Tomko/Sheamus
The opening Tomko bits before the the quote felt a little bit generic and didn't really have much personality driving it. The yelllow or whatever color that was used for the descriptions inside the quote was impossible to read, but that seems to be a reoccuring them with them. Everything else after that was pretty standard fare and while it would be a fine segment on its own, my expectations are a litte higher considering this feud revolved around what's supposed to be the top belt in the company after the Diva's title. Having the two men seemingly get along is an interesting stance to take but it was a successful one as now I really want to see if they're really going to share a drink without any further alterations arising.

Banks
So we've come to my fear about doing weekly reviews: sounding like a broken record. But this week it's not about telling everyone their stuff was good, but questioning why they're trying so hard to hurt me eyes. The green was bright, but all right, but that gotdamn font, man. Again, could be just me and Gaz is hogging the glasses so I'll just go ahead and deal with it. You also spelled Renee wrong. Other than that it was a solid promo. You kept it short and sweet but you managed to cover all of your bases. Sasha had the sass and I like that she hyped up her partner making it seem like it almost fair that two divas of that caliber are on the same team. Hoping you keep it up and make her the star I never could.

As Breakdown rolls on, cameras cut backstage to see Alex Riley standing by with the former World Champion...The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels!

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 FHPxLHz
[Alex Riley]
Thanks for joining me, Shawn. I've been asked to get your thoughts on the huge announcement made last week and that at Eye for an Eye the man that defeated you for the World Championship John Cena, will defend his World Title inside an Elimination Chamber. You was announced as one of the 6 competitors inside the Elimination Chamber, What are your thoughts on going into such a brutal match?

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 RIqZriF
[Shawn Michaels]
Well, I'm no stranger to Elimination Chambers. Infact, I won the first Elimination Chamber in the history of this business, and I've been involved in my fair share since. Now at Eye for an Eye,I have to compete against 5 other men inside that Elimination Chamber who all share that one goal of the World Heavyweight Championship. The Shield took away my chance at the World Championship not once, but twice. This time, there is no way in for the Shield, there is no way out for Dean Ambrose.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 YQKV9Ok
[Alex Riley]
Speaking of Dean Ambrose, he hasn't been seen in weeks here in XWL. Not many people seem to know the where abouts of Dean but I heard earlier today that he's staying away for his safety, He's claimed to not feel safe in the same arena as you so has refused to show up until Eye for an Eye....What are your thoughts on this?

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 MZcwWJZ
[Shawn Michaels]
Dean Ambrose is just proving he is exactly what I've thought all along...He's showing he's a coward. Dean has made his career of making claims to be the best, making claims to be this loose cannon but Dean never backs them up. He didn't back them up at International Incident, and now he's hiding away because he's afraid, He knows he bit off more than he could chew...he knows he tried to hunt what he can't kill and if Dean does show up at Eye for an Eye..He's going to have nowhere to run, he's going to be locked inside that Elimination Chamber with me...if I have to wait until Eye for an Eye then so be it. Because when I finally get my hands on Dean...He's going to regret ever putting his hands on me.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 GBTNmSR
[Shawn Michaels]
Dean knows that whenever he shows up...I'll be here waiting for him. The moment he steps foot in an XWL Arena, He's going to have to watch his back, It doesn't matter if he has the rest of The Shield by his side or not...I will get my hands on Dean Ambrose, one way or another. But tonight, isn't about Dean Ambrose...Tonight was in the hands of the XWL Universe, They didn't vote me to be in the Main Event but that's fine by 'ol HBK. Because Tonight, I get a chance to prove myself against of the up and coming stars here in XWL, I get to face AJ Styles.... A mini preview of what could happen inside the Elimination Chamber.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 7AB2Tqe
[Shawn Michaels]
Tonight is a great chance for me to prove that I'm still at the top of this business, I've proved it time and time again and every time...I come up against a new challenge. I've been up against it my entire career...And every time I come out fighting and I strive on a new challenge, tonight AJ Styles is that new challenge and just like I always do The Heartbreak Kid is going to overcome that challenge. People still doubt me despite everything I've accomplished over the past year and that's fine...because I'm at my best when proving people wrong.

HBK lets out a smile as he pats Alex Riley on the shoulder, before walking off scene as Breakdown goes to the next segment.

Breakdown returns from a commercial break to the sight of Chris Jericho standing by backstage.  The fans can be heard off in the distance inside the live arena booing him as Jericho appears to be deep in thought and clearly the events which occurred on last week's episode are on his mind.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 JNkzoIb

The camera pans outward to reveal the always cheerful Renee Young.  Her mere presence lightens the mood and the aura of this segment with a sombre-looking Jericho still going over something in his mind, until he snaps out of it when the sound of Renee's voice brings him back to the here and now.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 0oxZ11G

[Renee Young]
Chris Jericho, last week on Breakdown you took on the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena in a match that received rave reviews across the board... that is until Paul Heyman provided Cena with the distraction that led to his victory.  While the match itself was great, it's what transpired after between yourself and Cesaro which has been the main talking point ever since... it was arguably one of the most brutal beat-downs in recent memory.  Your thoughts?

Jericho thinks long and hard before responding in a cold, emotionless tone...

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 LOfgbgP

[Chris Jericho]
Renee... for 2 straight weeks now you've asked me for my thoughts.  But the truth is that tonight, what you, and everybody else really wants to know, is that after the ass-kicking I received last week is that if this is the day Chris Jericho finally gives in to the pressure, the torment and the envy of others that comes with being the best in the world.  Is today the day that Chris Jericho finally allows some young, rising star, or some technical maverick take his spot... or at long last hands over the torch and rides off into the sunset with one last hurrah?  But today is not that day.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 GgSVsV5

[Chris Jericho]
Despite what happened last week on Breakdown... the way Paul Heyman distracted me during my match with Cena like the devious mastermind he is, while his lackey Cesaro carried out his evil bidding and beat the hell out of me in a way that hasn't been done for longer than I can remember... I still have some fight left in me.  I still have the fire and the desire within me to carry on and I still believe with every breath that I take that I am the very best.  Distractions and sneak attacks can't change that.  Beatings and setbacks come with the territory and when all the dust has settled... when it's all said and done, you cannot change the fact or the constant which is that I am the best in the world at what I do.  I have proven that fact week after week, night after night, and every single time I step inside that ring or speak on this microphone.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 3Kk4hyx

[Chris Jericho]
Seven days ago I was a broken man.  I was left unconscious relying on the aid of local medical personnel to get me through the night.  They said I shouldn't come back... that I'd taken too many shots to the head... that any physical contact from here on would be detrimental to my health...  But here I stand one week later on my own two feet, ready to compete and showcase my ability to the world later on tonight.  Because that's what I always do.  I adapt and I persevere.  That is why I am as good as I say I am and that is why Cesaro and Heyman and anybody else who tries to stop me or put an end to me will fail.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 BrTHlpE

[Chris Jericho]
I'll admit to you right now Renee, that I thought Cesaro had learnt his lesson at International Incident.  I thought that even that tiny peanut brain inside that bald head of his would finally realize that he is no match for me, after the way I dominated him when he failed to back up all the falsities and lies spread about him by his puppetmaster.  But I was wrong.  Cesaro's mind has been completely poisoned by Paul Heyman, and even with such a debilitating loss to me, he still believes he has what it takes to go with the best of them and it seems that I am to be the example to be made to support that.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 37xZxdn

[Chris Jericho]
So let this be a challenge.  Cesaro... if you want to make a statement at my expense... by ending my career like you tried to last week... I'm going to give you one last opportunity to finish the job.  At Eye For An Eye... no distractions... no attacks from behind... no mindgames... just you and I, one-on-one inside a steel cage where there'll be no excuses...

Jericho is as intense as ever as some cheers can be heard off in the distance in response to the potential match-up.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Cphcprh

[Chris Jericho]
I know you'll accept because you have a point to prove, but trust me Cesaro, if you do... you will never... ever... be the same... again...

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 C2ey5V6

Jericho's final words are filled with intent and belief as the camera zooms in on him before the screen fades away to the next segment of this fantastic episode of Breakdown...

Awesome work by both of you two as usual, I'll be honest though Gaz, I spent a few minutes trying to figure out why Alex Riley looked so weird in the first cap, until I noticed it actually was Shawn Michaels and Riley was stood next to him.

A video package highlighting the brutal Elimination Chamber finishes and standing by backstage, awaiting the cue to conduct yet another interview, is none other than Renee Young. She's got a cheery smile on her face, but don't let that smile fool you, she asks the tough questions and gets to the bottom of whatever might be topical in XWL.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 YywxFRH

[Renee Young]
Ladies and Gentlemen, please help give a warm welcome to my guest at this time, The Mr. Money in The Bank, CM Punk!

She turns slightly to better address him as he walks onto the set, arms crossed, frown on his face, and a lot no doubt to get off his mind. For over three months now he's had a thorn in his side named Fandango, and International Incident was supposed to be the end, but the match never got started and Punk was left laid out on the stage as Fandango and Layla reunited with a "victory" smooch. This rivalry has grown more and more personal as the time passes, which makes us wonder when and how will it end?

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 IVAE6mN

[Renee Young]
Punk, thank you for joining me I know you've had a lot going on recently what with your ongoing rivalry with Fandango and to an extent, Layla...while also trying to keep an eye on The World Heavyweight Championship seeing as you hold an opportunity to face off against The World Champion whenever you want. But obviously you can't put your full attention on John Cena until things are settled with Fandango and yourself.

Punk looks angry, you could sort of say that  a lot more often than you could say he's happy...but he's been disrespected by Fandango since the night he returned and that annoyance has only festered and turned into much more than just a battle of beating respect into a brash superstar. Punk's dealt with people like that before, easily so...while Fandango seems to be a leech latched onto him that he can't shake no matter what he does.

[Renee Young]
International Incident was supposed be for all intensive purposes, the end of this rivalry. But instead Fandango attacked you as you made your entrance, and you two fought all over the place. You seemed to be getting an edge over him at the end, setting up for The Go To Sleep, but then Layla appears out of nowhere and the rest I'm sure is foggy to you due to the way your skull connected against the steel. You weren't going to let him get away with that though, as we saw last week. So let's take a look back at that shall we?

Punk and Renee both turn their heads and begin to watch a replay that begins to play almost immediately. For us the viewers, we cut to a full screen replay which shows Fandango and Layla along with Byron Saxton who was conducting an interview with the two. Byron went to ask Fandango a question when all of a sudden CM Punk hit the scene, floored Fandango in an instance, stomping on him, clubbing away with elbows, throwing him into the curtain backdrop causing it all to collapse. He even wrapped the clothed setting around Fandango's throat and began to choke him. He was a man possessed, bent on getting payback for Fandango, and set on making him regret not letting this thing between the two of them die when it was supposed to.

All Layla could do is scream for help, in the most annoying way possible mind you...as her boyfriend was mercilessly beaten. Punk didn't let Fandango off easy though, he didn't want to just choke him out and make him pass out, no he won't feel any punishment that way so instead he pulled the dancer to his feet then threw him into a few crates nearby. He bashes his face against the side of it, yelling at him, showing no signs of stopping unt-

"OH MY GOD! PUNK!"

Wait, that doesn't sound familiar...pitched screaming from Renee Young overtakes the audio of the recap and soon the footage is abruptly stopped as we return to find CM Punk lying over the smashed monitor with Fandango towering over him! Renee screams for help, but help isn't on the way just yet, and Fandango isn't done. We're not sure what the hell happened but apparently as the two were watching the replay, Fandango came out of nowhere and threw Punk into it. We don't know if Punk's skull shattered it or it being caught in the line of fire and falling over did, but either way Punk is not in a good shape right now. The Lord of Dance pulls Punk up to his feet then pulling at his hair he screams a lot of mumbo jumbo at him, before throwing him into one of the steel walls that made up the interview set up. The other "walls" come crashing down but still somehow aware enough Punk rolls out of the way to avoid certain doom.

But while he may have escaped a very painful end, Fandango's right back there clubbing away at Punk, ripping off his hoody and returning the favor from last week by choking him with it. We're seeing a very vicious side of Fandango, proving that anyone if provoked enough can snap at any time. "Follow my lead!" Fandango yells as he drags Punk off his feet, jacket still tightly wrapped around his throat then flings him off camera as echos of screams from crew members follow. The cameraman turns to the action showing Fandango knelt down at the fallen Punk nuzzled against his ear, confusing us beyond belief...whispering to him which again is pretty odd...but then he pulls away from Punk's earlobe and slams his face against the concrete floor.

What does Fandango have planned next? Renee's fled the scene in search of help, but nothing can save Punk right now not even himself. He's dazed, he's hurt, Fandango ambushed him as he was watching the replay never once expecting that the same would happen to him in that exact moment. Fandango starts to stand back up, resting Punk's chin on his shoulder as he lifts him to a standing yet slumped position. Turns his head to see a table behind them with snacks and all sorts of treats including a leftover cake from what looked like a Birthday cake for one of the crew members...which would explain why they were all gathered around that vicinity and that kind of makes this worse doesn't it. Not only did Fandango interrupt CM Punk's interview he ruined this poor person's Birthday. And to think he was so upset after Punk barged in on Layla's Birthday several months ago, hypocrite much?

Dragging Punk's lifeless corpse closer to the table, the apparent  chosen location of this "finale" he readies to plant Punk into the table, but as he swings to do so, life comes into Punk and he starts firing away with a barrage of elbows. He hits a stiff one right across the face of the dashing dancer, then tries to grab whatever he can get his hands on to unleash some hell into Fandango, but staggering backwards he's nowhere near aware of his surroundings and that allows Fandango to kick his leg up like a can-can girl and Punk starts falling forward, proving that was the all it took to knock Punk out in his current state. But as Punk begins to keel over, he falls once more into arms of Fandango who holds him as if the two of them were about to dance. However instead of dancing, which Punk would still be opposed to...Fandango lets out a roar of sorts sending himself and Punk crashing backwards into, and through the table!

Help finally arrives, but they're too late...Punk's flat on his stomach, lying in all sorts of food, his face partially resting on the cake, and Fandango winces as he holds his back, dealing some damage to himself, but obviously feeling as if it was worth it. He starts to pull himself back to his feet, but not before swiping his finger across the cake, and licking the icing off his index finger with a really creepy look on his face. Worried for Punk's condition the doctor and a few security guards instruct Fandango to back off, and he does. He starts to laugh slightly maniacally then leans in closer to one of them begins to whisper yet loud enough that we're able to catch it.

[Fandango]
Revenge...is a dish, best served...on him.

The lucky man that Fandango spoke to backs way, not wanting to deal with him and rushes to help the others aid Punk. Fandango then frolics away as he dances to his own tune, the tune of...revenge. Questions immediately arise, such as will Punk be able to compete later on against Daniel Bryan? Will Fandango get a visit from Punk after his match with Adam Cole? Would he even be in any shape to have some kind of payback tonight? As always, right now we don't know...but Punk's a tough man, so if he's in better shape than he looks right now, than Fandango better be on his guard because he's opened up a can of worms and whether it's tonight or not...CM Punk will NOT let him get away with this.

Cheers permeate through the wall when Breakdown returns and Adam Cole is shown making his way through the hallways, a determined look on his face as he navigates these maze-like corridors backstage. He finally stops at a door with a “Dolph Ziggler” nameplate attached to it and instantly we know what he’s here for. After all, it was just last week when Stephanie McMahon made the earth-shattering announcement that she would be locking The Wyatts inside of the Elimination Chamber with Adam Cole so that their drama would end once and for all and stop spilling over into the programming.

If Cole doesn’t find a partner that match would very well be 3 on 1, prompting nightmares of Digital Decision if Cole  doesn’t find partners willing – and a little crazy enough – to step inside of that chamber with him, then he’ll be out of luck. Cole saved Ziggler from a beatdown courtesy of Bray’s brainwashed followers, but Cole must realize that asking this of Ziggler goes beyond the call of duty of repaying a favor and The Show Off is in no way obligated to accept the offer.

It wouldn’t hurt to ask, though.

Cole raises his fist to knock on the metal door, but before he can a man steps into the frame catching Cole completely by surprise.

Adam Cole
Oh hey Alex. what can I do for you man because I am kind of in the middle of something...

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Shelltod5

-Alex Shelley-
Hey man, I was just in the neighborhood and I couldn’t help but notice that you, my friend, were about to make one of the biggest mistakes of your career and trust me: I know all about your drama with The Wyatt Family. But Dolph Ziggler? I’ve had my run-ins with him over the yeas and I can say based on personal experience and various statistics gathered by the world’s top scientists that he’s bad news – a man who can’t be trusted to be reliable and funnily enough, reliability and trustworthiness are two of the most important attributes you need when looking for someone to partner up with. Dolph only cares about two things, scratch that, make it three things. There’s pretending to be better than me, which he fails miserably at, by the way  and then he also has a thing for his hair and women and you are neither, which means that he doesn’t give a damn about you.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 NXyVTnT

Adam Cole
Yeah I guess my problems with the Wyatt ain't exactly secret. The thing is Alex, I need some help because I don't know what I have done to be thrown in this situation with the Wyatts at Eye for an Eye. All I did was defend myself from attacks week in and week out. I have been for a minute and I am already getting a lot of crap when all I want to do is make it to the big time. I want to have great matches like the one we had when I first stepped in XWL. As for Ziggler, I know he is a one cocky son of a bitch but I thought the lucky escape he had with the Wyatts last week that he might want to join me in facing them inside the chamber. Obviously I was just about to ask the guy about it but you stoppped me so who are you to give me advice about this?

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Shelltod10

-Alex Shelley-
Me? Well I’m Alex Shelley, tag team extraordinaire – that used to be on my business card. And I know, I know, I said at loud and clear at International Incident that I was leaving the tag teaming behind but this is an opportunity too good to pass up! Besides, people change their minds all the time, just look at The Shield.  Yesterday they hate each other, today they’re best friends, then next thing you know, tomorrow Roman Reigns isn’t invited to the slumber party because he gets too aggressive during pillow fights and everything goes straight down the crapper and probably ends up the same place The Miz’ career did.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Shelltod11

-Alex Shelley-
I know this seems too good to be true—someone actually putting themselves at risk when others would rather take the night off? I wouldn’t blame you for thinking I’m pulling your leg. But you want my advice? Take help where you can get it. Accepting that sometimes you need someone to watch your back is how great things like The Motorcity Machine Guns are born. I’m not promising that we’ll become a legendary team, but legends will be told for years to come about the things we do inside of that chamber. Of course I have my own reasons. I was in the last elimination chamber match that featured tag teams and that didn’t go so well for me. This is my opportunity to make up for that and all you have to do is let me join Team Cole.

Adam Cole
Well you know what, I was thinking last week I was going to have no hope in hell in persuading anyone to join entering the chamber, especially when it is against The Wyatts. So if you really want to be part of Team Cole as you coined it, then well be my guest and welcome aboard because I need as much as help as I can.

Shelley holds out his hand and Cole looks down on it, deep in thought as he starts weighing his options in his head. Shelley is what he says he is: a tag-team extraordinaire and he’d be a substantial addition to the team. The Wyatts are a dangerous foe, and any help would be a step in the right direction in terms of staying alive at Eye for an Eye. They say beggars can’t be choosers and right now Cole isn’t in any position to be picky.

With a smile, Cole grasps Shelley’s hand the two wrestlers shake hands– a gentleman’s agreement that will see these two join forces to test their luck against the monstrous obstacle that will stand in their way at Eye for an Eye. Cole walks away leaving Shelley standing by the door where he stands for several seconds in deep thought.

Alex Shelley
Aw, what the heck; let’s see what my old friend is up to.

Shelley knocks on the door and almost instantaneously it swings open, but it’s Bo Dallas who walks out of the room! The normally cool, calm and collected Shelley even looks a little taken aback while in comparison, Bo has his patented huge smile on his face.

-Bo Dallas-
I had a feeling you would try to dig up the past when you should be planting seeds for the fut—

BAM!!!

Shelley staggers Bo with a hard right, then before his unsuspecting victim has a chance to mount a defense, Shelley superkicks him in the jaw with such force that it’s a wonder that Bo’s teeth didn’t fly out of his mouth before raining down to the ground. Bo crumbles to the floor, and Shelley grabs him by the arm and pulls him into Ziggler’s locker where he disappears inside for a few seconds. In a flash he’s back out and whistling casually as he calmly shuts the door behind him. Breakdown fades to the next segment while Shelley walks away to prepare with his upcoming clash with The Showoff.

Heading back to ringside following a commercial break, the catchy tune of Fandango's echos through the arena as we find out he's given the live audience an exclusive dance, boy how lucky are they? He's standing in the ring, striking his signature pose, and dropped into a split right in front of him is his lay-day, Layla.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 TjdqBDy

She may have had things not go her way earlier when she faced Nikki, but Fandango was there supporting her, so it's only natural that she'd brush the defeat away and be there for her man. A few seconds later he extends his hand to Layla, helping her up off the mat and then twirls her into his arms. The two gaze lovingly at each other, Fandango brushing her hair back behind her ear and smiling. She has served him well when she's been ringside before, why just last week she lead the referee to believe that Goldust struck her off the apron so that Fandango could get the win, by disqualification of course...but a win is  win in his book it seems. The lights return to normal and we see Adam Cole in the corner, mirroring the same sort of look many in the audience themselves have. He's not really sure what to make of Fandango, but he no doubt wants to leave this ring with a win to get some momentum heading into The Elimination Chamber Match with The Wyatt Family. Fandango slips his vest off then hands it off to Layla, directs an air kiss her way, then she leaves the ring meaning this match will be underway in just a second.

The peppy tune of Fandango's begins to play as the referee counts three, and Fandango has done it! Layla joyously screams out and jumps up and down, clapping erratically. For once she didn't get involved, she remained supportive the entire match without having an effect on it in any way. Fandango's actually beaten Adam Cole fairly, no tricks, no cheating, he was the better man tonight, and that begins to make us wonder if maybe there's more to this bizarre dancer than at first meets the eye?

[JR]
Fandango's done it, color me surprised because I actually had begun to wonder if he could actually win a match on his own.

[Michael Cole]
See, every week you two are like oh Fandango's all flash and no substance, well how's that for substance for you? He just defeated Adam Cole, one very skilled young man, proving that he's not only a threat in the ballroom, but in that ting as well.

[King]
I'll admit after last week's match with Goldust, I had my doubts...but you can't argue with a victory like that.

Happy as can be for her man's victory, Layla stands there with both hands clasped together and a bright smile on her face. Fandango pops to his feet, crossing his legs because how else does someone stand in victory? The referee earns his paycheck grabbing the wrist of the man that typically likes to make everyone around him uncomfortable, then raises his hand high in the air.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 YvtPGc3

Nothing could wipe that grin off Fandango's face right now, he stands victorious...commanding the attention from everyone in the building and not just because his pants are made up of every color in the rainbow. It sure would be a shame if someone interrupted this celebration, like a certain guy...that likes Pepsi...doesn't link to drink alcohol...may be called something like "The Best in The World...." but you're a fool if you think that's gonna happen, because as we saw backstage...Fandango got revenge on Punk for attacking him last week, and after the mauling CM Punk took...there's absolutely no way he can cut in right now and steal this moment from him. This has truly been Fandango's night, and he's the type of person that likes to boast. He likes to "peacock" as he'd say, and if you think he's just going to stand there and not shout his name out so nobody in this arena forgets it...then you don't know Fandango. Because before Lillian could have a shot at butchering his name, Layla snatches the mic away from her and begins to make her way into the ring to join her little skittle.

[King]
It's almost like there really is more than meets the eye to Fandango, he's not only taken out The Mr. Money in The Bank CM Punk backstage just a bit ago, he's won out here just now, never once looking to his lay-day for her assistance. Perhaps this guy might deserve more credit than we give him.

[JR]
It's going to take one night to change my opinion of him, but to have the guts to oppose someone like CM Punk for this long, that does show something special...but it's quite clear this saga between those two is not yet over, so if he wants to truly "lead" XWL then he'll have to put up or shut up very soon when they meet in that ring again.

[King]
But I think it's safe to say we won't be seeing Daniel Bryan go one on one with CM Punk because of that attack. From what I understand Punk's been in the trainer's room since the attack and so we wish him a speedy recovery.

[Michael Cole]
As far as I'm concerned he can stay away for a long time, Fandango's on the rise and everyone better watch out for the man that's as smooth in that ring as he is on his feet.

Layla struts her way to Fandango, planting a congratulatory kiss on his cheek, then instantly begins to fall into a split as she raises the mic in her hand. His music abruptly stops, just as a wide yet debonair smile forms on his face. He swipes the microphone into his possession and raises it up in spite of the boos that continue to pour in from the crowd. What does he have to say? No matter what it might be, this audience doesn't seem to care.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 0rgpDsU

[Fandango]
Faaaaaan!!

Of course, of course that's what he's going to say, his name...not some witty remark about winning, but his own name. Does it make sense? No, but one day we'll learn that maybe just maybe...there's a method to his madness. Or there isn't, which come to think of it is really the likely conclusion.

[Fandango]
Daaaaaaaan....

Pausing for dramatic effect, he strokes his hair back into a more tidy appearance, then swings his arm out, bending it back inwards and breathing quite deeply into the mic before uttering a sound, you know...aside from his horror movie inspired exhaling.

[Fandango]
Goooo...

Dropping the mic, Layla's pulled back to her feet and with statement made, the dancing couple begin to take their leave as his music chimes back in.

Have we seen the true rise of Fandango starting tonight? There's no way to tell, but with a statement making attack on CM Punk, and an even bigger statement making victory over Adam Cole, notably so without any underhanded tactics...it's been a good night for this self proclaimed "Lord of Dance" and nobody can take that away from him.

Breakdown returns with an image many of the viewers are familiar with. Eric Young and his good friend Matt Striker, standing side by side. Striker with a mic in his hands, preparing for an interview as Young looks off into the distance, as though motivated. Matt opens his mouth to speak and suddenly, Eric reaches over, covering the mic so Matt can not start. He carefully drags the mic away from may, bringing it to his own lips.

[Eric Young]
People, they say I've changed Matt. That, that I'm not who I used to be. "What happened?" they asked me, "to that old Eric that we use to know." What ever happened to the times you use to sing us a song, and make us smile. Now, you're out for blood, and, and, it isn't good. They miss the old us, Matt. The guys who use to lead them in inspirational songs. Maybe it's this whole world title mess. Maybe it's AJ Styles. Hell, maybe it's my loss to Alex last week.

Matt quickly speaks up, seeing his chance.

[Matt Striker]
How was that match, by the way?

[Eric Young]
Good segue Matt. That match, is something I will remember. It's not often I get to step into the ring with a long time friend, that still thinks of me as a friend. It was good to see Alex come back at International Incident and it was good to be able to give him one of his first matches back. Though, I did lose. I lost with dignity to someone who deserves it. But, back to my point.

Young steps forward, smiling at Matt.

[Eric Young]
Why don't we, sing a song?

The crowd can be heard cheering somewhere in the arena as Matt begins to grow flustered.

[Matt Striker]
A, a, what? Right now?

[Eric Young]
Well, yeah. That's why I made you bring that boom-box.

Eric points past Matt as the camera scrolls over to find a boom-box on the ground.

[Matt Striker]
I thought that was for some video montage!

[Eric Young]
Nope. It's for the tunes.

Young slips past Matt, fiddling with the jukebox.

[Matt Striker]
But we haven't even mentioned the main event or anything! You go one on one with the world champion tonight!

[Eric Young]
There is music to be played Matt.

[Matt Striker]
But what about the AJ Styles drama?

[Eric Young]
Matt, what did I say?

[Matt Striker]
But-

[Eric Young]
THERE IS MUSIC TO BE PLAYED!

Young rises back up, putting on a headband. He quickly tosses one to Matt before the lyrics start.

[Eric Young]
I'm first, put that on. Try to keep up, I know it's been a while.

With his tie-dye headband he steps up next to Matt, bouncing his head to the music.

[Eric Young]
Just a small town girl! Livin' in a lonely world! She took the midnight train going any, where!

In his own, raspy, off key voice, Eric nails the first line of the song and points to Matt.

[Matt Striker]
I don't think- Just a city boy. Born and raises in south Detroit! He took the midnight train going anywhere!

[Eric Young]
There you go Matt! Now you're feeling it! Don't stop believing! We can make it!

Suddenly, Eric drops to his knees, kicking off with the next verse of the song.

[Eric Young]
A singer in a smokey room, the smell of wine and cheap perfume! For a smile that can share the night it goes on and on and on and on,

Eric jumps back up, turning to Matt as the duet starts.

[Both]
Strangers, waiting, up and down the boulevard! Their shadows, searching, in the ni-y-ight!

[Eric Young]
Streetlight,

[Matt Striker]
People!

[Both]
Living just to find emotion! Hiding, somewhere in the-

And Matt, like a goddess from the heavens, screeches out the last word of the chorus.

[Matt Striker]
NIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGHHHHTTTTT!!!!

With that, Striker drops to his knees, reenacting an epic guitar solo as Eric begins to talk again.

[Eric Young]
Come Eye for an Eye, I will enter the chamber believing. I hope you all believe too because I'm,

And back into the song we go.

[Eric Young]
Working hard, to get my fill! Everybody wants a thrill!

Matt jumps back up, joining in with Eric.

[Matt Striker]
Payin' anything to roll the dice, just one, more, time!

[Eric Young]
Some will win!

[Matt Striker]
Some will lose.

[Both]
Some were born to sing the blues! Oh the movie never ends it goes on, and on, and on, and on! Strangers, waiting.

[Matt Striker]
Up and down the boulevard!

[Both]
Their shadows, searching in the ni-y-ight! Streetlights, People,

[Eric Young]
Living just to find emotion!

[Both]
Hiding, somewhere in the-

[Matt Striker]
NIIIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTTT!

Once again, like a goddess from above, Matt kills the solo, dropping to his knees and shredding on his electric guitar while Eric begins a speech.

[Eric Young]
Two long years I've been in this company with no title around my waist. It is thanks to all of you that I have this chance. Thanks to all of those that never gave up believing in me. It is because I didn't quit believing that I deserved more. That drive is what brought me here and tonight, when I beat John Cena, he will know that I truly do believe! Just remember, never stop believing kids. You can do anything that you set your mind to. Come Eye for an Eye, I prove that the underdog does come out on top. I'm out!

Declaring his exit, Eric Young storms off of the interview set as Matt Striker begins to arch his back, placing his shoulders on the mat as though killing a part in the song. He is humming the last bit of the song as the image comes to an end.

Triple H XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 DOioytN

Please tell me you saw that epic ref spot tho. SPOILERS!

*As Triple H gets the hard fought pinfall, and rises up to bask in the glory of his win over the Vuper, the crowd lets out a neutral response, Some of them wishing Orton would have pulled it out and some of them sticking with Triple H after all the hardships they've been through. The crowd's love won't be divided for much longer it seems like, as Triple H stops his celebrating quickly, grabs a mic from some worker and begins to speak.*

[Triple H]
How's that for a return?

*The crowd again lets out a loud neutral response.*

[Triple H]
You know, Randy Orton can come out here and talk all the crap he wants about how "I'm being disrespected" "I need competition" "These new guys are too easy for me" when in reality he should be kissing the ground my wife walks on for not booking him against a real superstar like me every week. You're calling yourself the "Legend Killer" again Randy? Well I'm still breathing and it looks like it's the other way around now. Honestly, I can't wait for the day those two clowns you were bickering with earlier, put you in the looney bin where you belong.

*The crowd reacts negatively to this, and the cheers are all but gone now for The Game, but he doesn't have a worry in the world, at least that's what his expression is saying right now. He just ignores the fans as he speaks again*

[Triple H]
But I'm not here to talk about Randy Orton, I'm here to talk about business. You see, I have a lot of unfinsished bussiness with a lot of people, and let's just say this, I wouldn't want to be on that list of people. I'm here to take care of business and yes I'm the Game, but I don't play games. I don't need to come out here and yell and scream for you people to love me, I don't need to use the lights or mind tricks, or come walking out of the crowd to frighten my opponents. Because that speaks for itself.

**Triple H gestures over to a downed Randy Orton. Before turning his attention back to talking*

[Triple H]
The Game hasn't changed. I can power through the quickest, brawl with the smartest, and outwit the strongest. I AM the measuring stick in this business and one little win over me will just be signing a death warrant for the next week. SO come one come all, because if you try to play me, expect it to be Game Over.

*Breakdown cuts to its next segment*

This match-up gets underway as Shelley and Ziggler slowly walk towards each other in the middle of the ring jaw-jacking every step of the way. Ziggler says, “Nothing has changed while you were gone: I’m still the best in this ring!” In response, Shelley smirks and says, “I’m surprised I can fit in the ring with all the room your ego’s taking up.”

They lock up and spend a few intense moments battling the gain the upperhand, the slight edge that they will need to get the better of the other in what will be a grueling equivalent of a chess match. Ziggler manages to twists Shelley’s arm—threatening to pull the arm right out of the socket—and proud of himself for winning the first exchange, Ziggler says, “I back it up every single night!”

The time it took Ziggler to utter that sentence was all Shelley needed to formulate his escape plan, and he may have even had seconds to spare. He does a forward roll, spins around on his ass so that he’s facing Dolph, then in a quick sequence off moves, Shelley kicks away Dolph’s hands breaking his grip, then he immediately grabs hold of his opponents arm and now he’s the one in the driver’s seat as Dolph cries out in pain.

Shelley teases him a little as he says, “I don’t want to hurt you too bad, Dolph. If this arm is broken, you’re in for a lonely time tonight.” Whether that is a legitimately worrying thought or not, Dolph mimics Shelley’s forward roll, but he takes the route that doesn’t feature as much finesse, and instead drives his two feet into Shelley’s chest knocking him to the ground.

The two men get up to their feet at the same time. Shelley goes for the first move, charging in Dolph’s direction, but he’s taken down with a side-headlock takeover. Dolph begins pumping his arms, an effective means of cutting off Shelley’s airflow, then he begins to roll over and while he still has the headlock synched in, Dolph lifts his legs into the air and does a handstand!

The people applaud Dolph’s show of athleticism and theatrics, although Shelley isn’t as impressed and the way he’s squirming in Dolph’s grasp causes him to lose his balance and flop back down onto the mat. Shelley uses his free forearm and presses it into Ziggler’s face. He rubs it back and forth, threatening to ruin those Hollywood good-looks, while simultaneously pushing down on Ziggler’s head until he can finally tuck it between his thighs.

Now Shelley is in control, interlocking his ankles and pushing himself off the mat as he exerts as much pressure as possible on the hold.

One!

Two!

Ziggler gets his shoulder off the mat, then tries to push Shelley’s leg up so that he can slip his head out, but then Shelley turns his body, painfully bending Dolph’s neck backwards. Shelley turns back into the original position and from there, Dolph is able to kip back onto his feet! He smiles as he runs his hands through his hair then flicks it into Shelley’s face who applauds as he gets off the ground.

Dolph motions over to the ropes and says, “after you.” Shelley responds with, “you’re too kind,” then dashes off to the opposite end of the ring. He comes back and nails Dolph with a shoulder block, but all it does is cause Dolph to stumble a couple of steps backwards. To that Shelley says, “someone’s been hitting the gym,” and Dolph retorts with, “let me show you how a star gets the job done.”

This time it’s Dolph who races over to the ropes. He comes back and instead of a shoulder block he slaps Shelley across the face! Shelley tries for a wild right that Dolph ducks under and then he sends Shelley running over to the ropes with a shove. Shelley bounces off, then has to step over Dolph who drops to the mat, then Dolph goes for a rebound, but Shelley stops short, then when Dolph hits the ground Shelley brings him to the mat with a side-headlock take over.

Shelley goes to take a page out of Dolph’s book, kicking his legs off the ground to get a headlock going and with each attempt the people start to get into it.

Whoa…

Whoa…

Whooooooooooooa

Shelley has it for like a second, but this clearly isn’t his forte as he quickly drops to the mat. He breaks the hold and while Dolph is still on the mat Shelley slaps him across the face to return the favor. Dolph gets up to his feet with a hand pressed against his cheek while Shelley backs up towards the ropes. Shelley blows a kiss in Dolph’s direction and that’s enough to get him to race in Shelley’s direction to sidesteps him and throws him over the top rope!

Dolph tries to hang onto the ropes, but loses his grips and lands feet-first on the outside of the ring. Meanwhile, Shelley has already dashed back towards the outside of the ring, picking up momentum for a suicide dive, but then he stops short of the ropes and takes a seat on the middle ropes, offering Dolph a free pass inside the ring!

That gets a smirk from Ziggler who takes his time walking over to the steel stairs, walking up them and then walking along the apron until he gets to Shelley who’s there waiting for him. Ziggler puts one foot through the ropes, then he lunges at Shelley and gets him down to the mat with a school boy pin:

One!

Two!

Shelley kicks out! As he rises to his feet, Dolph leaps into the air and goes for the kill with the Zig Zag but Shelley grips onto the ropes, preventing his head from getting driven into the mat. Ziggler rolls backwards into the center of the ring and just barely avoids getting superkicked into oblivion!

Shelley turns around and grabs Dolph’s foot just mere inches from where he planned to superkick his head off. Shelley throws down Dolph’s boot and hoists him into the air, looking to hit Automatic Midnight but it’s a tad too early for that—evident in the way Dolph is able to slip off of Shelley’s shoulders.

In that next instant, the same thought crosses their minds as they leap into the air to hit a dropkick and the soles of their boots collide before they hit the ground. They stare each other down with the ground roaring in the background and soon they break into a dueling chant of “Let’s go, Ziggler!” “Let’s go Shelley!” The camera can now barely pick up the conversation in the ring, but Shelley can be heard saying, “I see you’ve been studying my matches,” and Dolph quickly comes back with, “Yeah, they’re great for when I have trouble falling asleep.”

They slowly get back onto their two feet, ready to pick things up ag—

Before anything is even seen, the boos are deafening. The Wyatts are cutting into a fantastic match and chances are good things aren’t about to happen. This could be them picking up where they left off with Ziggler last week before their handicap assault was thwarted by Adam Cole – or maybe they’re about to send Shelley a message after he willingly signed up for what must be a suicide mission.

We get our answers when the lights flip back on as their Shelley lies, out cold on the ground! Over him stand Harper and Rowan—their shadow assault more than effective. With the bell ringing in the background—the match thrown away as The Wyatts continue to show they have no regard for the way things are supposed to work in this company—Ziggler starts shouting, “Hey, what do you think you’re doing?”

He may have been better off running for the hills as now the two big men have turned their attention to him, and take a few menacing steps in his direction. Suddenly there’s a huge pop from the ground as Adam Cole races down the ramp and slides into the ring. He went to war with Fandango earlier, but as long as there is a breath in his body he will use it to try and blow out the flame that keeps the Wyatts alive.

Cole and Dolph stand side-by-side telling the Wyatts to bring the fight now that it’s at least a little fairer than it was seconds prior and it actually looks like Harper and Rowan just might—

False alarm.

Their message was sent and they obviously didn’t see it fit to linger any longer than necessary. That’s right, Harper and Rowan have returned to the darkness they were birthed in and now that the lights are back on, the status of Alex Shelley becomes of the utmost concern. Cole is worried that the one man who volunteered to fight by his side may be sidelined, and Ziggler needs Shelley at 100% so that the next time they face off there are no excuses when Ziggler steals the show.

Following a commercial break that was so short that you didn't even have time to get up and grab a soda, we're immediately taken backstage inside the office of General Manager Stephanie McMahon. But instead of peacefully doing paper work, or planning for future events, she's in the middle of three divas that are all talking over each other, yelling, screaming, pointing, and of course simply said, bitching. Stephanie tries to smile even though she can't understand a single thing that any of them are saying, sipping on her iced coffee waiting for Madison Rayne, Layla, and Divas Champion Madison Eagles to simmer themselves down.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 MKx1DYX

But of course that's easier said than done, isn't it? These are three strongly opinionated women and they want to have their voices be heard first and foremost, so they're not exactly going to patiently let the others have a word in edge wise. Which is why Stephanie's patience is running out, because all she and all we can hear, are scattered bits of nonsense all mixed together because nobody will shut the hell up. Sure enough, that patience fully wears out, and Stephanie slams her cup down, stuffs her index finger and her thumb towards her mouth then whistles so loudly that they all three stop in their tracks.

[Stephanie McMahon]
That's better, now ladies what may I do for you?

All at once, as if they didn't realize their mistake the first time, start talking over each other again. Stephanie sighs, trying to keep her composure but it's kind of hard when you've got three women in your office all barking for one reason or another. A reason she hasn't figured out yet because nobody will take second fiddle and give someone the floor. Suddenly she closes her eyes then reopens them glaring at the three divas as she screams out.

[Stephanie McMahon]
QUIET!

Everything comes to a screeching halt as their boss yells so loudly that they freeze.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Ladies, I don't know what's gotten into either of you but let me remind you that I am your boss. So waltzing into my office like this, and babbling on about god knows what, is simply unacceptable. With that said, I'm willing to look past that and talk things out with you if you're going to be respectful of my space. So Layla, why don't you tell me why you've chosen to disrupt me in my office?

As if it were a surprise to anyone, Layla lights up with a glow of arrogance as she's chosen to talk first. Because it matters, right? Well to her it does and she looks at Rayne, then to Eagles and clears her throat in a by far melodramatic way.

[Layla]
I'm very sorry Stephanie, some people just can't be civil about things.

Eyeing The Divas Champion, Layla shakes her head and then turns back to Stephanie. Well if that's not the most ironic thing she's ever said.

[Layla]
Now I realize Eye For An Eye is a big night, the return of The Elimination Chamber, and let me just say...you made a terrific call by including moi in this years match. But, I did have an issue with the inclusion of someone else. Obviously you can't exactly have six of me in there, so it's a given that there will be some questionable participants in there with me...but why the hell is Athena included? I had to bust my ass to be successful, nobody just handed me an opportunity like that on a silver platter. She couldn't even win her debut match last week against Bayley...BAYLEY! And you think she's fit to be in a match as important as The Elimination Chamber?

[Madison Rayne]
I'm with her on this one, as always.

The duo share a smile before turning back to Stephanie.

[Madison Rayne]
You can't really be adding Athena to the match after that loss she had, can you? I mean, she isn't even championship material. Unlike myself, who would be divas champion if somebody hadn't of stolen it. Which, I guess is the only way they can get away from a loss to me is stealing it.

Madison shoots Madison... Er, Rayne shoots Eagles a glare that is obviously filled with anger at Eagles for stealing her what would be, first title since coming back and then Eagles shoots back at Rayne in regards to her stealing the title from Rayne

[[Madison Eagles]]
Stole? OK, first of all, I didn't steal anything from you, don't blame me because you couldn't get the job done yet again, and if that's not clear enough for you why don't I just knock you out like the last time you got in my way.

Then as she continues talking Eagles turns her attention to Stephanie after glancing over at Layla to make to obvious as to whom she is referring

[[Madison Eagles]]
And don't even get my started on that one there. If we're going to take about this not being fair then Athena is only a small part of the problem. We both know this match shouldn't even be happening, what have these two done to deserve a shot at my title? In case you didn't notice I've already beat Madison Rayne and Bayley for my title two weeks ago, and Layla what's she even done since she lost this title to Paige? Last time I checked this isn't a dance contest, this is XWL.

[Layla]
Cute, but last time I checked, that title belongs to The Divas Division, not The Boy's Club.

The so called "new" United Queendom" turn to one another with a proud smirk, as The Divas Champion just rolls her eyes.

[Layla]
You might think you're big and bad because you're hanging around with three other guys, but honey you're looking at the baddest. In fact, if you ask me...which you should, considering I'm the legend of this division after all. The only reason you don't want this match to happen is because you know you don't stand a chance in a TRUE test of your so called "skill." I know if I were The Divas Champion I wouldn't be here whining about having to prove why I was the best. But I suppose that's not much of a surprise coming from someone that can't actually back up what they say, you know like an inferior champion such as yourself.

Like a young girl backing her friend in an argument, Rayne steps up, taking shots at Eagles too.

[Madison Rayne]
How did you even get that belt in the first place? You obviously don't deserve it and besides your two fluke, and yes, I mean fluke wins over me, you have nothing over me. If it wasn't for the way things were ran around here, I would of been handed the title a long time ago.

[Stephanie McMahon]
And do you have a problem with the way things are ran around here?

Madison halts, like a deer caught in the headlights, knowing what she just said right in front of the boss.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Look, despite how you girls feel about each other, you are the best this division has to offer. So, suck it up and deal with it. Unless, you're all afraid of each other.

Rayne is the first one to step up, obviously not afraid even though she was terrified of Stephanie just moments ago.

[Madison Rayne]
Afraid!? I went through that psycho Candice LaRae just two months ago. A women who is hand given a shot for no reason, a friendly freak, and a man amongst women is nothing to be worried about. Come Eye for An Eye, that title is coming home with either me or Layla, obviously, the only two worthy of holding the belt.

As she looks down(literally) at Madison Rayne and Layla, Eagles' is clearly not impressed with their words as she happily answers them

[[Madison Eagles]]
Tell you what Madison, if you really feel that my two so called fluke victories over you, which by the way that's two more times then you've ever beat me. If that's how you really feel.. I'll tell you what, if you can reach my title then you can have it.

As she says that Madison holds her champion high above her head way without the reach of Rayne and Layla given her distinctive height advantage as she tries to get Rayne to reach for it

[[Madison Eagles]]
What's the matter, can't reach it can you? It's like you're not even trying. You know what, just forget it.

Giving up on her silly little game, Eagles' lowers the title and places it back over her shoulder where it belongs as she turns her attention to Layla

[[Madison Eagles]]
And as for you, Layla, I'm sure it's really easy for you to look at me and the Bullet Club and I'm sure it's real easy to talk about hanging out with the boys when you've become nothing more than Fandango's dance partner, but that's ok because he'd happily trade you in for a shot at the World title. But, I don't expect a "legend" like you to understand, you're probably too busy trying to figure out how it took you the best year of a year to lose to Paige and understand what the Bullet Club stands for. Now unlike you, I actually beat Paige, three times, and it took me all of five minutes to do so, but that's fine you'd rather be a legend, I'll just stick to being the Diva's champion.

Having had enough of the bickering between these three Diva's Stephanie once again steps in to put an end to it raising her voice at the three of them

[Stephanie McMahon]
Ladies! That's quite enough!

Now with their undivided attention Stephanie turns her focus to Madison Eagles

[Stephanie McMahon]
Madison, it seems to me that you've forgotten the conversation we had last week about you selecting the sixth Diva to be entered into the Elimination Chamber. So let remind you, that I specifically told you to pick someone, literally anyone to be placed in this match by the end of last week or I will pick for you, and you didn't do that did you?

[[Madison Eagles]]
About that, I don't really see why I should have to pick anyone. Just take a look for yourself, there's nobody even worth picking, Stephanie how you picked these four is beyond me. I mean these two, you've got to be kidding me. So I chose to not chose anyone, and really if you think about it, that's what's best for business.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Wherever you like it or not Madison, you will pick you final opponent. I thought you were a fighting champion, and if that's what you are then you'd have no problem in naming the final Diva. So I'll tell you what, forget the deadline, I want a name, and I want that name by Eye for an Eye. I want you to pay close attention on the Diva's division in the coming weeks and I want you to do the right thing to award the stand out Diva a shot at your title inside the Elimination Chamber, or you could take the easy way out, it's up to you. But need I remind you what happens when you cross a McMahon?

Before anything can be said, Stephanie and the diva's attention turns to the door as it can be heard opening, The camera turns and it's none other...than Bayley! It's clear the other divas could care less about Bayley, as all 3 let off a clear sigh. All divas clearly expect an hug to come from Bayley as they try to cover up as she walks near them

[Bayley]
Don't worry...I don't want to hug any of you....Except Stephanie. But...I think Athena deserves to be in this match, She's already shown that she's one of the top divas in this division. It doesn't matter that I beat her last week....That doesn't mean she doesn't deserve it..I even beat Madison a few weeks ago and...I could beat Layla, I could beat the other Madison! None of you take me as a threat...but I am a threat and I'm going to win the Elimination Chamber and become Divas Champion.

Eagles just rolls her eyes, not even acknowledging Bayley' comments whilst Layla and Rayne do their best to try hold back a laugh but can't hold it in as both let out a laugh at Bayley. At first Bayley begins to look upset that the other divas would laugh but after a second, her expression changes

[Bayley]
You can laugh now....but I've had Paige by my side, She might not have quite beaten you Madison....But I have. Paige has taught me everything, she knows I have what it takes to become Divas Champion and I might not have done that International Incident, but I will at Eye for an Eye. You can all write me off as much as you want but I will prove that I am not only just as good as you three...but better.

Layla once again lets out a mild chuckle before calming herself down and wiping away the imaginary tears.

[Layla]
What are ya' going to do, hug us to death?

Rayne flashes a smirk, while Layla once again finds herself in a laughing fit.

[Layla]
Bayley, I know you're just so excited to have a chance at The Divas Championship, but let's face it...there's no way someone like you, stands a chance at beating any...of us. Now the grown ups were having a conversation before you so rudely barged in, so how about you go sit in the corner and be a good little girl.

Patronizing poor Bayley with a pat on the head as if she were a dog, the friendly diva pulls away from Layla, lowering her head clearly upset after what Layla said. She's just a girl with big dreams, why you gotta put her down like that?

[Layla]
As for this whole Athena thing, I think it's quite obvious that she has no respect for this division, did you see her out there earlier? She interrupted my match, she's out of control and she should not be rewarded with a title shot, even if she stands less of a chance than huggie bear over there.

[Madison Rayne]
I can't agree with you more Layla.

Well that's obviously the case, isn't it? These two are besties, proven by the smirk they are sharing.

[Madison Rayne]
Putting myself and Layla in the title match was an amazing idea. I even think that Bayley is too much for this match. No need to crush her dreams, again, right? I think that instead, at Eye for an Eye, the title should just be awarded to Layla and myself.

The two bitches of the locker room stare at each other proud before Madison continues.

[Madison Rayne]
Honestly, we're the only two that's even at the championship level. We don't have to do childish things like hold stuff over people's head. Or hug people.

Shooting a dirty look at Eagles and Bayley, one seeming unimpressed while the other frowns. Do the math.

[Madison Rayne]
We're the top tier in this company and I think it should be one of us, if not both of us holding the title. This entire chamber idea is silly now that I'm thinking about it. Just give me and Layla the title, you know, to the people who actually deserve it.

As Layla and Rayne continue to try and weasel their way to the Diva's championship, Eagles stands there refusing to acknowledge what their saying, and then as they finish speaking, Eagles looks over to Stephanie as she once more addresses the situation

[[Madison Eagles]]
Well, I don't know what those two all the way down there have been saying, but I don't doubt for a second that they agreed with me entirely that this just isn't fair to me, and really Stephanie, if you think about it, it's not fair to anyone really. Just think about it for a second, who really wants to see Layla and Madison Rayne... at all really, let alone inside the Elimination Chamber? And after that's done, then what? Who's left for me to beat? You can't keep forcing me to beat the same old faces time and time again. Let's not beat around the bush here, I've already beat Madison Rayne twice before, and I beat Bayley at International Incident, and tonight I'll beat her again and deal with the Athena problem just like Layla hasn't been able to yet again, and then really, you've got to ask yourself do they really deserve a shot at my title after I've already beat them on numerous occasions?

Stephanie shakes her head in response to Eagles’ question, not only worn down by this five-way verbal cat fight, but also tired of explaining to the champ that there’s absolutely no way that she’s going to get out of having to defend her championship inside of the dreaded elimination chamber.

Eagles is right to be hesitant about stepping inside the imposing structure: it changes people and that is not just a reference to the aches and the scars that will haunt many of them for the rest of their careers—you don’t leave the chamber the same way you went in. Layla entered a wrestler and came out a dance—the chamber is a chance to continue breaking down barriers, but all that progression and history-making comes with a price.

Stephanie opens her mouth to explain that to Eagles, hopefully the last time she’ll have to do this, when a suddenly voice—different from all the others we’ve had the pleasure of hearing—chimes in from over by the door and all five pairs of eyes scan the room for the source until the women see who it is.

[Athena]
So I’m just a problem to be dealt with, huh?

A hush falls over the room. The Madisons and Layla aren’t ashamed of their bashing by any means—it wouldn’t be surprise if they’re incapable of feeling such a thing—but the surprise of seeing Athena standing there—the women being so caught up in their antics that they didn’t hear her enter—is enough to at least, mercifully, render them speechless for the time being.

[Athena]
So how do you figure you’d go about that, huh? Maybe you beat me, hurt me a little, and then I just run away with my tail tucked between my legs never to be seen again?

Eagles opens her mouth to respond, but Athena instantly cuts her off.

[Athena]
Look, don’t even bother answering that because the fact that you even think that it would be so easy shows that you don’t have a clue about what you’re talking about. None of you do.

[Layla]
Um, actually I…

[Athena]
What you are, Layla, is done talking. I’m sure you had your fun leading the anti-Athena rally but that’s over now. You can take your pitchfork and torch and shove them where the sun doesn’t shine.  You think I asked for this? For Stephanie to treat me like the second-coming to make up for what happened to her last pet-project? I know it may seem like I’m punching above my weight right now, I mean I’m stepping inside something so destructive with five of the best this division has to offer! But the reason why I made it to XWL in the first place is because I fought in those battles people thought I couldn’t win—and then I won them.

Athena’s eyes scan the room, looking at everyone in there: the women who she’ll be squaring off against and the woman who made that so, making it known that she means business.

[Athena]
But even when I didn’t win, the times when I failed, got knocked down and used what little energy I had to pull myself back up to my feet: people took notice. They saw that every time I fought I gave it everything I had. I wanted to be the best and I was dedicated to that; I learned from my missteps so that the next time I tripped I didn’t fall. I wanted to revolutionize women’s wrestling and I get a step closer every single time that I enter that ring. I deserve to be in this company and I won’t let any of you tell me otherwise, and maybe I haven’t been here long enough to show that I deserve to be inside that Elimination Chamber competing for the most prestigious prize in women’s wrestling; I get that, but you’re making it sound like I don’t even belong in a wrestling ring. Tell you what: keep underestimating me and watch me prove each and every one of you wrong.

Throughout this spiel, Bayley has appeared a little wounded. Perhaps hurt by the fact that Athena is constantly lumping her in with the mean chicks when she actually stood up to them and took her side.

[Athena]
Besides, if I’m not much of a threat, if I’m so unworthy to be in the same ring as you guys, then you shouldn’t be so worried about little ol’ me, right? I’ll be an easy elimination, get my 15 minutes of fame before I hit the road and that will increase your odds to win the match…but you know that won’t be the case. One match doesn’t define who I am and I may have lost last week, but that certainly doesn’t mean that you’ve seen the best of me. When September 19th rolls around and that chamber door is locked shut, you hussies better be ready—because I’m going to make art out of war. But don’t let me stop you from crying to Stephanie, go right on ahead and let it all out,  but don’t be surprised when you all find yourselves back here the next night begging her to make you the first to challenge for my diva’s championship.

[Bayley]
But Athena, I…

[Athena]
I can’t even believe you were a part of this, Bayley…I thought you were different. And Stephanie, I don’t know what you wanted me to meet you in here to discuss, but it’s clear that I’m not welcomed in this office, so I’m just going to go prepare for my match. Feel free to carry on with the conversation, ladies.

With her piece said, Athena turns and begins to walk away. She’s almost out of the office when Stephanie’s voice calls out to her.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Stop right there, Athena. Now that you've all gotten some things off your chest, I have something I'd like to say and I want you all present for it. So Athena if you please come back over here because this concerns you as well.

Returning to the middle of the room along with Bayley, Layla, Rayne, and Eagles...Stephanie clears her throat then addresses the five women who will be competing over The Divas Championship inside The Elimination Chamber in three weeks.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Clearly animosity is pretty high between you ladies, but we can't have everyone at each other's throats so soon, now can we? Absolutely not. This is a business, and if you can't get along with one another until it's time to fight, then you'll spoil all the fun. This match is huge, and I refuse to let anyone of you ruin it by going off the handle an doing something I promise you'd regret. So that's why next week, we're going to have ourselves a little fun. Think of it as helping you all find a friend, in midst of enemies. Now next week I'm officially making a Six Diva Tag-Team Match, and ladies...because I have faith in you, because I know how hard you all work to be the best you can be...I'm going one step further than that. That's right, it will be next week's Main-Event!

Thrown off by the idea of any of them aside from Rayne and Layla having to team together, the group isn't all that thrilled, well aside from Bayley but can anything spoil that good mood of hers? Even if Athena did assume Bayley was in on this she's immediately excited about the idea of teaming up with her newest friend. But the mood brightens as Stephanie reveals the big news, that it will be the Main-Event, divas closing the show is practically unheard of, so for Stephanie to position them so high on the show is a huge opportunity that they no doubt are appreciative of, even if some may not like the whole teaming up idea. But there's one problem, there's only five of them so who is the sixth? Dare we say, Stephanie?

[Stephanie McMahon]
Layla, Madison, I know what you're thinking....and I'm sorry, but you're already the best of friends...you don't need this exercise the way that the others do, so I'm afraid you'll be on opposite teams. It'll be you Layla, teaming up with...Bayley, and Athena!

Bayley's indifferent, excited for Athena, not so much for Layla but hey at least one of her partners isn't a total bitch. Speaking of a total bitch, Layla's not thrilled by the idea one bit, especially having to team up with Athena, who mirrors the same disdain she has for the idea. But Stephanie's the boss, what she says goes so they'll have to suck it up and do it.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Madison Rayne, I know you've been very upset over what happened at International Incident, but it's time to put that in the past and let bygones be bygones. Because it'll be you Madison,  and you Madison...teaming up with a woman I've had my eye on since she arrived on the scene. A scene I opened up for her when I personally signed her and invited her into this company. She's had a few hiccups along the way, but I feel Sasha Banks deserves a chance to prove herself, both to the world, and you Madison Eagles. Because need I remind you that I'll need a name by Eye For An Eye, and who knows...maybe you two will hit it off well next week, and you'll give her the chance should you feel she deserves it. So ladies, that's next week...but I've got some things to do so thank you for coming by, this has been a wonderful meeting and have a great night.

She motions to the door, to which Athena heads out of first, followed by The Divas Champion, then Layla and Madison Rayne exit together, whispering no doubt shady remarks about all of this, and then Bayley smiles at Stephanie, waving before making her exit. Next week's sure going to be crazy, Stephanie's not playing around and whether these women like it or not, they'll be forced to play friendly with their teams, because you don't wanna cross your boss, especially if that boss is Stephanie McMahon.

As the match comes to a close we are taken backstage where we see the chosen one walking down the hall. He looks to be on his way to ringside for his upcoming match. Stretching and flexing his arms, he looks focused for his match with the man who has been a thorn in his side for weeks now, Bobby Roode, and so he should be. Having beaten Bray Wyatt last week and earning a United States title match against Roman Reigns and the other contender Karl Anderson, he can't risk any injuries now. Suddenly his focus is broken and he stops in his tracks as he sees something that the camera doesn't. Slowly the camera pans around to reveal none other than the boss, Stephanie McMahon, standing in front of the Scotsman with her arms folded and a huge grin on her face. She takes a few steps towards Drew so that they're both in frame of the camera without saying a word and just stops in front of him. After a few moments she just laughs to herself and walks off, leaving Drew confused and speechless. Then, remembering he has a match, he tries to shake off whatever just happened and tries to refocus before continuing towards ringside.

Breakdown comes back from commercial break and we're now at ringside. The cameras pan around at the thousands of excited fans, cheering and enjoying what they have seen so far in the night. They're cheers don't last long though as the lights dim ever so slightly and have a golden tint as Broken Dreams begins to echo throughout the arena.

As the music picks up the chosen one emerges from behind the curtain. Instead of taking his time as he usually would, Drew goes straight down the ramp and around to the announcers booth, ignoring all the booing fans as he does. He picks up a mic and enters the ring clearly having things to say before his opponent comes out.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Drew-Mcintyre-drew-mcintyre-18867264-624-390

Drew McIntyre
Okay I'm gonna need you all to just shut the hell up for a minute, I have some things that I need to talk about.

As expected the jeers get louder and Drew paces back and forth in the ring nodding along, just waiting for them to stop which they inevitably do.

Drew McIntyre
Okay good, now that you all have that out of your systems I'm going to take a brief moment to talk about the match that I now find myself in at the Eye for an Eye pay per view. See last week I defeated the so called "Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt to earn myself a United States championship match... Actually no, one quick thing about that. Those of you who think I got lucky last week, those that think I cheated, I'm assuming you're all the same people who claim I cheated my way to victory at International Incident... Did any of you who are claiming such nonsense actually bother to watch the match? I'm gonna go ahead and say no to that because if you did, you would have seen that it was not me who decided that a weapon had to be involved, no. That weapon was brought in because Bray knew he didn't stand a chance without it and ironically it was that fear of losing which led to his loss.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 CJUYzJu

Drew McIntyre
And yes you all heard that right, fear. I am the one man around here that can make Bray Wyatt scared... Shouldn't that just say it all? I didn't cheat last week and I didn't cheat at International Incident, I am just that damn good.

This sparks a little more of a reaction from the audience, not only boos but some laughs too as if Drew is joking or maybe just laughing at how delusional the Scotsman seems. But Drew isn't joking, he just keeps pacing back and forth in the ring, ignoring all judgement, as if he truly believes the words that he just spoke.

Drew McIntyre
Anyway, back to what I was saying. At Eye for an Eye I will face off in a triple threat match against Karl Anderson and the current champion, Roman Reigns. Truth be told, I haven't been paying too much attention to either of them, there's absolutely no need to do any homework when you're as good as I am now is there? Don't get me wrong though, I know just as much as everyone else does about them both. I mean Anderson, well, he's your generic bald guy who seemingly has turrets or something. I'm sorry but if you swear as much as he does then that suggests a fairly limited vocabulary and there's no way in hell I'm going to be beaten by a spastic. I mean sure, he did beat Lesnar last week to earn his shot but lets be honest here, the less said about Lesnar the better. Now Reigns... I'll give him credit, he has done well to keep the title through all of the challenges he's faced so far but you see, unlike the others I know how to counter the only 5 moves that Roman can actually do.

Drew lowers the mic and laughs to himself as if he had just made a hilarious joke. He looks around at the fans and then the ref as if expecting others to be laughing too but that isn't the case. He clears his throat and wipes the smirk off his face before continuing on.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 UovBIHF

Drew McIntyre
Now when I win that triple threat match I will become the United States champion. I know, I know, believe me I'm not happy about it either. Representing all you degenerates isn't exactly what I want to be doing here but hey, maybe it's a blessing. Maybe it will force you people to actually show me some of the respect that I deserve...

Clearly starting to get worked up, Drew lowers the mic again and takes a deep breath before going over to the corner and taking a seat.

Drew McIntyre
I'm getting ahead of myself. See, even though I beat him at International Incident, Robert Roode has continued to be an annoyance to me, and in a few moments he will come out here and we will have a no disqualification match. I don't know why I need to face him again, it's not like I have anything more to prove against him but sadly Stephanie didn't exactly give me much of an answer. Maybe she's hoping that I don't make it to Eye for an Eye, I don't know. Nor do I care.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 YAwxD5K

Drew McIntyre
If there are and plans to take me out early then I'm sorry to disappoint, it's not going to happen. I've beaten Roode already and I will do it again and mark my words, I will make it to Eye for an Eye. Roode I don't know if I can say the same for you, not that you have anything going on for you anyway... I'm done talking now. Robert get out here, tonight this ends.

And with that, Drew tosses the microphone under the bottom rope and stands upright, awaiting Roode. It doesn't take long before the music hits the PA system and Roode emerges from the curtain, about to get this no disqualification match underway.

The match comes to a close a the referee's hand comes down and hits the mat for the three count, almost instantaneously, Roode hops up to his feet and spreads his arms out as if to tell the whole world "I told you so." He paces back and forth in the ring and up onto the turnbuckles, yelling at the fans in celebration but over the sheer noise of his music and the cheering fans, none of his words can be picked up by the cameras. As he's doing this, Drew is rolling around on the canvas holding his gut, writhing in pain. He tries to crawl over to the ropes to help himself up but it comes as no surprise as he struggles even with that after all of the chair shots he took from Roode in during the match.

Roode turns and sees McIntyre stirring and trying to make it back to his feet which causes a sadistic smile to cross his face. Immediately he rolls under the bottom rope and picks up one of the chairs that was on the floor and looks at it. The chair is crooked and bent out of shape having been rapped around Drew's skull and back multiple times. Roode turns to the XWL universe and raises the chair in the air and points to it with his other hand, showing everyone the damage that he has caused and asking if it has been enough, to which there is a resounding NO.

Nodding in agreement with them, the IT Factor turns and launches the crooked chair into the ring which thuds off of the back of McIntyre who had almost made it to his feet, knocking him back down slightly. Roode then proceeds to go under the ring and pull out another 4-5 chairs, tossing them all into the ring, every single one clanking as they his the mat inside, he proceeds into the ring himself afterwards. once inside he lifts one of the chairs and waits calmly for McIntyre to get back to his feet. Drew is clearly out of it here and Roode, confident as ever, knows it and takes his time knowing that he's going to enjoy this.

As McIntyre finally makes it up he unexpectedly turns into Roode who rams the chair into the ribs oh Drew, forcing him to his knees before lifting the chair high above his head and slamming it down onto the back of Drew. With a sickening smile he raises the chair again and brings it down onto the back of Drew, and again, and again, and again until the Scotsman is laying flat on the mat, back crimson red. Roode isn't done though, he kicks Drew in the gut causing him to roll over and stands over his body before yelling in his face and bringing the edge of the chair down hard into his ribs.

The majority of the XWL universe are no longer cheering as they are in shock of what they are seeing, no man should need to go through this kind of agony. Roode won't stop though, still standing over Drew he continues bringing the edge of the chair down into the ribs of the Chosen One, hearing Drew struggle for breath after every shot, until finally a bunch of officials race down the ramp and slide into the ring, forcing the IT Factor to finally stop which he is more than happy to do now. He knows the damage is done. Laughing, he tosses the chair aside and holds his hands in the air whilst backing up. As the doctor comes in to check on Drew, Roode exits the ring and makes his way up the ramp, not looking back once at the damage he's just caused. XWL fades to a commercial break with Drew and the officials all still in the ring.

XWL returns from its 36th commercial break and we head backstage to the general manager's office, where Stephanie McMahon stands, conversing with the World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena, who doesn't seem to comfortable with the situation. Stephanie places her hand on his arm.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 KjuLtuR

Stephanie McMahon
Do you not see what a fantastic opportunity this is for you? The people voted for Eric Young, and although I wouldn't usually agree to having Eric Young in my main event, tonight is different. In fact, it's perfect... This is your chance to take out another one of your undeserving opponents at Eye for an Eye, John, and the best part is, he won't even see it coming.

Stephanie smirks, but Cena's left feeling conflicted.

John Cena
I don't know...

The smirk disappears from Stephanie's face as she pulls her arm away.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 K8uAkKX

John Cena
Look, I know how you feel about him, but I've known Eric for years. He's really not as bad as you seem to think he is.

Stephanie scowls at Cena.

Stephanie McMahon
… I thought you understood this. I am the general manager of this company, and as the general manager, it is my duty to assure that anything and everything that happens here, is ultimately good for business. Now, I understand that you might like him, although god knows why... But Eric Young in the main event of Eye for an Eye? That's just not good for business.

John Cena
I think it is, just hear me out. Eric is probably one of the most entertaining guys I've ever met, and I've met a lot of entertaining guys over the years. Eric can put a smile on anyone's face just by showing up, and when it comes down to it, he's not too shabby in the ring either.

Stephanie cracks a smile.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 4BpWRVy

Stephanie McMahon
That's all very well and good. But those aren't the qualities that make a champion. Can you honestly look me in the eye and say that you could take Eric Young seriously as the World Heavyweight Champion of XWL? I don't even think Eric himself could take that seriously, it's a laughable situation.

John Cena
Laughable?... You know Stephanie, I was just like Eric once. I was the life of the party, I cracked jokes at everyone's expense, and I couldn't care less whether people loved me or they hated me, I still went out there with a smile on my face and gave them the most entertaining night of their lives.

Stephanie McMahon
The difference is, John, you grew up. You matured, you saw the error of your ways. Eric has not, and he will not. He just doesn't have the mind to be the face of this company, and just like Nakamura, he'll be better off elsewhere. You won't have to do much, just send him a message, make him realise that this isn't the place for him. And if he breaks a bone or two along the way, then so be it.

Cena shakes his head.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 ThjMHwf

John Cena
I can't do it. I won't do it.

Stephanie grows angrier by the second as Cena disobeys her orders. Has she lost the control she held over the World Champion?

John Cena
I agree with you that Shinsuke Nakamura wasn't championship material, and he'll be much better off elsewhere... But Eric? I just can't buy into that Steph. I'm sorry, you're going to have to get someone else to do your dirty work for you.

Cena turns away and walks out of the office, leaving a frantic Stephanie alone. She walks over to her desk and searches through her purse, pulling out her cellphone, she dials a number and raises it up against her ear.

Stephanie McMahon
I need your help.

The cameras cut away and the show runs on.

Breakdown returns to a sighting of former World Champion, The Rock! The Most Electrifying Man In Entertainment is backstage, mic in his hand.

[The Rock]
Finally.....The Rock! Has come back! To Greeeeeeeeensboro!

[The Rock]
Tonight, The Rock went one-on-one with his old enemy, everyone's least favorite lil' Lite-Brite wearing jabroni, The Rock's talkin' 'bout Chris "I have long hair, I have short hair, I wear scarves and I also like to eat my nasty ass poutine while kissing The People's Ass!" Jericho! Now, we all saw what happened. Yeah, The Rock came up a lil' bit short. Yeah, The Rock wasn't as up t' snuff as he was the past couple weeks, but when you're getting as many movie deals and as much pie as The Rock, hot damn, you ain't a loser at all!

The Rock laughs softly before continuing to speak into the mic.

[The Rock]
Now, The Rock knows that tonight, he's gonna sign The People's autographs. He's gonna sign Rock shirts, Rock hats, Rock pants, Rock action figures, Rock posters, Rock pictures, probably a couple of actual rocks, and then he's probably going to end up signing a pair of The People's titties! But then The Rock is gonna head back home to the 305, Miami, home of The U, and figure out just how to get that one step better, so that next time Chris Jericho, when you go one...on one...with The Great One...your cockatoo-headed, scarf-wearing monkey ass won't be so goddamn lucky! You were out there trying to mock The Rock, trying to be like The Rock! Well, jabroni, lemme lay this to rest for you. You will never, never, never, EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER....be anything close to The Rock.

[The Rock]
Because there's only one kiss-stealing, wheeling-dealing, son of a...no, wait, damn, that ain't it. Because I'm the best there is, the best there wa...damn. Because whatcha gonna do, brother? When Rockamania runs wild on you! No, that ain't it either! Ah, I think I got it. Because there is only one, the mold was broken when they made him, uno, un, one, single most...electrifying man in AAAAAAAAAAAAALL of entertainment. And that's The People's Champ, The Brahma Bull, The Great One...there is only one...The Rock. If ya smeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell-lalalaaaaaaaw! What The Rock....the only Rock....is...cookin'!

Breakdown fades out from The Rock to Stephanie McMahon in her office as AJ Lee suddenly barges in the door.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Didn't your mother ever teach you to knock when you were growing up!?

[AJ Lee]
Shut it. You think this is some kind of cruel joke, Stephanie!? Putting me in a tag match against...against those LOSERS!? You put me, you put a legend like Lita, you put two women's professional wrestlers...against those two little wannabe Divas? I mean look at them, Steph! You got Cameron, who doesn't know a wristlock from a wristwatch, and Snoop Dogg's cousin over there, who's just focused on wearing her stupid little shutter shades and her stupid little necklaces and her stupid little "BO$$" shirts to try and get her undeserved fifteen minutes of fame, while Lita and I? We bust our ass by actually wrestling to send the fans home happy, not to just get our names out there for Hollywood or Maxim or Playboy, or to get some crappy reality television show on the E! Network, that's just as crappy as the rest of them! So think about that next time you decide to put me in a match, because I am officially boycotting your booking decisions.

AJ smirks smugly as she grabs an office chair, sitting down on it and propping her Converse-covered feet up on the desk, eerily similar to another popular rebel who refuses to play by the rules of The McMahon family, grabbing her 3DS out of the pocket of her jorts and beginning to play Pokemon Y, causing Stephanie to smack the device from her hands.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Do you think you're just going to sit here and try to bully me into making you another match!? Then you're delusional, Miss Lee.

[AJ Lee]
Oh, it's okay for you, your husband and your father to bully everyone in the company, but when someone decides to fight back, suddenly I'm taking things too far? Did you ever even come to the hospital to check up on me when Alicia Fox nearly split my skull in half!? Did you or your little hubby-poo even bother to give Alicia any disciplinary actions!? No! You rewarded her with a title shot. And just like at Final Stand last year, and just like at Unscripted, just like when you announced her for Miss Money In The Bank at Final Stand this year, when you give her an opportunity, she choked, again. Where are my opportunities, hm? You try to put me against your little pet Kharma and she was too busy trying to eat live chickens or something to bother showing up! Then you put me against another one of your former pet projects, Sasha Banks and her stupid little Diva wannabe friend, who's claim to fame is dancing around like an idiot with Naomi and saying her favorite match was Melina vs Alicia Fox. You're pathetic as a GM, pathetic as a McMahon, and pathetic as a woman. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a gym leader to beat.

AJ smirks before picking her 3DS up off the floor, skipping away into the corridor as she leaves a fuming Stephanie McMahon behind her, muttering four-letter words and death threats before slamming her door.

As Breakdown continues the cameras are rolling looking out into the corner until a very familiar voice echoes around the arena, and none other than Paul Heyman walks out onto the stage

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Hey2j4_zpsa3687ec6

Paul Heyman
Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman.

With Heyman standing at the top of the ramp the crowd instant start booing him before he can say one more word forcing him to wait for a moment before properly introducing himself

Paul Heyman
I'm sorry, clearly my reputation has preceded me, because clearly you people know who I am already, and you already know who my clients are and what they can and will do, and I don't want to bore you with the facts, believe me I don't and I know it may seem like otherwise but I take no joy in telling you that..

Heyman takes a brief pause for quickly rattling into a long rant about his first client the Second City Saint CM Punk

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Hey2j2_zps467d2d2d

Paul Heyman
MY CLIENT The Voice of the Voiceless! The current Money in the Bank briefcase holder, the man who holds the very future of the XWL World Heavyweight champion in his hands, and whoever walks out of the Elimination Chamber with the World Heavyweight championship... Well I don't want to spoil it for you, but let's just say I wouldn't expect the celebrations to last very long. My best friend in the entire world, and he is the man who coined the phrase Paul Heyman Guy and he is without a shadow of a doubt the Best Wrestler in the World, he is my client, he is...

Then as always when Heyman says his clients name the crowd shout it along with him, continually showing their support for Punk

Paul Heyman
C...M... Punk!

Foolowing that the crowd cheer for Punk hoping to see more of him tonight

Paul Heyman
Who as you saw earlier tonight is in a fighting mood, but unfortunately for you, I don't let my clients fight for free...

With Heyman informing the crowd that CM Punk won't be fighting for free(presumably meaning Fandango) tonight the crowds cheers quickly turn into boos

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Hey2j5_zps804470a3

Paul Heyman
I know it seems that way, but trust me, I took no pride in telling you all of those things, it pain's me to repeat those things each and every single week, sounding like a broken record. Now whether they are true... You bet they're true, and regardless of that, and regardless of the fact that I am incredibly proud of everything my client CM Punk has ever done. Like a proud father as he raises a problem child through the pitfalls of society, a society that doesn't want him, watching that first born son of his take the final step to becoming a man, to conquering the world that he now has at his feet, I get to experience that sensation every single moment I watch CM Punk go down to that ring and be everything he sets out to be, and right now I am steering my other client through the very same pitfalls and I have zero doubt that he will cease every opportunity afforded to him for no other reason then because he can, but I don't want to talk about that... but I have to talk about that, because you need to know that when a Paul Heyman guy steps out of that curtain and makes his way down to that ring that you are about to pay witness to one of the finest professional wrestlers alive today.

Heyman pauses for a moment before quickly changing the subject to another one of his clients

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Heyman2_zps01e4c7a0

Paul Heyman
Just take for example my OTHER client the man who is the Best in the World at everything he does, the King of Swing! The new Next Big Thing! The Swiss Sensation! The Very European, the Pound for Pound strongest man in XWL today... MY CLIENT Cesaro!

As Heyman shouts out his clients name the crowd are split into boos and cheers with many fans torn on their opinions for the former United States champion

Paul Heyman
And he is the man who last week gave Chris Jericho what wasn't just a beating of a lifetime, it wasn't just that, far from it. What my client did to Chris Jericho was a mauling, what my client did to Chris Jericho was pure destructive force, what my client did to Chris Jericho was take a man who to be completely honest has an undeniable Hall of Fame career and he dismantled him before your very eyes and he did so with his bare hands... Now ask yourself why would Chris Jericho request to be locked inside a Steel Cage with a man who can do this to him?

Heyman seems puzzled for a moment as he questions the thought process of Chris Jericho

Paul Heyman
It doesn't make sense does it?

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Hey2j1_zps54ec6162

Paul Heyman
But you see Chris Jericho is a much smarter man than most of you, but unfortunately for Chris Jericho it's going to take a lot more than a ballsy move to outsmart a schmuck son of a Personal Injury Lawyer from the Bronx. What does he think I'm stupid all of a sudden? I've seen every trick in the book and he knows that.

Heyman continues to ponder the thinking of Jericho as he teases the crowd like an Investigator from one of those shows about the crack open the case, thinking he has the not so obvious answer to the untrained eye

Paul Heyman
However the question remains why? Why would Chris Jericho wants this match? He's already admitted that last week he was on the receiving the beating of a lifetime, he already admitted that Cesaro left him a shell of a man... It's obvious isn't it? What Chris Jericho wants isn't a Steel Cage match with Cesaro... No! It's a mercy killing. Chris Jericho knows he can't beat Cesaro, there's no coming back from a beating like that, quite frankly I'm surprised he even turned up this week, let alone at all...

Heyman then changing his tone as he speaks in a certainty as he explains the situation to the fans, at least the situation he believes it to be

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Hey2j3_zps5806209d

Paul Heyman
What Chris Jericho is asking of my client is to put him out of his misery because he knows there's no coming back from this. He knows that his days are numbers and he can hear the ticking of the clock just waiting for the hour hand to strike midnight on the fairy tale career that is Chris Jericho, and in one final wish he's asking, no, pleading for Cesaro to end it all. He might put on a tough guy exterior, claiming that he's still just as good as he used to be, saying that we've lit a fire inside him, but last week when I witnessed first hand what Cesaro did to Chris Jericho, I knew it. I think everyone knew it, and if you didn't then quite frankly you are a fool. Who are we kidding here? Chris Jericho if it's a Steel Cage match you want with Cesaro at Eye for an Eye then it's a Steel Cage match with Cesaro you will get!

With the challenge accepted the crowd cheer for the upcoming match, Cesaro vs Jericho inside a Steel Cage, no escapes, pinfall or submission only

Paul Heyman
And this ladies and gentlemen is my favorite part because right now I would like to introduce to you, my client the man who at Eye for an Eye will end Chris Jericho's career, the NEW Best in the World at everything he does! MY CLIENT Cesaro!

Heyman gestures towards the entrance way as his client Cesaro's music starts to blast through the arena

As Cesaro walks out onto the stage he stands side by side with his manager Paul Heyman and shakes his hand before they start to make their way to the ring for the upcoming match as Breakdown heads to a commercial break

As Cesaro's music plays and his arm is raised by the match official much to the fans' dismay, Paul Heyman rushes into the ring and latches onto his other arm before raising it himself.  Both Cesaro and Heyman wear satisfied grins as they feed off the negativity showering them from the XWL Universe.

Suddenly, there's a rise in the volume of noise emitting from the audience, some even cheer.  Confused by this Cesaro and Heyman look around and Chris Jericho has hopped the barricade with a steel chair in hand!  Jericho is clearly all fired up and hellbent on gaining some retribution here tonight at Cesaro's expense!

Jericho isn't prepared to wait until Eye For An Eye after all and the look in his eyes says it all.  Jericho rushes the ring as the colour drains from Heyman's face and he stands there like a deer caught in the headlights, completely frozen.  Cesaro though, remains composed in the face of danger and quickly exits and just as Jericho makes a swing for his manager, he is able to pull him out legs first to safety, rendering Jericho's forceful swing harmless.

Cesaro and Heyman begin to make an exit up the ramp under the roar of the Universe as Jericho leans into the ropes pleading with them to get back into the ring.  His music begins to play emphasizing this small victory as he stands in the ring he has cleared.

The camera focuses first on Heyman who has turned white as a sheet... then Cesaro who looks back at Jericho with a hateful gaze... before finally it rests on Jericho who stands in the middle of the ring with the steel chair raised up high.  One thing's for certain, this is far from over and the buildup to Eye For An Eye will surely continue as both men tread a dangerous path that leads to a destination which will leave a mark on both men's careers... the Steel Cage.

Breakdown fades to a commercial break...

As the night goes on and the fans are anxiously awaiting for the competitors of the next match to make their appearance, the titantron lights up causing everyone in the arena to turn their attentions and see what's going on. What we see is a plain black door in the backstage area labeled "Trainer's Room". Behind the door men can barely be heard speaking, one groaning clearly in some discomfort. After a moment the voices begin getting louder before the door opens and out steps the Chosen One, Drew McIntyre. His ribs are taped up and he a look of pure pain on his face which is understandable after what he went through earlier in the night in his match with Bobby Roode. He steps out from the frame of the door with one hand holding his ribs and with the other slams the door hard behind him, creating a bang that echoes down the hallway.

? ? ?
Drew, Drew! Hold up...

As Drew hears that voice the look on his face gets worse and he looks down towards the floor, letting out a big sigh which makes him cringe as it hurts when he breathes. Knowing who it is already Drew lifts his head back up and turns around to see Renee Young standing behind him with a microphone in her hand and her usual huge smile on her face. If Drew didn't know any better, he'd think that the reason she's so happy right now is because he's hurt but then again, she's basically always happy.

Renee Young
Drew, I just wanted to quickly get your thoughts on your loss tonight against...

Renee comes to an abrupt stop as the microphone is snatched from her hand by Drew. Clearly he isn't in the mood to be the subject of one of her little interviews right now. He takes one look at the mic in his hand and throws it down the hallway, then clutches his ribs in pain once again knowing that he shouldn't have done that. Luckily the camera is right there so we can here him speak anyway.

Drew McIntyre
Take a look at me Renee, do I look like I am in the mood to talk right now? Hmm? No, of course not. I was just viciously attacked by that rat Roode and I may now possibly have broken ribs or something, I don't know. Anything could be wrong right now. Yup that's right, I guess Robert got what he wanted right? No no, I guess Stephanie got what she wanted since she was the one who set that match up. I have a United States title match in 3 weeks, I should not be needing to deal with shit like this...

Drew turns to walk away in frustration much to the relief of Renee but her relief is ever so brief as Drew changes his mind and comes back.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 G3UuVHR

Drew McIntyre
Tell me something Renee... Why would someone present a man with such a great opportunity then proceed to do whatever she can to rip it away from him? Does that make sense to you? No? Because it sure as hell doesn't to me. You know what's funny? I bet Stephanie is just laughing away to herself in her office right now. Bobby will probably be doing the same. In fact I bet that so are Anderson and Reigns. I mean I'm clearly going to be the weak one in our match now, the most vulnerable. For them I will be easy pickings, all they have to do is get the other out of the way and the win is basically theirs right?

There's a sarcastic tone is Drew's voice now as he says this, Renee is just standing awkwardly needing to listen to the Scotsman's rambling.

Drew McIntyre
See Renee, if it didn't hurt like hell for me right now, I'd be laughing. I'd be laughing because they all have no idea just how wrong they actually are. Yes I'm a little hurt, of course I am, but if they all think that's going to make me any less of a problem then they could not be more wrong. Even if I am a moving target I am still twice the wrestler than any of them are and all Roode has managed to do tonight is have them lower their guards for me.

Drew tries to laugh a little but instead begins coughing and clutching his ribs.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 KVBmKvk

Drew McIntyre
Believe me Renee, I will still walk out of Eye for and Eye with the United States championship... That's a promise.

As Drew finishes speaking he expects Renee to maybe say something back to him but instead her focus is taken away by something she sees behind Drew as Bullet Club members Karl Anderson, Prince Devitt and AJ Styles enter the camera shot standing together as a group, as the Machine Gun starts to speak

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Bc2_zpse29b5a7f

[[Karl Anderson]]
Well, well, well look who it is guys, it's Drew McIntyre, the number one contender to the United States championship, well one of them at least.

Anderson looks down briefly pointing at McIntyre's tapped up ribs

[[Karl Anderson]]
And look at that boys, old Drew here is all banged up, now that's too bad. Who'd want to be going into the biggest match of their career and not being one hundred percent. But that's not my problem, hell it gives the advantage to the good guys, and if I was a betting man I'd say the gold's coming home to the Bullet Club. We want more gold don't we Prince?

Anderson turns to Prince seeking confirmation to his question, as Devitt takes over answering Karl Anderson

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Bc1_zpsfdd1792c

[[Prince Devitt]]
Of course we fucking do. Who else is going to take it? This Eejit? I'll be damned if the United States championship belongs to a fucking Scot prick this guy when it can go to The Machine Gun Karl Anderson, the Bullet Club's Karl Anderson! And come Eye for an Eye that's exactly what's going to happen.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Bc6_zps99e1c290

[[Karl Anderson]]
Hell, and soon enough we'll all be wearing gold, then who's going to try and stop us? Not this jerk off, that's for sure. Look at him, Prince, he doesn't stand a chance in the Triple Threat. And you know what, if Bobby Roode gets his hands on him again I bet he won't even make it to the Pay-Per-View and it will just be me and the champ, and I like my chances with that, I think my chances are damn good, I think we're looking at the next United States champ here, boys. That would be pretty sweet wouldn't it, Prince?

[[Prince Devitt]]
Too fuckin' sweet.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Bc3_zpsd48d599a

With that said Devitt and Anderson Too Sweet each other clearly in-sync with each other as Devitt goes on the speak some more to Drew McIntyre

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Bc4_zpsc2b880a0

[[Prince Devitt]]
Unfortunately for you, the Bullet Club won't be under estimating you, how could we do that, we need to estimate you before we can do that, and we don't estimate, we dominate, the Bullet Club dominates everyone who stands before them and this jerk off's going to be no different.

As Devitt finishes speaking it's now AJ Styles to steps up to the plate as the Bullet Club continue to discuss their possible upcoming history making pay-per-view event

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Bc9_zps31933141

[[AJ Styles]]
Well said gentleman, this guy ain't even fit to be a champion let alone a "United States" champion, I mean who are you trying to fool here Drew, you're as Scottish as the great William Wallace himself. You don't deserve a Championship that was made specifically for the United States. That being said, at the end of the day it really doesn't matter what ethnicity you are Drew, Karl Anderson is simply better then you. Individually we are better then everyone in this company, but Bullet Club as a whole outclasses the entire world in every way shape and form.

AJ pauses for a brief moment as he turns to his fellow Bullet Club members

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Bc8_zps541cb054

[[AJ Styles]]
Speaking of outclassing, that is exactly what I'm gonna do to those five other pricks come Eye For An Eye. I will walk into that chamber, I will get locked into that pod, and when I exit that pod, I'm going to kick some serious ass and show them why they call me The Phenomenal One. And at the end of the night when that bell rings for the final time, AJ Styles will stand in the middle of that ring as XWL's new World Heavyweight Champion! And once Eye For An Eye is in the books gentlemen and Bullet Club adds some gold to it's wardrobe, I think it'll be a perfect time to show it off to the ladies with a night on the town.

Devitt and Anderson smile at the idea of the post-match after party nodding in agreement with AJ

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Bc7_zpse27bbfba

[[Karl Anderson]]
You can say that again AJ, you know the Bullet Club is always down to pound a few cold ones, and we all know Prince knows a thing or two about the ladies, and really we might as well start now and tell Johnny to start shining that belt up nice and bright for you. You're going to look so good with that title. So damn good, just imagine AJ Styles, the XWL World Heavyweight champion. I like the sound of that, I like it a lot.

Karl glances over at AJ as the Bullet Club continue to toot their own horn

[[Karl Anderson]]
You know what I love, AJ? We're so much better than everybody else, just take a look at us, we're fucking untouchable around here. We're the champions elect, we've been here for like a month and they can't get enough of the Bullet Club. World champion, United States champion, hell we haven't the Diva's champion around here somewhere wherever she is. We're taking this place over.

The three men stand there for a brief moment until Devitt turns to AJ and Anderson as he comes to a sudden realisation

[[Prince Devitt]]
What the fuck are we doing here here, lads? Huh? What the fuck are we doing here, wasting our time hanging around with this idiot? You know what? Tonight it's time we show the world exactly what the Bullet Club is all about, we're going to do what we do better than everybody else and we're going to show the world that the Bullet Club is REEEEAAAALLLL

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 Bc5_zps228af25e

With nothing more to say Devitt Styles and Anderson make their exit from the trainers room leaving Drew McIntyre stood there alone as the cameras fade out to end the segment

That’s it, Devitt has had enough. For the third time Rowan has popped onto the apron and the leader of the Bullet Club isn’t going to stand for it any longer. Devitt charges right at Rowan the clubs him in the face with a forearm that sends the big man flying off the apron!

The people hardly feel any sympathy for Rowan, but they aren’t exactly bowing down to the Prince either. Devitt races to the opposite end of the ring, building up momentum for a risky suicide dive, but inside of a clear path to the ropes, Harper intercepts him with a vicious big boot! Rowan prepares to enter to ring to get some payback, when he’s pulled off the apron by Karl Anderson!

The two behemoths exchange concrete-shattering blows on the outside of the ring, while Harper pulls a groggy Devitt up to his feet who then suddenly rakes Harper in the eyes then charges over to the ropes and flies up and over taking Rowan down!

Anderson is giving his stable mate his dues for pulling that move off so effortlessly but Devitt ignores him, pointing over to the ring where Harper flies through the ropes taking Anderson out with a dive of his own!

Devitt pounces on Harper until the big man overpowers him and shoves him back. Before the two men can reengage, Harper is attacked by Anderson and Devitt by Rowan! The Ref calls for the bell as the match is far out of his control now as the four men begin to tear into each other!!

Security bum rushes the area, and the boos ring out loud and clear as the crowd then transitions into a chant of “let them fight!!” the masses eager to let these two stables wipe each other off the face of the earth.

Suddenly Bray Wyatt appears and he begins to pull his brother up the ramp, tugging at them by their shirts. Harper almost immediately obliges and takes over the duties of restraining the more rabid Rowan by shoving his hand in Rowan’s face then slapping his brother across the cheek to slap some sense into him.

Devitt and Anderson, a wall of security obstructing their path, stand there and watch with anger written all over their faces. The cameras cut back over to Bray, flanked by his cronies, who looks a lot more composed. In fact, he looks over at Anderson, his opponent for tonight and begins to chuckle as—

BAM!

Out of nowhere Alex Shelley and Adam Cole superkick Harper and Rowan in the back of the head flooring them! Now the people have something to cheer for and they really give it all they got while Shelley and Cole stare down Bray who actually looks surprised.

Cole says, “that was a warning,” before turning and exiting the arena with Shelley a step behind him. With just the kick, The Wyatts were reminded that their main issue is not with The Bullet Club, but with a group of men who have assembled to accomplish a singular goal that would be nearly impossible to accomplish separately: cleanse XWL of the poison known as The Wyatt Family.

As the ref calls for the bell, the theme of Bayley hits across the arena! Fans jump up in cheer for Bayley's huge victory. Bayley gets to her feet with a huge smile across her face knowing she picked up a big win just weeks before the Elimination Chamber. Bayley nods her head as she gives fans the air high fives, as she's clearly proud of her win. She is then joined in the ring by Renee Young

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 MYjZE6v
[Renee Young]
Bayley,Congratulations on the huge victory! We are just weeks away from Eye for an Eye, and in recent weeks certainly, you've been on a roll here in XWL first picking up a win against Athena last week and now this week you've just pinned The Divas Champion. Surely that must give you some confidence going into the Elimination Chamber?

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 GTjB4CS
[Bayley]
I just pinned Madison Eagles...Again! Finally all my hard work is paying off...Ever since I was a little girl..I've dreamed of holding that Divas Championship and I have a chance to make that dream come true. Over the past few weeks I've proved that I deserve to be here and I deserve a chance at that Divas Championship. I've pinned the champion twice...I've pinned Athena last week...

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 2fbh05P
[Bayley]
Nobody in the Chamber see's me as a threat...but I am a threat! I'm a threat to everybody in the chamber, I don't care if it's Layla or if It's Madison Rayne...I can beat them. I know I can...They might write me off, they might laugh at me but I'm used to it! All my life people have written me off and never given me a chance and I proved them all wrong. I did more than anybody ever thought I'd do just by making it here to XWL and now I have another chance at making my dream come true. I can't even begin to explain what It would mean to me to become the Divas Champion...but I know I can do it, I know I can prove that I'm one of the best in this divas division.

XWL Breakdown: 8/29/2014 - 9/5/2014 - Page 2 9mzZCjA
[Bayley]
I know Paige is cheering me on from wherever she is, and I can do it! I know I have what it takes to make it to the top of this division, nobody else believes I can do it..but I do. I showed tonight, I'll show next week and I'll show inside the Elimination Chamber...that I am a threat! They're all underestimating me and that's fine..because I'm going to prove them all wrong!

Bayley's theme once again hits across the arena as Bayley still with a huge smile across her face, obviously still happy with her win tonight delivers a hug to Renee Young as Breakdown continues.
