XWL.com Exclusive: Kane and Randy Orton to "End it" at Final Stand V RTjfbcf
Can Randy Orton stop the monster, or will Kane "end" him once and for all?

It’s official. Randy Orton vs Kane has been signed for Final Stand V next week by Breakdown GM, who took a break from the Kevin Steen situation to address this rivalry. “This thing between these two needs to end, brother,” said the General Manager. “They’d kill each other if they don’t end it at Final Stand." And perhaps the GM is right? These two have been at each other’s throats for over a month now, literally! Then this past week on Redemption Kane suffocated Orton with his glove in the catering area, and the only reason why he stopped was to save something for Final Stand V.

Ever since returning at Uprising, Kane has targeted the “Viper.” He made his intentions clear at the pay-per-view as he attacked Orton and nearly crushed his throat with a steel chair. He told Randy he was back to prove that he still is the monster he used to be. He basically proved it when he laid out his rival with ease at the pay-per-view, but that wasn’t good enough for him. He targeted Randy’s hall of fame father, “Cowboy” Bob Orton. He kidnapped him a month ago and held him hostage for a week, torturing the legend. He warned Randy that he was the only one who could save his father, and gave him the opportunity to do so on Breakdown. He brought Bob Orton out to the ring, but when Randy tried to save him, he was ultimately defeated by the “Big Red Monster.” To add insult to injury, Kane hit Bob with the Tombstone Piledriver.

Even that wasn’t enough for Kane, however. He wants to break Randy Orton both mentally and physically. Some would say he’s already accomplished that, but some would argue the “Viper” is just getting ready to unleash his fury on his rival. This is perhaps best supported by his vicious assault on Kane two weeks ago on Breakdown when he drove ten chair shots into his spine, only stopping because the chair was too damaged to be used any further. It is still clear that Kane has succeeded in getting into the third generation superstar’s head. He lurked in Orton’s shadow for weeks, only striking when he felt the time was right. This has gotten to Orton, evident by when he punted Rey Mysterio in the skull after their match while imagining Kane’s head on his body.

Kane may have gotten into Randy’s mind, but now he wants to test his limits. He wants to see how far he can push Randy before he “breaks” him at Final Stand. (His words, not mine.) He told Randy he wants a physical challenge from him, and Orton has met him for a fight on more than one occasion, but Kane is not satisfied with that. Even with the vicious assault from the steel chair, Kane brushed that attack off and told Randy he had yet to phase him. He gave him another “opportunity” this past week on Redemption, but once again Kane came out on top after suffocating him with his claw like maneuver, as we discussed earlier. Will Randy Orton finally be able to step up to plate at Final Stand and give Kane the fight he craves so badly?

The Georgia Dome better be prepared when these two finally clash one on one at Final Stand V next week. The bad blood between these two have been boiling now for over a month, and both men have something to prove. Kane wants to prove he still is the “True Monster of XWL” and that he can break Randy Orton, but Orton wants to prove he has not lost his killer instinct. Besides that, Randy Orton is also fighting for his family name and his livelihood when he steps into the ring with Kane on March 24th. Will Orton be pushed to his limit, or will he finally defeat the monster? Will Kane put an end to his rival, or has he really become a mortal man? Order Final Stand V in pay-per-view on March 24th to find out. Don’t miss it!

A little preview for Randy Orton versus Kane that I wrote up for fun. I thought this would be a different way to announce the match and was a useful way to recap the feud and get people excited. (Since no one reads promos, smh.)
