ATTENTION PLEASE. Tonight is a rather important night. It is X-Treme X-Mas. The last show of the year! I mean... what a year we've had. We had the biggest Final Stand of all time with more buys than any other year! We had the brand split and a mega draft that launched the biggest episode of Breakdown in XWL history. We had The Rock make his grand return to the ring and win the World Heavyweight Championship. We had Ted DiBiase hung from the ceiling! On the other hand, we had Ted DiBiase bury The Undertaker alive. We had The Miz throwing Kevin Steen off a bridge. We had the return of Randy "Macho Man" Savage! The return of Eddie Guerrero! CM Punk confronted The Rock. We had D-Generation X breaking up and having a series of bloody battles. We had the epic feud of Ted DiBiase and Wade Barrett. Yet, one man has made all of those things feel like an after though. Me! Cody Rhodes!


[Cody Rhodes]
Who has had a better year than me? I went undefeated for all spring and summer. I defeated Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Mark Henry, John Morrison and R-Truth! I was the first person to show up on both Breakdown and Redemption on the same night! I sent shock waves throughout the XWL Universe when I crashed John Cena's head through a car windshield. Hell, I've spit in the face of authority! I've slapped Jim Ross right in his face. I told you all how to be "Dashing" just like me. I rightfully earned an Intercontinental Championship match, that I never got. I made it to the semi-finals in the King of the Ring! I beat Mick Foley in an Extreme Rules match in New York, his hometown, and right in Madison Square Garden! I went on to form the most dominant stable in XWL history, the Resistance. We destroyed both CM Punk and Randy Orton at the same time. I am the current Interim Breakdown General Manager. Now, I get to cap that year off with a bang! By defeating the "Rated R-Superstar" Edge!

*The crowd boos, but Cody ignores them and enters the ring, still talking.*


[Cody Rhodes]
You see, Edge and Mick Foley could have avoided all of that. They could have avoided all the pain and suffrage. All they had to do was open their eyes. They could have simply followed simple requests. Yet, they didn't. Their over sized egos and own agenda permitted them from doing so. Alas, I am now preparing the eulogy for Edge and Mick Foley. Or, should I say, the old Edge and Mick Foley. I use to think that they were the two who could not be cured. Now, I realize, there is hope for everybody. Tonight, I will beat some sense into Edge. I will kick that ego right out of his skull. You see, I'm Cody Rhodes. I am the "Ego Smasher." I tried to give Edge an opportunity to avoid this on Breakdown, but now we are going to have to do this the hard way. I can promise you all, just like all my other tasks here in XWL, it will be completed. Now, Mick Foley will be a littler harder. But I want to focus on another group of people. All of you.


[Cody Rhodes]
It's no secret that many of you and guys in the back don't like me. Why? I don't know. The fact is I know there is something you all love! Christmas songs! Now, I told you all I am the people's GM. So I will give you people what you want. I will give you a Christmas song sung be me, "Dashing" Cody Rhodes! Now, some of you may not know this, but I am an excellent singer. I won the regional sixth grade singing competition back in 1996. Now, I want to make sure I can win you all over so you can vote for me to stay in the position of power I am in currently, and hey, it wouldn't be X-Treme X-Mas without an Christmas song, now would it? Hit it.....

*The crowd is pleased with the arrival of Santa Claus, but Cody isn't. Cody is upset by the interruption, but Santa enters the ring anyway as his helper hands out gifts to the fans!*

[Santa Claus]
Hello there, Cody! Now, I checked my list twice as always, and I found that have been very naughty this year!


[Cody Rhodes]
Me? Because I saved Breakdown?

[Santa Claus]
No, Cody, because you've been acting like a reindeer's behind!

*The crowd laughs as Cody obviously is not as joyful as Santa Claus.*


[Cody Rhodes]
You think your really funny, huh, tubby? I think you could use some of my "Dashing" tips. But first.... first you need to lose some weight. Cut back on the cookies, Santa. Try picking up an apple for once.

[Santa Claus]
Well, Cody, I was only joking before! I had a gift for you, but now you're not going to get anything except coal! Even worse coal than Michael Cole!

Michael Cole: Hey!

[Cody Rhodes]
Oh really? You had a gift for me?

[Santa Claus]
Oh yes I did!

*Just then, Santa reaches into his back and pulls out...*



[Santa Claus]
One of the original copies of the first X-Men issue! Well, I'm just going to have to give it to somebody else who's been nice!

*Cody is shocked and rather angered by this as Santa goes to the outside and hands the comic book to a child X-Men fan*

[Santa Claus]
Merry Christmas!

*Santa gets back into the ring, but Cody soon confronts him.*


[Cody Rhodes]
Are you kidding me? You gave it to a little kid who will probably wipe his snot on it? That's it, game is over you stupid impostor.

*Rhodes goes to slap Santa, but suddenly he catches his hand. Cody is shocked as Santa Claus punches him straight in the jaw!*

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Go Santa!

Michael Cole: What? Somebody do something about this!

Jim Ross: I must admit, that was one slobber knocker from Santa.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Oh yeah!

*Cody is on the floor, holding his jaw. Suddenly, Santa removes his beard, and it's Mick Foley! The crowd pops as Cole is outraged.*

Michael Cole: Oh, this is ridiculous!


[Mick Foley]
Hey, Cody, how are you doing? I'm having a Merry Christmas so far! And once Edge beats you tonight, I'm going to have a happy New.....


[Cody Rhodes]
Stop right there, Mick. Are you really this pathetic? Dressing up as Santa? That is one the most absurd things I have ever seen! I mean, at least you have the weight thing going for you. Pretty good job on that part. It's a shame you can't run a wrestling company the way you eat food. Honestly, this is the kind of thing I've been trying to stop! This is making a mockery of our profession. I came here tonight to compete and defeat Edge, but I get confronted by "Santa Clause?" Is this what you really think makes good shows today, Mick? You are certainly behind the times. Right now, everything is about me. Everything is about the Resistance. Not about you! Not about Edge! Not about these stupid people! And certainly not about Santa! In fact, Santa Clause isn't even re...

*Before Cody can finish, Mick Foley kicks him in the gut and nails the double arm DDT! The crowd goes insane as Cody flops out of the ring!*

Jim Ross: Merry Christmas to you, Cody!

Michael Cole: This is the man that runs this show. Pathetic.



*Cody flees from the area, holding his head. Mick's theme song plays as he proceeds to greet the fans and hand out more Christmas gifts.*



*As Rhodes continues to make his back, Mick takes the microphone again.*

[Mick Foley]
Oh, and Cody, if you want to talk about making a mockery out of XWL, listen to your singing.

*The crowd laughs at Foley's joke as he continues to hand out gifts. X-Treme X-Mas fades out to a video package for The Miz!*

-As Cody's promo comes to a end, a narrator's voice is played throughout the arena-

Narrator

On the day after Xtreme Xmas, a man shall return, a man who has a vengeance, who is raging with anger, on all of XWL, putting the superstars in danger. Next week on XWL TV, he is coming back, with no more fear, and no more slack. Next Sunday, you will find out, who this man will be, and be sure to shout...

-The promo comes to a end as Xtreme Xmas continues on-

[The pay per view is going strong and the crowd is as hyped as ever. They’re cheering and waving their signs all about and it’s not hard to see that they’re having a great time. So much as happened so far tonight, and with so much more to come, it’s not a surprise that these people can’t even stay in their seats. They’re in for a treat tonight because it’s almost guaranteed that XWL is going to end this year with a bang! Just then, a low humming sound begins to come through the speakers and then the arena lights dim except for the ones on the stage. The titantron begins to flicker until an image finally shows on it:]



[Just a picture of Chavo manages to incite an immediate chorus of boos from the people in attendance, and surely a couple of crude remarks from those watching at home, although there are a couple of cheers sprinkled in there. It could be just people who pity Chavo so much that they can look past everything he’s done and just focus on the things he’s been going through, or maybe somewhere out there people still call themselves Chavo fans. But regardless of your feelings this is a big day for people on either side of the fence. For those who hate him this will be a marvelous day if Chavo goes and a disappointing one if he chooses to stay, and vice versa for the handful that still like him.]

{Jim Ross}
So this is how it’s going to end, huh? After over 20 years in the business, this is how Chavo is going to end it all? I just don’t know how I feel about that.

{Jerry Lawler}
Come on now, JR, not everyone can go out in a blaze of glory. If Chavo wants things to end this way, on this note, then let him do it.

{Jim Ross}
I’ve been following Redemption and I can understand that it’s been a tough return for him, but he’s a Guerrero damnit. And Guerreros don’t just up and walk away when the going gets tough.

{Michael Cole}
Oh please. Are you two old timers kidding me right now? Chavo’s got you all fooled! Do you really think he’s coming out here to retire!? Aw come on, surely you two can’t be that gullible.

{Jerry Lawler}
All the facts are there Cole, right in front of that ugly mug of yours, but you’re just too stubborn to see it. Chavo’s been losing, and Chavo’s grown tired of that, so Chavo’s going to retire and leave this business with what little dignity he has left.

{Michael Cole}
It’s a good thing you’re not allergic King, because Chavo’s got the wool pulled tight right over your eyes. He’s only doing this stay or retire garbage to get a little attention. If he really wanted to retire he would have done so already, I bet his announcement tonight is something much bigger than that.

{Jim Ross}
Something bigger than a man’s 20+ year career going down the drain?

{Michael Cole}
Exactly! I remember Chavo promising a title reign and I bet he’s going to announce that he’s shifting his focus back to his original goal which is to hold some championship gold sooner rather than later.

{Jerry Lawler}
Chavo’s in no position to be challenging for any titles. He needs to take it one step at a time and actually start winning some matches first.

{Michael Cole}
In no position!? Chavo currently holds the number seven position on the United States Championship rankings and for all you know Chavo/HBK II is in the works.

{Jim Ross}
What I know is that Chavo still has a lot to accomplish and he has to ability to do it. But if he calls it quits now, his two years of work in this company will be going to waste.

{Michael Cole}
Have you not been listening to me at all? Or is your hearing going bad? Chavo isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. If either of you two had a dollar to your name I would make a bet, but alas me being right… as usual, will just have to do.



[As Chavo’s theme hits the mixed reaction gets a tad bit stronger and the boos still heavily outweigh the cheers. After what seems like ages, Chavo finally stands on the stage and takes everything in possibly for the last time ever. For the first time Chavo’s appearance actually causes the crowd to quiet down a bit, and it’s now quite clear that everybody wants to know what Chavo has decided to do with his career and his life. He may not be the biggest superstar in XWL, but somebody making a life-changing decision live on pay per view does make for some good TV.]



[Chavo strolls down the ramp wearing a look of determination on his face and he steps into the ring and waits for his music to cut off before he raises the microphone to his lips, but then suddenly a dueling chant breaks out in the crowd:]

[Chavo walks around the ring and gazes out at the people almost as if he were trying to make eye contact with each and every one of them.]

[The dueling chants of the people could possibly be similar to the dueling feelings and conflicted emotions Chavo’s had to deal with for the last month or so. And now hearing that not even the fans are 100% decided on whether they want Chavo to stay or to go could make things a lot harder than they already are if he hasn’t already made his decision.]

[A close up of Chavo’s face shows that his expression hasn’t changed even in the slightest since entering the arena. Almost as if he sealed away his emotions so that they wouldn’t get in the way. There’s finally a break in the chants and Chavo takes the opening and begins to speak.]



{Chavo Guerrero}
Tonight is the night that I decide whether I’m a man or a wrestler. For quite some time I was both at the same time, but that was when I was I couldn’t care less about the future and was living each day as if it was my last. Wrestling was all I had, it was all I knew, and I dedicated everything I had to it. Wrestling was in my blood, wrestling was… my life. There’s nothing better than when it’s just you, your best buddies and the road because that’s where the best stories come from and I have enough memories to last for the rest of my days. That was the life, that was the dream for those of us who naively thought we would be in this business forever. As long as you have wrestling you don’t need anything else: that’s the philosophy we used to live by and still live by to this day. But then the years go by: coworkers retire, friends pass away, and your body just isn’t as young and lean as it used to be, and then reality sinks in: one day you’re going to be gone too.

[Chavo pauses to let that last line sink in a little bit. By the way he’s talking it seems as though he really has made his decision but we just have to wait and see what it is.]



{Chavo Guerrero}
And then you scramble to do everything you can to leave a legacy behind you so that people can remember who you were after you’ve decided to hang it up for good. You win a couple of championships, risk your career, your life… everything, to get a victory in a single match, all because wrestling was your dream and you don’t want everything you’ve done to disappear and be forgotten when you wake up. Being a Guerrero I had to the most to prove coming into XWL, I had generations of family pride riding on my back and I’d be damned if I disgraced their name. I fought every match as though I had a chip on my shoulder, and gave it all on the mic because I was hell bent on making sure that Chavo, not just Chavo Guerrero, but Chavo, was a person that people were going to respect and recognize as one of the best ever to step in this ring and perform in front of you people. And for the most part, things went all right, but then again if I left today how long would I be forgotten? Or would I have to keep fighting until my name was engraved in a championship belt to be immortalized? These are the questions I’ve had to think about over the last couple of weeks, the questions that have been on my mind right up until this very moment.

You see I’m talking to you people, but I’m talking to myself at the same time. I’m trying to explain to you why I’m going to make the decision that I’m going to, but at the same time I’m trying to convince myself that I’m making the right choice. I’m putting my career in perspective, trying to rationalize my decision and how it will affect my legacy from now until forever. But regardless of how unsure I may be, I do know that tonight has to be the night I decide whether I will be a man or wrestler. That line has been blurred for far too long. It’s easy to be in this business where your only problems are what are you going eat, where are you sleeping, and figuring out where the hell is the nearest bar is. But then I did something silly; I met a women, fell in love, got married, and had kids. Just like that the Guerrero family tree was extended, and just like that I wasn’t the only person I had to worry about anymore. Their problems became my own, I needed to make sure they had real food to eat and a roof over their head, and their quality of life was dependent on how well I was able to do in this business. My goal was always to become a main eventer, but somehow I always fell short.

I brought the fight to Shawn Michaels, but then I fell short when it really mattered. I won Money in the Bank, but then fell short by letting Jack Swagger take my case. I made my grand return to XWL a couple of months ago and I’m only one misstep away from falling short again by not achieving the goal I laid out for myself. So why not just quit now, and save myself the trouble of getting embarrassed again? Because I still have the will to fight, but forget all that corny and cliché crap. I’m tired of coming out here giving some somber speech about how I’m tired of losing and what not, much like I’m doing now, I need something to brag about: a win streak, a title hunt, something to get things rolling in the right direction, yet nothing seems to be coming my way. I’m not afraid about failing now if it means success in the future, but what if success isn’t what awaits me on the other side?

I had one foot out the door last week… but then something Brian Kendrick said pulled me back in. He invited me to join the ranks of the Xtreme Championship Division and that was almost enough to make me forego the thought of retirement completely. I mean has it really gotten that bad that people actually think I would lower my standards and compete in that joke of a division? It may be XWL’s version of the Cruiserweight belt, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to be content competing in a division no one takes seriously. I could be the guy who saves it, but I refuse to allow myself to be held back.

What you fail to realize is that at this point in my life I don’t need wrestling, wrestling needs me. Wrestling needs a man who knows how to…well… wrestle. A man who can tell a story in the ring, who can make people are about what’s happening between those ropes and who doesn’t have to rely on fancy flips and twists every other move to get by. I can fly, but I can handle my business on the ground too. Few men can do that, but none as well as me. Despite everything I’m one of the best this company has to offer, you know it and I sure know it, but that’s all been negated by my inability to back it up in the ring. So what’s the point of sticking around, then? Because I can always improve and hit my stride at any time, and that’s something worth sticking around for.

Damn it! It should have never come down to this. Let my career end because I can barely walk down the ramp, let it end because I can barely string together a coherent thought on the mic, but I just can’t believe that it may end because I can’t pull it together and win a match.

And I just can’t believe that I was able to string you people along for this long.

[There’s a delayed reaction as it takes a second for what Chavo said to hit the people, and once it does hit them the boos begin.]



[Chavo does what he can to mask the smirk on his face, but it’s quite obvious to everyone that he’s amused with the way he was leading people along.]

Did you people really think I was tossing and turning all night because I was going through some midlife crisis and didn’t know what to do with my life? Or that I was so upset about a couple of fluke losses that I would run out of XWL with my tail between my legs? You can’t… you really can’t be that foolish, are you kidding me? You know, one thing I always loved about this place was messing with you people and letting you know why you can never be the great man that I am, and never before has that feeling of superiority been sweeter than it is right now. For weeks I’ve gotten you talking about me, and I didn’t even have to compete in a match to do it. I’m not feuding with anyone, I’m not on a title campaign, I made something out of nothing and I hooked you all. Whether you want to admit it or not, I’ve got you interested in Chavo Guerrero and I barely had to try. Forget about the Fatal Four Way title match in the main event, forget about the I Quit match, forget about the Cage match, remember Resistance and then forget about them again, you all bought tickets to Xtreme Xmas because of me! You all thought I was going to come out here and decide on a whim what to do with my career? Do you all not realize that a career of this magnitude can’t be ended on such a flimsy note? I knew for weeks now what I planned to do, and I could’ve come out here and just told you, I could’ve written a letter and send it to Vickie, but I choose plan C, and decided to have a little fun with it. Just listen to yourselves; you’re all upset because once again I’ve proven to be smarter than you all.

[Chavo raises the microphone in the air and the boos get a little louder as the crowd becomes seriously agitated. They’re just about done with Chavo at this point.]



{Chavo Guerrero}
And those chants of yours were really touching. It almost brought a tear to my eye to know that you cared so much. But you have nothing to worry about; I wouldn’t retire over something like a losing streak, that’s just petty. In fact…

[Just then an object goes flying through the air and it hits Chavo in the stomach. Security tackles the man and drags him out of the arena almost immediately, but the damage is seemingly already done. Chavo takes a look at the object and can’t do anything but shake his head.]



{Chavo Guerrero}
In fact, it’s the disrespect that I’ve been undeservingly shown for years that has drove me to retire. If you all are going to live in denial and refuse to acknowledge me as one of the greats then you don’t get the privilege and the honor to watch me compete in that ring any longer. One day when you’re stuck with mediocre talent who couldn’t hold a candle to me, then maybe you’ll regret moments like this but by then I would have already moved on.

[Chavo makes a move to leave the ring when suddenly:]

{Vickie Guerrero}
Excuse me!



{Vickie Guerrero}
Chavo you really think I’m just going to let you further shame the Guerrero family by letting you walk away like this? You think you’re entitled to kind of respect? Well you need to go out there and earn it! Throughout all of this retire or stay nonsense I actually felt a little sorry for you, but the fact that you dragged it out so painfully long just because you crave attention so badly is just beyond pathetic.



{Chavo Guerrero}
Vickie, before you continue, you have to realize that I stopped caring about anything you say for quite some time now. So you can yell at me, you can even threaten me too, and you’re free to ask to be excused as you please, the fact of the matter is I’ve made my decision to leave and—



{Vickie Guerrero}
No Chavo, the fact of the matter is that I’m not just your aunt, but I’m your boss too and you better believe that you will be booked on Redemption next week and you’re expected to compete. Of course we know better than to expect you to win that match, but getting you back in the ring is a good start.



{Chavo Guerrero}
You can force me to work in some department store and you can force me to sign crap for these people, but you can’t… you can’t force me to stay here longer than I want. I’m leaving Vickie, and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it.

[Chavo leaves the ring and walks with purpose up the ramp until he’s face to face with Vickie. They burn holes into each other’s eyes until finally Chavo sidesteps her and makes his way towards the back.]



{Vickie Guerrero}
Chavo if you leave I can promise you that it will be the biggest mistake you will ever make and I’ll make you regret it.

[Chavo stops in his tracks and the two remain on the stage with their backs facing each other. Chavo is the first to move and he walks back over to Vickie and once again they trade deadly stares once again. Then Chavo takes a bow and smirks as he heads backstage leaving Vickie looking furious on the stage.]

{Vickie Guerrero}
Chavo, get back here! CHAVO!!

[Vickie lets loose with a bloodcurdling scream and slams the microphone on the ground before storming backstage presumably to stop Chavo. The crowd is buzzing as the camera cuts back to the three man announce team.]

{Jerry Lawler}
So is this it for Chavo?

{Jim Ross}
I don’t know King, from where I’m sitting it seems as though things are only getting started. But what I can say is that for once I hope Vickie gets her way, this is no way for Chavo to end things.

{Michael Cole}
You at first I didn’t want Chavo to leave, but now I see where he’s coming from. He gets absolutely no respect from these ungrateful people. Look at them and their smug faces, they just made one of the greatest superstars in XWL history call it quits. And you know what? I wouldn’t be surprised if Cody Rhodes himself paid that guy off to throw that… that doll!

{Jerry Lawler}
I wouldn’t go that far Cole; you’re letting your emotions get the best of you again.

{Michael Cole}
I was hoping I would never have to use this video, but I had a feeling deep down inside that things would go this way so I had it ready to go just in case. I’m going to play it now and hope it changes Chavo’s mind.

[As XWL fades to a commercial break Cole’s video for Chavo begins to play.]

X-Treme X-Mas rolls on and the crowd gives a mixed reaction as we see the X-Treme Champion "The" Brian Kendrick sitting backstage in a lounge area decorated with Christmas lights. The crowd’s mix of cheers and boos turn to a steady boo as the camera pans out and shows Kendrick’s guests; none other than Alex Riley and his assistant Lucky Cannon, the champ cracks open a beer and takes a long swig before speaking

Why are you drinking beer before your match?

Because sometimes I need to drink to be able to interact with fools like you. Either way there's nothing wrong with drinking, I mean think about it, 24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

The crowd gives a small pop for Riley as Cannon reluctantly sits back down while Kendrick smirks and Riley begins to speak to The X-Treme Champ

As far as the "Opposition" and Curt Hawkins go. They are an afterthought, nothing more nothing less. I see it as a speed-bump in my career, but I know the X-Treme Division is just what I need to get my career moving in the direction it needs to. And as for my match last week? Well I gotta give Kevin Steen credit, he brought it that night and I didn't, simple as that. All I can do is move on and improve from it because A-RY DOESN'T DIE!!! And I plan on adding a lot to the X-Treme Division, you’ll soon see. But I’d like to thank you Brian for having me on the BK Lounge, I really respect what you have been doing here in this division.

Riley then turns to Cannon again

Well Brian I’m glad you asked, I’ve realized ever since my injury humbled me that I was probably not as nice of a guy to anyone as I should have been, especially the veterans who deserved respect. Honestly I thought I was the best and that no one could touch me, I was cocky, arrogant, and more…Well that Alex Riley’s NO MORE. I will however look forward to getting in the ring with Evan if the time comes, but upon returning to the XWL one of my main goals is starting fresh. That means getting rid of the trash and by trash I mean this trash laying at our feet with glass all over him. So for everyone this is Alex Riley "RARE BREED" 2.0

Kendrick nods and begins to respond

You know what Alex, I just want to say that I'm thrilled that I'll be able to compete with you in the X-Treme Division. I can already tell that you’ll be a formidable opponent in the type of matches that this title demands and it's obvious already that you know how to handle yourself on the mic. But you spoke about your injury earlier and it seems like you're not booked tonight against Evan Bourne as was scheduled before the injury occurred which leads me to my next question, when do you think you’ll be cleared to compete?



{RILEY}
Well Brian. I am more then happy to announce that I am 100%! This XWL ring will be my place of business once again, I know Brian that you can understand how hard it is to come back from an injury as you put your body on the line every night your in this ring. Well Brian, that’s what the NEW BREED 2.0 is gonna do best. I promise you will see a style and a barrage of skills you have never seen or would have expected from Alex Riley. I am the leader of The NEW BREEDS and soon all the young extremely talented guys we got in this X-treme Division will take this company by storm, and I plan on being right there in the thick of it! As a matter of fact Brian if at all possible I’d like to ask for a non-title match with you in the near future. It would be a chance to show these fans what I am capable of and give me a chance to sharpen my skills against the X-treme Division Champion.

I’m not one to deny a challenge Alex, but if you were to face me it shouldn’t be to show these fans what you’re capable of, these fans don’t have opinions, these fans don’t know the difference between wrestling and well, whatever you call Cena, Edge, or Orton’s five moves of doom crap that they seem to adore. If these fans knew the difference right and wrong then they wouldn’t boo the actually talented Tyson Kidd’s technical maneuvers, they wouldn’t boo Cody Rhodes’ obvious longing for Breakdown to reach its full potential that it never could under Foley’s tyranny, they wouldn’t boo Chris Hero or Layla yet they do when in reality the only people they should be booing is themselves for being flocked into an ignorant herd of cowardly lemmings with no opinions of their own. I commend those who proudly chanted CM Punk’s name before he won the World Title, I commend those who still cheer The Rock, I commend those who chant “Cena sucks” because they’re not afraid to go against the norm, they refuse to compromise their true feelings to fit in. But that’s beside the point, it’s Christmas, it’s X-Treme X-Mas, it’s that time of the month that CM Punk defends his World Title and tonight his opponents are Macho Man Randy Savage, Wade Barrett, and Justin Gabriel. Wade will also be facing off against Tyson Kidd for his Intercontinental Title but he’s not the only one that’s going to be pulling doubly duty, Shawn Michaels is going to be facing Kevin Steen for the United States Title after already defeating Triple H. Who do you think will be walking out of this Pay-Per-View as champion? I mean, other than myself of course!

Well XWL has a great Pay-Per-View lined up tonight. Of course you got the fatal 4 way for the World Heavyweight Championship, I think that Wade will have the most to worry about due to the double duty he’s pulling. It’s hard enough to go out and pick up a win against top level opponents such as CM Punk or Randy Savage, let alone 2 wins in one night, plus Justin Gabriel still has beef with him and will probably use Wade’s fatigue to his advantage. On the Redemption side of things if Shawn holds on to the U.S title I will be surprised. I’m also looking forward to watching the Intercontinental Match, and I hope that your fellow resistance member Tyson Kidd leaves the Champion!

As do I, I mean Wade’s good but I bet that World Title match will be on his mind the whole time he’s in the ring with Tyson. Speaking of which I know that I’ve had my share of ill words regarding out current World Champion but I’m pretty confident that next week he will still be World Champion because as much as I might dislike him I do respect what he is capable of. And if you watched tonight’s opening segment you’d know what our current United States Champion is capable of, and I personally know what he’s capable of, after all I attended the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy and was trained by him, that’s actually where I got my former and possibly future ring name Spanky, it’s also where I made my debut to professional wrestling against The American Dragon whom I would love to face off with again here in the XWL.

i got a couple things to get off my chest. First Obviously...IM BACK! Secondly im not here to sit on the sidelines. so i guarentee you will see X-pac the "DX SURVIVOR" at the top of his game. Its been quite a while since ive competed , but i WILL pick up where i left off. Goal #1 is establishing myself as a threat. I will once again be a champion!

**XWL comes back from commercial and the screen is completely black. This soon fades to the backstage area, where a cameraman appears to be walking around, giving the fans a view of many of the superstars that are in action tonight getting ready for their matches.**

**The cameraman turns to see which person this voice came from. The camera turns and Dolph Ziggler appears on the screen, walking around backstage. The crowd bursts into a mass of boo's as Dolph Ziggler wasn't previously mentioned to be booked on this pay per view, yet the fans still get the displeasure of his presence.**

Aaaanyway, I'm gonna cut the crap and get right down to it. Since I decided to reclaim my career here in XWL, I've been on a career path that most people could only aspire to have. To get to the level that I'm at, I've had to do things that "nice" people wouldn't do, I've attacked people, I've cheated, I've lied, I've stabbed people in the back, I've talked smack. Well.. I didn't HAVE to do to those things.. I chose to, because I enjoy it. ALL I needed to get where I am, is my amazing talent, and my in-your-face attitude that you've all come to hate through sheer jealousy.

It's that attitude that gets me in trouble, yet.. it's that VERY attitude that you people love.. when it's coming out of somebody else's mouth. People like, Ted DiBiase for instance. Ted is one of the cheesiest, untalented, one hit wonder "stars" I've ever seen in my life. He's got an attitude, although he calls it "comedy" and I call it failure. You see, when that attitude's coming from the mouth of a fan favourite, it's acceptable, it's WANTED. Yet, I speak a single word of truth and you hypocrites boo me out of the building. Don't get me wrong, there's no rush like the rush of knowing any person in the arena would through you infront of a bus for a damn soda, but it's that hypocracy that puts a target on my back.

That target on my back is more than apparent, it's blatantly obvious. Every loser who walks out of the curtain thinks he can stand a chance against The Showoff. Reality is I've risen faster than anybody here in XWL, and I've done it all through my own merits, not by trying to win my way to the top by kissing ass like some people, although I won't mention anybody in particular, Dwayne. I haven't done it by sleeping my way to the top like, well.. one of the divas that are "famous". I can't exactly say I waste my time watching their "matches", if I wanted to see half naked women trying to hurt each other, I'd look out of my house to see the line of women that que outside my door.

The strangest part is, that target on my back is because of that aforementioned attitude. I've been vilified for my actions because of this controversial attitude. So does that mean I should change the way I act? Maybe so, but I'm not gonna, if anything.. I'm gonna be a bigger asshole than I once was. Your dismay is my everest. So here's my offer, here's what I'm gonna do tonight. All of you all-talk losers who want to shut me up, here's your chance. I'm issuing an open challenge to anybody out there who thinks they can beat perfection. From the "megastars" like CM Punk and Wade Barrett to the failures like The "Hurricane" and Heath Slater. Nows your opportunity to crash and burn infront of the entire XWL community after I put to sleep your dreams of beating Dolph Ziggler.
