XWL X-treme X-mas: 12/23/2012 - 12/30/2012

As X-Treme X-Mas continues the camera's cut to the ring where Ted DiBiase is already stood in the ring waiting for his opponent.

The following contest is the Non-Sanctioned Contract vs. Contract match where the winner will receive an XWL contract and the loser must leave XWL. Introducing first from Madison, Mississippi weighing in at 214pounds, Ted DiBiase!

As he's introduced the crowd cheer, however the cheers are shortly lived as the theme of his opponent begins to play through the PA system and the cheers quickly turn to boos



As Shawn walks out onto the stage, he holds his arm up above his head and begins to make his way to the ring.

And his opponent, from San Antonio, Texas, weighing in at 225pounds, the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels!

As he reaches ringside he lowers his arm and approaches a fan who's clearly very pro-DiBiase jeering Michaels especially loud, and Shawn just stands there smirking at him, then leaning over daring him to punch him on the chin. The fan looks confused for a moment, but as Michaels continues to goat him the fan eagerly takes the swing, with Michaels backs out of the way of and starts laughing at the fan for his massive stupidity. The cameras cut inside the ring where an annoyed and impatiently waiting Ted DiBiase stands with his hands on the side of his hips. Clearly he's not at all amused by Shawn's need to berate one of his fans, nor is he particularly fond of having to wait any longer than needs to for this match to start. He walks over to the ropes yelling out "While I'm still young!" But Michaels doesn't acknowledge him, he's having too much fun picking on this fan, and so Ted begins to pace the ring, the referee trying to tell him to calm down, but Ted's sick of this nonsense. Shawn finally laughs in the fan's face then turns away from them after proclaiming he's about to embarrass their hero. He takes a few steps forward, then his jaw drops as he sees Ted leap through the ropes and onto him with a huge crowd pleasing suicide dive!!

{JR}
Would you look at that! Ted DiBiase is on fire from the get go!

{King}
Michaels was taking too long to get in that ring, and so Ted brought the action to him!

{Michael Cole}
What a blatant cheap shot!

{King}
You better get used to it, Cole. If you're expecting this to be an actual match, then you're going to be in for quite the surprise.

{JR}
That's right, XWL will not be responsible for what goes down in this match, the only thing that referee will be good for is counting a pin, or checking for a submission. There are absolutely no limitations of any kind for these either man may do to, or use against one another.


With the arena immediately filling with loud and excited screams, the referee calls for the bell but Ted's not focused on that, no his eyes are locked on Shawn as he figures out what he should do first. Ted then grabs a handful of Shawn's hair pulling him up and bounces his face off the barricade, Shawn begins to slump down over it but Ted pulls him up and again bashes his face into the hard steel of the railing. The fan Shawn picked on catches Ted's eye, and he lifts Shawn's head back up, and pushes his face towards the fan then shouts out "Be my guest!" the fan's face lights up, but before Shawn's struck he drills his elbow into the side of Ted's ribs repeatedly breaking free of the hold before returning the favour and sending Ted's face into an unwanted meeting with the barricade. Then without warning Michaels pulls him back and does it again! The fans boo but instead of letting that annoy him he fires back at them with a "Oh you don't like it when I do that?" only to throw Ted's face forward and back into the hard steel that very next second! He takes some time to mock them while Ted tries to shake off the damage done, Shawn goes to do it again but just as DiBiase was about to meet steel in a very painful way, he throws his hands out and grips the barricade stopping himself from getting any closer to the railing. Then as Michaels is caught off guard Ted drives his elbow right into Shawn's gut for three consecutive times, finally free from Michael's grasp he kicks him square in the gut and pops him right in the jaw with a hard punch that knocks him a few steps.


But it's going to take more than that to drop Shawn as he immediately comes back with a hard punch of his own sending Ted wobbling backwards before quickly striking Shawn again! Shawn starts to sway back, but then swings forward, then just as Ted was about to be the one going down, he powers forward connecting with another hard hook to the Heartbreak kid. The next couple of seconds see the two men striking away at one another showing no signs of giving up control, it's an old fashioned fight right now, no weapons, just their bare fists trading blows just as fast as they can dish them out. Shawn swings for another punch, but Ted blocks it, then sends him staggering with a hard shot, and then another, and another, then just as he goes a fourth, Shawn ducks it, Ted starts to sway forward, and that's when Michaels knees him square in the gut and clubs his back almost knocking him down but Ted remains standing. Shawn then grips Ted's trunks by the waistband and chucks him right into the steel barricade! The impact is brutal and Ted's left lying against it temporarily shaken.


{King}
Oh that had to hurt!

{JR}
You're right about that, King!


Ted starts to get up, but Shawn with some quick thinking grips the top of the barricade with both hands, then tips it down right onto Ted knocking him back to the floor and covering him with the barricade! Before Ted can push it off of himself, Shawn then jumps up and lands right on top of the barricade inflicting some serious damage to the rib region of Ted DiBiase. He then jumps up and down repeatedly and Ted lets out agonizing groans that tell the viewer just how much this hurts. After jumping up and then back down on last time, Shawn flashes a smug look on his face, then jumps back down to the floor shouts out to the audience saying "Look at your hero now!" garnering a very loud negative response, but it doesn't phase him, he finds it amusing that they cheer for a guy like Ted, especially when he's in complete control right now. Out of the corner of his eye he notices Ted's stirring, trying to get back up, but he's not having any of that. He quickly backs up and then after picking up speed leaps up into the air, with a sick repeat of his plan in mind, but Ted rolls out of the way just in time and Shawn struggles but manages to land on his feet still, turns back around charging at Ted who pops back up to his feet catching Shawn in mid air and slamming him down onto the fallen railing with a huge powerslam!

I would not wanna be Michaels right now!

{Michael Cole}
Come on, Shawn! Don't let this nutcase take your job!

{JR}
By the looks of it, he's looking to do a lot more than that, Cole.


His back bridges up off the steel upon impact, and his face says it all, that didn't feel too good nor was he expecting that. Ted remains on his knees for a couple seconds, the damage has been done but he’s not about to call it quits this early. Shawn’s still holding his back from that unconventional meeting with the steel, Ted’s back on his feet, he falls back against the barricade and the fans proceed to pat him on the back rooting him on in this fight. His head turns from left to right trying to figure out what the next step of his offensive plan could be, he sees the steel steps, some extension cords, but then he also sees the ring, and he knows what all sorts of goodies await him under there. He makes his way over to the ring after making sure Michaels is still down for the moment then lifts the ring skirt up and begins to scavenge the area until his head pops out from under it, and in his hands comes out a trash can full of all sorts of weapons. The fans pop in a big way upon first noticing what he’s found. He stands back up with the bin held with both hands then walks over closer to Shawn before dumping out everything onto the floor beside him, a few Singapore canes, some metal baking sheets, steel pipes, a 2 x 4 block of wood, a trash can lid, and even a stop sign of all things!

Why would a stop sign be under the ring?!

{King}
Why not?


Ted's eyes light up like a child on Christmas morning, there's so many options and they're all sure to aid him on his goal of winning this match and rejoining the XWL roster. Shawn begins to slowly rise to his feet, Ted notices and quickly grabs the kendo stick grips it tightly in between both hands, then comes running right at a rising Shawn, but he sees it coming a mile away, side steps the cane shot, snatches it out of DiBiase's hands that next second and swings it with such force that when it drills itself right into Ted's stomach he clutches his midsection having the wind completing knocked out of him, and then gets struck again right across his back, before the combo is completed with a sickening shot straight to the temple of his skull dropping him immediately and leaving Shawn towering over him now looking around at all the objects surrounding them.

Those were a couple of vicious shots that really caught DiBiase by surprise.

{King}
He did not see that coming in the least, and if he expects to win this match, he better start anticipating Shawn's moves better than that or else he'll find himself still without a job.

{Michael Cole}
That's why Shawn's so great, Ted thought he had him right where he wanted him, that he'd get to use all his little toys and win this, but Shawn saw it all coming and not only expertly avoided it, but used it against him! Just brilliant, this match will be over in no time.

{JR}
I wouldn't count Ted out so early, the match is still young, and if we've learned anything from watching Ted in matches like this, he's a lot more dangerous than people first think.



Shawn drops the kendo stick back to the floor, then kicks away the other objects out of the way, apparently he wants nothing to do with the toys Ted found and wants to search for his own as he tosses the ring skirt up and begins to look under the ring looking for something to use. Meanwhile the fans try to rally behind Ted, they know that shot to the ribs really knocked the breath out of Ted but he's gotta get back up before Michaels sustains control. He sits up checking his forehead for blood, luckily aside from some sweat he's clean and so he starts to stand, looks behind him and notices what Shawn's doing right now, grabs hold of the stop sign, stares down at it for a few seconds, then just as Shawn finally comes out from under the ring with a chair being pulled out from under it, Ted tosses the stop sign right at Shawn who quickly catches it strictly off a reflex, but Ted was counting on that and comes flying towards Michaels with a busaiku knee ramming the sign right into the face of Shawn Michaels and drops him backwards in a slumped position against the ring apron.

Talk about being creative, that might have hurt Ted but I guarantee you it hurt Michaels a hell of a lot more.

{Michael Cole}
Whatever, this match is far from over and Ted's not got a chance in hell of coming out of this the winner, especially not when he's facing a great like Shawn Michaels.

It's not long before Ted's back to his feet, his back might not be feeling the best after landing right onto the floor but he's got no time to lick his wounds, he's gotta take action and he does so by grabbing one of the cookie shots and whacking Shawn right across the face with it! He falls to the floor, temporarily subdued for the moment but knowing Shawn he's still got a lot left in the tank, especially due to the high stakes attached to this match. While Ted goes to pick up the trash can that he initially brought into play just a few minutes ago, Shawn rises up to his hands and knees feeling a bit sore but far from out of this. DiBiase turns back around and notices Shawn’s just about up to his feet, rushes over towards him to prevent him from doing so only for Michaels to trip Ted up with a drop toe hold causing Ted to face plant the trash can flattening it instantly which allows Shawn to turn the tide in an instant. He looks down at DiBiase, as if he couldn’t believe it was that easy to regain control, but then shrugs knowing he’s gotta act fast and grabs the steel chair he never got to use and swings it down onto the back of the third generation superstar getting a nice little scream from him in the process. Ted slightly rises up with his fists pressed against the floor only to be struck again! He falls back down to the floor, then slowly starts to get back up, and is struck a third painful time!

That steel chair is proving to be quite the challenge for Ted, every time he tries to get up he's knocked back down with another spine shattering shot.

{Michael Cole}
I think it's quite clear that Shawn's got this match in the bag, you'd think a man that's been wanting his job back for almost four months would try a little harder but I guess that's just proving why he was fired in the first place...


Shawn goes to strike him for a fourth time, but Ted's had enough! He know Shawn's going to keep swinging and swinging and so he quickly rolls out of the way and under the ring!


{King}
That's one way to get out of dodge.

{Michael Cole}
What a coward, running away.

{JR}
Well he surely wasn't supposed to just lie there and continue to be struck by the steel chair.

Shawn shakes his head, drops the chair and shouts out "You're not getting away from me you little punk!" then throws up the ring apron skirt, sticks his head under the ring, and comes flying backwards as he's blinded by the contents of a fire extinguisher in the hands of Ted DiBiase! Ted makes the most of this opening and plunges the horizontal extinguisher into gut of Shawn Michaels. Ted then tosses it to the floor before grabbing Shawn by his wrist and throwing him with all he's got into the steel steps! The force was so great the top half of the steps falls down to the floor, and Shawn's left leaned against the bottom portion. But he's not stopping there, he grabs Shawn and quickly throws him into the corner of the barricade! Not allowing him to rest he picks him back up and tosses him over the barricade and into the crowd!

Bah gawd, this fights being taken into the crowd, there’s no telling what either man has in mind at this point, other than fight and do anything at all costs to come out on top of this one.

{Michael Cole}
Those people better keep their hands off Shawn! This isn’t a handicap match, it’s one on one, and it’s going to stay that way!

{King}
Ironic considering Ted’s match last month was supposed to be one on one and then Shawn butted his nose into things and that’s why we’re where we are right now. Had Shawn just left well enough alone then he wouldn’t be in this position, his contract wouldn’t be a stake nor would he be in an unsanctioned match with a guy like Ted DiBiase.

{JR}
Ted can take a punishment there’s no doubt about that, but he always manages to find away back into things and that’s what makes him most dangerous. You never know when he’s going to get that second wind, but when he does you better be ready.



The fans are now going crazy, realizing that this fight is about to spill into the audience and they're about to get their moneys worth with this one. Shawn crawls past several rabid fans, as if he were trying to get away, Ted hops over the barricade grabs Shawn by his ankle pulling him forward, but as he reaches to turn Shawn around, Shawn throws a cup of soda in Ted's face, then kicks his leg out from under him, yanks a chair out from under a fan and wallops DiBiase in the face with a sickening chair shot! A group of fans scurry out of the way as Ted falls into their path. He's gotta be knocked out after a shot like that, but Shawn doesn't appear at all finished. He throws the chair back down then notices a fan holding a replica title of the World Heavyweight Championship. He pulls it out of their hands yells out "Look Ted, a champion that's actually worse than you were!" bending down and shoving the title in his face, after a few seconds Ted shoves him off, sits up, but that's when the title held in Shawn's hands collides into Ted's skull knocking him out once again.

Oh that was just nasty.

{Michael Cole}
Remember JR, there's nothing these men cannot use against one another, even objects brought in by the fans.

{JR}
I'm well aware of that, Cole. It still doesn't change how vicious that was.

{King}
You'd think Ted would be in his element being so close to his fans, but it's like he can't even get a second in control. Either Michaels has his number, or he doesn't want to potentially bring any harm to them.

{JR}
That's actually a good point, King.

{Michael Cole}
Oh please don't make any excuses for him, if he felt so highly about the well being of his fans then why did he throw Shawn into the audience in the first place? Sometimes it feels like I'm sitting next to morons.

{King}
The feelings mutual, Cole.

The fans of the surrounding area wast not a bit of time in expressing their hatred over this. Shawn zones them out then grasps Ted around his neck lifting him up, dragging him away from the area but Ted suddenly plants his feet on the floor stopping the two from going any further, then begins to pound away at him with several jabs to the ribs, Shawn clubs him over the back to put a stop to any comeback, but Ted's not giving up and drills his knee into Michael's gut then now free from his clutches Ted with some quick thinking spikes Michaels on the concrete floor with a DDT!

{King}
There we go, that's the drive of Ted DiBiase that we know all too well.

{JR}
Shawn thought he had him right where he wanted him but unfortunately for Mr. Michaels he thought wrong.

{Michael Cole}
Okay so Ted got a lucky counter, that doesn't mean anything! One move doesn't change the landscape of a match, it takes way more than that.

{King}
I think a lot would argue that one move could in fact make the difference of winning or losing a match, Cole.


Ted places the back of his hand against his back, feeling the effects of that DDT almost as much as Shawn, the fans place their hands on him cheering him on, telling him to kick Shawn's ass and that's been his mindset since before the match even began, to do whatever it takes no matter the risk to himself so that he can right the wrong that was his firing and get his career back on track. The fan that had their chair swiped out from under them by Shawn grabs their chair back, but instead of sitting it down so they can have a seat, they hold it up shouting out to Ted, wanting to get a bit of revenge on Shawn themselves. Ted notices and jumps up to his feet stretching for a moment, then grabs Shawn pulling him up from behind, locking hold of both arms by his wrists then yells out "Make sure you get his good side!" the fan looks around, are they really going to be allowed to swing at Shawn like this? After a slight hesitation, they grip the chair tightly then yell out "This one's for Ted!!!" before swinging with mild force, but Shawn steps on Ted's foot breaking free of his grasp and ducking out of the way just in time for Ted be knocked the hell out by one of his own fans!


{Michael Cole}
Ha! Nice aim, loser! Look at this guy, this just proves that Ted is a bad example for these fans, they paid to sit there, not get involved and yet they tried to harm someone like Shawn Michaels, that there is sad ladies and gentlemen, just sad.

{King}
I'm not saying that was the right choice of action but Shawn didn't have to take their chair from them in the first place.

{JR}
That shot that Ted just took has him loopy, it might not have had much impact behind it, but it struck him straight on the side of his head, and that couldn't have felt good at all.

{Michael Cole}
Of course it didn't he got whopped in the head by a steel chair, of course it's going to hurt! But he only has himself to blame, he condoned such actions by his fans, hell he promotes such violence, and it came back to bite him in the end now didn't it?



Shawn bursts into an uncontrollable laughter towards the fan holding his stomach from the pain of laughing so hard, then yells "You stupid idiot!" before laughing again then calming himself down and continuing with "You just hit your own hero, that's rich!" and laughs again and again, the fan gets annoyed yelling out "Ted's going to beat you old timer!" Shawn stops laughing, then gives the fan a look that practically says "Not even on my worst day pal" before motioning at a nearby security guard and ordering them to escort this fan out of the building. They plead and plead, the fans boo Shawn and the security for doing this, but no amount of pleading is going to change Shawn's mind, he tried to hit him, and so he wants him out of the building. They're pulled away and Michaela just waves at them with a huge grin on his face before shouting out "Have a nice night!" garnering more and more hate from these rabid fans. He watches them get escorted away until they're no longer in sight, then turns his attention back to Ted who's leaned himself up against the barricade, still not all there in the head after that chair shot. He's holding the side of his skull, it's not clear if he's been busted open or not and Shawn doesn't care. He walks over towards Ted to grab him to continue laying on the punishment but Ted manages to regain focus despite still feeling sort of dazed and pushes Shawn back with enough force to knock him away a few steps but not enough to drop him down to the floor. Shawn seems annoyed over this and comes darting right at Ted with his forearm stuck out seemingly going for an elbow shot, but in a split second move Ted throws his arms out catching Shawn and with no way to avoid what's next Shawn's propelled high into the air over the barricade before making a gruesome landing onto bottom half of the steel steps!!

{King}
Oh no!!

{JR}
Good god almighty he just damn near killed the man!

Ted falls back against the barricade catching a much needed breather, and the fans explode into a huge "Holy shit!" chant. They're all on their feet amazed at what they just saw and more excited than ever!

{Michael Cole}
No! No! No! This can't be it! That didn't just happen!

{JR}
Oh it did Cole, and believe you me, Michaels will definitely be feeling that in the morning.

{King}
I can't believe what we just saw! Ted just absolutely destroyed him! That's the Ted we were talking about, he only needs one instant to change everything and I don't even know if Michaels will be able to continue after that one. He's got a bad back as it is, and...phew boy that was just crazy to watch before our very eyes!

{Michael Cole}
Someone check on Shawn, look what this lunatic just did! Don't cheer him you idiots, boo him! Quick someone make sure Shawn's still breathing! Someone handcuff that bastard he's taking this too far, Shawn's back could be in pieces, his career could be over!

{JR}
It was an unbelievable sight and I guarantee you it's going to leave it's mark, but Shawn isn't one to ever count out of a fight, much like Ted they have that in common...so when you've got two guys refusing to give up no matter what's done to him, you just know it's only going to get even harder to watch from here.

The referee quickly runs over to Michaels to check on him, who's on the outside still clutching his knee in pain, and as Ted climbs back over the barricade to ringside, the referee tries to block Ted from continuing his assault on Michaels, but clearly not caring what the referee thinks DiBiase pushes him to one side and grabs Michaels by a fistful of his hair pulling him to his feet and rolling him back into the ring.

{Michael Cole}
What disrespect by DiBiase, he should know better and do what the referee says!

{King}
This is a Non Sanctioned match, DiBiase can do whatever he lies, the referee had no business trying to stop him from doing that.

Ted re-enters the ring behind Michaels and pulls him back his feet, only to put him back on the mat with a Scoop Slam and climbs the nearby Top Rope.

{JR}
This young man has put it all on the line tonight.

{Michael Cole}
How can you say that JR? He doesn't have anything to put on the line, he's fighting for another man's contract here! If anyone's put it all on the line it's Michaels!

{JR}
I meant physically Cole. DiBiase is willing to do whatever it takes to get a contract in XWL.

{Michael Cole}
Well if he had to attitude when he still had a job here then he wouldn't be in this situation.

With DiBiase perched on the top rope, he dives off driving both of his feet into Michaels rib cage with a Double Stomp the goes for the cover!

{King}
What a Foot Stomp by DiBiase! And he thinks it could be over right here.

Michaels kicks out at a two count.

{JR}
That was a close call for Michaels there, a second later and he'd of been history.

{Michael Cole}
Michaels knew exactly what he was doing, he just wanted a second more to his breath back.

Annoyed at Michaels resilience, Ted drops an Elbow onto Shawn's back, followed by another and another, then following a forth and final Elbow Drop to Michaels' back, DiBiase pumps up the crowd then lifts HBK to his feet and plants him down with authority with his patented Sitout Spinebuster and goes for another cover.

{JR}
DiBiase is taking it to Michaels right now!

Michaels kicks out at a two count again.

{King}
DiBiase is getting closer and closer here, one more big move and it could be over!

Clearly Ted is getting more and more frustrated as Michaels continues to refuse to stay down, and with what's on the line for both men who can blame them. Ted once again lifts Shawn to his feet and whips him into the ropes then Ted follows him. As Michaels hits the ropes he takes a few mores steps before turning around seeing nothing but DiBiase swinging his arm at him for a clothesline, however Michaels manages to move out of the way hitting the ropes again and coming back hitting DiBiase with a Flying Forearm and both men hit the mat!

{Michael Cole}
What a move by Michaels! He was laying in wait and now is his opportunity1 Get up Shawn, you have him right where you want him!

{JR}
Oh calm down Cole, both of them are down, it's an even ball game at the moment.

Both men lay on the mat motionless for a while, but then DiBiase starts to move slowly getting to his feet, then Michaels kips up instantly feeling a second wind and waiting for DiBiase to turn around, then upon doing so is hit by a Reverse Atomic Drop then a Punch to the head sending him to the mat, however Ted quickly bounces back up from the mat only to be planted back down by a Scoop Slam by Michaels.

{Michael Cole}
What did I tell you JR? Michaels has Ted right where he wants him, and this is VINTAGE Michaels right now!

{King}
It's been a hell of a battle, I'm just surprised these men have anything left to give.

Feeling that the momentum is going his way Michaels slowly exits the ring onto the apron, feeling his knee which is still clearly hurting him from the collision with the steps, Shawn then slowly climbs up the turnbuckle to the top rope.

{JR}
Shawn's knee isn't feeling right by the looks of it, and he could of just wasted valuable seconds there, a rare moment where he took his eye off the ball and it could cost him.

{King}
I'm surprised he's even going up top, it's a huge risk! If he hits this it could be over, but if he misses then we could be saying goodbye to Michaels tonight.

Not quite able to keep his balance on the top Michaels slips, luckily for him he plants his foot on the middle turnbuckle, so exhausted from the match Shawn takes too long repositioning himself and by now DiBiase is back on his feet and he goes over to Shawn and punches him in the head twice forcing him to take a seated position on the top rope and he climbs up to the second rope himself.

{JR}
This is exactly what I was talking about, Shawn wasted time and DiBiase is going to make him pay for it.

{Michael Cole}
It looks like he's going for a Superplex! This could end it for both men right now!

{King}
I'm sure Ted knows what he's doing, and this could be just what he needs to get the match won.

Ted hooks Shawn arm and grabs the top of his tights trying for a Superplex but Michaels blocks it by locking his legs in the turnbuckle then starts to punch Ted in the gut makes him loosen his grip, then Shawn pushes Ted off the turnbuckle backwards hitting the mat hard!

{Michael Cole}
Crash and burn for Ted right there! And that could of cost him big time!

{JR}
But Michaels needs to capitalise on this, he can't afford to slip up again.

Shawn slowly climbs back up to the top rope and steadies himself, then he dives off driving an Elbow into the chest off DiBiase! Then he hops back up feeling the match and the contract is his for the taking and makes his way over to the corner.

{Michael Cole}
Believe me JR, Michaels isn't going to slip up here, he's feeling it! He is in the zone and DiBiase better be ready for a little taste of Sweet Chin Music!

{King}
When Michaels gets like this he's almost impossible to stop, but he needs to stop showboating and keep on top of Ted.

Shawn stomps on the mat as the crowd begin to boo, then he stomps again as the boo's grow louder and louder then as each stomp of his foot comes so do more boo's, and after each stomp another comes quicker and quicker until DiBiase is back to his feet

{Michael Cole}
Here it comes! Get ready to say goodbye to Ted DiBiase!

Michaels swings his big boot at DiBiase for the Sweet Chin Music but he ducks out of the way and Shawn hits the referee square in the jaw!

{JR}
DiBiase dodged the Superkick! He got out of the way!

And the referee is down! He took the Superkick from Michaels right on the jaw! And he is out!

As HBK looks down at the referee, DiBiase takes advantage of the situation grabbing him from behind in a Cobra Clutch and planting Michaels with a Dream Street! Not noticing the referee is down Ted goes for the cover as the crowd shout what the pin should be!

{Michael Cole}
DiBiase hasn't noticed it yet! There's no referee you idiot! You can't win!

{JR}
What a shame for Ted, he could have the match won right now.

Ted gets up from the cover turning around to see the referee out like a light on the mat, and Ted only just noticing realizes that he just lost his best chance to earn a new XWL contract as a wave of devastation comes across him and he tries to wake the referee up by shaking him.

{King}
It's no use, that could of been his best chance, it might of been his only chance and there's no one around to count the three. Michaels is still alive by the skin of his teeth.

{Michael Cole}
Well if Ted didn't move then the referee would of been able to count the three. Of course DiBiase would of been the one knocked out by the Superkick, but that's a risk I would be willing to take!

Unable to wake the referee up, Ted lets him go as Michaels hits Ted with a Chop Block, taking Ted's legs out from underneath him, then wrapping his leg around Ted's and crossing them over before turning him onto his belly in a Sharpshooter!

{JR}
He's got him in the Sharpshooter! Sharpshooter is locked in!

{King}
But again there's no referee, if Ted taps out there will be no one to ring the bell.

{Michael Cole}
I'll do it if I have to, I won't have my best friend screwed out of a job!

With the Sharpshooter firmly locked in Ted instinctively tries to claw his way to the ropes as the agony is clear from the expression on his face, Ted digs down keep with each claw on the mat inching closer and closer to the bottom rope until he gets there holding it for dear life.

{Michael Cole}
Damn it, DiBiase gets to the ropes!.. But wait there's no referee he doesn't have to break the hold!

{King}
It's not Sanctioned by XWL, Cole he wouldn't of had to anyway, that's just instinct and ring awareness right there.

However with the referee being down and the match being Non-Sanctioned it doesn't really matter, but regardless Shawn drags DiBiase in the Sharpshooter back into the middle of the ring leaving Ted with nothing to do but deal with the pain knowing that if the referee woke up and he tapped out then he would never get his job back. Gritting his teeth Ted slowly starts to fade out, passing out from the continued pain of the Sharpshooter.

{JR}
I think DiBiase has passed out, he didn't tap out folks, he's just passed out, this is how much getting his job back means to him.

As he realizes Ted has passed out, Michaels lets go of the hold and stumbles over to the ropes and slides under the ropes to the outside and begin searching underneath the ring.

{King}
It is X-Treme X-Mas you never know what you're going to find underneath the ring in XWL.

{JR}
You don't need to remind me, we've seen it all tonight.

Soon after Shawn re-emerges with a Lead Pipe in his hands and starts hitting the Steel Steps with it to make sure it's solid, then he slowly walks up the steps and re-enters the ring.

{King}
A Lead Pipe? Let me assure you, you can do some serious damage with one of those.

{JR}
I'm sure that's what Michaels has in mind too King.

{Michael Cole}
It's all legal though, this is what they signed up for!

Having come through Ted slowly pulls himself into a corner, sitting down with his back up against the bottom turnbuckle as Michaels walks over to him slowly and stands over him. Shawn looks directly at Ted and performs the Crotch Chop telling him to "Suck It" but instead Ted grabs Shawn by the tights and pulls him head first into the middle turnbuckle and steals the Pipe out from his hands! Then as Shawn turns around Ted hits him hard in the gut with it!

{Michael Cole}
That shouldn't be allowed! DiBiase is a damn thug! Somebody get that weapon away from him!

{JR}
You said it just a moment ago Cole, it's all legal.

{Michael Cole}
That's before I knew DiBiase was going to use it on Michaels. That FAN is just assaulting XWL's Shawn Michaels with that thing!

{King}
That fan is a former XWL champion, and he should still be an XWL superstar if it wasn't for Vickie Guerrero!

As Ted wields the Lead Pipe in his hands he turns around to face Michaels who's on his knee's in the corner pleading with him not to do it. As Ted slowly walks up to Michaels, Shawn starts begging with him to show mercy knowing full well what Ted has in mind with the Pipe.

{JR}
DiBiase has Michaels just where he wants him, hit him Ted!

{King}
Look at him, he's actually begging. I bet Shawn never thought he'd see the day.

{Michael Cole}
How can you condone this? That's a man's lively hood. If Ted hits him, Shawn might loose his job, is that what you want? You want a man to loose his job? I can't believe you two!

DiBiase continues to inch closer and closer as Shawn sticks his arms out as he continues his pleas to Ted, wanting him to think it over, however it's clear it's falling on deaf eyes as Ted only has one thing on his mind.

{King}
Just hit him Ted, get it over and done with!

The camera then cuts to the ramp as Vickie Guerrero, the Redemption General Manager runs down the ramp to the ring still wearing her referee's shirt from Alicia Fix vs Paige earlier in the show, and she enters the ring unknown to DiBiase.

{JR}
What the hell is she doing out here? This match has nothing to do with her!

{Michael Cole}
Nothing to do with her? Look what she's wearing, she's just trying to help out while the other referee is sleeping on the job!

Vickie quickly gets behind Ted hitting him with a Low Blow, then as Vickie barks instructions at Michaels he rolls him up and Vickie quickly counts the pin!

{JR}
What's the meaning of this?! What is she doing out here!

1! 2! 3!

{Michael Cole}
Oh my god! Michaels has done it! Michaels has DEFEATED Ted DiBiase!

{JR}
No, Vickie Guerrero has defeated Ted DiBiase.

Almost as quickly as she counts the three she signals for the bell.



Both Michaels and Guerrero exits the ring to get away from Ted and begin to escape up the ramp where Vickie raises Shawn's hand in victory.

The winner of this match, Shawn Michaels!

As Robert's announces the winner the camera's cut back to DiBiase in the ring in total shock of what just happened looking at the Time Keeper asking what just happened, then he turns around to see Shawn with Vickie in a referee's shirt on the ramp and he quickly puts the two together.

{JR}
And it's all sinking in for DiBiase right now. He's just realizing what's just happened.

{Michael Cole}
Somebody get him out of here already, he has no business being here!

Ted quickly rolls out of the ring and runs up the ramp chasing Shawn and Vickie backstage leaving Ted stood on the ramp livid about what just happened.

{JR}
That young man has poured his heart and soul into tonight, and it's a damn shame he came out short, especially how it happened too.

As Shawn's theme fades out and a few seconds pass by the reality of it all sinks in for Ted as he holds his head in his hands knowing once again he's been screwed out of a contract, then the shock quickly turns to anger as he flips the steps over and starts to rip the padding off the barricade clearly having a near breakdown over being screwed over.

{Michael Cole}
Look at him, he's an animal, somebody get the security already! They can clamp down on Steen, Reks and Hawkins but they can't handle DiBiase at all. Who is in charge around here? I blame Hogan!

Security soon run down to ringside to stop Ted from destroying anything else trying to calm him down, and the camera's slowly fade out whilst focusing on the distort Ted at ringside.

THE GAME HAS DONE IT! The Bell has rung, and Triple H has been crowned the first ever XWL Undisputed Champion.

[JR]
Baw Gawd! He's done it! Triple H has done it! He truly has proved tonight, that he is still at the top of his game.

[Jerry Lawler]
Indeed he did, He defeated Chris Jericho a man who has been dominant for the majority of his XWL Career.

The Ref' hands Triple H both the XWL Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H takes a long hard look at both titles, as the crowd are all on their feet for The King of Kings. Triple H climbs the turnbuckle.



He hoists up both titles to the delight of the fans.

[JR]
Nearly a year ago Triple H promised he would become World Champion, not only did he do that but he will end 2012 the XWL Undisputed Champion.


Triple H stands over Jericho who is still yet to move out out of the ring, he lifts up both titles whilst stood over the now former XWL Champion, before leaving the ring to celebrate with the fans around ringside. After walking around the entire front row, shaking hansd with each fan who supported him. Triple H heads up the ramp. He gets to top of the ramp, and turns around.



Triple H holds up both titles into the air as Jericho looks on from the ring, clearly disappointed. The final PPV of 2012, fades off with the image of Triple H heading backstage, with both titles over his shoulder.
