone in hand as Madison looks on unimpressed in the ring still holding onto her title.*



[Mickie James] Heyyy Madison! Tough loss just there huh?  You look pretty tired now Madison, now wouldn't it be a shame if someone attacked you right now? That's exactly how I felt last week, I was tired and hurt after my match with Brie Bella and then you decided to come along and hit me in the back of the head with that title of yours. I bet you're real proud of that aren't you? Such a fighting champion who's afraid to take me on normally. First it was that countout crap and then you attack from behind. I could easily run down the ramp and beat you up right now, but the difference between you and I is I don't need to do that. See Madison, I don't need to stoop down to your level. I know exactly why you attacked me from behind and that's because deep down you know you can't beat me fair and square.



[Mickie James] If I'm going to kick your ass, I'm going to do it when you're 100% and I'm going to do it to your face unlike you. I know that I'm in your head Madison, you may think you have got the upper hand over me after your attack last week but all you proved is I'm getting to you. I can tell by the look in your eyes right now that you're still thinking about how I beat you before and I am undefeated against the Divas Champion. That doesn't sound too good for you does it? But at the same time you're still not willing to face me one on one like the fighting champion you should be. So I may have gone and talked to the higher ups and I have such a special surprise for you Madison! We ARE going to have a match, at long last..



*The crowd begins to cheer as Mickie looks out with a smirk and then back to Madison.*



[Mickie James] And not only are we having a match, it's going to be at a very special show by the name of The Monster Bash. Oh, and you want to know the best part about all of this? Your title is going to be on the line! *The fans pop at the mention of Madison's newly made defense against Mickie.* At The Monster Bash there will be no attacks from behind, there will be no running away. It's just going to be you and me in the ring and we're going to settle this and when the dust is settled you're going to be looking at the new Divas Champion. So enjoy that title while you can because all you're doing for the next couple of weeks is keeping it warm for me, good luck champ!!

*Mickie lets out a sarcastic smile at her last comment as her theme song hits.*



*Madison gets up to her feet now holding her title as she shakes her head shouting "This is MINE!" She exits the ring and angrily makes her way up the ramp as we fade away to a video package.*
