XWL Breakdown: 1/31/14 - 2/7/14

WE'RE HERE...











The lights cut out as the Wyatt's theme starts blaring and the ominous trio struts out from the curtains.


{Jim Ross}
These men, these monsters have plagued and tormented XWL since showing up and in particularly Jeff Hardy. No matter what Jeff has done to try and counter attack them he's been thwarted by the numbers game almost every time.

{Jerry Lawler}
It's been trial after trial for Jeff but finally he has reached the end and he'll get his hands on Bray Wyatt at Uprising in a Strap match! This intense war gets to conclude and Jeff will be looking for vengeance.


Bray and his group progress further down the ramp towards the ring. Bypassing the end of the ramp they slide into the ring and stare out towards the crowd before Wyatt leans in and blows out the lantern causing the lights to turn on with the Wyatt's center ring and Bray has a mic in his hand instead of the lantern.




{Bray Wyatt}
Shhhhhhhh. Listen. Do you all hear that? THAT is the sound of the end, the sound of impending doom, the sound of Jeff Hardy begging for a second chance after I bloody and beat him down at Uprising! That day will mark the debut of myself inside that ring and it will mark the beginning of the end for all of you that are undeserving! It will start the movement that has me putting the weight of all these people that I am responsible for on my shoulder, and carrying them into this new, beautiful world! The Hardys, Ryder, they are all sin riddled and the scum of this society.....dulling the growth of our youth and leading them to a path where they easily submit to the world leader's desires. I am not a good man Jeff, but a sinner is needed to cleanse this world, a sinner who is willing to sacrifice himself and all others to save those that are worthy! My name will be the foundation of this new world, and your's will mark the end of this one.




{Bray Wyatt}
The dawning of a new age is almost here sheep, your shepherd is here to put an end to the tormenting wolf and from his fallen remains will rise the power the followers of Wyatt will need to save this world. Hardy, you have been a horrendous thorn in the side of our movement and we will all be relieved to see you plucked and tossed to the side! I am the Destroyer of Worlds! And it's this world's time to die......as this World falls into the pit of death and despair the chosen few, those who have been touched and chosen by myself and Abigail will hear a whisper in their ear, a faint muttering....the sound of my voice calling to them. They will walk, step over the bodies of the dead and undeserving as they hear my call FOLLOW THE BUZZARDS!!!!


As Bray says these words the lights cut out but instead of them disappearing which has become a custom they start to panic, and bounce around the ring from rope to rope.


{Michael Cole}
What the hell is happening?


{Jerry Lawler}
Doesn't this usually happen before they come out here? Someone's getting fired.


{Jim Ross}
That, or judging by the rumbling in the ring, I'd say it's not them.



The fans screamed out excitedly as the lights cut off, and as the arena's been cloaked in a pitch blackness for the last several seconds, the sounds have amped up. But not only that, in their blind state they begin to flash cameras all around the entire arena, not wanting to miss a single second of what's happening, the only problem is, they don't exactly know what is happening. Until the sound of static comes over the P.A, static you could almost envision coming from the "calm before the storm" point of a horror movie.




[Unknown Voice]
Let's go back....



The static picks back up through, cutting off what came next, until it fades once more.


[Unknown Voice]
From whence we came...


But the voice stops, static does not return, instead maniacal laughter ensues, only to end after erratically becoming out of control.

[Unknown Voice]
Follow The Buzzards!


The Wyatt Family have no time to respond, not a second to react, because suddenly as fog fills the stage, it's illuminated by what seems to be a purple flame burning inside of a cast iron lantern. The fans go crazy at the sight of it, knowing that this can only be the actions of one man....



{Jim Ross}
Bah gawd, look on the stage!


{Jerry Lawler}
Is that who I think it is?!


{Michael Cole}
Well if you think it's anyone else you're in need of serious help, King!



The somewhat still unknown figure stands atop the ramp, his lantern rising slowly, lighting up his face, but it's covered by a mask...a horned purple almost demon liked mask is zoomed in on, but no eyes can be seen, no mouth is spotted through the thin holes, it's a very eerie yet exciting sight.



{Jerry Lawler}
Okay now I'm even more confused!


{Jim Ross}
I think we're all there with you, King.


The entrapped purple beacon is now level with the person's head, and as quick as you can blink, the light quickly extinguishes, and The Wyatt Family become irate. Screaming from Bray is easily distinguishable through the screams from the fans, pacing around the ring from Harper and Rowan is also evident. But that pacing all of sudden comes to a dead stop a mere few seconds later. A loud thud follows, a second thud sounding not too long after the first. What's going on in there? Have they become so frustrated that they're throwing some kind of a tantrum? With silence coming from the ring itself a moment later, the lights in the building all of a sudden flash back on!




{Michael Cole}
Harper, Rowan, they're both lying at Bray's feet!


{Jim Ross}
That's not all...look behind him!



As the self professed leader of The Wyatt Family has his eyes lower to the mat, he spots his brothers in an unconscious state, confused by what's happened, but secretly knowing what did. The entire front row loses their minds as they see, and everyone else sees what Bray Wyatt does not. For behind him is that same figure that was on the stage, covered by a demonic type of mask, and arming an unstuck match in one hand, and his lantern in the other, he stands there just staring at Bray Wyatt. Wyatt losing his cool yells out "Stop hiding from me!" unbeknownst to the fact that Hardy is far from hidden, he'd be right in front of him if he just turned around. But he's given no time to, the match strikes the lantern, the sound echoing through Bray's ears but not soon enough. The lantern is lit up once more, the man turns his head, looking at a near by ring post, then quickly extinguishes the flame! Right as Bray Wyatt had become wise to it, he was once again one move behind him. The arena goes back to a darkened state, but it doesn't last long. The lights quickly turn back on, the masked figure gone. His lantern at Bray's feet, in the middle of his follows, Harper and Rowan. At Uprising Jeff Hardy and Bray Wyatt go to war, in a strap match unlike others, because in each corner, will be a lantern just like the one Bray Wyatt isn't taking his eyes off of. It's not long after that we fade away, seeing the upset Bray Wyatt kick the lantern over finally as the final sight.

The scene opens up backstage as we find none other than the famous interviewer himself, Todd Grisham. He was dressed in one of his finest suit as he had perhaps his biggest interview to date, tonight he was interviewing a new superstar, tonight he was interviewing the man that is going to lead a revelation, the long island iced z, Zack Ryder. The leader of the ryder revolution would look on at Todd Grisham with a grin on his face as he moves his hands up to his head and slides his glasses to rest on his head as Todd Grisham wastes little time and begins the interview with Zack Ryder.

Ladies and gentlemen I am being joined by everyone’s favourite wrestler, The Long Island Iced Z, Zack Ryder. Now Zack, you have just signed a contract to be a part of this company, how are you feeling right now?



★ Z A C K R Y D E R ★
Bro, you know as well as I do that I am ready for this company. I am always ready. I have been looking forward to do this for a long time. I have been hitting the gym. I have been drinking my iced tea and I have been training with the BIG O for this moment. I am going to show everyone that Strong Island is where it’s at. I am going to dive into the deep end, I am going to set my sights high, Alberto Del Rio is the man to beat and that’s the goal bro.t That’s my goal and you know that I can do it, because the people want to see it. Zack Ryder equals Ratings. And you know that bro, it is about time that I be given a chance. I am tired of being held down, it is my time to give the fans what they want and the fans want Zack Ryder. I’ve got more fans than anyone else and yet for years I was snubbed, but no more Bro. I beat whoever I face on my debut, people will realize that Zack Ryder is truly leading a revolution for the fans.

Well Zack we are all looking forward to you making your long awaited debut here and the rumour going around here that you are not here to waste time, you are here to become champion. There are many mountains to climb here, but you seem to be confident in your abilities.  This could really be your break out moment Zack, and if you ask me it is about time we see you as champion again.

Thanks bro, I know that this is going to be my moment and I am not going to let anyone stop me from achieving my goals of becoming Champion. This is my moment and I am going to seize it and take control of my career and make a name for myself by any means necessary and by my own hard work and determination. Seeing as no one else is behind me besides my fans and my friends. And that is all I need to be successful bro. And no one is going to stop me. I am going right to the top bro, I am here to show everyone that Zack Ryder is the real deal. That I am not a joke. I may goof around, but when that bell rings, bro I get serious and I am taking this seriously. I have been held back my entire career, but this a fresh start for me, this is a new company and this is a new beginning for Zack Ryder bro.

Zack Ryder suddenly stops talking as he stands there with a smirk on his face. Yet another moment passes before the interview commences once again, this time with Zack Ryder just speaking and Todd Grisham remaining silent.



★ Z A C K R Y D E R ★
Bro, I want to thank you for taking the time to interview me. This may be short, but it is sweet. I am only getting right to the point. Ryder for champion. The fans want it, the guys in the back want it and you know I want it bro. This company is full of great bro’s. There is some real talent here and they are all just a Zack attack away from falling to me. I am not doing this for me, I am doing it for the fans. I am doing for the fans who want change and you know bro, Zack Ryder is change. This company better be ready for what I am bringing, because  I am the future of this business. Woo Woo Woo, You KNOW It!

Zack Ryder and Todd Grisham engage in a fist bump before the Zack Ryder smirks and walks off the set leaving Todd Grisham standing there alone as the scene slowly fades to darkness.

Ten Minutes into the match.
Daniel Bryan is in the corner setting Sandow up for the Running Knee, when Sandow ducks out of the way.

{Michael Cole}
Oh my!!!! King I think Daniel Bryan is hurt.
{Lawler}
Yeah Cole, after Sandow ducked out of the way it looked like he come down hard.
{JR}
Bah Gwad king here it Sandows setting up for the elbow of distain.

{Lawler}
Yeah JR and it doesn’t feel good being hit by it I bet.
Sandow hits the Elbow of Distain on Bryan as we see Bryan laying on the matt lifeless almost.

{Michael Cole}
No it can’t be he can’t be doing this.
We see Sandow setting up for the You’re Welcome.
{JR}
Somebody stop him, this man’s been through enough already.
Sandow get Bryan in the Full Nelson getting ready to lift him up and slam him when bryan slips out and counters into the Yes! Lock.

{Cole}
There it is the Yes! Lock on Sandow he’s going to tap.

Sandow grabs onto the ropes as the ref counts to four on Bryan threatening to dq him if he doesn’t let up. Bryan lets up as Sandow rolls out of the ring to catch a breath. Bryan is sitting in the corner looking completely gassed as Sandow rolls back into the ring and stands up. Bryan then whips him into the corner setting up his comeback. Bryan runs and flips off of Sandows back Running to the ropes for the clothesline when Sandow ducks and hits the You’re Welcome on Bryan.

Bah Gawd that’s it Daniel Bryan’s two week win streak is over.
{Cole}
Right JR hey both fought hard and Sandow ending up pinning Bryan for the win.
We see Sandow motion for a microphone as he begins to speak.
{Damien Sandow}
What did I tell you all? I told you anyone who steps in my path would get hurt and look, Daniel Bryan is laying here hurt because of me.
Now this goes out to Kurt Angle, you think you deserve a U.S or Intercontinental Tile shot? Tell you what, face me at Uprising and the winner gets a shot at either the U.S or the Intercontinental Championship. Oh and by the way, YOU’RE WELCOME!!!!!!!
We see Sandow lying over Daniel Bryans body as he smiles and laughs.

{Michael Cole}
There it is folks; Sandow has just challenged Kurt Angle to a match at Uprising!!!!!
{Lawler}
Yeah Cole, I wonder if he will accept?!?!
{JR}
If he does he better be careful Damien Sandow is a dangerous man!!!

Breakdown returns from a commercial break to the sound of a familiar theme.





The former bare knuckle champion and former XWL World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett appears on the stage to a welcome of boos of jeers.  His obvious swagger is unaffected by the hatred as he takes center stage at the top of the ramp with mic in hand.



[Wade Barrett]
Ladies and gentlemen, can I have some decorum please?

This riles the XWL Universe and causes them to boo even louder.



[Wade Barrett]
Tonight, XWL Breakdown is live in Detroit, Michigan.  A city notorious for having one of the highest homicide rates in the United States Of America.  They call Detroit "Murder City"...  And looking around at all of you clearly incensed with hatred just by my mere presence, it's obvious to me the reason why.  You simply can't stand the fact that someone else is in a better standing in society than you are.  I can tell by looking in your eyes that you are all envious of me and my lavish lifestyle and you would do anything - even straying outside the confines of the law and morality - to wipe the smirk off my face just to make yourselves feel better about your mediocre lives.  I bet that a lot of you are already planning my downfall after I leave the arena tonight after I have exposed you for what you truly are: A bunch of jealous psychopaths.

Again the crowd goes ballistic.  Rage fills the arena as Barrett chuckles to himself.



[Wade Barrett]
But I'm afraid I've got some bad news!  I won't meet my end in a cesspit like Detroit at the hands of some overweight Yank.  No, when my time comes I'll go out in style in the greatest country in the world... The United Kingdom!  And for anyone still planning to meet me out the back later on, trust me, you don't know what you're getting yourself into.  So please, allow me to demonstrate first hand what I am capable of.



[Wade Barrett]
You see, for a reason that completely eludes me, I was overlooked when tonight's card was thrown together.  But like the true competitor that I am, I went out scouring this pathetic city for some competition and I came up with the goods.  So tonight I will be facing one of Detroit's finest...

The crowd pops in a big way.  Who could it be?  Alex Shelley?  Chris Sabin?  Kevin Nash?



[Wade Barrett]
The man I am about to face has blistering speed, unrivaled technical ability and has great heart and guts to rival the best of them.  But once I make short work of him right here, right now, in his hometown in front of his family and friends, there will be no doubt in anybody's mind that the Barrett Barrage has resumed...





Barrett's music hits again as he smirks, looking around at the thousands of fans who are chanting "Motor City" and performing the Motor City Machineguns hand motion in anticipation of seeing one of their heroes.  Could Alex Shelley be making his return from his travels in Japan?  Barrett begins his descent down the entrance way with his gameface on.

[Justin Roberts]
The following contest is scheduled for one fall!  Making his way to the ring, from Preston, England... weighing in at 246 lb... Wade Barrett!

Barrett is now in the ring, which is like an island among the masses of fans whom are clearly electrified by Barrett's promise of one of their hometown heroes making a splash in just a few short moments.  So much so that they have temporarily forgotten that they need to be booing the villainous Brit.



Barrett removes his shirt and throws a few hooks and jabs, warming up for his opponent.  He focuses a steely gaze at the top of the entrance ramp as he continues throwing rights, lefts and elbows.

IT IS!  The crowd goes into a frenzy as the theme of The Motor City Machineguns hits!  This is as loud as they've been all night long!

From Detroit, Michigan... weighing in at 112 lb...

...The Amazing Mikey!

What?  What the hell?!?  The crowd goes absolutely ballistic as a generic looking local talent appears wearing a leopard skin singlet and a ridiculous looking copter-cap.  All the excitement has been sucked out of the arena in a heartbeat.  There is a stunned silence as Barrett bursts into hysterical laughter, looking around at the clearly disappointed XWL Universe, pointing at laughing at them as though he has pulled off the greatest prank ever.  Barrett is loving every moment of this.  The nervous-looking jobber makes his way slowly towards the ring clearly in no fit state of mind or physique to be challenging someone as impressive as Barrett.  He finally musters up the courage to step into the ring as a deafening chorus of "Barrett sucks!" and a roar of boos engulfs the arena, only broken up briefly by the sound of the ring bell as the referee gets this one underway.

Once again, Barrett's theme fills the air as he picks up an easy victory.  The local had no chance from the get-go and there was only ever going to be one outcome.  His pride crushed, along with his body, nobody would be surprised if this young man never wrestled again.

[Justin Roberts]
The winner of this bout... Wade Barrett!

Barrett's arm is raised in victory and he seems content with his victory, almost proud, despite the result being an obvious one.



Barrett takes a look around at the thousands of pairs of anger-filled eyes of the audience before beckoning for a microphone.



[Wade Barrett]
Domination... aggression... focus.  Three things I have lacked ever since winning the World Heavyweight Championship two years ago.  But as of this moment, I have regained all three of those attributes.  It seems like a lifetime since I was standing here after such a dominant display... and while this pathetic excuse of an opponent was no match for me, I don't think I need to explain to all of you half-wits that the Wade Barrett of old is back.



[Wade Barrett]
And trust me... I will not stop... and I will not rest... until I am back on top of this industry where I belong.



Barrett smirks into the camera, satisfied with the display he put on and the  message he delivered here tonight as the screen once again fades to black for a commercial break.

Breakdown shifts to the backstage area where one half of D-Generation X, "The Game" Triple H is shown.  



The Cerebral Assassin is in his ring gear and wearing one of his t-shirts - not a DX one for a change - and appears to be completely focused and prepared for his big match against CM Punk later on in the night.  The camera pans outward to reveal Todd Grisham standing by with a mic in hand, ready to conduct yet another interview on what has been a busy night for him.



[Todd Grisham]
Triple H... tonight you go one-on-one against the self-proclaimed "best in the world" CM Punk just days away from when your best friend and partner faces off against another man claiming that title Chris Jericho.  There's been a lot of conflict between Jericho and DX over the weeks and it's quickly escalated into one of XWL's most personal rivalries so far this year.  You will of course be in Shawn's corner for the match at Uprising, but do you have any doubts over his ability to get the job done?



[Triple H]
Doubts?  If there's one thing I've learned over the years Todd, it's to never doubt Shawn Michaels.  People doubted he'd ever make it in this industry, that he'd ever amount to anything because of his size.  Look what happened.  People doubted he would ever be World Champion.  Look what happened.  People doubted he'd ever wrestle again after he broke his back.  Look what happened.  And people doubted, that Shawn would ever reach the high standards he set himself again when he started hanging out with misfits and making creepy sitcoms... and look what happened.  Shawn proves the doubters wrong time and time again, so I've learned never to doubt him in any circumstances.



[Triple H]
Will it be difficult for Shawn to beat Jericho at Uprising?  Sure it will.  I mean here you have two of the very best in this industry going toe-to-toe with one another live on pay-per-view in arguably as good shape as they've ever been.  Something's got to give.  But I think the main thing Shawn has in his favour is that he's not a coward.  He doesn't need to use underhanded tactics to gain an advantage and he doesn't have this self-righteous god-complex that Jericho has.  It's sure to be one hell of a match-up but hopefully one where Jericho has the living daylights beaten out of him for what he's done to Shawn and I over the past month or so.


[Triple H]
Jericho, if you're watching this, I hope you know what you've gotten yourself into by getting involved with DX.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, DX is evergreen... it can't grow old... it cannot die.  You're just one man Jericho and one man can't put a stop to the DX Army.  Whatever the outcome at Uprising you can bet your ass that when all is said and done that it'll be you that's left worse off than when you stuck your nose where it didn't belong.  And if you think I'm blowing smoke... if you think this is all talk... well you know the two words...

Triple H walks away all fired up as Breakdown again fades to a commercial break.

Welcome back to Breakdown folks! We’re still in the early stages of the program yet we’ve already seen a stellar match between Bobby Roode and Mr. Anderson and plenty of drama involving Jack Swagger that has only gotten me even more hyped up for Uprising.

Michael Cole
This Bobby Roode guy is going to be something special, the way he always tells it how it is and doesn’t care whose feelings he hurts… he does CM Punk better than Punk does!

Jerry Lawler
I doubt Punk feels the same way and I personally cannot wait to see him shut that kid up.

Jim Ross
I’m right there with you, King. These kids are always looking for the quick path to success instead of wanting to earn it through hard work, grit and determination, the way things were done back in the old days.

Michael Cole
To heck with the old days, this is how things are done now. If Punk doesn’t want to pass the torch then he’ll get the job done and beat Roode this Sunday.

Jerry Lawler
I remember when you were one of Punk’s biggest supporters and now you’re acting like he’s the worst to ever lace up a pair of boots.

Jim Ross
When Miz left a piece of Cole left with him and he’s been trying desperately to find another wrestler to fill that void ever since.

Michael Cole
Yeah so what if I used to be Punk’s biggest fan? That was before he changed into the softy he is now, and my opinion of him changed to.

Jerry Lawler
You are just the worst, Cole. I don’t know what possible redeeming qualities you could have that makes this company still have you employed.

Jim Ross
Don’t forget that this is the Voice of XWL we’re dealing with, King. Without him there’d be no Breakdown so it would be in our best interest to thank him for our jobs.

Michael Cole
You’re damn right I’m the reason these people don’t have their TVs muted right now.

Jerry Lawler
Your unbiased and objective commentating is truly the pinnacle of this profession, that’s for sure.

Could it be?

Oh no… say it isn’t so!

Jerry Lawler
It is so, King! He’s back!

There’s a loud pop from the crowd as the entrance music of their hometown hero blasts through the speakers. Seconds pass and the anticipation grows exponentially with all eyes in the arena glued onto the stage.



Finally Alex Shelley steps through the curtains and if you were in that arena you wouldn’t even be able to hear yourself think; no doubt the folks at home had to turn the volume down because the roar of the crowd has reached near deafening levels.



After nearly a month of not being seen on XWL television, Shelley has returned and everyone except Michael Cole is ecstatic. Shelley has a big grin on his face and after basking in the warmth of this reception for a few moments, he starts making his way down the ramp.



Slapping high-fives and exchanging pleasantries all the way ramp, Shelley hasn’t missed a beat and genuinely looks happy to be back. He enters the rings – grabbing the microphone resting on the steel stairs on his way in – climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and that’s where he points to his palm, a gesture nearly everyone in the arena mimics. When the music cuts off, all that can be heard now are the chants of “Alex Shel-ley” fused with the competing chants of “Wel-come back!”

I missed you!



Another round of chants and cheers break out before Shelley can get another sentence out.

-Alex Shelley-
I missed those cheers, I missed standing in this ring, but more important that any of that, I missed you, Michael Cole. I’m sure you had nothing but good things to say about me being here, and believe me, the feeling’s mutual, pal. Better yet, maybe you’re sitting there right now in a shocked silence, completely in awe that the man you’ve been a closet fan of for decades has made his glorious return and I wouldn’t blame you one bit. You see, I wasn’t planning on cutting my overseas fun in Japan short, but when I caught wind through the grapevine that these great folks in XWL were finally bringing a Breakdown to this fine city of Detroit, I knew that I had to be here, in person, to thank the fans that were there from the beginning until now, because this is where it all started for me.

When I was a little kid, video games and punk rock were all I knew until somewhere down the line I discovered a love for wrestling that I still have to this day because even though things don’t always go according to plan and even though it hurts like hell just rolling out of bed in the morning and even though I can’t use a public restroom without being asked for a picture, it’s all worth it because I’m living my dream right now. From the beginning I’ve worked my ass off to not be one of the best, but the very best and every year I get a little closer to that goal. I came up short against Shawn Michaels at Xtreme Xmas, which means I don’t have a title to defend at Final Stand but I guess that’s all for the best because when I did last year, the American Wolves were nowhere to be seen anyway.



-Alex Shelley-
At the Final Stand before that it was me finally getting the monkey known as Kurt Angle off of my back, and it’s great to know that he’s still as bitter and bald now as he was back then. Who knows what’ll happen this year? The possibilities are endless; I could call up my old friend AJ Styles and see how he’s doing, Kenny King is still alive and kicking but then again, the last time we got in the ring together he saw how huge the talent gap was between us, gave up on life and now a bald, Swiss guy is the champion of America, one who will no doubt make us proud. Perhaps I won’t rekindle any old rivalries and instead prove my worth so that when it’s time to announce who will be competing in the Money in the Bank Ladder match this year, my name is on the top of that list. I may have been gone for awhile, but I’ve learned a few things. Believe me, you don’t make a name for yourself in Japan, by mailing it in. When you’re over there you find yourself competing with the best this business has to offer which means you have to be at the top of your game at all times. Not only that but—



Jim Ross
What? John Morrison?! But what is he doing out here?

Jerry Lawler
He has no business coming out here, interrupting Shelley in his own hometown.

Michael Cole
Finally, the true savior is here to save the day. To be quite honest, there's nothing appealing about Alex Shelley and now that John Morrison is here, I won't have to worry about dying from boredom.

John Morrison steps out from the back to a chorus of boos from the Detroit fans as they are unhappy with him interrupting the hometown hero's speech.



Morrison starts to strut down the ramp with much confidence as fans hold out their hands from each side of the barricade but he doesn't pay the fans any attention. The Shaman of Sexy walks towards the timekeeper's area where he retrieves a microphone and makes his way to the steel steps with Shelley keeping an eye on him with each step he takes. John finally enters the ring and approaches Shelley, sizing him up. John holds the microphone up to his mouth and attempts to speak but the crowd boos amplify, causing him to gesture for the fans to simmer down. The former Intercontinental Champion takes a step back and begins to speak despite the jeers...



[John Morrison]
Shall we celebrate with some champagne again? Good times Shelley, wasn't it? So if my thoughts are correct, which they are, you couldn't make it far in Japan, you couldn't win the crowd over, couldn't become the next Ultimo Dragon or Tajiri or The Great Muta, you couldn't make it to the top just like you couldn't here in XWL and here you are, back at square one. Are we supposed to be celebrating this grand return? Hmm... I think not Alex. But you want to know what I don't understand...it's that these fans still cheer you despite the fact that you've turned your backs on them. If you really loved your fans, you wouldn't have quit on MCMG so easily because you guys were stuck in the same place for several years. If you loved them, you wouldn't have been so quick to hop on a plane to Japan to try and find some success, but it's not like they'll see it that way. They obviously don't know what's good for business. Anyways, why exactly are you here Shelley? You've shown that you aren't content with being mediocre and that you aren't improving anytime soon, why come back? Are you trying to take all the attention that I've been getting away from me? Is it because you can't sleep at night knowing Shawn Michaels beat you? Or is it because you still can't cope with the fact that you'll never be World Heavyweight Championship material?

Hey John, it’s good to see you in the flesh looking better than ever before! My trip in Japan went well by the way, thanks for asking, I took some pics if you want to take a look. No? That’s cool. Well, I also learned a few new tricks and I can’t wait to get back into the ring to show them off. Hey, maybe I’ll use them on you. You see, I’m happy that somewhere along the way you learned what Google was so you’d look cool when you name-drop greats like The Great Muta when Lord Tensai was the extent of your Japanese wrestling knowledge before, but you’re mistaken in thinking I “ran away” to Japan, when in fact I just went there to enjoy the sights and sounds while putting on a wrestling clinic when the situation called for it. Considering that you’ll never be good enough to get called over there, take my word for it, wrestling in Japan is a great experience.

The food is delicious, the anime is entertaining and it’s true what they say about Asian women… very smart. But even better than that, there were no signs of Batista anywhere, so you could Honeymoon there no problem. You were right about one thing though, I am back to get the spotlight on me, and if it means taking it from you then so be it. Sure things kind of ended on a sour note with the loss to HBK and all but here’s the funny thing Morrison: no matter how hard you try to be…. You’re just not Shawn Michaels. You tried to be as flamboyant as he was, you tried to hold the Intercontinental Championship as long as he did, tried to be World Champion the same way he was, tried to form a revolutionary tag team like he has, yet each and every time you fall short. And if you really think you are Michaels, then him beating me was as close as you’d get to the real thing because you’d never get the job done if you were in his shoes.

Morrison raises the microphone to speak but Shelley knocks it out of his hands and angrily Morrison gets into his face ready to knock Shelley’s lights out and the crowd is 100% behind their hometown hero. After a couple of seconds, Shelley backs away and raises his own microphone back up to him mouth.

Look Morrison, I know you’ve probably been dying to get your hands on me for quite some time and believe me, I’ve been itching to kick your teeth down your throat since we were both champions at the same time, battling to get everyone’s attention, and maybe there’ll come a time when we both get what we want, but that won’t be tonight. I came back tonight to give these people something to cheer for after The Awesome Mikey failed to live up to his name, not to get into a pissing match with some dude who’s angry at the world because he forgot the recipe for lemonade when life gave him lemons. Take care, man, and -this could just be wishful thinking on my part- but hopefully the next time we meet you'd have done something about that stick in your ass.

Shelley exits the ring, but Morrison is clearly rearing to go, beckoning Shelley to get back into the ring so that he can put his money where his mouth his. Shelley responds saying he left his wallet in his other pants, before turning and heading backstage. Alone in the ring, Morrison is still yelling angrily but any sound he makes is effectively drowned out by the crowd who chant “Alex Shelley” over and over again, delighted that he has made his return. Breakdown fades to a highlight package, leaving the question of “What does the future hold in store for this two former champions?” up in the air.

XWL's Breakdown heads backstage where we see none other than Brie and Nikki Bella, The Bella Twins, standing by with Tom Phillips.



[Tom Phillips]: Ladies and gentlemen, my guests at this time, Brie and Nikki, The Bella Twins. Nikki...Brie... thanks for joining me. How are you ladies?

[Brie Bella]: Feeling great Tom, glad to be here.

[Nikki Bella]: The feeling is mutual.

[Tom Phillips]: Alright, ladies. Nikki, you don't have a match tonight however Brie, you're scheduled to compete in a big Divas Tag Team Match later on tonight. Ironically, you happen to be in a match with three of your biggest rivals  in this company as you team with the Divas Champion, Layla, to take on Paige and Kaitlyn. Can I get your thoughts on each lady?



[Brie Bella]: I wouldn't say they're rivals anymore but you're right, they are my three biggest rivals in this company. I'll start with Paige and Kaitlyn, who happen to be going against each other for a chance to face Layla at Final Stand. Paige and I were involved in a big feud last year, along with Layla and Paige, which won us the Diva Feud of the Year. I won't say sorry for the things I've done neither do I expect any apologies for the things that The United Queendom did however, I think that feud allowed all of us to grow better as individuals. Paige is a young, fresh and incredible competitor, it'd be cool to see Layla versus Paige at Final Stand. Then there's Kaitlyn, the diva who took the Divas Championship from me. I don't harbor any ill feelings towards her. She just made me even more determined to regain the Divas Championship. Kaitlyn is a pretty tough competitor and arguably had the greatest reign as Divas Champion. I'm sure the fans would love to see Layla versus Kaitlyn to see who really is the better of the two.

Nikki Bella cuts Brie off before she can continue...





[Nikki Bella]: I wouldn't want to see that, let's be honest.

[Brie Bella]: Anyways Tom, before I was interrupted... last but not least, there's Layla. Although we've had our many rough patches, it's hard to deny that she really is one of the faces of this division and a great champion. Hopefully, I'll be able to get the win for my team.

[Tom Phillips]: Hopefully you can Bri...

Nikki Bella puts her hand up, gesturing for Tom to stop talking, and directs her attention towards Brie...





[Nikki Bella]: Great champion?! You've got to be kidding me.

[Brie Bella]:: I'm pretty sure I know what I said...

[Nikki Bella]: I'm pretty sure you don't because if you did know, you wouldn't have said it in the first place. Layla is far from a great champion. A great champion doesn't steal wins, they win fairly. It's obvious that I did the dirty work last week only for Layla to throw me out the ring and pin Natalya.

[Brie Bella]: What do you expect Nikki? It's a triple threat match, every woman for themselves. What if the title was on the line?

[Nikki Bella]: But it wasn't Brie. Don't sit here and defend her, you're supposed to agree with me before you agree with her.



[Brie Bella]:: But I'm my own person Nikki, I can have my own opinion. I don't think what she did was wrong, get over it, it's not like she pinned you.

[Nikki Bella]: What has she done to you? Where is my sister? Because she certainly isn't the one talking to me right now. It's pathetic how you're here standing up for what she did. Ever heard of the saying "Blood is thicker than water?"

[Brie Bella]: Yes I have. Ever heard of the saying "Don't cry over spilled milk?" Well...

[Nikki Bella]: Well...

[Layla]
Well then, looks like I'm interrupting something, should I give you two a moment, or is everything okay here?

The sound of Layla's voice instantly makes Nikki's attention shift to her, she gives The Divas Champion the old "evil eye" while her twin counterpart seems delighted that she showed up when she did. Be it not wanting to get into an argument with her sister, or the fact that she and Layla have been on good terms lately, Brie greets Layla with a quick turn of the head and a reassuring smile.

[Nikki Bella]: Hmm, take a guess Layla. You said it yourself, "looks like I'm interrupting something"...it's very rude to interrupt people, isn't it?

[Brie Bella]: Don't mind her, she's just being a sore loser.

[Nikki Bella]: Loser? Far from that. Do you need something Layla?

[Layla]
Forgive me if I upset you Nikki, that was not at all my intention.

With her arms crossed, Nikki bites her tongue, ready to spout off some sort of remark, but Layla continues before she can.

[Layla]
I just wanted to have a minute with Brie, but you're welcome to stick around. Oh and before I forget, that was a great match last week, Nikki. I know we've had our issues in the past, but if it means anything at all I think you've really become something ever since your return.

[Nikki Bella]:  Ever since my return? Please. I've pretty much always been the best but obviously your ego couldn't allow you to see that. I'd like it if you came back a couple of minutes later so Brie and I can finish our conversation.

Layla looks like she's about to walk off but Brie puts a hand on her shoulder and begins to speak..

[Brie Bella]: No Layla, stay. She did ask to have a word with me, not you Nikki. I can speak for myself.

[Layla]
There's no reason we can't all get along, right?

Nikki rolls her eyes, not at all interested.

[Layla]
Tonight it's Brie Bella, and Layla...two members from opposing teams in the Diva Feud Of The Year, teaming up against Kaitlyn and Paige, my two best friends, the woman that Brie had such a long storied rivalry with this time last year, and my former United Queendom teammate. That's ridiculous, it's crazy, but it shows how things change, you move past issues, you form friendships you never expected to form, and you have opponents that on paper it probably wasn't a great idea to have paired up, yet will probably be the best of friends afterwards....hopefully...I mean, maybe....not like I'm hoping for that or anything, just a thought is all. Anything can happen as we've said, right? But enough about that, I just want to say I'm really glad you're my partner tonight Brie.

[Brie Bella]: I'm actually glad that to two of us get to team up and this time, we're actually on the same page. There are no grudges, no hidden agendas, just you and I side-by-side and who knows the potential we have as a team? You and I could be the female version of DX...with a lot less crude gestures but you get my point. Anyways, I know Kaitlyn and Paige are your two best friends and it's gonna be hard to leave Uprising without feelings being hurt but you got this, I know you'll call it down the middle.

Nikki Bella squints her eyes at her twin sister after her comments towards Layla and looks rather disgusted...

[Nikki Bella]: Hellooooo Brie... didn't she cost you the Divas Championship that you worked so hard to get? Don't be hypocritical.

[Brie Bella]: Nikki, I've forgotten about that match and to be honest, I lost fairly. Anyways Layla, let's go out there and have a great match.

[Layla]
I know we will, see you out there girl, bye Nikki don't forget to root for us!

Brie Bella and Layla share a hug before Layla walks off to prepare for her match. Right as Brie is about to walk off, Nikki stops her in her tracks and begins to speak...

[Nikki Bella]: I don't know what you think you're doing Brianna, first you become friends with Layla and now you're best friends. Are you guys going to start traveling together too?

[Brie Bella]: We might just have to.

[Nikki Bella]: Well as long as Layla's around, then I won't be around. Count me out.

[Brie Bella]: Would you just grow up already?

[Nikki Bella]: I'm sorry I'm sticking to my word, some people don't know how to apparently.

[Brie Bella]: It's called moving on. I have a match to prepare for so we can continue this at another time.

With that, Brie walks away from Nikki as Nikki shouts at her sister that she isn't done talking but Brie continues to walk. The last picture we see is Nikki Bella standing alone, with an unpleasant look, as we head to the next segment...

As Breakdown continues Renee Young is on camera backstage as she chases down Randy Orton in the parking lot trying to get a word with him as he puts his luggage in the trunk of his car

Renee Young: Excuse me, Randy, if I could just get a few words on what went down earlier tonight?

Orton turns to Renee with the look is frustration over his face clearly not happy with something as he responds to the question



Randy Orton: Oh that's just right isn't it, everybody wants to know why, why did I hit Roman Reigns with the RKO? Well Renee, the answer is pretty simple, see last week Roman Reigns attacked me when I was minding my own business then hit me with a Spear backstage, but nobody wants to know why Roman did that did they? But me? Of course I can't do things without being questioned at every step of the way. The truth is I don't need to answer that, why should I have to tell you why I did anything? Roman backed me into a corner and he got bit, and come next week I'm going to put him back in his place. If he thinks he can simply walk all over me then he couldn't be more wrong. I'm not here to have some young up-start show me up and take me out. If he wants this to be No Holds Bared then that's exactly what he's going to get, he's going to be stepping in the ring with Randy Orton and trust me that does not bode well for him. He wants trial by fire? I am the fire, I am The Viper and I will not be defeated come Uprising. What Roman Reigns needs to understand is he's going to be stepping into the ring with the most dangerous man in XWL today, and one thing that he isn't ready for is what I have in store for him.



Randy Orton: And he's got nobody to blame for this but himself, and when I'm done with him he'll know that he started something that he doesn't have the guts to finish. I am the Apex Predator, and I don't take kindly to threats, if Roman Reigns wants to take me out then go ahead and try, he won't be the first one who has, and I'm sure he won't be the last, but he's going to find out the hard way that he's bitten off something he won't be able to chew. He needs to keep his eyes focused on me, there's no use in fixating on Dean Ambrose or any other man, because you'll never know when I'm going to strike next. At Uprising we find out that Roman Reigns is just another pretender to my throne. I'm not going to settle for second best, not now and not ever.



Randy Orton: Talk about the Shield, talk about Alberto Del Rio, talk about Curtis Axel all you want but you know just as I do, that I could beat all of them on any day of the week and there's only one man he needs to be thinking about and it's me and I proved that earlier tonight when I hit him with an RKO, and trust me there's a lot more where that came from. When we come face to face next week Roman should make sure he's prepared for the worst because he's stepping into the ring with the very best of Randy Orton and that means he's only just one second away from another RKO and it will over for him.

Having said all that he wanted too, Orton closes the trunk of his car and walks over to the drivers door, entering his vehicle as Renee interjects

Renee Young: But you can't deny Roman has been on an impressive roll lately, surely you can't count him out, he's been on quite the tear as of late.

Randy Orton: You know what, you're right Renee he has been impressive lately, the only problem is he just hasn't been impressive enough to beat me. Now if you'll excuse me I have places to be.

Randy promptly closes the driver door to his car and drives off leaving Renee Young standing alone in the Parking lot

Renee Young: Well that was Randy Orton with some very stern words for his opponent next week Roman Reigns now back to you at ringside.

As Young finishes speaking the camera fades out to end the segment

With Breakdown continuing the cameras are rolling backstage as Josh Matthews is stood by in the interview area



Josh Matthews: Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome the current United States champion, Antonio Cesaro.

Upon introducing his guest, Antonio Cesaro walks into camera shot as the fans in the arena are heard booing him from a distance and the United States champion stands tall smirking to himself as he waits Josh to ask his first question of the interview

Josh Matthews: Now Antonio, next week at Uprising you find out just who you will be facing for your United States champion at Final Stand it will be either John Cena or Prince Devitt, both men have valid claims to the position of number one contender for your championship, do you have any preferences to who you will be facing for your championship?

With the question asked Cesaro looks bemused, clearly finding what Josh had to say humorous as his figuratively wipes the smile off his face before responding to his question



Josh, please. Do you know who you are talking too? I am Antonio Cesaro, who I face at Final Stand for MY United States championship is none of my concern who should be concerned is whoever emerges victorious next week because they are going up against the greatest champion in XWL today, the pound for pound strongest man to of ever stepped into the ring, your very own Swiss Superhero, I, Antonio Cesaro. However with that said I will be paying very close attention next week, so to both John Cena and Prince Devitt may the best man win and that of course is me. Now with that put aside I have something much more pressing to talk about.

Josh Matthews: And that of course being your big match tonight against the Intercontinental champion, the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. The two of you have an ever growing history most recently a few weeks ago you defeated Shawn's DX teammate Triple H to regain your United States championship just a few weeks after you defeated Shawn Michaels in one on one competition, what are your thoughts going into yet another chapter in your two's ever growing history in this battle of champions?

Shawn Michaels? Josh, how many times have I faced that over aged reject desperately hanging onto his long gone glory days? More times then I care to count, and I have defeated him every single time, so why would you think this time would be any different? Whether it's Shawn Michaels or Triple H, D-Generation X are so match for me, I have proven it over and over again and tonight will be no different. So for Shawn Michaels, I have just two words for him, and nothing more.

As Cesaro speaks briefly in latin the boos from the crows become audible once again however this doesn't hinder Cesaro as he continues speaking to Josh Matthews

But yet that is not what I had to talk about. See Josh, for months and months now I have told the entire world that I, Antoino Cesaro is going to change America and mould it in my image and that is exactly what I have been doing, just take a look around and while it is taking much longer than it should, with a proud champion the United States of America is slowly become the great nation that it once was and it has me to thank for that, and that's why I am declaring that in two weeks time it is going to be Cesaro appreciation week in my honour, because like the champion that I am even though my fans all around the world will no doubt be devastated that I will be be defending my championship, I will not let their disappointment go unheard, and my loyal fans can rejoice in the knowledge that their champion has been listening to them and I would like you to know that I invite them all to tune on on the next edition of Breakdown to witness this historic event, a celebration for the ages.

Cesaro pauses for a brief moment before he starts speaking in some of his various languages as the crowd start booing him once again

Pausing for a second or two Antonio clears his throat before he says one more word as he puts his right arm over his heart as he says it

I'm surprised at how well Paige and Kaitlyn have gotten along in the ring tonight, maybe teaming them up has eased Layla's nerves. She's been so worried about her two closest friends having bad blood for one another.


[Michael Cole]
Of course if you bring that up she'll tell you off as we saw when Al- wait a second...speak of the devil there she is!



The fans start to react differently as Kaitlyn measures Brie for a spear, Paige notices the sudden change in disposition, and turns around...seeing what everyone else sees.





Standing on top of the stage is Alicia Fox, seemingly getting a closer look at the action, but someone thinks otherwise and that someone is the woman that's dealt with Alicia more than any other person in the last year, Paige. She hops off the apron immediately to tend with the issue, Kaitlyn sees Paige hop off confused, perhaps too focused on Brie to see Alicia standing on the stage...thinking she's being ditched she looks over to Layla and says "That's some friend you got there" then goes to spear Brie just as she planned...but it's given Brie time to kick her foot out nailing Kaitlyn right in the gut just as she approached Brie, then she's planted with a Bella Buster! Layla looks on confused by what's going on, until she sees Alicia herself, and she looks puzzled by her presence.

Paige turn around, your partners about to be pinned! Alicia's not doing anything, turn around!

I don't know what just happened, why Alicia decided now to come out to watch the match, why Paige reacted the way she did, why Kaitlyn didn't see Alicia, but Brie Bella has just pinned the woman that just this time last year had her number more than anyone!







Brie's theme sounds and the fans cheer, though confused themselves by the events that lead to the end, Brie didn't seem to notice what went down herself, so she seems overjoyed at the victory, as soon as Layla steps into the ring Brie pulls her in for a huge hug, excited for their victory together. Layla is a bit hesitant, but while she isn't sure why things happened the way they did, they are the winners and she's not going to ruin this moment for her new budding friend. Paige turns around realizing what just happened, frustrated that she took her eye off the ball for one second and it cost her team the victory. While Alicia is on the stage applauding Layla and Brie, but it's not in an arrogant way she seems genuinely happy for them. Almost like she just wanted to enjoy the action up close instead of watching backstage, though her timing did seem to spell the end of a close match. Layla's given her title by the time keeper, she looks down at the fallen Kaitlyn, looks to the ramp at the upset Paige, then at her title...someone's leaving next week with the rights to challenge her at Final Stand, the question is will tonight effect the number one contenders match, only one woman will bounce back from this defeat, and Layla's going to be the one that ultimately decides that.

Breakdown comes back from a quick advertisement for XWL Uprising next week, into a shot of XWL Diva Alicia Fox, who's made a rather large impact already tonight, slapping Layla and costing Paige and Kaitlyn their tag match against Layla and Brie of the Bella Twins. Alicia smiles softly towards the camera as it reveals that she's removed her contact lenses, donning a pair of glasses.



[Interviewer]
Alicia, everyone wants to know what just happened out there with you and Paige. What was it about?

Alicia looks down with a smirk, giggling softly before looking back up, smirk clear on her features.

[Alicia Fox]
Well...it's no secret that me and Paige? We aren't friends. This whole thing between me and her? It's been brewin' for over a year. At Final Stand V, it was me, her, and Kaitlyn in a Triple Threat Match for the Divas Championship. Back when I only cared about myself, back when I was so...stuck-up, so...b-to-the-hy, that Paige was the main target, not the title. But that's changed. I'm a new Foxy. Me going out there? That, dear interviewer, was simply to scout the XWL Divas Champion, "Little Miss Perfect" Layla El while she faced her supposed "top two" contenders. Pfft. I beat both of them, no, scratch that, I...dominated...both of them. Kaitlyn? Beat her in my first match back in nearly a year. Paige? Just beat her last week. Brie? Eventually, she'll fall too. Then there's little Layla...who I can't wait to face in that ring.

Alicia's eyebrows raise slightly, the smirk growing larger on her face as she thinks of how she feels a match between her and Layla El would go inside of an XWL ring.



[Alicia Fox]
If dear ol' Paigy-poo thinks that me going out there was to try and start some stuff with her or Kaity Kaboom...she's wrong, dead wrong. I watched that match...I watched Kaitlyn and Paige dominate both Brie and the Divas Champ. But, since I dominated both Kaitlyn and Paige, shouldn't that tell y'somethin'? Hm? Because it speaks clear to me that Layla is doomed come Final Stand. I told her earlier that I'd cash in on her? Well...looking at how Paige and Kaitlyn kicked the snot out of her and Brie, I doubt she'll make it past either of them at Final Stand. And whoever comes out on top, I don't care if it's her, Kaitlyn, or Paige...I will have gotten into Miss Money In The Bank, I'll beat those three other divas senseless to grab that case. Then...we'll see who the "top contender"...really is.

Alicia winks playfully towards the camera before pointing towards her chest with both thumbs, mouthing "It's me."

'Til then...stay foxy, ladies. Because you never know when that case-holder can strike...and this Fox is as sly and smart as the rest.

The second the music hits the arena, the crowd goes wild as the duo of Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian strut out on to the stage.

After five long years, the day has finally come, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, Bad Influence are together, live on XWL Breakdown. I think I'm going to cry..

Jerry 'The King' Lawler
I think I am too Cole, but for completely different reasons. I've seen nothing but trouble come from these two, and  I don't think it'll be different this time around.

Jim Ross
Now hush, both of you. These men haven't even made their way into the ring yet and you're already judging them. Give them a chance to speak.

The crowd are deafening as they cheer for Bad Influence who have now made their way down to the ring. Daniels jumps up onto the apron while Kazarian walks around the ring to the steel steps, climbing them before sliding through the middle and top ropes. Daniels walks around the ring before coming to a stop, splitting his legs appart, he lowers himself down and holds his arms out, striking the pose made famous by the heartbreak kid, as Kazarian stand behind him with a huge grin on his face.



With their music coming to a halt, the crowd are cheering furiously while Daniels heads over to the corner of a ring where he grabs a microphone from a member of the staff and instantly raises it up to his lips.

Can you pleaseeee shut the hell up!

The crowd are in shock from Daniels' abrupt outburst and don't quite know how to react.

Don't worry ladies, you'll have your opportunity to worship us after the men are done talking.

As I'm sure you all know, I'm not usually the one to come out to the ring and toot my own horn, but this week, just for you, I'm going to make an exception, because frankly, it needs to be said. You're all going to be a part of history tonight as you experience one of the most anticipated moments in recent history... In fact, it may just be the most anticipated moment over the entire life span of this company, as the two most athletic, talented, charismatic, and downright sexiest men on television today! The Fallen Angel, Christopher Daniels and the Coolest Man in Wrestling, Frankie Kazarian are here on Breakdown!

The crowd are booing even louder now, but Daniels doesn't acknowledge it.

Now, I know what you're thinking, that's great! But it's not exactly ground breaking, it isn't worthy of the title, because let's not beat around the bush, you've seen both of these dashing faces here before... But what you've never seen, and what you're about to see is those two incredible forces colliding together to create one of the greatest tag teams in the history of the wrestling industry! That's right folks, tonight, you bare witness as the better than before, reformed team of Bad Influence compete right here, right now!

The crowd spur up a bit at the prospect of a tag team match, which is rare in XWL.

But before we can get to that, there's one little hurdle we've got to jump over first. See, in her rush to assure that Sheamus has yet another table to put someone through, Stephaine McMahon overlooked one very important thing...

Daniels turns to look at Kazarian who looks down to the canvas and shakes his head.

That's right, she forgot to give my best friend a match.

The crowd boo louder than they have all night.

Christopher Daniels
Relax, it's not her fault she messed up, she was under a lot of stress from all of you ungrateful people who continuously hassle her, I mean jeez, show a little respect.

The crowd outdo their last chant as they make it known how they feel with louder jeers aimed solely at Daniels who sinks it all in.

Now, I know that I am scheduled to face one of the less known superstars in Jack Swagger, but Frankie here has a little proposition for all of you out in the back tonight, isn't that right Kaz?

Daniels hands the microphone to Kaz who lights up as he takes it in his grasp.

That's right, Chris. I might not have an official opponent for tonight, but that doesn't mean that I'm not going to compete. I've never been one to shy away from a fight, and that isn't going to change any time soon. See, I believe that you people, as lazy and unsuccessful as you might be, you still deserve to see the best match possible, and what match could be better than a match consisting of both Christopher Daniels and myself? So my proposal goes out to anyone back there who has the balls to stand by Jack Swagger's side to take on the best of the best in tag team action.

The crowd lets out a pop at Seth’s name.

Now I know what you’re thinking. Isn’t Seth Rollins set to face Brock Lesnar? Well he was, but unfortunately Brock Lesnar is not cleared to compete tonight. Don’t worry folks he’ll be ready for Uprising, it’s just strep throat, but it is still contagious, and well, we wouldn’t want to get Seth Rollins sick before his big.. Oh wait that’s right, he never got a contender’s match for Uprising.. Well I’m sure that the former King of the Ring winner will want to be on the pre-show or something. That all being said, Seth doesn’t have an opponent tonight, and he seemed to be dying for a fight last week. So why don’t you two use those silver tongues of yours and go and ask Stephanie to have him team up with Jack Swagger so that you can show off your superior tag team skills? I would convince her to make the match for you myself, however she’s decided to become a thorn in my crew’s side as of late. But I’m sure you two can convince her, after all she wanted to teach Seth a lesson this week and seeing as Brock Lesnar can’t, who better to take his place than the reuniting Bad Influence!!




*The crowd then hears the theme of the man who was in a heated debate with Stephanie McMahon last week and was supposed to face Brock Lesnar this week, Seth Rollins. Seth must have been prepared as he is in his ring gear and he's already gotten a mic from the back. He has a stoic or rather neutral look on his face as he says*

[Seth Rollins]
I'm not gonna sit here and say that I was not somewhat afraid of Brock Lesnar I mean just look at the guy. *The crowd then boos at the sound of Lesnar's name but they don't blame Seth because they know it's true. But Paul, don't break your arm patting yourself on the back, I mean it's not like you were the one inject- oh I mean lifting now were you?

*The crowd then pops as Seth looks over at Paul who just glares back at him with the dirtiest of looks.*

[Seth Rollins]
Now I don't talk to Jack Swagger that much, but I honestly could beat both of these egomaniacs by myself, so if he wants to join the fun so be it because-

*Paul Heyman then cuts off Seth very rudely and says*

Heyman pauses for a moment and looks out towards Bad Influence. Kazarian nudges Daniels who perks up after realizing what Heyman is doing.

All of a sudden Heyman’s face disappears from the tron and is replaced by Stephanie McMahon’s much to the annoyance of all three men.

No matter how many times I tell Paul that he isn’t the one in charge around here he always finds a way to try to undermine me. Well, those days are over. Seth, Christopher, Frankie, now as happy as I am at your willingness to fight, Paul Heyman doesn’t make the matches around here, and neither do you. I do, I’m the Breakdown General Manager and it’s about time that you all start treating me as such! Seth, last week the way you talked back to me was unacceptable. An employee is not allowed to talk to his boss the way that you did to me, even, no, especially here in the XWL!

Stephanie looks out towards the ring.

And Frankie, I know that you and your buddy Chris here think that you’re all that and then some, and you might just be, but you’re not the general manager, and you will not demand matches on my show. If you aren’t booked tonight it’s not because I forgot, and it’s not because I was too busy worrying about other superstars such as Sheamus like you said earlier. It’s because I choose not to book you. Why? Because I have my reasons and I don’t have to explain them to you or anyone else.

Stephanie then rolls her eyes as she gets to her next subject.

And as for Paul.. Oh, don’t even get me started on Paul. It’s bad enough that he’s been walking around like he owns the place, but now I hear that one of our Medical Staff Members has been secretly working with Paul, not clearing his clients regardless of the injury just so they wouldn’t have to compete! I will not tolerate this anymore. The General Managers before me might have turned a blind eye to Paul Heyman just because of who he is, but from now on I’ll be watching him very closely, and he will not be allowed to get away with this any longer!!

Stephanie looks out towards Seth and the clearly irritated Bad Influence

So, later tonight Brock Lesnar will be given a strep test right out here live in the middle of this ring!!! If it’s positive and he really can’t compete then Seth, you’ll be one lucky man. But when it comes out negative, proving that Brock really isn’t sick, then the same stipulations will apply to the match as before. If Brock Lesnar doesn’t compete, then The Ryback is free of his obligations to Paul Heyman… And as for you Frankie, you better rest up tonight because at Uprising you’ll be going one on one with… Seth Rollins!! That is if he makes it past tonight’s match!!

Stephanie, please allow me to apologise, I was wrong when I said that Paul Heyman is the greatest mind in this business, because the greatest mind in this business is yours.

Stephanie flashes a smile before disappearing off the screen. Seth stares at his opponent for Uprising from the ramp before making his exit back to the locker rooms as Kazarian prepares Daniels for his upcoming match.

As Breakdown comes back from commercial break the camera cuts to the backstage area where Renee Young is standing with a microphone in hand.

Ladies and gentlemen please welcome my guest at this time, he is a former United States and World champion, Justin Gabriel.

The camera pans out slightly and moves to the left to bring Gabriel into frame. Gabriel stands there with a smile on his face which only gets bigger when the audience can be heard cheering in the arena.

Justin, last week you made a shock return to XWL after over a years absence. How did it feel to come back after so long and to even knock off the United States champion Antonio Cesaro right away?

Gabriel laughs a little as Renee asks her question and the fans continue being heard. He waits until they have quietened down before speaking.

You know, back when I was here all that time ago, I wanted to achieve big. I wanted to become known, I wanted to hold a few titles, I wanted to be the world champion... And I did all that. I remember when I won the world championship it was the best feeling I had ever felt. I thought I had achieved what I wanted to achieve and that was that. When I lost it only a month later I didn't really care all that much because I had already done what I wanted to do. It was time for me to move on to the next chapter of my life... Or so I thought. I tried finding a new goal in life, believe me I did but nothing I tried made me feel as passionate as I do about wrestling. I tried putting it to the back of my mind. "You'll get over it" I thought to myself "It's in the past now, time for something new". I just couldn't shake the feeling, I missed wrestling. So last week when I came back and I heard all those fans screaming my name, when I stepped into the ring I knew that this is where I should be. Before the match even started I got this tingling feeling on the back of my neck and shooting down my spine, I was genuinely excited. It was the best I've felt since I lifted the world title and tonight was the same. I know that my place is here and man, I ain't going anywhere ever again.

Cheers resonate around the arena once again as Gabriel says this, he stops for a second and lets out another small laugh.

As for Cesaro... Well, taking down the United States champion just made the feeling that much sweeter.

Renee Young

Speaking of the United States championship, now that you've pinned the champion do you feel like you're in like for a title shot sometime in the near future?

Justin Gabriel
Umm, no not really. I just got back and haven't really thought about gold to be honest with you. Really I think I'm just going to enjoy being back and see where that takes me. Of course if a title opportunity is presented to me I'm not exactly going to turn it down but I'm not going to go looking for one. At least not now.

Renee Young

Well after defeating R-Truth earlier tonight you can't imagine you'd be waiting too long for someone to take notice?

Yeah, Truth... That guy, he's a, umm... He's an enigma. I'm sorry but does anyone know what he's talking about when wandering around these halls? He's just so strange and cra... He's a weird dude lets just leave it there. A great in ring competitor though, surprisingly flexible. But yeah, as I said if I'm presented with any opportunities I'm not going to turn them down. If doing what I do best and kicking ass week in, week out earns me opportunities then so be it. I'm not complaining.

Renee Young

Well if you're not looking for any title opportunities what are your immediate plans? Or are you just want to go with the flow without any real goals for the foreseeable future?

Yes, that. That has me written all over it. Yeah but pretty much for now I just want to enjoy being here, you know? Although it might look like I'm in great ring shape, which I am, I was gone for a long time and it's going to take a little time to get to the level I was once at. Basically I'm just goi...

Gabriel is distracted with some loud laughing coming down the hall towards him.

The laughter grows louder as two figures come into view, the camera focuses over to them, showing them as the members of the newly reformed, Bad Influence.

Hey! Look who came out here to congratulate you on your flawless victory, Chris. It's that one chick with the microphone, you know, the one who you told me you had feelings fo...

Daniels cuts across Kazarian before he can finish his sentence.

Daniels stops himself and straightens up before turning to look at Renee with a smile on his face.

So, Renee. How you doin'?

Rene's eyes grow wider as Daniels stays frozen on the spot.

Renee Young
Uhm... Daniels, are you okay?

Daniels stays frozen, not saying a word. Renee reaches out to touch him, but before she gets the chance, Kazarian steps in and gently nudges his partner to the side.



Frankie Kazarian
Sorry, Renee is it? You'll have to forgive my friend here, he's just come out of a match with Jack Swagger. I know, I know what you're thinking, but don't worry, he hasn't suffered a concussion, but when a man who hasn't competed in that ring for quite some time is forced to step into the ring with someone who doesn't know his ass from his face, there's going to be a couple of side effects...

The camera pans over to Daniels who is staring at Renee, still not saying a word.

Frankie Kazarian
Since he isn't quite himself right now, I'm going to assume he would want me to speak for him. You see, for some reason, don't ask me why because really I... I just don't understand it, but Christopher here has grown smitten over you and he was hoping that you would do him the honour of accompanying him to dinner.

Gobsmacked, Renee looks from Kazarian to Daniels and then lifts her microphone to her lips.

Renee Young
Well gosh I... I don't know what to say.

Frankie Kazarian
Looks at him Renee, how could you say anything but yes to that face?

The camera pans over to Daniels who is smiling from cheek to cheek and still staring into Renee's eyes.

Renee Young
I'm sorry, it's just a bit of a surprise. You'll have to give me time to think about it.

Renee turns to Daniels and smiles back at him.

Renee Young
I'll let you know at Uprising.

With that, the stunned Renee turns around and makes her exit. Kazarian turns to Daniels and nods.

I think you're in there.

Suddenly Daniels springs to life again and the two turn to leave, but Daniels turns back around and waves.

Hi Justin!

Daniels then turns back and the two start to leave.

Frankie Kazarian
Was he there that whole time?

Daniels shruggs.

Frankie Kazarian
That's creepy.

Kazarian and Daniels disappear out of view leaving Justin Gabriel standing on his own, he looks into the distance, completely confused by what just happened, frustrated, he makes his leave as the cameras fall to darkness.

CM Punk wins via the GTS

After the match

CM Punk stands tall after one of the greatest of all time lay at his feet, Punk has defeated the Game and another huge win for his collection. Punk walks over to the corner and climbs up the turnbuckle, he throws his arms up in the air and lets out a huge “Best in the Woooorld!!”. Punk is suddenly whipped backwards causing him to crash into the canvas with the back of his head. The camera pans up but to see that it is none other than Bobby Roode. Roode mounts Punk and starts driving vicious punches to the forehead, after already going through a hard fought battle with the Game Punk is virtually defenseless to Roode's attacks. Roode slides out of the ring, leaving Punk a battered mess in the ring but matters have only gotten worse as Roode gains possession of a chair and returns inside the ring. He lifts the chair high above his head, looking to bring it crashing down onto the unsuspecting CM Punk but he stops. Perhaps a second thought. Instead he unfolds the chair and places it in the centre of the ring. He drags Punk up onto his feet and delivers a sickening Double R Spinebuster onto the chair. Punk twists and squirms in agony as Roode looks down at him with a sick pleasure on his face. Roode raises his arms and lets out a “Best in the Wooorld” of his own as the camera fades out.

Breakdown returns and we are brought backstage, where JTG is seen leaving the medical facility after just being cleared to compete.

I’m surprised that you showed up tonight.

JTG turns around angrily as we see Edge approach, his crew nowhere to be seen.

Are you sure you want to go through with this rematch after last week? Are you even cleared to?

[JTG:] Hell yeah I'm sure and I'm clear to go, like I told ya before Edge, I want to whoop your ass in that ring just like I did last week. And I see that you don't have that fat ass Heyman and his dumb-asses with ya. I thought you needed backup with you in case I just knock your bitch ass out right here and now.......

Oh you mean this crew?

Edge gives off a devilish grin as Heyman, Goldberg, Kane, and Prince Devitt appear behind him.

Look JTG, I'll admit it, you beat me fair and square two weeks ago. But we both know that it will never happen again, especially with my crew at my back.

He’s right you know, so how about you save yourself the heart break and just call this whole thing off.

[JTG:] Nah I ain't calling it off, why would I call it off when I beat yo' ass last week in that ring fair and square. You think I'm stupid, man fuck you bruh I worked too damn hard in this company and I ain't backing down from nobody!

Edge rolls his eyes

Edge charges at JTG, flooring him before he even has a chance to put his arms up in defense.

Just then the Medical Facility door opens and out comes Stephanie McMahon talking to none other than The Ryback and Big E Langston!!

The three stop as they see JTG slowly getting to his feet as The Heyman Crew stand over him.

Oh nothing Stephanie. Clumsy JTB here just tripped, and we were simply..

Heyman forcefully helps JTG to his feet. The Brooklyn Superstar pushes Heyman off of him.

[JTG:] It’s JTG fool!

Really Paul, I thought that someone like you would be able to come up with a much better lie.

{{Paul Heyman}}
Me? Lie? Never.

{{Stephanie McMahon}}
Mmmhm. Well Paul, you sure have been keeping the XWL Medical Staff busy lately. And speaking of the medical staff is Brock Lesnar here yet? And is he ready for his strep test?

Paul mutters “for you” under his breath.

Well you see I was talking to The Ryback and Big E here and they were telling me how they think it’s unfair that you didn’t actually compete tonight.

Didn’t compete? What show were you watching Stephanie? Redemption? Because if you were watching tonight’s show then you would have clearly saw myself go out to that ring, even though I’m not a wrestler, and wrestle, and defeat a three hundred pound human wrecking ball.

{{Stephanie McMahon}}
Really Paul? Is that how you see it? Sure you went out there, and yeah you might have stuck around when the bell rang, barely. But your newest client over there, Prince Devitt? He interfered within seconds of the match. The Ryback didn’t get the justice that he deserved.

{{Paul Heyman}}
Justice? You want to talk about justice? Banning all of my crew members from ringside. Making me compete, against The Ryback. And worst of all forcing Brock Lesnar to appear against his will? And you dare say the word justice? Justice would be putting my client, Edge, in the Money in the Bank match. Justice would be putting Antonio Cesaro’s title on the line at Uprising, against Prince Devitt, skipping that silly contender’s match, because he’s just that damn good. Justice would be giving Goldberg, a man that has defeated the best in the world at what he does, what he has earned. Justice would be throwing out those silly B-Grade names that you have competing over the World Title in exchange for the likes of Brooockkk Lesnarrrr!! And you dare say the word Justice to me.

No Paul. Justice would be you, Paul Heyman, competing in a match. And that’s exactly what’s going to happen at Uprising!!

Paul can’t hide the fear in his eyes as the crowd goes wild.

But.. But.. The Ryback already has a match!

{{Stephanie McMahon}}
Oh not against The Ryback. No. You’re right, he has his hands full with Goldberg. I’m talking about another behemoth that you’ve angered. I’m talking about Big E Langston!!

The crowd goes wild as Big E smiles as Heyman.

What!! No!! That’s not fair! I’m not a wrestler! Stephanie, please! I beg of you. Don’t do this!
{{Stephanie McMahon}}
Oh don’t worry Paul, I know that you’re not a wrestler. That’s why I’m going to give you a tag team partner for that match. None other than the man who almost suffocated Big E last week, that’s right Kane!!

Big E points at Kane who cocks his head and gives off a devilish grin.

{{Stephanie McMahon}}
And since you love justice so much, I wouldn’t dare allow Big E to go up against the two of you alone. So his tag team partner will be.. JTG!!!

JTG smiles and points at Paul

[JTG:] You hear that bruh! You’re mine!!

{{Stephanie McMahon}}
And as for the rest of your crew. They will be banned from ringside. You know, justice and all. Now, as for tonight’s match, it’s obvious that JTG is in no state to compete. And he’s not the only one. Were you wondering why Christian didn’t have a match this evening? Well he’s also not cleared to compete tonight, or this Sunday, I think it was.. Strep, sound familiar? So I have a new opponent for you at Uprising Edge, chairs match and all. And seeing as you love surprises so much Paul, I’ll have you wait until then to find out who it is!! Now if you’ll excuse us, Big E, The Ryback and myself were in the middle of a conversation. JTG, why don’t you come with us, I have something I’ve been meaning to ask you as well.

JTG looks at Edge

[JTG:] It’s not over between us!

And with that Stephanie, Big E, The Ryback, and JTG all walk off, leaving the Heyman Crew fuming as we go to a commercial break.

*With Breakdown returning from a commercial break, cameras head backstage towards a deserted room, where the self proclaimed “Anti-Diva,” Paige, is shown staring off into the distance, possibly replaying the events that transpired earlier in the evening leading to the end of her and Kaitlyn's tag match against Brie Bella and the reigning Divas Champion, Layla, following the arrival of a former adversary in Alicia Fox. The camera focuses on Paige, who begins to speak, almost as if on cue.*

Just when you think you've but your past behind you, it rears its ugly head and ends up costing you a match you were on your way to winning. It's no secret that Kaitlyn and myself aren't the best of friends, but that doesn't mean I don't know what she's capable of in that ring. Tonight proved that we don't even have to be friends to get the job done, we don't have to like each other but a certain “Foxy Diva” from my past decided to “scout” the competition and it cost us.



{Paige}
Fox, I know you better than anybody else, and I know that the last thing you were doing was “scouting,” your lies are transparent, and I know your ulterior motive: You're trying to get under my skin, you're trying to reignite a war that you have no business being in. Many weeks ago, I said that I was done with you, Fox, and I am. There's only one thing on my mind and that's the Divas Championship.



{Paige}
After I defeat Kaitlyn once again at Uprising, I will walk into Final Stand and finally accomplish something that has eluded me for over a year: Becoming Divas Champion. You're already responsible for the demise of the United Queendom, you're already responsible for denying me of becoming champion once before, and I'll be damned if I let that happen again.



*Paige stares into the camera, clearly less than pleased how her match tonight went down, but just over the horizon, the opportunity that has eluded her for nearly a year has presented itself in the shape of a Number One Contenders match, and against none other than the Hybrid Diva herself, Kaitlyn. Breakdown fades as the last image shown is Paige gazes into the camera with a look of intent in her eyes.*

Cameras cut backstage after returning from a commercial break as none other than Detroit's own, Chris Sabin, is shown walking down a corridor. Alongside him? The man that fell before the returning Wade Barrett earlier in the evening: The Amazing Mikey. They continue walking down the corridor, with The Amazing Mikey pushing a stretcher, until Sabin breaks the silence between them.

What a better place to make a return in than your hometown. Just when you think he's gone, he comes back better than ever, just like Alex. It really is a shame that Morrison had to interrupt such a long awaited return. You know, I would have been out there along with him, but this is a battle he has to fight alone, just like I have to fight Daniel Bryan alone, which is now easier said than done since Sandow took it upon himself to take him out six days before our match.

They continue walking down the hallway, turning the corner and ending up in another corridor before Sabin continues to speak.

{Chris Sabin}
I know I told you that you could use the Motor City Machine Guns' theme, but you could have at least put up a much better fight than that. After that performance, you might want to change your name. I mean, The Amazing Mikey? The only amazing thing that you showed out there was how fast you got the crowd to turn on you. Then there was the moment where you got dropped by Wade, that was pretty amazing too. But what I'm trying to say is-

Sabin abruptly stops speaking and comes to a halt, looking at something or someone off camera with a look of surprise. The camera pans around and the person across Sabin is none other than The American Dragon, Daniel Bryan, in the middle of the corridor stretching showing he is perfectly healthy after his match with Damien Sandow. Sabin motions to The Amazing Mikey, telling him to leave. He flees the scene, leaving both men who will do battle in just six days at Uprising alone.

I figured you'd be in a hospital by now, with the beating Sandow gave you and all.

Daniel smirks at Sabin's comment.

[Daniel Bryan] Come on now, calling that match a beating is a bit of a stretch. You win some, you lose some. Damien Sandow may think he has the most brains in XWL but he doesn't seem so intellectual after challenging Kurt Angle to a Contendership match that's already made. All that matters is I'm feeling 100% after my match and I'm ready to go at Uprising, you make sure you handle Gunner tonight because I don't want any excuses for next week. I want to face Chris Sabin at his very best at Uprising.

{Chris Sabin}
Don't you worry about Chris Sabin, if I could beat a guy that repeats his last name twice, if I could beat a “Real American” then I won't have to worry about Gunner. If anybody should worry about Chris Sabin, it's the guy who's looking to get sued for gimmick infringement, because by the time that bell rings, only one of us is going to get gunned down, and it isn't going to be me. What I am worried about, however, is whether or not you'll be using yet another loaded knee pad in six days.

Daniel shakes his head at Sabin's last remark.

[Daniel Bryan] Are you really still sticking with that loaded knee pad story, Chris? Look, it's not my fault you have a glass jaw and it was that easy to knock you clean out for a victory. All you're doing is bringing your reputation down and down and making yourself look even worse for when it eventually happens again at Uprising. Do you think Alex Shelley would do that? He's not the kind of man who would make cheap excuses like that to try and protect their own image. I thought you were trying to prove yourself as a singles competitor yet all you've done is tarnish yourself..

{Chris Sabin}
Tarnish myself? I hate to break it to you, Bryan, but the only one who's tarnished themselves is you, and it gets worse and worse every time that you deny not having a loaded knee pad. It's okay, most people need a bit of extra help to come out on top in a match, you with your loaded knee pad, Wade Barrett with his loaded elbow pad, Shawn Michaels with his loaded boot. I've proven myself as a singles wrestler week after week, match after match, win after win, but that doesn't seem to be enough for you, that doesn't seem to validate me as a singles competitor in your eyes, and that's fine, because at Uprising, you're going to learn to never underestimate a Gun.

Daniel looks as if he's heard enough from Sabin as he glares at him.



[Daniel Bryan] I'm not the one who has been clamouring for the same success as my former tag partner, hoping to one day reach the potential that he has excelled. I know I'm looking like the bad guy right now but all I'm doing is telling the truth, but a world respected wrestler like Alex Shelley wouldn't resort to saying I have a "loaded knee pad". Maybe not having his influence around you has made you show your true colours.. If you want to prove yourself as a singles wrestler to me you're going to have to get the job done at Uprising. I'm not trying to underestimate you but just know that you're in the fight of a lifetime at Uprising, you better bring your A-Game because I'm great at exposing weaknesses in the ring so if you slip up even once, I'm going to capitalize on it and I'm going to keep doing it until I break you down. No excuses, nothing.

It goes silent as both men face off for a few more seconds. A very determined Daniel Bryan walks off leaving Sabin to his own thoughts as we fade away to a commercial break.

DING DING DING!!!!

Welcome back folks! It looks like we’re all set for tonight’s huge tag team match!!

{{JR}}
That’s right King! Big E Langston and The Ryback are going to be going up against Kane and Goldberg of the Heyman Crew!!

{{Cole}}
The question on everyone’s mind is whether or not The Ryback is at 100% after that spear from Goldberg and that Stone Cold Stunner earlier tonight!!

The theme of Big E Langston begins to play as the crowd cheers.

Here he is! Big E Langston!! Just one of the many enemies of the Heyman Crew willing to fight for what is right no matter the odds!!

That’s right! There was a time when The Heyman Crew could use their numbers game to do whatever they pleased. But first The Ryback, then Big E, now Stone Cold Steve Austin! And not to mention Stephanie McMahon. It looks like The Heyman Crew’s luck is starting to run out!

{{Cole}}
Luck? Luck??? When you have the speed of Prince Devitt, the strength of Goldberg, and the smarts of Edge? You don’t need luck. And that’s not even including the wild card, The Big Red Monster, Kane. And the ace up Heyman’s sleeve, Brock Lesnar! When you’re Paul Heyman you don’t need luck!!

Big E is in the ring now, flexing his muscles as he awaits his tag team partner.



The crowd begins to chant “Feed Me More” as The Ryback makes his way out to the stage. He raises his left arm, then his right arm, his left, his right, then both, before throwing them both down as his pyro goes off and he shouts “WAKE UP!”

And here comes The Ryback! He looks ready for tonight’s match, look at the determination in his eyes!

{{JR}}
But is his body ready after what transpired earlier tonight?

The Ryback enters the ring, bumping fists with Big E.

{{Cole}}
Well I’m sure we’ll see soon! What I’m wondering is whether or not he’ll make it to Uprising once Kane and Goldberg are through with him!



Goldberg’s theme begins to play, bringing about a loud boo from the crowd.

{{Cole}}
And here’s Goldberg! I’m sure he can’t wait to finish off his Uprising opponent tonight!

Goldberg is seen busting through his locker room door, Paul Heyman close behind.

{{JR}}
Well after that exciting victory over Chris Jericho even I’m impressed by Goldberg. The Ryback might have bit off more than he can chew this time.

Goldberg enters as his stage pyro shoots off.

{{Cole}}
That’s for sure. This isn’t Eric Young or Carlito. We’re not talking about Primo or Epico or Brian Kendrick. No. This is Goldberg! This is the Heyman Crew!!

Goldberg stands at the foot of the ring, waiting for his tag team partner with Heyman by his side.



Fire shoot from the stage as Kane enters.

Here’s Kane!! I wonder if he’ll be able to coexist with Goldberg after that accidental spear!!

{{Cole}}
Well I’m sure he knows that it was just that, an accident. But you never know with Kane!!!

{{JR}}
That’s for sure. He’s a monster. No human would be able to do what he did to Big E last week.

{{Cole}}
Well that’s nothing compared to what Kane’s going to do to him at Uprising!

{{JR}}
Well Kane will have to end that match as fast as possible if he plans on coming out victorious. When Big E tires he will be able to tag in JTG. But all Kane has in his corner is Paul Heyman!!

{{King}}
That’s right, and JTG proved that he’s not one to mess with after defeating Edge two weeks ago!

{{JR}}
Speaking of Edge, I wonder who that mystery opponent that Stephanie has planned for him is. I can’t wait for that Chairs Match at Uprising!! I love surprises!

Kane and Goldberg enter the ring, taking the fight right to Big E and The Ryback!! Kane grabs The Ryback and throws him out of the ring as Goldberg and Big E begin to exchange blows. Kane demonically steps over the ropes and down to the floor to finish off his tag team partner’s Uprising opponent as Goldberg does the same inside the ring. The ref signals for the bell to start as Goldberg is able to power Big E into the corner. On the outside The Ryback is fighting for his life against The Big Red Monster, the two giants exchanging deadly blows back and forth. Goldberg hits Big E with a few shoulder blocks in the corner before Irish whipping him into the opposite corner. He then charges right into an unexpected Meathook Clothesline from The Ryback, who was able to throw Kane against the wall, taking care of the monster for now. The Ryback goes to his corner as Big E picks Goldberg up and lifts him onto his shoulders, looking to hit the Big Ending. But Goldberg is able to reverse, sending Big E into the ropes where he rebounds right into a shoulder block!! But Big E refuses to go down. Goldberg runs the ropes and hits another shoulder block, but yet again he is unable to floor Big E!! Big E now runs the ropes and hits a shoulder block of his own. Goldberg also refuses to go down. The two monsters glare at each other before both running the ropes and hitting a double clothesline!!

Both men are down!

Kane is up now, extending his hand for the tag as The Ryback slams the steel steps with feet, hoping to stir up something in Big E to make the tag. Both men get tagged in simultaneously and charge at one another!! Kane floors The Ryback with a clothesline! The Ryback quickly gets back to his feet only to be floored again, this time by a huge uppercut!! The Ryback gets back to his feet, stumbling into the corner as Kane grabs him. The Big Red Monster irish whips The Ryback into the corner, hitting a corner clothesline followed by a tilt-a-whirl side slam!! Kane gets to his feet and readies his glove as The Ryback slowly gets to a knee. Kane wraps his hand around The Ryback’s neck, but The Big Guy is able to lash out with a guy kick and dive towards his partner, tagging him in!! Big E charges, flooring Kane with an E-Train!! He runs the ropes and hits a huge splash!! He goes for the pin as the crowd goes wild…1….2… Goldberg breaks up the pin!!

No!!

The Ryback charges into the ring only to be hit with a huge Spear by Goldberg!!! Goldberg kicks The Ryback to the outside of the ring as Kane sits up, wrapping his hand around Big E’s throat!! Goldberg goes back into his corner as Kane goes to hit a chokeslam, but Big E reverses with a kick to the knee! He then runs the ropes and floors Kane with a clothesline!! He goes for the pin.1…2.. What! Heyman dragged Big E off of Kane by his feet!!

Oh come on!!

Big E furiously exits the ring and charges towards Heyman, who quickly begins to run away. Heyman runs around the ring with Big E in pursuit! But Goldberg quickly comes to Paul’s aid, hitting Big E with a big boot and throwing him back into the ring!!
{{JR}}
I wonder if Kane will be able to protect Heyman from Big E at Uprising!!

Kane lashes out with a few punches before irish whipping Big E into his corner! He tags Goldberg in and the two monsters hit Big E with a huge double suplex!!! Kane looks to the outside of the ring where The Ryback is still lying. He cocks his head before exiting the ring and picking up The Ryback, dragging him to the announce table. He then lifts him high into the air and chokeslams him through the table!!!!!

Bah Gawd! He nearly broke The Ryback in half!!

Back in the ring Goldberg is in the corner, daring Big E to get to his feet.

{{JR}}
SPEAR!!

Goldberg follows the spear up with a Jackhammer and goes for the pin..1….2…3..!!



Before Goldberg even has time to celebrate, to his, Heyman’s, and the crowd’s surprise, Kane has him by the throat, staring deep into his eyes. The stare down continues for a few moments longer before Kane lets go, lifts his hands in the air, and brings them down as pyro shoots up from the corners of the ring. We go to a commercial break to Kane and Goldberg staring at one another, Heyman in between the two, as Big E and The Ryback lay on the floor outside battered and bruised.
