| They're not only going to be offering a kinectless version of the console in June, but, they're also going to be rolling out the ability to use apps without having to have a gold membership. They've stated that for those that still want a Kinecxt you'll be able to buy a stand-alone kinect 2.0 later on.
I don't know about you guys but, I think it's a great move on their part, as it'll now give a lot more cosumers (myself included) a chance to jump into Next-Gen at an affordable price. It'll take me a bit to get mine but I'm excited for what the future holds now.

You and me both man. Not to mention you don't have to be Gold to be able to use Apps? So many of my friends are gonna love that. Honestly I'm surprised it took them this long to go forward with this plan. May pick up a Kinect eventually. If only for the voice commands but I definitely agree it's a smart move on their part. Should generate a lot more revenue for them IMO. Since it'll just be down to which games a person may want now. | |
