I will as long as you don't go throwing her into any mirrors <3

To be fair a return promo of AJ skipping on a bed of glass and saying nothing but giving the camera that deranged look before laughing would've been awesome.

Just wanna say I enjoyed that Rey promo, actually nice to have a Rey that'll be promo active from here on so great job there, including an apparent feud with Sheamus, even better look forward to some future co-promos there.

The Eric Young thing was great too, a lot of effort put in that and I'm glad to see so many promos so early in the card, hopefully this continues throughout the week.

Appreciate the feedback man. Sheamus and Rey will be an active feud, you can count on that.

But seriously tho, that Bella Twins promo. Brilliant stuff.

Breakdown returns to the face of a grinning Paul Heyman, which out a sea of boos from the crowd. The camera pans out to show Goldberg standing next to him as well as Matt Striker.

{{Matt Striker}}
I'm standing backstage with Paul Heyman and his new client, Goldberg. Paul, want to tell us a little about why you chose Goldberg, or he chose you?

{{Paul Heyman}}
Ladies and gentlemen, Matt, what you see standing before me is the epitome of controlled power. This man knows the sweet taste of victory more than anyone else in this company, he thrives off of it, lives for it… Former WCW Champion, former WWE Champion, and soon he will be able to add XWL to the list of companies that he’s dominated… Last night The Ryback might as well have shot his career in the foot by refusing to become a Heyman Guy willingly. Now it will be Goldberg, not The Ryback who will rise to the top, now it will be Goldberg who takes down opponent after opponent, proving that size does matter. It’s no secret that Goldberg, much like Brock Lesnar, could thrive in this industry on his own. But with my help, there will be no one, and nothing that can stand in either of my two client’s way. You see Don West thought that he had me beat. First he and Sangriento defeated Brock Lesnar and myself at November to Remember. He thought that it meant that Sangreinto was better than Brock Lesnar, but he was a fool for thinking so. Don West pinned me. Brock Lesnar wasn’t pinned. Simple as that. West obviously wasn’t smart enough to put two and two together. He thought that Sangriento would be able to defeat Brock Lesnar again at X-Treme X-Mas.. Well, he was wrong. And now Sangriento has a broken arm to prove it! Just like Corey Graves! It seems like the West Side Army curse lives on! While being a Heyman Guy still brings you fame, glory, but most of all success. You see when The Ryback took Curtis Axel out it didn’t give West the advantage, it simply opened up a spot in my army, a spot that was filled by Goldberg, and tonight, Don West will see exactly what Goldberg is capable of when he defeats The Ryback. Goldberg made the right decision, joining forces with Brock Lesnar and myself. He made the decision that The Ryback couldn’t. And now he will thrive while The Ryback falls. Isn’t that right Goldberg?

The camera pans over to Goldberg, who smiles a bit as the mic slowly slides over in front of him.

[Goldberg]
That's right Paul. I'm not an insecure, stupid child like Ryback. I've been in this business for several years, destroying names that most of the roster looks up to. My entire career, I've been set on staying to myself, not being in any form of stable, but I am not doing that in XWL. No, I'm not. I'm teaming up with what is honestly, the second version of me.

{{Matt Striker}}
What exactly do you mean, Goldberg?

[Goldberg]
I mean that Brock Lesnar, is the reincarnation of what I once was and still am. How can you not see that? People always want to compare me to this little thorn by the name of Ryback, but me and Lesnar are far more alike than him. Look at us! Two football players coming into the world of wrestling, being dominant in everything we've done. How can you not respect us? And together? Are you freakin' kidding me man? No one on the roster can hold hold a candle to my achievements more or less Brock's. Together, we are the ultimate power trip.

{{Matt Striker}}
Er, alright. Well, do you have any thoughts about your match later on tonight against The Ryback?

[Goldberg]
Yeah, actually, I do. Ryback, you pissed off the wrong man when you pissed off Paul Heyman. This man built a wrestling company from the ground up, built several careers from scratch, and you chose to ignore his gratitude in his business offer? You, are, stupid! Honestly, I don't know what Paul sees in you. He's a smart man, but adding you to his stable is not smart to me. But that doesn't matter to me. The only thing that matters to me tonight, is kicking your ass.

Striker looks like he is about to respond to Goldberg but thinks better of it, instead turning to Heyman.

{{Matt Striker}}
Many people question your loyalty to your clients. First with what happened with Curtis Axel and then last night. The way that you just watched as your client got.. well… words can’t even describe the sight.. all those elbows.. all that blood.. and you just watched..

{{Paul Heyman}}
Matt. Who won the match last night?

{{Matt Striker}}
Well. Brock Lesnar.

{{Paul Heyman}}
Who’s arm is broken right now?

{{Matt Striker}}
Sangriento’s.

{{Paul Heyman}}
Who’s resting at home? And who has a match against Alberto Del Rio, the man known for his arm submission maneuvers?

{{Matt Striker}}
.. I guess you’re right.

{{Paul Heyman}}
Of course I’m right. Brock Lesnar is a fighter!! A FIGHTER!!

Striker takes a step back as Heyman begins to shout, clearly sick of having to explain himself over and over again.

{{Paul Heyman}}
Brock Lesnar is a FORMER UFC CHAMPION!!! Former World Heavyweight UFC Champion. Brock Lesnar has fought the most dangerous men on this planet and he’s won. Do you really think that what Sangriento did last night actually phased the Man Beast known as Brock Lesnar? It might have looked like it hurt, but Brock not only delivers pain like a champion, but he can take it too. Before the match he told me not to throw the towel in no matter what. No matter how bruised he looked, no matter how battered he got, he said no matter what happens, do not throw in that towel, because Brock Lesnar is a fighter, Brock Lesnar is an ass kicker, and Brock Lesnar proved it by breaking Sangriento’s arm and winning that match. You can call me what you want, so can Don West, but the fact of the matter is my client is a winner, and his is a loser. Just like how tonight Goldberg will be a winner, and The Ryback will be a loser. That’s what I bring to the table Matt. I won’t give my clients cookies and flowers and tell them that everything is going to be okay, a cheerleader can do that. My goal is to give my clients the best opportunities available to them and make sure that they can cash in on those opportunities no matter what it takes. I create winners. Last night Brock Lesnar proved that. Simple as that.

{{Matt Striker}}
Fair enough. So now that Brock Lesnar has proved himself over Sangriento what is next for your client?

{{Paul Heyman}}
Brock Lesnar may have broke Sangriento’s arm. He might have defeated him last night. But that wasn’t enough. None of it is enough. Until we can see the pain, until we can see the disappointment on the face of Sangriento, it will not be enough. A man behind a mask can’t be hurt, but a man who’s true identity is out to the world, that’s what makes one’s ego vulnerable. We hurt Sangriento physically last night. So what’s next? Hurting him emotionally. Taking that mask off for the world to see. That’s what’s next for Brock Lesnar.

{{Matt Striker}}
And how do you plan on doing that?

{{Paul Heyman}}
Oh Matt. I have my ways. You know that.. Brock Lesnar will prove himself over Sangriento just like Goldberg will against The Ryback tonight.

{{Matt Striker}}
The stipulations of tonight’s match is that no West Side Army member or Heyman Guy is allowed to get involved, including you and Don West. Are you going to uphold your end of the bargain?

{{Paul Heyman}}
Of course I will. If I don’t then The Ryback will automatically win the match and you know that I wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize a win for my client.

{{Matt Striker}}
So then how are you so sure that Goldberg will win tonight?

{{Paul Heyman}}
Because one, Goldberg is the better wrestler, and two, Goldberg is my client. And I always have an ace up my sleeve!

Striker thinks that over for a second before turning to Goldberg.

{{Matt Striker}}
Goldberg. What do you think of Paul Heyman’s treatment of Brock Lesnar last week? Do you agree with Paul? Or do you agree with Don West and the rest of the XWL Universe in thinking that he doesn’t care about his client’s well beings?

[Goldberg]
Are you serious Matt? You think Don West has half of the knowledge about wrestling that Paul does? Do any of the people in the stands have any idea what it is like to be the best damn manager on the planet? No! They don't! Want to know who does? Paul Heyman. I believe Paul knows what he is doing. Lesnar can handle himself just like I can. Paul here is the idea guy while we are the kick ass guys. That's how this works. As Paul said, look at that little punk named Sangriento! His arm is snapped in half! Paul has this under control, and I trust in him ten fold.

{{Matt Striker}}
Well what are your thoughts on the whole, "ace up the sleeve" comment?

[Goldberg]
It's simple. Look at me! I'm the best thing in the deck that is XWL, so I am obviously the ace. Stop reading so far into stuff Striker. People who ask a lot of questions, usually end up getting hurt. Am I right, Paul?

Goldberg cracks his knuckles and looks to Paul for approval.

{{Paul Heyman}}
You sure are Goldberg… So Matt. Any more questions?

{{Matt Striker}}
Well.. Err.. Uh. No. I’m good.

{{Paul Heyman}}
Good. Now if you’ll excuse us we have a match to get ready for.

And with that Heyman and Goldberg walk off as we go to a commercial break.

The camera’s whisk away backstage to see a cameraman walking down a hallway until he arrives at a door with a sign that has “West Side Army” written on it. He pushes open the door and we see the five members of West’s stable, including West, gathered in the locker room. West is kneeling down in front of Sangriento whose right arm is still heavily taped after his grueling match against Lesnar.

Don West
Are you sure about your arm, buddy? I can get them to put a rain check on the match, you know, to give Del Rio an extra week or two so he can prepare for the beating of a lifetime. And that way….

Ryback
What do you think you’re doing? This is a private meeting.

Ryback has spotted the cameraman and begins forcing him out of the room.

Don West
Wait… let him stay.

Ryback
Are you sure?

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 Westbrown1_zps37bef2eb

Don West
Yes, I want my message to be broadcast to the whole world; I want them all to hear what I have to say. I want them all to hear me say that last night was not a loss for me or for Sangriento or for The West Side Army, it was a loss for Heyman and his lackeys. Heyman showed he had no heart, no soul, no conscience as he watched his client Brock Lesnar get pummeled in the ring with nowhere to go and no way to escape. The whispers have already started up and someone actually have the gall to walk up to me on the street and say, “Don, how could you just admit that Sangriento isn’t good enough to beat Brock Lesnar?” I looked that fool in the eye and I said, “As far as who the better man is, that match didn’t prove a damn thing.” There came a point in that match where I realized that Heyman had so much pride and had such a ginormous ego that he wouldn’t throw that godforsaken towel in the ring even if Lesnar died in there! So I made the smart move, I made it so that Sangriento could live to fight another day and you better believe me when I say that he’s already rearing to go.

The camera zooms in on Sangriento who nods while rubbing the tape coving his shoulder.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 Westbrown15_zpsb2b1278b

Don West
But in some kind of cruel joke, who is he scheduled to face tonight? None other than the great Alberto Del Rio, a man who uses a submission hold that targets the arm and one has to stop and truly wonder if this company really has it out for us. We would have loved to get our hands on Mr. Del Rio earlier because he was the man who set in motion the demise of Corey Graves and that’s not something that we have just forgotten or will just let slip by. Where was this match when Sangriento was healthy? Where was this match when the anger, the frustration and the emotions of seeing one of his good friends get side-lined was at their peak? XWL may look like it’s trying to do a favor for us, by finally putting a member of this Army against Del Rio, and by finally putting a member of this Army in the main event, but I can see this for what it truly is: a slap in the face.

West’s anger is written all over his face as he pauses for a second to collect his thoughts before continuing.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 Westbrown3_zps4ff97beb

Don West
They want to make their World Champion look like a million bucks, they expect this to be a walk in the park for him, but he’s going to quickly realize that that walk is coming to come with a lot of trips and falls because if Sangriento can go toe to toe with a man like Brock Lesnar and live to tell the tale of how he kicked that beasts ass all around the ring, then there’s no way that a lesser man like Del Rio will give him as much trouble. And at the end of the day, this is just another match for Sangriento, he doesn’t care about the main event, the world title or the man who has brought great shame to the fine country of Mexico. He has a strong case of tunnel vision right now, a case that can’t be cured until he gets what he wants: another shot at Lesnar. Heyman can act like everything that needed to be said was spoken loud at clear with the result of that I quit match, but the fact of the matter is this: he’s still coming after Ryback, which means we still have a bone or two to pick with him.

Ryback chuckles before responding.

Ryback
Don’t worry Don. After tonight we won’t have to worry about Heyman trying to convince me to become his client any longer. When I go out there I’m going to not only prove that I’m better than Goldberg, I’m going to prove that I’m true to the West Side Army. Paul Heyman promised that he would leave me alone if I can defeat Goldberg, and if he tries to go back on that promise than I will personally make him pay for it. Last night Goldberg had Brock Lesnar to get involved and help him get the upper hand, but tonight there will be no surprises, no interference, just me and him in that ring. And I promise you Don, I’ll walk out the winner, I’ll make you proud, and I’ll prove that the West Side Army is better than anything that Paul Heyman can throw at us!

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 Westbrown4_zps8a3d9895

Don West
I couldn’t have said it better myself Ryback. And for a while when you were gone it was just Sangriento and I until I realized that we needed more bodies on the frontline, so I contacted the man you saw scare off Lesnar at Xtreme Xmas. I found Dean Ambrose, and I told him, “Look, you may think you can go it alone, you can carry on thinking that you’ll survive as a lonewolf here, but there was a reason that you put together Men of Honor and there’s a reason you spearheaded The Shield: you see the value in having someone watch your back but those factions crumbled right before you very eyes and you couldn’t do anything to stop it.” I said, “But what if, Dean, what if you can try it all again, but without the pressure of having to be the leader of having to keep any egos in check. I may be known for being able to sell ice to an eskimo, but what if I told you that I was willing to pay the price to get you to enlist in this Army?” You only need to think back to the pay per view to see what his response was.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 Westbrown10_zps946a66c7

Don West
Some are questioning why I would take a such a big risk on someone who can’t trust anyone but himself. Some are wondering why would I put the future of The West Side Army in the hands of someone who could stain his hands with my blood at any moment. It’s not rocket science people: Dean Ambrose is a dangerous man, and we needed someone like him. Sangriento may be fast, Ryback may be strong and Sara Del Rey may be lethal, but none of them are as battle-tested as Ambrose is. None of them has seen what he’s seen and none of them has done what he’s done to survive this long and for this Army to survive having someone willing to sacrifice everything is as useful an asset as a group can have. What did Ambrose, have to lose, huh? This is the question I always ask and they never have an answer. He was just floating around, jumping from victim to victim out of habit, until I took him aside, looked him in the eyes and “You can spill all the blood you want, you can break all the bones you want, you can leave all the scars you want and you can end all the careers you want… but if you want to even sniff a championship you’re going to have to do a hell of a lot better than that.”

Almost as if right on cue, the camera shifts towards the far end of the room, where one of the newest additions to The West Side Army in Dean Ambrose sits with his arms crossed over his chest and his head leaning on the wall behind him with his eyes closed. He leans forward and opens his eyes, looking right into the camera with his usual gaze and a stoic expression etched on his face.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 8fsMX

Ambrose leans forward and shifts his eyes over to his new found alliance in The West Side Army, but more specifically, Don West. A single nod is all Ambrose receives before he shifts his focus back towards the camera and begins to speak for the first time since becoming a member of Don West's Army.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 UxJyi

{Dean Ambrose}
Many people believe that I have sold my soul to the devil when I aligned myself with Don West and his army, but what you people fail to realize is that Dean Ambrose is that devil. I could have spent the remainder of my life fighting alone, and I have for the majority of it, but it would only have been a matter of time before someone would have caught me off guard and potentially finished what others failed to do. People will do what ever it takes to make a name for themselves, even if it meant paying the ultimate price. I was one of those people.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 J7ZSN

{Dean Ambrose}
But there comes a time when it just isn't enough to hurt people, when it isn't enough to drive a lead pipe into their skull, when it isn't enough to push yourself towards the brink of insanity to survive for another day. All it takes is one mistake and you're done, it's that easy to become a victim and I'm someone who rarely makes mistakes. Sometimes you need someone watching your back, sometimes it pays off in the long run to have an extra pair of eyes, or in this case, four extra pairs of eyes watching over you. That's where The West Side Army comes in.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 NXYHR

{Dean Ambrose}
You can say that it's a miracle that this Army lasted as long as it has, I call it longevity, something The Shield didn't have, something Men of Honor sure as hell didn't have. Don West is a smart individual, he knows what has to be done to make sure his Army survives another day, sounds familiar, doesn't it? I didn't join this Army for the promises of championship gold, or to have my career taken to the next level, I'm beyond that. I joined simply because The West Side Army has something I seek: Longevity. The gold that will come with time is just an added bonus.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 E2xgD

{Dean Ambrose}
Under the leadership of someone like Don West, I won't have to worry about this Army turning on one another, I won't have to worry about someone stabbing me in the back because I know that it's being handled. And that leaves me to do what I please, whether it be me adding another name to the ever growing list of “superstars” I have taken out, or simply sending a message to the entire locker room so they know not to mess with The West Side Army.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 16gHR

{Dean Ambrose}
With the additions of myself and Sara Del Rey, Don West has managed to do something that I failed at doing twice, and that's create the perfect faction, something that hasn't been done before and sure as hell won't be done again. We each bring something different to the table, Don West with the brains, Sangriento with the speed, Ryback with the power, Del Rey with the lethality, and of course, Dean Ambrose with the unpredictability. As unstoppable as this Army was before, you haven't seen anything yet.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 7V9x0

{Dean Ambrose}
At X-treme X-mas, not only did I send a message to Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, not only did I send a message to Alberto Del Rio, not only did The West Side Army send a message to Paul Heyman and his “guys,” we send a message to anybody and everybody in the locker room. We're not to be messed with because we don't care what we have to do, we don't care who we have to hurt. If you cross us, it'll be a mistake you won't survive long enough to regret.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 Westbrown11_zps70c702ae

Don West
And I hope you recorded this segment folks; I hope you held up your phones and cameras to the television and did whatever you could to preserve this moment in your memory banks because the four of us appearing in the same place at the same time is as rare as a solar eclipse. These four shine as brightly when they’re acting alone as they do when they’re working together as a united force. We don’t need to be attached at the hip to make an impact and we damn sure don’t need to shadow each other to survive…the only thing we need to be is around when one of our own requires a little assistance. Despite everything this company has done to us and despite everything Heyman has pulled: we’re still alive. How much longer do you think you can ignore us?

It’s truly a beautiful day outside in this unknown location. The sun is shining brightly high in the sky while the chirping of birds and sounds of lively chatter from idly strolling pedestrians provide the soundtrack for this wonderful morning. Suddenly the sound of horns honking cuts into the serene feeling like nails on a chalkboard and the cameras turn around to reveal it’s in front of arena here on Phoenix Arizona. The cameras turn around and we see The Ersatz Tag Team Champions, The Motor City Machine Guns: Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley. Sabin chuckles and shakes his head while Shelley yawns loudly.

{Alex Shelley}
Ah man, it's been so long since it was just me and Chris and good ol' Mitch 2, no relation to the original Mitch, of course. I mean Chris has been preparing for the big pancake-a-thon, Mitch 2 has been trying to become a better cameraman but for the life of him can't figure out how to hold the damn thing steady so it doesn't always look like we're in the middle of an earthquake. I told you to cut down on the sugar before hand, but you just had to go and down a full case of mountain dew, didn't you? Worse than all that is you didn't even offer me a can and I was nice enough to let you play against me in XWL 2K14. It may have been a 3 on 1 handicap match, but is winning really that important to you?

{Alex Shelley}
But I digress, tonight isn't about games or pancakes or soda, at least not until after the show, tonight is about bouncing back. I thought I had Shawn Michaels right where I wanted him, but I guess I just wasn't meant to be champion of the Intercontinents.. the curse of Kurt Angle lives on. Of course, I'll give the devil his due, Shawn Michaels may have very well been the better man on that night. I'd like to think that he lost his foot in a hunting accident with Dick Cheney and has been secretly competing with a metallic limb ever since, because one kick shouldn't hurt that much.

{Alex Shelley}
But that's all in the past now, I'm sure Shawn Michaels and I will meet each other in the ring before he gets so old he turns to dust and blows away in the wind. Until then, I'm going to focus on what's important right now, and that's Motor City Machine Guns and my friendship with Sabin. Again, I'm looking out on the landscape of teams and I'm realizing that once again it's just Motor City Machine Guns and the rest. DX may have had their fun holding two championships at the same time, but we knew another team to managed the same feat and surprisingly enough they're nowhere to be seen. I guess those old geysers just wanted to feel special one last time and pretend to be friends a little longer before they implode just like they always do and before you know it they'll be beating the crap out of each other at Final Stand.

Shelley looks over at Sabin who's feasting on a pancake flavored candy bar, knocks it out of his hand and ducks a punch before running off screen leaving Sabin alone in front of the camera.

{Chris Sabin}
Not again.

Sabin looks down at the candy bar that's now littered with dirt and grass laying at his feet. Sadness over takes him as it would appear that it was his last one. He almost sheds a tear but is able to stop himself and looks up towards the camera before speaking.

{Chris Sabin}
You know, there's a rumor going around that Mitch and I didn't make up before we started recording, and it's that Shawn Michaels is part robot. The story goes something along the lines of Shawn Michaels going out on the town one night and he gets so drunk that he gets kicked out of a bar. While he was wondering down street after street, he suddenly stops and looks at a brick wall. Now judging from what I was told he said, he didn't take to kindly to that wall just sitting there and minding its own business. Then at the drop of a hat, he hit Sweet Chin Music on it, or in this case “Sweet Brick Music.” Like that? Came up with it myself.

{Chris Sabin}
Anyways, blinked and you would have missed it. Apparently he kicked that wall so hard that he ended up breaking his foot. That would have ended anybody's career, but not the “Show Stopper.” The only way he could have saved his career was to replace his foot with a mechanical equivalent. I mean, how else would he have been able to break Ryback's jaw? You're lucky that you didn't suffer the same fate he did, Alex, or maybe he did break your jaw and you just don't know it yet.

{Chris Sabin}
But you are right about one thing, it has always been Motor City Machine Guns, then everybody else. It's always been us against the world, not only in this past year that we've been a team, but for the entirety of our careers, and we're still standing. You may have failed to become the Intercontinental Champion last night but we don't need that to prove that we're the best because we have these.

Sabin raises his half of the Ersatz Tag Team Championships up for the camera to get a good look at before lowering it back down to his side and continuing to speak.

{Chris Sabin}
For over a year, not only have we risen above the critics saying we wouldn't survive in this environment, not only have we fought off team after team to hold on to these championships, not only have these championships been defended around the world, we prove night in and night out why we're the best tag team in not only this company but this entire world. We have held these championships for a year now, teams have come and gone, but the Motor City Machine Guns are the constant. When times get tough, we don't run like every other team has before us, we stand our ground and weather the storm.

Shelley suddenly appears on the screen, giving his tag partner an amused glance.

{Alex Shelley}
Weather the storm? Do you not the see the sky? It’s as blue as that chick’s eyes who you couldn’t get back to the hotel room last night. Check out how brightly the sun is shining, loom at it Chris… Chris, look at the sun… fine be like that. Just listen to the birds chirping, pal, if you listen closely enough that’s the sound of them serenading you to make you feel special and to make you feel just a little better about going without a match once again. I know you were itching to go and get back into the ring, but I think it’s for the best that you stay as far away from the squared circle for as long as possible. Not only did you lose two straight matches, but they were against that masked guy and that old guy. I mean after Triple H beat me I gave you the notes with extensive details on his weak points, his mannerisms and thinning mane of hair but I bet you didn’t even bother to glance at them.

{Alex Shelley}
Not only that, but you’ve gotten a little too comfortable using the RKO lately, and I don’t know about you but I’d rather Randy Orton not catch wind of that and come after us. The last thing I want is for any of my family members to get punted in the skull just because of something that you did… then again… you are like a brother for me, so if you’re willing to take one for the team then I’m all for it. I can see it in your eyes, you look a little battle-tested, and hey there is a silver lining in all of this… and least it wouldn’t be The Miz taking you out this time around. I mean it was quite the little rivalry you two had going on… sure, I’d like to think it wasn’t on the level of entertainingness, intenseness and awesomeness that my little spat with good ol’ Kurt Angle was, but you did make the most of what you had, and at the end of the day no one can say that you didn’t try your damn-dest to make a man out of the Miz-ster.

{Alex Shelley}
Though you did have a point there: when times get rough Detroit’s Finest: The Motor City Machine Guns don’t run because we’re already so far ahead of the pack that if we picked up the pace they’d never catch up. Tag teams all over the world are sitting on their couches, stools, milk crates and futons saying to each other, “Damn, if one of us had hair half as nice as Alex Shelley’s maybe we’d be where he and his best friend are.” But alas, everyone wishes they could be us, but everyone always falls a little short. Who knows, maybe one day a team will come along that can make us sweat, make us think out top spot is actually in danger of being taken away from us, but considering that we’ve already got a one-year head-start I just can’t see that happening. So until then, I guess it’ll be just like the old times with me and Chris and Mitch 2 just hanging around, drinking beer and wondering whatever happened to that poor sap Stone Cold E.T.

{Chris Sabin}
First thing's first, it was three straight losses, get your facts straight. Come to think of it, I don't blame you for not remembering my loss to Christian, his fall from grace hasn't exactly been easy on him. Secondly, you know damn well I can't understand your handwriting. If you had typed them out like I told you to, things would have gone differently than they did. Then again, your battle with technology hasn't been a pretty fight. Speaking of which, did you ever figure out how to use that computer a few weeks back?

{Alex Shelley}
I managed to get the video of you fighting Cardboard Chris online just fine, didn’t I? Sure it wasn’t in crystal clear HD quality like I had hoped, but it was better off without for your sake, because did we really need pictures of your face soaked with tears after you lost the fight floating around the internet? I knew Double-C was a tough cookie, after all, thanks to his efforts we can still call these Ersatz Tag Championships our own. But still, the way you flew across the room was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. We still owe that hotel for the chair that broke.

{Chris Sabin}
I'll give him credit where it's due, I didn't expect Cardboard Chris to put up quite a fight, nor did I expect someone to record that, but that's just the crazy world we live in. And we owe that hotel nothing, if you have easily breakable chairs in your rooms, you should not be called a hotel. It could have been much worst though, like that time we went to Mexico to defend these prestigious championships. They made us sleep on the cold, hard ground, who would treat champions of our caliber that way? But at least I didn't superkick the FedEx guy because I may or may not have ordered dozens of Cardboard Alex's. You didn't have to burn them, we could have made a killing with with the money we could have gotten by selling them with the cardboard Ersatz Tag Team Championships I made.

{Alex Shelley}
You know what I just realized… you have had a lot of free time on your hands lately and I can’t say that I’ve liked how you’ve spent it. I think we should stop being so cool about you left off the card tonight, we should be outraged, we should be protesting and calling up our representatives to do something about this. You’ve heard of Stone Cold Steve Austin, right? Bald guy, two knee braces, drinks a lot? Yeah, him. Well back in his heyday he had a saying and it went: Arrive. Raise hell. Leave. And I think it’s time we put that to the test. Granted, we’d be leaving before you got the chance to wrestle in the match we raised hell for in the first place, but they’d get the message, and believe you-me, that would be the last time they let you have to week off to play with cardboard. Do you know how many brave men and women are hospitalized every year with severe paper cuts? Don’t be another statistic, Chris

{Chris Sabin}
You're right, we should be outraged, we should storm into the arena, make a beeline towards the office of Stephanie McMahon and demand that we get answers for not only the questions we have, but also the questions that plague the minds of our fans. We have fought far too hard and for far too long to be denied anymore. And one of those questions will be, “Just what the hell happened to Stone Cold ET?”

{Alex Shelley}
Now just hang on there for a second… make a beeline for Stephanie McMahon’s office? Are you serious? And just what do we do if Triple H is in there with her, huh? Did you ever stop and think about that? About them taking a 15 minute “lunch break” in the middle of the show? Sure maybe thoughts about Stephanie that could get us fired have crossed our point at some point… but Triple H… I don’t think so, buddy. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course. We all have our preferences, and what I prefer is to not see those two in any compromising positions.

{Chris Sabin}
But how else will you get your rematch at the Intercontinental Championship against Shawn Michaels and his robotic foot? Back to the drawing board, I guess.

{Alex Shelley}
Now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure competing with a robotic limb isn’t legal. Do you still have that book of wrestling rules we “borrowed” from the library? It could really come in handy right about now.

{Chris Sabin}
I gave it to you for safe keeping after you escaped the clutches of that evil librarian.

{Alex Shelley}
Well whattaya know, I must have gone and left the book in my other pair of pants. Don’t you hate when that happens? Tell you what, after we finish filming this, I’ll take you the nearest library here and you can check out as many books as your heart desires. My treat.

{Chris Sabin}
Why do I have a feeling that I'm going to end up paying for that later?

{Alex Shelley}
Speaking of you paying for things, I’m feeling kind of hungry after you didn’t share that candy bar you didn’t share with me. I think it’s time to grab a bite to eat so that we’re not raising hell and barging into offices on an empty stomach.

With that said, both men walk out of view of the camera from opposite sides, leaving the camera to pan around the nearby buildings before beginning to fade to black. A few seconds later, a shot that reads, “30 Minutes Later” comes across the screen and disappears as The Guns are shown having a conversation among themselves before the camera zooms out, revealing a sudden change in location: An nearly deserted airfield where a lone plane sits on the runway. The camera begins to focus on The Guns, who are seemingly coming to the end of their conversation.

{Chris Sabin}
Best of luck in Japan, Alex.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 Hg70L1A

Sabin extends his arm towards his tag team partner and best friend almost hesitantly. Shelley lifts his arm up towards him before lunging forward and embracing Sabin in a hug. Sabin quickly returns the gesture and after what must feel like an eternity for both men, they break away. Shelley nods his head before turning around and begins to scale the stairs to make it up into the plane. When he makes it to the top, he turns back around towards Sabin.

{Alex Shelley}
This isn't a goodbye, it's a see you later.

Those are the final words he says before he disappears into the plane and the door is closed. The planes engine starts up and after a few moments, it begins to take off on the runway, slowly disappearing into the distance. The last image shown is the silhouette of Chris Sabin tightly gripping his half of the Ersatz Tag Team Championships as the sun slowly begins to fall over the horizon.

*The sounds of silence fill the hallowed corridors of the backstage area of the arena, at the faint sounds of the idle chatter of superstars and divas are heard off in the distance. The camera pans around a deserted room, with the only eye catching feature is a dark staircase in the center of it, and on said staircase is the self-proclaimed Anti-Diva, Paige. The camera zooms in on Paige as she stares off into the distance, breaking the silence as she begins to speak.*

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 QQtg5

{Paige}
And just like that, the year has come and gone. It feels just like yesterday that I was sitting here, saying that I would walk out of Final Stand as the Divas Champion. Instead of doing that, I spent a majority of the year fighting wars that were beneath me, nothing more than distractions, nothing more than a waste of time. That all changes tonight, on the final show before the new year.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 P6Rfj

{Paige}
For a good portion of the year, I lowered myself to prove that I am indeed superior to Alicia Fox, and did a great job, might I add. All the time I spent putting you in your place could have been used towards my goal of becoming Divas Champion, but you just didn't know when to quit, did you? You didn't know that you were in way over your head, Fox. Your constant ambushes won't save you in the end because the second you make your pathetic return, I'll be there, ready to finish what you started.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 XWHUd

{Paige}
Then came the Bella Twins, nothing more than a waste of space in not only this division, but this entire company. Myself and Layla proved that we were better than you on multiple occasions, you couldn't hold a candle to Layla's wrestling ability, let alone mine. Everything you could do, we did better. You had to resort to taking me out in a Steel Cage match to give yourselves the upper hand in our war, but even then, you still couldn't get even win a match when the odds were stacked in your favor. We easily bested you in the Last Woman Standing match at Digital Decision, and we would have done the same thing at Supremacy if it wouldn't have been for a certain “Foxy” diva costing us the match.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 TvDff

{Paige}
Next was AJ Lee, a diva that put me on the shelf for a few weeks, but just like The Bellas, failed to get the job done. Then after you broke my arm, you went on to become the Divas Champion. If that's all it takes to get a championship shot around here, then maybe I should look for you backstage and break your arm to get my shot. You may think that you got rid of me when you broke my arm, but our war is far from over and it's only a matter of time before I decide to get a bit of revenge.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 VME88

{Paige}
That brings me to Aksana, and unlike the three divas before her, at least she had the brains, although she may not show it, to run before she could get involved in a war with me. All those divas had one thing in common, they were nothing more than a distraction from what I desire the most: The Divas Championship.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 VME88

{Paige}
While I was wasting the year away, my former ally became Divas Champion, the same person I defeated in the center of that ring six days before X-treme X-mas. Layla and I have done battle once prior to that, and I'll be the first to admit that she got the best of me in our first encounter, but I proved that I wasn't exactly a pushover. Now you're the champion, congratulations, you now have a bulls eye on your back.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 ZJWbX

{Paige}
The score is at one a piece, and now that you have the Divas Championship in your possession, our tiebreaker might be looming over the horizon. When that moment comes, if it even does so, I will be ready to fulfill what I believe is my destiny and that's to become the Divas Champion.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 YfABL

{Paige}
Two Thousand and fourteen will be the year of the Anti-Diva, and it starts tonight when I face a diva that has yet to pin me in the center of that ring, Kaitlyn. Don't take this personally, Kaitlyn, but you're just another roadblock standing in my way to becoming the Divas Champion. You may have “beaten” me at Final Stand on a technicality, you won't have that same luxury tonight. The rise of The Anti-Diva has begun, and anybody who gets in my way will be nothing more than a stepping stone on my quest to become the Divas Champion.

*She continues to stare off into the distance as the silence that once fell over the empty room has once again returned, signaling that she's done speaking for the moment and begins to seemingly prepare herself mentally to face the challenge ahead in the former Divas Champion, Kaitlyn.*

Breakdown returns from a commercial break and in instant view of the camera stands none other than John Cena which causes some faint cheers to be heard in the background coming from the Phoenix crowd. He is preparing for his match with his opponent, Daniel Bryan, scheduled to take place later in the night as the camera stays on him for a few more seconds before starting to zoom out. As the camera zooms out, it reveals a certain superstar walking past him and that superstar is none other than Chris Sabin!

[John Cena]
Hey, Chris. Just wanted to say sorry abou-

Almost suddenly, Sabin hops backwards, raising his hands into the air in the shape of fists. The expression on his face says it all, almost as if he's seen a ghost, or in this case, heard one. He cautiously looks around the corridor, scanning it in an attempt to locate where the voice came from. It's apparent that the crowd knows it's John Cena but Sabin doesn't seem to believe so.

[John Cena]
Chris, it's just me-

Again, Sabin takes a step back, but this time, not before wildly kicking at Cena's extended hand, just barely missing it. Sabin lets out a sigh and he places both hands on his head, possibly thinking that it's just his head playing tricks on him and the voices are just his imagination, a potential side affect from adopting the RKO as his finishing maneuver, as Alex Shelley would put it. A few seconds seem to pass by before Sabin has calmed down, leaving a very confused John Cena looking on.

[John Cena]
Everything oka-

But after that question, it's back to square one, as Sabin jumps up, releasing a kick that cuts the air in half. He remains standing in the middle of the hallway, looking up and down the corridor in an attempt to locate the culprit behind the voice.

{Chris Sabin}
Where is that voice coming from!?

The look on Cena’s face shows absolute confusion as he looks around to see if anyone is seeing this. He looks back towards Sabin as his hand mvoes up, waving it infront of his face to see if there is any reaction from him but he doesn’t seem to notice it.

[John Cena]
Chris, it’s John, like…

He turns his back to John at an attempt to look around for where the voice is coming from, despite it being from right in front of him. John is still confused as ever as he walks around so he is facing Chris once again, looking at him to try and get his attention.

[John Cena]
Like John Cena? Remember?

{Chris Sabin}
You think it's real funny, Ghost? Trying to pretend to be John Cena, just because I can't see you doesn't mean you're him.

Sabin unloads a forearm shot but Cena is able to sidestep it, causing Sabin to hit nothing but air. He lowers himself closer to the ground and begins to slowly walk up and down the corridor, almost as if he's hunting his prey.

[John Cena]
What are you doin-

Before Cena could finish, Sabin rolls forward and quickly attempts a spinning back kick, and unlike his previous attempts, this one connects with something, even though it makes Sabin wish he hadn't. He kicks a crate, sending him stumbling backwards as he holds his foot in pain.

{Chris Sabin}
Okay, you win the first round. Time for round two.

Cena can be seen asking himself “Round two?” as he is still confused about the entire situation. He avoids another random kick attempted by Chris, taking a step back as he looks on, placing his hands on his hips as he tries to figure out what to do with him. A random worker catches Cena’s eye as he begins to walk towards them, more specifically towards Chris.

[Worker]
Hey Chris, we need your he-

But the worker is suddenly dropped to the ground as Sabin connects with an Enziguri to the side of his head. Sabin looks to be excited at first as he seems to have kicked what he wanted but his facial expression soon changes as he notices that it was some worker he randomly kicked.

{Chris Sabin}
I’m sorry, I thought you were a ghost.

John couldn’t help but let out a chuckle on the other hand as Sabin makes sure the worker is alright. He may be getting too much enjoyment out of this, at least more then he should.

{Chris Sabin}
Don't laugh, Ghost, we're not done yet.

Sabin hops up to his feet and ends up kicking a door in a fit of rage due to him not being able to locate the “ghost” that's standing just mere feet away in John Cena. The thud from his foot meeting the door echoes down the corridor, and unbeknownst to both men, the sign on the door he just kicked reads “West Side Army.” Sabin stumbles backwards and stops himself from falling over by holding on to the crate he kicked earlier for support. The sound of the doorknob moving catches the attention of both men, still unaware of who the locker room belongs to.

A few moments later, the door swings open as Dean Ambrose walks out from behind it before closing the door behind him. He looks at both men in question, shifting his eyes back and forth between them. The tension in the air is cut when Cena blurts out a question directed at Ambrose.

[John Cena]
Dean, you see me, right?

Ambrose turns to Cena and narrows his eyes, almost unsure if that was a serious question. Without giving an answer, Ambrose shakes his head, mumbling something to himself, before turning around and walking down the corridor, possibly making his way to the ring to take on his former ally in Seth Rollins. Sabin turns to his left and almost as if surprised by his presence, finally notices John Cena standing alongside him.

{Chris Sabin}
Oh hey, John, didn't see you there. If I were you, I'd be careful around these parts, there's this ghost that's pretending to be you.

With that said, Sabin begins walking down the corridor, hanging a left and disappearing from view. Cena remains with a perplexed expression etched on his face, unsure of what just happened.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 Ao1Q1No

[Briley Pierce] Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome back to BreakDown. My name is Briley Pierce and I'm here with some breaking news about our upcoming Pay Per View, according to XWL owner Vince McMahon-

*Suddenly something catches the corner of Briley's eye as he looks towards the stage.*

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 LutrAUa

*Confusion fills the arena as an unknown mascot walks down the ramp high fiving fans and hugging people, Briley looks off camera nervously asking what's going on but no-one knows what's happening. The mascot enthusiastically stands beside him.*

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 78cEmY5

*Briley just shrugs his shoulders and starts to talk to it.*

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 AEkmRqc

[Briley Pierce] Uhm, hello? It's nice of you to show up here but I'm kind of in the middle of something important and we're on a pretty tight schedule, so-

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 1eGejyS

*Suddenly the mascot snatches the microphone out of Briley's hand. It stays silent for a few seconds until he reaches for his mask with one hand to reveal his identity.*

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 IVzFzOEHCuux

*It's Brad Maddox! The fans mainly boo as Maddox takes off the mascot head to reveal himself, he brings the microphone to his mouth with a smirk.*

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 2gf5j8J

[Brad Maddox] I'm baaaaaack! That's right good folk of XWL, this is an example of the extreme lengths I have to go to try get my name out there. For the closing months of 2013 I spent my time trying to get Stephanie McMahon's attention for the one shot I needed at a contract. But she decided to show the whole world how unprofessional she is by casting me aside time and time again no matter how talented I am.. No matter how many fans chant my name week in and week out, she just never listened.. Hell, I did everything to try and get a shot, commentary, interviewing, refereeing, you name it! I'm a true company guy and if Stephanie McMahon was as proud of XWL as she says she is, she'd see that too.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 VdTkYsX

[Brad Maddox] But 2014 is going to be different, it's going to be different by a long shot. 2013 was just the beginning of Brad Maddox so if you thought I was done and Stephanie McMahon had finally gotten rid of me, you're sadly mistaken. For the past few weeks I've tried and tried to get into the arena to get my message across but I had no luck. That's why I had to stoop this low and wear this ridiculous costume to get myself on TV. I've said it time and time again, Stephanie McMahon is a crook who doesn't recognize real talent, it's a sham! But I'm not going to be swept under the rug. Brad Maddox will NOT be silenced. I'm the guy that could make this company millions of dollars but she refuses to listen to me, she won't give me a shot because she's petty. But I know who will..

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 OV2Ad7u

[Brad Maddox] Vince McMahon, you're the kind of guy who knows talent. I know you're sitting backstage in your office looking at your TV screen with dollar signs in your eyes because you just know that Brad Maddox is money. So what I want you to do is come out here and we'll talk like men, all I'm asking for is one opportunity and then I'm out of your hair and if I don't deliver-

*There's a mixed reaction as Stephanie McMahon is shown walking on the stage not looking amused, security guards appear from behind the curtain as she nods her head signalling for them to make their way towards Brad.*

[Brad Maddox] Oh come on! This is ridiculous, I don't want anything to do with you, this is between me and Vince!

*The guards get closer as Brad rolls into the ring, he notices he's surrounded.*

[Brad Maddox] Vince!! Next week! All I'm asking for is five minutes of your time, FIVE MINUTES!

*A security guard slides into the ring as Brad throws the mascot head at him and rolls out of the ring quickly. He leaps over the barricade and runs for his life security rush through the crowd trying to catch him as we fade away to a video package.*

Breakdown returns to the sight of William Regal, who hasn't been seen in XWL for some time.  He appears to be deep in thought, looking off into the distance, before finally opening his mouth to speak.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 UQdYEtm

[William Regal]
I'm in the twilight of my career.  I've seen all that there is to see and I've had a career that many would kill to have had.  I should be proud of what I have managed to achieve.  But recently, I've been pondering about the legacy of William Regal and the one thing I have never accomplished.  I've been thinking constantly about the one accolade that has evaded me for my entire career... the one that I've coveted the most... and that is the World Heavyweight Championship.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 OvoWLVT

[William Regal]
I don't think I'll ever be truly satisfied with my career as a whole, knowing that I have never attained the championship that I have craved ever since I was a young lad fighting on the streets of Blackpool, England trying to make a name for myself.  I've gone through a lot trying to enhance my name and my reputation in order to be perceived as someone worthy of challenging for the prestigious championship but for reasons that elude me I have never had a legitimate opportunity at the biggest honor in this business.  It could be partly my fault... I have a wonderful knack for getting into troublesome situations, but I have always given this industry 100% and more in hope that someday the good would outweigh the bad and that eventually I would get my opportunity at going down history as one of the true great World Champions.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 DqccNVh

[William Regal]
But as of yet, that hasn't happened.  And it eats away at me.  So as of next week, I am returning to XWL.  It won't be like before.  It's going to be different.  I refuse to settle for being a comedian or an entertainer.  I won't allow myself to be treated as cannon-fodder for the apparent "big stars" or to be treated like some kind of a joke!  I will not stand for sporadically making cameo appearances any longer!  I am returning to XWL full-time with a purpose and a goal.  And that is to finally... finally... become the World Heavyweight Champion.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 DPVbsvX

[William Regal]
You'd be forgiven for thinking that this is the insane ramblings of an old, battered veteran, past his prime trying to live on his past glories for one final run to set up a nice retirement for himself.  The former is a pretty accurate description of myself... I am older than many in this business and probably more battered than most... But I assure you, I am more motivated now than I have ever been in my entire career.  The void in my existence will remain until I fulfill my life-long dream and I will not let anyone or anything stand in my way of achieving it.  I'm as vicious and as sadistic of a fighter as I have ever been, and true villains remain villains until the very end.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 NyZojl6

[William Regal]
I've traveled the world over and reveled in people calling me one of the finest technical wrestlers to ever walk this planet and it's time I put that theory to the test.  Starting next week my road to the World Heavyweight Championship begins.  It could be a long, arduous path riddled with obstacles but I will not be fazed.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 6DE8PHI

[William Regal]
I may be past my prime... and now even on my best day I may not be able to match the levels that some of the younger stars compete at.  But trust me when I say this, I will be throwing whatever the bloody hell I can at my opponents whenever I step through those ropes.  This is my last chance to show that I have what it takes to be the best and I will not let this slip through my fingers like I've done countless times in the past.  I might need a miracle to achieve what I'm hoping to achieve but I'll give it the very best shot that I have.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 DiA8lKV

[William Regal]
I'm not scared or worried about my plight.  In fact, I'm relishing the thought of stepping inside the ring once again.  I'm looking forward to breaking limbs, cracking skulls, and punishing my opponents.  I am going to compete with every last drop of violent venom that I've got left!... And if this is the final run of William Regal... then I can't think of a more noble way to say my goodbye to the business that I have dedicated my life to than by going down in a blaze of glory at the highest level against the very best wrestlers in the world today...

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 FvHnXRb

Regal shoots an intense stare in the direction of the camera, his eyes filled with purpose as the screen fades away to the next segment...

Feedback would be appreciated as it's my first Regal promo.

The camera shifts to the backstage area where Triple H is shown approaching his good friend Shawn Michaels close to the catering area.  Shawn stops in his path as his friend approaches.  The Game wears a somber expression on his face as he begins to speak.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 RIoC8Sk

[Triple H]
Look Shawn... I... I don't know what the heck happened last night.  I had Cesaro right where I wanted him but in the blink of an eye I was knocked unconscious on the canvas and no longer United States Champion.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 SsXCW2a

[Triple H]
I feel like I've let you down.  You managed to beat Alex Shelley and keep your Intercontinental title, but I just couldn't get the job done.  I let DX down.  And I let the DX Army down.  Ever since we came back we said we'd be better than ever, but last night, I just wasn't up to scratch.  We had a good thing going on and I had to go and ruin it.  I'm sorry...

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 FSJAl5t

[Shawn Michaels]
Look Hunter, There's nothing to apologize for. It doesn't matter if what's his name is now the United States Champion..You don't need that title. Nobody is let down, nobody cares Hunter. DX is still as strong as ever it ever was. We don't need two championships to prove that, We prove that each and every night. Championship or no Championship, you're still one of the best in this business today.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 OTrS1mv

[Triple H]
You're right... one loss doesn't change that.  You can't win them all. I am still The Game.  I am still the King Of Kings.  Besides, his win was a fluke because I already beat him once.  Everybody knows I'm better than Cesaro... but it's just a little upsetting that he's done a smash and grab with my title and it doesn't look like I'll be getting a rematch anytime soon so... I guess we'll just have to carry on doing what we do best right Shawn?  Making the best of what we're given and having fun with it.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 UZnOTWY

[Shawn Michaels]
That's exactly right, Hunter. It has never mattered to us what other people think or what anybody else does. The most important part of DX was doing what we enjoyed and no matter what we did...we had fun. Now here in XWL has been no different, we've annoyed some people, we've had our doubters but we've still had fun, and it's been one of the most enjoyable times of my career.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 M4mTIhi

[Triple H]
And let's hope that it continues to be as enjoyable as it has.  We're just getting started.  Who cares about one stinking loss?  Just look at the World title picture right now... everyone's passing that title around like a hot potato and losing every other week so why should I let just one loss eat away at me?  DX should be in the main event spots and we'll continue to prove the doubters and naysayers wrong.  You're going to go on to be the greatest Intercontinental Champion in history Shawn, I can feel it.  And not only that, you'll have fun doing it, and I'll be right by your side with you.

[Shawn Michaels]
Exactly, Hunter. This championship is just a bonus, I'm here for DX, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't even be standing here right now. D-Generation X is the only thing that matters.. And if you're not down with that then I have got two words for you....

Before Shawn can finish his sentence he's is taken out from behind with a steel chair, the camera quickly pans out to reveal..Chris Jericho! Hunter is furious and lunges towards Jericho with punches, Jericho covers up before landing a knee the groin! Triple H falls to his knees in pain after the low blow, Jericho then uses the same chair he used on Shawn Michaels and swings it across the head of Triple H! Triple H calls to the floor and appears to be out cold.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 Li6S5

Jericho just stands over The Game, and stares down at him with a cold stare. The camera pans down to show both members of DX laying out cold on the floor as the screen fades to black.

*As the XWL cameras return from a commercial break they focus on XWL superstar JTG getting off of his tour bus heading to the locker room but he is quickly stopped by Josh Matthews*

Josh Matthews: JTG, may I ask you a couple of questions?

JTG: Make it quick ight, I need to go take a shower...

Josh Matthews: So the first question I have for you is where have you been the past 2-3 weeks? The fans and management wanted to know because honestly we thought you disappeared or quit the company.

JTG: What you talkin about? I haven't gon' nowhere, I just decided to take a break for a few so that I could get focused on my personal life. I had to go back to Brooklyn to enroll my daughter into school and I've been busy making a few underground mixtapes. But I'm sure that none of you care cuz you don't know my struggle.

Josh Matthews: The second question I have for you is that your going against Jack Swagger tonight. How do you prepare to win the match and are you concerned about losing tonight?

JTG: Are you saying that I'm going to lose tonight? I don't know what is in your head but I know for a fact that I will beat Jack Swagger tonight and as a matter of fact I'm gon' beat anybody that they hard. Honestly nobody can beat me one on one in that ring. I was the best in New York and I'm gon'  be the best in the USA. You see I am the true american. I came from a lonely ghetto city but I worked hard enough to get myself & my daughter out of that situation and now I am living the "American Dream". That is a TRUE american, not  some phony who thinks just cuz he wears USA clothes and he went to college he thinks he so good. Well the one thing I know fo sho' is that he ain't bout that life.....

Josh Matthews: The last question I have to ask you is do you think that you will get a title shot in the future?

JTG: You damn straight I'm gon' get a title shot soon, I'm the most talented guy in this company and in the entire country. Nobody can touch my status as a performer and they better respect me if they know what's good for em'. I don't care who it is if anyone of you are watching this right now and to all the fans that are watching this, you know for a fact that I am the best wrestler, best technician, best speaker, and the best performer this world has ever witnessed. And I'm gon' prove it tonight!

*JTG then drops the microphone as the XWL cameras switch to the next segment/match*

The camera cuts to backstage, where a member of the camera crew is following Matt Striker around in search of a potential interview. Striker can be heard mumbling to himself as the search continues on and still failing to come across whomever it is he is searching for.

[Striker]: I was told he would be around here somewhere.

Striker's search presses on, every step they take, every corner they turn takes them into a more and more secluded part of the arena. There is no catering carts scattered aimlessly for the masses of staff, the lighting is a lot more dingy, in fact it as though nobody has bothered to venture into this part of the arena all night but Striker is certain that who he is looking for is located somewhere in these parts. Striker can be heard becoming more and more agitated as he wanders further and further into the maze that makes up the backstage area.

[Striker]: Wait a minute... I think I see him.

The camera turns the focus from Striker and peers turn a dim hallway, the picture is blurry but as it comes more and more into focus you can make out a figure standing at the end of the corridor but just as we are about to find out the identity of the person Matt Striker blocks the camera shot as he begins to charge down the hall to finally get his interview. Striker stops, he raises the microphone to his mouth and clears his throat.

[Striker]: Excuse me, Roman Reigns I have some questions that I would like you to answer.

The camera man takes a couple steps to the side to reveal Roman Reigns standing next to Matt Striker, however perhaps not in the way that Matt might have intended as Reigns is facing in the opposite direction, as though he has very little interest in answering questions or Matt Striker himself.

[Striker]: Err... Roman?

Matt Striker taps Reigns on the shoulder, hoping that it will draw his attention but Reigns instead of turning to face Striker, Reigns instead begins to stretch out his arms and his shoulders, perhaps preparing for his match later tonight or that is at least what Striker is hoping the reason is. Matt looks at the camera with a look of confusion, wondering what his next step is, he shrugs to the camera but in an attempt to maintain his professionalism he tries to press on with the interview.

[Striker]: Ok... Roman, could we get your thoughts on what happened at X-Treme X-Mas?

Striker was hoping that a question about Reigns match at the previous PPV would draw him into a conversation with him but it appears Reigns cares not a jot about his match at the PPV because he continues to face the opposite direction from Striker and the camera. Striker is clearly becoming frustrated with the lack of cooperation from Reigns but again he composes himself and tries to continue giving an interview.

[Striker]: How about your thoughts on Dean Ambrose? Seth Rollins?

Mentioning his former stable team mates Matt Striker again hopes to perhaps touch a nerve to finally be able to draw Roman Reigns into any form of conversation but again Reigns has little to no interest in turning round to address Striker or the XWL Universe. Again, Striker becomes clearly annoyed by Reigns' attitude towards him and becomes tired of waiting for a response.

[Striker]: Y'know, this whole silent but violent thing you have going on, I get it but it really makes for a dull interview. Come on, just say anything, “Believe in Roman Reigns” “Believe in the Shield” just anything so I can go...

Once again, Reigns has no interest in turning around. Instead he begins to stretch out his neck, a few cracks can be heard as he presses his fist against his jaw and slowly turns it but it seems that Matt Striker has lost all interest in trying to obtain his interview and has grown tired of witnessing Reigns' pre-match warm up. He turns to face the camera.

[Striker]: Ladies & Gentlemen, if I have learned anything from my time in this business it is that uncoopperative people never manage to make it far in this business. So it is safe to assume that the person standing to my left will suffer that same fate. Don't believe the hype.

Striker shakes his head and goes to walk away but suddenly stops. He turns his head to look at the cause, the camera then slowly pans to the right to reveal the cause, one of Roman Reigns' hands pressed firmly on Striker's shoulder, preventing him from leaving the area. Reigns slowly and finally turns to face Matt Striker, he has an intense look on his face and it is staring directly at Striker. Matt starts to worry, pondering if he said too much and that his mouth just got him in a whole lot of trouble but his worries are quickly ended, the intense glare that once resided on the face of Roman Reigns has vanished and is replaced by a little smirk. He lets out a slight chuckle and lowers his head, he starts to pat Striker on the shoulder before lifting his head again.

[Reigns]: You know what? You're a funny guy Matt.

[Striker]: Well I...

[Reigns]: No, no, no. You're a really funny guy Matt... But do you know what else is funny?

The hand that was placed on Striker's shoulder lifts and swiftly slaps Striker across the face knocking him to the cold concrete floor. He lies motionless, holding the side of his face and staring up at Reigns. The smirk is gone, there are no more chuckles just a return to that familiar intense glare we have become accustomed to with Roman Reigns. He bends over and grabs hold of Matt Striker's ties and drags him up to his feet. The lift tightened Striker's tie significantly and he pressure causes him to struggle for air, he pulls at the tie but it will just not loosen as long as Reigns has a hold of it.

[Reigns]: Real funny man. I'll tell you what funny man, you want my thoughts? You want something to believe in? If Magnus has the guts and the sheer stupidity to show his face in that ring tonight, I will hurt him so badly that they will feel it back across the pond. Believe that and if you don't get out of here in the next five seconds you will feel that same fate.

Reigns shoves Striker away, again knocking him to the concrete, he quickly squirms about first to loosen the tie that has been inhibiting him from breathing and secondly to scramble up to his feet and quickly flee the scene. The camera man watches as Striker becomes smaller and smaller in the distance before disappearing behind a corner, the camera man slowly turns back round to show Roman Reigns standing behind him. Reigns does a little shoo motion with his hand and without hesitation the camera man drops the very expensive camera and tries to put as much space between himself and Reigns as fast as he can. The fallen camera remains fixed on a wall but Reigns' boots come into picture as he walks closer and closer to the camera before stomping on the lens and turning the camera feed into static.

Normal Match
XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 PatGtHV XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 LBSTzP8

Midway through the match!

Magnus lies on the canvas grasping at his ribs, Reigns stalks behind him before letting out a loud primal scream and driving his fist to the canvas. He waits, he waist as Magnus slowly get up to his feet and in his groggy state turns around to face Reigns who at this point has leaped high into the air and drove his fist with thunderous impact into Magnus' jaw with a Superman Punch. Magnus crumbles to the mat and Reigns covers.

1...

2...

But Magnus drives his shoulder off of the canvas in the nick of time, Reigns can't believe it, he begins screaming at the ref that it was a three count but the ref firmly states that it was just a two which just makes Reigns even more infuriated causing him to foolishly rush into Magnus who rolls him up into a pin attempt.

1....

2....

Reigns kicks out! Both men try to be the first to their feet and Magnus succeeds in that task, Reigns gets up and is quickly knocked down by a clothesline, he again get up to his feet but Magnus only knocks him right back down again. Reigns stumbles backwards into the corner, where Magnus presses his attack and begins to throw massive european uppercuts and every shot snaps the neck back and causes it to collide with the turbuckle. Magnus tries to Irish whip Reigns into the corner but he reverse and instead sends Magnus to the opposite side of the ring, slamming into the turnbuckles with his chest and stumbling backwards. Reigns bounces off the ropes and tries to take Magnus' head off with a clothesline but Magnus ducks, the momentum takes Reigns through and he bounces off the opposite ropes and makes his way back to Magnus who is lying in wait and as Reigns comes back he lifts him high in the air and drives him spine first into the canvas with the MDD! It could be over but Magnus senses that he is one big move from making sure that Reigns is out of this match for good. Magnus assends to the top rope, he stands high on the ropes but before he can jump his feet wobble slightly and he loses his balance. He crouches down and hold the ropes to compose himself before standing tall once again and leaping high into the air and brings an elbow drop crashing down but Reigns just barely manages to get out of the way, Magnus' little stumble may have cost him dearly and gave Reigns enough time to recover. Magnus clings at his elbow, in agony from the high impact it just took, he gets to his feet and SPEAR!! Reigns damn near cuts Magnus in half with a devastating spear. He covers.

Reigns has done it, he has defeated Magnus in what was a very competitive match that could've gone either way. Reigns climbs to the middle rope and he raises his arms high in the air before looking back at Magnus, who is still lying in the middle of the ring still feeling the effects from that devastating spear. Reigns climbs down from the ropes and starts to walk towards the downed Magnus, the ref gets in Reigns' way and tells him that the match is over and to go to the the back but Reigns shoves the ref out of the way and makes his way over to Magnus. The referee signals help from the backstage as Reigns crouches over by Magnus, the security team comes sprinting down and into the ring but stop as Reigns stands up with one of Magnus' elbow pads in his possesion. Reigns stares at the security guards and as he walks over they split in the middle and he exits the ring and makes his way up the ramp. As he reaches the top of the ramp, once more he raises his arms in the air and the camera focuses in on the elbow pad in Reigns' clutches before fading out into a MV for "The Show Off" Dolph Ziggler.

Feedback for.both promo and whatever you made of the match/ending would be appreciated.

Breakdown returns from a brief break and we see Todd Grisham backstage

Todd
Ladies and Gentleman please welcome my guest at this time Michelle McCool

Michelle walks into view and stands beside Todd. She smiles as Todd speaks

Todd
Well, Michelle it's been quite a while you were pretty active in 2013 and you kind of disappeared near the end there. Mind telling us what happened and what you're doing back in this new year?

She lightly laughs and then begins to speak

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 CdAinG0

{Michelle}
Not that you'll be surprised, but I decided to take a break away for a while Hun, after all being on this road 365 days a year non-stop can get pretty tiring. As for what I did? What else. Rehabbed and got myself in tip top shape. Now I'm back and I'm looking to get out there in front of y'all again.

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 IHOvTOo

Todd
Can I get your thoughts on your match tonight? You're facing a once long time rival Natalya later tonight. How are you feeling going into this being the fact that you've just returned and have such a big history with her?

Michelle smiles and shakes her head before speaking

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 Row3a3k

{Michelle}
I was wondering if y'all was gonna ask this question sooner or later. If I'm being totally honest? I'm actually looking forward to it. Hun, to say Nattie and I have history is an understatement, it's not exactly all things I'm proud of but one thing I was proud of was our intense feud for the coveted Diva's Championship. Nattie and I know what it takes to become a champion. We put our bodies on the line every night to be able to perform in front of these amazing fans. So honestly? I'm looking forward to stepping into the ring again with her. Nattie, y'all best bring it Hun, because I know the match will be amazing.

Grisham pauses and speaks again

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 IHOvTOo

Todd
Given your history together is there any thing you'd like to say before you step into the ring to face her?

Michelle sighs and lightly laughs before speaking a final time

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 CdAinG0

{Michelle}
Todd, there's only one thing left to say and I mean this from the bottom of my heart Natalya, Hun, I'm sorry for the way I treated you over the years girl. Y'all know all I was trying to do was be the best in the business. I thought acting mean and tough was the way to go about it and I was wrong. Over the last few years I've done some soul-searching and I've come to realize that the things I did wasn't me. They got me nothing. Sure I got the title, but that wasn't important, y'all's respect is what was missing. Some of us in the back may not like to admit it but we're all friends here and we all have the same thing in mind. Yeah we wanna be the best and we wanna win titles but entertaining y'all is our top priority. Tonight that's what I set out to do. I can only hope you'll forgive me Hun. Now if you'll excuse me Todd I've got a match.

Michelle smiles at Todd and walks off. We fade to black and into the match

*After an array of forearms, elbows, punches, highflying maneuvers, finisher counter upon finisher counter and hard hitting action, the battle between two former allies seems to be nearing its final moments. Rollins had just attempted his signature Blackout but barely missed it, allowing Ambrose to turn Rollins inside out with a stiff lariat, almost knocking him unconscious. Ambrose begins to stalk his former ally as Rollins struggles to his feet, using the ropes for leverage.*

*Ambrose drops down to a knee behind Rollins and raises both arms into the air in the shape of guns, pointing them at his targets back. The second Rollins makes it to his feet, Ambrose “shoots” both “guns” at Rollins, before spinning him around and lifting him up onto his shoulders. Rollins tries to break free of his grip but after the war both men just went through, it's apparent that a lot has been taken out of both men through the entirety of this contest. Just when it seemed that Rollins would suffer what Reigns did just twenty four hours ago, Ambrose is stopped in his tracks.*

*The reigning World Heavyweight Champion's theme suddenly begins to play, catching Ambrose's attention immediately. He turns towards the stage, with Rollins still on his shoulders. Distracted by the theme of the man he attacked just twenty four hours after his championship defense, Rollins takes this opportunity to slide out of Ambrose's grip, rolling him up in the process.*

*Rollins quickly gets out of dodge, rolling out of the ring and walking backwards up the ramp, now wearing a smirk on his face, knowing full well that he got the best of Ambrose tonight. On the other hand, Ambrose is livid in the ring, pushing the referee aside and kicking the bottom rope. Rollins continues to make his way up the stage, leaving Ambrose in the ring to let the loss sink in. After a few moments upon making it to the stage, Rollins raises his arms into the air in victory, causing the live audience in attendance to give a positive reaction towards his well deserved victory.*

*After a few moments, Rollins heads backstage to potentially celebrate his win over Ambrose, who is still in the ring, leaning on the turnbuckle and his back turned to the stage. His attention is quickly grabbed when he hears a voice coming from behind him, on the stage.*

{Alberto Del Rio}
Amigo! How are you?! Were you in the middle of something there?

*Dean Ambrose starts to show a bit of anger on his face as he looks towards the man he assaulted to end X-Treme X-mas*

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 OSXbz1f

{Alberto Del Rio}
You don't look to happy, but what else did you expect? I wasn't going to take what you did to me lying down, you idiota. You can't just come out to the ring and disrespect me, assault me, and then taunt me without expecting me to retaliate! And don't even think for a minute this is retaliation, this a warning, a courtesy from me to you. I know you are a dark man, a scary man, an unforgiving man but I have faced better and more intimidating men than you and I didn't flinch! Not only that but I punched them in the mouth and beat them in front of everybody! So if you want to be the next one up, the next man to take on Alberto Del Rio.....

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 APPeT9X

{Alberto Del Rio}
....and want to take this, then do it like a man! Walk down that ramp, look me in the eye you perra and beat me like that! Because the courtesy I'm giving you tonight, right now is the shot to wash your hands of me and walk away and trust me when I say this, if you don't...if you keep this going, then you are going to be the one whose the prey, you're the target Dean...not me. So, it's decision time for you Dean, do you turn tow and run or do you set off on the trail that leads to you being left like you left me, in a puddle of your own blood only minus the World Championship over your broken body?!

*Alberto grins towards the ring where Dean has seemed to settle down a bit and looks on with a blank expression, although he is gripping the top rope towards the ring tightly. Del Rio and him lock stares as they Alberto raises the championship high into the air...*

XWL Breakdown: 12/29/13 - 1/5/14 - Page 2 1eyXiLQ

*Ambrose grins and nods towards the champion as Del Rio taunts Ambrose, and his loss, as he struts back behind the curtains.*

The arena is settled, chatter and banter being traded off between the thousands of fans in attendance. The commentary team is going on about the shows sponsor's, as usual, but they're thrown off track by the sound of a familiar theme song hitting the PA system.

There's a mixed reaction in the arena as Kenny King pops out onto the stage. A small sum of the fans are cheering, glad to have him back. But there are still the many that remember just the kind of man Kenny King is. He cocks his head to the right, then to left, a half smile revealing itself on his face. He then whips down the ramp, sliding underneath the bottom rope, then springing to life inside the ring. He takes a tour around the ring, slapping each one of the four turnbuckles on his way.  It's been nearly two months since Kenny was last in this ring, and he's happy to be back. After calling for a microphone from the ringside area, Kenny plants himself in the middle of the ring and takes a deep breath.

Kenny
. . . In case you didn't know, or in case you're just slow, I am the pretty boy pit-bull Kenny King, and I am back! After almost two months of being on the shelf with a minor shoulder injury, I was told I could return to doing what I love, and that's being in this very ring, doing what I do best. Now this shoulder injury, it wasn't random, it wasn't out of the blue, no, no. You see, it happened back at the Monster Bash when I was taking on Alex Shelley for the United States championship in a chairs match. A match that I won mind you. At some point or another in the match, Alex managed to slam one of the steel chairs right onto my shoulder. And man, did it hurt. But hey, being the man that I am, I carried on with the bout and came out with my hand raised. Only to find out that I had to defend my new championship the very next week. Ain't that some shit!? So I ran to management and I told them, you can't book me in this match, my shoulder is severely injured! I said to them, postpone it until next week, please, just until I figure out what the deal is with my arm. And just what do you think they said to me? NO! Right to my face, they said, "No, Kenny. The match is booked, and injured shoulder or not, you're defending your championship!" My championship . . . Not mine anymore. Yep, I lost it that night. For one week I was champion. The shortest reign in this companies history, I'm sure. And if that wasn't bad enough, my shoulder was completely thrown to shit. So that's where I've been these past two months. Sitting at home, watching as my United States championship is held in the hands of some buffoon. Yeah, I'm talking about Triple H!

Kenny, now mad, marches a short bit around the ring before coming to a stop. He then shakes his head back and forth and sighs.

Kenny
That immature, undeserving, dinosaur, has what's rightfully mine. And I'm not going to rest until it's safely around my waist once again. But as I said, the new management around here doesn't seem to be on the side of Kenny King. And that's okay, because I don't need anybody. I won that championship on my own last time, and I'll do it just as quick this time. Because I'm the King! I'm Kenny King! And ain't nothing, not Alex Shelley, not management, not even Triple H, can stand in my way. I'm back, and I'm here to take what's mine!

King throws his microphone down onto the mat as his theme song song picks up again. He cracks a wide smile, nodding his head up and down as the fans send their boos his way. The show cuts to commercial as Kenny takes another lap around the ring, glad to be back where he belongs.
