The kid smiles and Cena grabs a pen and looks to be about to sign the shirt.

The camera pans out as we see a man stood next to the son, as the camera gets higher the audience are able to notice that it’s british boxing hero…Ricky Hatton! A pop is heard from the crowd as Ricky makes an appearance on the camera.

Yeah, I mean my lad here he’s being a big fan of xwl for a long time and I mean as you can see he’s a huge fan of yourself. When I found out XWL Redemption was coming to London you know I just had to treat the little man and he’s really loving it. He was a little disappointed about your match earlier tonight but ya’ know I think meeting you has really got him in high hopes again.

John Cena
Ahh that’s always good to hear and yeah it took me back quite a bit aswell, I mean I gotta’ give credit where it’s due Jack showed true sportsmanship so I wasn’t too upset about the loss. I’ll bounce back and get a win next week.



Ricky Hatton
Well yeah that’s just what you gotta’ hope for ain’t it. I mean I’ve lost a few fights in my time and it’s just about the mentality of it all really. But I mean I’ve watched you fight and some of those matches you’ve been in have been pretty hardcore. I mean you’re facing people over 7foot tall or maybe 500 pounds, it’s pretty insane and people are right, it’s a lot better live than it is on TV.

John Cena
Well I’m glad to hear that, I mean I always feel like them matches it’s all about heart but boxing, that’s on a whole different wavelength. I’ve seen a few of your matches and I’m not just saying this but I’m quite the fan of boxing and yourself. Now I actually saw this one time where you knocked a dude out and it was just insane I mean you have like rapid quick fists of fury! Maybe you’ll have to teach me some boxing tips so I can use ‘em in the ring sometime!

Ricky and his son walk away as Cena looks on; he waits for a few moments before walking into a nearby room in the corridor. As he walks in he gets stopped by Josh Matthews.

Yes, earlier tonight I got told he is over on Breakdown and now for the first time in 3 or 4 weeks I am able to stay in my locker room without been attacked! Go to my car without having my head thrown through the window! Or having him copy The Undertakers gimmick and messing about with the faulty lights! So I’m great!

John earlier tonight you and Jack Swagger had a great match and unfortunately Jack got the win but then after John Morrison tried to get involved and attack Swagger but thankfully you were there to save the day and help Swagger, what are your thoughts on this?



John Cena
My thoughts? Well first things first Jack if you’re watching this great match. After your recent run of form the last few months I did underestimate you. I was expecting a great match and a great match I got, and you showed fine sportsmanship and have not followed the crowd here and decided to be the bad guy so for that bravo. Now for what happened afterwards it even caught me off guard. We saw John who was hidden inside a costume and first let me just say what is with people hiding to make an impact? First we saw Sin cara in a mask months ago, then we saw the beautiful people masked attacking Layla and now John Morrison was hiding in a costume? Can’t anyone just man up and if they have a problem with another person then go to the ring and settle that problem man to man or woman in the case of the Layla example. Now when John uncovered and attacked Swagger I was just in the right place at the right time to help. I did what any good superstar would have done and I felt I did that well. Now john pulling such a cheap stunt made me lost a lot of respect for you. When I watched you in the weeks with Edge and building up to the Breakdown 5 man gauntlet I had a lot of respect for you. You liked the people and they loved you. Somewhere along the way you lost that and have trailed down the wrong path, and I hope Swagger kicks some sense into you sometime soon. Now what’s next Joshy?

Well I think everyone wants to know about this huge match announced for The Monster Bash where you go one on one with Cody, it’s going to be last man standing which you asked for and if you win Cody is never allowed back in XWL. What are your thoughts on this?



John Cena
My thoughts on Cody? Well I think it’s pretty simple, he is just a Barbie wanna’ be with a bad dress sense and a obsession with a mirror but I think It’s pretty obvious I don’t like him and he dosen’t like me but instead of attacking him for weeks to prove a point I’m not going to do that. I don’t see the point in doing that. I am going to do what I do best and that is wrestle. I am going to wait until Monster Bash and any problem I have is going to be settled in that ring. Now I know that Cody is going to want to win at any cost, I mean hell it’s his career on the line right! But all I can say is that I asked for a last man standing cause I do not just want to beat Cody 1 2 3 in that right. I want to leave him in every locker room, throw him through every car window maybe mess with the lights every now and again to make sure Cody will not be able to make the 10 count. Now this is the time to get serious, Cody it’s time to put up or shut up. Now I know all these fans will know exactly who they want to win and as Foley said when I do win I’m celebrating with the fans and as the realisation sets in over you never coming back I’m going to call Mick and yes Mick I’m keeping you to your word here, and every other superstar who wants to help and together we are going to throw you out of the building!

Now Josh I don’t know if you heard or noticed but I was just talking to Ricky about him giving me a few boxing tips and while were only here in England for a short time I think I’m going to go quickly find him and see if he’ll show me how to KO a guy. So yeah…gotta’ go!

And I'm here right now with the winner of tonight, Madison Rayne.

*Madison clears her throat, getting ready to speak*

[[[[Madison Rayne: ]]]I'm think you'll find that when it's comes down to me and Eve Torres, I'M ALWAYS the winner. Three matches, three wins, it's as simple as that. Nothing more and nothing less.

[[[[Madison Rayne: ]]]You're sorry? You're apologising for not knowing the right facts, that you need to know to do your damn job. It's been what? Over a month and you still can't do your job properly? How are you still employed? And for the love of god, tell me you're not sleeping with the General Manager.



*Madison puts on a slightly innocent voice, mocking Christy Hemme*

Earlier tonight, I once again I defeated Eve Torres, time and time again this girl tries to hang with the real star of this division, and she once again got beat. About two hours of ring time between the two of us and surprise surprise, I'm still undefeated against her, and that's that.



[[[[Madison Rayne: ]]]It's got to the point where she's not even relevant anymore, not to me and not to anyone, but one thing that is relevant is that at Eye for an Eye, Michelle McCool disrespected me, she told me and the entire world that nobody cares about Madison Rayne, that I was irrelevant, she said that I needed to make some noise, because apparently unlike her, I haven't been vocal enough about what I think, which seems weird to me because for someone that got beat down two weeks ago, Michelle's been awfully quiet, it's almost as if the failed Biology teacher Palatka, Florida has lost her voice, or well should it be, she hasn't got anything to say apart from little irrelevant Madison Rayne kicked my ass and further plummeted me into the cess pool of that is this shows diva division, whilst Madison Rayne rises to the top of the entire division, and that's just where I belong at the top. Not the pipsqueak AJ Lee and her man beast model friend Kaitlyn, and especially not that ridiculously boring and repetitive, pink haired, Canadian idiot, Nattie Neidhart.



[[[[Madison Rayne: ]]]Nattie Neidhart, somehow getting ANOTHER shot at the gold? Are you actually kidding me? What has she done to even be in contention of a title shot, let alone after losing at Eye for an Eye, and thank god she did, because I couldn't live with myself if Nattie Neidhart was not only give a title shot before me, but actually win the title before me? No way, and after all that she gets another title shot? There's only one person so stupid to award her that privilege, and that's Vickie Guerrero.



[[[[Madison Rayne: ]]]Because if there's anybody that stupid to waste an opportunity like that TWICE then it's Vickie Guerrero, if anyone epitomises making stupid decisions it's Vickie Guerrero, the fact that she even has a job here just like you Christy is beyond me, what's she even done to prove her worth to this company. Because if making stupid decisions is what it takes to get a high pay check and recognition, then maybe I'll start taking after you, Christy. How do you think I managed to get TV time this week? **Redemption comes back from a commercial break and we are backstage in the locker room area. In the locker room is XWL United States Champion Kevin Steen. Steen looks exhausted after his match not long ago with RVD. He is sat on a chair, huffing and puffing but not like a big bad wolf, and his US title is on the table as he looks on at it. Steen starts to talk**



Kevin Steen: Tonight, I am well and truly fucked, I mean that Van Dam is one speedy little bastard ain't he. I got to give credit where credit is due, RVD pushed me to a whole new level tonight. But that where I just proved I can compete on anyones level here in XWL, doesn't matter if your some big giant fucktard or some circus acting flippy floppy shithead I can beat your ass. Rob I saw what you said pre-match, the comments you made about me. Well Rob you wonder why I hit you with my package piledriver?I mean you really want to know?Rob I know your not the sharpest tool in the box, probably because all that goddamn weed you smoke. I did that to you because I simply do not like you, I don't like anyone, I don't even like El Generico and another reason why I did it, because I can.



Kevin Steen: You offer your hand, I don't want your handshake, I didn't even want your fucking help, I mean Kane is a tough monster, he is a sadistic red son of a whore but I could handle him, I mean we are similar but I don't mind dropping down a few levels to dish out a classic ass whooping because Kevin Steen said so. So Robby I will not say sorry for that and you had your chance to get a little revenge but you didn't really did you??But hey tough luck on that. I have defended my title and retained against Psycho Big Balls Miz, I defended it against SuperDuper Fruity Pebble John Cena, then I defended it against the Big Red Ugly Fucktard Kane. So I mean what's an asshole going to do?? Anderson, you can step into that ring and you will see across from you someone who will not give this title up to no-one, I worked to hard, I went through too much to get this US championship, so how about you got out maybe do a promo saying how your gunna beat me blah blah and just deal with the fact is I will fuck your shit up before you even think about taking my title. [Justin Roberts] Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is our main event of the evening and it is scheduled for one fall!





Justin Roberts: Introducing first, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada... weighing in at 226 lb...

*A huge roar of boos is heard as Jericho makes his way towards the ring with a clear confidence in his stride.*



Joey Styles: There he is ladies and gentlemen, Chris Jericho, one of the three men that will collide at The Monster Bash in a triple threat no disqualification match for the number one contendership to the World Heavyweight Championship.

Michael Cole: That's right, he'll be joined by his opponent tonight Justin Gabriel, and XWL's resident goofball, Ted DiBiase. All three men have proven why they deserve a chance to challenge for the biggest prize in this company, but only one man will get that one on one opportunity.

*He ignores a few fans who have their hands held out and climbs the ring steps.Once Jericho is in the ring, he stands on the near side of the ring and performs his customary cold stare into the sea of XWL fans before him, his eyes slowly moving from one side of the arena to the other.*

*An Unfamiliar theme hits across the arena*




Justin Roberts: And his opponent, from Cape Town, South Africa weighing in at 213lb ... Justin Gabriel!




*Justin Gabriel makes his way onto the ramp to huge heat from the audience. Gabriel just simply stares at Chris Jericho with a cocky smirk as he makes his way down to the ring*

Michael Cole: This young man right here has an opportunity tonight to get revenge against Chris Jericho, just look at his determined look on his face, he wants to finally pin Jericho, and tonight could very well be the night he does that.

Joey Styles: But it will not be an easy feat to accomplish, Chris Jericho has a hall of fame worthy list of accomplishments and he didn't get all that by shear luck.

Michael Cole: Well I know that Joey, I still think Justin knows what a win here will do for him, and knowing what it could bring has to give him a slight advantage, he's bound to be focused, while Chris Jericho seems to not be taking him seriously, which could prove to be a huge mistake on his part.



*Gabriel ignores the boo's from the Audience and doesn't take his eyes of his opponent Chris Jericho*



*Gabriel climbs the ring steps and climbs onto the top rope, once again looking at Chris Jericho with a cocky smirk before doing his signature taunt on the top rope*




*The ref looks at both Gabriel and Jericho to make sure both are ready to begin the match both men stare at one another, this goes on for a few seconds before the ref can be heard asking both men “Are you ready” both men nod.*



*A huge eruption of excited cheers sounds suddenly as Ted DiBiase's theme plays throughout the P.A. Chris Jericho and Justin Gabriel both look at the stage confused, annoyed, and wondering what the hell is going on. The referee tells the timekeeper to wait on ringing the bell for a moment, Ted's theme continues playing for a few more seconds...Until an excited and sharply dressed Ted DiBiase walks out from the back!*


Michael Cole: What the...What's he doing out here?!

Joey Styles: Your guess is as good as mine, he competed earlier tonight against John Morrison, do you think he's out here to scout his two opponents that he'll face at The Monster Bash?

Michael Cole: Please don't tell me he's coming down here to join us on commentary...

Joey Styles: Seems like we'll have a special guest commentator joining us for tonight's main-event!


*The cameras switch back to Ted who slaps the hands of the fans along the ramp, he smiles at the members of his DiBiase Posse then as he finishes his walk down the ramp, he looks at Jericho and Gabriel with a smirk, to which they respond by both asking him what he's doing out here. He simply smiles in response then begins to walk around the ringside barricade holding out his hand for the fans to touch as he continues to make his way to apparently the announcers position. Joey Styles slides a chair down beside him, then stands up to shake Ted's hand, DiBiase looks off to the fans behind him and shouts "Let's do this!" before taking a seat and placing the headset provided by Joey on his head *

Joey Styles: Ladies and gentlemen, members of the DiBiase Posse, we've got a treat for you, Ted himself is going to help us commentate this exciting main-event.

Michael Cole: We don't really need any help...

Joey Styles: Cole, what happened to the guy that was praising Ted when Maryse was out here with us earlier tonight?

Ted DiBiase: Don't mind him Joey, I think I know what made him so cheerful before, does Cole have a crush on Maryse? You know Michael, we're pretty good friends, I could tell her how nice you are, how respectful you are, and how good looking a man of your age is!

Michael Cole: You'd....You'd do that?

Ted DiBiase: Well I would, except I don't like lying!

Michael Cole: Oh very funny!



Ted DiBiase: I know, but seriously Michael, even if you were all those things, which trust me, you're far from them, but if you were, I wouldn't feel right about helping you two time the Miz like that. I thought you two had something special?

The ref having finally backed both men into their corners and calmed them down, then points at the bellkeeper and the bell is rung and the match is underway! To start the match both Gabriel and Jericho begin slowly circling halfway around the ring before coming in for a tie up.


Joey Styles: Ted, I know you're on a quest to become World Heavyweight Champion, and I really hope you do, but should that not work out, do you think you could talk to Vickie about being my co commentator every week?

Ted DiBiase: Commentating every week, with Mr. Oh My God, that does sound like quite the idea...Replacing Cole, I don't know though, I don't think I'm that great at color commentary....But then again neither is Cole!

Michael Cole: Yeah, that's right I'm...HEY!


Jericho who has the strength advantage begins to get control and locks in a simple arm bar. Gabriel, who has the speed advantage rolls over and quickly counters the arm bar into one of his own. Jericho quickly pulls Gabriel in and hits him with a vicious knee to the gut, he looks around smirking as Gabriel is now on one knee. Jericho picks Gabriel up and irish whips him into the ropes, Jericho ducks as Gabriel runs over, and springs himself off the other ropes, Jericho quickly gets to his feet and runs at Gabriel looking to hit a clothesline, Gabriels speed comes into play at this point and he quickly ducks the clothesline, he stopped a few feet away as Jericho turns around, PELE KICK!!! Gabriel hits a perfect pele kick connecting off Jericho’s temple, Jericho goes to the floor as Gabriel quickly covers…

Ted DiBiase: Good kick out from Jericho right there, I think it's going to take more than one move to put away the man of one thousand and four holds.

Gabriel throws Jericho back onto the mat and quickly goes for another pinfall…

Michael Cole: Justin doesn't think so, he's going back into the cover.

Joey Styles: It's just not enough this early into the match.

Ted DiBiase: It was wise to attempt a second cover though, you never know if someone used all the energy they had left to kick out the first time.

Jericho who is near the ropes quickly rolls out of the ring to get a moments breath. Gabriel follows and as he spins Jericho around Jericho begins to start dealing a series of shots to the temple of Gabriel knocking him back. Gabriel quickly repays Jericho from earlier with a kick to the gut. Jericho looks winded but quickly Gabriel looks to be in control and goes to irish whip Jericho into the steel steps, Jericho manages to reverse and quickly counters sending Gabriel shoulder first into the steps. Gabriel clutches his shoulder as Jericho hits him with a strike to the temple before picking him up and throwing him in the ring, Gabriel is layed down on the mat as Jericho tries to seize the opportunity and go for a cover…

Joey Styles: Chris Jericho's going for his first pin of the evening.

Michael Cole: But Justin Gabriel will not quit this early in the match.

Ted DiBiase: Trust me, I know from experience, he deserves a lot more credit than he gets.

Gabriel gets the shoulder up, as he kicks out Jericho gets to his feet and picks up a groggy Gabriel, he locks him in position for a suplex, he waits a few seconds smirking to the crowd before quickly delivering a snap suplex. As Gabriel hits the mat he quickly clutches his back in pain. Jericho gets up to his feet and smirks looking pleased with what he has just done. Gabriel now is positioned near the center of the ring and Jericho realises, he quickly runs over to the ropes and looks to be hitting the lionsault! He jumps off the second rope high in the air…He looks to be about to connect but NO! Gabriel quickly rolls away and Jericho connects with the mat. A few jeers from the crowd can be heard as Jericho holds his front in pain. Gabriel now looks to take advantage and now begins to deliver kick after kick to the thighs of Jericho, after about 4 kicks to the thighs Gabriel begins to focus only on the left leg delivering 2 kicks knocking him down to one knee, he pauses for a moment and just like Jericho did earlier he smirks before kicking him in the side of the head! Jericho falls to the mat as Gabriel quickly scrambles over for a cover!

Joey Styles: What a kick! This could be it!

Jericho powers the shoulder up and Gabriel cannot believe it, Gabriel seems to be frustrated by that last kick out and begins arguing with the ref claiming that the count was too slow but the ref stays adamant on his decision and tells Gabriel to shut up and get on with the match.

Ted DiBiase: Alright so you guys do this on a regular basis, from watching a match, what does arguing with the referee like that do?

Joey Styles: If anything I think it hinders the person doing so.

Ted DiBiase: Instead of complaining about a near fall, stay on the attack and keep trying to keep them down for a three count, that's what I always do.

Michael Cole: Yes Ted, but that doesn't work out for you much now does it?

Ted DiBiase: Whatever do you mean?

Michael Cole: Exactly what I said, you don't have the accomplishments neither of these two have, so really maybe you're the one going about things the wrong way.

Ted DiBiase: Yeah Cole, you know what, you're right, next time I get a two count in a match, I'll be a real man and bitch at the referee, thanks for the great advice.

Michael Cole: Whatever...

Ted DiBiase: I prefer to go about things the right way, I follow the rules, I don't take any shortcuts and anyone that does just shows they apparently lack the skills a true superstar needs.


Gabriel who now has his back to Jericho is unaware of his position and that he is now on one knee. Gabriel then turns around and Jericho runs at him looking to hit the codebreaker! BUT NO! Gabriel managed to somehow cling onto the ropes behind him as Jericho goes down to the mat. Gabriel holds his neck as that looks like it might have jarred his neck but never the less he continues to move on, he looks at Jericho and looks at the position he is in…so close to the corner and lying up on the mat. Gabriel tries to seize the opportunity and heads to the top rope. He looks around just squatting on the turnbuckle before raising himself up. He looks around before throwing himself off looking to hit his sternum crushing 450 splash…will he connect?,,,,,,NO! Jericho manages to once again roll out of the ring as Gabriel falls hard into the mat. Jericho waits for a few moments to just stretch his arm and get some air but a cocky fan in the front row begins to say a few comments, Jericho tells the fan to shut up before quickly sliding back into the ring. Gabriel is leaning on the second rope as Jericho notices this he does his signature move, he begins to run on one spot before propelling himself of the opposite rope and slamming his leg into the back of Gabriels head pressing his throat into the ropes, Gabriel drops down to the map as Jericho goes for a quick cover…

NO! Gabriel manages to raise his foot and get it on the bottom rope. Jericho looks on as the ref points to Gabriel’s foot which is hanging on the bottom rope. Jericho does not look happy and he gets to his feet before stamping away at the ankle of Gabriel. He continues to stamp down and then holds the ropes for added leaverage as the ref begins to count to 5…

Jericho takes a few steps back after just coming so close to risking disqualification as Gabriel clutches his ankle. Jericho looks around and looks what he can do next, he looks towards the corner and looks to have an idea. Jericho slowly gets to the top rope and then looks around at the crowd. He jumps off the top rope and looks to hit a diving elbow drop….NO! Gabriel rolls out of the way and now both men are on the mat. The ref begins to count…

Both men now begin to show signs of like and head towards opposite sides of the ring.

Joey Styles: Seems like this match has taken a lot out of both men here.

Ted DiBiase: I know the feeling, Morrison earlier really gave me a run for my money.

Joey Styles: That was a great match between you two, Maryse seemed happy with your victory as well.

Ted DiBiase: Ha, yeah, she was quite happy.


Both men are slowly clambering up the ropes and look to be on one knee as the ref stops counting. Jericho is the first to get to his feet and begins to run at Gabriel, Gabriel ducks and holds down the top rope as Jericho goes flying over and landing hard on the outside. Gabriel looks around and holds onto the ropes, he waits for a few moments as Jericho gets to his feet groggily. He then throws himself over the top rope and delivers a huge cross body! Both men go to the ground as the crowd are going wild for this huge main event!

Michael Cole: So Ted, what exactly is the deal with you two? We asked Maryse earlier, she insisted you're just "friends" but a lot of people think it's more than that.

Ted DiBiase: Hate to disappoint you Cole, but she's right, we're just friends, nothing more.

Michael Cole: I don't think you acted like "just friends" after your match...Hugging her, her kissing you on the cheek, then you walking up the ramp arm and arm smiling at one another...

Ted DiBiase: This match isn't about the relationship between Maryse and I though.

Joey Styles: That's right Cole, stop being such a nosy person.

Michael Cole: Hey, he's the one not being honest about what's really going on.

Ted DiBiase: Fine, you got me Michael...I can't hide anything from you...We eloped before flying here, feels good to get that off my chest. Nothing like a drive through ceremony!

Michael Cole: ...Fine keep making jokes, I just don't see why you keep lying to everyone including your precious DiBiase Posse.

Ted DiBiase: Look I can take your pesky persistent questions, but don't you dare accuse me of lying to my fans. Nothing is going on, so how about you do your job for a change and call this match.




Gabriel rolls back into the ring, perhaps looking to win by count out? The ref begins to count as Jericho is still lying on the mat outside looking to try get back his whereabouts.

Before the ref can begin his count Chris Jericho shows why he is the best in the world at what he does and with a sudden burst of determination he rises to his feet and climbs up onto the apron, Gabriel watches this unfold and charges at Jericho with the intent of a huge spear but the veteran sidesteps him and cracks his jaw with a sickening knee as he flies onto the middle rope. Jericho enters the ring and with a sadistic smirk he steps up onto the back of Justin Gabriel using the top rope for leverage to choke him. The ref counts to four and Jericho breaks the hold showing his ring generalship, taking advantage of every situation given to him.

As Gabriel begins to gain a little whereabouts he slowly gets to his feet but turns around into a vicious chop from the Canadian, the crowd let out a hug grimace as Jericho unleashes another chop, and another, and another, until Gabriel is finally backed into the turnbuckle, Y2J takes a few steps backwards and charges at him with a huge clothesline in the corner! As Gabriel stumbles out towards the center of the ring Jericho decides to give chase as he bounces off the ropes and comes back with a massive bulldog! Laying out Justin in the middle of the ring. With the entire arena knowing what's next Chris Jericho makes a run for the ropes and prepares to hit the Lionsault! However just as he leaps into the air Gabriel rolls out of the way and rises to his feet, two steps ahead as always Jericho lands on his feet with the moonsault and charges towards Gabriel who superkicks him square on the jaw almost knocking some teeth out!

Ted DiBiase: What a super kick!

Joey Styles: You can say that again, wow Jericho may have to go a dentist after that one.

With a huge sigh of relief Gabriel takes this moment to get his breathe back looking down at the seemingly out cold Chris Jericho, any other time he would go for a cover but he is pissed off after those chops, he picks up Jericho by the hair and tosses him over the top rope towards the announce table. Jericho tries to stand using the commentators table to rest his back against but Gabriel is all over him, he begins to dish out a few chops of his own, each with a resounding cheer from the crowd at Jericho's misery. Gabriel decides to trade out the chops for something much worse, he grabs Jericho by the back of the head and drags him over towards the steps before bringing down his skull hard on the steel!

Michael Cole: Ouch, now that's brutal.

Ted DiBiase: I love aggressive matches like this, really fun to watch, not to be apart of though

*He laughs lightly.*

Justin smirks as he realizes that he has this match firmly in the palm of his hands, with a cocky shout towards a downed Jericho he kicks him square in the head before looking over to Ted DiBiase and mouthing, "You're next!" Ted laughs and shakes it off as Gabriel turns his attention back to the task at hand, he grabs Jericho's face but when he picks him up Chris see's an opportunity and rakes his eyes! Gabriel spins around in pain giving Jericho an easy target to hit a huge backdrop on the outside! Jericho takes a moment to get his bearings before picking up the young South African and rolling him in the ring at a 7 count.

Jericho slides in the ring quickly after him and stalks the youngster, Gabriel eventually gets to his feet but turns into a gut wrenching boot followed by a very swift, technically perfect Tigerbomb! Not fully content with his handy work Jericho decides to pick him up yet again and from behind delivers a harsh dragon suplex! Gabriel folds like an accordion and seems to be out for the count as Jericho hooks his leg for a cover...

Joey Styles: This could be it!

Michael Cole: Gabriel got folded from that move, I hate to say it but you might be right Joey.

NO! Somehow Justin Gabriel digs deep and kicks out!

Ted DiBiase: Now I know I may make a lot of jokes about Justin, but that right there was impressive.

Joey Styles: It sure was.

Jericho can't believe it, he gets up and holds his towards the referee showing him three fingers insisting that was a three. The referee stands his ground telling Jericho not to argue with hi. He then walks back over to Gabriel, starts to pick him up, but Gabriel counters with a stunning jaw breakerer leaving him dazed for a moment. Justin gets up to his feet then begins to fire away at him with a combination of kicks following with a huge discus elbow. Instead of covering him he drags him to the middle of the ring, then jumps over him possibly going for his signature moonsault, but Jericho grabs his foot as he lands, gets back to his feet, Gabriel stands helpless with his leg captured by Jericho, then out of no where comes up with a counter by nailing him with an enzuigiri with his free leg. He scurries to the cover hooking the leg

But Chris gets his shoulder off the mat staying in this match still.

Gabriel then looks at the top rope and seems like he's going for the 450 splash. He steps out onto the apron, makes his way to the top rope, but then Jericho gets up to his feet, charges at Gabriel who kicks him away, Justin stands up onto the top rope preparing for a dive, but Jericho being the veteran he is charges at the ropes causing Gabriel to lose his footing and fall crotch first onto the top turnbuckle. He begins to pound away at Gabriel's skull, then takes to the second rope, throwing Gabriel's arm over his back looking for what looks to be the early makings of a superplex. Chris slowly steps up onto the top rope now, pulling Gabriel up as well, but Gabriel begins to show life, he fights back delivering knees to the ribs, Jericho still tries for the superplex, but Gabriel delivers one last knee to the ribs and throws Jericho right to the mat with a huge gordbuster!

Ted DiBiase: Now that had to hurt!

Joey Styles: What an amazing counter from Justin Gabriel, this could be the opening he needs, he's on the top rope, Chris Jericho is lying flat on the mat, I think we all know what he's gotta be thinking.

Michael Cole: One move could end it all, will Gabriel be able to hit?

Ted DiBiase: I like his odds, I'll say that much.

Gabriel stands tall on the top rope, he looks down at the flat laid out Chris Jericho, then dives down with the 450 splash! But just as he's about to make impact, Jericho gets his knees up sending Justin crashing right into a road block of agony! Gabriel lays on top of Jericho's raised up knees, which gives Chris the chance he needed, he gets off the mat, pulls Gabriel's legs forward, then turns him over successfully locking him in the Walls of Jericho!

Ted DiBiase: Now this is my kind of match, I did not expect that at all.

Michael Cole: No one did, and now Chris Jericho could be well on his way to victory, this submission has garnered him wins over such great superstars and it's quite the painful submission.

Ted DiBiase: Trust me, I know from experience, that's just excruciating pain all the way, it takes everything you have not to instantly give up right then and there. But with that said, it's not impossible to escape such a hold, just takes enough strength to turn the tide.

Joey Styles: Jericho's got his entire weight on Gabriel and that's not good for the back.

The referee kneels down asking Gabriel if he wants to give up, he continues screaming in pain but insisting he doesn't want to give up. Chris keeps bending Gabriel back yelling at the referee to "Ask him!!" which the referee continues to do so but Gabriel keeps shouting "No!" pressure keeps being applied more and more, Gabriel hovers his hand over the mat, he seems to be contemplating tapping, Jericho then yells "ASK HIM!!" "ASK HIM!!" to which the official does once more, Justin doesn't respond, the referee asks him again but still no response. Just as the referee is about to once again try to get a response, Gabriel presses his hands firmly on the mat and with all his might tries to pull himself over to the ropes. Jericho's lock on Gabriel loosens as Justin continues to struggle towards the ropes. Just when it looks like he's finally going to grab them, Jericho starts to pull him away only for Gabriel to fight even harder giving himself one last good push and succeeding in getting his left hand on the bottom rope!

Ted DiBiase: Man the suspense in this match is great! I'm definitely picking up a few things to take with me to the triple threat at The Monster Bash.

Michael Cole: It really is a close match, closer than some of us might not have thought.

Joey Styles: So Ted, do you think watching these two could perhaps put you at an advantage in two weeks?

Ted DiBiase: If only! But nah, it's giving me some insight about some mistakes they both make, but anyone could learn that from just watching closely anyways.

The referee orders Jericho to break his hold, he refuses and continues to apply pressure causing the referee begin to warn him of a disqualification and begins counting

Just as he's about to say five, Jericho releases his hold and backs off.


Jericho backs into the corner, looks over at Ted, and yells "Enjoying the show?!" to which Ted responds by looking at him with a goofy smile on his face and doing a thumbs up motion. Chris just shakes his head in disgust then begins stalking Gabriel, waiting for him to get up. Slowly he pulls himself up using the ropes, Jericho holds his arms out signaling for the code breaker, Gabriel finally gets up, his back is to Jericho, who begins to run off the ropes, Justin turns around, Chris comes charging at him jumps off the mat for what looks to be code breaker, but somehow Gabriel manages to catch him in mid air trapping his leg under his and countering with a huge STO!

Ted DiBiase: Whoa! Now that was what you call out of no where!

Michael Cole: I don't think I've ever seen anything like that!

Joey Styles: Oh my god! What a counter.

Gabriel collapses onto the seemingly out of Jericho and the referee makes sure both shoulders are on the mat before counting.

But Jericho extends his arm in front of him grabbing onto the rope!

Gabriel gets up, confused at the referee's decision, he shows him Jericho's hand on the rope, to which Gabriel responds by stomping on it, then dragging Jericho to the middle of the ring and covering him again.

But this time Jericho kicks out!

Justin again gets up a pissed off man, he pulls Jericho off the mat, grabs him by his arm whipping him into the corner, then charges at him, only for Jericho to use the corner to his advantage raising himself up sending his boot right into Gabriel's jaw. He groggily backs up turning around, giving Jericho the perfect chance to run off the ropes, grab Gabriel's head from behind sending him down to the mat with a one handed bulldog. Justin rolls over on his back, setting him in perfect position as Chris runs onto the ropes, springboard off and lands the lionsault perfectly. He then covers hooking the leg

But Justin gets his shoulder off of the mat.


Joey Styles: Forgive the silence folks, it's just we're all three drawn into this match, at least I am.

Ted DiBiase: I'm with ya, Joey. This match is as close as it gets and really words cannot do it justice. I knew these two have had great matches in the past, but watching it up close like this really does give me a whole different respect for the two. I've got no doubt in my mind that our match will steal the show at The Monster Bash now.

Michael Cole: It very well could, but you just never know. Jericho is in a good position in this match, he's got victory in his sights, it'll just take the right move at the right time and he'll come out victorious.

Joey Styles: Both men have put themselves through hell here tonight, but there's only so much they can take before one of them slips up.

Chris pulls Gabriel off the mat by his hair, but Gabriel elbows him in the side of his jaw, to which Jericho responds with an instant gut kick then grabs hold of him from behind and performs a back drop suplex. He begins to stomp on Gabriel's chest repeatedly but slips up when Gabriel rolls out of the way and Chris accidentally stomps the mat causing him to slightly tweak his knee. That gives Gabriel the chance he needs, he nails him with a hard reverse round house kick, then stumbles over to the top rope propping himself up onto it slowly while Jericho tries to regain his composure. Gabriel stands on the second rope telling Jericho to get up, which he eventually does, but then charges right at Gabriel with a drop kick to his chest causing him to lean back onto the corner ropes temporarily out of it once more. Jericho then looks at his positioning, runs onto the ropes springboard off, and grabs hold of Gabriel starting to connect with a springboard code breaker, but Gabriel pushes him off just as impact is about to be made, then quickly falls on top of him pinning his shoulders to the mat in a unique way. The referee turns his attention to Jericho's shoulders and begins counting, all while Gabriel sneakily places his feet onto the second rope for leverage

Ted DiBiase: Ref...

Joey Styles: That was a hard fall...I don't think the referee sees what Gabriel just did though.

Ted DiBiase: This can't seriously be it...You can't end a good match like that, come on Jericho!


3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michael Cole: Justin Gabriel has done it! He's defeated Chris Jericho!


Ted DiBiase: He hasn't done anything to be proud of...

Michael Cole: He's done something you haven't ever done, pin Chris Jericho, so stop acting like it's not a great victory.

Joey Styles: I think he's talking about the way in which it happened. To be honest I don't think that decision should stick, Gabriel blatantly used the ropes to his advantage, which is against the rules.

Ted DiBiase: I completely agree, which is why I'm going to go have a little chat with that referee. Thanks for the fun guys but there's no way in hell I'm letting that slide.

*Ted pulls off his headset off then gets out of his chair as Gabriel's theme sounds from the P.A system. He quickly scurries out of the ring as Jericho sits up with a complete look of disbelief. Ted quickly runs up the steps and enters the ring by passing the sitting in the corner Jericho and walks over to the referee. He begins to try and tell him what he saw, he points to Jericho and then at the ropes, then back at Gabriel and to the ropes.*



*But the referee insists he didn't see it which causes Ted to continue to try and get him to reverse this decision. He tries to get him to just listen but he won't, he says he counted the three and didn't see the ropes so the decision sticks causing Ted to just stand in disappointment.*



*While Gabriel stands on the outside midways up the ramp with a cocky smirk on his face, Ted comes to the realization that nothing he says will convince this referee of the truth so he sighs then turns his head and looks at the still seated on the mat Chris Jericho.*

Michael Cole: Ted seems rather upset and it's not even his match!

Joey Styles: That's just the kind of guy he is though, he saw an injustice and he just wants to do the right thing, shame the official isn't listening to reason.

*DiBiase walks away from the referee, then steps closer to Jericho, who looks up at him still obviously disappointed and pissed off that Gabriel got away with a victory like that. Ted puts on a smile and holds his hand out to Jericho. He just looks at him in disbelief, he isn't sure of what to make from Ted's action, but after Ted's hand remains out for the next few seconds. Jericho finally grabs hold of his hand and gets helped up. *

Joey Styles: Well that was nice..

*But just as Jericho gets to his feet, Jericho pulls Ted forward by his now tightly gripped hand and nails the code breaker! DiBiase falls to the mat knocked out, while the entire arena roars with absolute hatred for his actions. The camera takes a quick look back at Gabriel who seems amused by the whole situation lightly laughing at what just happened. *

Michael Cole: Yes! Now that was entertainment, can Ted really expect to be World Heavyweight Champion while being as gullible as he is?!

Joey Styles: Ted was just trying to do the right thing, it was completely uncalled for.


*While the hatred flows in from the entire audience Jericho looks down at the still out cold Ted DiBiase with a smug look on his face, before turning his attention to the smirking Justin Gabriel and the two have quite the intense stardown*

Joey Styles: Well no doubt with just one more show until The Monster Bash, things are going to be get very heated next week. Ted's not going to be happy about what happened here, and I can't wait to find out what the backlash is from this main-event.

Michael Cole: It does show Ted's perhaps simply not on their level though, I mean this is twice in two weeks that Chris Jericho has laid him out, you'd think he'd have learned better by now but I suppose we'll find out what happens next week.

Joey Styles: Indeed we shall, but until then, have a great night folks and we'll see ya next week for Redemption!

*The camera show Justin and Jericho still staring down with intensity before the cameras fade out.*
