XWL Breakdown: 6/13/2014 - 6/20/2014

John Cena is walking down the hallway to his locker room, but as he arrives, he sees Renee Young waiting outside for him with a microphone in her hand.

Renee Young
John! Congratulations!



John Cena
Thank you Renee.

Renee Young
The king of the Ring... How does it feel?!

John Cena
Honestly, the feeling is surreal, and I would have given anything to be able to go out to the ring tonight and celebrate my victory with the people who stood behind me throughout the past four months. I tell you Renee, I had the biggest celebration planned, there was going to be drinks for everyone, confetti was going to fall from the sky, and Renee, I'm sorry to tell you this, but there were even going to be some balloon animals.

Renne tries to speak, but Cena cuts her off.

John Cena
I know! It would have been the best celebration XWL had ever seen! And who knows, with all of the colourful confetti falling from the sky,  maybe it would help Shawn Michaels remember that he has a championship match at Digital Decision!.. But unfortunately, that's not going to happen.. Well, I mean I hope that Shawn remembers soon, because if he doesn't, it might be kind of awkward when I'm standing in the ring in four weeks time, waiting for him to come down...

Cena rolls his eyes to the left and then to the right and smiles softly.

John Cena
But yeah Renee, all of the hard work I put into planning my coronation tonight, it was all unfortunately for nothing. See, because of a certain false prophet, I've been, well let me think, how was it that Stephanie McMahon said... “Barred from the ring”. Yeah, I think that was it.  See, because of Bray Wyatt's little blindsided attack, Stephanie McMahon has given the order to keep me as far away from the ring as possible.

Renee tries to speak again, but is cut off once more.

John Cena
I know what you're going to say Renee, I should have forced my way past the security, headed on down to the ring and started the celebration without her! Trust me, if it was possible, that's exactly what I would have done. I might have been able to fight my way through a security guard or two, maybe five, hell, I could probably hold my own against ten of those guys! But at the end of the day,  I am human, and even I can't fight off that many security guards... But I'm not giving up, no, one way or another, I will get down to that ring tonight, and if we can't hold the celebration this week, then we'll hold it next week, or the week after, hey if it makes Stephanie happy, we can even hang Bray Wyatt from the roof and use him as a pinata, now that would be a party worth waiting for!

The crowd cheer for Cena's last comment as Renee cracks a smile, trying not to laugh.

John Cena
I'm sorry Renee, but if you'll excuse me, I really have to get something from my locker room.

Renee Young
Oh! Yes, of course.. Sorry John..

John Cena
Don't worry about it.

Renee steps aside and Cena opens the door to his locker room.

John Cena
Oh great, you're here too.

The camera follows Cena as he enters his locker room and comes face to face with Stephanie McMahon.



Stephanie McMahon
It's nice to see you too, John.

John Cena
I'm sorry, you must have misheard me. I didn't say it was nice to see you.

Stephanie McMahon
Come on now John, you can't still be upset about that little thing. I only banned you from the ring tonight for your own sake, you saw what Bray Wyatt had to say earlier, whether you were expecting it or not, the Wyatt Family embarrassed you at Supremacy John, they took a defining moment in your career and they spat all over it, they left you restrained, barely conscious, unable to fight back. And as you know, they made their intentions crystal clear tonight, they were prepared to end your career, John. To 'end' you, John. I couldn't allow for my number one contender to suffer an injury or worse! It just wouldn't have been good for business... But don't worry, everything is good now. I've  been personally informed that Bray Wyatt is no longer in the arena, so consider your 'suspension' lifted. Of course, it's far too late for your little celebration now, but that's okay, you can do that next week, right?

Cena doens't say a word, shaking his head at Stephanie, who walks past him to the door.

Stephanie McMahon
Have a good night now, John.

Stephanie leaves John's locker room, and the camera follows behind her, the last scene we see is that of the door closing as we cut away to a commercial break.

As Breakdown continues the manager to four of the top stars in XWL today, Paul Heyman is stood by backstage as he clears his throat and begins to address the XWL Universe



Paul Heyman: Ladies and Gentlemen, it has come to my attention that the nuisance better known as Sami Zayn has had some choice words to share with the world earlier tonight which...

As Heyman starts on talk about Sami Zayn, he stops himself in his tracks remembering he needs to say something else as he changes the topic to make sure the XWL universe are fully aware about all his his clients

Paul Heyman: I'm sorry, I forgot to properly introduce myself, my name is Paul Heyman, and I am the strategist behind the man who has and will continue to run through the entire XWL roster, that man of course being THE BEAST INCARNATE! My client, BROCK LESNAR! And I am the man behind the current holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase, the man who literally holds the fate of the World Heavyweight Championship in his hand, that man also just happens to be my best friend and the Best Wrestler in the World, he is the Voice of the Voiceless, CM Punk! And I am also the spokesperson to one of the original Paul Heyman Guys, the Extreme Machine and one of the most dominant forces to ever step foot in an XWL ring, Bully Ray.



Paul Heyman: And finally I am the advocate to my client, the King of Swing, the undeniable, unquestionable and undisputed pound for pound strongest man in XWL today, the Swiss Superman, the Very European, Ces..ar..o!



Paul Heyman: Now back on to the matter at hand, last week at Supremacy I extend an olive branch of acceptance to one Sami Zayn and as everybody saw first hand was one he threw directly back into my face and my client Cesaro's face. I tried to be the bigger man and kindly welcome Sami Zayn to the main roster of XWL, a moment which he said himself was the biggest of his career and I went out to the ring to congratulate him on his current success and my client Cesaro had the exact same intentions, but unfortunately one Mr. Zayn did not accept our gracious offer and instead took a cowardly cheap shot against my client, and now the entire world is riding on the waves of Sami Zayn's big arrival.



Paul Heyman: Now I could stand here all day and tell you all why Sami Zayn will lead you all to disappointment, I could stand here all day and tell you what Sami Zayn did to my client Cesaro last week was cowardly and if Sami Zayn had the guts to step into the ring with my client Cesaro last week, cheap shots a side mind you then right now we would be talking about how my client Cesaro demolished Sami Zayn on his debut live on Pay-Per-View... But I'm not going to do that, because my client Cesaro is going to do that himself...



Paul Heyman: Next week on Breakdown. See my client Cesaro unfortunately cannot be here this week, however I have been assured that he will be live on Breakdown next week to address each and every single XWL fan and more importantly to address Sami Zayn. And I sincerely hope Mr Zayn accept my invitation to meet face to face with the man who he so cowardly attacked last week in the middle of the ring my client Cesaro and hear what he has to say for himself next week, because I know Sami Zayn will want to hear it.

As Paul Heyman finishes speaking he walks off out of camera shot forcing the segment to come to an end

The boos are deafening as Breakdown returns from a commercial break to the tune of Fandango's theme music. It takes only a second for the crowd to become as rabid as they've been tonight, and that's because the very sound of what they're hearing reminds each and everyone of them of the atrocity that took place at Supremacy last night. CM Punk, The Mr. Money in The Bank and Hometown Hero was screwed, and they're not at all happy about it. In fact as the crowd is scanned upon for a brief moment, there are many signs showing their disdain over the events of last night. Including a "Faaaan-Daan-Sucks" sign located near the ramp way.


[JR]
Goodness gracious this crowd is not at all happy right now.

[Michael Cole]
Well boo freakin who. The person they should be booing over all of this is CM Punk, he's the one that lost, it's his own fault.


[King]
Come on Cole, you know that's not true.

[JR]
Layla was bragging about it earlier tonight in fact, she's not even denying it.

[Michael Cole]
Fandango won against the man that tried to put the moves on her, of course she'd be happy about that.


Sashaying out from the back first, is none other than the woman that's practically responsible for this angry reaction right now, Layla. But being a professional, she doesn't let the noise take her off her game. As graceful as ever she spins into place before moving with the groove of the music. She's smiling, but she's the only one smiling right now, and it's a wonder that she can still smile after the amount of boos that are pouring in nonstop. But she's been hated once before, perhaps she's built up a thick skin to it, still this is freaking loud Chicago is not a happy camper.  




Right on cue, from the back left of Layla, is Fandango making his way out from the back. But, unusually enough, and this is saying a lot because we're referring to Fandango, he's crawling out. Layla motions with her arm for all to follow head lead and view the victor of Sunday, but all anyone can focus on, besides hating him, is the fact that he's crawling, why? Will we ever know? Odds are, no it's just another day in the life of Fandango and only he knows why he's crawling to his lady. On all four still, Fandango pops up onto his knees like a dog, complete with a set of begging paws that sway back and forth. Layla channels Fandango herself, moving her hands like her own set of paws, playfully hitting his. Fandango then starts to rise up, his hand gliding up his chest, all the way up to his mouth where he then blows a kiss at Layla, leaving his hand out there for hers to join his.  

[JR]
What the hell was that? I might not know dancing, but I don't know acting like a dog in any world is dancing.

[Michael Cole]
It's called interpreted dance, JR. Gosh, do you know nothing?

[JR]
If that's what people call dancing nowadays, then I don't wanna know.

[King]
It was different, JR.

[JR]
That's basically becoming the norm for this guy.


Standing alongside one another with hands held, Fandango twirls Layla in close, grabbing her other hand leading her in an intimate shimmy down his body, before spinning her out to his other side, and striking the pose they always seem to strike right about this time.




Holding it for a good five seconds, the only sound that can be heard is the still angry roar of Chicago. It hasn't let up since his music hit, and that's pretty damn impressive that this audience is so passionate about their anger that they can keep this up for this long. But while they're not letting up, they're also apparently not getting to Fandango, nor Layla. They're going business as usual, focusing on only themselves, in their own little world.




Once the time to pose is over, Layla kicks her leg up like she were going for a roundhouse, and Fandango catches it in his arm, before bending her back in a dipped bridge. She pulls herself back up, her hand caressing his face as their eyes lock on one another. Layla's hand slides down his cheek, and then Fandango repeats that same motion, softly stroking her cheek until his finally his hand leaves her face as well.  

[King]
You know, I can't help but notice they're awful touchy feely.


[JR]
I've noticed that from the get go, Layla says they're professionals....but I can't help but feel like there's more to it than that.

[Michael Cole]
It's called passion, JR. Dancing is a very sensually driven art form, you have to have passion, raw undeniable passion to tell a story, and that's it.

[JR]
Oh, they're telling a story alright.


As their gaze comes to an end, Fandango frees himself of his vest, letting it fall to the floor as Layla now admires his chiseled body. Thankfully for us it's not an awkwardly long period of time, more so just two or three seconds, so yay for us. Ready for their victory lap, they join hands and raise them up into the air, as they begin their descent down the ramp. The sight of this elicits the boos to no longer become the mainstay sound, no...instead replacing that is an even louder, if that's possible..."CM PUNK!" chant. Over and over, the main they together screwed at Supremacy is shouted, and how do they respond? Well like anyone would in this situation, by smiling of course!





Lowering their arms, it's not long before Fandango sends his lay...day spinning once more, but she doesn't just spin once, she doesn't just spin twice, three times, four times, five times, not even just six times...but seven full spins in a row, it's a wonder she doesn't get dizzy from spinning like a top all over the damn place. Meanwhile as she spun, Fandango could be heard behind her saying his name in the proper fashion, for the crowd that's chanting CM Punk's name, and not his. Clearly Layla's learned from the first time they performed together that she needs to be prepared to be spun more times than a record, and unlike that night she doesn't slip up one bit. Instead she steps to the side after that last rotation and strikes confident pose, while Fandango finishes saying his name to the ignorant, which just encourages the audience to continue their antics.


[Michael Cole]
It's FaaanDaaanGo not CM Punk, I knew Chicago was stupid but this is ridiculous.

[JR]
They're not chanting for Fandango, Cole. They're chanting CM Punk's name in protest for what happened to him at the hands of these two.

[King]
They couldn't have picked a worse time to do that, especially knowing that we'd be heading into Chicago the next night after.

[Michael Cole]
Do what? Win? CM Punk's lost his last two matches, clearly he's just not good enough to stand toe to toe with XWL's best anymore.

[JR]
He's lost both of those matches because of outside interference, and you damn well know that Cole.

[Michael Cole]
Excuses excuses, he lost, they need to accept that and quit treating this couple like this, show some damn respect.



Joining back together, Fandango and Layla reach the end of the ramp, but their reunion is short lived, as once they reach the ring post, Fandango sends Layla spinning again. Though it's not quite as excessive as before, two full rotations later and she's at the ring, where she rolls under the bottom rope, and lies on the mat with her body posed like those ladies you see on the back of tractor traitor truck's mudflaps. Though she looks way better than that obviously, I mean she's the British Beauty, she's classy. Well, as classy as throwing your shoe at someone can be, but hey it slipped off her foot and into her hand, right?  




Fandango hops up onto the apron, standing proudly as he admires the reason he won at Supremacy in human form, and then he holds onto the top rope, falling backwards until she's up against the ring post, where he shows himself off to a crowd that could throw something at him any minute, they're that mad. Finished with the theatrics, for now anyways....Fandango kicks his legs up over the ropes, landing perfectly on the mat before he walks over to Layla, helps her up to her feet, and then leads her to the middle of the ring for their grand finale. Where a lit up silhouette of himself has lowered from the rafters, and Fandango stops just in front of it, mirroring the pose to a tee. Layla drops down into a deep split, her body pushed forward against the mat, her hands clawing into the canvas as she looks into the eyes of livid fans.


[Michael Cole]
Look at them, now that's an entrance!

[JR]
Flashy entrances won't make anyone forget about the stunt they pulled two weeks ago, and especially last night.



They've finished their performance, and while this crowd obviously gives them a zero across the board, they've given themselves a ten out of ten. Layla retrieves a microphone for Fandango, then hands it to him, and he thanks her by petting her head and then clears his throat. He's totally not wearing a vest, get your eyes checked people he took it off at the start of the entrance, obviously that's not a vest on him right now, got it? Okay good, because as the boos and the chants seem to never end, Fandango however is chipper and ready to celebrate his victory with Chicago whether they want to be apart of it or not.





[Fandango]
Cel....ebration....time, come on...da na na na....na na na....

[Layla]
Wahoo!


Not in the mood to celebrate, the boos never seem to end, but that doesn't spoil Fandango nor Layla's "party buzz."  




[Fandango]
Let's all celebrate....and have a....good time...


Looking around the audience with the biggest, strangest, somehow unsurprising grin on his face, Fandango continues to celebrate himself. 

[Fandango]
Ladies and genties...rise up, stomp your hooves, clap your paws, join in me a....celebration...over what happened, last night....



His arm arches over to the titantron, where a replay for those that missed it, plays. It shows CM Punk with the crowd fully behind him raring to put Fandango to sleep, but as he awaited him to get to his feet, Layla had removed her shoe and threw it into the ring, hitting Punk in the back of the head with it, and as quick as you could blink, Fandango had grabbed Punk, and quickly spun him down into the mat, having the "Last Dance." The crowd was not at all happy over these events, and that replay coming to an end shows us that Chicago is even unhappier by witnessing it all over again. Fandango however took that time to admire that moment with his lay...day...sharing a laugh together. Layla moves his hand closer to her so she can say something.

[Layla]
Wasn't that....Faaaaaaan....tastic?


She laughs, the crowd boos, what else is new am I right? This crowd is consistent though, they've hated this since they heard their theme hit several minutes ago, and they still hate it just as much.



[Fandango]
Good one baby, indeed....it was. For I, defeated that Criminally Mundane Punk...and I did it, in style....I promised to daaaaaaance circles around him, I vowed to dazzle him, and I said I would leave him frazzled, and that's....what I did.


Moving his arm cross ways, Fandango feels the beat of his own tune, swaying around before he continues.





[Fandango]
That Punk learned a valuable...lesson last night, and that's.....that you don't....mess.....with the best....because when you mess.....with the best.....you mess.....with the best! He's lead you believe....that he's the best...in the world...but as you saw, he is not. I've traveled across the world, outperformed everyone that's ever opposed me, and your....CM Punk...was no exception. I'm not just undefeated once again, but I....me...I'm the one, that's undeniably....certifiably....without a shalom of a doubt....




[Fandango]
Faaaaaan.......Daaaaaaaaaaaaaan........G-










The roof damn near blows off the building as CM Punk's theme sounds, and every single person, man, woman, or child all rise to their feet because as JR would say...BUSINESS IS ABOUT TO PICK UP! Popping out from the curtain, with a Singapore cane in hand...is a man that's got revenge, anger, and excitement all coming together to create one combined emotion. Fandango's face reminds us of how someone might look if they had just seen a ghost...and right now I think seeing a ghost would a lot less scary than what Fandango's about to deal with.


[Michael Cole]
Who the hell said he could come out here?!


[JR]
I believe the entire crowd that's been chanting his name for a good five minutes now!


[King]
I'm usually quite envious of Faandango, but right now is not one of those times!




CM Punk was screwed last night, and while Fandango and Layla might think this is over, CM Punk strongly objects to that thought! Darting down the ramp, and sliding into the ring within no time at all, Fandango tries to catch him with a kick as soon as he enters the ring....but Punk swings the cane like a base ball, striking Fandango's shin making him stumble backwards as he shouts "THAT HURT!" Layla shouts in anger at Punk, telling him to get lost "loser" which leads CM Punk to take a step closer to Layla, twirling the cane in his hand as he nods to it...and in so little words needed, implies that she can take part in the fun too...her tune then changes, fearing the idea of herself being hit she slowly backs away, Punk fakes her out, swinging it only to stop, then turns back around and rams the cane right into the gut of Fandango just as he had tried to sneak up on Punk! Getting the hell out dodge, Layla quickly flees from the ring, Fandango can take care of this problem himself as far as she's concerned. She didn't sign up for this, so good luck to him but she won't be that luck right now.


[JR]
Punk's lashing out at Fandango with that cane!

[Michael Cole]
Security!! Somebody stupid this lunatic!



One shot, two shot, three shot, four shot, five, six, seven, eight, Punk strikes Fandango with that cane so many times that we all lose count, but you just know that Fandango's remember every single one of them as he's been struck so much he's lying in the fetal position position. Much his hell comes to an end as one last shot snaps the cane in half, and so seems that this torture is over....but oh, it's not. Punk grabs both ends of what was once a whole cane, then begins to beat Punk's flesh like he were a set of drums! Soon flinging the remnants of the cane away, he mounts on top of the defenseless dancer and wails into him with punch after punch, he's going to show him what he's done, what last night has now caused him to deal with. This was child's play, but now...now he's mad, now he's gotten on that side of Punk that you never wanna be on, he wants to hurt you, not just make have a bruise or two, oh no...he wants you to think about this beating for the rest of your days in this world. You will never forget the hell he is putting you through when it's all said and done, and oh boy...do you wish it was all done with way before it actually is.


[King]
Punk's a man on a mission, and that mission...is mess up Fandango's pretty face, and beat a lesson into him in the process!

[JR]
Good lord, listen to this crowd, they're loving every single second of this!

[Michael Cole]
Animals! Barbarians! These people think this is right?

[King]
It's not about what they think is right, what we think is right...to Punk, he's Fandango's judge, jury....and right now...executioner!


Layla watches in horror as her man's savagely beaten....and technically....this is all her fault. If she hadn't of done what she did to help Fandango at Supremacy, he wouldn't be having the living hell beaten out of him right now! Fandango tries to shield himself of the attack, but his goose is cooked, Punk is not letting up, not for a second, not for a minute, he's going to unleash every bit of that anger that last night caused....and Fandango's never going to want to see this side of Punk again once he's finished. Like a shark in the water, he spots blood trickling from Fandango's face, and that just drives him to continue on, to make more blood pour, to disfigure his weird little face even further! Finally staining his knuckles with Fandango's blood, he stands up, pulling Fandango up to his feet, and then throws him over the top rope, sending him crashing to the floor with a sickening thud! But this isn't him being finished...he follows Fandango's corpse to the outside, then begins to tear away at the announce table.  



[Michael Cole]
Hey! Stop that! You're making a mess!

[JR]
This is not the time to rile Punk up, Cole...you're liable to get thrown into the fray if you keep it up.


[King]
You say that like it's a bad thing, JR!


Pulling a monitor out of it's place, Punk firmly holds it in both hands, the crowd going wild....while Layla just falls to her knees, covering her eyes not wanting to see what Punk's about to do to Fandango. He's already a bloody, battered mess, and that's still not enough for Punk. He yells "GET UP!" at Fandango, but he's laid out, not moving  at least not as fast as Punk would like him to be. "CM Punk!!" continuously is chanted, Chicago is loving every single second of this, and just like Punk...they don't want it to end. Fandango claws at the floor, no idea where he is, and possibly unaware to what awaits him once he's back to his feet. He pulls himself up using the table, sees a fearful Layla shielding her eyes...spins around...and WHAM! CM Punk lunges forward, driving the monitor smack dab into his face, knocking him out in an instant!



[JR]
OH! Bah gawd almighty, Fandango is out!

[King]
WOW! This is why CM Punk is not somebody you want as an enemy...


[Michael Cole]
WHAT A SORE LOSER! Fandango won last night, you lost, accept it and move on, this is ridiculous!


Punk stands there, towering over what's left of Fandango, and allows the monitor to fall out of his hand, and to the floor, breaking apart in the impact...Layla looks up, and shrieks with fear, sadness, and worry all at the same time as she sees a motionless Fandango lying several feet away! She crawls to him, an emotional wreck...which prompts CM Punk to show that he's not finished with her man just yet...she begs him to stop, but not in a way that would actually make him stop, she just shouts angrily, stop it you idiot, get lost loser, all of the above that pretty much will get Fandango an extension on this absolute ass kicking....thankfully for Layla, but most of all Fandango, as Punk took a step forward, security finally rush onto the scene, backing Punk away, forming a wall of men that says this is over, you've done enough.


[Michael Cole]
It's about damn time, where the hell were these guys?!

[King]
Fandango better thank his lucky stars that they arrived when they did, I don't know if Punk would have ever stopped!

[JR]
Fandango claimed to be finished with Punk...that he was the victor, that he was the best....but oh boy, was he in for a rude awakening!



While the crowd is booing in objection to security doing their job, The Mr. Money in the Bank throws his hands up, complying with them. He's already done what he's set out here to do, and there's always next week to drive that message that was sent even further...Layla nurses Fandango's wounds, but there's too many to nurse, a cut above his eye, lashes in his skin from the cane, Punk let him have it, and man...did he ever let him have it.




CM Punk's theme sounds up again, and this crowd will be going home happy because their hometown hero got a little bit of justice tonight. Fandango's pushed his luck just a little too far, and now he'll be lucky if he can "dance" next week after the beating Punk laid upon him. The "Best in The World" looks past the security, waving at Layla, before cupping his hands together and mocking the fact that Fandango's out like a light...just like he would have been at Supremacy had it not been for Layla. The British Beauty doesn't look back at Punk though, she's too concerned for the well being of Fandango, as are the numerous trainers at his side, tending to his lashes, his cuts, and wiping away the blood. Punk's delivered a dose of payback tonight, but will Fandango be safe next week? All Layla and Fandango can do is hope, meanwhile all the fans themselves can hope, is that this just the start of Punk's revenge tour.

After a commercial break, the camera moves backstage, where Sheamus is walking down the hallways with the Intercontinental Championship over his shoulder. After a moment, he is met with an official who stops him.

Official:
Hey kid, just want to tell you that you did good last week.

Sheamus tilts his head, then grabs the official by the collar.

Sheamus:
What did you just say, fella?

Official:
Y-y-you did great last week, Sheamus! That's all I wanted to say!

Sheamus:
No, you called me something. What did you call me?

Official:
I didn't call y-

Sheamus slams the official up against a nearby wall. He closes in on his face, and starts to snarl his next words.

Sheamus:
Stop. Lying. Why did you call me a kid?

The official starts stammering in fear.

Official:
I-I-I didn't mean t-

Sheamus lets go of the official.

Sheamus:
I am not a "kid". I am a KING. This time you're getting off lucky, next time, you'll be thankful if you end up on a stretcher!

Sheamus walks away, and deeper into the hallways, runs into Matt Striker.

Matt Striker:
My apologies, Sheamus, but I need to ask you a few questions for the sake of the XWL Universe.

Sheamus hesitates at first, but then he nods his head.



Matt Striker:
At Supremacy, you managed to overcome the odds and defeat Johnny Gargano after the rest of his group attempted to assault you and make sure that he would have an easier time trying to take your title. How did you manage to do the impossible?

Sheamus:
Ya see, fella, I knew I was coming into Supremacy ready to kick some arse. I came in there knowing that Gargano's bandits would try to come in and take my title, my claim to this kingdom! But it didn't work out so well for them, because I knew it was coming, and once Gargano realized that Ted and Tomko were taken out, I did what I did best. I beat that peasant down like I did no other, and I still managed to keep my Intercontinental Championship in the process. He can cry all he wants about how he was either screwed over, or how he wasn't ready, it doesn't matter! He can make up all the excuses he wants, but despite what he told everyone, in his mind, he knew that he couldn't take on The Celtic Warrior in a fair battle, and he paid the price! I'm just saddened at the fact that he didn't wind up on a stretcher afterwards. But it doesn't matter,the peasants are gone and King Sheamus is still the monarch of this company!

Matt Striker:
Digital Decision is coming very soon. Do you have any predictions as to who could challenge for your title?



Sheamus:
You know what, Matt? That's a very good question. I think the only man who could be capable of defeating The Celtic Warrior for the Intercontinental Championship would be.....Hmm.....Ah, yes! See, Matt, if you could have a cloning machine and clone myself so that the clone would have my exact personality and physical traits, then that would be the only man who could take my title. Then again, it is still technically me, so to really answer your question, I don't have any predictions, because nobody can take this title from me. You can take a tank and run me over with it, but I'll still be standing! Just remember, if you mess with The Celtic Warrior, you mess with the best! Nobody will stop me!

Sheamus leaves as Matt Striker looks dumbfounded. The segment ends.

As Breakdown still somehow continues Madison Eagles to sat backstage as an Interview approaches her and starts to ask the Diva's champion a few questions



Interviewer: Excuse me, Madison if you don't mind, could we please get a moment of your time... Last week at Supremacy you successfully defended your Diva's championship against Paige in a close fought match, but during the match we saw Paige once again target your leg. Now tonight you won't be competing, does this have any reflection on the damage you received last week?

Madison Eagles: I don't really know how to answer that. Yeah, I won't be wrestling tonight, and I can't say I'm happy about it, but there's nothing I can do about it now. Maybe I don't have a match tonight because of my knee, maybe it's for some other reason, but one thing I know is that I'm disappointed to not be wrestling tonight, and I'm disappointed to not be wrestling next week either, but that's just the way it goes I guess. Sometimes you've got to sit one or two out, but I'm still the Diva's champion and that's all that really matters.



Interviewer: What's the current prognosis on your knee?

Madison Eagles: After my match last week I had it re-evaluted, and it looks like I avoided any further injury to it, so that's good news. It could be better, but it will heal. It might take a few weeks to do that, but it won't be too long before I'm back to one hundred percent, and if all goes to plan I should of fine for Digital Decision

Interviewer: Speaking of the Digital Decision, earlier tonight it was announced that at Digital Decision, the fans will decide who gets to be your next challenger, any Diva is eligible for voting so you could end up facing any member of the Diva's locker room for your championship. What do you feel about knowing when you go to the ring to put your championship on the line you won't know who you're going to be facing? Could a lack of preparation be a disadvantage to you?



Madison Eagles: It's not an ideal situation to be in, obviously, but I welcome the challenge whoever it is. I've faced the majority of that locker room before, so I know what to expect from them, but there are a few girls that I haven't faced yet, like Charlotte, Sasha, Tamina, so who knows really? If the fans vote for one of them it could be interesting. I could have to face Paige again, a former champion like Layla. Who knows? But whoever it is, I look forward to it.

Interviewer: And with some time on the shelf, do you think you'll be able to scout the Diva's properly?



Madison Eagles: I guess you could say that's an advantage to this situation, but I'd much rather be in the ring, beside I could prepare to face this Diva or that Diva, but until their music plays and they make their way to the ring at Digital Decision I won't know what I'm looking for. A complete outsider could win the fans vote, or someone who's been tearing through the entire roster. That's what's so great about letting the fans pick my challenger, and it's what makes Digital Decision different to every other event we have to offer. But whoever it is I faced then, good luck to them, because when I'm back to my best, you won't be able to stop me.

As she answers the question, Madison stands up, picking her championship up from the case it was resting on and walks off abruptly ending the interview

The theme of the World Heavyweight Champion rings around the arena to what is now a reaction of cheers, the fans clearly now back on the side of The Showstopper, after his former best friend turned down his apology earlier tonight



Michaels walks out on stage with the World Title around his waist. It's clear he isn't letting what happened earlier, take his mind of his match tonight. Shawn with a skip back in his step moves down the ramp, pointing around the arena to the cheering fans. He stops just near the top

The following match is scheduled for one fall, introducing first...from San Antonio Texas, weighing in at two hundred and twenty five pounds...he is the NEW World Heavyweight Champion....Shawn...Michaels!!


[JR]
This is going to be quite the Main-Event, there are so many factors playing into this match, almost too many to name.

[King]
That's right, JR. First you've got the new champion in a match that will be officiated by his best friend that kind of seemed to sever ties with Shawn earlier tonight when he didn't accept Michaels' apology.

[Michael Cole]
But the biggest factor of all, is that Shawn's opponent is none other than the man that's defeated Mr. Money in The Bank last week, and just two weeks ago came out on top of a match against The Intercontinental Champion. Ted's on a roll that is showing no signs of stopping, and I don't like Shawn's chances in this upcoming match.

[JR]
Let's not forget that Shawn captured The World Heavyweight Championship last night from the man that Ted just months earlier failed to take it from, Dean Ambrose.




Shawn does his usual pose as pyro as always, shoots across the stage. Shawn then hops back his normal stance, as he makes his way down the ramp, touching hands with the fans on his way, showing that the old Shawn Michaels is back. Now at bottom of the ramp, Shawn points down to his World Title. Fans still reaching out to Shawn as he touches hands with the last few fans before making his way up the steps at ringside

[King]
Shawn's task tonight might seem huge, but it's nothing compared to the match awaiting him in four weeks at Digital Decision. Usually I wouldn't bet against Shawn, but his first challenger will be the man that came out on top of a tournament that seven others failed to.


[JR]
John Cena's not been World Champion in quite some time, he's got to be hungry, and he's got to be determined to not let this opportunity pass him by.

[Michael Cole]
After Ted gets through with him tonight he'll stand no chance against John Cena. Ever since joining Tomko and Johnny Gargano to form The Whole Shebang, Ted's been picking up win after win, and it won't be stopping tonight.




Shawn moves along the apron, before getting into the ring. He goes for his usual turnbuckle, and points around the arena before taking the Championship from around his waist, and proudly holding it up high. Shawn drops back down into the ring before removing his chaps and handing them to ringside crew along with the World Championship


[JR]
Shawn's prepared for a fight, but this isn't going to be just any fight, I don't know what to expect, usually having Triple H here as the special referee might be a good thing...but now, I'm not so sure.


[Michael Cole]
Well Shawn can blame his so called "fans" for voting for Triple H, Johnny Gargano should have been the special referee, he'd have been a great official!

[King]
Oh I'm so sure of that, Cole...






The sound of the voiceless Ted DiBiase's theme fills the air, and immediately boos pour in, it's funny how things can change within a years time, right now Shawn would be the one being boo'd and Ted would be the one getting a hero's welcome...but that side of Ted DiBiase is long gone, as his apparently his voice...he lets his actions doing the talking, and when there's something to be said, his appointed voice, Johnny Gargano makes sure it's said. Shawn's focus turns to the stage, awaiting his opponent, these two know each other very well as they've met several times over the years in all sorts of matches....but tonight could perhaps be their most intense one of all. Ted's a man on a mission, and that mission to have some gold around his waist again, and Shawn's hot off a huge championship victory, so he wants to keep that momentum riding all the way into Digital Decision. Tonight is that first challenge, can he defeat Ted, or will Ted's luck once again lead him into a victory?

His opponent, from Madison Misssippi, representing The Whole Shebang, weighing in at two hundred and fourteen pounds...Ted....DiBiase!


All, but especially Shawn await Ted to pop out from the curtain, but as his theme draws on, he's nowhere to be found.

Where the heck is he?

[King]
Don't tell me that confidence was deflated? Did he leave the building?

[Michael Cole]
So he's taking his time to come out here, he's the star...he can take as long as he wants to.


Shawn starts to get restless, circling around the ring wondering what the hell is going on, where is his opponent? But just as he starts to exit the ring, to go and find him himself...some movement is finally spotted behind the curtain....but it's not his opponent that steps out from it, instead it's the "Problem Solver" Tyson Tomko. He's not supposed to be apart of this match, what is he doing? Shawn yells "Where's your buddy, huh?!" but Tomko just stands there, arms crossed, with a smirk on his face that makes us begin to worry...what's going on?



[King]
Uh...that's not Ted.

[Michael Cole]
Oh gee, you don't say?

[JR]
But why isn't it? Ted's the one in this match, not Tomko.


Suddenly the crowd's reaction can easily be noticed that it's changing...it's getting louder, there's shouting...and that's when Shawn turns to see none other than, still not his opponent....but Johnny Gargano hopping the barricade, simply waving at him. That worry in the audience grows, as Tomko begins to take a few steps forward, and Johnny soon too inches closer to the ring, this is supposed to be a match...but all signs are pointing to something else, something Shawn nor anyone else expected.

[JR]
There's two thirds of the The Whole Shebang, but where's the person that's supposed to actually be apart of this match? Where's Ted DiBiase?

[Michael Cole]
Can't his friends come out here for support? They just wanna watch Ted wipe the floor with Shawn, why do you gotta try to turn this into something that it isn't?


[King]
Maybe because Johnny and Tyson are nearing the ring at an alarming rate, and neither of them happen to be Ted. He's the one that was put in this match by Stephanie McMahon, he's the only one that should be out here! But he seems to be the only one that's actually not out here!



Shawn's concerns grow as Tomko nears the end of the ramp, and Johnny now stands on the left side of the ringside area, each member of The Whole Shebang present...except for the inconspicuously absent Ted DiBiase. That is until out of the corner of the camera, we see Ted hop the other side of the barricade, right at Shawn's blind spot...he's fully geared to compete...but judging by the glance he shares with the two men captivating Shawn's attention....that's not what he's here to do. Ted slithers up the apron, standing on it now, as the boos get louder and louder...alerting Shawn of the impending danger. He quickly turns around, and sees Ted, and those fears come to life, as he's now surrounded...there's no escaping...but he's not planning on escaping, right as he turns around he leaps off his feet, striking Ted with a forearm that knocks him off the apron and onto the floor with a hard thud!

[JR]
I can't believe this, Ted's not here to wrestle, he and his buddies are here to ambush Shawn!

[King]
But Shawn's been in this situation before, he's not going out without a fight, and look at Ted, he's out in front of us, I think his face smacked off the table when he flew off the apron!

[JR]
Turn around, Shawn!


[Michael Cole]
Get him!!


Though momentarily caught off guard by Shawn's swift attack on Ted, Johnny Gargano and Tyson Tomko quickly snap out of it and before Shawn even knows it...they've slid in the ring! He turns around expecting them to come in, but not expecting them to already be there...Shawn's floored with a big boot from Tomko, and Johnny begins to stomp the holy hell out of him on every single body part that his foot just so happens to land on! After stomping away for a few seconds, Johnny gets down on Shawn, punching a mile a minute, no doubt unleashing the frustrations that he's got at coming up short in his match with Sheamus at Supremacy. Unluckily for Shawn that pent up anger is being taken out on him, and it's just a flat out mugging!  


[JR]
Someone's gotta stop this!

[Michael Cole]
Get in there Ted, teach Shawn a lesson! Show Stephanie that you mean business!


Michael says that just as Ted had risen up, and he's angry...this ambush nearly went off without a hitch...but Shawn was too smart for it at first...but he's now just being picked apart by his two partners....giving Ted the confidence and the smug look on his face as he slides in the ring...Johnny motions at the battered Michaels, and tells Ted with a simple look that he's..."all yours" Ted smiles...which is a rare sight nowadays...but this is The Whole Shebang's moment to leave an impact...and who better on, than the supposed "man?" Ted bends down, pulling on Shawn's hair, tightly gripping it so he can pull him up to his feet, but as Shawn's up...he's still got life in him! He fires away with forearms, and Tomko goes to attack him but he gets a set of forearms for his troubles too! Johnny grabs at his hair, laughing because he's got him....but Shawn connects with a back elbow to his gut then looks to throw him right into Ted....but DiBiase dodges it, then kicks Shawn in the gut, giving Tomko the opening to grab Shawn in a tight full nelson hold.


[King]
Where the hell is Triple H?


[JR]
I'm asking myself the same thing right now!



Shawn struggles, but he's trapped....Ted and Johnny then look to one another, and hatch an evil plan....a plan they intend to put to action. Ted backs up closer to the ropes, as Johnny dashes over to the other side of the ring...Tomko launches Shawn into the air, preparing to slam him down....prompting Ted to bounces off the ropes, swinging his arm for a clothesline just as Shawn was let go....Shawn falls....but his torture doesn't end there...for there waiting and ready was Johnny running, and catching him with a neck breaker!  


[JR]
Good gawd almighty, this isn't right, this just isn't right!


[Michael Cole]
If this isn't right, I don't wanna be wrong!


[King]
Oh come on, they're not finished?! Somebodies gotta stop this!



Enraged, the audience's boos have become so loud that it's almost deafening...but as King just said, they're not finished....Ted pulls Shawn's broken body off the mat, hooking him for The Silencer...Johnny and Tomko eagerly watch on as Ted prepares to send one final message, a message that speaks louder than words....but as he goes to lift him...

Get in there, John!


[Michael Cole]
Hey! This doesn't concern him, mind your own business!




By the time Cena's theme had struck, he was already running down the ramp like a line backer on the football field. Ted let's Shawn go, and he falls to the floor, a broken man after this mauling, but finally someone's coming to the rescue...sadly it's not his best friend Triple H...but instead his challenger in four weeks, John Cena! He slides into the ring, flooring Johnny, and Tomko with a double shoulder tackle! They stumble up to their feet just in time for Cena to duck Ted's clothesline, and throw DiBiase into the other two, sending all them of them tumbling over the ropes with a tripled thud!  



[King]
I didn't expect Cena to be the one coming to Shawn's rescue, but all I can say is thank god somebody did!

[JR]
You and me both, King. That was an ambush if I've ever seen one, I thought we were going to get a match, but all this was is a trap!


[Michael Cole]
Trap? Shawn threw the first punch, Ted was just getting in the ring for their match!


[JR]
Oh don't even, Cole!



Flustered and foiled, The Whole Shebang are up to their feet in an instant, fuming over Cena spoiling their message. But Cena's got a message for them, he pulls his shirt off, and throws it right into Ted's face, and shouts "COME GET SOME!" But they want no part in this anymore...the numbers while still in their favor, have decreased in their odds, and they've already done what they came out here to do, and that's show that they're not going to let Supremacy set them back in the slightest. All three of them in unison wave Cena off, backing up the ramp, having nothing to prove by getting in there with John Cena. Cena's attention then turns to Shawn, who he kneels down beside, checking on him making sure he's okay after that ambush...obviously he's sorry he couldn't have got out here sooner, but luckily he saved Shawn before things got even worse. Shawn's not quite sure what to think, his best friend wasn't the one that saved him...his challenger was...Cena quickly helps Shawn up to his feet, throwing his arm over his shoulder, just as a the referee enters the ring with Shawn's title in hand. Cena interjects himself in the exchange, grabbing the title...holding it for a moment, before giving it to Shawn himself, and saying "Here you go champ" Shawn accepts it, bruised and battered, but not beaten...he leaves John's side and nears the ropes, raising his title high, and showing them that while they may have assaulted him, he's still the one with the gold, not them...Johnny, Ted, and Tyson stare back at Shawn and John, who both look ready for a fight....but the other three don't feel the same. This stare down concludes Breakdown, as champion and challenger come together to leaves us with a lot of questions at the end of the show.
