First I want to say how much I love the graphics, always a job well done. And second, I can't wait to read everyone's promos/matches, should be a great PPV, let's make it happen.

Agreed

Gonna try my hardest to review everything. Nonetheless should be an epic ppv. Can't wait to read the epic promos and matches. Perhaps I'll contribute. mischief

There’s a magnificent pyro display that lights up the arena and each explosion is as loud as the cheers of the fans who are jam-packed into this sold-out arena. There are brilliant flashes of red and black to go with the theme of the pay per view, as the cameras move about to showcase this beautiful set up complete with skulls. The ominous mood has been perfectly set, and you can’t help but get a feeling that sends chills down your spine that something bad is going to happen to someone, or even some people as the night rolls on.

But for now there’s a more upbeat vibe as the crowd is in a pleasant state as they break out in a cheer of “XWL” proudly showing their love for a company that has always delivered on the big stages and these people know they’re going to get their money’s worth and then some. Some of the stand-out fans get their five seconds of fame, with a guy wearing a Chris Jericho-esque jacket is shown, then there’s a man holding a “Chavo broke your doll and Ted will break your face” sign, a woman with a model XWL Divas Championship and then the little boys and girls strewn about rocking the gear of their favorite superstars.

If the pay-per-view is half as exciting as the opening pyro show then we’d be in business. You can tell by the cheers and chants of the fans that they’re ready, you can tell by the confident and sometimes hostile words of the competitors that they’re ready, and now the camera cuts over to the three man announce team of Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jim Ross to see if they’re ready to call what will no doubt be one hell of a show.

{JR}
Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Dead Man's Hand! We are live in Las Vegas for this highly unpredictable night, this will be unlike any XWL event we've held in the past, because it's a night where luck will mean everything.

{Michael Cole}
The arena is jam packed for tonight's festivities and our superstars and divas are now preparing for a night that could change everything, fate will be the deciding factor as a wheel is spun with a wide variety of options ranging from a blindfold match to a TLC match, the possibilities are endless folks.

{King}
Endless and exciting, we've already seen a few spins of the wheel throughout the past several weeks, such as our United States Championship match being contested in the first ever Shark in the water match, with an added no holds barred stipulation, Alex Shelley and Wade Barrett certainly have quite the challenge ahead of themselves with this one.

{JR}
Shelley of course defeated Antonio Cesaro a number of weeks ago to earn this right to challenge for the United States Championship tonight, while also having his hands full with a few wolves he's managed to perhaps find his way into his first United States title reign.

{Michael Cole}
That's if he can topple the brute foe in his way, the man that defeated Ezekiel Jasckson at Final Stand last month to become the champion in impressive fashion certainly has it all to lose tonight. Alex will be his first challenger and it could either be the first of many successful defenses, or his big title win could be cut short. There's only one way to find out we'll have to stay tuned for later on in the show when these two men go at it for one of the biggest prizes in this company.

{King}
In other title news we'll have John Morrison the reigning Intercontinental Champion have his near five month reign as champion put in jeopardy when he faces his greatest challenge to date, The Great One, The Rock!

{JR}
The most electrifying man in all of entertainment gets his shot at The Guru of Greatness, and folks let me tell you now that this match will not only be exciting it will be a true test for both men. The Rock's been in a bit of a championship drought since his World Heavyweight Championship reign ended over a year and a half ago, but that could finally end tonight if he can capture Morrison's title.

{Michael Cole}
There's been a level of disrespect between both, and that's what will prove to be a real test for John Morrison because The Rock has mocked him and treated him almost as if he's not on his level, but a victory here would not only bring about another successful defense, it would allow John to prove that he is capable of taking any challenger, no matter who, and come out on top. He'd certainly teach Rock to be more respectful too.

{King}
Plus there's no telling what the wheel will land on, that could end up being detrimintal to the outcome. Another match you'll wanna lookout for is Kane versus Randy Orton, in a match that was revealed a number of weeks ago, a bitter hatred filled rivalry will perhaps meet an end in a cruel and devious type of match, a Casket match!

{JR}
There is no love loss between these two men, they want to do nothing but hurt each other, and that's exactly what they'll have to do to secure that all important victory, beat the other to the point that you can slam them inside of a casket, and close it shut...symbolically giving this feud it's late rites.

{Michael Cole}
Of course throughout the last month we've seen some rivalries become quite personal such as Christian and CM Punk, they'll do battle in a match where Christian's briefcase is a legal object, but by the time this match is over there might not be a briefcase for Christian to cash in because you know he's fired up about what Punk did this past week on Breakdown.

{King}
You talk about personal, there's nothing more personal than video taping a man's wife unsuspectingly and showing it to the entire world! I've not had a chance to speak with Christian, but without a doubt he has to be perhaps more pissed off than he's ever been. It's been said if he doesn't compete tonight he'll be stripped off his case, but I don't think we have to worry about that one bit, Punk went too far and Christian's liable to really lose his cool here tonight.

{JR}
Though Punk knows what he's doing, he's very methodical in what he does, and while he may not be a favorite, he's proven to be damn good at what he does, and Christian could be blinded by rage to the point that he messes up just once, and allows Punk to steal it. Though another very personal rivalry we wanna talk about that's set to do battle tonight is one between Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase.

{Michael Cole}
Ted overcame a great odd after being fired for seven months and finally earned his job back by defeating Shawn Michaels at the fifth anniversary of Final Stand, the night after he was supposed to sign his contract in front of the entire world, including his wife and son who were in attendance to really appreciate the moment.

{King}
But that didn't happen as he planned...because the man that started the entire FireTed campaign returned surprisingly just as Ted was about to sign the dotted line, assaulted him into a bloody mess, and then capped off the evening as DiBiase's wife watched in horror by signing Ted's contract with his own blood....you just don't get more sick than that....that'll be with Ted until the day he retires....his bloody signature on the contract he fought so hard to achieve.

{JR}
We're unsure of what the wheel will land on when it comes to this match, but for Cody's sake it better fall in his favor if he wants to leave tonight on his own accord.

{Michael Cole}
At Final Stand we saw Chris Jericho successfully defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Joey Ryan, immediately after however The Men of Honor, AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose made their presence felt during the final moments by interrupting his celebration and potentially eyeing up their next victim...perhaps their biggest target since forming.

{King}
The night night Ambrose managed to defeat Dolph Ziggler in a number one contenders match to be come the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship, and shortly after took part in a very heated Highlight Reel with the champion himself.

{JR}
Heated is certainly a fitting word to describe it, as soon as Jericho brought up Ambrose's alcoholic mother...things took a sudden stand still, that is until Ambrose begins to attack Jericho, AJ Styles soon joined in, and they left the champion a battered and beaten mess...then Dean added insult to injury by stealing Jericho's World Heavyweight Championship for himself.

{Michael Cole}
Finally after weeks without his title Jericho took it back last week and ended up getting a bit of revenge by costing Dean his match with Samoa Joe, so you know Ambrose isn't happy about that, but Jericho has to be pretty happy to have his title back in his possession.

{King}
That of course is our main-event, and there's still one more detail we'll need to know, what will the wheel land on?

{JR}
Just like a lot of matches we're not quite sure, but you don't wanna miss that match folks, let me tell you that now. Dean Ambrose is a sadistic and determined man, and he faces one hell of a champion in Chris Jericho.

The American Wolves march out to the ring and the people don’t waste anytime showering them with boos. In what has to be the most convoluted best of seven series in recent history, The Wolves have fought back against the antics of The Guns by isolating them and relentlessly destroying them on back to back shows making the score 3-2 up to this point.

The Wolves have been locked onto The Guns since they returned and have made it their goal to embarrass them and injure them beyond repair. They haven’t been able to do that thus far, but tonight could finally be the moment where they prove they’re the alphas in this company.

Back in the ring now, The Wolves paces back and forth, eyeing the stage hungrily while they wait for their prey to arrive. The Gun have prevented them from making shows, “hunted” them in the woods, locked them in the cage, all to have a laugh at their expense… but no more. As far as The Wolves are concerned the laughs end here, and The Gun won’t be able to physically compete for the rest of the series.

Their music eventually fades away and now the chants of “Motor City” can be heard clear as day. The people recognizes and appreciates the team that has been here for them since day one, and tonight they’d love nothing more than The Gun finishing off The Wolves once and for all.

The theme of The Ersatz Tag Team Champions, The Motor City Machine Guns blasts through the speakers and when The Guns step onto the stage the cheers only get louder. The two teams, the four men, stare each other down wordlessly each realizing that in a few moments all hell is going to break loose. The Guns stand back to back and do their signature Gun Point and when they “shoot” pyro goes off. Sabin begins to make his way down, but Shelley sticks out his arm to hold him back.

Could Shelley be having second thoughts? Maybe he wants to preserve his body for his upcoming United States championship match against Wade Barrett later in the show which is bound to be a physically grueling battle. The Wolves are irate in the ring shouting at The Guns to get their asses down to the ring and The Ref is doing everything in his power to hold them back.

Shelley pulls out a mic from his inside vest pocket and raises it up to his mouth so he can speak.

{Alex Shelley}
Two words, Wolves: No disqualifications….

The Guns shed their entrance gear and it looks like this thing is finally about to go down.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 WDTYYmn

The Machine Guns race down the ramp and the four men meet in the middle of the ring and begin assaulting each other with stiff punches. Sabin and Richards break away from the group as Sabin gets this half of the Wolves back into the ropes. Sabin connects with a forearm to Richards’ face causing him to slump against the ropes then he backs up to create some distance. Sabin charges but Richards sidesteps Sabin and sends him flying over the top rope. Richards thinks he’s done with that battle but doesn’t realize that Sabin landed feet-first on the apron. Sabin grabs Richards and spins him around only to get clocked in the face with a punch. Richards takes hold of Sabin and attempts to suplex him into the ring, but Sabin is able to block it and instead he tries for a suplex of his own and when Sabin has Richards over the ropes and into the air he turns the suplex into a jackhammer and slams Richards onto the hard floor outside of the ring. Inside of the ring Shelley and Edwards are locked up and are in the middle of battling for control.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Dm4KDXY

Edwards manages to overpower Shelley and he backs him into the corner then quickly connects with a headbutt before Shelley could react. But Edwards doesn’t stop with one, he hits a second then a third then a fourth then a fifth and when he stops Shelley drops into a seated position. Edwards places his boot against Shelley’s throat and pushes as hard as he can hampering Shelley’s ability to breathe. Shelley’s face is turning red as he gasps for air while clawing at Edwards’ boot then suddenly Edwards’ breaks it off. He takes Shelley by the arm then pulls him to his feet and attempts to whip him into the other side of the ring, but Shelley reverses the throw and Edwards hits the corner back first instead. Shelley charges over into the corner when suddenly Edwards’ lifts his boot up hoping Shelley will run into it. Instead Shelley stops short and flips Edwards off then he takes Edward’s leg and drapes it over the middle rope and does the same with Edwards’ other leg. Shelley then drives his boot right into Edwards’ groin and he falls to the ground. Suddenly a loud crash is heard on the outside of the ring.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 K9AALp8

Shelley turns to see Sabin laid out while Richards stands above him with a chair in his hand. Instinctively Shelley goes running to the rescue, but trying for a suicide dive proves to be a mistake as Richards drives the chair into Shelley’s skull in midair! Richards raises the chair high into the air and the people let the boos rain down on him, but he doesn’t seem to care. Edwards rolls out of the ring still favoring the family jewels a bit, and Davey orders him to set a table up. While Edwards grabs a table, Sabin gets to his feet and Richards charges and drives the chair into Sabin’s gut and slams it over his back knocking Sabin back to the ground. Shelley spins Richards around and instinctively Richards swings the chair and Shelley ducks under and hits a dropkick sending the chair back into Richards’ face. Shelley picks up the chair and throws it down onto Richards’ torso. With a bit of a break in the action, Shelley takes a moment to play to the crowd.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 WO44eMA

Edwards comes out of nowhere and drives his forearm into Shelley’s lower back causing Shelley to drop to his knees. Edwards kicks Shelley hard in the back then grabs him in an inverted facelock then drops Shelley with an inverted DDT. Edwards drags Shelley over to the table that he set up and tries to roll Shelley onto it when Sabin comes to the rescue and connects with a dropkick to the back that knocks Edwards forward into the table. Shelley grabs Edwards before he can fall and rolls him onto the table then he orders Sabin to hold Edwards in place while he climbs to the top rope. Shelley gets ready to dive, but he’s stopped by Richards who hits the ropes causing Shelley to lose his balance and drop groin first onto the top rope. Richards climbs up after Shelley and goes for a superplex, but Sabin pulls him off the top rope and Richards lands on his feet. The same idea runs through the mind of Sabin and Richards as they go for kicks and find themselves in a predicament.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 OyyI8of

While they figure things out, Shelley tries to upright himself after that hard landing but Edwards doesn’t even give him a second to breathe as he scales the turnbuckles behind Shelley and attempts to hit a super back suplex onto the table outside the ring! With a few elbows Shelley gets Edwards to let go of him, and Shelley appears like he’s looking to hit the sliced bread. He kicks off and flips over but Edwards hangs onto the ropes and sending Shelley falling by himself and he crashes through the table and splinters of wood fly everywhere. Edwards leaps off the apron and drives his skull into Shelley’s back effectively doubling the damage. Inside of the ring, Sabin ducks under a right from Richards then he quickly kicks him in the gut and drives his boot into his gut and spikes his head into the ground with a DDT! Sabin quickly races to the ropes does a springboard…

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 FmQZ1AA

…and lands on Edwards with the plancha. Sabin gets to his feet and the people on their feet cheering that series of moves until Richards shuts them up by diving through the ropes and knocking Sabin back into the barricade. Richards smacks Edwards on the back twice to snap him out of his daze, and when that does he work he kneels down right in front of partner and yells at Edwards to get up. There’s too much at stake, pride, fake tag team championships, bragging rights, to take any breathers right now. Satisfied with Edwards coming to, Richards turns his attention to Sabin and by picking him up and dropping gut first onto the barricade. Richards leaves Sabin draped there then charges forward with a punt and nearly knocks Sabin’s head off his shoulders. Sabin falls over onto the crowd’s side of the barricade and Richards turns to see Shelley fighting back against Edwards who was trying to bring him to his feet. Shelley connects with a right, follows it up with a left and that’s as far as he gets before Richards attacks him from behind and together The Wolves roll Shelley into the ring. Edwards gets onto the apron first and Shelley kicks his legs out from under him and Edwards’ face hits the hard edge of the apron before he falls to the ground. Shelley stands to his feet and tries to kick Richards off too but it doesn’t go as planned.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 IzQjEgb

Richards laughs as Shelley tries to strike him, but he’s just out of arm’s reach. Richards then tugs Shelley towards him and headbutts him before quickly hitting a dragon screw that bends Shelley’s knee around the middle rope. Richards gets into the ring and watches with a sly smile on his face as Shelley holds his right knee while dragging himself away from Richards. Richards stomps on Shelley’s knee once, twice, then he quickly grabs Shelley’s right leg and tries for an ankle lock but Shelley quickly turns it into a pinning attempt and tries to steal the win:

1

2

Richards gets out of it and gets to his feet and nails Shelley with a vicious roundhouse kick. Richards pulls Shelley to his feet only to get low-blowed and Shelley pushes him back and connects with a desperation superkick! Shelley’s knee gives out and he collapses to the mat unable to capitalize. Richards and Shelley are both on their knees trading strikes, and it looks like Shelley is getting the better of his rival until he’s attacked from behind. Edwards pulls Shelley to his feet and throws him into the corner and as soon as he hits the turnbuckles Edwards is right there to clobber him with a forearm in sync with an enzuigiri from Richards, taking a page out of The Guns’ play book.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 JlOMze4

Edwards lifts Shelley onto the top rope and it looks like he’s going for a superplex but Shelley fights him off knocking him back to the mat, and as Shelley tries to up right himself, Richards, who’s still on the apron knocks him back down. Richards gets back into the ring and joins Edwards on the top and all three men go flying to the mat with a superplex! Edwards crawls over to Shelley and drapes his hand across his chest for the pin:

1

2

Kick out! Immediately Richards goes back to work on Shelley’s knee by taking his legs and putting in an excruciating submission hold.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 UXerZnt

Shelley is screaming as Richards has his legs twisted like a pretzel, but that’s only the beginning as Edwards locks in The Border City Stretch! Just like on the past Breakdown, The Wolves have Shelley in a painful looking double submission hold and there’s no way to tell how much Shelley has left in the tank. The crowd breaks out in a clap that stars off slow then grows faster and faster and begin to cheer as Sabin gets back into the mix. Sabin slides a chair into the ring then climbs onto the apron and neither of The Wolves are privy of his reemergence. Sabin springboards off the top rope and nails Richards with a leg drop, then he grabs the chair and whacks Edwards with it freeing Shelley from the painful submission just moments before it looked like he would tap. Shelley’s in no position to help meaning Sabin is on his own for now and he springs to action by hitting to ropes and knocking Richards down with a flying forearm.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 FGWb204

Sabin turns and drops onto his back to avoid a clothesline from Edwards, then he kips back up and hits a spinning back kick that doubles Edwards over. Sabin races over to the ropes and hits a knee to the side of the skull. Richards gets up and Sabin hits an arm drag, and when Richards immediately pops back up to his feet Sabin quickly hits a second arm drag and when Richards immediately pops back up to his feet Sabin leaps onto his shoulders and hits a hurricanrana. Just as Richards gets back to his feet Sabin grabs him looking to hit a DDT and when Edwards stands, Sabin hits him with an enzuigiri and plants Richards’ head into the mat with a tornado DDT.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 T0atFPT

Sabin tries for the pin on Richards:

1

2

He gets the shoulder up and Sabin immediately goes to see if Edwards is any worse for wear:

1

2

He kicks out! Sabin places his hands on his hips and takes a deep breath after being so close to victory two separate times within a few seconds. Sabin pulls Richards up and throws him into the corner when Edwards suddenly clubs him from behind. Edwards viciously stomps away at him until Shelley grabs him from behind and throws him overhead with a german suplex. It almost looks like Edwards lands on his head before he rolls back onto his feet and Shelley quickly takes him by the arm and throws him into the corner where he sandwiches Richards. Shelley charges forward with a shoulder block and drives his shoulder blade into the two men before getting on his hands and knees in front of them.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 49atj70

With that chair in hand, Sabin dashes forward, steps off Shelley’s back and hits a thrust kick that knocks the chair in Edwards’ face and the back of his skull into Richards’ face. That gets a big pop from the crowd as The Machine Guns emphatically take back control of the match. Sabin helps Shelley dispose of Edwards by throwing him out of the ring and they turn their attention to Richards. Sabin hoists him onto his shoulders and he’s moments away from ending the match with the cradle shock…

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 CMSfuij

he hits it!

1

2

Richards kicks out! Shelley and Sabin give each other a look of surprise and they both reassure each other that one more time will do the trick. Sabin lifts Richards onto his shoulders again and this time Shelley climbs to the top and hits a double foot stomp but when he lands his knee buckles under the weight and he falls to the ground. Meanwhile Richard starts to fight back and repeatedly elbows Sabin on the side of the head until Sabin lowers him and it’s Richards who goes on the offensive by lifting Sabin into the air then dropping him with a brainbuster. Thinking the impact is Sabin hitting the second Cradle Shock, Shelley turns right into Richards who thrusts him into the air and hits the alarm clock! Edwards slides into the ring while Richards kicks Shelley out of it, and Edwards wastes no time stomping away at Sabin before taking his leg and bending it in a way it really shouldn’t be.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 MiFOqx4

Edwards sits there on Sabin’s leg and yawns while the people boo his arrogance. Sabin sits up and reaches for Edwards’ hair but Richards kicks him in the face then presses his boot across his throat in a blatant choke. Shelley climbs onto the apron only for Richards to come charging over but that’s what Shelley was hoping he’d do as he pulls down the top rope which sends Richards rumbling out of the ring. Shelley goes a springboard but Richards grabs him leg and Shelley lands hard on the thin padding outside the ring. Richards pulls Shelley to his feet and throws him forcefully into the ring post. Richards climbs to the top rope and howls almost as loudly as the crowd is booing.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 QldbcUJ

Then he dives off and hits a double foot stomp and immediately goes for a pin while Edwards still has that leg lock synched in:

2

Sabin gets his shoulder up, but Richards forces it back down and pins him again:

1

2

With what little energy he has left Sabin thrusts his arm into the air. Richards unloads with a flurry of punches onto Sabin’s unprotected face, then he tries once more for the pin:

1

2

Shelley pulls The Ref out of the ring! Shelley apologizes to the official before sliding back into the ring and taking Edwards down with a bulldog. Shelley gets up and Richards is right there with a stiff kick to the leg that Shelley repays in full. Richards tries for a punch that Shelley blocks, then Shelley hits a side kick doubling him over putting him in prime position for The Sliced Bread. Shelley grabs Richards and steps off the turnbuckles but when he flips over Edwards is right there to catch him then slams him down with a powerslam. Edwards pulls Shelley up to his feet and gets ready to hit a powerbomb while Richards leaps up from behind….

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 3um1Wwe

The hit the brutal combo and it looks like that’s all she wrote for Shelley as Edwards goes for the pin:

1

2

Sabin breaks things up at the last possible second! Richards charges at him and floors Sabin with a clothesline. Richards grabs a handful of Sabin’s hair and pulls him up only for Sabin to drop back down with a jawbreaker and follows it up with a legsweep that knocks Richards off his feet. Sabin gets up and is greeted with a knee to the gut by Edwards and then a chop to the chest. Edwards hits another chop then lights up Sabin’s chest with one more. Sabin’s backed against the ropes now and Edwards takes his arm and tries for the irish whip, but Sabin hangs on for dear life with his other arm. Edwards tries to break Sabin’s grip and Sabin defiantly spits in his face. Edwards angrily charges at him and Sabin plants both his feet in Edwards’ chest and flips backwards over the ropes and onto the apron. Edwards again goes on the attack with a shoulder tackle through the ropes but Sabin steps out of harm’s way and kicks him in the face then flips over him.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 5QuyWub

Sabin lands on his and dropkicks Edwards’ butt which sends him tumbling out of the ring. Sabin stands to find that Richards still has some fight left him as he kicks Sabin in the gut then throws him over to the ropes. Richards sets up for the back drop a bit too early, and Sabin makes him pay by hitting a dropkick to the knee. Shelley springs into the action by bouncing off the ropes and flipping over Richards while holding his head in place while Sabin races over to the ropes and nails Richards in the face with a front dropkick. The people cheer as The Guns nail one of their signature moves while Sabin flips Richards over and pins him:

1

2

Kick out! Shelley tells Sabin not to panic and instructs him to bring Richards back to his feet. Shelley climbs up to the top rope while Sabin sets Richards up for a neckbreaker and it looks like The Guns are only seconds away from hitting Skull and Bones! But for the third time in the match, a member of The Wolves, this time Edwards, is attempting to knock him off balance. This time Shelley is able to kick him off, and Edwards falls off the apron.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 KNWSlG4

Shelley steadies himself then dives off, however, the few seconds of distraction was enough for Richards who shifts his weight so that Shelley lands on Sabin with the big splash instead! Shelley gets up in surprise and Richards charges forwards and takes them both over the top and out of the ring with a clothesline. Edwards slides into the ring and covers Sabin with no one else around:

1

2

Somehow Sabin kicks out! There’s a big pop from the crowd as Sabin keeps the match alive, but there’s no telling how much he has left in the tank. Edwards starts screaming at The Ref accusing of counting slow. He turns his attention back to Sabin and headbutts him before lifting him onto his shoulders for the electric chair while Richards scales the ropes.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 XV3EwY7

Sabin starts to fight back and hits Edwards on the top of the head repeatedly causing him to stumble around the ring. Richards shouts at his partner to stand still but that doesn’t seem to be happening as Sabin keeps the punches coming. Finally he throws himself backwards and spikes Edwards’ head into the mat with a poison-rana and both men are down for the count. Richards swears under his breath and starts to climb down but Shelley returns the favor from earlier in the match by pushing Richards off balance and he lands groin first on the top rope before falling forward onto the canvas. Richards slowly stands up then backs into the corner. Shelley runs at Richards and returns another favor from earlier in the match as he connects with an enzuigiri.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 7Ca6SoK

Shelley drops back to the outside of the ring, pulls a table out and slides it into the ring. The Guns work in tandem with Shelley setting up a table and placing Edwards on top of it while Sabin places Richards back on the top rope facing away from the ring. Shelley picks up the chair that was just lying there since it was last used and smacks Edwards on the chest with it. Shelley tosses the chair to Sabin who hits Richards on the back with it. Sabin tosses it to Shelley who hits Edwards again then Shelley tosses it back over to Sabin who hits Richards. They continue playing hot potato with the chair like that until Shelley takes the chair and places it on Edwards chest before he steps onto the apron and over to where Sabin has Richards set up. Shelley climbs to the top maneuvering himself so he can go for the sliced bread, while Sabin prepares to it a powerbomb and together they work to slam Richards onto his partner and the chair and through the table! Sabin lays on top of The Wolves for the pin:

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 1594247-1351294291

The Gun’s get an ovation as they help each other to their feet and The Ref hands them The Ersatz Tag Team Championships then raises their arms into the air.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 9RV2pVY

The Guns walk over to opposite corners and celebrate their hard fought victory a little more. The jump down and turn to see The Wolves working their way to their feet. The Gun try to help but they get pushed back as their help is refused. The Wolves finally do get back to standing and they gives The Guns the cold stare who in return offer a warm smile and a handshake offer in a show of respect. The Wolves look at The Gun’s outstretched hands almost in disgust and they leave the ring and walk up the ramp while being serenaded with the harsh sounds off boos. When The Wolves disappear backstage, cameras cut back to The Guns who still have their hands out and they opt to shake each other before continuing with their celebration. The PPV soons head to a video package of the upcoming battle between The Flawless One, Michelle McCool and The Tormentor of Souls, MsChif.

*Dead Man's Hand returns from a video package, hypig up the main event match between the XWL World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho, and the number one contender, Dean Ambrose, which is sure to be a grueling fight to say the least. As the package comes to an end, it fades to black before it begins to fade to another video package, this time it features the Divas Champion, Kaitlyn! As the image becomes clearer, its obvious that this is from earlier in the day as she is training in the gym, getting ready for her big championship match against Beth Phoenix here tonight at Dead Man's Hand.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 YDzwj83

*Kaitlyn's voice begins to be heard, not from the scene, but as if she was narrating the video.*

[Kaitlyn - Narrating] I've been the Divas Champion for somewhere between one hundred and fifty days to one hundred and sixty days, and each time I walked down that ramp I was as confident as I ever could be. Never really mattered who it was that I went against, never mattered if it was some stuck up British Diva. Never mattered if it was a diva who wanted to prove why she is an Anti-Diva. Never mattered if it was a twin looking for revenge. Never mattered if it was a fan favorite diva who some called foxy. All the scenarios have been the same, and I'm going to keep them the same for as long as I possibly can. The thing that worries me, the thing that keeps crossing my mind, is that tonight could possibly be tonight because I'm facing someone who is different then anyone I've faced yet. Beth Phoenix, Beth is unlike any of my other challengers and at the same time, she is more like me then any other challenger I've ever faced. It makes for a bad combination because with Beth being like that, I have to know myself to even stand a chance against her and as history shows, I don't have the best record against her.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 O1qSb9g

[Kaitlyn - Narrating] The last time I went against Beth in that ring was about one hundred and ninety or so days ago, sometime before I was champion and when I still had the briefcase of mine I'm pretty sure. I've been on a hot streak ever since I won the briefcase and the only person to truly put my fire out and beat me, the diva I'm facing here tonight, Beth Phoenix. This puts history not on my side and it's kinda hard to grasp the fact that this could be my last match as champion, could be for a long time, for be forever, who knows. I'm putting more work and effort into training for this match then any other match before because this match is make it or break it for me, I'm facing the top of the Divas food chain. I've seen what Beth is capable of, I witnessed it when I was watching her I Quit match against Layla at Final Stand V not to long ago and I either have to step up my game and stand a chance against her or fall and lose the championship that has meant so much to me over the last couple of months. History, history is on Beth's side while the future, the future is on my side and I'll change history to be on my side.

*The video begins to fade to black before it enters again, this time in color with Kaitlyn sitting their, talking to the camera.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Hvq1VaW

[Kaitlyn] I've always seemed to have doubt from others, may it be fans or critics, when going into a championship match. The odds, they've always been against me if you look at it. Triple threat match, Brie Bella versus Layla versus me. I had a thirty three percent chance of winning that and I still won. Steel Cage match, Brie Bella versus me. I may have had the same chance of winning the match as Brie, but if you look at things, she had her sister at ringside which could have played a huge role if needed. Same could be said with my next defense against Brie Bella, Nikki at ringside, still won. Come Final Stand, triple threat against Paige and Alicia Fox. Odds stacked against me, I won still. I've defied odds and now, I think I may finally have a match where there are no odds stacked against me. I don't think Beth is the type of person to have any backup or anything, and henchmen or partners to do her dirty work. She just doesn't seem like that type of person because she doesn't need them. So it's nice not having to worry about any outside interference from partners, other opponents, allies, and anything like that.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 9rbmaNS

[Kaitlyn] We each have our enemies like Brie Bella, Layla, Paige, just them to be specific and they have their own problems to deal with. The only person I have to worry about interfering in all this is XWL's Miss Money In The Bank, Madison Eagles, who can get a title match wherever and whenever she pleases. The odds have always been against me and being cashed in on would be nothing new for me, I'll still walk out the winner when she chooses to cash in on me. No questions asked, no questions need to be asked. I'm not that hard to find, if she wants some then she can come get some because I'm not gonna be a champion who backs down from a fight. She knows where my locker room is, she knows who I travel from show to show with, just say when and I'll be there. For now, I'll keep Madison in the corner of my eye, just so I see her enough to watch her every move while I focus on defeating Beth here tonight at Dead Man's Hand.

*The scene fades back to Kaitlyn working out in the gym, back to it being black and white. Setting the mood for a more serious scene, now that the fun and games are over with.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 7EKcSWj

*Kaitlyn's voice is heard once again as she continues to narrate the training video.*

[Kaitlyn - Narrating] Like, three or four weeks before I became the champion, Beth had won the title and it was in her grasp before she lost it to Brie in the Divas Championship gauntlet which I was not apart of for I was the Money In The Bank holder at the time. She is wanting that title back and she is wanting to become a three time XWL Divas Champion. She won't stop from getting it and I am unfortunately in the way of her mission. But the thing that some people may not realize is that it is my mission to become the greatest Divas champion this company has ever seen and Beth Phoenix is in my way of completing that mission. We each have our own mission, only one of them will be successful by the end of this as sad at it is, either myself or Beth will fail our mission. I'm not just going to let Beth win, she wouldn't want me to let her win either, but I'm going to fight my heart out if that is what it takes to keep this championship but I don't want anyone taking that the wrong way, I'm not going to cheat or anything like some divas would.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Ns7BwcJ

[Kaitlyn - Narrating] I'm not like that, I've never been like that. When I say I'll do anything, I mean I will try any move I have in my arsenal to beat her. I will bring in any new moves that are needed to defeat Beth. I've never been the type of person to need help form others to be successful in this company and I don't want the help from others to be successful in this company. It's nice for someone to have your back and all that but in the end, I want to just be me. I want this to just be me who steps in the ring and goes against Beth Phoenix. Not me and a tag partner, friends, or even an ally. I want it to just be Me, Beth Phoenix and the referee as the only people in that ring and even near that ring when the bell rings. Nothing to cheat either of out of a win, cheat us out of the championship that every Diva wants to capture in this business, the championship that I currently hold. That I will hold until I'm good and ready to give it up and tonight doesn't quite feel like the time to give it up just yet, maybe sometime down the road, tonight is just not the night though.

*The screen once again fades to Kaitlyn, back in color, talking to the camera as she still has that serious tone among her.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 RXHItwk

[Kaitlyn] I've been through a lot, I've had accusations thrown at me about arrests that I admit, they aren't rumors or anything and I'm not afraid to talk about them. I've never talked about that because it was never the right time and I've never talked to the right people, the only people I've ever talked to are people who are going against me. I've never really had allies here for some time now, I had AJ at one point but now I really have no one, it's just me and I've kinda kept things to myself. I've had people boo me out of the arena, only in certain parts of the planet for things I've said, and I'm honestly not ashamed of saying the things I've said about certain people. In the end of things, this is a game and I feel I'm playing the game to perfection over these past few months. The things I've done, the words I've said, the matches I've won, all fit together like a perfect puzzle and I regret nothing that I've said that may have offended any fans, any divas in the back or anyone else. I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to prove why I'm called XWL's Hybrid Diva.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 0FGe7SZ

[Kaitlyn] I've watched wrestling for years, I've seen what happens when your "friend" turns your back on you. I won't align myself with someone and let myself become the Marty Jannetty of two people while the other is Shawn Michaels, winning all the championships and being remembered as one of the wrestling greats. And tonight, I'm going to back up everything that I've ever said to a interviewer, to the fans, to any diva backstage. I've been doubted, doubted one to many times and I'm here to show them why their doubts are wrong and they placed bets on the wrong people. I have my fans out there, I thank them as much as I can for supporting me through my career and I thank them in advance for those who continue to support me as I stay on my path to becoming the greatest Diva this company has ever seen. All I've gotta do is never give up, never back down, never stop fighting, and keep reaching higher.

*Kaitlyn lets out a little smile as she picks up her championship, showing it off to the camera as the camera begins to zoom in on it, a little slow, before fading to black so the show can continue on.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 0Mz5g

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 07tH9QK

*Dead Man's Hand returns from a video package highlighting the events leading up to the United States Championship bout between the reigning champion, Wade Barrett, and the challenger, Alex Shelley, who's already successfully defended the Ersatz Tag Team Championships at the start of the show. Will settling a personal score end up costing Shelley the United States Championship, or is Wade just one Bull Hammer away from retaining his championship? The video package comes to an end as an image quickly shows up on the Titantron right after. It slowly begins to fade as none other than Dean Ambrose is shown sitting in front of the camera at an undisclosed location.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 8eiV1WY

*Ambrose makes eye contact with the camera before looking back down to the counter top, possibly replaying the events that transpired a mere six days ago repeatedly in mind. Almost instantly, he throws the bottle he has in his hand towards the wall, causing it to collide into said wall with enough force to make it shatter into a million pieces. He runs his hand through his hair for a moment before letting out a deep breath and begins to speak.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 YpE5Hon

{Dean Ambrose}
A man can only lose a “match” through pinfall, submission, countout or disqualification, and six days ago on Breakdown, none of those things happened. Samoa Joe, you didn't beat me last week, you didn't win our “match,” your hand was raised on a technicality. The referee foolishly awarded you with the win because he thought I was out cold. You and I both know that wasn't the case. I know what you were trying to do last week, Samoa Joe, and it wasn't winning the match. You tried to finish what you started, you tried to end the legacy of Men of Honor, you tried to take me out. Keyword there is you tried, but as you can tell, I'm still standing! You failed!

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 PP7FVp1

{Dean Ambrose}
Men of Honor will never fall to a single man, Men of Honor won't fall to a team, Men of Honor won't be destroyed by another faction. Men of Honor will never die! How does it feel, Samoa Joe? How does it feel knowing you failed? I've seen your track record, causing pain and destruction where ever you went. You don't know the meaning of failure, until now, that is. You want to take me out and put me out of my misery? Fine! I look forward to it! But we both know you won't, because you can't. You're weak, you're worthless.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Y39VVuf

{Dean Ambrose}
You had your chance to do every single person in this world a favor, and you blew it. You had Dean Ambrose right where you wanted him, you could have ended it all, but you didn't. You had the chance to pull the trigger and you didn't. It wasn't because of the goodness in your heart, it was because you didn't have what it took to carry the burden of being the one to finish off Dean Ambrose. You talk a big game, Samoa Joe, but you can't back it up. You have these people chant that “Joe is gonna kill you,” but what exactly have you killed?

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 J6NBIgS

{Dean Ambrose}
Even if you were to have the balls to take me out, it wouldn't be for long because Dean Ambrose can't be killed by a mortal man, I'm indestructible! I can't be hurt, I feel no pain. Better people than you have tried and failed, you will be no different, Samoa Joe. We gave you a free pass when you took out Corey Graves, he was a weak link and you did us a favor by taking him out. It was either you or us, and we got beat to the punch. That's fine, but when you decided against walking away with your head held high and ended up assaulting AJ Styles a few weeks ago, that said everything that needed to be said. AJ will be back soon enough, and when that time comes, we will pick up right where we left off. Men of Honor is gonna kill you, Samoa Joe!

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 BTOvK76

{Dean Ambrose}
But before I could focus on that, I must first turn my attention to a certain World Heavyweight Champion in Chris Jericho. You and I are nothing alike, Jericho, but you have something that I want, you have something that doesn't belong to you, you have something that you stole from me six days ago: the World Heavyweight Championship. It's clear to me that you don't know what you have in your possession, at first, I didn't really care for that championship, I just wanted to hurt you and burn this company to the ground.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Yc67Orj

{Dean Ambrose}
You don't deserve to be the World Heavyweight Champion, Jericho, you willingly let me take it from you without giving it a second thought. I took it from you and you did nothing in return, there was no retaliation. Why is that? Were you too busy pretending to be a rock star because you didn't want to face Dean Ambrose? Is that why you took the cowards way out and come out during my “match” last week? Jericho, I have nothing to prove to you tonight, but I'll tell you want I'm going to do, I'm going to make a statement at your expense.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 LbWQtIi

{Dean Ambrose}
Not just any statement, I'm going to show the entire world that you don't have what it takes to remain the World Heavyweight Champion. Win, lose, or draw, it won't mean a damn thing to me, all I'm concerned with is taking Chris Jericho out for good. I'm going to end your career, Jericho, and the World Championship will just be an added bonus. You say you're the best in the world at what you do, but all you are is a delusional has been who is past his prime. Your fate lies in a wheel that will be spun later tonight, and the best part about it is that it doesn't matter what it lands on, I'm going to be the only person walking out of that ring later tonight. Enjoy your retirement, Jericho, because that's all you're going to have left.

*Ambrose stands up from his seat, motioning for the cameraman to follow him, and begins to walk across the room. He stops in his tracks and looks down to the floor, the cameraman follows suit and a dog is shown looking up at Ambrose. Dean drops down to a knee, to get within the same eye level as the dog, causing said dog to try and walk away, wanting no part of Ambrose. He quickly grabs the dog's collar and pulls him in close before beginning to speak.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 PoMQOwP

{Dean Ambrose}
There's no need to show fear, dog, I'm not here to hurt you. I just want some answers. I know you ordered the Dead Man's Hand Pay-Per-View, and I know you weren't planning on being on it, but you are now. Answer me this, dog, who's going to win the World Heavyweight Championship, Dean Ambrose or Chris Jericho?

*The dog doesn't make a sound and tries to escape from Ambrose's grip, but Dean's having none of it and tightens his grip a bit. He goes from a kneeing position and sits on the floor, right next to the dog.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Nnq6NoG

{Dean Ambrose}
I'd say that you remind me of Corey Graves, he didn't say much either, but why would I insult you? I agree, dog, he didn't know what was doing. Just by sitting here, you've already got more balls than Chris Jericho, last time we were a few feet apart, Men of Honor beat him down and took the World Heavyweight Championship away from him.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 RneTK9F

{Dean Ambrose}
If I took this dogs World Heavyweight Championship, you can bet your ass that he's going to find me and try to get it back, same can't be said for you, Jericho. You can play the victim all you want, but we both know you got what you had coming. You said your kids didn't recognize you after Men of Honor left you laying in a pool of your blood. Maybe they don't recognize you because you'd rather be doing tours with your useless “band” or wrestling in front of these people instead of spending time with your kids.

*Ambrose lets go of the dogs collar and rises back up to his feet. He walks back to his seat and looks at the broken pieces of glass on the floor besides him for a few minutes ago. Dean stares at the camera for a moment before beginning to speak again.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 RGbZGkr

{Dean Ambrose}
Jericho, tonight, I will write the final chapter of your pathetic career. When the night comes to a close, you're going to be asking yourself one question. Why? Why did I decide to provoke Dean Ambrose? From this moment forth, this day will forever be known as the day Dean Ambrose not only ended Chris Jericho's career, it will also be known as the darkest day in the history of this company. Tonight will be when Dean Ambrose takes over the world, and if you're smart... stay out of the way.

*Ambrose gives the camera a cold glare for a few moments before he lowers his head slightly and closes his eyes, possibly preparing himself mentally for what he plans on doing to Chris Jericho in the Main Event later tonight. He runs his hand through his hair again and opens his eyes, noticing the camera is still there. He stares at the camera for a moment before speaking for the final time.*

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 7F41c71

{Dean Ambrose}
Tonight, Honor will prevail! Believe that!

*With that said, Ambrose storms off camera, possibly to look for a place to gather his thoughts. Footsteps are heard slowly fading in the background before the sound of a door opening and being slammed shut is heard echoing throughout the room. The cameraman pans around the room for a moment before the video comes to an end.*

*The camera opens up backstage with Kofi speaking with a young lady whose asking him questions about tonight's event and the events leading to it.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Dmh110

{Interviewer}
Kofi the past two weeks you've been being jumped by Seth Rollins and tie that in with your defeat at Final Stand to him and you could say this has not been your best month. Also, take into account the fact you missed a chance to cement your stake in the United States Title hunt when the medical staff would not clear you to compete against the champion Wade Barrett following you being put through a table can you give us a general recap of where your mind it at?

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Dmh211

{Kofi Kingston}
It's been excruciating trying to get through the proverbial glass ceiling and a little punk named Seth Rollins isn't making it any easier. I re-watched last weeks show and I agree with something Michael Cole said. He said it's my fault if I don't focus and be aware and that's what has screwed me this past month including at Final Stand. Rollins isn't a pushover, as witnessed the past two weeks. He beat me down as I was trying to leave the show and then while we finalized our match he threw me head first into the wheel and put me through that table, but this Sunday will not end that way, as a matter of fact I GUARANTEE that I win.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Dmh_310

{Kofi Kingston}
Now about Barrett, I was ready to go out to that ring and compete but the medical staff refused to let me go due to my obligation for this match here tonight. I could and would beat Wade Barrett if we faced and if at some point that involves the United States Championship around this waist of mine I'll be more than happy. It's my goal to be the best here in XWL and of course winning that championship is a vital part of that. Shelley and me had a hell of a match a couple weeks ago and Barrett got lucky last week with the medical staff. After tonight, win or lose me and Rollins settle all this stuff between us. It started when I did the right thing by standing up to him when he was dragging defenseless people's name through mud but now it's going to end with him buried under a pile of broken wood.

*Kofi steps off camera and out of the sight of the interviewer and cameraman as the segment fades out.

*The XWL cameras then become static as the lights in the main arena dim.*

[King]
What the?

[Cole]
I wonder who it can be!

[JR]
Cole I'm pretty sure everyone except you knows who it is.

*Immediately after JR says that the screen flicks on and we see Seth Rollins in a very dark room looking intensely into the camera he then begins to speak.*

[Seth]
All of my life I've been underestimated. Why do you think that is? Is it because I don't have a certain look? Is it because I'm too small? I've always been portrayed as either an underdog or an afterthought. Hell, even my brightest moments have been perfect examples of that. When I was fighting in the King Of The Ring tournament I was viewed as the underdog and when I beat the odds and did that to get into the elimination chamber for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, I was cast as the afterthought behind 5 other men. You people want to know why I hate you? How come you didn't cheer for me the loudest at Eye For An Eye? Where was the love when I was shown the door shortly after the loss at that event huh? You worthless sheep make me sick.

*The crowd rains hate down upon the King Of The Ring winner.*

[Seth]
Another thing that makes me sick is people who run, people who hide. Just like Joey Ryan hid from me last week. The man who came back and got a World Heavyweight Championship match at the biggest Pay-Per-View of the year, hid from ME! I'll give him some benefit of the doubt, I mean who would want to face one of if not the only men to pin The Rock twice in the span of 2 weeks! Most people in this company haven't pinned The Great One once and I did TWICE, the facts are simple, this company doesn't want me to succeed because I don't pander to the crowd or do Hollywood or have "The Look". The only look management should be concerned with is the look of despair you people will all have on your faces after what I do to Kofi Kingston tonight. But the despair won't stop there, oh, no you see, Blackout is coming, not just for Kofi tonight but for everyone. Everyone who has doubted me, everyone who thinks that I'm a joke or not good enough and to anyone and EVERYONE who stands in my way to the top you all will. Fade To Black.

*The static from earlier comes back on and the camera then fades to black.*

The Feast or Fired hype video comes to a close and the fans are getting revved up now that they know the match they will soon be treated to.

Jim Ross
We’re only moments away from the much talked about Feast or Fired contest where Damien Sandow, and as of last week: Jack Swagger, will put their contracts on the line against three unsigned talents who want nothing more than to officially get a position on the roster of one of the most prestigious wrestling organizations in the world.

Jerry Lawler
Now I can understand how Damien Sandow could be talked into participating in the match. He wants to become United States champion again so badly that he’s willing to put his contract on the line to get that shot. But what business did Jack Swagger have showing up out of nowhere last week and putting him in this match?

Michael Cole
I wouldn’t expect you to understand the motives of a REAL American. Swagger wants to show the whole world that men like him don’t sit on their backsides and let the world pass them by. They rise up and seize the opportunities and they’re not afraid to take risks.

Jerry Lawler
The people want to see Jack Swagger get fired, not set some sort of example.

Jim Ross
I’d have to side with King here, Swagger and Colter have done nothing but draw the ire of the crowd and I’m sure they’d love it if one of the three free-agents swooped in and stole his contract and his job.

Jerry Lawler
They feel the same away about Sandow too. Now that I think about it, these two are the perfect candidates for this kind of match. We could kill two birds with one stone!

Michael Cole
As the voice of XWL, allow me to speak for the people when I say that it would be an absolute travesty is Jack Swagger or Damien Sandow were to lose their jobs in this terrible match concept.

Jim Ross
Dead Man’s Hand is all about taking risks whether it’s letting a briefcase determine what match you’ll be competing it, or letting the Feast or Fired match dictate whether or not you’ll be a competitor in XWL going forward.

Jerry Lawler
Yeah, and both Swagger and Sandow knew the risks and agreed to face them. If they lose their jobs they’ll have no one to blame but themselves, and maybe Lady Luck too.

Jim Ross
Speak of the devil….

Sandow’s music draws sharp jeers from the people, and the camera focuses on a particular fan holding a pink sign with Sandow’s face on it. That perfectly sums up the feelings of the masses who hope with all their hearts that this is the last that they see of Sandow for a long long time. Sandow steps onto the stage and gives the look of pity to the people like he always does and thankfully he has a microphone in hand so that he can put them in their places.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 LUfkXcv

Damien Sandow
Silence! Tonight is the moment of truth for it shall be the night where I prove that not even fate can deter my ambitious desires. I will conquer the odds and remain an XWL superstar so that one day I will become the champion that you all so desperately need. An example will be made in that ring and a precedent will be set as I continue to be the lone role model in this company. I am the man that you should idolize because it is only I who provides the lone source of enlightenment as the darkness of ignorance threatens to destroy what little sense of self-worth you have managed to salvage over the pitiful years of your meaningless existence. I look at the men who unjustly and undeservedly hold a championship in this company and I can’t help but ask the question: Why? Why is a man like John Morrison, whose reign is being threatened by a man who doesn’t even compete on a weekly basis deemed worthy? Why is a man like Wade Barrett, who can’t even keep the miscreant and childish Alex Shelley out of his hair given more opportunities then I have been? Why has Chris Jericho, whose moral alignment is as fickle as the opinions of the ignoramuses that populate this arena, held on this pedestal and declared the best in this company?

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 0Ku3fA8

Damien Sandow
In due time, once I maneuver around this superfluous obstacle, I will inevitably hold a title and it shall become the most prestigious prize anyone man could hope to have in his possession. It is then that a standard of heights never before seen will be set, and decades after I have left my mark in the world of professional wrestling, fools will still struggle to touch that bar. It is not I who should be the recipient of these jeers, this is merely yet another prime example of how you have been misguided and how my intentions have been misconstrued. I do not wish to hurt you, I wish to help you, the unwashed masses, so that the current generation can cease poisoning the minds of the next. There is only one rightful path to follow to reach true enlightenment and only one man who can safely lead the way on such a perilous trek and you should all be directing your hatred and disdain towards XWL before putting that man in such a dire predicament.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 MkYDJiA

Damien Sandow
If I am forced out of this company then all that will remain are the false idols and prophets that you foolishly believes hold all the cards when they are as ignorant as the people that look up to them. That is why I fight, that is why I proudly stand as the beacon of light in the harbor of inequity and as the drizzle of rain in the desert of intellectuality. I allowed myself to enter this Feast of Fired match for I wanted to show all of you that good things come not to those you sit idly by waiting, but who are proactive and work for something they truly want. That is a way of life that has been lost on those who wish to be handed things on a silver platter, and I will be sure to lead by example so that you soon have no choice but to accept my words as something that you must adhere to if you truly wish to prosper. Tonight shall not be the death of my career, but a beautiful new beginning and you should all take solace in the fact that you will have the privilege to witness this with your very own eyes. You’re welcome.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 ZEiFACC

Jim Ross
It is nice to see that while being faced with potentially losing his job Damien Sandow is as arrogant as ever.

Michael Cole
Well why should he be worried? He’s hands down the smartest man in the match and…

Jim Ross
Well knowing all the great works of literature won’t help him choose the briefcase that will help him keep his job.

Jerry Lawler
Not to mention that with five men and only four briefcases he could lose his job by just being the odd man out!

The Pope, D’Angelo Dinero gets a nice reaction from the crowd as he steps onto the stage and throws his arms into the air. Money starts raining down from the ceiling and the people start scrambling to secure the bills with Dinero’s face on them.

Michael Cole
Oh come on, if you’re going to give away money at least let it be real.

Jim Ross
D’Angelo Dinero is certainly an extremely charismatic man known for his superb striking ability. He’s had his runs in XWL before, but winning a contract in this match will offer him the opportunity to start fresh in the company.

Trent Barretta comes racing onto the stage where he drops down to his knees and throws out his arms with his signature pose.

Jerry Lawler
And here’s an exciting young athlete who hasn’t cracked 30 yet.

Michael Cole
Jealous, King?

Jay Lethal comes out and point into the sky in tribute to Macho Man Randy Savage and the fans scream out “Oh Yeah.”

Jim Ross
Lethal has made a name for himself with imitations of wrestling legends along the vein of Randy Savage and Ric Flair, but he seems to have shed that and is now operating as his own man.

Michael Cole
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but all that is just a ploy by Lethal to mask the fact that he doesn’t have an ounce of originality in his body.

Jerry Lawler
All Lethal did was show respect to the men that he grew up watching and inspired him to get into the business; I don’t see anything wrong with that.

And out comes the final, and most recent entry into this match, Jack Swagger with Zeb Colter at his side. Swagger shouts “We The People” as if he were trying to get the fans to chant it along with him but they opt to boo him instead.

Michael Cole
Just the man I was waiting for, I can’t wait for Swagger to teach these people a valuable lesson.

Jerry Lawler
I hope that lesson isn’t the best way to collect unemployment checks.

All five men are in the ring now and they banter a bit while The Ref checks to make sure that they’re all ready. The camera zooms out to get a shot of the entire ring with the four briefcases handing from their respective poles. Once he gets the all clear he turns to the time keeper and calls for the bell.

Immediately Sandow races up the turnbuckle and tries to grab Case 2, but the other four men rush over and stop him before he can even lay a fingertip on it. All four men begin assaulting Sandow in the corner until he’s able to escape through the ropes and out of the ring. Swagger starts to exit the ring, when Trent puts on hand on his shoulder and says that he wants a piece of Sandow. Swagger looks at Trent’s hand in disgust and without warning rocks him with a punch that knocks him to the ground. A hand spins Swagger around and Dinero gives him a taste of his own medicine.

Meanwhile, Lethal takes hold of the top rope and launches himself out of the ring with a plancha that knocks Sandow back down to the ground. Trent is back on his feet and seeing that Dinero is handling things with Swagger, he races over to the ropes to pick up momentum then he flies over the top rope onto Sandow and Lethal.

Back in the ring, Dinero takes Swagger by the arm and attempts an irish whip, but Swagger reverses the throw and sends Dinero running over to the ropes in his place. When Dinero bounces off he leaps into the air and nails Swagger with a huge leaping shoulder block. With Swagger down, Dinero begins making his way over to grab Case 3, but Swagger stops his ascent by grabbing Dinero’s leg and pulling him back down to the mat. Dinero lands on his feet and connects with a right to Swagger, then he goes for a left that gets blocked and Swagger quickly wraps his arms around Dinero and almost effortlessly tosses him overhead with a belly to belly.

On the outside, Lethal and Trent are working together to double team Sandow and they have him against the barricade after an irish whip. Trent goes charging at Sandow who instinctively lifts Trent off the ground and drops him chest first onto the barricade with a flapjack. Lethal reaches for Sandow who drives his knee into Lethal’s gut doubling him over then he grabs Lethal and throws him into the barricade. Sandow wipes his hands together and makes his way back to the ring and gets onto the apron. Sandow begins to climb to the top and reaches for case 1 and he almost gets it but Trent is right there with his hand wrapped around Sandow’s ankle preventing him from getting any higher.

Sandow is doing all he can to get Trent to release his iron grip, but it’s all been in vain up to this point. Trent climbs onto the apron and pulls Sandow down so he’s standing next to him. Suddenly, Sandow grabs a handful of Trent’s hair and tugs on it repeatedly. Trent fights back with some forearms to Sandow’s rib cage, but another pull of the hair ends any hope of that comeback. Suddenly Lethal pops up under Sandow and powerbombs him off the apron! Lethal gets up and Trent leaps onto his shoulders with the hurricanrana taking Lethal down to the ground.

In the ring, Dinero has Swagger in the air with a suplex but he doesn’t hit it as Swagger is able to avoid any damage and lands on his feet behind Dinero. As Trent climbs onto the apron, Swagger grabs Dinero from behind and pushed him into the ropes which sends Trent flying into the barricade. Swagger then goes for a german suplex but stiff elbows to the side of the head makes him release his grip. Dinero gets Swagger in an inverted facelock then drops him with a DDT. After taking out Swagger and with Lethal, Trent and Sandow incapacitated out of the ring Dinero is in a prime spot to go for a case and he doesn’t waste any time making his way over to a corner to get Case 3.

He begins to climb up when suddenly Zeb Colter hits the ropes knocking him off balance. Dinero tumbles to the ground and Swagger starts walking over to take care of him when he notices Sandow trying to sneak his way up to grab Case 1 again. Swagger races over to meet Sandow on the turnbuckle and the two begin to duke it out. Swagger knocks Sandow’s head back against the metal pole and it dazes Sandow enough for Swagger to reach over him to grab a briefcase, but not enough for him to sit there and let him actually pull it off. While sitting on the top rope, Sandow begins hitting Swagger in the gut then he headbutts him and pushes him off the top.

Sandow begins to upright himself, when a chop from Lethal on the apron knocks him back down on his butt. Lethal chops Sandow a few more chops and the crowd “woos” with each echoing shot. Lethal climbs over the ropes and is attempting to superplex Sandow, but the self-professed intellectual savior is doing everything he can to save his skin. Sandow connects with some shots to the gut and Lethal almost falls off but he quickly regains his balance and strikes out with forearms that hit Sandow right in the face. Lethal goes for the superplex one more time and as he gets Sandow into position, Swagger gets under Lethal and all three men go crashing down to the mat with the tower of doom!

This time it was Lethal getting the powerbomb instead of giving them and he doesn’t seem to have taken it too well as he reaches for his lower back after that big fall. Swagger, who didn’t take much, if any, damage, pulls himself to his feet in the corner but that proves to be a bad spot to be in as Dinero comes charging at him and hits the DDE driving both of his knees into Swagger’s chest. Trent spins Dinero around and hits a spinning kick to the gut knocking the wind out him. Trent races over to the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Dinero had the same thing in mind and the two men damn near behead each other.

All five men are down for the count and it doesn’t look like any of them will be rising to their feet. Although, that does leave one man unchecked… With no one to stop him, Colter begins climbing to the top towards Case 2! Sandow begins to stir first and he drags himself over to the corner where Zeb is. He’s finally able to get to his feet and he staggers over to the corner but he’s too late as Colter quickly unhooks a briefcase and climbs out of the ring before Sandow can get to him. Colter runs as fast as he can over to where Swagger is and pulls him out of the ring and hands him the briefcase while Sandow looks on in dismay.

Swagger leans on Colter to keep him from toppling over and together they walk up the ramp while Colter shouts “that’s how real Americans get the job done.” Sandow continues to look on and he has to be thinking that one less case means that he’s one step closer to losing his job. Sandow turns around and sees that Lethal, Trent and Dinero are all on their feet and the same thought has to be crossing their minds as well.

Trent and Lethal suddenly make a break for Cases 1 and 3 and attempt to scurry up as quickly as possible, however Sandow is right there to hold back Lethal and Dinero stops Trent in his tracks. Sandow and Dinero begin to go to town on their respective captives in the corner, then they take them by the arms and irish whips them. When they meet in the center of the ring, Trent and Lethal lock arms and do a full 360 spin before running back to where they came from. Lethal drives his shoulder into Sandow’s gut while Trent hits a springboard back elbow on Dinero. Lethal and Trent simultaneously run past each other and now it’s Trent who flips over and hits a senton on a sitting Sandow and Lethal nails Dinero in the jaw with a dropkick.

The two men are off running again, but this time they’re heading straight towards each other. Lethal ducks under a clothesline from Trent then does a handspring into the ropes. He comes back with an elbow but Trent kills Lethal’s momentum by grabbing him from behind and prepares to hit a german suplex. Lethal elbows his way out then gets behind Trent looking to hit a german suplex of his own but Trent slips out of his grasp then he quickly wraps his arm around Lethal’s neck as a setup for The Dudebuster DDT. Trent steps off the top rope, spins in the air and drives Lethal’s skull into the mat with as much force as he can muster and he may have knocked him out cold with that move.

Trent pops back to his feet and gets over to a corner as quickly as he can begins to make the climb up to grab Case 1. He’s just high enough to get a hand on the case, but before he can use his other hand to reach for the hook, Sandow pulls Trent’s leg out from under him. Trent hits the turnbuckles chest first before dropping to the ground and Sandow believes he’s in the clear to climb up himself. That assumption proves to be false as Dinero is right there to knock Sandow down and then he leans Sandow back into a tree of woe. Sandow waves his arms frantically, but his legs are hooked and they don’t look to be coming undone anytime soon. He desperately grabs Dinero’s boot in an effort to stop him or at least slow him down, however that leaves his face exposed and Dinero kicks it a few times until Sandow lets go.

Dinero begins to climb over Sandow in fear that heading to another corner would be wasting too much time. But he didn’t have that much time regardless because Lethal clobbers Dinero’s lower back to prevent him from reaching up to crab Case 1 and then he begins to climb up behind him. Dinero has nowhere to go and he’s just as concerned about the long fall down as he is about Lethal creeping up behind him. Before Dinero can fight back Lethal hooks both of his arms does a release dragon suplex off the top rope!

Lethal took himself out with that move and now both men are out on the mat. Trent crawls over to the ropes and uses them to pull himself up to his feet. Seeing Lethal and Dinero out and Sandow stuck upside down, Trent staggers over to the corner where Case 4 hangs and begins making the climb up. All along the way Sandow is shouting “No” while he tries to free his leg. Sandow sits up and with great force is able to push his foot out and he falls to the mat. By then it’s too late as Trent successfully unhooks Case 4 and leaves the ring with it.

At first Sandow appears to be beyond upset, but then he looks up to see that Case 1 is right there for him to take. He does everything in his power to stand but his right leg refuses to cooperate after being bent in that tree of woe for such a long time. Sandow hits his leg as if it were an old computer that just needed a smack right in the sweet spot so that it’ll start chugging along again. But we’re talking about flesh and blood here not bolts and screws and it looks like Sandow’s leg isn’t going to make life any easier for him. Sandow drags himself over to the corner and pulls himself back to his feet. He turns his back to the ring and tries to climb up but he doesn’t get anywhere before Lethal drives his forearm into Sandow’s lower back.

Lethal spins Sandow around and chops him across the chest not once but twice, then Sandow quickly thumbs Lethal in the eye temporarily blinding him. Lethal turns away from Sandow, then he quickly snaps back with an enzuigiri that hits Sandow on the side of the head. Sandow collapses to the ground while Lethal rolls out of the ring. From the outside, Lethal takes Sandow’s leg and wraps it around the ring post. Sandow screams out in pain and his cry gets louder when Lethal slams his leg into the ring post a second. Lethal gets ready to make the third time a charm, but then he spots Dinero dragging himself over to Case 3, and Lethal shifts his focus. As Lethal walks away, Sandow crawls away from the corner and into the center of the ring to create as much distance between himself and that ring post as possible.

Dinero has foot on the bottom rope, and just raising his other leg to the middle rope seems like it’s taking a lot of effort on his part due to everything he’s gone through in this match. Dinero gets to the middle rope, and after exerting a great deal of effort, the top rope. He reaches up, but Lethal intercepts him on the apron and punches him in the gut until Dinero steps back down to the middle rope. Lethal aims for the head with his next punch, but Dinero reverses it and knocks Lethal silly with a right hook that knocks him off the apron. Dinero focuses back on the climb, but now Sandow is there, bad leg and all to stop him.

Sandow holds onto Dinero as he climbs to the middle rope next to him, but that may be a mistake as now he’s within striking distance. Dinero doesn’t hold back as he begins to elbow Sandow’s rib cage, but Sandow stops him from doing any real damage by viciously raking Dinero’s eyes. Sandow then grabs him and hits a Russian leg sweep off the middle rope! Sandow flips backwards onto his feet but his knee buckles on him before he could go for the Elbow of Disdain. Sandow turns and ducks under a Lethal springboard dropkick. Lethal gets up and Sandow charges at him only to get taken down and out with a Lethal Combination.

Lethal climbs to the top rope and points to the ceiling with both fingers in tribute to Randy Savage, then he dives off the top rope and misses the elbow drop! Sandow gets to his feet and sets up for an elbow of his own and hits it. Sandow gets up and is grabbed from behind by Dinero who’s attempting to hit his signature front leg sweep. Sandow stomps on Dinero’s boot then takes one of his arms before sliding between his legs and popping up on the other side. Sandow then lifts Dinero into the air and slams him down with a pumphandle slam. Sandow gets to his feet and has a devilish smile on his face and to people respond to that with a loud series of boos.

Sandow signals for the end then bends over to pull Lethal to his feet only to get pushed back and Lethal cracks Sandow’s jaw with a mean superkick. With Sandow dazed on his feet Lethal races over to the ropes, does a handspring, flips back and drops Sandow with a cutter. After nailing the Lethal Injection, Lethal makes is way over to where Case 1 is hanging and starts to climb up. He grabs hold of his case at the same time Dinero grabs a hold of his leg in a last ditch effort to prevent one of the final two cases from being snatched up.

Dinero is tugging at Lethal’s leg trying to pulling him down and he manages to pull Lethal back down to the mat. Dinero goes for a punch but Lethal ducks under it and quickly grabs Dinero from behind and throws him into the air and transitions into a sick looking neckbreaker. With no one left to stop him, Lethal climbs to the top and secures Case 1 for himself and holds it high in the air as the people cheer him. Lethal drops down and makes his way up the ramp. He takes one last look at the two men he left lying in the ring before heading to the back.

For a while neither Sandow nor Dinero are moving in the ring and the people begin to chant Dinero’s name because he’s all that stands between them and a Sandow free XWL. Unfortunately it’s Sandow who begins to show signs of life first and the chants turn to boos because not only may Sandow be the first to his feet, but he’s also closest to Case 3. Sandow realizes that now too and he begins to pick up the pace and he crawls towards the case.

He hands his hands wrapped around the top rope and struggles to pull himself up and he does he takes the next step and that’s to begin the climb to the top rope to claim the final case. He has his hands on the case now but just in the nick of time Dinero is there, and the people’s cheers grow in volume, because this could be the end of Sandow. Dinero climbs up next to Sandow and from the top rope the two men begin to exchange right hands while holding onto the pole with their left. It dawns on Sandow too late that he’s getting in to the striking game with an elite player, and with no other options Sandow lets go of the pole with his left hand and grabs onto Dinero. With all the energy he has left Sandow delivers a massive headbutt that affects him as much as it does Dinero and both men go sailing down to the mat and Sandow rolls out of the ring.

Several moments pass and neither man have moved a muscle. The officials who mostly stayed out of the wrestler’s way throughout the match come to check in on them. Dinero begins to come to and the people begin to cheer once more because he’s all along in the ring and right next to the corner where the case is being held. With everything he has left Dinero for what must feel like the hundredth time this match begins to crawl up and it takes a while but he finally has made it to the top. Feeling a little lightheaded and dazed, Dinero nearly tumbles down but he grabs onto the pole because if he takes a fall like that one more time he may never get back up. Dinero reaches for the case and takes a steel chair to the gut!

From his spot on the apron, Sandow smacks Dinero on the back with the chair and watches with a smile as he falls off the top. Sandow throws down the chair to free up his hands for the climb to the top. He takes his sweet time grabbing the case because he knows that there’s no one around to stop him now. With a grin on his face Sandow unhooks Case 3 and holds it high above his head to the dismay of the audience.

Michael Cole
Yes, they both did it! Jack Swagger and Damien Sandow both got a briefcase. Sayonara Dinero, maybe next time!

Jim Ross
Getting a case is only half the battle, Cole, there’s still the matter of who has the cases with the contracts, who has the case with the pink slip, and who has the case whose contents still remain a mystery?

Jerry Lawler
I’m getting word in my headset, that after the combatants take a moment to catch their breaths, they’ll gather backstage where the cases will be opened. I can’t wait!

The video begins to play of The Motor City Machine Guns getting a bit of fresh air after their taxing match against The American Wolves to open the Pay Per View.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 CBRJZiC

{Alex Shelley}
We finally did it, bud, we got The Wolves off our backs, and I don’t know about you but I feel a couple hundred pounds lighter. They thought they could push us around and make an example out of us, and hey, they weren’t the first to pull that and chances are they won’t be the last. But what’s important is that we proved them wrong and we made every team out there that thought they could steamroll us and get an easy in think twice about their game plans. I mean didn’t The Wolves know that it’s not every day in sports a team up 3-0 drops the ball and loses four straight? And I don’t know about you, but I wasn’t just gonna sit there and let The Guns end up on the wrong side of history. That’s for people like The Opposition, The Resistance and inevitably The Men of Honor, but not us because we’re winners and we’re champions and we’ve stood through the test of time.

{Chris Sabin}
It's funny how the Wolves went out of their way to take these championships from over our shoulders, while trying to take us out in the process, and they failed. I told everyone that their bark was bigger than their bite, and we proved that tonight. They put up one hell of a fight, but when the dust settled, we were the only team left standing. I always knew the Wolves were bitter, but I never thought that they would be sore losers. We stand here the reigning Ersatz Tag Team Champions, but the night isn't over yet. You still have a chance to become the United States Champion.

{Alex Shelley}
No, we have a chance to become United States Champions, because a victory for me is a victory for The Guns, for Detroit and for America. It brings a tear to my eye to see how far that title is fallen, the same way The Titanic and those hot wings we had last night brought me to tears, both for different reasons. The point is, I’m going to take it upon myself, with your help, to restore the glory of that title. Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin, Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley: The Motor Machine Guns… together we can do what they once thought was impossible, and that’s make The United States Title matter. If we can make The Ersatz Tag Titles the most sought after prize in this company then I’m sure we can do it again. There’s just one more match and one more obstacle to take care of.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 IwQYGfx

{Chris Sabin}
Wade thinks just because you've already competed in a match tonight, that it'll be a short night for him. He couldn't be more wrong. He underestimates your ability in the ring, and it'll cost him. He's not the only one who's done that, the American Wolves fall under that same category and look at what happened to them. After you beat Wade and take his United States Championship, we're going to have a celebration like no other. And what's a celebration... without balloons?

{Alex Shelley}
Don’t forget a game of Rockband to keep the guests entertained…

{Chris Sabin}
Or a few pieces of paper and a couple pencils for a game of Tic-Tac-Toe...

{Alex Shelley}
We’re probably gonna need someone the man the grill. I could go for some barbeque…

{Chris Sabin}
We could invite the Wolves, although, I'd keep them away from the guests...

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 DAgTLmv

{Alex Shelley}
You have a point there, Wolves can be pretty dangerous. In fact, statistics show that every year five wrestling fans are hospitalized with severe cases of depression after watching an American Wolves match.

{Chris Sabin}
Yeah, inviting the Wolves might not be the best idea. I'm pretty sure they still hate us after we beat them earlier tonight. What about Wade? It's not like he's a sore loser, right?

{Alex Shelley}
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, Chris, Wade is a very capable opponent. I mean he punches hard, he shouts “boom” and uses the sweet scent of a rose to mask his body odor, I gotta give credit where it’s due. I may have my work cut out for me tonight. Especially with you being barred from ringside. I tried to get you in as a shark, but they said something silly like you wouldn’t be objective. But what do they know, right?

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 UCA4eGZ

{Chris Sabin}
I understand that he's a former World Champion and a former Intercontinental Champion, but those days are behind him. This is your time, Alex, it's been a while since you've held singles gold, and tonight is that night. You've overcome obstacle after obstacle to make it to this point, and now, you've got me watching your back once again. This is the rise of The Motor City Machine Guns, and it starts with you winning that United States Championship.

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 KSNQVMd

{Alex Shelley}
And who knows how it’ll end, but it’s all about the ride, right? The road taken, the sights and sounds and when we look back we’ll remember all the good times. And looking forward, I hope that teams yet to make their debut in XWL have learned a valuable lesson by watching what we did to The Wolves tonight: we’re not stepping stones. If you want a shot at glory and at these Ersatz Tag Team Championships, then step up and face us like men. Of course, that’s assuming there are any other teams out there lurking in the shadows. Have you been keeping score, Chris?

{Chris Sabin}
Generation Me, World Elite, Team 3D, The Road Warriors, The New World Order, Kings of Wrestling but no one remembers them, and now, The American Wolves. When will people realize that when it comes to defending these Ersatz Tag Team Championships, we don't mess around? Whoever our next challenge is, we'll be ready. Now if you’ll excuse me I have a party to plan for.

Sabin and Shelley shake hands then Sabin walks off screen leaving Shelley standing there by himself.

{Alex Shelley}
I’ll catch up with you later, bud, there’s something else I have to take care of…

Shelley walks away in the opposite direction as the screen fades to black.

*Seth Rollins lets out a primal war cry as he shoots through the curtains to a rain of boo's.

{Cole}
The match was set last week and this match between Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins is a Tables match!

{J.R.}
These two men get to settle their differences in a very taxing match, where it's not about pins, it's not about submissions, but it's about beating down your opponent to the point and sending them through a wooden table!

{King}
These guys are ending it here at Dead Man's Hand, in front of all these people one of these men will leave a winner and one will be walking out a loser!

*The crowd quickly changes from boo's to enormous applause as Kofi's theme hits the PA speakers. Rollins sits in the corner of the ring waiting for Kofi who has a oddly serious look on his face contrary to his usual grin.

{J.R.}
Kofi does not look to be in a playing mood tonight, folks. He is as ready as one can get for a big time match.

{King}
His match at Final Stand just slipped through his finger tips and now he's getting a shot at redemption, a chance to return the favor to Rollins!

*Kofi slides into the ring and walks straight towards Rollins who stands up and meets face to face with his opponent. Kofi throws the first punch! Rollins immediately fires back and both men start throwing haymakers back and forth!

{J.R.}
This is going to be a slobber knocker folks!

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 MJUJr8d

Both men continue the rain of fists into the jaw and abdomen of each other, each fist stronger than the last! Rollins steps into his next punch and makes it a European uppercut which stuns Kingston; Rollins grabs his arm and immediately whips him into the ropes. Kofi hits the ropes and on the return Rollins fires off a super kick! Kofi goes matrix and slides under the kick! Rollins turns around and Kofi hops to his feet and spins going for Trouble in Paradise but Rollins ducks! Kofi charges the ducked Rollins leaping over him and in one fluid motion hits the middle rope of the turnbuckle and springboards off of it and twists attempting a cross body on Rollins! Rollins is ready for it as he leaps and catches Kofi mid-air with dual knees right to the chest!! Kofi lets out a hollow sounding yell as the air is knocked right out of his body. Rollins tries to catch his breath after the quick sequence of events that just happened. Rollins walks over to Kofi and places his boot on the side of his head, pressing it trying to squeeze the life out of his adversary. Kofi squirms under the pressure, flailing his legs, Rollins lifts his boot and goes to drive it into the skull grounded skull but Kofi rolls out of the way. Rollins closes in on the grounded Kingston, whose crawling into the corner to get to his feet quickly. Rollins stalks up to him and drives his knee into his gut, Kofi stumbles out of the corner gasping for air from the blows to his abdomen and chest. Rollins charges in and punts Kofi in the gut sending him rolling across the ring to the outside.

{Cole}
Rollins is continuing where he left off the past few weeks and staying on the attack, not giving Kofi room to breathe. Figuratively and literally!

{King}
His focus seems to be the same as at Final Stand, work over Kofi's mid-section.

Rollins backs up to the opposite side of the ring and begins stomping the mat, he charges towards the ropes and just as he's about to leap over onto Kofi he stops and turns to hit the ropes taunting the crowd who were looking forward to the big move. Rollins continues hounding the crowd and ends up turning away from Kingston. Kofi manages to recoup enough while holding onto his ribs to get to the apron, he measures Rollins and as he turns Kofi leaps and springboards towards Seth! He connects with a big cross-body! Rollins holds his ribs but he scrambles to his feet and charges at Kofi, who catches his arm and flips Rollins over his body. Rollins recovers quickly but gets met with a standing dropkick from Kofi! Rollins stays on the ground and Kofi walks over to him and delivers a kick to the back of his head, he follows up with a firm side headlock. He continues wearing him down, trying to drain some energy from his body, but Rollins starts twisting his body causing Kofi to lose his grip, he also starts driving his elbow into the slightly worn ribs. This forces Kofi to relinquish his hold and both men get a reset of sorts as they end up in the corners they should've started the match in.

{J.R.}
These two are just getting started folks, there's that feeling they haven't even kicked it into the next gear.

{King}
We've seen the anger built up in Seth over the past few weeks which has transferred apparently over to Kofi, look at his face!

The camera indeed closes in on Kofi's face which is serious and focused on Rollins whose expression mirrors Kofi's. Both men start pumping themselves up before charging back in and tying up with one another. They both struggle to get the edge in the lock up before Rollins uses one of his legs and kicks Kofi’s right foot out from under him which causes Kofi to fall to one knee and lose his grip, Rollins immediately tucks Kofi’s head under his arm and drives him head first into the mat with a DDT. Rollins quickly rolls to the outside and starts digging under the ring and pulls out a chair before going back to looking under the ring. Kofi shakes the cob webs loose in the ring before noticing he’s alone in the ring. He looks outside and sees Rollins who’s unaware Kofi’s awake. Kofi steps to the apron and walks to create some distance between the two; he takes a deep breath before charging full speed and leaping driving both of his feet into the lower back of Seth! Seth instantly collapses holding the small of his back as Kofi smacks his face and starts pumping himself up. He walks to Rollins and stomps on the back a couple of times, and then he drags so that Rollins is completely out from under the ring and in his hand is the edge of a table. Kofi notices this but decides to lift Rollins instead and places his shoulder in his abdomen and drives him back first which cause Seth to let out a yell of pain. Instead of backing off Kofi keeps the shoulder in place and turns so that Rollins back is facing the ring barrier and drives him into the barrier which again Rollins cries out and falls as Kofi releases his grip. Kofi does his signature clap as the crowd chant’s “Boom! Boom!” Rollins begins crawling around the corner of the ring and disappears around it while checking his back as Kofi turns and notices; he goes to continue his offense but as he turns the corner has to duck as Rollins dug another chair out from under the ring and threw it at him! Rollins gets to his feet and charges at Kofi as both men break out into a brawl again!

{J.R.}
These men are riding the feelings of adrenaline and hate to keep up this fast pace! And remember folks this IS a tables match, but neither men have made a play towards the table by the quick failed attempt by Rollins.

{Cole}
J.R. we rarely agree but right now these men seem to not care about winning, and simply about proving whose better, tougher!

Kingston delivers a knee to the gut of Rollins to cut the brawl short and give him the edge once again, Kingston throws Rollins from the ringside into the ring. But he does not follow him and walks back to where the initial outside action took place and grabs the chair Rollins tossed out from under the ring, taking it into the ring. Kingston begins slapping the mat with the chair causing Rollins to stir. Kofi rears the chair back and as Rollins turns fires the chair forward! Rollins jumps and connects with an enziguri before Kofi can connect with the chair shot, Kingston drops the chair and stumbles around Rollins gets to his feet and grabs the chair Kofi just had and smacks it over the back of Kofi! Kingston collapses to his knees crying out in pain, as Rollins stalks to the front of him squatting so that he's in his face. He stares menacingly at him before a grin pops up on his face and he unfolds the chair setting it in the middle of the ring. He drags his opponent towards it and then grabs their head and slams it into the chair causing a sickening thud! Kofi lays motionless leaving his head on the chair. Rollins backs up to the ropes and begins stomping his boot on the ground and yells "Curb Stomp!!" He charges in and leaps straight into the air!

{J.R.}
Rollins, no!! You'll crush his skull!

{King}
Oh god!

CRACK!!!! The crowd gasps at the noise but faint cheering can be heard as Rollins is seen as holding his leg hoping around on foot, with Kofi on wobbly legs but seemingly fine.

{J.R.}
Kofi moved!

Kofi tries to regroup be is still holding his head from the slam, he notices Rollins and immediately finds clarity and walks over to him, ducking under his arm and aims for the set up chair! Kofi flips forward! S.O.S. onto the chair!

{Cole}
Ow! I can feel that from here!

{King}
Rollins neck and upper back just were driven into that chair as Rollins lays motionless in the center of the ring!

Kofi remains seated trying to rest after the high pace and vicious moves. Rollins is kicking the mat as he lays on his stomach holding his neck. The crowd's chants of "That was sick!" fade out as Kofi rolls under the bottom rope to the outside and pulls out the table from earlier and slides it into the ring. He gets in and sets it up just to the side of the downed Seth Rollins whose still down from the S.O.S. Kofi walks over to Rollins and collapses over?! The camera pans and shows that Rollins delivered a low blow right as Kofi was picking him up, Rollins gets up slowly still feeling the effects of Kofi's offense and after a moment grabs Kofi's head and yanks it towards him tucking it under his arm before yelling "FADE TO BLACK!" and backing towards the table with Kofi lifted into the air!

{Cole}
This is a replay of BreakDown! Is Rollins going to take away a 2-0 record from Kingston?

Seth begins falling backwards to finish off Kofi but Kingston gets his feet leg loose! He lands both feet onto the table preventing from losing the match and Rollins quickly turns around to see Kofi leaping at him and wrapping his legs around his head, snapping off a big head scissors! Kofi high steps around the ring yelling with excitement after the counter and runs right to Rollins and delivers a big, jumping clothesline to Seth. Kofi instantly picks him up and moves towards the table and gets him set for a suplex, he begins lifting hum but as he gets to the peak he drives a knee right into the skull of Kingston who drops him in front of him. Rollins instinctively steps back and fires a super kick right into the jaw of Kofi who falls back and his upper body is spread out onto the table almost unconscious. Rollins falls to his ass after the kick and stares at Kofi and then pulls his thumb across his throat and kips up to his feet immediately going to Kofi and placing him onto the table. He walks to the apron and climbs to the top rope and points down to Kofi.

{J.R.}
This is how he won at Final Stand, with the Phoenix Splash!

{King}
If he hits this Kofi may be done for a while trying to recover his ribs and his ego!

Rollins leaps into the air spinning and completing the required movements for the splash but as he comes down he only sees wood! CRASH! Rollins puts himself through the table as Kofi moves out of the way!

{Cole}
Kofi moved! Kofi moved!

{King}
Rollins just crashed and burned big time! Fans remember though that the match continues because Kingston did not put Rollins through with an offensive maneuver.

Shatters of wood lie across the ring as Rollins pulls himself from the wreckage of the failed move. Kingston is crawling away from the table wreckage into the corner of the ring using the top rope to pull him to his feet, Kofi resting in the corner, Rollins crawling from the carnage of his mistake both men stare at eachother before Kingston scrambles to the outside and grabs the table set up at ringside for display and tosses it over the top of the ring ropes into the ring. Kofi joins it along with Rollins and grabs the table caddy cornering it just outside of the ring post on the left of the entrance ramp. Kofi struts over to the fallen Rollins and drags him up, onto the table. Kofi joins him and both men stand face to face before Kofi ducks and attempts another S.O.S! Rollins instincts kick in and he starts bashing his forearm into the back of Kofi's head! Kofi releases his positioning and is met with another forearm on the bridge of Kofi's nose and tries grabbing him for the Fade to Black! Kofi squirms free and spins CONNECTING WITH TROUBLE IN PARADISE!! Rollins collapses onto the table but it doesn't break. Kofi tries lifting him but his body is limp. Kofi stares for a moment before stepping from the table top to the top turnbuckle. He stands for a moment before doing his signature "Boom! Boom!" clap and pointing towards the fallen Rollins.

{J.R.}
Is Kofi going do what I think he's going to do?!

{Cole}
I think so!!

Kofi leaps and extends his legs out and together as he falls and drives Rollins through the table with the Boom Drop! The crowd pops as the bell rings and Kingston's music plays!

Winner: XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 Redemptionkofi

{J.R.}
Kofi got him! Kingston wins the Tables match!

{Cole}
Well I am shocked, I fully expected Rollins to get the victory here but it wasn't for lack of trying. He pushed Kofi to the limit and Kofi was still able to pull it out!

{King}
It was a very good match and Kingston has to be elated here!

*In the ring Kofi is still lying over top of Rollins but has a grin on his face as he hears his theme music playing and the fans cheering. After a few more moments he rolls out of the ring and while holding his ribs waves to the crowd up to the top of the stage and then performs his signature clap for the third time before sliding through the curtain as medical personnel run down to check on Rollins. He gets to his feet as the medics get in the ring, and they try checking on him but he shoves one away and starts screaming at them to "F**k off!" before pushing his way out of the ring and up the ramp.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 N0JZg

Jim Ross
What a thrilling match that was!

Michael Cole
Does it really matter? Kofi winning invalidates the whole thing. That was Rollins’ match to take and you all it.

Jerry Lawler
Well, that’s your opinion, but for me Kofi’s the man to look for. This victory has been a long time coming for him and I can’t wait to see where he goes from here.

Jim Ross
Rollins’ reaction to this loss is yet another mystery to be unveiled but at least we’re only moments away from the big reveal from the Feast or Fired match earlier in the show.

Jerry Lawler
Jack Swagger, Trent Barreta, Jay Lethal and Damien Sandow were all able to grab a case in that order, leaving D’Angelo Dinero empty handed and without a shot to luck is way into the job.

Michael Cole
I don’t see what the big hype is all about; the right people will keep their jobs and everybody is getting all worked up for nothing.

Jim Ross
Well when you’re dealing with fate it’s not always about who deserves it more.

The cameras cut away from the announcers and we’re taken backstage to where Hulk Hogan, Vickie Guerrero and the four case holders are standing by.

Hulk Hogan
All right guys, we’re just about ready to..

Vickie Guerrero
Excuse me!

Hulk Hogan
…What?

Vickie Guerrero
Now boys, it’s time for the big case opening extravaganza! Jack Swagger, please step forward.

Swagger and Colter step in front of the pack and Swagger holds out his case so that an official can remove the chains. Swagger hands the case to Colter so that he can open the case and places his arms behind his back while showing no signs of nervousness or anxiety. Colter releases the clasps and the case lid slowly rises up. Colter looks inside and a smile finds its way onto his face as he turns the case to the camera so that the whole world can see…. that Swagger won his contract back!

Hulk Hogan
Congratulations Swagger, looks like sticking your nose where it didn’t belong didn’t cost you this time around.

Swagger ignores him as his celebration with Colter commences. The two men laugh amongst themselves while walking down the hallway unconcerned with the fate of the other three men.

Vickie Guerrero
All right, Trent, you’re up, time to see what’s inside that case. And just remember, winning a contract doesn’t automatically mean you have what it takes to cut it here…. At least not on my brand.

Trent steps forward and once the chains are removed from his case he takes a deep breath before opening it up. He nearly drops the case as a look of surprise then sadness flashes on his face. The cameraman moves around to look over Trent’s shoulder and it’s revealed that he grabbed the case with the pink slip!

Hulk Hogan
Tough break, kid. Sorry things didn’t go as you hoped, but you have nothing to be ashamed of.

Vickie Guerrero
Toodles!

The cameras cut over to Sandow who has a small smirk on his face, because he managed to avoid getting fired... for now. There’s a cut back over to Trent who takes a long walk of disappoint down the hallway before turning a corner and disappearing from view.

Vickie Guerrero
And that just leaves the two of you. One of those cases has a contract, the other a surprise that we hope is worth your while.

Hulk Hogan
You’re up, Lethal, let’s see if the odds are in your favor.

Lethal allows his case to be freed of its chains and pauses before opening his case. He takes a look over at Sandow, then at the Redemption and Breakdown General Managers, then once more at the case that holds his future inside. Lethal quickly opens up his case and when he opens his eyes and peers down he doesn’t look happy or sad, but instead confused.

Jay Lethal
What is this?

Lethal turns the case towards the GMs and the camera zooms in on its contents to reveal a miniature roulette wheel inside.

Damien Sandow
Yes! There’s no doubt now about what lies inside of my briefcase. I have retained my contract, I have defeated the odds just as I said I would, and I do believe that means my business here is completed. Now, if you don’t mind, adequate preparations must be made for the United States Championship match that was promised to me.

Vickie Guerrero
Now hang on there a second, Sandow. While yes, you have gotten your contract back, there is still one issue that needs to be resolved. What that wheel in Lethal’s case means is that he gets another opportunity to play the game of chance.

The life-sized wheel is rolled onto the screen and Vickie gestures towards it inviting Lethal over.

Hulk Hogan
You get one spin, brother, and that will decide how things play out.

Lethal hands his case over to the official and steps over to the wheel. He lets loose with a big spin and steps back as the pictures on the wheel go by in a blur.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Ns1aPw7

The wheel slows and lands on a spot that just has the number 1 on it.

Jay Lethal
I don’t get it…What does that mean?

Hulk Hogan
What this means is that you’re in luck, brother. You get one more opportunity to earn a spot on this roster. You get one match against either of the two men who won a contract tonight: Jack Swagger or Damien Sandow.

Damien Sandow
No, that’s preposterous; I cannot allow such a travesty to occur. I went through the gauntlet and went above and beyond the call of duty to retain my contract and now you want me to put it on the line once more?

Vickie Guerrero
Sorry Sandow, but it’s not your call to make. If you’re chosen then you’ll just have to deal with it.

Hulk Hogan
So who’s it gonna be, Lethal?

Jay Lethal
Me and Sandow have some unfinished business from when he ran off before our match a few weeks ago. Now you’ll have nowhere to run, because I’m coming for your job.

Damien Sandow
And just when is this bout scheduled to occur?

Vickie Guerrero
Next week on Redemption!

In anger Sandow throws down his case and storms down the hallway while Lethal looks on with a grin on his face.

We’re taken backstage and we see Alex Shelley walking down a hallway fiddling with his phone. He turns a corner and continues walk when he suddenly freezes in his tracks. Shelley takes a few slow steps backwards then turns to his right and smiles at the person he sees. The cameras zoom out and Dolph Ziggler is shown idly sitting on a crate. Shelley types in one final message on his phone before he slips it into his pocket.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Shelltod13

{Alex Shelley}
Would you look who it is! Glad to see you’re making yourself useful, Dolph. You’re always in the right place at the right time, but I guess that’s why they call you The Show-off, eh? Maybe you can do a handstand on the crate or pretend they’re drums and serenade a lady with a toe tapping rhythm as she walks by. Ah, I’m sure you’ll think of something. You have plenty of time now considering you don’t have a match tonight since you lost that number one contender’s match or a date either since you lost Vickie to whoever happens to be her boy-toy of the month. But tell you what; want to know who I was on the phone with? A man that specializes in all things celebratory, and on occasion funeralatory when business is slow. You Dolph are hereby invited to hang out with The Motor City Machine Guns as we celebrate our victory over the American Wolves, and if everything goes according to plan, my victory over Wade Barrett. So what do you say?

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 UQLl5wo

{Dolph Ziggler}
How do you always find me?.. It's getting a bit creepy at this point. Look, now's not really the night to get on my bad side Shelley. Congrats on your tag match win and all that but do you really think you can win a second match against a fresh Wade Barrett? C'mon now.. You're not gonna have Chris Sabin to pull some of the weight in that match. Thanks for the invite, I guess.. But I kinda have my own things going on tonight, you never know what's gonna happen in XWL you know. So thanks but no thanks, you and Sabin can have your own party. You can play Xbox or something like that, because you guys like video games right? Or you can go hunting with Stone Cold E.T again, the possibilities are endless! But as for Dolph Ziggler, he has plenty of plans for tonight.

{Alex Shelley}
Sitting on crate gazing into the distance doesn’t seem like much of a plan, but whatever floats your boat. Maybe having someone like Chris Sabin in your corner to give you a little moral support against Dean Ambrose would have kept your boat afloat, but now you’re just a captain of a sinking vessel. And I’d like to think we know each other well enough for you to realize that I always have a plan. By the time I’m finished with our friend from across the pond he’s gonna feel like he’s the one who went to war with The Wolves. Let me let you in on a little secret, I’m going to put the sharks around the ring to good use. You wouldn’t happen to be one of them, would you?

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 OiLMgCf

{Dolph Ziggler}
To you this may just be me sitting on a crate gazing into the distance but to me it's planning, motivation is going to strike sooner or later, well, hopefully.. The thing is, you may think I need someone to watch my back but I don't want to have anyone watching my back because when I eventually win the World Heavyweight Championship I want that spotlight all to myself because I deserve it. If you have a plan against Wade that's great and I hope it works out well for you.. But I don't play second fiddle to anyone, I'm not going to stand outside the ring and watch your match and hit a couple shots at Wade Barrett. When I could have been main eventing and I should have been main eventing. Just because I shook your hand doesn't mean I'm going to do all of that for you..

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Shelltod10

{Alex Shelley}
Hang on a second, is that a hint of jealousy I hear in your voice, Dolph? Perhaps a little envy that I didn’t choke a few weeks back and am now competing for a title while you’re not? It’s okay man, I don’t think any less of you. In fact, I even respect you a little more now because here you are hanging in there, when many other men have crumbled under the sheer weight of the embarrassment. Good for you, Dolph. Good for you. And I know what that handshake was; it was you placing your faith in me to accomplish the things that you don’t have it in you to achieve. So I’ll go out there and win the United States Championship on your behalf, and who knows, maybe a couple months down the line you can vicariously experience the thrill of main eventing a pay per view through me.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 NlBBa5F

{Dolph Ziggler}
Of course I'm jealous Alex! You're in two matches involving titles tonight, even if the tag titles aren't really.. yeah.. But the fact is there's all of these matches going on and the man who calls himself the Show Stealer is sitting backstage waiting for something to happen. For the past month I've talked about how I thrive to be the very best yet here I am at one of XWL's biggest ever Pay Per Views and I'm not even on the freaking card. I need to make something happen and I need to do it fast. I know down the line I will experience that thrill of main eventing a Pay Per View but I'm not a very patient man. I'm not the kind of guy who waits for my opportunities; I'm the kinda guy who takes them.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Shelltod8

{Alex Shelley}
I’m not sure I like this new you, Dolph. Where’s the hip shakin’, hair-sweat flickin’, pink shirt wearin’ fellow that we’ve all come to know and tolerate? Dean Ambrose may have taken your title shot, but don’t let him have your smile too. Don’t let your ever growing list of failures and setbacks over the months get you down. Listen, Dolph, you were there for me when I needed a pep talk before I beat Antonio Cesaro, and tonight I’m going to be here for you with a little pearl of wisdom: You’re not as bad as we think you are, Dolph, you have all the tools to have a decent career in this company and I’ll be damned if I stand here and let you sit there and let your tears rust those tools. It’s time for you to find your inner alpha dog and set him loose on this company because right now I’m looking at an omega and that attitude won’t get you far.

It goes silent for roughly 15 seconds as Dolph thinks, he gets up off the crate and gets face to face with Shelley.

{Dolph Ziggler}
Give it a couple hours, Shelley. I promise you that by the end of the night the only person that everyone is going to be talking about is Dolph Ziggler.

After a short but sweet statement to Shelley, Dolph walks by him as Shelley turns back wondering what Dolph will do as a mischievous smirk grows on his face as we fade away to a video package.

Feedback would be hugely appreciated for my first Bryan promo

XWL's Dead Mans Hand comes back to an unusual scene of a man in a long black robe stood a top a podium along with Daniel Bryan standing in the middle of the ring in a long black robe of his own...

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 XXH9fBk

[Daniel Bryan]
First of all I wanna say a big huge thanks to everyone for coming along here today, as you may have noticed this is my big graduation celebration! What a turn out I must say! It's almost as if you came for some other reason but I know you didn't! You're here for me! Now I know I've kept it a surprise but it's finally time for me to reveal what I'm graduating in.....Have I been training to become a doctor?!

[Crowd]
NO!

[Daniel Bryan]
Hey I could be a doctor!....But I'm not, not yet anyway. Am I....a teacher?!

[Crowd]
NO!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 MmzkgCt

[Daniel Bryan]
Oh but I am, I teach each and every person on this planet how to live their lives the right way, the Daniel Bryan way! I don't eat meat, I am in tip top shape, I don't wear clothes that hurt the environment, I recycle! I even donate some of my salary to the WWF for their protection of the great bears of the world! I won't say how much because I am a humble, humble man but I will say that it's more than most people throw away every year buying filthy meat products and an over abundance of alcohol! I am the perfect role model! YES! I am handsome! YES! And I am the best submission wrestler on this planet....YES! YES! YES! YES!

[Crowd]
NO! NO! NO!

[Daniel Bryan]
Stop it! I don't think you understand! It's okay to be confused but let me elaborate, today is my day! My day! My day! It's all about me....Because I have graduated from....wait for it....The league of evil!

The crowd look around confused, some even laugh, this has to be a joke right? But still the weird looking guy takes the diploma and graduation cap and gives them both to Bryan shaking his hands before speaking

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 2FK4iTo

[Professor S]
I am here today to proudly give Daniel his diploma! During his time away from XWL he has slowly but surely learning how to be the best darn bad guy he can be! He's been helping old grandmothers over the road but stopping half way and running away! He's been slapping files out of peoples hands and he's even popped a kids chewing gum mid-bubble. What we see in Mr. Bryan is the absolute unheard of potential to become the ruler of this world. He is a criminal mastermind and today is all about him! YES!

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 86dfsZf

[Daniel Bryan]
Professor I am honored! That's right people! What you see here in the middle of this ring is the new and somehow even more improved Daniel Bryan! I just get better with age which is quite frankly frightening, to think of how skilled I will be as a pensioner! I was enjoying my time off, building houses for the poor when I realized something! When I was traveling the country as a nineteen year old boy with not a dime to my name, sleeping in the back of someone elses car, who built me a house? Nobody! Who offered me shelter? Nobody! Who gave me money? Nobody! In fact people kept taking my money! Horrible little wrestling promoters and even the great Shawn Michaels! He robbed me and left me to train virtually on my own! Y'know what happened to him? He became on of the biggest stars in history!

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 WP6V6Ow

[Daniel Bryan]
What I'm saying kids is that nice guys always finish last! So if someone asks you for money and you give them it, you become poor! It's simple maths, but if you're the guy demanding the money you might just become Shawn Michaels! So from this day forward there's no such thing as smiles and sunshine, rainbows and lollipops Daniel Bryan! Daniel Bryan will no longer kiss the babies and shake the hands because he is now certifiably evil! This diploma proves it and with the devil as my witness I'm gonna be the best bad guy in this company! If the referee's ask me to release the hold I'll wait till four and three quarters! I'll give you the choice to tap or snap and in my mind I'll be hoping you don't tap! If twenty people stop me in the street and ask me to sign a photo I'll sign nineteen and that poor shmuck at the end of the line will forever wonder why I hate him, because I AM EVIIIIIL! YES! YES! YES!

XWL Dead Mans Hand: 4/21/2013 - 4/28/2013 WfbKfai

[Daniel Bryan]
I am back to take control of this place and no one can stop my deadly reign of terror! Mwahahahahaha! Nobody can stop me! Not the heart of gold of John Cena! Not the stomach of the Big Show! Not the big red monster Kane! Not the sparkly World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho! Not the dazzling John Morrison or the brawling Wade Barrett! NOBODY! NOBODY! NOBODY! I am the penultimate superstar of this company! I am the ultimate wrestler! I am the benchmark of all things past, present and future but more importantly than any of that...I am diabolical! I am crafty! I am smart! I am gorgeous! I...am Daniel Bryan and I....am a bad guy.

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 I9C8Dfn

[Daniel Bryan]
So when you people leave here tonight I want you to warn everyone! Tell anyone you see that you saw the horrible rise of the next big super villain Mr Bryan! Show them the videos! Put the pictures on twitter! Write a blog and post on all of the forums! Right here, right now I am putting everyone in the back on notice! I am giving you all one week to quit or one week to fight to the end! Seven days....Seven short days and I'm let out of my cage, I'll pile the bodies to the sky and I'll stand on the top with my arms in the air like the champion I am....And I'll cheat on my way....With pride! Say it with me my minions of doom! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!

Every resounding Yes from Bryan is met by a huge No from the crowd but he doesn't care, he drops to his knees while throwing his graduation cap and arms in the air, still screaming "YES!" as XWL's PPV rolls on...

XWL Dead Mans Hand:   4/21/2013   -  4/28/2013 Us1_zps08f6fcf0

Jim Ross
And here we go, folks, we’re just moments away from one of several title matches tonight.

Jerry Lawler
Yeah and this is Alex Shelley’s second match of the evening. You gotta wonder if that’ll have any bearings on the way this match plays out.

Michael Cole
Now just hang on a moment, did you really just compare those toy tag titles to the real thing?

Jerry Lawler
Well The Guns, certainly defend them like they’re the real thing…

Michael Cole
Yeah, against teams that don’t matter!

Jerry Lawler
I’d love nothing more for you to tell The American Wolves that they don’t matter to their faces.

Jim Ross
I’m sure what matters most to Alex Shelley and Wade Barrett is that United States Championship on the line and the two men lurking outside the ring whose goal is to make life as difficult for the combatants as possible.

Yoshi Tatsu gets a modest reception from the crowd as he makes his way down to the ringside area.

Michael Cole
This guy? Are you kidding me? Does he even understand what this match is or what he’s supposed to do?

Jerry Lawler
It’s not exactly rocket science, Cole. You beat up anyone who’s unfortunate enough to end up outside the ring.

The Rattlesnake gets a huge pop from the crowd and they all join him in flipping the bird as he stands on the stage.

Jim Ross
It’s him! It’s Stone Cold! Talk about a perfect fit for this match.

Jerry Lawler
His motto is “Don’t Trust Anybody” among others, which means you won’t see him playing any favorites in this one.

Chants of “Motor City” break out as The Motor City Machine Guns step onto the stage. Shelley and Sabin stand back to back and do their gun point as pyro explodes to create the sound of a gunshot. The Guns do their secret handshake and Sabin gives Shelley a final word of advice before letting him make his way down the ramp. Shelley steps into the ring and stares out at Tatsu and Stone Cold who are watching him intently in return. Shelley climbs a turnbuckle and throws his arms in the air…

Shelley grins and hops off the top rope after Barrett cuts his entrance short. While the crowd boos the hell out of him, Barrett strolls onto the stage while patting the United States Championship wrapped around his waist and saying that it’s staying right where it belongs. Barrett casually walks down the ramp with a smug look on his face and when he gets down to the ring side area he tells the sharks that if either one of them lay a finger on him they’re getting their heads knocked off. On that note, Barrett climbs into the ring, walks over to Shelley and holds the United States title right in front of his face until The Ref comes over and separates the two. The Ref takes the title from Barrett and raises it in the air and the crowd is clearly in favor of Shelley, but their weary of just how dangerous the man standing across the ring from him is. The Ref checks on the two men one final time, then he calls for the bell and this title match is now underway…

The theme of the Motor City Machine Guns begins to play throughout the arena, signaling the end of the match and the crowning of a new United States Champion. Shelley raises his body off of Wade's and sits up on his knees as Wade begins to slowly roll out of the ring, feeling the effects of the grueling match. The expression on Shelley's face says it all, almost as if he can't believe that he has become the United States Champion. The referee retrieves the United States Championship and Shelley's half of the Ersatz Tag Team Championships from the timekeeper and begins to make his way towards Shelley, while Chris Sabin begins making his way down the ramp and to the ring. A smile graces Sabin's face as he slides into the ring with his half of the Ersatz Tag Team Championships in tow.

The referee hands Shelley both his championships as Sabin drops down besides him. Sabin mouths something to his tag team partner that isn't picked up on camera, causing a smile to form on Shelley's face. He helps Shelley up to his feet and motions to him, telling him to climb up onto the turnbuckle with his newly won championship. The Guns pose on opposite corners of the ring, proudly displaying their championships, much to the crowds delight. Then almost instantly, their celebration is cut short as a man wearing a mask rushes the ring from the crowd, with a steel chair in hand. Shelley is the first to feel the chair slam across his back, sending him to the outside of the ring, but fortunately for him, he manages to barely land on his feet but couldn't fully avoid the steel steps, going face first into them.

Sabin shifts his attention to the masked man but before he could react, the man throws the chair towards Sabin, knocking him off the top rope and sends him crashing into the ring. Shelley is shown trying to regain his composure in the ring, while Sabin is shown rolling around the ring from the precise chair throw. The man tosses the steel chair to the mat, content with the damage he's done and slowly begins to remove his mask. Boos rain down heavily as the identity of the man is now revealed to be The Miz!

Miz sees Sabin slowly making it to his feet, still unaware who the man that attacked him is. The second he stands up, he's dropped back down with a brutal Skull Crushing Finale, courtesy of The Miz. Not satisfied with just sending a message to The Guns, The Awesome One decides to inflict more punishment on one half of the Ersatz Tag Team Champions, by locking in a Figure Four Leg Lock! Shelley stumbles to his feet and tries to enter the ring, in an attempt to help his partner, but before he could, almost out of nowhere, he's leveled with a huge Bull Hammer. Wade smirks at his cheap shot before walking around the ring and up the ramp.

Sabin is shown tapping out in the ring, hoping that Miz will release the hold, but to no avail. After a few more moments, Miz lets go of the Figure Four and makes it back to his feet, mocking Sabin by holding his leg, similar to how Sabin is now after that submission maneuver. The theme of XWL's most must see superstar begins to play as the boos continue to shower him, but Miz doesn't seem to care as he soaks it all in. Dead Man's Hand begins to fade into a hype video for XWL's next Pay-Per-View, Unforgiven, as Miz is shown making his way up the ramp with a smirk on his face.
