International Incident transitions to a video. At first, we see red text that reads...


Earlier This Week


The video begins playing as we see a large banner of Shinsuke Nakamura. It looks as if the banner is advertising Nakamura's involvement for International Incident.





It would seem as if this video is to highlight the week of Japanese sensation, Shinsuke Nakamura. The video transitions away from the banner and into a clip, showing what looks to be a radio host and Nakamura.





[Shinsuke Nakamura]
"国際的なインシデントは、大きな案件であることを示す表示の並べ替えが表示された場合は、私は文字通りの通りの下のグループ熱狂的なファンや記者に追われた。"
("If it gives any sort of indication that International Incident is a big deal, I was literally chased down the street by a group rabid fans and reporters.")


The radio host and Nakamura share a brief laugh.





[Radio Host]
"熱狂的なファンたちの話すことは、大きな一致があります。 ここでは、を参照してください一致したい場合は移動する必要がありますか?"
("Speaking of rabid fans, you have a big match coming up. Where should they go if the want to see that match?")





[Shinsuke Nakamura]
"それは、依頼する必要がありおかしい、と一致する右ここ東京で行われるため! 東京ドームにもします。 最後は私が聞いた、チケット高速行っていた。 そこにチケットなしで誰でもできるように、可能な限りすぐに取得します。 町では、最もチケットのと私は約束しています...失望することはありません。"
("Well it's funny you should ask, because that match takes right here in Tokyo! In the Tokyo Dome as well. The last I heard, tickets were going fast. So anyone out there without a ticket, get one as soon as possible. It's the hottest ticket in town and I promise... you won't be disappointed.")

The video fades into another clip. This time, we see Nakamura walking into what seems to be an office type setting.





We see excited Shinsuke Nakamura fans as the hold signs. It looks as if these fans are winners of some sort of "Meet Nakamura"-ish contest. They hold up signs for him as he walks toward them.





Being the playful guy he is, Nakamura acts as if he is going to walk past the group of fans. At the last second, he makes a sharp turn and faces them. Nakamura shows a smile on his face, as he appreciates the admiration of his fans.





The clip skips forward, showing Nakamura taking pictures with the group of fans.






The video flashes and we see what looks to be one of the pictures taken with the fans.





The video takes a more personal turn as we see Nakamura doing what appears to be public speaking..

("Well here I stand today. I made it and caused those people to regret every negative word they ever spoke to me. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't make it, because if you just stay positive... you can do anything you put your mind to. Thank you.")


As clapping can be heard in the background, Nakamura takes a bow. The video then transitions into a forth clip. We see the mayor of Tokyo as he stands behind a podium. We cut into his speech.

("As the mayor of this great city, I hereby deem this week... Shinsuke Nakamura Week in the city of Tokyo.")


Clapping is heard as Nakamura walks up to the podium. He is greeted by the mayor and is handed an award.





After receiving the award, Nakamura turns toward the press who now begin to take his picture.





Camera shutters sound as Nakamura poses.





The video once again transitions to another clip. This time, we see Nakamura in the same suit from the award ceremony. He begins to speak.

("As you can see, I have bags under my eyes. This could mean one of two things and seeing I don't do drugs, it must mean that I've had a busy week. As you've just seen, my week has been packed with meeting fans, going on radio and television shows, talking to children, getting a week named in my honor.... blah, blah, bah... Basically, the usual when you're Shinsuke Nakamura.")

I haven't decided what movie I plan to watch, nor does it really matter... as I'm sure my wife will just choose it for me, then complain about me falling asleep during the opening credits. Yeah,... it's that kind of relationship. Well, enough about my personal life. You people probably have something better to do than listen to me ramble on about nothing. Go outside or something... I don't know.")

International Incident transitions to it's next segment of the evening.

We're live in The Tokyo Dome, the very location that hosts XWL's first ever event in Japan! Tonight is history making, tonight is all about excitement, and XWL is going to bring all the drama, all the championship turmoil, on this one night. You've got grudges, every title on the line, and  a Main-Event that couldn't be more perfect. Japan's own Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura left Japan and vacated his championship to join the roster of XWL, to make a name for himself...and months later, to be in The Main-Event back in his home country, fighting for The World Heavyweight Championship is without a doubt a dream moment that has become a reality. But will he defeat John Cena and make this truly the greatest night of his career, or even his life? The Main-Event will have all of Japan rooting for Nakamura, but John Cena is known for overcoming the odds and while he may have a new attitude...that doesn't change the fact that he can do anything when he sets his mind to it. So while he heads into tonight's show as public enemy number one...he will not let that title leave his hands so easily, especially not after fighting to be the champion again for over three years...But that's later tonight, there's still so much more to come before then, and one of those things is an appearance by XWL's "new" Queen, Layla. She's backstage doing her own makeup, giving Janet a lucky break from having to deal with her antics.





While she's not set to compete tonight, Layla's no doubt looking to get back in the title hunt after a month that's seen her all over the place. From pitted between top superstars CM Punk and Fandango, to targeting and eliminating a diva hopeful in Athena, and then defeating AJ Lee, and Nikki Bella the last two weeks. Layla is making a claim that she's the best, and with evidence like that, it's hard to argue it. Especially after last week's confrontation with Nikki Bella, which saw both divas show how personal their differences really are. Even a year removed from their slammy award winning diva rivalry of the year, they still can't stand one another and boy did it show. Layla wanted to show Nikki who the "true" queen was, and after each diva made the other bow to them, we were set to witness a true clash of divas. But unlike their Queen of The Ring finale last year which saw Nikki take the crown, the rematch saw Layla succeed and she took "her crown." As if someone like Layla needed any more of a reason to be full of herself, right? Once her blush is just right, Layla puts the brush down and begins to admire herself, as you do...   

[Layla]
Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the true queen, of all? Oh it's you Layla, the history maker, the record breaker, the trend setter, the quintessential diva.

Oh great, now she's talking to herself, of course she's talking to herself...are we really surprised? 

[Layla]
Everyone wants you, everyone wants to be you, but there is only one Layla, and I'm...Simply...Flawless!

Okay seriously, this is what we're spending our television time on, a beyond full of herself woman that is legitimately talking to herself? Where's an advertisement for some fast food chain when you need it? Her conversation with "herself" ends and she then begins to practice her queenly wave, because that's a thing. You might think, oh come on...would somebody actually do that...but yes, and that somebody is Layla. She moves her hand inward and then outward  in an incredibly slow and ire inspiring way. The chick seriously thinks she's now the Queen of XWL because she beat last year's Queen of The Ring, I mean sure...it was a great match, a close one, and she won...BUT GET OVER YOURSELF. Somewhere off screen someone can be heard stiffling a giggle. Layla spins around to find her apparent new bestie, Madison Rayne, covering her mouth, trying to hide her laughter.

[Madison Rayne]
So, what exactly are you doing?

This never gets old, does it? One bitch, snickering at another bitch, while both of which, are in fact friends, who talk bad about each other. Women, am I right? Layla's obviously embarrassed at the fact someone saw her doing all of that...so what does she do? Pretend she was fixing one of her bangs, because she has telekinetic powers obviously.

[Layla]
Hey girl, I was waiting on you, duh. I knew the next Divas Champion would be stopping by sooner or later, a girls got to look her best on the night she captures The Divas Championship for the first time, right?

[Madison Rayne]
Don't worry, I always look my best.

Cocky much? Madison smiles though, knowing what she saw when she came into the room.

[Madison Rayne]
And to me, it looked a lot like you were-

Suddenly, someone bursts into the room, causing Madison and Layla to turn around.

[Madison Rayne]
Josh?

Ah, the lover boy. Josh Matthews stands, panting with a bundle of flowers in his hand. Layla crosses her arms as Rayne stares, dumbfounded.

[Madison Rayne]
What are you doing here, this area is for women only.

[Josh Matthews]
Look, I know but, I just really had to talk to you.

Josh doubles over, grabbing his knee as he pants heavily.

[Josh Matthews]
I never thought I'd catch up with you.

Josh sighs, then drops down to one knee, holding out the flowers.

[Josh Matthews]
Madison, I wanted to get this off my chest before anyone thought I said this because you were the women's champion. Will you please, do me the honor, of being my girlfriend?

Madison looks like she could cry, and Layla appears to be bored.

[Layla]
Oh brother.

Obviously, Layla sees this just like everyone else sees it: cheesy.

[Layla]
Get up, do you seriously think she's just going to jump into your arms because you bought her flowers?

Madison's eyes lit up the second she saw the flowers, so technically yes, yes he does...but Layla being the great friend that she is, sees something different, or I guess assume she knows best? Madison did interfere with her relationship issues with Fandango weeks ago, so is this spiteful revenge in frenemy form? Or does Layla just assume that Josh is a joke, and so of course Madison wouldn't waste a second with him, even if Layla herself was messing around with someone that could in fact be called a joke himself.  

[Layla]
Sorry Joshy boy, too little too late.

The British Beauty swipes the flowers out of his hands, gives them one very quick look and throws them down onto the floor before stomping on them like they owed her money. Madison's expression changes, upset that her flowers were mistreated but she's going to have another reason to be upset soon. Because after doing so Layla then grabs Josh by his shirt collar, and jerks him over to the exit. He tries to plead with Layla to let him have a word with Madison, but ultimately fails and heads out of the door, head hanging  low to the ground as a heart broken man. Layla dusts her hands off then smiles, but Madison doesn't mirror the same feeling or expression her "friend" now has.

[Layla]
No need to thank me hun, just think of it as me returning the favor.

[Madison Rayne]
Nobody really asked you to-

[Layla]
Well much like you two weeks ago, I saw a friend in need so I stepped in. Honestly Madison, you're heading into your Divas Championship crowning moment tonight, Josh would have jeopardized that. Men are nothing but trouble and the second you hung up that phone, I was free. Look at me, the last two weeks I've been unbeatable. The way I see it, you need to kick that loser to the curb so I did that for you.

Madison stands, almost in awe as her so called "friend" tells her what to do. She then, grows an obviously fake smile, getting back to her natural bitchy self.

[Madison Rayne]
Of course. I mean, what do I know about my own love life? At least my so called "loser" wasn't some dancing weirdo.

Layla looks appalled for a moment, unable to respond.

[Madison Rayne]
Chasing after a girl who talks to herself in the mirror.

Ooh. Shots fired.

[Layla]
Well at least my "dancing weirdo" knew how to be a man and not grovel at someone's feet like a pathetic putz.

Ouch, shots fired right back at Madison and she can't believe Layla just said that.

[Layla]
Begging some wannabe queen to make him her king.

The irony is almost too much...almost...sure Madison didn't just beat the 2013 Queen of The Ring Winner and never won the tournament herself, and refers to herself as a queen...but still one victory over last year's "queen" doesn't suddenly make you the new queen.

[Madison Rayne]
Wannabe queen!? The only thing you're queen of is terrible dancing.

Now it's getting heated as Layla steps away from the mirror, stepping up to Rayne.

[Layla]
Oh, so that's how it's going to be? At least I don't walk around here with a stupid sash over my shoulder like some prissy little pageant girl. I'll take curing world hunger and having world peace for a hundred, Alex.

Madison's jaw slightly drops but that doesn't slow her down from insulting Layla.

[Madison Rayne]
I'd rather walk around with a sash rather than dancing just to please the boys. By the way, when are you and Kelly going to get back together to dance like the whores you are?

[Layla]
The minute you go back to being the ugly runt of not so Beautiful People!

It's gotten real in the make-up department as Layla and Madison both stand, hands on their hips, tensions high. Both of which are staring angrily at each other as Madison goes again.

[Madison Rayne]
You want to talk about ugly just look at what you're we-

Her eyes look down to look at what Layla is wearing when something catches her eye.

[Madison Rayne]
Oh, my, gosh... Where did you get your outfit from? It is really cute!

Wait, what? Did Madison seriously go from an onslaught of insults...to complimenting Layla's outfit? How the hell does that even happen? How does that even make sense? Apparently instead of finding Layla's outfit of choice "ugly" Madison finds herself actually loving it.  

[Layla]
Don't change the subject, I...

Madison grabbing at Layla's blouse admiring it, leads Layla to see Madison's own stunning manicure that seems to be a perfect match to The Divas Championship. They even have little studs on each nail, good to see her priorities were in check...Layla grabs Madison's hand and yes, that too just happened.

[Layla]
Oh my god, these nails will look amazing wrapped around The Divas Championship.

She smiles in admiration at Madison's nails then to two share a quick chuckle that ends in a shared warm smile. I'll take, what the hell just happened for a thousand, Alex.

[Layla]
Speaking of which, they should just hand that belt over to you now and get it over with it. You've got the far from fashionable Fox, the separation anxiety case Bayley, and one of the boys Madison Eagles. Like, on what planet are they fit to hold my, I mean your....title.

[Madison Rayne]
Do you really mean that?

Layla nods, smiling at her bestie. Then, Rayne giggles.

[Layla]
What's so funny?

[Madison Rayne]
"One of the boys."

The two share a quick laugh at the expense of Madison Eagles then they share a look of friendship. My, how the tables have turned.

[Madison Rayne]
I uh, I gotta go and get warmed up for my match. Stay flawless girl.

Rayne winks at her friend, and then leaves the room, leaving Layla to her own devices. Who of course, by all accounts should go back to practicing her queenly wave, but instead...a devious smile comes across her face, and she stands with both hands now at each side of her waist. Is she imagining The Divas Championship? Or does she just love how tone she's looking? She is quite full of herself, so she could just be admiring her physique, but...something tells us she's got her eye on The Divas Championship that she wants back around her waist. This is one complicated friendship, but hey, women...right?  

We're taken backstage where Bobby Roode is sat, flipping through a deck of cards. The room is dim, the scar over Roode's left eye from where Drew drove the steel chair into his face is covered by a black hat. He clears his throat, now alert that there's a camera in the room with him.



The IT Factor
So here we are, Drew. International Incident, Tokyo, Japan. Tonight, you and I go one on one in that very ring, in front of thousands of people. Tonight, we make history, we're a part of the very first XWL pay-per-view in Japan! Drew . . . I'm not worried about you the same way that I'm not worried about the monster under my sons bed. It's a myth, a lie . . . It's not REAL. Just like you, buddy. Like I said when we first met, Drew, you don't have what it takes to succeed in this business. You don't have the IT factor. Not like I do, not even close. You're never going to be a World champion, never. Much to the disappointment of Mr. McMahon.



The IT Factor
Me? I've been a World champion, I've been atop the mountain. I have that IT factor that just makes me heads and tails better than you! You said it yourself, nobody remembers you . . . Nobody CARES about you! You're not the chosen one, McIntyre, not anymore. But the truth is, you never really were. The only thing you'll ever be remembered for is the guy that Vince McMahon ONCE had a hard on for. The guy with ONE lousy Intercontinental championship reign. You'll simply be . . . The forgotten one!



The It Factor
Actually, you'll be known for one more thing. You'll be known as the guy who got his ass handed to him by Bobby Roode at International Incident! And hopefully, after tonight, you'll once again fade into obscurity. Hopefully, you won't come back this time. I'll make sure of it. After tonight, Drew, you won't want to come back. So Vince, Stephanie, if you're watching this, I'M your chosen one. Because I'm the IT factor of professional wrestling! Drew McIntyre . . . He's just a bad joke.



Bobby lowers his head and once again begins to shuffle the deck of cards. He looks back up for a brief moment then continues on, letting out a small sigh.

The IT Factor
I'm done.

The audience in the jam packed Tokyo Dome welcomes the start of Layla's theme just as everyone back home in America would, with boos. This woman has earned a reputation, so much so that people who have never seen her in person, are now booing her. Though they did get a taste of Layla's "character" earlier in the show when she had a little chat with a mirror, and Madison Rayne. We learned that, her victory over last year's Queen of The Ring Winner has, as well as every accomplishment she's ever had always does, has inflated her ego drastically. For it is now so large that she thinks she's suddenly our "queen."




Our "Queen" steps out onto the stage, theatrically moving in a more refined way, though not a traditional refined, a more over the top version of it. She dons a "No Pictures" T-shirt, as all members of royalty often do...and motions both hands to an invisible crown at the top of her head. She's really going all out with this isn't she? Layla makes sure that her "crown" is in place, then in a very slow manner, I mean...VERY SLOW she begins to move her left hand inwards and outwards as she goes down the ramp slower than The Undertaker. So you know that's freaking slow, to somehow make your way down the ramp even slower than The Undertaker. Layla's adoring public greets her with boos, but peasants often do, right? Her smile lights up the rampway as she continues down it, waving the whole way down.


[King]
Oh boy, here comes my queen!

[JR]
Oh come on King, not you too.

[Michael Cole]
Jerry she's real royalty, you just carry a crown with you all the time that doesn't make you a King.


[King]
Well just because you sit there in a fancy suit every night doesn't mean that you're not still a jackass!

[JR]
Okay gentlemen, we didn't travel all the way to Japan just for you two to bicker the entire time.


Layla reaches the end of the ramp, then ends her annoying as hell waving to do something equally as annoying. She grabs the end of an also nonexistent skirt and curtsys before the Japanese fans. Is she really doing this, really? First she's some side kick, then a bigger bitch than Michelle ever was, then a history maker, then a "reformed" good girl, then someone's dance partner, and now...NOW SHE'S A QUEEN!? Oh Layla your antics know no end, do they? She turns the corner and walks up the steel steps, but of course not normally...she goes one step at a time, one foot at a time. Until she reaches the ring where she stops. But why is she stopping? Well why else? She motions for one of the ring crew members to join her on the apron, they seem confused as they're often background members of the show...but once he walks over to her she looks at the ropes...and yes, she wants him to hold them down to allow her entry. It just gets better, doesn't it? Rolling his eyes, he does his job and pulls up on the ropes while standing on the bottom one, and she enters the ring.

[JR]
Well Layla's really embracing this whole queen thing I'll say that much.

[Michael Cole]
As should everyone, she defeated last year's Queen of The Ring so that of course makes her this year's winner, who needs a tournament when you've got a talent like her to take the crown?


[King]
So long as she and I can share a throne I don't mind!

[JR]
I'm sure you don't, King.


Retrieving a microphone, proving she's able to actually do something like walk all the way over to the ropes to grab one...Layla centers herself in the ring and prepares to address "her" people.




[Layla]
Thank you, thank you...settle down now, your queen has something she'd like to say.


While they may be more respectful than your usual crowd, the fans still don't take too kindly to Layla's overbearing personality through just a few words.

[Layla]
Now I know you weren't supposed to be graced by my royal presence tonight, but...well, seeing as this is a historical occasion, I thought it was my duty as the history maker around here to make a selfless appearance for you, my public.




[Layla]
I know what you're thinking, how amazing is this woman, right? To give up some of her time to enlighten you, it's just so...admirable, isn't it? But I'm a humble woman, I may be your new queen...but that doesn't have to change anything. I'm normal, just like you...well, not entirely like you...because you know, I'm successful...don't fail at everything I do like, a large portion of you...and of course, I'm much more pleasing to the eye. But think not of our differences, and embrace what we do have in common. The fact you, much like myself, love me.

Oh brother, did she seriously just come out here to talk about hersel- of course she did...it's Layla, what else does she talk about?



[Layla]
See, while your majesty may not be competing tonight, this show needs me...I mean what are you supposed to be excited about? XWL is supposed to be giving you an experience like no other, and to that I say, look no further...than myself of course. For I am a diva that which can not be duplicated. I am the history maker, the record breaker, and yes...guilty as charged, the overachiever. I've done things that women back there, and competing here regularly might I add...would never be able to do. Step inside Hell in a Cell? Done it, won it....obviously, did anyone think I wouldn't win that?


Considering Japan is known for it's hard hitting men as well as their women they don't quite like Layla's remark about being better than them or saying they couldn't do the things she has. So the boos are quite louder than they were, but Layla does have that effect on people, mostly everyone that is.



[Layla]
What can I say? I'm a breed like no other, who else would do that, let alone...enter The Elimination Chamber? Not just enter it mind you, but win it...the first ever one, to feature women...I won that, incredible I know you don't need to say it. Okay go ahead, it is pretty remarkable.

Maybe Layla is hearing a different crowd than we are because there doesn't seem to be any praise getting directed her way, far from it actually...




[Layla]
I've proven what it means to be Divas Champion, to take on all comers, to excel at everything I do...so while Madison Eagles might be defending against Bayley, Madison Rayne, and Alicia Fox later on in the evening...we can all agree, that no matter who leaves this ring with that title, they'll just hand it over to me soon enough anyways. Because many can say they've been Divas Champion...even one of your a famed, Kana...


The reaction noticeably picks up right as one of their very well known women's wrestlers is brought up. Kana had a short stint in XWL, making a mark by winning The Divas Championship in her debut match.

[Layla]
Yes, lovely Kana...whatever happened to her? Last I heard she got some fluke over some amazing wrestler, and lost her Divas Championship fifteen minutes later...The poor thing just couldn't take the great dishonor she brought on all of you, and fled the company never to be heard from again. Guess she's what you call a walking talking definition to fifteen minutes of fame, huh?

Oh no she didn't, they boo obviously at her uncalled for insult at Kana, but then again...she is the woman that upset Layla ending her long running reign as champion, only to have hers ended in the shorter time thanks to it being a gauntlet. Layla knew what she was saying would upset them, yet she said it anyways, that's our bitchy queen for ya.



[Layla]
I knew you'd agree. But she, just like others may have held The Divas Championship...but they never defined what it meant to truly be called a champion. But it's inarguable to say that I didn't, because who among the division has made a mark like I have? Has competed in matches you'd never think possible, has done things far outside the reach of all imagination? I'll tell you who, nobody. Because I'm a star, that shines nightly, that shines brightly among my dull prospects. Don't get me wrong, I love each and every one of my fellow divas, but it's just not a contest, because like...I'd win every time if it were. They try to be original, and do great things, but well...without being rude, when it comes to me...there's none better.




Before Layla has a chance to go on and on...and on...and on and on and on and on...about how great she is anymore, a strange theme we've never heard before hit's the P.A. Immediately all eyes turn to the stage, including the confused eyes of Layla. The screen lights up, and one name appears in bold text..."Athena" Layla's jaw drops, the crowd gets a little more excited, sure she only had one appearance in XWL...but anyone would be welcomed with open arms if they were gonna interrupt this nonsense.


[JR]
Bah gawd, am I reading that right? Athena's here!?

[Michael Cole]
What the...how'd someone like her even afford the flight!?

[King]
That's just mean, Cole...she'd have been no doubt competing here if it hadn't been for Layla spoiling her debut last month.

[JR]
And would you just look at her face, that tells you all you need to know...she did not expect this.

Athena's name repeatedly flashes on the screen, the theme filling the air, building the anticipation...while Layla starts to lose it. She looks right, left, and spins around...is she coming from the crowd? Is she coming from the stage? Where the hell is she? Layla knows she's got a beating coming after what she did, and no doubt she thought she took care of her...but apparently this young lady is a lot tougher than she gave her credit for. Layla screams "Where are you?!" in a shrilled angry tone...but then a devilish laughter follows as the musics ends.



[Layla]
Oh, that's right...in the hospital bed, I put you in! Did you really think a nobody like her would show up? She's no exception, she couldn't hold a candle to me, and I proved that at Digital Decision when I gave her a specialized welcome, into...and OUT of my division. See, Stephanie tried to find a star to be what she wants, when really..it was here all along, so a little word of advice to all of you, and everyone back there...




[Layla]
Don't try to steal my spotlight, because I've proven to be the greatest diva to ever step foot into this company, or any other...so accept your role as my supporting cast, and we'll all get along just fine. That's where Athena screwed up, she came in all guns blazing as the diva backed by the great Stephanie McMahon, but when she came face to face with me...she fizzled out never to be heard from, again... Which is why Nikki, Madison, Bayley, Alicia, Brie, Candice, Summer, Lita...whoever you are, you need to get yourselves in line sweethearts, because that championship...is coming home, where it belongs.


One thud later, and the microphone hits the mat, Layla placing both hands at her side, motioning that the title will soon be hers. Big talk, and a big threat to the four hopefuls that want to leave this arena as Divas Champion tonight. Will they be met with Layla as a challenger when all is said and done, or will Layla finally be punished for what she did to Athena last month? Well she didn't punish her the last three weeks...so, unless Stephanie's been trying to think of the perfect punishment, that's not likely. Layla leaves the ring and begins to stroll up the ramp, the fans none too pleased with her, but she doesn't give a damn.


[JR]
A bit of a low blow there, teasing Athena's injury...rubbing salt into the wound that she of course wouldn't be here after what Layla did to her last month.


[Michael Cole]
Obviously people think they know everything and think that Athena would magically recover and get her revenge but sorry kiddies this isn't story time, this is the real world.

[King]
I know but it just feels like Athena was just a young hopeful that had worked so hard to finally land a contract for a huge place like XWL...and then it was all snatched from her by someone that really took a great offense to her being here.

][JR]
We've seen it before...but, it doesn't make it any easier no matter how many times it happens.

[King]
You said it, JR.


Japan's been introduced to Layla, the overconfident, boisterous, and arrogant diva that's made a lasting impression in this industry, and much like everywhere else...it's just a bit too much for them. It's one thing to think highly of yourself but boy, does she take the cake. The whole cake, a scoop of ice cream, and a glob of chocolate syrup. Layla ascends to the top of the stage, turning to the face crowd with that same arrogance all over her face. Motioning once more that she's coming for The Divas Championship, Layla isn't one to beat around the bush, she's making a claim to wanting a title shot, and with a few recent victories under her belt, and guts like hers, she could be in line for just that.

[King]
Yes, please, give her the title, a crown and this engagement ring!!

To bring the segment full-circle, the ever-so-gracious Brit raises her right arm into the air and slowly turns her wrist from side to side in a wave reserved for only those in royalty – a club that Layla has shamelessly interjected herself in without input from the people she’s “ruling” over. XWL’s Queen basks in the reception she’s garnered from the rustled Japanese fans, showing them a thousand-wattage smile that could only be birthed by a woman as deluded and self-obsessed as Layla is. In her mind these International fans aren’t booing her because of her holier-than-thou attitude or her condescending manner of speaking, how could it be? This hatred could only be born as a result of some raw jealousy festering within them because they’ll have never accomplished what she has, and the chances are as high as Jerry Lawler getting married and divorced before the year is through that they never will.

[JR]
Doesn’t she see that nobody is waving back? These fans didn’t exactly come all this way just to see her.

Inexplicably the fans begin to cheer.

[Michael Cole]
You were saying?

The change in attitude towards the woman who was kind enough to grace them with her presence is so sudden that even Layla is caught off guard – that fact evident in the way he stops waving for the briefest of seconds and her eyes widening in a look of surprise – but being the incomparable professional that she is, it isn’t too long until her composure is restored and she’s back to where she was moments before, waving and smiling and this time she’s even throwing in a couple of “thank yous” doing all she can to make the unwashed masses not feel foolish for taking so long to come around and see things from her perspective.

[King]
This must be like a dream come true for her! Make my dreams come true, Layla!

Layla blows them a kiss, giggling with glee at the love and adoration being thrown her way in excess – Japanese fans truly know how to make a woman feel special. She’s acting like she never wants to leave the arena and who can blame her – when was the last time she was actually cheered, much less tolerated by the proud, passionate collection of people who comprise the almighty XWL Universe? However, finally, mercilessly, Layla takes one more dramatic curtsey, one more second to bask in this marvelous reception, before finally making her way out of the arena by backing up, gifting the fans a longer look at her flawless face before they have the misfortune to gaze upon the stomach-upsetting, vomit-inducing features of the other divas.

[JR]
This has to set some kind of record for basking in adoration that isn’t directed towards you.

Something in Layla’s path halts her in her steps, hindering her progress in exiting the arena. Layla scrunches up her face in anger, then screams out while spinning on her heels to face the mystery person, “I thought I told you to stay away fr-” The anger dissolves on her face instantaneously when she sees that it’s neither Fandango nor CM Punk, as a matter of fact it’s not even a man. Layla’s look of pure horror is fitting because it’s none other than the woman she left for dead last month: Athena!

[Michael Cole]
NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Layla stammers attempting to try to find the perfect words to quell Athena’s burning desire to exact vicious, merciless and much-deserved revenge but nothing aside from gibberish pours through her mouth as once silver tongue becomes as impressive and valuable as cubic zirconium. The Beautiful Brit eventually closes her month, conceivably fearful that her heart, which has leapt into her throat in the moment of shock, may just fly right out of her body. A pleasing thought for much of the members of the XWL Universe, though there’s a chance Madison Rayne would be sad to see Layla go – at least she might be.

[King]
I can’t help but agree, Cole; now I don’t know who to give the ring to!

On the other hand, Athena doesn’t appear to be out here to exchange pleasantries. With the crowd booming in the background, her words will be hard to hear anyway. So she lets her body do the talking. Athena’s lips curl upwards in a smile – happy to see Layla caught off guard like this more so than happy to see Layla in general – then she raises her right arm into the air not only to show that her shoulder has never been better, but also to wave her hand in a queen-like manner as she mocks Layla! XWL’s self-proclaimed Queen doesn’t take kindly, letting Athena’s taunting get under her skin. Word finally come to her as she starts a sentence with the goal of mocking, berating and hurting Athena, but the woman looking her dead in the eye is gunning for a more physical kind of pain and she makes her intentions clear by taking a huge swing at Layla who just barely ducks under it.[b]

It looks like Athena hasn’t forgotten what Layla did to her and business has just picked up, folks! Layla evaded that haymaker by the skin of her teeth.

As Athena rears back for a second punch Layla’ scrambles backstage where she thinks she’ll be safe but that’s a pipe dream now because Athena is right behind her giving chase and who knows what will happen if she gets her hands on her target? It’s a heavenly thought that may have been running through her mind during the three weeks of hell she had to endure rehabbing the shoulder that nearly ended her career last year. As the action leaves the arena, the fans can be heard breaking out into a chant of Athena’s name, it’s no surprise as there’s nothing to like about Layla outside of her looks and once she begins to speak somehow even that is spoiled. Athena is the closest thing they have to a savior right now and they’re beyond ecstatic that she’s back because beyond proving how resilient she is, her reemergence back into the fray means that ultimately Layla didn’t get what she wanted.

[Michael Cole]
Run, Layla, run! Don’t let that rookie make a name off of you!

The cameras are hot on the tail of Athena as she runs down Layla who got quite the head start on her, but there’s no chance in the world that Athena’s just going to give up now. No, she picks up the pace, pumping her arms and putting more power into each step as she breaks out into a sprint, quickly closing ground and nearly about to pounce like a lion hunting a gazelle. Athena turns a corner and trips over Layla’s body as what the multi-time Diva’s champion lacks in raw athleticism and speed she makes up for in savvy and it shows there. What she may not have expected, however, is Athena quickly popping right back up to her feet and gone from Layla’s face is the look of pride and back again is the look of fear we’re slowly grown accustomed to seeing.

[King]
Whatever you do, please don’t hit her in the face!

Athena begins taking steps in Layla’s direction, relishing in the opportunity presented to her, while Layla is almost crab walking to keep some space between the two. Finally, Athena gets tired of toying, tired of being played, tired of hindering the inevitable and lunges forward, grabbing hold of Layla’s ankle. Layla lets loose with a shrill shriek that surprisingly doesn’t deafened Athena and as Athena begins pulling on that ankle, Layla pulls off her boot and throws it, hitting Athena smack-dab in the face. It looks like the heel nearly caught Athena in the eye and she drops into a sitting position while blinking repeatedly to ensure that she hasn’t been blinded.

[JR]
What a heel.

Getting off the ground, Athena surveys the scene but this particular arena has been jettisoned of Layla’s presence. Angrily, Athena picks the boot off the ground then flings it at the nearest wall with as much force as she can muster, again showing that her shoulder is all healed up and watching as the heel snaps off the boot must be therapeutic in a way but it can’t feel as good as it would have been to bash Layla’s pretty face in with her bare hands. Athena runs a hand over her hair to smooth it down after getting rustled by the wind during the enthralling foot-race. She begins pacing back and forth in the backstage area trying to figure out what to do next now that Layla is gone in the wind, unlikely to resurface again anytime soon and most definitely not anywhere close to where Athena is lurking.

[Michael Cole]
Thank goodness she got away. We were moments away from this show being irreversibly ruined.

Footsteps are heard shuffling down the hall way, and Athena’s head turns to the direction the noise is emanating from thinking that the impossible has occurred and Layla has returned for round two, but the figure who enters the frame is Josh Mathews. He’s out of breath, and Athena patiently waits for him to catch his breath to see what he wants.

[Josh Mathews]
That Layla is something else, huh? What a bi – itter old hag she is. Anyway, Athena I was sent here to see what’s on your mind. Between your debut being spoiled, you being missing in action for almost an entire month and nearly getting your hands on the woman you is responsible for everything that has gone wrong in your life since you became an XWL diva, you must have a lot to get off your chest.

Athena smiles as though she’s been waiting for the moment and planning just exactly what she would say were she to be asked how she feels about failing to thwart Layla’s attack when the whole world could see from a mile away that Layla wasn’t someone to ever be trusted.

[Athena]
You know, I've spent more time brushing tears out of my eyes over these last three long, long weeks than most people would be willing to admit - and trust me when I say that it wasn't because of how badly my shoulder was hurting for most of that time. The pain I felt from that was nowhere near as excruciating as the thought that I wouldn't be able to accomplish what I sacrificed seven years of my life to achieve. For the briefest of moments I was living my dream of being an XWL diva, but everything happened so fast that I didn't even have a second to stop and take it all in. At Digital Decision I was wearing the same ring attire I wore on the independent show the night before - it was barely dry after I stayed up all night to hand wash it; not that I would have been able to sleep anyway knowing that in less than 24 hours I would be competing in front of the largest crowd I had ever seen in person before!

It was truly the beginning of a rags to riches story before that rag was doused with gasoline and set ablaze.



[Athena]
I wasn't allowed in the locker room with all the other girls and they didn't even finish putting together my entrance music when it was time to make my in-ring debut - heck, I still haven't heard it yet, but I know for sure it won't make my ears bleed like that insult to music Layla was had the sound guys throw together for me out of the goodness of her heart. Oh, and did I mention how my hair and makeup was probably a mess since I had literally no time to spare? It was far from a picture-perfect first-impression... but I didn't care. I fantasized about getting to this company more than most women spend planning their weddings, but in my mind Athena and XWL was the only marriage that mattered and getting the opportunity to say I stood on the stage where so many greats have stood before was more than I could ever ask for.

Layla clearly had an objection to that marriage, preferring a more monogamous relationship with the company.



[Athena]
What I did care about was that the moment I earned and deserved to have was gone in the blink of an eye. I tried desperately to hold onto it but I might as well been trying to grab a fistful of water - it was hopeless and I have Layla to thank for robbing me of what should have been the greatest night of my wrestling career. I have Layla to thank for trying to end my career. I have Layla to thank for making me shed those tears. So thanks. While crying might be seen by some as a sign of weakness, each drop of water that slid down my face only confirmed the passion I have for wrestling and to be sidelined for as long as I have been was devastating. I want to be here for as long as I can be performing in front of fans from The USA to Japan. There have been no shortage of people who have come to XWL long enough to get a cup of coffee as if competing here is just something to mark off on checklist, I didn't want to be known as one of those people. I couldn't let that one night be my legacy.

A legacy where she didn’t even get her full fifteen minutes of fame.



[Athena]
Through those tears I saw the truth: maybe I was weak. I was so concerned about stepping on toes that I let Layla waltz up and stomp on mine. Forget about crying, not standing up for myself last month was the true sign of weakness; I should have done then what I tried to do tonight and that's knock Layla off that high-horse so that she stops looking down on everybody and disrespecting them as she sees fit. I've had a lot of time to think about what you did to me - when I close my eyes I can clearly see you kicking my shoulder when it was pressed against that post, but as much as I'd love to put all the blame on you, a lot of what went down that night was my fault. Tonight was the beginning of my road to redemption - I have a lot of wrongs to make up for and by the time I'm through people will see that I'm not a pushover or anyone's stepping stone - more importantly than that, though, I'm not afraid of you, Layla.

They say there’s nothing quite like first impressions and Athena is going to have to do a lot to shake the image of her trying to make peace with Layla instead of spilling her blood.



[Athena]
The funny thing is that I wasn't even supposed to be here tonight. Believe it or not, if there's anybody that's afraid in this whole soap opera it's none other than our esteemed General Manager Stephanie McMahon. After The BFFs fell apart she's been terrified of someone rubbing in her face the fact that her next pet-project didn't go as exactly as she hoped it would either. I never asked for Stephanie to hype me up to the moon because my track record speaks for itself and it was only a matter of time before I proved her right, regardless. She may have been kind enough to reimburse me for all the medical expenses, but every time I brought up getting a flight here to International Incident she always had some excuse for why it was better for me to stay home. “Oh Athena, your shoulder might not be 100%. All the flights out of America are booked solid. You might not like the food. If you asked me I was home long enough and if I spent another second in that place I would have gone stir-crazy. There was just too much that needed to be done and none of it could be accomplished from my couch.

Some people would have been content with just being in XWL for as long as Athena was, but not many of them had as much reason to make a return as she had.



[Athena]
So instead of waiting for Stephanie to act, I took charge of my career and paid for the flight here out of my own pocket because if I missed this show I would have never been able to forgive myself. August 15th - August 15th - August 15th - it was my mantra; it was my motivation; it was my reason for getting up in the morning on those days when my shoulder hurt so badly that I couldn't even pick up a toothbrush with that arm. You hurt me, Layla, badly, and I doubt there's any part of you that feels remorse. Well I doubt I will ever forgive you for what you did - I definitely won't ever forget it. You made a victim out of a woman who wanted nothing to do with you. As a matter of fact, I'm ashamed to admit this, but there was a point when I wanted you to respect me - to like me - but you have to sell your soul to be treated to something like that. I still have my soul, I'm very much still alive and it was worth every penny to get here and see the expression on your face - the look of someone who had just seen a ghost.

Sometimes you need to make sure the person is dead before walking away from what you think is a corpse.



[Athena]
What you actually saw was the face of the woman who is going to bring this empire of yours crashing down. You like to think of yourself as this company’s queen but what you don’t realize is that these people who worked their butts off to buy a ticket to be here tonight will never look to you for leadership or guidance. You’re wearing a tainted crown of thorns which I guess is helpful for poking little holes into your head to let the air out every once in a while. You’re not ruling with compassion and love but by anger and fear. You’re angry that that there are divas coming up who are threatening to take the spotlight you’ve been hogging for what feels like forever. Women like Bayley, women like me who these fans like and wish the best for and can stand being in the same room with for more than a couple of seconds. You’re afraid that if you don’t keep up these over-the-top antics that you’ll be forgotten or abandoned like Michelle McCool and Paige did, and that’s why you’ll never change because these people can’t cast aside somebody they despise as much as you, right?

It’s a lot easier to remember the bad someone has done to you more than the good and in Layla’s case there’s literally few good things she’s done and majority of them are hardly worth recalling.



[Athena]
What gets me is that no matter what, your accomplishments speak for themselves and no one can take them away from you. You’ve made history; you’ve done things that no other diva has done or will do, but that isn’t enough for you. You have to have it all. All the accolades and the attention, all the love of the people and it’s your own ego that will be your undoing. We could have coexisted in this company, we didn’t need to have any beef, but the thought of someone else showing up, making a name for herself and making history in her own right was too much for you to handle so you had to go out and do something about it. Now we have a problem, Layla, and I know that in the years you’ve been rustling feathers in this company you’ve made a lot of enemies, but I’m going to do everything I can to be the one that you regret. You’re holding on to that torch so tightly that your arms are shaking and your knuckles are turning white and please don’t think that I’m asking your permission to have it – I’m going to take it.

Power is something that is rarely just handed over and to seize the power that Layla wields it’s going to take a major effort.



[Athena]
That flame is going to burn out in your hands – I’ve watched it happen before in the small companies that I wrestled for peanuts in trying to get some buzz going for me. People who are too afraid to let the next generation take over, that they stifle the company in their old ways until it suffocates and dozens of people are forced to explain to their family why they couldn’t afford to bring home dinner that night. I’m not going to let you be the reason I go hungry, Layla and I’m through sleeping in my car to save a buck in between shows. I’m going to get my new attire, I’m going to get my entrance music and I’m going to get my page, or heck my own chapter, in XWL’s history book. You can’t hold back this kind of talent, Layla, because even though Stephanie went above and beyond she said two things that absolutely cannot be argued – that I’m young and that I’m athletic enough to put most men to shame – those are two things that no one will ever say about you – at least not anymore and then your motives for attacking me became crystal clear – it’s amazing what jealousy can push people to do.

There’s a reason why envy is one of the seven deadly sins.



[Athena]
You can brag about beating AJ Lee and Nikki Bella and whoever walks out as the diva’s champion tonight all you want, but there’s one opponent who you will never be able to beat and no, I’m not as arrogant as you are to say that opponent is me. When Father Time comes knocking there’s no amount of Layout’s and Facelift’s you can do to stop him from humbling you in the way that only age can, but until then it’s up to me to at least try. And don’t get my intentions wrong, this isn’t just about revenge. I’m doing this for every diva in this company and soon to become part of the family and all the fans that pay to watch premier diva’s wrestling. Layla, you may think you’re the glue, but because of your selfishness this division is being held together with duct tape. I didn’t scratch and claw for years and years and years just to have everything fall apart around me. I don’t want to be anyone’s punching bag; I don’t want to be a victim; I don’t want anyone to think that I’ll be easy pickings. What I want is for everyone to look at the things that I do and see that I always gave it my all until the bitter end and love me because of that not because I tell them too and that begins when I have my in-ring debut on Breakdown, which will be the beginning of something special. You may have had a lot of firsts in this company, but that doesn’t mean that somebody can’t come along and do it better the second time around.

Setting the precedent doesn’t make your actions immune to criticism.



[Athena]
And Layla, one of these weeks my opponent will be you and I know I’m not the only one looking forward to that day. This whole thing started when you deceived me into believing that you wanted to wrestle me in my first match…well I promise you I will wrestle you in your last. I listened to the things you were saying backstage until I couldn’t take it anymore and the most shocking thing is that I could see that you were holding back. You don’t think that you’re a queen, you think you’re a wrestling god and we have Kana to thank for you not having the reason you were searching for to grant yourself that title. I swear that I will never bow to you, but I what I will do is show you first hand why they call me Athena – I’m going to make art out of war.



The camera fades as Athena breaks out into a smile, confident in her abilities and each word that she has spoken – truly a far cry for the slightly timid woman who first stepped onto the scene around a month ago. She wants to revolutionize the business, she wants to be a star in this company, she wants to be one of the greatest to ever lace up a pair of wrestling boots and it would appear that the key to accomplishing any of those goals is in the elimination of one woman: Layla.

OMG!!!!!!! JIM!!!!!!!! COLE!!!!!!! Look who it is. Its James Storm. The Cowboy is back and it looks as if he has something to say.

Storm heads down the ramp gets into the ring and asks for a mic

Woo! Wooo! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This good ole cowboy is back. And what a better way to make a return then here at XWL'S International Incident. It has been six long months since i've been in an XWL ring. All the days that I was sitting at home thinking about how I let my family down. How I let my friends in the back down. And the people I let down the most were all of you in the XWL universe. I know the last time you guys seen me I wasn't fighting to big of people and I wasn't putting all my effort into my matches. I apologize to all of you guys, my friends, and my family. But by god you better believe that has changed. I am whole new cowboy now. But I promise from here on out that this cowboy will be ready to throwdown in the middle of this ring every
single night.



{James Storm}
This cowboy made is return tonight in Japan for several reasons. I returned to the XWL because I love what I do I love coming out to fight all of the guys in the back. I love coming out here every night performing and entertaining each and everyone of you fans. I love coming out and hearing you guys cheer Cowboy! Cowboy! Cowboy! The to most important reason was for all of you the XWL fans. And the most important reason to win championships but the most important championship in the XWL the championship that everyone is striving to win the XWL World Heavyweight Championship. I have not won one championship since I first started here. But thats all going to change starting next week. Starting next week i'm going to work hard not just for me but for all of you to become a champion but not just any kind of champion a fighting champion. One who will put his title on the line when ever someone wants a shot.



{James Storm}
This is going to be the greatest years for the cowboy. The rise of the cowboy. And its my time to shine in the spot light. Its the Cowboy James Storm time to rise up and become your XWL World Heavyweight Championship and this will happen sure enough.

This message goes out to everyone in the back friends and foes. I have return and i'm ready to fight. So who ever thinks that they are going to stand in my way of winning the world title is damn wrong. This cowboy will definatly be bring more then just a fight. Ill be bringing a whole can of whoop ass. And to my first opponent who ever you may be. If you think that you are going to step into this ring with the Cowboy James Storm and pin me ...1....2....3. Yeah they do but do you really think that Storm is ready for this I mean it has been awhile like he said but i dont think hes ready for this. The competion here is greater now. I think he's still the old James Storm that let the fans down before and he will do it again.

Cole well we are all going to just have to wait and see if that will actually happen he did promise the fans he changed.

Yeah King Just like he promised the fans that he'd be around for along time before and then disappeared a month later yeah we will see about that one.

The tron lights up, providing the only light in the arena…



Revealing to us The Eater of Worlds. He is whistling a song to himself as he looks down at a twig which he twirls in his hand. He looks up at the camera suddenly, and smiles. He then begins to sing to the same tune that he was whistling…

Mother Nature has a lot she is willing to teach us simple beings.. Yet instead of listening, the wolves chose to light a fire upon her and smile their crooked smiles while they watch her burn.. I will NOT allow that any longer.. In my brothers absence I have had time to think inside of MY OWN head. And in doing so I have come to realize that the time for action is here…. Bray snaps the twig in half, he puts the two broken pieces together and snaps them in half, he tries to put the four pieces together to snap, but they don't budge.

Bray drops a pebble into a large bucket of water, causing a ripple that spreads to the edges of the bucket.

Only needs the smallest of pebbles to create change.. The sheep…. They outnumber the wolves.. And the wolves know this.. And the wolves fear this… That is why they'd rather watch the seas turn to blood..

Bray drops something into the bucket of water, turning the water red.

Bray tosses the twigs into his lantern and watches sadly as it burns into nothingness..

Then allow you the power to change it for the better of mankind. For what benefits you, takes away from their back left pockets. And believe me children, they'd happily watch one thousand sheep die of starvation then lose just one dollar out of their wallets. They don't care about you, they only use you. It's been about an hour since Drew McIntyre and Bobby Roode had their brutal collision at International Incident. Drew, now dressed in his civilian attire, drags a suitcase behind him while patting his face with a damp towel. He approaches his car, one hand on the backseat door before he's caught off guard by Renee Young. She flags the chosen one down, coming up behind him as he releases the suitcase from his clutches.

Renee Young
Drew! Drew wait!

She says to him, now the two are face to face.

Renee Young
I just wanted to get your thoughts on the outcome of your match. You just-

Drew McIntyre
I just won. That's that, and now I'm going home.

Renee won't give up that easy, she places a hand on Drew's forearm, trying to stop him from leaving.

Renee Young
But wait-

McIntyre grabs her hand with his, not aggressively, but it's enough to let Young know he's not playing around.

Drew McIntyre
I said . . . I'm . . . Going . . . Home.

He lets go of her hand, smiling as he loads his suitcase into the backseat of his car. He then shuts the door closed, but as soon as he does he's greeted by the right hand of Bobby Roode! Roode has a bandage over his eye where his scar was reopened by Drew McIntyre during their match. It's blood seeped, Bobby clearly didn't spend too long with the doctors. Bobby lifts Drew up and slams him back first into the car door, McIntyre falling to the concrete. Again Roode does it, the air escaping from Drew's lungs. Renee watches from a distance, calling for help but it won't come soon enough. The IT Factor drags McIntyre over to the trunk of his own car, bouncing his head off of it twice in a row. Drew is now bleeding from his nose as Bobby drags him to the front of the car, picking him up and slamming him down onto the hood. Drew cries out in pain, but Roode is far from done. He gets up onto the hood with McIntyre and brings him to the roof, lifting Drew over his shoulders and positioning himself so that he can drop Drew with a Roode Bomb onto the hood! Bobby smiles, pausing for effect before he sends Drew flying down onto the hood, his head nearly going through the window! Roode examines the scene, licking his lips then jumping down to solid ground. He grabs Drew by his hair, getting in his face and with an angry tone saying,

You ain't going nowhere . . .

Bobby releases McIntyre, who's far from responding. Help now arrives, but the damage has been done. Roode backs up so that the doctors can get to Drew, Renee creeping up behind him.

Renee Young
Ugh, Bobby . . .

Bobby turns around, cocking a half smile and taking a deep breath.

I'M . . . Going home . . .

With that, Roode takes his leave, the camera zooming in on McIntyre as International Incident cuts to a hype video for the main event!

The camera cuts backstage where a pair of hands can be seen, rocking back and forth, the crowd cheers as an "X" can be seen clear as day drawn on the back of the hands meaning it can be only one man.



As the camera zooms out it reveals the man himself: CM Punk! Who is cracking his wrists, jumping back and forth on the spot and getting himself in the zone for his upcoming match with the dancing dynamo: Fandango. Unaware of his presense, Josh Matthews can be seen walking into shot next to CM Punk with a microphone in his hand. He catches the attention of Punk who turns to face him as he raises the mic to his mouth.



[Josh Matthews]
CM Punk, I would just like to get your thoughts and your mindset going into your match with Fandango.

CM Punk smirks



[[CM Punk]]
You want to talk about my match? You want to get my thoughts?

Josh looks a tad confused



[Josh Matthews]
...Yes... This match is the tie breaking match and I was just wondering if I could get what's on your mind heading into it.

Punk lets out a slight chuckle

We could talk about my thoughts on the match but I would much rather talk about the history that we are creating here tonight. In case  you haven't realised Josh you are taking part in something that can never be re-created, never be reduplicated, International Incidient, broadcasting live and in living colour from Tokyo, Japan! The land of pride, the land of respect and the land of honour, three things that my opponent Fandango has absolutely no concept of. Tonight, I am not only going to that ring and do what I do best but I am going to give a performance that the Japanese people themselves could be proud of.

In the days of the Samurai, the warriors would live, breathe, eat and sleep Samurai. Everything they did was to bring pride, reputation and honour to their names and their families. These people would train like no other, they would fight like no other all to prove that they are the most feared and respected Samurai in the land and when all is said and done, when they are out there on that battlefield and one man proves their superiority over the other, they are honoured to be given a true warriors death and if they are dishoner themselves in any way, they take their own life! That, Ladies and Gentlemen is the way of the Samurai but more importantly that is the way of CM PUNK!

I live, I breathe, I eat and I sleep Wrestling until the day I die! Every single night I walk out to that ring I do so to prove that I am the Best Wrestler in the World! I go out there every night to prove that there is not another person on this Earth that can do the things that I can do, I hold this microphone and prove that there is not a person that is even close to holding a candle to me and you can say I have an ego, you can say that I am just buying into my own hype but the history speaks for itself! I am the constant in XWL, I set the bar and now I am the standard to which people strive to be but not a damn person on this roster or who has dreams of competing on this roster is within touching distance. John Cena likes to claim "You can't see me", well I can see you John, clear as day but YOU can't touch me! Nobody can!

CM Punk lets out a loud sigh

For the past couple of months I have had a very large and a very annoying thorn in my side, one that I can't seem to shake and no matter how much I pull at it, it just seems to be burrowing deeper and deeper. Too damn long I have had to suffer with it but tonight is the night where enough is enough, tonight is the night that I finally rid myself of the tip-toe'ing, heavy breathing, disturbing freak that comes in the fun little bundle that is Fandango. I am a man of respect, I demand respect of every person around me and as soon as dear old 'Dango walked back into this company he made his first mistake by showing me a severe lack of disrespect and that is nothing that I was going to take lightly.



[[CM Punk]]
I made him regret that decision, I gave him the beating he deserved but we know the story, it has been told a thousand times now but tonight the story has been changed, there is a little plot twist because thanks to the genius mind of Paul Heyman and I there is a huge void in the corner. Layla is nowhere to be seen, there has been quite the lovers tiff backstage and that is all thanks to the XWL Universe. Like I said, I knew exactly what I was doing, I knew the mere mention of the Money in the Bank briefcase would lure 'Dango into a match no matter the stipulation, even if that stipulation cost him his "Beloved". I know how this place works, I know how the mind of these people work, love you or hate you, if they get their chance they will make your life a misery if they get the chance and that is why I threw in that little nugget, knowing full well that the illusions of success outweighed the seductions of a woman.



[[CM Punk]]
I hate to say it but you were being played from the get-go 'Dango and tonight the playing field is now even. Now you don't have any ticks hidden up your sleeve, your little British Bombshell has no interest in bailing you out again, tonight you have to suck up all the courage that you have in your body, you have to retrieve you balls from your womans purse and you have to prepare yourself for the beating of a lifetime because when I meet you out there in the ring I am going to make you regret ever considering coming back to XWL. One on one, man to man, nowhere to hide, nobody to fight your battles, just you, me, a wrestling ring and a referee and we finally put an end to it.

You can act confident, you can act smug, you can dance around without a care in the World but you and I both know that you're playing the part, that deep down there is a feeling, something in the pit of your stomach that you can't quite describe. Do you know what that feeling is 'Dango? It's called doubt, it's called realisation because you realise that you have bitten off more than you can chew, you know that without your "Lay-day" in your corner that the slightest chance of winning is out of the window but more importantly you know that you are about to step foot in that ring with the Best in the World and that I am going to send you back to the States without any of your teeth! The times for games are over, I am personally going to teach you what Japan stands for when I beat some respect into you.

Punk's face brightens up a little bit

But back to appreciation of this historic night. A night where we could see a moment that could go down as one of the greatest in XWL's history, when we could crown a Japanese Champion in front of the Japanese crowd. Not would Nakamura launch himself to the top of XWL he would cement his legacy in the history books of this company. The people want it, the people are begging for it, it seems like fate that it would happen this way and who knows, maybe it will, maybe these peoples dreams will come true and a Japanes Champion will be crowned right here in Tokyo, Japan!

Punk raises his Money in the Bank briefcase, he looks at it and smirks before returning his gaze to the camera



[[CM Punk]]
And maybe...Just maybe, I'll play spoiler and ruin the party...

CM Punk lowers the briefcase, he shrugs as he looks at Josh Matthews to almost indicate "Who knows?". Anything is possible, especially when you are in possession of that briefcase but I imagine that would leave a very sour taste in the Japanese peoples mouths if Punk were to rain on their parade. Punk walks backwards away from the shot, leaving Josh Matthews standing alone. CM Punk has made some very strong words directed to his opponent Fandango but on top of that he has left both John Cena and Shinsuke Nakarmura with a very strong reminder, that CM Punk could be moments away from cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase and capturing the World Heavyweight Championship. Is that night tonight? Who knows, you will just have to stay tuned to find out.
