XWL Breakdown: 6/13/2014 - 6/20/2014

The opening video package plays to signal Breakdown is on the air. The video comes to an end as Breakdown is now at ringside.



Pyro shoots across the stage as the fans are all on their feet in excitement of the upcoming show. The camera pans around the arena showing fans' signs for their favourite superstars and divas, and just the pure excitement, the camera then cuts to ringside as Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are sat in their regular position at their announce table.

Good evening, everybody and welcome to Breakdown! What an exciting show we have for you tonight. We are just hours removed from a history making Pay-Per View...Supremacy!

[Michael Cole]
That's right, JR. We saw some great battles last night and it all kicked off when Sheamus defeated Johnny Gargano to retain the Intercontinental Championship. It was only a month ago when Sheamus was finally crowned Intercontinental Champion after the controversy of Final Stand, but last night Sheamus proved it was no fluke, and his run of dominance continued.

[Jerry Lawler]
Not only that but the Divas were in action last night, Cole! We saw Madison Eagles defeat the same diva she cashed in Money in the Bank on...Paige! But not only that,we also saw...



The talking from Jerry Lawler comes to a halt as a very familiar theme hits across the arena.








And we're starting this episode of Breakdown with a bang as it's the theme of the new World Champion...The Heartbreak Kid...Shawn Michaels! The crowd jump up and give a mixed reaction to Shawn Michaels. The crowd is more forgiving than the Canadian crowd on Breakdown last week but it seems some of them still haven't forgiven Shawn for his actions two weeks ago.



Shawn Michaels hops out from behind the curtain with the World Championship over his shoulder, it almost appears like the old Shawn Michaels is back compared to Breakdown last week.

Speaking of champions, here is the new World Heavyweight Champion!

[Michael Cole]
Well after Vince McMahon was successful in putting an end to D-Generation X last night you could say it backfired as one of those men, walked out of Supremacy the World Champion.  Although this could be an acceptable sacrifice having succeeded in splitting up the group.

[Jerry Lawler]
Shawn proved the doubters wrong last night, when he once again pinned Dean Ambrose to win the World Championship. Whilst I don't agree with his actions two weeks ago, last night it was perhaps worth it for The Showstopper who has once again reached the top of the mountain.



Shawn Michaels holds out the championship and spins around showing off his newly won Championship. The skip in Michaels' step is back as he places the title back over his shoulder.



HBK stops middle of the ramp and taunts for the fans as his typical pyro shoots across the stage. He pops back to his feet as he makes his way down the ramp. Some fans are still wanting to show their appreciation for Shawn by applauding the World Champ.



He makes his way up the ringside steps, proudly showing the World Championship over his shoulder. Shawn enters the ring, and once again spins around with the World Championship over his shoulder. The music dies down, as the lights turn back to normal. Shawn is stood in centre of the ring with the title over his shoulder and now a microphone in hand.



Shawn waits as the mixed reaction from the crowd is still going.

These fans are split right down the middle with their opinions of this man right now.

Last night I achieved something, I never thought I would achieve again. It was just a year ago when I was at rock bottom, I'd lost my smile, I'd lost everything I ever had in this business. My reputation was in shatters and my career was almost over, I considered calling it a day. I didn't want to be that guy just hanging around past his prime ruining everything he had ever built. But now...I stand here as the World Heavyweight Champion. What a turn around it has been. I was giving this opportunity...for the wrong reasons but I took it with both hands, I did everything I could've possibly done to once again become World Champion. Last night when I connected with that final Sweet Chin music and covered Dean Ambrose for the 3 count...it was one of the best moments of my career. It felt like the greatest achievement in my professional life.

But tonight...That isn't the reason I'm out here. I never thought something would be more important than this moment right now...but I just have something going through my mind round and round, it's a feeling I just cant shake. Every single superstar that walks through that curtain has regrets..and I'm no different. Everybody knows I've done some controversial stuff in my career..some of them made me the man I am today but some of them... I regret. Do I regret throwing Marty Jannetty through that barber shop window? Personally...You're damn right I do. But at the same time...that helped me leave my mark on this business. That's the thing about this business, it's all about the decisions you make. If I didn't make that decision at that moment, I would not be standing here today.

Every friendship I have had in this business fell apart..except one. There was only one friendship I had that stood the test of this business, it's a friendship that survived many..many bloodied battles..but it was two weeks ago, It seems like I made that friendship come to an end. I made a decision which I've come to regret. I got caught up in the heat of the battle, the will to hold this championship overcame me. I let it do something to me, I promised it never would..it turned me into something I didn't want to be. I didn't get here myself, If it wasn't for Hunter... I would've give it up, I wouldn't be standing here right now.

Hunter.. I know you're back there, I know you can hear me. I want to just put the past two weeks behind us...I got you, You got me. We got caught up in the heat of the battle. But our friendship has always been more than Championships, so Hunter....I'm here tonight for one reason...and I want to do it face to face. So please...come down to the ring.

This is definitely going to be interesting given all that has happened between these two over the past couple of weeks.  And how will Triple H react knowing that his dreams of once again becoming World Heavyweight Champion have been dashed by his former best friend?

[Jerry Lawler]
You say "former" Michael, but it really does seem to me like Shawn is being sincere here tonight.  Although, I might not be the best judge of character...

An intense Triple H appears to a rousing reception from the XWL Universe.  He stands in darkness under a single spotlight focusing a cold stare on the middle of the ring where the World Heavyweight Champion, his former friend stands.



Shawn beckons for The Game to make his way down the ramp, sitting on the ropes, opening up the entrance for his arrival, but Triple H remains fixed in place, mic in hand, with no emotion on his face.  As his music dies down and the lights come back up he continues to focus the steely stare on the ring as Shawn shrugs.  The fans are chanting "Triple H!" over and over again, some even lock their arms in the "X" of DX hoping for another revival of the legendary faction.  The Cerebral Assassin raises his mic and begins to speak, not budging from his spot on the ramp...

Do you honestly expect me to just come down to the ring and talk to you face to face... man to man... after everything you have done to me over the past couple of weeks?

Again, Shawn seems completely oblivious to what he is done and seems like a completely different person compared to 7 days ago at Breakdown and one night ago at Supremacy.

[Triple H]
Look at you Shawn... you have that stupid look on your face where you're acting all innocent like you've done nothing wrong... Let me remind you.  Two weeks ago, you stabbed me in the back and kicked me in the face, leaving me unconscious and in the process ending DX and ending our long... long friendship.  It was the worst thing you ever could have done to me Shawn.  That friendship meant the world to me, but you cast it aside like it was nothing.  Last week, I tried to salvage that very same friendship... I was prepared to forgive you Shawn.  I really was... and you knocked me back.  Then last night, you delivered the final nail in the coffin of that very same friendship by achieving the goal we both shared and we both set out to accomplish together by bringing the World title to DX... it would have been a shared achievement.  Two older lions proving that they still have what it takes to hang with the younger stars and once again ruling over the asylum... but instead, after everything you've done, it's obvious you were overcome by your selfishness and consumed by your own personal glory.after your own personal glory of once again becoming World Heavyweight Champion.

The fans let out a deafening roar of disapproval as The Game looks around at them... the "X" symbols have vanished from the masses.



[Triple H]
The fans know what I'm saying is the truth Shawn... you were obsessed.  Nothing else mattered to you except becoming World Champion.  You had this blank, cold stare in your eyes and I had Rebecca calling me up worried you were sinking back to your old habits... and that's not the Shawn Michaels who was my best friend.  And I'm looking into that ring right now and I don't see him there either.  Who knows... maybe you were in on it with Vince all along?  Kinda funny how DX is over and you're World Heavyweight Champion now right?

A loud "ohhhh!" rises up from the fans as Shawn looks on in complete disbelief at what he's hearing.

Look Hunter, I understand you're upset. You're upset about what happened two weeks ago, you're upset that you didn't win the World Title last night. But we've always looked past that, Hell you once threw me through a car window and I forgave you...because that's just how strong our bond was. No matter what we went through our friendship...D-Generation X...always came out the other side stronger than before. We'd never let something like this get in the way, I admitted it...I let the thought of capturing this Championship get in the way, just like you have in the past. When you hit me with that pedigree last week, it wasn't about the Sweet Chin Music...it was the for the exact same reason I did that...It was for this.

HBK signals down to the World Championship across his shoulder

Holding this World Championship is something we've both wanted for the past year, Ever since you lost it to Chris Jericho... I know you've wanted it back. But this championship is something that has escaped me for over 5 years, Hunter. WE spent the last 7 months working towards this together...But now just because I was the one who won this championship...You're going to let Vince McMahon win. When I kicked you...I did nothing you wouldn't have done and you know that, Hunter. As far as this theory of me working with Vince..You know me better than anybody, Hunter. You know I wouldn't stoop to that level anymore.

The crowd realizes that Shawn is sincere in his words and his expression confirms that.  Their boos and mixed reaction dies down as many begin to even sympathize with Shawn.  Some begin chanting "DX!" as The Game again raises his mic to respond.



[Triple H]
You say I know you better than anybody... but the Shawn Michaels I know wouldn't do the things that you have over the past couple of weeks.  You're a changed man Shawn.  When your mind is set on something, if there's anyone or anything standing in your way... they're just collateral damage.  You'll do whatever it takes to get what you want.  Well congratulations... you have what you want.  You're the World Heavyweight Champion.  But as far as this bullcrap explanation you're trying to sell me or this apology you're trying to give me... you can stick it up your ass!

With that, Triple H throws his mic down in a rage and makes a quick exit behind the curtain.  The fans boo the hell out of him as he exits.  Shawn looks on completely heart-broken.

Well... that didn't go too well.

Shawn may have burned his bridges beyond repair in recent weeks.  His olive branch he extended to Triple H here tonight was snapped in half before his very eyes.

[Michael Cole]
Who cares, Triple H was holding him back.  Look at all the success Shawn is having on his own!  He's much better alone!

[Jim Ross]
Well... looking at Shawn Michaels right now, I don't think he'd share that sentiment with you Cole.

Shawn's eyes are watering up and he finally once again has the backing of the fans as they begin chanting "HBK!" Shawn Michaels takes a few moments to try collect his thoughts and raises the microphone but it's clear the situation has got the best of him..as he lowers the microphone and stares down at the mat. He drops down the microphone to the mat and exits the ring without saying a word, the fans can see how much D-Generation X must have meant to Shawn despite his actions in recent weeks, it's clear that the rejection of his apology has broken the heart of The Heartbreak Kid.

After a brief commercial break, we turn to a dark hallway, where a shadowy figure makes his presence known. Footage of last week's PPV is being shown, with footage of Cody Rhodes' condition after the brutal assault on him by Bobby Roode.



The camera turns back to the shadowy figure.

My face.........What he did to my face is.....unforgivable. I had intended on making a heroic comeback, making sure that the people would get behind me, and support me. Then the brute came upon the scene and ruined everything. Was this deserved? Was this my comeuppance for all the bad deeds I've committed in the past? I don't know. The doctors said that I would never look quite the same again. They took their time and told me that they did the best they could. As a result, I look....grotesque. My wife doesn't want to look at me, and some people think that I've grown into a monster because of it. What must I do? Should I simply retire, never to be seen again?



A small light reveals that the masked figure is Cody Rhodes, clearly injured from the attack he received last week on Supremacy.

Or should I rise from the ashes like the proverbial phoenix, to become stronger and more powerful than ever before? The simple minded man who caused this doesn't know what he has done. If there was a large fire within me when I came back at Supremacy, he's only added gasoline on top of it; A man like Bobby Roode has no class, his reasoning behind the attack remains unknown, but judging from his previous endeavors, I can safely assume that he did what he did so that he can "eliminate" me from the food chain, take me out of the running so that he can take the easy way out and get a head start, so to speak. Well, I'm afraid it's not going to be as easy as you think it is, Mr. Roode. You might have broken my nose and my facial features, but you have not and will never break my spirit. You can go ahead and run around, thinking that you're the man, but just know this: I'll be watching. Like a hawk positioned just perfectly, I'll always keep my eyes on you and strike at the perfect moment. And how delightful it will be once I get my hands on you.....Seeing your face in the same condition as mine after I'm going to be done with you will be a feeling not like any other. Bobby Roode, your time will come, very soon.



The Undashing One:
And to the rest of the locker room, pay close attention. For no longer will you see the Cody Rhodes that you've known for a long time. I have changed, and perhaps, for the better. The neanderthals like Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns of The Shield preach their ideals of justice in this place. They don't know what justice is if it hit them across the face. Tonight is the dawn of a new era, one where injustice will truly be remedied at the hands of what was The Dashing One.......But you can call me The Masked Vigilante, and I have my own moral code. Punish the evil rooting this place, and defend the innocent people from those who inflict harm upon them. If I see that an innocent has been hurt, then those who inflict that pain can expect swift justice, because I see everything wrong with this place. Every week, I see those who work hard, perform their best, get shuffled to the side because some people like to take shortcuts to get what they want......Those types of people will have to go through me. I am The Masked Vigilante, and I am named that because I will to everything I can to make sure that justice is served.

Breakdown comes back from an XWL Network commercial to a shot of Alicia Fox stretching out her long legs with the help of an equipment truck, doing toe touches and other stretches as Renee Young comes into camera-shot for an interview.

A-Alicia...last night you were giving an interview when you were...well, let's take a look.

The feed now shows a replay of Supremacy where AJ Lee made her return to XWL, taking out Alicia from behind, disguised as a cameraman.

Now, Alicia, tonight you go one-on-one with AJ L-

Alicia puts a hand to Renee's mouth, causing the Canadian to go wide-eyed before Alicia grabs the mic, pushing Renee out of shot.

[Alicia Fox]
BUH-BYE! Now, lil' Miss Crazy Train, I know you're sitting there in your little cut-up T-shirt and your Gap Kids extra-small '90s, John Cena wannabe jorts, probably picking out which one of your thousands of converses you want to wear. So sit your ass up and listen good, AJ. You think you can attack me from behind, you think in that tiny, pint-sized mind that matches the tiny, pint-sized brain that you go beat me down and not expect my ass to get right back up? You think I'm too scared to get in that ring and whoop your ass up and down that ring? You got another thing comin'.

Alicia smirks darkly as she sits down on the catering table, picking a fry from the platter and shoving it in her mouth.

You're exactly what everyone says you are, AJ. Crazy...tiny...pathetic. You don't fit in, because you're loonier than your favorite clown Mr. J and your precious Dr. Harleen Quinzel put together. You know what they do with crazy, sociopathic psychopathic dorks like you? They lock 'em up and throw away the key. They put you in a cage like the miserable, nasty lil' rodent you are, and they never look at you the same again. Yeah, you may have had this dream of being an XWL Diva since you and your family had to live in hotels or motels or whatever, you love sharing your sad, pathetic lil' sob story. But newsflash, girlfriend: No one gives a rat's ass 'bout you, your family, your sob story, your cut-up stupid lookin' shirts...I can go on and on, AJ.

Alicia smirks as the crowd pops for the reference to their local hero. Leaning down, she unzips her boot, lifting it up for the camera.

See this boot, AJ? If you haven't before, oh boy, you're gonna be real familiar with it tonight. Because I'll be shoving this so far up your butt...well, I'd say your children will feel it, but no one's crazy enough to love you like that. See ya out there, dork.

Alicia snickers, setting a plate of steamed vegetables and grilled chicken in her lap, grabbing a fork and knife out of the cutlery jar, before her expression turns ice cold.

Because I'm gonna make you regret every stupid decision you've made since you came back. Because one stupid decision? That's all I'm gonna give ya, so before you get ready to go to that ring? You better pray to whatever deity you pray to that you even survive Breakdown tonight, because I'm going to leave you in pieces all over the Allstate Arena.

Alicia begins to eat from the plate in her lap as XWL fades out to its next segment of the evening.

A video begins to play showing a replay of the United States championship match, but oddly enough it’s only highlighting the moments when Roman Reigns unleashed the full force of his power onto Eric Young making the bout seem much more one-sided to those who didn’t have the pleasure of watching the hotly-contested match live.

After that clip is shown, the face of Luke Harper flashes on and off the screen without warning before another brief clip is shown this time highlighting Harper’s altercation with Cole at the pay per view.

When Breakdown returns from a brief Public Service Announcement informing people of #thestruggle, we’re thrust right into the thick of the battle…

The crowd is hot for Young who is pounding away at Harper in the corner, unleashing his frustration on the demented individual after Young came to close to holding the United States Championship for the first time in his career. Young takes Harper by the arm and attempts to whip him across the ring but his attempts are thwarted after uses his free arm to hold onto the rope. Thinking quickly, Young headbutts Harper the follows that up with a sharp back elbow to the side of Harper’s skull, sending his brain rattling around in there.

That harsh strike dazes Harper enough to make him loosen his grip thus allowing Young to shoot him across the ring. Young charges after him and after a leap into the air he drives his forearm into Harper’s face! Harper staggers out of the corner right into Young’s arms who lifts him into the air and plants him into the mat with a northern lights suplex!

Harper kicks out! Learning his mistakes from the pay per view, Young doesn’t let up and continues pressing the offensive, opting to lay caution to the wind while he begins his ascent to the top rope. With the crowd cheering him on, Young jumps off, cocking his arm ready to drive his elbow into the spot where Harper’s heart would be except nobody’s home!

Young scrambles to his feet hoping to salvage what’s left of his momentum by charging at Harper who lifts him into the air and damn near slams Harper with a michinoku driver! Harper grabs the leg for the pin:

Kick out! Harper rolls back onto his feet while Young attempts to get up himself and once he does Harper clubs him with a hard right sending him staging back into the ropes. Harper whips across the ring and goes for a clothesline that Young ducks under then continues running to the other side of the ring. Harper turns around and catches Young who was looking to hit a  crossbody but couldn’t quite get it.

Harper walks around the ring looking to his a fallaway slam but Young fights his way out of hit and before Harper can react, Young kicks him in the gut then hits a DDT! As a dazed Harper makes his way to his feet, Young signals for the end and hoists the bigger man onto his shoulders looking to end the match with a Death Valley Driver!

He can’t quite pull it off as Harper slips off his shoulders landing behind his opponent and with a shove Harper sends him running into the ropes. Young rebounds off and eats a big boot courtesy of Harper! Young drops to the ground but wisely rolls out of the ring before Harper could attempt the pin.


“Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!”

Harper races towards the opposite side of the ring and as he returns he tries to dive through the ropes, but Young intercepts him with a forearm! Young pulls Harper out of the ring while sliding back inside himself. Young takes a running start before diving out of the ring and right on top of Harper!

The crowd pops for that and break out into a chant of “EY!” in a show of support for one of their favorites. They watch as a clearly hurting Young rolls an even more hurt Harper under the bottom rope and goes for the cover:

Kick out! Young shakes his head in disbelief knowing that he needs to end this match sooner rather than ever. Once again he lifts Harper onto his shoulders looking to hit the Death Valley Driver when suddenly Erick Rowan appears on the apron! Young drops Harper and begins making his way over to Rowan shouting out “What do you think you’re doing?” but he gets intercepted by the referee who pushes him back before turning back to deal with Rowan.

The lamb mask toting Rowan hops off the apron and when Young turns around he gets decapitated by Harper who nails him with a vicious discus clothesline!

The boos grow in intensity as Harper rises to his feet without taken his eyes off his pray. Rowan slides into the ring prepared to add insult to injury as he takes a couple of steps over to Young, but Harper grabs a handful of his jumpsuit and pushes his Wyatt Family brother into the corner and he can be heard saying “His time will come.”



The Wyatts are gone and before a quick commercial break, the cameras zoom in on Young who is holding onto his neck as he makes his way up the ramp.

Who wouldn't after what happened last night?? John Cena just came off of one of his biggest wins in his XWL Career by defeating Randy Orton to become the King of the Ring. And instead of a crown, he came face to face with The Eater of Worlds!!

Well I don't know if face to face is the right way to put it!! Erick Rowan and Luke Harper jumped The Cenation leader in the darkness, letting Bray have his way with our hero!!

What do you think that John Cena will do in retaliation??

What can he do?? Against Bray Wyatt?? His best bet is to just focus on his World Title Match with Shawn Michaels, and pray that The Eater of Worlds doesn't "save him"

After the chilling Bray Wyatt family segment, we’re whisked away to an area backstage where longtime XWL interviewer Jeremy Borash standing by with a smile on his face and a microphone in his hand.

-Jeremy Borash-
What’s up, folks? This is Jeremy Borash, and boy what a great pay per view Supremacy was, am I right? There were tons of great matches and equally great encounters, and of those verbal spars one of the most talked about was the heated exchange between Don West and Dolph Ziggler with The Amazing Red not too far off. There’s certainly no love lost between these men, and joining me at this time to shed a little light on this whole ordeal is my good friend, Don West.

The camera zooms out to capture the sight of Don West walking into the shot and right behind him is his long-time partner-in-crime of sorts, Amazing Red. West and Borash exchange pleasantries and a handshake then settle down so that this interview can get started.

-Jeremy Borash-
It’s great to see you, Don, thank you both for joining me here tonight.

-Don West-
Forget about it, JB, the pleasure is all mine! I can’t speak for Red, but I had a blast after the big show and I’m still in good spirits tonight!

-Jeremy Borash-
Really?

-Don West-
You better believe it!

-Jeremy Borash-
That just comes as a surprise to hear after what went down at the pay per view.

-Don West-
Come on, JB, you know me better than that. The day I let clowns like Dolph Ziggler get me down in the dumps is the day I’m no longer Don West and that’s the day I give this all up.

-Jeremy Borash-
Well what about Amazing Red?

-Don West-
What about him? Look at him, he’s doing great too!

-Jeremy Borash-
It’s just that a lot of the Ziggler’s criticism was directed towards him and the slump he’s been on.

-Don West-
Everything Dolph said was a bunch of malarkey and everyone knows it. I wish I didn’t forget to stop at the convenience store to pick up a couple of straws because the poor kid was running out of things to grasp at!

-Jeremy Borash-
For a second you and Red looked to be at your wits end and if it wasn’t for Stephanie McMahon’s intervention it seemed as though fists between the two were going to fly.

-Don West-
If you ask me it’s pretty remarkable that Stephanie finally did me a favor for once. Amazing Red and I can’t be wasting time with schmucks like Ziggler. Don’t you realize that we’re right around the corner from summer?

-Jeremy Borash-
It’s just about a week away.

-Don West-
Exactly! And when the hottest season of the year rolls around I want to make sure that the hottest act in this company is right there in the thick of the action tearing things up and blowing people away! Getting involved with Ziggler will only cool things down and we can’t be having that, now can we, JB?

-Jeremy Borash-
Of course not! So what are you saying, Don?

-Don West-
I’m saying the good times are a’coming, and I’d advise you to buckle up because not even a rollercoaster will take you on a ride as wild as Red will!

-Jeremy Borash-
Is this the end of things between you and Ziggler, then?

-Don West-
The end? It never even began! For a guy who likes to talk as much trash as that kid, he sure has some pretty thin-skin. I made an offhand comment, a throwaway line if you will…

-Jeremy Borash-
I remember it well, I was the one interviewing you. You said something along the lines of Red being the real show-off and show-stealer than Ziggler was.

-Don West-
All harmless fun but then here comes the big bad Dolph Ziggler looking for a war as if I backhanded each member of his family then spit in their faces afterwards! Talk about a cocky prick. For someone who wants everyone to love him as much as he loves himself, if that’s even freakin’ possible, he sure doesn’t take issue with sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong.

-Jeremy Borash-
He really wasn’t holding back at all at Supremacy and I’m honestly surprised that you took all the shots as well as you did.

-Don West-
Listen pal, if I had a dime, forget it, even a nickel for everyone who thought they were clever for questioning why this man beside me isn’t just called Red, but Amazing freakin’ Red I wouldn’t need this job! All Dolph Ziggler has to say about Red is that he let a couple of wins slip through his fingers, meanwhile he got creamed by Adrian Neville, the same man Red will step into the ring with and show first-hand how to really fly!

-Jeremy Borash-
Do you think Red will fare better against Neville than Ziggler did?

-Don West-
What I think is that anything can happen, JB. I’m not going to stand here and guarantee anything because I didn’t think that D-Generation X would break up, I didn’t think one of them would walk away with the World Heavyweight championship and all that goes to show is that anything can happen.

West turns to look at Red and a smile appears on his face.

-Don West-
But to answer your question, I do think Red has what it takes to keep Neville down for the three-count. Neville is no slouch and I know he’s going to be looking to send a message after what went down with Bo Dallas, but I hope he’s listening right now because I want him to hear me when I scream out loud and clear that Amazing Red will be a doormat for nobody! Red is going to go out there and fight the battle of his life and leave everything out inside of that ring just as he does every match!

JB raises his microphone to ask West another question, but West holds up his finger so that he can continue getting this off his chest.

-Don West-
I know exactly what you’re going to say, JB, and I want you to hear me out because I know it’s the same thing on the tips of the tongues of all the naysayers like Ziggler: “But Don, if Red is fighting as hard as you say he is, then why doesn’t he have the wins to show for it?” What they don’t realize is that that’s a question that can’t be answered.

-Jeremy Borash-
What do you mean?

-Don West-
There are things that happen in this life that can’t be explained, especially in the sports world. Why did the Spurs lose to the Heat last year? Why did Silva lose to Weidman? Why did the Yankees drop four straight against the Red Sox? I don’t know, JB! Nobody does! These are things that just happen and all we can do is be bystanders as the fates have their way with us. Sometimes the best have an off-night and they pay for it. Sometimes the best just can’t find a way to pull it off.

-Jeremy Borash-
How will you manage to turn things around? The people are dying to see Amazing Red have something to show for his efforts but the pieces just aren’t falling into place.

-Don West-
This isn’t something you can rush, pal, sometimes you just have to go with the flow. Now don’t get me wrong, Amazing Red isn’t just sitting on his backside praying to the wrestling deities that be to throw him a bone. No, he studies the tapes, he practices his game so that his moves tirelessly so that they’re as crisply and flawlessly executed as they’ve ever been!

-Jeremy Borash-
Would you say that Red still deserves to be called Amazing then despite his recent shortcomings?

-Don West-
Are you kidding me? That one is a no-brainer and I’m not just saying that as his official promoter. I’m not saying that as a friend either. I’m saying that as one of this guy’s biggest fans ever since he stepped first stepped into a TNA ring way back then. I knew that he was special while he was still trying to figure himself out yesterday, and I still believe it today and I will do everything I can to see to it that he achieves what his potential demands of his tomorrow.

-Jeremy Borash-
Before I let you go Don, I just want to change gears because a lot of people want to know about the state of The West Side Army. What’s going on with the group right now.

-Don West-
I’ll answer that by saying this: as it stands right now Amazing Red is the only one who hasn’t walked away from me and if the rest come around and come back? Fine. If a new face wants to march by our side? Fine. If it’s just the two of us against the world from here on out? Well that’s fine too. The faces may not be the same as they were last year, but there’s one thing that hasn’t changed and that’s if you mess with West you’ll go down with the rest, baby!

As Breakdown returns from a commercial break, The Real Americans are seen walking through a hallway backstage, Jack looking ready for his match tonight.

The REAL American Zeb Colter
Jack, you're going to go out there tonight and do exactly what you've done for the past three weeks . . . You're going to dominate! That hillbilly, drunk James Storm is the farthest thing from a REAL American, and tonight you're going to teach him what happens when you make a mockery of our great nation!

Jack smacks both sides of his face and lets out a deep sigh, looking over at Zeb with a fire in his eyes.

I'm ready! I'M READY! WE THE PEOPLE!!!

The REAL American Zeb Colter
GOOD! Good. Now I've got some things to go take care of, you go get ready for the match.

Colter pats Swagger on his back then walks off screen, Jack continuing down the hall until he reaches a corner. He turns and clashes with another person, sending him staggering back almost falling into some nearby crates. He catches himself then looks up with a snarl on his face.

Hey! Watch where you're going-

The camera slowly pans over as Swagger stops in his tracks, the fans can be heard cheering as the other person is revealed to be Stone Cold Steve Austin! The camera follows the two as they both look down to their feet, Steve's beer can laying on the floor, the beer spilling out of it.  They then look up at each other, Jack clearing his throat.

You've got to watch where you're going, Steve. That could have spilled all over me, a REAL American.

Steve cocks his head to the side and looks at Jack as if he's some kind of idiot.



{Steve Austin}
So, what you're saying son, is you want ol' Stone Cold Steve Austin to watch where he's going?

Crowd
What?!

{Steve Austin}
You think I should be more careful?

Crowd
What?!

{Steve Austin}
I should be sorry that my beer almost spilled all over you a real American? Well.. let ol' Stone Cold think about that for a second..

Crowd
What?!

Swagger leans in closely as Austin gets in Swagger's face. Swagger stares at Steve when Austin suddenly says

EH EH!

Jack takes a step back and goes to speak but Austin cuts him off

If anyone should be sorry, it's you son.

Swagger stares and turns red in the face before speaking

I-I should be sorry? Are you crazy, old man? Do you know who I am? A TWO time, TWO time, all, AMERICAN, AMERICAN! A REAL American. Unlike you.

Steve has a surprised look on his face as Jack moves closer to him, poking him in the chest three times with his index finger.

And if I didn't have a match to get to right now . . .

The two stare at one another, Austin clearly getting angry.

{Steve Austin}
You'd what son? Do you wanna hit me?

Jack doesn't respond, he just continues to stare at Steve, clenching his fists.

{Steve Austin}
I said, Do. You. Want. To. Hit. Me?

Swagger goes to answer, but visibly annoyed by the crowd stays silent to which Austin retorts.

{Steve Austin}
You gonna stand there with your mouth open son, or you gonna man up and do something ya dumb some bitch. Didn't you say you had a match to get to? What are you doing standing here flapping your gums for? I'd think with you being a REAL American, you wouldn't waste your time on somebody like me.

Jack looks Austin up and down, letting out a quiet sigh.

Believe me when I say . . . This is far from over . . .

Swagger continues to stare at Stone Cold for a few more seconds before taking his leave. Austin shakes his head then looks down at his spilled beer, muttering the words "sum bitch" as the segment comes to an end.

As Breakdown returns from a video hyping Digital Decision, both Jack Swagger and James Storm are in the ring, set for battle.

I've been looking forward to this one, Jack Swagger is finally taking on an actual member of the XWL roster in James Storm!

Michael Cole
What's that suppose to mean? Jack Swagger has shown just how dominant he is in that ring, no matter who's in there with him!

King
Yeah, but James Storm is by far his biggest challenge to date! We'll see just how "dominant" he'll be in this match!

The bell rings and the two lockup, James getting the advantage and twisting around behind Swagger to a waistlock. Jack battles out of it, ramming his elbow into the side of Storm's head. Jack pushes James up against the ropes and then Irishwhips him across the ring, connecting with a big clothesline once he rebounds. There's an early pin attempt but it only gets a close 1. Swagger gets to his feet and brings Storm with him, trying for a suplex but James reverses it into a suplex of his own! Storm rubs his neck, that clothesline taking its toll on him. He proceeds to mount Jack and rain down a barrage of lefts and rights. The fans are behind him as he raises both of his arms into the air, Jack taking the advantage and flipping Storm over so that he's on his back. Now Swagger's raining down the punches, Colter being the cheerleader that he is on the outside. Swagger gets up and brings James to his feet, going for a double leg takedown. Once again Storm manages to reverse it, changing it into a roll-up! 1 . . . 2 . . . NO! Zeb puts his hand over his heart, thankful that Jack managed to kick out. Swagger is pissed, he charges at James who ducks down, causing Jack to tumble over the top rope and out of the ring. Storm rallies, but gets distracted by Colter who's now up on the apron. They exchange some words, Zeb calling James an "UN-AMERICAN!" Storm's not having it, he looks behind him, laughs, then punches Colter square in the face, the REAL American falling like a stone to the outside. Meanwhile, Swagger is back in the ring and uses the distraction to his advantage, twisting James around and blasting him with his signature Paper Check! (Flat Liner) Jack goes for the pin, hooking both legs . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . OH! James kicks out! Jack is furious, he stands up and then grabs Storm by the hair, attempting to his Red, White & Blue Thunder Bomb! But James wiggles free, pushing Swagger back then connecting with a thunderous Super Kick! It's heard around the arena as Storm falls into the pin! But, wait, the referee isn't counting! Colter is back up on the ring apron, waving his hands around and calling for the ref. They start to argue and the fans are in a frenzy. James is still on top of Swagger, but gets up as soon as he sees Zeb once again interfering. Now all three of them are bickering, Storm threatening to attack Colter once again! Out of nowhere Storm is pulled back, Jack curling him up from behind! The referee sees it and goes down for the count . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . NO! Storm refuses to go out like that! Zeb is shaking his head as the referee tells him to get off of the apron or else he's out of here. James, who's now on his feet, charges at Swagger who's holding himself up in one of the four corners. Swagger moves out of the way and Storm crashes into the EXPOSED turnbuckle! Colter is once again on the ground but the referee missed everything! Swagger sets up Storm for the Red, White & Blue Thunder Bomb . . . And he hits it! 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!



Jack rolls out of the ring and is met by Zeb Colter who holds him up, Storm out cold in the middle of the ring.

J.R.
You have got to be kidding me. If it weren't for that weasel of a man, Zeb Colter, James Storm would be getting his arm raised as we speak!

Michael Cole
But is he, J.R.? No. He's not, Jack Swagger is! WE THE PEOPLE!!!

Jack smiles big as he and Zeb reach the top of the stage, placing one hand over his heart and in a clear, loud voice shouting . . .

WE THE PEOPLE!!!

Breakdown comes back from a hype video, showing off the stage which is empty for the moment. Suddenly, it lights up with pink colors and pictures of the GM of Breakdown, Stephanie McMahon.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the GM of Breakdown, Stephanie, McMahon!

The crowd comes to life, most of them booing the boss herself but chants for her still sound out. She comes out onto stage, strutting with the music, enjoying herself. She smiles as she begins down the ramp.

Welcome back to Breakdown ladies and gentlemen! As you can see, our GM has come to address us!

{{Jerry Lawler}}
I got word a few moments ago telling me that she has come to make an announcement.

Well I can't wait!

Stephanie rounds the ring, climbing the steps gracefully and walking across the apron. Roberts heads over, holding down the middle rope so she can more easily get into the ring. Stephanie smiles at him before entering the ring. She extends a hand to Justin, who hands over his mic and exits the ring to allow Stephanie to talk. McMahon walks to the middle of the ring and raises the mic to her lips.

Thank you, Justin, for that wonderful introduction. Also, thank you, XWL universe for being able to make this happen. Through all the struggle and hardships, we are still here. And, may I add, just coming off of one of our biggest pay-per-views EVER!

Stephanie holds for a minute, expecting applause, which doesn't come. Boos are all she can hear as she brings the mic back up.

That's fine, we don't need to appreciate Supremacy at all. I can go with that. But, what I will appreciate is just how great our roster is. However, a few weeks ago, as I was looking over it I saw it lacked something. See my father, the man who owns this company, always had an eye for talent. Even during his events in other companies, he always had this, bigger idea almost. He saw potential and gave credit where credit was due. That is always something people admired when working for him. Now, I'm sure you all know the story of ECW and WCW becoming a part of the WWE. Well, this invoked a large amount of, extreme wrestlers to hit the scene. People like Team 3D, along with Edge and Christian came out of their shells and became these, extremists. My father was always impressed with these men who could put their bodies and minds through so much pain that he couldn't help but sign several to the roster of his company.

The other evening, while looking over my roster I noticed a severe lack of extreme superstars, something that many of you people grew up watching. So, I took it upon myself to search for someone who would bring back a taste of extreme. Someone, who knows about it like no other. That is why, I am proud to introduce, the man who I resigned to this company just two weeks ago, Matt, Hardy!



The camera swings to the stage where the extremist walks out onto the stage. He launches one hand over his head, delivering his signature taunt. He begins to walk down the ramp, smiling at a few of the fans before rubbing his jaw. He lets his hand fall to his side as he continues his walk down the ramp.



He heads over to the side, high fiving a couple of the fans before rounding the ring and climbing the stairs. He walks across the apron and halts, turning to the crowd who is chanting his name. He smiles again before entering the ring and turning to the clapping Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie extends a hand, which Matt shakes before asking for the mic. Stephanie hands it over and exits the ring, heading back up to the back as Matt's theme plays. He heads to the center of the ring and looks out to the crowd, bringing the mic up to his lips.

Let me go on record saying, this feeling, is just awesome.

The pauses, allowing the crowd to cheer loudly before he waves them to be quiet.

You guys just have no idea how it feels to be able to step into a ring with an ovation like that. But then again, people around here must get that every week. I mean, we are in XWL, aren't we?

The crowd begins a "YES!" chant.

It's been a while though. The last time I was here, and I mean, really here. When I was a full, active part of the roster was when Joey Ryan was the world champion. Now, I don't even think he is still employed. But that's the past and this, this is the present. Speaking of which, I need to thank the person who brought me back here tonight, Stephanie McMahon. Though, many people think poorly of her, she is the one who brought me here so I need to give credit where credit is due.

Stephanie also mentioned something about being extreme. She spoke about how, she was searching for someone to bring extreme to XWL. That someone, is obviously me. She decided me, being one third of the Team Extreme faction back in the day, and also being known for my ladder matches, I would be the perfect candidate. I can't argue with her. When I step into this ring, I let everything go. Pain doesn't exist. Violence means nothing. It's just me and my surroundings. That's how it's always been. When I teamed with Jeff and we came off the top of those ladders, that was what we had in our heads. Do whatever we can to stay on top. Which, is exactly what we did. I've fell off of ladders. I've fell through tables. I've been bashed over the head with a steel chair, numerous times and still, I get up and ask for another. That, is what she means by extreme. That never say die attitude when being hit with everything in the arena. That's where my motto came from. That's why I say that I will not die. So if it's extreme that Stephanie wants, then that is exactly what she is going to get!!!



Matt turns to the titantron, cocking an eyebrow at the theme song of Rob Van Dam. He takes a step back, applauding Rob who comes out onto the stage, nodding his head at the cheering crowd as well as Matt Hardy.

It's Rob Van Dam!! I wonder why he's out here tonight!!

Rob was no where to be seen at Supremacy save for a small hype up video. Rumor has it he wasn't even in the arena!! Clearly he doesn't care about the XWL Universe or this company yet these people still cheer for him??!?

{{Jerry Lawler}}
Doesn't care?? Is that why he puts his body on the line every time that he steps into that ring? Because he doesn't care?? Two weeks ago he went one on one with Matt's brother, Jeff Hardy, and by the end of the match the whole crowd was on their feet!!! And the week before that the whole arena was chanting RVD's name after his victory over the former World Champion, Wade Barrett. He cares about the XWL Universe Cole, he just isn't afraid to take advantage of having a night off!! Can you blame him??

Rob begins to walk down the ramp, high fiveing the fans as he goes. He stops at the foot of the ramp and does is R-V-D taunt as the crowd chant his name



He goes back to high fiveing the fans, one of which hands him a shirt!! RVD looks at it before nodding his head and bumping fists with the fan. He puts the shirt on and points to it so everyone can see the three letters ECW written across it

Speaking of Extreme!!

RVD climbs the steps and hops into the ring. He walks right up to Matt and gives him a high five before requesting a mic.

Man my back hurts!! And don't get me started on my rib cage!! Dude, those Rock Bottoms are no joke!! How many did he hit me with tonight? Three  right? And what, two people's elbows??? You should have seen his face when I kicked out of the first one!! He looked like he just saw a ghost!!! But hey, that's what happens when you go up against one as Extreme as myself, you get surprised more and more every match!!



RVD
I might have lost tonight, and that's fine. The Rock put up a great fight and we had a match which kept the crowd on their feet the whole time!! That's all that I need to keep me happy! As long as the crowd's happy, I'm happy. Win or lose, as long as when they're driving home thinking about the show that they just witnessed they think back to my match and my moves. I'm a show off, and I'm the first to admit it. I love making the crowd "ohh" and "ahh" as I show off my innovation, performing moves that they thought were only possible on XWL 2K14!!!

It takes a whole hell of a lot to impress The Rock, and it takes even more to make him respect what you can do in the ring. I for one respect The Rock, his timing, his ability to entertain, well he's also One of a Kind! And after tonight I respect him that much more. Not only did he shake my hand to start the match, which I think is a huge deal, but well, he also did this..



A replay is shown of RVD extending his hand for a handshake which The Rock slaps away, pulling The Whole Dam Show in for a hug out of respect for what the two just did in that ring.

Now speaking of respect, I've actually came out here tonight to welcome back a man who I hold a lot of respect for. Ladies and gentleman… Matt Hardy!!

Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to be the one to welcome your brother Jeff back, and he even helped me deal with that good for nothing Damien Sandow!! Jeff and I put on a great match, one worthy of the highlight reels, so when I heard that you were signed two weeks ago, I begged, I pleaded, I insisted that Stephanie McMahon book the two of us in a match for Supremacy. But unfortunately she said no. She wanted me to face off against Damien Sandow. Well the thing about Sandow is that he's a cheating, cowardly, bath robe wearing joke of a wrestler!! You know how Fandango says it takes two to tango? Well it takes two to have a great match!! And Sandow.. Well he's far from great, he's actually the antonym for great, and I would go find a thesaurus so that I could find a word worthy of describing Sandow's mediocracy but well, Damien already took all the thesaurus's backstage for his next promo..



RVD
So instead of facing Sandow at Supremacy I pulled a page out of his own book.. I didn't show up.. But tonight I'm here, and tonight is the long awaited return of Matt Hardy!! And well Matt, I just had to come out here to officially welcome you back dude!!

Matt brings his own mic up, smiling at Rob.

Thanks Rob it means a lot that you'd come out here and welcome me back. My brother spoke highly of that match you had with him when I last spoke with him. From what he said, it had been one of his favorite matches he's ever had. But then again, when you get put into the ring with the "Whole F'in Show" you usually have an amazing match.

The crowd cheers for Rob who shrugs and smiles as he usually does.

But yeah, you asked to fight me at Supremacy? That, that would of been nuts man and I'm sorry it didn't get booked for that night. But, I got an idea. Stephanie asked me to try and bring what I know about being extreme to the table. Why not bring what I know, against an ECW original? Someone who lives to be extreme! Someone, by the name of Rob Van Dam.

Rob begins nodding, loving where this is going.

How about this Rob... In a months time, at Digital Decision, we put our bodies on the line in one of three matches, each of which having some kind of extreme aspect to them. Matt Hardy versus Rob Van Dam at Digital Decision. What do you say?

What do I say??!? Well I say that come Digital Decision you're going to be changing your accomplishments from soon to come to Match of the PPV!!

RVD and Hardy shake hands as the crowd cheers!!

Oh boy…

RVD and Hardy stare towards the stage as Sandow's theme plays. The crowd's boos toward Sandow's theme grow ten fold as they see the Intellectual Savior himself slide into the ring behind RVD and Hardy!!

Look out!!

Sandow takes RVD down with a huge elbow to the back of the head!! He swings at Hardy next, still upset about what Jeff did to him two weeks ago, but Matt is able to duck the punch and answer back with one of his own!! And another!! And another!! He backs Sandow against the ropes before backing up!! RVD is on his feet now and both him and Hardy charge, taking Sandow over the ropes with a double clothesline!! The crowd goes wild as RVD holds Hardy's hand high in the air as Sandow is forced to make a retreat up the ramp, for the second time in two weeks having his well planned attack towards RVD foiled by a Hardy!!

Breakdown returns from commercial break, cameras fading in from a black screen as we are seen backstage in one of the many corridors. In the distance AJ is seen walking, doing something on her phone as a cameraman and interview catch up to her.



[Interviewer]
Excuse me, AJ. If you wouldn't mind could yo-



[AJ Lee]
Save your breath, I think I can already guess what you're going to ask me. You and everyone else wanna know why I did what I did at Supremacy, right? You wanna know why I took time out of my day to blindside Alicia Fox, even though we have no previous grudges against one another, right? I'm right, aren't I? Don't answer that, I know I am because of course that's what everyone wants to know. And I feel like I’ve read it all, from the stupidest to even the somewhat stupid theory's people tend to throw out of their mouths. The most ridiculous one being AJ Lee attacking Alicia Fox for copying the general idea of being “crazy” which lemme tell you now… I’m not crazy, so don’t even think that.

AJ paused for a second as the look on her faced showed it all: she was serious, she didn’t want people to even say that, let alone think about it. Mere seconds later the corners of her lips turned back up into the same smile she had on just seconds ago, as if nothing had even changed.



[AJ Lee]
Now where were we? Talkin’ about why I attacked Alicia Fox? Right. Before we go there, let’s discuss what Alicia said earlier regarding my “pathetic lil’ sob stories” and “cut-up stupid lookin’ shirts.” You know what I think? I think I sense a hint of jealousy, the fact that I actually have a story to tell and the fact that I am a fighter and not a model. You never hear Alicia saying she’s wanted this her whole life, have you? ‘Course not, she wanted to be a model but they didn’t want her and neither do we in this company. She can ramble all she wants about this ”crazy” talk but lemme tell you, that is in my past. I was misunderstood, people labeled me as one thing, and suddenly it was a fact. Which let me clarify, I was never crazy....the people that called me crazy are really the ones that were in fact crazy.    

Pausing as she thought back to the past where she was thrown crazy remarks left and right before shaking the thought away, turning her attention back to the interviewer who stood in front of her.



[AJ Lee]
Alicia Fox can make all her pity little insults, show me all the boots she has and rip-off The Rock’s jokes all she wants, but lemme tell you something, none of that matters. While she can go ahead and talk the talk, I’ve been walking the walk and I’ve proved that by becoming not just a one time, not just a two time, but a three time XWL Divas Champion.  The only stupid decision that’ll be made tonight is if she steps through that curtain and tries to go toe to toe with me because Alicia, honey, save yourself the trouble and just stay in the back. It’ll make my job easier and your job less painful.

AJ started to turn to walk away, the interviewer himself instantly speaking up as the question he was going to ask earlier seemed to still be unanswered, leaving himself and probably many others in a mild state of confusion.

[Interviewer]
But AJ, what about your attack, you never gave the reasoning.



[AJ Lee]
Oh yeah, that. I'll let you know... Maybe next week...

Giving the two of them a smile before AJ turns back around, making her way away from the interviewer while leaving questions unanswered as we fade to the next segment.

Tonight Breakdown emanates from Chicago Illinois, hometown of none other than CM Punk, and you know this crowd especially can not at all be happy about what happened to him last night at Supremacy. After several weeks of mixing it up with the bizarre dancer that is Fandango, he would finally get him right where he wanted him, one and one in that ring. But things did not at all pan out for him, for one key factor got in the way of his all but assured victory. The old saying goes, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and apparently that applies to kissing someone that "doesn't want to be kissed. Because ever since Punk planted Layla with a lip lock, he's been on the receiving end of defeat which she has been responsible for. Once a reformed diva, now back to her old roots, Layla's proving to be the perfect choice in a partner for Fandango, as thanks to her....he's one again undefeated. Heading backstage we see Layla getting her hair and make up done, no doubt getting all dolled up for a celebration later on in the night.



[Layla]
Oh my god, Jackie! Did you see what happened at Supremacy? Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the supreme one of them all? Uh me, um duh!

Layla's laughter fills the air, as we can notably hear the roars that are boos in the background. Jackie just continues fixing her hair, making sure it's up to her satisfaction.



[Layla]
And Faaan....Daaaaan.....Goooo of course too, but that's a given. I mean he is undefeated after all, I did tell you that right?

[Jackie]
You did, yeah.

[Layla]
Isn't that amazing? I swear, he is so...like, so amazing. He's so smooth on his feet, he's so handsome, that little side part he does with his hair just...it really compliments him, you know? Of course you know, you're not ignorant, not like that...that...punk. Ew, I can't believe I had his tongue in my mouth...do you know how many times I had to brush my teeth after that? Seven! One for the taste, two for the smell, three for the hell of it, four for the taste coming back, five for how repulsed I still felt, six for nearly gagging an hour later when I had a flash black of it, and seven because when I saw a mangy, dirty, mutt on the street I instantly thought of him!

Jackie doesn't say anything, Layla was a little...or a lot melodramatic about the whole experience so she just starts brushing her face with some blush. While Layla takes a moment to calm herself by slowly breathing in and out until she's at ease.



[Layla]
People can say what they want, but I'm the victim here. I was sexually harassed in the work place, I am a woman. A strong, independent, accomplished woman and I don't deserve to be treated the way I was treated. Men like him always think they can throw their weight around, have whatever piece of ass they want, but he won't be getting a piece of this.




[Layla]
Anyways, we can't wait to go out there tonight, you won't believe what was waiting for me when I arrived earlier. The most stunning beautiful bouquet of red roses, with a note! It  was so sweet, roses are red....violets are blue...you remind me of candy, and I think that's dandy. From your dearest, Faaaandy....amazing right?


Gushing over the note, Layla doesn't notice that Jackie had to hold back a little laughter there. That made Layla feel all warm inside? Really?

[Jackie]
He certainly does have a way with words.



[Layla]
Doesn't he? At first I thought he was a little....well, you know.

[Jackie]
Weird?


[Layla]
What? No...I was going to say way too good of a dancer for me to ever be able to share the stage with him. But hey, before I was kicking ass, and taking every accolade a diva could....I was quite the fierce performer myself. So I guess once you have it, you never lose it.

Finished with her make up, Layla gets up from the chair, running her fingers through her hair, finding it to her satisfaction.

[Layla]
Anyways, a girls gotta look her best for a celebration, so I need to go get changed, don't forget to watch us, it'll be our best performance yet! I'm so excited, and you know....you should be too, you get to see us dance, what's better than that?


Giddy for her's and Fandango's celebration later on in the evening over his victory last night, Layla heads off to the locker room to gear up in a no doubt glitzy attire while we wonder if a certain hometown hero might stop by with his "congratulations" to the happy couple.

XWL Returns from a commercial break and we immediately head backstage where Renee Young is standing by for an interview.

(Renee Young)
Ladies and gentleman please welcome my guest at this time, Lita!

Lita makes her way onto the set and into the camera's view, she shakes Renee Young's hand and stares into the camera with a smile on her face prepared to answer whatever questions Renee may have in store for her.

(Renee Young)
Thank you for taking the time to be here Lita.

(Lita)
No problem Renee.

(Renee Young)
I'd like to start off by asking you about what happened two weeks ago when you returned. Your first match back in XWL in a long time and your thrown into the ring with the former Divas Champion Paige, as we know you came up on the losing end in that match. I have to ask you Lita, do you feel as though you were thrown to the wolves and that this match was unfair for someone who just made there return?

(Lita)
Absolutely not Renee, Paige is an outstanding competitor in the ring, I was honored to be able to face her in my return match. When your in this business Renee, regardless of whether your a superstar or a diva, you strive to be the best. You strive to be at the top of the food chain and be the absolute best you can be. As the legendary Ric Flair said "to be the man, you gotta beat the man" That statement also applies to us women. If you wanna be the best, no matter what company you're in, you gotta beat the best. XWL is the pinnacle as far as Women's competition goes, the best of the best are here and I wanna be the best. To accomplish that goal I need to be in the ring week in and week out with the best this company has to offer. My loss to Paige which I am not ashamed of one bit proves my theory. I need to get better, no matter how many years I have given to this business the competition always get's better. My loss to Paige tells me that I need to improve, I need to train harder then I ever have before, I need to regain the premium ring awareness that I once had. I need to improve in every single aspect basically, but that's a challenge I am ready for, that is an obstacle that I am prepared to overcome, and I will not stop until I one day become XWL Divas Champion.

(Renee Young)
That being said Lita, tonight you square off against Madison Rayne. Any comments about Madison and her behavior as of late.

(Lita)
I hope she's ready for me tonight Renee. Right now Madison Rayne is living in the past. I am living in the present and I have my eyes on the future and the great things that it holds for me. Madison on the other hand likes to talk about beating Paige while she was Divas Champion and how she should be getting a title shot, I don't care about any of that to be honest, she did manage to beat Paige while she was the Divas Champion but that's the past. This is the present and Madison Eagles is the Divas Champion so in my opinion she needs to get over it and move on. Madison needs to go out there and prove to the world that she deserves a shot at the Divas Championship and tonight she has the opportunity if she manages to beat me. Sadly for Madison I have an important news flash for her, THAT IS NOT GONNA HAPPEN! I will dig deep, I will bring my A game tonight and I know one thing for DAMN SURE, I will not be used as a stepping stone for Madison Rayne. I am not gonna let her get into a position for a title shot at my expense, OVER MY DEAD BODY! The only thing Madison Rayne will get tonight is a TWIST OF FATE!

With those powerful words Lita walks off the set before Renee can even ask another question.

Renee stands there rather shocked that Lita just walked off the set before Renee could get threw all of her questions. With the mic still in her hand and with no one to interview Renee brings the segment to a close.

With that the camera fades to black and the show heads to another commercial break.

*We see a backstage exclusive with Sami Zayn as he enters the scene walking backstage as the interviewer speaks to him.*

[Interviewer] Hey Sami! Could we get a quick word with you?

*Sami greets them with a smile.*



[Sami Zayn] Of course! Ask away my friend.

[Interviewer] Fantastic. First off I’d like to welcome you to XWL, if I say so myself you’ll be an exciting addition to the roster. You definitely made a lot of waves in your debut last week at Supremacy, how are you feeling now that you’re coming down from that big moment?



[Sami Zayn] Well I wouldn’t exactly call it “coming down” from Supremacy, I still feel like I’m on cloud 9 after my big debut night. Even though Paul Heyman and Cesaro tried to soil my night, I’m still standing and I’m still smiling. When I signed the dotted line on my XWL contract I had no idea my debut was going to go down that way. The ink was still drying on the contract and here I was in a scuffle with a guy like Cesaro, former US Champion and one of the strongest men in the world! Paul Heyman sure tried his best to get under my skin but I would never let a guy like him get to me, I’m just as sick of the guy as everyone else and what better way to shut him up then beat one of his top “clients” in Cesaro?

[Interviewer] You came inches away from shutting Paul Heyman up for good at Supremacy, is your goal to get your hands on Paul Heyman?



[Sami Zayn] Aw man I came so close right?!.. But I’m not going to target Paul Heyman himself because Cesaro is the obvious threat here. That’s what Paul Heyman wants, he wants to distract me in any way possible to help his client out. But I mean.. if the opportunity does come up where I could possibly say.. hit that helluva kick on Paul Heyman so hard that he has to have his jaw wired shut? You know I’m gonna take it. I would be classed as a hero for doing that, imagine months of XWL without Paul Heyman talking, I’m getting chills just thinking of it honestly. All I’m seeing in XWL is Paul Heyman, Paul Heyman, Paul Heyman! I’m pretty sure by the end of 2014 he’s going to have so many clients that they could all have a Royal Rumble together so he needs to be stopped..

[Interview] Mr. Heyman definitely has a strong presence in XWL as of late. I recall him saying that Cesaro will fight you but not for free, is there any word on when that match with him will take place?



[Sami Zayn] As of right now I have no idea when I’m going to get the chance to face Cesaro but knowing the fact that it is going to happen is enough to keep me going. I don’t mind waiting to face Cesaro, I’ll let him stir for a little bit by knowing that I got the upper hand over him at Supremacy. I’m not gonna lie when I say I’m still feeling those uppercuts of his but when I face him he’s not even going to have the chance to hit one. I’m setting out to prove that Cesaro is in fact the weak link of this Heyman group. He’s an amazing wrestler, that’s for sure. But working with Paul Heyman is doing nothing but bad, I have a lot of respect for him so seeing him being overshadowed by his manager is rough to see, maybe he’ll realise that someday…

[Interviewer] Some interesting words there! Now tonight you’re set to face Sami Callihan, a ruthless opponent for your debut match. Are you excited?



[Sami Zayn] Of course I’m excited! My first match in an XWL ring, I’d be crazy not to be over the moon right now. I don’t know whether the powers that be put me against Sami simply because we have the same name or not but what I do know is that the XWL fans are in for a treat when I step into the ring tonight. I hope Cesaro and Heyman are watching so they know what they’re in for, action coming from left right and center, you don’t wanna miss this!



[Interviewer] Sami, thank you so much for your time and best of luck tonight. Now we’re taking it back to our commentators at ringside.

[Michael Cole] What?! This little guy is in over his head, who does he actually think he is saying that Cesaro is being held back by the genius that is Paul Heyman? Preposterous!

[Jerry Lawler] I don’t know, Cole.. I think he’s got a point..

[Jim Ross] What I do know is that this kid has got a lot of heart and I respect him speaking what’s on his mind. It’s no easy feat coming into XWL and having two men such as Paul Heyman and Cesaro hot on your heels. I tip my hat to him for sure.

[Michael Cole] You can tip your damn hat as much as you want but it doesn’t change the fact that Sami Zayn ambushed Cesaro last week at Supremacy and tried to lay his hands on a mastermind like Paul Heyman, he’s not even a wrestler, Paul could sue if he wanted!

[Jerry Lawler] Paul Heyman deserves a lot more than just a kick to the mouth by Sami Zayn for the things he’s said over the past few years, hell I’d do it myself!

[Michael Cole] You watch your mouth before the King of Swing Cesaro comes out here and swings you back to Memphis where you belong!
