Ted DiBiase Vs The Miz

RCP y is zack ryder in the ring with Mason in quite a few of the pictures

*Redemption returns from a commercial break and is taken backstage to a room where a very pissed off Michael McGillicutty is sitting in a chair with blood dripping from his forehead and his hand clenched into a fist. The camera man is hesitant to walk up to him as you can feel the anger radiating from McGillicutty. The camera man finally decides to take a few steps towards him and slowly begins to speak.*

Camera Man: Michael, if you don't mind, can we get your thoughts on what happened out there a few moments ago?

*McGillicutty completely ignores the camera man's question and begins to speak in an angered tone.*

McGillicutty: Ted, you have made the biggest mistake of your career... No the biggest mistake of your pathetic life. Your jealously has caused you to seal your fate. Our match at X-treme X-mas was no doubt going to be a war, but now, it's going to be hell on earth. Had it not been for your arrogant pride, I would've been X-treme Champion. You are not who you appear to be. You have pulled the wool over the eyes of these sheep also known as the XWL Universe. I knew and said this from the very start. It was not until now that you showed your true colors. As the saying goes, “Green with Envy,” that represents you more than you might think. Thirteen days from tonight marks the last Pay-Per-View of the year. How fitting would it be if it were DiBiase's last Pay-Per-View in XWL as well. Enjoy your last moments in the spotlight because when the smoke clears, it will be me, not you, who will get his hand raised at the end of the match. While my theme plays, you, or what will be left of you, will be stretchered out of the arena, never to be heard from again. Ted, remember this face, remember my name, remember what you did to deserve the ass kicking your going to receive, and remember that it could have all been avoided if had just minded your own business. *McGillicutty storms off camera as camera man is left speechless. He tries to utter words but he can't. Redemption fades to black*

Jeremy is interrupted as "The" Brian Kendrick enters the camera's view, Jeremy looks both confused, surprised, and nervous upon The Wizard of Odd's arrival.

No, no questions tonight Jeremy, just answers.. Tonight I defended my Title in a truly X-Treme worthy match, but Ted fuckin' DiBiase thought it would be a good idea to interrupt right as it seemed that Michael was in control of the match causing my would be clean victory into a controversial ending. Michael thinks that Ted cost him the match but I know the truth, I know that even if DiBiase didn't get involved I would have still come out the victor regardless because of one simple reason....



{Jeremy}
..Which is?

Because no matter who I face, no matter how much pain they can deal out to me, no matter what... I will not lose this title! Even in McGillicutty was able to put me through that burning table, which he wouldn't have because I was very much ready to reverse his maneuver, but if he did I know that I would have been able to kick out for my will to win will always overcome my pain as long as this title is on the line. I do however believe that Michael deserves, earned, is worthy of fighting for my title.. all things that most X-Treme contenders of the past were not.. That's why I wish to face Michael again in a Steel Cage, a match with no excuses, no remorse.



{Jeremy}
But Micheal has a match with Ted DiBiase at X-Treme X-Mas.

Oh I know. But at X-Treme X-Mas I will defeat whomever faces me for my title regardless of well.. anything. I want to Michael in a match where he can't walk away with excuses, I want to prove that I am truly the X-Treme Champion to him, so it might not be in two weeks, but I will face Micheal for that title once more and I will defeat him for my title once more, I promise you this. I am "The" Brian Kendrick, I am The X-Treme Champion, it is my time, thank you for your time..



With that Kendrick turns his back and leaves as we go onto the next segment

We are brought to ringside where Alex Riley's theme is coming to a close and The Varsity Villain himself is standing in the middle of the canvas with a mic in hand. He has his arm in a sling

Last week Mason Ryan showed all of you just what the Opposition is capable of. He not only defeated Evan Bourne, he not only defeated Sheamus, but he defeated them both at the same time. Sheamus used to be "The Celtic Warrior", he used to be a force to be reckoned with but now he is nothing more than yesterdays news. Evan Bourne used to be capable of damn near anything, but last week he wasn't even able to pull off what should have been a guaranteed victory. Their time is over because ours has begun... but mine has been cut short for now by the likes of all you fans! Last week I was late to the arena as you all know and while I was making that video package to show on Redemption well..

Riley points to the screen where we see a replay of last week where Riley was recognized by some disgruntled fans before a flying projectile smashed the camera.

You idiot fans injured me! You could have ended my career! But that's besides the point, I'm not even mad because I know that even while I am injured I am still smarter, wealthier, and all around better than all of you! And speaking of people that I am better than let me talk about my would be opponent for tonight, Kevin Steen. You see Kevin is just one of the million... "and millions" of all you pathetic vermin who wishes that they were more like me. While he sits at home and uses some left over pizza sauce that he found smeared on his size XXXXXL shirt to jerk it to Playboy, I'm out at a five star restaurant eating the type of food that his fatass has wet dreams over and sitting next to the type of women that he isn't even worthy to dream about! And I'm not afraid of him coming out here and going all "Kill Steen Kill" cause I know that the only thing he's capable of killing is an attempted diet. If Steen thinks that he can intimidate me or come out here and kick my ass then he is poorly mistaken because Mason Ryan and Curt Hawkins are sitting backstage just in case I need them. And you can call me a coward for making allies but the fact of the matter is that it's smart not cowardly. I know that both Mason and Curt are going somewhere in the XWL, and my intelligence and wealth is the perfect gateway to their success, so while I'm injured I will make it my goal to help those two rise to the top, above Steen, above HBK, above everyone! I'm a college educated wrestler, I'm a Rare Breed, I'm the Varsity Villain, I am Aleexxxxx Rilllleeeeyyyyy!

As the referee calls for the bell, the first thing we hear is an absolutely emotional Michael Cole screaming "No!!" at the top of his lungs as he stands at the commentary table shocked and saddened by Ted DiBiase's victory over The Miz.



{Michael Cole}
No! It can't be! Miz can't lose to that...To that....To that loser!!




Ted's theme sounds as the audience rises to their feet cheering in support of their leader of The DiBiase Posse. Ted smiles in reaction to the overwhelming support of the fans here in New Hampshire as his hand is raised in victory by the official.




{Joey Styles}
But it is, Cole! The Miz just lost to Ted DiBiase, and the fans are loving it!

Instead of Cole responding with an expected rant, he breaks down in tears as he sees Ted celebrating in the ring while The Miz lies on the mat the loser of this match. It's all too much for Cole to wittness and he's clearly an emotional mess seeing his favorite lose in the main-event of tonight's show.




Joey laughs at Cole's overreaction to one loss.

Ladies and gentlemen, Ted DiBiase just picked up his second main-event victory in a row here tonight, and I've just gotta say what a match we just witnessed! And I take nothing away from The Miz, because that one was way too close for any of them to claim otherwise. We witnessed moments in that match that had us on the edge of our seats! I really thought Miz had Ted after that last skull crushing finale, but the will to survive from Ted DiBiase was just too strong!

We switch back to the ring where Ted's shown playing to the crowd like only he can. He shouts "Now that's what I call awesome!" with a goofy expression on his face before taking to the second rope posing for his fans victorious here tonight.

{Joey Styles}
Ted continues to prove every week that he's working harder than perhaps ever before to get back in that title hunt and finish what he started.

Cole hears Joey's last line then snaps and looks at him with a look that could kill.

{Michael Cole}
Finish what he started?! That loser couldn't win a title if the champion was in a coma! He's nothing more than a failure that gets far too many fluke victories like he did here tonight! The Miz had him beat and we all saw it!

{Joey Styles}
Of course, Cole...He did have him beat, until Ted kicked out.

He looks at Cole with a grin which infuriates him even more.


{Michael Cole}
Had that damn referee not counted so slowly the result would've been completely different! The Miz had him beat, so don't talk up DiBiase as if he's the next big thing! He's just a giant loser that fails at every opportunity he gets! He'll never be World Heavyweight Champion! Hell, he'll never be a champion period! All he does is pander to these idiots and give them free stuff just so they don't call him a loser and boo him! He's not a threat to any champion, nor is he a threat to The Miz! This match here was a travesty, a bias official that clearly had something against The Miz! Ted DiBiase probably paid him off with a couple hundreds of Monopoly money! He looks like he's into that stupid crap just like Ted is, I bet all the money in the world that's exactly what happened!


{Joey Styles}
Are you listening to yourself? God man, just accept the fact that Ted DiBiase deserves more credit than you or The Miz gave him. He beat Miz tonight, you saw it, no underhanded tactics, no interference whatsoever, he beat him, get over it!

{Michael Cole}
I will not get over it! The Miz was screwed here tonight, Ted DiBiase did not defeat him, nothing will blind me from the truth!

{Joey Styles}
...You saw the match...You saw what happened, what in the hell is in that thick skull of yours? I swear you need to get over this sick obsession with The Miz. It's downright creepy!

{Michael Cole}
Or maybe you need to get over your obsession with Ted DiBiase and realize that Ted bought off the official just to get a cheap meaningless never could have happened other wise, win!

{Joey Styles}
...I don't even...You're not....Just forget it...

A loud "DiBiase!" chant breaks out as Ted stands on the second rope clearly appreciating the love he's receiving from his Posse.




He then hops off the second rope, rolls under the bottom rope near the announcer's team, where he notices a livid Michael Cole glaring at him. He responds by walking over to the commentary table, asks for Joey's headset to which he responds by happily handing it over. Ted then places it on as he grins at the still overly pissed off Michael Cole.


{Ted DiBiase}
What a slobber knocker we just witnessed, Ted DiBiase leads his Posse to another victory here tonight in the main-event!! And dare I say it, it was AWESOME! Oh and Cole, you might wanna go check on your buddy, I hear he's on Dream Street!

He starts to chuckle a bit, as the blatant theft of Miz's famous word sends Cole over the edge....As Ted removes the headset, Cole yells out in anger then tightly forms his fist and charges it forward at the unsuspecting Ted DiBiase landing a hard hook to his jaw....But instantly Cole yells out in pain as he holds his fist causing both Ted and Joey to bust out into fit of laughter! The fans near the commentary table all begin to laugh too as Michael Cole holds his hand in pain while Ted continues cracking up laughing at Cole. Ted then places his hand on Joey's shoulder and with a huge grin shouts "Million dollar jaw baby!" He then starts to chuckle more as he walks away from the commentary area and starts slapping the fan's hands along the barricade as he makes his way around the ringside area.

{Joey Styles}
Ladies and gentlemen, words just do not do any justice to what we just saw...How's that hand of yours, Cole?

He glares at Joey while still holding his fist with Joey chuckling again.


{Joey Styles}
It's been a great show, but it's that time again. Redemption is coming to a close, but be sure to tune in next week when we're live in Hartford Connecticut!


Ted DiBiase is shown still slapping the hands of the audience members along the barricade until he reaches the ramp. He turns his attentions towards the direction of the commentary team, but obviously at Cole. With a cheesy grin he holds his jaw laughing with his arm raised.



Then just before Redemption comes to a close, we see Ted look out into the crowd and shout "DiBiase Posse!" to a loud positive reaction from the audience as Redemption fades out to the sight of a victorious Ted DiBiase.
