1. One Becomes Two

Bad News Barrett has been fighting a losing numbers game since he’s been dealing with JBL and the Cabinet. It seemed that those numbers were finally going to do him in as the four fighers in the Cabinet surrounded him with sledgehammers. Luckily for Barrett, Eli Drake came to his rescue. Now that Barrett is no longer alone, will he be able to even the odds?


2.   Toxic Intentions

Peyton Royce surprised everyone when she re-emerged as the next threat to Sister April. With April being arguably the most dominant force in XWL, seeing her laid out on the ground is not a sight that we have seen frequently. However, that is exactly what happened last week as she was found unconscious by Renee Young, a victim of Peyton’s poisonous plant chamber.



3. Taking All Comers

The Undertaker, XWL’s reigning Elite champion, issued a shocking statement at the beginning of last week’s Anarchy. The Deadman announced that he would be issuing an open challenge. Anyone, and that meant anyone, could walk out and fight The Phenom for his title. That challenger turned out to be none other than the psychotic Bullet Club member Sami Callihan. Unfortunately for Callihan, Taker showed why he is the Elite champ and Sami left empty handed. But an assault by every member of The Bullet Club afterward showed that may not be the case the next time The Deadman encounters them.



4.  Queen of the Castle

The Miss Money in the Bank competitors squared off in singles matches last week leading to some explosive finishes, surely a mere glimpse of the action that will take place at Emergence. This week the women will once again clash, this time in a tag match on the main event stage with Ruby Riot and Natalya taking on Asuka and Charlotte.



5.   To The Peak

The Men's Money in the Bank match is settled. Come Emergence, The Miz, Finn Balor, Cactus Jack and Sami Zayn will engage in a test of wills to determine who will walk out as Mr. Money in the Bank. These four drastically different personalities will shed blood and leave their entire essence in the ring that night in hopes of grasping the key that could unlock a new door in their journey to immortality. The battle will not be easily won, but he who proves himself worthy will truly stand above the rest.

Aleister Black stands tall with his arms extended wide, looking down at the fallen World Heavyweight Champion. He signals for the end as he slides his thumb acoss his throat before placing a foot under the Broken King's head. He slowly begins to lift Matt Hardy to his feet, dazed and wobbly Matt isn't fully aware of the situation he's in but he is well travelled enough for his instinct to kick in and get him out of there, as he shoves The Dutch Destroyer's foot away and stumbles backwards into the corner. Black, sensing that the Champ isn't at 100% continues in to press the attack and charges in, leaping into the air in hopes of connecting an elbow but the only thing that connects is his face with the turnbuckle as the wile King darts out of harms way.

Matt grabs the back of Black's head and begins repeatedly ramming it into the buckle, the fans chant along with every repeatition. As the number gets higher, Hardy gets lower and begins slamming Aleister Black's head into the second turnbuckle multiple times before finally driving it into the bottom buckle for good measure. The Broken One rises to his feet as his opponent lays with his face draped over the bottom rope, he throws his hands out beside him letting out a "Yeeeesss" as he does so. Matt grabs a handful of hair and drags Aleister up to his feet, he wraps his arms around his head in an attempt of the Side Effect but Black stikes with an elbow. Knowing that Hardy has yet to release his grip Black drives another elbow into the side of his opponents head, with the impact forcing Hardy to release his grip. Black shows off his devastating kick boxing skills as he drives a knee into the gut of his opponent, followed by a kick which he lands into the chest, he continues with a spinning back fist before kicking the back of Hardy's leg which drops the Champ to a knee. Black backs up and throws a bicycle knee but Hardy pops up to his feet  and catches his opponent before lifting him and slamming him down with a Side Effect!

Matt Hardy hits it! This could spell "The End" for Mr. Black.

He shoots the cover.

Black drives his shoulder off of the canvas.

Black clutches at the back of his head, the impact perhaps leaving him a little dizzy. The Broken Champion returns to his feet looking down at his competition. He looks around the audience before throwing his right arm to the side and shouting "DELETE!", the crowd getting caught up in the hype chant along with their Champion. On cue Aleister Black starts climbing up to his feet, off balance he turns right into his opponent and gets a kick into the bread basket for his troubles. Matt traps Black and raises his arm out signalling for the end, he turns to put a cruel Twist of Fate on Aleister Black's night but Black sensing the danger he's in manages to shove the Champion away. Matt stops the momentum from the shove as quickly as he can, he turns to continue and...

[Corey Graves]
BLACK MASS!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Mamma Mia what impact!

The Broken King turns right into a sickening spin kick which connects right to the jaw, he crumbles down to the canvas with Aleister Black falling on top of him.

The bell rings, as soon as the refs hand slams down Black reverts back to sitting cross legged in the middle of the ring. The lights darken and a spotlight begins to shine on The Anti-Hero, he looks up and surveys the arena.

[Corey Graves]
Do you realise what we've just seen Mauro? Aleister Black just defeated the World Heavyweight Champion on his very first night back in the company...

[Mauro Ranallo]
It was a very close fought battle but on this night Aleister Black has come out on top and he has made his return in a big way, a victory over Matt Hardy is one hell of a way to make a statement. Could this be a catch 22? A lot of people are now going to be paying close attention to this man, he may have just put a big target on his back.

[Corey Graves]
Maybe. But if they were paying close attention they would've seen that Black Mass kick and that's enough to make you rethink any plans you previously had.

Focus returns to Black, he stares down the camera, gazing into the souls of every man, woman and child watching around the World before the feed slowly fades to black.

Normal Match



XWL comes back from a break and into the middle off a match as Cactus Jack and Sami Zayn are squaring off.

At this moment in time Sami has the advantage as he punches Cactus in the corner. He then lifts Cactus onto the top turnbuckle and then makes the climb himself. Zayn then hooks Cactus and delivers a devastating superplex off the top. Zayn then rushes for the cover and the ref starts his count but Cactus powers out at two and Zayn can't believe it he thought he had it for sure as he sits in the ring with a dismayed look on his face. Zayn then notices that Cactus is starting to come to his senses and is beginning to get up so Zayn stands up and starts to stalk Cactus. As Cactus gets to his feet Zayn rushes at him aiming to hit a clothesline but Cactus ducks and when Zayn bounces of the ropes and turns round Cactus hits him with an atomic drop and then grabs one of Zayn legs takes him down and locks in a leg lock for a few seconds.

Cactus then starts to drop one elbow after another to the chest of Zayn until he hits a third one and then mounts Zayn and begins to punch Zayn repeatedly in the head and then begins to bite Sami forehead. The ref pulls Cactus off Zayn but Cactus goes straight back on the attack and begins to stomp on the chest of Zayn. He then picks Zayn up and sends him into a corner of the ring where he is left to lean on the turnbuckles. Cactus then runs full head of steam at Zayn preparing to hit a clothesline but Zayn moves at the last second and Cactus bounces off the turnbuckle and then all of a sudden BLUE THUNDER BOMB ! Zayn hits it out off nowhere that has to be it surely. The ref goes for the cover he counts to 2 and a half and Cactus just manages to power out and again Zayn can't believe the resiliency off Cactus Jack. Zayn then starts to stalk Cactus again. Cactus gets up and Zayn Irish whips him into the corner. The crowd start to cheer as they know what is coming Zayn has set Cactus up for the heluva kick. Zayn chargers at him if he hits this then its game over.

MISSED ! Cactus moves out of the way and Zayn is caught on the turnbuckle. He tries to recover he turns round hoping Cactus is still dizzy. PACKAGE PILEDRIVER ! Cactus hits it. Game over Sami isn't kicking out off this. The ref starts the count and it reaches 3. The crowd cheer as Cactus is victorious but also because of the match they have just witnessed. Cactus then makes his way to his feet and begins to point at the briefcase as the camera cuts to the next segment.

As XWL returns from a commercial break we pan to the backstage interview area, with Renee Young holding a microphone in hand ready to speak to the XWL Universe.

{Renee Young}
Thank you for joining me, and please help me welcome my guests at this time, Matt Sydal and CM Punk.

The camera zooms out a bit to show Matt Sydal and CM Punk standing side by side next to Renee. Punk still wrapped up from his previous encounters with the Bullet Club, and Sydal a little bruised up aswell.

{Renee Young}
First off gentlemen I'd like to congratulate you both on your victories last week, each of you scoring a win over a member of the Bullet Club.

CM Punk and Matt Sydal look at eachother, wondering who will be the first to speak. Sydal reaches out his arm allowing Punk to go first. Punk shrugs in agreement.

{CM Punk}
Well Renee I gotta tell you, it does feel good to finally get one over on those NWO wannabes. For the better part of a month they've been doing nothing but useing the numbers game to try and "take out" Sydal and myself, and last week we proved that numbers don't always win and that the Bullet Club isn't invincible. Hell AJ Styles has been losing for years, and he's the one they chose to "lead" them? They will no longer be a threat to XWL, because now that me and Matty boy here are on the same page, they can't even touch us.

Sydal's eyesbrow raises for a moment, directing the mic over toward himself.

{Matt Sydal}
Listen "Punkers" it's not Matty Boy, it's Matt. Or if you'd prefer, Superstar of The Year, Longest Reigning World Heavyweight Champion in XWL History, Golden One, The Golden Ticket of XWL, The Youngest Grandslam Champion, The Man that ended Leo Kruger's career, literally any of those would suffice, so if we're going to have ourselves a "beautiful" partnership, you'll address me as such, kay Punkie Pie?


Punk looks somewhat shocked, but understands that Matt Sydal deserves respect. He nods his head and says "fair enough" while Sydal just grins.


{Matt Sydal}
Now as for what happened last week...I think it's quite fair to say that alone we're pretty good, great even...but together? WE'RE BULLETPROOF! Did you see us? Sending them cowering in fear the second we came together? Punk defeating Balor thanks to yours truly dealing with those "no good brothers" AND after that, "disarming" The Bullet Club's Lunatic Fringe just as I did to their Far From Pheneomenal Leader the week before!

CM Punk looks at Matt Sydal, ignoring the fact they are in the middle of an interview.

{CM Punk}
Wow you really have been on a rampage lately.....

He then turns back to the camera and Renee.

{Renee Young}
Well Sydal we know you have experience in tag team matches with the Bullet Club, but Punk you've never had tag team action with them. How are you preparing for this match tonight?

{CM Punk}
Let's be honest Renee, you and I, Sydal, every XWL superstar, Hell the guy holding the camera right there.....

Punk points to the camera guy for this interview.

{CM Punk}
We all know the truth. We know the Bullet Club doesn't "play" fair. And I can't lie, the numbers game is one they are very good at...BUT...they have been making a lot of enemies lately. The Deadman, Cena, The Golden Ticket, and The Best In The World? Here before long the numbers game will no longer be in their favor, they will have more enemies than allies. But back to your question there's not much I can do to prepare, all I can tell you is were gonna kick the "Butterknife society's" ass tonight.


{Matt Sydal}
I mean, that's what he'd like to tell you...and believe me, we'll give them an ass whooping they won't soon forget...but we both know how this will end, it won't. Tonight isn't the culmination of weeks of frustration, fueling us to finally defeat these two after finally banding together...no, it's merely a whole new beginning, a whole new struggle, and why? Because we're not competing in a "tag-team" match...no, more like a handicap...see, the numbers on paper seem even, right? But do you think Finn Balor is going to accept he was bested last week? Hell no. Do you think AJ Styles is truly focused on his battle with John Cena? No, he should be, hell Balor's made an enemy of The Undertaker once again, THEY BOTH should be concerned with their own business, but instead...they, along with Gallows, and Anderson...and hell, at this rate who knows who else could come swinging with them, but at some point tonight, when Punk and I have the crowd salivating for our victory, when it's just seconds away, BAM! They'll fire one bullet after another until we're surrounded, until they "flip the script" but we already know they're going to, that's the kicker, just like when Cena and I tagged up against them, they won't play fair, they won't just cheat on their own, no..they'll add more numbers, and we'll, of course, say screw it and hit as many of them as we can before we get knocked on our asses.

{Renee Young}
If you really believe that's the case, then even bother going out there?


{Matt Sydal}
Because, it may be a foregone conclusion that we're not getting our vengeance tonight, but that's not going to stop us from trying, from standing up to them and saying you can give a Bullet Club shirt to every gold damn superstar on this roster, we'll beat every last one of them, maybe not tonight, or next week, hell maybe not even next year....but one day, we will stand over you, pull the trigger...and there'll be NOTHING left.


{Renee Young}
Wow, Punk do you truly feel the same way? They've already left you worse for wear on several different occasions, and you've been working through some injuries as it is, is it really worth it to risk further damage knowing that there's no way in Sydal's world...that this truly accomplishes anything tonight?

{CM Punk}
He's absolutely right Renee. We know what the Bullet Club is and what they do. It's no secret that something will happen tonight, but it's just like Sydal said. It doesn't matter, because sooner or later we will eliminate the bullet Club. And trust me Renee, it'll be.....

Punk forms the Bullet Club hand motion mocking tonight's opponents.

{CM Punk}
TOO SWEET


Sydal then proceeds to join in the mocking of The Bullet Club "too sweeting" Punk to end the scene as the graphic promotes their match is next.

After Punk lifts Dean Ambrose to his feet his lifts him out of the ring! Sydal seeing this quickly turns his back on Punk to make the corner. However in all the excitement he fails to notice some things!

The crowd suddenly begins to boo and Punk is pulled from out of the ring!

2!

Two men have now entered the ring!

3-NO! Before the ref can count three Sydal is being pelted with kicks by none other than Anderson and Gallows! The ref quickly ring for the bell but Anderson and Gallows don't care as they continue to stomp away The Golden Ticket

By this time Punk has slid back into the ring and levels Gallows with a leathal leg kick! The kick sends the big man on his knees and Anderson comes to make Punk pay. However Punk knocks him down to his knee with a well placed kick to the shin. Both men at the mercy of Punk he begins to alternate kicks to the chest of both men as the crowd goes wild. Punk is feeling the energy but he doesn't noticed that Finn Balor has jumped the barricade along with Styles.! Finn slides into the ring and sets his eyes on Punk. After knocking Anderson down with a kick to the head he goes to do the same to Gallows but is knocked completely off his feet by a shotgun kick by Balor! Punk flies into the corner and bounces off harshly coming to a heap on the ground. Matt, seeing Balor's attack goes to get some pay back but as he staggers towards him AJ Styles comes rushing past him their  and flipping backwards with a beautiful pele kick that lands straight on the head of Sydal!

By this time Dean and Sami have gotten to their feet. Both men seeing the carnage that their brothers have laid out for them they waste no time picking the bones. Dean grabs Punk while Sami grabs Sydal. Dean hooks Punk's arms while Sami does the same to Sydal and lifts him in the air. With a nod to each other both men drop the two superstars on their heads much to the disdain of the crowd. Dean holds his sore jaw meanwhile Sami nurses the back of his head. Anderson and Gallows have gotten to their feet too. The mean waste no time throwing up their 'Too Sweet!' signs over the bodies of another victim of the Bullet Club for yet another week

We cut to the backstage area, cutting directly to an image of Sami Zayn, leaned back up against a crate with a man behind the camera asking him a question.

"What is your opinion on John Cena?"

Sami Zayn
I've talked to the guy at length about a few thing, the problems in Syria, the issues in our government and just wrestling in general. He's a really swell guy and very knowledgeable, I feel we can have intellectual conversations and then go out there and beat peoples teeth in.

Sami chuckles to himself


"What is your opinion on AJ Styles?"


Sami Zayn gets a straight look on his face


Sami Zayn
He thinks the earth is flat, that's all that needs to be said.

"Who do you think will win between the two come Emergence?"



Sami Zayn
Honestly, Cena will put up one hell of a fight, but, I think Styles will have the Club out there to save him, then the numbers game will overwhelm him, hate to say it, but I see Styles winning this one.

Then the image changes, finding ourselves backstage now with Cody Rhodes. He smirks, having appeared to have been asked the same question.



My opinion? Well since you've asked I can't really say much, he seems like a stand up guy and someone who could put on a good match with anyone he Faces, but then again we haven't faced each other in quite awhile so I believed we would put on a good show *cody winks and smirks*

"What about AJ Styles?"

Ah "The Phenomenal One" well he's definitely the man I like to watch, him and the bullet club are doing big things. Anxious to watch there match at emergence.



"Who do you think will win between the two come Emergence?"

Uhh, AJ for sure, hes got it in the bag.


We then move again, this time to what appears to be the XWL training center. This time, another popular member of the roster appears, being asked the same question as before.

"What is your opinion on John Cena?"



John Cena? He's a fool. He's got good intentions, and he's probably a decent guy, but he doesn't know his place. There's a reason he hasn't been able to stick around here for any respectable length of time. He can smile and be the good guy as much as he wants, but that won't get him results. If he wants to be a role model so bad, there are other venues for that. Leave the fighting to the real competitors.


"What is your opinion on AJ Styles?"

He's hiding behind his little friends in the Bullet Club. If he is was impressive as he thinks he is, he wouldn't need a posse of edgy little creeps surrounding him. I have no respect for those that rely on others to get their dirty work done. I feel like that much should be obvious.



"Who do you think will win between the two come Emergence?"

Nobody. Not Cena, not Styles, and definitely not XWL. The battle between those egos is not going to end by pinfall. I guarantee you something dodgy is going to happen. It's an embarrassment. Now if you'll excuse me, I have more important places to be.

And we move, one more time, this time finding a very familiar face to both of these men. The one and only, Matt Sydal.

"What is your opinion on John Cena?"


The John Cena of the past was far too entitled, he thought the whole world revolved around him, that he should be plastered everywhere, and if he wasn't? Then he'd run off to film a couple movies and then make some "grand" return. It's no secret I've not been a fan of him or fooled by his "Hustle, Loyalty, & Respect" but I will say this, I don't know if it's due to the circumstances at hand, or if he's truly realized the truth after all this time finally, but a month ago, The Bullet Club fired the first shot against me, and instead of standing by and letting it happen, to a man that he himself wasn't too much of a fan of, he put all that side and proved in that moment, to be a standup guy. Will we ever be friends? Unlikely, but did I gain a bit of respect for him? Absolutely, and it's because he earned it, as has anyone that's currently standing up against The Bullet Club. They think they've got us where they want us, but I believe John Cena would agree, we're exactly where we wanna be.



"What is your opinion on AJ Styles?"


He's a prick, not a prick like me, the loveable one, no..I mean the lowest of the low that somehow sinks lower and lower just when you think he's stooped his lowest. This is a man that tried to end my career, a man that quit on live television the night after Final Stand because he wasn't handed the world. The same guy that weeks later, ruined a match between myself and John Cena, why? Because he wasn't the center of attention, all the "buzz" about him "quitting" had faded. See, AJ Styles is as egocentric as it gets, he's the same type of man that FINALLY wins The World Heavyweight Championship, another man STEALS HIS TITLE, THE SAME NIGHT, and what does he do? HE GOES ON A 3 WEEK TOUR AROUND THE WORLD SO HE CAN STEAL TITLES FROM EVERY COMPANY AND LEAVE THEM WITH NOTHING! I've said a lot about John Cena, but that's one thing he'd never do. If I stole Cena's title? He would have hunted me down THAT NIGHT and taken it back. So what is my opinion of AJ Styles when it gets down to it? Nothing. Because beneath all this nonsense surrounding his contract, and all of the numbers he's surrounded himself with, he himself is NOTHING.

"Who do you think will win between the two come Emergence?"


That depends, will half the roster swarm the ring revealing themselves as the latest member to Join The Bullet Club? Or will it be a straight up match? Will the referee remove his stripes and underneath it be a Bullet Club shirt? Honestly, anything can, and most likely will happen, why? Because on any given day, a guy like John Cena, myself, CM Punk, The Undertaker, we could beat ANY member of The Bullet Club. So on this day, at Emergence, when John Cena finally gets his hands on AJ Styles one on one, what I'd like to happen, is for AJ to get his ass handed to him, and his attitude "adjusted" but what's likely to happen? Is he, just like every single one of us, will have another hoop to unexpectedly jump through, and for his sake, I hope he's able to, the last thing we need is for The Bullet Club to be given more ammo for their arrogance.


With that, the screen cuts out to a hype for the upcoming match between the two.

Clearly, Asuka thinks she's so great she can do it on her own, so The Queen is letting her.







As the referee's hand slaps the mat for a third time the crowd erupts with cheers Natalya has defeated Asuka in tonight's Main-Event. She sits on her knees for a moment, exhausted due to the incredible skill Asuka utilized during this match, the moment Charlotte Flair left her high and dry, anyone else may have admitted defeat...but Asuka? She brought the fight that much harder.

[Mauro Ranallo]
And with that, The Queen of Harts has officially defeated every single one of the participants in The Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

[Corey Graves]
I gotta give credit where it's due, she's been unstoppable ever since Downpour and has practically beaten everyone in the division... besides The Women's Champion of course.

[Mauro Ranallo]
A stat that could change should she win at Emergence.


The referee raises Natalya's hand in victory, who forgoes the celebrating until Ruby staggers into the ring, she hit the outside hard when Asuka sent her plummeting to the floor just moment before she would get caught in Natalya's N-Powerbomb. But as Ruby said during her sit down with Michael Cole alongside Natalya earlier in the evening, she's tough. The referee raises both women's arms in the air to tremendous cheers, they remained unified from start to finish, unlike their opponents, and it allowed them to stand victories, together.  

[Mauro Ranallo]
A big victory for Ruby Riot and Natalya Neidhart as we close out tonight's show asking ourselves if one of these two women will be the one to climb the ladder at Emergence and retrieve the opportunity of a lifetime?

[Corey Graves]
Keyword, one of them, Cole. They may stand together tonight, but at Emergence, it's every woman for herself, and your greatest ally before then could become your greatest enemy when that bell sounds.

[Mauro Ranallo]
A fair point, and with Charlotte Flair leaving Asuka to the wolves tonight, she may have made herself a very big target of The Empress of Tomorrow, perhaps ensuring she doesn't have a tomorrow when Asuka's wrath has been felt.

[Corey Graves]
The Queen may have put a target on her back with tonight's actions, but she's always ready for anything, let's not forget she's a Flair...and they get it done better than anyone else. They're the dirtiest players in the game, and in a match like Money in The Bank, the dirtier, the better.

As Ruby smiles through the pain that came from Asuka's attack, her arm lifted in the air by the referee, her head turns to look at the body of her defeated opponent. Her head slowly turns up towards Natalya, before going back down to Asuka. When her head turns back to Natalya, the smile slowly fades off of her face, replaced by what appears to be internal conflict. As the referee lowers the arms of both women, Natalya looks towards Ruby in excitement. However, when she notices the look on Ruby's face, that excitement turns into confusion. Before she can act further, Ruby grabs a hold of Natalya's wrist and irish whips her into the ropes. As she comes barreling back, Ruby connects with a Superkick directly into Nat's chin, dropping her with a convincing thud to the mat. She appears to be knocked out cold and lays motionless.  

[Mauro Ranallo]
I can't believe it! Ruby has turned on Natalya! Why would she do that?

[Corey Graves]
She's being smart Mauro. She's cementing her status as the true top contender in the Money in the Bank match. Natalya was the only person that had pinned her, and now she's leveled the playing field.

Ruby stands above Natalya and looks down at her. She is emotionless, neither proud nor ashamed of her actions. Ruby stares down at her still body until Asuka stirs in her peripheral vision. Ruby turns to make sure nothing has changed on that front. After confirming, she looks back down at Natalya before turning her head up towards the ceiling where the Money in the Bank briefcase hangs directly above her. The camera slowly zooms out and the final seconds of Anarchy show Ruby standing over her former ally, with her sights set on the briefcase, and everything it represents.
