Eli Drake stands up quickly, and raises his arms high above his head as his music sounds through the arena. The ref walks over, and holds Eli's arm up in the air.

.:Mauro Ranallo:.
OH MY GOD ELI HAS DONE IT!

.:Corey Graves:.
I can't believe it Eli did exactly what he said he was going to do. I hope Finn Balor was watching very closely cause if he wasn't. We could be looking at the next Elite champion in E li Drake.

.:Mauro Ranallo:.
So far all of his hard work has paid off, but will he be able to do what he has set out to do? We will have to see the fallout of this during next anarchy!

The majority of the crowd boo as Peyton's music hits throughout the arena. There is a small minority of the crowd still backing her up, either not forgiving April for her past sins or just ready to see a new champion crowned. Peyton has only her sights set on the ring though.
As she climbs upon the apron she lays on the middle rope, dangling carelessly before standing and walking to the middle of the ring. There's a fire in her eyes and you can tell she can't wait to get this match started



From the back emerges the Champion to a crowd that for one of the first times gives her a positive reaction! There are still boos for sure but now you can see it's 60% cheers and 40% boos. April smiles wildly before holding her title high over her head! April brings it down and locks eyes with her nemesis. Her eyes narrow as she makes her way towards the ring and slides into the ring. The two waste no time getting into each other's face. Peyton towers over the small frame of the champion but April doesn't back down

[Corey Graves]
I got to tell ya, I been waiting to see this! I wonder what kind of match it'll be!

[Mauro Ranallo]
I think there's your answer

Upon the titantron a wheel appears with several options on it. It begins to spin and things become a blur. An I Quit Match. Inferno,
Tables, Ladder, and so and so on until it starts to slow down. The wheel finally slows down and lands....on TLC!

[Mauro Ranallo]
I can hardly think of many more punishing matches than TLC!

[Corey Graves]
And given the way these two feel about each other I promise you this won't be for the faint of heart!

Just like that men from the back start rushing out with chairs, tables, and ladders! The ref motions to April to give him the title so he can put it up there. April hugs her precious championship to herself one last time before handing it off. A ladder is set up and the ref climbs up, hooking the title. He comes down, April's eyes on him the whole way. Without warning a leg connects with April's chest!
The kick has enough forces to send April skidding out of the ring! Peyton screams at the ref to start the match and quickly scurries up the ladder

[Mauro Ranallo]
What a cheapshot! The match hadn't even started!

[Corey Graves]
Call it whatever you want Mauro. There are no rules in this match!

Peyton is a little unsteady, clearly not used to being up that high.
Meanwhile April gathers her bearings and waste no time sliding back in. Just as Peyton's finger tips touch the title she is pulled down by the champion! April catches Peyton with an elbow before backing her up to the ropes. With all her might April throws Peyton into the ladder! There is a loud *SMACK* as she hits the ladder knocking it over

[Corey Graves]
When it comes to brutalizing and hurting I don't think anyone tops April. This match may play more in her favor

[Mauro Ranallo]
Yes but neither women have been in a TLC match. They're on even ground in that aspect

April looks at Peyton who is holding her nose in clear pain. The champion takes a hold of the ladder she just drove Peyton's face into and tosses it out of the ring. April follows out of the ring and grabs two chairs, tossing them into the ring. April looks like she's goign to slide into the ring but stops and turns around. April stares at a table before ginning wickedly and grabbing it. The champion turn s around with the table and approaches the ring. She's blasted back however by Peyton who baseball slided out of the ring knocking the table right into April's face

Creative offense by the Peyton

Peyton quickly exits the ring and before April can get to her feet begins to stomp her. April tries to get back up but each time she's simply knocked back down. Finally Peyton grabs April by her hair and backs her herself against the barricade. With all her strength Peyton swings April by her hair and slams her against the barricade! The champ lets out a cry of pain as she holds her back. Peyton grabs a ladder and slides it into the ring. As she begins to slide in she's pulled out by her foot and hits the ground hard. April slides into the ring and quickly sets up the ladder. As she puts her foot on the bottom step Peyton is in the ring too. Both lock eyes for a few seconds before darting up the ladder

It's a mad dash up the ladder!

[Corey Graves
Yeah but, we all know there is only one way down when two people go up

Peyton and April reach the top and immediately begins to exchange blows. The chant 'ooo!' and 'ah!' with every punch the two deliver to one another. Finally the two punch each other one more time and both fall off the ladder. Both are dazed and make it slowly to their feet. April starts around the ladder to get to Peyton but Royce has other plans! With her long legs Peyton kicks through the holes in the ladder! The kick catches April right on the jaw and knocs her down instantly  

[Mauro Ranallo]
Holy crap! What a kick!

Peyton leaves the ring and looks under the ring. After searching around for a while she begins to pull out a very long ladder! She pulls out the ladder and sets it up between the barricade and the ring. Not satisfied with just that Peyton grabs a nearby tables and slides it into the ring. She enters the ring as April is just getting up.
A boot to the jaw sends April right back down to the ground. The ladder is in the way so Peyton simply knocks it over and leans it against the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. Peyton takes the table and sets it near the corner. She retrieves April and drags her past the table to the corner. She lifts the champ onto the top rope and chops her chest just to make sure she stays there. Peyton then steps onto the second rope, hooks April's arm, and with all her might delivers a superlex that sends the two crashing through the table!
[Corey Graves]
Pretty sure the match is over for April now

[Mauro Ranallo]
I don't know, Peyton fell through the table too

Neither woman moves as the crowd cheer at the carnage in front of them. It takes a while but Peyton shows signs of life. She crawls her way out of the broken table and uses the ropes to help her to her feet. slowly she grabs the ladder leaning against the ropes and sets it up. She begins to climb the ladder until something grabs her foot. She looks down and April is smiling up at her, a look of pain on her face. Peyton sighs before climbing and grabbing April by her hair. It sounds like Peyton is yelling some at April before April lashes out with a headbutt to the jaw of the challenger! Peyton howls in pain and backs off. April looks around and finds the chairs she threw into the ring earlier near Peyton's feet. April grabs the chair and stands up, just waiting for Peyton to look towards her

[Corey Graves]
Peyton! Watch out!

The moment that Peyton looks towards April, April swings the chair with all her might! The chair shot echos throughout the arena as Peyton falls to her knees before falling forward onto her face. April notices the other chair and a grin forms on her face

Something about these kind of matches brings out the monster in April

[Corey Graves]
She's one dangerous woman

April grabs a chair and takes it to the corner. She wedges it between the bottom and middle turnbuckle. She drags Peyton by her leg and props her up to where her head is laying against the chair. Finally April takes the final chair and wedges it so that the chair is in front of Peyton's face

[Corey Graves]
She's basically used the chairs to sandwich Peyton's head! She's gonna destroy her!

April quickly runs back into the opposite corner. She looks at the crowd and runs her thumb across her neck! April kicks off the corner and flies at Peyton! As April reaches her she jumps in the air and gives the hardest dropkick she can. The first chair rockets into Peyton face and as she head flies back it hits the other chair. Peyton melts down and when she does you can see the chair she hits her head on has a dent in it

I've never seen anything like that before...

[Corey Graves]
This match is getting scary

April tries to get up but falls to a knee, clearly spent from the wear and tear this match has put on her. April looks towards the ladder and wearily makes her way there. She climbs slow but surely.
Still, given her short stature she has to climb higher than Peyton did. April climbs up one more step and reaches for the gold. However before she knows it she's falling. Somehow Peyton got up and knocked over the ladder! April lands feet first and quickly turns to try and rip Peyton's head off but as she runs Peyton spins and catches her with a heel to the chest! April falls hard and Peyton is already carrying on with her next move. She knocks the ladder over and pulls it to the middle of the ring. Peyton drags April to her feet and hooks April's arm over her head. She grabs April's left leg and without warning lands a fisherman suplex that slams April and herself on the ladder! April howls in agony as does Peyton!

[Mauro Ranallo]
These two are trying to destroy each other! This match needs to end soon!

[Corey Graves]
This is how much that title means to these two. They have to give it their all

"This is awesome!" The crowd chant this over and over but neither women can appreciate this as neither has moved for the last two minutes. Peyton is the first to stir. She gets up on shaky legs and goes to April. She drags April off the ladder and to the middle of the ring. Peyton the grabs the ladder and in a cruel act sets it up so that
April is trapped under one of the legs of the ladder. Peyton screams "I want you to watch me take your championship!" Peyton climbs slowly as April struggles to get out

[Mauro Ranallo]
I think April's reign as champion is finally over!

[Corey Graves]
She's finally done it! She's beat the unbeatable!

April slips her arms out and grips the bottom step of the ladder tightly. With a scream of anger and maybe desperation April begins to push with all her might!

[Corey Graves]
She doesn't think she'll actually push her way out of there does she?!

[Mauro Ranallo]
While it's true that April has shown feats of strength that her counterpart AJ Lee could never achieve this would be insane

Peyton laughs at April's attempts and continues to climb slowly.
April's screams get louder and louder as Peyton continues to laugh.
That is...until the ladder starts to move. April is slowly pushing the ladder up off of her! Peyton tries to quickly reach for the title but the ladder is being pushed up so the title is out of her grasp!

[Corey Graves]
I can't believe what I'm seeing!

April continues to scream in agony as she pushes the ladder up more and more

[Mauro Ranallo]
Can you imagine all the muscles in her arm that are tearing and ripping while she's doing this? Even if she manages to somehow win she may be too injured to remain the champion

April lets out one last cry of agony before with all her might pushing the ladder upward. The motion sends the ladder backwards and Peyton with it. But Peyton doesn't land on the canvas. Or even the ropes. Instead Peyton, screaming all the while, is sent crashing from the top of the ladder to the outside and through the ladder she set up earlier!

Mama MIA! Peyton is gonna need help soon!

[Corey Graves]
What is April?...

April crawls to her feet, holding her right arm the whole time. She limps towards the wreckage outside of the ring. The crumpled form of Peyton lays in the wreckage of the ladder. April shakes her head slowly before tipping the leaning ladder back into position. April climbs slowly and reaches the top. With a grimmace of pain she pulls down the title with her left hand. The bell is rang and April is declared the winner! April slowly gets down and leans against the ladder for support

[Mauro Ranallo]
That was an incredible match between these two. Neither should be ashamed by what happened here tonight

[Corey Graves]
Somehow April remains Champion in another gimmick matches. That makes it Hell in the Cell, Inferno, and now TLC. I'm beginning to see a patern

[Mauro Ranallo]
This is where April won her first championship. Maybe Roulette is her Paper view. Luck seems to be one her side a lot

April has pain stitched onto her face but none the less she holds her title high into the air for all to see! April looks like she's about to leave when suddenly the titantron lights up. Words are jumbled up but they begins to fall in place

April stares at the screen with clear worry. Another happy moment for April is ruined. The champion wraps her title around her waist and makes her way up the ramp looking over her shoulder constantly as XWL fades to an ad...

As Roulette returns JBL and Barrett have both made their extravagant entrances to the ring. They stand on opposite corners of the ring, eyes glued on one another. The crowd continues to boo The leader of the Cabinet in JBL and cheer for Barrett. Finally the arena lights dim down to reveal the titantron with the wheel of possibilities for their match tonight. The wheel then begins to spin.....

Barrett stands victorious as JBL is laid out in the middle of the ring. The steel cage begins to raise up into the air. At the bottom of the television screen a 1 appears next to Barrett’s name with a 0 next to JBL’s. The crowd cheers as the first step to take down JBL has been taken.

{Mauro Ranallo}
Here we go Corey, JBL has been taken down a notch.

{Corey Graves}
Please Mauro, this was only the first match. And it meant nothing after the hellacious match Tag Team match JBL was already in tonight.

{Mauro Ranallo}
A win is a win, if JBL is going to use that as an excuse he shouldn’t have accepted to team with Matt Sydal.

JBL finally begins to stand as Barrett awaits him. The referee rings the next match to start.

This time both men are laid out in the middle of the ring, but JBL now the winner, evening the odds. The logo now reads Barrett-1 and JBL-1.

{Corey Graves}
The odds have been evened Mauro, JBL proving exactly why he’s a Wrestling God.

{Mauro Ranallo}
He may have won Corey but he’s in the same boat as Barrett, he can’t even stand. This aren’t looking as good as you may think.

A few moments pass before both men begin to start crawling towards opposite corners of the ring. The grab hold to their corners and pull themselves to their feet. They turn around to look at eachother, knowing they are both exhausted but they have one more match that must be done to decide the winner of tonight.

JBL is down with Barrett standing above him, watching his prey lay before him. The referee’s count at 7. JBL is motionless, and the crowd loves it. Barrett begins soaking in the cheers from all around him.

He’s done it Corey! Barrett has this match won.

{Corey Graves}
The match isn’t over Mauro, JBL still has another 2 counts to stand.

But this doesn’t seem to matter, for JBL is knocked unconscious. He was hit with a vicious Bull Hammer to plant him to the Matt, not to mention all the hell he has been through with the two prior matches.

This match is practically over. JBL hasn’t moved an inch, his eyes still closed. Barrett has his arm raised in victory as the referee moves his hand forward, but before he can even mouth the word “ten”.....

The entire crowd is silent as the theme of the BEAST begins to fill the air. This is a complete shock, not only has Brock been on a leave of absence for the past few months, but now his return is in the middle of a match between two men he has no prior issues with? Barrett’s eyes become large as basketballs as he hears the theme of the BEAST. Barrett has his back turned towards the ramp, but slowly turns towards it as the crowds silence quickly turns to an eruption of cheers. As he faces the ramp he sees none other than the beast walk out onto the stage, eyeing nothing but the man standing in HIS ring. And who stands beside him? None other than the advocate for the BEAST himself, Paul Heyman.

Brock and Heyman stand at the top of the ramp, Brock not moving his gaze from Barrett while Paul however scans the crowd of cheering fans with a smile from ear to ear. Paul of course wearing a black pinstripe suit with a red tie, Brock however wearing sweat pants and a “Suplex City” T-shirt, which can be purchased at XWLshop.com. Then, almost on cue, Brock lifts his arms and with the beat of the music brings his arms down with great force, causing fireworks to shoot into the sky. With a moments hesitation the two men begin making their way down the ramp towards the ring.

{Corey Graves}
He’s back Corey! The BEAST has returned to XWL!

{Mauro Ranallo}
I’m just as happy as you are Corey, but why right now. Why in the middle of a match between two men he has absolutely no history with?

{Corey Graves}
I have no idea, but do you see the way he’s looking at Barrett?

The referee having stopped his count, not knowing what the hell is going on. Barrett eyeing the BEAST inching his way closer and closer and JBL who has now somehow rolled himself to a corner which is where he now sits. Brock hops onto the apron. He hangs onto the ropes as he leans back and lets out a roar. Paul who is still smiling, stands outside the ring and watches his client. Brock leans back forward and is a mere few feet away from Barrett who is positioned for a fight. Brock sees his body language and lets out a small chuckle at the thought of Barrett actually being able to put up a real fight. The two men stare into eachothers souls until finally the first move is made. Lesnar steps through the ropes but before he can even get all the way into the ring Barrett throws the first blow. He begins throwing rights and lefts, while Brock simply raises his hands and deflects them. Not only is Brock skilled in Wrestling and UFC, but Barrett is slowed by being in not one, not two, but three matches tonight.

The punches continue until Barrett realizes this is getting him nowhere, he knows he has to finish this before it even gets started. He tears back his right arm and hits the Bull Hammer.....BUT NO, Brock ducked under Barrett’s elbow, but instead of backing away from the Bearer of Bad News, he grabs hold to him from behind and lifts him into the air before slamming him to the mat. The crowd split between booing as they have grown found of Wade Barrett but also going buts as Brock has returned. But sadly for Barrett it doesn’t end there. No, for Brock keeps his grip, as he stands he lifts Barrett back to his feet aswell, but then hits him with another German suplex as the crowd lets out a thundering.....

But it doesn’t stop there. No, for this assault continues and with every German Suplex the crowd lets out a deafening cry for each number.....

Brock not even breaking a sweat is smiling to the sea of cheering fans. Barrett has been knocked out, and only stands because Brock still has hold to him. Brock has him in position for the 10th and final German, but instead he twists Barrett around, lifting him onto his shoulders, and tosses him into the air planting him with a devastating F-5 as the crowd lets out the final count at “10!”

{Mauro Ranallo}
Oh my god Corey, I think Brock just killed Barrett, and without a reason to do so.

{Corey Graves}
without a reason? Did you not see those punches Barrett was throwing, and even if he hadn’t Brock doesn’t need a reason, he’s a BEAST.

This is true, Brock is a Beast. Barrett has been laid out, now he is the one that lays unconscious in the middle of the ring. JBL sits in the corner of the ring, a look of confusion upon his face. Sure he’s happy Barrett has been taken down, but what business could Brock have with them? He looks up at Lesnar who has now turned his attention to the “Wrestling God”. JBL’s eyes widen even more now in fear. Brock still chuckling begins making his way towards the leader of the Cabinet. JBL stays upon the ground, not sure what he could do even if he wanted to. For he is cornered by a Beast, a Beast which he just witnessed tear JBL’s bitter rival apart. Not to mention it’s too late, Lesnar has now made it to JBL and looks down upon his next victim, but then something strange happens. Something the crowd, the commentators, or even JBL expected to happen.

{Mauro Ranallo}
What the hell.....is he.....

{Corey Graves}
He is Mauro, Brock is offering his hand to help the Wrestling God to his feet.

{Mauro Ranallo}
But why?

{Corey Graves}
I have no idea but it’s one of the best decisions he’s ever made.

Brock indeed does have his arm reached out to a confused JBL. JBL looks up at the Beast, wondering reason for aid. JBL seems to think for a moment before he smiles and cautiously extends his own arm taking hold to Lesnar’s. Lesnar pulls JBL to his feet and raises JBL’s arm into the air. JBL looks around before he begins to believe Lesnar’s intentions. He smiles and raises his other arm into the air, but you know what they say. A Beast will show teeth and bite at any moment.

This is proven as suddenly Brock kneels down and picks JBL up onto his shoulders letting out a battle cry as he prepares to plant his next victim. JBL is stunned unable to move. Brock turns around the ring looking throughout the sea of fans until he stops. He stops moving, screaming, as if paused with a remote control he stops exactly where he is. And what could make him do such a thing? Well the answer is a quite simple one.....an advocate. Paul Heyman has now slid his way into the ring and planted his knees to the mat before the Beast. Heyman begins to beg Lesnar no to do this. He pleads with him to drop JBL.

{Mauro Ranallo}
What in the world? Now Paul Heyman is begging for the life of JBL?

{Corey Graves}
Paul obviously realizes what a great man JBL is and what a devastating loss to XWL it would be fore him to be injured.

After a few moment of his pleading Brock finally succumbs as he drops JBL to the ground. JBL hits the mat and lays there still stunned from what just happened. Paul folding his hands together thanking Brock. Lesnar looks down at JBL and laughs at the “GOD”. He however respects the wishes of his advocate and leaves the ring and JBL along with it. Paul climbs out of the ring strutting his way up the ramp following his client. As the two men disappear backstage JBL makes it back to his feet. Confusion yet again struck him his looks from the stage to the fallen Barrett realizing this is it.

He looks to the referee who is wondering what he should do but duty is made clear as JBL grabs hold to his shirt and Bergen’s yelling and threatening him to begin counting. Eventually the referee submits and begins the count.

JBL raises his arms in victory as his theme plays throughout the arena. The crowd boos as he places his foot on the chest of the fallen Wade Barrett. But even though victory has been achieved, he can’t help but wonder what this all means. None the less he speaks in his victory as XWL fades to a commercial break.

.:Corey Graves:.
Ladies, and gentlemen! It is time for out main event of this evening. This has been the match I have been most excited for. You just never know who this wheel is gonna land on.

.:Mauro Ranallo:.
What if it lands on Brother Nero Corey?

.:Corey Graves:.
Simple answer Mauro. We will see The Black Knight do his job, and make sure that is The King who upholds the kingdom. Now quite Mauro I do believe our King approaches.

The lights in the arena shut off completely as the song begins.  



A spotlight shines down as we see The AWOKEN King crawling out from behind the curtain. He appears to have some type of battle damage as he appears out of breath, and beaten.

Brothers in arms
Are you ready for the stand

The stage is also a screen, as we get a camera angel above The Awoken King, Mud covers the stage, but around The King is a dark pool of blood.

Blood on the ground
And mud on your hands
Take another breath

He appears to taken in a deep breath, and gets up to both of his knees, but he has both hands on the ground. His head still lowered.

Make another try
You think you're gonna break
You think you're gonna die
Get off the dirt

The AWOKEN King lifts his head as he looks around the arena looking to the fans as the boo him.

Listen to the crowd
Screamin' your name
Screamin' it loud

The AWOKEN King looks to his left as a spotlight shines down revealing Senor Benjamin kneeling with his head down.

You're not alone

He then looks to his right, and another spotlight shines revealing Brother Nero kneeling. The two lock eyes, and The Black Knight gives him a nod showing his undying loyalty toward his King.

We're not afraid

Finally The King looks to his left for the final time, and a spotlight shines down right next him revealing the lovely Queen of XWL, Rebecca Hardy. Their eyes meet as the next lyrics echo through the arena.

This is our moment
It won't come again

And find your feet
We will not accept defeat

His eyes widen as these lyrics hit him with a wake up call.

Get up
When your body's screaming out

He quickly turns his head with a slight smile looking over to see Senor Benjamin rising to his feet.

And your hope is fading now

Looking over to his right we Brother Nero stand to his feet.

And the lights are dimming down

Then we see The Queen rises to her feet. The three are now standing side by side looking down the ramp waiting for their King to rise to his feet.

And your strength is waning

He tries to start getting up, but appears he can't summon to the strength to get up to his feet. The King looks up into the air.

The King grits his teeth together, and finally rises top his feet. Now The Royal Family as a whole stands at the top of the ramp. The King begins his walk down the ramp with The Royal Family close behind.

The battle soon begins

Returning to the fight

The King reaches the end of the ramp, and looks around the arena, and takes in the hate, and disdain from the XWL universe.

Victory inside
The crowd will soon ignite
So light up the night

He makes a left, and begins ascending up the stairs.

He gets into the ring as the music cuts, and is handed a microphone.

The time has arrived.. I will reclaim my championship, and you all will see that I am fighting a champion. I fear for whoever walks down that ramp next, because all my anger my pent up aggression shall be showcased upon this individual. Now let's get this over will... Let the wheel spin commence!!!






With the Awoken King standing inside the ring, pacing back and forth impatiently as he awaits the spin of a wheel to decide his opponent for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. As if his prayers have been answered, his theme comes to an end when the General Manager in Layla appears on the titantron, ready and eager to reveal who will challenge our beloved Awoken King in tonight's Main Event.

[Layla]
Well after an incredible night of fate changing the very landscape of XWL, it has now come down to this...the final spin of the night, and it will decide who leaves tonight as our NEW World Heavyweight Champion.

Keeping it short and to the point, Layla places her hand on the wheel and giving it enough strength to spin it a decent amount of times, we're off to the races. The wheel passes over names like the victorious AJ Styles and Finn Balor representing The Bullet Club to names like John Cena and Matt Sydal even teasing the potential of having Mr. Money in the Bank walking out as World Heavyweight Champion without needing to cash in his prestigious briefcase.



Hardy's eyes are glued to the wheel as if he were some sort of “Awoken” Hawk, every passing second making him grow more and more anxious, almost as if the wheel is doing this on purpose to get inside his head. Finally, the wheel begins to slow down, just skipping over the Switchblades and hovering over Brother Nero, Hardy's very own Black Knight, for what must feel like an eternity before just barely hovering past him, putting a hold on the brother vs brother contest. The wheel stops on The Miz, third time being the charm, which leaves both The Awoken King and his subjects in a state of uncertainty, do they cheer on the man that will stand across the ring from their King or do they boo him for that very reason?

A camera cuts to the backstage area where The Miz, accompanied by his wife Maryse, is shown still feeling the effects of his Triple Threat contest earlier in the evening, thinking that he was done for the night but thanks to the wheel, it's just getting started. Maryse, almost uncharacteristically being excited, points towards the screen they were watching, causing The Miz to slowly rise to his feet, putting on his signature jacket and makes his way to the ring for his second match in the night.

The Miz walks out of his locker room and begins making his way down the corridor, passing nearby superstars who aren't his biggest fans and are mouthing out “Don't Choke,” “Try not to lose twice in a row” and any other witty replies they could think of. But this doesn't seem to faze The Miz in the slightest as he turns the final corner before the Gorilla Position, stopping in his tracks as he locks eyes with Matt Sydal, who was unsuccessful in becoming the Elite Champion earlier in the evening. No words are exchanged, instead a simple nod is all that's needed before The Miz walks past him, his theme beginning to play in the arena.


Quiet on the set!

Can we please have quiet on the set?

The sound of a camera flashing repeatedly echos throughout the arena as a myriad of images cycle through, perfectly timed to the audio of the flashing, before the arena falls into darkness.

AWESOME!

The Miz walks out from behind the curtain, no theatrics, no usual spin and no Maryse. He stands on the stage, seemingly barely to keep himself from falling over after the war he went through with AJ Styles and John Cena. But that doesn't deter him from having the chance to walk out as World Heavyweight Champion, walking down the entrance ramp with one intention in mind: Win.

Meanwhile, in the ring, The Awoken King extends his arm towards the slowly approaching Miz, questioning if this is really the person who's standing between him and his goal of regaining the World Heavyweight Championship. The Miz makes it to the bottom of the ramp, but instead of entering the ring, he walks around the ringside area, ignoring the extended hands of the XWL Universe and makes his way towards the timekeepers area, retrieving a microphone.

If memory serves me well, wasn't whoever the wheel landed on given the opportunity to choose any match type they wanted? How's an Extreme Rules match sound?

The live audience in attendance cheer at the potential of the World Heavyweight Championship Match being held under Extreme Rules.

Maybe we should fight inside a Steel Cage?

The cheers increase just a touch as the potential match types start being listed.

Or perhaps we should wage war in the match you made famous: A Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match?

Cheering nearly at the top of their lungs, the crowd clearly wants this option over the previous two.

Why not go all out and make this a Hell in a Cell?

The roof nearly comes off the arena as cheers and whistles fill the air.

We could do either of those but answer me this: Why would I allow a delusional maniac like yourself in a match that has no rules? Why would I give you the ability to do whatever you please? I don't plan on being as irrelevant as Edge, I don't plan on making the same mistake he made, I don't plan on walking out of the arena without The World Heavyweight Championship. So here's what's going to happen, you and I are going fight for the championship in a match you have no chance of winning: A Normal Match.

Doing almost a one eighty, the crowd descends into boos directed at XWL's resident “Most Must See Superstar” as The Awoken King is almost throwing a fit in the center of the ring. The Miz tosses the microphone over his shoulder and scales the ring steps before entering the ring, ready for this World Heavyweight Championship underway.



With the Awoken King in full control of the match, he has his opponent in perfect position for his finishing maneuver: Broken Fate. Hardy is just mere moments away from regaining the World Heavyweight Championship when he spots his Black Knight, Brother Nero, standing in the center of the stage with pure excitement on his face. His brother is about to reclaim the crown and return the Kingdom to it's rightful state of being. Hardy extends his free arm towards him and shouts out, “AH YES, BROTHER NERO, WONDERF-” but this momentary distraction costs his dearly as his words are cut off when The Miz, almost out of instinct, revitalizes and awakens from his temporary slumber, locking the former champion in a Full Nelson, transitioning into a leg sweep and slamming him face first into the canvas with the Skull Crushing Finale and without hesitation, follows up with the cover.

The theme of The Miz plays for the third time in the evening, signaling the end of this contest and the crowning of a new World Heavyweight Champion in the process. The Miz is on his knees, throwing his arms into the air in victory, as the Awoken King lies on the canvas, an almost surreal moment in the mind of the new champion.

Those words echo throughout the arena as The Miz rises to his feet to receive his newly won prize from the referee, his arm getting raised while he proudly lifts the championship with the other. One has to believe that this is redemption for his showing earlier in the evening, being the first man eliminated in the Triple Threat match by the eventual winner in AJ Styles to becoming the World Heavyweight Champion to close out the evening.



The Miz scales the turnbuckle, raising the championship high into the air, causing some members of the XWL Universe to cheer at his journey back to the champion while other are sticking to their guns and booing anything and everything associated with The Miz. Unbeknownst to The Miz, Brother Nero, the man responsible for inadvertently costing his brother the championship, has entered the ring and is making a beeline towards The Miz, pulling him off the turnbuckle and ending his celebration in the process.

Brother Nero steps up directly into the face of The Miz with nothing but contempt seemingly ready to burst from his inner core. A vein bulges on his forehead and his skin turns a molten shade of red. Everything his brother and him had worked for had just been stolen from him, and by someone as despicable as The Miz. As this stare down continues for a few seconds, Awoken Matt begins to rise from the mat and sees his Black Knight standing before his usurper, ready to defend the Kingdom that was just ripped from his grasp. Any resentment for his brother that had welled up due to the distraction slips away as he sees the dedication being shown by the man who had sworn to protect him. He finds the strength to make it to his feet and pulls himself up to stand behind his brother. As the camera pans to the side showing Brother Nero's face, still seething but having so far shown enough restraint to not start throwing fists at the new Champion, the former Awoken Kings face appears over his brothers shoulder. There is a look of anger of course, but also satisfaction with the beating that is about to befall The Miz. His Knight has finally reached the point of all-out war. Brother Nero finally notices his brother behind him as he looks over his shoulder and slowly smiles while looking back at The Miz. It's time. Without skipping a beat, Brother Nero's hands rise up and catch his Brothers head while simultaneously dropping to the mat, delivering a brutal Royal Decree to the man he had sworn his life to. The Awoken Hardy again bounces off the mat and lays splayed out. Brother Nero looks down at his fallen brother, betrayal oozing from his pores.

Almost caught off guard, The Miz shows surprise for all of a brief moment before shrugging it off and walking past this family squabble, wanting nothing to do with what's to come and exits the ring. He walks up the ramp, the championship held above his head every step of the way as the people on either side of the ramp do their best to touch the championship but to no avail.



Now on the stage, The Miz is greeted by his wife Maryse, who seemingly couldn't be happier that her husband is the new World Heavyweight Champion. The both engage in a brief kiss before they break away, causing The Miz to lift the championship into the air one last time almost as if he's challenging anybody and everybody to try and take it from him. In the ring, Brother Nero's eyes haven't moved, still glued on the Awoken King, who slowly begins to show signs of life, the final image of the Pay-Per-View being that of The Miz holding the championship up in the air and Nero looking down at the man he just turned his back on.
