After a special opening video, showing all the Champions that will defend their titles tonight, The Night of Champions Supershow begins.
[JR] Hello everyone and welcome to a very special XWL Supershow! I'm Jim Ross, and I'm joned by Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Redemption's own Michael Cole!
[Jerry Lawler] Tonight every championship will be on the line, and with stakes this high the night after every champion had already defended their titles you know this is going to be an unbelievable night.
[Michael Cole] Last night we saw incredible matches, a few new champions, and one return that left XWL speechless.
[JR] It still brings me chills to even think about it, but last night at the conclusion of the World Heavyweight Championship match where champion Ted DiBiase had successfully retained his title against rival Michael McGillicutty. Michael feinted a handshake giving him the opportunity he needed to attempt at cashing in, but before he could Edge returned valiantly or so it looked laying Michael McGillicutty out in record timing with a tremendous spear....but then...that's where it all took a turn for the worse.
[Jerry Lawler] Edge held Ted up on his shoulders to seemingly help him celebrate such a huge accomplishment, but his intentions soon became clear after he dropped him right on the mat and showed the first of many sadistic looks on his face.
[Michael Cole] Then he sent a message to the champion that spoke loud and clear with a devastating conchairto! Leaving Ted DiBiase dripping blood and lifeless to the world as the fans all looked on with just one question on their minds, why?
[JR] It's a question I still ask myself, why would he do that? What possessed him to go to such levels that he did? The image that closed the show was sickening in every way...Ted holding up his unconscious and blood dripping face for all the world to see what he did.
[Jerry Lawler] It's hard to move past a night like that, especially when tonight is sure to be huge in it's own right, but to just see the World Heavyweight Champion like that was horrifying. He's still scheduled to be here tonight, I saw him arrive in the arena earlier, and he just didn't look good one bit...It'll be challenge for him to retain his title once again here tonight that's for sure.
[Michael Cole] You the fans had all night to vote which superstar you wanted to meet the World Heavyweight Champion tonight for an opportunity at the the gold, and after an overwhelming decision, you the fans have chosen Cody Rhodes! He'll meet Ted DiBiase in our main-event tonight, and call me optimistic, but I see the crowning of a new champion tonight.
[JR] I wouldn't count Ted out just yet, he didn't retain last night by luck by any means, so although his mind may be elsewhere after that vicious assault from Edge, I think we'll see a fantastic main-event later on.
[Jerry Lawler] But that's not the only title on the line tonight, the X-treme Championship will be defended in a special triple threat match with the Celtic Warrior Sheamus and the Mexican Sensation Sin Cara challenging the Personification of domination, the man that just won back the title last night, Ezekiel Jackson.
[Michael Cole] Then Christian will take part in his first of two title defenses tonight when he defends his newly won XWL 15 medal against R-Truth. But in his second defense of tonight, he'll be defending the Intercontinental Championship against one of two men, John Cena the man that defeated Sheamus last night in an Irish Street Fight, or Curt Hawkins, hot off a victory in a triple threat match against Big Show and Ezekiel Jackson on the last episode of Redemption, and although he wasn't selected to face Crimson last night, he'll be competing against John Cena and whichever one walks away victorious will be receiving an Intercontinental Championship match later tonight!
[JR] Then Shawn Michaels managed to keep his incredibly lengthy run as United States Champion in tact last night in a Ladder Match. So tonight he'll be defending his title against the winner of Kane versus Antonio Cesaro. These two have been on quite the roll as of late picking up victories left and right, but only one will get this tremendous opportunity, and that man will meet Shawn Michaels for his United States Championship and get the chance to end the longest United States Championship reign XWL has ever seen.
[Jerry Lawler] But that's not all! Layla managed to retain her Divas title against Eve Torres last night in a Last Chance match, and tonight she'll be defending her-
Just then Jerry Lawler is cut off by a very familiar theme that hits across the arena..
The theme of Chris Jericho hits around the arena to a huge disapproval from the audience for the former World Heavyweight Champion.
Jericho appears at top of the stage in his light up jacket.
A Huge pyro shoots across the stage
Jericho then turns around, to still a loud reaction of disapproval. Jericho just stares out across the crowd with a smirk.
Jericho makes his way down the ramp, ignoring every jeering fan on the way.
Jericho is now in the ring, microphone in hand. Chants of "Jericho Sucks!" surround the arena, but they don't appear to phase Jericho who just smirks and waits for them to stop before beginning to speak.
[Chris Jericho] Last night at Digital Decision, each and every one of you was involved in a conspiracy, A conspiracy against me. You all took part in it.. a few weeks ago on Breakdown Fozzy was by far the superior band, but all of you conspired against me. All of you hate to see me succeed, but trust me. No matter what you people do or try to do.. you will not stop me from once again becoming a success. Last night, that match meant nothing to me. I am done messing around with Alex Shelley and Mr.Fn. Neither of them are on my level, neither of them deserve to be in the same ring as me. Last night, they both got the pleasure of stepping in the ring with the greatest superstar in this history of this business. I have wasted too much time playing games with Alex Shelley, I am done with Shelley and Fn. I will now move onto bigger and better things, whilst they both will stay in their pit of mediocrity.
[Chris Jericho] No longer will I let you people, or the likes of Alex Shelley drag me down to such a low level ever again. From now on, I will only compete at the top of this company. Mick Foley knows that I am by far the best wrestler on this brand, and he will treat me as such. Despite everything me and Mick Foley have been through, Including me making him tap out at Supremacy almost a year ago. Mick can see past all of that, and see that if he wants Breakdown to be a success, then he needs me at the centre of attention. I became one of successful superstars in XWL history... Win after Win, Championship after Championship. But something changed, I let people drag me down to their level, instead of competing at the level which I deserve to be at.
[Chris Jericho] I made this company what it is today, without me this company would still be stuck with some crappy TV deal on a channel nobody even watches any more. But because of me, Because people wanted to me.. XWL became bigger. But do I ever get credit for the success? No, all the credit goes to people who don't deserve it. I made this company what it is, and this company is feeding of my success. You people buy a ticket for this show, hoping you will get to see me. I am the best in the world at everything I do, I always have been and I always will be.
[Chris Jericho] I am also the greatest World Champion in the history of XWL. Just look at the so called Champions since I was robbed of that title. How do you go from Chris Jericho to Ted DiBiase? That just shows how much that championship has fallen. and It needs a real champion like me, to bring it back to where it should be. This company needs a champion to be proud of, a champion that they can send out to all the talk shows, all the radio interviews. Do you think people would tune into Jimmy Fallon to see Ted DiBiase? People want to see a real superstar and a real champion. That's why I should be the face of this company, I should be the one on all the Talk Shows.. because people will watch for me. Just like how these people tune into XWL every week.. they do it to see me.
[Chris Jericho] As a former multi time World Champion it is up to me, to save this company. I saved the WWE, and now I will once again save XWL. I will save it from the cheesy, overrated.. Chris Jericho wannabes that fill this company today. No matter how much they try, they will never match up to my talent or my success. I am one of a kind and I will continue to prove that each and every night. I am the best in the world at everything I do, and that's not a catchphrase.. it is a proven fact. It is a fact that I will continue to prove time and time again, until I am World Heavyweight Champion once again.
Chris Jericho drops the microphone, and the crowd once again jeer the former World Champion.
Jericho just stands in the centre of the ring with a cold stare, as Night of Champions Supershow fades to commercial

*The theme song of the cocky and confident Beautiful People hits as the duo walks onto the stage together for the first time in a long time. Angelina is the first to step out onto the stage as Velvet walks up behind, Angelina stands on the top of the stage as Velvet crawls between her legs.*
*Angelina extends her hands as Velvet takes them and she gets back to their feet, they stand side by side and raise their arms to the biggest reaction of boos.*
*They walk down the ramp together while taunting the fans who are boo'ing them, a fan tries to reach out and grab Angelina but she smacks his hand away. They make their way over to the apron as Velvet sits on the rope, Angelina slowly gets into the ring.*
*When Angelina gets in, she sits on the rope as Velvet gets into the ring slowly.*
*They're both in the ring and they climb the turnbuckles, Angelina raises her arms and Velvet points and shouts at the fans.*
*They get down off the apron and begin to stretch for their tag match.*
*The theme song of Kaitlyn hits as the fans give her a nice reception, she walks out onto the stage looking as pumped up as ever.*
*She walks to one side of the stage and poses for the fans as they cheer her, then she turns to the other side and raises her hand.*
*Kaitlyn walks down the ramp while Angelina and Velvet mock her in the ring, Kaitlyn high fives as many fans as possible and then jogs up the steps.*
[Jerry “The King” Lawler] Well it's time to see the long awaited return of AJ!
[Jim Ross] The former two time champion must be ready to go, she's been out of action for almost three months now!
*She climbs into the ring, she is given the microphone by the announcer.*
[Kaitlyn] Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome my partner.. the returning... AJ!!
*Kaitlyn grins and hands the microphone back to the announcer, she stands in the ring while Velvet and Angelina wait outside. The anticipation grows for a few seconds until..*
*The stage flashes with multi-colours as “AJ” appears on the titantron, the fans let out a big cheer for the returning diva. Kaitlyn has a wide grin on her face as her best friend is back in XWL, she begins to clap. After 20ish seconds the fans are still cheering but there is no sign of AJ yet, fashionably late maybe? Another 20ish seconds pass and AJ's theme stops, the fans are awkwardly silent. They don't really know how to react, Kaitlyn tries to talk to the referee who then talks to the announcer.*
*AJ's theme plays again as Kaitlyn looks towards the ramp, there must have been a miscue! Kaitlyn starts to clap again and hype the crowd up for AJ's in ring return to XWL, the first time she has been seen since her attack at the hands of Beth Phoenix. But as time passes on there is no sign of the former two time divas champion, Kaitlyn looks concerned and talks to the referee again. Kaitlyn tries to leave to check backstage for Kaitlyn but the referee tells her she can't go back.*
*All the referee can do is shrug his shoulders.*
[Justin Roberts] Ladies and Gentlemen, due to Kaitlyn's inability to find a tag team partner for this match. It will now be contested under Handicap rules!
*Kaitlyn brushes her hands through her hair with a look of confusion and almost frustration. Velvet and Angelina are shown laughing outside as they stand arm in arm, they high five each other and get into the ring. A frustrated Kaitlyn backs into the corner, Velvet gets on the apron. Kaitlyn and Angelina start off.*
Ding Ding Ding!
As the bell rings, Kaitlyn innocently turns to the titantron with her arms open in confusion, she doesn't really know what to do but the crafty Angelina seizes the opportunity. She darts across the ring and knee's Kaitlyn in the back causing her to drop to the mat. Angelina begins to kick, punch, scrap, scratch and claw at Kaitlyn on the ground. She stands on Kaitlyn's hair and pulls her up by her arms until the referee gets to four on his count of the illegal move. Kaitlyn pulls herself to her feet by the ropes only to be kicked in the gut in the corner. She then begins to choke Kaitlyn using her foot, the referee uses a count to break up the move and then Angelina says in a smug tone “I know how to count, loser!” Kaitlyn falls to the ground holding her throat, Angelina grabs her by her arm and drags her over to the hostile corner. Angelina tags in Velvet, she picks up Kaitlyn and they proceed to hit a double DDT on her. Instead of going for the pin Velvet just throws Kaitlyn to the ropes and begins to choke her with them, Velvet stops the move and begins to distract the referee. Angelina runs across the apron and big boots Kaitlyn right in the head which gets a large negative response from the crowd. Angelina just claps her hands together at a job well done. Velvet pulls Kaitlyn to her feet, Kaitlyn then begins to retaliate as she punches Velvet in the gut twice then chops her in the chest. She runs off the ropes and takes her down with a big forearm, Velvet gets right back up only to be back body dropped by Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn looks worn out and in need of a rest, she looks at her corner but there is no sign of her partner.
She picks up Velvet and goes for a suplex, but Velvet rakes her eyes mid move. She throws Kaitlyn shoulder first into the turnbuckle and when she turns around Kaitlyn surprisingly takes down Velvet with a clothesline using her bad arm showing a great deal of effort. Both women are down, Velvet holds the back of her head from the fall and crawls towards Angelina for a tag. Kaitlyn crawls to her corner and still looks disappointed and lost when she gets there to no partner. She just sits in the corner and holds her arm as Velvet connects with a tag. Angelina walks towards an injured Kaitlyn and tries to pull at her hurt arm, but Kaitlyn kicks Angelina in the leg. Kaitlyn climbs to the second rope looking for a high risk move to possibly steal the win, anything to take out one of her opponents. But as she's standing on it, her leg is sweeped by Angelina as she falls to the mat with a hard thud. She sits up right away trying to catch her breath from the flat landing on her back but Angelina just hits a front dropkick to her face. The fans begin to rally behind the underdog Kaitlyn as she's fighting an uphill battle, she keeps trying to get up but Angelina repeatedly kicks her back down to the ground. Angelina turns to the crowd and begins to respond to their cheers for Kaitlyn but Kaitlyn uses this opportunity to roll her up! She does an O'Connor roll out of nowhere as the referee counts.
1!
2!!
3- NO! Velvet runs into the ring just in time and axe handle's Kaitlyn to break up the pin. Velvet gets back on the apron and shouts “I want a piece of her!” Angelina slaps Velvet and throws her to the corner, both divas are visibly angered now and the games are over. Angelina tags in Velvet, they bring Kaitlyn to the center of the ring. Velvet holds Kaitlyn's arms and Angelina moves back, she runs to Kaitlyn for a Botox Injection but Kaitlyn ducks! Angelina accidentally hits her tag partner with her finisher, Velvet falls to the ground. The referee forces Angelina to get on the apron, Kaitlyn crawls over and covers Velvet but Angelina pulls Kaitlyn to the outside. Kaitlyn reacts quickly with a kick to the gut of Angelina and slams her back first into the apron. The distraction proved worthy as Kaitlyn gets inbetween the ropes only to have Velvet hit a snap spinning neckbreaker on Kaitlyn as she's entering the ring! Velvet picks up Kaitlyn and holds her in position for a Russian Legsweep, she shouts for Angelina to get in who then hits a Botox Injection on Kaitlyn followed by the Russian Legsweep as they hit the Makeover. Velvet covers Kaitlyn.
1!
2!!
3!!!
*The fans begin to boo as Velvet and Angelina are the victors, they raise each others hands and taunt Kaitlyn as she's still down from the hard hitting finish to the match. They both get out of the ring and leave arm in arm, Kaitlyn is shown sitting in the ring holding her head in confusion of where her partner was.*
[Jim Ross] Where the heck was AJ? She left Kaitlyn high and dry in that ring!
[Jerry “The King” Lawler] I don't know what happened to her, but I wanna find out! It was a great effort shown by Kaitlyn though..
[Jim Ross] That great effort could have been doubled and turn into a “W” for the popular diva if her tag partner showed for the match.. I wonder what she's thinking.
*Kaitlyn rolls out of the ring holding her nose still, she keeps her head down and walks back as we head off to a video package for the dealer of domination, Zeke Jackson!*
*We come back from the video package to see Kaitlyn walking through the Gorilla position, she just walks through the hall while holding her nose.*
*But as she walks down the camera turns to the left, it zooms in to a set of boxes as a woman appears... Could it be?!*
*A huge collective gasp is heard from the crowd as AJ is shown walking a bit forward staring at Kaitlyn from behind, almost as if she was waiting for her to walk by.*
*The camera pans back to Kaitlyn who is just walking down the hall without knowing her tag partner and best friend who left her to the wolves is standing down the hallway looking at her. Kaitlyn walks out of sight as the camera goes back to AJ, she continues to look on with an expressionless look and then walks away. We cut off to a video package for The Divas Champion, Layla.*

As the last segment comes to a close the camera goes to the fans as they go from cheering to boo’s as a familiar voice is heard
Vickie Guerrero EXCUSE ME!
The crowd begin to boo as Vickie makes her way out onto the stage
Vickie Guerrero EXCUSE ME!
The boo’s continue as Vickie seems to get impatient
Vickie Guerrero I SAID EXCUSE ME! Now you all know that tonight XWL has made history with this supershow bringing together both of the brands and pitting each champion in a test to see if they can truly prove to you that they deserve to hold them titles. Now tonight we will see some huge matches and I cannot wait to see what this show has in store for all of us. But that is not the only statement I would like to make tonight. You see I have another huge announcement for you all right now and this is one which I am sure you are all going to love, especially the guys out there. Now I have been looking and looking for someone to help me with day to day jobs backstage and over recent weeks I have been keeping close tabs on one person. This is a woman who for weeks has been making great decisions when she didn’t need too and a woman who is not afraid to do whatever it takes to get what she wants.
Vickie Guerrero After last night unfortunately this diva sustained an injury to her leg which means she will be unable to be in the ring for numerous months to come but I feel that after what she has been doing for this company that we should give back to her. This woman did Teddy Long’s job for him for a whole month and now after hours back and forth on the phone I have been able to offer this diva a new position in XWL. Ladies and Gentlemen please put your hands together for my new Executive Administratior….Eve Torres!
The crowd begin to boo as Eve Torres’ theme hits the P.A. She makes her way out onto the stage as Vickie claps Eve as she makes her entrance. Eve goes over to Vickie and kisses her on both cheeks before thanking her for this opportunity. Vickie hands the mic to Eve before heading to the back leaving Eve standing alone on the stage
Eve Torres Thank you Vickie for that wonderful introduction. I would just like to say how much of an honour it is going to be working for you and hopefully I can learn how to be as successful as you one day. Now moving on for all of you who just boo’ed me, I can understand why, I mean I took a man who everyone knows and loves and I made him nothing more than any one of you. You see any of you men would be lucky to have a girl with my beauty even go anywhere near you. I used to hate having to have photo’s with you fans, being all sweaty and with all that facial hair. Eww, gross. Personally I think you all could do with a little bit more hygiene in your lives. I am the prettiest diva in this company and I deserve to be on top. Last week at Digital Decision I may not have won the title from Layla but I won the main prize and that is power.
Eve Torres All I ever wanted was power, why do you think I was with Teddy every week. I helped him make matches and more importantly I saved his job. I don’t see why all you people seem to hate me all of a sudden because if it wasn’t for my heroic actions Teddy would have been tossed in the trash by now. I am the one who kept him in this business. Teddy shouldn’t have cried last week he should have been thankful for what I did. You see I didn’t intend for any of this to happen the way it did. All I wanted was to be the divas champion. I gave everything to this company and not once did I get shown some decent respect. There were always people above me and people who didn’t deserve to be in the limelight. I was the one who each and every week busted my ass off for you people. You cheered me on and all I wanted was a title shot.
Eve Torres You all know the story about how I was cheated and that was the final straw for me. I was not going to let someone take away what I felt I had earned from my fingertips. I had to take things into my own hands. Clearly someone in the back wasn’t making good decisions so that is when I came up with the ingenious idea of getting on the inside with the only way I know how. My beauty of course. Teddy, like many men was overcome and within just a few minutes I could tell he was already eating out of the palm of my hand. Poor Teddy was so gullible; did he really think a girl like me would be seen with someone like him? I could have any guy I wanted and I would have chosen an old man? No, I don’t think so. I mean Teddy Long did anything I wanted, I had him give Layla hell for a month and I got two title matches. I used Teddy for power.
Eve Torres But that didn’t work did it. I had enough at last night I showed just how much of a bitch I can be. I left an old man to cry out on this stage in front of all of you people. I was fed up of trying to get power the hard way when I could just do this and become your executive Administrator and take XWL into a new generation. I am going to make XWL for the better because Vickie has given me the power which is what I wanted all along. This is what I thrive on. Right now I am going to show you all just a small taste of the power I truly have. Teddy Long can you come out here for a moment please? I know you’re back there Teddy. C’mon, I’m not going to hit you.
Teddy Long walks onto the stage as Eve claps him. He stands on the stand and tries to ask Eve why and pleads with Eve but she dosen’t seem to care
Eve Torres Now Teddy you have been Vickie’s assistant for a while haven’t you?
Eve hold’s the mic to Teddy before quickly snatching it away
Eve Torres Actually don’t answer that. We all know you haven’t and you’ve just been wanting to do it all yourself. Fortunately for you myself and Vickie managed to work something out. You see I am the one who directly reports to Vickie now. Teddy now you report to me. That is the power in which I have and I can fire you in an instant so you best stay on my nice side.
Teddy reluctantly nods his head and slowly begins to walk away as the crowd begin to boo before Eve stops him.
Eve Torres Teddy just one moment, I’m not finished. I have one last thing. I want you to start wearing a big name badge. Just so everyone can get to know you and know your new role in XWL. Now that’s all. You can go.
Teddy walks into the back as Eve faces the fans once more
Eve Torres Now you have all heard my story and you can judge me but just know this. I don’t care what any of you think because myself and Vickie will be leading this company into the next generation and making it the best it can possibly be…
Eve drops the mic as her theme hits before she heads to the back, XWL heads to a video package highlighting King of the ring and previous winners in XWL history.

*As Night of Champions returns, we are greeted by the dastardly duo themselves, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks.*
((Tyler Reks)) Look dude, I realize it wasn't your night at Digital Decision. But I have a surprise for you!
((Curt Hawkins)) Let me guess, a party?
((Tyler Reks)) Nope.
((Curt Hawkins)) Uhh...Balloons?
((Tyler Reks)) Can't say I did.
((Curt Hawkins)) ...Okay...last guess...a hooker in a cake!?
((Tyler Reks)) Nah, sorry dude, Maryse was busy tonight.
((Curt Hawkins)) Damn! Okay, you got me. What is it?
((Tyler Reks)) Tonight, you're going one-on-one with John Cena.
((Curt Hawkins)) Son of a bitch!
((Tyler Reks)) --No no no, it's a good thing!
((Curt Hawkins)) How the hell is facing Mr. Rainbow Brite a good thing? Please, please explain this to me.
((Tyler Reks)) Because when you win tonight, later on in the show, you get to face Christian for the Intercontinental Championship.
((Curt Hawkins)) You're kidding, right? Why the hell would they allow Cena anywhere near a title?
((Tyler Reks)) Well, he's facing you tonight so they obviously don't want him to face Christian. I mean, you're the be...
((Curt Hawkins)) Reks, shut up. You know what this means? It's another roadblock that XWL management is trying to throw in front of me, Reks. Two weeks ago, they put me in a match with two behememoths and one of them nearly broke my damn neck. Then at the Pay-Per-View they obviously rigged the votes for that goof Big Show to win. What's next, I'll be forced to dress in a stupid clown suit? Wait no, hey, turn that camera off, you're giving those morons even stupider ideas than the Shockmaster! Out, NOW!

The camera cuts to another area backstage where Jeremy Borash is seen standing by.
Jeremy Borash Folks, Jeremy Borash here and I’m standing by waiting for the man that I’ll be interviewing tonight. And from my past experiences with this fellow I can assure that this will be unlike anything you have ever seen or heard. My guest has been called ‘The Technical Messiah’, ‘The Next’ And even ‘Total Nonstop Alex!. He hails from Detroit and despite coming off a loss this past Sunday at Digital Decision, he’s as upbeat as ever! Ladies and Gentleman it is my honor
*There’s the sound of a man whispering off screen*
Jeremy Borash to bring to you a man…
*more whispers*
Jeremy Borash No, I’m sorry the gentleman
*more whispers*
Jeremy Borash who has made Detroit the place to be and himself the man to see. So without further ado
*The stomp-stomp-clap rhythm is heard off screen*
Jeremy Borash allow me to introduce to you: Alex
Alex Shelley Shellllllllley!
*Shelley runs onto the screen with his arms in the air while mimicking the effect of a cheering audience. Shelley looks at Borash and smirks and then at the camera.*
Alex Shelley And the crowd. goes. wild.
Jeremy Borash It’s good to see you too Shelley, even better to see you in such high spirits despite losing in that triple threat match at Digital Decision.
Alex Shelley Ah, well, you know… stuff happens. You win some you lose some, and sometimes you even tie some, but in the end we all get better thanks to the richness of the experience. Is that how the old saying goes?
Jeremy Borash I don’t think I’ve heard anything even remotely close to that before.
Alex Shelley I don’t blame you, you haven’t seen the world like I have, and when you get up there in age like me you start to pick up a few pearls of wisdom every now and then.
Jeremy Borash Shelley, I’m pretty sure I’m older than you.
Alex Shelley And I’m pretty sure that you have never experienced the things that I have.
Jeremy Borash I suppose that’s true.
Alex Shelley You know what else is true?
Jeremy Borash What?
Alex Shelley I’ll tell you what right now. What’s true is that I was on the brink of giving Chris Jericho a Sliced Bread after our match to put him out of his misery.
Jeremy Borash Misery? What’s wrong with him?
Alex Shelley Jericho’s problem is that he thinks that he’s still as good as he ever was when all he’s done is slow down and get boring. I mean did you hear him earlier?
Jeremy Borash Yeah we all heard that he had some pretty interesting things to say.
Alex Shelley No, not what he said because let’s be honest here for a second, we all tuned him out, but it’s the way that he said it. Jericho has gotten so old now that he doesn’t even have the energy to speak with some life. And it’s a crying shame because this guy used to actually be good.
Jeremy Borash Some would say that he’s still pretty good now.
Alex Shelley And those are the same people that would say that the world is flat and the sky is green. People who would say anything just to get a reaction and anyone who thinks Chris Jericho still has it are hippies who get their news from newspapers and still play the PS2 because they can’t let go of the past. Jericho is the past, Shelley is the future and if people still think he’s good then they must think that I’m pretty damn awesome.
Jeremy Borash But you both lost that match, wouldn’t that put you on even ground?
Alex Shelley Hey, I wasn’t the one that got pinned.
Jeremy Borash But you could have been seconds away from tapping out.
Alex Shelley Oh come on Mr. Interviewer Man, you gotta give me more credit than that, I’ve been in tighter spots than the Walls of Jericho, I’ve put people in tougher submissions than the Walls of Jericho, and it would have only been a matter of time before I got out of it and put him in a nasty little move of my own.
Jeremy Borash But Mr. Parks never gave you the chance…
Alex Shelley Mr. Parks never gave me the chance, yeah you’re right. One minute I’m thinking of a way to get of that hold and the next I’m holding Jericho in my arms ready to hit him with the Sliced Bread.
Jeremy Borash But you didn’t hit him with it.
Alex Shelley I didn’t hit him with it, I love it when we’re on the same page.
Jeremy Borash Well why didn’t you do it, Alex? You had him right where you wanted him and nobody would have blamed you or hated you for doing it.
Alex Shelley I went to war for months with Kurt Angle and there were times when I forgot what we were fighting about and I wasn’t going to let the same happen with Jericho. That match was the end, he moves on I move on but we’ll be moving in different directions because I’m going places he’ll only get to read about that he’ll only hear stories about because he won’t be good enough to move where I move because I move in a way that can’t be duplicated, mimicked or even mocked because there’s no one out there that can do Shelley better than Shelley but there’s plenty that can do Jericho better than Jericho… You following me right now?
Jeremy Borash You certainly don’t make it easy to.
Alex Shelley What I’m saying is that I have my mind set and I’ve set my next goal set and life isn’t no video game I know the difficulty can’t be put on easy, but I’m ready to fight the good fight and I’m ready for my next challenge.
Jeremy Borash Well if your plans don’t involve Chris Jericho and Mr. Parks…
Alex Shelley You’re damn skippy my plans don’t involve Mr. Parks, did you see what he and Raven did at the pay per view?
Jeremy Borash I had nightmares about it… I don’t think I’ll ever forget.
Alex Shelley Well I’m not looking to get injured or thrown off anything, there’s a time for that and when that time comes I’ll welcome it with open arms, but right now there’s other things I want to accomplish because I’ve been getting sidetracked for far too long.
Jeremy Borash So what do you plan on doing then?
Alex Shelley Well it’s not really about what I want to do, it’s about what XWL wants me to do. All right, look at it this way, how good are you with trivia?
Jeremy Borash Well I don’t mean to toot my own horn or anything but I’ve been known to know more than you’d think I do. But I don’t see how that’s relevant to your career plans.
Alex Shelley Oh it’s relevant all right. Do you remember when I wrestled against AJ Styles?
Jeremy Borash Well yeah of course I do, it was one of the standout matches of the night.
Alex Shelley And would you mind refreshing the memories of these lovely people by telling them who won?
Jeremy Borash It was you Shelley, you won that match.
Alex Shelley Yes I did, but here comes the curve ball: Who went on to compete for the Intercontinental Championship?
Jeremy Borash That would be AJ Styles.
Alex Shelley Now we’re getting somewhere! I’ll go a little easy on you with this next one, call it an underhanded pitch if you wish. When Alex Shelley went one on one with Antonio Cesaro who won the match?
Jeremy Borash You beat him with the Shellshock, Alex.
Alex Shelley And I know you’re a man who likes to keep up to date with the happening of XWL: so please tell me who is the one wrestling for a chance to compete for the United States Championship tonight?
Jeremy Borash I believe that’s Antonio Cesaro going up against Kane.
Alex Shelley All right now it’s time for my favorite one of all. You saw the saga, you saw the matches, the dye, the mask, the hair and I believe a gun was involved at some point though I'm still sure that was a bad dream.... but anyway when Kurt Angle and I finally went to settle the score at Final Stand, the biggest pay per view of the year might I add, which one of us had our arm raised as the victor?
Jeremy Borash That man was you, Alex.
Alex Shelley Now I’m sure you saw Digital Decision, so who was the man that announced he would be competing in King of the Ring?
Jeremy Borash Kurt Angle was one of the men that announced he’d be in the tournament.
Alex Shelley Exactly, so riddle me this Mr. Interviewer Man, why are the people I beat getting the opportunities and I’m not?
Jeremy Borash I honestly don’t have an answer for that, Alex.
Alex Shelley Well neither do I and you better believe I spent a lot of time thinking about it. I thought about it in the locker room, I thought about it while driving on the street- apologies to the lady I almost ran over- I thought about it in the shower, -where I get some of my most brilliant ideas mind you- but…
Jeremy Borash But?
Alex Shelley Nothing.
Jeremy Borash Nothing?
Alex Shelley Absolutely nothing. Now I’d hate to be another guy preaching about conspiracies, so I won’t. I’ll just chalk up these oversights to XWL not realizing the type of talent they have sitting on their roster. I know I’m ready and I know I can handle it. You know what?
Jeremy Borash What?
Alex Shelley Maybe they think I’m not serious enough, maybe they don’t think I want it enough, but I do. And I’ll show it tonight when I take Triple H to his limit. I may win, I may lose but I’m not letting any man walk all over me, especially one that doesn't keep his boots clean.
Jeremy Borash You think you have a shot at beating Triple H?
Alex Shelley You know something? I think I do.
Shelley nods at Borash and walks off the screen as XWL heads to a quick commercial break.

*XWL Breakdown: Night of Champions returns from commercial break to have a seat with our very own, XWL Commentators. Poor Joey Styles, between a Pay Per View and now this Supershow he hasn't seen work for a good two weeks.*
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] What a show we've had so far, we've heard from various superstars about some different superstars so far, what's stood out to you two so far?
[Jim Ross] Well Alex Shelley had some interesting things to say, and the announcement of Eve Torres being Executive Administrator was interesting as well, what have you liked so far Cole?
[Michael Cole] Well, there's... Well... This show has sucked so far! Apart fr-
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] I don't mean to cut you off Cole, but I'm receiving word that John Cena is about ready to come out here. He must have something to say!
[Jim Ross] I wonder what it is, if you checked the card you would have noticed-
[Michael Cole] Don't you cut me off again. Who even cares about Cena I mean-
*The sound of John Cena's theme song rings throughout the arena. The always loud and mixed reaction that follows Cena seems to be present here. But Cena as always isn't seeming to let it effect him because he's coming out from the back with the smile he always has on his face, as if all the boos in the world couldn't take it off.*
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] And here he is! John Cena, the man who later tonight will take on Curt Hawkins in a Number 1 Contender match for the Intercontinental Championship, oh boy, I can't wait!
[Jim Ross] I hope Cena's able to wipe that arrogance right off Curt Hawkins, and Christian too for that matter. Those two think they're so great... It just gets under my skin!
[Michael Cole] A lot of things get "under your skin", that's why you're all wrinkly and old. Curt Hawkins and Christian are great and they know it, honestly, if you were as great as them you would talk about it all the time too. The only reason John Cena barely talks about how great he is is simple, because he isn't!
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] While that may be your opinion Cole, I have to disagree. John Cena has done many things here, although he hasn't won multiple world titles here like some other people have, he's held it once here and many times in the WWE. That speaks by itself.
[Jim Ross] Yes, it does.
[Michael Cole] You guys just don't appreciate true talent, and I don't expect any better coming from two commentators who are talentless themselves. Ha!
[Michael Cole] See... This is why I don't like this guy. He did things to Sheamus no man should have done to them, and now he's... Happy?
*John Cena can be seen just before his dash down the ring. He sends forward the soldier salute before beginning his dash to the ring all the way from the top of the ramp.*
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] It shouldn't be done to anyone.. But it's Sheamus's own fault, he brought it upon himself if you ask me.
*John Cena slides into the ring and runs the ropes, he throws up the 'Hustle, Loyalty, Respect', and then paces around the ring, stirring up the fans with a loud mixed reaction before requesting a microphone and beginning to speak.*
[John Cena] Well, well, well, I'd say Digital Decision was a success! *A loud pop* Here we are now 24 hours later and even though I was left in not so good of a shape after my Irish Street Fight with Sheamus, I couldn't feel better now because I know I gave Sheamus what he deserved. I wasted a whole month of my return to Redemption on his mind games, his personal attack on me, his mission to annihilate John Cena, but now that it's all said and done, I left him right where I said I would, on his back for a three count. But the thing I'm the happiest about is the fact that within a match that was what? 30 minutes about, I was able to do to him everything he did to me in the span of a month. Let's just take a look at my personal favorite moment of the night though...
*The tron lights up and it shows John Cena washing Sheamus's face in the bucket containing all sorts of foul things the janitor has mopped up over the years. He's probably never washed that bucket and here's Sheamus's face being swished through it and held in it.*
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] I couldn't help but smile when John Cena did that... Some may think he crossed the line, but I think it was just hilarious!
[Jim Ross] That it was, Sheamus getting his head dunked in that! Aha, it was picture perfect in my book.
[Michael Cole] It was picture unperfect in mine, that was wrong. He could have drowned Sheamus, what would have happened then? We wouldn't all be cheering Cena now, he'd be in jail for manslaughter, XWL may be closed from lawsuits and then none of us would have jobs! Does it really sound so enticing to encourage that type of behavior now? DOES IT?
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] It kinda does..
[John Cena] If that wasn't the best moment of the night then I don't know what was! I mean, what was even in that? I'll be honest when I found that janitor's cart during the match the only thoughts in my mind were of beating Sheamus the best I could. When I saw the janitor left his... Whatever that was in there I had to use it! And Sheamus deserved every bit of sludge that was in there rubbing up against his face too. So while last night was a great night for me, I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting anything that much to come out of it because I was only taking care of business with Sheamus, but it seems to me that someone up in the offices enjoyed that performance because I've been booked in the #1 Contender match for the Intercontinental title here at Night of Champions!
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] And that is true, John Cena will indeed be competing for the Intercontinental title's number 1 contendership later tonight.
[Jim Ross] And that match is a guarantee'd slobberknocker.
[Michael Cole] I thought you were done saying that word?
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Apparently he isn't.
[Jim Ross] Apparently I'm not.
[Michael Cole] Well for your sake you better finish saying it soon..
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Slobberknocker.
[Jim Ross] ...
[Michael Cole] That didn't mean King should start saying it, sometimes I feel I'd be able to carry a commentary team of monkies easier than I carry this team...
[John Cena] When I saw the card, I almost thought it was a mistake, I mean, I only just got onto Redemption! But I checked around backstage and apparently, sure enough, your resident Leader of the CeNation is ready to give it a go again, this time for the Intercontinental title. I've had some opportunities in the past, Money in the Bank, The triple threat with Rock and Punk, multiple United States Championship matches, and I just haven't gotten it done. It didn't matter what I did, the 5 Knuckle Shuffle, Attitude Adjustment, heck I could have done anything but it just wouldn't be enough to keep my opponents down. But this time.. I feel like I've got the right feel for everything. I'm a little beat up from last night, but eh, sometimes it's good to be warmed up a little like I feel I am now.
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Cena may be a little more than warmed up... That wasn't an easy match by any standards.. They both endured weapon shots like crazy and neither men were able to leave the battlefield without some help.
[Jim Ross] That's true, I'm almost concerned now that Curt Hawkins is fresh with having had no match at Digital Decision while John Cena has just undergone hell.
[Michael Cole] All the more reason to cry when he loses? WAAAAAH, if you really feel that way, then maybe you should get a doctor to have John Cena ruled ineligible to compete tonight!
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Nice try Cole..
[Jim Ross] We're not going to try and take away this opportunity from Cena..
[Michael Cole] Suit yourselves, but don't say I didn't warn you guys.
[John Cena] My opponent is Curt Hawkins, don't get me wrong, Curt could put up a fight. But I don't know if there's anyone else noticing this, but it's almost like there's two different Curt Hawkins. One Curt Hawkins is the wrestler Curt Hawkins, that Curt Hawkins, well, I'll be honest, he's one tough guy to throw down with. He's got a big arsenal of moves, and he can sure catch you off guard. That's the Curt Hawkins who almost beat Shawn Michaels and that's the Curt Hawkins who I believe could give me a fight. But there's this other Curt Hawkins as of late.. The "Party Starter", egotistical, type of Curt Hawkins. That Curt Hawkins cares about no one and nothing other than himself. He'd rather spend all of his time thinking of nicknames than preparing for the match. And if that's the Curt Hawkins who shows up tonight, you can sure bet that he has no chance of beating me because I am determined now more than ever to make sure I get that big win I've been looking for.
[Michael Cole] Big win? Please, John Cena couldn't get a win, nevermind a big one!
[Jim Ross] But John Cena has won all of his last four matches...
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] And it hasn't been against just anyone, he faced Randy Orton and Christian in there! As well as Sheamus!
[Michael Cole] Randy Orton must have just had a bad match, Christian let him have the win because he played it safe to face Davey Richards where he then WON and retained a title that Cena has never touched. And Sheamus, don't even get me started on that match!
[Jim Ross] You always have an excuse don't you Cole..
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] That he does.
[John Cena] And we're here in Los Angeles, California... The home of the stars. I bet when Curt Hawkins comes out later he's going to think he's as big as some of you in the crowd! But really, I'm only taking this one match at a time, but Christian, you should hope that Curt Hawkins does beat me because I'm ready to give it a go at the title. When I first came back to Redemption I told you that you may be the champion but that only makes you a target for challengers, well here I am, I'm ready to challenge you. And when I say a challenge, I'm going to push you to compete, you're going to sweat, it will be a hard contest because I want that championship, I want to bring it home to the CeNation.
[Michael Cole] The only place he'll bring a title is... Wait, he won't bring a title anywhere because he won't win it!
[Jim Ross] Does Cole ever stop?
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] I'd like to think he does.
[John Cena] So far, apart from that lunatic Sheamus attacking me every damn week, I mean, you'd think attacking someone was going to be outlawed soon or something, that guy just wouldn't stop... Every week... Anyways, apart from him, I've had a pretty successful return to Redemption thus far. I've beaten some decent foes, and now I find myself in a match where I can make my mark on Redemption. When I see that title around Christian's waist, I mean... It almost makes me cringe. That is a major championship around here and Christian is just so... such a... well there's kids in attendance so I can't say what I'd like to right now. Christian doesn't even know the meaning of Hustle, Loyalty, or Respect! He gives up, he just gave up a couple weeks ago during our non title match! He disrespects the fan and all around, Christian just needs a major attitude adjustment.
[Michael Cole] Strong words from the... Who am I kidding! Cena can't back that up, and he knows it!
[Jim Ross] Boy will I be glad when Cena proves everything you're saying wrong.
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Me too. Then we'll hear your next big excuse on how Christian was screwed. I wonder when Cole will stop complaining..
[John Cena] And that just brought me to another point, do you guys seriously want a Champion who backs down from a fight? I know I wouldn't... A few weeks back I don't know how many of you remember, but me and Christian were going back and forth when he suddenly just decided to call it quits in the middle of the match and he left the ring and took his title with him. He can say that it was to save his energy to fight Davey Richards all he wants, I'll call his bluff right now. I'm saying he's scared. Heck right now I don't care if it's me or Curt Hawkins who wins tonight as long as someone does us all a favor and shuts "Captain Charisma"'s mouth.
[John Cena] Now I don't know about all of you, but I'm pretty excited for my matches later tonight. I have the chance to win the title I've had my eye on for awhile now, and it's here in California! What could be better, I've free'd myself from Sheamus, and now I'm doing just what I said I would after I got away from Sheamus. So the time for me to do what I need to do is now, I'll see you all later.
*With that John Cena gives a Cena-like smile and departs from the ring, meaning business, and being ready for his matches later with both Curt Hawkins, and then hopefully enough for him with Christian. As we're seeing him walk to the back to his theme song playing, we're also fading into the commentators table.*
[Michael Cole] About time he left.
[Jim Ross] I think it's about time you leave..
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] I agree, I can't wait until next week on Breakdown, I think two weeks with you might just be too much!
[Michael Cole] See what I put up with? Two commentators on one! This is unfair!
[Jim Ross] You make it sound like a match, Cole.
[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Well, we have to get to commercial break so we'll be right back folks.
*We head to a short commercial break featuring a skittles commercial and a commercial hyping the idea of Night of Champions: Champions will defend, but who will they be defending against? That has to be decided on the same night they have to defend! Now more than ever anything can really happen!*

Intercontinental Championship #1 Contenders Match
Curt Hawkins vs. John Cena Both men would love a shot at the gold, but only one can get it. Which man will win the chance to challenge Christian for the title?

As Night of Champions continues we cut away inside the locker room of the World Heavyweight Champion, Ted DiBiase. He's joined by his girlfriend Maryse and he appears to be in the middle of a battle to get her attention away from her phone.
{Ted DiBiase} You know as much fun as it's been talking to myself for the last five minutes I would love if my girlfriend could pull herself away from her phone long enough to...I don't know...acknowledge my existence?
{Maryse} Why? So you can tell me all about that cheap belt you wear around your waist? It's not even real gold, Ted. I don't see why you're so obsessed with it.
Maryse turned back to her phone, smirking at something on it's screen. She began gliding her finger across the screen and typing here and there. While Ted just stands looking at her with an unbelievable feeling of disbelief that she would downplay the World Heavyweight Championship like that.
{Ted DiBiase} You're unbelievable! Is that all that matters to you? Whether something is real gold or not? It's not the belt it's what it stands for, this is what men will fight their whole careers to achieve! I'd think you'd be just a little more understanding, but I guess if it doesn't have an outrageous price tag attached to it it's just worthless, isn't it?
Mayrse's eyes left her phone as her face half-turned in Ted's direction
{Maryse} Ted, don't be ridiculous. It's not like I leave the tags on them.
Maryse laughed, seeing it as something so generic, she was almost surprised he didn't know that.
{Maryse} Besides, it's not like you carry it everywhere you go. Like out on your disgusting boat, or out at your cheap country restaurants. Plus what makes you think you'll have that much longer anyway? Michael McGillicutty could cash in tonight if he wanted to, and the plastic piece of junk would be passed on to the next chump.
{Ted DiBiase} Piece of junk? No, I tell you what's a piece of junk, that stupid phone of yours! As for Michael, I'm not worried about him one bit. Last night, while you were too busy charging my room service tab up the wazoo I was pinning him for a one, two, three. And not that you seem to care or anything, but I'll be defending my title again tonight against Cody Rhodes, but don't bother accompanying me to the ring or anything, wouldn't want you to miss a text after all.
{Maryse} Not like I need to be out there to know that you'll choke anyway.
Maryse somewhat mumbled as she turned back to her phone, toying with it again.
{Ted DiBiase} And what exactly is that supposed to mean?
{Maryse} It means, half of your title defenses ended in a disqualification. If it weren't for those loopholes you would have lost that thing a long time ago.
{Ted DiBiase} Gee, how lovely of my girlfriend to show such confidence in her man. I don't care what you think, I would've beaten Michael McGillicutty at Unforgiven had it not been for that referee. The footage doesn't lie, I didn't once try to get myself disqualified, hell you were out there, you saw what happened, so don't you dare stand there acting as if I'm not good enough to hold onto this title. Because last night I proved to you and everyone that has doubted me that I can. Tonight I may not be in the best shape after that attack from Edge, which by the way, thanks for your concern, but I will go out to that ring and do everything I can to continue living my dream. While you may be okay with being on the sidelines, that's not why I got into this business. I just like every other superstar in this company want nothing more than to obtain this title. It's held by the best of the best, and I've managed to get my name included into that very exclusive list. But that's fine, you don't have to care, because I've got fans all over the world that give me all the support I need.
Maryse held her index finger up, as she began to look up at the ceiling, making a cheering crowd sort of noise
{Maryse} Rah-rah, go Ted! Because it's not like there are any other champions right now, it's not like there were any champions before him, and it's not like there will be plenty after him, right?.. Oh and by the way, I wasn't stuck on the sidelines, until I met you. So great job there Ted, be a team player, love the fans, see if I care. You're not going to have that thing forever, so you might as well get used to life without it now. I mean, come on let's face it, Michael's capable of some pretty intense things.
She once again, continued texting, as if Ted wasn't even there at all.
{Ted DiBiase} Hey you're the one that came crawling back to me, it's not like I was gonna come knocking on your door anytime soon...It's called enjoying the moment, but then again I can't think of anything you enjoy other than frivolous spending and acting like a total....
She tilts her head sending a "you better not finish that sentence" kind of glare.
{Ted DiBiase} Forget it, and what's with you talking about Michael so much? He's no longer a problem for us, which by the way, you're welcome.
{Maryse} I'm welcome? Ted, do you have any idea how many times I foolishly stood up for you against him? How many times I "defended you honor?" No, you don't, do you? And as long as Michael McGillicutty is Mr. Money in the Bank, he is your problem. But then again, I wouldn't expect a rookie champion like you to be any smarter than that.
{Ted DiBiase} Oh so now it's foolish to stand up for your boyfriend? Gee, you're really going for that girlfriend of the year award aren't you?
{Maryse} That award would be about as pointless as your title reign.
Just then a vibrating sound can be heard coming from Maryse's phone, she looks down checking the message and begins smiling, which just annoys an already pressed ticked off Ted DiBiase even more.
{Ted DiBiase} Who could you possibly be texting this much?
Before she can respond he snatches it from her hand and looks down at the phone, and his grip over the phone begins to tighten and his breathing becomes heavy and much faster, his eyes look as if he's about to blow a gasket with his face beginning to turn a bright red.
{Ted DiBiase} Are you kidding me?! After everything we've been through, after everything he's done to both me and my family ever since he got here, you have the nerve to text Michael McGillicutty behind my back?! That's it! I'm not doing this again, I refuse to have to fight him for your affection, and I've had it up to here with you insulting every single thing I love. The fans, the way I choose to live my life, and the title that I've risked everything to win! It's over, Maryse. It's over. I can't do this with you again, this is one game that I refuse to play anymore, we're done!
Maryse stared at Ted with equal anger, before she flung her hand up in his face, giving him her "talk to the hand" pose. Ted stared at her through her fingers for a moment, puffing out his breath as he turned and stormed off, slamming the door behind him. Maryse stared at the door for a moment, before she picked up her phone, slowly looking down at the screen as a wicked smile came across her face. She began texting again, she quietly spoke the words:
{Maryse} .. Guess what???
The smile stuck on her face as she over-emphasized hitting the 'send' button. She put her phone back by her side as our cameras fade to the next segment.

*We return from a commercial break as the fans are met by the sight of Redemption GM Vickie Guerrero backstage, she is talking on her phone but suddenly there is a knock on her door. She hangs up the phone and tells the person to come in, XWL's Showoff Dolph Ziggler walks up to Vickie as even louder boo's are heard.*
[Vickie Guerrero] Dolph! I've been meaning to talk to you about-
[Dolph Ziggler] Vickie, I've been meaning to talk to you. Why is Randy Orton in the King of the Ring tournament and not me? I was born for something like that!
[Vickie Guerrero] Err, Dolph. I'm sorry, it's just, well.. You know what Randy's like, I can't just tell him he's barred from King of the Ring, who knows what he'd do?
[Dolph Ziggler] You should have put me in a qualifying match for it against him, killing two birds with one stone! C'mon Vickie, I thought you were better than this, Mick Foley would've done the right thing...
[Vickie Guerrero] Do not compare me to Mick Foley, I'm trying to give you the best opportunities-
[Dolph Ziggler] Then where the hell is my King of the Ring spot? Where the hell is my World Title shot? Hell, I wasn't even put in a contenders match for the United States Championship! Kane? Cesaro? Nobody cares about either of them, the fans have paid to see Dolph Ziggler. Not some freak in a mask who is in the midst of a mid life crisis, and Cesaro.. what the hell has he done?
[Vickie Guerrero] Dolph, you know how big a fan I am of your work, but what have you done? All you've done in the past couple of weeks is beat up a broomstick, how does that deserve any of those things?
[Dolph Ziggler] Just give me the chance and I'll take it! I can take the ball and run with it, but that'll never happen will it? Just because you're all about the biggest stars like Randy Orton and Ted DiBiase, aren't you? I'm sick of this Vickie, you promised me that I'd be a star when I came to Redemption and what have I got? Maybe I should just-
*Suddenly Vickie slaps Dolph across the face with a thunderous slap! The crowd can be heard going “Ohhhh!” Dolph turns to Vickie with a serious look.*
[Vickie Guerrero] You have a match with AJ Styles tonight, one of the people who you faced in your last actual match. If you want to prove yourself to me, then you're gonna go out there and beat him.
*Dolph doesn't even say a word as he storms out of the office. We quietly head off to a video package for Chris Jericho, the man with a revamped and focused attitude looking to make his mark again.*
Sorry this promo was so short and crammed together, I had a much longer one done but my laptop battery died and the promo didn't save. So I just did out a short version of it, I'll try do a better post match Dolph promo to make up for it.

As Night of champions continues the camera’s cut backstage into a room which looks run down a man holding a microphone walks into the camera obviously looking new to the job before waiting a few moments
Interviewer Is it on? It is? Ok.. Ladies and gentlemen let me welcome the one and only sleazy superstar, Joey Ryan!
Joey walks next to the interviewer in cocky fashion stubbing out a cigarette on the man’s shoulder before flicking it away
Joey Ryan Lights….Cameras….Action!
??? ! Now Joey this is very exciting for me, it is my first time here at XWL.
Joey Ryan Let me stop you right there because if I let you continue I feel that this interview is going to get weird and unless you’re a diva then Joey Ryan doesn’t do weird. But you’re new here and you might not know a lot about Joey Ryan so how’s about instead of you asking the questions you just hold this little mic right here while I ask the questions the people want to here and give the answers like only Joey Ryan can. Firstly let’s discuss what happened last night when Joey Ryan walked in and made history by beating AJ at his own game and walking out of Digital Decision the first man to ever win in an Ultimate X match inside an XWL ring. Last night I almost broke AJ’s neck when I took him for a moustache ride off the top of one of the steel poles and almost broke my ankle in the process. I have a few cuts and bruises and I’m going to be a man and admit that AJ took me too the limit.
Joey Ryan AJ gave it his all but that was not good enough. I went in and promised to deliver a taste of Joey Ryan sleaze and that is exactly what I did. Many people have called me a cheater and someone who didn’t deserve to win the way I did. Apparently it was unjust and unfair as AJ Styles was the one who did unhook the X and get it free but that is not the way to win the match. For all you wrestling fans just want to be what the industry wants you to be you will follow the crowd and if one little sheep feels I have cheated you all just follow along. The rules were that it has to be the first man to have the X under control wins the match. AJ didn’t have the X under control he was dangling by one arm and dropped it in just a few seconds. I held on and now I am the one with a nice shiny X hanging in my locker room.
Joey Ryan Rico can you tell me what type of room this is?
Interviewer Well it’s a dump!
Joey Ryan And what am I doing right now?
Interviewer Questioning everything?
Joey Ryan Wrong. I am cutting one hell of a promo and this just shows the kind of superstar that I am. You see it dosen’t matter where I am because I am just that damn sleazy I can cut a promo in a bathroom or a dump like this and it will work. The people will listen and wherever I go I leave it oozing with sleaze. Just look at this I am even making you look good just because you are stood next to me. It dosen’t matter who it is because when Joey Ryan is on the camera the ratings go through the roof. Joey Ryan is the greatest superstar that has ever graced an XWL ring. Joey Ryan is the man with MOVIE STAR GOOD LOOKS! ROCKSTAR CHARISMA! And the man who is BRINGING SLEAZY BACK to XWL!
Interviewer Well this is what I hear. Word around the ring is that you are the sleaziest of all the superstars in XWL. Is this correct?
Joey Ryan Of course that is correct and not only am I the sleaziest I am also the man who makes history each and every night. Whether it be on Breakdown or Redemption people look at me and all want a piece of Joey Ryan. Over the last few months I have stepped up my game because I want the chance to fight for the world heavyweight championship. I want the chance to be recognised as the true main event superstar that I am. Joey Ryan should not be fighting people like AJ Styles but instead should be up their and maybe I should have done what Edge did last night huh? I can deliver one hell of a spear, maybe I could have made an impact like that and got myself right into a title match. Maybe Ted could have gone for a moustache ride and found out the hard way how deadly sleazy can be. Last week I announced myself in the King of the ring tournament and Joey Ryan will win that tournament. It dosen’t matter who is announced to face me because I have my eyes set on getting to the top of the stage and becoming a big name in this company.
Joey Ryan Tonight though as I get my warm up match for King of the Ring I go against a man who looks like he just came in to XWL through the developmental company. Management expect Joey Ryan a man who is keeping this company afloat by bringing in the ratings and bringing in the draw. To go against a man from England who hasn’t even won a match yet. Is this some kind of joke? This is who my King of the ring warm up match is against? I wanted a challenge but instead I’ll just make short work of this newcomer and show him just why oh why you don’t step in the ring with Joey Ryan. I’m not going to do my research on you, quite frankly I only care about showing up and getting paid at the end of the night. This is your chance to have a taste of sleaze and maybe you might even be thankful I am going to let you step into the ring with me tonight. Good luck, you’ll need it.
Joey walks off camera as the camera fades out to a short package showing the dangers of some of professional wrestling and highlighting the importance of not trying these moves at home. After the camera comes back to the arena the lights go off and Kenneth Camerons theme hits the P.A. It looks as if this match is going to happen right now…
Normal Match
Kenneth Cameron vs. Joey Ryan Cameron couldn’t get it done in his debut against Cesaro, and being pitted against the former XWL 15 and Intercontinental Champion isn’t doing him any favors but if he wants to make an impact he’ll have to find a way to win.

*XWL cuts to the ring as we see Natalya standing in the middle of the ring. She's smiling and waving to the crowd as if she owns the place. The crowd returns with huge boo's. Natalya is ignoring it as she enjoys the sound of the crowds boo's. Natalya lifts up the mic towards her mouth and begins to speak.*
[[Natalya]] Hello, I would like to apologize to everybody for not showing up to the pay per view last night. I felt that because I wasn't given the chance to be on the card I shouldn't show up it makes sense no? Like why should I waste my time coming to a place full of people that I don't even like? That's just not a good time for me I rather be in the ring beating up on the people that I don't like rather than speaking to them. Speaking of beating up on people as many of you people already know Raquel Diaz and I haven't been getting along very well. We went back and forth two weeks ago she said some disrespectful things, as did I. I realized something I should not be around such a low class of a human being. I was actually planning on showing up to the arena yesterday and coming out to make a challenge to Raquel. Then before I was about to leave I thought to myself do I really care that much about this person who's probably not going to be in XWL in two months? Is she really worth my time and effort? No, she is not I have to concentrate and something big not something very little.
[[Natalya]] I need to concentrate and getting the divas championship around my waist. I heard what you said about me a few weeks ago Layla. You think you're something special just because you beat a bunch of talent less bitches? You know that belt that you carry around you're just warming it up for me. So please get ready to hand it over because I know tonight somebody is facing you for you're title and I'm saying right now that I deserve to be that person. Please I would like somebody to name a diva that is deserving of getting that title shot. Nope you can't think of one I got one and she's standing right in this ring. Tonight after I beat the current Miss. Money In The Bank it will prove why I should be in that match against Layla. Hell, I can pull double duty it doesn't matter to me because I'm in the best shape of my life and no body is stopping me for accomplishing my goal. If I don't receive that title match tonight it will prove that Layla is ducking me. I know you're watching this Layla if you were a real champion you'd be coming out to this ring and shut me up. However, you're not I can tell you're afraid I'd be to just look at me. I'm the best wrestler in the divas division and that is a fact all the others are unimportant and washed up.
[[Natalya]] Let me go through all the divas in XWL and I’ll give you all one reason why they shouldn't be facing Layla tonight. Let me start with the breakdown bitches first of all when I said the divas are washed up here is a major example. Aj Lee somebody who is never going to make it back to what she used to be. In simple terms, she's washed up. Next let me talk about Beth Phoenix when was the last time she did something in XWL next. Daffney I don't even know who that is next Kaitlyn good job you picked up a win against the Marty Jannetty of Lay-Cool next! Mickie James she'll be gone within the month. Raquel, everybody already knows my take on her next! Trish Stratus a former divas champion who's just another Aj lets move on to the redemption sluts shall we. The Beautiful People, those are two ladies that give blondes a bad name how they ever thought that the name Beautiful People fit them confuses me. Eve Torres thank god her match at the pay per view was a last chance match now I wont have to deal with her next! Lita and Melina are another set of divas that are washed up and never are going to amount to anything in XWL. Lastly, Maryse she's nothing to XWL and I hope she fails when ever she cashes in her money in the bank. This is funny I just realized that I'm starting to sound like Layla. Nevertheless, everything that I just said is true it's all true let me give you some reasons why I should be facing Layla tonight.
[[Natalya]] I'm the prettiest, the strongest, the most athletic and I have the best win streak as of late. Those are facts people that should be taken into consideration when picking who faces Layla. Layla has nothing to offer against me I've seen her wrestler and she leaves a lot of gaps open that I could easily take advantage of. I guarantee all you people tonight that If I am the one to face Layla there is going to be a new XWL Divas Champion. I'm not even going to think about if I don't get the shot because that's how confident I am that I'm going to receive the title match. I know Mick Foley knows that I'm the only eligible diva to be in that match. I’ve been waiting for this match since my return they should of realized how good I was and just handed me the belt. That would of made more sense then having me to work and prove that I deserve a shot, which I already have. Natalya is the future of the XWL divas not Kaitlyn, not Eve and defiantly not Raquel. Tonight is going to be the biggest night in my career if everything goes how it should. I'll give you people a play by play right now. Right now, I'm going to go to the back and prepare for my match up with Maryse. After I defeat Maryse I'll head back to my locker room and await the announcement that Natalya is facing off against Layla for the Divas Championship. That is how the nights going to go I foresee it happening. Thank you everybody for your time tonight is my night not anyone else's night my night to prove that I'm the it factor of the divas in XWL.
*Natalya drops her mic and causally walks out of the ring she begins to walk to the back as the crowd is just giving her so much heat. Natalya stands on the top of the stage and screams. "I'm the next divas champion" It seems as if Natalya is obsessed with becoming the divas champion. XWL cuts too commercial*

As the Supershow returns from a video package for AJ Styles, cameras cut to the arena, just then a very familiar theme hits...
The theme of The Game, Triple H hits across the arena.
[JR] Business is about to pick up!
[Jerry Lawler] Last night Triple H defeated The Rock and Vince McMahon in a handicap match! A match where all the odds was stacked against The Game but he still pulled off an upset.
[Michael Cole] Please Lawler.. Triple H would never have won if it wasn't for CM Punk
[JR] See it whatever way you like, Michael. But the way I saw it, Triple H pinned both men last night.
The man who defeated The Corporation in a two on one handicap at Digital Decision walks out from the curtain, Sledge hammer in hand. The crowd are going insane for the King of Kings.
Triple H makes his way down to the ring. Doing his signature water spray on the apron before entering the ring, and grabbing a microphone.
[Triple H] Last night at Digital Decision, I defeated Two of the single most powerful men in the history of this business. One of them the chairman of the WWE, my father in law.. and one of the smartest wrestling minds you will ever see. The other, a former multi time world champion.. a man who had done everything this business has to offer. But despite all that, I pinned them both in the middle of this ring for the 1..2...3. And Sure, I owe a thanks to a certain CM Punk for the helping hand. But the most important part for me was I showed that I'm still The Game, and I am still that damn good. I defeated two men last night.. and I can now finally put all the crap with Brock Lesnar and the Corporation behind me. I can move on, I can now go onto my original goal of becoming World Champion one more time.
[Triple H] And my way of doing that? Is the become King Of The Ring once again. You see, In the back I was speaking to a guy who I have alot of history with. A man who I've battled countless times, in some of the most brutal matches I've ever been in. Ofcourse that man is Mick Foley.... I was speaking to Mick, catching up on old times.. talking about everything we put each other through.. but then we got talking about King of The Ring, and Mick Foley informed me that the winner of the King of the Ring will qualify for a spot in the Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship at Eye for an Eye.
[JR] What an announcement from Triple H! The King of the Ring just got a hell of alot bigger!
[Triple H] So, After I outlast 7 other men, and Once again be crowned King of The Ring.. I will go onto compete in a match that is brutal... unforgiven.. and I will......
Suddenly Triple H is cut off by........
[Michael Cole] Oh My!
[Jerry Lawler] What the hell is this? Paul Heyman? What is he doing here!
The man known as Paul Heyman walks out from behind the curtain to a mixed reaction.
Heyman walks down to the ring, grabbing a microphone in the progress. Before entering the ring and looking Triple H face to face before beginning to speak.
[Paul Heyman] Triple H... it's been a while hasn't it? It's been what? 6 Years since we last saw each other. Since then, I've moved on from this business, ever since your father in law threw me out like I was a pile of trash.. I let all that go and I did something you can't.. I left it all behind. Look at you, Hunter... You are 42 years old, and you can't move on from this business to let the young and upcoming talent have their time. Instead people like Brock Lesnar, who have a future in this company... are pushed down and overlooked for the likes of you. But you've never changed have you? I remember back in the WWE, in the board meetings... it was always the same wasn't it Hunter? You never wanted to be the one to give the young talent the time and the chance to become a star.. because you was always afraid they'd be a threat to you, and that they'd be the one to take your spot.
[Paul Heyman] And you always got it your way didn't you? Because you was smart enough to marry the bosses daughter. But here it's all different.. you actually have to work for success... and when you know that you are in any danger, you do what you did to Brock Lesnar. You viciously assault them and try to end their careers. Because apparently for you, destroying Brock Lesnar's house and putting his family in danger wasn't enough.. you had to do what you have always done and go to far. You could've ended that mans life, and you didn't give a damn. You put Brock Lesnar in a hospital bed with every intention of making sure he stays there, but I've got some news for you Triple H... Brock Lesnar is out of the hospital. He's sitting at home watching this as we speak, and he gave me a message to give to you... He will be back, and when he is back... He'll be coming for you, Hunter.
[Triple H] Well look what the cat dragged in. Paul... Where do I start? You're a bitter old man aren't you? I didn't get where I am today because I married Steph... I got where I am today by working my ass off every single night for this business. I worked my way up from the bottom, to becoming a Champion. So throw around all the accusations you like Paul, but it doesn't change the facts. As far as Brock Lesnar goes... You can give him a message from me too, Tell I'm I'll be waiting for him. Whenever he has the balls to come back, after I gave him the beating of a life time. When he has the balls to face me.... man to man. I'll be here waiting for him, if he wants to finish then then we can finish it. Brock Lesnar isn't the man you think he is, I proved that a few weeks ago when I destroyed him like no man has ever done before. He has never gone face to face with a man like me, Paul. I might not know when he'll be back...One thing is for sure, Paul. Brock Lesnar's game.... will be over.
[Triple H] Oh and one more thing....when you see Brock, tell him I have Two Words for him......
Triple H holds the microphone to the crowd as each and everyone one joins in and shouts "SUCK IT!". Triple H then drops the microphone and exits the ring.
Heyman just watches as Triple H looks back down at him, and does the DX Crotch chop, before laughing and heading back through the curtain. The Night of Champions Supershow fades to a video package for Redemptions newest superstar.

Normal Match
The Miz vs. Zack Ryder The former X-treme Champ faces a man who looks to use KotR as a means of making a champ out of himself. Which man will have his arm raised when the dust is settled?
*The theme song of The Miz hits as the fans begin to boo, Miz gets up to his feet. He taps his wrist at the referee who then raises his hand in the air as the victor.*
[Michael Cole] In his FIRST match back, his first match in nearly seven whole months. The Miz has beat one of the most active in ring competitors recently, Zack Ryder. That shows how much heart Miz has, after all of the months of dedication, rehab and hard work. This is what he gets and this is what he deserves!
[Jim Ross] Give me a break, Cole! Ryder's still in rough shape after his brutal match with Cody Rhodes last night, which was one hell of a slobberknocker might I add..
[Michael Cole] Oh pish posh, look at you trying to make excuses for this ZERO! Lawler, why don't you give Miz your crown already? He's bound to be King of the Ring!
[Jerry “The King” Lawler] Over my dead body, Cole...
*Ryder is back into a sitting position now holding his head, Miz breaks away from the ref and big boots Ryder in the head to a loud ovation of boo's.*
[Jerry “The King” Lawler] Oh come on, Ryder went through a bullrope match last night and now this. He's already hurt!
[Michael Cole] No wait guys, I think Ryder shouted something of vulgar nature towards Miz. Ryder deserves this!
[Jim Ross] Do you really think Zack Ryder is the kind of person to do that?
[Michael Cole] Would I ever lie?
*Ryder gets to his knee's and begins to punch Miz in the stomach. The fans begin to rally behind Long Island Iced Z as he gets to his feet. Miz and Ryder begin to trade blows until Miz kicks Ryder in the leg, causing him to fall to his knee's, Miz then hits a snap DDT drilling Ryder head first into the mat. Miz gets back up to his feet and mocks Ryder.*
*All the referee can do is watch on as Miz picks up Ryder and plants him with another Skull Crushing Finale.*
*The ref finally steps in and checks on Ryder, he gets him rolled out of the ring and helps him outside. Miz walks over and demands a microphone, he brings it back to the center of the ring as the fans continue to chant “Let's go Ryder! Woo Woo Woo! Let's go Ryder! Woo Woo Woo!”*
[The Miz] Let's go Ryder..
*The fans chant “Woo Woo Woo!” in support of Ryder.*
[The Miz] Let's go Ryder!
*Yet again the fans chant “Woo Woo Woo!” The Miz walks over to the ropes and looks down at Ryder who is being tended to by a medic. Miz begins to obnoxiously chant in a childish voice.*
[The Miz] LET'S GO RYDER! WOO WOO WOO! LET'S GO RYDER! WOO WOO WOO!... You're all PATHETIC!
*The fans boo.*
[Michael Cole] HA! That was genius!
[The Miz] In the past Seven Months, a lot has changed. But it's clear that one thing hasn't changed at all, how idiotic you people are and how you chant moronic things at the wrong wrestlers! You are all clapping your hands together chanting for him?! Zack Ryder, the guy who was demolished by Cody Rhodes last night, and the same guy who was demolished by The Miz just now. As he lies on the ground trying to figure out where he is, you chant his name, and not mine.. Not the name of the winner of the match, not the name of XWL's next King of the Ring? Really? After all I've gone through in the past 7 months, REALLY? You can hate me all you want, because I'd rather be hated for being the most charismatic and dominant superstar in XWL history. Than be loved for being a phony who shakes hands, signs autographs and sucks up to the fans, I don't want to be like Chavo Guerrero, or Triple H, or CM Punk. I want to be the best, and the best.. is Miz. What you people just witnessed was a masterpiece, there wasn't a single bit of ring rust on me. I was as good as ever in the ring, hell, I'm even better, I'm faster, I'm stronger and I'm ready for King of the Ring.
[The Miz] I haven't been so sure on anything in a long time. I haven't been this focused since my run up to facing Justin Gabriel to win the United States Title. And you know what happened then? I did it. I beat Justin, I did what I said I was going to do. I promised to win the United States Championship, and I did it. And now I promise to win King of the Ring, and I will do it. You can all mark my words, quote it for your blogs, tweet it, whatever! All that matters is you are all gazing at royalty, wrestling royalty. I don't care who I have to beat, how many obstacles I have to do, how many hoops I have to jump through because I will not stop until my hand is raised and I am announced King of the Ring. Next week, the tournament starts, the fun begins! And I don't care who I'm facing, I'd beat them all at once if I could.. I'm going to clear out BreakDown, my new home of King of the Ring participants. And then I'm going to pick up the scraps of whoever is left for me to face from Redemption. It doesn't matter who it is because all those participants are to me, are just a bunch of hurdles that I will jump. People that I will eliminate one by one on my road to glory! And believe me, winning King of the Ring, while it is fantastic, will not be the defining moment of my career, oh no..
[The Miz] I'm sure you all saw that goof, Triple H announce that the winner of King of the Ring will not only get some of the biggest bragging rights in XWL. But they will automatically be entered into the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber at Eye for an Eye. I don't think you people understand how important that actually is for me, this is finally it. Finally I get my chance that I have deserved for over a year now, now that it's all down to beating seven people in King of the Ring, and then five in Elimination Chamber, those twelve men will not stop me. Nobody will stop me, I've wanted this too bad for too long and I'm going full steam ahead to Eye for an Eye! I don't care who is the World Champion at Eye for an Eye, because all they are is a target. Everyone in King of the Ring is a target, and I'm ready to shoot. Consider yourself all on notice, by the future King of the Ring... Because I'm The Miz... And I'm...
[The Miz] Awesome.
*Miz makes his way to the back as the commentators take center stage.*
[Michael Cole] Well? Aren't you two going to tell us how great that was?
[Jim Ross] Isn't that your job?
[Jerry “The King” Lawler] Yeah! I thought the resident suckup title went to Michael Cole a long time ago.
[Michael Cole] Oh, ha ha ha! Both of you are just bitter because neither of you are in the prime of your career, like Miz and myself!
[Jim Ross] I didn't even knew you had a prime point of your life, Cole..
*We now head off to a video package for one of XWL's most charismatic superstars hands down, Alex Shelley. A man who faces an uphill battle after losing at Digital Decision.*

As the arena lighting cuts to focus on our tron, a specific blonde is revealed, one that has stirred up a bit of drama recently, none other than Maryse. Maryse is walking down the backstage hallways of XWL with her Miss Money in the Bank briefcase in hand, seeming as though nothing were wrong. Despite the fact that she and her ex-boyfriend Ted DiBiase had broken up earlier tonight. Suddenly, our cameraman begins to ask questions.
[Cameraman] Hey, Maryse. Is it alright if I ask you a few questions?
{Maryse} If you'd get on with it, maybe.
[Cameraman] Alright, uh, Ted DiBiase. He broke up with you tonight, what kind of impact is that going to have on not only your mental state, but also your financial state?
Maryse shot him an irritated glance before she began speaking.
{Maryse} Being with that loser caused more damage than I thought. But it was worth it, while I was in Paris I made sure to gift myself quite a chunk out of Ted's credit card. So, that area is covered.
[Cameraman] Maryse, I have to ask, what is it with all the money? I mean, this job has to be paying you plenty as it is. So, why the urge to pray on other people's bank accounts?
{Maryse} See, the men in the company all have big mouths, and deep pockets. Unfortunately I can't say the same for their-.. Well, nevermind. Point being, why wouldn't you want to enjoy the nicer things in life? I don't consider myself a "Gold Digger," I just think I appreciate the finer things in life. The things other people wish they could afford to enjoy.
[Cameraman] Point received. So, what's this thing with Michael McGillicutty? A few weeks ago you couldn't stand him, and now you're texting him like a 13 year old girl who's parents just got a deal on unlimited texting.
Maryse snickered at his odd analogy of her texting habits.
{Maryse} Michael and I have a very special relationship. When I got on my flight for Paris, do you know who was checking up me? Ha, not Ted DiBiase. No he was too busy polishing his plastic piece of junk to even leave me a voice mail. And oddly enough, Michael McGillicutty did. Over the weeks I was away on my modeling trip, Michael and I began to talk more and more every day. He's actually not that bad once you get to know him.
[Cameraman] So Ted really didn't call? Not even once?
{Maryse} I suppose he was going for the "Boyfriend of the Year" award, right?
The sarcasm was easily detected in her tone
[Cameraman] Fair enough. Tonight you face the 3rd Generation Diva, Natalya. Even though you and Natalya share a Canadian heritage, you two are practically complete opposites.
{Maryse} How so?
[Cameraman] Well, you're beautiful, and classy, and you smell good. And your chin is just so-..
{Maryse} ..Not manly?
[Cameraman] Yes! It's sculpted like a goddess. As well as the rest of you.
The camera zooms in on Maryse's breasts, as the cameraman takes a moment to stare. We here a few snaps, as the camera shoots back up to her face.
{Maryse} On with the interview, I have better things to do.
[Cameraman] Right, forgive me. Anyway, tonight you face Natalya. Recently Natalya has had nothing good to say about you Maryse, do you have any thoughts on her?
Maryse chuckled, adjusting her hair as she looked back at the cameras
{Maryse} Natalya does not scare me. No matter what she says, no matter what she wears, no matter how hard she tries to be sexy like me, it's just not going to happen. Tonight, I'm going to show her that I am the top Canadian diva around here. Why? Because I'm French-Canadian. I'm not a moose-hunting yankee with a manjaw and cheap extensions, I am the Sexiest of Sexy, the French-Canadian Beauty. I am the perfect combination. Natalya? She is nothing to me. I already took out Trish, and tonight I'm going to take out Natalya. I am the top Canadian diva, and just the top diva.
[Cameraman] Wow.. Maryse, that was beautiful.
Maryse smiled, gloating
[Cameraman] Well I can see you were busy, so I'll let you go prepare for your match. Good luck out there tonight, not that you're going to need it.
The cameraman stopped as Maryse continued walking, laughing in flattery at his comment. The camera watched Maryse keep down the hallway, until she came across Michael McGillicutty who was sitting on a crate against the wall, with his Mr. Money in the Bank briefcase beside him. The crew behind the cameraman began to whisper
[Unnamed Crew Member] Woah woah woah, is that Michael McGillicutty?
[Cameraman] Yeah, I think so.
[Unnamed Crew Member] Zoom in dude!
[Cameraman] I'm trying I'm trying!
The camera finally zooms in as we can faintly hear Maryse and McGillicutty begin a conversation.
{Maryse} What are you doing out here?
Michael doesn't answer as he is still lost in thought, mentally preparing to face the man that is called “The Ultimate Opportunist” and the man that foiled his cash in attempts just twenty four hours ago. Maryse asks again.
{Maryse} Michael, hey.
Michael hops off the crate, as he looks at Maryse.
{McGillicutty} Hey you.
Michael smiled at Maryse as he leaned in and kissed her briefly, Maryse willingly kissed him back until they finally detached.
{McGillicutty} Are you ready?
{Maryse} Of course I'm ready.
Maryse nodded in agreement as Michael smiled at her again, wrapping his arm around her shoulders as the began walking down the hallway, out of our camera's view. Both with their briefcases on either side of them. Shortly after, the camera crew begins to whisper again.
[Unnamed Crew Member] Ready? Ready for what?
[Cameraman] How should I know?
[Unnamed Crew Member] I don't know, just get your stuff. Let's follow them and find out.
[Cameraman] Yeah, good idea.
[Unnamed Crew Member] We are so getting that raise!
We hear what seems to be a high five, as the tron returns to blackness, and we switch to the next part of our show tonight.

Normal Match
JBL vs. Santino Marella The former XWL 15 Champ and The ever comedic Santino find themselves on opposite sides of the ring tonight, will JBL lay short work of him, or will Santino introduce JBL to his friend the cobra?
- . . . . S p o i l e r s . . . . . . . . . -
Santino's theme hits and the fans rise to their feet cheering his triumphant return here in XWL. He spends a few moments marching around the ring with his usual trumpet taunting until we slowly fade away from his victory celebration and to the backstage area outside a closed door. It begins to slowly open and out walks the World Heavyweight Champion geared up for the battle he'll take part in later in our main-event, and he seems unusually serious. Perhaps it's due to be attacked by his very good friend last night after retaining his title in a brutal Hell in a Cell, or maybe it's the fact that he just broke up with his girlfriend after a rather ugly fight between the two, regardless of these things he'll need to be in the right state of mind if he plans on walking away tonight with that title still around his waist.
But before he can even fully exit the door he's approached by none other than Josh Matthews.
{Josh Matthews} Pardon me Ted, have you got a minute?
{Ted DiBiase} Josh, as much as your questions don't annoy me as much as all the other interviewers, I just would rather be left alone right now.
{Josh Matthews} I understand, you must be dealing with a lot right now...but it'll only take a minute.
He sighs knowing he's too nice to just tell him to piss off so he motions for him to carry on.
{Josh Matthews} Earlier in the night you broke up with your girlfriend, Maryse. How are you feeling? Do you think you'll be in any shape emotionally to defend your title tonight?
{Ted DiBiase} ...You've gotta be kidding me...my god Josh, I know I'm one of the nicest people here and all, but do you really think it effects me THAT much? I'm not here to have relationships, I'm here to interact with the fans, and do what I love every single night. Sure I got side tracked, I started having these school boy feelings, which I could really kick myself in the ass for having in the first place...The woman left me when I lost everything, and yet like a love struck fool I allowed myself fall for her again...she's a beautiful woman, hell some guys would kill to have a girlfriend like that...but that's only because they haven't had a woman like Maryse. She's nice to look at, but talking to her has to be one of the most irritating things in the world...Prada this, Gucci that, my god how many shoes does a woman really need?! She cost me more than my home and car, and that was just the first three months! My point is this little deal with McGillicutty just helped me realize that she wasn't with me because she wanted to, she was with me because I could supply the cash for her shopping addiction. So tonight, when she was once again in one of her moods, I just knew it was time to end things before another Ziggler incident came about.
{Josh Matthews} Not long after our cameras saw Maryse and Michael getting awful close, thoughts?
{Ted DiBiase} Good luck, buddy! Because believe you me, you're gonna need it. The first week will be the best time of your life....and then it'll continue, and then she'll talk your head off about everything you couldn't possible care less about, and then she'll expect you to buy her everything, and when I say everything, I'm talking about EVERYTHING. Say buh-bye to that nice pay check of yours and hello more clothes you'll be able to fit in your closet. Say adios to everything you like, because she's going to redecorate your entire house, and the best part, it'll be with your money! Want a pink fluffy floor rug? Of course you don't, but she does! How about a diamond encrusted pillow? Think that'll be comfy? No? Cause it ain't!
{Josh Matthews} Sounds like she's a little high maintenance.
{Ted DiBiase} A little?! She makes my father look like a penny pincher.
{Josh Matthews} So there's nothing you'll miss about having her as a girlfriend?
{Ted DiBiase} Don't get me wrong, we did have some good times, but at the end of the day we're both entirely two different people, sometimes opposites attract, and sometimes it's just a lost cause. When she approached me in my locker room last year I just didn't know what to think...and whether she had any real feelings for me the entire time or not I'm not sure, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't have it's moments. I hope Maryse and Michael will be very happy together, because I know I'll be happy continuing my run as World Heavyweight Champion. Mikey failed to get this title but he got the girl, so uh, congrats I guess?
He finishes in a sarcastic tone.
{Josh Matthews} How about what happened to you after successfully defending your title, what do you have to say about that?
{Ted DiBiase} What is there really to say? I thought Edge was better than that, but I guess jealousy is not only ugly, it's a trait that's oh so common in this business. Two months ago we met in a number one contenders match, it could have gone either way, but I walked out the winner, and I went on to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Maybe he's bitter that it wasn't him? Either way I don't care what his reason was, because what's done is done, and what's important now is showing him that I won't take this attack lightly, I won't laugh it off, I won't crack a joke about, okay maybe during some point I will but that's not important. The old Ted would've done those things, he would've given Edge a free pass, but those days are gone my friend...and you really don't know what you've started. You want this title? You and everybody else buddy, you wanna jump in front of the line? I got no problem putting your ass out on Dream Street once again!
{Josh Matthews} Are you confident heading into your defense with Cody Rhodes tonight?
{Ted DiBiase} Cody's a tricky kind of guy, never underestimate him because he's proven he's got a few screws loose and is capable of anything, but I'm just one night removed from a grueling title defense, so I say bring on another! As for you Edge, I'm going out to that ring in just a little bit, and if you're any time of man at all, you'll be there too.
Ted gives the camera one last focused glance before walking past the cameraman and Night of Champions then heads to a commercial break.

Once we return from a commercial break we first see a graphic hyping the main-event World Heavyweight Championship match between voted challenger Cody Rhodes, and the champ himself Ted DiBiase.
It fades away after a few seconds and that's where we hear the start of the World Heavyweight Champion's theme echoing throughout the arena with the fans quickly rising to their feet and holding signs up in support of him as well as screaming as loud as their heart's content.
{JR} Welcome back to the show folks, it's a special Night of Champions and on his way out here now is the man that will be defending his title against the person you decided should be.
{Michael Cole} It's about time Cody start's getting some recognition, just because he doesn't pander to all these people on a nightly basis like someone else doesn't mean he's not deserving of carrying this company as Word Heavyweight Champion.
{King} How exactly is Ted pandering? Is it such a surprise that someone can genuinely love the fans?
The cameras cut up away to the top of the stage where Ted has just walked out from behind the curtain and he's gazing out into the sold out arena with pumped up energy about him.
{Lillian Garcia} Please welcome at this time, on his way to the ring, the World Heavyweight Champion, Ted DiBiase!
After taking it all in, a small somewhat confident smile forms on his face as his long walk down the ramp begins.
{JR} The fact that Ted's able to walk out here after what went down last night is anything short of a miracle.
{King} A grueling and long drawn out Hell in a Cell match with a man that would do anything to walk away victorious, and then being attacked by the man he thought was his friend, the returning Edge. It wasn't a good night for him, and the closing image for Digital Decision was terrifying in every way.
{Michael Cole} Edge sent a message to not only Ted but XWL as a whole, he's back and his sights are set on that World Heavyweight Championship. The question is how will Ted respond, and what does Cody Rhodes think about all this? Surely his confidence has to be soaring through the roof after the condition Ted has to be in.
His walk down the ramp continues and he's shown looking off to the side of him at all the fans cheering him on, he's obviously very appreciative of their support, but he's out here for a reason and he has to save his energy for the big challenge ahead in the main-event.
{King} He's in a surprisingly good mood it seems, do you think it has anything to do with what went down between he and Maryse earlier?
{Michael Cole} What kind of idiot would break up with a woman like Maryse?
{JR} I don't see how that makes him an idiot, people break up all the time.
{Michael Cole} But have you seen Maryse? I mean actually SEEN her? You've gotta be awful stupid to say bye to that.
{King} Cole this isn't about Ted's love life, he's the World Heavyweight Champion, what he does in his own personal time is none of our business.
{JR} Well said, King.
Ted reaches the bottom of the ramp and a brighter smile appears on his face, fans hold out their hands and he slaps them without hesitation before walking over to the steel steps and slowly making his way up them. He holds onto the top rope while looking off into the distance of the crowd then steps into the ring grabbing a microphone from the ring announcer that stood inside the ring.
He stands still for a moment looking around with the microphone hanging at his side. A loud "Ted!" chant starts up as he just stands enjoying the moment. Once the excitement dies down DiBiase raises his microphone up to his chest.
{Ted DiBiase} Last night I stepped inside hell itself, and instead of my fate being sealed, instead of failing to rise to the occasion, and instead of my fairy tale reaching it's final chapter, the clock struck midnight, and I was still your World Heavyweight Champion! Despite everything against me, despite my injuries, despite the fact that Michael was willing to do anything and everything he had to take this title from me, I proved that this isn't some fluke, that I'm not just incredibly lucky, but that my hard work over the years has paid off. That if you want something bad enough you'll achieve it one day. I am physical living and breathing proof that in this business you never say never.
{Ted DiBiase} I can name at least a dozen names that told me it'd never happen, that you're dreaming to big, kid. So what if I was? If you're not here to be the best one day then why bother getting into this business to begin with? Every man back there in that locker room has the potential to do what I've done. To go against adversity and work harder than they have ever worked in their life so that when they get their opportunity, they run with it, just like I did. I'm not going to say it was easy, because it was anything but, but the amount of satisfaction you get for finally accomplishing that one goal that seemed just too far out of your reach is just indescribable.
{Ted DiBiase} But last night wasn't this big celebration, it wasn't a night triumphant, and that's because of one man, Edge...
The mention of his name causes the fans to immediately boo.
{Ted DiBiase} Now I don't know what the hell that was, if it was a way of getting my attention, then consider it a job well done, because you have my undivided attention. People all around the world have been asking why? Why Edge? Why would you do such a thing? I thought he was your friend, I thought you respected him, I thought you better than that, but you know what I say? I don't care why he did it, this is a cut throat business, as we've seen in the past friends stab each other in the back if it means they'll get ahead. Did I think he was better than that though? Absolutely, I considered Edge a great friend, I had mad respect for him, and I felt terrible when he went down with that injury. But if he wants to blame me for his own freak accident, then he's got another thing coming. This isn't ballet, this isn't finger painting, it's wrestling, injuries happen all the time, I just had a Hell in a Cell match while injured, I'm hurting quite a bit right now, do you see me complaining or blaming anyone else? No, you don't, and that's because every time you step into this ring you face that same possibility. One wrong move, one awkward landing, and you could be out for up to a year. Frankly I don't care what he has to say regarding the issue, no doubt he has plans to be out here later tonight running his mouth, bitching and moaning as many before him have done, and bragging about attacking me the way the did.
{Ted DiBiase} But Edge you sir have nothing to be proud of, anyone could do what you did, the difference is people like me are better than that. We handle our business face to face, you got a problem with someone? You call them out, and so that's exactly what I'm going to do. Cody can wait until later, I've still got a splitting headache thanks to you, so how bout you come out here so I can return the favor!
He lowers his microphone at his side then turns face to the stage awaiting the man he just called out.
{Jerry Lawler} You think he'll have the guts to actually come out?
{Michael Cole} Are you implying he's scared of Ted? He made short work of him at the conclusion of Digital Decision, I think it's Ted that should be afraid of him.
{Jim Ross} One could argue Edge's attack might not have been so successful had DiBiase not just finished competing inside Satan's structure, also known as Hell in a Cell.
{Michael Cole} Excuses excuses...Ted's an idiot for calling him out right now, what if he does the same thing as Sunday? Then he'll be in absolutely no shape to compete in the main-event tonight and his dream as he calls it will go up in smoke.
{Jerry Lawler} Regardless of what we think it's clear Ted's taken this very personal, and I can't say I blame him.
After almost a minute of no sign of the Rated R Superstar, Ted's patience appears to have run out and he becomes even more agitated, he starts to raise his microphone up again, perhaps to continue his attempt at luring him out, but stops and turns his head annoyed as a voice echos throughout the arena.
{???} ATTENTION PLEASE.
The crowd roars in a chorus of boos as the theme song of the 'Dashingly Insane' Cody Rhodes hits, but one person is happy to see him.
{Michael Cole} YES! Cody Rhodes has come to Breakdown to save it once again!
{Jerry Lawler} Oh great, this is the last kid I wanted to come back from Redemption!
{Jim Ross} Well, King, he does have the World Heavyweight Championship match tonight and.....
{Michael Cole} And he's gonna win it! Let's go Cody! Let's go Cody! Let's go Cody! Let's go Cody! Let's go Cody!
{Jerry Lawler} Would you please shut up?
{Michael Cole} Let's go Cody! Let's go Cody!
As Cody continues to make his way towards the ring, not even letting a smile peak out, Cole continues to chant his name.
{Michael Cole} Let's go Cody! Let's go Cody! Let's go Cody!
Rhodes finally enters the ring and stares at the World Heavyweight Champion with clear disdain.
Eventually his evil look turns into a smirk as he raises a microphone to his mouth.
{Cody Rhodes} ATTENTION PLEASE.
The crowd jeers the self-proclaimed "Savior of XWL" and Cody is clearly irritated by their antics. He lowers the microphone and gazes upon the crowd with fury. Eventually he raises the microphone and begins to speak again.
{Cody Rhodes} Do you know who I am, Ted? Wait just a second, let me answer that for you. I am Redemption's Finest. I am the Savior of XWL. I am the Dashingly Insane One. I am Cody Rhodes; and I wait for no man! And worst of all, you want me to wait for Edge? The same man that cost me my job back in March? There's a snowball's chance in hell that I would ever wait for him. Now I'll give him credit that he's no longer going to pander to all these people, but the type of man that he really is does not change. I always have despised Edge, I still despise Edge, and I always will despise Edge, but I'm not going to make the same mistake that you are, Ted. No no no. I'm not going to let other people like Edge clog my mind. I have one goal tonight, and that is to win the World Heavyweight Champions and take it from you. I've been waiting for this chance for a year now, and I'm not going to you or anyone else take it away from me.
{Cody Rhodes} Ted, a few weeks ago I sent out a tweet to the entire XWL Universe. I cautioned them that following the Digital Decision pay per view, I would save something else. You know what I plan on saving? Take a wild guess, Ted. It's the World Heavyweight Championship. That title use to have prestige. It use to be glorious. People wanted to grow up and become the World Heavyweight Champion. Now look what it has become. It's fallen into the hands of people like Justin Gabriel and yourself. In fact, it's barely even a title anymore. It's nothing more than a prop. It's nothing more than a prop in a stupid love triangle that quite frankly NOBODY gives two damns about. And that turns my stomach. I want to save the title and make it valuable again. I want to make it worth fighting for again.
[Cody Rhodes] Not to mention the fact that you're a weak champion, Ted. Not only have you lost to both Daniel Bryan and Shawn Michaels, both men I have beaten before, in two straight weeks, but you should have lost your title three times over already. You should have lost your title at Bad Blood, but Justin Gabriel saved you. Micheal McGillicutty would have had the title that night, and he would had it at Unforgiven, but you had to take the low road and you BARELY escaped with the title. Then just this last Sunday you did it again. McGillicutty was just moments away from taking cashing the Money in the Bank Briefcase when Edge came out and ripped the chance away from him. Unluckily for you Ted, you have no way out tonight. Justin Gabriel isn't here to save you, and you sure do know Edge isn't going to be a help. It's just going to be you and me in the ring tonight, and just like your 'Broski' Zack Ryder, you won't be walking out under your own power, and more importantly you won't be walking out with the World Heavyweight Championship.
{Cody Rhodes} Speaking of Zack Ryder, that brings me to my next point. Last Sunday I beat Zack Ryder in a Texas Bullrope match. I destroyed him. I liberated myself from that recreant. I ended his career, not the Miz, me! Cody Rhodes! My is clear and as I said before my only focus is the World Heavyweight Championship and saving it from your clutches. As for you, Ted? You're mind is in a fog. You've got Michael McGillicutty always one step ahead of you with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Then you have your friend Edge, who finally showed the true colors I exposed, assaulting you after your matches and leaving you flat out on your back. Oh, speaking of laying on your back, we have your girlfriend, Maryse. Or should I say ex-girlfriend? *Cody begins laugh in his face as Ted is clearly un amused.* You see, Ted, you've got all this things clogging your mind when I'm as free as a butterfly. That win you got over me in March was a fluke, and now that I'm free, I'm going to prove it.
{Ted DiBiase} I'm sorry did you call yourself the savior of XWL?
Cody nods mouthing "Yes" confidently.
{Ted DiBiase} So even though you failed to save Breakdown after an absolutely laughable attempt with your buddies The Resistance...you still think you're some type of holier than thou savior? That you're going to save the World Heavyweight Championship? Is that what you really think? Because if so let me tell you what I think, I think you've got big dreams as you should, but you're going about things all wrong. See just because you don't approve of how things may be doesn't make them wrong or in need of saving, no that just means you have a differing opinion. Which I'm all for, that's what makes this business so great. We've got people like you and me that couldn't be more opposite vying to make a name for themselves on a nightly basis, yet you're somehow the right answer to everything? You're going to be oh so much different than I have as champion? Big whoop I've lost a few matches, at least I don't come out here bitching like you and so many others every time I get my ass handed to me, which for you seems to be quite a bit.
{Ted DiBiase} The fact is Cody, while you see me as a weak champion, you're saying that to the guy that just went to hell and back last night and walked away still the World Heavyweight Champion. The same man that walked into this arena, not kicking and screaming at the fact he has to defend his title for a second night in a row, but a man that with no questions asked willingly accepted his task at hand. I'm a true champion, you might disagree, hell I'm sure you're going to open your mouth in a minute explaining how I'm the worst champion ever, but I define the word champion. I've worked my ass off to get to this point, I've never once whined or complained along the way, I just worked that much harder...which is something you wouldn't know anything about. No, instead of fighting and clawing your way up like I did, you just expected to be handed everything in the world with not a damn thing proven. This change you wanted, wasn't about others getting new opportunities, it was all about you being handed what others have had to work their whole careers for.
{Ted DiBiase} And the fact that you stand here saying you want to make this title worth fighting for again is the most ridiculous thing you've said tonight. What do you know about fighting for something? You don't know how to fight you just know how to complain. Which if you expect to leave this arena with MY World Heavyweight Championship, then you best shape but because this belt isn't suited for little whiny bitches. This title means something, say whatever you want, but it means you've accomplished something great, and I won't, no I refuse to allow you to tarnish what it stands for. You don't define champion, you define coward. Disagree? Prove me wrong tonight, prove all of these people that you have the makings of a champion, because all you've done the last year is give everyone a million reasons as for why you shouldn't represent this company as it's champion.
{Cody Rhodes} You want to call me a coward? The fact is, Ted, I'm more of a man than you could possibly wish to be. While you were running around love struck chasing Maryse, I was out getting business done. I was out defeating nearly a dozen former World Champions. From everyone to Shawn Michaels to John Cena to Edge to Mick Foley to Mark Henry, you name them. I was also out taking matters into my own hands by becoming the Co-Breakdown General Manager and taking matters into MY own hands. Oh, and Ted, I could have so easily given myself a title match any time of the day, but I decided not to. Because unlike you, unlike Edge, and unlike Michael McGillicutty; I don't take the low road out. I am a man of honor and integrity. What exactly can you say about honor, Ted? You're not a very honorable man at all. From the assaults on superstars like the Rock and McGillicutty. From the meaningless title 'defenses' that I talked about before.
{Cody Rhodes} You know that people never change, right Ted? Let me give you an example. I was talking about this man before, and you were too. His name is Edge. This past winter Edge and I had our differences. We were fighting in every different match type from Extreme Rules matches to Tables, Ladder, and Chairs matches. In the midst of all that I exposed Edge for the real kind of man he is. I called him out on his dirty deeds like faking his own retirement last year and to using Mick Foley to launch himself and his giant ego back into the spotlight. Of course, nobody believed me. Nobody ever believes Cody Rhodes! And hey, looks like I was right. After everything I said to him, I was right, and you left you brutalized in this very right on Sunday. Now, Edge is only an example of a man with a shady past. There's another man I know with a dark past, in fact, he's standing right in front of me. His name is Ted DiBiase.
{Cody Rhodes} Let's see Ted. Right now one could say you're at the peak of your career, pandering helplessly to all these fans and your proclaimed 'DiBiase Posse.' Oh, excuse me for a moment. *Cody turns his attention to crowd.* If any of you people actually think you're the reason why I have this World Title match tonight, you're delusional. I didn't get this match because you losers voted me into it, I got this match by doing what I do in this ring night in and night out. Back to my point, I went a little bit off topic. My point being is that right now you're using all these people to launch you to the top of this company. You haven't changed a bit in the past two years. Sure, you can say whatever you want, but just because you say it doesn't mean it's true. You're still the lying, cheating, and egotistical man you were all those years ago. Want to prove how nothing has changed? You went right back to that filthy Maryse as soon as you could. Up until recently your theme song was 'the Million Dollar Man.' Need I say more, Ted?
{Ted DiBiase} If you've ever actually listened to the song you'd see it actually fits me quite well...Especially these nice set of lyrics, now everything is not what he thought, as guilt reaches in for all of his wrong, the profit is worthless when you're alone, the grass isn't greener on this lonely side...he threw it all away. Kinda fits my journey to a tee, don't it? But again you know so much, so I must be wrong, right? Question my character all you like, you're not the first and I guarantee you this, you won't be the last either. I know who I am and what I'm about, you may think you know me, that you've got me all figured out, but what you think and what is are two entirely different things. These people, the same people that have given you a chance of a lifetime here tonight you ungrateful bastard, are the same ones that have supported me night in and night out for the last few years because of who I REALLY AM! They know this isn't an act, it's not a gimmick, it's just a guy that color me surprised actually loves the fans! Shocker right? We've got guys like you coming out here every night insulting them in every single way possible, and yet there are actually people that think differently? No, say it ain't so.
{Ted DiBiase} Nobody ever believes Cody Rhodes? Maybe because you kinda sound like a giant douche every time you open your yapper. Contrary to what you may think, but talking down to everyone and acting as if you're so superior to them is not the way to get your message across.
{Cody Rhodes} Why, thanks for the advice! What, next are you going to give me advice on how to pick up the ladies? Let me give you some advice, Ted. You can pander these people all you want and use them to stay at the top for all I care, I personally I don't care what you do as long as you don't have that title, but if you're going to continue doing what you're doing let me give you some of the 'inside scoop.' These fans are fickle. They'll drop you like a bad habit. That's why I don't bother with them. That's why I'll stand in this ring and preach as I damn well please, and I don't care if they get offended by what I say to them! It's the truth, but I just guess some people can't handle the truth. And while we're speaking of the truth, let me give you some. Ted, when you walk back to your locker room after this you better grasp onto your title and hold it tight, because this right here is one of your final moments as World Heavyweight Champion. You can say whatever you want, but I'm not going to stand here any longer and continue to let you degrade that title. Oh, and almost forgot. Before I leave I just want to......
Suddenly Cody drops the microphone and he slaps Ted right in the face!
{Jerry Lawler} Hey!
{Jim Ross} What a cheap shot! What a damn dirty cheap shot!
Ted holds his cheek before looking up at Cody. He is engulfed in rage and Cody quickly bails from the ring.
{Michael Cole} Run, Cody! That man is a psycho! Run!
{Jim Ross} Oh hey better run! He better be damn sure to run after slapping Ted in the face.
The World Champion yells at Rhodes to come back in the ring, but the number one contender refuses as backs up the ramp.
{Jerry Lawler} Come on, Cody! Put your money where your mouth is!
{Michael Cole} He's not an animal like Ted, Lawler. He'll stick to fighting in the ring like a real man!
{Jim Ross} Oh please.
As Ted remains in the ring, Cody stops on the stage. He stares at Ted and he begins to laugh, only further irritating the champion.
{Jerry Lawler} Look at him! Cody's insane!
{Jim Ross} You're not kidding.
Suddenly, DiBiase runs out of the ring and sprints up the ramp. Cody is shocked, but he wastes no time in heading to back.
{Michael Cole} Oh my god, Cody run! Run!
{Jim Ross} What a coward.
{Michael Cole} Ted is a psycho, JR! Get out of here, Cody!
