[Justin Roberts]
Ladies and gentlemen, it's now time for the main event! Introducing first, from Nashville Tenesse, weighing in at 225 lbs, Show Time, Eric, Young!

The bearded hero himself comes out onto stage, clapping his hands, smiling at the crowd who clap along with him. He begins to do the head bob to the music, before taking off down the ramp, ready for the match to come. Apparently in a better mood tonight than he has been, Eric high fives some fans on his way down the ramp before sliding into the ring. He throws up his index fingers, taunting to the crowd who cheers him.

[Michael Cole]
You guys voted and now you get it! Eric Young and John Cena one on one!

[Jerry Lawler]
This is gonna be a good one guys! Sit down and get ready because you're about to be glued to your seats!

[Jim Ross]
Couldn't of said it better myself King!

Young turns around, taunting to the other half of the crowd before his music is cut off, and he is left to warm up. He begins bouncing around, loosening up before pacing across the ring. He appears ready and determined for Cena tonight but, is the champion the same way?

[Justin Roberts]
And his opponent. From West Newbury Massachusetts, the world heavyweight champion, John, Cena!

John Cena walks out onto stage, the world title around his neck as he likes to place it. He turns to the camera smiling and saying something like, "It's all about this." before pointing at the best and saluting the camera. He takes off into a sprint, darting towards the ring and sliding in. He begins his laps across the ring, throwing his hat off as he finishes. He throws up his signature taunt as the cue in his song hits, then turns towards EY.

[Jim Ross]
It's not so long ago that these men stood for the same cause. That these two men both had the mentality of "Never Give Up".

[Michael Cole]
Now, Cena is a whole lot better. He worries about the one person that matters.

[Jerry Lawler]
Eric hasn't lost sight of who he is though!

The duo stand, across from each other for the first time in months. Eric clapping his hands, getting the crowd started up as Cena removes his t-shirt and title. He hands his title to the ref and throws the shirt from the ring, causing the bell to ring. The duo then circle each other, throwing up their hands for a fight but, Eric drops them, extending one hand to Cena in a sign of respect.

[Jerry Lawler]
Eric has always been a respectful person but to Cena right now, might not be a good idea. Cena wants a fight.

John however, proves him wrong, extending his own hand and shaking Eric's. The two back up, stancing again, then circle once more. The commentary begin to pick their movements as the two lock up. Cena, appearing to be the stronger of the two, throws Eric back. Eric rolls back, then ends up in a kneeling position, slowly getting back to his feet. Eric moves back in though, determined not to be held down. He locks back up with Cena, this time, throwing Cena back, but not as effectively. Cena falls back, landing against the ropes and comes back, connecting with a clothesline to Eric. Young hits the ground and Cena is on the attack, locking up the head.

[Jerry Lawler]
Eric can't try to out power John here. He has to use his speed.

[Jim Ross]
Though, you have to give him credit for trying.

[Michael Cole]
He was only trying because he's an idiot.

Eric begins to work up off the ground, bringing himself and Cena to his feet. He grabs the arm wrapped around his head, pulling it, and himself out of the hold and wrenching the arm behind Cena. With Eric now in control, Cena moves to the ropes, ducking under them, calling for the count. Eric throws up his hands, backing away from Cena as the ref asks for. Young backs up across the ring, bouncing around as Cena regains his bearing. When the duo lock up again, Eric ducks behind Cena, grabbing his from behind and rolling him up in a modified pin.

1

2
.
.
Kick out!

[Michael Cole]
That was a close call for the champion.

[Jim Ross]
What it would mean for Eric to get a pin here against the champ, is unexplainable.

Eric sticks his tongue out at John, causing John to cock an eyebrow, having almost lost to this man. Young waits for Cena, giving him a moment before the two lock up once more. This time, Cena powering Eric back and into the corner, starting the assault. He begins to beat Eric down in the corner, sending huge shots to the middle of Eric. John's brawling type fighting style coming out as Eric is having trouble defending these shots. The ref gets to a four count before John backs up, breaking the count. He goes to move back in as Eric lashes out with a kick, doubling Cena over. Eric then moves Cena into the corner, lashing out with a punch combo of his own, causing the ref to count again.

[Jerry Lawler]
A little bit of "one-ups-man-ship" being shown here.

Eric breaks the count at four, then gets back on the attack, kicking Cena in the gut and putting him in the seated position. Eric backs up across the ring, then takes off running. He jumps into Cena with a rolling senton. The two roll out of the corner, Cena hurt and Eric on fire as he covers Cena.

1
.
.
Kick out.

Cena not playing around here, with the two count. Eric appears not to be either as he locks up the head, dragging Cena to his feet. He begins to wrench on it until Cena grabs his abdomen, picking Eric up. Young however, flips back and lands on his feet, foiling the plans of the back body drop Cena had in mind. Cena is no fool, taking off to the ropes, and then comes darting back at Eric. Young leaps over him, then on the backswing, elbows John in the face, knocking him to the mat. Now, Eric's turn to run to the ropes, coming back and leaping over John who rolled over. On the backswing, John is on his feet and catches Eric with a drop toe hold, locking onto his foot.

[Michael Cole]
Cena seems to be looking for the STF here!

Cena can't seem to wrestle Eric into his submission move as Eric rolls onto his back. He pushes Cena away with his feet and jumps up. The duo begin trading blows. Cena gets the advantage, forcing Eric back against the ropes. He then sends Eric across the ring with an irish-whip. When Eric comes back, he jumps up and hits a shoulder block. John takes off now, looking for his sequence of moves he is known for. However, when he goes for the second shoulder block, Eric.... Eric cuts a split? Dropping down and ducking the shoulder. Young jumps back up, dropkicking John in the chest, backing him up against the ropes now. Eric takes off towards Cena, appearing to want to clothesline him over the top rope. Cena drops his shoulder though, sending Eric over the top. Young hold on, landing on the apron.

Cena sends a huge shot at Eric, staggering him. Eric sends a shot back, staggering Cena. The two begin to duke it out in blows, Eric on the apron and Cena in the ring before Eric grabs John head and drops off the apron. Cena falls back onto the mat as Eric jumps up, climbing up onto the apron and then onto the turnbuckle. John is laid out close enough for Eric to his it as Eric pats his elbow, signalling the elbow drop. Young jumps off, and John moves, causing Eric to crash to the mat. When Eric is back on his feet, John hits him with the shoulder block again. This time, moving through the sequence with no issues. Another shoulder block, then prepping for the spin out powerbomb move.

He hits it with ease, planting Eric on the mat and throwing up the hand, signalling the five knuckle shuffle. He tells Eric that he can't see Cena, before taking off towards the ropes. Cena comes back and dusts off his shoulder, dropping the fist on the face of Young. Eric begins to crawl to his feet as Cena crouches down, placing his hands on his knees and awaiting to end this match. When Eric spins around, Cena grabs the arm of Eric, lifting him up onto his shoulders. Once there, Eric squirms, then spins off, planting Cena with the DDT. He sits up, both of which are hurt by now, then looks around. The crowd is chanting "EY, EY, EY" as Eric gets the idea to try his signature again. He climbs to his feet and takes off for the turnbuckle, climbing it and patting the elbow. He jumps off, landing on Cena with the elbow drop. He jumps up again, spinning around and freaking out, super pleased with how that went.

[Jim Ross]
Eric is on fire ladies and gentlemen!

Eric then mimics Cena from earlier, placing his hands on his knees, and awaiting Cena to get up. After a moment or two, Cena does, staggering around till he faces Eric. Eric lifts Cena up onto his own shoulders, spinning to the crowd, sticking out his tongue. Cena slips off behind Eric when he does, snatching Eric's leg off the ground and locking it up into the STF. Eric's eyes go wide, realizing he is just inches away from the ropes.

[Michael Cole]
Eric is in a do or die situation right here!

Eric then, with all his might, crawls to the ropes and grabs onto the bottom one, making the ref call for the count. Cena breaks his submission at four, falling back. He sits up, knowing what he has to do to end this. He picks Eric up off the ground, expecting him to be done for. But Eric, surprising everyone including Cena, drops the shoulder, lifting Cena up onto them and then plants him with the EY Driver. Both Cena and Eric are laid out, neither able to cover the other.

[Jim Ross]
No! No damn it! This was such a great match!

AJ Styles comes walking out onto the stage, a solemn look across his face and a steel chair in his hand. He begins to walk down the ramp, a man on a mission. He ignores the booing fans and slides into the ring, finding his new found foe, Eric Young, crawling to his feet. AJ looks over him for a moment, then holds up the chair. Young sees AJ, and suddenly, the fire is lit, causing Eric to get to his feet. As he does, AJ smashing him over the head with the steel chair.

The bell rings, the match coming to a screeching halt. However, this doesn't stop AJ from slamming the chair onto the stomach and chest of EY multiple times. The time keeper continues ringing the bell to no use as AJ throws the chair from the ring, at him. The ref tries to intervene in the assault only to have AJ kick him in the gut and throw him from the ring. Now, only the champ and two of the challengers remain.

[Michael Cole]
Well for the first time in months, Cena has lost and by way of DQ thanks to AJ Styles!

[Jerry Lawler]
I'm happy Eric won but I didn't want it to happen like this! That was such a great match!

[Jim Ross]
Only to be ruined by someone who is obsessed with ruining Eric's career.

AJ begins to pound on Eric with his fists, mounting Eric and putting on quite the beating while Cena pulls himself up in the opposing corner. After a few seconds, it kicks in that he just suffered a loss thanks to AJ. John takes off across the ring in a huff, dragging AJ off of Eric. Styles jumps to his feet, nose to nose with Cena, exchanging words. It's obvious that it's arguing taking place as AJ shoves Cena. John hesitates for only a moment before unloading with a huge right hand. Then, the fight takes off. The duo begin exchanging blows in the middle of the ring.

[Jim Ross]
The champ and one of his many challengers going at it!

AJ begins to overpower Cena, due to Cena having just gone through a match. Styles begins to back him up to the ropes, allowing him to lean back against them. AJ turns around, looking to take off for the opposite side of the ring. He is instead met by Eric Young, who is barely back on his feet. He catches AJ by the gut and flips backwards, hitting the northern lights suplex. As soon as Eric releases AJ, Cena is on the attack. John pissed that his win was taken and pissed that it was taken by DQ. Cena begins to pound on Eric, who can barely stand after the chair shots but however, Young pushes on, trying to fight with Cena. John unloads with a quick combo, giving Young the "You can't see me!" taunt before unloading with a right fist to the face.

[Michael Cole]
This might be the end for Eric in this fight!

The crowd can be heard cheering as Eric bounces back against the ropes. John turns around to the lit up crowd, knowing that it isn't for him and comes face to face with Shawn Michaels. The Heart Break Kid sends his signature move, the Sweet Chin Music, right at Cena. John ducks it, last second and the kick connects with the jaw of Eric, who bounced off the ropes. Young falls back out of the ring as Shawn turns to Cena, a tad upset that his kick missed it's target. Cena however, is too witty, hoisting Shawn up onto his shoulders and planting him with the AA. Cena turns around, coming face to face with AJ Styles once again. The two stance up, unsure of whether to fight or not as the theme of the GM begins to play.

The billionaire princess comes out onto stage, mic in hand with a rather serious face. She wastes no time, stopping anything before it can happen.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Now everyone just calm down! This main event has turned into a complete train wreck and I should of seen this coming putting Eric Young anywhere near it. But, something good actually came out of this.

McMahon smiles at the members of the ring. Eric not to be seen while Shawn is sat up against the apron on the ramp's side. The other two standing in the ring, awaiting what is to come next.

[Stephanie McMahon]
You men just booked my main event next week. Considering what happened here tonight, and how AJ Styles made it his business to ruin my main event here tonight, he gets to go one on one with the man who he screwed out of a win here tonight: John Cena!

The crowd begins to cheer for the announcement, knowing how good it will be before it even takes place.

[Stephanie McMahon]
But, that's not all. Considering how Shawn kicked Eric in the face here tonight, I'm sure they have some issues that need to be worked out as well. So, why don't we let them work it out? Next week, Shawn Michaels will go one on one with Eric Young!

The crowd grows louder, that being another huge match announced for next week.

[Jerry Lawler]
What a huge week we have next week! I can't wait!

[Stephanie McMahon]
Now play nice gentlemen.

With that, McMahon turns away, her theme playing as she makes her leave. Cena and AJ turn to each other, having a stand off while the camera pans to the announcer's table side of the ring where Eric sits, holding his chin. The image fades out with the huge announcements and the image of all four competitors either in the ring or at ringside.

Reviews
Shawn Michaels
Not buying that Dean is too scared to show up, but I guess we're not supposed to take anything Alex Riley says seriously. This was one of those promos that steadily picked up steam and got better as it went along with the middle sections being really good showing the kind of fighter that HBK is, until coming to a smooth end as he claims that he still has something to prove despite doing everything there is to in the business.

Jericho
Your stuff is really a shining example of doing more with less and I've begun taking a page or two from your book of excellence where I feel like I've become a better man just by reading this promo and I thank you for giving me the chance to read this work of art. That said, this is missing the something that made last week's Jericho promo so amazing to read, but this was still great and despite the crowd booing in the intro, Jericho is slowly starting to come across as a face with the way he was so humbled after that beating he took.

EY
So happy you pulled it of as EY's lighthearted approach to his promos is such a breath of fresh air with all the seriousness that goes on in XWL. The chemistry between the two is fun to watch play out and I found myself singing along...in my mind. Nice stuff here.

Triple H
A lot better than your Brock promo last week, but I felt this could have done without all those "game" puns. This was a decent start as you get more comfortable with the character over the weeks and hopefully your following promos sound a little more like Triple H.

Diva drama
Thoroughly enjoyed this, though I felt Bayley was underrepresented. The heels played off each other well and was entertained by the way they took shots at each other.

Drew
Have the same issue with this that I had with the Triple H promo in that it didn't really feel as though you had the character down here.  Effort was appreciated though and you managed to have Drew convey his messages that he beat Bray for a reason and can beat Roode, Anderson and Reigns as well despite not being too happy about representing mercuh.

Cena
A little too short for me, but I'm taking a liking to the way you're playing Cena with him not really being a full fledged heel but still having certain characteristics that make him detestable.

Heyman
Seeing how absolutely phenomenal you can be as Heyman makes me long for Don West to give you a run for your money, though I'd most likely be outclassed because you hit it out of the part with nearly every promo at times capturing Heyman almost perfectly. i luv u

Drew/BC
Overall solid promo and it's really nice to see some build going on for the United States championship on your guys' end and can't wait to see where you takes things from here. Liked how Anderson was mocking Drew in his own way while Devitt just came across as a badass. Styles kind of felt like the third wheel but more than certainly held his own quality-wise and this was agood way to continue establishing Bullet Club as a threat.

I'll be taking over things from here, and how long this goes for is entirely defendant on league participation. Deadline for you guys to PM this to me is 11:59 EST/Saturday or 5AM Sunday UK time. As for the question:

There's still an unclaimed spot in the Elimination Chamber match for both the World Heavyweight and Diva's Championship. Why should you be the one to take that spot?
