Jericho does it!  Jericho beats Cesaro and advances to the Elimination Chamber match!

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 RCjxiab

Jericho is in shock at how far Cesaro took him in this match and shows it as his arm is raised in victory.  Maybe he did underestimate him after all?  Maybe Paul Heyman was onto something when he said that Cesaro had "it".  The action in this match certainly suggested so as it was back and forth from start to finish, and Cesaro showed he could hang with the best of them by taking the multi-time World Champion to his limit.  But when it was all said and done, Jericho backed up his words and once again defeated Cesaro and in the process and undoubtedly a much more sweeter outcome: silenced Paul Heyman by proving him wrong.  They can try to end his career, they can talk down to him all they want to... Jericho has defeated Cesaro twice now and backed up all of his claims of being the better man both inside and outside the ring.  And not only that, due to Paul Heyman's overconfidence and sheer arrogance, Jericho now finds himself in a surprising situation.  He also has the opportunity to become World Heavyweight Champion here tonight, albeit inside the Elimination Chamber with 5 of XWL's best and no doubt feeling much less than 100% after the showcase the world just witnessed.  But as always... anything can happen in XWL...  The fans boo the hell out of Jericho as he screams "I told you" at Paul Heyman who is on the outside.  He repeats this a couple of times before dusting his hands back and forth with a smug look on his face.... a job well done.  Jericho leaves the cage via the door but is clearly in a lot of discomfort as he holds the back of his head.  Cesaro cleaned his clock a few times, but he's been through this before.  It comes with the territory.  Jericho sheepishly begins to leave up the entrance ramp with his arm held high in triumph as Heyman scarpers into the ring to check on his fallen star/friend/puppet (your choice).  The screen then fades to a commercial from one of Eye For An Eye's sponsors, before continuing...

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 6x9Iyvy

The crowd jump their feet as the theme of Bayley hits around the arena.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 Tumblr_nbtpdf159b1qheak7o2_250

The loveable Bayley runs out from behind the curtain, spinning around clearly more excited than ever before.

Jim Ross
What a huge chance Bayley has tonight. She's been on a roll recently in XWL, and tonight she has the chance to top that off by winning the Divas Championship.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 Tumblr_nbtpdf159b1qheak7o4_250

Bayley wearing Macho Man like tassels, gives air high fives to the fans around ringside. A huge smile is across the face of Bayley who is enjoying her moment.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 Tumblr_nbtpdf159b1qheak7o7_250

She stops at top of the ramp, and raises her arms in the air as the wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men pop up at side of the stage! Bayley leans over and hugs each tube man, before heading down the ramp

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 Tumblr_nbtpdf159b1qheak7o5_250

She takes a look back the tube men, before copying them and waving her arms in the air.

Michael Cole
Look at this, she's about to enter an elimination chamber, and she can do is act like one of them stupid tube men!

Jim Ross
Oh come on Cole, She's just having fun!

Bayley gets to bottom of the ramp, and removes the tassels from her arms. Before entering the Elimination Chamber, she removes one of the headbands she is wearing, and gives it a young girl in the audience. Bayley then finally approaches the Eliminat Chamber. Her expression changes, a more serious look sets in as she takes her first step onto the steel flooring of the chamber. Bayley takes one final look around, before stepping inside the pod for the first time in her career.

The sound of a grunt, then the clatter of feet can be heard, giving off a different feel than the other entrances. One individual, dressed in what appears to be a military uniform comes out onto stage. He stands atop the ramp, brings his position to attention then one hand up to a salute he then begins to exclaim, causing the music to die out: "May I have your attention please. May I have your attention please. Fourth regiment of the queen's royal guard requesting all of you to please rise!" And, as good citizens, the crowd begins to stand. What is the queen doing here though? Of all places. However, the officer drops his salute and steps to his left, allowing the entire regiment to come down and form two lines down both sides of the ramp. They cut an inward face, then reach to their sides. Each individual draws a saber, then extends them up, creating an archway down the ramp.

Jim Ross
Well this is quite the interesting entrance.

Jerry Lawler
Gee, I wonder who this is.

Michael Cole
Maybe if you'd have a little patience you'd find out.

A few moments pass, then....

Some of the crowd members groan but the regiment keep their poses, holding the archway as Madison Rayne comes out onto stage. Without halting, she makes her decent down the ramp, obviously ready to go to war here tonight. She halts though, at the bottom of the ramp, at the last two soldiers, taking a look around. She does a royal like wave to all of her haters, then enters the hellish chamber.

Jerry Lawler
Madison Rayne's certainly making quite the entrance tonight.

Jim Ross
It's no doubt the biggest night in her career, this is a night that could change everything.

Michael Cole
And she's ready to claim her throne.

As though not phased by it. But then again, after the war she went through with LeRae months ago, this might seem like a walk in the park. Either way, she walks right up to her pod, which isn't open and yells at the ref "Open it already!" Once it is open she steps inside, being locked in, away from her friend Layla and the other competitors until the time comes.

With Madison's theme coming to an end, a new one begins and this one, due to actions earlier in the evening, elicits a very loud boo instantly.

The audience is still scorned, and you can't really blame them. The next obvious entrant is the woman that duped them all into believing that CM Punk was here. But the only one that's here right now is her.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 IyRvBamKnFACL

She steps out from the back, geared in her best, and with a determined look on her face. She stepped inside The Elimination Chamber once before, and survived it's many challenges, but tonight it's as if she's starting all over again. Stopping just at the top of the ramp, Layla pulls her hood back, fixes her hair, then does a little rhythmic shake off to get the dancing and fun out of her system, because this match is going to be anything but fun. She heads forward, undoing her jacket, and making a quick beeline for Satan's Structure.

Jim Ross
This woman made history last year when she braved this Elimination Chamber Match, and won the very first ever one to have held women.

Jerry Lawler
And she'll never let you forget about that either.

Michael Cole
Why should she? She proved something last year, and tonight she's going to prove something again. She's this company's most decorated diva, and she's as dangerous as they come.

Walking up the steps, Layla enters The Chamber, and takes a deep breath, as no doubt memories of last year flash before her. She went through a lot to win, and if she wants to come out on top again, she'll have to go through just as much if not more. The referee directs her into her pod, and it's locked shut. Unlike last year Layla won't be one of the first two women in the ring, she's got the safety of a pod, but when it's all said and done, that pod won't save her from what this chamber has in store for her, and her fellow competitors.

A hush falls over the crowd as the deep vocals of Athena’s intro fills their ears. They watch as a hooded woman walks onto the stage with a large banner bearing Athena’s logo on it and stands there for several seconds will the fabric flutters in the air.

A pulsing sound akin to the sound of a beating heart starts up as Athena’s main theme begins to play. She steps onto the stage with her signature robe on, the hood pulled over her head concealing her face from view. Athena takes a moment to gather het thoughts as the chamber waits for her arrival. What a way for somebody to make their pay per view debut, and if she manages to win it will be a hell of a way to capitalize on an opportunity, make an impact and leave a mark.

The chorus of the theme starts and in a flash Athena flips off her hood and she’s suddenly come alive and with a burst of energy she screams out “come on!” hyping herself up as well as the crowd. This is the Athena these fans want to see and they match her energy, cheering loudly as she makes her way down to the ring.

Lillian Garcia
Introducing the final challenger… from Chicago backslash St. Louis backslash Dallas...The Wrestling Goddess… A-thena!

That’s right, Athena is technically the hometown girl because she  has never forgotten where she has come from and acknowledges the places in her life that has shaped her and had a profound effect on her and helped her become the passionate, hard-working woman that she is today. As cliché as it sounds, that hard work may pay off for her tonight. She may not have as much face time as the other women in the company, but does not mean she will not be able to hand with them once that chamber door is locked.

Jim Ross
Stephanie McMahon may have played a huge role in getting Athena inside of this devilish structure, but being one of the first two women in the match certainly doesn’t put the odds in her favor.

Jerry Lawler
If you ask Athena, a part of her is probably happy to have things stacked against her like this because now if she does win she can say that she took the hardest, most grueling possible route to get her hand raised in victory.

Michael Cole
You actually think she has a chance to win when you have legends like Layla and Madison Eagles inside of the chamber with her? I can’t wait to listen to the sound of thousands of hearts breaking when Athena is not only eliminated from the match but is the first to go!

Athena reaches the foot of the stage and from there she removes her robe then bounces up and down on her toes for a bit before entering the chamber with quick, light steps, not wanting to delay things any further. Inside the chamber, Athena skips over to the corner, which just so happens to be the one directly in front of Layla’s pod, and from there Athena once again screams out “come on!” and her cry lights a fire under the crowd and in no time flat they’re chanting her name with such a raw passion that it is clear that through her actions in fighting off Layla and trying to have a respectable career she has won the people over. She hops down from the corner and steps into the center of the ring. As it stands, that is the safest place for her to be with steel and glass lurking everywhere else.

As Athena is stood alone inside the ring her theme fades out as the four challengers await the final entrant inside the Elimination Chamber, the champion, Madison Eagles. Then after a few seconds the champions music starts to play through out the arena

After a few seconds of her music playing Madison Eagles walks out onto the stage sporting her Bullet Club t-shirt and her Diva's championship in her arms as she raises the title above her head for the entire arena to see as she slowly starts to make her way down to the Chamber

Lillian Garcia
And representing The Bullet Club, from Sydney, Australia, she is the XWL Diva's Champion, Madison Eagles!

Jim Ross
A huge night tonight for the champion as she makes her way down to the Elimination Chamber, quite possibility the most testing match up in XWL, and you can't fancy her chances to walk out with the gold still around her waist.

Michael Cole
Not only that though, but Madison has never stepped foot inside the Chamber before, that can't be a good thing for her.

As Madison reaches the steps leading up to the Chamber, she stands at the bottom of the steps looking up into the Devil's Playground as she removes her Bullet Club t-shirt and throwing it to one side before walking up the steps and entering the Chamber

Jerry Lawler
But sometimes ignorance is bliss. Maybe having not experienced the Chamber before is why Madison is so confident going into this match, she doesn't know what it's like to be locked inside the Chamber.

Michael Cole
And it could of been much worse for her, remember Stephanie McMahon told Madison that she had to select the sixth participant in this match herself, something that Madison did not do.

Jim Ross
I can't say it's ever a good idea to defy a McMahon, but with Madison starting this match in the ring she could do with any advantage she can get.

As Madison enters the ring she walks around the pods staring at the Diva inside it before moving onto the next one as she measures up her competition

Michael Cole
A slight advantage it is as well, but there's still three Diva's in those pods that Madison has to outlast as well as Athena, if you ask me we could be looking at a new champion tonight.

Jerry Lawler
You can see right there, Madison staring down Bayley the woman who pinned her a few weeks ago, you know that's got to be playing in her mind.

Jim Ross
She's never been one to make allies in the right places and I'm not she'll be one to form an alliance in this match, but she knows as well as everybody else that's it's every Diva for themselves, and if anybody can get behind that logic then it's the champion.

When she's done Eagles' turns her attention to Athena standing opposite to her in the ring as Madison holds her championship up in the air before handing it over to the referee who passes it out of the chamber. Then as Madison's music fades out the referee signals for the bell

Jim Ross
She's done it!

Bayley has done it! The crowd jump to their feet in joy as the lovable Bayley overcomes the odds! Bayley almost can't believe it herself, the shock in her face is clear to see. Bayley stays down on her knees on the mat for a few moments, letting the moment sink in, knowing her dream has finally become reality.

The referee then hands her the Divas Championship and a huge smile comes across her face as she looks at it lovingly.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 FMRi1wi

Bayley just stares at the Championship as she holds it across both hands. She believed she could do it, and she did.

Jerry Lawler
Look at the joy in her face!

Jim Ross
You can see how much it means to this young lady.

Michael Cole
Yeah, well she can enjoy it while it lasts!

Bayley continues to celebrate her victory, going from turnbuckle to turnbuckle showing off the Divas Championship in one hand, and giving fans an air-high five with the other hand. Bayley stands in centre of the ring, still with a huge smile across her face. She raises the championship high once more and is about to exit the ring until....

The crowd erupts as a familiar theme hits.  The shock on Bayley's face which was already present intensifies as the music of her best friend Paige begins to play.  Is she really here?

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 TYqJdO9

She is!  Paige is here!

Jim Ross
It's Paige!  Bah gawd!  Paige is here!  She's back!

Michael Cole
We haven't seen Paige since... well... forever!

Jerry Lawler
And doesn't she look great?  And what better time to return than to celebrate your friend fulfilling their lifelong dream!  Look at Bayley's face... just when you thought this moment couldn't get any more special for her...

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 Tumblr_mq5w5nCZi61qzkr3vo2_250

As Paige descends down the ramp, Bayley can hardly believe her eyes.  Two of her dreams have come true tonight.  She's become Divas Champion... AND Paige is back!  How could this night be any better?

Paige grins from ear to ear as she climbs the steel steps.  She claps and nods in acknowledgement of Bayley's big accomplishment before climbing through the ring ropes.  As quick as a flash, Bayley darts at her and grabs her in one giant vice-grip hug! After a few moments, Paige breaks free pushing Bayley away...A  worried looks comes across the face of Bayley, as Paige just stares at her until...

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 Tumblr_n738bkVxXW1sg31w3o1_250

Paige hugs Bayley! The worried look on Bayley's face is replaced by a huge smile as she hugs Paige back. After hugging for a few seconds, Paige lets go and raises Bayley's hand! Bayley holds up the Divas Championship in the other hand. Bayley seems to still be in shock that not only is her best friend back, She's now the Divas Champion.  We see Bayley and Paige leave the ring together, has Eye for an Eye continues.

As Bullet Club's music plays through out the arena Karl Anderson gets back onto his feet and the referee hands him over his newly won United States championship

Michael Cole
He's done it, we've got a new United States champion!

Jim Ross
It was a hard fought victory over a very game, Drew McIntyre, but it just wasn't meant to be. Hats off the Anderson.

Michael Cole
We heard him earlier tonight, he said he was going to go walking out with the title, and he's going to be doing just that. I'm sure him and the Bullet Club are delighted right now, and their night could get a whole lot better later on when AJ Styles enters the Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Justin Roberts
And the winner of this match, and NEW United States champion, the Machine Gun...

As Justin Roberts announces Karl Anderson's nickname, Anderson cocks his arms like a gun before mimicking firing his gun in a wide spread as the sound of Machine Gun fire blasts over the PA system

Justin Roberts
Karl Anderson!

Anderson raises his championship above his head in the middle of the ring as the referee raises his arm in the middle of the ring

Jerry "The King" Lawler
Don't get me started on the Bullet Club, but you can't deny Karl Anderson this moment, his first piece of gold in XWL and I'm sure it's one he'll remember for a long time.

Jim Ross
But you can't help but think that had Drew McIntyre been at one hundred percent then this one could of ended differently, it surely was a gutsy performance by McIntyre but it just wasn't meant to be.

When Anderson exits the ring and starts to make his way up the ramp the camera stays focused on him for a few more seconds before fading out to black

I might be in the minority, but I hate when people do this before the show is over, especially bumping to a new page with it. give people a chance to read the show.

Highly agree with Dash on this one. Kinda spoils it for those who have not read so in my opinion it would be better to just wait until the ppv is over.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 ZVw3Csd

The lights in the arena dim down and everyone knows what's coming next as the spotlight draws on the Elimination Chamber, which is slowly lowered down around the ring.

-Lillian Garcia-
Ladies and Gentlemen, the following is the Elimination Chamber match, and is for the World Heavyweight Championship!

….

The World Heavyweight Champion's music hits, receiving a loud, negative reception from the attending crowd here tonight.

-Jim Ross-
Here we go ladies and gentlemen, we've seen this hellacious structure used twice before tonight, once to kick off the show as The Wyatt family were scheduled to compete against Adam Cole, Alex Shelley, and with a last minute surprise, their tag team partner, Chris Sabin!

-Jerry Lawler
As you would say J.R, it was set to be quite the slobber knocker, and once it was revealed that Chris Sabin had been viciously assaulted, things looked grim for Adam Cole and Alex Shelley, that is until Cole chose the easy way out, locking Alex inside the chamber with three sadistic human beings.

-Jim Ross-
Alex was betrayed, betrayed by the man who he, out of the kindness of his heart, offered to help, and he suffered for it. The Wyatt Family beat the hell out of the detroit machine gun inside the Elimination Chamber.

-Michael Cole-
Adam Cole did what he had to in that situation, it was either kill, or be killed, and I dare say, he made the right decision.

-Jerry Lawler-
You would say that.

The camera continues to pan around the arena as Cena's music plays.

-Jim Ross-
BUt that was only the first time. Just a couple of moments ago, we sat here and watched as five of XWL's toughest, fiercest ladies stepped inside that squared circle and unleashed hell on eachother.

-Jerry Lawler
Usually I can't keep my eyes off the ring when there are puppies inside it JR, but tonight, even I had to look away on more than one occasion!

-Jim Ross-
But at the end of it all, we watched as Bayley stood tall

As Cena's music starts to speed up, he finally makes his appearance, stepping out through the curtains and onto the stage, the World Heavyweight Championship sat firmly around his waist, he looks out to the crowd that once worshiped the ground he worked on, but now can't even stand to be in the same room as him, and he isn't sure what to think. He shrugs it off, he's got a title defence to think about tonight. He's only held this championship for a month, he beat Shawn Michaels to get it, and he defended it against Shinsuke Nakamura, but tonight he had to defend against five other men in Shawn Michaels, Eric Young, AJ Styles, Alex Shelley, and Chris Jericho. Needless to say, the odds aren't in his favour, and he knows it.

-Lillian Garcia-
Introducing first, from West Newbury, Massachusetts, weighting in at 251 pounds... He is the World Heavyweight Champion, JOHHHHHN CENAAAAA!!!

Cena unstraps his World Heavyweight Championship from around his waist and holds it up high for all to see, much to the disapproval of the audience.

-Michael Cole-
John Cena has the entire world against him here tonight, but I truly believe he has what it takes to come out on top here

-Jerry Lawler-
Please, Cena has no chance, and he only has himself to blame for that.

Yelling out “THE CHAMP IS HERE”, Cena darts forward and sprints down the ramp to the ring, making his way up the steel steps into the chamber, he surveys his surroundings, looking from pod to pod, he places his hand on the cold hard steel, getting a feel for the chains he's about to be trapped within. He doesn't even get the chance to step into the ring before the XWL officials start to lead him to his pod, closest to the entrance. The referee takes the championship away from a reluctant Cena as he steps into the pod. The officials shut the door and start to chain it up, locking the champion behind the glass screen as his last thoughts going into this match start to play on the titantron.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 DQaDgM6

[John Cena]
The Elimination Chamber! Tonight, I defend my championship against five of XWL's biggest stars... Or at least that's how it's been advertised... What a joke... It's bad enough that I have to defend this at all, but against five people, inside the Devil's playground?... The only one of those five who even deserves this opportunity is Shawn Michaels... The other four, they're simply nothing but puppets to Vincent Kennedy McMahon. If this were anything other than a personal attack against me, it would be John Cena vs Shawn Michales with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line... But no, because an old, senile fool can't seem to handle a man getting close to his daughter, he forces me to defend against four other shmucks... Well I'm afraid I've got some bad news for you Vince... See, whether these people believe it or not, I'm a fighting champion, and I'm prepared to do anything to hold onto the World Heavyweight Championship... Even if that means that by the end of the night, XWL will be out five superstars...

The titantron fades out and we return to ringside, the camera pans in to take one last look at Cena through the glass before the next man makes his entrance.

-Michael Cole-
Some strong words there from our World Heavyweight Champion, he's got a taking no prisoners, can-do attitude, and tonight, he's going to do what it takes to keep that championship.

-Jerry Lawler
Yeah, even if that means whining and complaining about being in the match in the first place... I have no idea what happened to make Cena like this, but I curse whatever it was that did.

The crowd cheers when Alex Shelley’s theme hits but whether or not he’s even fit to compete is still the question on everyone’s mind. The Wyatts decimated Shelley earlier in this very structure and it’s a surprise that he’s even considering stepping back inside of it, on the very same night nonetheless. But that’s the kind of man that Shelley is: a fighter who doesn’t know when to quit – he spent a year chasing a tag division for crying out loud – and with this being the closest he’s gotten to the World Championship since Money in the Bank, this is an opportunity he’s not going to let pass him by – even if he has to push his body past its limit to do so.

-Jim Ross-
Come on, Alex, think with your head and not your heart for a second…you should be at home or getting receiving medical attention, this is absolutely the last place that you need to be right now.

-Jerry Lawler-
He can’t hear you, JR. The only thing he can hear right now is the sound of his name being announced as the winner and new XWL World Heavyweight Champion.

-Michael Cole-
Well he’s only going to be hearing that in his dreams because there’s absolutely no way he’ll ever walk out as champion, and I’m not even taking his health into consideration!

Shelley walks onto the stage and between the bandages nearly covering his entire torso and the visible stiches on his forehead, the man looks like he just escaped from the hospital after getting his by a truck – and he probably doesn’t feel much better either. Still, he willed himself out here tonight and even though his wincing with every step tells a part of the story, the fact that he’s enduring the pain to be out here shows just how much winning the top prize in the company means to him.

-Lillian Garcia-
Introducing the first challenger… from Detroit, Michigan…weighing in at 214 pounds… Alex Shelley!

Just like earlier in the night, the Detroit native assumes his Shingeki no Shelley pose, parting his legs on the stage, then placing one fist over his heart and the other behind his back while several of the members in the audience try and do the same. With Cena being a lost cause, the fans are hoping someone they can cheer for can walk out as champion and through some miracle Shelley may just be that man. The camera cuts over to Cena, hopping up and down in his pod, trying to keep the muscles loose, who looks focused and intent on leaving the chamber the same way he walked in. Then something happens that eats away at his composure…

-Jim Ross-
This music sounds a little too familiar… Stephanie wouldn’t go this far would she? Replacing the man in the chamber is one thing; trying to replace him in the company is completely different.

-Jerry Lawler-
Well you heard what she told Shelley earlier: the only reason why she approached him was because she hoped that his inclusion would get the Japanese fan base off her back after what happened to Shinsuke Nakamura.

-Michael Cole-
Just when I thought I couldn’t like this guy any less. This is like two guys who don’t deserve to be in this match bundled into one terrible package!

Shelley looks behind him, but then quickly realizes what’s going on here and at this point there’s nothing he can do but probably dedicate this match to Nakamura and call it a day. Micmicking his actions from the first time he made his entrance, Shelley points his “gun” right at Cena and then “shoots” it but Cena doesn’t seem to be amused shouting, “this is bulletproof glass, you idiot!” Shelley grins despite the pain, and begins making his descent down the ramp while a video begins to play of his final thoughts on this match.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 Shellques8

-Alex Shelley-
Do I think I have what it takes to walk out as the World Champion? Well that’s a silly question. If I didn’t think I had a chance I would have stayed in the hospital bed or in hell or wherever The Wyatt’s tried to send me instead of getting back into that ring tonight. Sure, I may be a little sore from earlier, and yeah, sure the other five men I’ll have to go through are some of the best XWL has to offer, but even the slightest chance is better than no chance in hell, right? Chris and I dreamed of the day one of us would hold that championship in our hands and feel as though everything we’ve put our bodies through for over 10 years was worth it. Last year he had his chance; tonight it’s my turn. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Shingeki no Shelley. As long as my heart is still beating I’m going to fight for these people who have never given up on me and I’m going to give everything this body has left to offer so I can capitalize on an opportunity that’s been long overdue. So come on, boys. Bring your A-game to the chamber and I’ll show you why your best is nothing compared to mine. September twenty-first twenty-fourteen will go down as the night Alex Shelley finally lived up to his potential and I’m happy those other five men will get to share that moment with me.

The camera cuts back over to real time where Shelley takes a deep breath before entering the chamber and he looks over at Cena’s pod and does the “You Can’t See Me” taunt, though Shelley’s version has him giving Cena the finger! Shelley is escorted over to his chamber and watches in amazement as The Ref simply slides the door open and Shelley says, “So there’s more than one way to get inside one of these.” Once he gets inside, the pod is locked and now with two of the six men already out, everyone eagerly awaits the next entrant.

-Lillian Garcia-
Introducing next, from Nashville Tennessee, weighing in at 225 lbs, Showtime, Eric Young!

The crowd comes to life with cheers galore, kids and adults alike all clapping to the beat. Then, out onto stage comes Eric Young. Dressed in pink and black, a new attire as he begins to bob his head and clap his hands. He looks up and smirks at the crowd, knowing deep down that this is his moment.

-Michael Cole-
Though I am not a fan of Eric Young, I do think this crowd is behind him here tonight.

-Jim Ross-
Why shouldn't they be Cole? The underdog story is always the best!

-Jerry Lawler-
Do you still consider him an underdog JR? I sure don't. This man is a main player and he's out here to prove it tonight!

-Michael Cole-
I'm also getting word that now, a video will be played of Eric's thoughts, taken just moments ago.

Just as Cole said, the video package begins to play, revealing Eric Young, backstage. It appears as though he is about to go on, bouncing around, water in hand and earphones in. A man, dressed in a suit walks up next to him and taps him on the shoulder. Eric pulls out a headphone and the guy whispers in his ear.

{{Eric Young}}
Oh right. I forgot.

Eric turns to the camera and walks up to it, prepping to speak.

{{Eric Young}}
So uh, tonight's the night huh? I'm excited, but kind of nervous. This is the big one, the one that I'm going to be trapped inside of a chamber with five other men, battling it out for the title. Two of which aren't named yet. I'm confident though. I mean, all jokes aside, I feel as though this is it. I've worked hard to earn this spot and it's time for me to finally take it. Hell, last week I got a pin over the champ. Why shouldn't I feel a little bit confident? Tonight's about three things. First and foremost, having fun. What's the point in doing it if I'm not having fun? Second, the title. I'm walking out of here with it around my waist. Third, making sure AJ walks out with no teeth, and no title. It's go time.

Young darts out of frame as the camera cuts back to Young, standing outside of the chamber. He looks it up and down, then to Cena, who shows him no sympathy. Then to Alex. Eric, like a kid seeing another outside of school, waves awkwardly. Shelley cocks a smile, hard not to during Eric's odd moments.

Eric takes a deep breath then climbs the stairs into the structure. He slowly walks over to an open pod, then shakes his head. He looks at the crowd, which happen to be chanting "EY, EY, EY!" time and time again, then back to the pod. He steps in, and looks down, attempting to calm down from whatever it is that's bothering him. Maybe he's getting nervous. Maybe he's getting pumped. Maybe he's claustrophobic. Nonetheless, the ref slides the pod closed and locks it, leaving Eric to his own thoughts.

The crowd erupts as the theme of The Showstopper Shawn Michaels blasts out around the arena. Fans are on the feet as Michaels walks out from behind the curtain, in his usually hyped up fashion. He walks down the ramp, touching hands with fans has he goes.

-Jim Ross-
Despite doing everything there is to do in this business, Shawn Michaels still feels like he as something to prove. Let's take a look at what The Heartbreak Kid had to say earlier tonight.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 0lHeknx

[Shawn Michaels]
Over the past few months, It feels like I've got complacent. I'm slipping  back down to where I was once....After working harder than ever before to get back to the top of this business, It went away in an instant. Tonight, I have the chance to get back on top, the chance to be where I want to be. There's no Dean Ambrose to stop me, no Shield. Tonight, It's all down to me. There's going to be no excuses, the one thing everybody knows about the Elimination Chamber....It's always the best man wins. It's about who has that instinct to survive. I've been there before and I've gone the distance, I know what its like to step inside the chamber, I know the pain you have to endure to come out on top. I'm willing to do that, I'm willing to bleed, I'm willing to hurt...Just to take back that World Heavyweight Championship  .

The video cuts back to ringside, as Shawn Michaels is just about to walk up the steps to the steel structure. He walks up the steps, and takes his first step inside the chamber. He looks around and up the roof of the chamber before entering the ring.

-Jim Ross-
There's no denying that Shawn Michaels wants this, but He's facing some tough competition tonight. He's going to have to give it his all if he's going to walk out champion.

He stands in centre of the ring, takes a look over to each opponent already in their pods, with a long stare at the World Champion, John Cena.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 003_el10

Shawn Michaels spins around in centre of the ring with his arms out wide. After coming to a halt he begins to remove his chaps, Throwing them out of the chamber door. He then walks towards his pod, and exits the ring. Before entering the pod, he takes a moment to look around the pod, banging on the bullet proof glass that's about to hold him inside. Finally  The Heartbreak kid enters his pod, and awaits the arrival  of the next entrant

The arena rises to their feet to cheer and boo "The Phenomenal One" as his theme begins to play. They are split 50/50 with the boo's possibly getting the slight edge over the cheer's of AJ Styles and Bullet Club fans throughout the arena. AJ steps through the curtain and walks out onto the stage with his head down as usual. He is wearing his traditional leather jacket and hoodie combo with the hood covering his head. AJ is also wearing a brand new light blue attire for tonight's special World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match. AJ in one fluent motion, flips his hood back and extends his arms in true AJ Styles fashion. Styles makes his way down the ramp paying no attention to the fans, AJ has his eyes locked on Eric Young just as EY has his eyes locked on AJ. Both men want to destroy the other but they will have too wait a little longer for the match to get underway.

AJ approaches the opening to the chamber causing the ref to use his instincts and open the chamber for AJ. Styles removes his jackets and his Bullet Club t shirt that he was wearing underneath it all before stepping into the Elimination Chamber. The referee approaches AJ and informs him that he will be starting the match therefore AJ does not have to enter the dreaded pod and wait to be released like his nemeses Eric Young did. AJ stands in the middle of the ring as his theme begins to die down and the next entrant prepares to come out.

-Jerry Lawler-
Well... that's five. And we all know who number six is...

Right on cue, the arena is plunged into darkness.  The whistles and the jeers of the fans can be heard and several raise up their phones to try and illuminate the arena somewhat. It isn't long though, until the stage is lit up slightly, by the familiar silhouette.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 QuZiftq

As the lights return and the music hits, Jericho spins around brimming with confidence. He looks like he has the bit between his teeth as this unexpected opportunity has fallen into place for him. Not only did he back up his words about Paul Heyman and Cesaro earlier tonight and defeat the Swiss Superman in impressive fashion, but right here, right now, he finally has the chance to regain his World Heavyweight Championship. He begins his descent down the ramp under the usual volley of hatred from the XWL Universe, but nothing can faze him. He might look like crap after what he has been through, but Jericho is clearly on cloud nine.

-Jim Ross-
After the brutal Steel Cage match with Cesaro earlier on tonight, one can only imagine the condition Chris Jericho is in heading into this one. Both him and Alex Shelley have the distinct disadvantage of having already competed tonight. Fatigue and pain will be huge factors for both men. The handicap against Jericho is enhanced by the fact he must start this match!

-Michael Cole-
Jericho likes to say that he is the best in the world but I think that this is too much even for him.

-Jerry Lawler-
I don't care how good you are, the human body isn't meant to withstand a Steel Cage match and an Elimination Chamber match in one night... just one of them is enough! Beating The Rock and Stone Cold in one night is one thing, but this is a completely different story!  I think it could be an early night for Jericho in this one, but history tells me I'd be an idiot to count him out.

-Jim Ross-
He's not the most decorated champion in XWL's history without reason King. While his methods may be questionable, more often than not, Jericho gets the job done.  But this is one impossible job if you're asking me, but the opportunity is there. Any one of these six men could walk out victorious here tonight and write their names into the history books. But all six will walk out as changed men, that's for sure. You cannot compete or survive a Chamber match without picking up some kind of baggage. Whether that's mental or physical, the Chamber leaves it's mark.

-Michael Cole-
We are just moments away ladies and gentlemen. But before this one gets underway, here is what Chris Jericho had to say about being a last minute addition to this match-up.

Another video package from the backstage area begins to play. This one seems as though it literally took place moments ago as the theme music of Shawn Michaels can be heard off in the distance as he was making his entrance into Satan's Structure. Jericho is shown approaching the cameraman.

-Interviewer-
Jericho! Jericho! Any final words?

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 HVWxbq

The smirking Chris Jericho walks away, unusually rejecting the chance to voice his thoughts. Maybe he took one too many bumps to the head inside the cage? The PPV feed resumes...

-Jerry Lawler-
Well, that was different.

-Michael Cole-
Can you blame him? Jericho is a master of the ring. Why should he tell the whole world his thoughts or his gameplan right before heading into arguably the biggest match of his career?

-Jerry Lawler-
I guess you have a point... and well... look at Jericho now...

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 8GL9MAz

Jericho stops an inch from the ring, frozen with a cold purposeful stare fixed upon the squared circle and AJ Styles who is standing over in the corner. Each of the four men in the pods eye him intently, knowing he is as much of a threat as he ever is.  Perhaps even more so now that he's clearly hurt and in pain... like a wounded animal backed into a corner against seemingly impossible odds.  Jericho enters the ring and removes his jacket.... the bell sounds... IT'S ON!

JERICHO DOES IT!

-Jim Ross-
JERICHO!  BAH GAWD! CHRIS JERICHO IS THE CHAMPION!  WHAT A MATCH!  WHAT A STORY!

-Jerry Lawler-
That match was something.  Who would've thought both men who had already competed here tonight would end up as the final two?

The groans of the crowd are clearly mixed in with the boos now raining down on Jericho. Alex Shelley was so close. Closer than anyone could have imagined him coming. This was his time. But it was stolen away from him in the blink of an eye by a Codebreaker. Jericho reigns once again.

-Jim Ross-
Jericho claims to be the best in the world and after tonight... after beating Cesaro inside a Steel Cage... and after defeating five of XWL's elite superstars inside the Elimination Chamber... who would argue that fact?

-Jerry Lawler-
I'm sure a lot of people would JR.  But you're right, the history books don't lie.  Jericho has picked up two huge victories here tonight and is World Heavyweight Champion... and I'm starting to lose count of how many times I've said that.

Held down by fatigue, Jericho remains sat on the canvas as the official brings over his newly-won World title. Through his own pain and anguish, Jericho manages to smirk that smirk of his as he looks at the title lovingly. In his mind, it's finally back where it belongs.

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 T8jQ0PS

-Michael Cole-
What a moment this is.  What a night it has been.  This is why no other entertainment comes close ladies and gentlemen.  This is why XWL is so great.

Jericho's legs have finally returned to life and he rises, standing over Shelley who has yet to move an inch, no doubt both physically and mentally beaten by this crushing defeat. Jericho takes no time to rub the fans' or Shelley's noses in his victory and obviously just wants to take the title and run from all this negativity and get to a soothing shower or a comfy hospital bed for some much-needed R&R after two hellacious matches and top level performances here tonight. Against all the odds, he has added yet another feather to his cap and another accolade to the seemingly endless ever-growing list of achievements against his name.

-Jim Ross-
We thank you for tuning in for this historic even folks.  This is one event I will not be forgetting in the future.  This is the night where we saw spectacular matches, interviews, action.  We've seen highs, lows.  We've seen drama... we've seen comedy... we've seen hellfire and brimstone.  We've seen it all here tonight at Eye For An Eye.  And when all the dust settled, that man right there, Chris Jericho is the new World Heavyweight Champion.  Be sure to join us for Breakdown this coming Friday for the fallout of this phenomenal show, but for now... we bid you goodnight everybody...

XWL Eye For An Eye: 9/19/2014 - 9/26/2014 - Page 2 EidAxH3

Jericho turns, holding his head with his title raised as Alex Shelley begins to stir. The agony on his face as he looks at Jericho is in stark contrast to the look on Jericho's face as they both exchange a glance. He's close to tears while Jericho is on top of the world. The camera focuses on both their expressions for a few moments before settling on Jericho holding his title up high, once again as World Heavyweight Champion, as the broadcast fades to black before going off the air...

A huge congratulations to all four NEW Champions, great stuff, activity kicked up for this show so that was nice to see. I know the new game anticipation is playing a part in people losing that excitement to do stuff on 14 right now but we thank all of you that contributed to this show and great job.
