XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 6RDnp5o

LIVE FROM: Allstate Arena
Rosemont, Illinois

DEADLINE: 4:30 P.M. EST / 9:30 P.M. GMT

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 PyK1DiS

1. Who Will Be the Face of Anarchy?
For only the 3rd time in history, the World Television Championship will be defending on Pay Per View as reigning Champion Dolph Ziggler has been confirmed to take on Kyle O’Reilly at Downpour to determine who will be walking out with the title and as the face of Anarchy. After having the challenge extended to him by the challenger, Ziggler decided to turn up the heat by stipulating that their match take place inside of a steel cage. With only 1 week standing between these two men and their anticipated contest, will tensions boil over one more time before they lock themselves inside of the steel cage for the Championship?

2. A Moment of Mandy
Mandy Rose’s reign of terror over Alexa Bliss’s career continued last week as an unexpected ad for this week’s unconventional take on A Moment of Bliss began to play on the titantron during Alexa’s match with the returning Mickie James. The conveniently timed preview may have costed Alexa her focus and as a result the match, because in the end it was the returning veteran Mickie James who secured the victory off of her trademarked Mickie-DT. During the aftermath while Alexa Bliss was licking her wounds, the North American Champion and Golden Goddess made her first appearance in the flesh since we saw the pair throw down on A Moment of Bliss a couple of weeks ago. Rose confirmed that she will in fact be hosting the talk show for the foreseeable future, and has an exclusive this week when Alexa Bliss guest stars and we all find out what exactly Mr. McMahon and Mandy Rose have decided Alexa’s fate should be after she put her hands on God’s Greatest Creation.

3. New Beginnings
Last week we learned that the Genius of the Sky, Japan’s own Io Shirai signed an XWL contract and is now officially a member of the women’s division on Anarchy. After suffering a loss to Alexa Bliss at International Incident last month, Io took it in stride and decided to make XWL her new home as she looks to reintroduce herself and show the XWL Universe what she’s really made of. Speaking of reintroductions, last week’s edition of Anarchy opened with a reformed Wyatt Family, spearheaded by none other than Bray himself. Accompanied by Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, Bray Wyatt made his intentions crystal clear when it comes to the former Intercontinental Champion, Matt Sydal. Has the Iron Man gotten himself into too much hot water with too many factions? We’ll find out as Io Shirai and the Wyatt Family start their new beginnings in XWL.

4. Undisputed Dispute
Although a previously scheduled match between Matt Sydal and Adam Cole failed to take place, the XWL Universe was treated to a war of words instead when former Undisputed Era member Matt Sydal was confronted by not only his scheduled opponent Adam Cole, but his other friend-turned-enemy in Roderick Strong. After airing their grievances, 2/3rds of the new Undisputed Era challenged Matt Sydal to a tag team match this week on Anarchy, where he will have to find a partner to join his corner. But with the impending threat of the current Intercontinental Champion Buddy Murphy haunting the back of Sydal’s mind, and with his contractual rematch at Downpour coming up, will the Golden Boy manage to not only find himself a partner, but also fend off the entire collective Undisputed Era heading into The Pay-Per-View next week? Previous encounters don’t help Sydal’s odds, but with the right partner, the tides could very well shift in his favor tonight and give him some much needed momentum heading into Downpour.

5. Last Call for the Pod
After a noteworthy Main Event last week between all of the members of the Elimination Chamber match at Downpour for the Women’s Championship, the Empress of Tomorrow stood tall over her peers as she managed to score all 3 eliminations for her team, and was the sole survivor of the bout. Unfortunately, her teammate Allie sustained a serious injury, and it has since been confirmed that she is not cleared to compete inside of the Elimination Chamber next week at Downpour. In light of these events, who is going to fill her spot? We’ll find out one way or another, this week on Anarchy.

As XWL Anarchy begins the opening video finishes playing and an impressive fireworks display highlights the stage area, as the official theme song for Anarchy blasts through the arena, with shots showing an excited capacity crowd eagerly awaiting the action tonight as the commentary team introduces everyone to the staked show tonight

Mauro Ranallo
We are live here in the Rosemont Horizon in Illonis for XWL Anarchy, and what a night we have in store for you all tonight. There's going to be a mammoth main event tonight with huge Downpour ramifications!

Renee Young
That's right it's going to be a Gauntlet match featuring all six male superstars set to feature inside the Elimination Chamber.

Corey Graves
Who knows what could happen in that one, and speaking of the Elimination Chamber, last week Allie suffered an injury in the main event and will NOT be inside the Elimination Chamber for the Women's championship, and tonight we will find out the replacement for that huge match up.

Mauro Ranallo
But that's not all, because we'll have..

As Mauro Ranallo is talking the cameras quickly cut to backstage as a black pickup truck screeches into the backstage area and a bald man in a black t-shirt and jean shorts exits the driver's side of the truck and makes his way out, the camera's don't get a clear shot of who it is, but the crowd know by the distinctive figure, and they start to chant his name. “Austin, Austin, Austin” as the camera's cut back to the announce team, who clearly look shocked over what's just happened.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 WmfJgtR

Mauro Ranallo
What the..!

Renee Young
Is that?

Corey Graves
No way.

Mauro Ranallo
The people certainly think they know who that was.

Corey Graves
It can't be, I don't have this on the format.

As the cameras remain focused on the announce team the chants for Austin grow louder and the excitement of the crowd grows

Mauro Ranallo
I don't think he cares about the format.

Corey Graves
This is chaos!

Mauro Ranallo
Is he coming this way?

Renee Young
Did I just see what I thought I saw?

Mauro Ranallo
Just listen to this crowd!

Corey Graves
This can't be real.

As the camera's cut back to the arena the crowd are on their feet chanting”Austin, Austin, Austin” reaching fever pitch as they await the arrival of The Texas Rattlesnake

When Austin's music hits the cheer erupts in cheers, and the man himself Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his way out onto the stage and down towards the ring

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 IuX9sg1

Mauro Ranallo
It is! Stone Cold Steve Austin is here on Anarchy!

Renee Young
Oh hell yeah!

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 ZxHIruB

As he walks down the ramp, Austin is talking trash to himself and he walks up the steps and enters the ring between the middle and top rope and walks over to the corner to salute the crowd the only way he knows how

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 Ps9fx5w

Mauro Ranallo
Just listen to the ovation from this crowd! This capacity crows are on their feet for Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Corey Graves
But what is he doing here? We haven't seen him in over two years, why is he here now?

Renee Young
I think we're about to find that out, but regardless it's great to have him back.

As Austin walks to enter corner of the ring he climbs to the second rope and raises his hands above his head with his middle fingers out with the crowd drinking it in, the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 5wxqqOH

Corey Graves
Great to have him back? he could have hit somebody with that pick up truck, he's a dangerous man.

Mauro Ranallo
The Rosemont Horizon is an unison, welcome back Stone Cold Steve Austin!

Renee Young
And can you blame them? I can't believe this!

As Austin circles the ring, he takes a microphone from someone at ringside and he paces around the ring as he music fades out and the crowd are still buzzing for his big return

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 Tln5J7D

Stone Cold Steve Austin
It's great to be back here in the XWL.

The crowd cheers for Stone Cold's first words on the microphone

Stone Cold Steve Austin
I said it's great to be back.

As the excitement continues the crowd start to chant Austin's name again forcing him to wait for the noise levels to lessen a bit before he can speak again.

Stone Cold Steve Austin
You see, two years ago Stone Cold Steve Austin took his bags and went back home to his ranch. And do you know what Stone Cold did?

The Crowd
What?

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 EV5GR0P

Stone Cold Steve Austin
Stone Cold drank a few beers.

[/b]As Stone Cold starts to list his drinks he circles the ring stopping at a different point of the ring looking out into the crowd as he lists another drink off[/b]

The Crowd
What?

Stone Cold Steve Austin
A margarita.

The Crowd
What?

Stone Cold Steve Austin
And a few more beers.

The Crowd
What?

Stone Cold Steve Austin
Some vodka.

The Crowd
What?

Stone Cold Steve Austin
Some more beer.

The Crowd
What?

Stone Cold Steve Austin
Some whisky.

The Crowd
What?

Stone Cold Steve Austin
A few more beers.

The Crowd
What?

Stone Cold Steve Austin
Tequila.

The Crowd
What?

Stone Cold Steve Austin
More beer.

The Crowd
What?

Stone Cold Steve Austin
OK, I drank a lot of beer.

As Austin finishes his impressive list of drinks the crowd applauds his efforts knowing this is vintage Stone Cold

Corey Graves
Oh, great, so he's came back to tell us he's drank beer. Good for him.

Mauro Ranallo
That is a lot of beer!

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 MubS1m3

Stone Cold Steve Austin
The problem was, sitting at home drinking beer, doing some hunting, and god knows else got a little boring. I was fixing for something. A little competition, and luckily enough one day Stone Cold got a little phone call. And that phone call was from Vince McMahon himself, and he said “Steve, we want you back”, so I told him WHAT? He said he wanted Stone Cold Steve Austin back. WHAT? We need you. WHAT? XWL needs you. WHAT? We need Stone Cold Steve Austin back doing what he does best. WHAT? Drinking beer. WHAT? And raising a little bit of hell whenever I damn well want. WHAT? Well damn it, Vince, you don't have to ask me twice, I'll be there Monday.

Renee Young
Well it is Monday.

Stone Cold Steve Austin
And what better time to start raising hell then tonight,  so what Stone Cold Steve Austin wants is somebody back there to line each and every single XWL Superst1ar up and send them out one by one and I'll work my way through each and every single one of them!

As Steve Austin threatens to start making his way through the entire roster the crowd cheer again, in anticipation of Stone Cold working his way through every Superstar XWL has to offer

Corey Graves
He can't do that!

Mauro Ranallo
Just try to stop him, you know what this man is capable of.

Corey Graves
And that's exactly why he shouldn't be here!

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 Ww1PNlU

Stone Cold Steve Austin
But tonight, it's opponent number one, and that opponent goes by the name of Curt Hawkins. And Curt Hawkins' is a man who like to face the facts. So here's some facts for you. Fact number one, that little cane you carry around makes you look stupid.

The crowd
What?

Stone Cold Steve Austin
I said it makes him look stupid. Fact number two. I've got a lot of lost time to catch up on, a lot of people to flip off, and a lot of Stunner's to dish out, and Jesus Christ son, I've got an itchy trigger finger, so here's to you!

Looking down the camera Austin gives the old Stone Cold salute with both fingers presumably aimed directly to Curt Hawkins

Stone Cold Steve Austin
Fact number three. I know your somewhere backstage with your beady little eyes glued onto the monitor looking directly at me right now, legs trembling, lips quivering, piss running down your leg, because you know what you;re looking at right now is the world's toughest son of a bitch!

The crowd cheers for Austin again as he talks himself up

Stone Cold Steve Austin
Fact number four, as soon as you step into this ring, you're stepping into Stone Cold's ring and I've got a big old can of whoop ass ready to be opened with your name on it!

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 VTl91aG

Stone Cold Steve Austin
So if you think Stone Cold Steve Austin should open of a can of whoop ass all over Curt Hawkins tonight, gimme a hell yeah!

The crowd
Hell Yeah!

Stone Cold Steve Austin
What?

The crowd
Hell Yeah!

Stone Cold Steve Austin
What?

The crowd
Hell Yeah!

Stone Cold Steve Austin
That's just what I thought.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 VTl91aG

Stone Cold Steve Austin
And fact number five, tonight you're not facing the facts, you're facing Stone Cold Steve Austin and that's just not something you don't do! So tonight I'm doing the stomp a mud hole in your ass, and walk it dry! And that's the bottom line!

Stone Cold Steve Austin and the crowd along with him
Cause Stone Cold said so!

As Austin finishes speaking his music hits again

With his music blasting Austin signals for a beer to be thrown at him as on command someone from the ringside area throws Austin a beer, and then another

Corey Graves
He can't drink beer now, he has a match tonight! Vince, what have you done?

Renee Young
Oh lighten up, Corey. How can't you love a good old fashion beer bash?

Climbing to the second rope on one of the turnbuckles Austin opens both of the beers and bashes them together before pouring the beers into his mouth and all over him to the delight of the crowd

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 HThfxGT

Corey Graves
Lighten up? He's been back for less than a day, he almost ran somebody over and he's drinking before his match tonight. Nobody is safe with him around.

Mauro Ranallo
You might want to keep that to yourself Corey, you don't want to get on Austin's bad side.

As Austin's celebration continues XWL Anarchy heads to a commercial break

When Anarchy returns from commercial break, we are brought to an unusual location that some fans with a good memory may recognize. It’s a dimly lit theater stage, appearing to be the same one that Aiden English has appeared on at multiple points throughout his career before major moments. And with the Elimination Chamber this Sunday, and it likely his last shot at reclaiming the World Heavyweight Championship, this is definitely a major moment. But unlike the other times Aiden has appeared, there’s no fancy lighting, no audience. Aiden’s not even there. It’s just silence. That is until one lone spotlight appears in the middle of the stage, eventually filled by Aiden English, who slowly walks into the spotlight and sits down, cross-legged. The camera switches focus, this time giving a close-up shot in front of Aiden, so we can see every detail of him.

{Aiden English}
Three weeks ago in the main event of Anarchy I defeated JBL and qualified for the Elimination Chamber match at Downpour. I was ecstatic, over the moon. Not only was I getting another chance to win the World Heavyweight Championship, but I got it by finally beating the man who made my life hell for the past year, JBL. Everything seemed perfect. Because it had to be. I… I needed it to be.

{Aiden English}
Many of you may remember what I was like when I first debuted. How I would draw parallels between what was happening in XWL and story books. Talking about story structures, plots, drama, all that. And while in theory I put all that behind me, I just couldn’t stop thinking like that, that every chance I got was finally going to be my happy ending, my big conclusion. The fact that wasn’t happening, it just didn’t make sense to me. You have the story of a man who’s been treated terribly by his mentor, finally having a chance to get his revenge at the biggest event of the year in front of tens of thousands of cheering fans. The story writes itself. It made so much sense. But I lost.

{Aiden English}
And then at International Incident I lost again. I didn’t know what to do with myself at that point. Should I retire? Should I just move on from the world title and admit I wasn’t good enough? Did I keep pushing? I didn’t know. I was overtaken by my emotions yet again. But I was given one more opportunity, not just to win the world title, but to defeat JBL, the man who had plagued my thoughts all this time. If I could defeat him, then my mind would be cleared finally, and I would be able to just focus on winning the world championship again and solidifying my legacy. Once I beat JBL, everything would make sense.

{Aiden English}
But it still didn’t. If anything my life made even less sense. I had put so much of my worth into this idea, this goal of defeating him, that when I finally did I almost felt hollow. What was even my goal at that point? To win the World Heavyweight Championship? Did it even mean anything to me at that point? Did anything here? Had I reached my peak? Was it time to retire?

Aiden looks down at the stage he’s sitting on, the very same one where the first video promoting his debut was filmed. A lot of things had changed since then. His career has reached the highest of heights, but he has tasted the lowest of lows. There are more questions than there ever were before, that’s for sure. And he’s certainly had to come and pour his heart out to the XWL Universe more times than he thought he would have to. The night after JBL attacked him, the Michael Cole interview, this. It’s definitely a pattern. Is this one different though? Had Aiden English really reached his peak? Has he come back to this stage to retire? It’s clear from what the camera can pick up on his face still looking at the floor that there’s many things going through his mind, but how will those thoughts manifest themselves? As Aiden slowly lifts his head back up, it seems we’re about to get the answer.

{Aiden English}
But that’s when I realized exactly what’s been going wrong. Ever since leaving the Cabinet, I’ve been one of two things. Either the Aiden English hell-bent on getting a victory over JBL, or the Aiden English whose emotional, doesn’t know what he’s thinking, unsure of himself. And once I realized this, the answer became clear. I don’t have to retire, but those two do. The real reason I’m here on this stage is to deliver a warning to the other five men in the Elimination Chamber with me.

{Aiden English}
The Aiden English you think you know is dead. And trust me, I will rise from the ashes stronger than ever, win the Elimination Chamber, and take the World Heavyweight Championship. And while I’m at it, I will elevate back to where it belongs, the top title in the company. Because I’ll be perfectly honest with you Drew, despite you saying you would do that at the start of your reign, you’ve been doing a pretty shit job at it.

{Aiden English}
Let’s take a serious look at the people we have competing at Elimination Chamber, and you tell me that you’ve brought the title’s reputation back. We’ve got Tyler Breeze, a man probably more worried about the dinners and photoshoots he has the night of Downpour than the actual Chamber match, who’s probably going to have to try and “squeeze” the Elimination Chamber match into his schedule.

{Aiden English}
And speaking of men who seem to have no care in the world, Velveteen Dream. Now Dream, as a competitor I have respect for you. It may have been while my neck was still hurt, but you did still beat me fairly in the middle of that ring. But as a person? Do you even watch this show other than when you’re on? Do you even know anything about the other five of us, what we’re like? Our personalities, our wrestling styles? When it comes to a match like the Elimination Chamber, there’s just no way a personality like yours can last.

{Aiden English}
Aleister Black. You know, we’re actually pretty similar you and I. Adding that little touch of dramatic flair that sometimes an event needs. I can appreciate it. I even saw two weeks when you compared me to Icarus. I liked it, it was cute. But the fact of the matter is, you’re stepping into the ring with someone who doesn’t just know how to add drama to a match, but also how to win one, so you better be careful not to get too caught up in your own image.

{Aiden English}
The next competitor in this match is Daniel Bryan, and if I’m not the fan favorite, it’s probably him. And why wouldn’t he be? He’s the scrappy underdog, who’s had to fight his whole life against people doing him he’s not good enough, that he’ll never make it. It’s all so compelling. But I’ve already made my thoughts on men like you clear Daniel. Boring. And at Downpour I’m going to make sure that someone with a personality other than being a vegan who probably doesn’t even have internet walks out with the championship.

{Aiden English}
And that leads me back to the champion and the men I know the most in this match, Drew Mcintyre. I’m done making my life about what happened in the Cabinet, so I won’t dwell on it. What I will say is that you got lucky there was another man at International Incident and you didn’t have to pin me to win that title Drew. But at Downpour you won’t be so lucky, and I’ll make sure to right that wrong.

{Aiden English}
Because you see, I have an advantage heading into this match that the other five men don’t. The Elimination Chamber is a hellish structure, one where anything can happen, your body can go through unspeakable pain. So everytime you try to make a plan, it’s like there’s hundreds of little voices and messages, warning you, yelling at you, reprimanding you. But unlike everyone else in this match, I’m used to the voices, I’m not afraid of death, and come this Sunday, I reclaim what is rightfully mine.

Brimming with a confidence we have not seen from him in quite some time, Aiden jumps back up to his feet, smiles and takes a bow before exiting stage left. Will Aiden be able to live up to his lofty words at Downpour? We’ll just have to wait and see this Sunday. In the meantime, the camera fades to our next segment of the night, as Anarchy continues.

PostSubject: Re: XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019   XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 Icon_minitimeFri May 24, 2019 3:17 am

As the theme song of John Cena plays for the first time in a few weeks, things seem different. When Cena comes out from behind the curtain, he’s not smiling and playing up to the crowd, he doesn’t talk to the camera. Instead, hei immediately gives his trademark salute and runs to the ring, with an extremely focused look on his face. He’s not scheduled for a match here tonight, so why exactly he’s out here is a mystery. But, considering he motions for a ring attendant to hand him a microphone, it seems the answer will soon become clear enough.

[John Cena]
You know, when I came back here a couple weeks ago, I’m gonna be honest. I was hoping things would be a little different. I was hoping I’d pick up some wins, climb back up the ladder, win a championship. What I was not hoping for was to lose. What I was not hoping for was for this man Walter to come out and attack me, prompting me to not even be booked for the next few weeks. Wasn’t hoping for any of those things.

[John Cena]
And so I’ve spent the past few weeks just sitting there in the back, wondering. What did he hope to accomplish by attacking me? He’s an impressive dude who can hold his own. He doesn’t need to be attacking people who’ve already gone through a match. So what’s his beef? And then it hit me.

[John Cena]
Walter, just like many men before him, thinks he can waltz in here and use John Cena’s name to make a quick impact. To solidify themselves as a major threat right out of the gate, no effort needed. It’s an interesting idea, it really is. But let me tell you something right now sir. Many men before you have tried the same idea. And almost every single one of them have failed, because I can not and will not allow myself to be used as a welcome mat, the first stop of your career.

[John Cena]
So if you ask me, I say you should grow a pair, come down here right now when I’m ready, and let’s settle this!

The lights go out all while blaring the theme of the man who came out just three weeks ago and by what John Cena has claimed, made an impact at his expense. Then the all familiar bright white light appears from behind casting a massive silhouette who we know belongs to The Ring General, WALTER. The lights return to show WALTER standing on the stage in his signature pose all while the crowd willingly cheers him and chants his name. WALTER then proceeds down the ramp in ring gear as if he is expecting a fight. WALTER then reaches the ring area where instead of stopping and staring down his opponents, he continued on up the ring steps wiping his feet on the matt and receiving a microphone from one of the ring crewman and entering the ring. Walter stops in front of John Cena practically able to smell his breath and stares Cena down for a brief moment before backing up and standing in his signature pose. The one hand holding the microphone comes from around his back while the other stays put as WALTER then begins to speak.

WALTER
I didn’t need your name to make an impact, the impact was made the minute the lights turned out my theme began to play and my silhouette was shown. Just my presence makes an impact anywhere I go, the fans recognize me from my skill from my theme alone fans around the world know who Der Ring General (The Ring General) is.

Walter stops for a moment while the crowd begins chanting WALTER, WALTER, WALTER.

WALTER
One thing I don’t appreciate is when someone misconstrues my words against them or another wrestler. I did not attack you. Technically you attacked me, I just retaliated. That’s how it works Johnathon, I simply came in to make my presence known and it drove you mad enough that you attacked me first. Now I could have done the same thing to Drew McIntyre at the end of the night but I don’t want that title, not yet. You see Mr. Cena I came out after your match because I wanted to go one on one with someone, I’ve never had the chance to in my career.

John Cena looks confused, perhaps by the fact that he has been called Johnathon and Mr. Cena, or maybe the fact that WALTER is extremely calm, almost passive in his explanation of his actions just a few weeks ago. Maybe it’s the fact that WALTER hasn’t hit him with a cheap shot like everyone else would have done by now.

WALTER
I see the intrigued look on your face, I’m sure you're waiting for me to be like everyone else and hit you with a cheap shot, well you can let your guard down because it’s not happening.

Walter removes the free hand from behind him opened to show no object of any kind other than the skin on his fist as he closes it and returns it behind him as if that is where he was taught to put his hands if they were free.

WALTER
I’m not going hit you, not now. I understand that you're ready to fight tonight, but tonight is not a good night, let’s do it at Downpour.

The fans erupt in excitement at the challenge just laid down by WALTER in a very unusual, calm way.

Renee Young
I’m not sure whether to be calmed or scared at the fact that WALTER handled that whole situation as calmly as he did.

Corey Graves
That is just one of the many things WALTER has mastered in his career, the mind games being played by doing absolutely nothing, there are not many like him.

Cena removes his cap and scratches his head, looking like he's thinking about to what to say in response to Walter's challenge. He has to choose his words carefully here, lest he continues to fall victim to Walter's mind games. Eventually, he places his cap back on his head and stares directly at the face of the Ring General.

[John Cena]
I'll give you props. You've come down here and you've laid a challenge for a fair fight, something many other men have failed to do when they want my attention. And for whatever reason it was, just to make a name for yourself, to have a new opponent, it doesn't matter. You're the one looking for my attention, and it's up to me how I dish out said attention.

[John Cena]
And maybe this is me falling right into your trap, maybe I'm about to give you exactly what you want. But I sure as hell want revenge for what happened at International Incident, so if you wanna fight at Downpour? YOU'RE ON!

The fans erupt in excitement at this future matchup, as it's sure to be fun to watch between these two great competitors. It's clear Cena is not finished, however, as he raises the microphone once again to speak.

[John Cena]
And if you think you're going to be able to pull one on me or lull me into a false sense of security think again. I've been around this block many more times than you kid, I know every trick in the book. So watch out.

WALTER, not a smirk one on his face raises the microphone back up with the one arm still behind him.

WALTER
Let’s make history Johnathon

WALTER then places the microphone still in his hand behind him as he steps back towards the ropes, exiting the ring while the remainder of his theme bellows throughout the arena walking towards the back.

Mauro Ranallo
A first time ever match up, made by The Ring General in what I dare say was the oddest way I have ever seen a challenge laid out.

Corey Graves
There is no odd about it Mauro, WALTER came out and laid out an explanation as well as a challenge in the calmest way possible, the man simply knows how it’s done.

Renee Young
It really creeped me out, but never the less I’m curious to see how he performs against actual competition rather than throwing around the local talent like rag dolls.

Mauro Ranallo
With our sights set to Downpour, this is surely to be a must see blockbuster.

With Mauro finishing his line we continue on to our next contest.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 MEC80mq

As Anarchy rolls right along, we first see a graphic promoting tonight's edition of A Moment Of Bliss, hosted by The North American Champion Mandy Rose where usual host Alexa Bliss will be the guest as she prepares to face her fate in response to her recent actions against Mandy Rose, and criticisms of Mr. McMahon. Following a reminder of what's to come, we head backstage where one of our interviewers is standing by to conduct an interview with former Intercontinental Champion Matt Sydal.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 YG0QYmz

[Interviewer]
Matt, ever since The Undisputed Era turned their backs on you, your world has been in spirals. You lost your incredible reign as Intercontinental Champion due to the legal interference in your TLC defense against new Undisputed Era member Buddy Murphy...and, just two weeks ago you lost to Bray Wyatt. Clearly you haven't been yourself after the knife that was driven into your back, the question is...how do you move forward?

[[Matt Sydal]]
As I would any other point in my career where things didn't pan out my way. Yes, I took it hard...because I've never been the type of competitor that made "friends." I don't put my trust in anyone else because I'm capable of being all I need. But for the first time in my career, I was in a place where I wasn't enough. I had the nerve, the will to fight, but I was outgunned, outnumbered, and out of options. Adam Cole, Pete Dunne, and Roderick Strong came to me and offered me a way out of the hell I had found myself in. They refused to sit by while a legend, and this is using their words...was disrespected and disregarded by the company he put on his back. So they vowed to fight not just for me...but WITH me. They opened my eyes to something I had previously taken for granted. The feeling that you're not alone, the feeling that you get when you're surrounded by people who have your best interests at heart, not just their own.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 Zn1FbV7

[[Matt Sydal]]
They became not just my friends...but...brothers. So yes, I have struggled to ask myself how I allowed them to deceive me...to "shock my system." But at this point? They're dead to me, just like they all will soon be dead to this company. I'm not an enemy that you make, I'm an enemy that you remember for the rest of your life because I am unlike your average "enemy." I do not go down in a blaze of glory while you ascend to your own. No, no...I rise up from the ashes I was reduced to...and set your whole world on fire. The Undisputed Era did not get rid of "dead weight." They got rid of their very existence. I brought them into this world...and I will take them out of it if it is the last thing I do.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 Sa31SjW

[[Matt Sydal]]
Starting with MY Intercontinental Championship that they stole from me. Listen, I'm no saint...I've broken every rule in the book. But there is one rule that is not written in that book, and it is the law of a Champion. A Champion is a Champion by their doing, not anyone else's. I can rake your eyes, kick you below your belt when the referee turns his back...dash out of the ring to retrieve a chair when you unexpectedly bump into the official and he's temporarily taken out of the equation. I can prop my feet on the ropes for leverage, I can ambush you as you walk down the ramp to gain an edge in our upcoming match. Even slip a pair of gold knuckles out of my waistband and onto my hand to show you a newfound power to my punch. That is MY will, that is MY cunning, THAT is fair game. If Buddy had simply done any of the above? Hey, fair play to him. But what he did? Was allow you underlings that he manipulated into believing he was better than me, and that THEY were better than me...and then had them hold me within the rung of that ladder, as he pulled down MY championship!

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 KgAfMFN

[[Matt Sydal]]
Buddy Murphy may have taken my title on a technical sense...but he did not take my spirit. I am a Champion, whether there's a belt around my waist or not. That is something that is earned, that is something that you embody...that is something you do not lose unless you are bested and then it is transferred to the next in line. What boils within me tonight, is that Champion spirit, a spirit that is longing for the title that is HIS! Fact of the matter is, Buddy Murphy is a fraud, The Undisputed Era is a FRAUD...because their era belongs to me...as it has for the last decade. They were supposed to be the next generation of SUPERSTAR. Instead, they are a reminder of what happens when you get too big for your britches, and your ego clouds your judgment. They had the holy grail of Superstars within their circle...and now that it's gone? They're not special, they're not the future of this company...they're a memory that will be long forgotten after I regain my Intercontinental Championship...and they cease to exist in their own "era."

[Interviewer]
Buddy Murphy had Roderick Strong & Adam Cole deliver a message to you last week, that he would decide when your rematch was enacted...and in what type of match. He's supposed to reveal that tonight, do you have any concerns over what he may have in store for you?

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 ZMIH8jx

[[Matt Sydal]]
His best kept secret is better left unsaid. Because trust me, no matter the what, or the when? The question is simply HOW will I regain what is MINE? I excel on any stage, in any environment, and if he thinks he's going to worry me with the unknown? Then he really has no idea who he chose to mess with, does he? I am The IRON that has sharpened this company long before he got here, and will continue to long after he and his buddies are gone. So bring your worst Buddy...I'll do what I always do, and bring nothing but my best.

The interviewer goes to speak again but a 'shh' sound cuts her off. The television screen behind the former champion changes to show Buddy Murphy with his finger pressed against his lips being the source of that sound. He is elsewhere in the arena. We're not sure where. He's standing in front of a purple screen but that's the only clue we have.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 KV1Yc9n

[BUDDY MURPHY]
Those are some mighty strong words coming from a man such as yourself but rather than focusing on anything you had to say how about we cut to the chase, yeah? Because I have the answers you seek. I have the answer to the question of the hour: what match type will Matt Sydal be competing in to attempt to reclaim his Intercontinental Championship? I thought long and hard about this and I weighed my options before coming to a decision. I decided that I need to make a point to you that I am the Best Kept Secret and I am the future of this company. I looked far and wide at all of the choices. From Hell in a Cell to Three Stages of Hell and there was one match which stood out to me. One match above all that if I can beat you in then there's no denying that I deserve this Intercontinental Championship. Iron Man, I'm going to be giving you the home field advantage. I'm going to be playing your games since that's what you've wanted these last couple weeks. It's not my game anymore. We're playing by your rules. At Downpour, I will defend my championship against you in a 60 minute Iron Man match. If this is what it takes to prove that my championship win was no fluke then I'll do what must be done. I'll beat the Iron Man at his own game in front of the entire world. Secrets out, mate. I'll see you on Sunday.

A confident smirk is the cheery on top of the statement made by the Intercontinental Champion. The feed cuts out and we focus back on Sydal and the interviewer who stands with him looking at the monitor.

[Interviewer]
Wow, Matt there you have it Buddy Murphy just announced he'll be defending The Intercontinental Championship against you in a 60 Minute Iron Man Match. That certainly takes a lot of guts to challenge someone like you who has been unmatched in that type of match. What's going through your mind right now?

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 YmqLs6m

[[Matt Sydal]]
Buddy Murphy's 60 Minutes of fame are almost up...but I must say I do admire his confidence. Challenging me of all Superstar to an Iron Man Match? Bold move, Buddy. But let's make one thing abundantly clear, The Iron Throne belongs to me...and it's surrounded by the bodies of men that have tried to take it from me. Bodies, that will soon include you. I'm taking back my Intercontinental Championship, and if your backstabbing pals try to get in my way? I'll shut down the "systems" of The Undisputed Era, permanently.

Matt stares straight into the lens of the camera as if he's looking directly at all three members of The Undisputed Era. They collectively robbed him of his Intercontinental Championship in Scotland...but the question is...can Matt regain his title and combat any schemes his former brothers may have in mind to ensure their investment in Buddy Murphy remains in tact? Anarchy fades as the show continues on.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 MEC80mq

The camera pans over the booing fans and finally zeroes in on the set of A Moment of Bliss. Both seats are empty, and the stage is isolated save for a man placed off to the side who appears to be Corey Graves holding a cue card in his hand and a microphone in the other.

[Corey Graves]
Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come! I ask you all to join me in standing to your feet for we are scheduled to come face to face with GREATNESS in the form of God's Greatest Creation! She is the current and soon-to-be longest reigning North American Champion in history... GIVE IT UP, for the one and only GOLDEN GODDESS, MANDY, ROOOOSE!

Corey steps aside and applauds as the rest of the world opts to boo. Their vocal disapproval is once again seemingly muffled as Mandy walks out onto the stage with her North American Championship in hand. She struts by Graves, who is practically bowing at her feet, and as she rounds the table and chair setup, an entire entourage of burly security guards file out behind her. Mandy pays them now mind as they all get into position around the stage, watching like hawks for anything that may disrupt the Golden Goddess. Rose pauses in front of her white chair and raises both arms high, one extending the North American Championship up into the air, while the other gracefully and delicately falls back down behind her head. She puts on a warm and beaming smile as she takes her seat, and places her Championship comfortably across her shoulder before Corey runs up to give her a custom golden microphone before bowing one last time and darting back to the announcer's table.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 ABnv2Oo
Welcome everyone to A Moment of TRUE Bliss, with your host, me, Mandy Rose. Now, for those of you who were understandably too distracted by my success and beauty to keep up with what's been the unfortunate route that my guest tonight has decided to take over the last few weeks, allow me to enlighten you and bring you up to speed... It all started when Alexa Bliss thought that she could fare in the ring with the one and ONLY Goddess in a Number One Contender's match that also featured Ember Moon. Inevitably during that match, natural order reigned supreme and yours truly became Number One Contender, and did so by pinning bitter Miss Bliss herself, like most of you, has been unable to keep my celestial name out of her mouth ever since. Her emotions finally got the best of her when I politely and selflessly accepted her invitation to appear on what was prior to this very moment, just another struggling talk show with an inadequate and unaccomplished host. Alexa, in a fit of rage and jealousy that was completely and utterly undeserved and unprovoked, decided to put her hands on her gracious and far more stunning guest. Completely caught off guard and traumatized by the vicious attack, Mr. McMahon decided that it would be best for me to take a step back and recuperate a couple of weeks ago. I know it was hard being without me for the first time since my historic crowning as North American Champion, but I can assure you that neither I nor my title are going anywhere. But unfortunately, tonight isn't ALL about me. Disappointing, I know, but let's take just a portion of my unrivaled spotlight, and shine it on my guest here tonight, because she obviously needs all the help she can get, ALEXA BLISS!

The mood in the arena shifts from misery and disgust to "true Bliss" as the sound of Alexa's theme echoes through The P.A. It's certainly a bizarre idea to think that the host of this show, is now the guest after Mandy took control of it tonight...but with Alexa actually taking part in this we imagine it's going to be as must see as their previous encounter when the roles were reversed. Alexa steps out from the back, a wall of Mandy's security in her path. She places her hand on one of their arms scooting them aside then flashes a smile as she spots Mandy sarcastically applauding the arrival of her guest. Alexa circles the set and approaches her seat, but instead goes further...walking up to Mandy but immediately one of the guards acts as a divider between them and points to her seat. Alexa throws both hands up innocently pointing to her right hand saying "I was just going to shake her hand..." but they stand their ground. "Clearly someone takes their job too seriously..." Alexa exclaims then backs up and takes her seat to which the guard then steps out of frame.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 ABnv2Oo
Alexa, so-... divine, to see you again. I trust you've learned to control yourself a little better since the last time we met on this stage, but just in case you haven't, I'm sure you understand why Vince has insisted that I have a personal security force by my side at all times for the duration of this interview to ensure that your emotions and unprofessionalism remain at bay... Now that we're all caught up and on the same page, why don't I start by asking you: how's your head feeling after having it implanted into the mat by somebody old enough to be your mother? You seemed a little bit starry-eyed from where I was standing, but then again I guess you were in the presence of a REAL Goddess.

Mandy Rose crosses her legs and rests her elbow on the arm of the white chair. She uses the palm of her hand to prop up her chin as she narrows her eyes "curiously" at Bliss. The faintest signs of a smirk dance across the North American Champion's lips as she hopes to watch Alexa squirm under the newfound pressure of having her own show taken away from her.

[Alexa Bliss]
Gee, Mandy...thanks so much for your concern but my head is just fine. Which I guess is more than I can say for your face...I mean, when I smacked it off that backboard behind us...I wasn't trying to ruin God's Greatest Creation...but, looking at you now...your nose is looking a little crooked. My sincerest apologies, I don't know what came over me...I guess my jealousy just possessed me. I mean, I consider myself a pretty good looking Woman...yet, in my 4 years here Mr. McMahon never once slid into my DMs with promise of opportunities in exchange for a few extracurricular activities...but, gosh....in 4 months he was absolutely smitten with you wasn't he? I think it's time to just take this "Moment" of what did you call it? True Bliss? To be honest once and for all. I am jealous of you, jealous that my one true love Mr. McMahon never batted an eye at me, or handed me a title I didn't win...or stole someone's talk show and gave it to me. You know, maybe it's because I got dumped on my head last week because of your curiously timed advertisement...but say, do you think you could take me under your wing and show me the way of being the shining example of a female competitor in this day and age? It'd mean the absolute world to me...honest.

The way that Alexa can navigate the art of a backhanded compliment and sincerity is quite a feat to witness...you don't see a single tinge of malice in her gaze...her smile that appears following that last line seems innocent...and...hopeful. Her eyes seem to widen to that of a child as they look to someone they greatly admire.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 ABnv2Oo
Charming, Alexa, but as I’ve told you and all of these people before, Vince and I have a strictly professional and work-appropriate, business relationship. However if you really want to keep bringing this up time and time again, we can play into your little conspiracy theory for just a brief moment. If Vince was on the lookout for a— a sugar baby? Isn’t that how you’ve tried to spin this before? Right, so if Vince McMahon was on the market for a sugar baby, then one place where I do agree with your theory is that I do think it would make perfect sense for him to naturally be inclined to chose someone who looks like me, opposed to someone like you whose personality, career, and “assets” are all just a little bit... flat. But, with that out of the way, let’s talk a little bit more about your match with Mickie James last week. I want to know, we all want to know: how does it feel being beaten by a woman who is so far past her prime, and practically covered in ring rust from head to toe?... Has your blatant loss last week at all impacted or shaken your delusions of grandeur when comparing yourself to the likes of someone, let’s say me for example, who is far more successful than you are?

Mandy Rose lowers her hand and microphone to rest gently over her crosses legs as she bats her long eyelashes in the direction of Bliss, showing her “friendly” foe that two can play at this game, and there may not be two more suitable women in the business than these two to do it.

[Alexa Bliss]
I think losses are an excellent source of motivation. Take Asuka for example, didn't you beat her not too long ago? Yet look what she did last week. She not only was the winning competitor in The Main-Event, she eliminated all three of her opponents, by herself. So yes, losses can be demoralizing. But you have a choice to make in those instances, do you let it define you, or ignite something within you? Now as far as Mickie's age? She's not exactly a stay at home mom. She's been tearing it up outside of this company since the day she left...and the Mickie James I fought last week? Proved not only does she still have "IT" but that she never lost it to begin with. No, losing to her...regardless of HOW I lost...has not deterred me in any way of achieving what I want, which for consistencies sake...is to become North American Champion.

Alexa lowers her mic, as she stares at Mandy sweetly, crossing her legs and resting her hand on the top of her knee as she politely awaits for the host to continue.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 ABnv2Oo
Which segues right along into my next question. Since my inevitable rise to glory here in XWL, you’ve had a... Well, relentless, tireless, unwanted, and consistent eye for me and all of my successes. My next question for you Alexa, is what gives you the impression that you have what it takes to be North American Champion, and what makes you think that you’re in any way shape or form “Champion” material? Clearly you’ve convinced yourself of that somehow, but it doesn’t exactly correlate with your track record. At best, you’re nothing more than a below average in-ring competitor and a mediocre talk show host that’s obviously very easily replaceable. So, what’s the secret sauce? What, in your questionable little mind at least, makes you cut out for this?

[Alexa Bliss]
Well for starters, while you were developing that absolutely glowing tan of yours...I was placed in a match against the FIRST EVER North American Champion Toni Storm. You know, the Australian that in her very first match, in her very first month, in The Main-Event of Roulette...rose to super-stardom when she defeated Shayna Baszler in a Fatal Four Way Match, that involved the now Women's Champion Kairi Sane and the now "Shenom" Ember Moon. A match I won, now not to say that makes me "better" than her...but if I can defeat her, who at one time beat but then lost to Shayna Baszler...after previously beating her...who then defeated you...and, never lost...to you. Then I'd say going off the track record of The North American Championship...one loss, or victory for that matter doesn't disqualify or prove you're better than someone. Because Shayna was pinned by Toni, then went on to redeem that loss. And you yourself, lost to Shayna...once or twice, we won't hold the first time against you because interference in matches shouldn't decide our fate, right? But as I was saying you lost to Shayna, and look at you now. Who really won in the end? You. My entire proposal really rests on the fact that no North American Champion before you, including you actually...has beaten The Woman they defeated to win it twice. So as XWL accurately displayed in a video package the week of your island getaway...you pinned me to become North American Champion...but that just poses the question of whether or not you can make history and do it again...or be doomed by the track record of The North American Championship that so stunningly rests on your shoulder right now? It's really a fascinating theory, isn't it? Failure seems to equal success, while success...seems to lead to failure. I know I wouldn't want to have that cloud looming over me if I was Champion...but hey, who am I impose my beliefs on the woman, nay...The Goddess that really has nothing to prove to me or anyone else?

Little Miss Bliss with the most soft, yet somehow..."bitchy" smile sits up in her seat and lowers her mic as she looks to The North American Champion for her next question.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 ABnv2Oo
Yes, Alexa, all of these theories are fascinating, truly, but unfortunately they don’t win Championships, or even qualify you to contend for such a refined and prestigious title as the one so elegantly placed on my shoulder right now. Toni Storm and Shayna Baszler are, well... C+ players, and if there’s one thing I’ve done since signing my contract, it’s make history. And you’re right about Toni, a long long time ago she had an incredible match and won the North American Championship within a month of her debut... BEFORE I came along. Not to make things about me, although the very seldom aren’t, but women’s wrestling post and pre-Mandy Rose are like night and day. I am the light of this division. I’m what every girl wants to be and what every guy wants to be with. I’m not just at the pinnacle of this division, I’m at the pinnacle of LIFE... So my next question for you is: how do you think you’d fare at the top of the women’s division? What would you want to change, and what would you do differently?

[Alexa Bliss]
Why would I want to change anything? Clearly you're doing such an incredible job as it is...if anything, I'd make it my life's mission to uphold the integrity, and honor you bestowed upon The North American Championship the very second you defeated me to become Champion. If I were to do anything different, I think perhaps...and this is in no way a dig at you, but The Champions I looked up to answered every challenge without question because they believe in defending what you have, in proving why it is yours. Like Natalya, she came from this place of failure and rose up to the most dominant Women's Champion in XWL history. I look to April and the spirit within her that brought something different to the division, that challenged the entire division to become better...including Natalya. I had the honor of challenging both for their titles in the only two title matches I've had in XWL...and seeing how hard they fought, inspires me to want to do the same. But every Champion wants something different, every Champion differs in what their role truly is. So that's not to say that someone like you for example is any less of a Champion because you don't accept those challenges. I don't know how I'd fare at the top...I mean compared to someone of your caliber? How could I ever measure up?

Even though the words leaving Alexa Bliss’s lips are less than genuine, that doesn’t make them any less pleasant to the ears of the Champion, Mandy Rose, who is perched on her seat with her polished title like a spoiled and purring kitten.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 ABnv2Oo
All very true things, but I would like to clarify that I’m hardly comparable to people like Natalya or April. I didn’t start at the bottom of the food chain because I’ve never belonged there. I didn’t have to work my way to the top of this division because I AM the top of this division. There was no success story or another overplayed tale of an underdog, there was purely the Coronation of the RIGHTFUL Champion. I know exactly what Vince McMahon knows, and what you and all of these people hate to admit, and that is that I have never been anything less than Championship material. I bring the eyes, I bring the ticket sales, and I bring the XWL Network subscriptions. Simply put, I’m what’s best for business. Now, people may say that while these are all undeniable facts, I’m still nothing more than a well-paid model. Someone who sits back, looks pretty, has her face plastered across billboards and trucks, and poses with the Championship, but I can name a few people who know for a fact that that is not the case. Asuka found out that wasn’t the case when I finished the Empress of Never-Gonna-Happen in her very own Beat the Clock Challenge. Nikki Cross found out exactly what happens when somebody tries to come between God’s Greatest Creation and her destiny time and time again, and as a matter of fact, so have you Alexa. You might be a little more pesky and a little less handsy than Nikki Cross was, but when you strip it all away you two aren’t that different at all. Nikki made a career off of riding my coattails, hiding in the shadows of my success, and harassing me at every corner. You know a little bit about that, don’t you Alexa? Considering you practically jumped me a couple of weeks ago, completely unprovoked might I add, when I was doing nothing but a favor to you and this previously dying show by making a special and celestial appearance as your guest. So let’s talk about what gave you the right, or even just the assumption that you could put your hands on the breadwinner, the poster girl, the Golden Goddess of XWL? I guess what myself and the common people really want to know is: would you take back your savage actions, or would you do it again? And if you were given the choice by a very powerful and distinguished gentleman in a suit, what kind of punishment would you think that an unprofessional, danger to society such as yourself deserves?

Mandy lowers her microphone and narrows her eyes at Alexa. The ball is in Bliss’s court, only this ball closer resembles a grenade that could blow up on the aspiring challenger’s face at any given moment if so much as a single word is received as “out of line.”

[Alexa Bliss]
Mandy, I had no right to lay my hands on you. Every passing second that I stare into your eyes, and your slanted nose blocks your glowing gaze...I'm reminded that I'm the reason your beauty has been defiled. I let my envy distort the truth, I re-wrote the narrative to manipulate people into believing the fallacies that my insecurities gave life to. I demonized you, and insulted the intelligence of not only you but The XWL Universe. I made them cheer me as I wrongfully insinuated that you slept your way into becoming Champion. I mean the reaction was practically deafening as if they themselves came to that conclusion. But that isn't true, I made up everything because I knew I didn't belong in the same ring as you, much less competing for your title. So I thought, if I stretched the truth, if I made things difficult for you...that it would somehow resolve everything and this green eyed monster on my back would finally leave me be. If I could undo it I would...you didn't deserve to be treated that way, and really this epiphany is all thanks to your gracious vacation photo slideshow after my victory over Toni Storm 2 weeks ago. For the first time I was forced to look at you, not out of envy...but...well, admiration.

Alexa is laying it on THICK. The softness in her tone as she struggled to bravely admit was reminiscent of someone struggling to admit their feelings to their crush. Or the anxiousness that comes from an employee tip-toeing the line of asking for a raise. The audience knows what's going on though, they're not booing her "praise" because they see the underlying truth mixed between Alexa's words. She is calling out the fact that XWL has done exactly that to her, they've distorted videos to make it look like Mandy actually defeated Alexa in a title match, even down to the very detail of Mandy standing over Alexa in one frame, and the next showing a close up shot of The Golden Goddess raising The North American Championship. They allowed Mandy to overtake Alexa's victory celebration via a ridiculous spread of vacation photos...and now tonight to overtake Alexa's very talk show. So Alexa is taking a different approach tonight, telling Mandy everything her narcissistic self wants to hear. Whether she believes her or not is another story, but Alexa is truly embracing her previous manipulative trait back when she was The Wicked Witch of XWL...and using it for..."good." As Alexa's head hung staring at the floor, her eyes lift up as she looks back to Mandy.

[Alexa Bliss]
Honestly, I'm at your mercy. I deserve whatever you deem an appropriate punishment. Because no matter what it is...it truly won't be enough. I brought dishonor to you, to the very title I aspire to one day hold, and to Women everywhere when I tried to tear you down...to build myself up. Honestly, I'm absolutely disgusted with myself.

If not for the subtle emphasis on one of her final words, we'd almost buy into this ourselves...but no, Alexa is continuing her Oscar worthy performance, even down to the slight tinge in the corner of her eye that looks like she could start to cry. Mandy, like most of our viewers, reads right into Alexa's fine performance and sees it for what it truly is. She doesn't seem amused in the slightest, and instead arches a single brow, tilting her head downwards a bit while keeping her mesmerizing gaze on Bliss the entire time with an expression that plainly gives off a "are you for real?" vibe.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 ABnv2Oo
You know Alexa, it's a shame that all of those beautiful words were masked behind your disingenuous tone, because I, being the gracious and forgiving Champion that I am, have decided to grant you your greatest wish. For more weeks than you're probably proud to admit at this point, you've been ranting and raving about wanting all of these things, opportunity this and just a chance that. So, have I got the surprise for you... Per the authority of Vince McMahon, I have generously made the decision to give you what you've been DYING for. At Downpour, you will be facing me for my North American Championship.

Alexa's eyes widen as she does the classic "double take." Did Mandy Rose just FINALLY agree to give her the opportunity at The North American Championship that she's literally refused to give her for over a month? The audience doesn't hold back their reaction, screaming and cheering as Alexa sits there processing the shift in emotions from disbelief to...excitement. She starts to raise her mic to respond, clearly filled with joy as the fans themselves ooze nothing but joy. But, before a single word can leave her mouth, Mandy interjects.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 ABnv2Oo
AFTER you fill in for Allie inside of the Elimination Chamber match for your best friend Kairi Sane's Women's Championship.

And just like that, the "too good to be true" moment turns out to, in fact, be too good to be true. While Mandy has granted Alexa not one, but two opportunities, it is quite the double-edged sword and puts Alexa in an incredibly vulnerable state heading into her North American Championship match with Mandy Rose following the women's Elimination Chamber. Mandy can't help but snicker to herself confidently, soaking in the look on Alexa's face. Like most situations, too much of any good thing can often turn bad, and that could no doubt be the case for Little Miss Bliss at Downpour.

[Alexa Bliss]
So what you're saying is, because of my "go getter" attitude the last month, you have had a change of heart, and now sit here admitting you were wrong. Wow, Mandy...that is just so big of you. I mean, I know how difficult that had to be. To admit that someone as holier than thou, can too be wrong. I think that's why you're such an inspiration to Woman everywhere, including me. You aren't afraid to profess here in front of the entire world that you were wrong. Not only that, but to go to such lengths to make it up to me by not just offering me ONE title shot, but TWO! And as if that wasn't generous enough...you found out it was my dream to compete in The Elimination Chamber for the first time in my career...and I get to potentially cross three things off my career bucket list in the same night! I just, I don't know what to say. You truly are a generous Goddess, aren't you?

Well, Mandy clearly expected a different reaction to Alexa finding out HOW she was going to be getting her title match for The North American Championship...but whether Alexa's keeping her act strong or speaking genuinely...she seems to not be eliciting the response she envisioned.

[Alexa Bliss]
Thank you, Mandy. I hope there's no hard feelings when I take The North American Championship from you, as I stand with both hands into the air with your title in one hand...and The Women's Championship in the other. Maybe we can do this whole Moment Of TRUE Bliss again the next night, what do you say? God's Greatest Creation interviewing the DUAL North American AND Women's Champion that she through her divine intervention on this night...created. I for one am thrilled, and judging by the look on your face right now...you feel it too, don't you? Well Mandy, it will be an honor to compete against you at Downpour...and in the spirit of our newfound respect for each other? I think there's only one TRUE way to commemorate things.

Alexa with the biggest smile across her face, rises up from her seat and stands in the middle of she and Mandy, as the guards cautiously spectate. Bliss slowly moves her arm outward, and extends her hand to The North American Champion, just as she did before this interview began. Mandy sucks on her teeth for a moment, clearly seething a little over not provoking the proper reaction from her now scheduled opponent for Downpour. The Golden Goddess stands to her feet and adjusts her title across her shoulder before taking Bliss's hand with her own and giving it a firm grip. Both women go eye-to-eye for a moment, when Mandy raises her title high with her free hand and slowly shakes Bliss's with the other, sending a clear message and rubbing it in a little deep with a confident smile.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 ABnv2Oo
Good luck next week, hope you can make it to our match afterwards. It'd be a shame if something happened to "Little Miss Bliss" in her very first Chamber match.

The tone in Mandy Rose's voice that was picked up on the camera's audio was one that heavily implied that Alexa should watch her back heading into the Elimination Chamber. Who knows who could be on Mandy, and in turn Vince's payroll that could have a vested interest in ensuring Bliss doesn't walk out of that Elimination Chamber match? Mandy and Alexa finally release their grasp on one another as Mandy, still holding her title in the air like the show pony she's known to be, struts off of the stage and is followed by her entourage of security guards while the camera fades out and we head into our next segment.

The screen opens up to a shot of a locker room that is being occupied by the reigning and defending XWL Tag Team Champions of the World in Chad Gable and Chris Sabin, collectively known as The Trash City Stupid Idiots, or TCSI for short. Within the confines of the room sits our record breaking Champions, noticeably bandaged up and each being in possession of a black eye. The bandages wrapped around each Champion is virtually mirrored on the other, finding its way around their waist and pulling around Sabin's left shoulder and Gable's right, while the opposite shoulder is hastily taped up in virtually perfect symmetry. As they sit adjacent to one another, their respective Championships sit between them, each housing a myriad of band-aid's scattered around the main plate and it's own version of bandages wrapping around the side plates. These are apparent hard times for our Tag Team Champions but what exactly caused this scene to begin with?

Chris Sabin
I told you we should have bobbed and weaved and instead we weaved and bobbed and now look at us.

[Chad Gable]
What are you talking about, Chris?

Chris Sabin
The match, Chad! You know, the one we lost last week that added Seme and his edgy little brother into our match against The Golden Lovers.

[Chad Gable]
Oh, that one. The thing is, Chris, we never lost that match.

Chris Sabin
What do you mean, I got pinned in the middle of that ring after Seme tried to pull what he did at Warzone, except we were ready for it but I wasn't ready to run with blades, I don't have that skill unlocked yet.

[Chad Gable]
First off, I'm pretty sure he calls that the Blade Runner. Second, I looked it up and I'm pretty sure his name is Zami Sane. Third, it never aired so as far as everybody's concerned, we never lost that match.

Chris Sabin
It never aired?

[Chad Gable]
Nope.

Chris Sabin
So we're still undefeated?

[Chad Gable]
As Tag Team Champions, yes.

Chris Sabin
What about before? We ran through the Motor City Cup.

[Chad Gable]
Then we lost the finals because of Zami.

Chris Sabin
Did we? I don't remember getting pinned.

[Chad Gable]
That's because you were attacked outside the ring and I was the one that got pinned.

Chris Sabin
I see. So... why didn't you kick out?

[Chad Gable]
What?

Chris Sabin
You said you were pinned, right?

[Chad Gable]
I did.

Chris Sabin
So why didn't you kick out?

[Chad Gable]
That's a good question.

There's an awkward pause that passes between them before Chris breaks it, turning to Chad once more.

Chris Sabin
So, if they technically didn't beat us, or it didn't air, are they in the match?

[Chad Gable]
That, is also a very good question. My question is, where did the match go? I mean we were there, the crowd was there, Beta Club 2.0 were there. So, where's the tape?

Chris Sabin
Aren't we always live, pal?

[Chad Gable]
Calm down Mean Gene Chris Sabin. But we are, which makes this even weirder.

Chris Sabin
Well, where do lost things go?

The two take a moment to think and then turn to each other at the same time.

“Lost and Found!”

[Chad Gable]
Do you know where the nearest one is?

Chris Sabin
Yeah, I saw it earlier on the way here.

[Chad Gable]
Perfect, lead the way.

Chad begins to wipe off the makeup and take off his bandages, over this theatrical stunt they're pulling.

Chris Sabin
You're exposing the business!

[Chad Gable]
One, someone did that way before me. Two, we just said we didn't lose, so, technically, we're not hurt.

Chris Sabin
You make a good point Chadsworth.

With that, Sabin follows suit and begins removing his own makeup and bandages, showing that the pair weren't in fact hurt, well not physically at least, mentally and emotionally could be an entirely different story. The Tag Team Champions rise from their seats and take a hold of their respective Championship, making their way to the door shortly after. Just when it seemed they would escape the threshold of the door frame, both men run into it, Gable with his right shoulder and Sabin with his left, stopping the Champions in their tracks. Finding themselves in this predicament once again, instead of opting to do what any normal people would, the competitiveness within each of them rears its head, causing them to each lift a hand into the air in front of them in the shape of a fist. They exchange a glance with one another before they begin to raise and lower their hands repeatedly, Sabin's hand shifting from a fist to an open palm while Gable keeps the majority of his fist in tact, extending his index and middle fingers forward. A defeated Sabin nods his head and takes a step back, allowing Gable to be the first to step through the door and reach the corridor outside their locker room. Sabin steps out right after before the duo begin making their way down the corridor, unsure of what their future holds.

Five Minutes Later

Now in a different part of the same building, Gable and Sabin find themselves rapidly reaching their destination, turning one final corner before a rather large “Lost and Found” sign sits above a kiosk. Sabin spots a suspicious bell sitting on the counter, his impulse taking control of his body as his hand quickly darts towards it, tapping it repeatedly with a smile on his face.

Chris Sabin
Shady Shin, are you here?

[Chad Gable]
Who?

Chris Sabin
He's an old friend, you'll like him.

While Sabin is conversing with his best friend and fellow Tag Team Champion, he feels another hand wrap around his wrist, stopping the incessant sound of a bell rapidly ringing through the air as a familiar voice is heard.

???
Motherfu-

[Chad Gable]
Eric! It's been a while!

[Eric Young]
Not you two again.

Chris Sabin
Where's Shady Shin?

[Eric Young]
He's... taking a break right now.

An unconvinced Chris Sabin manages to get his hand out from Eric's grasp, bringing it into his other hand, rubbing his wrist softly while Gable picks up where he left off.

[Chad Gable]
We're looking for something, Eric.

[Eric Young]
Aren't you always.

[Chad Gable]
We're looking for a tape.

[Eric Young]
There's a store around the corner, why don't you check there?

[Chad Gable]
Not that kind of tape. We're looking for a match.

[Eric Young]
Since when do you smoke?

[Chad Gable]
Not that kind of-

Chris Sabin
We need to check what you have stored here.

[Eric Young]
Fine. Knock yourselves out, please.

With that, Eric unlocks the nearby door, allowing Gable and Sabin to enter without restrictions, revealing towers upon towers of cardboard boxes stacked up on one another. They quickly begin their search, opting to stay within range of one another as neither wants to get lost in this glorious dream, or wasteland, depending on which side of the coin you're on. Sabin is the first to strike gold, or so it seems since he's the first of the two to speak up. He pulls out an action figure from one of the boxes, causing Gable to cease his search and shift his attention towards his partner.

Chris Sabin
Check this out! A Matt Sydal action figure complete with a replica Intercontinental Championship!

[Chad Gable]
Chris, we don't have time for that, we're on a mission.

Chris Sabin
Fine...

Sabin removes the replica Championship from around the figure's waist and tosses both back into the box.

Chris Sabin
You won't be needing that anymore.

The duo continue to search through the myriad of boxes upon boxes before them, the sound of unknown objects being fumbled about fill the confined air before a confused Gable stands above a box, looking down at it at the sight that lies in front of him. This catches Sabin's attention, who scurries over towards the scene of the crime, looking down into the box below.

Chris Sabin
Are those Jolly Ranchers?

[Chad Gable]
Where are the blue ones? Did someone just buy a pack, take the blue ones and throw out the rest? Who even does that?

Chris Sabin
A monster.

Gable continues his search as Sabin returns to his previous position to do the same. A quick cut later shows Sabin giddy with excitement as Gable calls out to him.

[Chad Gable]
What did you find? Is it the tape?

Chris Sabin
Close your eyes.

[Chad Gable]
What, why?

Chris Sabin
Trust me.

[Chad Gable]
Fine.

Playing along, Gable brings up his hands to block off his vision. The sound of Sabin and his antics is audible for a few moments before silence fills the room.

Chris Sabin
Okay, you can open them now.

He lowers his hand, granting himself vision once more, spotting Sabin with his back turned to him while he has his arms extended outward and is wearing a jacket that seems like it should be lit up but isn't. Sabin spins around and jerks his elbow towards himself, a smile etched on his face.

Chris Sabin
Pretend there was pyro behind me.

[Chad Gable]
Is that Chris Jericho's jacket?

Chris Sabin
Yeah. Why is it here?

[Chad Gable]
Don't we hate him?

Chris Sabin
Absolutely! But we don't hate his jacket.

[Chad Gable]
That's fair.

Chris Sabin
How do you turn this thing on? Is there a button somewhere?

[Chad Gable]
Chris, it's a jacket, there's a lot of buttons.

Chris Sabin
You make a very good point.

[Chad Gable]
Maybe you have to charge it.

Chris Sabin
Another good point, I'll go find an outlet.

[Chad Gable]
Chris, the tape!

Chris Sabin
Oh, right!

Sabin continues looking through the same box, wanting to be thorough with his search, and is stopped in his tracks when he spots something else within the box. He reaches his hand within it and pulls out what at first looks like a toy but when it exits the confines of the box that held it captive, it's revealed to be a Championship of some sort, the gaudy silver colored main plate giving it away. Sabin turns around once more to show his recent findings.

Chris Sabin
Chad, check this out.

[Chad Gable]
What's that?

Chris Sabin
It's the X-treme Championship.

[Chad Gable]
Never heard of it.

Chris Sabin
It's the first, and until we became the best tag team in the world, it was the only Championship I've held in this company.

Sabin looks at it, reminiscing of his brief tenure as Champion, throwing it over his shoulder as he goes back to his search, causing Gable to do the same. That is until the sound of a closed box near Gable comes to life with muffled sounds from within it.

[Chad Gable]
The hell?

This catches Sabin's attention and causes him to spot the box in question.

Chris Sabin
Is it haunted?

[Chad Gable]
What? No, there's something trapped in the box. I'll go check it out.

Chris Sabin
I'll make sure to tell your story.

Gable approaches the box, trying to decide the best course of action to take before choosing the most direction option: Simply opening it. He begins to undo the lightly applied tape keeping the boxed closed across the top and opens it. A pleasantly surprised Chad Gable looks down at what was trapped within.

[Chad Gable]
Clucksworth? Is this where you've been the entire time?

Upon hearing this, Sabin charges forward to see for himself.

Chris Sabin
Clucksworth! So this is where you ran off to. And look, Chad, he even found The Undisputed Era's relevancy!

[Chad Gable]
I think we're done here, we didn't find what we were looking for.

Chris Sabin
Speak for yourself.

[Chad Gable]
Let's go back to the locker room and come up with a plan b.

Sabin nods as he picks up Clucksworth and places him under his left arm while wearing the jacket and the X-Treme Championship on his right shoulder. Just as the Tag Team Champions begin making their way out of the room, a majority of the lights go off in unison, leaving a single light standing and pointing at a single box in the room. Taking this as a sign, Gable and Sabin begin to slowly approach the box, unsure of what the chances were of that happening and opting to just going along with it. What could possibly go wrong, right? When the reach the mystery box, they both look inside it, revealing to be nothing more than a single phone sitting in the center of the box.

[Chad Gable]
Is that...

Chris Sabin
It has to be.

Gable reaches out and wraps his hand around it, removing it from the box and placing it into his pocket  before the duo continue their initial plan of leaving the room and heading back to their safe haven. We find ourselves in a time skip and a change of scenery when we're back in TCSI's locker room both men sitting in their respective chairs just like they were at the start, the only difference being Clucksworth sitting between the Tag Team Championships.

Chris Sabin
Well?

[Chad Gable]
Well what?

Chris Sabin
You know what.

[Chad Gable]
Damnit. Give me a minute.

Gable rummages through his pockets for many, many moments until he finally searches the artifact he's looking for, pulling it out from its confines.

[Chad Gable]
Here it is.

Chad sits the phone on the table. A normal looking phone, of course. But if you aren't up to date and/or hate Christmas, then you wouldn't know where it came from. Please go and read that. It's good. The two look at it, hesitant to even get within close proximity of it due to what it did to them the previous time. They don't seem like they want to touch it.

[Chad Gable]
Like, I realize it has to be done. But, is this the path we really want to take?

Chris Sabin
What else do we do, Chad?

[Chad Gable]
Watch Endgame once or twice again. It worked last time.

Chris Sabin
This isn't last time. We don't have a-

The two begin to bicker and while doing so, they don't notice Clucksworth, the Chicken strolling into screen behind them. It's been a long time since we've seen him but these two act as though nothing is different. This is everyday. They begin to argue and as they do, Clucksworth decides he wants to make a collect call.

"DON'T!"

The two yell out to the Chicken who is already pecking at the phone. In a moment, the three are gone, the phone having taken them once more to the "other plane" of existence. All that is left is the phone on the table which shakes for a minute before lighting up with a background that is purple and green neon colors. The symbol of Jeff Hardy highlighted in the background. This is about to be, well, wonderful.

A few moments pass and a bright white light over takes the screen. Then, a hallways. On either side are portraits of different alternate universes, which we've seen before from the last time these two came here. Chad and Chris walks forward, looking into each of these. They're searching for last week's tape of course, but neither really know their way around here.

[Chad Gable]
Can you believe he's still gone for five minutes?

Chris Sabin
They always said we were lucky.

[Chad Gable]
Maybe he went to watch End Ga-

Chris Sabin
Check this one out!

The two walk over to a painting which begins to move. The camera looks inside of it, finding two women holding tag team titles above their head. One resembling Chad and the other resembling Chris. The two men look at each other, then back to the women.

[Chad Gable]
Okay, that's weird.

Chris Sabin
Hey, I'm pretty hot as a girl.

[Chad Gable]
Remember that time you were a girl for my pare-

Chris Sabin
Let's not talk about that, okay?

The two begin to walk a bit longer as they come down the hallway. They find another painting, this one being of them but younger. More full of life. Oh, Final Stand. Where they faced off in a three stages of hell match. What a night that was.

Chris Sabin
Look at us.

[Chad Gable]
Yeah. Sorry I beat you, by the way.

Chris Sabin
You did no-

A BAWK! is heard from down the hall as the two turn, taking off to investigate. What they come across is Clucksworth, sat in front of a painting, scratching at the ground. They look to the painting and what they find is Cut Throat Era, standing above themselves with smiles on their faces. Gable reaches down to Clucksworth, petting him.

[Chad Gable]
Great job buddy. You go and stand guard okay.

Clucksworth doesn't move. He's a chicken. He just strolls in a circle honestly.

Chris Sabin
So, this is it. Are you ready?

[Chad Gable]
I mean, am I ever? We apparently got beat up pretty bad.

Chris Sabin
We're just going for the tape. Not for the fight. Be on your guard. Our past selves can't see us.

[Chad Gable]
Of course. Back to the Future taught me well.

Chris Sabin
This does remind me of End-

[Chad Gable]
Spoilers, Chris. So, let's do it. One.

Chris Sabin
Two.

"THREE!"

The two jump into the painting which gives way for them. A few moments pass before the duo are thrown right back out, landing on the ground hard. They begin to groan in pain before turning to each other. Chad has a VHS in hand as Chris smiles at him.

Chris Sabin
Got it?

Chad holds up the tape.

[Chad Gable]
Got it!

Sabin frowns.

Chris Sabin
Wait, Chad. Who has a VHS anymore?

Chad looks to the tape as the two let out a very large sigh. The scene changes to show them at the desk of the Lost and Found where they have since set up a TV and a VHS player, both of which having more than likely been found there. Eric stands off to the side, arms crossed as he looks at the tape himself. A moment or two passes after the tape is inserted.

The two look at each other in confusion before Eric lets out a huge laugh.

[Chad Gable]
I, guess I grabbed the wrong tape?

Chris Sabin
Yeah, so that would seem.

[Chad Gable]
Do you think they'll just believe us when we say CTE should be added to the match?

Chris Sabin
God I hope so. Let's go home, Chad.

[Chad Gable]
I'm sorry.

Chris Sabin
It's okay buddy. We live and we learn.

With that, CTE was added to the match at the two strolled off into the sunset.

We see Kenny Omega watching the screen, his eye twitching as he does. He looks into the camera, back at the tv screen, back into the camera, and back into the tv screen before sighing

[Kenny Omega]
I...I don't know what the hell that was but...I'm gonna ignore it. Much like I'm pretty much gonna ignore CTE being in the chamber because it doesn't matter. All of the jokes and humor from TCSI's don't matter. The only thing that matters in this match is redemption. Redemption that CTE took away! Redemption for Final Stand. Kota and I were so close we could feel it. We could feel the gold in our hands and well

Kenny finally turns and faces the camera

[Kenny Omega]
We want that feeling again. Getting it won't be easy. I've been in the chamber before. It is designed to break bones and tear flesh. It's sadistic, its unforgiving, and the champions can embrace that chaos like no one else. Sane and Jay, can embrace that. But we showed CTE just how out of their league they were when we put them down at International Incident. We showed that we could be brutal and cutthroat when push comes to shove. And at Downpour push will come to shove and The Golden Lovers will do what everyone knows we're capable of. And that's claim those tag titles for themselves. I'm a desperate man

Kenny seems to get a far away look in his eyes. No doubt thinking of all the times he's come up short in his career. Finger tips away from success

[Kenny Omega]
I've grasped so many chances and let them slip through my fingers that I don't want that to ever happen again. I won't let it happen! I need to prove to not just myself, but everyone else that I have what it takes to thrive and not just be another man who had all the potential but went absolutely nowhere with it. Downpour is mine and Kota's moment. And when we stand tall among the bodies...We'll be able to say GOODBYE!...

Kenny takes a dramatic bow before the camera

[Kenny Omega]
....And goodnight!

As XWL Anarchy returns from a commercial break, Nikki Bella is stood by backstage with an interviewer

Interviewer
Backstage here with Nikki Bella on Anarchy. Nikki, there must be a lot of thoughts going on in your head right now, but firstly another victory for you last week against a very on her game Liv Morgan an your first match back last week against Ember Moon, you're starting to get a bit of momentum now. How do you think it's been going since your return?

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 7KlMCZQ

Nikki Bella
You know, two weeks ago felt great, Ember's a really tough competitor, but at the end of the day wherever you hit hard or not is irrelevant, what Ember lacks is the experience I have, and that's all I needed to beat her last week, and I'm sure everyone will say that maybe I got lucky, but there's a difference between luck and being smart enough to know how to take advantage of an opportunity when it counts, and that's exactly what I did.

Interviewer
Some people certainly might say you got lucky, after all Ember Moon seemed to dominate the entire match, and you did just capitalise on one mistake...

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 JAYJL0S

Nikki Bella
I'll stop you right there, you're right, that's exactly what happened, but Ember being on top for ninety nine percent of the match is all well and good, but I was still the one who left with the victory. Sure I wasn't at my best, but what did they expect from me? It was my first match in god knows how long, and I still won, so how about a little credit for that? Or is that reserved for those who lose in style in? Because last time I checked you don't deserve to be praised for failing.

Interviewer
Maybe that is the case, but nonetheless you did pick up the victory and again last week, you picked up another big win, this time against Liv Morgan.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 0BpWcFt

Nikki Bella
The thing about Liv Morgan last week is, it was a different story, I felt a lot better than I did against Ember and I showed. Liv tried, but trying just wasn't enough for her last week. She stepped into the ring with a veteran who has seen it all and done it all, and I had her every move covered. Maybe in the future, one day, she'll be able to step in the ring with someone like me and have a chance, but right now if I proved anything it's that this current class of women aren't fit to carry my bags. If this is the standard is competition I came back for, then it's going to be a whole lot easier to climb to the top of this division than I thought it wou-

Nikki Bella is stopped as she's suddenly attacked from behind with a clubbing blow to the back of her head. It's Sasha Banks! The best friend of Liv Morgan (or maybe former best friend - who knows at this point) coming to stand up for her. The Boss grabs Nikki Bella by her hair and forces her up before throwing her into one of the production containers. A referee approaches and tries to get between Sasha and Nikki but Sasha ignores what he has to say. She gets closer... but she doesn't attack Nikki. She crouches down next to her Sasha delivers a quick and to the point message to one half of the Bella Twins before she has a chance to bring the fight back to her.

[SASHA BANKS]
Keep her name out of your mouth or else it'll just get worse from here, got it?

The Boss stands back up, turns around, and walks away from the scene. The referee approaches Nikki and checks on her to make sure she's alright. Nikki assures him that she's fine but you could tell by the look on her face that she was not so pleased at what just happened. Anarchy then continues as Nikki Bella sits around the container holding the back of her head.

XWL Anarchy returns from commercial break and we are joined by the Phenomenal One who stands in the ring with a microphone already held in his hand. His eyes are focused on the stage.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 MnQRdDE

He stares at the stage. A couple of seconds pass but there's still nothing. What is he waiting for? Who is he waiting for? Because nothing is happening. Styles shakes his head and turns his body and head towards the crowd. He lifts his microphone and he begins to speak.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 Bq0FHH8

[AJ STYLES]
Man, oh man, am I tired of playing Hide 'n' Seek with a fifty something year old man. That's what this has been. A game of Hide 'n' Seek between myself and the Undertaker. That's what I was doing last week. I was searching the arena from head-to-toe to find this so-called Deadman and I couldn't find him. I asked everyone I could if they had seen him but no one has and my question is why can no one seem to find the Deadman? Is it because AJ Styles is coming for you and that worries you? I'd be scared too because Undertaker, for as many years as you've been in this business and as many men as you've faced, none of them have been quite like me. And I know what you're thinking: you beat me the last time we shared a ring, technically, but that was my own fault. I hit Daniel Bryan with a Phenomenal Forearm but that's why I'm out here. I don't want Daniel Bryan involved.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 F1KVKLp

[AJ STYLES]
I've been itching for a FIGHT for weeks now and I'm tired of searching. I'm tired of looking for the answers. I want the answers to come to me. I want AJ Styles versus Undertaker. I want the Phenomenal versus the Phenomena. And I want it at Downpour. I'll take you on in any kind of match you want. I don't care. I'll adapt to whatever you throw at me so long as it's me and you, one on one, at Downpour. That's all I'm asking. Come on out here and accept my challenge. Gimme a sign. Gimme something. I'm done playing games with you, Taker.

Suddenly the lights in the arena go out. Fans and commentary murmuring wondering what it is that’s going on, while styles however knows all too well. A light begins to shine, beaming from the titantron. It’s a blue lit light, somewhere in a dark hallway, almost looking like a dungeon. It’s hard to make much of anything out, however eventually you can see something beginning to move towards the screen. It inches closer and closer, staying hidden by both shadows and the blue fog surrounding them.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 438f3410

Until finally it becomes clear. The “thing”..... or man.....or Phenom that is, is none other that the deadman, The Undertaker. He stands there almost towering over Styles, even though he isn’t physically there. He looks down to the man who had a few choice words to say with a scowl.

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 6dcf3210

The Undertaker
AJ Styles. A man from humble beginnings. A man whose life has been built upon a foundation of dedication and hard work. A man whom up to this point in his life, has given me no reason to think him a fool. That is until only a few weeks ago. You meddled in business of mine you had no right to interfere with. You brought upon your own destruction last week with your own actions. And yet you not only prove me right yet again, but more importantly you again prove yourself the fool you are. You stand out there and claim that this is some sort of game? That I am afraid to face you? Well boy, The Phenom doesn’t play games, and he sure as hell isnt afraid of you. You want a chance to prove you belong here? You want a fight with The Deadman. You want A chance to prove me wrong? You want it all this Sunday at Downpour? Well Styles.....I ACCEPT. Come this Sunday you shall either make your claim as THE Phenomenal one, or you shall REST...IN...PEACE!

And with that the screen again fades to black as the lights return showing AJ Styles nodding his head ready for his match this Sunday with The Deadman.

The camera cuts backstage when a reporter is standing there waiting for her cue to speak.

Reporter:
Some shocking news just came to us after some shocking events that have taken place earlier this evening. We have security camera recordings of the shocking events that happened. Here it is now.

EARLIER THAT EVENING.

The recording takes place outside of the performance center. A group of three people are seen leaving, and that group is the Undisputed Era.

Roderick Strong:
That was a great workout today guys. Let’s keep it up tomorrow and soon we’re going to be destined for greatness.

Buddy Murphy:
My intercontinental title isn’t going anywhere and if we keep doing what we’re doing in that gym, then I expect to see titles around both of your waists in no time.

Adam Cole:
We already are the best athletes ever and we keep getting better and better.

Adam begins to rummage through his pockets, seemingly searching for something important.

Adam Cole:
Hey guys, I think I left my phone in there. You guys go ahead without me.

The other members nod their heads and continue walking towards their vehicles as Adam goes back inside.

A few moments later Adam is seen returning outside and from out of nowhere…

BAM!

A masked assailant jumps from behind camera view and begins viciously attacking Adam Cole. He begins ramming him into cars and stomping him out. After a few minutes of throwing him around, the masked man finds an open car door and drags the beater down Cole over to it. He places his leg in the open door and slams the door shut on Coles leg. Screams of agony echoes throughout the parking area as the other two members appear from around the corner. As they begin to run towards Cole, the masked individual bolts the other direction as Roderick begins the chase and Buddy calls the paramedics. The masked man gets away as Roderick comes back to comfort his friend and the camera cuts back to the reporter.

Reporter:
This was a hanous attack and we are investigating deeply into the matter. We wish Cole a speedy recovery. We’ll be right back after these messages.

The camera cuts to commercial.

As XWL Anarchy continues Nikki Bella is backstage being attended too by the Medical team following the attack from Sasha Banks earlier in the night

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 GHVqq7h

Interviewer

Nikki, just recently you were attacked backstage by Sasha Banks, how are you feeling?

Nikki Bella
How am I feeling? How does it look like I'm feeling? I don't know who Sasha thinks she is, but of she actually thinks I’ll just accept this, then she better think again. I’m not going to be intimidated by some undersized fan girl, who runs around telling everyone she's the boss. THE BOSS? What does that even mean? Is it supposed to impress me? She walks around like she owns the place, but she still felt like she needed to take a cheap shot at me to protect her little friend, Liv Morgan? Well it doesn’t change anything, I still beat her last week, and I’ll beat her again the next time I face her. And guess what? The next time, Sasha won’t be getting in any cheap shots, because I'll be waiting for her.
As she finishes answering the question Nikki is visibly in pain, however the Interviewer continues to ask more

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 EZbGwFa

Interviewer
And what about the relationship between Liv Morgan and Sasha Banks, does that not concern you at all?

As Nikki is seen too by the XWL Medical staff, clearly in pain she starts to answer the off screen interviewers questions

Nikki Bella
I don’t know what their deal is, but really? Like it matters. They’re not the only ones with someone who has their back. Lay cool, The Beautiful People, this isn’t anything I haven’t seen before, and well... I’m pretty sure I know someone who will have my back whenever I need it, so if Sasha and Liv have the guts to step into the ring against me at Downpour, I'm sure I could find a partner that would even the playing field.

Nikki, clearly not too interested in being interviewed at this moment in time, having more serious things being tended too, tries to go back to being treated for an potential injury

XWL Anarchy: 5/20/2019 - 5/27/2019 QUHn9jo

Interviewer
And that partner would be who exactly?

As the Interviewer asks the Nikki question, she looks at him wondering just how stupid or oblivious he must be

Nikki Bella
Let’s just say next week they better be ready for some twin...

We hear a door open and close in the background, with audible laughing coming from out of view.
{Peyton Royce}
Well well well Billie, what do we have here?

{Billie Kay}
Aww Peyton it looks like we have a poor wittle injured Nikki Bella. Now, wasn't it just a few weeks ago when Peyton tried to warn you that you aren't capable of hanging with the new era of women here in XWL?

{Peyton Royce}
You know what, you're right Billie, I DID warn Nikki that this would happen. But it is kind of upsetting. I don't like seeing such a trail blazer like Nikki Bella get injured. Should we do something about that, Billie?

{Billie Kay}
Ohhhhh Peyton, we SHOULD do something about it.

{Peyton Royce}
Oh then Billie that is what we'll do. What you need Nikki, is a tag partner for this weekend. And since Billie is still injured, it looks like it will have to be me helping you out. But stay out of my way Sunday, and I'll show you how it is really done. Because my debut match is going to be...

Billie Kay and Peyton at the same time

IICONIC!!

The IICONICS walk out of the doctor's room leaving a baffled Nikki Bella behind
