Breakdown rolls on and we are brought backstage where we see a bruised up The Brian Kendrick sitting in a lounge chair with a cast around his leg. The crowd begins to boo as he welcomes everybody to the third episode of The BK Lougne
{The Brian Kendrick} Ladies and Gentleman welcome to The BK Lougne, the talk show where questions that actually need answering get asked. Tonight my guest is a wrestler that I believe has wronged me in the past, well I used to believe this, you see ever since my undefeated steak since my return was ended by Sin Cara and I lost.. lost the X-Treme Title.. I've come to realize that I'm not ready to accomplish that which I know I one day will accomplish. Last night I was humbled, last night I was defeated, last night I was injured..
The Brian Kendrick nods to his leg
{The Brian Kendrick} I now realize that humility is truth, humility is courage, and I am courage. I may have been humbled, I may have been injured, but I will never give up my dream to one day be well, where my guest for this evening is, at the top of the XWL, one of the names that matters, Brian Kendrick, that's right Brian Kendrick, will one day be mentioned along with The Rock, along with John Cena, along with.. Ted DiBiase.
The camera then pans to the left of Kendrick showing as cheerful looking as always Ted DiBiase, and he's even sporting a Happy New Year paper hat!
{Ted DiBiase} Thank you for having me, Brian. Been hearing an awful lot about this little show you've had going on so I thought I'd check it out for myself!
{The Brian Kendrick} Well I'm really glad you did Ted, but enough small talk time for the questions. I'll start off with the question that everybody probably is wondering... Do you think that you are ready to once again take a shot at the World Heavyweight Title? And if so then who do you think would be the tougher opponent, Wade Barrett or CM Punk?
{Ted DiBiase} More than ever, man! 2012 is my year, you can quote me on that, hashtag that, or engrave it in stone! This is the year I've been working so hard for...I feel it, I just know it...As for who the tough opponent would be, ah, yeah, that's a tough one...I mean I've faced both of them, I was in the final two with Punker in chamber back in September. But then I've also faced Wade more than probably anyone on the entire roster...Just based on last night alone though, I'd say Wade is probably the tougher opponent, dude went through three title matches in one night, and won them all! Don't get me wrong though, as scary as that accomplishment is, it just made me want that title that much more!
{The Brian Kendrick} Well I wish you luck man, seeing as Wade defeated three other men in a TLC Match and was still able to retain against Batista when he cashed in you might need it. Speaking about wrestlers who deserve respect, what are your thoughts on The Undertaker returning all those months ago? Do you think that he will ever seek revenge for burying him? Maybe the World Title isn't all you have to worry about? Thoughts?
{Ted DiBiase} I mean we all knew he wouldn't be gone for long...Dude has been buried alive more times than I can count on my hands and he keeps coming back! Secretly I knew he'd be back, but I guess due to our history and how heated things got part of me hoped he was finally really gone. But I really don't know...I'm always up for a fight should he try to enact some kind of revenge...But he seems to have his hands full with The Miz, so I think I'm safe for now.
{The Brian Kendrick} Or maybe he's safe for now, I mean last time you two faced off you proved that you were the better man.. that is if The Undertaker truly is a mortal man. But that's besides the point, onto my next question. As you know I was once apart of The Resistance.. that's right, was once, but I now see that cowardly attacks and constant complaining is no way to achieve true justice, no, now I have realized that The Resistance and Brian Kendrick go together as well as Cody Rhodes and Mick Foley.. speaking of which I guess I'll turn this into a double question for ya.. What's your take on The Resistance's rebirth, and Cody Rhodes and Mick Foley's joint GM status?
{Ted DiBiase} Personally I never got the whole "everyone is out to get me" mentality that The Resistance had. Cody and I may go way back, but hearing he and others just complain about EVERYTHING...Really has gotten old, I'm all about going against those that wrong you, but were The Resistance ever truly wronged to begin with? They had some bad luck sure, but you're looking at a guy that doesn't exactly have the best luck either. You don't see me forming some huge stable hijacking the show and attacking anyone and everyone like a pack of wild cowards. As for the Cody and Foley general manager dynamic, it's certainly going to be interesting that's for sure. I know The Resistance may have depleted in numbers, but I think they already made enough of an impact to make these next few months until Final Stand a very interesting quarter. They made a lot of enemies, and they made some allies too, So add that in with the absolute differences in Cody and Mick's way of running the show, and you've got some compelling television right there.
{The Brian Kendrick} I agree, The Resistance's numbers has been replaced with unity as of late, to be honest Hero and Rhodes seem more like a tag team than a stable, and Layla is the vintage diva for the tag team, kind of like what Ashley did with myself and Paul London back in the WWE, speaking of which I was thinking of calling Paul up and asking if he would like to reform Lodrick, hopefully the XWL will start to put some focus on the tag teams of the XWL. This leads to my next question, if you could pick anyone to tag with whether it be long term or just for one match, who would it be?
{Ted DiBiase} You know there's a lot of people I wouldn't mind tagging up with, Gabriel and I could reform our little duo we had last year. We were undefeated ya' know, until well, you get the picture. Cena and I could make another good tag-team, but I think the person I'd most like to tag up with would be a really old friend of mine, Daniel Bryan. He and I toured Japan years back and we became really good friends during that time, he's actually almost as cheesy as I am, almost. But I know we'd be a real force to be reckoned with if we ever tagged up sometime.
{The Brian Kendrick} Ahh, Daniel Bryan and I go way back as well, like I said in last week's episode of the BK Lounge my first ever professional wrestling match was against Bryan, it ended in a ten minute time limit draw, great match, that was back when he was known as the American Dragon and I Spanky, good times. I actually won my first ever title by defeating Bryan for the MCW Southern Light Heavy Weight Championship, and became a double champion when myself and Bryan won the MCW Tag Team Titles as well! Myself and Bryan got a standing ovation after our Indy's King of the Ring Match back in 2001, he won but what a match it was! After being released from the WWE I returned to the indy scene and my first ever match was against Bryan, I managed to defeat him after a low blow, not too proud of that, but as you can see myself and Bryan have a lot of history, we were also both trained by Regal and HBK, if there was anyone in the XWL that I would want to tag with it would obviously be Paul London, but if there was anyone in the XWL I would want to face off with for the sake of competition it would defiantly be The American Dragon. How about you Ted? Who's your favorite wrestler in the XWL to face?
{Ted DiBiase} My favorite to face? I guess personally, and oddly enough that'd be Wade Barrett. I know, I got my ass kicked so much during the course of my rivalry with him, but he brought out the best in me, ya' know? Like what other person alive could have found the strength in themselves, after being slammed through the top of the Hell in a cell roof to kick out?! I wanted to beat him, I wanted to realize that dream of being a champion, and I think facing him just always made me push myself past the limit. Don't get me wrong, I always put in as much as I can into a match, but when you face someone that you've got so much animosity with and whatnot...It just gives you the will to fight through anything! I think that's what captivated a lot of people during our rivalry, he may have been extremely dominant, but because of that he always brought out this almost super human ability within me.
{The Brian Kendrick} Well Ted, it's time for the Million Dollar Son to answer the Million Dollar Question, what's the deal with yourself and Maryse!?!
Ted's face turns red slightly as he lightly laughs.
{Ted DiBiase} Why whatever do you mean?
{The Brian Kendrick} Well, come on man you know what I mean. For starters you two kissed after your.. what fifteenth win in a row? Don't play dumb man!
{Ted DiBiase} Me? Play dumb? Never!
Ted laughs again, while Kendrick just stares straight at him awaiting his response.
{Ted DiBiase} Okay okay, I know a lot of people have been wondering about what's going on between us for the past couple of months...And the truth to the matter is that...
Suddenly Ted's watch begins to beep as if it had been set to alarm him of a certain time. He looks at it and sighs in relief before jumping out of his seat.
{Ted DiBiase} Wow...Would ya' look at the time! I appreciate you having me Brian, and as much as I'd love to continue this interview. I've got to be heading out, got a DiBiase Posse party to attend in just a short while, then I've gotta get prepared for the main-event tonight, my schedule is just booked solid. I'm really sorry but we'll have to continue this some other time. But thanks again, get well soon, and Happy New Year!
He starts to dash away in a rather quick manner, and despite Brian's best efforts of trying to get Ted's answer, within the blink of an eye DiBiase was out of sight leaving Kendrick in a state of confusion.

*Following a promotional video for The American Dragon, we return live to the New Year Spectacular Edition of XWL Breakdown to the sound of the new World Heavyweight Champion's music.*
[Justin Roberts] Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the NEW World Heavyweight Champion... WADE BARRETT!
*On cue, the first double champion in over a year makes his entrance to a huge roar of disapproval from the XWL Universe. As Barrett makes his way to the ring several chants calling for Batista can be heard as the fans try and summon The Animal to gain some revenge for what happened at X-treme Xmas. Barrett acknowledges the chants by laughing to himself as he continues making his journey towards the ring.*
[Michael Cole] All hail Wade Barrett! What a man this champion will be! You only need look at this past Sunday as proof of that. Not only did he defeat Tyson Kidd in an Extreme Rules match, but he then went on to win the World Heavyweight Championship and realize his dream by defeating CM Punk, Randy Savage and Justin Gabriel in a TLC match! THEN in the most shocking moment of the night, he somehow overcame The Animal Batista who returned to cash in his Money In The Bank contract! Barrett is unbelievable!
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] You're right. After last Sunday I had to re-watch the Pay-Per-View to make sure what I witnessed really happened. It really was unbelievable and I've gained some respect for Barrett after what he accomplished. But only as an in-ring competitor mind you, I still don't like him as a person or his attitude.
[Jim Ross] He sure has turned into one hell of a competitor and has won the most prized championship in this industry in just under one year. He is arguably one of the most dominant men in XWL history and one has to wonder who or what will be able to stop this man?
*Barrett is beaming as he enters the ring and is handed a mic by ring announcer Justin Roberts, who then swiftly departs the ring. As Barrett's music dies down, his grin grows ever wider as the crowd's boss intensify. After a few moments of this pass, Barrett raises the mic and begins to address the live audience and millions watching around the world. Stitches as a result of his battle scars and injuries can clearly be seen upon his face.*
[Wade Barrett] This past Sunday at X-treme X-mas the inevitable happened when I became World Heavyweight Champion for the very first time. Ever since I debuted almost exactly one year ago I have said that this moment would come - when I am stood in this ring as World Heavyweight Champion - and now that is a reality. And I have to say, I feel pretty good about myself. Not only did I have the most successful debut year in XWL history in 2011... picking up countless victories... winning the Intercontinental Championship twice... being awarded a Slammy Award for Newcomer Of The Year... and capping it all off with a World title victory... but I have started 2012 in the best way possible. Standing before you is the greatest professional wrestler in the world today, and I have the record and the gold to prove that. If anyone wants to argue that point, you're either mentally challenged or looking for a fight. And I have absolutely no problem with adding another name to the long list of people who have fallen to the Barrett Barrage.
[Wade Barrett] That list grows longer and longer... Dolph Ziggler will shortly be added to that list... yet I still have my doubters. I can see all of you in the crowd right now wishing that Sunday never happened. Praying that tonight or sometime soon that I will lose my titles and fall from grace, forever cast aside and lost to obscurity. But every successful man has his share of doubters. The fact is, normal, average people don't like success. They envy it. I don't care if you boo me out of the building every night... I will be champion for a long time to come and neither of my titles are going to be tarnished by some untalented waste of space any time soon. I have shown on more than one occasion what I am capable of. I have defeated five men in one night, and I have won three title matches in one night, even overcoming a Money In The Bank cash-in from the man many people considered as one of the faces of this company, Batista. But where is Batista now? Let's take a look shall we?
*Barrett looks towards the tron and footage begins to play. It's a highlight package of Batista's failed MITB cash-in. From Jim Ross' verbal orgasm as Batista makes his entrance, to Barrett dominating The Animal somehow despite several injures, to the end where Batista is nothing more than a beaten, broken shell of his usual imposing figure. Barrett is show celebrating with the World title with a huge smirk on his face. The last image before the video ends is a still of a very emotional Batista following his devastating loss despite having the odds insanely stacked in his favour.*
*A significant amount of heat rains down on Barrett as the video concludes. Barrett smirks in amusement at The Animal's demise and absorbs the fans' hatred for several moments.*
[Jim Ross] That's just disrespectful.
[Michael Cole] But it's true JR! Batista is at home right now crying his eyes out! I know that for a fact because I spoke to him earlier today!
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] You did?
[Michael Cole] Yes!
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Right...
*A few seconds pass before Barrett resumes speaking.*
[Wade Barrett] Oh look at that! The Big Bad Animal who is ever so-dominant turned out to be nothing more than a pathetic little puppy when placed in a match with actual competition. And I had already competed in two matches before I destroyed and humiliated him! I'll tell you where Batista is right now... Right now, Batista is at home crying himself to sleep, wondering what could have been had he actually had a fiber of talent in his entire being. He's just like every other product of the XWL machine that this company like to shove down your throats. Just like Ted Dibiase, Justin Gabriel and more recently CM Punk... Batista doesn't have any substance whatsoever and I exposed him as the mediocre competitor that he is by defeating him with several bruised ribs, lacerations *Wade motions above his eye to the stitches* and internal bleeding. I was nowhere near my peak of fitness yet I still managed to out-wrestle and dominate Batista who has done nothing but sit at home preparing to cash in that case for months. Even after months of preparation, he still managed to commit arguably the biggest failure in XWL history... and propel my greatness to new heights. Nobody has ever defeated five men in one night until Wade Barrett came along and ran the Gauntlet at Unforgiven last year... and nobody has ever won three title matches in one night until this past Sunday... and thanks to Batista, that is now another accomplishment under my name.
[Wade Barrett] So what's next for me now that I've finally accomplished my dream of becoming World Champion and the first ever British World Champion in XWL history? I've pretty much accomplished everything with ease within a year... Maybe I should just sit back and relax and watch some of the monkeys sat in that locker room attempt to wrestle for a while for my own amusement... or maybe I should go back home to England, a country of class while I heal up for a few weeks - a place where they actually appreciate true talent and ability... unlike you ungrateful Canadians and Yanks this side of the pond...
*Barrett is cut off by the sound of a familiar theme...*
*Justin Gabriel appears from behind the curtain, and appears to be in high spirits despite coming up short in the World Championship match at X-Treme X-mas*
[Michael Cole] Oh, not this goofball! He should be at home crying just like Batista after falling short when given a huge opportunity YET AGAIN!
[Jim Ross] That's harsh Cole. Gabriel came close to accomplishing his dream last night. He almost had the title won at one point but it was just not to be. But despite his loss, he looks to be in a good mood tonight, as always, and he's not letting the loss dishearten him like many others would.
*Gabriel makes his way down to the ring and grabs a microphone*
[Justin Gabriel] Before you get any further... I came out here for two reasons. First because I'm pretty sure everybody in this arena is tired of listening to you. *The audience cheers for Gabriel's comment* and secondly, you walking out of that TLC Match with the World Title, wasn't skill , it was luck, you got lucky. Okay, sure after that match you destroyed Batista but let's face it Batista had been nothing compared what he used to be. I was inches away from becoming World Champion last night, I got closer to bringing that title down than CM Punk or Macho did. You just got that split second and pulled down that title, like I said that isn't skill.. It was just luck. But congrats Wade.. You made it to top of this business. Back in The Corre we both promised that we would be World Champion.... It looks like you kept that promise, so I guess it's now time for me to keep mine.
[Wade Barrett] Who do you think you are coming out here and interrupting me? You're not even relevant to me anymore Gabriel... I accomplished something on my first attempt that you have failed after several by becoming the World Champion this past Sunday against insurmountable odds. Don't you dare come out here and try and steal some of the spotlight I have rightfully earned. You've had more than your fair share of shots at the top spot and every single time you've failed. You're leagues behind me in every single way, so I suggest you head backstage right now before I give you another concussion...
[Justin Gabriel] I'm leagues behind you? Are you forgetting that you have never pinned me in our entire XWL History? That's right, you may have dominated your way through XWL but I'm one guy that you have never pinned. Yet, I'm one of the few guys who's actually pinned you, in the middle of this ring. And I know that given the chance that I could do it again.
[Wade Barrett] The only time you've ever pinned me, was in a three-way match which also included CM Punk. That doesn't count. It's been so long ago since I've actually lost in a one-on-one match, I can't even remember it. What makes you think that you'd be any different than everyone else who has tried to stand up to me and failed? All you ever do is fail in everything that you try and do. I helped you gain some rare success when we were together as part of The Corre when I took you under my wing, and I even helped you win your first championship in your XWL career. You've done absolutely nothing since The Corre disbanded and after everything I've taught you, you're still stuck in a void of mediocrity. You're pathetic.
[Justin Gabriel] Ever since The Corre disbanded I've had more success than I ever did with your "help". I've earned my title shots, sure I came up short but I've gone on to main event Pay-Per-Views, and put on some of the best matches of the show. Success isn't always based on winning titles. I've climbed the ladder here in XWL, and I've got near the very top, and that's all my own work. It's not down to you, but it's down to me. If you want to claim to be all these things, and act like I'm nothing in this business. Then how about you try and prove that? and I'm not talking in any multi-man matches, no triple threats,no fatal four ways. I'm on about just me and you.. one on one. and if you are so confident in your success then... I guess you'll have no problem making it for that title...
*Gabriel points at the World heavyweight title, as the crowd lets out a huge cheer for the proposed match.*
[Wade Barrett] You know what? I'll actually accept your proposal on one condition. That it's a Last Man Standing match which will take place at the next Pay-Per-View Over The Limit. That way, I can dispose of you once and for all, with no disqualifications and limitless ways to hurt and injure you. I can't think of a better way to stop you harassing me every week than by rendering you unconscious and confining you to a hospital bed for an extended period of time. Not only that, but the match will give me a very easy first title defense. So you're on, as long as you have the guts to accept my conditions.
[Justin Gabriel] You've got it. Since you know that you can't pin me.. then you can try keep me down for the 10 count. It's actually perfect for me, I've shown that I have the fighting spirit and I know that you'll have to throw at me everything you have to keep me down for a 10 count. But I know that this isn't your comfort zone.... that was proved when you lost to Ted DiBiase in a Last Man standing match. So I can't wait to be stood over your body, when you are laying in the middle of this ring out-cold as I raise up that World Heavyweight Championship...
[Wade Barrett] You can believe whatever you want to believe... but you have just made the biggest mistake of your life...
*Barrett drops his mic and both men stand almost nose to nose as they share an intense hate-filled stare. Barrett raises his World title up high...*
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] It's on!
[Jim Ross] The history between these two men has been well-documented and it all comes to a head later this month at Over The Limit for the grandest prize in this business!
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] It's going to be great! I can't wait!
[Michael Cole] I just don't understand why Gabriel gets yet another title shot. He'll only blow it just like all his other chances...
*As Gabriel turns to leave, Barrett takes a swing at him from behind with the World title, but Gabriel somehow knew it was coming and ducks before sliding out of the ring. Gabriel smirks back at Wade who is infuriated.*
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Barrett was outsmarted there!
[Jim Ross] It was like Gabriel had some sort of sixth sense and saw the attack coming. But who knows Barrett better than Gabriel?
[Michael Cole] Don't worry. He'll get what's coming to him at Over The Limit...
*The screen slowly fades to black to another promotional video. This time for AJ Lee...*

[As Bourne parades up the ramp Kurt Angle steps out and applauds sarcastically as Shelley slowly struggles to his feet. After having to struggle with his mask all match he isn’t in the mood for Angle and he rolls out of the ring, lifts up the ring skirt and pulls out a razor! The smug expression quickly disappears off of Angle’s face and is replaced with a look of pure horror as Shelley races up the ramp with the razor buzzing in his hand. Shelley tackles Angle to the ground and nearly takes off some flesh off of Angle’s head but security personnel immediately rush out and subdue the assailant. The razor is knocks out of Shelley’s hand and handcuffs are slapped onto his wrists. As Shelley is being escorted out Angle tries to get a Na Na Na, Na Na Na… Hey Hey Hey… Goodbye! song going but the people just boo him, but Angle doesn’t seem to care as he sings to himself while the show heads to commercial.]

As The New Year's special returns from a special advertisement for Over The Limit, we're taken backstage where Ted DiBiase is shown geared up and leaning against a wall messing with his phone. Just then he looks up as Dolph Ziggler starts to walk past him.
{Ted DiBiase} Hey look, it's hashtag HEEL!
{Dolph Ziggler} Hey look, it's hashtag dumbass!
Dolph gives ted a cocky smile and casually walks towards him.
{Dolph Ziggler} Nice to see you back here with all your fans dude, oh yeah.. you suck. Atleast you're number one conten- oh wait no, you suck. Well atleast you're funny! Oh.. no.. your jokes suck worse than you do.
{Ted DiBiase} Aren't you funny! So how's a going, Dolph? Doing good? I saw you became number one contender to Wade's Intercontinental Championship earlier, good for you! I'm sure that'll just make quite the conversation piece when you're on the same team later on tonight. But I'm sure things will go fine...It's not like you insulted him, oh wait....Well it's not like you're gunning for one of his titles, oh wait....I'm sure things will go just dandy, I mean it's not like you claimed your better than him, oh wait!
{Dolph Ziggler} Good Idea Ted! Copy what I say, and then maybe that way somebody might listen to you for once. Or or, better yet.. take an interest in you! Granted you'll have to kinda fix up a few things.. like.. well, everything. I mean Come on dude, you still getting your hair cut in that barbers college? I know you like your money, but saving it by letting inexperienced kids cut your hair isn't the best way of saving cash. You look like one of those horrible actors in the marine.. OH WAIT.. you WERE one of those horrible actors in the marine!
{Dolph Ziggler} Naw but really, great job in the movie. I guess every other actor was busy, it's alright though, you fit the role perfectly! Terrible movie, terrible actor. Now THAT is worth a hashtag. And that's hashtag, HEEL.
{Ted DiBiase} Wait, let me get this straight...Not only is Dolph Ziggler, a man that has never nor will ever star in a movie insulting the one I starred in..But Dolph Ziggler is also giving me haircut advice! Hold the phone, stop the presses, and call the president of the United States! I'm being punked aren't I? Is Ashton Kutcher hiding behind the corner? Come on out, Ashton. You sure got me there! I'm just messing with you though, but really you should do something about that clump of noodles on your head. It's starting to smell, and it just makes you look plain ridiculous.
{Dolph Ziggler} Hold up, hold up. I'm sorry Ted.. ridiculous? You sure we're talking about my hair and not your career? Whatevs, doesn't matter. 'Cause these "noodles" bring home more women than you could imagine dude. It's all good livin' off your dad's career, but I had to work to get where I am. Do you KNOW how long it took to grow this hair? Maybe you're mistaking me for somebody else.. as if THAT's possible..
{Dolph Ziggler} It's alright, you're clearly absentminded. Let me introduce myself. I'm Dolph Ziggler. I'm.. I'm kinda' a big deal around here. Maybe you've heard of me? I'm pretty much the biggest thing to come along since.. well, the beginning of time. But you don't have to take my word for it, just ask your little girlfriend.
Just as it looks like Ted's going to respond, a voice off in the distance shouts out Ted's name. He looks past Dolph and sees Maryse geared up for her #1 contenders match later. A smile comes across his face as she walks up to him placing her hand on his arm.
{Ted DiBiase} Well Dolph, it's been fun...But...
Ted then looks at Maryse, then back at Dolph with a slightly smug smile.
{Ted DiBiase} Do I even need say it?
As Ted & Maryse begin to walk away, Maryse throws up her hand telling Dolph to talk to the hand as she passes by him.
{Dolph Ziggler} Hey, don't touch me with that hand, I know where it's been.. with every guy in the locker room! Another day another dollar, right Maryse?
As Dolph shouts towards Ted and Maryse, they turn the corner at the end of the hallway, leaving Dolph alone. Before he leaves, Dolph turns to the cameramen and asks them a question.
{Dolph Ziggler} Anybody got some disinfectant or mouthwash or SOMETHING? It smells like skank over here!
Dolph smirks to himself before walking the opposite way and turning a corner so that the camera can't see him anymore. The camera fades from the backstage area, back to the show.

Sweetness* but that's a different move, I used to call it complete shot. WWE didn't give the move a name for Slater.

*Inside the building in Toronto, Canada the fans are taking in this special episode of Breakdown. Everyone is rather enjoying themselves and the feel of attending a live event, but then the theme of a man who they don't enjoy the presence of hits and the stadium in Toronto turns to boos.*
*Mason Ryan comes out from the back, to the same old-same old boos. Mason stares down the ramp and smirks, knowing that last week he beat just the man he said he would and these fans know it. Mason Ryan walks down the ramp with an intention and these fans can tell when he gets to the ring he'll be cutting a promo.*
**Mason Ryan walks down the ramp some more before reaching the end of the ramp. At the end of the ramp, Mason Ryan walks to the steel steps, and once at the steps he walks up them and then onto the ring apron. Mason walks half way across the apron and then steps into the ring and has a mic prepared for him before he begins to speak.*
[[Mason Ryan]] Last night, I did just what I said I would. I took it to Sheamus, I put him through hell and he did the same back to me but it's just not possible to come up with a win against me because just like in my match against Big Show, when it seemed like I was in trouble the most, I was able to kick out and keep fighting. And that's the bottom line, no matter how much punishment I endure, no matter what is done to me, I'll keep on fighting because just like my current 6-0 record will only grow bigger, so will my wrestling skills. I may be destroying man after man right now, but I'm also taking damage in every match. Last night Sheamus put me in a place that no one else went to, and we kept having to fight. Because like I've said before, I'm not fighting for myself alone. I'm fighting for everything I've said, and I'm fighting for all of the men who deserve to get somewhere but never do. None of you out in the crowd like me, not because I'm the bad guy, but because I don't choose to spend my time worshiping the ground that the "fans" walk on. You want us to be your fans more than you're going to be our fans back. You want us to have an undieing love for you that you don't return. And I'm not about that, I'm going to work for things that do pay off in the end. I'm working to bring a change here, I'm trying to get myself into the title scene that's so hard to get into here. And that, that will pay off in the end.
[Ryan lowers his mic to scan the crowd, making sure all eyes are on him and that he is the main focus right now before lifting his mic back up, now sure that he hasn't lost the fans', who are clearly uninterested anyways, attention.]
[[Mason Ryan]] I want to take out everyone who holds down the real talent here. I've started with Sheamus, and I must say, I did a pretty damn good job taking him out because Sheamus isn't at this show. In fact, Sheamus isn't even in XWL currently! I said that once I had been unleashed into the XWL, I would take out one man at a time and I've taken out one man so far. I may have only taken out one, but I am going to continue this path, the path of destruction, the path to victory. Every superstar here has a weakness, whether they show it or not they have a weakness. Whether that weakness is holding an innocent little fan hostage, a low blow, or if their weakness is as simple as not being as big as I am in the ring, I will find that weakness, and I will exploit it. I will show that even though all of you doubt me that I'm able to find a way to succeed. I don't need help from anyone like Curt Hawkins or Alex Riley.
*Mason Ryan pauses slightly and cracks a little bit of a smirk at the mere mention of his former stablemates in Riley and Hawkins.*
[[Mason Ryan]] And the fact that I'm undefeated just shows that. We have people who come out here claiming to be the best and wanting opportunities that they don't deserve all the time, but when I'm able to tell you something and then back it up, I deserve everything I'm telling you I should have. I deserve to be in a match for the United States Championship, but do you know why I don't have one? Because they know I'd win. They don't want me as a champion, they want to keep the same prototype of a champion that is Shawn Michaels or Kevin Steen. They want the Triple H's and now, even the Curt Hawkins's. Speaking of Curt, let me touch on my former "friend" for a second. Hawkins seemed like he was destined for greatness, destined like me and Alex Riley, to succeed. But then he turned his backs on us and became just like everyone else. Do you know how many times people have turned on their "friends"? Just a couple months back, Triple H turned on Shawn Michaels. You see Hawkins, turning on people isn't something new or something different, it's what has become expected. You can win the United States title, you can win anything you want Hawkins, but you're living in the fame of other people. You're following the same steps that other people have as well instead of making your own path and your own legacy. I'm not the same as everyone else, I'm different and that's why what I achieve will mean that much more.
[[Mason Ryan]] See, everyone seems to enjoy the men who do things the same way as everyone else because they know no different. There's an old saying I've heard, "You can't love what you never had", and that is the most true statement that there is out there. The only reason that the "same old same old" is what is loved here is because they've never had anything else. Hell, wrestling fans everywhere are still longing for the Attitude Era 10 years after it has ended. My question is why desire what was 10 years ago when there could be something even better in the future? It's not about the past anymore, the future is what should concern people because you can't change the past, but you CAN change the future. I didn't come here to XWL just to dominate, I came here to dominate with a purpose. Not to be undefeated for no reason at all, and I don't build my body up to be this big because I'm too dumb to get any other job. It all has a reason behind it, and the reason is to help the business which I love. Let me tell the story of how I got the idea of becoming a professional wrestler.
[[Mason Ryan]] I grew up watching the same stuff everyone watched, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, and the rest of em. And despite how much I loved the show, and how much I thought it was great, it was always missing something. And that's when I realized that there was always talent who was within the roster who you had to look for to see their real talent. There would be people who could have been the best there was, but instead, management never gave them the real shots they should have gotten. I know that I deserve to be a champion here and that's why unlike so many other people I'm not going to sit back and let it slide that I'm not a champion, no, I'm going to take a stand! I'm going to come out here every week and speak my mind and eventually there will be no choice other than to give me the title shot that I've deserved since I first stepped through the door!
*Mason Ryan again scans through the crowd, holding his mic a little lower and again making sure the booing fans are still watching him. Mason then raises the mic as the boos stay pretty loud for him and begins to speak.*
[[Mason Ryan]] It's no longer 2011, 2011 was the year which boringness was tolerated. But starting in 2012, the age of Mason Ryan will take full effect. I will reign supreme to show you all that I'm the most dominant member of this roster in the history of XWL. In this year, I'm going to win titles, take out more victims to Mason Ryan, and I promise by the end of the year I'll make sure everyone knows that no one can handle Mason Ryan.
*Mason Ryan drops the mic in the middle of the ring and stands there as we head to commercial.*
Not my best, but this was originally sent to someone to continue but they never responded so.... Rather than making a whole new promo I took the lazy way out.

Following a commercial break, we head inside the arena where Ted DiBiase's theme sounds to a tremendous reaction.
{Michael Cole} Oh not him! C'mon, don't we have to see him enough on Redemption?
{JR} You know I'm starting to think you don't like this young man, Cole.
{Michael Cole} I don't! I'm not going to act like the mindless sheep that cheer their heads off at him. I cannot stand Ted, his message is confusing and his actions are far from respectable. I mean look at my hand!
{King} You got that from stepping out of line and putting your hands on a superstar. It was instant karma at it's finest.
An ecstatic as always Ted DiBiase skips out from behind the curtain and out onto the stage.
Ted then continues his excited form of skipping down the ramp, and slaps the fans' hands along the way.
{Lillian Garcia} Ladies and gentlemen, from West Palm Beach, Florida, Ted DiBiase!!
He then stops at the bottom of the ramp, and walks over to an area of little kids and like a true hero of the fans he makes sure to touch each and every one of their hands with a bright smile on his face.
{Michael Cole} Bleh, this makes me sick! Can we please get onto something entertaining? Why must he ruin the New Years edition of Breakdown?
{JR} How is he ruining it? If anything he's making it oh so much better by giving these fans such a wonderful experience. The DiBiase Posse as he calls it is a very large group that makes up the XWL fans and it's always nice to see Ted to take his time to greet each and everyone of them that he can.
{Michael Cole} His time? We're live, JR! It's our time he's wasting, we could be seeing an instant classic match between two incredible athletes right now. But instead, we get to see Ted DiBiase suck up to all of these stupid Canadians.
{King} Will you just put a cork in it, Cole? Nobody cares about your opinion of Ted DiBiase so just don't say anything at all. Honestly I don't get this hatred you have for him. What did he ever do to you that was so bad? So what if he beat The Miz, it's wrestling, people win and lose, and Miz just happened to lose to Ted on that one night. Get over it already!
Ted continues his way down the bottom area of the ramp and comes across a member of The DiBiase Posse and her father both with signs supporting him. He notices a sharpie in her hand then with a delighted smile on his face he proceeds to autograph it for her.
Ted then hands the pen back to her and shouts "Don't sell that on Ebay for anything less than a million bucks!" with a cheesy smile on his face. He backs up and still feeling the electricity of this crowd he flashes another grin as he looks out into the audience.
After standing still in awe of the fans, he runs over to the other side of the ramp and high fives some of those fans while running alongside the barricade.
DiBiase stops near the corner area of the barricade, spreading his arms out, and letting the fans slap his hands.
Then he turns and dashes towards the ring apron, he places his knee up onto it before entering the ring as always.
{Michael Cole} Seriously what's the point in all of this? Who cares if he loves his fans, I want to see some damn wrestling, not some sap pandering to all of these people.
{JR} Will you give it a rest, Cole?
{Michael Cole} No, I most certainly will not. Because I'm the only one who has the no nonsense attitude to say what everyone is thinking!
{King} Not one person in this universe thinks how you do, Cole.
{Michael Cole} Oh whatever, why don't you go suck barbecue sauce through a straw with JR, and let me handle the commentary for the evening. It's quite clear I far exceed any of your "talents."
The cameras take us back into the ring, where Ted had made his way over to the far corner and propped himself up onto the second rope rallying his fans with an energetic pose.
As the fans give Ted another loud pop, he jumps back onto the mat and walks over to Lillian giving her a nod in her direction with his hand extended outward. She smiles back at him handing him her microphone, she then turns to exit the ring but, Ted stops her by holding his finger up. He walks past her and over to the ropes, places his foot on the bottom rope, and raises the middle rope up for her. She seems quite appreciative of his act of chivalry then exits the ring.
{Michael Cole} Will he just get on with it?
{King} He was being a gentleman, Cole...
{Michael Cole} Which again takes up unneeded time!
{JR} Will you two just quit bickering? Ted's got a microphone so let's listen to what the young man has to say.
Ted's shown in the ring with his microphone raised up as he looks out into the audience.
{Ted DiBiase} What's good Toronto!?
He turns around looking out at the other side of the ringside crowd.
DiBiase then turns back around still in awe of the fan's excitement for him.
{Ted DiBiase} Now I don't mean to take up your time, but I just had to come out here and get a load of just how amazing this feeling is. If you could only stand where I am right now. Looking out into one of the biggest and most lively bunch of folks these blue eyes have ever seen!
Another large pop follows at his last comment.
{Ted DiBiase} We're in a brand new year here in XWL. 2012, what some see as the end, I see as the beginning. The beginning of the cheesiest era in professional wrestling history! Yes my Posse, I'm talking about the day where this goofball that you see before you, finally realizes that childhood dream, and becomes World Heavyweight Champion! It's got a certain ring to it don't you agree?
He smiles as they cheer again.
{Ted DiBiase} But of course, before I can realize that dream, currently I would have to topple the machine that is Wade Barrett...I say machine because like, c'mon, what man could have not one, not two, but three title matches in one night, and win them all?! I kid of course, despite my history with Wade, and my burning desire to be the one that takes that title from him, I do wish him a well deserved congratulations. Like him or not, which I'm sure we're all agreed, we don't.
He lightly chuckles for a second as the fans cheer in agreement.
{Ted DiBiase} He did have an impressive night at X-treme X-mas. His Christmas was very merry, and his New Year couldn't have been happier! But as impressive as that was, tonight the team of Tedemption will run wild and make Breakdown beg for mercy! Me with my inherited Million Dollar Dream, John Cena with his STF, and Justin Gabriel with his...Um, well he'll just have to keep hitting 450 splash after 450 splash until they give up! It'll be a never before seen submission! It'll be as if we hit rewind over and over and over and over and over and over and over and OVER! Though that might not be such a good idea now that I think about it...
He awkwardly smiles with his hand on the back of his head slightly scratching it.
{Michael Cole} Oh this is just painful...He doesn't even know what he's saying! We're supposed to think this goofball to lead "Tedemption" which by the way is the most stupid play on names ever...But like I was saying, we're supposed to believe he can lead us to victory?! He can't even make any damn sense.
{JR} Will you lighten up, Cole?
{King} Ted's obviously just being his goofy self.
{Michael Cole} More like idiotic...
{Ted DiBiase} Actually, I've got it! I'll call my boy, D-Bry up and get him to teach Gabriel the sharpshooter! What do ya' think?
Another large pop follows the mention of the sharpshooter.
{Ted DiBiase} But seriously, whether it's by pinfall or submission, team Redemption will walk out victorious tonight! I mean hey, with me as their captain what can go wrong?
He smiles with the fans cheering more, but suddenly he's interrupted by the sound of this theme...
{Michael Cole} Now we have to put up with him too? As-if Ted wasn't bad enough, but now have to put up with this guy, who constantly flops when he gets the chance he claims he deserves!
Justin Gabriel makes way onto the stage to a huge pop from the crowd
{King} Well, These people seem to disagree with you get again,Cole.
{Michael Cole} These people are idiots, Jerry! They don't know anything about what's right for this business, that's why they cheer for goofballs like these two.
Gabriel makes his way down to the ring, get's onto the top rope, and does his signature taut, before pointing and smiling at Ted DiBiase. Gabriel gets into the ring, and grabs a microphone
[Justin Gabriel] Hold up,Teddy. Did you just say Team "Tedemption"? C'mon man, We all know that I'm the true captain of this team. But it's okay, It's just a misunderstanding we're still cool, and Either way We're still going to destroy Team Breakdown tonight. I'm sure that Cena can't wait to get his hands on Dwayne... I sure as hell can't wait to get my hands on Wade Barrett again and... Well, you can just take care of Dolph. Tonight, we go back to a whole year ago Ted.. me and you a team once more but this time It'll end slightly better than it did last time... Tonight, me you and John can stand here with our arms raised after I lead Team..Redemption to victory.
Ted smiles then raises his microphone up.
{Ted DiBiase} Yeah you're totally the captain, man.
He then puts his hand up to the side of his face and directs his words at the audience in a soft whispering tone.
{Ted DiBiase} I'm just saying that to be nice...We all know I'm really the captain, just play along.
He removes his hand and sees a smiling Justin looking right at him, he obviously heard what he said despite Ted's oh so discreet tactics.
[Justin Gabriel] Hey man, I'm cool with your jokes and everything but come on... I will be the one representing Redemption in the main event at Over The Limit. and After that match, I'll the one representing Redemption as World Heavyweight Champion so I think it's only fair that I'm the captain tonight. Plus, I am the only one with real Tag Team experience.
{Ted DiBiase} Maybe so, but do you have the deluxe collectors edition of Monopoly? I think not! But seriously man as awesome as it is that you've got one more match with Wade, and it's for the World Heavyweight Championship...I think that makes me the best person to lead us tonight. Are you forgetting I went head to head with him for four straight months? I know him like I know the back of my hand!
Justin starts to raise his microphone up with a slight smirk, but Ted stops him.
{Ted DiBiase} And don't say "but Ted, you lost to him on almost every occasion" you're not exactly doing so swell yourself, buddy. But with my leadership skills, and our history with Wade, knowing his tactics, and my history with Rock knowing his tactics as well, added with kicking Dolph's ass around the entire backstage area just over a year ago, makes me clearly the most qualified. I've got history with all three, I know their strengths, their weakness, and together, we'll kick each and everyone of their asses under my esteemed leadership. Besides, picture this....Dream Street in the end, Cena dives off the top rope with his five knuckle shuffle, just as you do that flippy dippy stuff and hit a 450 splash for the win! Sounds mighty good don't it?
[Justin Gabriel] Well first off, I'm the only one of us to have a pin fall over Wade Barret... But You're right, Tonight isn't about who's the better captain or which one of us can actually pin Wade. Tonight is about showing that Redemption is the most dominant Brand. Plus, lets look at Team Breakdown... In a few week Wade Barrett will have to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Dolph Ziggler... I really doubt them two will be able to work together tonight, not only because they both have giant Ego's but I sure as hell wouldn't want to team with a guy who want's to take away my Title. So no matter which of us two leads the team....
Gabriel is then cut off by a very familiar theme, fans jump to their feet in excitement
Cena rushes out onto the stage with a huge pop from the crowd as he runs over to each side smiling before going over to the cameraman who is close to the top of the stage
{John Cena} We couldn’t have team Redemption out in the ring without the captain could we?
Cena rushes away from the camera once more and stands in the center of the stage before raising his arm and performing a salute, he holds the salute for a few seconds before running down into the ring.
{Michael Cole} Oh god what does this goofball want now? Haven’t we already seen enough of John so far this show?
{King} Oh keep your mouth shut Cole, now we have the full team out now and just look, the audience are loving every minute of it! These 3 are some of the top superstars here so to see them all in the ring together representing their brand is great!
As Cena rushes into the ring, he goes over to the far side of the ring to get a mic before going over nearby Justin and Ted.
{John Cena} Now now guys let’s not begin to jump to any rash decisions, I’m sure both of you would make great captains but let’s just think it through here, now we all know that tonight it is going to be the leader of the CeNation who will be the captain of the team but like Justin said earlier we’re all still cool, I’m glad I could put us all on the same page. Now as probably both of you know I’m gonna admit I am not 100% tonight. Me and Dwayne took each other to the limit and well it was a tough match, tonight I get my hands on him again and well he isn’t going to get away so lucky this time.
{John Cena} Now Justin I’m sure you want to be the one to take care of Wade and well I’m cool with that, Wade is probably on the roll of his career having the World title and Intercontinental title so he’s all yours and well I think it’s pretty certain I’m going to want Rock so Ted like what happens in monopoly looks like you’re gonna be taking a chance and going against that greasy haired, self confessed heel, Dolph, but I know you, you should be able to take him. But at least one thing we all know for sure is that at the end of the night to mark this new years special Team Redemption will be standing tall! And quite frankly I know no better place where we could have done it other than right here in Toronto Canada!
A large pop from the crowd is heard as the city is mentioned.
{Ted DiBiase} Couldn't agree more with ya' there, John. Although we may have a comedic disagreement as to who is leading this team...Which it's obviously me, you're both just in denial, and that's okay. But like I was saying, it doesn't matter who the captain is, because at the end of the night, we'll be the ones with our arms raised in victory, Redemption will start this new year off proving just why we three are the ones to watch this year. Justin wants that World title, you want that United States Championship that has eluded you despite putting up a hell of a fight any chance you get, something always happens to put a stop to that...And me, when Justin fails at beating Wade, I'll gladly step in and save us all from the era of Barrett!
Gabriel glares at Ted for a slight moment.
{Ted DiBiase} I'm just kidding buddy! We both know you're going to end that reign of terror at Over The Limit.
Ted raises his hand up for a high-five, which Gabriel after lightly chuckling high-fives Ted.
{Ted DiBiase} And then, just six short weeks later....In the main-event of Final Stand...Two men, once friends, then enemies, and friends again! Will face off in a one on one for the biggest prize in this industry! And this time I'll turn on you!
Ted laughs playfully obviously just messing with Justin.
[Justin Gabriel] Well Ted, I think we all know you'd never turn your back on your Posse. But that would be a great match and a great story, I mean a year ago You beat like like 4 times? So what an ending it would be to the story for me to finally beat you at Final Stand! But right now, We are stood here, all on the same page. Ready to destroy Wade,Dwayne and Dolph. It doesn't matter that I'm the captain, all that matters is we are all stood here victorious when the night is over.
{John Cena} I couldn’t Justin, and I feel honoured that I get to be the man to lead this team into victory. Ted what you said was absolutely correct too, we all have our sights set on a title whether it’s you two looking for World Title gold or me who has my eyes set on Shawns US title, and one way or another after this Dwayne thing blows over I would love to have a shot at it cause I’m sure it would blow the roof of whichever arena we face in! But enough about that that’s a different story for a different place in the future, as for right now we all have to be focused on what is going down tonight! Now Wade, Dolph and Dwayne aren’t even gonna know what hit them cause unlike them we actually have team chemistry, I mean we are all out here talking having a laugh but all of them well they all want as much attention on themselves as they can possibly get. Besides Dolph just became the new number one contender earlier tonight, so we may see their team implode before we even get started.
{Ted DiBiase} Oh don't even get me started on Dolph...All he does is talk about how good he is, does this weird handstand thing, and calls himself a HEEL every five seconds. Don't get me wrong, he's incredibly talented, but dude has an ego that just won't quit! Speaking of ego's one of his partners probably has the biggest ego I've ever seen! Dwanyne Johnson, formerly known as The Rock, and currently known as the bitch. Once was a man I thought had it all, the talent, the charisma, the fans, the accomplishments, everything a man could want, he had it...But what happened? He lost his World title, and instead of owning up to the fact his time had just passed. What did he do? He played the game that so many just love in this company! The game that's taking the locker room by storm, especially if you're in The Resistance...That's right folks, I'm talking about the blame game! He blamed all of you, he blamed me, he blamed his publicist, he blamed Sin Cara Azul, and Negro, what did they ever do him anyways? But I'm getting off track, my point is that everyone who isn't Dwayne Johnson, he blamed.
{Michael Cole} Why shouldn't The Rock blame them all? It's clearly not his fault! They turned on him, it wasn't the other way around. Ted DiBiase is spreading boldface slanderous lies right now!
{JR} Oh shush, Cole.
{Ted DiBiase} Oh and let's not forget his new movie that's out soon...A movie, about him himself, isn't that classy! Is anyone actually going to go see that movie? Show of hands?
The cameras then pan around the arena showing not one hand raised no matter which part of the audience they show.
{Ted DiBiase} That's what I thought. And then we've got Wade Barrett...Actually, I think we should hear all about Wade from a man that knows him even better than I do! A man that was blinded by the glitz and glamour of what Wade was offering...And found himself in the position of being nothing but his lackey...A man that had the talent, the passion, everything a superstar needed he had...But Wade saw him as threat so he kept him close...Holding him back from what he could be. Sure he was United States Champion, and that's a big deal, but the man I'm talking of was capable of so much more...Everyone saw it, they knew he had the potential, and finally that man saw it too...He saw he was better than Wade, he realized he was being held back all those months...He saw that Wade needed him more than he did. That man I'm speaking of, is a man I'm proud to call my friend. A man that I'm equally as proud to say will be challenging Wade Barrett at Over The Limit, and walking out The World Heavyweight Champion! Give it up for Justin Gabriel everyone!
Ted places his microphone between his arm and his side and begins to lead the crowd in an applause which Cena happily joins in on.
[Justin Gabriel] It's okay... We have nothing to Worry about when it come to Wade. As long as we don't turn our backs to him, then we'll be fine. You know as-well a I do,that Wade just loves his attacks from behind and, He can be called a champion all he wants, but he will never be a true champion. He's too much of a coward to ever be a true champion, and I finally get my one on one title shot at The World Title.. and I can't wait to take that title from Wade Barrett. I guess that it will all come down to Over The Limit.. we finally find out who the better member of The Corre really was. But tonight, Wade Barrett will get a little preview of what will be coming for him at Over The Limit. All 3 of us have our targets going into this match, and Unlike team Breakdown they are all on the opposite team.
{John Cena} Now now we all know Wade is a bit of a coward but I think the man deserves a little bit of respect, I mean he was in 3 title matches and he walked out victorious in every single one of them, and well that’s pretty impressive, but not as impressive as when me you and the monopoly man here take Team Breakdown by storm and leave them all scattered around this ring. Now Justin don’t worry man I mean I know you can beat Wade and I want you to win, who knows in the future we may see you and Ted fight for that title and put on one of the greatest matches this company has ever seen!
{John Cena} But well I think we should think about tonight and get that out of the way before we move on and practically hand Justin his world title. But tonight us 3 are going to need to be on the same page, now all them are going to want the spotlight for themselves and well they will all want to one up each other on making an impact tonight but we just need to focus and get the job done. So tonight when we go against the man who’s taken one too many shots to his british teabags, a failed toothfairy and the twitter obsessed greaseball well we need to bring our A game and prove to the world just why Redemption is the best brand this company has ever seen! Tonight together we will rise above the hate and if any of those 3 are in the back listening, we are not afraid of a fight, infact….IF YOU WANT SOME….
Before Cena has time to speak he is cut off by Ted
{Ted DiBiase} COME GET…
Before Ted has time to finish off his sentence he is cut off by Justin Gabriel
[Justin Gabriel] SOME.
Cena looks on at both men smiling as Ted seems a bit shocked of Gabriel cutting him off to finish his sentence, but after a brief moment Ted and Gabriel are smiling too and all 3 men exchange a few words as they drop the mics and climb to the top ropes cheering and living up to the fans.
As Cena’s theme hits all 3 men are still stood on the top rope showing their appreciation to the fans and rallying them along as they continue to cheer for the 3 fan favourites. After a few moments the camera begins to slowly fade out to a video hyping up this years upcoming Final Stand.

Josh Mathews is seen running through the halls to catch up with a very pissed looking Rock
[Josh Mathews] Rock! Rock!.....I was....I was wondering if you could give me a few words about what happened last night at X-Treme Xmas? You and John Cena both fell fifteen feet to solid concrete! Are you even going to be cleared to compete here toni....
[The Rock] For the love of god will you shut your damn mouth! If The Rock wanted an interview with a sixteen year old panic merchant trying to get the big scoop he would have asked for one! Yeah last night The Rock fell fifteen feet off of the stage, whoop te doo! Did The Rock lose the match? No! Did John Cena win the match? No! The fact of the matter is this Jean
[Josh Mathews] My name is Jo..
[The Rock] IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS! The only thing that matters is that The Rock went into that match up having never said those two little words in his life! Now, now The Rock stands before you, beaten, bruised and battered but STILL, STILL! He has not uttered the words that everyone wanted to hear!
[Josh Mathews] But how will you cope with tonight's blockbuster main event in your condition? Tonight you will face off against Ted DiBiase, Justin Gabriel and your rival John Cena...
[The Rock] Don't you get it? The Rock has been in this business for over a decade! He knows how it works! He doesn't have to get some little errand boy to tell him his matches he simply checks them himself! Tonight The Rock will walk down that ramp and into The Rocks ring and with the fury of Vickie Guerrero at a buffets closing he will layeth the breakdown on all of their candy asses! Ted DiBiase, he is a wanna, a loser, a coattail riding piss stain on the underwear of this company! The Rocks thoughts on Justin Gabriel are well documented, he should be shining the shoes of the dark match competitors, he should get a damn haircut and he should stay the hell out of The Rocks way for good! As for John Cena, The Rock has got NOTHING more to say about John Cena, tonight, tonight The Rocks actions will do the talking for him!
[Josh Mathews] So you're feeling confident as ever then? Well then you must be overjoyed that in your corner you have not only The World Heavyweight Champion, but one of the fastest rising XWL superstars in recent memory, Dolph Ziggler.
[The Rock].......Are you high Josh?
[Josh Mathews] What? No! Of course I'm not!
[The Rock] Are you sure?
[Josh Mathews] I'm positive!
[The Rock] Well then stop asking The Rock stupid questions! The Rock didn't ask for a team! The Rock doesn't need a team and The Rock sure as hell doesn't want a team! You think The Rock is overjoyed to be in the same corner as Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler? One of them is a phony! A big talk, zero walk, low class, candy ass! Wade Barrett! He has achieved a ton of mediocre feats in this company yes but never and The Rock means never! Has he pinned The Great One one, two, three in the center of The Rocks ring and until then he will be nothing but another tea drinking crumpet munching jabroni who drowns his hair with gel and his sorrows with low budget gay porno movies!
[Josh Mathews] but.....
[The Rock] And as for Dolph Ziggler, The Rock was the first person in this company to speak to him when he interrupted The Rocks air time, back then he was just a little Hollywood wannabe searching dearly for his fifteen minutes of fame but here's where it gets interesting, Dolph Ziggler has used up fourteen minutes of his fame so tonight, once The Rock is finished single handily whooping team Redemptions ass he will use up Zigglers last minute of fame by giving him the ass whooping of a lifetime! Ending his career permanently!
[Josh Mathews] Rock don't you think bad mouthing your team mates is a bad idea...
The Rock throws his hand up in Josh's face signaling him to shut the hell up.
[The Rock and The Crowd] IF YAAA SMEELLLLLLLLLLL! WHAT THE ROCK! IS! COOKIN'!
[The Rock] Hey! This isn't sing along with The Rock! Know your roles, shut your mouths and sit your fat asses back on your seats before The Rock comes out there and slaps the taste out of your mouths so hard that everything you eat will be as bland as Justin Gabriel!
The Rock jumps towards Josh who flinches as The Rock laughs, he turns and walks away down the corridor while Josh composes himself and Breakdown goes to commercial
Sorry it's short but I have a party tonight so yeah..... wanted to get something done

As the New Year's special comes back from a commercial break, we head backstage where our Miss Money In The Bank is shown geared up for her match in just a little bit. As she roams through the halls she seems to have a confident glow about her despite her loss to Trish this past Sunday at X-treme X-mas. She stops by a mirror as she reaches the vanity area and begins to fix her hair. Layla then grabs a water bottle off the table, then just as she's about to head back out into the halls Josh Matthews approaches her.
{Josh Matthews} Excuse me, Layla?
She turns around, she seems annoyed but after taking a sip from the bottle, she smiles at him.
{Josh Matthews} I was wondering if you had time for an interview before your match?
{Layla} I'm actually headed towards the Gorilla right now, but if you can keep up then I'll gladly answer any questions you have.
Without a notice she starts walking away and Josh quickly runs after her trying to keep pace with her rapid pace of walking.
{Josh Matthews} Well as you know you faced Trish this past Sunday, and despite your efforts of proving you're "better" you once again failed to defeat Trish Stratus. Has this perhaps changed your views of her? And do you think that you were perhaps a little overconfident heading into that match? I mean you have to admit Trish has now beaten you three times in your career, while you've not got one victory over her.
As Layla was taking a sip of water, she suddenly spits it out instantly enraged. She stops walking, then looks right at him with an intense glare.
{Layla} Excuse me?! Do I need to remind you that all of those "victories" were flukes? Firstly, she faced me in my very first match back in compeition, what does she do? She gets me counted out! She embarrasses me by tripping me up! She ruined my return, she made a mockery out of me...Then when I finally recover from the hell that she caused me over that "loss" what does she do when she has to defend that title she had against me? Lightning struck twice yet again!
{Josh Matthews} And your match this past Sunday?
{Layla} Look, I agreed to your interview, I didn't agree to be hassled about Trish's third FLUKE victory!
{Josh Matthews} From what we saw it wasn't a fluke...
{Layla} Well then I guess you saw wrong then, didn't you?
She starts walking again and Josh quickly follows behind her.
{Josh Matthews} Do you think you'll be able to bounce back from your loss against Trish tonight? You're facing Kelly Kelly, a diva that's been on a high rise on Redemption, do you have a game plan for when you face her in just a minute?
{Layla} Bounce back? Look I know you're just doing your job, trying to get all the "scoop" you can, but just because I had ONE loss this past Sunday. Does not mean it's going to create some kind of trend. I'm going to defeat Kelly, just like I do with every diva that crosses my path! Look at my record the past seven months, it's practically flawless! No matter who comes my way, I always get the last and most important laugh.
{Josh Matthews} And what about Trish? You didn't seem to get the last laugh there.
Layla stops walking as she reaches the curtain.
{Layla} Oh trust me, this is far from finished, and when all is said and done, I'll be the one laughing.
Layla then steps through the curtain as Josh stares at her before it fades out to ringside
