The XWL universe here tonight in Des Moise, Iowa can be heard chanting "XWL! XWL! XWL!" throughout the arena.  Cameras cut to a close up of the commentary team tonight.

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to XWL Anarchy, Live from the Wells Fargo Arena here in Des Moise, Iowa. I’m joined alongside Renee Young and Corey Graves here tonight, and a jam packed show we have for the XWL Universe tonight.

Graves
That's right Mauro! The Elimination Chamber is upon us!  And last week we found out the six competitors who will face off in that most dangerous of matches in the XWL Universe.

Young
Indeed,  It is by far one of the most grueling, brutal matches in our sport.  In other words, it's a match that separates the men from the boys.  But only one survives the Chambers gauntlet with the XWL World Heavyweight Championship wrapped around their waist.  And by doing so, solidifying them as the best in the world.

But before we get to Downpour.  There is still business to be dealt with all around XWL.  Last week we saw the debut of "The Ring General" WALTER.  Absolutely destroying No Way Jose last week.  This week he looks to continue his path of destruction.

I'm sure it will be no surprise when he destroys his opponent here tonight.

Young
Let's not forget the other assault that took place last week that happened during A Moment of Bliss.

Graves
That's right Renee. Due to the traumatic assault at the hands of Alexa Bliss during A Moment Of Bliss, where she viciously attacked Mandy Rose's character, and made unjust assumptions about the North American Champion's relationship with Mr. McMahon. Mandy Rose has been given a week's sabbatical to remedy the damage sustained by that unprofessional brat.

Tonight we also have an Open Challenge from Intercontinental Champion Buddy Murphy.  That should be interesting.

Yes Mauro, and let's not forget the about the World Television Championship Number One Contenders match we have tonight.  A Triple threat between Roman Reigns, John Cena, and Kyle O'Reilly.

That's not the only triple threat on the show tonight.  Let's talk about this main event tonight.

A non-title bout between the champion Drew Mcintyre, Finn Balor, and Brian Pillman Jr.

I thought for sure both men were going to win there qualifying matches last week.  This week we see who will bounce back or will the champ wipe the floor with them.

Somebodys music hits cameras switch to the stage.



Ranallo
Speaking of the man in the main event.  It's Brian Pillman Jr!

Brian Pillman Jr comes out with a mic in hand and dressing in a pair of dark jeans, a black Misfits band t-shirt, silver shoes, and lastly the silver Hollywood Blondes vest in tribute to his father.  He makes his way to the ring as Brian Pillman Jr slaps the hands of the fans all the way down the ramp as he make his way all the way around the ring slapping all the many fans who are excited to be here and see Brian Pillman Jr.  He then walks up the steps and enters the ring as he looks at the XWL Universe exuberantly. As the XWL Universe cheers him on.

Pillman Jr.
A few short weeks ago, Eli Drake, A man I called friend.  Something you don't hear in this industry too often.  Turned his back on me.  It was a betrayal, but it taught me a valuable lesson.  That I should've learned sooner.  Namely that this business is one of shark infested waters.  But sometimes when the shark bites you. . . It makes the mistake of not finishing it's meal.  And THAT was Eli Drake's mistake.  Because when the shark leaves it's prey alive.  That prey may just develop a fire in it's eyes.  A spark of a newly founded aggression.  And that's when the hunted becomes the hunter.  As I kicked Eli Drake's ass from ringpost to ringpost at International Incident.

Brian Pillman Jr points to the ringposts.

And on that night the hunter took a spear and slayed the shark.  And where is the shark now?  Where is Eli Drake?  Eli Drake is at home nursing his wounds.  But Eli Drake if you are watching this right now.

Brian Pillman Jr gets on a knee and puts his hand on his heart and looks down at the mat for a moment of silence.  Then he flips his head up.  The fire is in his eyes as he points to the camera.

Thank You. . .

He stands up as he looks around at the XWL Universe who are cheering.

Pillman Jr
Because I am a new man.  Flyin Brian Pillman Jr has been reborn.  New, improved, and more aggressive than ever.  But recently I had a minor setback.  You see,  I failed to qualify for the World Heavyweight title match in the Elimination Chamber at Downpour.  Now they say the man who survives the Chamber is the best in the world.  But I know.  And the XWL Universe knows who the best in the world really is.

The XWL Universe starts chanting "Pillman Jr!"

Pillman Jr
And the XWL Universe is going to see a sampling of the best in the world tonight when I pin reigning World Heavyweight Champion,  Drew McIntyre, in the middle of this very ring.

Brian Pillman Jr pauses for a moment and looks at the cheering audience once again.  

Pillman Jr
How does that cliche go?  Actions speak louder than words.  Well Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor, I promise you are going to see some action tonight.

Pillman Jr drops the mic, exits the ring, and starts making his way back up the ramp.

Young
Have any of us seen Flyin Brian Jr like that before?

Ranallo
You know I think your right Renee.  I think we are seeing the evolution of Brian Pillman Jr in real time.

Graves
This kid just lost the biggest opportunity of his career thus far.  And the fans are still cheering for him?  I just don't get it.

Young
Well lets see if he can deliver his promise tonight in the main event!

Brian Pillman Jr exits to the backstage area as XWL Anarchy has just begun!

Before Ricochet and Wyatt can begin, we go to a camera showing a room with 5 candles and 5 pictures. The pictures showing Aiden English. Velveteen Dream. Daniel Bryan. Tyler Breeze. And none other than the XWL World Heavyweight Champion himself, Drew McIntyre.

The camera pans back a bit and reveals Aleister Black standing just to the side of the candles and their corresponding pictures. A man who seems deep in contemplation, eyes closed. Suddenly then open and stare deep into the camera as Aleister begins to speak.

Aleister Black
We all walk our own paths in life. Well, most of us do. Some of us see all, what is to come and what has happened. What is and what was. But alas, the future and the past are soon to collide in a deadly, dangerous structure. Not for myself of course. The prophet sees what others refuse to. The prophet sees his path.

Aleister makes his way to the first picture, that of the former WHC champion Aiden English.

Aleister Black
The singer. The jester. The man who wormed and worked his way into a position of prominence before turning on his mentor. The man who took opportunity and fate by his own hand, cashing in and winning. The man who flew to close to the sun and lost everything.

Aleister moves along to the picture of Velveteen Dream and smirks.

Aleister Black
Ah yes. The defeater of legends. The man who has faced and put down the likes of HBK and Chris Jericho. A man who has shown that there is nothing like his "experience." But the man spends too much time in the past, and will be unable to see the coming of the prophet.

Aleister turns slightly to the next picture and cannot help but smirk as he sees he has arrived at Daniel Bryan. He picks up the picture, laughing as he sets it back down.


Aleister Black
Oh, dear sweet Daniel Bryan. There isn't much to say about you. You already understand the power of the darkness. You learned at International Incident, and your future is dark. Black, in fact.

Aleister seems frustrated with the next picture, but moves on yet again.

Aleister Black
Tyler Breeze. A man who focuses more on his looks that his ability in the ring. A man with all the potential in the world, but without focus will never be able to climb that mountain. A man who will fail in the chamber. It has been foretold.

Finally, Aleister comes to the champion. The deadly and dangerous Drew McIntyre.

Aleister Black
Ah. The man out of this ensemble that has earned the dark prophet's respect. You see, in the darkness there is a force. A force of pain and destruction. That takes what it wants and leaves only destruction in its path. It is a road I have seen this one, the one from Scotland travel. But alas, all king's time must end. And sadly for you Drew, your reign as king of the XWL will be short.

Aleister stands in front of all the pictures and candles, staring deeply into the camera as if speaking to the audience themselves.


Aleister Black
Sheep. All of you. CLamoring to those who are flashy, or violent, or loud. You look for superficial gratification from people you will never know. You yearn for acceptance from a group that mocks your very existence. At Downpour, inside the chamber, my next prophecy will be fulfilled. Darkness will reign in the XWL. And everyone will fade....to....black.

As Aleister utters the final syllable, all of the candles go out, leaving the camera in darkness as it returns to the arena for the first match of the evening.

When we return to the ring after Aleister Black’s cryptic message to the other men in the Downpour Elimination Chamber match, Ricochet’s theme is still playing, as the man paces back and forth in-ring, awaiting the arrival of his opponent tonight, Bray Wyatt.



[Renee Young]
Wait, this isn’t Bray Wyatt!

[Mauro Ranallo]
It certainly isn’t Renee, it’s something that might just be worse.

[Corey Graves]
“Worse”? You’re telling me you think the greatest power couple in XWL is somehow worse than that creep Wyatt shutting the lights off for the fiftieth time?

[Mauro Ranallo]
I hope no one in this arena is allergic to cheese.



There wasn't a mistake, a sound guy isn’t getting fired. Rather than Ricochet’s scheduled opponent for tonight, Bray Wyatt, out from the curtain comes Mike & Maria Kanellis, two people we haven’t seen since the Shawn Michaels Classic back in 2017. It was around this time that Mike Kanellis left XWL rather quickly, amidst mysterious circumstances, but it seems the two have returned once again. The camera pans to show the heart designs lining the entrance ramp, also showing the two of them with their hands raised together, broadcasting their love to the world. Eventually they lower their hands, however they’re still held together firmly. Maria, using the microphone set up with her outfit, begins to speak.



[Maria Kanellis]
My name… is Maria Kanellis. And I’ve been many things throughout my time here in XWL. I’ve been a wrestler. I’ve been general manager. But in all my time, there’s nothing I’ve been more proud to be than the wife of the man standing right next to me. For you see, despite all my accomplishments, all my success, I never felt complete. Never felt worth it. I struggled to find a purpose. Only for a purpose to find me.



Maria looks to her husband Mike, and the two stare longingly into each other’s eyes for some time, smiling. Lovingly at each other. Just as cheesy as ever I guess. Eventually, Mike turns his attention to the XWL Universe.



[Mike Kanellis]
My name… is Mike Kanellis. And some of you may remember me, but most of you probably don’t. Two years ago me and my lovely, beautiful, incredible wife Maria here came to XWL, spreading the message of the power of love. And using the power of love, I managed to find myself competing for the Intercontinental Championship in the Shawn Michaels Classic. It seemed that everything was going our way. But then things took a turn.

[Mike Kanellis]
You see, man is a creature of vice. And before I knew it I found myself down a dark road that I thought I could never recover form. One that made me have to leave XWL, our dream, behind. I thought I was done for. But throughout everything, there was one thing that kept me going, one force that no matter what, pushed me through every obstacle I faced, leaving me stronger in the end.



[Mike Kanellis]
Love.

[Mike Kanellis]
Every time I looked into the eyes of my beautiful wife, I was safe. I knew everything would be okay. And now here I stand, with my beautiful wife beside me, about to make my triumphant XWL return. Forget about that horrid Bray Wyatt, because now, the XWL Universe will bear witness to……

The two embrace as the crowd here in Des Moines, Iowa rains down with boos. At this point, it seems like they’d almost rather have Wyatt, as insane as that is. At least it wouldn’t be this mess.

[Corey Graves]
This is amazing! Once again XWL is going to feel the power of love!

How can you call that amazing? Felt like I was watching a rom-com from the 1990s.

[Renee Young]
Well, either way, we’re in for some exciting action as two returning superstars, Ricochet and Mike Kanellis, do battle up next!

HERE'S TO THE GREATEST....

As the bell rings, Maria Kanellis excitedly runs into the ring and embraces her husband, as Mike Kanellis begins to raise to his feet. The referee goes to raise his hand, but it’s a bit of a challenge considering Maria is attached firmly to him. The ref tries to get her to leave him just for the moment, but she refuses, prompting the ref to simply shrug his shoulders and walk off.

[Corey Graves]
You see Mauro? That’s the power of love!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Well I will admit that was an impressive win for Mike Kanellis here in his return. Still feeling a little sick over this whole “power of love” thing though.

The in-ring embrace between Mike and Maria Kanellis continues, as Anarchy rolls on.

After the successful return of Mike Kanellis, we follow that up with a very in depth and professionally edited video promoting The North American Champion Mandy Rose. Which ends with a still image of her standing over Alexa Bliss, and then expertly cuts to a zoomed in shot of her raising The North American Championship above her head, as if these two moments were one in the same, we head to the usual interview backdrop where Kayla Braxton is standing by with none other than Alexa Bliss who stares at the monitor completely unimpressed by what she and the audience were just forced to watch.

[Kayla Braxton]
Excuse me, Alexa thank you for joining me but I have specific instructions to read this message aloud before our interview can begin.

Kayla pulls out a piece of paper and opens it up maintaining clear line of sight with the camera, to ensure her message is projected clearly for everyone watching.

[Kayla Braxton]
Last week the very boundaries of an interviewer and the interviewee were severely fractured when a "host" went far beyond the "line" of what is right and wrong, and not only verbally assaulted their guest, but then went one disrespectful step further and had the audacity to then take that attack to physical terms. This behavior is not only frowned upon by management, it is a clear sign that action needs to be taken to ensure that it does not happen again. Per the order of Mr. McMahon's office, Mandy Rose has been granted an emotional leave of absence for the duration of this week so that she may recover from the brutal assault to both her well being and her character last week. It is our hope that through this absence she is able to come back even stronger next week and resume her thus far supreme duties as North American Champion.

Alexa looks at Kayla, and the "message" she just read with a clear roll of her eyes, and a disgust filled groan.



[Kayla Braxton]
Alexa, forgive the informal introduction...but last week you crossed a line, and because of that Mandy Rose isn't able to be here tonight to fulfill her duty as North American Champion. What do you have to say for yourself?

She mouths "Are you kidding me?" With a standard double take as if she really can't believe THAT is how Kayla has chosen to address last week.

[Alexa Bliss]
First of all, I didn't sign up for some smear campaign of an ambush disguised as an interview. A clear sign that the things I identified last week, aren't so far from the truth given this is a blatant fabrication of the actual truth...and this is all orchestrated by Mr. McMahon's office. Well Kayla, to answer your question even if it's improperly structured...I feel great. Because I didn't sugarcoat the truth, or compromise my morality last week...kind of like you are right now by standing there as if you actually believe the things that are being fed to you.



[Alexa Bliss]
What happened last week, was she tried to use her newfound "pull" to belittle me...and as anyone knows, I don't put up with that. I went into last week with every intention of being an unbiased host but also someone that could actually ask the hard questions that you and other "journalists" back here seem to be too afraid, or limited from asking. Furthermore, the fact she's been sent on a vacation, as the direction for determining her next challenger again remains undefined...is the entire reason I cannot agree with Mr. McMahon's decision to award her that title. We know what every other Champion is going to be facing next, except...."God's Greatest Creation." But instead of figuring that out, let's just give Mandy a vacation so that way she can take all sorts of bikini pictures, right? Because that's what matters most right now. Well I reject that. The only emotional trauma she experienced last week? Was someone who wasn't bowing before her "holiness." Which, I'm not going to apologize for.

[Kayla Braxton]
But did that give you the right to pull on her hair, to nearly choke the life out of her, to smack her face off of the production set which not only could have caused her severe harm but also XWL a financial harm?



[Alexa Bliss]
Don't call me a bitch and expect me to sit there and behave. She wants to act unruly, I can be unruly...and trust me if THIS is how XWL as a whole wants to spin things? I will speak even louder, and make sure the REAL message is heard. Like that little video they played a couple minutes ago? Almost makes it look like she beat me to become Champion, but she didn't...she beat me to become contender, and then the champion was stripped of their title, and it was bestowed unto her as if it's just something that can be given away as if Champion's aren't supposed to FIGHT to win titles.

[Kayla Braxton]
To everyone in The XWL Universe it appears like you're just jealous she did what you couldn't, and it's just making you look worse as a result.

[Alexa Bliss]
Everyone? I guess that's why the audience was practically in agreement with me every step of the way during last week's Moment Of Bliss? Why they were cheering me on as I hit her?

[Kayla Braxton]
Perhaps you were hearing incorrectly. Maybe we should go back to that moment so you can hear it more clearly...

[Alexa Bliss]
No, I know what you're going to do. You're going to play another doctored clip and instead of the actual cheers it'll be piped in boos, right?

[Kayla Braxton]
Are you insinuating that XWL is trying to defraud the truth?



[Alexa Bliss]
Actually, yes...that is EXACTLY what I'm saying. This entire ordeal with Mandy is ridiculous. She's been handed everything from day one when her first official match was not only a TITLE MATCH...but it was the freaking Main-Event. Every step of the way has been one show of preferential treatment after the next and if this company or Mr. McMahon for that matter think that I...someone who has been VERY overlooked for opportunity for YEARS...compared to my fellow Women...am going to just watch all of this play out as they want it to? Then I'm sorry but I'm about to be "that" employee. The one that becomes a huge thorn in the side of the powers that be. The one that refuses to sit idly as The North American Championship, and this division are made a mockery of. I was patient for a long time, but now? My patience has worn as thin as the lies that are being spread right now.



[Alexa Bliss]
I have repeatedly challenged Mandy to defend The North American Championship against me, and repeatedly she has denied my rightfulness to that. So tonight, while she's busy laying on a beach somewhere using her title as a sun reflector I'm here ready to prove that not only am I deserving of that? But that I can beat a North American Champion.

[Kayla Braxton]
You're of course referring to your match tonight against the returning Toni Storm who made history at the end of last year by becoming the first North American Champion. But, isn't it a bit presumptuous to think that not only can you beat someone who made more of an impact in one month than you have in 4 years...but that it's also foolish to want such a match given that...should, and likely when you lose...your claims for being the right challenger for Mandy are immediately proven false, like your unfair assessment of her as Champion and a competitor in this division?

From the very moment this "interview" began it's been abundantly clear that this isn't your standard affair where an interviewer looks to give a Superstar the spotlight to talk about recent events and potentially future ones...no, this is a flat out stunt to punish Alexa for going against the "company" and badmouthing their "top" star. And yet again despite Alexa trying to veer off of that and speak of her match with Toni Storm...it's come right back to the smearing of her hopes regarding this match. Alexa tries to reel in her disgust as she attempts to respond to this "question."



[Alexa Bliss]
I'd say it's far more presumptuous to discount me when the fact is I haven't been granted the same opportunities that others have. Despite this, I've had moments that have proven what I am capable of, and victories that may not have landed me in the title picture, but certainly have shown WHY I should be. I'm not afraid of the unknown like our dear "Champ." I could lose tonight, and you're right it very well may say that I'm not ready or deserving of putting my name within the class of The Women who won that title. But Mandy ALSO lost and never showed why she is "ready" or "deserving" to put her name in the class of The Women who held that title before her. So the way I see it? If I CAN defeat Toni tonight? That puts me WAY above The "Golden Goddess." Will it be easy? It'd be insulting to Toni if I dared to discredit the level of talent it took to be the FIRST North American Champion. She's clearly going to be a BIG part of this division for the years to come just based off of her achieving such an accolade in her very first match.  Just like it's insulting of you to discredit me before I've even had the opportunity to compete with someone like her. However, nothing this year has been "easy" for me. It's been one challenge after the next whether emotional, mental, or physical. Despite that, I've given it my all every time and tonight will be no different.



[Kayla Braxton]
Isn't that what you've done with Mandy Rose? Discredit her before her reign even began?



[Alexa Bliss]
I discredited the PROCESS in which that came about. Mr. McMahon overstepped his power as General Manager, as the owner of this company...and made a blatant line in the sand when we saw how deep his infatuation with Mandy Rose is when he stripped Shayna Baszler of her title, ONLY after Mandy became contender. Shayna was a terrible Champion, this is fact...she brought nothing to the title or the matches for it. But if you truly had issue with her? If you truly believed she wasn't living up to her end as Champion? Why didn't you strip her the night after Final Stand and make the match I had with Mandy and Ember to crown a new Champion? Because the truth is he had no issue with Shayna other than the fact that she turned Mandy into Sleeping Beauty at Final Stand and knew that she'd do it again in the title match Mandy just earned. Shayna was stripped because Mandy couldn't beat her...and if you can't beat 'em? Get you a sugar daddy that can.

Once again Alexa is going "THERE" and Kayla starts to grab at her ear and proceeds to try and speak up but she's cut off as Bliss immediately interjects.

[Alexa Bliss]
Oh, what was that? Is Mr. McMahon screaming in your ear to shut me up? Don't bother, as far as I'm concerned this "interview" is over. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a "Storm" to weather...and a North American Championship Match to EARN!

With that final and very clear message to Mandy Rose, and XWL as a whole...Little Miss Bliss looks at Kayla as if she's disappointed to see her fall victim to the politics of this situation, then shakes her head and walks off set. Alexa Bliss through her objection to the controversy that has surrounded Mandy Rose since the moment she was handed The North American Championship, has seemingly based upon how this interviewed played out become even more unfavorable with management than she already was. She's aiming for the new "Golden Girl." And while she's not been given an official route to get The North American Championship Match she aspires to have...she sees this match with Toni Storm as a way navigate her way to that point. Can she defeat the returning Toni Storm? Or will she fail and ultimately self-sabotage any chance of competing against Mandy Rose in the future? Kayla with management in her ear throughout the duration of this interview seems to believe tonight is where it all ends for Bliss' hopes and dreams of dethroning Mandy...but Alexa believes this is where it truly begins. As Kayla watches Alexa leave, you see a brief moment where she noticeably frowns, as if she feels bad for how she treated her. But unless you were paying close attention to Kayla's expression you wouldn't notice that before we faded away and went to a commercial break.

A dark room is what is XWL is taken to. The squeaking of a chair back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. A raspy voice hums a tune that seems to have no real melody. Before it suddenly stops. As does the speaking of the chair. That's when a light bulb brightens, but not too much, above. There in a rocking chairs sits a man. And that man, is Bray Wyatt. Wyatt slowly stands up and faces the camera. His eyes never seem to blink and it almost seems like he isn't breathing. Finally his mouth opens

In my life I have been many...many things. To some I have been a hero. Helping people with no real purpose. Lighting the way for those who need a light to follow. I have taken men and women and gave them reason for their existence. 'Cause after all...that's what everyone is looking for right man? A reason to exist in this cruel world that we call life. Sometimes I'm the hero. And other times...I'm the villain. I have broken the will of people who believe they know what strength is. Ripped their universes apart and showed them the lies that they were fed as children and carried through adulthood. I have shown the brave FEAR.Sometimes I am the villain.

Bray trails off, thoughts in another world as his mind works overtime. Recalling events that have befallen himself and others that he has come into contact with over the years. The wins and losses. Failures and successes. Slowly Bray's eyes snap back to the screen. Almost as if he's remembering that he's being watched

Bray Wyatt
I have lived a thousand lives. Seen infinite timelines through Abigail. And each one of those has ended in failure. Each war I have fought in XWL has ended in failure. And why? I asked myself why? Have I not been a good son to you, Abigail? Have I not spread the words of your wisdom? Lit the way for your teaching? Have I not done everything you have asked me to do?!

Bray's switch to an aggressive tone make some people in the crowd jump a little. His facial features are none too happy. And like that with a snap of the fingers it's gone. Just a blank slate

Bray Wyatt
And then...it hit me. Abigail always said she would guide but never lead. She could show me the way but I would have to walk the journey on my own. And man, I have walked miles upon miles in her name with no success. Until...I had a thought. We humans have tunnel vision. We move forward and forward through life. You see someone crashed on the side of the road, you move forward. You lose your job, you move forward. Your wife leaves you, you move forward. The camera cuts to the next scene. Renee Young is investigating the disappearance of Finn Balor. Renee and a camera man approach the locker room of Finn Balor as she knocks on the door…

No answer.

She knocks again.

No answer.

Renee Young:
So for the past week we have heard nothing from Finn Balor. We talked to all his family and friends and none of them have heard a thing from him. The police have been investigating but they have said they have found no leads to the disappearance. Wherever you are Finn, we hope you are safe.

Aleister Black walks past Renee and the cameraman. He stops for a moment and begins to laugh. He continues this for a moment before walking into the locker room of Finn Balor with no word to anyone. Renee looks back at the cameraman with a scared look on her face.

Renee Young:
I have no idea what’s going on here but I’ll investigate this strange case later on. Hopefully Finn will find his way back to us soon. As it looks right now, the main event is going to be a one on one match. All we can do is hope Finn finds his way back. Renee out.

Regardless of your stance on the current controversy between herself and Mandy Rose...the interview she took apart in earlier tonight shined an unfavorable light on management when she was essentially told by the interviewer that this match was going to prove why she doesn't belong anywhere near Mandy or The North American Championship. But right here right now she just proved the opposite of that.

[Corey Graves]
She beat some washed up fluke of a Champion, how does that in any way say that she's good enough to even challenge a Woman like The Golden Goddess?

[Renee Young]
Excuse me? That "fluke is Toni Storm The FIRST EVER North American Champion who won not only her debut match where that title was contested in...but she beat three other Women in the process in a FATAL 4 WAY MATCH! Do not dare let your lust over Mandy discredit the incredible talent and achievement that Toni Storm EARNED.

The fact that Alexa was not only able to compete with her, but now defeat her? Shows that she can defeat a North American Champion, much like Mandy Rose currently is.

[Corey Graves]
She's not "A" North American Champion she is THE North American Champion.

Alexa rises up after collecting her emotions for a moment then the official throws her hand into the air signaling that she is indeed the victor of this match. The audience applauds not only the match they just witnessed but the victory earned by Little Miss Bliss. Alexa's goal is to be Champion, to be North American Champion to be most specific and for her to stand here now? Having just defeated a former Champion is all she could have ever hoped to come from this night. She's been told she wasn't good enough, but now she's proven she IS. So as her eyes shift directly at the lens of the camera? You see a fire blazing within her pupils as she shouts "THANKS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY, MR. MCMAHON! I'LL TAKE MY TITLE MATCH NOW THANKS!"

[Corey Graves]
Look at her making demands...and Mandy's the one that's "entitled?" This wasn't a Number One Contender Match what is she even talking about?

[Renee Young]
Maybe it could have been a Number One Contenders Match if the focus was on determining Mandy's challenger rather than sending her on an island getaway.

Alexa's hand is lowered as the referee tends to Toni leaving Bliss to extend her arms out wide and continue to revel in her victory knowing that somewhere Mr. McMahon is upset given the not so subtle message he sent through Kayla Braxton earlier in her "interview."



This match was booked not to allow her a chance to show she can hang with a former holder of The North American Championship...no, it was booked so that "when" she lost in their mind...that this would be the end of Alexa's hopes to be the next Number One Contender because if you can't beat a former Champion why waste the time of The CURRENT? But that has now backfired, and allowed Alexa even more ammunition for her fight.

Thankfully JoJo hasn't followed in the example set by Kayla Braxton and has kept it fully professional announcing Alexa as the winner of this match and allowing her to have her moment, to begin celebrating to-

So much for that....the audience starts booing defiantly as Alexa herself lowers her arms and gives the most appropriate "WTF" look on her face as now her theme even stops playing, and instead...the theme of The Woman that isn't here tonight, and is on vacation this week...starts playing because....well we're not sure why.



[Renee Young]
What the hell is this? Mandy isn't apart of this match, she isn't even here tonight!

Alexa's time for celebration is now interrupted by Mandy Rose's theme playing in place of her own, and she's not exactly going to be all happy and smiling as she's forced to listen to the music that no doubt grinds her gears a bit after recent run-ins with the person it belongs to.



With her hands at her side, she turns to face the stage perhaps thinking that this "vacation" deal may have been a ruse all along, and we're about to see Mandy Rose come out...but instead, while her theme keeps playing, we hear the sound of someone clearing their throat, and it's coming from the ringside area, more specifically...from the announce table.

[Corey Graves]
Ladies and Gentlemen, The North American Champion that easily dispatched the person in the ring currently wasting your time to become Champion gives her sincerest apologies for missing tonight's show. But seeing as she is gracious and giving...she's allowed us right now, since nothing else important is happening...to show all of you a special slideshow of her vacation photos!

While the camera remains fixated on Corey as if it's intentionally avoiding showing Alexa we hear a loud "ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!" echo from the direction of the ring which we can only presume is coming from a far from pleased Alexa Bliss that her victory is now being overshadowed by a showcase of VACATION PHOTOS? The lights in the arena suddenly shift to a golden hue, just as they do whenever Mandy makes her entrance, and the first picture pops up on the titantron.

Here is the stunning Champion after just arriving on the private island, of course being such a prideful representative of The North American Championship it is safely located in her carry on never leaving her side for a moment.

After a long flight God's Greatest Creation unwound with a drink as she enjoyed her secluded cabana.

Fully rested she ventured onto a private yacht complimentary of the island for simply being her, bestowing her presence unto the lucky island that I can confirm since this picture was posted on her Instagram at Mandysacs not only have sales skyrocketed...they are booked for the next ten years, the impact of our North American Champion people. She brings the attention, the talent, and the recognition to the hottest spots that become even hotter thanks to her existence, and what a fabulous and awe inspiring existence it is.

While Corey continues to narrate Mandy's vacation...as if this is product we tune in to see on a WRESTLING...show...the audience have gone beyond "irritated" at this celebration of Mandy WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ALEXA'S VICTORY CELEBRATION BECAUSE SHE ACTUALLY COMPETED TONIGHT. They boo, but for some strange reason despite seeing the faces in the background of Corey, and along the ramp as the pictures cycle through...it's as if the mics aren't working and the boos seem almost nonexistent. Still while we can't hear them in their full capacity you can tell the audience is not loving this, well...except for some Men who may not be admiring her for her talent or what she's doing...but they're certainly admiring other qualities displayed by the pictures.

But the fantastically beautiful and TALENTED North American Champion isn't just ignoring her duties as Champion. No here she is in her VANQUISH workout gear as she just finished a 20 mile run on the beach. And not a single drop of a sweat, that is what you call training but not overdoing it and risking an injury. A true Champion that puts their own athletic goals to the side in the name of staying healthy and able to defend her title once a suitable and deserving challenger comes into existence. None of the other announcers say a word, the audience is practically muted at this point, and the camera zooms directly in on that final image, for literally 30 seconds of silence before we finally head to a commercial break, no mention of Alexa's win, or even her whereabouts after her victory was completely snuffed out by the sudden story telling of Mandy Rose's vacation...

The Intercontinental Champion's theme begins to play throughout the arena.



[RENEE YOUNG]
Let's see what Buddy Murphy has up his sleeve this week.

[COREY GRAVES]
What are you talking about? All he wanted to do was give an Intercontinental Championship match to a deserving friend. Is there something wrong with that? Is there something wrong with wanting to help a friend? Don't say you've never wanted to help a friend out because I know that'd be a lie.

[RENEE YOUNG]
I don't know if deserving is the word I would use. I could name a handful of superstars who deserve a championship match before him. Most of all, Matt Sydal deserves his rematch before anyone else steps in line.

[MAURO RANALLO]
Speaking of Matt Sydal, I am expecting an appearance yet again here tonight after his chilling words during last week's open challenge. I don't know when, where, or how he'll make his presence known but he will. I have this gut feeling that he's looming in the distance and waiting for his moment to strike.

Buddy Murphy steps out from behind the curtain but he doesn't have that same confidence in his step that he normally does. He walks out with the championship wrapped around his waist but he isn't doing his normal entrance. He steps onto the top of the stage and glances around the arena. He takes a glance to the left of the stage and then to the right of the stage. It was almost like he was checking his surroundings to make sure there wasn't someone lurking in the shadows. Murphy nods his head and then turns back to the curtain where superstars would make their entrance and he makes a motion with his hand. Four security guards dressed from head to toe in gear emerged from behind the curtain and they march in order to the ring. Each of them took a side as Murphy stays at the top of the stage and watches as his security assumes their correct positions - one on each side of the ring.

[MAURO RANALLO]
I don't know what this is all about but is the champion perhaps scared of his challenger?

[COREY GRAVES]
I wouldn't trust Matt Sydal if I was him either. Murphy wants this to go smoothly.

[RENEE YOUNG]
So... you hire security guards to surround the ring instead of giving Sydal his match?

[COREY GRAVES]
The numbers game worked once against Sydal and it'll work again if he shows his face.

The Intercontinental Champion has begun to march down the ramp and then begins to circle the ring. As he walks past each of the guards, he looks at their face but it was damn near impossible to see the faces behind the goggles, helmets and balaclava masks that they wore. When Murphy reaches the timekeepers area which was halfway through his walk, he retrieves a microphone and then continues to walk around the ring to pass the last two guards.

[COREY GRAVES]
These guards look like they could take Matt Sydal with ease! They have their batons at the ready to strike if needed.

[RENEE YOUNG]
Are we sure that Matt isn't one of these guards? I wouldn't put it past him.

[MAURO RANALLO]
That's preposterous. That's the oldest trick in the book. Sydal wouldn't do that.

Murphy enters the ring and doesn't even give his music a chance to stop.

[BUDDY MURPHY]
Cut the bloody music!

His championship is removed from his waist and is placed over his shoulder. The champion paces around the ring as his theme music dies down. Once it has, he raises his microphone again.

[BUDDY MURPHY]
We're gonna try this again. We're gonna try this again without the interruption of one Matt Sydal. I'm not going to let him spook me out of doing this. His words mean nothing to me. This time, I don't give a damn who it is. I don't give a damn who walks through that curtain. I don't give a damn if it's Roderick Strong. I don't give a damn if it's Drew freaking McIntyre. There's only one condition this time: NO MATT SYDAL! I've been thinking about this heaps and loads and I'm not going to let him ruin this. I'm not going to let him treat me like a bloody drongo. That's a fool for those of you who haven't spent any time in Australia. Matt Sydal can piss off and leave me and my championship alone. And so, I reckon it's time we open up the flood gates and see which superstar - not Matt Sydal - has the balls to go one-on-one with the Juggernaut. C'mon, mates! Which one of you wants to try and stop the Unstoppable!






















Despite that very direct outline...to the surprise of no one, the next sound is the all too infectious theme of Matt Sydal, which sends the audience into a loud frenzy as Buddy Murphy is having NONE of this. "DON'T LET HIM GET ANYWHERE NEAR THIS RING!" Barking order as one by one the guards pull out their batons ready to defend The Intercontinental Champion

[COREY GRAVES]
Didn't he get the message? He's not invited.

[RENEE YOUNG]
After all the stunts Buddy Murphy has pulled at his expense I sincerely doubt Matt cares whether he's invited or not.

[MAURO RANALLO]
But unlike last week The Intercontinental Champion has come prepared with guards specifically designed to keep Matt Sydal far away from ruining this Open Challenge for the second week in a row.

The first two guards reach the ramp looking around, one keeps surveillance by the barricade in case Sydal is about to try something funny. While the other realizing that Matt's proven to be quite the determined Superstar throughout his career in XWL...and thus if he by some chance makes it past the ramp guards, or slips past the guard eyeing the barricade...Buddy needs protection in the ring. So the fourth guard hops up onto the apron, baton in hand as he looks around. Matt's theme has been playing for a little over thirty seconds by this point and Murphy is watching his surroundings like a hawk, as if even he wonders if his security team will be able to prevent things from going array. The two masked guards on the ramp don't see any movement behind the curtain, the guard by the barricade reports that there's no sign of Sydal yet. While the fourth masked mercenary is surveying the vicinity, wondering where Matt's going to show up.

[RENEE YOUNG]
Matt's a man that loves to make an entrance...but the question is with these guards covering every vantage point between where he could come and where Buddy Murphy is...what is his plan and how is he going to execute it?

[MAURO RANALLO]
I wouldn't put it past the former Champion to simply be playing mind games with him. He thinks he's just going to announce his presence? Matt's no newcomer, he's one of the most strategic minds in this business today and whatever he has up his sleeve? Buddy Murphy may not even know what's coming until it hits him.

[COREY GRAVES]
This is just ridiculous, no one pulled a stunt like this with him when he was issuing an Open Challenge every week.

[RENEE YOUNG]
That's because his challenge was respected, and we knew the intention was to bring recognition to the title...Murphy literally tried to give his stable mates of The Undisputed Era a shot at his title. How is that something to be respected? For all we know he could have pulled a finger poke of doom.

[COREY GRAVES]
Nonsense, besides all of that is merely speculation because Matt Sydal assaulted Adam Cole, and trapped Roderick Strong in his locker room preventing us from finding out what might have happened.

[MAURO RANALLO]
Well, I think on of the guard just saw something, they're entering the ring.

[COREY GRAVES]
That's the beauty of the mighty dollar, now they can warn The Intercontinental Champion of what they've seen and this challenge can get underway.

[RENEE YOUNG]
I mean where could he even be coming from? I doubt he'd choose now to make a flashy entrance like repelling from the rafters...and he's not exactly the type to tear through the bottom of the ring.

The fourth guard now in the ring raises his baton...maybe a signal to the others that something is afoot? Buddy's fixated on the ramp, perhaps expecting the most obvious of entrances into this soon to be chaotic field....but then the guard that saw something starts to lunge forward....WHERE DOES HE SEE SYDAL? He charges, ducking down....MAYBE SYDAL ACTUALLY IS COMING FROM UNDER THE RING? Undertaker and Kane eat your heart ou- WHAT? The primed guard takes aim, and WHACK! Strikes The Intercontinental Champion Buddy Murphy with a swift swipe to the back of the leg, doubling him over with an instant as he falls flat on his face.

[COREY GRAVES]
WHAT THE HELL? YOU IDIOT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO HIT MATT SYDAL!

[MAURO RANALLO]
Uh, Corey...

The audience's screams grow ten times as loud as Murphy's own guard strikes him down with the baton...and then grabs their mask, lifting up their goggles, tearing the helmet off of them until....SURPRISE...IT'S MATT SYDAL! He tosses everything to the mat and flashes a smile and shouts "TOP NOTCH SECURITY, BUDDY!" mocking him with a chuckle...before pulling a road runner and hightailing it out of the ring before the other three guards can even react. The two guards by the ramp turn seeing one of their own, now unmasked running by them and straight up the ramp. It happened so fast, and now that we've blinked...Matt Sydal is once again nowhere to be seen as he dashes through the curtain before any of the other three guards could pursue him. Buddy angrily pounds the mat as he clutches the back of his leg shouting at the idiots who not only didn't realize the enemy was literally among them, but then were too slow to stop him from getting away.

[RENEE YOUNG]
It's one of the oldest and most effective tricks in the book.

[COREY GRAVES]
HE JUST ASSAULTED THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION! WHO JUST HITS SOMEONE IN THE BACK OF THE LEG WITH A BATON LIKE THAT?!

[MAURO RANALLO]
I'd say a baton to the back of his leg is still less dastardly than infiltrating The Undisputed Era, turning them against you, and then using your former brothers to then cost you the title you fought valiantly to retain since the year began.

[RENEE YOUNG]
It's not even close...Buddy wants to play games? Matt's proven the past two weeks that he can play too, and he can play just as dirty, as if anyone who knows Matt Sydal didn't already know that by now.

With the former champion gone, the camera is able to focus on Murphy who grabs the ropes and tries to force himself back up to his feet but his leg isn't able to carry his weight and he falls back down to the mat. It might not be any long term damage but one strong swing at the back of the champion's leg might've taken out his ability to use that leg for now. He tries again to get himself back up to his feet but once again, to no avail if he able to stand up. Murphy is approached by one of the medical team members who are stationed at ringside and rather than allowing them to do his job, Murphy shouts at the doctor and tells him to get him a microphone.

[BUDDY MURPHY]
Is this the point where I'm supposed to follow in the footsteps of Matt Sydal and compete with an injured leg?

The crowd pops but of course, Murphy shakes his head in disgust.

[BUDDY MURPHY]
Nah. You all can piss off if you think I'm going to do that. I don't give a damn if he won the World Heavyweight Championship on one leg. I'm smarter than that. This open challenge is officially closed and you all can blame that little prick for that. In fact, they are closed for good because Matt Sydal cannot keep his nose out of my business. I'm done trying to hand championship matches out to the deserving men of this business if this is the thanks I'll get.

With his microphone tossed out of the ring, the Intercontinental Champion takes his championship and begins to slide out of the ring so that he could make his exit. The doctors meet him and begin to check up on the superstar to make sure he's okay and not too badly hurt.

[COREY GRAVES]
Matt Sydal's selfishness has cost everyone in this company a chance at the Intercontinental Championship. Can you believe this? I understand being upset because of the way he lost at International Incident but that doesn't mean he needs to take from the other superstars of this company.

[RENEE YOUNG]
Would you be quiet? That's not the case, obviously. Buddy screwed Matt and now he's getting back at him. Matt Sydal wants to make sure Buddy Murphy is holding that championship when he takes it back. I would assume at Downpour since that's our next big event. We have yet to get any sort of conformation that a match will take place there.

[MAURO RANALLO]
Perhaps we'll figure out what's in store for these men next week now that we know there will no longer be anymore open challenges. Maybe Buddy will properly address Matt Sydal and give him what he wants: his rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. In the mean time, we have a big night ahead of us. Two triple threat matches are scheduled to take place. One to help determine the next contender for the World Television Championship and the other where we'll see two superstars who lost their qualifiers go up against the current World Heavyweight Champion.

As Mauro finishes speaking, we head off to a video which will hype up the main event of the night.

A confident Demon Allie grins as she looks around the arena, she gets to her feet savoring her win here tonight, The Man Becky Lynch is slowly recovering herself after what was probably one of the best matches either of these two women have put on in their careers. Becky calls for a mic as shes now on one knee, Allie looks a little confused as the ring announcer hands Becky the mic, still clutching her neck she begins to speak.

Ya know, I may think you look like a Dollar store Rosemary costume contestant but, that was one hell uv a match.

I'll be the first to say congrats, welcome to XWL. This is the land of the giants and tonight you went out here and slayed yourself one and I'm not lyin' when I say that was some of the most fun I've had kickin' some ones ass and quite honestly, gettin' my ass kicked. Becky winks at Allie as she tosses the mic down, Allie seems to pay her no mind though as she goes back into her own head....laughing sadistically for unknown reasons. We fade to commercial break.

Make it quick can't you see that I have a match to prepare for.

Last week you made your return at the expense of Kairi Sane. Can I get your word on that?

[Kaitlyn]
Well as I said she was in the right place but at the wrong time. You see last time you seen me was when I made the decision to attack Natalya. I was supposed to get another championship match but I didn't due to me going back and forth fighting with myself on turning on the people who told me they cared or not. As you can see I made my decision and well since Kairi's champ now she caught the bare end of a spear. I am gonna start where I had left off.

[Kayla Braxton]
What may I ask are your intentions heading forward through tonight and with the womens elimination chamber coming up at downpour?

[Kaitlyn]
Well tonight I got put in a match with the woman I attacked last week and I know she's out for revenge. You see heres the thing I know she's still suffering from that spear I gave her last week. That spear and revenge will be her own down fall because she is gonna be so focused on that her head won't be in the right place and she will be able to be picked apart piece by piece. I will then show everyone that their precious champion that they call The Pirate Princess is not champion material.

Kaitlyn takes a moment before speaking to flip her hair back out of her face.

[Kaitlyn]
As for the women's elimination chamber I know there is still a sixth spot that has yet to be announced. So I plan on knocking Kairi of tonight by getting a win on the champion and showing everyone why I belong in that match. I should be the sixth person in that match because if it weren't for me fighting myself and taking a leave I would have already been champ and would still be champ but you can't change the past. So my focus is on becoming champ now and proving to everyone why I am the best in this business. I promise you there is no one here who is gonna stand in my way of becoming XWL Women's Champion.

Hiya, don't beleive that we've had the pleasure of meetin', I'm "The Man" Becky Lynch.

Becky extends her hand to Kaitlyn, who just looks at it then back up at her. Becky just mouths "okay" to herself as she continues.

Undertaker whips Daniel Bryan into the corner where AJ Styles waits but Daniel steps up the turnbuckle in signature fashion and flips over the Deadman, however, the Phenomenal One got eager and has tagged himself into the match. Daniel Bryan doesn’t seem to have realized this as he charges against the ropes and then back at Undertaker. Undertaker goes for a big boot but Daniel Bryan ducks it and bounces off the ropes again! Daniel Bryan is feeling it as he goes for a clothesline on Undertaker but he’s caught! The gloved hand of the Deadman wraps around the throat of Bryan and his arm is thrown over his as he sets him up but Daniel wasn’t going to let Undertaker hit his chokeslam that easily. Elbows to the head staggers the Deadman but it’s not enough to stop him. Undertaker lifts Daniel up for the chokeslam but Daniel reverses and ends up behind The Undertaker! Styles is still on the apron but that’s about to change as he adjusts his elbow pad and signals for his signature move. Styles jumps up onto the top rope and then springs off and goes to hit his Phenomenal Forearm on Undertaker… but the Deadman quickly avoids the attack which causes Styles to connect with Daniel Bryan!

AJ just hit his own partner with a Phenomenal Forearm!

That was totally intentional on AJ’s part. He was clearly jealous of Daniel’s offense.

When Styles turns around to face the Deadman, the Undertaker is quick to grab Styles by the throat and hit a chokeslam on him to the dismay of the audience in attendance! Undertaker signals that the end is coming as he picks the Phenomenal One back up and lifts him into position for a Tombstone Piledriver. Undertaker drops to his knees and connects with his finisher! He brings the hands of Styles to his chest and proceeds to pin him.

I want to make one thing clear, at International Incident my partner and I almost wasn't able to compete. Unfortunately we had both contracted the horrid affliction that comes with traveling and unfortunately for us it cost us the match when we chose to try and compete with such a horrible, draining and demoralizing status that the long flight afflicted on us.

The theme hits as two spotlights drop on stage. In each, a champion. Not a normal superstar, but a champion. Both extending finger guns towards the ring, smirking with their belts around their waist. Then the lights go up, revealing fully Chad Gable and Chris Sabin, TCSI. Both of which holding mics. They look to each other and take a few steps forward, looking to the ring.

Chad points to the ring, right at Sami Zayn. Chris nudges him, confused.

And here you are, practically demanding a shot at these prestigious, illustrious, sought after golden Tag Team Championships after you lost at International Incident. While we have been setting the precedent for what it means to be Tag Team Champions, you've been meandering like an epileptic every time you walk to this ring-

Jay looks to argue with Sami, who just nudges him again.

Chris turns to Chad who has the mic raised, pointing right to the ring. His jaw is slack, confused. He reaches up and slams a hand onto his face in an angry facepalm. He raises his mic once more to Chad.

Chris Sabin
And why, on earth, would we do that?

[Chad Gable]
Because I believe, what everyone else in this arena believes Chris. That we are the best tag team in the world. That Chris Sabin and Chad Gable, when on the same page, can not be beaten. That pound for pound, in every country, every state, every city, we stand tall above everyone else. Because I believe in us, Chris. That we can beat them in the ring, clean.

But, we don't have to do that Chad. They didn't beat Golden Lovers, we don't owe them anything.

[Chad Gable]
It's not about owing anyone anything Chris. It's about setting an example. About stealing the show and about proving why we are the World Tag Team Champions. My inner Captain America might be coming out but I'm determined to prove a point, much like he was determined to stop Thanos.

Chris takes a moment and then sighs, turning his attention back to the ring.

Chris Sabin
You want that match? You got it. TCSI vs Cut Throat Era, next week. We accept.

And with that, a match is made official for next week. Inside the ring, a visually surprised Sami Zayn looks at White in disbelief and in a surprised tone shouts out “I can't believe that worked!” Outside the ring, Gable and Sabin exchange a look, with the latter mouthing out “I hope you know what you're doing” towards the former, who simply nods his head with a smile on his face. Sabin's reluctance to agree is easily noted but if Gable believes they could win, who is he to disagree? The duo on the outside begin to undo the Tag Team Championships from around their respective waists and raise them into the air. While the match itself isn't for the Championships, it does have Championship stipulations because if Zayn and White manage to go gain a victory, they would have a legitimate claim to a Championship Match. Despite that possibility, collectively, the Tag Team Champions have suffered a single loss as a team since their unlikely inception, and that sole loss was due to the man in the ring in Sami Zayn. As we begin to fade into a commercial break, the last scene we see is that of Zayn and White, mainly Zayn, giddy in the ring as his masterful plan has worked to perfection, while the Tag Team Champions remain outside the ring, holding their Championships high into the air.

Naito releases the pin as he raises his arms in victory.

Mauro Ranallo:
What a great return for Naito tonight with a win over Adam Cole! He must be feeling great after that win!

Corey Graves:
Last week Adam Cole was viciously attacked from behind by Matt Sydal. He obviously wasn’t 100% going into this matchup. Naito only won because of Sydal.

Renee Young:
Injured or not, Naito pulls out the win tonight and he looked great doing it.

Naito rises up from the mat as the ref raises his hand. Naito walks towards the ropes and embraces the crowd when out of nowhere..

BANG!

Roderick Strong lands a big knee right to the side of Naito’s head rendering him unconscious.

Renee Young:
That’s pathetic. Undisputed Era has no business getting involved after the match. Naito won fair and square and you’re going to take that away from him? That’s sickening.

Corey Graves:
Well, if you can’t beat him one way then might as well beat him another. Roderick is helping Adam Cole cause he knows exactly what Cole has been through.

Adam Cole slowly gets up holding the back of his neck. Together both Cole and Strong begin destroying Naito with rapid stomps. After they finish stomping Adam calls for Strong to pick him up to his knees. Cole grabs his face and begins screaming insults into his face with no remorse. Cole then backs up and delivers a devastating kick straight to the jaw of Naito. Cole and Strong both throw the unconscious Naito out of the ring and Cole calls for a mic.

Adam Cole:
Last week, me and my buddy Roddy here were both blindsided by Matt freaking Sydal. Those actions will have consequences old friend. You honestly can’t stand the fact that you lost your title and you feel like you have to take your anger out on us but we are the ones who will have the final laugh. So how about this. Me and you settle this once and for all.  I challenge you to a match next week on Anarchy! Just me and you old pal. You will pay for what you’ve done to us. I’ll show you exactly why you’re the weak link. No more taking the limelight. I will bury you next week. Your hold on this company ends next week. And that’s… UNDISPUTED!

Cole throws the mic out of the ring as him and Roderick boast among one another. Then they turn towards the camera and throw up the famous Undisputed hand sign before the camera fades to the next scene.

No one can quite put their finger on what Tessa's feeling right now, only she herself can let us in on that information if she so chooses too, one thing that is absolutely clear to the XWL universe however? is that Tessa's face is hurting right now following that physical battle with Asuka moments ago, how do we know that you might ask? that would happen to be due to the icepack that Tessa currently has practically attached to her jaw at the moment in hopes to decrease the swelling of that area.

Tessa, the last few weeks for you have clearly been tough, first Kairi Sane nearly breaks your neck with one of her finishing maneuvers at the contract signing, then she goes on to beat you at International Incident in what was an all time classic Women's Championship match for this company and subsequently takes that title from you, and now we come to tonight, where another woman from the land of the rising sun has managed to beat you. What's your mindset like at the moment? How are you processing all of this right now?

(Tessa Blanchard)
It's been difficult Charly, I won't lie, the last month or so has been about as bad as it could've been for me, but you know what? I'm not angry, disappoint looms within myself sure, but at the end of the day? what keeps me going? what keeps me driven? is knowing that this is what I signed up for when I made that leap to the next level at Final Stand. When I became champion I knew the target would be on my back from day one, and it was, Kairi EARNED her shot at me, she TOOK a shot at me, and she BESTED me, she did EXACTLY what she was supposed to do from start to finish. I give her all the credit in the world for her title win and I have no doubt that she's a champion that the XWL universe can be proud of.

The XWL universe has no complaints there, they absolutely loved the sportsmanship Tessa showed at International Incident when she took it upon herself to wrap the very belt that was in her possession seventy minutes earlier directly around Kairi Sane's waist, many said it was their feel good moment of the evening, and these words from Tessa make it clear that it wasn't just an act to save face, it was genuine competitive respect that now solidly lay between Tessa and Kairi.

As for tonight, I can't lie, it hurts, not just physically, but mentally as well. I got bested once again, I gave it my all out there but it wasn't enough, it simply wasn't good enough from me. It wasn't the type of performance that I expect myself to put on out there, and maybe that's due to me still not being re-focused on what lay ahead after losing the title at International Incident, maybe there's just a little bit of that old Tessa rising from the ashes, maybe that old Tessa is banging on the door somewhere within me and telling me to SNAP, maybe she wants me to go take out Kairi before the chamber, hell maybe she wants me to go take out ALL of the competition before Downpour that way when they shut the door on that chamber? I'm the only one in it, which is an accurate representation of how that old dormant Tessa must feel, alone and trapped in a cage.

Uh-oh, that can't be good, the old Tessa still lurking within this new and improved Tessa Blanchard? That would be a total disaster!!!

If what I just said is true? if that old Tessa is lurking within me? then I better STOMP IT OUT before Downpour comes around, otherwise? the doubters and the naysayers out there will be proven right, Tessa Blanchard hasn't changed in their eyes and I'd be saying to the world that those people have been right all along. Trust me when I tell you this, I'm NOT that person anymore and I am HELLBENT on staying on the path Natalya set me on, otherwise? my hopes of redemption at Downpour? my hopes of making Natalya proud by overcoming the ultimate odds to get that title back? my hopes of becoming the woman to spearhead this division into the future? they're all gonna be what I consider that old Tessa to be, DEAD AND GONE....

In that moment, with those impactful words delivered and the XWL universe taking in Tessa's inner-struggle, an unexpected guest arrives.

Allie smiles every so slightly before staring at Tessa with a very vague blank look on her face

Tessa merely shakes her head at this whole awkward situation that has just sprung itself onto her out of nowhere just as she was in the midst of trying to get it ALL figured out for herself, and by ALL we mean ALL that's gone wrong for XWL's Undeniable Diamond over the last month, and now? Allie is here? it's clear that mentally? this is just too much for Tessa right now as she walks off the set whilst shaking her head in disapproval and at the same time continuing to apply pressure to the icepack that's practically taped to her jaw the way she's got it held, she heads down the hallway that leads to the locker room area and this segment ends with Charly confused as to what's just transpired and the camera zooming in on Allie who's blank stare manages to send us into a commercial break.

After last week who knows what could happen tonight. An incident in her match last week with Bayley clearly sparked something in the two competitors ending in a brawl between them and the match ended in a no contest.



Renee Young
We haven't heard from Ember or Bayley since then but it doesn't seem like either of those two competitors to have done something like this.

Corey Graves
Maybe this is just one of those things, both Ember Moon and Bayley must know that if they were able to grab a win last week then they could be in contention for a championship opportunity in the near future, it could just be the case that they were just feeling the pressure of that reality.

As Ember's entrance finishes her music ends as she awaits her opponent to come out



When Nikki Bella's music starts the crowd is mixed between some boos but cheers amongst her female fans as she makes her way to the ring for her return match



Corey Graves
Well hopefully for Ember's sake she can get back on track tonight against Nikki Bella. We were looking forward to seeing her return last week, but unfortunately it got postponed, and now she has to deal with Ember Moon, and if her actions last week are any indication of things then Nikki could be in for a long night.

Renee Young
I'm not sure after being out for such a long time that stepping into the ring with someone like Ember is the best idea, but we'll just have to see if Nikki is ready for this test.

Mauro Ranallo
And a test it will be, both of these ladies have something to prove tonight and this promises to be an interesting match-up.

As the bell rings both women circle the ring and lock up in the center, however Ember quickly turns it into a head lock and takes Nikki take to the mat keeping her head held tight and not allowing Nikki off the mat. After a few seconds Nikki begins to fight her way off the mat, forcing Ember and herself back to their feet and she starts to hit Ember in the stomach a few times with a forearm before forcing her back into the ropes and shooting her across the ring. As Ember hits the ropes and comes back towards her opponent, she takes Nikki down with a shoulder block

Ember seems to be getting the best of Nikki in the early goings in this one.

Corey Graves
Maybe she wasn't as ready to come back as she thought.

As Nikki hits the mat, Ember quickly gets on top and starts to wail away at Nikki, until the referee has to pull her off of her, however Ember forces her way past the referee as Nikki is getting back up to her feet, who she grabs and whips into the corner hard and Nikki slumps back to the mat

Did you just hear that, Nikki's neck just bounced off the turnbuckle.

Renee Young
She told us last week about the problems with her neck, and it's not looking good for her tonight.

And how aggressive has Ember Moon been tonight? She knew Nikki has had neck problems and she's taking full advantage of it tonight!

As Ember walks over to Nikki she starts to pick her back up, but Nikki starts to fight back hitting Ember in the stomach a few times, trying to create some space but Ember quickly shuts down any offence Nikki might be having she throwing her backwards back into the corner and stomp at her, forcing the referee to pull Ember away from Nikki once again

As the referee finishes warning Ember, she makes her way back over to Nikki, who grabs Ember by the waist and pulls her drop hitting her head on the exposed turnbuckle, and quickly taking advantage of the situation and lifting Ember onto her shoulders, carrying her to the middle of the ring and suddenly planting her with the Rack Attack 2.0 and going for the cover.

As Nikki retreats back up the ramp, the camera turns back to Ember Moon clearly upset with how the match ended, Nikki's music quickly stops and in it's place the theme music for Peyton Royce starts to play



As her music starts to play Peyton Royce emerges on the stage with a microphone in her hand as Nikki looks on, confused from the bottom of the ramp

As Peyton finishes speaking the camera focuses upon her face, before cutting to Nikki looking up at her at the end of the ramp as Anarchy heads to a break

Walking through the hallways with a purpose we find no one other than The Empress. Asuka has a tall order, having to fight former Women's Champion Tessa but it seems as if she's looking for someone. Asuka wanted to let it be known that the line started behind her last week when it came to getting at Kairi Sane but bother Becky and Dark Allie showed her that it wouldn't be that easy. Maybe after the attack from behind Asuka is looking for Allie. Asuka's eyes light up and she quickens her pace finding her mystery person warming up

Hey! You!

The person looks up and we find none other than the Women's Champion Kairi Sane staring back at Asuka. The last time these two met was right before International Incident in what was a great match. Asuka approaches her slowly, not wanting to give off a hostile vibe

Asuka
I want to talk to you. One on one because I feel like it will be hard later. You beat Tessa. I impressed. Fighting you weeks ago I can tell you good. And I glad that you won. Because I thought that meant that I would be first in line to fight you for that title since I beat you the week before you won that. And I just knew you'd be fighting champion. But I have always had worst timing because of course it's chamber season. So instead of getting fair one on one with you, I'll have fight my way through four other women to take that title from you

Asuka's eyes dart to that title she speaks of which lays on the floor next to Kairi's feet. Everything shes wanted out of XWL is laying right before her and Asuka wants so bad to reach forward and grab it.To hold it. But, Kairi and four other women stand between her and that goal

You seem like okay person. So I wanted to be honest with you. Because I was really nice like you once. And it got me nothing. Nothing but being fired from dream job and my arm being ripped out of it's socket basically. Your choice of friends are bad. I won't bore you because I said it so many times but your friend Alexa? She is a snake. And if you manage to hold on to that title past this chamber she will strike. You. Down. With no mercy. Her mind is busy with Mandy Rose but don't think you are safe. Cause as long as you have that? She will betray you. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. It can be a year from now but it will happen. Because people can't change, no matter how much you pretend or wish. Lucky for you because she won't get the chance to do it. Because come Downpour, I taking the title. I want it Kairi. I want it bad. it is only thing that will erase the failures I have shown throughout XWL. I need it to prove I am best wrestler in the world. I need it and I want it. I just thought it be respectful to tell you this to your face

Kairi nods her head and retracts her gaze from the Empress of Tomorrow, opting to bend down and wrap her hand around the Women's Championship and bringing it up to her torso, shifting its weight towards her wrist while continuing to grip the main plate with her hand. She looks down at her treasure, a treasure that has five other women looking to plunder it from her possession, one of which is standing face to face with her. She takes a deep breath and returns her gaze towards one of her many opponents and begins speaking.

I get it. You don't understand how much I get it. You want something that belongs to someone else that you believe is rightfully yours. You believe that it's your destiny to become Women's Champion and the only thing you need is an opportunity, just one chance to make your dream a reality. I got my chance at International Incident and as a result, I got my treasure. It wasn't easy, it was the most difficult thing I had to do but I did it anyways. It took everything I had to walk away with this Women's Championship, and despite barely being able to stand under my own power after the match was over, that will be nothing compared to when I walk into the Elimination Chamber for the first time. Getting this Championship was easy, it's keeping it that's the difficult part. And while I got my chance at International Incident, you and four other women get yours at Downpour and that will be no easy feat.

Kairi Sane
I appreciate you coming here and telling me this face to face instead of attacking me like a coward. I look forward to facing you inside the Elimination Chamber for the first time, just like I look forward to meeting Tessa in that ring once again, and just like I'm anticipating getting a bit of revenge on Kaitlyn for attacking me last week. Trust me when I say that you will be a Champion one day, you have the tools it takes to reach the top, you are an incredible athlete but that day won't come at Downpour. I have worked my entire career, my entire life to reach this point. I have sacrificed many things to become Women's Champion and if you or anybody else inside the Elimination Chamber thinks that I'm going to give this up without a fight, you've got another thing coming. I will walk out of Downpour with my treasure by any means necessary. Don't mistake that for a threat because it's not, it's a promise.

Asuka's eyebrows raise up high, not expecting such confidence from the Champion. Slowly she licks her lips with a predator like grin

Finally...a worthy challenge. I gonna enjoy taking that...

Asuka's finger ever so lightly touches the title of Kairi, making the champion slightly scowl

...From you. And all I have to do is beat. You. Again

With that Asuka walks backwards, her eyes locked on Kairi's. A close in on a determined look Sane is what brings this to an end
