*The pyro blasts off after a great X-Treme X-Mas event and we are greeted by Jim Ross, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Michael Cole.*



Jim Ross: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to 2012 and the New Years Special of Breakdown! Last night we saw the crowning of a new World Heavyweight Champion.

The King: I still can't believe it, JR! Wade Barrett, debuted just under a year ago, and he's had arguably one of the most impressive debut years ever!

Michael Cole: That he has, he's beaten anyone and everyone that crosses him, and judging by last night's performance, this man is going to be a threat for a very long time.

Jim Ross: You're not kidding, he not only successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship last night, he went on to win one of the most dangerous matches, a TLC match, for the World Heavyweight Championship later that night! And that's not all either! Batista, a man that was taken out by Christian a few months back, made his return to the biggest reaction of the night...Cashed in his money in the bank briefcase....And Wade Barrett somehow, by the skin of his teeth still walked out World Heavyweight Champion! This is no ordinary man we're talking about, Wade Barrett's risen up and I'm not sure if anyone can knock him down!

Michael Cole: Think about it, JR. He competed in not one, not two, but three title matches! And he won them all! We're in a new year here in XWL, and I think we're also in a brand new era too...The era of Barrett, can anyone stop this dominant young man?!


The King: And speaking of our new World Heavyweight Champion, boy have we got a huge night for all of you! Our main event will be a Team Breakdown vs. Team Redemption elimination tag match!

Jim Ross: Bah gawd you're right, King! It will be our team, Team Breakdown, consisting of the new World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, and The Rock, going up against Team Redemption! Consisting of Justin Gabriel, Ted DiBiase, and of course, John Cena!

Michael Cole: Maybe if Wade Barrett takes out Ted DiBiase first, I'll root for Team Redemption one hundred percent! Show you guys up on your own show!

The King: You know what, Cole? I think we should talk about X-Treme X-Mas. When Mr. Anderson beat Awesome Truth in a virtual handicap match, or maybe when Ted DiBiase beat McGillicutty?

Michael Cole: Or how about when The Miz! beat The Undertaker?

Jim Ross: Or how about we get back to the broadcast?

The King: Like our number one contenders matches tonight?

Jim Ross: Exactly, King.

The King: As you all know our Divas Champion, Kaitlyn. Successfully fought off the odds of a fatal four way match, and retained her Divas Championship last night at X-treme X-mas. So tonight as put together by Vickie Guerrero and Cody Rhodes, we will see the three divas that came up short in that match collide tonight in a triple threat match!

Michael Cole: The #1 contendership is on the line, and for one lucky diva they will get a one on one opportunity with our champion at Over The Limit.

Jim Ross: And as we noted earlier Wade Barrett retained his Intercontinental Championship last night, so tonight we're looking to crown a new challenger for him.

The King: Christian managed to defeat Randy Orton after an impressive counter during their Steel Cage match, so tonight if he hopes to continue his petition for an Intercontinental Championship match. He will have to defeat an equally as impressive superstar as of late, Dolph Ziggler.

Michael Cole: Only one man will meet Barrett in a one on one match for the Intercontinental Championship, and you know both would love the opportunity to not only walk out Intercontinental Champion, but with a victory over the World Heavyweight Champion.

The King: But before either can worry about that potential huge match on their horizon, one of them has to walk out with a victory here tonight.

Jim Ross: Now folks, we already know tonight will be huge, it's got an impressive lineup of exciting matches...But there's also an important piece of business that will be held sometime tonight. As you already know, tonight the board of directors have sent someone over here to choose the new Breakdown GM; Cody Rhodes, or Mick Foley.

Michael Cole: The future of Breakdown is at risk here tonight. I just hope they don't mess up and pick Mick Foley!

The King: I hope they pick Mick Foley. He already owns the company, so why not just let him run this show? He's done a great job the past three years, and he hasn't put people in handicap matches for no reason!

Michael Cole: Mick can't make any reasonable decisions! Not only is his giant ego preventing that, but Mick has too much on his plate to watch over Breakdown! He needs someone smart, like "Dashing" Cody Rhodes to do it.

[???]
Excuse me. Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please?

Michael Cole: Hey JR! You know him!

Jim Ross: Zip it, Cole.


[John Laurinitis]
I am the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, Mr. John Laurinitis. Now, as some of you may now, I am here to decide who will be the running Breakdown General Manager. Let me introduce you to the first candidate, one of the fastest rising stars in XWL, and the leader of The Resistance, "Dashing" Cody Rhodes!



*The crowd boos as the theme song of "Dashing" Cody Rhodes hits over the PA system. Cody comes out to the stage in a rather nice suit.*



*Cody even goes as far to shake Mr. John Laurinitis's hand before walking down the ramp. The crowd continues to boo as Cody Rhodes take a microphone and jumps into the ring.*


[Cody Rhodes]
I would personally like to thank John Laurinitis for that wonderful introduction. I'd also like to thank you for the mic time before you made your decision. I will also refrain from marking personal remarks to Mick Foley here tonight, as I am a presentable general manager. I'd just like to say, the numbers don't lie. The ratings, the money, the ticket sales, the pay per view buy rates. They've been up this month. And I mean, look at what I've been able to put together. Last night I made a Fatal Four Way Tables Ladder and Chairs match for the World Heavyweight Championship! I've given you all classic bouts like CM Punk versus Wade Barrett, and Randy Orton versus Christian. Not to mention, I've started to give people chances. I gave Alberto Del Rio a chance to right the wrongs and finally beat Eddie Guerrero in the ring. Then, of course, I gave Dolph Ziggler the chance to prove himself a title contender. Now, because of me, Dolph Ziggler is main eventing! A gave someone with such great talent a chance, because that's how I run the show.


[Cody Rhodes]
I'm also open to all new ideas. I never shut my door. My door is always open. Anyone can come in anytime. I don't care if you're Randy Orton, CM Punk, The Rock, Edge, or John Cena. Speaking of Edge, good try last night, but just like Mick Foley and all the others.... you learned the hard way. I'm getting off topic. Now, also, I personally arranged the six man tag with Vickie Guerrero for tonight. Just a little glimpse of what is in store for Breakdown in the coming months. And even though I am a wrestler, I will not get physical with my superstars. Of course, wrestling is my passion. So although I would love to still compete in this ring, I want to save Breakdown first. Once I restore Breakdown, and I have it under control, I will step into the ring again. Of course, I will not let go of this duty, Mr. John Laurinitis. I will not just throw such an honor away like.....



*The crowd pops loudly as Mick Foley makes his way out. He shrugs at John before walking down the ramp. He gives out high fives before taking a microphone and jumping in the ring. Cody rolls his eyes as Mick raises his fist in the air and walks around the ring. Eventually he stops and he begins to speak.*


[Mick Foley]
Now, sorry for having no suit. I just don't give a crap. I don't need a suit or a handshake to impress you, Johnny Ace. You know, I don't feel like blabbing for five minutes about everything I've done. I've run this company from day one, Cody. You haven't even been here since day one. You know, it's kind of funny. I remember when I signed you to a contract some three years ago. I was excited to sign such a great young talent on my show. You seemed like a great guy, Cody. Hell, you shook my hand with a smile. Now, here we are three years later. You've gone crazy. You're insane. You've become power hungry. You're trying to over throw me, for what? Because I didn't give you a shot at the Intercontinental Championship? Let me tell you something, Cody. It was YOUR fault. Wade Barrett had a rematch clause he invoked at Supremacy, so I couldn't give you a title shot. You would have been in the chamber match, but you left. You left the company and you started to assault my superstars.


[Mick Foley]
I'll be honest, Cody. I rehired you even though you lost to John Cena at the Monster Bash. It was because at some point down the line, I thought you could change back. I thought at one point you would shake my hand with a smile again. I guess that's out the window. I guess that's all out the window. Cody, it seems like the only way I could fix you is the beat the insanity out of you. I know I'm one to talk about being insane, but you were a god damn mask over your face to make sure you don't get hurt..... in a wrestling company? Cody, you claim to be this fearless leader. You claim to be the fearless leader of the Resistance! You claim to be the fearless leader of Breakdown. Yet, you can't even face your own problems. Me, Cody, I face my own problems. You know that from personal experience. That is what a real leader is. A real leader faces their problem with a straight face and a brave heart.


[Cody Rhodes]
While that is all great, Mick. I have an actual back up for this. You see, unlike yourself, people like me! That's why I have someone here to vouch for me. Ladies and gentlemen, your next Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler!



*Dolph's theme song hits and immediately he shoves his way through the curtains and walks out onto the stage. From there he casually walks down the ramp and into the ring.*



*Ziggler grabs a microphone from the announcer and walks towards Cody, shaking his hand before starting to speak.*



[Dolph Ziggler]
Ladies and Gentlemen, yes I know. You're graced with my presence once again, you're welcome. Standing before you once again is your next Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler. Now I know I know, I've accomplished so much in my career over such a short amount of time, I've become what can only be described a megastar.. because that's just how I roll. I don't wanna sound like a broken record, but seriously! Look at me! I don't even need to describe how good I am, you're looking at me. You can see it! Not all of us can walk around looking like we've spent the last couple of years sleeping in a bin since our career went down the toilet, not looking at anybody in particular, Mick. Hashtag, HEEL. Nah, it takes time and effort to become this good, not that you'd know that. But atleast you're in the ring with me right now Mick, clearly one of the highlights of your so called "career."



[Dolph Ziggler]
Now I know you all want to hear about me, but that's not why I came down here right now. You see I told Cody I'd come down to this ring, and speak on behalf of the people in the locker room with a BRAIN. Come on dude, You've gotta be braindead if you can't see that this man next to me runs things well around here. I guess you took a few too many weapon shots to the head Mick.. but it's alright.. I'd be taking that many too, if it was the only reason my career was still going. I've talked about the unfairness of this company, the money hungry senseless asses that run it, but through all of this.. only one man has been fair to me. Only one man didn't lie, he let the world know that he knew about my talent, and he gave me the opportunity that I deserved. Cody Rhodes is what I meant when I said that things would change around here, Cody took charge, and Cody made things better.



[Dolph Ziggler]
Now it's no secret that I don't exactly like many people around here. It's not unknown that I don't show much respect. But if there is one man in this company that I respect, it's this man, Cody Rhodes. You know.. I just, I just don't get it Mick. For what reason should Cody not be in charge? You can run your mouth all you want but as far as I can see it, you're just jealous. It's this generation, the generation of myself and Cody, that runs things now. It's not about the old guys anymore, It's about the young, smart, talented men that have been pushed aside for too long. I say that I decided not to be pushed around anymore, that I shoved through everybody else and changed my attitude so that I could rise to the top and get what I deserve. Cody here has done the exact same thing. So Cody, I'm with you on this one.

*Dolph throws his microphone back over to the announce table and turns back to face Cody rhodes. He gives him a subtle nod before sliding out of the ring and walking up the ramp. As he approaches John Laurinitis at the stage, he stops and grabs his mic.*

[Dolph Ziggler]
If you know what's good for you Johnny, Mr Rhodes down there will be General Manager by the end of the night.

*Ziggler shoves the microphone back into the chest of Laurinitis and casually walks back through the curtain into the backstage area.*


[Cody Rhodes]
You heard it from the man himself, Johnny! Now, Mick, back to you. Where is your vote, huh? Oh, I know, He must be running a little late. Come on out here, you!

*The crowd boos as no theme plays. Cody smiles and laughs as Mick looks rather furious. Rhodes begins to speak again.*

[Cody Rhodes]
That's what I though. You see, Mick? Nobody wants you. Nobody likes you. Yet, everybody loves me-



*The crowd goes insane as the theme song of John Cena hits! Cody's in absolute shock in the ring as Cena makes his way out to the stage, smiling at Johnny and giving him a salute.*



*Cena doesn’t do his usual run to the ring but instead walks down and goes up the steel steps walking over towards Mick Foley as he is handed a mic before beginning to speak *



John Cena
Now don’t mind my little interruption but Cody did I just hear you correctly and say that nobody likes Mick and that everyone loves you? If I remember back to the Monster Bash and correct me if I’m wrong here, myself, Mick and a few other superstars threw your ass out of the building when I got you fired. So don’t think that this company is all about you. Now Cody in the time me and you have moved on you’ve done quite well for yourself I’m not going to lie, you went from crying outside of the arena to beating a hardcore legend and becoming general manager, hell you even started your own group to reign terror down on Breakdown The fearless Resistance but how well has any of this worked out for you Cody? You have a guy with two much grease in his hair who thinks if he uses the word hashtags in his sentence people will love him cheering you on but who else is with you? Wheres Chris Hero, Tyson Kidd, Layla, and even Brian Kendrick?


John Cena
Cody if they all were loyal and your followers or whatever you wanted to call them wouldn’t they be out here and not some suck up looking for 5 minutes off fame to get a intercontinental title shot he’ll never win. Now let me get back to the main question should Mick Foley be general manager or should Cody Rhodes stay the general manager. Now I’m not going to be bias about this and I’m going to look at both peoples point of view. Now let’s look at Cody Rhodes, the man obviously has a serious problem with the way he looks that he has to go so far as to wear a protective mask. And well he isn’t very good in the ring and believe me, I know from experience. Now Cody I know you have come far but as far as I or anyone know you are just the INTERIM general manager. Now if we move on over to Mick, the man is clearly a hardcore legend, an icon, not scared of any man and well he can take one hell of a beating and still come back for more. The crowd love him and he is the true general manager of Breakdown. Now I don’t know if I need to make it any more clearer who is the rightful general manager but as I always like to do is I like to involve the entire XWL universe, now what I want you all to do, don’t worry its very easy and I want everyone to join in, chant the name of who you think should be the general manager.

After a few seconds a solid loud “Foley” chant can be heard throughout the arena.



John Cena
I rest my case. John, Johnny whatever these people know and I know who should be the right general manager. Cody is a superstar and should stick to his job of being a wrestler. What has he done exactly that has benefitted this company? He lowered TV ratings for this show to an all time low as we know it when he gave Tyson Kidd a man who quite frankly has less charisma than my dog after a trip to the vets, an intercontinental title shot! Now I could rant on and on but tonight even though I’m on breakdown territory well I’m a redemption man at heart and tonight I am going to be fighting for team redemption in the hope we get a win so I have to go to the back and train with ted and Justin.

*Cena walks out of the ring and up the ramp. He stands next to John and raises the mic one last time.*

John Cena
One last thing before I do go Johnny, you’re a smart man, you know how to make some great business decisions so before I go I think I speak for everyone here tonight when I say Mick Foley should be the GM.

*Cena hands over the mic to John Laurinitis and raises his arms for the CeNation taunt and once again salutes to the entire crowd before walking through the curtain backstage.*


[Cody Rhodes]
Really? A Redemption superstar? A bias Redemption superstar? Johnny, you can't really be considering this!


[Mick Foley]
Cody, I'll give you credit for getting someone not in the Resistance, but the man that you just tried to hand an Intercontinental title? Let me tell you.....

[John Laurinitis]
Hey! I have had enough of this! Both of you stop right now, I have made my decision, which the board has told me to do in case of a situation like this.....



*Cody stares up at a the ramp with Mick Foley, awaiting John's decision.*

[John Laurinitis]
In my personal opinion, both of you have valid arguments. Cody, you're right about Mick. He might have too much on his plate and that doesn't allow him to make the right choices. Yet, on the other hand, Mick has been running this show for the past three years. So, instead of me deciding, I am going to do something innovative. That is just the type of guy I am. Like I said, I won't decided. You, Cody Rhodes, and you, Mick Foley, will decide. Now, for any of you confused, let me explain. For the next three months leading up to Final Stand IV, Mick Foley and Cody Rhodes will be put on trial. They will be the Co-General Managers of Breakdown. By Final Stand, the board will evaluate the jobs you two have done and pick the official Breakdown General Manager. Oh, and Cody, as your contract states, you WILL need to compete in that ring whenever you are booked on a card. Good luck gentlemen, may the best man win.

*The crowd pops at the announcement, but neither man seems pleased. Soon, things get heated and they go head to head. They start to talk trashing, prompting Cody to slap Mick in the face! The crowd boos, but Mick takes no problem in punching Cody right in the jaw! Rhodes falls down and Mick starts throwing hay makers, but Cody soon rolls over and starts to hit shots of his own. With the mask to protect, Rhodes takes control of the fight and soon gets up to stomp on Foley. The crowd chants "Foley" to rile Mick, but Cody continues the assault. Eventually, Rhodes goes to the outside and makes his way over the the announcers. He pushes Justin Roberts away from his chair and takes it. He then slides back in the ring and pounds it against the mat, waiting for Foley to get up. Suddenly, Edge is seen walking out from the back pointing his finger at Cody! The crowd pops, but suddenly... Edge is knocked out from behind! Cody laughs, and suddenly a familiar man stands over Edge's lifeless body......*



*.....and it's Chris Hero! The crowd boos as the returning Resistance members runs into the ring to help Cody with the assault. Yet, when Rhodes goes to smack the downed Foley with the chair, Hero yanks it out of his hands! The crowd pops and Rhodes is in absolute shock. Hero points his finger at Cody, who pleads with him not do it. The crowd starts a "Hero!" chant, but suddenly, Hero looks down and smashes it into Mick's back himself! Cody laughs to himself as Chris says he has a "better idea" as he jumps out of the ring. He grabs yet another chair, and he throws it to Rhodes! Cody slips one of the chairs under Mick's head, obviously setting up for the con-chair-to!*

Jim Ross: Don't do this Cody! For god sake's don't do this!

*Before Rhodes can strike, Hero tells him to wait a moment before going outside. He picks up Edge and throws him back into the ring. Edge basically crawls around inside, but only until Chris Hero comes in and locks in the Rivera Cloverleaf! The crowd jeers The Resistance as they are making Edge watch the destruction of Mick Foley!*

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Oh come on, this isn't right! They are forcing Edge to watch this?

*Cody stares at Edge, who's yelling in pain, and says "Happy New Year!" with a twisted smirk before hitting the con-chair-to on Mick! The crowd is booing insanely as blood is dripping down Foley's face. Hero lets go of the hold and leaves Edge out on the mat while staff and referees coming rushing out to get Cody and Hero out of the ring. EMTs bring out a stretcher for Mick Foley, who isn't moving in the slightest bit. Hero and Rhodes stop on the ramp before looking back at the carnage, smirking. Breakdown fades out to a commercial break.*

6 Man Elimination Tag-Team Match



Justin Gabriel & Ted DiBiase & John Cena Vs Wade Barrett & Dolph Ziggler & The Rock

So looking forward to this match tbh, should be awesome.

Dat fucking HEEL Team, Breakdown has got dis.

[Hero]: Here we are, 2012, the year of the supposed end of the World and what better way to kick off this year than with the return of "That Young Knockout Kid" Chris Hero? The Saviour of XWL has returned, because I know you are all in desperate need of a Hero. A Hero who is willing to stand up for what is right and finally put an end to the tyrannous reign of the menace that is known by Mick Foley. Just like in the modern World, there are people who are victims of injustice. People who are sent to war ravaged Countries and are expeted to "Fight the good fight", by their "Heroic leaders".



[Hero]: That is the exact mindset people have within this company. Mick Foley believes himself to be the Heroic Leader that the people need and they follow him blindly, not realising they are simply cannon fodder for his sick plans. He will force people who are faithful to him into brutal matches to gain money and he doesn't even care if said people become hurt because of his plans. I was a victim to the very same injustice, when I was put on the shelf by you Edge. Nobody cared, I know people don't like me for my attitude or my opinions but I am one of the most technically gifted athletes on the planet today and not a single person cared...



[Hero]: instead, people would rather preoccupy themselves with thinking The Resistance is dead, that the flame burned out as quickly as it began. To all of those people, I have a nice dose of reality for you. The Resistance can never and will never die. Providing there are people out there who are willing to fight, then The Resistance shall live on in one way or another and I proved that here tonight. Despite losing Tyson Kidd, despite losing Brian Kendrick, we were still able to kill the reamining brain cells inside Mick Foley's head and remove whatever chance he had of putting up a fight.



[Hero]: Now we're left with one, the very man who put me on the shelf for so many months. The very man who follows Mick Foley around like a poor little puppy, the very man I intend to have my revenge upon and not only injure, but remove from this industry indefinitly. Edge, your first mistake was aligning yourself with the fiend that is Mick Foley. But your second and biggest mistake, was pissing off Chris Hero. If you thought I was a threat before hand, you have no idea what I have in store for you. But don't you worry your little head, it's not going to happen yet. This is a slow burn, I'm going to make you regret every little decision you have made. And then when the time is right... I'm going put an end to you, once and for all.



[Hero]: You see I have a lot to catch up on, thanks to you The Resistance is a little behind schedule. But have no fear, because tonight we have finally gotten back on track, we're finally on the road we need to be on to clense this company of all the evil that pumps through it's veins. No matter how long we have to fight, no matter how long we have to continue this little song and dance, in the end The Resistance will always prevail. Why you ask? Because Chris Hero is back and better than ever. There is something that everybody has seemed to forget when it comes to Chris Hero and that is no matter the challenge, no matter the obstacle, Kings ALWAYS Reign Supreme...



[Hero]: Bang bang....

*As the camera switches over from the Chris Hero segment, a live shot of the arena is shown focusing on the titantron*



*As the first gong hits blasts through the PA system the crowd stand on their feet for the arrival of The Undertaker*

Jim Ross: Well we all know what this sound means, get ready because here come's The Undertaker.

Michael Cole: The man who single handily lost to The Miz at X-Treme X-Mas, the Deadman, after the beating he took last night, I wouldn't be surprised if he traded his bike for a wheelchair!

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Oh just stop it, Cole, everyone knows Miz the can credit his running buddy R-Truth with a huge assist in his victory.

*As the voiceover of The Undertaker says "Deadman walking" and Limp Bizkit's Rollin' begins blasting through the arena, The Deadman walks out onto the stage as the jam packed crowd cheer him on*



Jim Ross: Well you can be sure The Undertaker will be in one foul mood tonight.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: I don't think I've ever saw The Deadman in a good mood, and tonight will be no different.

*Undertaker not wasting anytime, he makes a beeline for the ring, as the camera zooms into the chain in his right hand*

*As 'Taker reaches ringside he looks up to the ring, then instead of turning left for the ring steps he turns to the right and begins to circle the ring*



Michael Cole: I'd be glad to, somebody has to let that guy know just how ridiculous he's being, he got beat fair and square, he need's to get over it!

Jim Ross: I can't believe you're really saying this, Cole. Do you actually think anybody wouldn't be annoyed after being screwed out of a win the way he was at X-Treme X-Mas.

Michael Cole: Just look at that thug walking around the ring, as if he owns it or something!

*As 'Taker completes a full circle around the ring, he walks up the ring steps, and enters the ring through the middle and top rope before walking over to the camera side of the ring and raising his arms for the camera, then does the same for the other three sides*



Jerry "The King" Lawler: Just calm down, Cole, do you want him to hear you or something? Do you actually think Undertaker wouldn't have a problem coming out here and showing you just how much of a thug he really is?

*As Undertaker is handed a microphone, he walks to the center of the ring as his theme fades out and he raises the microphone up to his mouth*



The Undertaker: Now it seems to me after X-treme X-Mas ended, a whole lot of people didn't get the message, I'll be damned if some Wanna-be Hollywood Pre-Madonna The Miz and his Psychopath buddy in a bullet proof vest and air sprayed jeans think they've got the Deadman dead and buried. Well boys it appears to me while you've run back home to Redemption that Deadman Inc. is still open for business.

*As Undertaker lowers his microphone he turns around and begins to pace back and forth, then lifts his microphone back up to his mouth*

The Undertaker: I've heard all the talk ever since I stepped into the building tonight. Awesome Truth just put down the big dog in his own yard. Awesome Truth made the American Bad Ass famous. Awesome Truth made the Deadman rest in piece.

*As the camera gets ahead of The Undertaker, he stares into the lens with a piercing stare, then turns around still pacing back and forth*



The Undertaker: Well looky here boys, I'm still standing. And it's time to set the record straight. I'm not out here to bitch and moan about what happened, that's not my style. But what I am concerned about is delivering a message, a message for the whole lockeroom to hear. Because you see this ring I'm standing in. This is STILL my yard, and I am STILL the big dog who runs this yard, and when you mess with the Big Dog you get bit.

*As Undertaker lowers his microphone he turns his head to look at the chain in his hand, then raises it for the cameras, then raises his microphone back up to his mouth*

The Undertaker: Now you see this chain right here? You see that dried blood?

*Undertaker lowers the chain, as he continues to talk*



The Undertaker: That's my blood. Now at X-treme X-Mas this chain made me bleed. Now I ain't asking for no sympathy card, I ain't asking for no apology. No, what this right here, is nothing but a reminder. A reminder of just how sick and twisted I used to be. When a man stepped into the ring with The Undertaker, he wasn't expecting to be leaving it under his own power. Broken bones and broken bodies laid in my wake and there wasn't a damn thing anybody could do about. I believe they called it Two Decades of Destruction.

*As Undertaker takes a brief pause and crowd cheer for his two decades*



The Undertaker: And the way I see it, since for some reason before the start of the show, I got drafted to Breakdown. And even though there's two General Managers, they seem to have their hands full, but that doesn't matter, because when I'm standing in this ring, I'm calling the shots. And I say those two decades, they aren't coming to an end anytime soon. I say why don't we go a head and see whether or not two becomes three. I've faced them all and I've beat them all, and that's all there is too it.



The Undertaker: Sure I've had my set backs, who hasn't? I've been set on fire...

I've been Buried Alive...

I've been betrayed by my own father. And then I returned the favour...

I've been left for dead in a burning wreckage of a car, twice. And you think I'm going to let a little beat down stop me, then you've got another thing coming. So while Miz and Truth can count their blessings that the Deadman isn't on their show anymore, every superstar in the Breakdown lockeroom can listen up. See I'm not in the business to make friends, this ain't a popularity contest. I'm in the business of kicking ass and taking names, and there's a whole lot of names out back who's ass I haven't kicked yet. And if any, and I mean any of them try to make it personal. I'll make them wish the next time they step into the ring will be the last time, and that is a promise.



The Undertaker: And boys, just so you know who you've got walking through your hallways, let me just remind you, exactly what I've done in those twenty years of destruction. I've taken man after man, strapped them to a cross and beat them into a bloody mess. I've been known to set my opponents on fire, and watch them burn. I've buried them alive, in a casket or six feet under. And unlike me, they don't come back, and if they did, they came back a shell of the man they used to be. I was known to throw men off that stage after the match had already ended for my own amusement. I broke Vince McMahon's leg just because I could and I didn't feel a damn thing.

*The crowd cheer again, as The Deadman continues to pace back and forth, then he adjusts his baseball cap*



The Undertaker: So before anyone decides to take offence to the Deadman kicking your ass, let me give you a little reminder of who you're messing with, I invented the Hell in a Cell match, and I believe they nicknamed it the Devil's playground, well I guess that make's me the Devil, and I'm one Devil you don't want to mess with. And just like when you go toe to toe with the Devil, you better pray to the Lord if you want any chance of coming out unscaved.

*Undertaker then stops pacing back and forth, as he leans on the ring ropes staring up the entrance way*



The Undertaker: Now it's no secret, I'm not like the other guys in the back, I'm not like Edge, I'm not like Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes or Kurt Angle. And I'm sure as hell not like The Rock. I'm not the poster child, never have been and never will be, I'm the guy the comes to this ring week in and week out looking for a fight. But you see I don't have a fight tonight, I don't even have a damn match. But next week the pain and suffering will begin. Nobody will be safe, whether you're the top dog or just the bottom bitch it doesn't matter to me. What you need to know is there's a new dog in town and that's The Undertaker.

*As Undertaker pauses once more, the crowd cheer him again as he continues to stare up the ramp*

The Undertaker: And let me remind you, if someone isn't hand delivered to me next week, I'm going out back and taking one for myself, dragging their sorry ass to this ring and today what I do best, and MAKE THEM FAMOUS!

*As The Undertaker finishes speaking, he throws his microphone down to the mat, as his theme begins to blast through the arena again*



*As the Undertaker's theme plays, he stands in the middle of the ring as he looks around the arena*



Jim Ross: Well what's good news for the Breakdown brand might not be such good news for the Breakdown superstars, The Undertaker is in one foul mood, and I would not want to be the first guy to cross his path.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Well if they're lucky, he'll hear Cole running his mouth again and beat him all the way back to Breakdown.

*As Undertaker exits the ring, he begins to walk back up the ramp*

Michael Cole: Why don't you just shut up Lawler! You just wish your precious GM's brought The Miz over to Breakdown instead!

Jim Ross: I'm more then happy with having the Deadman on Breakdown, Cole. And so are the fans, it's been one heck of a start to the new year's edition of Breakdown so far, and I'm sure it will only get better!

*As JR finishes talking, Breakdown fades out to commercial break*

*The camera fades backstage showing Josh Matthews with a microphone in his hand.*

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Chris Jericho!

*The audience in the arena cheers loudly as Chris Jericho appears in the camera view.*



*A few moments later Josh begins to ask his first question.*

Chris Jericho, tonight, for the first time in years you will step into this ring being a part of the US division. Tonight, you're opponent will be non other than Booker T. Do you have any thoughts to share?



{Chris Jericho}
Tonight, I will indeed face one of the most forgotten Superstars in this industry, but Booker T is just one of the many Superstars out there who no one knows or remembers. The management has done the biggest mistake of their lives by throwing me into a division filled with Superstars who have no future at all, but on the other hand I can understand them. They needed someone to save this division from the downfall and it seems like they saw and found the savior here in me. Booker T had his glory days ten years ago. Look at him now, he's just a shadow of his former self. He's begging and pleasing to get the attention of these people, but I don't need that and that's exactly why I'm standing here, right now, as the greatest Superstar of this company. It's because I am not addicted to the cheers of those hypocrites all around the world. I don't need any of these people to support me. My biggest supporter is my very own self and as you can see it's all that I need. My very first match in this division and the new year will begin with an impact made and the fact that this new year begins in the only city that's worthy enough to see Chris Jericho live in action, the only city that's not filled with liars and hypocrites. This is the real city, Josh. This is the best city on this planet. This is Toronto!

*The crowd loudly chants "Y2J" as Matthews goes on with his next question.*

At the Pay-Per-View, you said you were going to be the next United States Champion. Now, Shawn Michaels has beaten not one, but two Superstars at this very Pay-Per-View. Does that create any doubts in your mind of defeating Shawn Michaels one day, to become the United States Champion?



{Chris Jericho}
Let me tell you something, Josh. It wouldn't matter if Shawn Michaels defeated 5 opponents at the Pay-Per-View, I would still be better than these 5 opponents combined. Shawn Michaels should stop wasting his time with these nobodies and go on to fight a real competitor and that's exactly what I am. There's no doubt that Shawn Michaels still has what it takes to compeat in that ring, but he damn well knows that he can not beat Chris Jericho. Shawn Michaels performs for these hypocrites every single night. He always puts up one hell of a fight, no matter who he faces in that ring. These people love him, but I despise Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels should not be the United States Champion. Shawn may still have what it takes to compeat, but just like Booker T he is nothing more than a has-been who is stealing my on-air time. I will show the world that I am the true icon of this company. Tonight, I will prove that these Superstars are nothing compared to the legendary Chris Jericho. I will earn that United States Championship match in a heartbeat. And I am gonna beat every single Superstar there is to beat to destroy Shawn Michaels and become the new United States Champion.

It seems like you still love these fans here in Toronto, but what makes the crowd of Toronto better than all the rest?



{Chris Jericho}
It's simple to answer that, Josh. These people know what talent means. These people know that I am the best in the world at what I do. This crowd live here tonight is what Chris Jericho likes to call a real crowd. A crowd that cheers for the deserving, for the honest and greatest Superstars this company has to offer. I am their hero, these people aren't hypocrites and parasites like all the rest. And I know they would love to see me compeat in the Main Event here tonight, but sadly that's not gonna happen. But you people better listen closely and mark my words, because the next time Chris Jericho returns to Toronto, he will enter this arena with a Championship around his waist and you people will once again get to witness the true greatness of Chris Jericho.



*The crowd cheers loudly as Jericho smirks while the camera fades off.*

*Breakdown returns from a commercial, where JB is in the back ready to conduct an interview with the returning AJ Styles.*



JB: Ladies and Gentlemen allow me to introduce to you at this time, the phenomenal AJ Styles. Now AJ, for the people who don't know who you are, can you briefly tell us about your history here in XWL?

AJ Styles: Ever since being fired all those months ago after my feud with Kevin Steen, to coming back and doing nothing noteworthy since my return to XWL. Becoming nothing but a shell of my former self. I will not take it, no, not anymore. The man that got me fired has risen to the top and was a champion while I have done nothing in my absence. But that's in the past. I have returned to where I rightfully belong. On Redemption, ever since the rivalry with Kevin Steen, I failed to come out victorious in matches I know you should have, I failed to make an impact, but that's why after taking a much needed brief hiatus, I'm back and on a brand where I can begin a fresh start. Breakdown is going to be my redemption in this ever changing world known as Professional Wrestling, I'm more focused than ever and I know I'm not getting a title shot straight away, and I'm glad about that because when I do get my opportunity at a championship, I will know I deserved it. I will defeat anybody in my way until I am considered the greatest wrestler in the history of XWL. Now Kevin, I'm willing to let bygones be bygones if you are willing to do the same.



JB: Now that you have returned to XWL, do you think fans have forgotten who you are?

AJ Styles: No, I don't. I have been liked by the fans since I first stepped into this company and I will continue to be liked long after I'm gone. I'm not stroking my ego if that's what you're thinking. As long as I'm in a wrestling ring, I will continue to give these people their money's worth. I will continue to entertain them even if I have to go through a table, fall off a ladder, or even take a chair shot to the head. If that's not dedication, I don't know what is.



JB: What is next for AJ Styles now that you're back?

AJ Styles: Well first things first, I've got to start at the bottom and work my way up. It's going to be a long and tedious climb to the top, but when I reach it, it will all be worth it. These fans will be the fuel that I need to continue when things get rough. As long as there is breath in my body, I will not quit and and as long as there is fight left in me, I will not back down from a challenge. Anyone who gets put against me will get AJ Styles at 100%, regardless if it's a title match or not.



JB: What are your thoughts on your opponent tonight, Alberto Del Rio?

AJ Styles: I have nothing bad to say about Alberto. We've never really talked or fought each other so it's uncharted territory. All I know about Del Rio is that he can go in the ring. I didn't see X-treme X-mas so I don't know if he won or lost against Eddie Guerrero. If he won then he's going to go into this match with overconfidence and if he lost he's going into this match really angry, which will work against him. Either way, if he underestimates me, he's going to be looking at the arena ceiling, but you already know that.*AJ Styles winks at the camera*



JB: Any final words before this interview is over?

AJ Styles: I will make my return to Breakdown tonight and anyone who get put in my path will know what it feels like to be “Phenomenal.”

*AJ rises from his seat, shakes JB's hand, and walks off screen as Breakdown fades to black.*

Breakdown returns , and the camera pans across the crowd. The crowd is going nuts. Then suddenly X-pacs music hits,and the crowd gets even louder!

X-pac comes out , and he does not have the normal happy look on his face. He simply walks to the ring with a serious look , rather than the normal dx theatrics.
He rolls into the ring , and demands a microphone

You know. ive always been about making my fans happy. in fact i bet i know what you fans would like. I bet you'd like me to get old road dogg jessie james , HHH , and HBK , and i bet youd like for me to bring DX back togethere wouldnt you.



**The crowd pops with a big cheer just thinking of a DX REUNION!

Of course you would.....
I bet you would also like me to come out here and dance for ya , and play the dx music {wouldnt you?

I didnt come back to simply be on the roster . I am here for a destinct purpose. You will see soon What or WHO my target is here in the XWL . For now every superstar back in that locker room better WATCH THEIR BACKS!


SUDDENLY..THE TITANTRON goes off , and X-pac lowers the mic and stares at the screen in disbelief.

**Chyna smiles as the crowd cheers. She walks over and hugs X-pac. X-pac then raises her hand as they both stand in cheers.

**X-pac rips his DX shirt off to reveal his old x-pac attire. He then stares at Chyna with an empty look in his eye. He exits the ring , walks up the ramp and turns and faces the crowd , and shouts

"THE "D" IS DEAD BUT THE "X" LIVES FOREVER BABY!!

** X-pac still with an empty , scary look in his eyes. He continues to stare at Chyna still down in the ring. The camera zooms in on his face , while slowly fading out to a commercial

The Wolf's Review

Opening Promo: Epic Stuff guys. All parts were well written and this storyline is awesome. I like how there is struggle for power between the 2 and they both get some people to help back their cases up. Alan, I know people have been saying it a lot but you really do play Dolph really good. I love his cocky attitude or should I say "showoff"? But yeah great stuff from Dolph once more. Then we get John Cena who is basically vinatge John Cena, all about about the fans and showing who is more popular. Then the ending was great first Johnny tells us that both have until Final Stand to prove us whos the better General Manager which is awesome but.....DAT ENDING!! Chris Hero FTW!! nah great ending to the segmant showing the Resistance is still strong and well some sick chairshots. Good Stuff guys

Chris Hero Promo: Good to see that Chris Hero is back and still part of the resistance. This was a great promo but didn't expect anything less. I liked how you were talking about how the resistance is still strong and will never die. Very strong words towards Mick and strong towards Edge. Hero has unfinished business with Edge and I can see this feud heating up to boiling point. Once again great stuff.

Taker Promo: Cool, So Bang you have taken up the Deadman and carried on the American Badass gimmick. Anyway great promo here. Great stuff explaining what your thoughts are on your loss with against Miz and the stuff you had gone through with Awesome Truth. Then I like how you go on to show you intentions on Breakdown since you have been drafted. A pissed off Taker right here, I feel sorry for whomever is his first victim. Great stuff Bang.

Chris Jericho Promo: Nice promo. Good to see that Jericho isn't taking the drop down to the US division too bad and is looking to get a shot at the title sooner than later. Very Jericho like this promo was talking trash about HBK and his opponent tonight in Booker T. Good stuff man and keep it up.

AJ Styles Promo: AJ is back......Again? Nah seriously good stuff mentioning how since some certain someone who happens to be writing his got your ass fired. Good stuff talking about how you are back and looking to get back to the best AJ Styles. Good stuff and keep it up, But Kevin Steen doesn't let bygones be bygones so basically stay away from Redemption

Xpac Promo: Ok any reason why this is in a quoted box?? Anyway on to the promo. This was good promo, wasn't the best I have read so far whilst doing this review but it was still good. A little short on content, but where you going with it is good. I like the introduction of Chyna and you hitting the XFactor on her.
