Hey there! Shuggz came to me via PM about a week or two ago and asked for my thought on his Roman Reigns promos, shortly there after my internet decided to be a massive cunt and cut off. I'm currently stealing the guy next doors as I write this.

Roman Reigns General Shuggz Review

My man crush for you is about as big of a secret as Davids drug habits so as you probably guessed you devious little cupcake, I have nothing but nice things to say about your promos, the reason I'm posting it here is in hopes that some more people see it and get inspired to do the same for each other.

Since the promos I was supposed to review are like 3 weeks old now I'll give you a brief thoughts on them. I'm not a fan of when people take characters up and change their personalities completely but I do like when they take the character and crank the dial up to 11, that's what you're doing with Reigns, you're giving his badass persona more personality and that's what he needs in real life as well. He needs to start bringing up his trash talking game because we all know he backs it up incredibly well. This is why it's great that you have Roman, you are a beast in-game and therefor you win a hell of a lot so the insane trash talking that you put out in promos is backed up by your in game record. No point in claiming to be the best if you're getting your ass kicked (which is why I've always loved your CM Punk as well because the "Best in the World" was more than a catchphrase, he consistently does what he says he will, even if its against me you prick.)

This weeks Roman Reigns Promo:

I'm a fan of how you're keeping the shields backstage hijacking part of his persona, the cocky opening statement to break the confusion is great and I hope we get a new one each time. Your years of being CM Punk probably helped a great deal for the first two paragraphs, you just take Swagger and rip him apart piece by piece AFTER you've already done so in the match. This is great heel work as he's already proven he's better but chooses to throw salt in the wounds. I'm also a fan of the way you have Reigns speak down to people with words like "boy" as though he's everyones elder. (Classic Scottish guy calling everyone "Weeman")

For the next paragraph you go on to do something that EVERYONE should do but they just don't, you hype up Randy Orton before your match with him, you make it seem like this guy is one of the best and the reasons that's done is so that if you win, you've just put yourself over even more and if you lose, you've got something to fall back on. It's no use telling everyone that Chris Jericho is shit if he pins you later that night, that makes you worse than shit. So well done for that. Great promo overall and I look forward to seeing what you do as him in future! I'll be watching.

Favourite line: "The options that I presented to Jack Swagger do not apply to you, you do not get nor deserve that luxury Randy. Tonight I prove to the World that Roman Reigns is a man to be feared"

The cameras take us backstage where Sara Del Rey is seen stretching in preparation for her match later tonight. As she loosens up her hamstrings, an interviewer approaches her and clears his throat awkwardly as his eyes linger on Del Rey’s body for a second longer than normal. She catches him staring she crosses her arms and gives him the evil eye while he coughs awkwardly before stuttering out a sentence.

Interviewer
U… uh… Sara d… do you mind if I ask you a few questions?

Del Rey doesn’t answer verbally. Her response instead comes in the form of a threatening step in the direction of the Interviewer who takes a hesitant step back.

Interviewer
Well.. i…it’s just that people want to know your thoughts about your confrontation with AJ last week and…

The interviewers voice trails off as  Don West walks up to where the two are standing and gives the interviewer an angry look.

Don West
What in the world is going on here?

Interviewer
I just thought I would ask Sara few questions about…

Don West
Oh, you just thought you’d ask my client a few questions? You thought it would be okay to just approach The Queen of Wrestling and stick a microphone in her face as if she was just some run-of-the-mill diva in this company? If you want some boring diva to ask some meaningless questions so you don’t have to put any actual thought into your job, then go bother someone else!

Interviewer
Sorry, Don, I didn’t mean to…

Don West
Hey, hey, hey, come on now, there’s no need to apologize. Look, I’m a nice guy, and it’s clear you haven’t dealt with someone of the caliber of Sara Del Rey before in your career, so I’m going to go ahead and give you another chance at this. Go ahead and ask her how she’s doing.

Interviewer
H..How are you doing today, Sara?

Sara Del Rey
I’m doing just fine, thank you very much. I’ve been in this company before and let me tell you, nothing compares to being a member of The West Side Army.

Interviewer
Why’s that?

Sara Del Rey
This time around, there’s no ignoring me, there’s no casually letting me slip through the cracks. I’ve been the best in this industry for a while now, but apparently that wasn’t enough to get a steady job here. I don’t know what the issue was before: maybe I was too tough, maybe they were worried that me being so much better than the other women would cause some issues with morale…

Don West
As if things are any different now.

Sara Del Rey
Of course they’re not. People look at that triple threat match two weeks back and think that’s a sign of things to come.

Don West
And those people are all idiots!

Sara Del Rey
The same idiots who think that me getting bested by some stick whose most exciting move is a facebuster is gonna be the norm around here.

Don West
You take Eve out of the equation and Nikki Bella would be in a hospital bed!

Interviewer
Last week you interrupted AJ Lee and many people are saying you were looking for an outlet to vent your frustrations after disappointing debut loss.

Sara Del Rey
I didn’t interrupt AJ because I was trying to vent.

Don West
She was not trying to vent!

Sara Del Rey
While I was gone, I just heard all this talk about how Miss AJ Lee was the hottest thing in all of wrestling, so I had to go out there and see with my own two eyes this little girl who can’t even keep her emotions in check.

Don West
I’d let her play with my kids, but I’m afraid they’d hurt her!

Sara Del Rey
It was a sad sight really, for a moment I was thinking Sara Del Rey versus AJ Lee would be a match people would be willing to pay for, but why would they waste their money on a fight that won’t even be close?

Don West
While Sara’s busting her butt in the gym, little Miss AJ is trying to get as many horny men as possible to retweet her posts! Oh… well speak of the devil.

AJ comes skipping on the scene, she skips around West and Del Rey a few times before coming to a halt, the interviewer instantly moves the microphone to AJ

[AJ Lee]
Don..Sara... I hope you don't feel like you accomplished anything last week, I hope you don't think you got to me and broke me nobodycan break me. You see if I remember correctly it was you that was walking away from me last week, despite Sara's unnatural size I wasn't the one backing away and leaving the ring. Soo you can make your jokes but Sara will never amount to anything here in XWL, I am the top diva I am the diva and nobody is ever going to change that.

Don West
We left the ring because with all of the crying you were doing we didn’t want to get our feet wet!

Sara Del Rey
I hope you’re not implying that I’m scared of you, AJ, I really do… But then again, considering your mental state, I wouldn’t be surprised.  Look at you, the way you skip instead of walking like a normal human being, the way you smile, the way you giggle, you know something? You’d look so adorable in a strait jacket.

Don West
She’s probably already mastered escaping by them. Listen, AJ< it was nice of you for dropping by, but if you’ll excuse us, Sara and I have an interview to finish.

[AJ Lee]
I could do that...Or I could stay here because I know it annoys the hell out of the both of you, just looking at diva that achieved something Sara never will eats you up inside. You may think Sara has the advantage over me because she's twice my size, but I'm not a three times divas champion for nothing, I'm not the greatest divas champion in history for nothing. And Sara...Ofcourse you was scared of me, But it's ok.. I know you was just intimidated by been in the ring with a real diva knowing you'll never even get close to success that I've had. It's ok, I know what it feels like... I was once in that position many years ago.

Don West
Now that you mentioned eating, I could go for a snack but that selfish prick Sheamus broke the food  table!

Sara Del Rey
AJ… just cut it ok with this little tough girl act, okay? I know you’ve had to compensate for not having the body of a real woman, but you actually believing your own hype is getting a little hard to watch. Sure, you’ve been diva’s champion three times, but there’s a reason why you’re former bff had one reign longer than your three combined… know why?

Don West
Because you, AJ, were the weak link of that team!

Sara Del Rey
The same way you’re the weak link of this diva’s division. All of your accomplishments while I was away mean nothing.

Don West
Nada.

Sara Del Rey
Zilch. It’s the same way that now that I’m back… you mean nothing.

AJ is obviously taken back and angered by the being called the weak link

[AJ Lee]
The weak link?! You think I'm the weak link? I was always better than Kaitlyn, from day one I was better than her and I still am today. She wouldn't even have a career in this business if it wasn't for me.... But I don't care about kaitlyn just like I don't care what you two think. Do you think I because this successful by caring what people think? And if I mean "nothing" then why don't you try prove it.

Sara Del Rey
Prove what? That I’m better than you? That I’m stronger than you? That I’m tougher than you? That all goes without saying, and anyone who doesn’t already see that we’re not in the same league isn’t worth my time. The only thing that has to be proven is that I can achieve twice as much in XWL that you have because if someone like you can call herself a champion, then anyone can.

Don West
Here’s the deal AJ, I know that you’re lost and out of place and you just don’t know how to carry on with your life now that you’re not a champion anymore, but the last thing we need you stalking us. It’s pointless because no matter how hard you try to keep up, Sara will always be two steps ahead and you’ll never get a chance to latch on to her coattails for the ride of a lifetime!

[AJ Lee]
I don't need to ride anybody's coattails, I can beat any diva on this roster by myself, no matter how freakishly big they may be. So Don...Since you seem to like to speak for Sara more than she can speak for herself, why doesn't she prove it? She thinks she's better than me? Then why doesn't she face me in that ring...next week on Breakdown. I will show you and I will show the world that I'm still the best diva on this roster. Unlike Sara I don't need anybody to talk for me, I don't need anybody to help me get to the top, I'm already at the top...and I got there myself.

Don West
Sure, AJ can beat every diva on this roster... EXCEPT LAYLA! Help me out, Sara, what had it been, five times now little Miss AJ Lee here has lost her precious title to the big, bad Layla?

Sara Del Rey
Yeah, five going on fifty.

Don West
Yet somehow she thinks she can overcome a foe who knows twice as many moves and thrice as many holds as AJ's biggest rival? Minus her on-going rivalry with her own sanity,  of course.

Sara Del Rey
And it's just yet another match she's on the losing side of.

Don West
She's just so delusional and trapped in her own little world.  I almost feel sorry for her. Why does she think you'd waste words on her when you have me here? Why does she think you'd get in the ring with her when beating her would do as much good as you taking the night off?

Sara Del Rey
I don't know,  Don, there's no point in trying to understand someone like that.  Let's go see what the others are up to.

[AJ Lee]
NO!..WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Get back here..I wasn't finished!

The anger on AJ is clear to see as Don West and Sara Del Rey continue to walk away, AJ just stands screaming before taking out her anger on the camera, by pushing it to the ground

The crowd's adrenaline spikes again as the World Heavyweight Champion and his friend step out onto the stage.




Alberto stops and admires the fans at the base of the ramp, pointing out to them and appreciating their support.




Del Rio and his friend Ricardo enter the ring, Alberto smiles as they stand center ring and hands Ricardo his World Title who in turn hands him a microphone.




Del Rio struts around the ring, looking downwards to the mat, possibly pondering what he's going to say following his main event victory last week.

Last week I came out here Dean Ambrose what was on my mind and what I intended for in that main event, and I personally think, he got my message FUERTE y CLARO. I came out here and made sure that he'd be rubbing his jaw, thinking about me with every punzada de incomodidad he has. Every thought the rest of the day, in your head I expect and hope is about revenge Dean, venganza in some shape or form. Because as I've said before, I amar a good fight, and with you I expect my most brutal one yet...


Del Rio seemingly shifts to a more serious tone after starting off more teasingly.

Men of Honor, The SHIELD, and now West Side Army, the first two were deadly, efficient, malicious, and meticulous. West Side Army was already efficient and meticulous but there was something that only you brought to the first two groups, that you now bring to West Side Army and that is the malice, that RAW HATE that only a few people can even imagine, and you channel it into a style and approach that is darker and more tedious than any other. You don't have a true technique, your style is inducing pain in anyway that happens to work in whatever particular setting you need it too. That's why you present, possibly, my greatest challenge in XWL...because of all the different ways you can beat a man, the ways se puede romper un hombre, crush his soul. But I'm not just another wrestler, I've had my soul tested, my will tried by fire, and I am more of a man than you have ever faced before!




{Alberto Del Rio}
But the same goes for you, you are more than anything I have taken on in the ring, a monster in human form is something you never take lightly and that's what you are. I know the potential for destruction you carry and I do not take you lightly Dean, but it's hard to resist the urge to provoke you and get the challenge these people want to see, the clash we NEED to have. Much like tonight, when I face arguably one of the best former XWL Intercontinental Champions in John Morrison, I want nothing but the best in my opponents so that win or lose I know that I have to give it everything each time, keep myself on my toes so when it comes time to defend this title, I'm on my A game.




{Alberto Del Rio}
Ambrose said that he would hurt me physically and take away what I hold most dear in my career, that being this World Championship and implied the mistake I made by giving him a shot, but what kind of champion would that make me if I didn't Dean? It's because of fighting monsters and psychos that I even got my way to this title, and I'd be one big culo for walking away at the sight of the first one who comes sniffing around for the gold. It won't be easy, it never is, but I'll do everything I can to put you down just like The Miz and Kane got put down, and I will do it as swiftly and remorselessly as I can.




{Alberto Del Rio}
I told everyone my goal, since I've won the World Heavyweight Championship, is to main event AND win at Final Stand and no matter who it's against....Dean, Ted, or someone I don't even have the faintest clue of yet....it will be the toughest fight of your respective careers. I am waiting for the lights to shine bright and for me to step into Final Stand to put on the best damn match I possibly can to retain this title, and for those questioning my looking ahead and how it may cost me against Dean.....I'm not looking past him, I am fully in the moment, but what kind of man, champion would I be if I didn't expect to win? I will beat you Dean Ambrose at Uprising and I will defeat any challenger who steps up to face me at Final Stand! No limitaciones, no excusas.

Alberto hands Ricardo the microphone again who then returns the championship to Alberto, setting it over his own shoulder, he steps from the ring down the the ringside floor. Alberto works his way to the ramp while he waves to the fans who cheer for him as he walks up towards the stage and exits through the curtains to the back ending the segment.

-10 Minutes Later-

Dolph and Daniel continue to fight it out as Daniel is groggy in the corner, Dolph runs across the ring and leaps for a stinger splash only for Daniel to move out of the way. Daniel kicks Dolph hard in the thigh and then in the chest, he continues this combo of kicks as the fans chant Yes over and over. Daniel then sprints across the ring and runs back with a forceful dropkick landing on his feet and running across and repeating it sending Dolph to the ground this time. Daniel takes Dolph and sits him backwards on the turnbuckle and climbs up looking for a huge back superplex. He clubs him in the back before lifting him up and falling back but as they're in mid air Dolph turns with a cross body and lands right on Daniel and covers!

Kickout! Dolph sits up with his hands on his head not sure what it's going to take to put away Daniel. He gets up and elbows him hard in the chest and does it multiple times before slicking his hair and jumping for another elbow but Daniel moves out of the way. Daniel springs to his feet only to be caught with a dropkick by Dolph, Dolph picks up Daniel by the hair and irish whips him into the corner but Daniel uses the turnbuckle to backflip over Dolph. Daniel keeps his momentum as he runs to the ropes and back ducking a clothesline and on the way back Dolph jumps up to leapfrog Daniel but Daniel quickly catches his leg slamming him face first to the mat!



Daniel then jumps forward catching Dolph's arm hooking it and then manages to get the full hold in with the Yes Lock! The fans burst into cheers as Dolph has nowhere to go, he reaches for the ropes but to no avail, then Dolph tries to roll back out of it but Daniel brings him back to his stomach and with them being in the dead center of the ring Dolph has no choice but to tap out!



Daniel rolls out of the ring as the referee checks on Dolph, the fans break out into Yes chants as Daniel does it along with them up the ramp looking pleased with his victory. We fade away to a video package.

Five minutes into the match... or like six  ... maybe 5 and a half minutes..

Brie Bella charges at Mickie James, hoping for a clothesline, but Mickie counters, getting a hold of her arm and lands a nice Hangman's Neckbreaker. Mickie follows up with a kip up and starts getting pumped up as the crowd cheers for her. Mickie makes her way towards the turnbuckle and climbs to the top turnbuckle, waiting for Brie Bella to get up from the canvas. Brie slowly gets back to her feet and as soon as she turns around, Mickie launches off into the air. Mickie James connects with a Diving Lou Thesz Press and goes for the cover...

Brie kicks out right after the two and this match is still underway. Mickie gets a grip of Brie and picks her up from the ground. She irish whips Brie into the turnbuckle and starts charging towards her direction. Brie lands an elbow to the chest of Mickie before hoping up onto the second turnbuckle. Brie Bella begins to get fired up and begins to shout as the fans cheer her on. Brie launches off the turnbuckle and hits a Diving Dropkick, sending Mickie crashing into the canvas and rolling back. Brie Bella makes her way back to her feet and stalks Mickie. As soon as Mickie gets up, Brie hits a nice clothesline. Mickie gets back up but Brie sends her back down to the mat with a dropkick to the midsection. Mickie James scrambles back to the bottom ring rope where she rest for a bit but Brie doesn't let up and hits her with a running knee to the chest. Brie rolls Mickie onto her back and goes for the cover...

Kickout by Mickie James. Brie Bella gets a grip of Mickie and picks her up slowly. Right as Brie attempts to go for a suplex, Mickie breaks free of Brie's grip and hits her quickly with a spinning back kick to the midsection. Mickie locks her arm around Brie's head and it looks like she's going for the Mickie-DT. Mickie jumps in the air but Brie pushes her off into the air. Mickie lands on her feet and as Brie approaches her, she attempts for the Mick Kick but Brie ducks quickly and goes for the roll up but Mickie breaks free from the roll up after the 2 count. Brie is able to make it to her feet first and as Mickie backward rolls onto her feet, Brie kicks Mickie in the midsection and lands a Bella Buster. She goes for the cover...

The bell rings as Brie Bella picks up the win against Mickie James. The referee walks over to Brie and raises her hand in victory while Lillian Garcia announces the result...

[Lillian Garcia]: Here is your winner, Brie Bella!

Brie Bella raises her hand in victory as she picks up yet another win. She hops up on the turnbuckle and poses as the fans cheer her on. The last picture we see is Brie Bella posing by the ring rope as the cameras fade away to the next segment...

Parkinson's Disease . . . As many as one million Americans live with it. It's a disorder in the affected's brain that leads to shaking and difficulty with walking, movement and coordination. Warning signs include, confusion, dementia, depression and fainting. Exercise, regular rest periods and psychical therapy may help to control the disease, but . . .

The man begins to chuckle, twisting his head to the side a little bit. 

 . . . XWL universe, there's no known cure . . .

(This is just something small to signal Knox's arrival. I plan on doing something like this every week along with an actual storyline promo. Let me know if it's good or not! ALSO, if anyone can find me some Mike Knox screen captures, I'd be more than grateful!) 

Breakdown instantly returns from commercial break and the titantron lights up, instantly showing the man who is scheduled to go against Eric Young later tonight, John Cena! Faint cheers could be heard in the background for him and John looks as if he was looking for someone or something. He looks down some of the hallways that he pass, walking by a couple of workers before stopping one of the random workers that looked to be minding their own business.

[John Cena]
Hey uhh, you seen Eric Young around? Wanted to congratulate him on the opportunity and wish him look in our match tonight.

[Worker #1]
Nope, haven't seen him.

The worker walks away and continues to do what he was doing, leaving Cena back to being on his own. He watches the worker walk away before stopping another one that passes him just a little bit after.

[John Cena]
You've seen Eric Young around?

[Worker #2]
Yeah, actually I just saw him down there not too long ago.

The worker points down the corridor in the direction Cena was walking. He pats the guy on the back, thanking him, before starting a walk down the corridor to find Young. As he walks down the corridor, he comes by a door to his left. The door suddenly swings open as a bushy haired ball capped fellow hops out screaming.

[Eric Young]
OOGA, BOOGA BOOGA!

Cena spins on the spot, decking the leaping EY, hitting him right in the nose. Young is knocked out of his leap, hitting the floor and curling up into a ball, holding his nose. He begins to whimper on the ground, then wail like an overgrown baby. John crouches down next to him, reaching out to check on him. Young snatches away from him.

[Eric Young]
No you big bully! Jeez. All I wanted was to show you my new girl getter technique.

Cena stares at him, dumbfounded by the so called "technique" that Eric showed him. Young stands up, drying his tears and rubbing his nose, looking to Cena now.

[Eric Young]
Whada you want?

Young sounds a little, odd, holding his nose and looking up to prevent a nose bleed.

[John Cena]
First off, girl getter technique? I...

But John stops mid-sentence, knowing that arguing against him about how what would be a "girl getter" would get him no where.

[John Cena]
I just wanted to come by and say Good Luck in your contenders match against whoever it may be. Oh, and...

Cena holds out a handle, offering a handshake to Young.

[John Cena]
Good luck in our match tonight. May the best contender win.

Young looks down at Cena's hand for a moment, then looks Cena in the eye.

[Eric Young]
A lot of people don't like you John. A lot of people don't like you because they think you're a suck up. I don't like you now because you hit me in the nose. Frickin' bully. But, I respect you. Good luck tonight.

Young reaches out, meeting Cena's hand. The two shake, smiling at each other now, sharing a sign of respect. Cena slightly laughs at Young calling him a bully, even though he and Eric probably knew it was just an accident.

[John Cena]
Now I was just wondering two things... How is that a 'girl getter' type of move? And secondly, how you feelin' going into that contenders match? Must be pretty nervous considering this is your first shot at getting some gold in the company.

Young laughs in response.

[Eric Young]
It's because the ladies drop whenever I do that move. Get it?

Young slaps his knee and chuckles.

[Eric Young]
As for the contenders match, I am pretty hyped to get out there and do what I've been waiting to do for months. First chance at gold in a company is a pretty big deal to me. I'm also glad management finally took notice of me. Got a little down in the dumps when they ignored me and my participation. What about you, John? What are you thinking going into Uprising? Anyone that you want to face?

John moved his hand to the back of his head, slightly scratching it as he looked away.

[John Cena]
Yeah, people sure did drop when you did that.

He looked back over towards Eric, thinking of who he'd face.

[John Cena]
And who would I want to face? Well, I'd love to face Nikki Bella because it would be li- I mean I'd want to face Sheamus! He's someone I haven't faced that much of so it'd be interesting to see how things worked out. But I'm glad they took notice to you as well, new faces going for championships sure is a good thing no matter who it is.

[Eric Young]
I know man. I'd like to see a bunch of new faces in the title scene, to tell you the truth. Even if it is people even remotely like a certain Kenny King.

Young shudders as he says the name.

[Eric Young]
But me and my issues aside, I have to get going. I have a got date to go call up for tonight after the show. Might go to Wendy's.

Young began to walk away as Cena stood kind of confused at what he just said; as if he was unsure if he understood what he said correctly or if he was just hearing things.

[John Cena]
Date... Wendy's? Either I'm a bit old fashion or he's something else. Good luck to whoever is with him, they may have a handful.

He slowly shook his head, letting out a faint chuckle as he looked back to see if Young was still walking away but he didn't see him anymore. John begins to walk away as the scene fades off into the next segment of the night.

As Breakdown rolls on Dolph Ziggler, who lost earlier in the night to Daniel Bryan after a hard fought, is seen walking down the halls, a scowl seemingly engraved onto his face.

 

Interview:
Dolph,  if I could just get a word about your match with Daniel Bryan where we saw you tap out…

Dolph Ziggler
You think I don’t remember what happened out there? To Daniel Bryan winning that match may be the highlight of his career just barely squeaking by the way he’s blazed a trail for losers and indie rejects like him to get jobs they don’t deserve in this company. While he’s been making a living of leeching onto XWL, for weeks I’ve been the hottest thing going on Breakdown and for some zoo animal to make me tap out in the ring, well it just goes to show that even the best can have an off night…. except for me tonight wasn’t that night. Even in defeat I think it’s safe to say that I looked pretty damn good and I guarantee you no one else will be able to put on a better performance inside of that ring than I did. The people came here to see Dolph Ziggler tonight and despite the loss the arena will sell out next week and the week after that and the week after that one, see where I’m going with this? Fans show up in record numbers when I’m on the card ready to put on yet another classic. Months from now when Daniel Bryan is on the tail end of his thousandth failed run, or whatever it is at this point, that doesn’t matter… What does matter is that I’ll still be the best thing going in this company while the rest of the roster keeps on wishing they could be half as good as I am.



Dolph Ziggler
As far as I’m concerned, Daniel Bryan stole that win and if he was smart he would take his ball and go home because he’s finally peaked and reached his full potential here in XWL and it’s not going to get any better than this for him. That win doesn’t change the fact that he bores people to tears when he gets into that ring and it damn sure doesn’t change the fact that I  am better than he could ever hope to be. Guys like him and Stone Cold, guys who are hanging on to the business when they have nothing left to offer it, represent the worst of what this business has to offer. Luckily, there’s someone like me around who is just amazing at this and wrestling is like the fifth best thing I do; I can’t help that it comes so easily to me. It’s no wonder they desperately, pathetically, try to be around me as much as they can hoping some of my talent will rub off on them, but there can only be one and I am the one.



Dolph Ziggler
The problem with XWL is that they don’t know about the goldmine that is Dolph Ziggler that they’ve been sitting on and letting rot away instead of, I don’t know… doing the smart thing and giving me the chances that I’ve worked for and that I’ve earned. They don’t realize that with or without the World Championship around my waist I’m still the best damn thing about this company. They probably think that I’ve peaked as World Champion, but that was just the beginning of something special. I may not be in that main event match at Uprising but you better believe that I’m keeping a close eye on it because despite everything that I accomplished in 2013, despite me having the best year of my career, there are people out there saying that I’m a fluke, a one-hit wonder, and now it’s on me go ahead and prove them wrong just as I’ve made a habit of doing my entire life. You see, I thrive under pressure, I live for the spotlight and there’s not a thing that I’ve set my mind to that I haven’t accomplished.

While others were scraping by, I went out and I won the World Heavyweight Championship last year, not once but twice, no big deal. Unfortunately, I didn’t  have the long, glorious run that someone as good as I am should have, and I’m looking to right that wrong as soon as possible. When the two men fighting for the biggest prize in this industry are men that I’ve beaten more times than I can count in Dean Ambrose and Alberto Del Rio, with Ted DiBiase’s ugly mug lurking somewhere around the corner, then you know something has gone terribly wrong, but luckily for XWL, I’m the solution to that problem.

Every single night I go out there and I do what I do best and that’s steal the show. It’s a fact at this point that the people go to their boring 9-5s every day, slaving away at a job they hate and then they go and they spend their hard-earned money to come and see me. Why? Because I’m out here living my dream, I’m out here having the best matches of the show whether I’m in the main event or the first man to step through the curtain. That’s the way it’s been since the beginning and that’s the way it’s going to be until the day I’ve decided that I’ve had enough of being so much better than everyone else… as if.

I love being the best, and at this point it’s not an opinion anymore. People want to say I’m full of myself but you want to know what’s really being arrogant? Claiming you’re the best in the world when your biggest claim to fame over the past couple of years is managing not to lose your job. You want to know what’s arrogant? Talking about how you’re this amazing wrestler, knowing every hold in the book and then getting into that ring and putting the people to sleep. Say what you want about me but it’s not showing off if you back it up and I do back it up by working that much harder than everybody else and it’s only a matter of time before that work pays off… again.

*After a short commercial break, we return to see Seth Rollins with his back turned to the camera with a towel over his wounds on his back and a Powerade in his hand. The cameraman then grabs his shoulder and he instantly turns around and prepares for a fight but instead jsut sees his friend Adam. He then soon begins to speak.*

[Seth Rollins]
Woah man, you know how jumpy I get after matches, especially ones where I don't come out on top. Sorry Adam, but don't do that again.

[Adam The Cameraman]
It's fine. I just wanted to see that raw emotion that Richard Sherman gave last night ya know. Didn't expect that from you dude, are you all right?

[Seth Rollins]
I'm happy as can be Adam! *Seth then sarcastically smiles*

[Adam The Interviewer]
Seth, You've been a little weird these past weeks last week with the darkness and now this attitu-

[Seth Rollins]
Attitude? Oh so I'm just supposed to sit around and pry that the big wigs give me a bone? I take what I want, I love those fans and you're pretty cool Adam but it's Final Stand season and I just want to let someone know.

*Seth then grabs the camera similar to his Shield days and says*

Princess, if you don't give me what I want I'll pay your hubby a visit and Blackout him and his one eyed pony to oblivion so yeah go tell Eric and John to get ready because I'm out of the dark but I can't say the same for you all.

*Seth then drops the camera as Adam barely catches it and he closes up on Seth walking away as Breakdown heads to its next segment.

See Rene, Last week Shawn Michaels showed he is exactly what I said he is. By kicking me in the face last week, he showed he is a bitter old man still looking to hold onto whatever fame he can get. The fact he gets to stop into the ring with me at this stage of his career should be treated like a privilege. I'm in the prime of my career whilst Shawn's career is a downward spiral, he's out of his prime and he's on his final legs. Just like Triple H, They're both trying to hog the spotlight and they know they can't do it alone. Why exactly do you think Hunter challenged me to an handicap match?

Rene moves the microphone about to answer the question but Jericho drags it back

Let me answer that for you Rene, It's because he's a coward. He knows that his victory over me a year ago was a fluke and nothing me, he knows that he will never....ever beat me again, so he needed Shawn to help him...and that's why I challenged Shawn Michaels. I challenged him to prove that no matter what, he will never be as good as Chris Jericho. As much as he tries to hang onto whatever fame he has left, it's slipping away. The high standard set by the mighty Shawn Michaels is falling and at Uprising it's going to reach it's all time low. I'm not just going to beat Shawn Michaels, I'm going to embarrass Shawn Michaels.



[Chris Jericho]
Triple H can be in his corner, because he will just be looking on helplessly knowing he can do nothing to help "The Showstopper" beat me. I'm going to be the one that single handedly takes down D-Generation X once and for all. I will send them to the retirement homes they belong in and I will get back to reclaiming what is rightfully mine, the World Heavyweight Championship. DX are just another obstacle thrown in my way, and Uprising I will overcome that obstacle because I am the best in the world at everything I do.



Jericho just looks off into the distance and smirks as Breakdown fades to commercial

Breakdown cuts backstage to a video labelled as being shot earlier that day.  "The Game" Triple H is shown decked out in DX gear as usual.  He appears to be mid-conversation.



[Triple H]
I really think we got some retribution over Jericho last week.  I mean, who the hell does that guy thinks he is?  First he attacks us with a chair trying to take us out for good, then he calls us old and washed-up?  I'm only a year older than he is!  He deserved a good kick in the face and there's no-one better at that than you Shawn.  I just hope you know what you're doing by signing yourself up for a match against him at Uprising.  Jericho might be a self-righteous prick but he sure as hell has some talent.  Not quite "best in the world" mind you... but I have to admit after the 2013 that guy had compared to us, I think he'd be able to push either of us to our limit and it'd be a pretty close call.



[Shawn Michaels]
Trust me, Hunter.. I know exactly what to expect from Chris Jericho, Just like you.. I've had many battles with Jericho and we've had our fair share of victories. He's taken me to my limit and more on many occasions, I'm not going into Uprising expecting it to be easy but this is my chance to prove that I've still got it, I've proved it by becoming Intercontinental Champion and now I get to prove it by going face to face with one of the best performers this business has to offer, and with you in my corner I know that I can beat Chris Jericho.



[Triple H]
Don't get me wrong, I have complete confidence in you Shawn.  I always have and I always will.  But you know how these matches can go.  Heck, I've been 110% confident I could beat you in the past, yet you somehow pull out the win.  That's what happens when two of the very best get inside the ring... it can easily swing one way or the other.  That's just how it is when you're competing at the top level.  And as much as I hate to admit it, Jericho is up there right alongside us.  Everybody's eyes will be on the World Heavyweight Championship main event, but I wouldn't be surprised if your match stole the show.  



[Triple H]
And stop saying you need to prove yourself.  You're the best of all time!  Nobody doubts that you still have it Shawn.  I thought we were past that.  Our match at The Monster Bash proved you're still one of the best that there is!  It was the turning point of your career... of our careers.  We both recovered from our downward spiral.  That's why I became United States Champion and why you're Intercontinental Champion.  And that's why despite how good Jericho is, I'm sure you'll give him one heck of a fight.  Just promise me that you'll wipe that stupid smirk off his face and mess up that ridiculous spiky hair.




[Shawn Michaels]
Well after what he did to us two weeks ago, I plan to kick him in the face twice as hard as I did last week. Even though we got a little bit of retribution, I don't think we're quite even yet.. I mean, he used a chair on us! A chair! What was he even doing just carrying a chair around? But anyway I think I need to be the one to finally shut Chris Jericho up... Did you see him earlier? Still going on about how we're old..Can you believe it? We're not old! I can't wait to kick whatever is left of his teeth down his throat at Uprising. By the way did you see Seth Rollins earlier? I mean, I have no clue what he was going on about but I'm pretty sure he tried to offend us... I didn't even know who he was till I Googled him.  Apparently he's been around here a while..Who knew?!



[Triple H]
You Googled him?  Shawn, you can barely find the power button on your laptop and I'm pretty sure you have no idea what Google is.  You didn't Google him did you?



[Shawn Michaels]
Damn!  You got me!  I just wanted to sound cool you know...  Be down with the kids and the gadget generation.

[Triple H]
Please don't say that ever again.  But I get your point.  Seth Rollins is a nobody just trying to make a name for himself at our expense.  I don't get why people can only come up with lame insults for us?  Jericho calls us old and Seth calls you a one-eyed pony... well I think he meant you, I don't really know.  The whole promo made little to no sense.  Maybe Rollins has been hanging out with Jeff Hardy.

[Triple H]
Anyway Shawn, come on.  We've got bigger fish to fry... well I have to face Rey... he's not big... so yeah... let's go.

Breakdown fades out to a video package advertising the upcoming PPV..Uprising

As Breakdown continues the cameras are rolling inside the arena as Randy Orton's entrance music starts playing throughout the arena and the crowd start booing the imminent arrival of The Viper



When Orton walks out onto the stage the crowd continue to boo him as he slowly makes his way down to the ring



Michael Cole: And there he is, The Viper, Randy Orton who a few weeks ago at X-Treme X-Mas defeated Scott Hall in a No Disqualification match.

Jim Ross: Hall give him a much bigger fight then he expected, but all it took was a split second and Orton put him away with the RKO.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: It was a gutsy performance by XWL's Most Wanted, he showed a lot of fire and heart, but it just wasn't to be. But if anything he showed to Orton that he certainly isn't done just yet.

Upon reaching ringside Randy slowly turns towards the steel steps and walks up them onto the ring apron and enters the ring as the boos continue from the crowd aimed directly at The Viper

Michael Cole: Oh please, Randy was right about him. He couldn't beat Orton on his best day, just like he said, and now it's time for Orton to go on to bigger and better things.

Jim Ross:  However the question remains just where has Orton been in these past weeks, we haven't seen him since that match against Scott Hall at X-Treme X-Mas.

With Orton in the ring he walks around slowly circling the ring as he's handed a microphone by Justin Roberts and his theme music fades out as boos from the crowd echo around the arena



Randy Orton: A few weeks ago at X-Treme X-Mas I did exactly what I set out to do, I did exactly what I told everyone I would do and I beat Scott Hall right in the middle of the ring. Despite everything the old man had to say for himself I proved that he doesn't belong in this ring any more, certainly not with a superstar the likes of me. I proved it in front of the entire world that Scott Hall is nothing but a washed up old man just praying that he can relive his glory days even though that ship sailed a long time ago. It's sad really, to see a guy like that, a guy who used to have it all, become as mistaken and near enough forgotten as Scott Hall has, who's yet to realise that the entire world has moved on and left him behind in the past. A few weeks ago Scott Hall said I reminded him of when he was young, that I'm a cocky SOB. You're right Scott, you were cocky and guess what you couldn't get the job done not even once, you blew every opportunity you ever had, and that's the difference between you and me, Hall. When you call me cocky I call it simply being better, you can call me cocky, you can call me arrogant, but you can't deny that everything I've ever said I've gone out and proved, every goal I've ever set myself I've obtained, every brass ring dangled in front of me I've grabbed and every superstar that's stepped in my way I've gone through them and left them laying in the middle of the ring.

As the crowd boo Orton he pauses momentarily as he soaks up the boos from the crowd before speaking again



Randy Orton: Call it cocky, call it whatever you want, at the end of the day Scott I am NOTHING like what you used to be, and you never will be anything like me, no matter how much you want to be, it's just not going to happen. Even in his prime Scott Hall will never compare to me, not now and not on his very best day, and that's just how it goes. So what I suggest you do, Hall is you pack your bags and go home while you still can and thank me for allowing you to leave on your own two feet and not riding in the back of an Ambulance last week, and just like I said last week when I beat Scott Hall that the entire locker room better be watching very closely to everything I did to him, because the very next guy who steps in my way will suffer the very same fate as Scott Hall did last week, and there's not a thing they can do about. My name is Randy Orton and that means I am better, it means I am a superior, it means I am the Apex Predator of XWL, the most dangerous man in this business today or at any other time.

As Orton speaks he slowly patrols the ring signifying the ring belong to him and no one else



Randy Orton: So the question is, what's next for Randy Orton? The answer is simple... Absolutely anything I want. When you're just this good, when you're The Viper, when you are THE Apex Predator of XWL you can do anything that you want to do, and that's exactly what I plan on doing, so everybody is the back better be paying very close attention to me right now because whoever steps in my way will find themselves being put on the shelf for good after I kick them in the skull and hit them with an RKO. And later on tonight that's exactly what Roman Reigns will find out when he steps into the ring with me. I've heard all of the talk about and call him what you will, wherever he's one of the top young stars in XWL, he's a man bent of destruction, some people may even think he's the future face of this industry, a man who deserves to be feared, but all I see when I look at Roman Reigns is a man who's just took one step too far and tonight when the bell rings he'll realize that he's just taken one bite he can't chew. See while you've defeated superstar after superstar Roman, you and I both know that you've never stepped in the ring with the likes of me.

As Orton pauses he continues to slowly circle the ring, taking his time with everything he has to say making sure everybody has their attention focused on him



Randy Orton: And tonight when that bell rings, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about, one day you might very well be the future of XWL, but tonight you're going up against the present. You're going up against me, you're going up against the most dangerous man in the business today, and after tonight you and everybody else will find out why the Age of Orton... has only just begun.

With that said Orton drops his microphone in the middle of the ring as The Viper stands tall in the middle of the ring as the crowd start to boo him again as he soaks up all of the voices of the XWL fans in the arena as the cameras slowly fade out to a promotional video for the United States champion Antonio Cesaro

The crowd deliver a loud pop for the self proclaimed Best In The World as he begins his journey down the ramp and into the ring with Paul Heyman by his side. BITW signs are seen all over the arena which are refering to CM Punk to bring a smile across his face as he takes a mic out of his pocket and begins to speak.

King: Oh man, you know when CM Punk has the mic, he has something good to say.

JR: You got that right King.

As Punk brings the mic to his mouth, a voice is heard through out the arena to confuse not only him but the crowd as well.

Hey Punk! Punk up here.

CM Punk looks to the titantron with a look of disgust across his face as he is staring at none other than the IT Factor! Bobby Roode.

Surprised to see me? I bet you're just as confused as the rest. Let me explain myself. Last time I was here, I injured my former tag team partner simply because he used me. I alligned myself with him and it left me with nothing so I took it upon myself to take him out. Afterwards I came up missing. Well i'm back in the XWL and I got a lot of bad blood. While you're here worrying about little peep shows, i'm at home signing the rest of my contracts. It's official now that Bobby Roode will be at XWL Breakdown next week. And that's where you come in Punk. You see, I've never liked you. Hell, I usually change the channel when I see you. But the fact that you still call yourself the best in the world makes me sick. Many of come to claim that title but so few have actually proved it. You haven't proved that your the best in the world. Championships may be one thing, but to be the best......you've got to beat the best.

Punk grows a knowing smile across his face as he knows where this is going.

Punk, you've never.....ever beaten me. Hell, we've never faced each other. That's why I am targeting you. You are my going to be my stepping stool. The one man I can completely dominate and take my spot back at the top as the Best Wrestler In The World. That's a title that you have to constantly defend and sadly, you've lost it a long time ago. I want you at Uprising. I want to beat you in front of all your fans so they know your exact place in this society. I'm the man that's going to set you straight and send you to the bottom of that hill Punk. I'm a dangerous man and I know how to make it in this company. The question is, do you know how to deal with a man of my caliber? Can you put up with one of the best to ultimatley claim yourself as the Best In The World? Or are you going to turn down my challenge and take the new title as The Best Coward In The World? Either way works with me Punk. Even if you do accept this match. And I do beat you, which I will, you can follow me in my quest to the top as I am and forever will be the Leader Of The Selfish Generation.



Punk stares up at the titantron, the look of disgust that once showed itself on his face is now replaced by a look of confusion. He scratches his head, he runs his hand over his face before rubbing his chin just trying to think of what to say. He raises the microphone to his mouth but something very uncommon for the Voice of the Voiceless as he fails to speak, he lowers the microphone and starts pacing back and forth around the ring before walking over to Paul Heyman and raising the microphone to his mouth

[[Punk]]:: I can't believe I'm about to say this...

Punk looks as though he is disgusted with himself at what he is about to say, he stares at the floor before managing to bring himself to look Heyman in the eye and once again bring the microphone to his mouth...

[[Punk]]:: In the words of the man that I have spent the better part of my time butting heads with. Paul, who in the blue hell is that?! Punk points at the titantron

A loud pop comes from the capacity crowd as Punk utters his most associated rivals phrase. Punk walks up to the camera, the look of confusion is replaced by a little smirk, he does a little wave and can be heard saying “Hi Dwayne”. He turns back to face Bobby Roode on the titantron, he looks back at Heyman for confirmation that this is happening before raising the microphone to his mouth once again.



[[Punk]]:: I get what you're trying to do, really I do but do you really want to go down this road? You want a make a name for yourself, you want to make an impact so you got yourself a camera and you got the people in the back to project your little cute face on the titantron and now you want to run your mouth about me and about what I say and what I do. Like I said, cute. Your idea does have one true flaw though, I can understand why you decided to hide away in the back or wherever you are speaking to me from because you know as well as I and these people know, that if you stepped foot in this ring and interrupted me like you just did that I would shove my foot down your throat. Luckily for you, you actually thought some of through and it would've almost been the perfect crime had you not waited that one second too long because your one flaw in this grand scheme of yours was you gave me time to get one of these. Punk raises his microphone high in the air and as he does he receives a large cheer from the fans

Punk walks over to Paul Heyman

[[Punk]]:: What's his name again?

[Heyman]: Bobby

Punk nods and turns his attention back to the titantron



[[Punk]]:: Listen Robbie. It's one thing to try and beat me inside the ring because that alone is an impossible task and had you tried to take me out straight away you may have got some sympathy from these people but people have no sympathy for the moronic. Instead, you did what you thought was playing it safe, you claim I am a coward yet you are the one hiding away while I stand in my ring in front of these people and I am always looking for a fight, so trust me when I tell you, you wouldn't have had to try hard to get one but instead you decided you wanted to verbally bash me. Your head may be in the clouds, you might believe you are better than you are but to have the idea in your head to make your return by having a war of words with CM Punk? People thought I have a big ego? It's suicide, the greats have stood across from me in this ring with a microphone in hand and they have tried to take me apart piece by piece and they all come to the realisation that they can't touch me. They can't leave a mark on me, Chris Jericho, Mick Foley, The Rock, Triple H and the list goes on and on and on, the best talkers that this industry has ever seen and every single one of them has looked like a child in comparison to me!



[[Punk]]:: But I get it, you're looking to make a name for yourself so you come and you try your luck with the biggest name of all. You're doing the same old routine that everybody else has tried to do, you're trying to make your fame and fortune at my expense and it is a noble task, everyone in the back right now is looking at you with starry eyes in a hope that you can accomplish what you have set out to do, that you can do the impossible and maybe, just maybe that there is hope for the rest of them but everything that they are hoping for, everything that you are hoping to achieve are just dreams, just an idea that you have had in your mind for a long time but have never been able to reach them and that's where I come in because for a long time I have been the hard dose of reality that is required in these situations, I am the one that makes you realise you cannot make your dreams a success, I'm the one that brings your dreams to a halt and brings them shattering down around your feet.

Punk walks over to Paul Heyman

[[Punk]]:: Paul, exactly how many people have tried to make their success off of my name?

Heyman thinks quickly, he rubs his chin as he does before coming out with an answer

Heyman nods, adjusts his tie and begins to ramble off a list of names and as he does Punk sticks out another finger to count

[[Punk]]:: Check!

Punk waves and signals for Heyman to stop

[[Punk]]:: Now let me ask you Paul, exactly how many of those superstars listen actually succeeded in their task?

Punk turns back and faces the titantron



[[Punk]]:: Not a damn one! Now you want to test your luck? You sit there and you tell me what you have done in this company? As though it means anything to me, you beat up your ex-tag team partner? Congratulations, I beat up people every night of every week and I don't do it to because I believe they are using me or whatever pathetic excuse you gave, I do it to prove the fact that I am the better than everybody else on this roster. You claim it takes more than Championships to be the best? Then you claim to be the best? Well that's lucky for you because haven't held any Championships now have you Bobby? You haven't achieved a damn thing, you say you attacked your partner as though it's supposed to impress me and then you question why I call myself the best? You question why I have earned the right to call myself the best? You're right, many people have tried to throw their name on that moniker and it has never stuck because they have failed to prove that fact but I have been proving that fact ever since I walked into this company.

Punk walks back over to Heyman

Punk turns to face the titantron again



[[Punk]]:: I'm the Best because unlike everyone else who happens to stumble into success around here, I don't wear a suit backstage, I don't kiss up to every single one of the owners just to try and get my foot in the door. What you see, is what you get and I didn't get to where I am in this company with help from the XWL Owners, officials, admins, mods or whatever else you want to call them. I got to where I am in spite of them! I have had a chip on my shoulder since the day I walked into this company and they made it clear that they didn't want me near the World Championship, they made it clear that they wanted to keep me as far away from Dwayne as they could and when I gave them no other option then they placed me in a match where all of the odds were against me and I still came out on top with the World Heavyweight Championship! I am not the Best because I simply say it, I am the Best because I prove in day after day, night after night, month after month, year after year and there is not a single damn person on this roster that can get close enough to even think about competing on my level!

Heyman can be seen behind CM Punk, a smile grows across his face as he witnesses Punk work his magic on the microphone in front of him



[[Punk]]:: You're right, if you want to be the best you've got to beat the Best. Well I'm standing tall in this ring and there are a lot of bodies scattered by my feet of the men who have tried and have failed to earn the right to call themselves the best. I think I'm going to follow your lead a little hear Bobby, as the “Leader of the Selfish Generation” whatever the hell that is you might understand where I'm coming from. I will admit, I'm feeling a little bit selfish right now, I'm feeling the need to give myself a present because there is nothing more that I want to do right now is knock your teeth out but sadly you're hiding at home right now, signing away on the dotted line and getting this idea in your head that you are actually worth investing in. So enjoy your little rest while you can, live the life of a free man while you have the opportunity but come Uprising know this in the back of your mind there better men have tried and better men have failed, men with pasts that you could only wish to achieve and all of them have fallen by my hand and it may not be now, it may not be next week but some time between now and the PPV there will be a moment of realisation, where you realise that you have just bitten off more than you can chew and trust me, I will be there to see that look in your eye and I will be the one to remove it when I put you to sleep. A loud cheer spreads through the XWL Universe as Punk agrees to Roode's challenge for Uprising

I've bitten off more than I could chew? You know Punk, I knew you were going to do this. That's exactly what I wanted. I wanted to exchange words but it seems that you misunderstood me. When I said I was targetting you and that you need to beat the best to be the best. I meant just that. You have to beat me before you can claim to be the best in the world. Now of course you're going to use that title all you want. Sure you survived the Elimination Chamber. Sure you were the first United States Champion. But you know what Punk? I'm going to take the torch away from you. You won't pass the Torch down to me because i'm above you. I've always been above you whether you want to admit it or not. And it's finally that time where Bobby Roode takes over. Soon you'll realize that when you say i'm irrelevent, your bound to be shown up. I want this match to use you as an example Punk. I want this match so that I can prove to the entire world that i'm the best and it's my time to take XWL in my hand and rule it with an iron fist.



Bobby raises his clenched fist up in front of the camera to go with what he's saying.

You make a lot of false claims in your career though Punk. The most obvious one is that you claim that you're the best. You claim that you've beaten them all.....but you've never beaten me. And you will never beat me. I'm that one man that blocks the sun for you. I won't allow any light to shine on your path of success which will lead to you being lost in the wilderness of your own dispair as you look up at me on top of everything that you ever wanted. And if you even think about climbing out of the hole that you dug, I'll push you right back in there. I'll always be there to make sure you never get back to where you were because you simply just didn't deserve it one bit. That's why you're standing in this ring empty handed and making false claims to add on to your history of being a big mouthed punk who gets himself into these situations that cause you to struggle to get out alive from. Well I can promise you that you won't struggle to get out alive because after Uprising you're career is going to equivalent to a dead man.

Heyman looks to be bringing the mic to his mouth before Bobby cuts him off.

Oh no, i'm not done just yet. You both are going to just stand there and listen to what I got to say. Sadly I can't be in that arena tonight since I am not due to return until next week. If you want to meet me in that ring then you'll have to wait for an ass beating because Punk, i'm not the kind of guy to just take a beating. I'm the type of guy that'll take all the pain I've endured over the years and times it by two just so I know how much I should hurt you. I wouldn't keep talking smack about the IT Factor of professional wrestling if I was you because everything you do, I'll do it better. I'll show you up in ever aspect of your life to the point where you finally confess that Bobby Roode is better than.....C....M.....Punk! I know how bad it hurts you to actually talk negatively about yourself for once, but either way you're going to get hurt. Because i'm a tough man Punk. If you step on my toes, I'll beat you to a bloody pulp and you'll have no choice but to become a drug addict from all the pain pills you'll need to take.

Trust me when I say this. You may act like you don't even know my name. But I promise you that you'll hear it loud and clear as you're lying down on your back and my name is announced as the winner. You'll just be left there in broken pieces that I'll send to your friends back in Chicago. That'll be a reminder for them as they look at you as a loser. Someone who once talked big but soon formed a bubble that ultimately made a distance between you and the top of the mountain. While you're drifting away Punk, the days will change and we will no longer be standing in the Era Of CM Punk. The skies will change and you will all witness the Roode Era. The point in time where I dominate the wrestling scene for years to come. I'll leave a trail of forgotten souls behind me and make history every single week. It will no longer be about you. It'll always be about me. I'm above XWL and Uprising is the time and place to prove it. So lace up your boots and get ready for a fight Punk. I'll just have you know that Bobby Roode doesn't lose matches. The only choices you got in this situation is either to lay down and take the beating like a man or become a fool in the presence of a king!

Bobby Roode has an intense glare in his eye, feeling as though what he said may have put some worry in the mind of CM Punk but he may be disheartened to see CM Punk with a smile on his face, without the slight of glimpse of worry on his face



[[Punk]]:: Oh, trust me I knew exactly what you meant Bobby. See, truth is you can tell the World you're going to do this and you're going to do that and they will take note of every little detail that you are saying and you certainly have the advantage in that court. You see I have a lot of history in this company, a lot of this well known and you could just look that up and tell everyone that you're going to make that meaningless. Where as I do not have that advantage Bobby because at the end of the day you have done nothing since the day you walked into this company, you were billed as the next top guy and you failed to show up yet alone reach the level that was expected of you and now you want to claim that you're the Best? Bobby, I hate to be the guy to have to tell you this but you're a nobody! You sit on that screen and you throw your threats and do you know what it does? Nothing, not a damn thing because there is nothing you can say, nothing that you can do that will bother me because I have had bigger, badder and people with more to prove come after me and I have sent them all packing. All you are achieving is digging yourself a deeper grave and I will be the person to kick you inside it.

Punk walks over to the ropes and begins to lean over them



[[Punk]]:: You want to say I make false claims? Well that is as false as it comes because you can search the back, you can personally find Dwayne and you can just ask him because God knows I have never said more smack than facing him, that I have never set the bar so high for myself before and everything that I said was proven right, everything that I claimed I was going to do happened and as a matter of fact go in the back and find every person I have ever faced, you look them in the eye as they tell you as they sat before me just like you're doing now and they felt all high and mighty, they felt like they were going to be the guy to do the impossible and then wound up just like the rest of them. You think you're the first Bobby? Do you believe that you're the first guy to try and do what you're trying to accomplish, this is a weekly occurance for me Bobby and when all is said and done you're going to be nothing more than another W in my win column.



[[Punk]]:: So speak your threats, make your claims because come Uprising I hope you actually have half the ability that you're claiming you do because you have set the bar very high for yourself Bobby. You don't have to worry about me stepping on your toes, what you have to worry about is me putting knees to faces because come Uprising you're going to have no other choice then to climb inside the lions den with the baddest of them all and everything that you have said, everything that you have claimed is just going to make me beat you down all the more worse because I am never out just to win a match, I am never out just to gain the victory, each and every time I step into that ring I am in there to prove that I am better than whoever I am facing and more importantly that I am the Best in the World! It's not me that should be concerned Bobby, I have the history and the experience that proves I can back up what I claim but come the PPV when you're lying on your back looking up at the stars, you will have nothing to show that this is just a bump in the road, all it will prove is that you're just another person who over-estimated his abilities and got his ass handed to him by the Best in the World!



Punk drops the microphone as his theme once again blasts through the arena speakers but it almost goes unheard due to the "CM Punk, CM Punk" chants that are ringing throughout the arena. Punk stares up at the titantron before waving bye and Bobby Roode's live feed cuts, returning the titantron back to normal. Punk can be seen tapping his wrist to signal the time before Paul Heyman comes over and shows Punk his watch, who taps the watch and can be heard saying “It's almost time”. The cameras then cut into a commercial break.

*As Breakdown returns from it's last segment we hear the sound of a familiar theme.*



*At the sound of this theme the crowd lets out a huge mixed reaction, the split comes from those who love the DX Army and those who can see where Seth is coming from or who don't like DX that much. Seth comes out expecting the same reaction he's been getting these past few months but when he hears the boos in there he realizes what he's done, he stops moshing and just walks down the ramp holding his hand out for slaps but only a few people do it while everyone just gives him a blank stare or some even boo.*

[King]
Seth didn't expect this.

[Cole]
How can you not expect it from these fickle fans? I still don't like Seth because he's a pansy for apologizing to that stupid cameraman but what he said was the truth.

[JR]
Guys, I think Seth's just under some pressure right now, I mean It's Final Stand season we all are, but threatening the GM ins't the best move.  Especially when it's a McMahon and DX are the champs.

*Seth then heads to the ring and then grabs a mic from the ring announcer and you can hear him say "Thanks" he then turns to the camera and begins to speak.*

[Seth Rollins]
Look guys, I know what I said was a spur of the moment.

*Seth then looks down at the canvas for a few quick moments scratching the back of his head, not knowing how to explain calling out the fan favorites, Triple H and Shawn Michaels.*

[Seth Rollins]
It's just that I.........



*Seth then looks down at the ground for a few moments the crowd has become restless and has started to chant "Boring!"

[Seth Rollins]
I'm the best damn wrestler that this company has ever seen! That's right I've said it, I know what you're thinking "Who doesn't say that" yeah chant boring now but when I hold a title up at Final Stand you'll pay attention.

[Seth Rollins]
I have the daredevil mind of Jeff Hardy, the showmanship of a young Shawn Michaels, the razor sharp mic skills of Punk and the technical prowness of a Jericho. Don't believe me? I've beaten Dean Ambrose and the Miz in big time matches and I'm undefeated at Final Stand. And that's not going to change. Did I mention that I also beat Triple H in the Finals of King Of The Ring 2012? I don't think Trips forgot about me,he just wants to. And he wants you people to believe it. Honestly though, DX are good guys but that doesn't mean a damn thing to me. They've gotten targets on their back. Well Shawn does anyways. And they say he's the weak link huh?

*The crowd then does a big "Ohhhhhhhhhhhh" chant and then most start to boo.*

[Seth Rollins]
*Seth then smirks* Whatever. You can add Stone Cold and The Rock to people I share traits with because I don't care who you are, if you're standing in my way to the World Heavyweight Championship, you're getting Blacked Out. Love me or hate me people but in a few months I WILL be on those posters and coffee cups and you will respect me! Believe That!

*Seth then drops the mic forcefully and then sticks his tongue out disrespectfully sending a message to a certain general manager as Breakdown heads to the next segment.*

The camera goes to a shot of our World Heavyweight Champion backstage as he exits his locker room, Alberto Del Rio seems all smiles following last week with Ricardo in tow.

Up next our World Champion Alberto Del Rio has been asked to join us at ringside, he will be guest commentating this next match-up with us.

{Michael Cole}
Why? Why on earth does he need to be out here?!

{Jim Ross}
Because, possibly, XWL wanted the fans to hear the perspective of the top guy in company about some up and coming talent?

{Michael Cole}
Who cares! He got lucky against Miz and now he's gonna lose to Dean, I don't see the point!

{Jim Ross}

Don't bother J.R.


The camera cuts back to Alberto and Ricardo who start laughing and discussing what they plan doing once they get to the ringside. Just as they turn the corner ALBERTO GETS BLASTED! The camera spins around to see none other than Alberto's challenger Dean Ambrose standing above him.


{Jim Ross}
Oh, this is not good...


Dean stalks over Alberto for a few moments before he snaps and starts viciously stomping Del Rio up and down the body, each stomp more vicious than the last as he just stares with the look of hate built up on his face. He stops kicking but only for enough time to allow him to drop down to a single knee, grab Albert's head, and start firing closed right hands to the champions head!


{Jerry Lawler}
Is no one back there that can stop this?!


Ambrose starts raking at Alberto's eyes feverishly, grabbing him by the face and dragging him up. As he does this he feels a shot to the gut as Alberto manages to start firing off fists to Ambrose's abdomen! The fans erupt as their champ starts firing back! Alberto breaks Dean's grip and stands up on his own, measuring and connecting with a fist to Dean's head! He pumps himself up and goes to fire another fist but as he does Dean throws a kick right to the groin of the champion. Alberto collapses to his knees and Ambrose glares down at him.


{Michael Cole}
If you're going to jump a guy at least fight like a man!


Dean tees off a few more shot to Alberto's head before grabbing Alberto by the back of the head and gets him to his feet. He yanks and pulls him over to a lunch table backstage. He throws Berto into the wall next to it as he starts throwing all the food that's resting on the table to the ground. Dean immediately goes to the champion once it's cleared off and slams him head first onto the table! He repeats this again and again till Del Rio seems out cold. He then goes and props up Alberto, placing him face down onto the table. The camera looks to Ambrose's face which now has a maniacal grin on it. He walks to the other side of the table and starts to climb up onto a equipment crate!


{Jim Ross}
Dean, you've made your point! Stop it!

{Michael Cole}
Finally someone is standing up to Alberto!

{Jerry Lawler}
Cole! Shut up!


Dean raises his hypothetical gun and pulls the trigger, leaping from the crate and delivering a splash that sends both men crashing through the table!! Dean rolls out from the wreckage holding his ribs, clearly in pain, but chuckling at what he has done to the champion. Dean gets to his feet and starts walking away, but something stops him. He turns around and sees Alberto pulling himself from the broken pieces of the table. Dean storms back over and grabs Del Rio by the hair but before Dean can do anything else Alberto mutters something at Ambrose.


{Alberto Del Rio}
Is that all you got......puta.


Alberto smiles as Dean starts to shift but Alberto spits right into his assaulter's face?! Dean's expression goes to that of blind rage he get Alberto to his feet and wraps his arm around his neck and hooks his arm behind his back, locking in a crossface chicken wing! He immediately wrestles the champion to the ground and starts berating him as he chokes him out!




{Dean Ambrose}
Who's the prey now, Alberto?! Huh?!


Dean starts wrenching the neck and trying to choke him out! Alberto struggles for a few moments before he slowly starts fading. His arm goes from flailing in the air to being limp as Ambrose finally relinquishes his hold and gets to his feet.




{Dean Ambrose}
This is just the beginning, Del Rio, the pain you're feeling now will be nothing compared to what I have in store for you at Uprising.


Ambrose continues to stare at his fallen adversary until he hears the yelling of Ricardo accompanied by security and medical assistance coming from the distance. Ambrose makes his signature gun gesture once again and backs off Del Rio, taking off in the other direction. The medical staff and Ricardo check over the unconscious Alberto while security goes and hunts for Dean as the show goes to commercial.
