*As XWL's Edition of Redemption moves along, the fans in the stands burst into applause when they see Mr. XWL himself, Rob Van Dam appear on the screen.*
[[Rob Van Dam]] Hey XWL Universe, it's Rob Van Dam here, wanting to tell all of YOU what he's thinking right now. So, two weeks ago I came back at Eye for an Eye to get revenge on Kane for the title shot he stole from me all the way back in 2010. As all of you may or may not remember, I was set to be the Number One Contender for Dolph Ziggler's Intercontinental Championship, only for Kane to attack me numerous times before matches, weakening me to the point that when we finally met in the ring, I had little strength left to beat him. But you all remember, Rob Van Dam doesn't back down without a fight, and boy that was a fight alright. It's written in XWL History books now that RVD lost that match, but Kane hasn't gotten the chance to weaken me this time, he hasn't gotten the chance to take an advantage. So at Eye for an Eye when we meet, it'll be a fair fight. Whichever man loses is the true loser, and whoever wins is a true winner. Kane, I told you I wouldn't stop attacking you until I had my revenge, and I've kept my promise. I got the best of you at Eye for an Eye, and I got the best of you again on last week's Redemption when I hit the Van-Terminator on you, taking away your hopes of becoming United States Champion.
[[Rob Van Dam]] But you all know who I really am, I'm not about sneak attacks, I'm not about malicious, planned out attacks on people when their back is turned. I'm only doing to Kane what he did to me. I'm not going to lay in my bed at night only thinking about what to do you next Kane, for that's not who I am. Instead, I'll run right out where you can see me coming and still get the better of you. You might be The Big Red Monster, or as you say the True Monster of XWL, but I'm the true king of Extreme, I'm the true Mr. XWL himself, I don't need to be in the Main Event, because I'm the whole freaking show by myself. These fans don't come wanting to see CM Punk's next act, and they certainly don't come wanting to see what KANE will do. They come to see me take risks, fly through the sky, and hit the 5-Star Frog Splash on one sorry opponent.
[[Rob Van Dam]] I don't need a silly story behind me like you do Kane, you are always pretending to be a Monster, but we all know the only time that was believable was when you hid behind a mask. Now that we see you as you truly are, and can see your face, we know you aren't any monster, you're only a man. You're a man with a very deformed face. So, why do you want to fight me Kane, getting kicked in the face will only make your ugly face get uglier. You don't stand a chance with me Kane, I'm too quick for you, I'm always one step ahead of you. You'll be looking for me to hit you with the steel chair that's in my hand, but then a second later you'll be on the ground wondering where the chair went after I hit you with the Van Damninator.
[[Rob Van Dam]] Kane it's about time you learned how much I've gotten better since we last met in the ring. It's been a year and a half, since then you've seen me shoot up to the Main Event after winning Money in the Bank at Final Stand, seen me go back down again, and now it's come full circle because I'm fighting you again. But this time, it'll be me who comes out the winner, but you won't lose and then move onto greatness like me, you'll be losing and going to be forgotten about. The only people who still fear you are the ones who aren't confident in their own abilities. I'll be showing everyone exactly who "Kane" is. But that's all in time, yes, at Monster Bash, I'll be exposing your weaknesses to the world. When I pin your shoulders to the mat and all you see are stars. I'll be the one moving on to glory like I was before... But that's not coming until Monster Bash, let me tell you guys a little about my opponent tonight.
[[Rob Van Dam]] Tonight, for those of you who have looked at XWL's set match card for tonight, I'm set to face the United States Champion, Kevin Steen. For those of you who did not tune in last week, we had quite an incident last week. I was only trying to take out Kane, but Kevin Steen thought he had to get involved. I naturally didn't want any trouble so I offered my hand, and what do you think happens? That "fucktard lard asshole" hits the Package Piledriver on me. Dude, seriously? I try to help and you repay me by hitting your most devastating move on me? Come on, just whatever dude, you messed with the wrong guy. Because XWL Booking has done a great thing putting us together, because not only do I get to show you why RVD is someone you want as your ally and not your enemy, but I get to show you guys for the first time since returning that I can still dominate the same way I once did. I'll show you once again, just how Rob Van Dam is.
[[Rob Van Dam]] So Steen, I hope you're ready because you're about to get one of the best beatings of your life when you step into the ring with me. And Kane, you better not interfere in this match, because if you do I'll personally be making sure you don't walk out of Monster Bash breathing. I can do it Kane, because I'm the whole Fn show, One of a Kind, and most importantly I'm
ROB VAN DAM!
*RVD gets up from his sitting position and walks out into the hallway of the backstage area where we lose sight of him and fade ahead to our next segment...*
*Edge's theme hits and the crowd instantly burst into cheers as smoke fills the entrance ramp. Edge walks through the smoke and makes his way down the ramp. Edge skips his usual taunt on the ramp and makes his way down the ramp. He reaches the end and runs towards the ring, sliding in and laying on his stomach. After a few seconds he get's up and walks toward the other side of the ring where he is handed a microphone from the ring announcer. Edge walks back to the center of the ring and begins to speak.*
[[Edge]] Last week I told Mr. Fn that I wanted answers from him and answers is exactly what I intend to get out of him. I want them answers now so Fn, leave Kane backstage and come out here and tell me exactly why you attacked me or am I going to have to go to the back there and find you myself?
A few minutes pass and Edge leans on the ropes and looks around he raises the mic again very briefly
[[Edge]] I guess that gives me my ans..
Suddenly the lights begin to flicker on and off the sound of static filling the arena speakers
As the crowd looks around the static suddenly stops and light laughter can be heard over the PA which seems to be getting louder and louder as the minutes pass.
Edge simply looks around and smirks when the lighting in the arena changes to a deep dark red and the audience is illuminated in a dark reddish glow.
Edge paces around the ring when suddenly the laughter stops. A few seconds later a voice can be heard throughout the arena
????: Eeeedddddgggee…. I hear you’re looking for me. I also have heard that you, want some kind of explanation as to why I’ve done what I did? Well, here’s the thing Edge, I don’t think you deserve an explanation. Honestly, there’s only one thing you deserve, and that’s that I come out there and RIP your arms off and BEAT YOU SENSELESS with them. I would think someone as smart as you, would realize that, I don’t give out reasons why I do them when asked. I, only tell why I’ve done something, when I feel like it. Since you’ve been such a good little Edge, maybe, just maybe, I’ll humor you for once.
The voice fades and Edge begins to look around
A few minutes pass when suddenly Fn’s theme fills the arena
After several minutes Fn appears on the stage. He stands still for a few minutes and then quickly thrusts his arms outward. Upon doing so, a giant rush of flames goes off behind him.
Fn smirks and makes his way down to ringside. Approaching the stairs he stares deep into Edge’s eyes and slowly pulls at his hair before walking up the steps and into the ring. The two stand inches from each other, when Fn motions for a mic. He looks around at the crowd for a moment and then turns his attention to Edge and raises his mic as he speaks
Fn: Let me see if I understand this right Edge. Someone who proclaims himself to be the “Rated-R Superstar” and is known amongst the world as one of the innovators of the TLC match, wants to know why I attacked him?!
Fn smirks and begins to tug at his hair
Fn: It’s quite simple actually. Ever since I’ve been back, I’ve wanted to make an impact. I was once known as the innovator of Xtreme, bringing in that very X-Treme Championship you’re hoping to fight for and win. Over time, I’ve caused so much pain, agony and destruction in my path, most people these days wouldn’t DARE call me out like this and demand an explanation. If anything Mr. “Rated R Superstar” I’m the one who should be demanding an explanation from you.
Fn glares and gets right up into Edge’s face
Fn: Who on earth do you think YOU are calling someone like me out here to this ring? Don’t you know what all I’ve done for this company?! If you don’t, I’ll give you a brief summary. Not only have I brought in new innovative championships but, I’ve also lit a fire under each and every SINGLE superstar in the back. I’m the type of person, that when I WANT something I TAKE it, no questions asked! So, do you really want to know why I attacked you? Well, fine, I’ll tell you.
Fn begins to breathe a little heavy and he lightly laughs before speaking again
Fn: I see that look in your eye, I know what you’re thinking. You’re probably thinking what is he getting at, he’s NOTHING compared to me right Edge? Well, I know you think you’re better than me, and that’s exactly why I caved your skull in with your very own move you created. Not for ONE SECOND am I going to sit by and even let you think that you’re better. When in reality, I KNOW I’m miles ahead of you in size, speed and skills. So, I got to thinking, I know you’re going to be challenging for the Xtreme Championship soon. Here’s what I propose, after you win how about we show these people here, what the true meaning of the word X-TREME is and why someone like us, deserves that championship compared to the ignorant idiot who tried to change it to the Pure Championship Mr. John Bradshaw Layfield. Of course, after the match, I can’t guarantee you’ll walk out with the belt but, it is your stipulation choice, when and IF you win that title. So, what do you say Edge?!
Fn begins to pull at his hair and dons a sick smile waiting for Edge’s response
[[Edge]] So... You done talking crap? Seriously, you come out here in your white jumpsuit talking about how good and scary you are when you haven't done anything scary in who knows how long and you haven't won a match in weeks, maybe months. Only thing you do now a days is hide behind Kane considering he's the only one who's able to talk shit, and kick ass in the process. You on the other hand are just... meh.
*The crowd begins to chant "You sucks" towards the direction of Fn.*
[[Edge]] One thing you said did stand out to me, something about you being miles ahead of me in speed, size and skills. Only thing that is true about any of those is Size to be honest, just look at this guy, it looks like he's growing a second Fn. Maybe... A Mini Fn!
[[Edge]] Now onto serious matters Fn. You want a Xtreme Title match if I beat Zack Ryder, right? Well look, there's atleast 10 other superstars waiting in line most likely so I'll talk to Vickie and see about getting you a title match. So you know what that means? Fn, I will give you my answer next week after the title match and on the Cutting Edge where you will be my guest, good night folks.
*Edge drops the microphone and attempts to exit the ring when all of a sudden Fn rushes him from behind and clubs Edge in the back of the head. Edge lands with a thud against the ropes and falls backwards. Fn picks him up and smirks mouthing words to him as Edge struggles to breathe. He looks around and quickly throws Edge into the opposite corner. He slowly walks over to the other side and looks around at the audience. Fn grins evilly and rushes with all his might and leaps in a giant splash crushing Edge into the corner turnbuckle.
Edge staggers and slowly moves forward. Fn smirks and grabs him by the neck. Slowly walking towards the center of the ring he runs a little and leaps into the air going for the Shock Treatment. Somehow, before impact Edge miraculously escapes and rolls out of the ring landing on the mat in a thud. Fn stands in the center of the ring and yells throwing his arm up in the air as his theme hits and Redemption fades to commercials
