*As we return, it is announced by the commentators that it is now time for a special interview conducted by Michael Cole. Cole steps into the ring with a microphone and begins speaking.*



-Michael Cole-
"Can I have your attention please?! Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to welcome you all to a brand new segment I like to call, 'Cole's Corner'."

*Boos begin to fill the arena.*

-Michael Cole-
"It would be greatly appreciated if you would all please remain quiet until I'm finished, thank you. Now earlier today I was approached the the board of directors to come in this ring tonight and conduct an interview with a man. A man that at Digital Decision, cost another man a very important match in his career. That man of course being 'The Animal' Batista."

*The crowd beings to cheer for Batista.*

-Michael Cole-
"As I said before, please hold your applause for me until after I am finished."

*The crowd resorts back to boos.*

-Michael Cole-
"So Dave, I know you're back there. So come on out here and get this over with."

*There is silence for a moment and the crowd starts a 'You Suck' chant directed at Michael Cole. The chant turns into cheers as Batista's music begins to play throughout the arena.*



*Batista, in causal clothing, walks out onto the stage with a microphone in hand. He pauses for a second to look out into the crowd. He makes his way down the ramp and up the stairs. He stops before entering the ring and stares down Michael Cole.*



*Batista steps in the ring and paces back and forth for a few moments, staring into the crowd. Michael Cole begins to speak.*



-Michael Cole-
"Now Dave..."

*Michael Cole is interrupted by Batista.*

-Batista-
"Get out."

-Michael Cole-
"But Dave, the board of directors asked...."

-Batista-
"Michael, I don't care what the board of directors asked you to do. I am telling you to get out."

-Michael Cole-
"Dave, just answer...."

-Batista-
"Cole! I already know what you're here for. Either you leave this ring or I will snap you like the toothpick you are."

*Cole quickly hurries out of the ring and returns to the commentary table. The audience is laughing at Cole.*

-Batista-
"Like dealing with a little kid. Well now that Cole's gone, I can talk about what I want to talk about. My match tonight against Wade Barrett. Now Wade and I have a bit of history. I just want you to know Barrett, what happened in the past means nothing now. I am a new and improved Batista. A whole new animal. An animal this company has never seen before. Wade, I will tear through you just like I have been tearing through all my opponents week after week, excluding the last edition of Redemption due to R-Truth's flight being delayed. But tonight, if you're think that you're gonna walk into an easy fight, you've got another thing coming. Because you Wade are...."

*A familiar theme song begins to play as the audience begins to boo. Batista looks up the stage waiting for the man to walk out onto it.*





*A few seconds pass until Crimson walks onto the stage and starts making his way down to the ring*




*Once he's in the ring he asks for a microphone*

Ladies and gentlemen this is Batista this is the man who's a former Mr Money in the bank, the man who forced MVP to leave XWL last year. This is a true failure, In fact wasn't he thrown into a car windscreen by Brodus Clay ? Here he is now trying to send the very man he failed to take advantage of with his money in the bank contract, Wade Barrett. Tonight they're going to have a match Wade's going to win again, But no one cares about that what people care about is why Dave here cost me my match at Digital Decision why he came out just before I won the match and why he was mocking me after the match. You see boys and girls Dave here was motivated by the simplest of feelings, Jealousy. He couldn't stand the fact that he was undefeated yet in my first match back since pinning Brock Lesnar on Breakdown earlier this year I was headlining a pay per view event. It burned him on the inside, When it came time to pick superstars to compete at Digital Decision Vickie chose me instead of him. She chose some one that hadn't competed in the ring for a few months over some one that was stringing victories together one after the other and you just couldn't handle it. So what did you doabout it ? Did you accept my open challenge ? No you cost me an easy win then stood and watched as Kurt Angle ran past you and hit me in the back. You just couldn't handle the fact that despite all the things you'd done in the past, I was, am and alway will be considered better than you.



*As Batista is about to speak, but is interrupted by a loud 'You Suck' chant directed toward Crimson. Batista looks down and grins. As he looks up, he regains his serious demeanor and begins to speak again.*



-Batista-
"You want to know why I walked out there at Digital Decision? It is because of this right here. How you believe that you're the best in XWL. How you believe that you're the best in this entire industry. You have been telling yourself for so long that you are 'the best', that you actually started believing it. What I did at Digital Decision was a wake up call. Did it work? Obviously not seeing you're out here tonight, saying you're better than me. Crimson, if we ever had a match, we both know you would be leaving on a stretcher. But back on subject, each and every week, you show up on these people's screens saying the same old spiel about how you're the best. How you will be champion someday. How no one can stop you. Well Crimson, I think it's time you put your money where your mouth is."

*The audience begins to cheer.*

Crimson
What is wrong with you ? Can't two grown men just have a normal conversation without any violence ? Dave, I'm not like you I'm actually going to hold a championship one day soon. I'm the man who pinned Brock Lesnar after 20 minutes of physical pain, I'm the man that beat Big Show within an inch of his life at Digital Decision. Then there's you the man who's done absolutley nothing recently, The man who's the star of some of the world's worst movie's ever. If you think I'm deceiving you go ahead and watch "House of the rising sun" He plays the main character in that and it sucks. The reason that I appear on people's screens every week is because I'm what they want to see, I'm Redemptions number one athlete and to be honest you're just not good enough to be allowed to speak your mind. Vickie knows that you're not popular anymore, You lost all your popularity when Brodus Clay threw you onto a car windscreen.

*Batista gives Crimson a frustrated stare after the Brodus Clay remark. After a couple seconds Batista begins to speak again.*



-Batista-
"You know Crimson, you keep bringing up Brodus Clay. I just want to let you and everyone in on something. Between Brodus and I, who is still here? That's right me. Between Brodus, who in this point in time is more relevant? Right again, me. Like I said before, what happened in the past, stays in the past. I am a whole new animal, the same animal that currently is on a winning streak that will not stop tonight. These people, the wonderful people of Los Angeles, *cheap pop* don't want to see you. I bet half of them don't even know who you are. There are no signs for you, no one bought your t-shirt. So what does that mean? I think you know exactly what it means. But I'll go ahead and say it for you, it means that the person these people don't care about...is YOU. But Crimson, I am disappointed in you. We may be two grown men, but we are also wrestlers. What do wrestlers do? They hurt each other, but it's alright. I mean, I understand you're scared and all..."

*Batista is quickly interrupted by Crimson.*

I fear no one ! You, However fear that one day the fans will abandon you and favour someone else. Dave, You can go on and on about the "animal" that you are and that's up to you. I'm better than you because I don't give into my animal nature and go off running about like a headless chicken to get the job done. I have self control I can win without hitting someone repeatedly, Having said that if I have to then i'll rip the head off whatever poor soul gets in my way. The fact is if it wasn't for your history in this industry you wouldn't even be under contract with XWL, In order to get the fans' admiration which I personally think is pointless anyway, You have to compliment the city that we're visiting in order to get any kind of reponse. It's not your fault you have the charisma of a toilet seat, Even Mason Ryan was more charismatic than you are right now. All that other stuff aside I do have to confess a slight ounce of respect for you and it would be a great honour if you accept a hand shake as a sign of mutual respect between us both.

Crimson places his mic on the floor and extends his hand. Batista's obviously puzzled and starts looking around the arena as he tries to decide what to do. A few moments pass until Batista starts smiling and accepts the hand shake, As Batista pulls his hand away Crimson delivers a swift kick into Batista's groin causing him to fall to his knees before lying on his side in pain. With Batista down Crimson stands over Batista and can be heard shouting "Who's scared now ?" at Batista who's still in alot of pain before Breakdown fades to the next segment

United States Championship Match




Kane vs. Shawn Michaels
With Daniel Bryan out of the picture, Kane's victory earlier in the night has earned him this huge opportunity. Will the Big Red Machine utilize his size to his advantage and end the seemingly unstoppable United States Championship reign of Shawn Michaels? Or will Shawn prove why he is the showstopper for the second night in a row and put away yet another challenger?

With the mystery of Layla's opponent now solved, Michelle McCool heads into her first Divas Championship match in over a year, but to become a six time champion she'll have to do what's been seemingly impossible for others to do, and that's defeat the flawless one herself, Layla. Can she do it? Or will Layla lay-out yet her former tag-team partner two nights in a row? The history is rich between these two, but only one will be walking out of Los Angeles as Divas Champion, so who will it be?

Bah gawd! That kick caught Michelle straight across the temple, she's gotta be out cold!

Michelle's hesitation at points in this match may have just cost her the Divas Championship.

In the ring Layla collapses on top of McCool, exhausted more than she thought she'd be but positive that this is it.

No!!! McCool somehow some way flies her shoulder off the canvas leaving Layla in a state of shock.

{King}
She kicked out?!

{JR}
Indeed she did, McCool's showing a side of her that we haven't seen in a very long time. I'm almost amazed at her will to stay in this match, especially after how she clearly didn't want to cause harm to her BFF.

{Michael Cole}
That had to be a slow count, no one kicks out of Layla's kicks, they're instant knockouts!

{King}
Somehow Michelle did, Layla looks absolutely flabbergasted




Layla turns her attention to the unlucky referee and begins to yell at him insisting that was three. That there was no way a loser like Michelle McCool could kick out of what's put many away in the past, but he insists it was just two. Still she's not satisfied, she continues to yell at him refusing to believe that she didn't win just there. But all this bickering to the referee gives Michelle a chance to recover, and knowing this might be her only chance to get back into this she runs up behind Layla rolling her up with her shoulders trapped against the mat with no way to free herself from the position of the pin.

No, Layla uses every ounce of stretch she has to thrust her arm off the canvas despite the weight against it.



{Michael Cole}
Talk about a close one!



Both take a minute to get up to their feet, exhaustion has set in and neither have much left in the tank, Layla glares at McCool almost angry that she hasn't been beaten as easily as she had convinced herself that she would be. While Michelle looks at Layla, almost as if she feels bad at the thought of ending her reign. The two slowly step forward, Michelle throws her hand mouthing "let's finish this" with a smile on her face, Layla looks at her for a second, then a smile appears on her face too, McCool seems grateful that maybe this match has gotten Layla to see her as her equal again, but just as Layla is about to shake Michelle's hand, she spins back with a straight shot kick to the gut, then runs past her over to the corner, leaping off the canvas landing on the bottom rope, and propelling herself onto the second before jumping back with a cross body attempt, but McCool quickly gets out of dodge and Layla eats the mat and immediately feels the effects of the collision with the hard canvas.

That had to hurt!

{Michael Cole}
Layla might have a concussion! This match needs to stop, she needs medical aid!

{King}
Cole, I actually like Layla and even I think that's stupid.



McCool falls back against the ropes breathing heavy, she holds her ribs from that hard kick Layla just struck her with, and although she's still emotional over this whole thing, she's annoyed that Layla would cheap shot her like that after everything they've been through. Layla makes her way up to her knees holding her stomach in pain, McCool walks over to her looking at her, unsure of what to do next, Layla however knows what her next move and stands up to her feet extending her hand with a smile, Michelle looks at her, she was just fooled a minute ago, she knows this is too goo to be true, and slaps Layla's hand away. Annoyed that her plan didn't work, Layla meets her with a hard slap straight across the face! Just then a fan yells out "Kick her in the face Michelle!" Layla turns her head shouting "As if that'll happen!" but just when she turns back around shes met by a charging Michelle McCool that sends her flying back with a big boot straight to the face!


{King}
Whoa! What a kick!

{JR}
I don't think any of us expected that...Michelle's been holding back this entire match, not wanting to do it, but I think she's been met by one to many disrespectful acts, and she's going for it!



The fans have all jumped to their feet cheering as loud as they can at the sight of Michelle almost letting lose her anger on the extremely hated Layla. Layla just lies on the mat stunned by the sickening kick, but more so by the fact that Michelle actually had the guts to do it. Michelle then places her hands over her face, almost regretting it for a moment, feeling bad over what she's done, but she looks around hearing the cheering fans, it's a sight she's not seen for a very long time, and she turns her attention back to Layla pulling her off the canvas, sets her right in between her legs preparing to hit the Faith Breaker! The cheers get louder and louder, she hesitates though, still a part of her not wanting to do it, but lifts Layla up finally primed and in position to secure her sixth Divas Championship reign right here, but her slow acting has given Layla time to recover, just enough to know her surroundings, and with that kicks her brace protected leg back bouncing it straight off Michelle's skull and instantly the mood changes as she falls back completely knocked out and Layla lands right on top of her bending her leg forward in quick cover!

{Michael Cole}
Who cares, JR! She's still the Divas Champion!

As much joy as that brings me, it looked like Michelle was just about to win the Divas Championship...It was almost a last ditch effort that paid off unfortunately for McCool.


Layla's theme continues to sound throughout the arena as she pushes Michelle out of the way and kneels down with a devious smile and soon is presented with her title.



Finally the referee is able to help her up to her feet and raise her hand as she holds her title up high to an incredible amount of boos. If these fans didn't like her before they certainly aren't pleased with her after basically cheating her friend out of the title just a minute ago.

{Michael Cole}
Another challenger bites the dust and Layla proves why she's Divas Champion here tonight!

{JR}
But did she really? Michelle came so close, it's as if Layla only retained because her use of her apparently "needed" knee brace.

{Michael Cole}
She would've retained either way, don't buy into Michelle's hype, I used to and honestly, I'm with Layla, she was the star all along, I don't know how I didn't see it from the beginning.

{King}
I love how you're her biggest fan when you used to act as if she was the worst thing ever.

{Michael Cole}
I don't know what you're talking about.


Layla's celebration continues as she mounts onto the second rope of the far corner closest to the announce table and holds her prize up high for the whole world to see.




While the boos may her continue her spirit is not dampened by this crowd and she still proudly shows off her title with a confident smile across her face.



{JR}
Someone needs to check on Michelle, that brace, whether medically allowed or not obviously knocked her more than a little loopy and she's still not moving all that much.

{Michael Cole}
Maybe now she'll accept that Layla is better and just move on already.

{King}
I don't think it'll be that simple, she may have been in a very emotional state after everything Layla's said and done to her recently, but something tells me this isn't the last meeting we'll see between these two.


After dismounting off the corner Layla begins a victory lap around the ring still holding her title as high as she can while the referee begins to check on the fallen challenger Michelle McCool. Layla finishes her last lap and jumps up proud of her victory here even if others question the means she stooped to in order to achieve it.




Michelle gets helped up to a seated position still holding her head, while Layla's sat down on the edge of the apron giving her title a big kiss.



She pulls away slowly before laughing, turning around looking at Michelle and mouthing "Better luck next time 'Chelle!" which is where we fade out and to a commercial break.

*Sheamus is shown on the screen the crowd begins to boo. This appears to be a pre-recorded interview. Sheamus seems pretty calm at the moment. The interviewer begins to speak as some of the crowd quiets down to listen.*

Hello Sheamus, welcome it's a pleasure please explain how do you feel about your showing with John Cena at the pay per view? Do you feel you did your best in that match?

[[Sheamus]]
How do I feel about my match with John Cena? I feel like complete and utter garbage I went there to win and what did I do I lost and I got my ass beat for about 10 minutes. When I finally gain some offense I lose it was a terrible showing. I expect more from myself and I ended up losing. I was on a roll I was suppose to be the one to win not Cena. That contendership match should have Sheamus in it not Cena. He's getting my shots that I deserve I'm an embarrassment to my country. I talk a mean game and I back up it. However, I wasn't able to back it up last night it was a pitiful showing. It's back to the drawing boards for me. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself now I don't even want the Xtreme Title but I'm in the match what kind of bull is this. I want whatever Cena is having. He doesn't deserve it the small amount of people that actually believe he does are morons because he doesn't deserve jack shit. What happened the past month does anyone remember? I remember really well I beat the leaving hell out of John Cena for the past month. He gets one win over me and that one win brings him so far up the ladder while i'm just still at the same spot I was already at. To answer your question I don't feel I did my best in that match. I felt that I left a lot of gaps open that I shouldn't of that was my worst match and that kind of showing will never be done by Sheamus ever again. It's time to go back to training everyday because I want to show that I want this. I want it more than anybody here fella it's my time not your time my time.

I see it's very good that we get to see your emotions about your feud with John Cena. To continue, Sheamus what is next for you if you don't up capturing the Xtreme Championship tonight will we see the end of you?

[[Sheamus]]
Fella is there a screw loose in your head? I swear the interviewers get stupider and stupider every single day. Let me break it down for you okay. If that Xtreme Championship match was a one on one Id clearly would be the champion. The fact that it's a triple threat makes it ten times harder but i'm still going to go out there and make the best of the situation. It's not like I'm going to throw the match it's just that the Xtreme Championship is not my priority. My priorities are secret right now I've got stuff planned hopefully I can follow through with it and reinsert my domination as a top competitor in XWL. If I don't end up winning the belt it's not going to be the end of me it's just going to show that I need to work harder to accomplish what I really want. What I really want right now is another chance or another match against John Cena. Even though I already know John Cena will never face me in a match again I just have to settle for receiving another chance. Tonight is going to be step one as I capture the Xtreme Championship then I go on to become the intercontinental champion. John Cena doesn't have it what takes to be the intercontinental champion he's going to end up choking up and losing that match. Which gives me the chance the men in the back should understand that I'm the next contender not anybody else. What I've done in the past month shows is outstanding and should be awarded.

Awarded in what kind of way? Are you expecting to be named the next contender for Christians championship or something? If this was to happen do you feel you have what it takes to defeat Christian? Is this something that worries you if you ever step into the ring with him?

[[Sheamus]]
Worries me why in the world would facing Christian worry me. I've seen the man fight he's something else. He's been able to show that he deserves that belt but he's just holding it for me. My sights are set on becoming champion here and if it's not the Xtreme Championship it's going to be the IC Championship. Getting into the ring with Christian would require me not to fight like I did against Cena but to go into the match more technical. I'm attempting to sharpen my game to allow myself guaranteed victory upon stepping into the ring. Also fella I don't expect to be named the contender for the title. I just want everybody to know what I'm aiming for I want Christian to know that a man twice his size is coming for him. People are mad that I'm relevant in XWL it took me so little time to do so. I had no worries about it what so ever I'm a praying man. I prayed to the irish god's and it played well in my favor look at me today. Over a month ago no body payed attention to me. When I call out some big names I start getting people attention. Truly fella I only call them out because I know that I can defeat them. Don't you dare mention John Cena I told you what happened I said I'd face him again. I want to face John Cena again to show that I can defeat him. However, he's to much of a candy ass to actually accept my challenge so I'm not even going to bother I have bigger fish to fry.

*Sheamus gets up looking very pissed off he begins to walk away as the interviewer is putting his stuff back together. Sheamus walks over to the interview and flips the table that he has all his stuff on. Sheamus fakes out the interview as he begins to back up. Sheamus smiles largely and begins to walk away.*

* Breakdown cuts to the backstage area were they see Santino in the background and Josh Matthews approaches him for an interview and we can see Santino playing with XWL toys*

*Josh Looks at the martial ring and sees Santino putting Triple H on Ted Diabise

Santino Marella: And the new XWL world heavyweight champion! Triple H!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Santino Marella: Triple H will not only dominate the king of the ring tournament.He will destroy Ted Diabise in a 60 minutes iron match!


Josh Matthews : That was interesting............... So..Santino how do you feel about beating JBL, the man that was XWL 15 champion just 24 hours ago?


Santino Marella: It was amazing feeling Josh, though I don't think I would have been able to do it without my hero by my side.

*Santino pulls out his cobra that resembles Triple H*


Josh Matthews : I can see that you really like Triple H..Maybe a bit too much but was it really necessary to use his entrance theme?




Santino Marella: It was necessary to use his theme. I became the game, the music was running through my soul. It give me the POWER.

*Josh looks freaked out*

Josh Matthews: People have been saying that you will be going for the Extreme championship is that true?

*Santino starts to play with his Triple H toy again and ignoring Josh*


Josh Matthews: Screw this I need to get a better job, maybe at SOOL

*Josh laughs and walks away and XWL goes to the next segment*

Sheamus vs. Sin Cara vs. Ezekiel Jackson
Big Zeke is X-Treme Champ once again but he’ll have to go through a lot to prove that he deserves to hold the belt. Can he overcome both The Celtic Warrior and The Mexican Sensation in the same match?

*Ezekiel Jackson has just retained his X-Treme Championship. Sheamus is lying in the ring he's just staring Sin Cara down. Big Zeke rolls outside the ring and lifts up his belt he taunts to the other to men that are still in the ring and begins to walk to the back. Sheamus begins to stand up using the ropes as help. Sheamus walks over to Sin Cara looking as if he's going to help him up. Sheamus puts his hand out to Sin Cara. Sin Cara grabs it allowing to help himself up. Sheamus is still holding on to it he looks right at Sin Cara and tells him "You cost me this match fella". Sheamus does his signature smile which looks very evil and pulls Sin Cara in he hits the irish curse! Sheamus grabs Cara and throws him outside the ring. Sheamus grabs a ladder and puts on the table and on the ring apron. Sheamus lifts Cara up and puts him on the apron. Sheamus stands up on the apron with Sin Cara. He begins to scream like a warrior and lifts Cara up in a powerbomb position. This doesn't look good for Sin Cara the crowd is in awe as they never even Sheamus so in raged before.*







*The medics and refs are checking on Sin Cara. Sheamus grabs a mic off the table and his shirt he puts his shirt on and begins to walk to the ring top of the stage. Sheamus is eating up all the boo's by ignoring it he doesn't care what so ever at the moment.*



[[Sheamus]]
I want everybody to stand up right now so they can get a ready look at Sin Cara. This is what happens when you mess with Sheamus. This is what happens when you in rage me. I tell you people that nobody should even bother messing with me. As you can see I follow through with what I say. I actually do what I say I'm going to do. Sin Cara was just an example of my power I'm a dominate force in XWL. I had that title that match was mine it's not even as if I messed up. Sin Cara got in my way the whole time I follow the logic of to win the title you have to beat the champ. Cara was in my way honestly Cara you should sue the match makers because without them this would have never been a triple threat and you'd probably not end up getting sent through a ladder. I'm not even mad about the losing the match. It's just the fact that I worked so ever hard and put all my effort to end up getting screwed over. This is two nights in a row that I was screwed over. Can't I ever caught a damn break!



[[Sheamus]]
The only good thing about this night is being able to injure someone. I feel this is like highlander it's very thrilling I think I'm going to continue to do it. I'm laying out the law right now. Sheamus Law is now in effect anybody that gets into the ring with me is forewarned. You see what I can to do a person just look at Sin Cara. Awh how cute they're putting him on a stretcher bye Sin Cara. Maybe I'll visit you in the hospital! I'm glad I didn't win the belt because it would make me look bad. That belt is for people lesser than me why did I ever think it was a good idea to go after such a belt. I can see the future and it's starting now I'm out of my depression I'm in such a good mood as of right now. The era of Sheamus has just begun all who do not believe will be made an example of!

*Sheamus drops the mic and begins to put on a grin. The refs and medics are moving Sin Cara to the back as he's on a stretcher. They're now passing by Sheamus who's still on the top of the stage. Sheamus pushes through the refs and medics and flips over the stretcher Sin Cara is on. Sheamus begins to laugh and beat his chest. Sheamus begins to walk to the back as XWL cuts to the next scene in the show*

Normal Match


Randy Orton vs. Davey Richards
These two men didn’t get enough votes to make it into the main event, but they’ll fight tonight to show why they should have been the ones wrestling for the World Title.


**Davey Richards music plays out through the arena and a big pop is heard when it does. A few moments pass before "The American Wolf" Davey Richards appears on top of the ramp and the pop is bigger. Davey makes his way towards the ring looking to prove why he should of been picked for the title match and hopefully to build some momentum going into next week. Davey makes it to the ring and climbs the turnbuckle and raises his arm before entering the ring. Davey removes his jacket and awaits his opponent.


Randy Orton music plays now and the fans give a good reaction for the Viper. The cheers get louder once Randy Orton appears on top of the ramp. Randy stands there for a few moments before he slowly strolls down to the ring. Randy does not take his eyes off his opponent as he walks down. Randy makes it to the ring and climbs the apron then through the ropes. He then climbs the turnbuckle and holds his arms aloft to a good reaction from the crowd. Both Davey and Orton await the ring bell to start their match.**

The bell is rung and Orton and Davey instantly lock up. Both men are pushing trying to get the upper hand Orton pushes Davey into the corner. The ref is calling for a clean break which Orton slowly lets go, as he does Orton smiles at Davey as he steps back. Davey also steps out of the corner. Orton goes for the................RKO!!!

NO!!! Davey pushes Orton away to get out of being hit with the RKO. Orton turns around and Davey kicks him in the gut and hooks the arms, Davey is looking for the........................DR Driver!!!

NO!!! Orton lifts Davey and hits a backbody drop, but as Davey goes over he keeps hold of Orton and does a sunset flip to go for the pin. The ref slides down to count

KICKOUT!!! Orton gets out and both men are now to their feet. The both start to circle the ring looking for an opening to get the advantage in this match. Orton and Davey lock up and both are pushing at one another trying to get the upper hand. Davey gets Orton in a side headlock but he manages to get to the ropes and pushes Davey off him into the ropes, Davey comes back and ducks the clotheslines from Orton, but as he rebounds off the ropes again he comes back into the arms of Orton and into a snap powerslam. Orton goes for the pin

KICKOUT!!! Davey pops a shoulder up just in time. Orton picks Davey up and is looking to keep the momentum on his side. Orton looks for a suplex but as he goes to lift Davey he is met with a knee to the head causing Orton to drop him. Orton is dazed, Davey runs at Orton and hits him with a flying forearm knocking him onto the ropes. Davey then irish whips Orton into the ropes. Orton ducks the roundhouse kick and then rebounds off the ropes and towards Davey. Orton hits.......NO, Davey lifts him up and hits....... THE ALARM CLOCK KICK!!!! Orton falls through the ropes and down hard to the outside. Orton gets back to his feet with a little help from the barricade. Davey spots Orton and runs at the ropes and........

DIVES OVER THE ROPES ONTO TO ORTON!!!!!!OMG,OMG!!

Davey hits Orton and the force takes them both over the barricade into the crowd. The crowd pop at high risk dive from Davey and the "holy shit" chants start. The ref is unsure what to do as he can't see any of them. The ref then starts the count.

Orton and Davey are up in the crowd, both get over the barricade but both are hurt. Davey and Orton crawl to the ring apron.

Davey and Orton are now by the apron they are about to roll in when out of nowhere........

RKO!!!!!!! Orton hits Davey with the RKO!!!!!Orton goes to roll in......

But its too late the match finishes with a double countout. Orton looks pissed off and so do the fans that this match ended like this. Orton starts to argue with the ref but stops and leaves the ring. Davey is just about getting to his feet as Orton approaches him. Both men are face to face outside like some is going to go down. Orton gives Davey a sadistic smile then walks past him. Davey lets him walk past and up the ramp. Davey then turns t o watch Orton backward walk up the ramp as he fade to commercials.

Divas Match


Raquel Diaz vs. ?????
Two relatively new faces battle to see who can make the bigger impact at the other’s expense. Who is this mystery diva? What is her name? Will she be able to defeat the daughter of the great Eddie Guerrero in her debut tonight?

A back and forth match between Raquel Diaz and the "Anti-Diva", Raquel Diaz seems to be gaining control untill...Suddenly the lights go out and the audience begin as to buzz as they collectively being to wonder what the meaning of all of this is. They’re not familiar with the mystery wrestler or her gimmick, only her reason for being here. Is this sudden darkness part of her game? A part of who she is? They’re guess is as good as anyone else’s and the only thing they can do now is wait for things to play put. Suddenly there’s a scream and rings out in the dark. The hell is going on? A loud thud of a body hitting the mat follows the scream and people are really on edge now and they’d give anything for the lights to come back on and a few seconds later the do and the sacrifices of a few good men who sold their souls so the rest could see the light again have not gone in vain. But the scene before the people is grim: The mystery wrestler is on the ground with her face covered in some type of green liquid that’s also splattered over the canvas like some type of crude art piece. The Ref and Raquel Diaz give each other puzzling and slightly accusing glances because there was no one else in the ring but them, but who would want to take out the mystery wrestler after just her first match and in such a disturbing manner? The people look on confused still unsure and still processing what just happened, and medical officials race down to the ring to tend to the mystery wrestler with her sight being their number one concern. The camera pans out giving us an aerial view of the scene before the screen fades to black and Night of Champions heads to a needed commercial break. Hopefully someone gets that ring cleaned.

Cody Rhodes vs. Ted DiBiase
Rhodes gets voted the opportunity he’s been asking for and in the biggest match of his career it’s time to see if he can back up everything he’s been saying over the weeks. Ted DiBiase's theme blasts throughout the arena as the fans all jump to their feet cheering as loud as they possibly can.

I can't believe it! This young man just will not quit, two successful defenses in the span of 24 hours, our World Heavyweight Champion has proved once again he is deserving of that title.

{Michael Cole}
Okay so he may be a somewhat good World Champion, but that doesn't mean he's still not a joke. If this man wants to be taken seriously he needs to drop the goofy shtick and focus on presenting himself as a champion.

Ted's shown lying on the mat against the ropes with his arm up in the air and an excited look on his face as he realizes he's just retained his title again.

But what's wrong with him being a little out there, Cole? It makes him different, it makes him unique, and the fans love it.

{Michael Cole}
Maybe so but if he's going to represent this company he needs show he's more than just a comedy act.

He's made it up to his feet and he's holding onto the ropes, the last two matches he's had has clearly taken a toll on him but hearing the fans cheering him on gives an increased satisfaction.



The referee pats him on the back then grabs his arm raising it high in victory to another loud respond from the fans in the arena.

Michael McGillicutty, and now Cody Rhodes have failed take that title away from this spirited young champion, so we have to ask ourselves, who will be next to step up?

{Michael Cole}
I think it's obvious after last night and earlier tonight, Edge has set his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship, and I don't think he'll rest until he gets his shot.

{King}
But is he really above a number one contenders match? That's how Ted earned his shot, why should he be any different?

{Michael Cole}
Because other than Ted's miracle of a win Edge has yet to lose to anybody in the last several months.

{JR}
Fair point, Cole.

The referee has long since exited the ring to retrieve Ted's world title, he slides back in and hands Ted his title and he just looks down at it proud that he's still able to hold it in his hands after everything he's been through lately.



After staring at it for a few seconds, he runs straight for the corner post mounting up onto it and holding his title high for his Posse to see. He shouts out "World Heavyweight Champion!!!" as he points to it causing the fans' cheers to get even louder for a moment.



{King}
I don't really know who might be next to step up to the plate, but I do know that whoever it is Ted will be ready, he's got two successful defenses in a row, and just like our United States, Intercontinental, X-treme, 15, and Divas Champions earlier in the night he's survived Night of Champions and lives another day as the World Heavyweight Champion.

{Michael Cole}
I'm actually amazed that every champion tonight retained tonight, I don't know about you guys but I expected at least one new champion.

{JR}
That just goes to show you how impressive the group of champions we have at the moment really are.


As the smile on his face shows no signs of going away anytime soon he continues to show his title to world while proudly standing on the ropes.



He finally dismounts off the corner and backs away slowly before raising his title up again to another tremendous reaction.



*Cameras fade back to Cody Rhodes as Ted DiBiase continues his celebration as he has just defended his World Championship for the second time in 24 hours. Cody lays on the mat still a bit shocked his lost to Ted DiBiase after the win seemed to be in his grasp but he couldn't grab it. Cody puts his hands on his face, looking to hide his face from the people in attendance but he soon removes them. Cody begins to turn onto his side as Ted continues his celebration on the turnbuckles.*



*Cody continues to roll onto his stomach and forces himself up onto his knees. He takes a lot out into the crowd as the commentators begin to speak.*

What a tough loss for Cody here tonight, came so close but couldn't get the job done.

{Michael Cole}
Cody did come close, give him one more shot and I'm sure he could get the job done and become the XWL World Heavyweight Champion.

{JR}
You could be right Cole, but for now, Ted DiBiase proved once again why he is the World Heavyweight Champion by beating Cody here tonight not to long after that grueling Hell In A Cell Match.

*Ted is just exiting the ring now as Cody has got to his feet. The fans continue to cheer Ted as he backs his way up the ramp, looking on at Cody who seems to have a bit of anger growing inside of him. Cody begins to shout towards Ted as he leans against the ropes, pointing up the ropes towards Ted. Ted doesn't seem to be effected much as he looks back at Cody, a bit e!xhausted from the match he just had.*



*The fans cheers seems to die down a bit and change to boos as cameras focus back into the ring and standing in the corner, setting up for his signature Spear, is "The Rated R Superstar" Edge. Cody doesn't seem to notice him but Ted does as Edge begs Cody to turn around.*

King, it's Edge! What is he doing out here?!

{King}
Well from the looks of things, it looks like he wants to spear Cody into the next century. Why Spear Cody though?

{Michael Cole}
Edge is looking to send some kind of message obviously. But he looks to be sending it through Cody Rhodes I'm guessing.

{King}
Looks to be that way, Cole.

*Cody notices Ted looking to the side of Cody and his facial expression changes drastically. Cody begins to turn around and as he does, Edge begins to charge at Cody and by the time Cody realizes whats happening its too late. Spear! Edge knocks Cody down to the mat with a devastating spear. The fans erupt in a mixture of cheers and boos because their hate for Cody is equal to the hate of Edge. Edge looks over at Ted as Cody rolls out of the ring.*



*Ted takes a glance down at his World Heavyweight Championship as he continues to make his way up the ramp, looking to be a bit worried because of this new Edge that has returned to XWL.*



*Ted looks back up as He and Edge continue to lock eyes with Ted making is way up to the top of the ramp. Ted stops at the top of the ramp, almost on the stage, as cameras begin to zoom in onto his face. At first, Ted still has the worried look on his face but it soon changes to his signature cheesy smile as he holds up his World Heavyweight Champion and with that, the screen fades to back. Signaling the end of the show.*
