Honestly, while I love the matches at the right times, the community aspect when it's good, my favorite thing is just seeing XWL alive and well approaching Nine Years Later...like, as someone that created this league, I had no idea what I was doing, where it would go, but to see all these changes over the years, all these awesome people come in our lives forming bonds that you never expected to form, it's great. It's not been easy, we've had points where things looked bad, but thanks to the dedication from members, thanks to nobody giving up due to a drop in activity, we've managed to recover most notably the last three weeks. Things were WAY better this year as opposed to last year, but holy shit. The last two shows have been amazing, the current third one is shaping up to be another amazing show and it feels good. To see people that all want the same thing, coming together to shape this incredible thing. My answer probably is all over the place but what I love the most is the members. The ones that helped shape XWL, the ones that stuck through the good and bad, and the ones that are taking XWL to a place it hasn't been in years right now.
What's your least favorite?
The drama, obviously. It's impossible to avoid, but it does make good moments sometimes easily forgotten due to the nature of them. Like, the fact sometimes, it's gotten better...but sometimes you just see a match where someone obviously only cared about getting the win, as opposed to just having a fun match for both, and it gets you a little disappointed. Because sure the stories we create are awesome, but at the end of the day, a win, a loss...they don't matter. What matters is the match those wins and losses take place. Did you both have a killer exchange? Was there awesome moments? Then there ya go, that's all that matters. And it won't happen for every match, not everything will be a classic...but I think the mindset of everyone needs to be not winning, or fear of loser, but instead...what will bring about fun for not just me, but my opponent? Matches don't have to be ended as soon as you get a finisher, you don't have to do signatures or finishers as soon as you get them. Remember that.
Are you willing to suggest ideas to help XWL grow as a whole? If so, what should be done?
Always, it's kind of hard because with a league that's been around so long, we've pretty much (to my knowledge anyways) tried everything you could think of. Obviously times change and something that didn't work before could now, and vice versa...but for the most part I think we've done well. We need to improve on the advertising front, I know one admin suggested breaking into social media a bit more for the next game so maybe we'll try that? As for the suggestions for another title being added, I'm not against it. IF the activity stays as it's been the last three weeks I'd have no issue with it at all.
If asked are you willing to offer suggestions whether it be booking, names for ppvs, ideas for shows etc.?
Again I already do this. With booking I've ALWAYS tried to come up with the best matches for everyone, story wise, character wise.
Do you prefer being booked as one main person or all of your superstars/women wrestler(s)?
I always am fine being booked as all because I like having matches, it just depends on my current stories.
What features do you think the XWL shows/site could have to improve it?
I think site wise, we need more things happening like community based things. There's some things in the works from some members right now so hopefully those work out and become a mainstay. I'd love maybe, not every week because as seen before when Krzy did it it can become a bit much especially with little help from others, but maybe like a monthly newsletter. Catching us up on what's been happening, titles lost, titles won, rivalries ended, started, matches coming up to look forward to, breakout star of the month, something like that all together.
What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships?
I love for one especially that we FINALLY have The Women's title, I love The Intercontinental Championship because it has always brought about awesome feuds/stories throughout it's lineage in XWL. The World Heavyweight title is my favorite design as far as World titles go, it's simple in it's design but has a nice look that doesn't go crazy as opposed to other world titles.
If we were to add another title, I'd kind of like to maybe do an idea the admin team roughly had at the beginning of the year.
We were considering bringing back The X-treme Championship under new rules, because previously the matches felt unimportant due to nobody really promoing for it, promoing on it, it just felt like a filler title that had no purpose, sure the title matches were always gimmick, but outside of that where was the huge differentiation?
So what discussion boiled down to was perhaps every time the belt is defended, there's a wheel spun of gimmicks to decide the match's type that week. And instead of having matches every week, we do them around every three weeks, maybe two.
Krzy at the time suggested maybe allowing back to back title matches to build a story/draw things out so we didn't run out of challengers.
So I thought, what if we took that idea to a whole new level, and did something we've never done for a title ever? What if, we had The X-treme Championship be a "best of" series. Make each "match" a best of three or five, either same show or spread out through the weeks. I personally like it spread out so like match #1 one week, match #2 the next, and so forth.
Because it'd bring up an old history of the belt when an "X-treme Series" was attempted, and...it'd kind of make every X-treme Championship bout a bit of an "Extreme War." That's the kind of title I'd like to introduce if we add another because it's completely different from every other title, and it has it's own thing that makes it super exciting.
Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?
I think all the champions (excluding myself because I ain't about to sing my own praises but thank you to those above that did <3)
But I think everyone's doing great. Sheamus and his rivalry with Raven has been cool, been nice to see a super fresh challenger emerge onto the I.C scene. Sheamus has managed to make his reign stay interesting despite it being his second in a short time, so that's been great as well.
Dean, Tyler already knows this but he's hands down been awesome as World Champion. He salvaged Final Stand's world title scene, and then thanks to Plus becoming contender as Roman we've seen that story from the grand show carry over into a bit of a rivalry within a rivalry. Dean and Roman are contender and champion, but they're having to put that impending match aside because of The Authority still being their dastardly selves.
What do you think of how you've been booked? Do you know why you've been booked the way you have?
I mean we book everyone the same, people who are active and taking part in the show via promos and matches will get priority and story based sometimes matches. People who aren’t, and don’t will just get a match to see if they’ll actually do it or not. I think I’ve been booked fine.
What is your opinion of the way contenders for titles are decided?
I think now we actually find the best suitable deserving contenders, because before in the past sometimes people who didn’t really promo or whatever all that much would find themselves in the title scene and it really ruined championships because if there’s not someone, a contender or champion to promote them, what’s the point? So when we look for contenders we take whoever has been active and come up with who is most deserving, which is really going to be fun after Downpour considering so many people have been killing it these last couple of weeks. But it’s really simple, if you’re active, both match wise, and promos, whether you win the most, or lose the most, there’s an opportunity coming your way.
Are you a fan of the Special Event system? Do you prefer the PPV once a month system instead? Would you like something different than both of these?
Considering this was my idea I love how it’s worked, it makes actual weekly shows matter, which is an issue we had for a while when we had like 10-11 PPVs in a years time. Plus we don’t have to have all these filler, essentially one note PPVs just for the sake of having them.
How do you feel about the new and improved rule system? Do you think it can be improved in any way?
Love them, best we’ve ever had, because they’re clear, they cover a wide range of things, and they ensure that if followed, you’ll have a great fun time.
How do you feel about the 24 hour waiting period after applying for a recently available Superstar to allow others to also log their interest? Can this be improved in any way?
I get the whole suggestion to not do this for lesser people but and I’m not going to retype the long ass post I had for this but waiting 24 hours is not a big deal, if you want someone that’s newly free, everyone should have equal opportunity if they want them as well. Because either someone doesn’t apply, and they’re yours the next day, or, someone does….and it proves the point of why we have that policy in the first place.
Lately the admins have been discussing the current system in place for deciding overalls. Do you feel the one we have now is fine or should we go a different route? If so do you have a method you think would work better?
I WISH I KNEW A BETTER WAY, like just basing it off XWL. Because we’ve had so many nothing in real life superstars male and female, make so much more of an impact than they do in real life, so it’d be nice if we could reflect that in their overalls. Like, I don’t know how we could, but I just feel like if we found some way to do that, to base overalls somewhat on what they’ve accomplished here, as opposed to what they have, or haven’t in the real world it’d kinda be more fair. Especially speaking as someone that has made stars out of scrubs. Also the fact that Layla is a 74 despite being HUGE in XWL hurts me deeply. Sydal to a point too, not as big but damn.
As far as the suggestion to increase the reversal bars, I love it...except, it kind of fucks over the people that for whatever reason don't have the attribute editor so they can't. Which kind of takes away from making it "even" since they can't change it so should we really add that when some can't?
What is your overall opinion of XWL? Why?
Not gonna retype my sappy answer because it went too long but I love it. I love that we’re combining two communities into one recently, and becoming one big family again.
How much of the stuff posted on XWL's Anarchy! do you read on a weekly basis?
Don’t read it all as soon as it’s posted due to being busy/working/promoing/relaxing but as an admin I as well as the others have to read everything to stay up on current events, and stories as well as who is deserving of this and that. But mostly because I enjoy reading the awesome stories people are creating, ESPECIALLY recently.
How do you feel about the Admins that are in charge of running the site?
This is a bit of an awkward question to answer because we’re kind of going to be undergoing a slight change with the team in the next few weeks. But I think we’ve really recovered from when Gaz left. He was my #2 for so long, and I wasn’t sure if we’d find help to fill that void but I can happily say we have. Though I still miss you BB. But yeah everyone’s doing great, and we’ll be even better soon enough.
Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better? Any thoughts about who is on the posters?
Zack does an awesome job, as far as who’s on it it really depends on who is making hype at the moment, who is a fit for the look we want for it. Little known fact, Layla while Women’s Champion so that’d be your first thought as to why she’s on the poster, was actually put on it BEFORE she won the title, so it’s merely a coincidence that she got on it after being champion. So whether you’re champ or not, make an impact in some way, add hype to yourself and it could be you on the next one!

I think Apollo should man up and compete. But, I won't complain. All this has done has given me more time to prepare for Eric Young next week. An even easier victory. But I feel for the XWL fans out there that wanted to see there favourite superstar Edge compete tonight, they don't get too because one guy can't be bothered to show up and get his a** kicked by me? Pathetic. I'm done here anyway, I'll do my talking next on Anarchy.

Following an interview with potentially one of the men that could be heading into The Main-Event for The World Heavyweight Championship, we head to our commentary team.
[Michael Cole] Ladies and Gentlemen I'm afraid we've got some bad news.
[King] That's right, at the start of tonight's show Stephanie McMahon revealed the results of The Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender Vote, and we found out there was a three way tie for second place.
[JBL] Therefore it was ordered that we'd see Apollo Crews, Eric Young, and Edge all compete for the right to meet Marty Scurll, the man that scored 50% of the vote, in Anarchy's Main-Event next week.
[Michael Cole] But we've found out that while Apollo was preparing for tonight's match, he had an unfortunate accident, in which he is now unable to compete tonight.
[King] Unfortunately for Apollo, and the Apollo Nation, this means that he has now been forced to withdraw from the running.
[JBL] Stephanie McMahon has ruled on what will happen in light of this news, and I quote..."The incident Apollo suffered is a freak accident that I am terribly sorry it happened. I wish he would be cleared to compete but safety first, so that is just not possible. I feel that in light of this news, Eric Young and Edge both need time to prepare for what's next, they expected a triple threat. However due to Apollo's elimination, their match will now be a one on one. Next week on Anarchy, Edge and Eric Young will compete, and the winner will move onto The Main-Event later that night to challenge Marty Scurll, in a match where The #1 Contendership To The Intercontinental Championship is on the line. I apologize for the originally scheduled match not happening but sadly it was out of my control. Thank you. "
[Michael Cole] Sad news indeed, but I can't wait until Anarchy when Eric Young goes to war with Edge, and then the winner, battles "The Villain" in The Main-Event, for a future Intercontinental Championship Match.
The crowd waits in anticipation of whats next when a familiar theme begins to play.
The crowd watches as none other that "The Boss" Sasha Banks walks out from behind the curtain. Sasha walks down the ramp as the crowd has mixed feelings about her return. As Sasha makes her way down the ramp, up the ring steps, flaunts her boss ring to the crowd as she normally does, and into the ring as she motions for a mic.
[Sasha Banks] Miss me? Of course you did! You know you missed the boss flaunting around here, giving the bank statement to any of these so called "Divas" who square up with The Boss. Now see i could have continued to sit at home and gloat over my losses, but i heard a one miss Michelle McCool came back last night and gave her speech on how shes coming for the womans title and such, but who listens to her shes old and washed up anyways. But the reason im out here is that there is a certain "Red Queen" who walks around with that title around her waist. Well Eva darling be ready because "The Boss" is putting you on notice. That goes for all the other divas in the back as well because i'm putting all of you on notice too. I dont care who i have to go through to get to #1 but its going to happen, so be ready because "The Boss" is back.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] And she will stop at nothing to get it!
Sasha makes her way backstage as Anarchy continues.
What's a surefire way to to endanger your chance at having a long prosperous career? Going after the boss's favorite toy, and damn near ripping it’s arm out of their socket, forcing them to have no other choice than to vacate their Intercontinental Championship, sidelining them for for the foreseeable future. The Authority took a hit when Suicide did just that to Seth Rollins on Anarchy's debut episode back in November. Suicide waged a war against The Authority whether intentional or not, which lead him to battles against J & J, both official and not. Ultimately, Seth Rollins would return, a week earlier than hyped by The Authority, to "eliminate" Suicide from the equation, and allow Seth safe passage to reclaim the title he never lost. However those plans were foiled when Suicide was not only still a factor, he attacked Seth preventing him from competing in the Intercontinental Championship Fatal Four Way, and that has lead us...to tonight. Suicide...versus Seth Rollins...No Disqualifications...and if Suicide loses, Seth Rollins has promised to personally fire him. The odds are not in Suicide's favor, but that hasn't stopped him this entire time, so don't count out this masked superstar just yet, he may have one more trick, under that mask.
On XWL's debut edition of Anarchy, head of The Divas Division Layla would announce that under the order of a "new era" Bayley would be stripped of her Divas Championship, however...having fought through blood, sweats, and tears inside The Elimination Chamber to have won that title, Bayley would refuse to give it up so easily. A defiant Bayley showed a side of herself Layla nor The XWL Universe had ever truly seen before...she wasn't the lovable sweet innocent woman that could do no wrong...she was a champion that wouldn't surrender. A woman that would do anything, even attack her own boss when Layla snatched the title out of her hands. But not to be outdone, Layla would fire Bayley, ending her childhood dream, and taking away her very livelihood all in the same moment. A month after her firing, Bayley would reemerge, attempt to sabotage Layla's creation in The Womens Championship Tournament Finals...and while her efforts would fail, her mission...was just getting started. If she couldn't be an XWL diva, she would be the next best thing, a regular member of the audience, every single week. Just the sight of Bayley disrupted the show, and after several weeks...enough...was enough. Layla would give Bayley exactly what she wanted, she wanted her job back? Then you've got it, if you can do what you couldn't do at Breakthrough, and defeat The Womens Championship Match in Eva Marie, and Madison Rayne...then you would be rehired. While the odds seemed to be too much for Bayley last week, handicapped by having to compete against two women...Bayley would find an unlikely savior to her certain demise. Paige spent weeks expressing her disdain over the state of the division, and she's now done something about it. But by helping Bayley regain her job, has she now put her own in danger? Her future perhaps may be uncertain, but tonight...it's not about her, or what she did. It's about the result of her actions, it's about Bayley. Tonight live in the middle of that ring, Bayley meets Layla to sign her official XWL contract!
Two weeks ago saw an Intercontinental Champion crowned, when Sheamus defeated both Austin Aries & Matt Sydal in a Triple Threat Match. A victory that has not only ignited a fire under the new champion himself...but the fallen challengers as well. Last week Austin Aries and Matt Sydal would not only have a run in backstage before their one on one contest against one another, but their match would see a not so conclusive finish. Matt Sydal with the help of the ropes, would pin Aries...but due to the nature of how he got that pin, and the look on Austin's face last week...things may not be over between these two men, at least as far as Aries is concerned. How will last week's controversy effect tonight, when Matt Sydal goes one on one, in a non-title encounter with Sheamus, the man that didn't pin him to become champion two weeks ago? Will Matt show why he should get another shot at Sheamus, or will Austin decide to show up and stake his claim at the Intercontinental title instead? Perhaps Sheamus will dispose of both gentlemen just as he did two weeks ago, and shutdown their hopes of getting another crack at him? One thing's for certain, tonight one of those questions will be the answer by the time Anarchy goes off the air.
Either you're with The Authority, or you're against The Authority. Dean Ambrose is neither here nor there. Despite Stephanie's best efforts, to mold Dean into the man that did her "dirty work" she would fail and succeed, last week...but not in the way she wanted to. For while Dean would not do her bidding, he would damn sure do the bidding of The XWL Universe. He would rough up, not Suicide, or Randy Orton as Stephanie flat out demanded previously...but instead J& J Security. Not able to protect themselves from the onslaught, both J's would give Dean the leverage he needed for what not he wanted, but what the fans wanted. A World Heavyweight Championship match between himself, and Randy Orton! Having beaten the champion once before on the very night Randy won the title in the first place...his claim for a title match was accepted...and in The Main-Event, lightning would strike twice when he would do what no one else still had done, and defeat Randy Orton again, this time, for The World title! However, always one step ahead...It's as if The Authority knew what was coming, because before Dean's championship victory, saw the unexpected reveal of another jewel in the Authority's crown. Finn Balor returned with the blessing of the big bad McMahon herself, Stephanie. The rebirth of Finn Balor as he called it, rising up from the ashes of obscurity, to take what is rightfully his. Is it any coincidence that his first match back tonight, will be against the new World Heavyweight Champion? With a guarantee from Balor himself, that he will reach new heights in 2016...Dean's reign may already be in jeopardy.
At Breakthrough, we saw a rematch, under new terms, for The Womens Championship. Tonight, we see THE rematch, of the rematch. It all started on the second edition of Anarchy back in November, Eva Marie the hot new prospect, would meet Madison Rayne, and become a growing statistic on The Killer Queen's undefeated streak. That next week, would see the start of a tournament, one that would see the crowning of a Womens Champion. They both had their own journey to the finals, Eva bouncing back from defeat more determined than ever, and Madison remaining ever so dominant, going into Breakthrough as the odds on favorite. But The Red Queen would attain sweet redemption, when she not only would "kill" The Killer Queen's undefeated streak, but her hopes of becoming Womens Champion when she took the title for her own. Despite the fact that both women were obviously more focused on the title than making friends, Eva and Madison would attempt to play "nice" with one another, however...there are no friendships when it comes to championships, especially when you're put in a Handicap Match against a woman that nearly ruined your match together at Breakthrough, and then through outside interference, and your own distraction, you fail at getting payback. Which has lead us to tonight, the rubber match. Each holds a victory over one another, each has given the other their first defeat, and each of these two women claim to be a "Queen." So now, the one true "crown" is a stake. Will Madison Rayne, after years of trying, at long last capture the coveted title? Will Eva Marie once again reign supreme, and keep her hold of the "throne" that is The Divas Division? Once again, rookie meets veteran, and this time...not only is it for The Womens Championship...it's their moment in history, as for the first time ever, they Main-Event. One of these women will be seeing red when all is said and done, but will it be Madison as she lays there watching Eva stand over her victorious...or will it be Eva, furious at the sight of Madison with her title?

The graphic appears on the Titantron for tonights Main Event, "The Future of XWL" Seth Rollins vs "The Best in the World" CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. Just a mere glimpse of the hometown hero sends the Chicago crowd into a frenzy of cheers, they can't wait to see their guy come to the ring and defend his Championship in his city, in front of his people but Seth Rollins along with J&J Security hope to put a hitch in that plan with a chance of Seth ROllins leaving the biggest event of the year holding two of the most coveted Championships in the business. It's not too long before chants for the hometown boy being to chanted like an anthem.
"CM PUNK!" "CM PUNK!" "CM PUNK!"
On any ordinary night, with these two men facing one another the fans would be biased to begin with but tonight it has been cranked up to 11. Seth Rollins will be walking into very hostile environment, needless to say nobody wants to see Rollins leave here tonight World Heavyweight Champion and there are signs scattered throughout the arena stating that if that be the case, Chicago will riot.
Already a bitter taste in the back of the fans mouths as Seth Rollins has already secured the Intercontinental Championship without even lifting a finger and having his two cronies do his dirty work for him. The lights in the arena go out, submerging everyone into a sea of darkness. The only remaining light comes from the titantron where the graphic for tonights main event is still being displayed until that too fades to black.
A sickening reminder of just what Seth Rollins has done over the past couple of months from the fallout and wars with his former brothers of The Shield to alligning himself with Stephanie McMahon and The Authority, the hype clip has left a crowd which was already against Seth Rollins angry. Boos rain down from the Chicago crowd in anticipation of the man they're about to see and no later than expected...
That what was just needed to send the crowds boos and jeers into overdrive, the man who it seems the entire World openly and publicly despise but Rollins being Rollins doesn't seem to notice, as he walks out and acts as though the Chicago faithful laid out the red carpet for The Future's arrival. With his security either side, battered and bruised from their hellacious ladder match with Alex Shelley and Dean Ambrose, J&J Security stand proudly by Seth Rollins as he raises the prize that the fought so hard to achieve over his head.
Everyone seems to think Rollins being Champion is undeserved and feel Alex Shelley is still the rightful Champion and if not for the falling out between the two partners that may very well have been the case but Shelley knew the risks heading into his match, the stipulation was in place and you can't trust Ambrose as far as you can throw him. The Authority's plan worked like a charm and regardless how the people think, rules are rules, Seth Rollins is the rightful Intercontinental Champion and now he's heading to the ring to try and lay his claim to the World Heavyweight Championship.
Rollins climbs up the turnbuckle, J&J direct everyones attention towards "The face of XWL" as throws the Intercontinental Championship over his head, he chuckles to himself as he lowers the Championship onto his shoulder and holds up his index finger and can be seen mouthing "One down. One to go" Letting the World know that soon the space on his other shoulder is reserved for the World Heavyweight Championship. He stands tall in the middle of the ring, basking in his moment, despite his moment suffering abuse from the capacity crowd it seems to bounce off the {#}1{/#} Contender until the lights once again turn off.
The hometown crowd seems to have forgotten that Seth Rollins has even made an appearance because the hate that once filled the arena was quickly replaced by cheers and chants for the World Heavyweight Champion. The arena is shaking, the anticipation is high and they're just dying to get their fix of the Chicagoian. "The Best in the World", in his hometown, defending his World Heavyweight Championship, in the main event of the biggest event of the year and these people just can't wait.
"CM PUNK!" "CM PUNK!" "CM PUNK!"
So long arena roof, you're no longer required. The Chicago crowd are sent into an absolute frenzy as Cult of Personality blasts through the speakers and the sound only trebles in volume as The World Heavyweight Champion, the Chicago boy walks out onto the stage accompanied by Paul Heyman. The two men stand in the middle of the stage, looking around the arena, Heyman is not usually one to care for the fans cheering or boo'ing him but even he can't help but soak in this atmosphere. Their attention turns to the ring, where Seth Rollins and J&J Security stand waiting for the Champs arrival. Punk drops to a knee, he taps his wrist twice before Heyman places his expensive looking wristwatch in front of Punk's face. Punk leans back and yells...
"IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!!"
And throws his fist through the air. Punk hands his Championship to Paul Heyman who walks closely behind him, Punk then extends his arms either side of him before pointing up at what he will be fighting so hard to keep possesion of. He spins round to face his challenger, the two men lock eyes, neither of them short of confidence and both are 100% sure that they will be leaving tonight with the World Heavyweight Championship wrapped around their waist. Punk walks out onto the apron and looks out into the sea of people that are chanting his name, he starts getting hyped up and sclaes the turnbuckles, Heyman hands him the World Heavyweight Championship and Punk throws it up high in the air and shouts...
"BEST IN THE WORLD!!"
Punk enters the ring and stands across from his opponent. Seth Rollins with J&J Security standing closely by, facing across from CM Punk who as always has Paul Heyman by his side. He must feel slightly better knowing that there will be someone looking out for him tonight, knowing how The Authority work and how J&J Security like to get involved in Rollins' matches, while still outnumbered no amount of bodies can make up for Paul Heyman's genius mind so the odds may very well be even. The two men meet in the ring and stand nose to nose, Seth Rollins raises his newly captured Intercontinental Championship in the air. Punk glances up and smirks as he raises the biggest prize in the game, his World Heavyweight Championship to which Rollins just simply stares at, knowing in his mind that this is the last time Punk's grubby hands will be on his Championship. The two men walk backwards into their respective corners, not taking their eyes off one another for a second to give no chance of the other man gaining an advantage. The bell rings and the Main Event is under way.
At this point in the match both men are beyond exhausted, they have used up the majority of the moves in their arsenal and still neither man has been able to put the other away. The stress of the situation can be seen clear on the faces of Paul Heyman and J&J Security, this is more closely contested than either side had anticipated. Both Champion and Challenger lay in the middle of the ring struggling to just make it up to their feet. They use one another to steady themselves and push their way up to a vertical base and it is there where they meet eye to eye once more. Punk hits Rollins with a short forearm which drops the challenger to a knee and is met by a huge cheer from the fans. Rollins pops back up to his feet and hits Punk with a punch to the jaw which staggers the Champion backwards into the ropes and is met by a boo from the fans. Punk uses the ropes to push himself back into the middle of the ring and lands a hard forearm to the ear which sends Rollins to the canvas briefly. Rollins uses the ropes to help himself back to his feet and propels himself back towards Punk and hits him with an elbow of his own which drops the Champion. This process continues, one after another taking their turn to strike, the crowd boo and cheer with the respective attackers until Rollins begins to get the upper hand and lands several hard shots which send Punk back into the ropes. Rollins Irish Whips but the Champ reverses and catches Rollins with a dropkick, as the challenger returns to his feet his is met by another which sends him into the corner. Punk goes on the attack with a clothesline but Rollins ducks and instead drives Punk face first into the corner with a Reverse STO. He covers...

Punk drives his shoulder off the canvas at the last possible moment, much to the relief of Paul Heyman and the Chicago crowd. Rollins can't believe it, J&J can't believe it but Rollins knows he is one more big move from putting the Champion out. He rolls under the bottom rope and stalks his opponent, waiting for Punk to return to his feet but he rolled out on the wrong side. Although not actually doing anything, Heyman's presence draws Rollins' attention momentarily before J&J Security walk around the ring post and tell Heyman to leave. Heyman obeys the order and raises his hand before making his way to another side of the ring. Rollins' eye is back on the prize, as Punk returns to his feet Rollins springboards and drives his knee forward but the distraction may have gave Punk a little time to regain his wits as he is able to use Rollins' mometum and whip him into a powerslam and in one fluid motion traps the neck and arm and locks Rollins in the Anaconda Vise. The Champ begins wrenching backwards, applying unbearable pressure and pain to the Challenger. Jaime Noble jumps up onto the apron and pulls the referee out of position. Punk pulls back once more and Seth Rollins taps! Seth Rollins is tapping out but the referee is unaware! Despite Paul Heyman pleas to turn around the referee is too busy dealing with Jaime Noble to realise what is happening in the ring.
Punk releases the hold, he is confused about why is not declared the winner of the match until Paul Heyman directs his attention to the referee being held up by Jaime Noble. Knowing he has just been robbed of a victory Punk is understandably pissed and walks over to Noble and grabs hold of his tie before delivering a hard punch to the jaw knocking Noble to the arena floor. Punk isn't done, he wants to make sure Noble can't interfere any longer, he waits for Noble to return to his feet and charges at the ropes but as he bounces back he is tripped by Joey Mercury causing Punk to stumble to his knees and in doing so gets caught by a sickening Curb Stomp!
The crowd can't believe it, they don't want to believe it as Rollins crawls into the cover but there is no count and suddenly there are huge cheers coming from the crowd as Paul Heyman has taken it upon himself to climb onto the apron and draw the referee over to him. What's good for the goose is good for the gander and Rollins well and truly has Punk pinned but like what happened to his opponent, the referee is in no position to declare him the new World Champion. The match is falling apart quickly due to outside interference, Rollins turns the referee around and asks him what's the deal and informs him that he just pinned the Champion.
Heyman uses this as his moment to remove himself from the situation and climbs down onto the floor. Mercury climbs up onto the apron to continue this arguement with the referee whilst unbeknownst to him Noble has returned to the apron and has hold of CM Punk. Rollins realises the situation and while the referee is distracted takes possesion of his Intercontinental Championship and charges towards his opponents but Punk ducks and Jaime Noble was unfortunate enough to take the Championship hit to the skull knocking him from the apron and possibly unconcious. Punk stumbles to the other side of the ring accidentally bumping the ref out of the way, making him very aware of what is going on but has no time to stop Rollins charging once more with the Championship but Punk drops to the side and Rollins accidentally takes out the other half of J&J Security. Both attempts have failed, Rollins turns and walks straight into a high Roundhouse kick to the side of the head, turning his legs to jelly and causing him to drop his Championship giving Punk the oppertunity to raise his opponent over his and hitting with a devastating GTS!
Punk falls ontop of his Challenger.

The Chicago crowd jump to their feet as CM Punk has done it! He has defeated Seth Rollins and retained his Championship in his hometown! Paul Heyman slides into the ring with the World Heavyweight Championship in hand, CM Punk is running on empty, he's not 100% with it at the moment but he manages to forces himself up onto his knees. Paul Heyman stands before him, bows his head ans hands "The Best in the World" HIS World Heavyweight Championship and Punk can't help but stare into it. With the Chicago people behind him, chanting his name you can't deny that CM Punk has achieved a dream by defending his World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of the biggest event of the year in Chicago. It's something stories are made of, Punk looks around at the crowd before finding some energy and climbing up onto the the turnbuckles. Tens of thousands of people chanting his name and Punk can't help but get hyped up, he throws the Championship high over his head and declares one more time for the whole World to hear him
"BEST IN THE WORLD!!"
And it's hard to deny that fact. CM Punk has been around XWL for a very long time, you can't mention it and not think of Punk himself. He's tells it how he sees it, he doesn't claim to be a good guy but he has backed up every single word that he has ever spoken. Chicago believes it, Paul Heyman believes it, CM Punk not only believes it but proves it that he is the Best in the World and that the World Heavyweight Championship is securely around the waist of the TRUE face of XWL, not Seth Rollins but the man that these people have been chanting for since the cameras started rolling.
"CM PUNK!" "CM PUNK!" "CM PUNK!"
Punk holding the World Heavyweight Championship high above his head with Heyman standing behind him applauding is the last image of the live XWL broadcast as it slowly fades into black.
As we return from a commercial break, Tyson Kidd is sat in a steel chair backstage. He turns off the T.V. in front of him as he just finished watching the Matt Hardy vs. Finn Balor match. "Amateurs" he mumbles under his breath. From behind he's greeted by Renee Young, who ever so gently taps him twice on the shoulder. Kidd pops up out of his seat, finding it hard to catch his breath.
Kidd Do you people have ANY sense of personal space here!? Sheesh, man, what do you want!?!?!?
Renee backs up a small bit, trying to recompose herself.
Renee Young I-I'm sorry Tyson. I just wanted to ask you a few-
Kidd What!? You wanted to ask me about Uprising, huh? About Justin Gabriel. Well, let me tell you something. Justin Gabriel is the past, and I only focus on the future. You want to know what my future is? Adam Cole, the United States "champion". I use the word champion very loosely, Renee, because that ludicrous, psychopath should NOT have any sort of title around his waist. Well . . . Maybe the Divas championship . . . Look, the FACT is that tonight I'm going to beat Adam Cole and become the new #1 contender, then, I'll beat him again! Ha ha, Renee, you know what I just noticed? Within the word FACT, lies the word CAT . . . Which, if you were in any way, shape or form good at your job, you would have started this interview off my asking me about Makaveli and how he's feeling! He's doing better by the way . . . Do you know ANYTHING at all about our feline friends, Renee? Anything? No? Shocker. Well, allow me to drop some facts on you about our beloved housepets. Did you know that a group of cats is called a clowder? CATS. A cat has been the mayor of Talkeetna, Alaska, for 15 years. His name is Stubbs. He's VERY cute, ha ha. A cat mayor, Renee, psh, I bet he'd do a better job than Obama!!! Here's one more, adult cats only meow to communicate with humans. Makaveli is ALWAYS talking to me, heh heh, you know what? I forgot to call him today! I better get going Renee, and tell him that I love him! . . . And my wife to I guess . . .
Kidd scurries off down the hallway, leaving Young with a seriously confused look on her face. "A cat for mayor?" she whispers as the screen fades out to the next segment/match.
XWL Breakdown returns from a commercial break to see the smiling faces of both King and Michael Cole.

Without warning the entire arena goes black, the sounds of a motorcycle revving up echoing throughout the stadium. King and Michael Cole don't know what to make of it as the big screen shows the face of none other than Baron Corbin.
Michael Cole Who the heck . . .
King Wait a second, Cole, that's . . .

King That was Baron Corbin, King! It looks like he's here tonight, and he has a match!
King Whoa, whoa!!! Here he comes!!!
Michael Cole I've got a bad feeling about this, King . . .
Four spotlights dot the stage as Corbin makes his manacle walk across it. Once he hits the forth one, his music picks up and he takes a deep breath, surveying the arena. The crowd is hot as he heads down towards the ring, his local athlete opponent waiting inside for him.
King I wouldn't want to be that kid right now, Baron Corbin looks like he's just been uncaged!!!
The Lone Wolf of XWL removes his jacket, never once breaking eye contact with generic local athlete #1.

Before Lillian can even finish the introductions, Corbin rushes his opponent, slamming him back first into the closest turnbuckle. The referee rings the bell as Baron quickly lifts Jerry up and gives him a nasty Snake Eyes, followed up by a career ending big boot!!! Corbin could easily get the 1, 2, 3 right now if he wanted to, but he doesn't, wanting to make good on his promise of an impact. He yanks up the lifeless body of poor Jerry what's-his-name and swings him straight into an End of Days!!! 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! Who'd of thought it to be true, Baron Corbin def. Jerry Local Athlete!!!
