And, we originally thought that Paige would walk away with the Divas Title...but that didn't happen, as Madison Eagles cashed in on a vulnerable Paige after her successful title defense against Layla!
| Jerry Lawler | Of course, we also saw Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose retain their respective titles, and heck, Dean Ambrose did it in a Street Fight against Stone Cold Steve Austin, himself! What do you call him, JR? The baddest SOB in XWL? Well I think that honor is now Ambrose's!

Alicia tilts her head towards the announce desk with a look of confusion as Cole grabs a microphone, speaking towards Alicia with a cocky smirk on his face.
| Michael Cole | For a girl who can't even beat Paige when the pressure is on, you always have to talk a big game, don't you Alicia!? You can't even beat Layla! Or Madison Eagles! I bet....I bet you probably won't even be able to beat AJ Lee tonight.
Alicia's head tilts in the other direction. Quickly, she exits the ring, sitting on the ring apron staring at Michael Cole.
| Alicia Fox | Oh, Michael. Lemme...lemme tell you something real fast.
With a feigned, sickly sweet smile, Alicia drops to the floor, strolling up to the announce desk. She drops the mic and places her hands on the announce desk, looking Cole in the eye...
| Michael Cole | Okay, you threw King's crown, I...
| Alicia Fox | These people, the guys and gals and the back, we are sick, sick, sick and tired of you and your whiny-ass mouth running like a damn faucet all the time, boy!
The crowd cheers at Alicia's mini-meltdown, a scowl on her face as she grabs Cole by the tie, yanking him forward until they were face to face.
| Alicia Fox | You don't think I'm championship material? I'll show you....championship...material.
| Jim Ross | Oh my gosh!
The crowd pops as the loud smack echoes throughout the arena! Alicia cocks her head back and forth with a devious grin.
| Jerry Lawler | Hey! Calm down!
A crazed look grows in the Diva's orbs as she hops back down, grabbing Michael's notes and ripping them up. Slowly, she straddled the still downed commentator's chair.
| Alicia Fox | AM I CHAMPIONSHIP MATERIAL!? HUH!? SAY IT, COLE! SAY I'M CHAMPIONSHIP MATERIAL!
| Michael Cole | Mm! Mm!
| Alicia Fox | SAY IT! AM I CHAMPIONSHIP MATERIAL NOW!?
The crowd is in a shock as Alicia seems to have undergone a complete mental breakdown. With a sigh, she shoves Cole over, leaving JR and King in shock as she steps back up onto the table and dropping down on her feet. A few officials tend to Cole as he removes the notes from his mouth.

Alicia grabs JR's hat off his head, placing it onto her own.

Alicia walks up the ramp leaving all three commentators and the entire crowd completely flabbergasted as Breakdown cuts to a commercial.

Standing by himself, a microphone in hand, and a purpose behind this segment, Byron Saxton prepares to address The XWL Universe.
[Byron Saxton] Greetings everyone, as always I'm Byron Saxton and in just a moment I'll be joined by a former Divas Champion, the woman that came up just a little shy of recapturing her prize. But first, a reminder of what transpired last night. Layla and Paige, the fifth and final match of their length series, from friends, partners, to enemies, and opponents. It was a Submission Match that would see a grand display of heart, talent, and dedication. Neither woman wanted to give up, but in the end, lighting struck twice for The Anti-Diva, but a new storm soon arose. Madison Eagles would make good on her promise to cash in, and do what Layla failed to, dethrone Paige. Naturally Paige is going to have a lot to say about what happened, and how she lost the title she fought so hard to finally win, but right now joining me is my guest at this time, Layla.
Not yet dressed to compete, Layla steps to the right of Saxton, a little disheartened by how things went last night. She sighs, putting on a faint, but forced smile and waving to the camera with less excitement than usual.
[Byron Saxton] A tough night for you, Layla. I'm sorry things didn't fall in your favor, how are you doing?
Her head hangs, her bottom lip curling under, her eyes looking from left, to right.
I can't coat my answer in sugar, I'm a tad...maybe a little more than a tad, upset. I gave it my all, I trained every day for it, I got inside her head, I...I did everything to prepare myself for anything. I had her, I had her...I know it, if I...if I just didn't ease up, I shouldn't have tried to catch my breath, I shouldn't' have let go until her hand slapped her thigh. I blew it, she was right there, she...she was done. One lapse in judgment, and here I am, back at the bottom.
[Byron Saxton] It's understandably difficult to find a bright side to this, you're usually quite positive, for whatever it's worth I'm sorry. I'm sure you'll get her next time.
But there's not going to be a next time, Madison beat me to it. She deserves it, I mean...when I was Miss Money in The Bank, I didn't target a borderline defenseless opponent...but I realize that's the "smart" tactic. I can't help but feel bad for Paige though, even after everything we've been through these past two months, she didn't deserve that.
[Byron Saxton] Paige did seem to be in no condition to fight, but Madison did say she'd be cashing in, so it's almost like it was a no win situation for either of you. You'd both give it your all, leave it all out there, so by the time Madison cashed in, the chances of either of you leaving with that title were drastically decreased.
Yeah, I'm not knocking her, she worked hard for that opportunity, so she does deserve to be Divas Champion, but that doesn't mean that Paige deserved to be put in that situation either. People were cheering, and I get it...it was exciting, but Paige didn't have a chance to fight, after our match we both were physically defeated, I guess that makes her one hell of an opportunist. Kudos to her, I hope she goes far with it.
[Byron Saxton] Tonight you'll be facing Candice Lerae in a rematch from your match two weeks ago, do you think you'll bounce back from Dead Mans Hand with another victory over the rookie diva?
I'd like to think that, but I just don't know. I thought I'd beat Paige, and I tapped...again...she's a nice girl, but if I don't win this, where does that leave me? Stephanie's already approached me earlier when I arrived about training me to be an interviewer, or her assistant...but I've got a lot left to do still. I don't think I should be put out to pasture.
[Byron Saxton] Maybe she just wants to give you more to do, you are dedicated, the longest tenured diva here, I'd say you're over thinking it. What about you? What do you think is next for you?
She stands there a second, at a bit of a crossroads herself. The old her would've targeted some new diva to make her life hell, but she's no longer that devious. Just as she opens her mouth, she stops in mid speech, her eyes drawn to her left, her face signaling that she's a tad weirded out. Heavy breathing becomes the mainstay sound, with both Byron and Layla standing there, completely at a loss for words, much less a proper reaction for what they're seeing. Panning to our right, the camera first shows a man rubbing his chest in a circular motion, heavily breathing making us now have the exact same sort of reaction. Moving more to the side, zooming out, the man known as Fandango stands there, near Layla though we're not exactly sure why. You could ask why for a lot of things right now, why is he here, why is he rubbing himself, why is he breathing so loudly, why is he so oiled up that he could slide across the floor as if it were a slip and slide? But before Layla could open her mouth to finally break the silence, Fandango's finger graces against her lips, shushing her before gliding his finger down her bottom lip and and then back at his.
{Fandango} Layla...
With her name having been said, Layla continues staring at Fandango, waiting for him to say something else, but he instead stands there, staring in her eyes, sliding his hand across his right pec, continuing to breathe deeply.
Um, I...
Finding this all very strange, she tries to speak, but he smoothly grabs her hand, prompting her to stop herself from finishing her thought. He pulls her delicate hand closer to him, then smiles. Not saying a word, and Layla now finding herself unable to speak, we experience a few seconds of quietness. Even the interviewer has fallen into a state of muteness. Fandango rests his other hand on top of hers, then while staring into her hazel eyes, he kisses...his hand. This is quite the unorthodox situation, typically a man kisses the woman's hand, not his own. But while she's a bit put off by this her hand remains cupped in his.
{Fandango} I believe Eric...
Releasing her hand, he suddenly brings his together, clapping in an abrupt way.
{Fandango} Clapton put it best.
Her face turns red for a second, but it returns back to it's natural complexion before he notices.
That's...that's really sweet. But listen Fan-
His two extended fingers cover her mouth, stopping her from speaking anymore, as he shakes his head from side to side.
{Fandango} No no no, you have to breathe....breathe in the A's...
Giving him a classic "are you serious" type of expression, she complies, taking a deep breath and changing her tone, although finding it part due to her accent.
Faan...
{Fandango} That's it, allow those delectable...little lips of yours to speak my name...
It looked like she was going to initially say his name, as he wanted. But after that last remark, she's stopped, no longer complying.
{Fandango} Don't be by shy Laylipop.
Layli-what now?
{Fandango} I get it, you're intimidated....to have...such a...man...like Faaaan...Daaaan....g-
Mimicking his earlier way of silencing her earlier, Layla takes a page out of Fandango's book and blocks his lips with a single finger. Ready to respond, her mouth opens, but before any words can come out, Fandango's lips press against Layla's finger, kissing it which makes her jump back and jerk her finger away.
{Fandango} You taste as....sweet...as you look.
Okay look, I don't have time for this, I've got a mat-
{Fandango} What a, coincidence...I seem to have one, too...
That's great, but I-
{Fandango} In fact....it's...your lucky night, my lovely Lay...la.
Really, because I was starting to think the exact opposite.
{Fandango} You see, Faaann...Daaan....Goooo has a match. Not just...ANY..match, Faaaaan....Daaaaaaaaan....Go is the...Main...Attraction. But he can....not....do the dance...without a lady by his side. Not just...ANY...lady. You....you Layla...are that lady. Mah lay...day.
Is he asking her to be his partner tonight? It's quite unexpected, and Layla's left standing there unsure of what to say. He starts the heavy breathing again, and that makes her a little uncomfortable, it's not a usual human trait to see...especially not this much, with someone that doesn't even know them. She remembers how he treated Lillian at the beginning of Dead Mans Hand, and knowing Layla she didn't find that to be morally right on any level. He embarrassed Lillian, does he really think she's going to set herself up for something similar?
That's....sweet. Really, it is sweet, and I'm sure you'll find a partner but it's not going to be me. I mean, I don't even have anything to wear, it's last minute, and I don't think I'm what you're looking for. So, thank you, but I can't.
Turning him down, you'd think this would dampen the strange spirits of Fandango, but he just smiles. A smile that isn't all that normal, it's not like a happy smile, an excited one, it's...well, creepy.
{Fandango} But you...can...
I can't.
{Fandango} Yes...you can.
No no, I really can't.
{Fandango} Yes...yes....yes you can.
I'm trying to be nice about this, but I've said I can't, and really after-
{Fandango} Did anyone ever tell you...that you...you...you....you....you...can?
Why did he just repeat the same word over and over, in the same slow pace, that is the exact thing you can tell is running through Layla's mind at this very instant.
....What?
{Fandango} Exactly...
I'm gonna go now...
{Fandango} I'll....stay here.
Turning to leave, she stops the second Fandango responds.
{Fandango} See you there...puddin.
She turns back around, her patience for this entirely weird situation going away rather quickly.
No, no you won't...
{Fandango} Oh, but I will.
Just find someone else, there's a locker room full of other girls. Younger, taller, blonder, you'll find someone else.
{Fandango} Faaaan....Daaaaaaan....goo sees no other. For only you, my thunder, complete the storm. In a....field of a flowers...there lives a bee...a bee that...pollinates a...flower...a flower...that...that...blooms in a full moon. A moon that is only full when....you..and I...are together.
While that was odd, and didn't make much sense, it was oddly sweet. Layla finds herself a bit softened by his words, her cheeks reddening immediately. Lasting longer than at the beginning of this conversation. She tries to hide it, but whether she wanted it to or not, that made her melt like butter.
I...I...
Stuttering, she can't seem to respond, it was both a sweet and sort of strange story, but it's sort of endearing.
{Fandango} Hush lovely...don't say a word, papa's going to buy you...a mocking bird.
Back to the "what are you talking about" moment she's had several times in this conversation, the sweetness sort of wears off, but before she can say anything, he turns away, reaching for something, which is odd because there was't exactly anything near them. But when he turns back around, in his hands are a dress, a dress that shines, a dress that he places in Layla's hands before she even knows it's there.
{Fandango} If we're going to...shine out there. You'll be needing...this.
Lost for words, Layla stares at the dress, until her eyes meet back at Fandango's. He begins to back away, stopping after a few steps, blowing a kiss in her direction, but before it has long to travel he fans the kiss back at himself, and continues walking backwards until he's out of camera view. Unsure of what just happened, what Fandango was even saying for the majority of that entire meeting, Layla raises the dress up in her hands, noticing it's perfect. It's as if it were made for only her, like, it was special...and it makes her feel special. Though she is puzzled by all of this, she can't help but smile as she stares at the stunning dress. Is this the night Layla puts back on her dancing shoes? Or will Fandango be left to tango with himself against one of XWL's current champions in the match type they successfully retained in last night?

So..Last night after My Match with Johnny he gets a damn Championship Match for what and then in the same night Runs his little Mouth about me Boy let me tell you little something I kicked your ass. i defeated more big names and stars then you can even think of doing in this business. Johnny you and your attitude make me sick son you want respect boy you got to earn that. now for the McMahon Family i had to put up with your asses in wwe and now i have to do it here and you give some kid who don't deserve a Championship Match. now i know we haven't always got along but Stephanie Vince i do respect and everything you do as owners but i don't how you run things sometimes. so... that being said i come to my opponent tonight stone cold Steve Austin oh man do we have a history stone cold i respect the battles we have had in the past tonight i am looking forward to our Match and make the better man win. now there's another matter i would like to discuss seeing on how Johnny destroyed my bike i would like to know what the authority is going to do about it.

now see my brother Kane week and week out destroying the competition i would just like to say i am proud of my brother. now then i am no push over here in the XWL and i will make this clear whoever fights me in my yard will go down and go down hard and they will fall to the cokeslam or tombstone. or maybe even a last ride to hell in this business it is either do or die and my friends the Undertaker will not die and hell even after i rise hell any where i go you will always know the Undertaker was there. i spent several years trying to find out if i had what it takes to still step in the ring with all those great superstars now some of them in the back here today has earned my respect and i would like to say thanks guys for being great superstars and coming in this ring day in and day out to wrestle and have a great show put on for those fans be it good of bad superstars each and every one of you deserve respect. and i mean that from my heart.

now i sit here day after day wondering why i am here still wrestling my streak is gone my dreams where shot and yet i am still standing right here in XWL wrestling. well i will tell you why because i am here to wrestle for you for me and to get to the top one more time and become the new XWL world Champion and sometimes i think i might be to old to do it but i don't give a good god damn i am here to put people in hell where they belong. and just for the record last night at Dead mans hand Johnny brought the monster out in me and i hate bringing that man out but lately i have to thanks to some people here in this Company. Johnny if your listening you better take my warning i might have hurt you at the paperview but you destroyed my bike so next time we cross paths i will destroy ever body part you have exacting known to man that you have. now that that is out of the way again. i would like to address another issue i have witch is that i would like to know why i can't be in the title picture or some of those guys who deserve to actually wear that damn championship around there waist. and hell i ain't even in the king of the ring damn this shit sucks but you know the Undertaker will never give up.

When XWL returns from a commercial break, Don West is shown making long, purposeful strides down a corridor as he makes his way towards a destination unknown. Always a man to proudly wear his emotions on his sleeve, those unfortunate enough to have missed Dead Man’s Hand can clearly see that the namesake of The West Side Army is not in a good mood; however, having watched the pay per view provides the necessary information to understand what has him feeling this way.
At the show, the man who has been by his side since the inception of the stable, Amazing Red, was the victim of a vicious assault by Age of the Fall, two disgruntled XWL superstars out to leave a scar on the company. Handcuffed to the ropes like some kind of petty criminal, West was unable to lend the helping hand he desperately longed to; restrained like some kind of animal, West was forced to watch as his client was beaten within an inch of his life.
From the neck down, sporting his usual getup of a pair of suit pants with a dress shirt tucked into it and a neatly fastened tie to cap it all off, West comes across as professional as he always has, but from the neck up, in those eyes weighed down by dark bags, a direct product of a dearth of sleep from then to now, troubled thoughts keeping the man’s eyes wide open under moonlit nights, West looks as angry as he’s ever been before, which is saying something because the man has dealt with a lot since debuting in this company almost a year ago.
West turns the corner and bumps into Jeremy Borash who was no doubt crushed and emotionally scarred by the tragic news that Alex Shelley has departed from the company once again. JB, gives West a warm, comforting smile and the two men share a gentlemanly handshake.
“Hey, Don! How’re you holding up?” JB asks, offering West a sympathetic ear.
West sighs dejectedly while simultaneously shaking his head; the question forcing him to relive memories he’d rather repress.
“I’ve had better days, JB, I can tell you that much,” West says while taking a handkerchief out of his pocket that he proceeds to use to dab at a bead of sweat building over his brow.
West is clearly biting his tongue, refraining from truly speaking his mind at the moment and so JB opts to change the subject, his genuine concern for an old comrade back in an old company overlapping with his interviewer instincts.
“What about Red, then? Is he holding up all right after…what happened?”
Tucking the handkerchief pack into his shirt pocket, West uses the time to gather his thoughts. “Red…man, let me tell you, JB: he took a beating, we all saw that.”
“Yeah, it was hard to watch,” JB says, “I just hope Red is able to pull through this.”
West chuckles softly, “The last thing Red wants right now is anybody’s sympathy. In fact, people are going to feel sorry for whoever he’s wrestling tonight when Red knocks them smack dab outta the King of the Ring tournament.”
JB opens his mouth to speak, but nothing comes out, as it dawns on him that he may have the unfortunate task of raining on Red and West’s parade. Being no fool, West immediately picks up on JB’s reservations and now he’s the one asking the questions.
“What’s the matter, JB? Cat got your tongue?”
JB coughs, slyly trying to bide himself some time, but West has sensed something is off and JB eventually comes to grips with the fact that he’s not getting out of this.
“Listen, Don, how up to date on you on what’s going on around here?”
“I’ll admit that I’ve been in the dark, spending every waking moment by the hospital bed of one of your good friends can do that to you. I barely had enough time to check my travel arrangements!”
JB, scratches the back of his head, unsure of how to go about this and West continues to press him.
“Out with it, JB! What’s going on? Was it something I said about King of the Ring? What? Did they pair Red against Brock or something? Don’t worry, pal, forget about what happened at the last two pay per views, Red will dig down deep and find a way to beat that meat-head.”
Before JB can respond, a voice is heard off in the distance. It’s the voice of a man, who goes on and clears his throat in a rather annoying fashion. West and JB turn to the side and watch as Bad News Barrett strolls into the picture, enveloped by an air of arrogance that only someone like him could muster up. West is the first to speak and his tone gives away his displeasure at Wade’s presence.
“Can’t you see we’re in the middle of something here?”
Wade just stares at West and laughs in the face of West before beginning to speak
“After the night you had last night, I bet you can't wait to see Amazing Red compete in King of the Ring...Well...I'm AFRAID I'VE GOT SOME BAD NEWS! Amazing Red isn't in King of the Ring, nor will he ever be in King of the Ring! He doesn't deserve or belong in a competition like King of the Ring like I do. That's why it's a travesty that Wade Barrett was left out of the King of Ring...but there is no need for you or anyone to worry, it won't be long before Wade Barrett puts an end to the mediocre title reign of Dean Ambrose!”
Wade once again begins to laugh as Don West just looks on in a confused yet angered look. Wade then walks away, laughing to himself as he walks down the hallway. The anger is still on West’s face when he turns to look at JB.
“Amazing Red… not in King of the Ring? Please, JB… please say it isn’t so.”
JB looks apologetic as he responds.
“I’m sorry, Don, he was right,” he says while fishing a piece of paper out of his pants pocket. “These are the names of the eight confirmed men in the tournament if you want to have a look.”
West can’t even bring himself to look at the paper as though that parchment were the cause of all his most recent problems. Curiosity soon begins to kick in and the plethora of nagging thoughts invading West’s head are leading him to wonder about the identities of these magnificent eight wrestlers that were deemed worthy to compete in the tournament over Amazing Red. West eventually succumbs to the urge to grab the paper and takes it out of JB’s hand.
West’s own hands are shaking as he begins to open the paper. Not out of fear, but the raw anger is already seeping through the cracks in the wall he’s put up and he knows that there’s just no way he’s going to be happy about the names he sees. He opens up the paper and his eyes zip around the page taking in every letter, every dotted i and crossed t, as the truth of the situation sinks in and his voice is just a step above a whisper when he speaks.
“These are the guys they thought were better than Amazing Red?” he says and JB quickly attempts to calm him down in some way.
“Look Don, maybe they had their own crazy reason for doing this.”
“Are you kidding me?” West’s face is beginning to turn red and he rips up the piece of paper and drops them letting them float to the ground. “Amazing Red deserves to be in this tournament over each and every one of these men. Amazing Red deserves that title shot in the main event of the next pay per view. Amazing Red deserves better than to be swept aside like this and someone deserves my foot in their backside for pulling this!”
West storms away and JB calls after him in vain.
“Don, just don’t do anything you’ll regret,” he says and this next sentence was said so quietly that we’re not even sure if these were JB’s exact words: “you’re all I have left now.”
Turning a corner, West is now a man on a mission. Gone in his eyes is the fury, replaced by determination to get to the bottom of this.
“Stephanie!” He screams out into the hallways. “Stephanie, get out here! You and me have some talking to do.”
Moments later, West finds himself standing in front of the door that leads into the General Manager’s office. A quick attempted turn of the doorknob reveals the door to be locked, but that doesn’t stop West from banging on it with as much force as he can muster.
“You can hide all you want Stephanie but you’ll never get away with this.”
A voice from behind nearly causes West to jump out of his shoes.
“I can assure you that I’m not hiding from anyone or anything, Mr. West.”
West turns around and finds himself face to face with the woman he was looking for. Stephanie’s typical cool, calm and collected disposition is in full display here and before West can respond to her statement, she steps past him and opens her office door so that she can step inside. West has been inside this office so many times they might as well provide him with his own desk and chair. For now he stands and watches impatiently as Stephanie takes a seat behind her desk.
“So, Don, is there something I can help you with?” She says in a nonchalant way that comes dangerously close to setting West off.
“You have some nerve, Stephanie,” West replies with a touch of rage creeping into his voice.
Taken aback, the General Manager almost appears to be offended.
“Excuse me?”
“You heard me,” West replies in a voice that is growing louder without him realizing. “Where do you get off not including Amazing Red in the King of the Ring tournament?”
Stephanie shakes her head in disbelief at the question being asked of her.
“In case you forgot, Don, Red was viciously assaulted at Dead Man’s Hand.”
“That doesn’t mean anything,” West begins, “because as long as there’s a breath in his body then he’ll find a way to fight. Do you really think Stone Cold or Randy Orton is rearing to go after what my clients did to them? How did Red become the odd man out?”
“He became the exception when he spent the night in the hospital. The King of the Ring is a high stakes, high pressure environment and I didn’t want to put Red at risk.”
“Red is a man who thrives on risks and—”
“And exactly that’s my point. Red’s particular style of wrestling is already dangerous on its own accord but when you combine that with the hunger to win the tournament then you’ve got a recipe for disaster.”
“Or maybe you were just afraid of an all-West Side Army main event dominating your pay per view,” West shoots back in a voice that comes dangerously close (for his job, that is) to a yell.
“I’m afraid that you’re starting to get out of line and it would be in your best interest to lower your voice.”
“Lower my voice? I want the whole world to hear just how outraged I am that Amazing Red is being punished more than the two thugs who attacked him!”
“Jimmy Jacobs being in the tournament has nothing to do what happened to Red.”
“Or maybe it has everything to do with it Stephanie, because from where I’m standing it looks like you’re giving those clowns a pat on the back and letting them get away scot-free for what they did while making us out to look at the bad guys!”
“Oh come on, Don, don’t you stand there and pull the victim card on me when you were no saint back in the day.”
West pauses and Stephanie smirks thinking she won the war of the words until West finally figures out his response.
“No, I wasn’t, but I saw the error of my ways while those two are beyond saving.”
“I’m not sure what you want me to do here, Don, my hands are tied. The tournament’s already in progress and Amazing Red’s condition is questionable at best. In fact, you should be lucky that he has a match at all.”
“No, I don’t think so. You should be lucky he’s even bothering to compete in that match after the way you ripped him off.”
Stephanie chooses to just ignore the accusation at this point because trying to convince West the decision to exclude Red wasn’t personal isn’t getting her anywhere.
“Just know that I’ll be watching that match very closely and if I see that Red’s injuries are more serious than I thought, then missing out on King of the Ring will be the least of your worries.”
West doesn’t respond to that, instead turning and walking towards the door, an action that catches Stephanie off guard.
“What? Nothing to say in response to that?”
West pauses in the doorframe, his back to the office and in an even, calm tone he says, “I want you to remember this, Stephanie. Remember tonight. Remember that I tried to reason with you.”
With that said West steps out and the screen fades as Breakdown rolls on.

The camera fades in from black and we see a door that is in a lit hallway. The door has a sign beside it that reads "Boiler Room". The camera zooms into the sign before panning back out once we hear the door squeak open. We see Candice LeRae step out of the opening from the boiler room and she is still wearing the face guard. She looks as though she had been crying in the boiler room as we see dried mascara on her face that had been running. She looks at the floor and opens the door all the way then motions for the camera crew to walk into the boiler room. Once the camera crew is in we hear the door shut and then Candice walks in front of the camera crew and begins to lead the camera crew through the boiler room. She is sniffling but then begins to speak as she continues to walk in front of the camera crew.
Candice LeRae I..... I just don't understand. Why..... why must everything bad always happen to the nicest people? Why am I cursed to wear this god forsaken face guard and be..... be hideous to the public! They don't deserve that at all. They come to see us look our best and give everything we have to give in that ring and I can't..... I can't give these people what they want anymore. I just don't understand.
LeRae stops in her tracks and she at the back of the boiler room. There are two pallets on the wall and Candice grabs one of them and pulls it out the way revealing an opening. She gets onto her knees and then crawls into the opening. LeRae looks up at the camera crew and motions again for them to follow. Once the camera crew in now in the little opening that LeRae crawled through she grabs the pallet and then pulls it back making the screen go black from how dark it is in her little area she has made. She tells the camera crew to hold on then we hear the flick of a lighter and light gets restored once Candice lights a candle. She sets the candle on a box then grabs a torn blanket and wraps it around herself before looking back into the camera.
Candice LeRae I come here to think.... It's a place where I can clear my mind and not worry about being made fun of for wearing this guard, but you know this is driving me crazy. I can't stay here isolated from the rest of the world but I have no choice. The world does not want me just like Cody Rhodes did not want me. I thought I had a chance but i'm just too ugly. Brie left and I thought I could swoop in but you know I guess I was in a rude awakening. A rude awakening was not all I was in for last week on Breakdown though..... I got my face kicked in again by someone who I thought I could respect..... Someone who I looked up too when my climb to XWL started. You know I was watching week in and week out when Layla was breaking all those records like first diva Hell in a Cell and I always wanted the opportunity to face her because I thought I had a fair chance.... I thought she was not a psychopath just looking to kill me but I was wrong. Layla took the first chance she could to kick my face in when I was readjusting my mask and you know what...... I was seeing stars. I was knocked out and for the second time in two weeks my nose cracked again making me get yet another alignment. She took every opportunity she could get with me and it worked...... Not tonight. Tonight she is not going to be so lucky. Last Breakdown she started a war.... Tonight I am going to finish it. Layla, I hope your listening because you caused this. You brought me to this point and tonight in that squared circle you're going to feel the pain that I feel. I am going to put you through hell tonight and when that final bell rings..... You're going to be the one whose lights.......go.......out.
Candice blows out the candle making the screen go dark again. We hear LeRae laughing before the camera fades to a commercial break.

We return from commercial break to see Josh Matthews standing in front of a monitor with the Breakdown logo on it. He is standing by until being told through his ear piece he is on. He raises to mic up from his side to his lips and begins to speak.
Josh Matthews Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to XWL Breakdown. Last Sunday night at Dead Mans Hand we saw many and I mean many great matches and moments. Moments like Madison Eagles cashing in on the retaining Divas champion Paige to become the new XWL Divas Champion. Other moments like the Intercontinental Champion being crowned in one outstanding match between Sheamus and Mr. Kennedy where we saw the Celtic Warrior take not only the victory but also the Intercontinental title. The World Hea......
Josh Matthews is cut off by the number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship in Johnny Gargano as well as Ted DiBiase. The two men walk beside Matthews and now Gargano is standing to the right of Josh Matthews while DiBiase is on his left. Johnny grabs the mic and begins to speak.
Johnny Gargano Joshy boy! Come on! Don't tell me you where about to skip the biggest Dead Mans Hand moment and go straight to the main event?! Josh, I don't mean any disrespect but come on you need to stop talking about the broads and pasty superstars and keep the focus on the two men that stand before you right now and since you so rudely did not immediately introduce us let me go right ahead. The Cats Pajamas.... aka.... The Bees Knees.... aka..... The man too cool for school.... aka.... Johnny Wrestling!.... aka the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship, that's right! Yours truly Johnny Gargano. Oh and one more aka which is the voice of the man to your left, not only is he a third generation star, not only is he one of the most talked about superstars today, not only is he Stephanie McMahon's number one bullying target, but most importantly out of all those he is my newest friend which makes us the baddest men going today! So with that said Josh, I have a question for you. How could you not mention the formation of Johnny Gargano and Ted DiBiase as the number one shocker from Dead Mans Hand?
Gargano moves the mic from in front of his face and mimics Josh Matthews job by holding the microphone in front of him waiting for his response. Josh is confused but speaks after looking at DiBiase who is smirking.
Josh Matthews My apologies guys it's just I get paid to talk about wha.....
Gargano moves the microphone away from Josh Matthews and brings it back to his lips as he cuts Matthews off yet again.
Johnny Gargano To talk about what that bully Stephanie wants you to talk about right? It's a shame Ted. It truly is a shame. Some women just can't get the picture that you don't want them. Stephanie just wont give up hope of you gracing her with your voice. You know what? Take this back Josh.
Johnny Gargano slams the microphone into the chest of Josh Matthews. Josh grips the microphone as Gargano continues to speak.
Johnny Gargano It's not my job to hold a damn microphone. My job is though to perform in that ring and that's what I do each and every time I step in between those ropes. No one in this company can touch me.... except for one.
Josh Matthews Who is that one man?
Johnny Gargano The man to your left. A former World Heavyweight Champion in Ted DiBiase.
Josh Matthews So if you don't mind me asking, what brought you two together?
Johnny Gargano Like I said, we get paid to step in between those ropes and wrestle. No where in my contract or Ted's say anything about having to speak so whenever I came to the XWL and witnessed first hand what type of verbal abuse that man was taking I could not stand for it. These people turned him silent and it just eats at Stephanie that she can't change his ways but you know what that's fine with me because I am giving her what she wants. I am giving her Teds voice back but just in a different style. The style of yours truly.
Josh Matthews turns to DiBiase and begins to speak to him. He stares at Josh, his mouth shut tightly, and his eyes looking away from Josh, at his "voice" Johnny Gargano.
Josh Matthews Ted, how do you feel about this?
With the microphone in his face, Ted's mouth stays shut, as if he had nothing to say. Josh stands there, trying to get Ted to say something for himself, anything...but Ted just shakes his head, curling his lip under and motioning to Josh to look for that answer with his eyes from the man to his right.
With Ted having nothing to say about how he feels, Gargano grabs Ted Josh Matthew's arm and pulls the microphone back over to him. Johnny snatches the mic out of his hands and begins to speak now with a angered tone in his voice.
Johnny Gargano How dare you! You know Josh you are just like everyone in the audience. You are nothing more nothing less than a leach trying to suck everything Ted has out of him. That man has put everything he had into this company yet the fans, you, and Stephanie McMahon still want more.... Pathetic, it really is. I really feel the urge of putting you through that monitor right there but I can control myself so you know what its your lucky day because its time for us to go. Come on Ted.
Johnny slams the microphone down to the ground as DiBiase is the first to leave, walking past Josh Matthews off camera. The new number one contender to The Intercontinental Championship shakes his head at Josh before heading off in the direction that Ted went in. Josh looks confused at what just occurred, unsure of what to make of it, or why Ted needed a voice in the form of a person, as opposed to the one he already had. He's left to wonder where this new partnership might be heading as the camera fades out to a commercial for XWL's next big event, Supremacy.

After a crazy night of action on XWL Breakdown. The Lights in the arena kick off and a song is heard that is unlike any before.
The crowd is confused and as the song picks up its none other than "The Lone Wolf" Davey Richards. Standing at the top of the stage smiling and looking at all the fans. Rumors had been swirling that Richards would be making his way to XWL, and as we can see those rumors have come to fruition. Davey Smirks as he makes his way to the ring. He jumps over the top rope and lets out the trademark howl. Some of the crowd howls with him. He asks for a mic.

So This is XWL? This is what i have had people on twitter and all sorts of social media trying to get me to check out? All i i have heard for months is "O Davey you would tear down the house with guys such as Cesaro and Ted Dibiase jr!" along with "Davey man you gotta get over to XWL to have instant classics with guys like Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Sami Callihan, Kevin Steen and even Eric Young!" OK Maybe not Eric Young. But you get the point? XWL has been on my radar for quite sometime. and now the night after Dead mans hand. The Cards have fallen into place. I am here. for one thing and one thing alone. Competition. It is that simple really. I have wrestled all over the world for thousands of people to a couple of rednecks in Georgia during my debut. Ive done it all. However, as i kept racking up the wins and titles i found myself just never being satisfied. always wanting more. Which lead me to XWL. The top guys wrestle here. The Top guys are beloved here. and Davey Richards is a top guy who will be here for a long time.
The crowd is almost split down the middle as he is beloved by some and unknown to others. He smiles at some friends who have made the way for his debut and then starts to speak again.

Switching gears real quick. I realize that Rome was not built in a day as well as to be a champion you have to put in the work and not only for you people but for all the guys in the back. I'm here for titles. I'm here for respect. I'm here for Greatness.I know that i will have to pour blood sweat and tears in this for any of that to become attainable and that's exactly what i plan to do. Starting tonight. Daniels, Your a hell of a competitor and i respect what you can do in this ring but tonight is my time to show that I'm for real and ready to show everyone what Davey Richards can do. Be on notice everyone holding gold in this company. There is about to be a Wolf in the Throne Room.
Davey Richards does the Signature number one taunt he is famous for and lets out one more Howl to the Arena before he hands the mic back to the announcer and goes back to the back to prepare for Daniels.

Really enjoyed that promo, shows a lot of potential for future promos and it's great to see someone use descriptions well because I personally think they add a lot to a promo. If I had to suggest one thing is maybe you could have used some commentary at the start and the end to add that extra something but all in all good stuff man.
Also just for future reference, Davey's a former Intercontinental Champion, won that back in 2012. Aside from that and a few feuds he's not really done much so don't feel like you have to harp much on his previous runs here just because he has had some.

Krzy that was my single favorite promo in the history of me being in the XWL, dat format, dat Borash and West making Shelley being dropped into what could be the best duo in the history of duos, really looking forward to more West/Borash if that's what the future holds. Don't get me wrong, I loved your Shelley and SDR, and as sad that I am that I will no longer see Shelley, but something about this promo makes me really really interested as to what you are going to be doing with West/Red , like the drop was the refresh time to kick fucking ass button idk
