LIVEFROM: The Staples Center Los Angeles, California
DEADLINE: 4:30 P.M. EST / 9:30 P.M. GMT
-/- News heading into tonight's show -/-
1. Roll Out the Red Carpet
That's right folks. The night we've all been waiting for is back. In a very special episode of Anarchy, we will find out the winners of the Slammy's for the 2K17 season. With awards ranging from Best Match to Champion of the Year and even including awards that look towards the future, we will see the best and brightest recognized tonight. Good luck to one and all!
2. Betrayal at Roulette
Roulette featured many shocking moments, one being Brother Nero turning on his own flesh and blood. Following his surprise loss to The Miz in a World Heavyweight Championship match, Awoken Matt Hardy found himself on the business end of a Royal Decree. The Royal Family appears to be Broken now, and Nero will be facing Randy Orton in a rehash of one of XWL's oldest rivalries while last years Most Likely to Succeed Slammy winner Awoken Matt will take on the winner of this years award. Despite the fact that they will not be competing against each other, you can bet that the bad blood between two brothers won't be ignored.
3. Monster v Monster
Braun Strowman, who could be argued as the most physically dominant superstar in XWL, will be taking on one of the few men in the world who could challenge him in that realm, Mark Henry. After making a brief appearance in XWL months ago, the World's Strongest Man is back and ready to level the playing field. Both men will be looking to make an impact, and any fans in the front row might need to bring some protective equipment because debris will be flying as these two titans disrespect their surroundings.
4. Expanding Powers
JBL and Bad News Barrett clashed yet again at Roulette, but it wasn't the match that had people talking as much as the events surrounding it. JBL was selected by the wheel to be Matt Sydal's partner in his match against the Switchblades, and his help did not come freely. JBL laid out an ultimatum, if they win, Sydal becomes the newest member of the Cabinet. Lo and behold, the unlikely duo won. How will Sydal respond to his apparent drafting into the frequently changing group of JBL's henchman? This was not the only surprise involving the cabinet. None other then The Beast Incarnate himself, Brock Lesnar, interrupted the match between the bitter rivals and decimated Barrett before turning his sights on JBL. JBL was saved by the pleas of Paul Heyman, but the mere thought of Lesnar being involved with the Cabinet should be enough to send shivers down Barrett's spine. With Lesnar and Sydal facing off in a rematch of their epic match from May and Barrett and JBL having a rematch of their lauded Falls Count Anywhere match, the XWL Universe will be on the edge of their seats to see how it all unfolds.
5. Miz-sion Accomplished
The Miz had an interesting evening at Roulette. He first found himself being rather quickly defeated in his planned match against John Cena and AJ Styles. Following this crushing defeat, the Awesome one saw his name appear as the individual who would fight Awoken Matt Hardy for the World Heavyweight Championship. With the humiliation he suffered just hours earlier fresh in his mind, he stepped out into the main event lights to try to redeem himself. And redeem himself he did. In a shocking turn of events, The Miz was able to reverse out of Hardy's devastating finisher and hit his own. 1! 2! 3! With those three strikes of the mat, he found himself holding up the elusive belt that all superstars strive for.
6.Indomitable
Will April ever have her title taken from her? This question has been asked for months now, and the answer is starting to look like a resounding NO. However, every day is a new day and Natalya will once again have a shot at seizing the championship in tonight's main event. This will not be a normal match though. No, this will be a rematch of the Hell in a Cell match that tore the roof down at Downpour. These two warriors will once again clash in the structure that can end a career in the blink of an eye. Will Natalya finally reach the pinnacle and be the one to pin April or will April again show why she is the most dominant competitor in the XWL ring today?

[Mauro Ranallo] Here it comes, The Golden Star Press that beat Brock Lesnar the last time these two squared off!
[Corey Graves] I hate to bet against The Beast, but Sydal proved this move gets the job done before, it may be about to do it again.
[Mauro Ranallo] Uh, what?
Sydal stood on the top rope, ready to leap off when suddenly the theme of Chris Jericho began to play, and immediately Jericho steps out onto the stage, and everyone including Sydal is puzzled as to what he's doing. Heyman who was ringside was trying to wake Brock up during this distraction, as JBL, and English stood ringside watching The Cabinet's newest members put on a show that had taken a now unexpected turn.
[Mauro Ranallo] What's Chris Jericho doing out here? There's a match going on, a match that was about to end at that.
[Corey Graves] Chris Jericho goes where he wants to, he's sick of not being plastered all over this company so he's doing it himself. First defeating Triple H earlier, presenting Rivalry Of The Year their Slammy, and now...well, I don't know what he's doing but you we're talking about him, aren't we?
Sydal watched as Jericho began to strut down the stage, twirling his scarf in his hand, you hear Sydal shout "What the hell are you doing?!" but before he can get an answer, a gloved hand suddenly grabs him by his ankle, the camera turns, as does he...to see Brock Lesnar back on his feet, he's yanked off the top rope, flung into the air...and caught onto the shoulders of The Beast Incarnate! With boos echoing at the downright wrong turn this match had taken, fans watch as Brock connects with an F-5 that rocks Sydal so hard he damn near does a backflip as he hits the mat! Having flattened The Golden Ticket, the conquerer covers him.

3!!!!!!!!!!
[Mauro Ranallo] You know, I don't like that smirk on the face of JBL, I'm starting to think he's behind this.
[Corey Graves] What gives you the right to make such baseless accusations?
Jericho soon slides into the ring, and JBL along with Aiden English enters the ring as well, Heyman stares around still not completely trusting of The Cabinet, when suddenly Jericho flashes a grin as he extends his hand....to JBL? As if this were some elaborate plan to put Sydal in his place, and show Sydal who is in charge...JBL shakes Jericho's hand, and raises it into the air, essentially endorsing what we can only assume is the latest person to join The Cabinet.
[Mauro Ranallo] You were saying?
[Corey Graves] I mean The Cabinet is a growing force in XWL, with JBL's leadership at the helm there are big things ahead for them. Why wouldn't Jericho want in on that? And when you have an unruly addition that's having seconds thoughts on what he agreed to, then hey you need to teach him a lesson. And doing that by revealing another member is genius. He would've never seen that coming, it's perfect.
Jericho, English, JBL raise each other's hands to boos, as Paul Heyman seems intrigued by this stunt.
[Mauro Ranallo] I do have to say it's been a big night for The Cabinet, several new members, English became Most Likely to Succeed, JBL is one half of Rivalry Of The Year...
[Corey Graves] Matt Sydal was the winner of Oh My God Moment Of The Year.
[Mauro Ranallo] I doubt he'd appreciate you giving that recognition to The Cabinet.
While The Cabinet stands tall in the ring, Sydal rolls out of the ring, collapsing to the floor with a glare directed solely at the remorseless JBL. "I'LL NEVER JOIN YOU" he exclaims as we fade to a commercial break.

If Cena wins? he's added to the Miz vs AJ Styles World Heavyweight Championship Match at Breakthrough, if AJ wins? Cena must join Bullet Club
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/202724095

Cena's theme blasts throughout the arena as the live audience in attendance jumps to their feet seeing as their favorite Superstar has not only inserted himself into the World Heavyweight Championship match at Breakthrough, but he as also avoided joining the faction that he has waged war on for the past seven months in The Bullet Club and has finally defeated AJ Styles in the process. Cena rises to his feet, the referee lifting his arm into the air to signal him the victor of this contest as Styles rolls out of the ring. Before he could properly celebration his well deserved victory, he's interrupted when he's sent to the canvas in one fellow swoop by a Skull Crushing Finale, courtesy of The Miz. He lifts up the World Heavyweight Championship into the air as he stands above his newly added opponent, that being the final image shown as Anarchy heads into its final break for the evening.

[Mauro Ranallo] And here we go with what promises to be a brutal main event for the Women's Championship!
The two time Slammy winner of the night walks from behind the curtain but unlike earlier she's not smiling. There is no joy on her face. Where's once upon the time April would have been overjoyed to take part in a structure like Hell in a Cell. She would have loved to have tortured an opponent but ripping flesh against steel or trying to throw and opponent off the cell. This April is different from Downpour. This is an April that wants nothing to do with Hell in the Cell
[Mauro Ranallo] Fun fact, April actually is a three time Slammy winner. So won Female Superstar of the year, Champion of the year, and there was a tie for Match of the Year. One being Undertaker vs Finn Balor Hell in a Cell and the next being April vs Natalya Hell in a Cell. Not a bad night for April eh?
[Corey Graves] Yeah but it can all end on a sour note. Not only does April have to fight who she considers a best friend. Not only does she have to do it inside satan's structure. We know she is far from 100% and a match like this preys on weakness and injuries
April's arm looks taped of even as she descends down the ramp to mostly cheers but still some boo's. The change in reaction might come from the fact of who she's facing but the reactions of the crowd is the last thing on the champion's mind. April holds her title tight as she stands in front of the door that will lead to a perfect night or a bitter defeat
[Mauro Ranallo] We've seen April overcome crazy odds before. Heck, we even called her winning this match months ago. But something feels different and that doesn't bode well for the Champion
[Corey Graves] I'll tell you what's different, April has lost the killer instinct in a way. I've watched April's arsenal changed. Her kicks are lethal for sure. A Spinning back kick or her signature Pele kick can put moth opponents down. But Natalya isn't most opponents. She banished the Sister Abigail to cut off ties with Wyatts. She stopped playing mind games to make herself a better person and I think it might come back to bite her
[Mauro Ranallo] How does that effect April though?
[Corey Graves] All I'm saying is those things made April, April. Gave her a little edge in matches. How is she supposed to win with a mindset that doesn't want to hurt people to the fullest extent? She's going too hesitate and the moment she does she's gonna lose. I'm glad she's changed her ways but in this match it might be better to bring out Sister April instead
April has stepped through the door and now stands in the middle of the ring. Her Championship in her hands she kisses it briefly before raising it high into the air for everyone to see as she stares at the entrance with a mix of worry an anxiousness
Soon The Challenger's theme sounds causing a massive reaction of cheers...and stepping out without any sort of delay is Natalya, and much like April she also has a different mindset and mood heading into this match than their now Slammy nominated Match of The Year did back at Downpour. You see a seriousness that has a hint of emotional unstableness, and how could she not be? Sasha has terrorized her, which she could deal with, April did that to her for 9 months. But Sasha took it one step further, targeting her family...and for someone like Nattie, that cuts deep. That possesses you to want nothing more than to avenge your fallen family.
[Mauro Ranallo] What's truly interesting about this last rematch here tonight is the fact that both have evolved since their last encounter. Natalya of course adding a new and so far proven maneuver to her arsenal in the form of a Butterfly Lungblower, which put away Sasha at Roulette.
[Corey Graves] I had never seen anything quite like it, and I know our Women's Champion never has either.
[Mauro Ranallo] But as we talk about the less hardened April than the "Sister April" she was back when these two first took their war to hell. We have to talk about the state of Natalya. We saw first hand that she's not in the best of places when she tried to tip one of The Slammy Statues on the stage down onto Sasha.
[Corey Graves] Sasha could have been seriously hurt if she wasn't able to leap out of the way in time. And then as if that wasn't enough, Natalya then tried to powerbomb her ONTO THAT STATUE!
[Mauro Ranallo] In some ways this match is almost the first bit of peace Natalya has had since Sasha betrayed her 2 months ago. She'll be locked inside, it will just be them, she doesn't have to worry about Sasha, she doesn't have to worry about The Bullet Club, it's just going to be a clash for the ages for The Women's Championship.
Natalya peers down the stage, seeing a cautious April clutching her title, though their relationship has been repaired since their deeply chaotic rivalry this year...this is still a soft subject for Natalya. This was her match to win back at Downpour, and she lost. It's a loss that still stings to this day, it's a loss that she can't afford to let happen again, not when it seems like she has victory at last in her sights. Things may be complicated, she may have Sasha, April may have two aspiring challengers sniffing around for a title shot in Carmella & Alexa...but this match ignores all of that, this is where they recapture the match they had in the final encounter of their rivalry, this is where The Female Superstar AND Champion of The Year looks to do what Bobby Roode couldn't earlier tonight, and that's defend her title.
[Corey Graves] Of course, there's another huge factor in this match, April is heard, we all saw the report on XWL.com, we see the bandages around her arm here tonight, she is defying the doctors and pushing herself to remain champion, but there's only so far someone can push themselves.
[Mauro Ranallo] I agree, she's taking on a huge task, while not 100%, it's very risky and it's a testament to the redemption she seeks. April terrorized this division for so long, but she's finally getting the recognition she's wanted, she's finally being the champion we can be proud of. Why would she willingly give that up?
Reaching the bottom of the stage, staring at the structure she never thought she'd return to...Natalya grabs at the chain length wall before her and exhales a deep breath. Her rivalry with April was a battle with fear unlike anything she had ever experienced before...and tonight, while they're not as bitter of enemies as they once were, that fear is still a factor, not because of April...but because of Natalya. She doesn't want to fail anymore, she doesn't want to come "close" anymore, she doesn't want history to repeat itself...she wants to FINALLY beat April, and after nearly 8 years, become champion again. Her hand glides along the door, pulling it back behind her as she steps into Hell in a Cell, and slams the door shut, her eyes focused on The Women's Champion.
[Mauro Ranallo] It's been a monumental show, we've already crowned one new champion in Chad Gable, who defeated Bobby Roode in his open challenge earlier...might we end the night by crowning another?
[Corey Graves] They say history repeats itself, but when AJ Styles & John Cena battled it out in their Emergence rematch just a little bit ago, John Cena defied that statement beating Styles and making The Miz's World Heavyweight Championship defense at Breakthrough into a Triple Threat.
[Mauro Ranallo] And at Final Stand Seth Rollins defeated Dean Ambrose in their Los Angeles Street Fight, yet tonight Dean was the one to emerge victorious. The stage is set for rematches to lead to redemption for the original loser of those matches...I have to think, might the same be said for Natalya?
[Corey Graves] Of course, April has reigned as champion for 10 months, and that isn't by fluke or sheer luck, so what we're looking at tonight is a seasoned champion, facing a hellbent challenger.
- . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . -
As the risk of losing to April inside Hell in a Cell becomes a real outcome, Natalya pops her shoulder off the mat, then goes one step further rolling backward as April rose up, and brings both of The Champion's arms into a double underhook!
[Mauro Ranallo] Natalya's looking for The Hart Attack 2.0!
[Corey Graves] This is the move that put away The Boss at Roulette, but does April have an answer to it?
April screams out, we can't forget that she's currently dealing with a severe arm injury and while it's not intentionally targeted...having her arm yanked forward in the angle it is right now, it's excruciating, and that's not even the worst of what's to come. She's luckily avoided this move the entire match, but The Champion's luck may have just run out. The cheers grow louder as Natalya hoists April into the air and everyone leans forward in their seats, the camera moves in closer...ARE WE ABOUT TO WITNESS THE END OF APRIL'S HISTORIC REIGN?! April tries to flail, doing everything within her power to avoid this potentially certain end...but it's no use, Natalya's got her lifted high into the air ready to ram her down into the double knees waiting below...and as she's bringing her down....A LOUD THUD ECHOES THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING, AND THE FEED CUTS!?!
[Mauro Ranallo] MAMA MIA!
[Corey Graves] WHAT THE HELL?!
As we lose sight, we stir in our seats at home, wondering what happened, and that's when we cut to another camera...and we see the most confusing outcome before us. Natalya is laid out on the canvas, April lies beside her, and in the middle of them...is a camera? Standing tall above the wreckage is a camera person, but as the boos reach a high tone, this unknown figure pulls off their hat and swings their purple hair through the air...as their identity is no longer a mystery, it's Sasha Banks! A devious smile is painted on her face as she dusts her hands off, clearly proud of herself.
[Mauro Ranallo] Does this woman have any morality left?! After all, she's done, THAT WASN'T ENOUGH?! YOU HAD TO MASQUERADE AS A CAMERAMAN AND RUIN THIS MAIN-EVENT JUST AS NATALYA WAS PERHAPS ABOUT TO BECOME WOMEN'S CHAMPION?!
[Corey Graves] And inside Hell in a Cell, there are no disqualifications..it's meant to keep everyone out, and you in...but Sasha stowed away as a cameraman, capturing this match as if she were one herself until the right moment arose to fire another painful shot at her former best friend.
The referee is beside himself as a quick replay starts, showing the action we missed from a different camera, which clearly shows the cameraman getting far too close as Natalya was about to bring April down into the lungblower, they charged forward bashing Natalya in the back of the skull with the camera, and she fell like dead weight, no doubt immediately knocked out from the blow. The highlight ends, and we at home now join the already livid crowd in damning Sasha's name for what she's done. With the arena-filling with vinegar, reeling at the heinous actions of Sasha, she looks down at her handiwork, far too satisfied with herself, then grabs April by her injured arm, yanking her forward onto her hands and knees, the champion still dazed from this match to even know what's going on until it's too late. Sasha then starts to back up into the corner...before we know it, she's aiming her fingers in the shape of a gun at the champion, then rushing forward nailing The Champion with The B-Trigger! Having knocked out both of the women in this match, Sasha finishes her "Banks Statement" by dragging April on top of Natalya, and she shouts at the referee to "do his job."
[Mauro Ranallo] Oh come on, he can't seriously count that.
[Corey Graves] There's no disqualifications, Mauro. He doesn't have a choice.
He reluctantly kneels down, morally against it...but he has a job he has to do, and unfortunately his hands are tied. His hand hovers the mat, then starts to count, gritting his teeth as Sasha arrogantly smiles...
1....
2....
3.....
[Mauro Ranallo] I am utterly appaled at the person Sasha Banks has become.
[Corey Graves] You may not like it, but this business is cutthroat. Obviously, Sasha feels like Natalya doesn't deserve to be champion, she said she wants to end her, and so in what universe would Sasha have ever let Natalya defeat April here tonight?
[Mauro Ranallo] I just don't get it, they were BEST FRIENDS, Natalya beat her in what was the match of The PPV at Roulette, why won't she just leave her alone and move on? You don't wanna be friends, okay, but do you have to ruin a rematch as big as this, out of sheer jealousy? Out of spite?
[Corey Graves] Clearly, Sasha doesn't want Natalya here anymore, and she's determined to make her life into a living hell that will make everything April once did to Nattie, looks like child's play in comparison.
Nothing but boos can be heard, April's theme doesn't sound, there's no cause for celebration, she may have retained, but it wasn't by her choice, it was because Sasha knocked her out, and forced her to beat Natalya in such a way as this...their rematch has been tainted by an outside party, and that person stands above them, admiring the fact that they ruined this "blockbuster rematch" and made Natalya's fear of history repeating itself into a bitter reality...for while Natalya was screwed, that won't be what anyone remembers, no...in Sasha's mind, all they'll remember is that she once again, FAILED to defeat April, and when she stepped back inside Hell, to face her fears, she lost. After what an incredible show we've experienced tonight, it ends on such a low note as this, having our Main-Event ruined, and The Bullet Boss gloating as if she had done something worth gloating over. She rolls her eyes and shouts "ADD ANOTHER DISAPPOINTING MOMENT TO THE LIST AS IF YOU EXPECTED ANYTHING ELSE!" She kneels down, grabbing Natalya by her jaw and screams "YOU ARE A FAILURE, AND THAT IS ALL YOU WILL EVER BE REMEMBERED AS! THE HASBEEN THAT NEVER WAS ANYTHING, TO BEGIN WITH!" The audience grows more furious by the second as Sasha leans back up and smirks, standing over the fallen bodies at her feet, she brought, even more, hell, to this cell, and we can only begin to think about what consequences her actions might have next week as the show comes to a disappointing end.
