The camera fades in and we see a man leaning up against a cement wall. The man lights a cigarette then puts it in up to his lips to take a few drags before exhaling and looking towards the camera. He begins to speak after coughing

Tyson Tomko
The names Tomko.... Tyson Tomko.

Tomko spits on the ground then clears his throat and begins to speak again this time stepping off of the wall and into the light.

Tyson Tomko
I'm the type of guy who fixes things. You gotta problem? I'm the guy that comes and fixes that problem. Your cat stuck in a tree? No problem. You can't get the jar opened to eat your pickles? No problem. Your girl cheating on you and you want the pig she was with erased? Well that's my specialty.

Tyson Tomko begins to turn his head and look off into the river that is behind him. He laughs and turns his head back around then grabs his leather jacket and straightens it before speaking again.

Tyson Tomko
Riverfront property is a real beauty. You get the great view and also have thousands of fresh water pets.

Tomko sucks his teeth as his phone begins to ring. He reaches into his jacket and pulls out a flip phone.

Tyson Tomko
One moment please... I have a new client calling.

He flips open the phone and hits answer and then begins to speak into the phone.

Tyson Tomko
How are you doing sir?..... Good, good. Well what did you think of uh my handy work?...... Thank you sir, I am good with my hands so if any wor..... Whats that? A new place to venture in?...... Oh you want me to go after that scrub? Well whats his deal?..... That's terrible. Don't worry sir I will make sure to solve that problem..... You have a good day as well sir.

Tomko hangs up then closes his phone. He opens his jacket and puts his phone into the pocket and pulls out a pair of sunglasses and then turns his head to the river as he slides the glasses on his head. He laughs again then walks past the camera crew and up a street. The camera pans over to him walking up the street as we hear him barley speak.

Tyson Tomko
Time to go get my fish some food....

The camera turns back to the river as we see the current flowing and the segment fades out.

As Dead Man's Hand continues the camera continue to roll an all too familiar voice is heard on a microphone backstage causing the crowd to start booing

???: Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman...

As the boos continues to flow through the crowd, the man himself the greatest manager of all time Paul Heyman meaningfully walks out onto the stage as he stands tall soaking in the boos from the fans and he waits patiently for an opportunity to talk

Jim Ross: You can't say you didn't expect this to happen tonight, Paul Heyman has arrived here tonight.

Michael Cole: This could be a huge night for him, later on he could regain the services of Brock Lesnar, how great of an addition would that be for Paul Heyman?

Jerry "The King" Lawler: We all know exactly what Lesnar is capable of, and under Heyman's guidance who knows where's he'll go.

Michael Cole: Speaking of that, his other client Cesaro as we learnt last week on Breakdown has an announcement to be made tonight.

Jim Ross: Heyman certainly knows how to make his clients the centre of attention, and I'm sure whatever his announcement is it will live up to the hype. Love him or hate him Heyman has a proven track record when it comes to getting superstars to the top and Cesaro might just be the next man on that ever growing list.

As the boos from the crowd start to get quieter Heyman raises the microphone back up to his mouth as he starts to address the Las Vegas fans

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 UJ7qnqD

Paul Heyman: And I am not here at this very moment as the former and as of later tonight the once again strategist to THE BEAST! INCARNATE! BROCK LESNAR!

As Heyman emphatically blasts out the name of his soon to be once again client the crowd start boo again letting their lettings known on Brock Lesnar

Paul Heyman: And neither am I here right now as the manager of my best friend in the entire world, the Voice of the Voiceless and quite simply the Best Wrestler in the World...

Knowing exactly who Paul Heyman is talking about the crowd join in with Heyman as he proudly shouts out his best friends name

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 MlLn331

Paul Heyman: C...M... PUNK!

Quickly after saying his name the crowd let out a loud cheer as they transition into a loud yet short lived "CM Punk" chant as the thousands upon thousands of fans show their love for the Best Wrestler in the World

Paul Heyman: But right now at this very moment I stand before you as the advocate to the Swiss Superman himself, the Pound of Pound strongest man in XWL today, the man who much like Brock Lesnar once was, the man who is currently The Next Big Thing in professional wrestling, that man being of course the King of Swing! Cesaro!

As Heyman rants on and on about the conquests of his latest client Cesaro the crowds previous admiration for CM Punk has quickly turned to boos as they try to drown out shameless Heyman's self-promotion

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 WUifFWQ

Paul Heyman: And last week on Breakdown I broke the news to the world that tonight Cesaro and I would have an announcement to be made, and that is exactly why I am out here tonight. But first I would be remissed if I was to not address the travesty that was last week when my client Cesaro was defeated by The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, and quite simply while I could stand out here and bore you all with the facts, facts like how MY CLIENT Cesaro has defeated World Champion after World champion here in XWL, no that would be the easy way out. I will not bore you people by telling you time and time again that MY CLIENT Cesaro defeated former XWL World Heavyweight champion Ted DiBiase just a few weeks ago, I will not bore you with the fact that MY CLIENT Cesaro defeated the reigning XWL World Heavyweight champion Dean Ambrose little over a month ago. I will NOT bore you with the fact that MY CLIENT Cesaro has defeated Former World Heavyweight champion Christian, I will NOT bore you by telling you that MY CLIENT Cesaro has defeated former World Heavyweight champion Edge, I will NOT bore you by telling you that MY CLIENT Cesaro has defeated former World Heavyweight champion Shawn Michaels, I will NOT even entertain the idea of telling you all that MY CLIENT Cesaro has defeated the former World Heavyweight champion Triple H, nor will I bore you by informing you that the same fate was met by former World Heavyweight champion Randy Orton, and finally I will NOT bore you with the fact that MY CLIENT Cesaro defeated former World Heavyweight champion Justin Gabriel. I will NOT do that to you people.

Upon reaching the end of his list of former World champions Cesaro has pinned, Heyman stands at the top of the rant with the boos still ringing around the arena and he stands there with a smug grin plastered over his face

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 NiuxoiS

Paul Heyman: But what I WILL tell you is that last week MY CLIENT Cesaro was the victim of a poor refereeing decision as MY CLIENT'S shoulders were clearly not on the mat when he was pinned, therefore I put to you the XWL Universe that really MY CLIENT Cesaro was never really defeated last week by the Celtic Warrior Sheamus, in fact he was robbed by a poor official just like every single person in the arena that night was robbed of witnessing MY CLIENT Cesaro defeating that careless brute once and for all.

The crowd are mixed between cheers and boos, with many in the audience unsure whether they prefer Cesaro or Sheamus, as well as the highly questionable argument presented to them by Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman: However, it is not all doom and gloom, as we still have the little matter of this huge announcement! And just so we're clear and last time Paul Heyman and Cesaro issued an announcement we together shook XWL to it's very core when we announced that Cesaro, the King of Swing himself had just became the newest Paul Heyman guy!

As Heyman continues to basque in his own glory feeling ever so proud of himself with each passing sentence, the crowd start to let him know exactly what they think of him as they passionately chant "Asshole" repeatedly at Heyman

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 D33Y632

Paul Heyman: And just like that announcement, I guarantee to you that this announcement will shake XWL to it's very core and come the end of Dead Man's Hand the only name of every bodies lips will be Cesaro!

With Heyman slowly building up to the previous announced announcement the crowd start booing him unanimously, showing their disliking of the Cesaro/Heyman duo

Paul Heyman: And the announcement is that as of today it is official, as of today the ink has dried and all is set, as of today MY CLIENT Cesaro is one step closer to where we want him to be, and where he belongs. As of today whoever walks out tonight as the XWL World Heavyweight champion will have his days numbered, as of today MY CLIENT Cesaro is not only the King! Of Swing! But he is the very next King... Of the Ring!

Now that Heyman's announcement has been made the crowd stand their as they soak in the announcement, with Heyman standing tall on the stage proudly knowing that his client Cesaro will go all the way to the final

Jim Ross: That's the announcement? Cesaro will be in the King of the Ring?!

Michael Cole: We heard earlier tonight that the winner of the King of the Ring will receive a shot at the World title, could you imagine if Cesaro goes all the way? Lord knows he's capable of doing just that.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: That doesn't bare thinking about, Heyman's barely tolerable at the best of times, just imagine how bad it will be if Cesaro is crowned the King of the Ring winner next month at Supremacy?

Heyman raises his arm and checks his watch sarcastically before he starts to speak again

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 IfdXdAK

Paul Heyman: And that means when MY CLIENT Cesaro defeats not one, not two, but all three opponents that step in his way, and at Supremacy when MY CLIENT Cesaro is officially crowned as the 2014 King of the Ring he will become the Undisputed number one contender to the XWL World Heavyweight championship, and that means mean Digital Decision you will all bare witness to the first ever Swiss born World Heavyweight champion. But who's the say that my other client Brock Lesnar will be willing to wait his turn. Whatever Brock Lesnar wants, Brock Lesnar takes, maybe THE BEAST INCARNATE Brock Lesnar will make a statement of his own and as his first official act as a reborn Paul Heyman guy is to take what he wants more than anything in the World and that's the World Heavyweight championship. Or maybe, just maybe my best friend in the entire world, the Voice of the Voiceless...

Again as Heyman says his prized clients name the crowd say his name along with him

Paul Heyman: C...M... Punk!

As with the last time the crowd start to chant for the Second City Saint and Heyman stands there on the top of the ramp letting their voices be heard with the thousands upon thousands in the arena chant "CM Punk, CM Punk, CM Punk!"

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 10acf2a

Paul Heyman: Will decide to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and become World champion yet again. Of course we are just talking hypothetical here, but the point remains that at this very moment in time no one, NO ONE controls the fate of the World Heavyweight championship but me and my Paul Heyman guys. MY CLIENT and my best friend in the world, the current Money in the Bank briefcase holder C...M... Punk! My soon to be once again CLIENT, THE BEAST INCARNATE! Brock Lesnar! And MY CLIENT and the very next King of the Ring winner, the King of Swing himself, Cesaro!

Then as Heyman shouts out his third and latest client's name the crowd turn their cheers for Punk into boos with Heyman's focus turned to the King of Swing

Paul Heyman: And that ladies and gentlemen is how you make an announcement!

With nothing left to say at this moment done in time Paul Heyman drops his microphone on the floor and heads to the back as Dead Man's Hand continues

*XWL Dead Mans Hand returns as we hear an unfamiliar theme song play over the PA system.*

*We see many calming images flash across the screen and once we return to the main camera we see Bo Dallas on the stage and the word “Bolieve” stretched across the titantron!*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 3XFwaYO

*The fans don’t give the most positive reaction to Bo as he turns around with his thumbs in the air and a million dollar smile.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 ChP9XmV

[Justin Roberts] Ladies and Gentlemen… please welcome… BO DALLAS!!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 KgYwCwO

*Bo poses as he turns to fans keeps on mouthing the words “Bolieve!” over and over while pointing to individual fans who don’t seem that amused.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 JNhgD0p

*Bo slides onto the ring apron and then stays frozen in a pose with his thumb in the air for nearly ten seconds before jumping into the ring and then giving a thumbs up right to the hard camera as it zooms in on him.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 RaQxEfQ

*Bo’s music finally dies down after what seems like an eternity but the pain isn’t over as he has a microphone in hand now.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 PRzAxuV

[Bo Dallas] From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each and every one of you. Did you guys hear that reaction?! Not even Stone Cold Steve Austin would be able to get a reaction like that out of you, that just shows the power of Bolieving in yourself and others! I mean I knew you guys were going to welcome me to XWL with opens arms but you all blew it out of the water, come on, stand up! Give yourselves a round of applause for being such a great crowd, and you know what great people like yourselves deserve?.. Cookies! Yeah! That’s right, come on out guys!!

*3-4 men in suits come out from the curtain holding trays of cookies as Bo tries to buy the love of the fans, they circle ringside holding up the trays for the fans but they refuse to take any and continue to booo Bo.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 ISVXsRt

[Bo Dallas] Come on guys, don’t be afraid to take one, this is our night! You can sacrifice your diet for one night because this is a celebration! This is a landmark night in XWL, a turning point, a changing of the guard, the passing of the torch, you name it Bolievers! I’m here as a fresh face in XWL to be the change that you have all been begging for, the days of the Ted DiBiase’s, Dean Ambroses, CM Punks, its all coming to a close. Now it’s time for the next generation to step up to the plate and take their cookies. You need to aim big, Bolievers. That’s why I’m not wasting any time in saying that you WILL soon enough see Bo Dallas in title matches, you WILL see Bo Dallas main eventing BreakDown and you most definitely WILL see Bo Dallas in Pay Per View Main Events with World Heavyweight Title gold around his waist. And do you know why I’m so confident in what I say? Because I Bolieve! I say my goals with passion and love, with the hard work to back it up, so when I say it, you know it’s true. Mark Twain once said, “the two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” I finally know why.

*Bo proudly raises his arm in the air and saying.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 W2SB9CH

[Bo Dallas] I’m here to become the champion of XWL and I will not lose a single match until I complete my goal, you need to aim big, Bolievers. Why should you aim for second place? Why compare yourself to someone when you can be better than them? If the wind will not serve, you need to take the oars, you need to make it happen, don’t let anybody or anything stand in the way of you and your dreams because those are the kind of people who take second place with a smile. You must not be afraid to fall, you just need to know that you’ll get right back up and continue where you were. If you go the extra mile it will make a difference, I’m here to go the extra mile in XWL, I’ll do whatever it takes on that extra mile because I know there’s not enough Bolievers in the XWL locker room who will be on the extra mile with me. And let me tell you this Bolievers, there are NO traffic jams on the extra mile!! It’s a one way street!!!

*The fans are sick and tired of Bo going on and on now as they start to chant “NO!” over and over as they interrupt Bo talking.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 XHkXTdL

[Bo Dallas] Now tonight’s a big night for XWL and- hey, what are you guys chanting?

[Fans] NO! NO! NO! NO!

[Bo Dallas] Are you all chanting… Bo?

[Fans] NO! NO! NO!

[Bo Dallas] Yeah! That’s it! Come on guys, louder! Bo! Bo! Bo! Bo!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 BHy44YE

[Bo Dallas] You’re all so great, you’re true Bolievers, you deserve those cookies my friends!

*As Bo continues on now the fans start to turn their backs on him as the cameras can’t help but point it out.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 GHWYp7d

[Bo Dallas] Wh-what are you guys doing? Why are you all turned around? Is something happening? Did a fight break out in the crowd?! Don’t fight, friends, I’m just-

An unusual theme begins to play, cutting off Bo mid-sentence.  This causes the masses to once again turn to face the action, to find out who it is that's saving them from Bo's ranting.  It's ADRIAN NEVILLE!  Cheers erupt as the Jumping Geordie makes his return to XWL after a notable absence.  He can't help but break into a smile as he makes his way down the entrance way with a mic in hand.  Bo actually looks happy to see him, believing that he's there to support him as he beckons Neville into the ring with a cheesy grin on his face.  The fans begin chanting "Welcome Back!" as Neville enters the ring.  He takes a moment to look around at the XWL Universe, acknowledging their warm welcome, while Bo thinks they're chanting for him so shouts back to them "Thank you!" repeatedly.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 12bdA0m

As Neville's music stops, the chants are clearer than ever.  He's clearly a bit emotional about the fact that the fans still remember him despite not making the impact he would have wanted thus far in his career, although the emotion of the situation is punctuated by the ridiculousness of Bo, who continues to thank the fans for welcoming him back.  After all, he's making his return tonight too.  Neville looks at Bo and shakes his head, before raising his mic to utter the first words of his return...

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 V3rTF0U

[Adrian Neville]  Bo... they're not chanting for you.  You're delusional.  You've been back what... 5 minutes?  And already you have these people turning their back on you.  There's not a fight breaking out in the crowd... nobody is buying into all this motivational crap you've suddenly starting spouting out of that big mouth of yours... and nobody cares about Bo Dallas.  And seriously Bo, I would think about getting a hearing test or something because they were clearly chanting "NO"... that's spelled with "n" and "o".  No.  Not Bo.  But it's probably pointless explaining that because I honestly think you would just believe that they're chanting whatever it is you want them to anyway.

The crowd cheers loudly and begin chanting "No more Bo!".

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 JbRw2x3

[Adrian Neville]  Sorry to rain on your parade tonight Bo.  But I saw all these "Bolieve" videos that have been airing for weeks on end, and I just had to come out here and say a couple of things.  And firstly, that is that Adrian Neville is back in XWL.

The "Welcome back!" chants once again begin to rise up from the live audience.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 5hk3dQx

[Adrian Neville]  And while I may not have these fancy video packages to hype up my return... while I might not look like a big deal at only 5 ft 10... 190 lbs... I actually don't look like a wrestler at all.  I look more like a crazy elf man... and with my accent, I bet that half of you are having trouble understanding what I'm saying right now... but despite all of that you can bet your house on the fact that this time around, Adrian Neville is here to make an impact.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 MN63xc9

[Adrian Neville]  I've been in and out of XWL a couple of times and never really left my mark.  This time, I'm here to leave a scar.  People will be talking about Adrian Neville for years to come... and while I thank you all for at least remembering who I am given my lacklustre spells in this company so far... believe me... you haven't seen anything yet.  You're right when you said tonight is a big night Bo.  Tonight is the pivotal moment of my career, where I go from just occupying a roster spot, to making the most of it.  I've worked all my life for this opportunity... ever since I was a young boy growing up in Newcastle, dreaming of the day I would compete on the grandest stage... and now that I have that opportunity, it's time for me to take the spotlight and shine the way that I know I can.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 IzOcDf8

[Adrian Neville]  And guys like you Bo... the narcisstic, self-absorbed kind of wrestler, had better look out.  Because already, I'm surpassing you.  I've been out here less time than you have and my stock is already higher.  These fans were cheering my name before I even opened my mouth and spoke into this microphone... and you want to know why?  It's because they know I have talent.  They know I'm entertaining.  So you carry on with your very small number of "Bolievers" and live in that little fantasy world as long as you want to.  Because I'll be leaving you behind in my wake as I rise to the top of this company and realize my lifelong dream of becoming the World Heavyweight Champion.

The crowd goes nuts as Bo steps in closer to Neville.  The tension between the two could be cut with a knife as they each speak to each other off-mic in what appears to be a heated exchange. Bo now angrily shoves Neville back and takes off his t-shirt throwing it to the ground in a fit of rage.

[Bo Dallas] Just who do you think you are mister?! I'm not going to let you spoil my big moment, do you people wanna see us fight?!

Bo looks out to his Bolievers as they all cheer, Bo and Neville drop their microphones and right as Neville swings the first punch Bo ducks it and rolls out of the ring. The fans boo angrily towards Bo as he wags his finger and starts to walk up the ramp.

Neville's theme song hits again as the fans cheer him on even more, he climbs the top rope posing for the fans but the reaction changes as Bo Dallas runs down the ramp sliding into the ring. Bo preps himself up in the corner and once Neville gets off the turnbuckle and turns around he sprints across the ring and wipes him out with a cheap spear!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 UVJFLak

Bo's theme hits now as the fans give another round of boos at Bo. He lets out a smile and gives a thumbs up to the camera before rolling out of the ring, he begins to walk up the ramp with his thumbs in the air and the smile embedded on his face as Adrian Neville angrily watches on in the ring with nothing but revenge on his mind.

Dead Mans Hand cuts to ringside and goes to the announce table to see Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole and Good 'Ol JR.

[JR]
Well folks, it's now time for what will only be described as a war. The 3 members of the Wyatt Family will go to battle With D-Generation X. And all of this started...Thanks to the owner of XWL himself Vince McMahon.

[Michael Cole]
Oh please, JR! D-Generation X brought this on themselves and tonight they will finally learn the lesson to never cross the boss.

[Jerry Lawler]
All of this started at Final Stand, when Vince McMahon made a shocking appearance to strip Shawn Michaels of the Intercontinental Championship! Since then it's been an all out war, with Vince hiring the Wyatt Family to try put an end to DX!

[JR]
The Wyatt family perpetrated a vicious attack on DX weeks ago leaving them a bloodied mess. But It didn't take long for DX to fire back leading to an all-out war.  But right now before the carnage gets underway, we take a special look ...at the Wyatt Family!

[Jerry Lawler]
Creepy is the only way to describe that and the Wyatt Family.

[JR]
Indeed Jerry, they are known for their sickening attacks but tonight, their opponents have made a career out of having the will to fight and never quit...That of course is Shawn Michaels and Triple H...D-Generation X.

[Michael Cole]
I can't wait for the Wyatt family to finally put an end to this..Did you see that video? How terrible was that?

[JR]
Give over, Cole. Shawn Michaels and Triple H are two of the greatest of all time, they've proved it time and time again and I'm sure tonight will be no different.  Just look at last week, there were 5 monstrous Wyatt Followers sent to the ring with one thing in mind: to destroy DX.  And while they came mighty close, DX once again rose to the occasion and overcame the odds.  In my view, tonight will be no different.

Right as JR finishes his sentence a theme hits across the arena.

It's the theme of D-Generation X!

[JR]
And here they come!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 1_zps0ceca1a2

Triple h comes walking out on stage water bottle in hand, with Shawn Michaels running on behind in typical fashion. Throwing glow sticks into the crowd, HBK and The Game make their down the ramp touching hands with fans on the way down who give them a standing ovation. They both enter the ring, Triple H via the steps and Shawn by sliding into the ring. Both men stand in the ring and touch hands in DX Fashion before taking to a turn-buckle each to pose for the fans. They drop off the turnbuckles and stand in center of the ring.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 4_zpseb2d89dd

Pyros shoot out across the ring as both members of DX do the crotch chop. Ringside crew members hand a microphone to Shawn and then to Triple H as the crowd continues to go crazy.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 6_zps7b814097

[Triple H]
Before we get down to business....We have one question.

The crowd let out a huge cheer knowing what's coming.

[Triple H]
Are you ready?

The crowd get even louder after being asked the inevitable question.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 7_zps1a20ab10

[Triple H]
NO! I SAID ARE YOU READY?!

It seemed impossible, but the crowd get even louder..lifting the roof off the arena!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 9_zps5109c7e6

[Triple H]
And now....For the thousands in attendance...for the millions watching at home..and of course for the circus of bearded freaks about to get the ass-kicking of a limetime...but most importantly...for you..."Dad".....LETT'SSS GETTT READYYY TOO SUCKKKK ITTT!

The crowd shout along with Triple H who is now fired up, before Shawn lifts the microphone to his mouth.

[Shawn Michaels]
And if you're not down with that....WE'VE GOT TWO WORDS FOR YA!!

Shawn lifts the microphone into the air as the entire audience shout "SUCK IT" as loud as they can.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 10_zps2771047c

[Shawn Michaels]
Now you know...This is a position we've been in many times before. Somebody waiting back there to try come out, end our careers, end D-Generation X....But it always seems to end the same. We always seem to be stood here with our hands raised.  Blood could be pouring from our heads...but we still stand here with our hands raised. And it's clear Vince knows that.. Last week he sent 5 people..that's right FIVE! To try take down DX, to try to weaken us for The Wyatt Family....But that just didn't work now did it, Vince? Here we stand...ready to fight..Ready to go 3 on 2 with the Wyatt Family.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 11_zps4a8b97aa

[Shawn Michaels]
Don't get me wrong...they could be a threat..I mean they've caused some chaos before, they left us a bloody mess just weeks ago! But...What they don't realize is that when we're backed into a corner, when we're against the odds...That's when D-Generation X bring out their best, that's when D-Generation X come fighting. Tonight, is no different...tonight Wyatts you better be prepared for a war, you better be prepared for a fight.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 26_zpsa21831fe

[Triple H]
You know what Shawn?... I'm kinda getting sick and tired of this now.  Every single month someone tries to make DX end.  If it's not our doubters and critics, it's Chris Jericho.  If it's not Chris Jericho, it's the Wyatt Family.  If it's not the Wyatt Family, it's Vince.  It goes on and on and on.  Why does nobody but us or these fans get it?  DX is bigger than just the two of us.  I'm tired of saying this too, but it never sinks into the thick skulls of those in the back, so I'll say it again.  So you can continue to try and end our careers, and that's ok... but DX will never die!

The fans loudly begin chanting "DX" repeatedly as The Game holds his mic up to emphasize their chants for a few moments before continuing.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 23_zps5414deb9

[Triple H]
So Vince, you can send five gigantic guys out every week if you want to, you saw what happened last week... we'll overcome them.  You can hire demented hillbillies to try and cripple us... and we'll overcome them too.  And if somehow, someway... you do manage to end our careers?  Just remember, that DX will still be around and it'll live on through these people.  Everywhere you turn people will remind you of D-Generation X and all of the jokes, all of the chants... everything that you hate so much... will stick around.

The chants continue ever louder.  The Cerebral Assassin strokes his beard for a moment, thinking about the day all of this could be over before continuing.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 24_zpsa4c9a6ce

[Triple H]
Now... to be honest with you.  I don't think that day is today.  Despite bleeding buckets of my own blood last week on Breakdown and being battered and bruised all over... I have to admit... I feel pretty damn good tonight.  How do you feel Shawn?  Do you feel good?

[Shawn Michaels]
I do feel good!

[Triple H]
And do you know why that is?  It's because we're two of the best there is.  We were born to make it in this business and we were born to persevere and overcome whatever it is that's thrown in our direction.  Beatings like the one we took last week are just an occupational hazard.  It comes with the territory of being the best.  And now that we're healed up a little bit, I don't know about you Shawn, but I'm more than in the mood to kick some Wyatt ass right here, right now, and send a message to Vince!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 25_zps57424db1

[Shawn Michaels]
And we know exactly how to send a message! We don't need some ridiculous videos playing each week before we attempt to send a message..we just do it. Look at Chris Jericho, nobody has seen him since Final Stand! You beat him so bad inside that Cell, that not only did you finally shut him up, you beat him to within an inch of his life so much so that he can't even show his face around here anymore. DX just gets stronger and stronger... when we reunited at Monsters Bash, nobody expected us to last, nobody expected us to be standing here today and nobody sure as hell expected us to become champions like we did. Everybody that's stepped up, has fallen at the hands of DX and tonight, The Wyatt Family is going to feel that exact same fate.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 22_zps64e86e5b

[Shawn Michaels]
3 on 2, in whatever match the wheel decides..It makes no difference. I will still be kicking their teeth down their throat before Hunter buries them into the mat with a pedigree... We will send the Wyatt Family back to whatever farm they came from and then Vinnie Mac...The focus will be on you!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 34_zpsb1ef9c7a

[Triple H]
And you know how that'll end right Vince?  We've been down that road so many times in the past.  For a self-made billionaire who's single-handedly made sports-entertainment into the worldwide juggernaut that it is today, you're sure acting a lot dumber than you must be.  How many times do we need to embarrass and humiliate you... how many of your "henchmen" do we need to beat... before you finally admit defeat and face up to the fact that DX will just not go away?

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 13_zpse4ef5349

[Shawn Michaels]
DX are here to stay... You can put whoever you want in front of us...But D-Generation X will always come fighting back....DX are here to...

The cryptic video of the Wyatt Family cuts off Shawn Michaels as the entire arena is plunged into an eerie darkness.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Tumblr_mpnmggCoeM1sxheh4o1_r1_400

[Bray Wyatt]
We're here....

After blowing out the lantern the arena is once again drenched in blackness, before the theme of the Wyatt Family hits across the arena.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Tumblr_mpo916BQNc1r6ixfro5_400

All three members of the Wyatt Family are shown slowly making their way down the ramp, illuminated by the lantern resulting in a creepy glow upon their faces. As they get to the bottom they stop as Bray sits down in his rocking chair, he rocks back and forth before blowing out his lantern once again.  The lights in the arena return to show DX are now prepared for the fight.  T-shirts are off and fists are raised.

[JR]
This is intense as it gets, folks...but now we've got to find out what stipulation this will be contested under..

The wheel that has been deciding match stipulations all night is on the titantron and it begins to spin.  After an eternity it finally rests upon...

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 IbuM09zBn5RzNm

[JR]
Falls count anywhere! This is going to get nasty folks.  No disqualification and falls can take place anywhere inside this arena... or outside of it!

[Jerry Lawler]
I can only imagine that the Wyatts and Vince are happy with this stipulation.  It means the Wyatts can do whatever they want to DX and it'll be completely legal!

The Wyatts now move onto the apron knowing what match is about to take place, DX are prepared for a battle and are not backing down despite the numbers advantage the Wyatt Family have. The crowd can feel the tension building as all are on their feet cheering as the Wyatts now enter the ring.... AND ITS ON! DX are immediately on the attack as the bell sounds Triple H and Shawn Michaels landing shots to the Wyatts, taking turns to hit Rowan to try make sure that the number advantage isn't a factor... but it was short lived as a devastating elbow from Harper onto Shawn Michaels is the only opening the Wyatts needed as they now begin to beat down on DX! Harper delivers a big boot to Triple H as Rowan gets onto Michaels.  Bray watches on and paces around barking orders at his minions as the beating continues.

[Jerry Lawler]
For a moment there, it looked like DX were about to take the upper hand early on, but when you're up against guys like Luke Harper and Erick Rowan who are huge, huge guys... well, it takes something special to get the advantage early on.  And unfortunately, what we're seeing right now is what we've come to expect.

[JR]
And their "leader" if you will, Bray Wyatt, has yet to land his first blow.  This doesn't bode well for DX at all.  But we all witnessed what they were capable of last week on Breakdown... whether lightning will strike twice here tonight though, could be another story.

DX are still getting pummeled into the mat by the two bearded monsters, no doubt still feeling the effects of the beating last week despite their defiance on the mic moments ago.  Suddenly Wyatt screams to allow him to get in on the action.  Now that both members are down, he wants to pick at their bones.  Harper and Rowan obey and stand aside.  DX begin to stir slowly.  The Game rises to his knees but is met with a boot to the face by Wyatt knocking him right back down.  Continuing with his momentum and without stopping, Bray rebounds off the ring ropes and hits a big crossbody on Shawn who had also managed to get to his knees.  The boos rain down upon the Wyatts as Bray kneels and holds out his arms, with his hair covering a lot of his face as she screams "Tonight is the night DX meets their demise" as a crazy look clouds his eyes.

The Wyatts seem in control as both members of DX use the ropes to get to their feet just for Bray to order Rowan and Harper to knock them right back down, both men abide by the orders and deliver a kick to head of each DX Member sending them back down. Harper drags Triple H up by the hair and delivers a European uppercut! At the same time, Rowan delivers a powerful scoopslam to Shawn Michaels!

[JR]
Vince McMahon could be getting just what he wanted....

Just when it seemed like The Wyatts were dominating...Both members of DX try to fight back throwing shots at Rowan and Harper! The Crowd jump to their feet and cheer to encourage DX! Triple H manages to clothesline Harper out of the ring! The numbers advantage is down..for now at least. Bray Wyatt sees that Triple H is distracted and attacks him from behind with a forearm to the head!  Triple H falls into the ropes, as Bray delivers more shots... But Shawn Michaels knocks Rowan out of the ring! Bray is now alone with both members of DX...Bray turns around to attack Shawn but The Showstopper fights with shots forcing Bray to back up and try and cover up. But it doesn't work as Shawn irish whips Bray towards Triple H...SPINEBUSTER! The double team move floors Bray, Triple H stays on top and goes for the cover....

1....

But Bray kicks out at 1! Triple H is on his feet and about to drag Bray up but Harper pulls him out of the ring from under the ropes! He then drags Triple H and throws him into the steps..a sickening crash is heard around the arena as Triple H winces in pain on the ground. Harper is now back in the ring as is Rowan...All three members of the Wyatt Family surround Shawn Michaels. HBK realizes what situation he is in and attacks Bray to try and fight...but it's useless, Harper and Rowan immediately attack Shawn, Rowan uses his strength and whips Shawn full force into the Turnbuckle. Shawn crashes into the mat after flipping upside down, the pain on his face is clear to see. A smirk comes across the face of Bray who sees what carnage Rowan and Harper have caused.

[Jerry Lawler]
Shawn's bad back is well documented and it's probably all mangled up after that... this isn't good for DX at all.

[Michael Cole]
This is just a masterclass in destruction from the Wyatt family, taking their time, picking apart their prey...

Triple H isn't in much better shape and clutches at his knee on the outside after hurting it during the steps clash moments ago.  In the ring, Shawn continues to be targeted.  He's been lifted to his feet by Harper and both he and Rowan deliver a double chokeslam to him effortlessly as Wyatt eggs them on...

1..

2...

KICKOUT!

After trying to finish this one early with no success, the Wyatts continue to kick and pound away at The Heartbreak Kid.  All three of them smother him as the crowd continues to boo and rain down hate upon them...Triple H crawls back into the ring but the Wyatts are on the instant attack, stomps are delivered to the body of Triple H by all 3 members of the Wyatts. Bray drags Triple H up and places him position for Sister Abigail...But Triple H spins out of it and delivers a chop block to Bray Wyatt! Some fight is left in DX, Shawn Michaels is now up to his feet...He attacks Harper as Triple H attacks Rowan. Both members of DX getting a bit of advantage. Triple H delivers a knee facebuster to Harper, sending Harper rolling out of the ring at the same time! Shawn Michaels delivers an atomic drop to Rowan which HHH follows up with an high knee. Once again, DX are left alone with Bray!

[Jerry Lawler]
Get him!  Get him DX!

[Michael Cole]
No!  This isn't good!

Wyatt seems to be relishing his position in a 2 on 1 situation.  For some reason in his warped mind, this is what he wants.  He kneels down and begs DX to come at him... and come at him they do!  Both of them charge in with big right hands and begin to pound away a the patriarch of the Wyatt Family with malicious intent!  The two bearded giants Harper and Rowan quickly recover however and return to save their leader.
.
.
.
.
.
The match continues for a long time with back and forth action, eventually spilling out into the crowd and into the parking lot area.  A Lot of blood is spilled, metal bars are used, walls, pillars etc. wreak havoc on the men's bodies.  You're not going to read a full write up so this is just a summary.
.
.
.
.
.
.
There's a lot of near falls, but the match conclusion comes when Bray Wyatt is standing on the hood of a parked car, with Triple H in position to be hit with Sister Abigail on the windshield.  Harper charges at HBK into a Sweet Chin Music and is laid out on the floor unconscious.  Rowan has already met the same fate and is out cold.  Shawn collapses with fatigue, unable to save his friend, but the distraction caused by the Sweet Chin Music on Harper gives The Game the split second needed to free himself and hook both of Wyatt's arm!  PEDIGREE ONTO THE WINDSHIELD!  The sound of the impact is sickening and shatter glass goes everywhere and is embedded into Bray's skull.  Triple H rolls him over onto the hood of the car and covers him as the referee begins the count...

1...

2...

3!

[b][JR]

DX HAVE DONE IT!  WHAT A WAR!  WHAT A BATTLE!  WHAT A FINISH TO THIS BRUTAL MATCHUP!

[Jerry Lawler]
I can only imagine how furious Mr McMahon is right now... what happens next?

[JR]
I have no idea King, but tonight at least... DX reigns supreme.

The Game rolls off the hood of the car, a bloodied mess and ends up alongside his partner Shawn Michaels.  As the referee calls for help and EMTs, the carnage is clear for all to see.  Blood, glass, dented cars, broken pipes you name it.  It all lies among the combatants who are all worse for wear.  But when it was all said and done... DX once again came out victorious.  The screen fades to black, bringing to an end this ultra-violent part of the PPV for a word from one of the show's sponsors...

idk what's going on with the IC title stuff
but it's almost Friday now, so lemme just

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Shellpsho0

-Jeremy Borash-
What’s up, folks? This is none other than JB here and standing by is the man who just barely missed out on wrestling for the Intercontinental Championship, Alex Shelley. Now Alex, that wheel was pretty close to landing on your name there, what was your reaction when it ended up being [no spoilers] being granted the title match?

-Alex Shelley-
It was tough, but I’d hardly call it the worst set back of my career. Though I think we can both agree that if Stephanie spent a little more time lifting weights instead of lifting a variety of pencils to sign a wide array of paper work, that spin would have had a little more oomph behind it and would have done a couple more revolutions before landing emphatically on my name.

-Jeremy Borash-
Well, I like my job Alex, so I’m going to leave you alone on that island of yours.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Shellpsho1

-Alex Shelley-
At least I won’t be empty handed there because while I may not have gotten the title match tonight, but I got a pretty sweet consolation prize in exchange.

-Jeremy Borash-
That’s right; later on in the night you’ll be stepping into the ring against the other name on that wheel in Johnny Gargano.

-Alex Shelley-
Which means that instead of depending on the wrestling gods for all my fame and success, I can go out there and earn my shot the old-fashioned way by getting my hands dirty.

-Jeremy Borash-
That last time you and Gargano shared the same ring things didn’t end too well for you. Doesn’t that concern you even a little bit?

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Shellpsho2

-Alex Shelley-
Concerned just isn’t the right word, JB, because that would imply that I’m worried that I won’t stand a chance in that ring when, in fact, the opposite is true: Alex Shelley is never out of his league and he’s always in his element, which means that I always have a fighting chance.

-Jeremy Borash-
While that may be true, he doesn’t have to out wrestle you or anything, he could just flip the announce table on you again and I’m sure he wouldn’t lose any sleep over it.

-Alex Shelley-
Ever since he did that the last time, I’ve gone out of my way to prepare myself so that it never happens again.

-Jeremy Borash-
How do you practice something like that? Do you just going around asking people to flip tables on you?

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Shellpsho3

-Alex Shelley-
Even better than that. When I was out on the town after a long day of kicking ass and taking names, I found a chick who had a little more to offer than most and I…

-Jeremy Borash-
I’m going to stop you there and remind you that there are children watching this program, Alex. Children who look up to you and admire you. Now with that said, do you feel your extracurricular activities really helped you prepare for this match?

-Alex Shelley-
Aside from now knowing what to do when a heavy object is forced on top of me, my cardio is in peak condition, I was able to skip a day at the gym because nothing beats an organic full-body work out. That reminds me of something, JB?

-Jeremy Borash-
Of what?

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Shellpsho4

-Alex Shelley-
Of you!

-Jeremy Borash-
Wait what?!

-Alex Shelley-
Yeah! I mean, if it wasn’t for you and your quick thinking, I wouldn’t even be in a position to put my training to good use and get my win back from Gargano.

-Jeremy Borash-
Oh, you mean from Breakdown?

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Shellpsho5

-Alex Shelley-
I think it’s time to show the footage so the people can see how you can through for me.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 CZxNlx6

-Alex Shelley-
It’s about that time again, JB. Tonight we’re going to do what we do best and that’s get an unsuspecting victim on camera and let the magic happen.

-Jeremy Borash-
So who is it this week, Alex? I’m kind of hoping it isn’t someone who’s going to end up wanting to break every bone in my body.

-Alex Shelley-
Come on, man, don’t be selfish, that makes for the best stuff. The people love JB in peril. You’re pretty much a bona fide Paparazzi Productions legend.

-Jeremy Borash-
Really?

-Alex Shelley-
Have I ever led you astray, JB? Trust me, I know a thing or two about keeping the fans happy.

-Jeremy Borash-
Well, actually…

-Alex Shelley-
Don’t be a negative Nancy; that was a rhetorical question. Besides, tonight’s subject is someone you should have no issues dealing with.

-Jeremy Borash-
Out with it already; who is it?

-Alex Shelley-
Just a little someone who goes by the name Stephanie McMahon.

-Jeremy Borash-
What? You want to spy on our boss?

-Alex Shelley-
It’s not spying, it’s more like seeing what she does when she thinks nobody else is around.

-Jeremy Borash-
And why do you think I’d have no issues dealing with her?

-Alex Shelley-
You’re a family man, JB. That obviously means you know how to sweet talk a woman and get her to do whatever you want.

-Jeremy Borash-
How will I go and explain to them how I went about losing my job?

-Alex Shelley-
There’s no time for silly questions like that, let’s go out and find ourselves a general manager.

There’s a cut in the footage and when the feed returns JB and Shelley are outside Stephanie’s office and the door has been left slightly ajar. The two men speak in a hushed tone while simultaneously eavesdropping on Stephanie’s telephone conversation.

-Alex Shelley-
Make sure you’re recording every word, JB, she could reveal some company or family or hair treatment secret that we can’t afford to miss out on.

-Jeremy Borash-
Why am I always the one left holding the camera?

-Alex Shelley-
Are we really going to discuss this now, JB?

-Jeremy Borash-
I feel like this is as good of a time as any.

-Alex Shelley-
It weighs like a pound! Besides I need to keep my muscles loose before my match.

-Jeremy Borash-
Is that s… Hold on, it sounds like she’s talking about the Intercontinental Championship situation!

-Stephanie McMahon-
All right, I have two out of the three names, I’m looking for, but it’s been harder than I thought trying to narrow down the list I have to find that last person.

-Alex Shelley-
*Whispering* Alex Shelley!

-Jeremy Borash-
What are you doing?

-Alex Shelley-
Maybe she’ll think it’s a voice in her head.

-Jeremy Borash-
That’s the worst plan you’ve had yet.

-Alex Shelley-
Well I’m not going to let this opportunity pass me by!

-Jeremy Borash-
So you’re going to hope Stephanie thinks some divine messenger is whispering advice into her ear?
-Alex Shelley-
*Whispering* Alex Shelley! *Normal voice* This will work, trust me.

-Jeremy Borash-
No it won’t! Stop whispering your name!

-Alex Shelley-
Don’t tell me how to live my life.

-Stephanie McMahon-
What the—Hang on, I think there’s somebody outside.

-Jeremy Borash-
Alex, I think she’s on to us! What do we do? Alex? Alex?!

JB turns around to show that Shelley is nowhere to be seen and once he turns back around he finds Stephanie standing in the doorway with a bemused expression on her face.

-Stephanie McMahon-
May I help you with something, Jeremy?

-Jeremy Borash-
Oh…well…hey…um…

-Stephanie McMahon-
Are you feeling okay?

-Jeremy Borash-
No… I’m…um, fine… I’m just here because…

-Stephanie McMahon-
Because…

-Jeremy Borash-
…because I wanted to interview you.

-Stephanie McMahon-
Is that so?

-Jeremy Borash-
Yeah, because you see, all we ever get is the woman in front of the camera, but as part of Paparazzi Productions, I want to show the world the Stephanie McMahon behind the scenes.

-Stephanie McMahon-
There’s a reason why you don’t see me in many interviews and that’s because I’m an extremely busy woman who values her time. But since you came all the way out here, I’ not going to send you away empty handed. I’m in the middle of trying to figure out the third potential candidate to challenge Sheamus at Dead Man’s Hand and maybe you can help me out with that.

-Jeremy Borash-
You’re asking me? But I’m just an interviewer.

-Stephanie McMahon-
Well I didn’t say your word would be gospel, but as an interviewer you must come across a number of personalities and I’m interested in hearing who’s caught your attention.

A whisper from somewhere off in the distance can faintly be heard saying: “Alex Shelley.”

-Jeremy Borash-
Actually… Alex Shelley is really the only person who lets me interview him around here.

-Stephanie McMahon-
Hmm… he’s been on a bit of a slump lately, but if he puts on an impressive showing against Adam Cole tonight I may consider him for the position. Thanks JB, now please stop hanging around my office.

-Jeremy Borash-
Y…you’re welcome…?

Back in real time, Borash is shown shaking his head.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Shellpsho0a

-Jeremy Borash-
I still can’t believe that worked.

-Alex Shelley-
I hate to say I told you so, but I knew from previous experience that whispering my name outside of women’s doors gets the job done.

-Jeremy Borash-
Wait…you’ve done that before? I  feel like we should discuss this a little more.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Shellpsho6

-Alex Shelley-
I’d love to stay and chat about the life I live outside the ring for the rest of the night, but I’ve got a match to get ready for and I wouldn’t want to keep my good friend Johnny Gargano waiting.

Agreeing with Krzy as it is almost Friday so here is the writeup I posted yesterday without spoilers of who is in the IC match...

The camera feed fades back in from the last segment and we are seeing the commentary team now. They begin talking to one another about the event so far.

(Michael Cole)
What a shocking announcement we just heard ladies and gentlemen. To recap, Stephanie McMahon just came out and announced that we will witness the King of the Ring tournament next month.

(Jim Ross)
Now for you folks at home that don't understand the importance we have a "King" himself here in Jerry Lawler and he will explain just how important it is for a career here in the XWL.

(Jerry Lawler)
Thats exactly right JR, winning the King of the Ring tournament does wonders for a career. Just look at CM Punk if you need further explanation on that, he dominated the tournament then went on to become the champ.

(Jim Ross)
What we don't know however is the eight participants of the tournament.

(Michael Cole)
Correct JR. We don't know the participants but it seems like this year will be the biggest of them all!

(Jerry Lawler)
Guys while the King of the Ring tournament is great and all lets not forget what tonight is.

(Michael Cole)
You're right Jerry tonight is Dead Mans Hand and what an exciting night it has been thus far.

(Jim Ross)
We have seen a man almost killed in Johnny Gargano.

(Michael Cole)
We saw Sara Del Ray defeat El Generico in a intense match.

(Jerry Lawler)
Don't forget the cage match between Dave Crist and Sami Callihan where Dave Crist upset many fans and defeated Sami.

(Jim Ross)
Don't forget about the matches we still have tonight! Titles are still on the line.

(Jerry Lawler)
That World Heavyweight championship match between Stone Cold and Dean Ambrose is sure to be the fight of the century, mark my words.

(Michael Cole)
Both men hat....

Michael Cole is cut off by the music and titantron of Stephanie McMahon yet again. She walks out on stage holding a microphone as her titantron and music play behind here. The music fades as she raises the mic to her lips and begins to speak.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 588b7d2ff90185762e29fe9c32370af7

(Stephanie McMahon)
It seems as though I forgot to mention one thing whenever I was out here earlier tonight, Here later tonight we are declaring a new Intercontinental Champion but what about next month? Who will Sheamus or Sheamus oppenent face? Thats where this announcement comes into play.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 9d6edc0710ed2b379943e58d1fa73263

(Stephanie McMahon)
Live at Supremacy we will see the winner of Sheamus and his mystery opponent take on in their first defense with the Intercontiental Championship, one of these two men that come out next.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 D20504766d7c3dff6826b38730b0aa9e

(Stephanie McMahon)
Thats right ladies and gentlemen up next is a number one contendership match to determine the next challenger for the Intercontinental Championship. So with out further ado lets get this underway.

Stephanie points up to the titantron which the camera pans to and we see the Dead Mans Hand wheel now spinning.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 ISzcVgB2SolQI

As the wheel slowly stops on a Last Man Standing match the crowd cheers and the camera pans back to the announcers.

(Michael Cole)
Stephanie is just full of suprises tonight!

(Jim Ross)
I wonder who the two lucky competitors will be?

The camera pans back to the stage as we hear none other than Alex Shelleys theme song play! We see Shelley stop right before he walks down the ramp and he extends his arms to the fans soaking in the cheers as he continues to walk. Once Shelley begins walking up the steel steps and gets in the ring we hear the commentators in the background talking over Shelleys music.

(Jim Ross)
What a oppurtunity for Alex Shelley!

(Jerry Lawler)
He has been on quite the losing streak as of late but what a great momentum turner this could be tonight for him!

(Michael Cole)
The next man out the curtain has a tough battle if he thinks that Shelley is going to be an easy combatant.

The camera pans over to the stage as Alexs music dies down. The crowd is waiting in anticapation for who will get the oppurtunity when out of nowhere "Don't Die Digging" blares the arena and out of the curtain comes a limping Johnny Gargano. Gargano stands at the top of the ramp holding his waist and writhing in pain from the war he went through earlier tonight. Johnny looks around the arena at all the booing fans before starting to walk down the ramp. He slides into the ring and looks up at Shelley who is bouncing up and down getting himself ready for the match. Once both men are in there respected corners the refeere signals for the bell and the match gets underway.

The bell sounds and both men begin to circle around the ring. They come in close and Shelley extends his arm out in hopes for a test of strength. Gargaro locks hands with Alex and they begin a test of strength! Shelley taking control in the test of strength at first until Gargano is able to power back and is now in control of the test of strength. Alex somehow begins to power back up but before he can get control of the test of strength Johnny throws a knee to the rising Shelleys gut. Alex is now holding his stomach as Gargano rears back and throws a hard kick aiming for the back of Shelleys head. Alex ducks under the kick and rolls up Gargano with a school boy then transistions by dropping Johnnys legs to the mat and leaping into the air! Alex comes down for a standing double foot stomp but Gargano rolls over onto his stomach and then goes to sweep the legs of Alex Shelley. Shelley hops into the air jumping over the leg of Gargano and then he throws a soccerball kick to the gut of Johnny which connects perfectly. Gargano rolls onto his back while still holding his stomach as Shelley drops a forearm connecting to the downed face of Johnny Gargano. Alex Shelley races back to his feet and runs to the ropes and leaps onto the second rope as Gargano is slowly rising to his knees. Alex flys back hitting a thunderous dropick on the kneeling Johnny Gargano. Shelley rises back to his feet as Gargano is layed out on the mat clearly still feeling the effects of the Extreme Rules match he had earlier. Gargano still does not move as the ref begins to count.

1...

2...

3...

Gargano begins to rise to his knees as Alex goes right back to work once he see's Gargano will not be out for the ten count. Alex aproaches Gargano and before he can grab Johnny we see Gargano throw quick punches to Shelley. Alex is dazed as Gargano rises to his feet and throws a leg kick at Alex which connects and leaves a huge smacking sound going throughout the arena. Johnny grabs Shelley into a headlock and begins to tighten his grip. Johnny transistions to Alexs back and goes for a quick german suplex! Johnny connects and picks up Shelley right after the impact and lifts him up for another german! Once again Johnny slams Alex to the mat hard and instead of picking him up for a third, Gargano walks over to the downed Alex Shelley and drops a knee on his back. Gargano throws two more knees to the back before hitting the ropes as he sees Shelley rising back to his feet but luckly for Johnny, Alex did not notice what Gargano was going for as Johnny hit a huge boot to the back of the unsupecting Alex Shelleys head. Johnny grabs Alex by the back of his tights then pulls him back to his feet before going for a third german suplex. Unlike the other two however Shelley counters and lands on his feet which he is not on for long as he leaps into the air and comes back down hard on the chest of Gargano. Shelley rises to his feet and goes to the apron then points to the steel post as he begins to walk towards it and start the climb to the top rope. Alex is standing on the middle turnbuckle as Gargano kips up to his feet and runs to the corner leaping into the air catching Shelley with a violent kick to the side of the jaw which stuns Alex on the middle rope. Johnny gets back to his feet and then rushes onto the middle rope as well and wraps his arms around the body of Alex Shelley and then hits him with a belly to belly suplex which sends him from the outside of the ring to the inside in a huge manner! Gargano is able to climb to his feet using the ropes as a crutch and the ref begins to count for Alex Shelley.

1...

2...

3...

4...

5...

6...

Shelley starts to move and Gargano who pirched himself onto the top rope with his feet on the middle begins to stand. Gargano leaps and hits a elbow drop which sends Shelley back down to the mat and Gargano rises back to his feet but this time slowches in the corner gripping the middle ropes as the ref begins the count again.

1...

2...

3...

4...

Once again Alex Shelley shows signs of movement but instead of Gargano charging him from the top rope, Johnny signals for the spear in the corner as Alex rises to his feet. As Alex turns around Johnny rushes him running as hard as he can for that spear! Shelley reacts fast and leaps into the air wrapping his legs around the head of Gargano and goes for a hurricarana which ends up spiking the head of Johnny Gargano into the mat. Shelley gets back up to his feet and instead of letting the ref count Shelley rushes over to Gargano and mounts him and begins to throw fast strikes to the face. Elbows, forearms, and just straight closed fist shots are all thrown at Gargano who even gets reopened right above his eyebrow and begins to bleed. Alex rises to his feet and then lifts Gargano up and drags him over to the corner where he begins throwing multiple kicks at Johnny who can only stand there and take the blows. Shelley raises Gargano up to the top rope where is now stunned as well as seated on the top rope. Alex gets on the apron and climbs up behind Johnny and goes for an astro scissors whip! Gargano counters and raises to his feet on the middle rope as he now has Shelley in a tombstone piledriver position! Alex fights back with knees of his own and then Shelley counters with a quick head scissors of the middle rope sending both men to the mat and neither man able to stand! The ref begins to count at the sight of neither moving.

1...

2...

3...

4...

5...

6...

7...

By the time the referee barks out the count of eight, Gargano has already crawled over to the ropes and uses them to pull him up to his feet to keep his championship aspirations alive a little longer. However, little did he know that Shelley was lying in wait, and by the time Gargano realizes, Shelley has already begun charging and the man who hails from Detroit hits a clothesline that sends both men flipping over the top rope and they land with a thud on the outside of the ring.

The referee restarts his count while Shelley stands up and after he successfully threw caution to the win with a maneuver that could have done as much damage as it dealt tot Gargano, Shelley raises an arm in triumph so that his fans can see he has firm control of the match, but instead of cheering him on, they shower the man with boos!

Shelley’s eyes open wide, unable to comprehend the reception he’s receiving, but everything begins to make sense when he turns around to see his old tag team partner Chris Sabin midway down the ramp. The camera is able to get close enough to pick up the conversation between the two men.

“Alex, I know this might not be the best time.”

“Yeah. You think?”

“I need your help, okay?”

“That’s great and all, but I’m kind of in the middle of something.”

“But Age of the Fall…”

“Look, that’s your problem, not mine. I’ve got business to take—”

Without warning, Gargano lifts Shelley into the air from behind with a full nelson, then plants him onto ground with his devastating finishing maneuver! As the crowd’s boos intensify, Sabin shakes his head as he says, “Looks like your schedule is about to clear up, pal.” He then turns, without even so much as a glance in Gargano’s direction, and heads back from whence he came. The referee begins the count and as the count gets higher and higher to the number ten the boos rush in even louder. The ref throws his hands up signifying that it has been ten seconds and then rings the bell. Gargano gets his arm raised then yells to the booing audience "I told ya! I told you all that you would have a reason to boo!". Gargano rolls out of the ring leaving a downed Alex Shelley in the ring as the camera slowly fades to a quick Supremacy hype video.

[Jim Ross]
Ladies and Gentlemen it is now time to decide who will be walking out of Las Vegas with the United States Champion, will it be the challenger Eric Young? Or will Roman Reigns' dominant streak continue on and retain his Championship?

[Michael Cole]
It has been a long road for Eric Young to get to this point in his career, he felt overlooked when it came to potential challengers for Championships so he decided to take the issue upon himself and interrupted Roman Reigns and issued a challenge, only to have that challenge rejected, as The Juggernaut turned his nose up at the sight of EY.

[Jerry “The King” Lawler]
But it wasn't over there, later on in the night Roman Reigns was scheduled to face his former partner Dean Ambrose in a Steel Cage match, which ended as Reigns took both men through the cage wall with a hellacious Spear and as both men were recovering on the arena floor Eric Young took the fight to Roman Reigns and showed him that he is not to be ignored and the duo fought to the backstage where they had to be broken apart from one another by several members of staff.

[Jim Ross]
Eric Young cites Reigns' rejection as to what pushed him over the edge, what made him turn over a new chapter in his career and no longer be just looked at as a comic Wrestler and while many believed that Roman Reigns would be out for blood, when he spoke that night he was found to be impressed by Eric Young's actions, claiming that “He never knew that he had it in him” and upon that granted Eric Young's request for a match for the United States Championship here tonight but he made sure that Eric Young knew that he did not take the attack lightly and intends to exact his revenge here in Las Vegas.

[Michael Cole]
EY then found himself in a situation that nobody likes to find themselves in, as last week he and the Rattlesnake took on the reunited Shield and the Hounds of Justice looked to send a message to their opponents. Everybody had written off the challengers, nobody gave EY a chance but he shocked the World when he took the fight to both members of the Shield and came very close to securing the victory for his team several times but there were to be no fairy tale endings, as Dean Ambrose beat “Stone Cold” Steve Austin with his own Stunner and crowned The Shield victorious.

[Jerry “The King” Lawler]
So that brings us to now, with the United States Championship match moments from starting and we need to find out just what type of match this match will be contested under.

The roulette wheel appears on the titanton

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 INLcGhlTc8pmn

A loud cheer spreads through the fans, they know the heat is about to get turned up so to speak

[Michael Cole]
Oh My...

[Jim Ross]
There you have it folks, the United States Championship will be decided in a Flaming Tables match, what that means is either one of these men will find themselves crashing through a table which has been set on fire...

[Jerry “The King” Lawler]
Get your sauce ready, J.R! We're about to have us some BBQ!

Eric Young rolls around on the canvas, trying to get himself away from the burning pieces of wood that he found himself crashing through, members of the ringside staff slide in the ring with fire extinguishers  and spray EY, the remaining pieces of table and the crash site to try and remove the flames. While the fans may be disappointed that the underdog didn't come out on top, many are on their feet chanting “Holy Shit” after witnessing EY get powerbombed through the blazing table by the Juggernaut and still United States Champion: Roman Reigns! The smell of burning flesh and singed hair makes its way over to the fans, many of whom cover their noses to try and stop inhaling the sickening aroma. EY falls out of the ring, holding the back of his arm, one can only assume he has suffered some severe burns, the medical staff attend to him while Roman Reigns stands tall in the middle of the ring, he looks down at EY and a cruel smirk reveals itself on his face. He looks around the arena at the crowd as the referee climbs back into the ring and hands him his prize, his United States Championship. Reigns walks over to the turnbuckle that overlooks Eric Young and the medics and he ascends to the middle rope. He points to the United States Championship and can be clearly heard saying “This is mine” to EY before raising the Championship high above his head. He climbs down and looks at the broken shards of table, he crouches over by them and gently taps them with his hand to make sure they are not too hot and finds himself a part of the broken table and picks it up. Reigns rolls out of the ring by Eric Young, members of the the medics stand between him and EY to prevent an attack but it appears Reigns had no intentions, he just smirks and walks on by to the barricade before climbing over. He walks through the crowd as the realisation kicks in, Eric Young realises that he blew his chance that he fought so hard for, he sits up still holding the back of his arm and see's Reigns staring at him with a smile on his face and to rub salt into the fresh wounds, once again raises the United States Championship high above his head.

This has been done since Monday so while everything didn't go up in exact order I removed the spoilers we don't know about and yeah  coffee

It's been an exciting night thus far, and it's about to get even more exciting. The Thomas & Mack Center erupts with a very positive response once the theme music of one Stephanie McMahon is heard. To what do we owe this pleasure? What will The General Manager have to say, we will soon find out.

[JR]
There she is, the woman responsible for tonight's event live in Las Vegas, and what a night it has been!

[Michael Cole]
It's been a little over six months since Stephanie took control of weekly operations, and I'd say she's done a phenomenal job.

[King]
How about The Intercontinental Championship match idea? All three candidates chosen were without a doubt the right men. Alex Shelley, _____, all former United States Champions, and then Johnny Gargano, one new gun that's really taken this place by storm!

Walking out from behind the curtain, Stephanie's smile lights up the stage.

All eyes are on her, the audience holds up their signs of support for many of XWL's finest, and some that are highly underrated. Perhaps wanting her to see who they want, so that they'll get that all important opportunity, which is what Stephanie's given out quite a lot recently.

[Michael Cole]
Vince McMahon's gotta be awful proud of his daughter, she's really been hands on and very vocal. Previous General Managers might show up once, or twice during the week, but she's all over the place!

[King]
She's a very busy woman, it makes you wonder how she finds the time to do everything, but I guess that speaks volumes in itself.

Reaching the end of the ramp, Stephanie slaps one overjoyed fan's hand, then turns toward her right and makes her way up the steel steps.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 RyxUm3m

She turns toward the crowd, in a very good mood, especially given the crowd's reaction to her tonight. After waving to a few people she enters the ring and walks to the far side, asking for a microphone.

[JR]
This sold out crowd is electric, and who could blame them, there's so much more to come but it's already been an unbelievable night.

[King]
You wanna talk unbelievable, how about FaanDaaango's return at the start of the show?

[JR]
Let's not get into that again, King. Poor Lillian Garcia never did get to sing the anthem, she practiced all of last week for it too.

[Michael Cole]
Who needs to practice The National Anthem?

The audience settles down right about the time Stephanie retrieves a microphone and raises it up.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 8SsaN2x

[Stephanie McMahon]
Alright alright guys, don't go chanting my name or anything.

You can tell she's joking, but the joke soon is on her as large portion of the jam packed audience begin to chant "Stephanie!" She laughs almost instantly, very appreciative of their response.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 SsRFxba

The chant continues, and the smile on Stephanie's face gets bigger and bigger with each time her name is chanted.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Very cute, looks like we've got ourselves a few jokers in the crowd. And that is what I love about Las Vegas, whether you're a native here, or from out of town, the mood is always so warm. People want to have a good time, to enjoy themselves, and that is the key to unlocking an amazing night.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 JNn0Vgi

[Stephanie McMahon]
I've been back there spinning wheels, watching the fates of superstars and divas pass me by, and you know Dead Mans Hand is a special kind of show. I don't decide what kind of match people have, you don't decide, they don't decide, chance decides.  You never know what to expect, and that is what you should expect, anything. I know you all enjoy it, and believe me...so do I. But I have to be honest, I'm not out here to plug any matches, or throw around a little hype. There's been an ongoing situation for the past month, which I'm sure you've all noticed by now. Whether you understand, or find it strange, it's my job as General Manager to run a tight ship. To do what's best for business, and solve any problem that comes my way.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 H47T7xV

[Stephanie McMahon]
Unfortunately, tonight....is somebodies last night.

Not knowing who, or how to react, some fans cheer, thinking it might be someone they don't like, a good portion boo, worrying it might be someone they do.

[Stephanie McMahon]
I know what you're thinking, and no...I'm not firing anybody, this actually is something I don't want to happen. But my hands have been tied, there's not really been a way of preventing it in spite of my best efforts. Every Superstar and Diva back there are important to me, they all have the ability to be stars, they're all some of the best in the world, and it pains me to think that our family could someone that's worked so hard to be here.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 ObkrQBD

[Stephanie McMahon]
I know you haven't agreed with his most recent decisions, and I understand that, but you have to understand...it's hard for these men and women to always do everything right. They're human beings, they want to be successful, they want to be the best, and sometimes mistakes are made, and they end up costing you everything. This gentleman was your hero for three years, the system before The McMahons arrived was very broken. Men like him were screwed constantly, and it's a miracle he even got his job back without losing his mind a lot sooner.

More boos can be heard, her words describe pretty much only one person, and that person is someone they do not at all care about anymore, not after the way he behaved.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Listen, Ted needs you right now. He won't say it, he hasn't said a word to anyone since Final Stand, but you all see it. He's not been the same, he's going through the motions, he's passing up every chance to speak, and as humans...even if you don't agree with what he said or did, that has to speak to you. Ted signed a contract extension last month, because his was due to expire the night after Final Stand, and we still had some things to work out in regards to his new deal. However, given his mental state after the Sixth Anniversary of Final Stand, we've been unable to secure that deal and tonight...well, tonight's when that extension is up. If Ted doesn't resign with us tonight, as of midnight, he'll officially no longer be apart of The XWL Roster.

A mild pop is heard directly after that last sentence, some fans way too happy about that, but surprisingly enough...there is a select many that seem sad about it. Whether it be for nostalgia factor, remembering how things used to be, or just feeling sorry for him and how the last month has been, they don't want to see him go. However the ones starting up a "Yes!" chant don't help us notice that as much.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 3IKDJor

[Stephanie McMahon]
I don't want that, and I know some of you don't either. Which is why, instead of trying to find Ted backstage, which as our interviewers have shown recently hasn't been that easy...I want to try something different. Maybe with all of you out here, his "DiBiase Posse" or what's left of it...together we can help him get over what happened at Final Stand, and make up for it. Work harder, get another shot, and succeed this time. He needs that motivation, he needs someone to show that he's not alone in this, so Ted...I know you're back there, I know you're going through a lot tight now. I know deep down you still want to be here, so let's work this out. Please Ted, come join us out here, and let's negotiate that contract.

Although the majority may not want to see him resign, when at one point last year they were the ones that wanted to see him rehired the most. There's those that remember Ted through the years, the struggles they went through together, and now Ted needs them for this. If he doesn't snap out of this state he's been in for the last four weeks, this will be his final night in an XWL ring. They look to the stage, as does Stephanie, waiting for Ted to come out, and for some questions we've had, to finally be answered. But that seems easier said than done, people are on their feet, watching but Ted's not coming out. Stephanie's smile dims, she has no problem with Ted, and she wants to work whatever this is out. Thirty seconds of silence mixed in with boos, cheers, and random call outs from the audience pass, and that prompts Stephanie to raise her microphone back up. Her eyes remain on the stage, the second her mouth opens, it soon closes when Ted's theme hits.

The stage lights up, and Ted's not so often heard anymore theme song elicits a small pop from the crowd, that is quickly drowned out by angry boos. At long last, four weeks of silence, four weeks of nothing but questions, this is the moment we get the answers we have searched for. No interview could get Ted to break this sudden vow of silence, no microphone echo'd his words, even The General Manager herself couldn't get Ted to break his silence. That has brought us to now, this very moment where either Ted speaks, or he leaves. Still to this moment nobody knows why he won't, is his spirit broken after failing to recapture what was stolen from him two years ago? Tonight is the Two Year Anniversary of his first, and only title win here in XWL, and my how time can change in a few years. From Main-Eventing, challenging, and winning The World Heavyweight Championship, to not even having a match.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 I9upp6c

We notice stirring from behind the curtain, and soon there he is! Ted walks out from the back, a look of uncertainty on his face, the same look we've seen every week for the past month. He didn't even look this broken when he was fighting for his job, but he also had his DiBiase Posse there with him through it all, where as now...he's only got himself.

[JR]
Ted's coming down the ramp, I just hope he's alright. It's strange for someone like Ted to behave how he has, even stranger than turning away from the fans back in January.

[Michael Cole]
Strange is only the half of it, I get feeling down after failing to win your big Main-Event, the match he had waited for his whole career, but it's been a month...isn't it time to get over it?

[King]
You'd think so, but I guess he's so used to having a blanket of support that now that he doesn't, he doesn't know what to do.

DiBiase by passes extended hands, far fewer than what used to there when he was lovable hero, but even though there's one or two hands, he doesn't slap them. Be it his new attitude upon his return, or just not feeling up to it, those fans go ignored.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 L1l5Vvp

He reaches the end of the ramp, looking around at the somewhat rabid crowd. There's some that have smiles, but they're overshadowed by the shouting, thumbs down and various signs for everyone but him. His eyes shift to Stephanie, she's got a smile on her face, motioning for Ted to join her, but he's hesitant to. Just as we don't know what to think about all of this, it's almost as if he doesn't either. Walking a little closer to the ring apron, Ted steps up, spinning around to focus on the crowd again.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 IaCoVld

He seems hurt by the response, which is strange given the things he said and did before Final Stand VI. His head lowers, his eyes close, and his lip curls under. He's not happy, that's the understatement of the century, but is he done? Is he ready to hang up his boots, and leave the very company he stopped at nothing to return to this time last year? Without looking back up, Ted turns around, entering the ring, joining Stephanie in the center of it.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Ted, thank you for joining us out here. I know how you feel right now, you feel like giving up, but it doesn't have to be this way. You're not against the world, if you regret turning your back on the crowd just so you could lead the "Orchestra" then they'll understand.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 SCD18GD

[Stephanie McMahon]
If you want to be your own man, be your own man. Everyone loses, it's how you recover. Don't let Final Stand be the end for you, let it just be the beginning. Did you stop trying that first year, when you didn't win a title? When you couldn't win when it mattered most? You fought, you persevered, you got  back up on that horse time after time, and that's what you have to do now. If not for these people, if not for me, for yourself. Please Ted, say something. I don't want to have to let you go, but you have to want it, tell me you want it, Ted.

Stephanie extends her microphone Ted, who stares down at it, his hands at his side. Patiently she waits for Ted to grab it, but after a few seconds longer, she moves it even closer to him, going as far as slipping it in his hand herself. His hand tightly grips the microphone, and Ted then looks to Stephanie with a conflicted look on his face. Why is it so hard for him to say something? That's something nobody can understand, maybe even he can't himself. The microphone moves up, his mouth opening, but nothing comes out. She waits, and waits and waits...until it becomes obvious that he's not going to say anything, in which she immediately asks for the microphone back, and right away he places it in her hand.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 H9AdgWx

[Stephanie McMahon]
Do you really want this to be what you're remembered for? One loss, and and suddenly that confidence, that attitude, it all just goes away? You fight the good fight to get your job back, to be seen as something more than replaceable, only to give up now? This isn't going to be solved with silence, you need to be a man, you need to open your mouth and say what's on your mind. I know you're capable of doing great things here, they know it too. So instead of feeling sorry for yourself, instead of standing there like a bump on a log, how about you act like a former World Heavyweight Champion! I can't put it any more clearer, either you speak up, and we figure out what it is you want, or you leave this company...and don't come back. I already gave you time away at the end of the last year, you're not going away on another retreat to "find yourself." You either find your voice right now, in this very minute, or I'm having security escort you out of my building. The choice is yours, now make it.

It should be obvious what he does, but it seems to be lot easier said than done for some apparent reason. Is this Ted's last moment in XWL? Will he finally just speak up? All he has to do is let his voice be heard, to break out of this nonverbal cocoon that he's sealed himself in. The microphone is extended to Ted one final time, his hand inching slowly towards it, only to pull his hand back to his side, balling it into a fist and turning away. Angrily she glares at Ted, it's a simple task, why won't he just say something, anything?

[Stephanie McMahon]
Is this really how you want this to end? Do you want Tate to grow up remembering this for the rest of his life? That his father, gave up on me, these people, his family...and himself?! Fine, I tried...I really did try Ted, but I'm not going to stand here and beg you to do what should be obvious at this point. Where's your voice, huh? WHERE'S YOUR VOICE?! Pathetic...Did you ever even care about this place? Do you even care about anything? Think of your wife at home, she's watching right now....and she's watching you give up!

Ted just stands there and takes it, verbal insult after verbal insult, it seemed like Stephanie's last ditch effort to bring that fire out of him. To do nothing but insult him, talk down to him, bring up his family, in hopes that it would bring something out...but it doesn't. Her anger fades, and a disappointed look replaces it.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Where's your voice....where is it, Ted? Let it out, just let it out...

[Michael Cole]
It's the new number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship!

[JR]
But what business does he have out here? His night is done, shouldn't he be packing up and leaving?

Everyone's attentions turn to the stage as Johnny Garganos music blares across the Thomas and Mack Center. Johnny begins to walk out from the curtain with a microphone in hand and is seen shaking his head in disapproval. The camera pans over to Stephanie McMahon who has a shocked look on her face as if she can't believe Gargano has interrupted her show yet again. The camera now has panned back to Gargano who has just got finished climbing the steel steps and he is on the apron. Gargano looks at the fans in the crowd and give a smirk to them before climbing into the ring and raising the mic to his lips now standing in the middle of Ted DiBiase and Stephanie McMahon.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Mr. Gargano why are you out here? I thought I told you on Breakdown last week to never interrupt my show again.

[Johnny Gargano]
Stephanie, I did not interrupt you in anyway shape or form. What I am doing is answering your question. You are out here nagging and nagging this man begging him to speak. For the last month now you have been on Ted's case and wont leave him alone and to be quite honest, from a outsiders perspective it looks as though I am getting the same treatment now. For the past five minutes you have done nothing but insult this man and I honestly am wondering if you even deserve to be called the General Manager. You see Stephanie, I am out here not for myself because if I was then you would here me ranting and raving about how at the start of the night I was put through hell with The Undertaker and now at the end of the night I am the number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship, but I am not bragging one bit on myself. See I am out here to show you just exactly where Ted DiBiase's voice is and I have found it. Now I am no Sherlock Holmes or anything but it was quite easy to find Stephanie as Ted DiBiases voice was staring me down in the mirror every single day I would wake up. Now I know you're a McMahon so let me put that in slower terms for you. I, Johnny Gargarno have found Ted DiBiase's voice, because  I AM it!

[King]
What?

[JR]
Looks like Ted's found himself a new friend, is the number one contender really Ted's voice?

[Michael Cole]
What happened to Ted's actual voice?

Gargano now steps beside Ted, who looks at Johnny, before he joins Gargano in a staredown at Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie looks irate at the news of Johnny and Teds alliance and she goes to speak only to be cut off by Gargano yet again.

[Johnny Gargano]
Save it Steph. Look if it shocks you that Ted would align himself with moi then let me explain. These people that have filled the god forsaken building and the thousands upon thousands of people watching at home turned their backs on us for no reason. Neither me or Ted gave them a reason but these people spat in our faces and basically gave us a big middle finger. You know I didn't take to kindly to that nor did Ted and both of us agree with the fact of showing these people up and making them want to cheer us but guess what, its to late because if you people want to jump on the Johnny and Ted bandwagon then that just goes to show you what type of person you are. Not only do Ted and myself have a bond from the idiotic people but we also have a bond because of a idiot walking around backstage known as The Undertaker. Ted got the opportunity to bury that piece of trash and I don't mean just figuratively. Ted literally buried him alive and took him out. Now me on the other hand, I was screwed into having a match with The Underfaker by you Stephanie. Tonight that man tried to kill me and you know what? I'm still alive. Hell I am even doing better than he is because I have a title shot and what does he have? Oh yeah thats right all he has is a little black magic and a underage child who plays with dolls. Ted and myself are one in the same basically and I know that kills you inside Steph but hey, you are the one who caused this so I hope your happy.

[King]
We've got a new alliance!

[Michael Cole]
Isn't our new number one contender such a role model? How could you not like this guy, he's selflessly helping Ted get back on his feet, he's the friend he needs, how can these people boo?

[JR]
Johnny makes it really easy for them every time he opens his mouth, Cole.

Once again Stephanie goes to speak but instead of cutting her off with words Gargano laughs and taps Ted DiBiases shoulder and says "Let's go". Johnny walks over to the ropes and sits on the middle rope holding them open for Ted then both men get out of the ring. They walk past fans and slowly make there way to the ramp where they begin walking up to the top of the stage. Gargano turns around and faces Stephanie and yells out "I hope you're happy! I really do!". Gargano turns as Ted walks behind the curtain then Gargano joins him and they are now backstage. The camera pans back over to Stephanie McMahon who is just lost for words.

[JR]
But what does this mean for Ted's contract? It's drawn up, but there's still no signature?

[King]
That's right, Johnny's taking Ted away, but if he doesn't resign tonight he's out.

[Michael Cole]
Of course he's resigned, why else would Johnny come out here? He's not going to invest in someone that's just going to leave.

[JR]
But they're supposed to negotiate the deal, Ted turned down the las offer before Final Stand.

[King]
Maybe he's changed his mind?

[Michael Cole]
Well if he has then he better sign the dotted line before midnight, or else Ted's "voice" might be here, but he sure won't be.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 T5lemAT

Awesome!

"I Came To Play" by Downstrait would begin to blare out the speaker systems. The fans would instantly begin to boo and jeer as they await the arrival of the PRIDE Champion, The Miz! After a few seconds into the song, The Miz would walk out to the arena with an arrogant and cocky smile on his face, wearing a pair of his black wrestling shorts with the usual Miz designs outlined in silver along with his brand new black and white baseball jersey t-shirt that reads "I'm Awesome" on the front and "#40, The Miz" on the back in red, orange, and yellow letters. The Miz would confidently walk to the center of the ring with a punchable smug look on his face. He would look around the arena, eying the XWL Universe who are booing at every move he makes... the very people whom he once referred to as his Mizfits. The Miz could care less now as he simply chuckles at the stupidity and ignorance the fans are displaying. The Miz would then pause to the crowd and pose to them. Afterr a couple of seconds in this pose, The Miz would begin his strut to the ring. The Miz would stop after being a few steps away from the ring. He would then take a couple of steps backwards and in a quick motion The Miz would do his patented run and leap, hanging on to the middle rope.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 16_zps95a16fec

The Miz would then climb into the ring as he walks straight towards his corner of the ring as he prepares for his match.

Kenny King's entrance music hit and he walks out to the arena with a swag in his step. receiving a negative reception as he struts down the ramp to the ring.

Kenny and Miz ready themselves in the ring as the titantron lights up with a premade graphic of the Roulette Wheel. Both participants look on as the wheel begins to spin. After making a full spin, the wheel begins to show signs of slowing down, it enters into 'Falls Count Anywhere', but slips past it into 'Extreme Rules', showing signs of stopping, it enters into 'Last Man Standing' before coming to a halt at 'Special Guest Referee'.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 U03X5Od

Jerry Lawler
What? But how...?

Jim Ross
I don't know King, but it looks like the two participants in the ring are just as confused as you are.

Miz and Kenny look at eachother, not sure what to make of the situation as the Ring announcer heads back into the center of the ring.

Ring Announcer
Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the Special Referee for this match...

The crowd aren't sure what to make of it as Cody Rhodes steps out onto the ramp.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 L26YduG

Some people cheer and the rest of them boo Cody, who looks no happier than them to be in this position.

Michael Cole
Cody Rhodes! What a great referee he'll make, Kenny and Miz should be proud, this is a career making moment for both of them now that Cody's involved.

Jerry Lawler
Correct me if I'm wrong Cole, but weren't you just picking on the man for chasing Brie Bella? You can't have it both ways.

Michael Cole
Come on Jerry, so I made a mistake? Everyone makes mistakes, and Cody made the biggest one of his career when he gave up on himself to chase a hussy like Brie Bella. But now he's focused, he's back to his old self, and I'm honoured to be a Cody Rhodes fan once again.

Jerry Lawler
Oh please..

Cody Rhodes makes his way from the stage to the ramp, staring down to the two in the ring, he can't help but notice the smug smile on the face of Kenny King.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 GftZuiI

Cody continues to walk down to the ring at his own pace.

Jim Ross
When Cody Rhodes went to Stephanie McMahon last week, asking to be on the Dead Man's Hand card, I doubt this is what he had in mind.

Jerry Lawler
Did you see the way he spoke to her? I hope the rest of the superstars take this as a lesson to never demand anything from a McMahon.

Michael Cole
What are you two talking about? This is a great move for Stephanie McMahon, and for Cody Rhodes. This way he gets to be at Dead Man's Hand without being forced to compete in a match he couldn't have possibly prepared for.

Cody Rhodes reaches the steel steps, he runs up and jumps onto the turnbuckle, looking out to the crowd, the sour look still plastered on his face.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 NQQ9fs0

Looking down, he removes his coat and throws it onto the ground outside, leaping down from the turnbuckle as his music comes to an end, he looks toward Miz, and then back to the smirking Kenny King before taking his place in the center of the ring and signalling for the bell to ring.

DAT MATCH THO

Just as it looks like Kenny King is about to pick up the victory after landing the Royal Flush on The Miz, he's taken by surprise from behind as Cody Rhodes grabs him in an Inverted facelock. Kenny tries to break free, but to no avail as Cody Rhodes with a smile on his face strikes with an almost vertical Cross Rhodes, leaving Kenny King laid out in the center of the ring.

Jim Ross
Oh come one! What kind of referee attacks the superstars like that?!

Cody looks down at Kenny King, before averting his gaze to the still downed Miz, he kneels down to the canvas, throws himself onto Kenny King and hooks his leg, counting the pinfall himself.

1!

2!

3!

[b]Cody Rhodes laughs as he gets back to his feet, leaving the two actual participants knocked down in the ring, he exits the ring and heads over to the announcers area, grabbing a microphone.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Normal_106

Cody Rhodes
Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, here is your winner, CODY RHODES!

Cody throws the microphone to the ground, a huge smile on his face as his entrance music hits, the whole arena jeering him as he makes his way up the ramp, both Kenny and Miz stir in the ring and look out toward the ramp as Cody leaves to the back, and the show cuts away to the next segment/match .

The crowd lets out a roar of dismay and boos (With a few Sheamus marks in the crowd cheering) as The Celtic Warrior quickly arrives carrying a determined look on his face and a mic. He walks down to the ring, and notices a sign in the front row that says "Sheamoose sucks!". He looks at the sign and the fan, and yells some indiscernible obscenities as he grabs the sign, tears it apart, throws the remaining pieces on the ground, and spits on it. The fan flips The Celtic Warrior off as he slides in the ring. He paces around the squared circle for a bit before speaking.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 160520_512x288_generated

Sheamus:
Finally, your king has arrived at Dead Man's Hand! After weeks, months of being denied opportunities and being screwed over by the powers that be, at last King Sheamus has arrived to take what is rightfully his! Now I don't know who's hiding out there in the back, waiting to take my title, but I don't give a damn fella! You see, when a man like me has been denied time and again for so long, it gets to him. It makes him mad, nay, it makes a man like me damn near psychotic! The Intercontinental Championship means a whole lot to me, and you're going to have to do a helluva a lot if you want to stop me! To the coward hiding in the back, I don't care who you are, whether it's The Undertaker, Alberto Del Rio, Shawn Michaels, or even the Big Show, if you want to beat me, you're going to have to kill me fella! Now quit your hiding and get your arse out here so that I can kick it back to where you came from, you peasant!

Sheamus throws the mic down in anger as he waits not-so-patiently for his opponent to arrive........It seems like an eternity befo-

KENNNAAADAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!

The crowd goes nuts as Mr. Kennedy arrives, looking at Sheamus as though he's ready for a fight! Sheamus rolls out of the ring as Kennedy runs in the ring. Kennedy raises his arm up in the air as the microphone slowly descends from the heavens onto the grasp of Kennedy's hand.......

Mr. Kennedy:
MIIIIIIISSSSSSTTTTTTAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR.......

KKKEEEEEENNNNNEEEEE-

Suddenly, Sheamus rolls in the ring and clotheslines the hell out of Mr. Kennedy, sending him reeling on the canvas. Sheamus is about to resume his attack when he is interrupted my Stephanie McMahon on the titantron!

Stephanie McMahon:
Now hold on there, Sheamus! The match hasn't started yet, and I haven't announced the type of match that's going to take place! Now without further ado, let's spin the wheel!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 I1aqsX7wRP3XY

The crowd pops as the wheel stops at the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match! The referee separates both men as Stephanie McMahon smiles, then disappears from the titantron. The ref signals to ring the bell, and the match starts!

Spoilars

15 minutes into the match..........

Kennedy and Sheamus are locked up once again, but this time, Kennedy overpowers Sheamus and gets him in a headlock. He notices the exposed turnbuckle on one of the corners of the ring and drags Sheamus over, attempting to bash his brains out on the turnbuckle, but Sheamus puts his foot on the turnbuckle and headbutts Kennedy to stop him. Sheamus then takes Kennedy and throws his shoulder into the exposed turnbuckle! Sheamus looks to start climbing, and he gets to the 3rd or 4th step when Kennedy starts climbing with him! They start trading blows at the top of the ladder when Kennedy suddenly grabs Sheamus and jumps off the ladder, hitting The Celtic Warrior with a huge Mic Check from the top of the ladder! Sheamus looks to be down and out as Kennedy struggles to try to get to his feet.....

Both men are busted open, there's broken tables everywhere, and Sheamus is down! Mr. Kennedy is looking to climb the ladder and get the Intercontinental Championship that's hanging above the ladder, climbing ever so slowly, taking a small break in between steps due to fatigue, when suddenly Sheamus shoves the ladder and sends Kennedy into the ropes, he bounces off and stumbles right into a Brogue Kick! The crowd is completely mixed on Sheamus, both cheering and booing at the same time as The Celtic Warrior slowly climbs up the ladder, until he finally gets to the top! Clearly fatigued, Sheamus reaches out with both arms and pulls down the Intercontinental Championship! The crowd goes absolutely bonkers as Sheamus climbs down the ladder, and with a final victory yell, shouts "FELLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAA!" as the Intercontinental Championship is perched on his shoulder.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Sheamus-at-vengeance

Sheamus demands for a mic, and an official tosses one to him.

Sheamus:
After many long weeks of fighting to get where I am, finally, King Sheamus is the new Intercontinental Champion! I proved that I'm the biggest threat to the entire locker room by single-handedly destroying every man that has gotten in my way! You can have your other champions like Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, but those titles don't mean a damn when you're not even in the same league as King Sheamus! Tonight starts the true reign of a king, a monarch who will dictate this place like no other, this marks a new era in XWL.........The Age of Sheamus! And if anyone thinks they can take this crown from me, then go ahead and face your destiny, because the only thing you're going to be getting from The Celtic Warrior is a boot to the face and an arse kicking like no other!

Sheamus throws the mic out of the ring as he raises his arms in celebration of winning the Intercontinental Championship! The segment ends.....

We're just minutes away from The Divas Championship bout between Layla and Paige, cutting away to a shot right outside of Stephanie's office, she's shown on the phone talking to someone.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Yes daddy, I know...I've got it under control. Look you entrusted me to oversee Breakdown and sure I've had a few hiccups, but that wouldn't have happened if you hadn't stripped Shawn of The Intercontinental Championship in the first place.

Loud shouting can be heard, as if the phone were on speaker phone, but we know for fact that it's not..

[Stephanie McMahon]
It was joke, I know you had your reasons, just trust that your little girl inherited more from you than your last name. You're right, Dead Mans Hand has been a great success, the people of Las Vegas are already asking when we're coming back. But speaking of which I've got to go spin another wheel so I'll call you after the show. Yes, you're absolutely right, bye love you too.

She hangs up, putting her phone into her pocket, before stepping closer to her office door, which is unexpectedly partially cracked. She seems confused, thinking she shut it before she left it, but just writes it off as it skipping her mind or something. As she pushes open the door, she notices an open set of papers on her desk, and two pens sat on top of it. The General Manager steps further in, bypassing the wheel, her eyes intently staring at the papers, scanning down it until she sees it. There signed in black fine ink, is Ted DiBiase's signature on the contract that she hasn't been able to get him to sign for the past month. But beside it, in a bold red unmissable color, is a "JG" Obviously done intentionally, so that she wouldn't realize that it's not her that got Ted resigned, but the new Intercontinental Championship number one contender that's definitely left his mark on tonight. She flips the top page over, turning away from the desk and focusing on the wheel that'll be spun in just moment once Paige and Layla arrive in her office.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Y0pTy7f

A quick flash of pictures starting with Layla and Paige from their first encounter over a year ago, the next is one of them standing side by side, newly united as XWL's first ever British diva duo. Rapidly more digitals of them in their time as The United Queendom appear on the screen, until a focused shot of Layla super kicking Paige in the jaw, the second that a Bella had ducked and Layla accidentally hit her partner, leading to their forced disbandment. The screen goes black and white, cutting to another photo that showed the look of horror on Layla's face the second after it happened. But that horror goes away months later, as the color returns and the newly crowned Divas Champion Layla raises her prize. It fades into a shot of Paige pinning Alicia Fox, with Layla counting the final count, crowning her number one contender, and the woman that would dethrone her. A blast from the past in the form of Paige super kicking Layla intentionally in their one night reunion. A page turning effect follows, showing Paige trapping Layla in The Scorpion Cross Lock at Final Stand VI for the first time. Where a close up shot up Paige raising The Divas Championship up high, winning The Divas Championship finally. All of the pictures we've seen scatter across the screen, one disappearing after the other, until we're left with one we didn't see, Paige raising the Divas title, as Layla stares her down.

Words appear on the screen, bold, and up long enough for us to read it at least three times.

XWL's two top British female talents have faced off four times throughout the past two years, tonight...with the score tied, they clash one final time.

An interview conducted by tonight's challenger for The Divas Championship is the next thing we see, though it's not in full, it's more of a highlight, to get her thoughts on everything that's transpired throughout this British versus British story.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 XNWyaXA

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 DwCyNZc
I wish it didn't have to be like this, we were united...we were exactly everything you didn't think two people like us would be. The United Queendom wasn't Lay-Cool. We weren't anything alike, we didn't play up each other's weaknesses and turn them into strengths, we had no weakness to mask, because we were the best.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Oecgt2x

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 DwCyNZc
I remember that night clearly, I knew there was a chance for that to be the end, but...I thought we had it. We did have it, if it weren't for the nonsense that went on, and Alicia Fox and all of that, we'd have won. The United Queendom wouldn't have been forced to split up, we'd still be ruling today. We wouldn't be enemies, or frenemies whatever you wanna call us.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 NlDMv1V

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 DwCyNZc
I was proud of Paige for winning The Divas Championship. I meant what I said, I respected her, I had no malice or any sort of intent on taking that moment away from her. While we're not the best British friends anymore, we still have that spark...if anything, it makes this match even more unpredictable. We both are willing to do it all, because we're capable of it. We don't hide, we don't run....well, I don't...and she didn't used to either. Regardless of what's been said, what we've done, tonight is our swan song.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 KjJnLOt

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 DwCyNZc
Absolutely, I'm walking out of here as Divas Champion again, if I thought anything else, then what the hell am I doing here? We all have to believe we can do it, whether or not logic says we can, we actually can. Look at my career here, do you think anyone saw this Diva Search chick going this far? Accomplishing this much? Growing not only as a performer, but a person as well? I've been in XWL since day one, and I've got the experience factor. Paige may have been wrestling since whatever age, but that's in her safety net. She was with her family, people she knew, it's a lot different in this environment. Maybe that's what she's starting to realize, maybe that's why she went into business for herself. I've been where she is, so while it sucks to be on the other side of things for a change, I get it.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 KpgmTln

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 DwCyNZc
Las Vegas is known for luck, they say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...but that's not going to be true for her or The Divas Championship. The Divas Championship is leaving Las Vegas alright, just not with her.

Layla smiles, silently mouthing "Real Talk" before her footage ends, and another begins.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 CEgI165

{Paige}
For a competitor to walk into a match like this, a Divas Championship match, as the defending champion no less, it's a big deal. But when you walk into a match where your opponent knows your arsenal like the back of their hand, and you know theirs, then it gets interesting, doesn't it? I walked into Final Stand with a trick up my sleeve, a match ending move that ultimately allowed me to become Divas Champion.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 E1nd3VS

{Paige}
I won't have that luxury tonight, but it won't matter because regardless of what Layla has planned, I will walk out with my Divas Championship over my shoulder. This really has been a storied rivalry, hasn't it? United by a single goal, unified by a common enemy. The United Queendom was never about Layla or myself, it was about this company's only two British born women against everybody else.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 UvMHOnA

{Paige}
For months, we proved that we were superior to every other “diva” in this division, we proved that we weren't just another pretty face, but we knew exactly what we were doing in that ring. Unfortunately, a certain “Foxy Diva” from my past decided to pick a fight she had no business being in and paired with a miscalculation on Layla's part, we were ultimately defeated and were forced to disband.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 5mpSMD8

{Paige}
So where do you go from there? How do you recover from quite possibly the greatest pairing on women prematurely coming to an end?  Fast forward many months on mistakes and setbacks and we end up at Uprising at the start of the year. For the second year in a row, I stepping foot into a ring against Alicia Fox, only this time, a shot at the championship that has eluded me for a year up to that point was on the line, with Layla as the Special Guest Referee.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 I86Akcl

{Paige}
I would go on to defeat Alicia Fox and the biggest Divas Championship match in the history of Final Stand was set. We were at one win a piece and our tiebreaker, our rubber match was on the grandest stage of them all, for the biggest prize in this division: The Divas Championship. Our actions for the past year led us both to that moment, and I was finally granted my rightful one on one match against the champion.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 J6hJzTD

{Paige}
I would walk out of Final Stand with a broken friendship, but with the Divas Championship in my possession. I have sacrificed everything to become Divas Champion, I have given up everything just to hold this, so if you think that I'm going to give this up without a fight, you're sorely mistaken. We're in a bit of a repeated situation, Layla, tonight, we're in yet another rubber match, another match to prove which one of us is superior to the other, and I hate to break it to you, but history will repeat itself tonight. If you think that you're going to take this away from me, Layla, think again.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 K9ZnZSM

With that said, the prerecorded video comes to an end before fading into one where both champion and challenger are in Stephanie's office, on opposite ends of the room with Layla leaning on the table while Paige leans against the wall across the room, her arms crossed over her chest as the Divas Championship hangs from her shoulder, both women not taking their eyes of the wheel that will decide what match they will do battle in.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 IyGGCEKkt0pt7

The wheel is spun, circling every option at least a few times, everything between a Lion's Den Match, all the way to a First Blood match, even going over an Inferno match. The wheel starts losing it's initial momentum and begins to slow down, teasing one of the many possibilities before ultimately deciding on a Submission Match. With the wheel now at a standstill, Layla and Paige turn to one another, Paige oozing confidence but doesn't show it, while Layla is almost unsure how to react. A quick smirk from Paige before she exits the room is all Layla sees before she follows suit and walks out from the room, both women now knowing the match type they will do battle in as they begin making quick preparations and adjustments to their game plans just moments before what could be their final encounter.

Boos rain down into the ring as the theme of the current Divas Champion, Paige, plays throughout the arena, signaling that the Submission match that was spun earlier in the evening is just minutes away from pitting two former allies turned bitter rivals for the Divas Championship.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 2PGSPoo

Paige walks out from behind the curtain, her Divas Championship hanging from her shoulder and a confident smirk gracing her face. The wheel couldn't have favored her anymore than it already has, a Submission match clearly plays to Paige's strengths over Layla's.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 OhFRmKO

She remains on the stage, looking down at the prize at stake: Her Divas Championship. This could be the final encounter between both Brits, and just like their war at Final Stand the month prior, both rivals are walking into this match with two wins a piece, a second rubber match between them. Will Paige make lightning strike twice, or will Layla prove why she shouldn't be underestimated?

[JR]
Get ready folks, this is one you don't wanna miss a second of!

[Michael Cole]
The wheel spun, and I don't think there's a more fitting contest for these two women to do battle in.

[King]
Paige captured The Divas Championship last month by forcing Layla to tap out, and now Layla's got to do the very same thing if she wants to regain it.

[JR]
Will lightning strike twice? Or will Paige suffer the same embarrassment Layla did, by not only losing her championship, but being forced to give it up.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 VrPRIfX

Paige looks towards the crowd, confidence oozing from her as a nameplate that reads “Paige” appears on the bottom portion of the screen before fading after a few moments. She begins her descent down the entrance ramp, not paying attention to the fans on either side of the ramp, instead opting to remain focused on the task at hand: Retaining the Divas Championship.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 9aMrI91

Upon making it to the bottom of the ramp, Paige walks around the ringside area, placing her Divas Championship on the mat before climbing up onto the apron. She begins undoing her jacket and removes it shortly after, looking out towards the negative reactions she has received thus far.

[King]
The Las Vegas fans not showing any love for XWL's resident Anti-Diva.

[JR]
She didn't win any one over when she betrayed her friendship with Layla, but she did win The Divas Championship.

[Michael Cole]
Exactly, it's not about making friends. It's about making an impact, looking out for you and you alone.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 FOsunVD

Without warning, Paige lets out her signature scream, nearly causing the fans in the first few rows to lose their sense of hearing. Confidence is now replaced with determination, and her smirk is replaced with a more serious expression. After becoming Divas Champion at Final Stand one month ago, Paige walks into her first real defense, against a very game Layla no less.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 PleAKr9

Paige reaches down and picks up the Divas Championship from the mat, raising it up above her head for the entirety of both the live audience in attendance and the people watching at home. A few moments pass before Paige enters the ring, pacing back and forth, knowing that the chances of her losing her Divas Championship might be slim, but still possible.

Layla's theme sounds, cutting off a banshee like scream from Paige, prompting her to turn to the stage with a scowl.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 ImY2tHOMQMy5m

Without any delay, Layla steps out onto the stage, soon grabbing both ends of her hood entrance attire, flipping it back and spinning full circle. As she's spun back in place, Layla's hands flow into a motion around her waist, ending with straight point aimed at Paige, but most of all The Divas Championship on her shoulder.

[JR]
This one is going to be insane ladies and gentlemen, we've got two fiery Brits ready to do whatever it takes to leave that ring as Divas Champion.

[King]
It's a year in the making, this time last year they were teaming up against The Bella Twins, in their first pay-per-view appearance together, and now...they're embroiled in a war stemmed by a broken friendship.

[Michael Cole]
There's no friendships in wrestling, everyone's always looking out for themselves, and that's how it should be. You're not here to skip away hand in hand, you're here to have a title in your hands.

Rushing down the stage, Layla fixes her hair, smiling from ear to ear, in spite of what the fate's have determined this clash will be. She directs her gleaming eyes to the champion, the woman whom made her submit last month to take that from her, then focuses on the ramp side fans. She journeys down it, touching as many hands as she can giving back the support they'll no doubt be giving her in this contest.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 IJrE4MqrlXEX

[King]
This will be a Submission Match, as determined by the wheel spin earlier, and for a woman that's not exactly been a Submission expert in her career, Layla's awful chipper.

[Michael Cole]
Well, while she may not be tapping everyone out every match, she is skilled in many of ways, utilizing submissions typically to wear down her opponents. So it's not as if she doesn't know any. She knows a lot actually, but has only ever made one person tap out, and that wasn't until last year.

[JR]
That's right, she shocked the world when she made Beth Phoenix, the very dominant diva tap out, so perhaps that's why she's not let this type of match phase her. She's a very confident woman, been through a lot, and she did get in the champion's head this past week on Breakdown.

[King]
Layla using The Scorpion Cross Lock was as unexpected as it gets! What does that do to her psyche? That's supposed to be her big weapon, the thing that puts fear into her opponents, and there's her once friend and partner, using it against her!

[Michael Cole]
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but while Layla can imitate it, can she truly utilize it as well as Paige?

After giving back the love, Layla quickly heads to the ring, hopping up knee first onto the apron, and staring at Paige before entering.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Ibmd6P0dRxTOlU

Her hair flips up as her head raises, Paige begins to step forward, the referee making sure she keeps her distance. Layla just stares at her with a determined gaze, almost letting her eyes do the talking. "Putting up a smirk that says "I'm ready, are you?" The cameras cut away to a shot taken from the front row where a young fan holds up a sign in support of the challenger in this Divas Championship bout. Returning back to the ring Layla steps up onto the ropes, sliding across them as Paige shoots her a deathly gaze from behind. Rising back up, Layla raises her hand, as she hopes to be able to at the end of this Brit versus Brit Submission Match.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 Iudxy3Kqj71sT

[JR]
Yes folks this is one for the history books, will history repeat itself, or will Layla rewrite it?

[Michael Cole]
Anything can happen, never say never in wrestling, but it's going to take everything Layla has and more to make Paige tap out. She's from a wrestling family, she's been in the ring since the early age of thirteen, her family would never let her hear the end of it if she submits.

The first bell sounds, and Justin Roberts takes to the center of the ring. .

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 VCYy7

[Justin Roberts]
The following...is a SUBMISSION MATCH...for The Divas Championship!!

The crowd roars with excitement, this could be the final encounter between Layla and Paige, two women that while always so different, have been involved in each other's careers for the last year.

[Justin Roberts]
Introducing first, the challenger...from London England, now residing in Miami Florida...Layla!

Layla spins in place, her hands motioning around her waist as she twirls, before she stops right in front of Paige, her finger circling the air until it lands on The Divas Championship. Stepping back before Paige could get too angry, Layla's hands rest on her hips giving Paige a "Bring it" expression.

[Justin Roberts]
Her opponent, hailing from Norwich England...she is The Divas Champion, Paige!

Skipping any cutesy posing or silly attempts at getting to her opponent, Paige just confidently raises her title into the air, gazing at her challenger with a stone cold stare.

[King]
That's a determined woman, and a look that says I'm not tapping out.

[JR]
Of course that's easier said than done, Layla has made someone submit before as we touched on earlier. Beth Phoenix isn't the type of woman you think would submit, let alone to a smaller foe in Layla, so that in itself should tell you what she's capable of.

[Michael Cole]
She always says that she's been told she's not good enough for the better part of her career, and she keeps proving them wrong year after year.

[JR]
Paige did make Layla submit on the grand stage last month, so we know she's capable of making Layla tap out, the question is....was that a one time thing? Paige tried to lock that submission again two weeks later, and Layla was ready for it. So my question to both of you now, is Paige going to have to pull another new trick out of her hat, or just lock that move in when Layla least expects it.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 BCqKNZl

After the introductions come to an end, the referee raises the Divas Championship high above his head, showing not only the live audience in attendance, but the people watching at home the prize that's at stake in this contest. A few moments pass before the official lowers the championship down and shows it to Layla, who places a hand on it, ready to win it back in this match that clearly favors the defending champion. He pulls it away from Layla, her hand slowly slipping off of it the further away it gets, could it be symbolism for what's to come? The referee walks over to Paige, holding the championship towards her, causing the “Anti-Diva” to place her hand over the main plate, tapping it a few times before it's pulled away. The referee steps through the ropes and hands the all too important prize over to the timekeeper as both champion and challenger gaze at each other from across the ring, both knowing that the time for talking has long passed and it's time to for their fifth and potentially final encounter to take place.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 MkUifvv

With both Brits ready to leave it all in the ring for a chance to call themselves “champion,” the referee calls for the bell, bringing an official start to this Submission match for the Divas Championship. Former allies turned rivals stand across the ring from one another, neither wanting to make the first mistake that could potentially cost them the match in the long run. The both proceed with caution, knowing that the other could gain the upper hand in a moments notice, and begin to slowly circle around one another, Layla being the first to begin clapping her hands together, the live audience in attendance following suit shortly after. With the early moments of the match being crucial to dictating the pace, Layla and Paige charge forward, locking up in a collar and elbow tie up for control of the opening moments. Paige overpowers Layla and takes control of her arm, wrenching it and applying as much pressure as she could.

[Michael Cole]
Paige takes the lead, but will she keep it?

[King]
Nope, look at that!

It doesn't take long for Layla to turn the tables and pulls Paige towards her, using her free arm to wrap it around Paige's head, applying a side headlock. As quickly as it was gotten, the momentum leaves Paige's side and goes to Layla's corner. It quickly finds its way back to Paige, who slips out from the hold and wraps her arms around Layla's waist, putting herself in control of the match. Easy come, easy go rings true when Layla lands a back elbow that forces Paige to release her grip, allowing Layla to sneak behind Paige and lock her arms around Paige's waist. Paige repeats the motion and throws a back elbow, but Layla sees it coming and ducks under it, keeping her grip intact. Now face to face, Paige lands a swift knee to Layla's abdomen, causing the British Beauty to break her hold, allowing Paige to lock in a side headlock, gaining the momentum for the time being.

[JR]
Side head lock, this isn't typically the way someone submits, but if you get that in tight enough, Layla could find herself with no choice.

[Michael Cole]
There's a multitude of ways to turn things around in this position, so I wouldn't go talking about submissions just yet. Layla's not in Paige's league, but she's done a lot here, and that's not by chance.

Not being one to be bested easily, Layla shifts her weight backwards, sending herself and Paige towards the ropes, using them to her advantage to launch Paige across the ring. With her plan seemingly going how she wants it, Paige ricochets off the ropes on the opposite end of the ring and comes running back with a head full of steam, leveling the smaller Layla with a shoulder block, sending her fellow Brit to the canvas. Paige isn't done yet, she runs to the adjacent set of ring ropes, bouncing off of them and Layla drops down to her stomach so Paige could hop over her. Instead of continuing her sprint to the opposite end of the ring, Paige hops over Layla and comes to a complete stop, dropping down to the canvas and wrapping her arm around a downed Layla's neck, locking in the first submission of this contest.

[King]
There it is, the first actual submission in this match, the old drop down and jump over trick has clearly become less effective over the years.

[JR]
Brilliant work by Paige, but as Cole said, this match has only just begun, this is far from over.

Before the referee could check to see if Layla wants to call it quits this early in the contest, Layla pulls herself up off the canvas, knowing full well that if this continues, she won't have a choice but to submit. Quickly making it to her feet, Layla tries attempt number two, using the ropes to send Paige across the ring once more, yielding the same result: Paige sending Layla to the canvas with a shoulder block. Deja vu takes over as Paige, once again, runs to the adjacent set of ring ropes, taking a small leap over Layla's body, but goes to the well one too many times. When she tries to lock in a headlock on a downed Layla again, Layla sees it coming, almost anticipating it, and pulls herself away from where Paige lands and like a cougar, pounces forward, locking in a side headlock of her own.

[Michael Cole]
Fool me once, shame on me, try to fool me twice? I don't think so!

[JR]
She's not got it all the way locked in just yet, that's not going to much in way of weakening your opponent.

[King]
Especially not the self titled, "Anti-Diva."

Paige quickly uses her strength advantage over Layla to pull herself up to her feet and repeats Layla's gesture, using the ropes to throw Layla across the ring, but it's going to take more than that to get Layla off. Now in the center of the ring, Layla's grip around Paige's neck tightens with every passing second, forcing the “Anti-Diva” to break out of the hold the only way she knows how. Paige wraps her arms around Layla's waist and lifts Layla up off the canvas, ready to bring the momentum back to her corner with a back suplex. Layla sees it coming and spins out of the side headlock mid move, hitting Paige with a variation of a crossbody. Not wanting this opportunity to go to waste, Layla runs towards the ropes as Paige makes it up to her knees, causing the former champion to drive the soles of her boots into the face of the current champion with a basement style dropkick, sending Paige flying backwards a small portion of the ring.

[JR]
Similar to the drop kick Layla delivered on Breakdown last week, though this time The Divas Championship wasn't driven into the face of it's holder!

[King]
Two feet to the face though doesn't feel good.

[Michael Cole]
No it doesn't, and the last thing we need is another chick walking around here with a protective mask over her face.

[JR]
I don't think Paige would be the type of woman that would hide a battle scar, if anything she'd show it off strong and proud.

The reigning Divas Champion finds herself back first against a turnbuckle, giving Layla another opening to keep the momentum in her corner. Layla charges at Paige, intent on regaining her Divas Championship, but as she gets within range, Paige throws her feet up into the air, sending Layla staggering backwards, returning the favor with a dropkick variation of her own. Layla isn't about to let that go unanswered and charges forward once more, but that quickly proves to be a mistake as Paige has tripped her with a drop toe hold, sending her face first into the middle turnbuckle. She takes a hold of Layla's hair and tosses her towards the center of the ring with force, causing the referee to give her a warning. Paige doesn't seem to care what the referee has to say, instead opting to begin scaling the turnbuckle.

[JR]
The referee's trying to keep this civil, but for all intensive purposes, this match cannot end by disqualifications, or count-outs.

[Michael Cole]
Stephanie made it clear two weeks ago when Paige got herself counted out in Layla's rematch that at Dead Mans Hand, Paige would lose the champion's advantage.

[King]
Which while helping Layla not get screwed again, also makes Paige take that referee's warning as lightly as possible.

[JR]
This match must end via submission, it cannot end any other way.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 XwdnNvJ

Upon making it to the top, Paige begins stalking Layla from the top rope, waiting for her to make it back up to her feet. The second she does, Paige launches herself off of the top rope, soaring through the air in what appears to be in slow motion for a few seconds before she comes crashing down on Layla with a crossbody.  Just when it seemed that Paige has regained control, Layla rolls through it and makes it up to her feet with Paige in tow. Paige begins attempting to break out of this predicament she's found herself in, but to no avail. Her attempts are futile as Layla takes a page out of Paige's playbook and throws her overhead with a Fallaway Slam, but instead of crashing onto the canvas, Paige is sent over the top rope and crashing onto the outside with a sickening thud.

[Michael Cole]
What in the....OH MY!

[King]
Layla's been hitting the gym!

[JR]
And studying the playbook of The Divas Champion, that's something she'd usually do!

[Michael Cole]
Looks like Layla's been working harder than we thought these past four weeks, she must have been hitting the weights every day!

[King]
I don't think Paige expected that, not even close!

The crowd erupts with a "Layla! Layla! Layla!" chant for the amazing feat that she just pulled off. Big things do come in small packages and she just gave everyone in the building, most of all Paige, one hell of a shock. Paige lies on the outside, broken from that understated and unexpected fall away slam. Layla had dropped to her knees after that, while she may have been working hard to be in fighting shape for this, you have to believe that even she didn't plan on doing that, it just sort of happened and she went with it. The referee quickly exits the ring, kneeling down by Paige, asking her if she's okay, if she's fine to continue or if he wants her to call it off. But in natural Paige fashion, though hurting, she gets up, shoving him so hard he falls on his rear, then her angry glare directly focuses on the woman that just threw her out of the ring like a rag doll.

[Michael Cole]
Paige is angry!

[King]
Paige is REALLY angry!

[JR]
Paige is steaming, if I were Layla I'd act fast.

Which is exactly what Layla herself knows she needs to do. Hearing an angry Paige sets off a light bulb in Layla's head. She gets back to her feet, looks over her shoulder seeing her slowly getting closer to the ring to return to it. So Layla takes a few steps back, yells out to fire up the crowd even more, then rushes at the ropes, gripping both sides of the top rope to hit a slip through drop kick on Paige, but things don't go how she plans. Paige side steps Layla, grabbing her by her foot and pulling her through the ropes for a cash landing. But instead of crashing, Layla lands on her feet, unable to prepare for what came next, which is Paige grabbing her by her shorts and ramming her gut first into the barricade!

[King]
Oh no!

[JR]
Good lord!

[Michael Cole]
Layla was one step ahead of Paige, but unfortunately for her, Paige was two steps ahead of her.

Tightly pulling a handful of Layla's hair, The Divas Champion starts throwing Layla's face into the barricade, not once, not twice, not three times, not four, but five consecutive times! Slowly slumping down the side of the barricade, the British beauty seems to be worse for wear, but Paige isn't satisfied just yet. She pulls Layla up, still with a grip of her brown locks, then gets right in her face screaming "You think you're in my league?!" and runs forward with Layla in tow. She sends her flying up over the barricade, but instead of crashing into the crowd, Layla manages to straddle the barricade and foil Paige's plan. Or has she? Paige smirks, not bothered that Layla didn't go flying over the barricade and to the floor, because now she's got another idea, an idea that sees The Divas Champion hop up onto the barricade, both feet barely able to fit on the small width space. But she's not planning on being up there for long, she pulls Layla up, tries to hook her head, is she going for a DDT?! No! Layla with a few good elbows to the side breaks out of the shirt lived headlock, then with a quick grab of Paige's hair, she jumps off the barricade, taking her with her! With a loud thud both of their faces bounce off the protected floor, but while protected, there was nothing that felt good about that!

[JR]
Oh god! That was gruesome, Layla tried to do some damage to Paige, but it looks like Paige grabbed her at the last second so that she'd be dealt the full damage as well!

[Michael Cole]
Luckily the concrete flooring was covered, but a fall from that height, with your opponent making sure your face hits the floor as hard and as head on as possible, you're going to feel like you just got smacked in the face by a thousand hands!

[King]
Quite the analogy Cole, but you might be right, there was nothing pretty about that impact.

A resounding "This is awesome!" chant breaks out, it's still so early into the contest, but these ladies are giving it their all, pulling out all stops from the get go. Layla rolls on the floor, holding her nose, Paige rolls the opposite direction, holding her jaw. Both Brits will be feeling that in the morning, but this is far from finished, and they're far from finished. They don't spend long on the floor, they have the same time, getting closer to the barricade to pull themselves up, and they're up! Turning their heads, they spot each other, and rush at one another as if they were each other's prey. Paige swings for a clothesline, Layla ducks under, waits for Paige to turn around, goes for a roundhouse, but Paige drops down in time to avoid it. Layla's ankle nearly collides with the ring post, but she's able to stop her kick from colliding with the steel post. Or so she thought, Paige rises back up, grabbing her by the bottom of her shoe, then swings her leg like a base ball spat, smacking it off the ring post!

[Michael Cole]
Layla's ankle has gotta be in bad shape after that!

[King]
Paige ducked the round house, Layla stopped herself from self infliction, but Paige was there, ready and waiting to happily do the damage herself.

The piercing screams out of Layla's mouth as she falls to the floor, clutching her ankle tell the tale of a story that in this moment doesn't seem to have a happy ending. Whether it's the shock, the pain, or all of the above, she's hurting right now and luckily for her, the only lucky thing right ow, is that she's not in the ring, so she can't be made to tap out. Her luck runs out a second later, The Divas Champion Paige pulls her up off the floor, and rolls her into the ring, following her in and like a shark seeing blood, she strikes. Grabbing a hold of Layla's right foot, she holds it against the mat, then jumps up, hitting a double foot stomp right onto the slowly shattering ankle! Layla screams again, but the worst has yet to be done.

[Michael Cole]
Layla's had trouble with that right leg many a times through her career, typically it's been the knee, but thanks to her "friend" she might now have a new weakness in that already tender body part.

[JR]
Layla's gotta do something, if she doesn't stop the damage from being done, the damage will be done and there will be no coming back from that.

Paige shows no mercy or sign of stopping the damage, she could try to apply a submission now, but what would be the fun in that? If she keeps targeting her fellow Brit's ankle, then it's only a matter of time before one submission will be all she wrote. Repeating her steps from just a moment ago, Paige centers Layla's ankle, jumps up....but Layla moves her ankle out of the way, and Paige's feet stamp the mat. She recovers though, not flinching from hitting the mat that hard, but that wasn't Layla's plan. She uses her left leg now to trip Paige up, sending her falling backwards, right on top of a ready and waiting Layla. Her legs wrap around Paige's body, her arms pulling Paige into a sleeper hold! But this is no traditional sleeper hold, her legs are applying pressure on Paige's ribs, her arms trying to make Paige slowly slip away.

[King]
How about that! Layla's got Paige in a Sleeper hold with a body scissor lock.

[JR]
That's one way to turn the tide, Paige fell right into her trap.

[Michael Cole]
I'll give it to Layla, that was smart thinking.

Like a Venus fly trap, Layla's caught Paige and she's not letting go! A "Tap!" chant starts up right away, Paige is far from the favorite, but will she tap? The referee gets in close, trying to ask Paige, but she just screams in his face, swinging her elbows back to hit Layla anywhere, anywhere to make her release her hold, but to no avail. She starts to slip, her arms lowering...her eyes shutting just a bit more...Paige might be about to tap out, which is essentially a way she could lose. Doing everything she can to to keep the hold tight, and unbroken, Layla amps up the pressure even more. The referee tries to grab Paige's limp noodle like arm, but that's when she lets out a scream that nearly destroys his ear drums, but also destroys Layla's hope of winning in this very moment. She powers up, Layla's submission still in tact, though not as effective as it first was, then she charges backwards, sending Layla into the corner with as much force as she could muster.

[JR]
It looked bad for The Divas Champion, but she's out of that sleeper, and now she's even angrier.

[King]
If that's even possible at this point.

[JR]
Oh believe me, it's possible.

[Michael Cole]
That's the look a woman that's about to make Layla pay for almost making her pass out.

[King]
For Layla's sake, let's hope she's ready for it.

In prime position for one of Paige's signature moves, and now trapped in the corner, Layla begins to get rocked in the noggin by back elbow after back elbow. Once, twice, three times, four, five, six, seven, she hits them so many times that Layla might now not know how to count past ten. Though the referee can't do anything about Paige having Layla stuck in the corner,  he tries to tell her to calm down, to which she backs away, turning her back and screaming out to the dismay of the Las Vegas fans.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 ByjvCD2

With distance between both Brits now, Paige turns around, and gets a running start as she readies to go back on the assault. Launching off the mat, she leaps, but Layla quickly thinking uses the ropes to pull herself up, and Paige's face collides right into the top turnbuckle. Now seated on the top rope, Layla's legs wrap around Paige's neck, and we've got ourselves another submission! Though not the typical sort of submission because she's at the ropes, which means under normal circumstances the referee would force a break, but she can't in this match. Luckily for Paige though, she also cannot be made to submit in this hold either. Knowing this herself, Layla does what she needs to in this moment. She falls back, in a handstand while choking Paige out with her lethal legs. Paige deals with this situation like a true master of her craft, powering out of the hold, freeing herself from Layla's legs, then with a devious smile on her face...she pushes Layla's legs forward, sending her crashing to the outside floor with a sickening thud!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 A4fWyH2

[JR]
Good gawd almighty, that's one of the risks you take when putting yourself in that position, and I believe it's fair to say that's one risk that didn't pay off.

[King]
Layla went toppling to the floor, I can't even see her anymore, who knows what kind of damage was done from that.

[Michael Cole]
She could've hurt her hands, her head, her legs, her whole body from that. Paige learned from England's finest wrestling family, and as we're seeing tonight, they taught her well.

[JR]
Things don't look good for Layla in this moment in time, but things can change within a few seconds at any time, so I wouldn't start making any bets just yet.

While Layla remains lifeless on the outside, Paige gathers her breath, taking advantage at the situation she's presented herself with. She pulls herself off all fours and makes it up to her knees, looking outside at a semi conscience Layla, who's slowly starting to shake the cobwebs. Down but not out, Layla stats to slowly make it up, taking a bit longer than usual, giving Paige time to assess the situation and come up with a way to keep the momentum in her favor. Seemingly as if a light bulb has gone off in her head, Paige rises up to her feet and steps out onto the ring apron, sizing up Layla for something big.

[King]
What's Paige looking to do here?

[JR]
There's no telling, King.

Layla eventually makes it to a knee before making it up to her feet, but is grabbed by her hair, getting put in perfect position for Paige to launch herself off the apron and onto Layla, sending the British Beauty tumbling back onto the thinly layered padding on the outside with a Hurricanrana. Paige makes it up to her feet and lets out her signature scream, causing it to echo throughout the arena as Layla is on her knees, her back arched and a hand placed on her lower back before she falls back down onto the padding.

[Michael Cole]
What skill, that is our Divas Champion ladies and gentlemen!

[JR]
Paige is all about bringing the pain, even at her own cost, that could've gone very badly very quickly.

[King]
Something tells me Paige wasn't at all worried about the risk.

Paige's innovative offense has once again kept the momentum in her corner, but for how long? Not giving Layla a moment to catch her breath or recover, Paige takes a hold of her hair, forcefully pulling her up to her feet before taking a hold of her arm. She follows up by using her strength to her advantage and tries to Irish Whip Layla into the steel steps but even in this dazed state, Layla's instincts kick in, causing her to counter the attempt into one of her own. But this proves to be futile as Paige takes her free arm and hits Layla's wrist with it, causing her to release her grip and giving Paige the opening to take two handfuls of her adversary's hair, throwing her into the steel ring steps with as much strength as she could muster, nearly causing them to come apart. Layla goes back first into the steps with a sickening thud, some members of the live audience in attendance averting their eyes.

[JR]
Human flesh was not meant to be thrown into steel like a sack of potatoes!

[King]
I don't think anything was meant to be, but all I can after that is...ow...

Paige takes a couple steps back, clearly in control of the match, and sizes up Layla, who's still tightly gripping her lower back in pain. She fights through it, slowly making it back up to a knee with an assist from the steps that were just used against her. A few seconds later, Paige charges forward, ready to put the exclamation point on this attack, but just as she gets within range, Layla trips Paige up with a drop toe hold, sending the self proclaimed “Anti-Diva” face first into the ring steps, the momentum now up for grabs once more.

[Michael Cole]
That could've broken Paige's jaw!

[JR]
An eye for an eye, Cole. Layla's roughing Paige up the same way she's done to her.

[King]
It was fast thinking from The British Bombshell, but she's going to have to do a lot more to make someone like Paige give up.

With both champion and challenger fighting to get back into this match, the ongoing struggle to gain control of the match is far from over. Layla remains favoring her lower back while Paige seems to now be favoring her face, more specifically, her jaw. Layla is the first up to her feet, and returns the favor from earlier by taking a hold of Paige's hair and dragging her towards the barricade. A quick shove later and Paige is sent abdomen first into said barricade, but she isn't done there. Layla grabs the belt of Paige's shorts, pulling the “Anti-Diva' back towards her before shoving her into the barricade once more.

[JR]
The crowd is loving every single second of this, Paige is getting her just deserts.

[Michael Cole]
She can throw her into the barricade all she wants, that's not going to win her this match.

Layla repeats the gesture one more time, yielding the same result, and the only thing keeping Paige up is the barricade. With Paige right where she wants her, Layla takes a few steps back before charging forward, driving the soles of both her boots into the exposed back on Paige with a dropkick, sending the Divas Champion down to her knees, one arm still on the barricade while the other tends to her lower back. Layla is far from done,  taking a few steps backwards once more and runs forward, catching a still recovering Paige with a Booty Bump into the barricade.

[Michael Cole]
Come on now, what was the point in that?

[JR]
While unconventional, any part of the body can be used as a weapon, Cole.

She throws her hands up into the air, garnering a positive reaction from the live audience in attendance but all it seems to have done is infuriate Paige, as it appears that the Divas Champion has gotten a second wind. Paige shakes the cobwebs off before pulling herself up to her feet. Layla sees this and tries to put a stop to Paige's apparent incoming comeback by going for a knock out Roundhouse Kick, which is ducked just barely. Layla's now in no woman's land, her back towards Paige, who takes advantage of this new found position and quickly hits Layla with a Paige Turner, sending the challengers back and head into the barricade behind them.

[King]
WHAT TH-....DID THAT JUST HAPPEN?!

[Michael Cole]
It did, and now Layla might wanna quit the cutesy crap, because there wasn't anything cute about that.

[JR]
It looks like Paige's shoulder clipped the barricade as she dropped down, that could leave her open for an armbar later.

[Michael Cole]
That's if Layla can actually lock one in.

Neither woman comes out from that unscathed, Paige seems to be favoring her left shoulder while Layla is holding the back of her head. Paige struggles to use the barricade to her advantage and pick herself up, while Layla doesn't seem to know where she's at, much less capable of taking advantage of this situation. The momentum is once again up for grabs, but which of these fellow Brits will be the one to take hold of it? The match may not be able to end outside the ring, but it sure can be put to an end if neither person can continue. Layla begins to regain her composure as the sounds of the live audience in attendance are heard chanting her name, fueling her to fight to regain the momentum.

[JR]
The war to stand up is on, they've pushed themselves to the point of no return. If they give up now it's all for nothing. But if they don't give up soon, it could have serious career complications.

[Michael Cole]
In a Submission match it's very easy to suffer an injury, pride takes precedent over the logical choice nine times out of ten.

[King]
The British are some of the most prideful, so that's no surprise.

Paige has seemingly given up on using the barricade, instead opting to try her luck using the apron while Layla makes it up to a knee, placing a hand on the barricade. The race to see who makes it to their feet first ensues, resulting in Layla somehow managing to beat Paige by a split second, the former using the barricade to push herself towards Paige, shoving her into the ring steps, but the “Anti-Diva” stops herself from colliding into them, foiling Layla's plan. This doesn't stop the challenger from charging forward to finish the job, but gets a knee to the gut for her efforts. With Layla doubled over, Paige takes a hold of Layla's hair and slams her face into the ring steps before tossing her over them, causing the challenger to land on the opposite side of said steps and a mere few feet from the announcers table. Paige quickly comes to regret her decision as now she has exert more energy to walk around the steps to inflict more pain upon Layla. She quickly turns that negative into a positive as she takes a hold of Layla's head, dragging her towards the announcers table, driving her head into it.

[Michael Cole]
Uh-oh, they're bringing the action just a little bit too close!

[JR]
We might want to take a few steps back.

[King]
Way ahead of you, JR.

Paige pulls the cover off of said table, tossing it aside before clearing the table of the paper and other miscellaneous objects, opting to remove the monitors last. She climbs up onto the table, pulling Layla up onto shortly after. Paige lets out her signature primal scream, signaling that she's ready to put an end to this match, but how can she do that if she's outside the ring? It quickly becomes apparent what she has on her mind as she begins setup Layla for the Paige Turner. Before things could end badly for the British Beauty, Layla spins out of it at the final possible moment and takes a hold of Paige's neck, an all to familiar setup to the Layout.

[King]
A Layout on the table?! That's not practical at all!

[JR]
Think about this Layla, this is not a good idea!

Knowing that this would inflict much more damage to herself if done like this, Layla quickly comes up with a solution to the dilemma she's in and hops off the announcers table, her arms still wrapped around Paige's neck, hitting Paige with a variation of the Layout, the name of the maneuver ringing true as Paige is in fact laid out. The table remains standing as Paige's lifeless body slowly falls off onto the thinly layered padding with a soft thud, the momentum now clearly in Layla's corner.

[Michael Cole]
I DON'T BELIEVE IT! She just broke her damn neck!

[King]
It's called the Layout for a reason, and what a Layout!

[JR]
Our announce table seems to be safe for now, but Paige's neck has gotta be in excruciating pain after that. Not only she get dropped down by the momentum of Layla jumping off the table, but the back of her neck bounced off the edge of our table!

The match is all but won as it is now a race against time to get Paige into the ring and lock in a submission maneuver to end this contest and regain the Divas Championship, but it's much easier said than done. Both these former allies have already put the other through hell for the entirety of this match, and to say that they're both running on fumes is an understatement. Layla struggles to pull Paige's lifeless body to the ring, wasting precious time with every passing second. Layla starts making progress, slowly but surely, but it must feel like she's trying to pull a ton of bricks into the ring. Seemingly giving up on this approach, Layla takes a hold of Paige's head, slowly pulling her up to her feet, but just as she gets to a vertical base, without warning, Paige wraps her arms around Layla's waist, and using all her remaining strength, drives her back first into the ring steps, causing the top portion to come undone and topple over.

[King]
That had to hurt!

[JR]
Layla wanted to get Paige back in the ring to lock in some sort of submission I imagine, but Paige in a last ditch effort did the only thing she could do in that moment.

[Michael Cole]
Now they're both out again, someone needs to get the other back in the ring to lock in a submission while they still have the strength to.

Both women drop down to the padding, exhausted but not defeated. Layla is out on her back while Paige is on her knees, the war for momentum being far from over by the looks of it. Still feeling the effects of the Layout on the table, Paige doesn't immediately capitalize on the situation, instead conserving her energy until she needs it. Her eyes focus on the fallen Layla before they drift over towards the bottom portion of the ring steps, a sinister idea hatching in her mind. With the help of the ring apron, Paige makes it up to her feet as Layla uses the bottom portion of the steps to make it to her knees. Paige quickly takes advantage of Layla's position and wraps an around around her neck, causing the British Beauty to begin unloading wild shots towards Paige's exposed abdomen, but her attempts prove futile after a few clubbing blows to Layla's exposed back. Paige throws Layla's arm over her head, and elevates herself off the ground by climbing up onto the steps, pulling Layla up with her.

[JR]
I don't like the look of this...

[Michael Cole]
This could be it, this could be it! If Paige is looking for what I think she's looking for, Layla's done!

[JR]
I wouldn't go betting on that just yet, Cole. Remember, Layla's done some pretty astronomical things when people have doubted her.

[King]
She's a tough little lady, but how tough can one person be, whether you're man or woman, everyone has their limit.

Paige takes a hold of Layla's leg and pulls her up off the ground, but that doesn't last long as it appears that Paige barely has the energy to hold Layla up for a split second, let alone a couple, dropping her onto the bottom portion of the ring steps head first with a Cradle DDT. Paige doesn't come out of that unscathed, her back stretched across the entirety of the perimeter of the steps as Layla's lifeless body falls off the side and crashes onto the padding with a thud.

[JR]
No god, no!

[King]
I hate to say it, but Cole's right...there's no coming back from that, there's just no coming back.

[JR]
One silver lining, Paige hit those steps hard, perhaps too hard.

[Michael Cole]
This match is out of control, they're supposed to make the other submit, not go to such extreme lengths to hurt your opponent!

[JR]
This about much more than The Divas Championship, we're talking a year of history between these ladies, and a lot of bad blood has been accumulated the last two months. This could be the end, the final clash, it's now or never, and they're not taking any chances at leaving less than a hundred percent of themselves out here.

Broken from her own throwaway of caution, Paige rolls over onto her stomach, pressing up on the steps, forcing herself to stand. She's hurt, she may have done damage to Layla, but she's done a lot to herself as well, damage that could cost her if she doesn't lock in a submission and force Layla to give up immediately. Layla's limp, she hasn't moved since her skull was driven into the steps, so it makes it especially more difficult for Paige to pull her up. Her back is giving her trouble, and she winches each time she tries to lift Layla. Fighting through it, Paige finally pulls Layla off the steps, getting her as close to the apron as possible, then pushes up, attempting to roll her in, but she's not strong enough to. She's taken away her own strength, whether it was her shoulder being hurt earlier, or her back giving her so much trouble, she's not able to get Layla onto the apron.

[King]
Layla's dead weight, and Paige can't support it.

[JR]
You try lifting anything with a hurt back, and you're just asking for something to go wrong.

[Michael Cole]
But she has to, she can't make Layla submit on the outside.

[King]
It's strange to see Paige struggle, she's usually a bit power driven, but it's as if her offense has been neutered now.

Paige grips Layla's shorts, grabs a handful of her hair, doing what she can to muster up the strength, but pulling on Layla's hair has awoken her from the shock, pain and everything in between. Layla's still dazed but she does what she must, throwing back elbows into the ribs of Paige, then due to Paige's sluggish movement, Layla grabs her by her hair, returning the favor with a hard yank, then drives her face into the edge of the ring, and shows that she's not had her strength zapped by pulling her up on the side of the ring, and rolls her under the bottom rope. The crowd cheers, Layla slides in behind her, ansd is ready to reclaim what Paige took from her at Final Stand. She pulls Paige's shoulder back, the one that got clipped by the barricade moments ago, locks her legs around it, allowing her thighs to tighten around it, then completes this incoming torment by binding her fingers close together around Paige's face, successfully applying her take on a cross face!

[JR]
Look at that, Layla's locked in a Submission that would make Daniel Bryan quite proud!

[King]
That's the perfect move she could have locked in, it targets Paige's shoulder, it bends her backwards straining the already hurt back, and it plays up her neck nearly being broken when she hit The Layout off our announce table!

[Michael Cole]
This can't be it....surely it's not it?! PAIGE CAN'T TAP OUT TO LAYLA!

Or can she? The crowd sure wants it to happen, the noise getting louder, the cheers at a match high, and Paige does not look to be in bliss at all. She screams as Layla screams too, applying the pressure as much, and as far as she's able to. "Tap! Just Tap!" The former champion screams into the ear of the woman that made her tap out when the roles were reversed. Paige's hand shakes above the mat, her fingers clinch at times, before going back to a fully open hand, you have got to believe that she does not want to tap out. But does she have a choice? She's in the center of the ring, Layla's got one arm trapped, and she's amping up the pressure little by little. The longer Paige lasts, the more Layla relieves the pressure for a second, before jerking Paige's head back with the hold, going the route of inflicting more pain by repeating the initial moment that Paige feels the pressure each time. The fans in the building can be heard vocally chanting "Tap! Tap! Tap!" over and over, making this situation for The Anti-Diva, far worse than it already is.

[King]
This is bad, everyone here wants Paige to tap out, and she can't possibly hold out much longer!

[Michael Cole]
Don't include me in this, I don't want her to tap!

[JR]
You might not, but it's impossible to ignore the noise that's being made all around us. Layla's locked in a submission that targets areas that were damaged in their brawl outside the ring, it became a battle to who could lock in a submission first, and Layla's won that. But can she win back The Divas Championship too?

With every passing second, the pain gets more and more unbearable for the current champion, but will it be enough to crown a new champion? Paige, slowly but surely, begins making her way towards the nearest set of ring ropes, her only solace within reach, but that proves to be a challenge all on its own, not only does she have to pull her weight, she also has to pull Layla along as well, which is easier said than done.

[Michael Cole]
Paige is crawling to the ropes, but Layla technically can't be forced to break, the referee can't disqualify her, somebodies gotta tap to end this.

[JR]
Someone does indeed, and right now it looks like Paige might be the one to do so.

[King]
That's if she can't get to the ropes and maybe slip out of the hold, that's really her only chance.

Upon getting within range of the ring ropes, Paige puts most of her remaining energy in throwing her free arm towards the direction of the ropes, barely managing to tightly grip her hand around it, forcing Layla to break the hold. Instead of complying with the official, Layla keeps the hold locked in, refusing to let go. The referee can't disqualify her and judging by the state that Paige is in, he quickly comes to a decision and interjects himself for the first time in this match, and begins to pull Layla off of Paige, resulting in Layla slapping the taste out of his mouth as she begins shouting at him, inadvertently giving Paige a moment to regain both her breath and her energy.

[JR]
OH! Layla just slapped the referee across the face!

[King]
And he deserved it too, what kind of man puts his hands on a woman like that!

[Michael Cole]
The crowd is booing the referee's decision to pull Layla away from Paige, but she can't tap out if she's at the ropes, while Stephanie made it clear this can't end any other way than by Submission, there has to be level of order involved.

[JR]
Order or not, Layla is fuming!

[King]
That referee had no business getting involved like that, no business at all.

Many moments pass before Layla is done telling the referee how she feels about him, in a less than friendly manner. She turns around, a move she quickly regrets as she's met across the jaw with a superkick, courtesy of the current champion, sending both the British Beauty and the “Anti-Diva” crashing to the canvas. Paige slowly begins to pull herself up off the canvas, exhausted but far from defeated, using the ropes to her advantage.

[Michael Cole]
Layla took her eye off of Paige too long, and now she's down, but is she out?

[JR]
This never would have happened if that referee didn't interject himself into this match. He's supposed to call the submissions, not throw his weight around, or in this case, pulling Layla's weight off of Paige.

Paige stumbles to the center of the ring, taking a hold of both of Layla's legs, lifting them up off the mat and begins wrapping them around her right leg. Her intentions quickly become apparent as she attempts to bring this heated contest to an end the only way she knows how: With the Scorpion Cross Lock. Before she could get Layla turned over onto her stomach, however, the former champion shoves her off using her leg strength, sending Paige flying backwards and crashing onto the canvas, managing to land on her knees.

[King]
Paige was thinking Cross Lock, Layla was thinking no way.

[JR]
What does that to do the psyche of Paige, that move with ease won her the title, but now weeks later, Layla's ready for it, and she's not falling into it so easily like last time.

[Michael Cole]
That just speaks to Layla's ever growing in ring awareness. You can fool her once, but never twice.

Layla rises up from the mat, albeit seemingly dazed, causing Paige to begin her crusade to send Layla back onto the canvas so she could lock in her patented submission hold, but Layla has other plans, starting with taking Paige's legs out from under her and sending the “Anti-Diva” to the mat, allowing Layla to repeat her actions from six nights ago and attempts to make lightning strike twice by wrapping Paige's legs around her own, in an attempt to steal her rivals submission hold and use as her own.

[Michael Cole]
WHA- NO! SHE CAN'T!

[JR]
SHE CAN!

[Michael Cole]
NO!

[King]
YES!

Unlike Paige before her, Layla manages to flip the current champion over to her stomach, but not without a fight. Paige tries to scratch and claw her way out of this predicament, refusing to allow herself to submit to her own maneuver, but her attempts are futile as she's trapped with nowhere to go. Layla doesn't waste a single moment, she may be exhausted, she may be battered and bruised, but she's far from defeated. Layla locks her arms with Paige's and lifts the Divas Champion up off the canvas, locking in the Scorpion Cross Lock: The very same maneuver that led to her losing the Divas Championship in the first place a month ago at Final Stand.

[JR]
LAYLA'S GOT IT LOCKED IN!

[King]
History's about to be rewritten!

[Michael Cole]
This isn't right, do something ref....she stole that move from Paige! That belongs to her, it's her submission, SHE HAS NO RIGHT USING IT!

Layla pulls back on the hold, applying as much pressure as she possibly could, the sounds of Paige screaming echoing throughout the live audience in attendance, who know that it's only a matter of time before Paige submits, bringing an end to her championship reign the same way it began. With every passing second, excruciating pain pulses throughout her body, her pride not allowing her to submit, much less to her own hold. A “Tap!” chant breaks out once more, fueling Paige's desire to do just the opposite and continues fighting against the pain, but for how long?

[King]
Paige might utilize this submission, and it might have won her The Divas Championship last month, but it could be the very thing that takes it all away!

[Michael Cole]
I can't look...this isn't right....this just isn't right!

[JR]
This crowd is electric, they're chanting tap a mile a minute! How much longer can Paige hold on? After everything she's been through, there's no way she's got anything left in the tank.

[King]
Layla's pulling out all stops to take her title back, imagine how good it'd feel to win it back using the very move that was used against her and ended it all.

[JR]
Paige's hand is pressed against her thigh, she's fighting the thoughts that say tap, but I'd say they're winning! Look, it's hovering now...IS SHE ABOUT TO TAP?!

Determination fills Layla's eyes, fully aware that she has Paige right where she wants her and it's only a matter of time before she regains her Divas Championship. But that proves to be a challenge within itself, Paige may seem like she's on the verge of submitting and bringing an end to her championship reign, but that couldn't be further from the truth. She waits for the perfect opportunity to get herself out of this predicament, an opportunity that presents itself moments later in the shape of Layla ceasing on applying pressure to the hold, regardless of it being fully locked in, to catch her breathe for a moment before attempting to reapply pressure, an option that never sees the light of day.

[Michael Cole]
NOW PAIGE, NOW OR NEVER!

[King]
Exhaustion is playing a huge role in this, Layla's gotta be beat, but she can't let go.

The second that Layla lowers her guard, knowing that there's no way Paige could escape, the “Anti-Diva” throws her head backwards, the back of her skull colliding with Layla's exposed face, forcing the British Beauty to release Paige's arms and tend to her face, while still having the first part of the submission still locked in. Paige takes advantage of this and rolls out of it, turning the tables in an instant while planting Layla stomach first into the canvas. Paige takes a hold of one of Layla's arms, and struggles to get the other as Layla struggles to escape the hold.

[JR]
I don't believe it! Paige counters, she just escaped her own submission, and is locking it in!

[King]
Can Layla reverse again, or does she just not have it in her?

Layla puts up a valiant effort, but a few clubs to Layla's lower back causes her to arch her back, giving her an opening to take hold of Layla's free arm, locking in the Scorpion Cross Lock in an instant. Layla scrambles for a way out of it, but there doesn't seem to be, causing the live audience to begin chanting for Layla not to tap out. That keeps Layla from submitting for a few seconds, but with every second that passes, Paige pulls back as far as she could, inflicting as much pain to Layla as Layla did to her. After what must have felt like an eternity to Layla being locked in that hold, she's given no choice but to repeatedly slap her hand  across her own thigh, ending this match in an instant.

[Michael Cole]
YES! PAIGE RETAINS! PAIGE RETAINS!

[JR]
Unbelievable, these two women have left it all in that ring, I thought Layla had her, but if anyone knew how to break out of that hold, it was the woman that utilized it to finally become a champion, and now she's successfully retained because of it.

Paige releases the hold and collapses to the canvas, her theme playing in the background as she lays on the canvas, her reign remaining intact for another night. Both women left it all in the ring on this night, and after both bringing their A game, Paige is the one that walked away the victor of this match. Layla begins pulling herself to the ring ropes while Paige sits up, her back resting on the bottom turnbuckle.

[King]
This is it, the rubber match is over, and the superior Brit on this night, is The Anti-Diva, Paige!

[JR]
Tremendous effort on behalf of Layla, they really went out with a bang, now it's time for a new challenger to step up to the plate.

[Michael Cole]
After a defense like that, god help whoever challenges Paige next month.

The referee checks on Layla for a few moments before walking over to Paige and doing the same. Paige shoves him off, her pride not allowing her to receive aid from the official and struggles to make it up to her feet. While this was going on, Layla has somehow managed to make it up to her feet. As the referee retrieves the Divas Championship from the timekeeper, Layla cuts him off and takes the Divas Championship from him, and stands in the center of the ring, waiting for Paige to make it up to her feet.

[JR]
Wha-what...what's Layla doing?

[Michael Cole]
You lost, that doesn't belong to you, what a sore loser!

[King]
Don't jump to conclusions, Cole...

Paige does so and sees that Layla is in possession of her championship, causing her to take a few steps to meet Layla in the center of the ring. No words escape from either of them, instead, both former allies engage in a staredown, everything they've put themselves through being culminated in this match. A few moments of silence pass before Layla extends the Divas Championship over towards Paige, who slowly takes possession of it, resulting in Layla extending her arm towards Paige. The “Anti-Diva” looks at this, almost confused at it before swallowing her pride and extending her own arm, a show of respect forming between two bitter rivals in the shape of a handshake.

[JR]
I wouldn't believe it if I didn't just see it before my very eyes, what a great shows of sportsmanship.

[King]
The United Queendom, once again united!

[JR]
They started as friends, became enemies, and now they've come full circle, perhaps not the best of friends anymore, but two women that respect each other greatly.

After a few moments, they break away and Layla takes a hold of Paige's arm, raising it up into the air as Paige's theme starts playing again, a ceremonial passing of the torch taking place right before the very eyes of the live audience in attendance. Paige raises the Divas Championship high into the air, she's been pushed to her limit and is still standing, but more importantly, she remains the Divas Championship. The celebration is quickly cut short as Paige's theme abruptly comes to an end and is replaced with another.

[Michael Cole]
No! NO! NOOOO!!

With Madison Eagles' music blasting through out the arena the crowd start to cheer for her as she walks out onto the stage causing Paige slumps down to the mat, barely able to stand, the cameras switch the Madison Eagles as she starts to make a beeline down to the ring with her Miss Money in the Bank briefcase in her hands, as everyone in the stands looks on knowing exactly what Madison is planing on doing right now.

Jim Ross: I wish I could say this comes to a surprise, but here comes Madison Eagles with her briefcase in her hands, and we all know what this means.

Michael Cole: This hardly seems fair to Paige, she's just been through a grueling match against Layla and now she has to defend her title again against a fresh Madison Eagles?

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Let's not pretend this isn't the advantage on having the Money in the Bank contract, Madison knows that better than anybody. It's the very same briefcase that she cashed in last year to become Diva's champion the first time, and now it looks like she's going to do it again.

When Eagles reaches ringside, she slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope and forces her briefcase into the hands of the referee and removes her t-shirt and stares down the young champion in the corner of the ring waiting for her championship match to begin.

Jim Ross: She couldn't of picked a better time to do it either, just look at Paige, she can barely stand, there's no way she'll be able to beat Madison right now.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: You can't say we didn't see it coming though, Madison's been telling the world the she was going to do exactly this for weeks now, but there was no way that Paige would ever be ready for this after what she's been through tonight.

Michael Cole: That doesn't mean it's right, there's no way she should be forced into defending her title again right now, just look at her, this isn't fair at all.

Jim Ross: This has just played right into Madison's hands, I don't think she could of wished for a better situation than this. Sure she's been saying she'd cash in tonight no matter what, but I don't think she ever dreamt of this happening.

The referee leans out of the ring and hands the briefcase over to Justin Roberts as he instructs him what's happening so he can inform the crowd, despite it being obvious to the entire world what's going down.

Justin Roberts: Madison Eagles is cashing in her Money in the Bank contract!

When it's announced the crowd cheer and the referee signals for the bell to begin the match and without wasting any time at all Madison charges at Paige in the corner hitting the champion in the face with a Running Boot, pinning Paige up against the turnbuckle before Madison grabs the limp body of her opponent and hooks her arms behind her back as she hoists Paige up in the air before dropping her with a Butterfly Suplex!

Jim Ross: What a shot by Madison Eagles! She just caught Paige right in the jaw with that stiff kick! She's not playing around tonight, and it looks like she's trying to make short work of Paige tonight.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: That could be an easy task for Madison, Paige has a lot of fight in her, but there's only so much punishment one can take and I think she might of reached her limit tonight.

As the champion lays on the floor, Madison Eagles the challenger lifts Paige up to her feet grabbing her arm as she wraps Paige around her own arm then hits Paige with a Reserve STO and then goes for a cover as Eagles narrows in on the Diva's championship.

Michael Cole: NO! How is this fair? Paige can't even defend herself.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: What did I tell you, Cole? This could be over already.

1!

2!

Somehow Paige manages to kick out at a late two count, barely keeping this match alive, as her title reigns hangs by a thread.

Michael Cole: Paige kicked out! I don't know how but she did it.

Jim Ross: The look on Madison Eagles face tells the whole story, she can't believe it!

Eagles sits on the mat next to her opponent as a look of shock coming her face, not wanting to believe that Paige just kicked out after the Reserve STO before taking a brief moment to recollect herself and she grabs Paige by the head and starts to pick her up to her feet, but Paige catches her off-guard and rolls Madison up in a Small Package, trying to sneak a victory.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Small Package! Paige could have it here, this could be the upset of the year!

1!

2!

Now Madison kicks as she avoids the potential upset by a split second following Paige catching her off-guard.

Jim Ross: A close call there for Madison, Paige almost had her.

Michael Cole: Could you imagine if Paige retained her title tonight? Justice would of prevailed and Paige would be able to enjoy her moment after competing in a classic match earlier on.

Madison quickly gets to her feet where she's met by a Clothesline by Paige who wrenches Madison's other arm and pulls her slowly back up to her feet clearly still feeling the effects from the war she's just been through against Layla only to hit Madison with a second Clothesline.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: It looks like she's feeling a bit of a second wind, but how much does she have left in the tank?

Jim Ross: It doesn't look like she has anything left, she can barely stand up, her spirit is strong, but she has nothing left.

Paige drops to a knee, almost completely drained knowing that this match can't continue much longer if she's to stand any chance to retaining her title and she slowly pulls Madison back to her feet positioning herself behind Madison as she keeps hold of Madison's arm then wraps her spare arm around Madison's leg as she looks to end the match with a Paige Turner, but as she tries to throw Madison to the mat she breaks free, quickly turning around and hits Paige in the head with a big Roundhouse Kick as Paige barely stays on her feet, however it's fully clear that she has no idea where she is. Taking the opportunity to it's fullest Madison grabs hold of Paige, lifting her up onto her shoulders before planting her with Hellbound driving her knee into the back of Paige's head and then Madison goes for the cover once again.

Michael Cole: Hellbound by Madison Eagles! This one is over!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 XDYFWHK

1!

2!

3!

As the referee counts the three the crowd cheer as Paige's reign as champion has come to an end in what for her in the most unfortunately circumstances, but they don't seem to be overly sympathetic towards her. And the referee signals for the bell and the winner of the new Diva's champion starts to play through out the arena.

Madison gets back to her feet and the referee hands over her newly won championship and raises her hand in victory.

Justin Roberts: And the winner of this match, and NEW XWL Diva's champion, Madison Eagles!

She then takes her championship in her own hands, holding it up in the air for all to see

Jim Ross: And there you see it folks, we have a new Diva's champion in Madison Eagles.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Lightning does strike twice, JR. But you have to give credit to Paige, she almost pulled off an incredible victory.

Michael Cole: Paige certainly did catch Madison by surprise tonight, she came so close but it just wasn't meant to be for her tonight.

Now in possession of her new title, Madison exits to ring as she starts to make her way back up the ramp having achieved what she set put to do tonight.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 5/9/2014 - 5/16/2014 - Page 2 0T89EVs

Jim Ross: Whatever the case congratulations are certainly in order for Madison Eagles, a now two time Diva's champion. She's done exactly what she set out to do tonight and she's took the championship back.

Michael Cole: But you've got to think that Paige will be wanting to do anything she can to get the Diva's championship back. I'm sure this won't be the last we see between Paige and Madison Eagles.

With the cameras focused on Madison grasping onto her title half way up the ramp the cameras fade out to black ending the segment.

Apologies for how I didn't get to post Brock/Cena. We had something planned but then as you can see by Gaz having Brock now, things kinda went weird. Then I tried to do something with what I had, and ended up sending my promo to another dimension...

So the gist of it is, Cena vs Brock was meant to be a tables match, but it never went down. </3

ALSO Congratulations to the cobros!
