1. A Battle Fit for a Boss and a Brat
Last week, we learned that after the outcome of Peyton Royce vs. Sonya Deville, neither woman would be advancing in the Queen of the Ring tournament. As a result, Sasha Banks secures her spot in the finals to crown the 2019 Queen of the Ring at Coronation. Her opponent? That’s where it gets dicey. Rowdy Ronda Rousey was looking to continue her dominant and effortless rampage through the XWL women’s division, but history repeated itself once again when Liv Morgan pulled off another upset and was able to come out victorious over the MMA fighter for the second time in her career. While both of those stints may be riddled with a bit of controversy, as we’ve come to expect with the cagey Delinquent, they are victorious nonetheless and have earned Morgan her position in the finals as well. At Coronation, the two women who introduced this innovative spin on the tournament will be the ones to finish it, as the Boss and the Brat clash for the crown.

2. The Swiss Cyborg Meets Flyin’ Brian
Brian Pillman Jr. defeated the living legend Shawn Michaels in the King of the Ring semi-finals last week, punching his ticket to Coronation. His opponent, the Swiss Cyborg who picked up a hard-fought win over the Phenomenal AJ Styles to earn his own respective spot in the finals, would also find himself also playing a significant role in the World Heavyweight Championship picture. Cesaro took pride in waking the dormant Dragon inside of Daniel Bryan last week, but as Coronation draws nearer, we’ll be looking for more insight about what the Cyborg’s true intentions are with this constantly developing dynamic.

3. Cut Throat Beauty Kings
The field has finally been set for Coronation regarding the Motor City Cup. Based off of last week’s events, the well-established team of Sami Zayn and Jay White, collectively known as the Cut Throat Era, will try their hand again at an opportunity to etch their names in history as the team that dethroned the longest reigning Tag Team Champions, the Trash City Stupid Idiots. But before they can seal the deal on that match at Ascension, they must first step into the ring with the new and criminally good-looking duo of the Velveteen Dream and Tyler Breeze. Velveteen Breeze has been unstoppable since forming as a unit after both men walked out of Downpour empty handed. How will these two teams fare at Coronation? Will the solidified team who have experienced highs and lows together walk out with the victory, or will the fashionable young bloods take the torch?

4. Lunatic Glorification
After an impressive victory over Joey Janela, Keith Lee’s moment in the spotlight was hijacked by Dean Ambrose. Ambrose has made it his mission to tear through the locker room with as much reckless and lethal force as possible. His target of choice? Glorification in Demonstration, Keith Lee. Well, at least that’s what who we think he’s after. With the unpredictable and unstable Ambrose, it’s never wise to bank on speculation. Regardless, this week Dean is back in action against Bad Boy Joey Janela, who’s vision has hopefully been restored after a pie to the face last week. Will Dean’s real target be identified? Or will Janela derail the Lunatic Fringe before he even has the chance?

5. Diamonds or Gold?
It’s been no secret that the last few months have not been the personal highlight of Alexa Bliss’s career. After jumping through more hoops than she can count, Little Miss Bliss found herself standing across the ring from her best friend Kairi Sane, and the current Women’s Champion Tessa Blanchard. Her partner was to be hand-picked by Vince McMahon himself, that is until a selfless Golden Goddess volunteered herself for the position. Before Mandy would inevitably cut her losses and watch her get fed to the wolves, Bliss beat her to the punch and left Mandy out to dry when she temporarily left the match for an impromptu coffee break. Despite Mandy’s calculated and underhanded efforts, she was eventually outmatched by the team of Blanchard and Sane. This week, Mandy has the opportunity to redeem herself and showcase her celestial skills when she steps back inside of the ring against Tessa Blanchard. Since the inception of her reign, Mandy has insisted that her Championship plays second to none, especially not to the Women’s Championship. Tonight, that theory is put to the test in the Main Event.

The crowd lets out a nice pop at the sound of the Women's Champion's theme, which can only mean one thing, our main event is that much closer to getting underway this evening. Within moments Tessa Blanchard has appeared on stage in a brand new set of black and white gear, she has her back facing the crowd as usual due to what's about to happen next, she sways her hips from side to side and quickly swings her head around before throwing out that infamous wink which has signaled to the world that they've just bore witness to the world famous "Tessa" pose that's captivated so many around the world. Tessa full turns to face the crowd and we get a great look at that gorgeous Women's Championship belt that's firmly wrapped around her waist.

Tessa makes her way down the ramp and is sure to give the people who paid the extra money to get those guardrail seats their money's worth as she slaps hands, signs a couple autographs, and even engages in a few fan selfies before turning the corner which leads to the steps with a look of happiness and excitement on her face, she steps out onto the apron and looks out at the thousands of cheering fans, she pats the title that sits firmly around her waist before stepping through the ropes and entering the ring. Tessa extends her hands and winks once again to the camera before dislodging the title from her waist and raising it high in the sky for the world to take in, her title isn't on the line tonight but it's about as big a match as you can get without it being up for grabs as it's champion vs champion, neither champ wants to call themselves the inferior champion, yet one of these two champions will suffer a loss tonight, who will it be? we're moments away from finding out, but there's still one champion left to enter.








The first thing to appear out onto the stage is not the North American Champion, instead a group of security guards file out into a line and form a barrier around presumably Mandy Rose. After the nasty brawl that took place all across the arena earlier tonight, one could easily understand why Mandy (and likely Vince as well) felt this was an appropriate measure to take in order to ensure the safety of the North American Championship and its holder. Our theories are confirmed as the burly men in black finally part ways just enough for the camera to catch a glimpse of the Golden Goddess striking her signature pose atop the stage while holding her title high. With both arms raised while she peers over the sea of booing fans, Mandy lowers her left hand slowly, letting it fall back behind her head as she combs it through the ends of her golden hair. Meanwhile XWL commentator and president of the Mandy Rose fan club stands to his feet and applauds the Golden Goddess.

What a brave Champion! No other person, male or female, would have the fearlessness to walk out here and defend their honor so shortly after being horrifically assaulted. Bravo!

Brave? She's hiding behind a wall of security for a match that isn't even involving Alexa Bliss.

And that's exactly what shows that she's not only brave, Renee, she's intelligent! She knows how desperate Alexa is, desperate enough to strike at any moment in an effort to cost Mandy yet ANOTHER match.

With a confident smile on her sculpted face, Rose places her North American Championship securely onto her shoulder while she begins to walk down the ramp. As she moves, so does her security force, mirroring every step she takes and ensuring a perfect circle of muscle around her at all times to discourage another savage attack of any kind. After making it to ringside, the security guards all put forth a hand in lifting up the Golden Goddess like a weightless feather, placing her ever so delicately onto the apron in her usual seated position. Rose once again lifts her North American Championship high over her head as she tilts her head back and shakes her golden blonde locks out gracefully. Mesmerizing is just one way to describe the scene. Mandy then sultrily crawls backwards underneath the bottom rope, dragging her title along with her until she has made it fully inside of the ring and stands back up to her feet. Her security guards form a solid line around the ring as best they could without spreading themselves out too thin, making this match seem like a lumberjack match at first glance.

Mandy hands one of the guards her Championship to make sure that it remains in safe keeping until her highly anticipated victory is secured. As she hands off her Championship, however, she is handed a copy of her Muscle & Fitness Hers magazine issue. Mandy raises it up in her hand, flaunting it around the ring like a medal of honor. The entirety of the crowd, save for a few of the men in the front row, boo the Golden Goddess and her magazine cover incessantly, but that doesn't seem to dull her shine in the slightest.



As Mandy is doing her rounds about the ring, covering every corner of the arena, she comes in contact for the first time since making her heavenly presence known, with the woman she'll be sharing the ring with in tonight's Main Event. The only other woman on the roster to actively hold a Championship, Tessa Blanchard. Since her reign's inception, Mandy has made it her mission to prove that her title is not second fiddle to anyone else's, even the Women's Championship. Tonight that's put to the test, as the winner of this contest will take their spot as the Main Event of Coronation. First and foremost though, the North American Champion takes the liberty of rubbing it in the Women's Champion's face first.



Mandy holds the magazine up to Tessa's face and points at it, proclaiming: "You see this? You'll never have this, honey! It's all about the Golden Goddess, you couldn't even-"Mandy's rant is promptly cut off as the Women's Champion knocks the magazine straight out of Mandy's hand with a quick and precise swipe! The crowd delivers a major pop while Mandy's jaw drops as she looks at Tessa with a look of utter disgust and disbelief. "Just trashy, you people don't understand art!" Rose protests as she returns back to her corner to gain a little more distance between herself and the Diamond, Tessa Blanchard.

I for one cannot wait to see the world finally come to terms with the fact that God's Greatest Creation is also God's Greatest Champion, and the softened up Tessa Blanchard couldn't hold a candle to Mandy Rose on her best day! So you might as well gather your things and call your ubers, because this is set up to be the shortest Main Event in history!

I agree Corey, we've already seen Tessa defeat Mandy Rose last week in tag team action. While Tessa might not have gotten the pin on Rose, she did inflict much of the damage. I think the Undeniable Women's Champion will put on yet another clinic here for the North American Champion tonight.

Of course that isn't what I meant, Mauro! Have you lost your mind? Mandy Rose was CHEATED last week! That's just cold hard facts. Alexa Bliss set up the selfless Champion for failure, but let the record books show that our longest reigning North American Champion is still UNDEFEATED! This entire Tessa, Kairi, and Alexa conspiracy to derail Mandy's success train shall not prevail. Mandy is writing the history books, and those 3 are simply scratching for a mention.

Mandy Rose and her sugar daddy Mr. McMahon are writing their OWN version of history, Corey. On paper, Mandy's title reign couldn't be further from the truth.

Blasphemy! You haters are all the same. So intent on discrediting everything that Mandy has accomplished. Your outright denial can only shield you from the endless history being made and constant records being broken for so long.

As the bell rings and Tessa's theme music begins to play, the security guards that surrounded ringside scoop the dazed and lifeless Mandy out from under the bottom rope. One retrieves her North American Championship as they all begin to carry her to the back, shielding her face from the camera's lens as they make their way back up the ramp, leaving the Women's Champion in the ring all to herself. Tessa simply shakes her head at what's just occurred as the referee hands her the Women's Championship and proceeds to raise the Undeniable Diamond's hand in victory here tonight.



The celebration of a statement victory over the other champion in the women's division has seemingly been cut short however as the theme of the Pirate Princess Kairi Sane has taken over the arena, within moments the challenger for Tessa's Women's Championship at Coronation has made her way out onto the stage with a big smile donning her face as usual, she quickly salutes the crowd with her elbow before making her way down the ramp and slapping the hands of some lucky fans on each side of the guardrail along the way. In the ring meanwhile, the referee has decided that his job is done for the night and he departs, leaving Tessa standing in the ring with the title belt draped over her left shoulder, before Kairi can enter the ring, Tessa looks over to the timekeeper's area and signals for two mics, within moments she receives them, when she turns around to see how close Kairi is to entering the ring? she's stunned to see that Kairi is already face to face with her, still with the smile on display of course. Tessa hands one of the mics to Kairi and keeps the other for herself, Kairi's theme cuts off and suddenly Kairi's smile has vanished, Tessa's look of semi shock to Kairi's arrival has transitioned to an intense look of her own, both superstars inch their faces closer to each other as if Coronation is about to come early for these two, suddenly, the tension is cut by the two nodding their heads at each other and delivering a simultaneous announcement....

TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS!!!

What better way to end a simultaneous announcement then with a simultaneous mic drop! That was without a doubt the stipulation choice for their title match at Coronation that these two had to fight for and EARN. Tessa extends her hand to Kairi and it's quickly accepted as the two share another stare down with each other, once the grip is broken Tessa takes a few steps back to put just a little space between the two before lifting her title off of her shoulder with her left hand and raising it high above her head to show the world that the champ is here, and if Tessa has her way? the champ will be here for a long time to come. Kairi responds with her elbow pose that takes aim directly at Tessa's head. What will transpire next week between these two on the final Anarchy before Coronation? Only one way to know for sure, TUNE IN TO FIND OUT!!!
