*XWL Unforgiven comes back from an advert to be met by the lone sight of Josh Matthews.*

[Josh Matthews] Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Josh Matthews. We've had an action packed night so far tonight and with much more matches yet to come, but I'm standing beside a man who hasn't wrestled in quite some time.. And that man is former two time Intercontinental Champion; Dolph Ziggler alongside Redemption General Manager Vickie Guerrero.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 M9okq

*There is a large reception of boo's for the duo as they stand beside Josh. Dolph stands with an always present smug look on his face while Vickie leans with her left hand on Dolph's arm as she glares at him with a look of admiration, or maybe even more. They have only been seen together in one previous on screen segment when Dolph was initially drafted to Redemption, the two seem to have gotten to know each other over that time.*

[Josh Matthews] Dolph, I...

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 XDSdI

*Dolph raises his hands and interrupts Josh.*

[Dolph Ziggler] Save it, I don't wanna hear it, do us all a favour and just hold the microphone and don't talk. Unless your name is Mean Gene Okerlund you're not worthy to interview someone like me, got it? I can already tell what you're going to ask me, no wait, go ahead, ask me!

[Josh Matthews] I was goi-

[Dolph Ziggler] Didn't I tell you not to talk? Come on man, you have one job to do and you can't do it right? You're on Pay Per View and you're making a fool out of yourself infront of millions! Now, where were we.. Yeah yeah yeah, I know what you're gonna ask me. You were going to ask me why haven't I wrestled since Final Stand, weren't you?

*Josh nods without speaking.*

[Dolph Ziggler] The million dollar question, the one I get asked every day on Twitter and every day whenever a fan approaches me. Before I get into this I just wanna say no, it's not any form of protest for Ted DiBiase being World Champion, although it's a reason I'm glad to be at home for the past while.. You see, when I returned at the end of last year I was on the run of a lifetime. Let's face it, I tore it up each and every night in front of packed crowds who wanted to see one man only and that's ME! On the mic, in the ring, on the streets. I was the total package, and I still am. I scored myself an easy victory over Wade Barrett, I barely broke a sweat and I did all of the work myself and you know that. The almighty Wade Barrett.. at the time.. was unbeatable and who was the man to get that chink in his armour? Dolph Ziggler. But when it came to Final Stand, the single biggest show of the year and possibly one of the biggest shows in XWL's history! And I blew it. I choked, I lost to Joey Ryan. That was such a hard pill to swallow, and speaking of swallowing pills, where's Jeff Hardy been recently? I went into Final Stand with the mindstate that I always have, that I'm going to win. And on a show like that where you just cannot mess up, I did. So I decided to take a step back, reassess things. I needed a new brand, I needed a change of landscape to freshen things up for myself and that's when lady luck came up and gave me a bigger kiss than the one Mickie James laid on me last night.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Qy0Qt

[Dolph Ziggler] I was drafted to Redemption a couple weeks back, it was saving grace. I got off that sinking ship by the name of Breakdown and I was saved. I was in a slump after Final Stand that I couldn't get out of because I was sick of being held back by Mick Foley. I know what you're all thinking, here we go with the Mick Foley hate again! But it's true, the man's a joke. But on Redemption it's a completely different story. Never have I seen a General Manager with such power and a demand for respect that she gets, a General Manager where nobody steps out of line and if they do they face the consequences. Redemption is the right place for me because I know I'm going to get the shot I deserve, with the help of the lovely Vickie Guerrero and her fantastic managerial skills. When you see me back in the ring you will feel it, you will feel the presence of perfection. Over the past couple of weeks Vickie has kindly offered me some time off, some time off to think about what my next move is. I now have a crystal clear idea on what my next move is, and who my target is. And don't hold your breath because that will all be revealed in due time but for now those plans wait in the drawing room.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 YyzII

[Dolph Ziggler] A lot of times in my career I've felt I was at my prime, and I can safely say I'm at my prime now and I plan on staying this way for a very very long time until I am THE man in this brand, hell, the whole company! Because let's face the facts, I have it. And I flaunt it every single night because I can, I'm just that good. I've said this many times and each time I utter it, it gets truer and truer.. I'm so damn sick of being so damn sick. It's hard being this good, but I can keep it up. I've got the best body in this company, the best look in this company, the most talent and charisma in this company. Just LOOK at me! When you look at someone like Dolph Ziggler, you think "CHAMPION!" But when you look at someone like the X-Treme Champion Zack Ryder you just think... chump.. Ryder feeds off the internet fans, I feed off the fans tears. I work harder than anyone in this company to show that I am on my own level, I'm above and beyond everyone in this company from the janitor to the chairman. See, I never get sick of telling you how damn good I am because it's true.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 JE0oU

[Dolph Ziggler] This summer is going to be explosive, and no, it's not because of people like Ted DiBiase and Randy Orton hogging up TV Time for the summer months. This coming summer is going to be my rise, there will be no mistakes, no slip ups, no breaks from the hardest working man in wrestling at all! So while all of you marks in the crowd will sit back and wish you could look like me, talk like me, get chicks like me, earn money like me, wear damn fine clothes like me and have a good life like me... I'm going to live that life. While you're all working away at your crappy jobs I'm going to steal the show every single night making my legacy in this company as big as CM Punk's ego! So Josh, you can sit back with everyone else and wait with bated breath for my return... And one more thing, don't believe the dirt sheets, I'm not fired, whoever writes those crappy newsletters are just looking to get a scoop off the hottest thing in wrestling... I don't blame them.. I would tell you all to enjoy the show but let's face it, the show is already stolen.. Later, Marks.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 WrPOA

*Dolph walks off the screen, Vickie is left standing on the interview set watching Dolph leave.*

[Josh Matthews] Err.. Vickie. What is your relationship with Dolph Ziggler?

[Vickie Guerrero] ...Strictly business..

*Vickie then leaves the scene to catch up with Dolph as we head out to a video package for the man whose hand was nowhere near the ropes, Daniel Bryan!*

[He's here to show the world]

Little random note but loving the cyan colored actions, Dolph cutting off Josh right away is the perfect way to start for the heel. Love the Mean Gene line as it shows just how much of a show off Dolph is, like your not worthy unless your the greatest interviewer ever, right into your first long paragraph the language and mannerisms just seem spot on and perfect to me, like fitting in small disses on Ted being champ and Jeff doing drugs. I also loved the part about being the person to start Wade Barretts downward spiral. Talking about getting off of the sinking ship that is Breakdown was awesome, then talking up Vickie to be a great manager and person as a whole was realistic. Then into the last two paragraphs it's vintage Dolph Ziggler bumming himself, you have me convinced that if he was chocolate he'd eat himself and that speaks volumes for your character, Dolph hyping his return was done very well and has me very anticipated for whatever your return might hold. Vickie's line at the end was also a very nice touch.

Favourite line

Brock Lesnar Vs Triple H

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 YToaT

[Justin Roberts]
This bout is set for one fall. If Triple H is defeated or is unable to compete tonight, he will be fired!

*Brock Lesnar's music begins to play to instant heat from the XWL live audience. Brock makes his way out onto the stage and begins his usual jumping on the spot.*

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 6sJCo

[Justin Roberts]
Introducing first, from Minneapolis, Minnesota... weighing in at 266 lb...
BBROOOOOCCCCKKKKKKK LLEESSSSSSSSSSSNNNNNAAAAAAAARRRR!!!

[Jim Ross]
This one will be a slobber-knocker folks... if Triple H appears that is.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
The last update we had, Triple H was still locked behind bars! How could he possibly be here tonight?

[Michael Cole]
Who cares King? Triple H is where he deserves to be! As we heard Lesnar say earlier, Triple H is nothing more than a coward and a thug! And I completely agree!

[Jim Ross]
Well whatever your opinion of The Game, if he loses tonight, or doesn't show up, he's gone from XWL for good.

*Lesnar begins to make his descent down the long entrance ramp which has been specially built for this PPV. He has a determined yet focused look upon his face.*

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 VGGBR

[Michael Cole]
I'll be happy to see the back of Triple H! He's a violent psychopath!

[Jim Ross]
He's also one of the greatest competitors in the history of this industry. Any time a wrestling company loses someone of Triple H's caliber, it's a huge loss in my book.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Mine too JR. I mean, I may not approve of Triple H's actions at times, but I do understand why he did what he did to Brock. Brock has been inside his head for weeks and has brutally assaulted him on more than one occasion. Triple H's frustrations boiled over and we all saw the results of that.

[Michael Cole]
Yes! He was locked away and that's exactly where he deserves to be! He doesn't belong here in XWL! There are impressionable children in the audience here tonight!

*Lesnar bounces on his feet by the ring apron before leaping up onto it in one swift movement before leaning back all fired up as he usually does. The crowd continue to boo him.*

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Oh, and I'm sure you approve of the foul language used by Brock Lesnar in that video we saw earlier tonight and his own actions in recent weeks?

[Michael Cole]
Of course! Brock Lesnar is awesome! That's all I can say! I see big things in this man's future!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
You're delusional...

*Lesnar removes his shirt and tosses it over the ring ropes. His music stops playing and the fans' jeers can be heard clearer than ever. You suck chants are mixed together with a wide range of boos and obscenities. Some are also chanting for Triple H.*

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 0KYnk

[Justin Roberts]
And his opponent...

*The Triple H chants intensify as Lesnar looks intently at the entrance ramp.*

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 CQA1N

[Michael Cole]
Well we all know Triple H isn't here. Just announce his firing already so the celebrations can begin!

*The crowd continues to chant for Triple H. Some halfheartedly as they know The Game is behind bars...*

*The roof almost comes off the building as the first part of Triple H's music begins to play.*

[Jim Ross]
BAH GAWD! CAN IT BE?! THE GAME! THE GAME! TRIPLE H IS HERE!

[Michael Cole]
WHAT?!?

[Justin Roberts]
And his opponent, from Greenwich, Connecticut... weighing in at 255 lb...
THE GAME, TTTRRRRRRIIPPPPPPLLLLLLLEEEEEEEE HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
OH MY! IT'S ON NOW!

[Jim Ross]
HE'S HERE! HE'S HERE!

*The crowd continues to go nuts as the camera zooms in on the entrance ramp.*

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 IGsKf

*A figure appears at the top of the stage...*

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]

[Michael Cole]
Mr John Laurinaitis! What a joker!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 PHTw3

*The crowd's deafening cheers instantly switch to deafening jeers. This is arguably the loudest they have booed all night as the Executive Vice President Of Talent Relations makes his way down the entrance ramp to The Game's music, waving with a huge cheesy smile on his face.*

[Jim Ross]
This is diabolical! That Laurinaitis is a slimeball!

[Michael Cole]
No JR, that man is a genius! He had every single one of you fooled! You should have seen your faces! You really thought Triple H was here!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Well, you seemed to be in shock too.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Y3Trf

[Michael Cole]
No I knew all along. I was just playing along because Mr Laurinaitis and I had a chat about this earlier today. We're close friends...

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I highly doubt that.

[Jim Ross]
This is just plain wrong. These fans are like rabid dogs right now. Look at their faces! I've never seen a crowd this hostile!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 JRMiW

*Lesnar smirks as Laurinaitis makes his way around the side of the ring to the announcer's table and grabs a microphone.*

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 P9rTt

[John Laurinaitis]
My name, is John Laurinaitis. And I am the Executive Vice President Of Talent Relations.

*The crowd roars in hatred.*

[John Laurinaitis]
Now as you all know, the stipulation of this match, is that if Triple H loses or is unable to compete tonight, he will be fired. So allow me to inform you, that Triple H is NOT here tonight. And he will now be fired.

*The crowd boos as loud as humanly possible.*

[John Laurinaitis]
But Brock, I'm not going to leave you empty handed. No. I'm going to allow you the satisfaction of standing there, while the referee counts to 10 and counts Triple H out before you're officially announced the winner of this match. So ring the bell... And referee... Go right ahead.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 ECGja

*The bell rings and senior referee Charles Robinson begins to count The Game out. Johnny Ace takes a seat to observe the "action".*

1...
[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Really? Is this necessary?

[Michael Cole]
Of course it is King! Brock deserves this! Brock deserves this victory!

But he hasn't even competed!

[Justin Roberts]
Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match as the result of a count out... BROCK LESNAR!

*The crowd roars in a majorly negative way. They can't believe this. Lesnar's music begins to play.*

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 P9rTt

[John Laurinaitis]
Ahem. Excuse me Justin. You seem to be forgetting the best part.

[Justin Roberts]
And by order of Mr John Laurinaitis, as per the stipulation of the match, Triple H's contract has now been terminated!

[John Laurinaitis]
Thank you! And now please, resume Brock's music!

*Laurinaitis begins to applaud Lesnar as though he has just won the World title or accomplished something great.*

[Michael Cole]
Congratulations to Brock Lesnar! What a competitor! And good riddance to Triple H!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
...

[Jim Ross]

Randy Orton Vs The Undertaker

As the familiar theme of the Viper Randy Orton hits the sold out Unforgiven crowd rise to their feet to greet the fan favorite who has had quite the night already, Before long Orton emerges from behind the curtain to an ear bursting pop as he stops on top of the stage, looking more focused than ever....

[Jim Ross]
Ladies and gentlemen this next contest will be as personal as any, there is a whole lot of business to be settled tonight and you've gotta wonder what's running through that man Randy Ortons head right now...

[The King]
Earlier tonight his father was attacked, I wonder if we'll ever find out who did it...

[Cole]
Really? We're gonna sit here and pretend that it wasn't The Undertaker?!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_001

Orton makes his way down the ramp as he takes in the atmosphere, it's PPV time here in XWL and everyone is loving it, signs held high in the air, chants coming in full force and in general everyone is having an amazing time and with an action packed night ahead who could blame them, feuds will be resolved, some may be born, titles could change hands or the champions could retain, leaving victorious once again but if one things for sure, tonight will have a whole lot of surprises...

[The King]
You don't know that it was The Undertaker Cole?

[Cole]
Oh come on! Who else could it be? Randy Orton attacked his brother, father and then the Deadman himself!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_006

Randy Orton takes a deep breathe before climbing up the stairs and into the ring, the booming chants of his name putting the smallest of smiles on his face as he makes his way over to the turnbuckle before bounding up and raising his arms in the air for his signature pose...

[Jim Ross]
Well Randy Orton has a whole lot of enemies Cole...what about Wade Barrett, the man that he punted only a few short weeks ago?

[Cole]
Wade Barrett has the dignity to attack him face to face!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_012

Orton eventually makes his way down from the turnbuckle and grabs a mic from the side of the ring via a show helper, he takes a long look around before raising the mic to his mouth to speak...

[Jim Ross]
It looks like we may find out sooner rather than later.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_017

[Randy Orton]
Before the match begins I'd like to address a certain issue...as you all saw, earlier tonight my dad the great Cowboy Bob Orton came to pay me a visit and in front of the world he doubted my recent choices, my father has always been over protective, like he said. So it didn't bother me that he was worried about the match, he believes in my natural talent and ability but he's afraid of my choices coming back to bite me on the ass, that's what I love about him, he's always been straight forward with me from the get-go, if he doesn't like something? He'll tell me. Surrounding yourself with yes men is useless and he's a smart man, he knows that.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_023

[Randy Orton]
However, only an hour later, my father was attacked and is being rushed to hospital as I speak. Now Undertaker, I know you're a smart man, I'm not stupid enough to underestimate you, I know though that it got under your skin when I gave you a taste of your own medicine by turning out the lights, playing with some pyro, sounding your gongs and leaving a casket at ring side...it bothered you not because it was unpredictable, not because it was annoying but because it was disrespectful. So I was sitting in the cafeteria earlier thinking of ways that you would try and get back to me and it hit me like a freight train, you'd want to give me a taste of my own medicine...and now, you all sit here with the same question on your minds, did The Undertaker attack my dad because I attacked his? What do I say to them?

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_028

[Randy Orton]
It was me who attacked my father! It's my fault that my own flesh and blood is lying in a hospital bed right now and why? It wasn't because he doubted if I could beat The Undertaker, it wasn't because of anything he said, hell, it was nothing personal at all! I was sending a message to you Undertaker! A message that reads: I am a man who has cold blood! I am a man who has a cold heart! But I am not a man who has cold feet! I don't do running away! I don't do fear! I don't do sentiments! If you start a fight with me? I'll end it! If I start a fight with you? I'll end it! There is no place I won't go to get what I want! There is no act that I won't commit to get what I need! The fact of the matter is this, with my father in the building you thought you had ammunition? You thought I had a weakness? Hell, I don't even give a damn if you didn't think that, I showed you that I am a man with no weaknesses! Physically and mentally I am one hundred percent unbreakable!

[Jim Ross]
That rat bastard! He attacked his own father!

[The King]
But...why? I don't get any of this, Orton seems to be too unstable to even compete in this company...

[Cole]
Are you two deaf? He explained his actions perfectly and I think that what he done was smart!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_027

[Randy Orton]
My name is Randy Orton and like it or not you have absolutely nothing on me! Your gong is going to go off, the lights will go out, your theme will play and you'll stroll down this ramp and climb up those stairs before stepping into this ring and looking straight into my cold, uncaring gaze and I promise you there won't be a hint of anything you are predicting, there will be no look of fear! No sign of trepidation! Not an ounce of regret! Nothing! Because I am empty inside and healthy or not that's what makes me untouchable! Ninety percent of your game is making your opponent feel smaller than they really are, but what does the Phenom do when for the first time in his career his opponent is bigger than him? When you stare into the icy abyss deadman I want you to ask yourself a question! If I would put my own father in hospital, the man who raised me, the man who gave me everything he had! Then what am I about to do to you?

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_065

[Jim Ross]
I can't believe this...

[The King]
Randy Orton has gone completely insane!

[Cole]
As we await the arrival of the deadman what are your predictions for this match?

[Jim Ross]
I predict that this one will be an absolute slobberknocker and it won't matter who wins, no one is coming away better off!

[The King]
I've still got to give this match to The Undertaker, Randy Ortons downfall will be his confidence.

[Cole]
Well I think that--

GONG!

[Cole]
AHHH!

The fans in the arena rise to their feet almost instantly as the lights in the arena cut out and a dark mysterious aura fills the air...it's time for the single most legendary entrance in the history of the wrestling business, slow gongs break the tension as the crowd await the phenom...Randy Orton paces back and forth in the ring before ripping his T-shirt off and throwing it out into the crowd...The Viper waits a little longer before finally a shadow appears from the new found smoke on the stage only to be revealed seconds later as none other than The Undertaker himself!

[Jim Ross]
Well here he is folks, this man is the absolute height of this company, he's been everywhere, done everything, there's a reason he is called the Phenom, it's more than just a nickname! The feeling in any arena when he comes out from behind the curtain is enough to send a cold sweat down anyone's back!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 AG8Nk

[The King]
And there goes Randy!

The crowd go absolutely insane as Randy Orton wastes no time at all in waiting for this match up to start as he rolls under the bottom rope and charges up the ramp at full speed before flying into the Undertaker with a big right hand who responds with three of his own and we are underway! Each punch that Randy Orton throws gains a weird mixed reaction from the crowd as his fans are fully behind him but half the arena are cheering for The Undertaker due to Ortons confession only moments ago...Undertaker quickly takes control in the early going of this brawl as he answers every single one of Ortons punches with five or six of his own in a rapid barrage of shots to the stomach and forehead! Orton tries his best to find his way through the Deadmans defense but Taker quickly grabs him by the back of the head and drags him a few feet before throwing him spine first into the titantron set!

[The King]
Ouch! Randy Orton will feel that tomorrow!

[Cole]
Tomorrow? He's feeling it right now you idiot!

Ortons spine rattles off of the set as the crowd pop loudly for this all out fight, Undertaker quickly charges towards Orton and plans to put him through the damn set with a big boot but the ever ready Viper ducks under it causing Taker to drive his foot into the set putting a hole in it! The Phenom tries to pull out but realizes he is trapped! He frantically pulls at his leg but to no avail! A sick smile then slowly spreads across the Apex Predators face....Taker gets a look of pure rage as he does the only thing he can do, throw his guard up! This doesn't stop Orton though who approaches the situation slowly at first by throwing calculated punches to Takers body and head! Next Orton boots Takers free leg causing him to fall and swing into the set almost hanging upside down! Orton drops to his knees and begins to unleash his weeks of rage on a helpless Undertaker! Each shot more deadly than the last as Orton starts to scream out as he lets his frustration out more and more until eventually he is left laughing in the face of The Undertaker...inches away from his face, almost begging him to fight back!
[Jim Ross]
Is this even legal?

[The King]
The Undertaker got himself trapped so...

[Cole]
Look at Randy Orton! How smart is this man! Taking full advantage of the situation!

Taker swipes for Orton but he dodges the shots with ease...Orton smirks before standing back up to his feet, he turns his back on the Undertaker and slowly heads towards the ramp before all of a sudden spinning round and charging full steam ahead towards the Deadman and nails him with a knee to the face! Driving his head into the set and freeing him at the same time as the Undertaker falls down hard onto the steel stage! Orton gets grabs Taker by the hair and drags him to his feet before nailing him with yet another hard shot to the jaw causing Taker to stumble towards the ramp...Orton tries to capitalize on the opportunity as he runs towards the veteran who see's him coming and literally throws Orton up into the air over his head and what goes up definitely comes down with a sickening crash onto the ramp!

[Jim Ross]
This is one hell of a brawl!

[Cole]
The bell hasn't even rung...

The crowd pop loudly as Orton tries to scurry down the ramp while in a seated position but Taker runs towards him and boots him hard on the face causing him to do a backwards roll down the ramp! The pissed off Taker then picks Orton up via the head and the trunks before running him down the ramp and launches him shoulder first into the steel steps! Orton bounces off the steps and hits the floor below hard but the Undertaker doesn't let up as he picks up The Apex Predator once again and this time careens him head first into the corner of the barricade before following it up with a flurry of stomps to the mid section! Orton rolls out of the way and stumbles around the ring flustered until he stops at the commentary table for a breather but unfortunately for him the demon of death valley is right behind him as he grabs Orton by the head and slams his head down on the table!

[Cole]
LOOKOUT!

[Jim Ross]
This match is intense!

[The King]
How far will these men go if this is only the beginning?

[Cole]
They've already went too far! They spilled my water!

Taker follows up his attack by nailing Orton in the gut with a huge knee! Then a big uppercut to his jaw! Spit flies out of Randys mouth as he stumbles over to the corner next to the barricade...Taker gets a massive cheer as he runs towards Orton full steam but The Apex Predator see's it coming and launches Taker over his head and flipping into the crowd! Orton takes a moment to catch his breathe before reaching across the barricade and grabbing Undertaker by the hair, literally dragging him back over the steel...With the Deadman in place Orton goes for his signature barricade hung DDT! But no! the Phenom scouts it and hops off of the barricade before spearing Randy Orton into the ring post as his spine can almost be heard breaking in the cheap seats!

[Jim Ross]
By god!

[The King]
I can tell you right now first hand...that hurts!

Orton cries out in pain but grits his teeth as The Undertaker gears up for yet another spear, he charges forward and flies towards Orton yet again but this time the Viper rolls to the side and Taker slams into the steel ring post shoulder first! He slides down onto two knee's and leans against the post but Orton doesn't let him rest as he begins to kick Takers arm into the post crushing his elbow against the steel! Orton the grabs Taker by the head and the pants before spinning him around and rolling him into the ring! Orton elbows him sharp on the forehead seven times before sliding him in and following in after him!

[Jim Ross]
The action is finally making it's way to the ring!

And the bell rings.

[The King]
And here we go!

Orton sneers and snarls while kicking the downed Undertaker! Getting noticeably angrier as each second passes before Orton finally drops to the mat, pounding the canvas with a determined rage filled look in his eyes as he stalks the Deadman! The crowd are absolutely buzzing with anticipation as Randy Orton goes to that place in his head where only he can go, he's ready to end this and beat the Undertaker! Taker starts to slowly stir as the crowd cheer him on to get up, he finally gets onto one knee but eventually stands on both feet, with a booming atmosphere he spins around slowly and without a moments notice the Viper pounces with malicious intent! He goes for the RK---NO! Taker uses his insane strength to hold Orton up in the air before running over to to ropes and throwing him over the top as he crashes out to the floor below!

[Jim Ross]
OH MY GOD!

[The King]
This match has gotten out of control..and quick!

[Cole]
We've gotta get some EMT's down here!

[Jim Ross]
Let's not overreact, he's already making his way to his feet....

[The King]
Yes but look at The Undertaker!

As Randy Orton stirs up onto his feet the crowd also raise to their feet because in the ring The Undertaker gets a plan as he runs off of the ropes closest to the commentators and runs full steam ahead towards the stage side ropes before jumping and flying through the air! For a big man he almost floats through the sky majestically but it's all the calm before the storm as seconds later he comes barreling down onto Randy Orton taking both men out completely! The crowd begin a loud, "Holy shit!" chant which they shout over and over as both Randy Orton and the Undertaker show how determined they are as they are already groggy and on their hands and knee's searching for a way up...

][Jim Ross]
The Undertaker just took a huge risk!

[The King]
And it paid off!

[Cole]
Did it really? Did anyone really come off any better for that move?

[Jim Ross]
For once, Cole has a point.

[The King]
As much as I hate to agree...he's probably right.

[Cole]
Will you please stop talking about me like I'm not here?

[The King]
Did you hear something JR?

[Cole]
........

Both men get back to their feet and begin to trade hard shots back and forth with no signs of stopping until Orton takes a huge punch to the face and stumbles backwards, he shakes off the cobwebs and runs towards Taker who meets him with a big boot! Orton looks damn near knocked out from that boot and The Undertaker shows no signs of stopping as he picks Randy up via the neck and throws him into the ring while spinning him around so that his upper body is hanging out of he ring, Taker takes to the apron and the crowd pop as he goes for his signature apron leg drop but the Viper rolls back into the ring as Taker crashes onto the apron and it sends a shock wave up his spine! Randy Orton however is pissed and it's time for him to go on the offensive as he leans through the middle rope and grabs the phenom by the hair pulling him through as the crowd is abuzz, Orton smirks before nailing him with a sadistic rope hung DDT!

[Jim Ross]
Orton's getting all fired up!

Orton kicks Taker square across the jaw before once again picking him up to his feet and punching him hard across the temple! Orton then grabs Taker by the arm and Irish Whips him hard into the ropes, when the Undertaker comes back Orton hits the ground as Taker hops over him but once the Deadman returns off of the ropes once more he is met with a huge dropkick to the mouth! Orton goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

NO! Taker kicks out! Orton looks miffed as he gets back to his feet before dragging The Undertaker with him, he forces the Phenom into the corner before striking him across the face multiple times and booting him sharp in the gut followed by five chops to his chest! Orton scoops Taker up to the top turnbuckle before standing up on the second rope...

[Jim Ross]
Ortons going up!

[The King]
It looks like he has a superplex in mind!

Orton hooks Takers arm over his head but as he tries to lift he notices that Undertaker is holding onto the top rope, Orton looks frustrated but when he tries to free Takers hand he is instead met with a few punches to his ribs, knocking him off balance! Taker then uses both hands to shove Orton off the turnbuckle and crashing to the mat! Randy Orton gets up slowly giving the Undertaker time to stand up on the top rope, Orton gets to his feet and spins around only to get hit with a huge flying clothesline! Taker goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

NO! Orton kicks out!

[The King]
Oh, so close!

Taker gets up before grabbing Orton by the back of the neck and throwing him into the turnbuckle before unloading on him with a flurry of punches to the jaw, ribs and anywhere else he can land some! Orton scurries out of the corner and tries to get away but Taker keeps on him, nailing him every step of the way with a new punch harder than the last! Orton drops to one knee as Taker grabs his left arm and spins around twisting it out of shape! Orton yelps in pain as the Undertaker elbows his arm harshly! The Phenom then makes his way over to the corner planning to go for his signature old school move! Taker backs into the turnbuckle before slowly climbing up and keeping his balance while walking along the top rope, he jumps off of the top and flies through the air but out of desperation Orton pulls him in closer and spins himself and Taker around and catching him in mid air while planting him with a powerslam!

[Jim Ross]
Oh my god! What a maneuver

[Cole]
Cover him!

Orton goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

TH--NO! The Undertaker somehow kicks out! Orton looks absolutely livid as he rolls off of the Deadman and sits in the upright position looking like he's ready to blow a gasket! He turns back around and with the most deranged look on his face actually begins to wrap his hands around The Undertakers throat and strangle him! The referee looks like he doesn't have a clue what to do or if this is even legal but he starts count!

ONE!

[Jim Ross]
This has gone too far!

TWO!

[Jim Ross]
Stop it Randy!

THREE!

[The King]
This is hard to watch! The Undertaker is losing consciousness!

FOUR!

[Cole]
Who would have thought it would end like this!

FI--NO! The Undertaker quickly swings his legs up and wraps them around Randy Ortons head while pulling one of his arms down! He's done it! The Undertaker has locked in the Hells Gate! Orton swins his free arm around frantically! Swinging shots at Taker but it's useless! He's stuck in the middle of the ring! Orton tries to get onto his knee's as he musters up every last bit of strength he can, he tries to lift the Deadman up off of the ground but to no avail, his energy is slowly fading...he doesn't know what he can do...his body starts to go a lifeless as he falls to the mat...drained.

[Jim Ross]
Orton's not moving! Orton's not moving!

[The King]
The Undertaker has this won!

[Cole]
Randy let his rage get the better of him but that coward The Undertaker played possum!

[Jim Ross]
Possum? Orton was strangling him!

[The King]
Yeah! How stupid can you be Cole?

[Cole]
WAIT! Ortons moving!

[Jim Ross]
He's right!

Orton slowly wriggles his body backwards towards the commentators table as he starts to drag the Undertaker along the mat with him? The crowd watch on, unsure of what is happening but Ortons plan soon becomes aparant as he slides under the bottom rope and out to the floor below, dragging the Undertaker with him! Randy Orton let's out one last burst of strength and pulls Taker out of the ring with him and brings him right down slamming him to the thinly padded floor causing the Phenom to release the hold as Orton rolls off of him in exhaustion!

[Jim Ross]
This isn't a match! This isn't a wrestling contest this is a fight! Plain and simple, this won't stop until one of these men can't move.

[The King]
That's exactly what Orton wanted, I wonder if he's changed his mind?

[Cole]
Of course he hasn't! The Undertaker acted out of desperation and Orton took care of him in a great, innovative way.

[Jim Ross]
I'll give you that, Orton's escape was definitely unique.

[The King]
How are these men even moving let alone getting back up?

Kings right, both Randy Orton and The Undertaker are using opposite ends of the commentary table to pull himself up to his feet, they get up and their eyes meet across the table and Taker gets a sheer look of anger on his face, looking ready to rip Ortons head off, Orton on the other hand? He's smiling! He lets out a laugh before running around the table and flying on top of Taker with a Lou Thez press, intent on punching the life out of the Phenom! The crowd don't know how their supposed to react but they are loving this all out war as Taker shoves The Apex Predator off of him, both men rise to their feet and Taker runs towards before punching him in the face and grabbing him by the head, rolling him into the ring...

Taker takes a short breather but climbs up onto the apron and steps in between the middle rope and enters the ring...Orton is rising up to his feet but The Undertaker helps him up via grabbing his arm and trying to go for an Irish Whip! But Orton spins around and reverses it with an Irish Whip of his own! Taker fires off of the ropes and comes back to find a ducking Orton who's plan backfires as the Undertaker flies towards him and nails a running DDT! Orton's head bounces off of the mat as the Deadman goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

NO! Kickout! Somehow Randy Orton pulls his shoulder off of the mat! Taker arises and gains a huge reaction from the fans as he lifts his arm into the air, waving his fingers as he goes for his trademark chokeslam! Orton stumbles to his feet and clambers off of the ropes and turns around only to have a giant hand wrapped around his throat! The Undertaker lifts Orton high into the air but much like against his brother Kane Orton spins around in mid air and goes for the RKO but the Undertaker shows his experience by shoving Orton off of him! The Viper stands up and turns on his heel charging at Taker who scoops him up onto his shoulder intent on hitting his Tombstone, Orton however has other ideas as he wriggles off of Takers shoulders, pulling his head down with him and turning his own back to the Phenoms before hitting his signature back breaker!

[Jim Ross]
What an amazing sequence!

[The King]
Great thinking from the 3rd generation superstar!

Once again Orton rolls over onto his stomach and begins to pound the mat with great anger and intensity, he looks completely pissed and ready to put the Undertaker away for good, Orton rises to his feet and stomps the canvas shaking his arms, almost twitching with excitement, waiting, stalking his prey, eventually The Undertaker gets up and turns around into the face of the Viper only to be nailed with a venomous...

RKO!

[Jim Ross]
He got it!

[The King]
Go for the cover!

Orton goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

THR--NO! The Undertaker finds a way out!

[Jim Ross]
Wow! The Undertaker get's his shoulder up!

[The King]
Randy Orton looks livid!

[Cole]
This match can't have long left, both of these men look spent...

Orton grabs Taker by the hair, digging his fingers into his head, pulling him up to his knee's...screaming in his face, "You're finished Taker!" he pulls the Deadman all the way up to his feet and goes for yet another RKO but Taker spins him around and grabs him by the throat! He lifts the Viper high into the air and goes for the chokeslam! Ortons spine almost breaks in half as it collides with the mat from that HUGE chokeslam! Taker goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

THR--NO! Randy Orton kicks out!

[Jim Ross]
He kicks out!

Pissed, the Undertaker capitalizes by picking him up right away, he then quickly grabs Orton by the head and waist and launches him into the turnbuckle post shoulder first! Orton slowly emerges from the turnbuckle and turns straight into a big boot!, the Undertaker starts to stalk Orton for yet another Chokeslam, as Orton slowly gets to his feet still stunned from the big boot Taker clutches his hand around Ortons throat to hit the move but Randy is two steps ahead and elbows him on the back of the head for an escape and runs off the ropes to attack but when he reaches Taker he is laid out with a HUGE sidewalk slam! The Undertaker realizes Orton is lying motionless in the very middle of the ring and the whole arena erupts with cheers as they start to see whats coming next, The Undertaker performs his cut throat taunt as the arena explodes and Orton stumbles to his feet only to be hoisted up onto Takers shoulder upside down!

[The King]
He's going for the Tombstone!

TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!

The Undertaker goes for the cover...

[Jim Ross]
This is it folks...nobody kicks out of the Tombstone!

[The King]
It's over...

ONE!

TWO!

THRE--NO! At the very last second Randy Orton kicks out! The Undertaker looks pissed as hell, what does he have to do to cut the head off of the Viper?

[Jim Ross]
I can't believe it! He's kicked out of the tombstone piledriver! Oh my god!

[The King]
Randy Orton really wants this!

[Jim Ross]
This is unbelievable!

[Cole]
There is just no give up in the Viper!

[Jim Ross]
How far can he go?

[The King]
Looks like The Undertaker has the same question in mind!

King's right as back in the ring the Undertaker has taken off both of his shoulder straps as he stares down at Orton before performing his signature cut throat taunt! The end is near as the Undertaker grabs Randy Orton by the head and pulls him up onto his jelly like legs, Orton stares into the eyes of death before doing perhaps the most stupid thing in his career and slapping the Phenom full force across the face in the ultimate act of disrespect! The Undertaker spins his head back around almost instantly before growling at the third generation superstar and hoisting him up onto his shoulders! The Undertaker is ready to hit his finishing maneuver for the second time in this match......But Randy Orton slithers out of his grasp and almost forward rolls free, he hops to his feet instantly as he see's the Deadman charging at him and....

RKO!

[Cole]
OUT OF NOWHERE!

[The King]
WOW!

Orton goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

THR--NO! The Undertaker kicks out yet again! Randy Orton bounces up onto his feet instantly in a fit of rage! How can he kill a man that is already dead? Thoughts face through his mind as he tunes into that psychotic part of his mind once again! Orton looks down at the motionless Undertaker and grabs him by a chunk of his long hair before slowly dragging him up to his knee's and then onto his feet! Orton looks into the face of the Phenom before screaming "It's over!" Orton goes for the RKO! NO! Taker shoves him off as Orton lands on his feet and spins back around only for Taker to scoop him up into the tombstone position yet again but in a shocking turn of events Orton uses the momentum to throw himself completely over Takers shoulder and lands on his feet turning The Undertaker upside down into his very own tombstone! Orton lets out a huge battle cry before driving Takers head down into the canvas with a....

TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!

[Jim Ross]
Oh my god! Randy Orton with a tombstone piledriver!

[The King]
I can't believe that! That was amazing!

[Cole]
How did he do that?!

He goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

THRE-NO! THE UNDERTAKER KICKS OUT YET AGAIN!

[Jim Ross]
HOW THE?

[The King]
WOW!

[Cole]
I-I-I...How did he kick out?!

Orton is absolutely livid! He bounces to his feet yet again and looks down at Taker in absolute disgust, what does he have to do? Is there anything he can do? He's tried absolutely everything in his arsenal...or has he? Ortons unprecedented anger slowly turns into a sick, sadistic smile as he notices the Undertaker is lying down out cold almost near the corner of the ring, Orton grunts and heaves as he backs into the opposite corner! Stamping his feet and shaking his body, almost foaming from the mouth as he sends himself to a place that no man should ever go...deep into the back of his mind where there are no rules, no regulations, nothing but a desire to survive, the instinct to win!

[Jim Ross]
No Randy! Don't do it!

[The King]
We've seen Randy do this before to numerous opponents!

[Cole]
This is the reason he beat Davey Richards, it's the reason both Paul Bearer and former World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett are in hospital! He's doing what he needs to in order to win!

[Jim Ross]
But this is too damn far!

[The King]
He's gonna try end the Undertakers career!

But too the shock of everyone in the arena, just as Randy Orton takes three steps out of the corner...

The Undertaker sits up! The Deadman sends the place into a frenzy as he stares a hole in Randy Orton who can be seen shaking his head in disbelief, "no...No...NO!" Screams the Viper as he quickly exits the ring and walks around the the time keepers area as he throws the time keeper off of his chair before folding it up and sliding into the ring with it! The Undertaker rises to his feet when he see's this happen but by the time he's standing it's too late as the entire arena gasp in unison with the bell ringing for disqualification as Randy Orton nails the Undertaker across the skull with a steel chair!

Winner via disqualification: XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 MWykX

[Jim Ross]
WHY!

[The King]
Not like this!

[Cole]
He promised he was going to destroy the Undertaker!

[Jim Ross]
But why? Why not do it like a man!

[The King]
I never thought we'd see Orton get this desperate!

[Jim Ross]
He's going insane!

[The King]
It doesn't look like this is over...

Back in the ring the sound of the bell seems to have sent Randy over the edge as he lifts the chair high into the air once more and brings it down driving it into the ribs, back and skull of Taker over and over with all of his energy, each shot gaining a louder gasp from the crowd as an eerie silence falls over the arena, Orton is going absolutely hell for leather with the chair shots until finally security and EMT's rush down to the ring, pouring down the ramp, the first four into the ring are greeted with brutal chair shots from Randy Orton who has blown a gasket, veins are almost bursting from his forehead as he spins around again and nails Taker across the head before finally being tackled to the floor by around ten security guards!

[Jim Ross]
Randy Orton is trying to kill the Undertaker!

[The King]
What in the name of god has gotten into this man?!

Security finally manage to get Orton out of the ring as the drag him under the bottom rope and carry him up in the air up the ramp as he wriggles and tries to get free like a man possessed but to no avail, the EMT's and referee's finally pour into the ring to check on The Undertaker as the crowd fall silent, watching the Deadman being placed onto a stretcher...The Undertaker has won the battle, but it seem's like the war is far from over, what will happen next in this heated rivalry? Only time will tell...

The crowd begin to cheer as AJ’s theme hits the P.A. After a few moments AJ rushes out onto the stage and performs his signature taunt, throwing his hood down as the pyro hits. As he heads down the stage he begins to touch hands with nearby fans at ringside. He quickly jumps into the ring through the second rope and heads to the top rope as the fans begin to cheer and a few AJ chants begin to start around the arena...

The cheers from AJ die down into boos as AJ is shown staring onto the stage awaiting the man who tried to take him out a few weeks ago. After a moment Joey comes out onto the stage with his arms out acting as cocky as ever. He comes down to the ring in a scarf and sunglasses with the XWL 15 title nowhere to be seen. As he goes down the stage he looks on at the fans who are now booing him. He doesn’t care as he brushes his moustache down with his fingers. He jumps on the edge of the ring before going through the ropes and sitting on the top turnbuckle placing his feet on the ropes seeming very relaxed. He throws his scarf and sunglasses off into the crowd. The ref approaches and asks for the XWL 15 title. Joey puts his hands down his pants and gets out the medal before handing it to the ref who keeps it at arms length. The ref then checks that both men are ready before notifying the bellkeeper to ring the bell…

15 MINUTES LEFT

Both men are staring at each other across the ring as the ref looks at both men and checks to see if they are ready. Joey smirks as AJ just keeps a straight face and continues to stare at Joey. The ref rings the bell and instantly AJ rushes over to Joey, Joey puts his body in between the ropes forcing the referee to come and break the hold. He begins to laugh to himself as there is nothing AJ can do to stop this and when AJ breaks the ref’s grasp and tries again Joey quickly gets under the top rope. The crowd begin to boo as Joey just laughs. AJ seems to look frustrated as the ref tries to calm him down. Eventually Joey gets away from the ropes and both men begin to circle around the ring for a few seconds before eventually coming into the centre and meeting with a lock up. Both men seem to be equally matched and both break the hold. They go in for another lock up and both men again are equally matches and both men break the hold. Joey then raises his arms signalling for a test of strength, AJ agrees and slowly raises both of his arms up wearily. Just as AJ is about to connect and perform the test of strength Joey kicks him straight in the gut. He then runs off the ropes to give him momentum before…ARM DRAG! AJ reverses the move with a huge arm drag as both men quickly get up. This time AJ runs at Joey, before AJ can do anything Joey connects with an arm drag of his own very similar to the one hit by AJ. Quickly both men get to their feet with their backs turned from each other and as they turn Joey and AJ both attempt drop kicks hitting each others feet before dropping to the mat and staring at each other. The crowd begin to clap and applaud that little bit of wrestling.

Both men slowly begin to circle the ring once again as Joey quickly rubs his moustache laughing at AJ. After a few moments both men once again attempt to go in for a lock up but before AJ can do it fairly Joey delivers a kick to the gut knocking him down. He laughs and slaps AJ on the back of the head taunting him. Joey attempts another one but AJ blocks it by quickly taking down Joey. The crowd are right behind AJ as he begins to deliver a series of punches to Joey without a response. Joey tries to struggle and block the punches but AJ seems to be on a rampage. Joey eventually manages to wriggle upwards and clinch his hand on the bottom rope and the referee is forced to break AJ from the hold. As AJ lets up and is taken a few paces away by the ref, Joey rolls out of the ring and leans on the barricade to get some rest. Some fans begin to shout abuse whereas others just seem to try and touch him. Joey dosen’t even seem to notice them as he holds his head. AJ dosen’t look like he wants to end the attack to easily though and bounces off the ropes and dives over the top ropes executing a beautiful senton. Joey looks up and notices AJ falling down and cannot do anything. AJ hits it perfectly and both men fall to the ground. Joey seems to hold his head in pain as AJ slowly gets to his feet before taunting in which the fans start to cheer and really get behind him.

AJ walks over to Joey who is laid against the barricade and begins to punch Joey continuously. Joey takes the shots with no response and AJ begins to manhandle the XWL 15 champion. AJ throws Joey into the ring who seems to be almost lifeless as he looks around and points to the top rope maybe indicating a styles clash. The fans begin to get even more excited as AJ slowly goes out of the ring and walks along towards the corner but before he can he notices Joey is slowly getting to his feet. He pushes the ref away as he tried to help him up and AJ tries to seize the opportunity and stays near the ropes. He jumps onto the top rope as Joey slowly turns around and dives towards him. AJ hits a huge clothesline knocking Joey down. AJ really begins to feel the momentum now and signals for Joey to get to his feet. It takes a few moments but Joey does so with the aid of the ropes. As he gets up he is unaware of what is going on and as he turns around AJ kicks him swiftly in the gut and locks him in position for the styles clash. He waits for a second as the ref is stood behind AJ before suddenly AJ drops Joey and connects with the styles clash. He quickly heads over and goes for the pin…

The crowd go wild as AJ picks up the first fall and now AJ seems to be in the drivers seat. He looks confident as he walks over and leans against the opposite turnbuckle waiting for Joey to get up.

10 MINUTES LEFT

Joey is now back on his feet and seems to gain control from the lock up. He quickly tries to make up for time lost and to get the scores back even by throwing AJ over him hitting a huge modified gutwrench suplex. He looks around and taunts to the crowd feeling his body as AJ is shown clutching his back after landing awkwardly on that move. Joey mounts AJ and suddenly begins to return the blows which were dealt at the start of the match but this time AJ seems to be able to block most of the blows with his forearms and manages to squirm out far enough to be able to use his legs to knock Joey on his back. Both men kip up and get in a fighting stance and the crowd begin to cheer as both seem eager to fight. Joey runs at AJ to go in for a lock up but AJ drops down and picks up Joey’s legs knocking him onto the mat and begins to deliever shot after shot as both men are now rolling around the ring dealing shot after shot on each other. AJ seems to get the offence and gets to his feet first. He runs at Joey and hits a huge dropkick knocking Joey into the corner. AJ then backs up to the opposite corner and looks to be hitting a huge splash and charges at Joey. At the last second Joey is able to drop down and away from the corner causing AJ to hit the turnbuckle with his head. As he is staggering he turns around…SUPERKICK from Joey Ryan! AJ is hit so hard he falls out of the ring through the second rope. Joey looks on in disbelief as a lifeless AJ lays on the outside. Joey rushes out and tries to push AJ back into the ring with all of his strength and after a few moments manages to do so. He quickly goes for the cover on AJ…

NO! AJ gets his foot on the bottom rope. Joey looks on in anger and complains to the referee that that count should have been a 3 but the ref stands adamant by his decision. Joey pushes the ref and begins to shout and complain. The ref stands up and gets in the face of Joey telling him that it was just a two count. Joey continues to complain and suddenly AJ rolls him up as the crowd go wild…

1….

2….

NO! Joey manages to break the count. Both men are quickly to their feet. Joey gets to his feet first and as he attempts for the super kick. AJ seems to be unaware but he must have noticed as he quickly ducks under. Joey misses the kick and goes forward only to turn into a super kick from AJ. The crowd are really behind AJ at this point as he quickly goes for another pin…

2….

NO! Joey gets his foot on the ropes as AJ looks a little frustrated as he slams his hands on the mat. Joey seems a little dazed as he rolls out of the ring to get a few seconds to breathe and relax as the ref moves AJ to the far side of the ring.

5 MINUTES LEFT

Joey snatches a drink from a man in the audience and drinks some of the water before pouring it over himself. He slides back into the ring slowly but AJ is not giving him a minute to relax and quickly comes over to attack Joey. He rushes over but is met with a huge arm drag flipping AJ over. Joey kips up and picks up a drowsy AJ before locking in a Exploder suplex for a few moments and then quickly executing the move sending AJ flying across the ring. AJ lands near the ropes which Joey uses to his advantage and begins to choke AJ. The match has no DQ’s so the ref is unable to stop this. Joey dosen’t seem to look like stopping and AJ looks to be in a serious condition as the ref pulls Joey away. Joey dosen’t want to give up so easy and quickly locks in the end scene. A submission which he debuted on Davey Richards last month. After the recent choke the applied pressure to the neck seems to hurt AJ and the camera zooms in to show him going red in the face. He tries to kick and squirm and manages to get a foot on the ropes. The ref notices this and tries to break the hold. Reluctantly Joey breaks the hold but picks up AJ and delievers a stern kick to the gut knocking him down to one knee. He places him in between his knees and picks up both of his arms looking to his the pedigree. He looks around and with one hand licks two fingers before rubbing his goatee. He then jumps in the air and lands the pedigree perfectly. AJ seems to be out as Joey quickly goes for the cover.

Joey gets the pinfall! The crowd begin to boo as Joey raises to his feet. The ref checks on AJ as Joey goes over to the turnbuckle and sits upon it resting his feet on the top rope.

The ref checks on AJ as it takes a while for him to get to his feet. Joey seems to be getting bored and gestures a fake yawn to the fans who show him no respect.

1 MINUTE LEFT

AJ is still holding his neck feeling the effects of Joey Ryan as Joey seems to be prepared for a fight. Both men begin to lock up in the ring and both seem to keep getting the advantage with multiple times where one man would be backed up in a corner before dominating the other and pushing the other man away. The match has taken a lot out of both men and both men seem to be feeling the effects of this match. Both men begin to deliver slow strong blows with the crowd cheering for each blow AJ hits and booing for the shots struck by Joey. AJ seems to get a second wind as he pushes on and strikes Joey with no response and pushes him to the ropes. He then irish whips Joey into the other ropes before hitting a huge dropkick. AJ kips up as Joey is straight up and runs at AJ only to be countered into a arm drag. Joey gets up quickly again only to be hit with another arm drag. The crowd are really behind AJ as the timer begins to go down…

30 SECONDS LEFT

AJ picks up Joey and irish whips him into the corner again and once again walks up to the opposite corner attempting to hit the huge splash. Joey who has his back to the ring and is facing the corner begins to slowly take the turnbuckle pad off which AJ is unaware off. He throws it out of the ring and notices AJ in the corner of his eye. He ducks and manages to get out at the last second as AJ comes into contact with the metal corner in the eye which knocks him dazed. AJ turns around into Joey Ryan who connects with a huge superkick. Both men fall to the ground as Joey tries to get his breath while AJ seems to be out cold.

10 SECONDS LEFT

Joey looks at the board to see the timer going down as he crawls over to a lifeless AJ Styles. The crowd look on in horror not wanting to see Joey retain the title. The ref begins to count down in the ring to inform the superstars.

The ref finishes counting as the buzzer goes off indicating the end of the match. Joey has won and the crowd are not pleased. They begin too boo the sleazy superstar and show a lot of disrespect as he just lays in the ring trying to get his breath. The ref goes out and collects the XWL 15 Medal and hands it to Joey who puts it around his neck as the ref kneels down to help him up. Both men are exhausted and clearly gave it their all as the camera fades out to a video package for Davey Richards as ringside workers come to the ring to help both of these men to get out and up the ramp.

As Rowdy Roddy Pipers theme hit’s the fans seem surprised before jumping to their feet and beginning to cheer for the legend himself. The camera goes over to the ring which is all set out for another segment of pipers pit.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 ORLbd

Jim Ross
Well folks it’s certainly a surprise to see the legend Roddy Piper here in XWL. None of us knew he was coming but he certainly looks happy to be getting a warm reaction from all of these fans. We have had some great matches tonight at Unforgiven but it always is a little something different when the Hot Rod comes back! Don’t you agree King?

Jerry “The King” Lawler
I know what you mean JR, just look at all these fans, young and old they all love and respect the piper! Judging by the ring I’m guessing were going to see another episode of pipers pit! I can’t wait to see who’s the guest this time.

Jim Ross
The last time we saw Roddy Piper was months ago where Randy Orton and Christian were guests on the show. I wonder who he wants to have on this time. Looks like we are going to find out soon enough.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Knwfp

Roddy Piper makes his way down the ramp smiling and touching hands with fans in the front row on his way down. He walks around the ring and up the steel steps before entering the ring through the second rope. He grabs a mic off one of the chairs before turning to face the camera’s.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 A7y0t

”Rowdy” Roddy Piper
Well I bet this is a surprise right? The legend himself Rowdy Roddy Piper in an XWL ring once again! The last time I was in this ring was months ago where we saw “The Viper” Randy Orton and Christian! Both of them were involved in what was a controversial talkshow and one I was damn proud off. That was my first pipers pit in XWL and tonight I am back because I just had to do another one. Now I have another exciting show lined up in what can only be described as the greatest talk show in the history of sports entertainment! Better than the cutting edge, better than the highlight reel and much…much better than the peep show. Because you see show’s like that come and go but one thing that will stay the same is that piper’s pit will keep on going ‘til the day I die.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 VNDKL

”Rowdy” Roddy Piper
This is the most controversial show and tonight will be like no other. The guests I have selected are two men who hate each other and two men who would like nothing more than to rip each other apart. I will be getting the answers what the people want. I will be causing chaos and you can guarantee that these chairs will be getting thrown around later or being used to smack someone else across the head because with the way I do things, people tend to get a little heated. People tend to get a little angry at one another and don’t quite like it when facts get blown up and the whole subject begins to get controversial. Now in just a moment I will bring out my first guest but first I would just like to say tha-

Before he can finish his sentence he is stopped by Drew McIntyre’s theme hitting the P.A. The crowd don’t give much of a reaction too Drew as he makes his way onto the stage.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 80nIS
XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 VFskA

He looks around with a cocky smirk before walking down to the ring. The camera fades to the ring where Roddy Piper is stood in the ring confused by Drew coming to the ring and by the look on his face Drew is not one of the men who he had planned to have on the show.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 WbElC

Drew McIntyre
I hope you don’t mind Roddy but I just had to come out here and stop his hideous display from a man who shouldn’t even be out here and is wasting my valuable air time. I am the future of this company and if management feel the need to give people like you time in the ring to do whatever the hell you like and ignore talent like myself then god help us all because this is an absolute blasphemy. I am not going to be overlooked and especially by someone such as yourself. Your wrestling days are over and have been for a long time. You have no need to keep coming back and causing “controversy” or however you put it because I do that each and every week when I am in this ring wrestling.

”Rowdy” Roddy Piper
Who the hell do you think you are punk? Nobody comes out and disrespects Roddy Piper and nobody comes out here and interrupts pipers pit. I’ve been watching XWL for months now and I’ve never even heard of you. What’s your name again kid?

Drew McIntyre
My name is Drew McIntyre and I suggest you start showing me a little respect.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 AHAOK

”Rowdy” Roddy Piper
You want respect? You just expect me to give you respect? Hell no! I earned all my respect around here by being one of the most controversial, one of the most dangerous and one of the most successful superstars the WWE ever saw! I am a living legend and I am the man who famously created pipers pit which will undoubtedly go down in history as the greatest talk show of all time and what have you got to go for yourself huh kid? A few wins here or there, a hell of a lot of losses and you’ve never had a title to your name. In XWL you are the lowest of the low and you think I am going to give you respect? It’s not given around here or any other company. Respect is earned.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 GcNVi

Drew McIntyre
That’s funny coming from you. How many fans do you have over in Scotland? Back when I was just a lad training to be a WWE superstar you was one of the most talked about superstars in my village. With that being said it was because you was Scottish and you were doing our country proud. You was like a role model to a lot of us children and you were a damn good wrestler. But one problem, one little problem is that you lied didn’t you Roddy? I’ve done my research and I’ve looked at the facts. You are not even Scottish are you? The Kilt, the music, the heritage it’s all lies isn’t it. You’re actually Canadian. That is pathetic and quite honestly I feel sorry for you. I pity you Roddy, I really do. I am a true Scotsman and I have come over to America to make a name for myself and to do my country proud. I am not going to change to do that.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 58EN0

”Rowdy” Roddy Piper
Why you son of a-. You’re right, I was born in Canada but I have family who were true Scots and they are the people who I believe gave me the heritage to come out to the bagpipes and to wear this kilt. I am proud to have Scottish blood running through my veigns and I am not going to be shown up by a young punk who is just looking for a fight. What is your problem interrupting this show anyway?

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 JveDZ

Drew McIntyre
Oh Roddy, I actually feel for you, I really do. You must have reached new lows in your life to try to live like your family. You are supposed to be an individual but instead you just like to follow the crowd and try to trick a whole nation into thinking you are a Scottish hero. But you’re not a hero are you? Let’s not lie to all of these fans now shall we? Now being a true Scotsman I know that the bagpipes are a weapon of war. Did you know that Roddy? It is a crime to carry them onto the battlefield and they are a cruel mistress. Just like me they can do some serious damage. Roddy tonight I am looking to change and to make a statement. For too long I have being overlooked and I am tired of shoddy booking and I want to make a name for myself. Tonight is the first night that I truly begin to take shape of what I can become.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 8ue71

Drew McIntyre
Do you know what it is like to be deemed the chosen one Roddy? Of course you don’t. The former boss of WWE and now XWL executive Vince McMahon personally travelled to Scotland to sign me to WWE in a very lucrative deal. He called me a future world champion, a title which you failed to win in your entire career. Honestly I’m surprised you made it this far and still have a job. There are people with a lot more talent than you who get released by major company’s so to see a washed up liar still in a job surprises me. No one in the history of this company has had that privilege what Vince gave me. Recently that got me thinking and I realised I had to make a change. If I was going to become a future champion I had to make a change and that is why I am out here. To make a statement not just for me but for all of the Scots out there who see you as the pathetic liar you truly are.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 KlbYJ

”Rowdy” Roddy Piper
Why you no good little punk. You want to make a statement against the Hot Rod? Bring it on. I never get tired to show a young punk some mannars and tonight I said there would be controversy and this is not the way I intended it to be but I sure as hell will not let some punk like you try to make a statement at my expense. C’mon throw the mic down let’s do this!

Roddy throws down the mic and takes off his leather jacket throwing it into the crowd as the crowd begin to cheer, hyping up a fight between the two as Drew just laughs.

Drew McIntyre
You’re truly pathetic. Why would I want to brawl like a backstreet hoodlum when we can do things properly. You want a fight? You got it. I’m going to make a statement by making sure you don’t even get to walk out of here tonight, get a ref out here!

Roddy Piper throws the chairs over the ring and begins to do a few stretches preparing for a match as Drew slowly unbuttons his shirt and begins to roll up his sleeves. After a few moments the crowd begin to cheer as a ref rushes down the ramp and slides into the ring. He quickly checks on Roddy to make sure he wants to compete in this match as Drew nods to confirm his participation. After a few moments the ref looks on before ringing the bell!

Both men walk up to each other before Roddy Piper slaps Drew across the face. He is clearly angry from the comments made earlier and wanting a fight. Drew laughs but Roddy does it again, the laugh fades away and a more serious look appears on the face of Drew McIntyre. One more slap from Roddy and Drew snaps with slap of his own. Both men then begin to hit each other with a series of punches and slowly the crowd begin to cheer and get behind Roddy Piper as he begins to land punch after punch without answer from Drew. Drew begins to take a few steps back and tries to fall back onto the ropes but Roddy piper keeps up the offense and tries to irish whip Drew, he counters and manages to send Roddy Piper into the ropes and as he comes back he is met with a huge big boot by Drew.
The crowd boo as he is knocked down to the mat. Drew looks on with a cocky grin as Roddy Piper holds his head in pain. Drew begins to man handle the legend and grabs his head before delivering a series of blows to the temple. After a while Roddy begins to get the crowd behind him, he begins to start to strike Drew while on one knee and keep hitting him without a response, after a while he gets back to his feet and starts getting momentum. Drew begins to man handle the legend and grabs his head locking his head in place for the future shock DDT. He looks around as some of the kids look on is horror before laughing and shouting “THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A STATEMENT!” and dropping The Hot Rod on his head. He then throws him away by pushing his head away as he looks to be out cold. Drew stands up laughing at his work before walking out of the ring and up the ramp as his theme hits the P.A.

The camera goes back to Rowdy Roddy Piper as he looks to be gaining conciousness again and holds his head in pain before fading out to a hype video package for tonights main event highlighting the recent saga of events between Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicitty.!

[Dolph Ziggler]

Boring.

[HHH vs Brawk]

I found the commentary throughout this was solid and entertaining to read. I especially loved the reactions when Triple H's entrance music hit. The way Big Johnny made his way down to the ring was classic heel stuff and it was realistic for his character. Him announcing that HHH isn't here, but still allowing Brock to get the ring was another good heel move. Lesnar soaking in the moment as the fans goes nuts is one of my favourite images from this. Triple H being fired is nuts, I can't wait to see how this unfolds and when it unfolds. Well written segment.

[Pre match promo]

smh, so cheap of you to copy the exact Orton entrance from Bad Blood into this promo, shows much little effort you put in nowadays </3 Wait holy fucking shit, I did NOT expect Orton to be the one who attacked his dad, whoa. My stomach literally sank when I read it because it was so unexpected, and I know that was what you were going for. At first I thought it was a kinda shitty decision but then I thought about it more, and Orton's reasoning for doing it and I loved it. He upped the ante for unpredictability completely to show the deadman he's not fucking around. The last paragraph was just intense and I was pumped for the match. Loved it.

[Favourite Line]

"My name is Randy Orton and like it or not you have absolutely nothing on me!"

[Booger Red vs The Man Man]

After that promo I could just picture Orton pacing around in the ring like a caged animal waiting for Undertaker. Then of course he legs it up the ramp like a champion. I'm digging the hot start that the match has, getting it starting in a good pace. The fact that it turned into an all out brawl from the get go was what I expected, although the announcement beforehand was unexpected. I'm just hooked reading this writeup as Orton's an absolute madman. I like how the brawl is just going all over the place and even spilling over Cole's water, heart wrenching stuff for Cole. The spot where Taker falls over the barrier into the crowd sounded nasty, the DDT on the ground would've been sick but probably the end too.... And NOW the match starts. Orton going for the RKO only to be dumped outside is sick, the dive to the outside was a needed spot and I'm glad you did it. The nearfalls are crazy yet I like how it keeps going on because it's a hell of a read. I thought it'd be hard to do but as the match goes on it manages to get more intense. Dat old school powerslam spot :gig: I thought that the hells gates might've been it, but Orton's still fighting. This match is just a complete war with more nearfalls and creative spots, Orton kicking out of the Tombstone was insane. The RKO and Tombstone by Orton, I was sure that'd be the brutal end to it but neither man will quit. The ending was awesome, a sick chair shot to Taker that will surely only piss him off to continue the feud. Orton has officially gone crazy.

The write up was top notch as usual, I feel it topped Cena/Rock/Punk in terms of drama. There was a lot of creative spots and match furthering points, the commentary was constant and solid. And the ending leaves an opening for a more intense future match. Your write ups amaze me, I wish I had the ability to do them like that. I apologize for EVER doubting you being a 'serious' character, you've outdone yourself as Orton.

[Braveheaaart]

I like the way you started this off with Roddy Piper, this was a really unique way to bring back Drew and as much as it saddens me that you're dropping Cena I know you'll do a top notch job as Drew. The Roddy part was solid, talking about the last time he was here and such. The second I saw Drew I was happy because I love the idea of Drew and Roddy promo'ing since they're both Scottish and talk funny. Drew getting right to a harsh point of legends like him taking up air time of the up and comers like Drew is interesting, but the way he brought it out was just pure heel. The way you phrased all of Drew's sayings I could just picture him saying it, his parts were written very well with a lot of clever phrases. I had a feeling when reading this that it'd come to blows, the little brawl between them was sick, well more of Drew kicking his ass. Poor Roddy can't catch a break, dude got drilled. All together this was an awesome promo and a great way for you to redebut Drew, he really did make a statement like he wanted.

[Favourite Line]

"The Kilt, the music, the heritage it’s all lies isn’t it. You’re actually Canadian."

[Anchorman II featuing AJ Styles]

Just so you know I listened to Joey Ryan's theme over and over when reading this writeup and it made it that much more epic. The entrances were written well to, entertaining to read. I enjoyed the first paragraph as it was a bit more technical than the other matches. Both men wrestled very smart. AJ getting a pinfall in 5 minutes is big, I loved the spot where AJ was superkicked out of the ring. The basis of this match is very hard hitting. I lol'd at Joey stealing a drink and pouring it over himself. With it tied with a minute left I expected it to go to sudden death or overtime or whatever it is. But Joey scraping the win at the very last second was awesome. Fun match to read.

Alex Riley
I like how human you had Riley come across in this interview. He has no gimmick, just a guy who enjoys wrestling, and Kane threatened his ability to do that by setting him on fire and putting him on the sidelines for quite a while. I like how this feud doesn’t necessarily need some major backstory, you have Kane who’s doing what he does because he can and Riley is about to enact the classic quest of revenge where he tries to make up for time lost while he was hurt and to make Kane suffer a lot more like he did. Also, really liked the story Riley told of how the match came to be, it was a heart-warming tale.

Christian
This was a nice heelish way to introduce the new title design with the way you looked down on most of the men who have come before and are how he’s determined to bring back the belt’s prestige. Good luck in your reign.

Brock Lesnar
Loved how Brock wasn’t pulling any punches in the promo at all. He said what he wanted about Triple H and delivered his message in a way that showed that unlike others he really isn’t intimidated by the man that they call the cerebral assassin. It was also great that Lesnar doesn’t seem to care whether or not Triple H shows up or not because as he said it’ll be a win-win for him because he’ll finally rid XWL of the man Lesnar feels has been undeservingly hogging the spotlight. Brock set an intense mood for this promo and if the match goes down I expect it to be brutal.

Dolph Ziggler
It’s great to see Dolph out of jail and promoing again because this was a really fun promo to read. I like how throughout this promo you were able to get his mannerisms and saying down to a tee as you typed this out and wasn’t really hard to imagine Dolph’s voice in my head cutting this promo because none of it felt forced or out of character. The sentences were put together in a manner that made reading this a smooth ride and like I’ve said about other promos this was one of those promos where you can sit down and read it from start to finish and then you have to re-read it not only because it was good but because you have to make sure that you didn’t miss anything the first time around. The shots you took and the way you named dropped were great because it shows that Dolph really isn’t here to make any friends but at the same time he has no problems apparently putting the moves on women like Mickie when he needs it. Not only is he well over-confident about his looks but also about his ability in the ring and out of it. In the ring he more or less claimed that there’s no one else out there that can touch him, and the fact that you humanized him a little by having speak about how he came up short at Final Stand, kind of helped add another dimension to his character because he’s not necessarily always a show off because there have been times when he’s had to take a step back and tried to get career going down the right path. He feels he’s on that path on now and he’s declaring that this will be the summer of all summer because he’s going to pick up where he left off and then take it to the next level from never. But the ever confident Dolph isn’t just about what he’s able to do in the ring, the way he blows off the interviewer tells us that he believes he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread and that there are few people that would ever have the honor and privilege of interviewing a superstar, or a walking legend as he would call himself, like him. There are few general managers capable and worthy of having a guy of his caliber on his roster and he made that clear with his dissing of Mick Foley and almighty praise of Vickie and I like how you’ve carried that relationship into XWL because you can do some good stuff by having the two of them work out, and as long as you don’t hog her from Chavo I have no problems with that at all. So great stuff here Adam, I won’t nitpick with this promo because the pros far outweighed the cons and they didn’t take away from my ability to enjoy reading. The fact that you were able to put this out after weeks of inactivity (test promos and ZTLIS notwithstanding) is a testament to your ability and shows that you worrying about whether you want to drop Dolph and Miz is foolish because you can still do great as both and you have the ability to make both of their characters unique and not have to worry about them coming across as the same. Looking forward to seeing what you have planned as him, and hoping that this is the start of something epic.

Brock Lesnar/Triple H
Damn I was really hoping that it wouldn’t go this route ‘cause I wanted to see HHH tear ish up, but at the same time you this leaves you wondering how Triple H is going to get his job back and get his revenge. ice job advancing the feud with this.

Randy Orton/Taker
This write up was great and it’s amazing the way you’re able to make them fun to read with your ability to string in drama, metaphors and everything else to go along with the action. Orton’s announcement caught me off guard but it shows just how obsessed he’s become about proving himself to Taker even at the cost of his own Father’s health. And that showed again when he couldn’t wait for Taker to get to the ring before his emotions got the best of him leading to that epic brawl on the outside and then inside the ring. The way the match ending was great as Orton possibly realized that there may not be a way to beat The Deadman, so he had to settle with doing what he did. Looking forward to seeing where this goes because if he wasn’t before then Taker’s definitely out for blood and Orton’s just crazy. Still partial to the triple threat write up because I was super hyped for that.

Joey Ryan/AJ Styles
The write up was good and I liked how you had Joey toy with AJ in the beginning and how you threw in a bit of technical moves before things got serious in the match. There was some fun spots here like Styles hitting that senton over the ropes and the superkick through the ropes and the dramatic finish. Then again, I thought the champ retained on a draw? So I was more expecting Ryan to try and steer clear of Styles for the rest of the match instead of rushing for the second pin, though on the other hand this does give him something to brag about if this feud does continue which I hope it does because it’s been fun to watch how things unfold between the two.

Drew McIntyre
I really like the way that you choose the bring Drew back by having him call out Piper on his heritage and then beating him down in the ring. It was a great way to have Drew to make an impact after going under the radar for so long, and now all eyes has to be on him now as we sit and get ready for whatever he has planned.

Shortly following an advertisement for XWL's next pay-per-view event, Digital Decision, we head backstage where the camera's focused on the ringside area from a nearby position.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Jlwql

Slowly the camera turns away from that sight and we then see Ted DiBiase just on the offside of the sound booth. He's staring off into the distance at the very ring where he will soon do battle with his rival, Michael McGillicutty. His World Heavyweight Championship is sat nearby on a crate next to him with his hand on the plate just gliding his hand along it almost as if he were in his own little world. But his outer worldly experience will have to wait until another time, because he's soon tapped on the back by the very cameraman filming him for the last thirty seconds. He flinches at first, he wasn't expecting to be interrupted, but he turns around slowly until a deep sigh follows in response of finding out who it is.

{Ted DiBiase}
What do you want, Mitch?

{Mitch}
I'm sorry, is this a bad time?

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 5zCJt

{Ted DiBiase}
No, not at all, what ever would make you think such a thing?

{Mitch}
You just seemed as if your mind was elsewhere.

{Ted DiBiase}
That's because it is, incase you've been hidden under a rock, or lodged so far up Daniel Bryan's ass that you can't see straight, I'm defending my World Heavyweight Championship tonight. Not against any ol' challenger though, but against the bastard that's attacked my father in cold blood, taken out my best friend, and tried to steal my girlfriend.

{Mitch}
You mean Michael?

{Ted DiBiase}
No, I mean bastard! The same slimy no good son of a bitch that that's done nothing but try to break me. He's tried to psychically break me with his undying need to attack me at every chance he got, be that an autograph signing, the very moment after I won the World Heavyweight Championship, or at ringside when I was out supporting my girlfriend in her match. Then he's tried to mentally by going after my innocent father and beating him so badly that I saw a sight that'll forever stay with me...Standing in that ring, and seeing my father spew blood as if he were some sick imitation of a waterfall, it just....It does something to you...To be helpless like that, to know there's nothing you can do but watch, it messes with your head in more ways than you could ever understand...

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 T2sdV

{Ted DiBiase}
As if that weren't bad enough, he's also tried to verbally...Calling me a disgrace, not only to third generation superstars, but to the DiBiase name?! Saying that I'm spineless just because I refused to stand there another second and watch as my father was savagely beaten?!

{Mitch}
Sorry to interrupt, but it does seem as if his tactics have in a way worked...You seem very bothered by everything recently, including remarks from your fellow wrestlers in the locker room.

{Ted DiBiase}
Look this past month has been an eye opening experience, from my father being maliciously assaulted, to my best friend being taken out of action, to the incessant remarks from my fellow superstars...It took me two years, but I think it finally sunk in this ol' noggin...I love my fans, and I love entertaining them, but it's gotten to a point where everyone sees me as just that...An entertainer, not a man worthy of being a champion, not a threat to anybody, and an overall "joke."

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 3LA57

{Ted DiBiase}
There's only so many times you can just laugh at something before it starts to annoy you. Here I am putting in all this effort to be the best that I can be, and I've got people making snide remarks about me and who I am. But where are those people right now? It seems as if the jealousy bug is running wild in the locker room and hey if that's how they choose to outlet their frustrations over their own current shortcomings then by all means go ahead. But the days where I'll just sit back and ignore those statements, well they're over. You got something you wanna say? You know where to find me. Because as the old expression goes, no more Mr. nice guy.

{Mitch}
Very interesting, now could I get your thoughts on how it feels to be heading into your first title defense as World Champion?

{Ted DiBiase}
Not like I always envisioned, tonight isn't just about the World Heavyweight Championship to me, it's about revenge...He has no idea what he's unleashed, and by the time he realizes it, it'll to be too late. He won't be able to run, he won't be able to hide, and when I get done with him, there won't be a soul alive that'll be able to identify him.

Mitch just remains silent, almost speechless by Ted's very different tone.

{Mitch}
It's funny you should mention that he'll have no where to run, and no where to hide, because Michael actually said the same thing about you earlier.

{Ted DiBiase}
But was it really me he was saying that to? Or was he looking into the camera's reflection at himself? Maybe it's sinking in for him, maybe despite his cocky exterior, beneath lies a man afraid...Afraid of what might be waiting for him in that ring...Ever think of that, Mitch?

{Mitch}
No, that actually never crossed my mind.

{Ted DiBiase}
You wanna know why it didn't? Because everyone sees me as the joke, but the jokes on them.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 J72dc

With a twisted smile forming on his face, we fade away to that very image.

*Michelle McCool sets up for the faith breaker and she hits it and follows it right into a pin attempt. The referee begins to count 1....2.... But right before he puts his hand down for 3, Kaitlyn manages to shift the weight and make it into a pin fall of her own. McCool is stuck in a pinning predicament as the referee begins to count. 1...2... And right before 3, Kaitlyn grabs onto the ropes to get the last little advantage. The referee then puts his hand down for the 3 and Kaitlyn is declared the winner.*

*Kaitlyn quickly rushes out of the ring and rests near the barricade as McCool is kneeled in the ring, looking on at Kaitlyn with obvious signs of anger growing inside of her. Kaitlyn smiles as she celebrates he win over McCool near the barricade with the fans there. McCool gets to her feet and begins to argue with the referee as we fade to the next segment.*

This probably would've been better.... But Kyle was suppose to do it, but he disappeared again poker face

[Maryse lets Ted off his leash]

First of all I like the setup/scene for the promo, simply Ted sitting in the arena reflecting before his match. Ted showed a lot of pent up frustration in the promo with the way he talked, it seemed kind of heelish but it was just Ted angered about McGillicutty. It shows how he's ready to fight and let that anger out on him. Mitch bringing up how Michael's plan has basically come to fruition was good to show that he actually has gotten into his head. I like how Ted has reached his boiling point of being the friendly, cheesy underestimated guy. The promo was very straight forward and different than your last few ones, the new attitude of Ted is interesting going into the match.

[Favourite Line]

"everyone sees me as the joke, but the jokes on them."

[McCool v Kaitlyn]

Since Kyle couldn't write up that ending I hope he gets on soon to do his Michelle promo.

The Ted promo was very...interesting to say the least. I'm not quite sure where this will end up going, but I really liked this promo, it really plays up Ted/McSillyPutty really well. Personally I hope McGillicutty loses, then attacks Ted, cashes in and wins mischief

Zack entrance, other parts of the write up: Bang

[???]
ATTENTION PLEASE.

Jerry Lawler: Oh no.

Michael Cole: Oh yes!

*The crowd roars with jeers as 'Dashingly Insane' Cody Rhodes comes out to the stage. He is clearly not in a good mood after the weeks of humiliation from Zack Ryder.*

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_022

Jim Ross: Well folks, this all started last month at Bad Blood when Cody made his return and interrupted the live edition of Z! True Long Island Story.

Michael Cole: And I still thank him for that.

Jerry Lawler: Of course, JR, Cody wasn't done there. He took it one step further by entering Zack Ryder's home and assaulting him.

Michael Cole: And the week after that the loser jumped Cody and hit him with the Rough Ryder!

Jerry Lawler: After Cody had tried a cheap shot, of course. Anyway, the week after that Cody met Zack in a tag team match up, which Zack ended up pinning Cody in.

Jim Ross: The suffering wasn't over for Cody yet, however. As last week Zack Ryder cost him his match against Michael McGillicutty.

Michael Cole: And tonight Cody is going to get his revenge!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_053

*Cody then gets into the ring, game face on, as the theme of Zack Ryder hits.*

*As Zack Ryder's theme hits the PA system, the crowd let out a huge cheer for Long Island Iced Z! as he walks out onto the stage with his Flip camera filming himself as leans back and shouts "Woo Woo Woo" into his camera then begins to make his way down the ramp*

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 1-6

Jim Ross: And here he is once again, for the second time tonight, the Long Island Iced Z! Zack Ryder! Earlier tonight he successfully defended his X-Treme championship against Kassius Ohno, and no he turns his attention to Cody Rhodes.

Michael Cole: I can't stand this little jerk, JR. And personally I can't wait for Cody Rhodes to teach him a lesson he'll never forget!

*As Zack reaches half way down the ramp he stops and with his free hand he makes a phone gesture and shouts "Call me" and makes his way to the ring*

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 2-8

Jerry Lawler: It's not going to be easy for Zack after all he's already competed in one match tonight, and trust me I know that after that match muscles could of ceased up, he could be subject to cramps and he's going to have to power through to stand a chance tonight against Cody Rhodes.

Michael Cole: It wouldn't be easy for him even if he hadn't had a match earlier tonight, and you should know just how good Cody Rhodes is in the ring, and if you ask me Zack Ryder doesn't stand a chance!

*As reaches the ringside area he hops up onto the apron, then climbs the turnbuckle and holds up the LI with his hands as Cody exits the ring, Ryder then jumps down from the turnbuckle, and enters the ring between the top and middle ropes*

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 3-8

Jerry Lawler: I'm not going to argue with you Cole, Cody Rhodes has some talent and unlimited potential, but Zack Ryder has the better of him in the past few weeks, and he's been on fire since returning to XWL at Final Stand IV.

Jim Ross: That's for sure King, he's had some huge victories in the past two months he's been in the ring with some of the best XWL has to offer.

Cody Rhodes Vs Zack Ryder

As Zack Ryder's theme fades out, Cody slowly climbs up onto the ring apron to enter the ring but Zack quickly runs across and baseball slides Cody in the knee's sending him back down to the covering mats on the outside of the ring, and quickly rolls under the bottom rope following him. Cody quickly gets back to his feet and Zack and Cody begin to trade blows outside of the ring but soon Zack manages to gain the advantage over Cody, as he reels with Zack in tow, grabbing Cody by the head and slamming it into the steel steps. And as Cody's skull bounces off the steps he tries to escape walking around the corner of the ring with Ryder still following he throws Cody head first into the barricade, then grabs him once again and slams it into the top of the announcer's table, and Cody still reeling goes around another corner of the ring.

Michael Cole: Look at Ryder. How can you condone this? The match hasn't even started yet damnit!

As Ryder follows Cody around the ring corner, he's blindsided by Cody, hitting him with a Dropkick to the knees. As Zack gets back up to his feet, Cody repeatedly clubs him on the back, then pushes him shoulder first into the corner post and Zack falls down and grabs his shoulder in pain and Cody begins to kick and stomps on Zack's hurt shoulder, then wrings his arm and tangles it up in the corner post, before pulling Ryder's arm back and slamming it into the ring post, as Zack screams in pain again, then Cody slams it into the ring post again as Zack slumps to the floor clutching his arm as Cody continues his focused assault he soccer kicks Ryder bicep, then wring's it then and pulls him over to the steel steps.

Jim Ross: Cody Rhodes is relentless, he could break Zack's arm for gods sake, is that really necessary?

Michael Cole: Oh taking the morale high ground now JR? It didn't bother you a minute ago when it was Cody getting attacked.

Ryder then begins to fight back with a kick to the midsection then punches Cody with his good arm but Cody replies with a straight kick to Zack's kneecap buckling it, then repeatedly clubs Zack's hurt arm and wrings it again and slams Zack's forearm into the steel steps as Zack screams in pain Cody wastes no time and slams it into the steps again.

Jerry Lawler: Come on Cole, how can you condone this, Cody Rhodes is trying to break the kids arm, he's trying to end this match before it's even started.

Cody then grabs Zack's hand one more time and places it onto the steps again and holds it in place and walking up the steps still holding Ryder's hand in place. The crowd begin to boo Cody as he stalls, then after a few seconds lets go of Ryder's hand and bring down his foot, almost certainly breaking bones in Zack's hand, as he falls to the ground holding his hand in pain.

Jim Ross: Anymore of this and he might do just that King, I can't imagine the kind of pain Ryder's in right now.

He then picks Ryder back up the rolls him into the ring, and climbs up onto the ring apron, but waits for a few seconds before entering the ring and officially starting the match-up. He turns around as the crowd boo the former Dashing One and The Big O stands up from his front row seat and tries to jump the barricade but the arena's security stop him as he continues the shout at Cody, who then jumps down from the apron and confronts him telling Big O to take his best shot but when he does the security restrain him not letting him near Rhodes. As Cody chuckles aloud at getting Big O fired up, he decides to turn his attention back to Zack Ryder and climbs back up on the ring apron and turns around again demanding the security remove Big O from the arena to boos from the crowd, as Cody turns around into the ring again, Ryder hits him with a shoulder block to the gut, and flips Cody over the top rope into the ring, as the referee rings the bell to start the match.

Michael Cole: What the hell is that idiot doing? He can't get involved in this match, they better get him out of the building before he causes anymore trouble.

As Cody quickly gets up to his feet, Ryder hits him with a dropkick and Zack quickly for the cover, which Cody kicks out of a one, and begins to get back to his feet, Ryder use's his one good arm with hit him with a weak swinging neckbreaker, and as Cody hits the mat he grabs his neck and makes his way into the corner with Ryder following after him, chopping him in the chest a few times, then jumping up onto the second rope and holding his fist up to the crowd and punching Cody in the head.

Jerry Lawler: What ring smarts by Ryder, he knew he wasn't going to win then, but it makes Cody use up that little bit extra of his energy, and let me tell you little things like that can make the difference the longer a match goes on.

As Zack hits the ninth punch, Cody grabs his legs and walks forward pulling into the ring then drops him, and Ryder's head hits the top turnbuckle, and Cody goes for the cover.

Michael Cole: You talk about ring smarts, now that's some great awareness by Rhodes right there, and it could be over.

Ryder kicks out at two, and Cody hits the mat in frustration, and shouts at the ref that it was three, which the referee replies to him saying it was only a two count.

Jim Ross: Cody's got to keep his cool, he's already done a significant amount of damage to Ryder's arm, and if he keeps his temper under control, then he'll keep Ryder at bay.

Cody on his feet waits in a prone position for Ryder to slowly get to his feet, then runs towards the ropes, hits the middle rope and jumps back and hits Ryder with a Disaster kick to his injured arm, and goes for the cover once again.

Michael Cole: Disaster Kick by Rhodes to the arm, what precision by Cody!

Ryder kicks out again at two.

Jim Ross: That disaster kick right to the injured arm of Zack Ryder!

Jerry Lawler: And he still kicked out!

Zack screams out in pain as he holds his arm. Cody smiles at the fact before stomping on his arm some more. Cody puts him in an armbar and the referee ensures that Ryder can still compete. Zack begins pounding on the mat as Cody keeps the hold wrenched in, the crowd starting to get behind Ryder once more. With each clap from the fans, Zack seemingly gets up a little higher. He is soon up to his feet and he starts nailing Cody with multiple shots to the head. Cody refuses to let go, but Zack rocks him with another elbow to the skull. He shoots off the ropes, charging after him, but his momentum is thrown right into a hip toss! With him down, Cody sizes him up and drops a knee to the head. Cody then locks in the armbar again, Zack reaching for the ropes.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_086

Michael Cole: Zack’s gonna tap! I can feel it!

Ryder seemingly fights out of this one quicker, tripping Cody by the legs. He goes for a bridging cover, but Rhodes reverses it into a sunset flip pin. Zack then counters that into a victory roll, and this time Cody kicks out for good to end the series. As soon as they get up, however, Ryder flattens Cody with a huge clothesline. The crowd pops as Ryder starts to fire away on Cody, sending him back to the corner. Zack continues to pour in the shots as the crowd pops for each shot delivered. Ryder then begins to ram his gut for his shoulder. After the third one, Cody leap frogs the forth and Zack goes firing into the corner. Rhodes steps onto the outside and he measures Zack, who is dangling from the middle rope. He goes to ram his knee into his skull, but the X-Treme Champion moves out of the way and Cody goes right into post himself. He holds his knee in pain and Ryder connects with a dropkick from in the ring, sending Cody hard into the apron. Zack then pulls him into the ring.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_167

He quickly goes in for the cover, yet Cody kicks out almost as quickly. Zack stays on his knees and just begins pounding onto Cody. He gets up to his feet but he continues to drive in the heavy hits. He grabs a hold of the ropes and just begins to stomp on him as the referee begins to make the count. Zack completely ignores him, and by the fourth count, the referee is forced to yank him out of the corner. The referee tries to control Zack as he is trying everything in his power to get to Cody. He is contained in the corner as the ‘Dashingly Insane’ is back up, and he uses the situation to his advantage. With the referee holding a wild Ryder in the corner, Rhodes just begins to pour shot after shot into his skull. The referee realizes this and then tries to get Cody off. He complies, but he grabs hold of the ref, throwing him right into Ryder! The ref collapses and Ryder sinks into the corner.

Jim Ross: Oh come on! This kid has no respect for anybody!

Michael Cole: Hey! That was a brilliant tactic from Redemption’s finest!

Jerry Lawler: Well, I guess it’s nice to see some people just don’t change.

Michael Cole: You better watch what you say about Cody, Jerry.

Jerry Lawler: Is he going to fire me? No! He’s not General Manager anymore! Ha!

Jim Ross: Thank heaven.

Michael Cole: Cody was the best General Manager your pathetic show has ever seen!

Amidst the bickering between the three commentators, the action is still going on inside the ring. Zack is in the corner and Cody is beating on him. He picks him up and Irish Whips him hard into the turnbuckle, Ryder snapping back right into a back suplex from Cody. Cody grabs him by the head, but the champ hits him with an elbow to the gut. He starts to get back in the fight with multiple punches, yet with the referee down, Cody once again takes advantage by hitting Zack with a low blow. Ryder lets out a big ‘o’ face as he grabs a hold of his groin, falling to the mat. Rhodes picks him up again and drives his skull into the canvas with a Silver Spoon DDT. He covers, failing to realize he knocked out the referee moments again. Cody is clearly frustrated as he goes to wake up the referee, Zack getting back up. He holds up the ‘L.I.’ taunt, signifying the end! The crowd is on their feet!

Michael Cole: Quick, Cody! Turn around! Please!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_178

Zack charges at Cody with blazing light speed, but he is caught at the last second! He is tossed overhead, and he comes crashing down on the top rope! He bounces off and smacks against the ring mat, the crowd gasping as Rhodes stands over him, smirking. He raises his arm as the referee finally wakes up. Cody grabs him and tells him to count as he goes in for the cover on Ryder. The referee slowly counts; 1…..2….. kick out by Ryder! The crowd pops and Cody is fuming. Steam seems to be blowing from the ears as Rhodes violently grabs him. Zack is able to shove him off, however, and he pushes him straight into the corner. Cody sinks down to the bottom and Zack looks around, the crowd going almost as insane as Cody. He puts his fist in the air and begins pumping, eventually charging and connecting with the Broski Boot! Zack backs up as Rhodes staggers to his feet with help from the ropes. He finally turns around, and Zack hits the Rough Ryder!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_184

Michael Cole: NO! NO! NO!

Jerry Lawler: To quote Daniel Bryan, YES! YES! YES!

Ryder hooks the leg and the referee begins to count. One! Two! No! Cody gets his feet on the bottom! The crowd is utterly disappointed and Zack is holding his head in shock. He asks the ref ‘are you serious, bro?’ The referee reassures the two count and Zack isn’t sure on what to do. He goes to the top, getting in one fist pump on the way. He tries to balance himself, but this gives Cody enough time to shoot up and hit the rope. Zack goes crotch first into the turnbuckle as he just lingers there. This gives Cody the chance to go off the ropes and he nails the Beautiful Disaster! Ryder plops to the mat like a wet mop and Cody goes down just as hard. The crowd is awestruck and the referee doesn’t know what to do as both men are down. He checks on both men and he goes to being a count, but Cody shows some life as he grabs onto the ropes. He is dazed for a moment as he notices Zack is flat out on his back. Rhodes then tries to go up to the top himself, and he connects with a beautiful moonsault! Both men are down once again as the referee begins the count.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_154

Jim Ross: These two young athletes are putting it all on the line!

Jerry Lawler: The hatred between these two is so thick you could cut it with a knife!

Zack all of sudden shoots up to his feet and also clings onto the ropes. Rhodes is frustrated and he makes his way over to Zack. He begins to hit him with multiple rights and lefts, but Zack starts fighting back. The two trade shots, the crowd cheering every time Zack got one in, and them also booing whenever Cody got a shot in. Each shot seemingly does more damage than the last, as it causes them to take an extra step back each time. Zack starts to fire away and really take control of the fight, but makes a costly mistake when he bounces off the ropes. Cody ducks under and scoops him up, connecting with the Alabama Slam.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Normal_119

Michael Cole: The Alabama Slam by Cody and we all know what’s coming next!

Cody sizes up Ryder as he stammers to get on his feet. Cole is the only one get excited as Rhodes sneaks up behind Zack. He grabs him by the neck and goes for the Cross Rhodes, but Zack slips out and pushes him right into the corner! The crowd pops as Ryder rams his forearm into his skull, sending him back to the bottom again. Zack backs up and sets up for the Broski Boot one more time. He pumps his fist three times as he charges, but Cody gets out of the way! Zack goes right into the corner as he is grabbed by Cody in a German suplex like position, but Cody rolls through and sets up for the Cross Rhodes! He puts it in motion, but Ryder slips out again! He goes for his back suplex, Rhodes now flipping over that and hitting the Cross Rhodes! He covers!

NO! KICKOUT!

Michael Cole: WHAT?

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 VnqXt

Cody is extremely frustrated as confronts the referee again telling him it was a slow count and it was three then turns his focus back on Ryder and pulls him back to his feet, but Ryder reacts quickly and hits Cody in the jaw with a forearm shot, then another and another then running the ropes and on the rebound hits Cody with a Flying Forearm shot, then as Cody bounces back to his feet he hits him with another Flying Forearm shot and as Cody gets to his feet again Zack kicks him in the gut and hooks his arms then hit's Rhodes with a Double Underhook Powerbomb, and grabs his arm in pain, and rolls over for the cover

Jerry Lawler: How is he doing this JR? His arm must be killing him, but Ryder's back in this!

1

2

Kickout by Rhodes after a long two as Ryder looks on in shock, almost certain that he'd of defeated Cody then. Ryder then climbs up to the second turnbuckle and waits for Cody to get to his feet, and as he does he dives off spinning around with his elbow out wide, but Cody counters and grabs Zack extended arm and pulls him to the mat in an armbar, and applies pressure to Zack's damaged arm

Jim Ross: And Rhodes is back to that arm, how much must that be hurting him? Rhodes has gone back to this armbar, time after time.

Michael Cole: It's good strategy, JR. He's weakened Ryder's arm and he's taking advantage of it.

As Cody keeps the hold applied, Ryder slowly manages the get his body in front of him and knee's Cody in the face, then again forcing him to release the hold as Cody back's himself into a corner, then Ryder charges at him and jumps up onto the second rope but Cody quickly counters falling forwards planting Ryder with a Powerbomb

Jim Ross: What a Powerbomb by Rhodes, that came right out of the blue and it could just be enough to put Ryder away.

Jerry Lawler: It could be JR, but what is he doing now?

Opting not the go for the cover, Cody slowly climbs up the turnbuckle looking into the crowd, and as he reaches the top rope he composes himself making sure he doesn't lose his balance, then dives off flipping in the air with a moonsault, and goes for the cover

Michael Cole: That's what he's doing King, what a moonsault by Rhodes, and he's going for the cover and it's over!

1

2

Michael Cole: How is he doing this? This match should of been over a long time ago, but Ryder won't stay down!

Jerry Lawler: It's the will of a champion Cole, he's willing to do anything to get the job done, and he's taken a hell of a beating tonight but he keeps on ticking!

Ryder kicks out again at two as the crowd erupt! Astonished Cody grabs Zack by the head and trunks and charges to the corner to throw him shoulder first into the ring post, but at the last second Ryder ducks and switches throwing Cody into the ring post! As Cody slumps down and begins to fall Ryder sneaks behind him and rolls him up in a School Boy

*The referee hands Ryder his championship, as Justin Roberts announces the winner*

Justin Roberts: And the winner of this match, the X-Treme champion; Long Island Iced Z! Zack Ryder!

Michael Cole: NO! THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!

Jerry Lawler: Look at that, Cole! Your boy Cody just got beat by Zack Ryder!

Jim Ross: It looks like Cody is in just as much of a shock.

Zack celebrates on the top rope, raising his title in the air. The crowd is going nuts as Cody is on his knees in the ring, auguring with the referee. Cody insists his kicked out, but the referee assures him it was a three count. Just then, he snaps and pushes the referee down before running over to Zack and hitting him from behind!

Jim Ross: Oh come on! What a damn cheap shot!

The crowd boos as Zack plops down from the top. Cody, enraged, just stomps on him rapidly. The bell keeper rings the bell to signify the match is over, but it is ignored. Rhodes just keeps pummeling Ryder as the referee stands idly by, not able to do anything. He tries to get Cody off, but is shoved. Rhodes picks up the X-Treme, grabs him by the tights, and then just throws him right into the ring post again! He doesn’t even crack a smirk as he rips him from the corner and plants him down with another Silver Spoon DDT. With Zack down and gets on his knees and pushes up his chin with his hand, talking down to him. Cody tells Zack ‘he’s going to finish the job’ before picking him up again and connecting with the Alabama Slam. The referee pleads with Cody to stop, but he just stares at him before sliding Ryder across the ring and to the floor.

Jerry Lawler: This is just assault and that poor Zack Ryder is defenseless!

The crowd yells at Cody once he goes to the outside, but he ignores them. He holds Zack up before ramming his kidney area right into the apron! Before he can sink down, Cody begins choking him again before uttering a chill-full phrase; ‘I told you I’m not going to let you walk out of here.’ He then tosses him back first into the barricade! He slams hard into it and you can hear the smack across the arena as Cody grabs him again, throwing him like a dart into the ring post. Zack is out cold and completely motionless. The referee runs to the outside and tries to protect Zack as Cody advances towards him. The referee gets right in Cody’s face and tells him the match is over, but Rhodes just laughs manically and tosses the referee into the barricade! The crowd boos as the ref whips off the barricade and falls to the floor. Cody isn’t done with him yet, though, as he picks him up. He looks the referee dead in the eye before driving him to the floor with a DDT!

Jim Ross: Dammit! Enough is enough! He might have just broken the referee’s neck! This kid is a bastard! A bastard!

Michael Cole: Oh, stop being so bias!

Jim Ross: Bias? That son of a bitch is crippling Zack Ryder, and he might have just ended the lively hood of that poor referee!

The referee is completely still as Zack begins crawling. Cody notices this and picks up him one more time, slamming his head into the announcers table. Jim Ross stands right up and asks Cody “what the hell are you doing?” He doesn’t respond, he just stares at him before hitting Zack with another punch. “Just leave him alone you bastard!” Rhodes looks up at him now, and JR doesn’t back down. Cody simply slaps his hat off before taking Ryder and throwing him right into the steel steps! The steps go flying as Zack lies on top of the bottom one. Jerry Lawler helps Jim Ross regain his composure as Cody goes over to where Ryder is. He takes a step up the steps where Ryder is laying. Cody then picks up his injured arm and puts it down on the steps. He looks around for a moment before picking up his foot and stomping on it! Zack yells out in pain as Cody just looks down at him with a blank stare.

Cody picks him up and tosses him back into the ring. He crawls around, not all aware of where he is. Meanwhile, Cody is at the ringside area as he picks up a steel chair. He folds it and looks back towards the ring. Zack is barely getting on to his knees as Rhodes quickly slides back in. He measures his shot and nails him right in the back with it. Ryder falls down, but Cody doesn’t let up on the assault. He slams the chair into his back three more times before finally stopping. Zack is hardly twitching now from all the abuse as Cody slightly unfolds the chair. He then picks up Zack’s arm and wraps it around. He slams it to the ground before taking a step back. With a icy stare and cold heart, he takes a huge step onto the chair, possibly breaking Ryder’s arm!

Jerry Lawler: Somebody do something! He’s going to end Ryder’s career!

Michael Cole: Why don’t you two do something about it! Go save the day! Come on!

Ryder's arm could be snapped in half as Cody remains in the ring, looking at him. Finally the EMTs arrive with stretchers; in fact Teddy Long and Mick Foley have made their way out. Some of the EMTs go check on the poor referee as Teddy, Mick, two other refs, and the rest of the EMTs enter the ring. They try and calm Cody down as he picks up Ryder one more. He looks at Teddy and Mick and smiles before dropping Zack with another Cross Rhodes!

Jim Ross: This kid is doing this with a smirk on his face! A smirk!

Mick chases Cody from the ring and he quickly makes his way over to the stage. Teddy and the EMTs check on Ryder as Foley keeps his eye on the man he knows very well.

**Before we continue with the action at Unforgiven, we understand that a certain superstar has requested a bit of camera time. We go backstage and that superstar is..............

Davey Richards. Wink

Davey is looking at the floor looking a little upset about his loss earlier tonight. He lifts his head and then starts to talk.**

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 HnFkm

Davey Richards: Thank you for allowing me this time to talk to the fans. I am sorry that I am interrupting the action but I felt there were things I would like to say that couldn't wait until Redemption. Tonight, I suffered a big loss, its not my first and I doubt it will be my last. At this moment of time I am feeling a little down about my loss. My first championship has gone as fast at it came. At this moment of time I just want to get back to my hotel room and recover from my wounds that I have suffered tonight. But don't mistake this for a broken man crying his eyes out to the world. What your witnessing is just a man being honest. Tonight, I felt that I let you the fans down, I didn't give it my all out there, I went out there and did something that is just not like me and thats not putting my body on the line to win. Yeah many of you will see this as an excuse but believe me it is not. Christian gave me a hell of a fight and he won plain and simple.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 AoD89

Davey Richards: But like I said don't mistake me for a broken man, because I am not, I am a man that has just lost his stride, I am a wolf who failed and got slightly wounded. So what that means is that I will be back, I will recover, I will retrain and I will come back and this time I will not fail. Christian, when I get my rematch for the Intercontinental Championship, I will be coming at you with all my power, with all my might and I will kick your fucking head off, I will break that fucking ankle and you wanna know the good thing. This means that this wolf has some prey to hunt, and like always the hunt never dies and this wolf is ready to bite back because the HUNT IS ON!!!!!!!!!!

**Davey Richards stares furiously at the camera as we fade away.**

[You do not have my attention]

The entrances were good with the mixture of pictures and commentary to compliment them. I'm glad this one was written up because I know it will be a fun read. I liked the hot start to the match and Cody getting the sneaky advantage at the start was written well. Working the arm is interesting but I think the leg would be more effective to hinder the use of the rough ryder. Cody getting into a little confrontation with Big O at ringside and having him sent out was a nice added spot. The beautiful disaster kick to the arm sounds brutal, the pics of a match with them are cool since I forgot they even had a 1v1 before. Cody pulling out all of the heel tactics like a boss, I thought the Rough Ryder would've been it. The close double countout spot was neat, I thought that the Cross Rhodes was it too. Ryder getting the win was a really big win for him. Cody brutally attacking Zack after was awesome because it gives reason for the feud to continue. The writeup was top notch as usual with a lot of interesting spots and moments to keep the work on the arm up instead of just forgetting about it.

[The cunt is on]

I didn't expect to see Davey there for the promo but it's nice to see an aftermath promo from him for his thoughts on losing the title. The fact that he actually couldn't wait until Redemption shows that it's from the heart and real as always from Davey. The line where he says it's not his first and last loss lets us know that he understands wrestling and his attitude towards it is positive. It shows determination that Davey has every promo and I'm looking forward to seeing his road to getting that title again and the hunt itself. Great stuff.

[Favourite Line]

The fans go crazy when they here Kevin Steen's entrance music.**

Michael Cole: Oh my god please tell me it is not him, he was fired, he was goddamn fired, why is here???

J.R: It looks like Kevin Steen doesn't care about that and looks like he is back to put XWL straight about his situation..

**The lights are still off and the music plays for a few moments when....................

The lights come back on and then the music ends with NO SIGN of Kevin Steen. We are then taken backstage where local police and XWL security are dragging an unknown man away. We return to our live Pay Per View event, Unforgiven, to be treated at last to what we've all been waiting for, our main event World Heavyweight Championship match.

[Michael Cole]
Over the course of the last several weeks, we've witnessed the unraveling of what could quite possibly be one of our most personal rivalries in this company's history.

[JR]
It's been a whirlwind roller coaster for our World Heavyweight Champion, that's for certain.

[King]
Michael brought Ted's father, his best friend, and his girlfriend into this quest for championship gold, and it's just brought out a whole new side of DiBiase. A side we didn't know existed, we've seen glimpses of it in the past, but never quite as strongly as we do now.

[Michael Cole]
You have to admit though, Michael's actions, while maybe overboard, have actually done a great deal for Ted's character as World Champion. Let's be honest with ourselves here, nothing about Ted screamed champion to anyone! His fans may mean a lot to him, but when they define him, that's when it's a problem. No one wants a cheesy monopoly playing failure representing them as World Heavyweight Champion.

[JR]
I get what you're saying, Cole. But it still doesn't excuse Michael's actions, they've crossed the line, they've been entirely uncalled for, and inexcusable.

[King]
A lot of people see Ted as weak because of his actions in the past, but he's one of the most genuine and hardworking superstars in XWL today. His dream was to become World Heavyweight Champion, and last month he finally did that. That's not weak, that's just proof that anyone can do anything they set their mind to. He didn't change himself or give up on his goals, he persevered through it all and you have to respect that.

[Michael Cole]
I won't deny that, King. But Michael McGillicutty has worked just as hard. He took XWL by storm in his debut when he set his sights on Ted DiBiase, people doubted him, but he proved himself as a real threat. Ted may have won the battle back at X-treme X-mas, but as we've seen through the past several months, the war is far from over. Michael bounced back from that loss winning his first championship in XWL, and what happened when he lost that title? He went on later that night to beat five other men to walk away the new Mr. Money In The Bank!

[JR]
He's not the only one that's bounced back from a crushing loss, Ted gave The Rock the fight of his life at Final Stand, and even in defeat he went on that next night to beat the seemingly unbeatable Edge in a number one contenders match where he earned his first ever one on one World Heavyweight Championship match. Then at Bad Blood, in a respectable and very close bout, he went on to beat Justin Gabriel and win the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time ever. They're very similar yes, both third generation, both have fought tooth and nail to get to where they are, but that's where the similarities end.

[King]
Michael's ruthless, he seems to be the type of person that will do anything and everything if it means getting ahead. But Ted, he's the complete opposite, you never see him break a rule, not once has he ever taken the cowards way out, and although he's a real stand up guy, god help you if you piss him off.

[Michael Cole]
These two men have collided many times in the past, with the result always differing from the last. But tonight it's not just about another mark on the scoreboard, it's not just about two bitter rivals letting loose on one another, it's about the biggest prize in sports entertainment! The World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line, and it's almost unreal how far they've come since their first meeting in that squared circle. They've traveled their own respective paths to this very moment, but only one will leave this arena as the World Heavyweight Champion.

As the commentators go silent, the arena explodes with excitement as Ted DiBiase's NEW theme sounds off throughout the P.A.

Cheering at the top of their lungs as the shadows of two figures appear on the stage, the cameras pan closer revealing the World Heavyweight Champion Ted DiBiase accompanied by his girlfriend Maryse.

Ted looks out into the audience, you can tell he's quite possibly more focused than ever as he heads into not only his first title defense, but another battle with the man he's met in that ring many times before. After staring off into the distance for what seems like ages to the confused Maryse, he looks down at his World Heavyweight title strapped around his waist, places his hand on it, then takes a deep breath before continuing down the ramp.

[JR]
There he is, the man that will be defend his World Heavyweight Championship in just a matter of minutes, and he's joined by the woman that capitalized on a huge opportunity earlier tonight and became the new holder of the Miss Money In The Bank contract.

[Michael Cole]
Anyone else find it quite coincidental that the Mr. Money In The Bank fell for the woman that would soon become the Miss Money In The Bank? Seems like a match made by fate itself!

[King]
I think Maryse would disagree with you there.

[Michael Cole]
She'll come around, just you wait.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 H7IEn

Fans hold out their arms in hopes of getting their hands touched by Ted, he looks out, then even though he's about to go into an all out war with the man that put his father in the hospital, he manages to crack a smile and slap their hands as he and Maryse make their way down the ramp. One fan yells out "Knock his teeth down his throat!" to which Ted just chuckles before nodding and throwing his thumb in the air and shouting out "You got it!" which is where he and Maryse reach the end of the ramp and part ways. He stands still staring at the ring where it'll go down, while she begins to make her way over to the steel steps.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Enccj

Ted once more looks down at his championship, then runs forward up onto the apron knee first, then rises up to his feet before stepping under the top rope and entering the ring. Maryse walks around the apron reaching the spot where Ted awaited her, with his foot on the bottom rope, and his hand raising up the second.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 IQ6KT

They share a light embrace before Ted leaves her to climb the second rope posing for his DiBiase Posse shouting out to them with hands on his title and a smile on his face.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 IjLqH

[Michael Cole]
Ted seems ready for the obstacle ahead, but is he really?

[JR]
I'd say so, I'd say the same for Michael as well. They know each other almost as well as they know themselves due to the amount of times they've met in that ring, and that's bound to play a role in this upcoming match.

[King]
Couldn't agree more, the time for talk is obviously over, now it's time they prove which one of them really is better.

He hops off the corner, Maryse had propped herself against the back rope and watched the stage as Ted began pace back and forth awaiting his challenger tonight.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 6vvLd

An unfamiliar theme begins to play, leaving the crowd somewhat confused. It all becomes clear who is going to come out when the intro of the song cuts, revealing none other than Michael McGillicutty's theme. The crowd boos the third generation superstar before he even comes out.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Ygrb3

Michael McGillicutty appears on the stage with his game face on, ready to dethrone the current World Heavyweight Champion, Ted DiBiase. The crowd boos heavily as Michael just stands on the stage, taking it all in, before walking down the ramp.

[Michael Cole]
Michael paying tribute to his father with the first couple seconds of his theme tonight, he's obviously got big shoes to fill, and tonight if he can walk away the new World Champion, well you know he'll be well on his way to proving he to is perfect.

[King]
But it won't be easy, it's like JR was saying, they know each other's usual tactics, so it's going to take some strategic thinking for either to get the advantage.

[JR]
One things for certain folks, you don't wanna move an inch once that bell rings. It's gonna be an all out slobber knocker, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 SkAIM

Now halfway down the ramp, Michael notices a few kids wearing Ted DiBiase shirts, available on XWLShop.com by the way, and walks over to them. Before he could say what ever he was going to say, a fan a few seats back asks for his autograph. A smile appears on Michael's face as he accepts and signs his name on the piece of paper. After he finishes signing it, he takes the piece of paper and the fans pen then tosses it to the ground a few feet from him as the fan starts shouting “He's a thief!”

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 VvCtc

Michael extends his arms and yells out, “You people are too kind” at the live audience that is booing him after his actions moments ago. He hops up to the apron, then jumps over the top rope and onto the middle turnbuckle before extending his arms yet again as Ted just watches from the other side of the ring.

[Michael Cole]
Here we go, it's almost bell time, got any predictions?

[JR]
I'm not a betting man, but I'd be willing to wager a hefty sum that Ted surprises us all here tonight by not only getting revenge, but walking away still the World Heavyweight Champion.

[King]
For me it could go either way, I want to see Ted win just because I disagree wholeheartedly with Michael's actions as of late. But after seeing how far Michael is willing to go just to get this match with Ted, it makes me think he'll go a little further to seal the deal and maybe walk away the new champion.

Michael dismounts off the second rope then stands firmly eyeing DiBiase, but most specifically the title around his waist. Justin Roberts then take positions for the championship introductions as Maryse exits the ring.

[Justin Roberts]
The following match is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the World Heavyweight Championship!

Excited screams from the fans follow as Justin pauses waiting for the response to die down.

[Justin Roberts]
Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from Champlin, Minnesota, weighing in at 227 lbs, he is Mr. Money in the Bank himself, Michael McGillicutty!!

He throws his arm up in the air as the response is almost deafening due to the amount of boos he's receiving. He throws out his arms shouting for them to keep it coming before ending with a confident smile.

[Justin Roberts]
And his opponent, hailing from Madison Mississippi, weighing in at 214 lbs, he is the reigning World Heavyweight Champion and the leader of the DiBiase Posse, Ted DiBiase!!

He unstraps his title from around his waist then throws it up in the air garnering a loud pop from the fans in attendance. He then stares right at Michael almost as if he were saying this is mine, good luck taking it before he lowers the World Heavyweight title and hands it over to the referee. After folding the straps inward the referee then raises it up in the air for all to see.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 XxKsw

Finally he lowers it then hands it over to Justin Roberts for safe keeping before ordering both competitors into their respective corners.

Michael McGillicutty Vs Ted DiBiase Jr. (C)

We cut away to a shot of each man just staring back at one another, their eyes filled with hatred for the other, and their faces as focused as can be, you can tell this match will be anything but a friendly match.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 2nGUZ

They continue to bad mouth one another until finally the referee calls for the bell and without a moments notice Ted makes a bee-line right for McGillicutty! Michael retreats back into the corner holding onto the ropes with a grin, sure that Ted being a goody goody that he won't break any rules, but he soon finds out that he's wrong as Ted reaches him and begins to pound away at him with a barrage of stiff rights and lefts, Michael shouts out for the referee to do his job as he tries to block the shots by covering his head with both arms, but that still doesn't stop him. The referee finally has to do his job and perhaps disqualify Ted with the start of the usual five count.

1......

Still firing away the referee has no choice but to continue.

2........

3..........

It's as if Ted can't hear or see anything but Michael as he continues to ignore the referees persistent warnings.

4..........

Not wanting to end this match by disqualification so soon, the referee opts out of finishing the count and pushes himself inbetween Ted and the cornered Michael McGillicutty. He pushes Ted back pointing at his shirt and warning him if he doesn't listen he'll be disqualified. Maryse watches the match closely, her attention sparked by her boyfriend's rebellion of the rules.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 JqSv3

[JR]
Ted better keep cool, he doesn't wanna get disqualified.

[King]
In this case that may be easier said than done.

[Michael Cole]
I don't care what the reason, he has to follow the rules just like anyone else.

The referee tends to Michael making sure he's alright after the unhinged attack from Ted DiBiase. Antsy to do much more Ted shouts and tightens his fists as Michael milks the referee's positioning for as long as he can.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 M1JNI

Finally sick of waiting, Ted grabs the referee by his shirt shoving him aside and gets back on the assault as Michael lowers down into the corner with each striking blow. Defenseless and with nowhere to go all Michael can do is shield himself from the incoming strikes the best he can. The shoved aside referee quickly goes back over to Ted ordering him to stop or he'll be disqualified. Ted still ignores him despite being warned sternly, this causes the referee to have to once again start his count.

4.........

Still refusing to stop Ted's shoved back by the referee again and this time gets yelled at. He's warned if he does that one more time he'll not hesitate to disqualify him and Ted just responds with an angered glare as he's forced off into the distance while the referee tends to Michael once again.

[Michael Cole]
So much for following the rules, I knew Ted's act would be exposed sooner or later, and his blatant disregard for the referee's authority could not be more disrespectful.

[King]
I don't think it's a disregard for the official, more of an obsession with beating the hell out of the man that put his father in a hospital bed.

[JR]
We knew the emotions would be high tonight, I just hope that Ted can get a handle over his feelings because if he can't, he might not be disqualified, but he could cost himself the dream he fought so long to achieve.

Michael sees his opening and rushes past the referee at Ted with a clothesline in mind. Ted sees it coming and delivers a hip toss before continuing to repeatedly punch Michael, who tries to cover up yet again, in the face. The ref is forced to interject again, pulling Ted off of Michael. Maryse can be heard shouting at the ref in french as Michael begins to make it to his feet. Ted runs at him only to be hit with a drop toehold, going face first into the middle turnbuckle. Taking advantage of the situation, Michael grabs Ted's head and begins slamming it against the middle turnbuckle repeatedly. Yet again, the ref is forced to put himself between both competitors, pulling Michael away from Ted. Michael looks at Maryse and winks at her before walking towards Ted. He begins to stomp away at the fallen Ted DiBiase for what must seem like an eternity. Michael finally stops before letting out a “That's what I'm talking about.” which forces the crowd to boo him. He begins walking around the ring, absorbing the boos from the live audience before turning into a clothesline from a now even more pissed off Ted. Michael rises to his feet, only to be dropped by another clothesline. Michael rises a second time and gets hit with an inverted atomic drop before getting leveled be a stiff right hand. Ted stomps on Michael's gut, forcing him to sit up, and runs towards the ropes with a boot to the face in mind. Michael avoids contact and manages to roll up Ted for the first pinfall of the match.

[Michael Cole]
Michael may have him here!

1.....

Just as quick as the first count is made Ted pops his shoulders off the canvas and tackles Michael to the floor once again going to town on him with a relentless assault.

[JR]
Ted's back on the attack and Michael just can't get any momentum in this match, it looks like his dirty deeds this past month might come back to bite him after all.

[King]
He needs to channel that anger though, getting disqualified won't do him any favors.

Michael yells out "get this animal off me!" to the referee, and just a few seconds later, when Ted shows no signs of stopping the referee once again intervenes in Ted's attack ordering him to cease what he's doing. But just like the other two times Ted shows he could care less about what the referee wants, because what he wants is to continue, and so he does forcing the official to tease a disqualification for the third time in this early match.

But the attack quickly comes to a screeching halt as Michael finds an opening during the assault to thrust a thumb straight into the eye of the champion blinding him and giving him the opening to turn it all around on Ted now. He quickly gets up to his feet and connects with a boot straight to DiBiase's face then begins to repeatedly stomp all over him shouting at him now that the tide has turned. The referee warns Michael to let up and he does, he backs away with Ted holding his chest in pain, Maryse walks over to the ropes where he is, she places her hand on him making sure he's okay, but that's when Michael walks back over to the two, and instead of continuing the attack on Ted, he looks at Maryse, extends his hand up to his face before blowing a kiss right at her. She scoffs wanting nothing to do with him, but Ted saw this right in front of his eyes, and jumps to his feet spearing Michael to the mat knocking the smile right off his face and again begins to continuously direct hard lefts to the temple. Michael manages to place his foot on the ropes knowing the referee will once again have to come to his aid, but before he can Ted suddenly stops, grabs Michael by his hair pulling him up to eye level, then plants his feet on the mat firmly before throwing Michael with as much force as possible straight into the corner! Ted then turns and runs off the top rope gaining momentum for whatever he has in mind, but just when he's about to connect with a jumping forearm, Michael ducks down, Ted's arms connects with the turnbuckle pad, and Michael takes the advantage by shoving him into the corner and bending his arm inbetween the ropes causing DiBiase to yell out due to his arm bending in way it wasn't meant to.

The official gets right on Michael ordering him to stop, and when he doesn't he begins to count but this time in Ted's favor.

4......

Suddenly Michael lets go and smiles simply mouthing "five" with an arrogant grin following that cocky comment.

[Michael Cole]
Haha! I love it.

[King]
You were just on Ted for not following the rules and now you're praising Michael's actions?

[JR]
Regardless of whether it was right or not it got the match turned around in his favor.

Michael begins stomping on Ted's arm repeatedly until he picks him up and wraps Ted's arm around the top rope before falling backwards, causing Ted to scream in pain. With Ted now holding his arm on the mat, Michael takes advantage of the situation and picks Ted up off the mat and tosses him shoulder first into the ring post. Michael exits the ring and grabs Ted's arm, only to slam it against the ring post a few times. Michael tries to do it one more time but Ted somehow manages to use his strength to force Michael to go face first into the ring post. He falls back onto the mat gripping his arm as Michael is holding his head on the outside.

[King]
This match has been aggressive from the get go!

[JR]
These two men don't like each other very much, that's for certain.

Both men make it to their feet almost simultaneously with Michael using the barricade, still holding his head, and Ted using the ropes, still holding his arm. They lock eyes but before Michael can react, Ted is already halfway through the ropes and drops Michael with a suicide dive. The live audience lets out a loud “DiBiase!” chant as some fans in the front row begins patting Ted on the back. A smile appears on the face of Maryse as Ted lifts Michael up to his feet before forcefully throwing him into the barricade. The ref begins the count as Ted begins to punch Michael repeatedly.

2...

Ted stops for a moment to catch his breath as he and Maryse mock McGillicutty. Maryse throwing in some smack talk saying "You'll never be good enough for me!"

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 9O8yN

3...

Maryse puts her hand in Michaels' face and shoves his head into the barricade. The ref yells at Maryse "Back it up Maryse! Hands off!" Maryse throws her hands in the air innocently as she grinned at McGillicutty's limp body and retook her spot at ringside

4...

Michael begins showing life and makes it to his feet using the barricade once again. Ted notices this and tries to put a stop to it.

5...

Ted walks over to Michael only to get met with a swift kick to the gut. He proceeds to throw him into the ring post but Ted manages to stop before he collided with the post.

6...

Michael rushes at Ted, only for Ted to move and go face first into the post for the second time in this match.

[JR]
That counts getting too close for comfort, they better get back in the ring before the referee can finish.

[Michael Cole]
See this is why Ted DiBiase shouldn't be World Heavyweight Champion, he's ignoring every call the referee makes.

[King]
I think that just shows where his focus lies.

7...

Maryse yells at Ted that the count is on seven and to get into the ring. Ted picks Michael up and throws him into the ring before sliding in himself. Michael scurries over to the corner to get a much needed breather, and as soon as Ted attempts to over to him the referee once again tries to block his path and order him back. Ted stands still waiting for the slowly rising Michael to get out of the corner, but it's clear he's taking his time, he holds his face in pain over exaggerating as if he has an injury, this causes the referee to walk over to him to check on him, Ted's patience begins to run out, he paces the ring back and forth until finally the referee backs away and Michael begins to step out of the corner, Ted comes charging at him, but in response Michael backs into the corner again and a smug expression appears on his when the referee gets in between him and the charging Ted forcing him back. Ted yells out "Are you freaking kidding me?! at the referee, who just responds with a raised hand wanting Ted to remain back while Michael's in the corner. The referee then orders Michael out of the corner, he massages his jaw for a second before starting to step out.

[JR]
Michael's sure taking full advantage of the ropes isn't he?

[Michael Cole]
Why shouldn't he? That nutcase is liable to seriously injure him!

[King]
If you ask me I'd say he deserves to be roughed up for his actions this month.

[Michael Cole]
Just because you're biased doesn't mean the referee is. There are rules to adhere to and regardless of any animosity between the two they've both got to follow them.

Ted waits all the way on the opposite side of the ring, his foot tapping on the mat impatiently until finally Michael's out of the corner and the referee backs away from them. Ted stares at him with an angered expression, which Michael returns with a proud smile. They circle the ring eyeing one another until finally they start to lock up for the first time this match, Michael steps on Ted's foot in order to gain control now switching to a side head lock, he wrenches the hold for a few seconds until Ted pushes him off sending him rebounding off the ropes, Ted kneels down perhaps looking for a back body drop, but Michael suddenly stops just before he got to him. Ted looks back up only to be met with a hard disrespectful slap right across his face!

[King]
Oh! Now that wasn't a wise decision.

[Michael Cole]
Why not? I personally loved it!

[JR]
If looks could kill Michael would be six feet under right now...

Michael laughs in his face before Ted returns the favor and slaps him back. Before Michael could react, Ted lifts him up on his shoulders and slams him into the corner before delivering repeated shoulder blocks to Michael's gut.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 HHoVC

He stops and grips Michael's jaw very tightly before shouting “You think this is a game!?” at him. The ref again is forced to insert himself between both men, giving Michael the opening needed to slap Ted one more time before quickly exiting the ring and taunting Ted from the outside. The ref begins his count as Ted is standing behind him, seemingly about to blow a gasket. Michael casually walks around the ring as the refs count reaches three and walks over to Maryse. Ted tries to exit the ring but the ref doesn't allow him. Maryse move a few steps back as Michael extends his hand towards her, she doesn't accept it and walks around to the opposite side of the ring. Michael shrugs as the refs count is up to six now and walks over to Ted's World Championship and his Money in the Bank briefcase near the announcers table. Ted tries to exit the ring again but the ref won't allow it.

[JR]
What the hell is he doing?

[Michael Cole]
Mind games, JR, mind games.

[King]
Looks to me like he's running away like he has a lot in this match.

Michael makes himself comfortable near the ringside area as the refs count is now at seven. He sits down near the time keeper with Ted's Championship over his shoulder and his Money in the Bank briefcase on his lap. He begins having a conversation with the time keeper as the refs count reaches eight. Ted slides out the ring without the refs knowledge and is forced to restart the count. Michael doesn't notice Ted running at him as he is still chatting with the time keeper, who motions to Michael that Ted is running towards them. With no time to react, Michael and the time keeper are both leveled by Ted, who jumped over the barricade with another suicide dive.

[JR]
Bah gawd, Ted just flew right onto them!

[Michael Cole]
That was completely uncalled for!

With all three men down, the ref continues his count, which is at two now, as Maryse looks on, with her hand over her mouth. Michael pushes Ted off of him and begins crawling out of the time keepers booth. Ted makes it to his feet, still feeling the effects of his dive and is now in pursuit of Michael. Ted lets his anger get the better of him as he fell right into Michael's trap and gets kicked in the knee, forcing him to hit the side of the announcers table as he falls. Michael rises to his feet as a sinister smile creeps across his face as Maryse looks on in horror. He looks over towards Maryse again and winks at her before shifting his focus back at Ted, stomping on his arm and body. With now the tables seemingly turned, Michael lifts Ted to his feet and begins slamming his head on the announcers table as the refs count reaches five. Michael rolls into the ring only to roll back out to break the count, forcing the ref to restart his count yet again. Michael grabs Ted and forcefully tosses him into the same barricade he was tossed into earlier in the match. He then walks back over to the announcers table, puts a headset on and takes a seat next to Michael Cole.

{McGillicutty}
Mind if I join you guys?

[Michael Cole]
Not at all, Michael, it's always nice to talk to the next World Champion.

[JR]
Shouldn't you be trying to win the championship instead of playing games with Ted?

[King]
The refs count is at six, Michael.

{McGillicutty}
It's always nice to have some support around here, Cole.

[Michael Cole]
Anytime, Michael.

{McGillicutty}
As for you JR, shouldn't you be calling the match instead of criticizing what I do in my matches?

[JR]
Well, I would if you weren't too busy playing announcer.

[Michael Cole]
Cut him some slack, he's just having fun because he knows he could win at any time. And what kind of Pay-Per-View will it be if the Main Event only goes for five minutes?

{McGillicutty}
Exactly! Why would end this match as soon as possible, when I could have a little fun?

[King]
It's now at seven.

{McGillicutty}
It's been nice chatting with you, Cole, time to finish what I started. Oh, and I'll make sure to get a good shot in for The Miz since Ted did put him on the shelf.

Michael removes the headset and rises from his seat. He walks towards the ring, only to slide in then quickly back out yet again, annoying the ref as he has to restart his count. Michael grabs Ted by his head and motions to the announcers to move, which they don't hesitate to do so, then throws Ted with so much force that he bounces off the table and onto the barricade behind it. Ted holds his back in pain while the fans direct deafening boos straight at Michael McGillicutty. Ted tries to pull himself up to his feet, but Michael puts a stop to any comeback he may have had in mind by grabbing hold of his hair and bashing his skull off the announce table over and over until Ted slumps down to his knees hunched over the table just barely conscious. The referee's count reaches a solid five now, and Michael turns his attention to the ring once again rolling under the ropes to break the count, and just as quick as he enter he soon leaves again with more punishment in mind for Ted DiBiase. The referee stops him however as he exits yelling at him to get back in the ring, but Michael just smirks having no intention of doing so just yet, but that momentary distraction was just what Ted needed, as the fans notice he's regained his composure, but then he quickly slumps back down before Michael is any the wiser.

McGillicutty grins as he notices Ted's still right where he wants him, he then proceeds to lean over the table to grab Ted for whatever he has in mind, but DiBiase was laying and waiting for this very moment as he quickly grabs Michael locking hold of his head pulling him all the way over the table with his feet hanging off of one side, and his head on the other, Ted then begins to lay into him with hard knee shots right to the temple, each one is delivered quicker than the last, and the fans begin to count along with each strike! 1....2....3....4....5...6....7...8....9....they stop as Ted does, he then backs up pushing the chairs aside before running forward lifting up the knee and delivering a tenth final shot as Michael goes limp from the devastating blows. Ted makes his way around the table before grabbing Michael by his leg and yanking him off the table sending him falling face first on the outside mat. The referee's count reaches seven and Ted takes a page out of McGillicutty's playbook by quickly rolling under into the ring, straight back out causing the referee to have to again restart his count.

Michael, King, and JR all take their position back at the table now that the action has seemingly left their area. Ted looks down at Michael holding his face in pain, that's when Ted kneels down grabbing at the protective flooring and begins to tear a fairly large patch off exposing the concrete floor below.

[Michael Cole]
Hey! You're not supposed to do that!

[JR]
Honestly Cole I doubt he cares, recently we've seen a whole new side of Ted DiBiase, and it's as if he wants nothing more than to truly hurt Michael for everything he's done.

Even Maryse has a look of surprise as she looks off from the distance at a sight she's not used to seeing, her boyfriend showing this aggressive nature. Ted pulls Michael up by his head then begin to pound on his back with clubbing shots, then throws his arm over his shoulder and grabs the hem on his trunks for a suplex, but Michael knows this is gonna hurt like holy hell so he tries his best to struggle out of this predicament, he lands a hard knee straight into the gut of the World Champion then grabs hold of his waist band trying to turn this around on Ted, but Ted fights much like he did, starts to lift him up in the air, but Michael soon lands back to his feet before he pulls Ted off the floor and drops him straight onto the concrete with a modified gordbuster! Ted lets out instant sounds of anguish as he holds his ribs in pain screaming out and writhing on the floor causing Michael to let out a sinister grin.

[JR]
Good lord that was nasty!

[Michael Cole]
Karma at it's finest! Now get him in the ring and realize your destiny, Michael!

[King]
Ted looks hurt....He might need medical attention.

[Michael Cole]
Serves him right, he could've seriously injured McGillicutty.

Michael showboats to the crowd for a few seconds before picking up Ted's lifeless carcass and throwing him towards the nearby steps like a dart. The sickening sound of flesh meeting steel is heard all the way up to the cheap seats as Michael enters and exits the ring, forcing the ref to break the count yet again. Michael walks over to Ted, who is still feeling the effects of the gordbuster on the concrete floor and being thrown into the ring steps, and puts Ted's right arm inbetween the steps and the ring post. He takes a few steps back and winks at Maryse, who is in a state of shock as she knows what Michael has planned, before running at Ted and kicking the steps as hard as he possibly can, forcing Ted to scream in pain.

[JR]
He could've just damn near broken his arm!

[Michael Cole]
Wonderful, just wonderful! Look at the ruthless aggression, he's gonna make a fine champion.

[King]
I wouldn't write Ted off just yet, he's proven to be a tough superstar in the past.

With Ted still on the floor, holding his hurt arm, Michael picks up the top part of the ring steps and tosses it aside for now. He takes the bottom half and positions it in a way that he sees fit. Michael forces the ref to break the count again, pissing off the annoyed referee even more. He now picks up Ted and throws his arm over his head then follows up with hooking the leg. The crowd boos as they know what Michael has in store for the leader of the DiBiase Posse. Ted tries to fight out of it but to no avail. Michael lifts him over his head and both men come crashing down on the steps with a huge Perfectplex. Ted is laid out on the steps as Michael is seen grabbing the back of his head as it seems he hit the corner of the steel steps.

[Michael Cole]
Quick we need medical attention!

[King]
About time you show some compassion.

[JR]
Ted's back met that steel in the most sickening way possible!

[Michael Cole]
What? Ted? I'm talking about Michael.

With the refs count now up to four, both men begin to show life as Michael is the first to his feet, using the ring apron as leverage. He stumbles over to Ted and lifts him up to his feet before rolling him into the ring. Michael quickly enters and goes for the cover.

[JR]
This could be it!

[Michael Cole]
Winner and NEW!!!

Kickout!

[Michael Cole]
What?! How'd he kick out?!

[King]
That's one of the things that always amazes me about him. Say what you want about Ted but everytime he steps into that ring he fights until he's got nothing left.

Somehow Ted manages to get his shoulder up before the three count. Michael is livid as he believes that he should be the World Champion right now. He stands to his feet and begins arguing with the ref, saying that it was a slow count. This gives Ted the opening need to land a swift Dream Street on Michael before going for the pin.

[Michael Cole]
No!!!

[JR]
This could be it, Michael didn't expect that!

1...

[King]
Michael's out!

2...

Michael manages to put is foot on the rope before the three count, forcing the ref to stop his count.

[JR]
My god I can't believe it. What ring awareness by the number one contender. I don't like this man's tactics but that right there was impressive.

[Michael Cole]
Yes! And that folks is why he's leaving this match as World Champion!

[JR]
I wouldn't get ahead of yourself, Cole.

It is now Ted's turn to go off on the referee as Michael rises to his feet and runs towards Ted with a running dropkick in mind. Ted notices Michael behind him on the TitanTron and avoids impact but the ref wasn't so lucky.

[King]
The referee's knocked out!

[JR]
Business is about to pick up!

The referee falls through the ropes with his head bouncing off the outside mat. Now with the ref temporarily out of commission, a smile appears on the faces of both men. They know that it's now anything goes for the time being and they don't have to worry about the refs count. They circle around each other for a few seconds before rushing at one another and begin delivering an array of stiff right hands to the other. Just as it seems Ted would have the upper hand, Michael stomps on Ted's foot before landing a hard dropkick, leveling the third generation superstar. He begins stalking Ted from across the ring, perhaps setting up for his infamous McGillicutter. Ted manages to spin out of it and lock in the Million Dollar Dream. Michael shoots Ted over his shoulder and run at him with a clothesline in mind. Ted ducks it and runs to the opposite side of the ring. Both men bounce off the ring ropes almost simultaneously only to crash and burn with a double crossbody.

[Michael Cole]
They just took each other out!

[JR]
Both men had the same idea, and the result wasn't pretty.

[King]
Wait, what's Maryse doing?

With the ref still down, Maryse grabs Michael's Money in the Bank briefcase and enters the ring in an attempt to help Ted. Michael makes it to his feet slightly faster than Ted as he was using the ropes and turns around only to see Maryse attempt to knock him back down with the briefcase. Michael ducks the incoming attack and Maryse ends up hitting Ted, who had just made it to his feet.

[Michael Cole]
I knew it! Cover him Michael, claim your prize and your girl!

[JR]
I don't think Maryse meant to do that. Just look at her face, she can't believe he ducked.

[Michael Cole]
They're just great actors! I knew it all along, you thought she actually had feelings for someone like Ted DiBase, but I knew better!

The look on Maryse's face tells a story as she wasn't expecting Michael to duck. Michael is on his knees a few feet behind her, laughing at what he just witnessed, and makes it to his feet. He stumbles over towards her, still laughing. He nods at her before shouting at Ted, “See, I told you I was going to take your girl.” He turns back towards Maryse, only to get leveled by his own briefcase as Maryse shouts at him in French.

[King]
Still think it's great acting, Cole?

[Michael Cole]
Hey! What the hell does she think she's doing, she's not a part of this match!

[JR]
You had no problem when she accidentally hit Ted.

[Michael Cole]
I....Shut up, JR!

Ted starts to stir on the mat, he shakes his head still feeling the effects of that hard case shot right to the skull. Maryse notices this and quickly runs over to Ted, she grabs his arm trying to get him to stand up, she points at the completely knocked out Michael McGillicutty shouting "Cover!! Cover him!" Ted looks over in his desolate state, but then quickly turns to Maryse and shakes his head mouthing "no." She goes off at him yelling Michael's right there, but Ted still sits shaking his head, implying he's not taking any win that isn't by his own doing.

[JR]
If you didn't already have such huge respect for Ted DiBiase, you have to now...Anyone else might have even been tempted, but he doesn't want to win like that.

[Michael Cole]
That's why Ted won't last on top, had Michael been met with the same situation he'd have taken it.

[King]
I think that just speaks volumes about Ted's integrity.

Ted rises to his feet and puts his foot on the bottom rope before raising the middle rope, motioning to Maryse to exit. She looks at him with an “Are you serious” expression before exiting. Not knowing that Maryse left the briefcase inside the ring, Ted is unaware that said briefcase is now in the hands of Michael, who has made it to his feet and is waiting for Ted to turn around. Maryse motions to Ted, telling him to turn around, only for Michael to take him down with a shot to the face.

[King]
Michael just used the Money In The Bank briefcase!

[Michael Cole]
Can we get a new referee already? Michael is just seconds away from becoming champion!

[JR]
Because he used an illegal object.

[Michael Cole]
It's only illegal if you get caught.

With the ref still down and unaware of his surroundings, Michael's mind hatches a sinister idea. He opens the briefcase and puts Ted's hurt arm inside the briefcase before stomping on it unmercifully for what must seem like an eternity for Ted, who is now screaming in pain. Michael removes the briefcase from around Ted's arm and closes it as he puts it under the bottom turnbuckle, perhaps to use it later on in the match.

[JR]
Good lord that's not what the case was meant to be used for!

[Michael Cole]
I love it, imagine if he could make Ted tap out, the ultimate embarrassment.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 HEOLj

Ted lies on the mat clutching at his arm, he continues to let out screams in pain as Michael looks down with a very devilish smile. He quickly grabs hold of Ted's arm yanking it outward, Ted screams "No!" but he does it anyways jerking it downward and slamming it against the hard mat! Michael kneels downward looking at Ted, then grabs hold of his arm again stretching it almost out of the socket. Ted pleads with him in more pain than ever, that's when Michael suddenly and gently places his arm flat on the mat and backs away. Ted lets out a sigh of relief, not sure if he was able to endure any more damage to that arm, but then Michael charges forward jumping off the mat and stomping right on the arm! Ted lets out a traumatic and unnerving scream as he quickly grabs hold of his arm still screaming out.

[JR]
Oh that did not sound good...

[King]
Michael's been going back to that arm since the get go, and I'm not sure if Ted can take much more.

With Ted helplessly holding his arm, Michael's sinister smile returns as the fans continue to boo his head off, it's clear they're worried about the fan favorite, Ted DiBiase, and with the horrific sounds he's letting out that's easily understood. Michael drops down to the mat rolling to the outside, then reaches under the ropes grabbing Ted by his good arm and dragging him closer. The fans look confused as they have no idea what this bastard has planned next, but they just know it won't be good. He pulls him over to the corner then lets go of him and begins to work on the second turnbuckle pad. He unties it just a little bit so it's loose, then goes on the other side of the steps grabbing Ted's injured arm and despite Ted trying to fight it, it's just no use. Michael slips his arm through the opening between the turnbuckle pad, then begins to tie it back tighter and tighter until Ted's as helpless as he's ever been.

[JR]
...What the hell?

[Michael Cole]
I've never seen anything like this! What a genius!

[King]
Ted's arm is completely trapped!

Despite being called every name in the book by the hatred spewing crowd, Michael still smiles, then throws the ring apron up and begins searching for something. He moves things around until he peeps his head out from under the apron, looks around noticing the referee's still out of commission, then slowly and manically pulls a steel chair out from under the ring. Ted pleads with him from the outside, shaking his head over and over, and when he realizes Michael's plan, he quickly tries to use his free arm to untie the tightly tied turnbuckle pad. Michael slowly slides into the ring, taking his time, enjoying the moment and fear on his long time rival's face. He's never been in such control over Ted, and you can tell he loves every single second of it. As he steps closer, Ted tries to kick at him but they do no damage, Michael then runs the chair along Ted's arm letting him feel the steel, the thing that's going to destroy his arm in just a minute. Michael then backs away holding the chair out almost as if it were a sick and twisted version of baseball.

[JR]
What a sick son of a bitch...

[Michael Cole]
Who's biased now, JR!?

[JR]
Biased has nothing to do with this, it's just wrong on so many levels...He's taking pleasure out of this!

[King]
I should go comfort Maryse, she looks terrified!

Maryse places her hands slightly over her eyes, as she doesn't want to see much less hear her boyfriend in pain anymore. She just stands there helpless, knowing nothing she could do would stop this. It might delay it but, she won't be able to stop this sick man's act of cruelty. Michael starts to swing back, but just as he's about to make contact, and Ted braces himself for what he knows is gonna hurt like holy hell, Michael stops. Perhaps he's showing restraint, maybe he's not sick enough to go through with something this inhumane? He drops the chair, then exits the ring, the fans are confused, and he soon makes his way over to the time keepers area asking for a microphone. He starts to raise it up, perhaps to say something, but instead he lowers it, then slides back into the ring, starts to raise it up again as he gets closer to Ted, but then lowers it again, and with a grin, he places the microphone on Ted's other shoulder. McGillicutty grabs the chair from the mat, then raises it up just as he had before, with the same twisted look of pleasure on his face.

{Ted DiBiase}
No!! Please!

It's clear now why he placed the microphone there, it's so his screams will echo throughout the entire arena. The fans look in horror as Ted continues to beg but that's when Michael charges forward slamming the chair against his unprotected arm!

{Ted DiBiase}
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!OH GOD! MY ARM! MY ARM!

[JR]
This is very unsettling...

[Michael Cole]
Okay this is going a bit too far...Just get the referee up and cover him Michael, he's going a little overboard with this.

[King]
Overboard? Ted's arm may never be the same again!

With the crowd booing the loudest they have so far tonight, Michael responds by placing his finger up to his mouth shushing them. Then as Ted's eyes begin to swell from the pain he's in, Michael swings yet again making a sickening sound!

{Ted DiBiase}
YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!

He continues to scream out with his arm still trapped and nowhere to go Michael starts to swing once more, but then out of the corner of his eye, he notices Maryse has climbed onto the apron! Maryse begins to yell "Hey! Hey!!" Michael slowly puts down the chair and looks at Maryse a little confused. Maryse just puts her index finger up and signals for him to come closer. Michael slowly walks over to Maryse and stops in front of her. We can see him say "I knew you'd come around." Michael then places his hand on Maryse's cheek and strokes her face with his thumb. Maryse looked pretty into in until all of the sudden, she raises her right hand and delivers a hard slap to the face of Michael McGillicutty! McGillicutty backs up and grabs the side of his face as Maryse gives him the hand. Michael puffs out of frustration. He turns back to Ted, who takes a well deserved chance to grab the microphone with his free hand and knock the bejeezus out of Michael with a straight shot right across the face! As the fans go wild for the short act of retribution. The microphone then falls out of his hand rolling under the rope and eventually to the floor. The ref is now managing to get to his knees as Michael staggers back while holding his face, then lets out an angered battle cry charging forward and repeatedly kicking his arm with quick and painful shots right after the other until the referee turns around, sees this and runs sliding into the ring pulling Michael off of him and yelling at him.

[JR]
It's about time!

[Michael Cole]
Let it be known that this has to be the most fragile referee we have employed.

[King]
Well at least he's up now, I don't think Ted could have taken one more shot from that chair.

After verbally laying into McGillicutty the referee turns his attention to DiBiase, he kneels down and begins to untie the turnbuckle pad eventually loosening it enough so he can slowly pull Ted's arm out from the constricted location. The referee favors Ted's arms gingerly, realizing he's in a lot of pain. The referee backs up just a bit so Ted can stand up, it takes him a little longer than normal due to the condition his arms' in. He is then asked if he wants to continue. Teds nods before turning his attention to McGillicutty and shouting "I only need one arm!" which causes Michael to stare in anger at the fact that he hasn't broken Ted's spirit like he thought. Once the ref makes sure Ted's positive he wants to continue one last time, he backs away signaling this match will be continuing. Ted's arm hangs to the side, he stares at Michael with pure hatred flowing through his veins, as the two circle one another.

You can feel the anger radiating off of Ted as Michael is shown with a smile on his face, knowing he has the advantage. Michael shoots for the legs, almost playing around with the World Champion. He mimics Ted's possible injury by holding his arm and pretending to be in pain. Irritated, Ted runs at Michael in hopes of hitting a clothesline with his good arm but Michael ducks and lands a swift punch to Ted's gut, forcing him down to one knee. Michael then turns to run off the ropes, but stops halfway when he sees Ted run past him. He turns around, only to be met with Ted's signature rebound clothesline, and gets turned inside out, giving Ted the advantage momentarily.

[JR]
Good lord that was a hell of a clothesline!

[King]
You ain't kidding, JR!

Michael quickly makes it back to his feet, runs at Ted with something in mind, but Ted ducks down using his good arm to tossing McGillicutty overhead with a huge backbody drop! Ted drops to his knees and begins holding his arm in pain, still feeling the effects of Michael's attack throughout the match. Michael uses the ropes for leverage once again, lifting himself up, as Ted makes it to his feet as well. The smile that was once on Michael's face disappears and is replaced with his usual look of hatred, signaling the end of games being played. They circle around each other once again, only this time, Michael is out for blood. Ted swings with his good hand but wildly misses as Michael kicks Ted's knee, then runs ricocheting off the ropes with a running dropkick in mind, but Ted with some quick thinking is able to grab a hold of his arm sending him crashing down to the mat with a huge hip toss.

[Michael Cole]
Come on, Michael!

[JR]
The World Champion is mounting a comeback and I think it's surprised Michael more than anyone.

The fans go crazy at the fact that Ted's got himself back in this match, he holds his arm in pain for a second before picking Michael up and throwing him to the nearest turnbuckle with a hard Irish Whip. Ted walks over to Michael and punches him a few times in the face then follows up with lifting and placing him on the top turnbuckle. He climbs up to the second rope with a Superplex possibly in mind. Just as Ted was about to attempt it, Michael lands a few good shots to Ted's gut, successfully stopping the Superplex attempt. Michael pulls Ted up to the top rope as the war for control begins. Both men, using the other to keep themselves balanced, begin unloading punch to any and every exposed body part. Just when it seemed that Ted would regain control, Michael manages to kick Ted's leg, forcing him to fall crotch first on the top turnbuckle. Michael uses Ted to keep himself from falling off the turnbuckle and crashing on the still exposed concrete floor. He positions himself on the second rope and lifts Ted up to his level, perhaps taking a page out of Ted's book by going for a Superplex. Instead, Michael hooks Ted's leg before forcing Ted off the top rope with a huge Perfectplex!

[JR]
Good god almighty!!

[Michael Cole]
High risk brings high reward, and I think Michael's just seconds away from the biggest reward of all!

Both men crash and burn on the mat as the ref begins the count and Maryse looks on in horror. That just goes to show you how much Michael wants to be the World Heavyweight Champion and it shows you what he's willing to do to get it.The ref makes it to five before Michael begins to show life and starts crawling towards Ted, who is mere inches away from him. He throws his arm over Ted's lifeless body as the ref drops down to make the count.

[King]
Ted's not moving!

[JR]
He's out, King!

Thr- No! Ted pops his shoulder off the canvas just as the referee was in position for the third strike of the mat.

[JR]
I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't witnessed it with my own eyes!

[Michael Cole]
There's just no way! That was it! That was Michael's moment, how the hell did he kick out?!

[King]
Michael's going absolutely mad!

We cut back in the ring where Michael pounds the mat with both closed fists, he lets out a loud frustrated scream, then turns his eyes to the referee, he's sure his count was slow, there's no way that Ted could have kicked out of that, surely the referee must have messed up in his mind...He rises up to his feet throwing up his hands shouting "that was three!" while the referee responds saying it was two. Frustrated more and more by each passing second, he turns his focus back to Ted, shouting at him "Give up already!" he shouts "Stop delaying the inevitable!" grabbing at his hair pulling on it as the aggravation sets in, Michael then starts to pull Ted up by his injured arm, he raises him up to eye level continuing to berate him, then with a hard toss sends him straight into the corner. He walks over to him landing several hard right hands, then begins to raise him off of the mat and places him seated on the top turnbuckle, perhaps looking for a second Perfectplex? Surely he can't kick out of two from this high elevation? Michael then tries to strike him with another hard punch, but Ted finally shows some life! He blocks the punch then lands a hard shot of his own! Michael instantly tries to strike him again but Ted blocks that meeting him with a swift forearm across the face, Michael bounces again leaning against the ropes, Ted looks around as the fans pop very loudly for what he might have planned to get back into this match, Ted then grabs hold of Michael, fighting through the pain and locking in the million dollar dream! Almost choking him with him lifted up in the air, he tries to lift him higher, looking for a huge Dream Street, but his arm finally gives way, his grip loosens and Michael jerks him by his arm wrenching it outward, then climbs up onto the second rope seating himself onto it before throwing his legs up wrapping them around Ted's arm, then sends them both rolling off the turnbuckle and crashing down to the mat with a unique variation of the cross armbreaker!

[Michael Cole]
Look at that! If that's not impressive then I don't know what it is!

[JR]
He's putting himself in harms way just to hurt Ted even more, talk about determination.

Now in the center of the ring, Michael wrenches on the injured arm as hard as he possibly can, causing Ted to let out a yell. Ted tries to claw to the ropes but to no avail as they are too far to reach. Locked in a cross armbreaker for what seems a lifetime, Ted begins to fade from the pain. The ref raises Ted's free arm before letting it go, only for it to crash on the mat. He raises it a second time but yields the same result. The ref raises it a final time as Michael's expression changes, knowing that if Ted's arm hits the mat, he will become the new World Champion. The ref releases Ted's arm but before it can hit the mat one more time, it stops inches short as Ted begins to show life once again.

[King]
I thought that was it!

[JR]
Tonight's match isn't just about the World Heavyweight Championship, it's about avenging his father and his best friend, two men that fell victim to Michael McGillicutty. Ted wants nothing more than to get payback, even at his own physical expense.

Ted begins motioning to the crowd, who start to cheer, allowing Ted to attempt to mount some sort of comeback. Using all his remaining strength, Ted tries one last ditch effort to reach the ropes, dragging Michael along with him. Michael pulls back as far as he can, temporarily stopping Ted's comeback for the moment. The pain becomes too much as he stops inches short of the ropes. If he can't reach them, all his hard work, all his dedication, and all his perseverance would have been all for nothing. A journey that lasted two long, grueling years will end in a heartbeat if submits to the bastard known as Michael McGillicutty. Using the last of his strength along with the cheers as motivation, Ted barely manages to reach the bottom rope, forcing Michael to break the hold or be disqualified.

[Michael Cole]
Will this guy just give up already? You can't be World Heavyweight Champion with a broken arm!

[JR]
I don't know how Ted managed to make it to the ropes, but bah gawd if it doesn't impress the hell outta me to see such heart in a young man like himself.

[King]
Now Michael's forced to break the very hold that might've been the end to it all.

The refs count all but reaches five as Michael lets go of the hold, using the five count to his advantage. He yells at the ref, “I have til FIVE!” before laughing in his face. The ref holds back Michael, allowing Ted to slowly but surely make it to his feet. The second he does, Michael charges at him at full speed only for Ted to lean backwards, holding on to the top rope, causing Michael to sail over the top rope and land on the still exposed concrete near the announcers table with a sickening thud.

[JR]
Right on the concrete!

[Michael Cole]
He's not moving! We need a medic! Damn that no good DiBiase, it was covered up for a reason!

[King]
A lucky break for Ted, he's gotta find a way to get back into this, Michael's been dissecting his arm for the better part of the match.

Ted stays in the ring for a few moments, possibly trying to catch his breath after Michael's seemingly endless assault. Michael hasn't moved since the collision with the concrete floor and now it is Ted who has the advantage. Ted exits the ring by rolling under the bottom rope and walks past Michael's still lifeless body. He rips off the top of the announcers table, tossing it aside and removes the monitors on the table. He lifts the dead weight that is Michael's body and places him on the announcers table as the live audience in attendance begins cheering at the top of their lungs. Ted climbs up to the apron before scaling the second turnbuckle, holding his arm, with something sinister in mind as the announcers scatter away from the scene.

[JR]
What the hell is Ted thinking?

[King]
He's about to risk it all!

[Michael Cole]
Get up Michael! Michael! Ted's gone mad, wake up!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 8SL8M

Ted remains standing on the turnbuckle for a few seconds, perhaps soaking in the seemingly endless amount of cheers or maybe the moment he has been waiting all month for. It's now or never as he flies off the middle turnbuckle and soars through the air. Time seems to slow down for this moment as cameras flash and every man, woman, and child are heard screaming at the top of their lungs before Ted successfully delivers an elbow drop through the announcers table. Ted is rolling around on the floor, holding his arm in pain yet again, as he may soon regret his decision to do what he did. Michael hasn't moved an inch since landing on the concrete, just imagine his condition now. Maryse's face lights up as she watches her boyfriend soar through the air, but her smile soon fades as her expression shifts to worry for Ted.

[JR]
OH MAH GAWD!

[Michael Cole]
He just practically committed suicide!

[King]
Would you just listen to these fans, they're going absolutely nuts!

A huge "Holy shit!" chant breaks out as every fan in attendance stands to their feet looking in shock at what just happened. After scanning the crowd for a few seconds we cut away to a view of Maryse walking over to the destroyed announce table to check on Ted.

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 7kbKa

Maryse places her hand on Ted's back, who is barely showing signs of life. She shouts out "Are you crazy?!" and Why'd you do that?!" but then she decides yelling at him won't do anything so she goes back to tending to him. The referee looks at the carnage on the outside then instead of counting both men out, he realizes neither are in the shape to possibly get back in before the ten. He then exits the ring ordering Maryse back and to not get involved, you can tell she's reluctant but not wanting to get sent to the back or worse cost Ted the match, she backs away going back over to the side of the ring. Ted starts to move around on the floor, he lets out a loud a painful screech as he tries to move his arm, the fans continue to cheer him on, and eventually he manages to sit up, and just looks over to his left where Michael McGillicutty still lies dead to the world. It takes him a few more seconds, but he fights through the pain in order to stand back on his feet, which causes the fans show a tremendous amount of support and respect for the hell he just put himself through for their entertainment and Michael's punishment. Ted struggles for a little bit more, then staggers his way over to where Michael lays, reaches down lifting the dead weight of his rival up just barely, then grips him by the back of his neck with his good arm, and after wincing he takes a deep breath gripping him by his trunks with the injured arm and manages to reach the ring apron where he rolls him under the bottom rope. After taking another breather, he grabs hold of his arm holding it closely, then backs up against the apron where he's able to then roll under the ropes and back into the ring. The referee soon follows and Ted crawls using his good arm to finally collapse on top of Michael and goes for the pin.

[JR]
He's got him covered, this might be it! Ted may have risked it all but it'll all be worth it if this can put Michael away for a three count.

[Michael Cole]
Even if he wins he's gonna vacate the title, that arms seen better days!

[King]
Here we go!

No!! By some unmerciless power Michael gets a second wind and flies his shoulder up!

Ted looks up at the ref, so sure of himself that it was a three count, but the ref waves it off as a two count. Ted expression changes as he doesn't know what to do to keep Michael down for the three count. He stands up and walks backwards towards the farthest corner, lowering his knee pad, most likely setting up his signature busaiku knee. Michael slowly rises to his feet, unaware of his surroundings, and turns around just as Ted starts running at him. Ted uses all his strength to jump up in the air, in hopes of landing his busaiku knee but out of instinct, Michael sidesteps it and almost as quick as lightning, strikes with his infamous McGillicutter.

[Michael Cole]
The McGillicutter!

[King]
Ted's out!

[JR]
But Michael looks too exhausted to capitalize.

Michael doesn't have the strength to capitalize on this possible match ending moment and instead chooses to catch his breath instead of wasting energy to make the cover. The ref is forced to start a double count and manages to reach six before Michael decides it's time to go on the attack once more. He makes it to his feet faster than Ted, forcing the ref to stop his count, and backs up into the corner, similar to Ted, almost stalking him for another McGillicutter. With the roles virtually switched, it is now Michael running towards his rival, only to get met with a huge sitdown spinebuster, courtesy of Ted. Both men are down once again, showing the effects of this prolonged war for revenge and glory.

[King]
What a counter from the World Champion!

[JR]
Cover him son!

With Michael still down and Ted now on his feet, instead of going for the cover, Ted hears the crowd chanting his name repeatedly and decides to go high risk one last time. He climbs up to the second rope, still favoring his arm, and raises his good arm in the shape of a fist.

[Michael Cole]
What's he doing?

[JR]
From the looks of it he's playing homage to his father's signature fist drop, but with his own spin on it!

[King]
Or to his favorite commentator!

[Michael Cole]
But King, I've never done a fist drop.

He looks down at Michael, who hasn't moved since the spinebuster, and jumps off with a huge fist drop in mind. Michael moves at the final second, causing Ted's hand to hit the mat with a ton of force. It was all part of Michael's plan as he was just lying there, biding his time, waiting for Ted to make a mistake.

[Michael Cole]
He got out of the way, attaboy Michael!

[King]
As if Ted wasn't in enough pain.

[JR]
It's at the point in this match where you just have to ask what more do these men have to do to put the other one away. Ted's arm is in bad shape, but still he's continued to fight through it.

[Michael Cole]
Michael's dealt with a great deal of damage to his skull as well, I still think he needed medical attention after his head bounced off the exposed concrete.

[JR]
It's a testament to how much the World Heavyweight Championship really means to these two. They're willing to risk it everything and all for the biggest prize in this company.

Both men slowly begin to rise up, feeling the effects of the unholy war they have been in and the hell they put each other through. They make it to their knees as they lock eyes and begin unloading rights on the other. Ted is the first to strike, causing Michael to almost fall backwards, but manages to keep his balance as he returns the favor and lands a hard right shot to Ted's jaw. Ted lands a hard shot as he makes it to one knee followed by Michael landing a right of his own. Ted holds his arm for a second before throwing another and is now on his feet. Michael does the same and now both men have made it to their feet but the punches don't stop there. With the fans clearly on Ted's side, the live audience shows its support for Ted with cheers every time he lands a well placed punch and does the complete opposite for Michael as they show their hatred for the third generation bastard.

Ted lands a stiff right hand which makes the crowd cheer at the top of their lungs. It's Michael's turn to go on the offensive and lands another right hand, which is met by boos from the live audience. Ted starts to gain control as he lands a trifecta of punches before Michael is able to block the fourth and return the favor with three punches of his own, forcing the crowd to go from cheers to boos in a heartbeat.

[JR]
These men are letting loose like a pack of wild animals!

Michael's overconfidence gets the better of him as he throws one punch too many, allowing Ted to duck it and lock in his fathers signature Million Dollar Dream submission hold. Knowing that the end might be near, Michael, using most of his remaining strength, throws Ted over his shoulder and almost mimicking Ted, locks in the Million Dollar Dream. If Ted taps to his fathers submission hold, it will be the ultimate form of humiliation for the third generation superstar.

[Michael Cole]
Michael's got Ted's own father's famous submission hold locked in! Imagine if Ted were forced to tap out right here!

[King]
I don't want to!

[JR]
Neither do these fans, but it doesn't look good for the World Champion...

The pain must be too much to take for Ted and adding the things his arm has been put through, will Ted call it quits and submit after it took him two long years to achieve his dream? Or will he endure the pain and break out of the submission attempt by Michael?

Ted, in a last ditch effort, puts his feet on the second turnbuckle and using all his strength, throws himself back, knocking both himself and Michael over, unfortunately for Ted, this also knocked the referee out of commission yet again. Michael refuses to release the submission hold and is put in a pinning situation with no official to count it, so the crowd voluntarily does the count for him.

{Crowd}
1...

{Crowd}
2...

{Crowd}
3!

[King]
Ted just got the three count!

{Crowd}
4!

[Michael Cole]
But it doesn't matter, the referee didn't count it!

{Crowd}
5!

[JR]
This is crazy, Ted would've just retained right now!

Michael releases the submission hold and is out on the mat, trying to regain his breath as Ted tends to his injured arm. A few moments pass and now Ted has made it to his feet, checking on the ref, as Michael is using the ropes as leverage. Michael is now on his feet and sees his opportunity to strike as Ted still has his back turned. He runs towards him, grabs his hurt arm and slams it into the mat with sickening force before quickly locking in a deadly Fujiwara Armbar on Ted's injured arm. He pulls back on Ted's arm farther than it should go. Ted tries to fight the urge to quit but the pain is too much, forcing Ted to slap his hand on the mat repeatedly, signaling a submission victory for Michael.

[Michael Cole]
Michael just made Ted tap out! He's the World Heavyweight Champion!

[JR]
Look again, Cole! The referee's still out.

[King]
This is unbelievable!

But it's not enough for Michael to simply force Ted to tap, he leaves the hold applied for another few seconds before releasing it and rising to his feet with his arm held high. He notices the ref is out cold and lets out an “Are you kidding me !?” Knowing there's nothing that can be done, he shrugs it off and slides out of the ring. He soon reaches the timekeeper's area and holds his hands out demanding the World title. They refuse at first, but he sees it in their lap and quickly snatches it and heads back toward the ring.

[King]
What's he doing? That's not his!

[Michael Cole]
Well it should be!

Michael begins to stalk the current World Champion one more time, ready to take him out with his own championship. Ted rises to his feet, still favoring his arm and ducks an incoming Michael McGillicutty, managing to land a Dream Street out of desperation.

[JR]
Ted ducked it!

[Michael Cole]
Dream Street! Ted DiBiase just hit Dream Street!

[King]
It's over! There's no way Michael's gonna kick out of that!

XWL Unforgiven: 5/27/2012 - 6/3/2012 - Page 4 Spoilers

Ted stands up, still holding his arm, and picks up his championship before shouting at Michael, “You're not going to cheat me out of this!” Just when it seemed the tables are turned in Ted's favor, a second ref had just slid into the ring and sees Ted, with his championship in hand, standing over Michael. Ted tries to explain what happened but before he could, the ref signaled for the bell.

[JR]
The referee just called for the bell! Did he just disqualify Ted?

[King]
But Michael's the one that tried to use it!

[Michael Cole]
Yes! Michael wins!

Michael's theme is heard around the arena to a chorus of boos from the live audience. Ted is still shown arguing with the ref as Michael starts to make it to his knees. Maryse is seemingly having mixed feelings about this as she is both happy Ted retained but almost angry at the way it went down, even though it wasn't intentional.

[Justin Roberts]
Here is your winner, by disqualification, Michael McGillicutty!

The boos following that announcement are almost too much for us to hear anything else but the spewing hatred from the pissed off fans.

[Justin Roberts]
However, still your World Heavyweight Champion, Ted DiBiase!

Michael sees Ted with his back turned and spots his Money in the Bank briefcase sitting safely under the bottom turnbuckle. He quickly grabs it and makes a beeline for Ted, who manages to spot him on the Titantron and is able to duck, forcing Michael to inadvertently take out the ref. Ted tries to capitalize yet again but Michael, taking a page out of Ted's book, spots Ted on the TitanTron and levels him with a briefcase shot to the face.

[JR]
Now that was uncalled for, what sore loser Michael is.

[Michael Cole]
Way to pay attention, JR. He won the match but not the title.

[King]
Well, however he did it, Ted is still the World Heavyweight Champion whether or not you like it Cole.

[Michael Cole]
If it wasn't for Ted forcing the ref to take the bullet for him, Michael would've been able to cash in and right this wrong. It just goes to show you the underhanded things Ted DiBiase is willing to do to keep his title.

[JR]
Underhanded? Michael brought the World Championship into play and in the end it did more harm than good.

[King]
And watch him complain on Redemption as if he got screwed.

[Michael Cole]
He did! But nonetheless thank you for joining us for our blockbuster Unforgiven Pay-Per-View. We'll be live on Pay-Per-View again in four weeks from Las Vegas, Nevada for Digital Decision, where you, the fans, will be in control. So have a good-

[JR]
Sorry to cut you off, Cole, but look at Michael!

Ted is laid out on the mat, quite possibly knocked out as Michael walks over to his lifeless carcass and picks up the World Heavyweight Championship. Maryse looks in shock at the events that transpired as Michael lifts both his Money in the Bank briefcase and the World Heavyweight Championship high above his head before Unforgiven goes off the air.

[This is better than Krzy's newsletter]

The commentary before the match was great as I expect, and I'm completely shocked at Ted having a new theme because it is breaking news to me. Ted's entrance was written well with aid of the pictures too, shame Maryse is here to ruin the match. MM having the tribute to his dad is nice but I'm not really sure if it's an unfamiliar theme, it's pretty iconic in wrestling. Nice heel work by him throwing the fans shit away. I like the old style match introductions giving it a big match feel. I expected Tedrick to go right for Gilly from his earlier promo and I like how Gilly moved back to frustrate him. Wait nvm Ted started hitting him like a mad cunt. Ted's completely zoned in which is dangerous for Gilly. We didn't need to see that screencap of Maryse btw, we know she's there, get her out. Ted throwing the ref away was unexpected. Stop shouting in French, Maryse. He doesn't know what you're fucking saying. I expect Gilly to hit a hard spot to slow Ted down soon, but Ted keeps the fire alive but the forward action nearly causes him to get quick pinned with the rollup. I think Ted might start losing his cool which will make him lose advantage of the match and the thumb to the eye proved that. Gilly acting like a pro heel and using the ropes and the ref to his advantage is awesome to see because it'll just get Ted more mad.

I knew the slap that he did to Ted would just make things worse for him, I love how much of a slick heel Gilly is being by just getting into Ted's head much more. I thought the spot where he went over and chilled with Ted's title on his shoulder was damn creative too. Ted going nuts and taking out Gilly and the time keeper was a cool spot, the match is hitting a more brutal pace now which is what I like to see. When he put on the headset and sat with the announcers I had an awesome flashback to Backlash 1999 with Rock doing something similar. Cole sucking up is always good to see and I love you for The Miz line <3. The ol' 'pulling the mat outside off to expose the concrete spot' is always nice. Along with putting Ted's arm into the steps and kicking it, must've taken some genius to string along those spots. The PerfectPlex on the steps is nasty. I like the image of both men being happy at the ref being knocked down because they're free to do whatever. Maryse accidentally hitting Ted was a good spot, and I thought how swervy it'd be if she did turn heel on Ted. Cole playing up that fact on commentary was great too.

Ted not taking the win by a hit from Maryse makes sense because she's a weak ass woman, but that decision could cost him. I like the case coming into play in the match. I cringed a bit at Ted's arm being flat out stomped on after the submission. Trapping Ted's arm in the turnbuckle ftw. The way he used the chair and then got the microphone so everyone could hear Ted scream is just such insane heel work. I thought at this point that someone would run in and help Ted. Smh at Maryse interfering in the match hitting Gilly like that, totally unfair. I knew when Ted had his chance to attack it'd be big. And now the match is to an intense continuation now that Ted's free and the ref is back. The turnbuckle PerfectPlex was brutal but picturing it was a cool image. I had a feeling there'd be a close submission spot on the arm, I wouldn't have been surprised if that was the end with Ted's arm like that. Gilly using the 'I have till FIVE!' phrase was nice as a little nod to his bum chum Daniel Bryan. That also reminds me that I thought Bryan would've made some sort of appearance in this match.

The Shane O' Mac elbow drop spot was slick, the match needed a definite high spot like this. It shows that no matter how hurt Ted will go to all lengths and back to end Gilly. The match has become an all out war now, I can sense that the brutal end is near. The knee spot into McGillicutter seemed smooth, not being able to capitalize on a pin shows how wrecked they are, lol. Ted being the crowd pleaser he is I thought that the fist drop would cause an end for him. The pin spot while the ref was down was good, a close moment. Along with the tapout for Gilly. Oh shit, I didn't expect the ref to DQ Ted like that. I thought the match would've continued somehow. I gotta admit the ending let me down, I feel kinda empty towards the end. I think McGillicutty had the PRIME opportunity to cash in and he left it, kind of an anti-climatic way to end the PPV.

Aside from that, the writeup was brilliant. Technical spots, high spots, brutal spots, Maryses' cleavage. Fair play to AJ and David for putting in that much effort.

Ted DiBiase
Oh, is he using Mitch now? Guess it’s not cool anymore. plain mischief: Honestly though I kinda got the ‘same ol’ Ted’ vibe while reading the first half of this promo because these are things he’s said before regarding McGillicutty, Maryse and the attack on is father, but at the same time it didn’t hurt having him reiterate it as there was some fresh material sprinkled in there and because it showed how much he cared and how much it’s been eating away at him for all these weeks. It’s the second half where things picked up because Ted showed that he can have an edge when necessary, and I’m not looking for him to act like a faux tough guy, because we all know deep inside Ted is the way he is, but the he acted was a nice change of pace and a nice way to mix things up from the usual and it showed your versatility that you can display while portraying Ted, so overall solid nice promo from you.

Kaitlyn/Michelle McCool
smh Fn

Cody Rhode/Zack Ryder
I always appreciate commentary that does a quick summary of the feud because it helped refresh my memory as I either missed the home invasion or plum forgot. As for the write up I really enjoyed reading it, it had a nice start with the brief brawl starting before the match and post match stuff was brutal and showed that Cody calling himself insane may not be just be a gimmick. What I like most was how you had Cody work on the arm and then played to in multiple times throughout the match. Only things is that towards the middle it seems you forgot to mention, or I guess Ryder shook the cobwebs out or something cause it wasn’t brought really brought up until after that double underhook move. I like the way it ended the match because it serves as a nice way to continue the feud, though I guess the post match stuff did too. Great write up here you guys, looking forward to seeing how this continues.

Davey Richards
I like this man up promo you had Davey do with him admitting straight up that Christian got the best of him, but that he’ll be ready sooner rather than later and he’s coming back to take his title. Also, like how you had things starts off with Davey showing humility in the beginning then how he kicked up the intensity to let the fans know that he’s still his same ol’ self.

Ted DiBiase/Michael McGillicutty
I really liked the story told in the beginning with Ted not looking to have an old-fashioned wrestling match, he doesn’t want to trade holds and apply submissions, he wants to beat McGillicutty up and that’s exactly what he tried to do at the risk of getting him disqualified several times. Also, liked how McGillicutty trolled several times by exaggerating an injury and making full of the ropes repeatedly during the match while also making moves at Maryse, chat up with the time keeper and join commentary it was a nice way to show the type of guy he is and how dedicated he is to depriving Ted of his pride, title and girl. It felt like every other match had a ref gets knocked out spot, and I really wish you guys would treat the referees with a little more compassion. Tough I admit, that I like how you guys set this us, you had The Ref bug both guys with his counts since the beginning of the match and now that he’s out you can’t help but feel happy that he’s won’t be around. Side note was that I was listening to Somebody Like You which made the Maryse hitting Ted spot a little lulzy…. shut up Neutral There was some creative spots in the match like DiBiase getting his arm tied in the pad and McGillicutty amplifying Ted’s scream with the mic because I ain’t never seen nothing like that before, so kudos to whoever came up with that. Once again the story you were able to tell and the spots you were able to string together were amazing things like Ted going for his father’s signature and the pin/submission moment it showed that you two really took the time out to plans things out, or it at least looked like you did. And this is probably just me being bitter at 7 in the morning but I really didn’t like having to scroll past three spoiler pics, nor was I really feeling the DQ ending. If the ref that was knocked out came to and make the call then it would have been different but a second ref coming at of nowhere to make the call really felt off, and yeah I agree this was as good a time as any to use the case, especially for someone who was so hell bent on winning the title and ruining Ted as McGillicutty, but I guess his body wasn’t ready. Other than that minor ish, this was a superb writeup and a fitting way to end what was a great PPV.
