XWL Power Rankings: 8/22/2014 - 8/29/2014 Edition

Hello everyone and welcome to the second edition of the XWL Power Rankings. What is this you may ask? Each week the admins are going to get together and come up with, what we believe in our views, to be the top superstars for that week. We’ll be each suggesting our own choices and then compile them together in a file list.

This will be done for both superstars and Divas. Due to the fact that there’s not many Diva’s it’ll be top three vs. the superstars top five. Think of this similar to the WWE power rankings and remember this is just for fun gang. With that said check below for this weeks XWL Power Rankings.

XWL’s Top Five Superstars

1.



Starting it off at number one, none other than the current reigning, defending, World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena. He retained his championship and he's not shown any signs of wearing down and had a strong, consistent, streak to boot. If there's one thing that can be said about John it's that he's got that desire to be the best thus he's topping the ranks again this week.

2.



If there's one thing to say about Jericho, it's that wherever he goes, success follows and he's sure to leave the fans talking. He's been in this company for years and had his fair share of success. Whether you love him or hate him there's no denying he really is the best in the world at what he does.

What else is there to say about this man besides the fact that, when he says himself and his fellow members of The Bullet Club are going to do something, they’re going to do it. That couldn’t hold more true. They’ve been on a roll since International Incident, and now that he’s the #1 contender for the U.S. Championship, the only place they have to go is up. If there’s one thing to say it’s these guys are a force to watch out for.

Coming in at four is XWL‘s resident foul-mouthed, beer-drinking, redneck who does what he wants when he wants. He may not have had the best luck at International Incident but Austin‘s never been a person that lets a loss get him down. If anything it gives him motivation to be able to kick ass that much more. This week being no exception. Despite not having his actual match Austin‘s vowed he will get his hands on Kurt Angle one way or another. One things for sure he‘s the last person you want to piss off. Nothing worse than a rattlesnake bite.

Do you bolieve in miracles? Do you bolieve that  if you do your best you can achieve all your goals? That‘s the mantra this man lives by. Although some may find his often overly-positive attitude annoying, one things for sure, he‘s got the crowds attention which has to mean something. He‘s great to watch in the ring and even more so when he‘s got a mic in his hand. One things left to be said. Is he going places? I bolieve he is..

XWL’s Top Three Divas

Starting off XWL’s first ever power rankings for this second week is someone who, although relatively new, has made a pretty interesting impact on the Diva's division. She's always got something to say on the mic but she does most of her talking in the ring. If there's anyone to watch out for it's this girl.

If there’s one I can say it's that when this girl talks, you listen. She may be small in stature but she makes up for it in a big way in the ring and on the mic. She may make bold claims but she backs them up. She's been in this company for years, been a Diva's champion, and practically done it all. Where she goes now is anyone's guess but if it were me I'd think she'd be going up. Oh and just make sure not to call her crazy. Unless you want to have nothing to live for any more.

Closing out XWL’s Power Rankings, is none other than another than Nikki Bella. This was definitely an interesting approach for things. Not used to seeing one Bella without the other. So seeing how she handled things, despite being caught off guard was really neat. Looking forward to see where things go from here. Hopefully things will go on the upside for her as she finds her footing in the company alone for the first time.
